Located on the first floor of the modernist Whisky Muhle building, Auf da Muhle is a stylish and reasonably priced restaurant offering a diverse menu with Mediterranean and Asian influences. The restaurant provides a cozy atmosphere for diners to enjoy dishes such as freshly baked pizzas, noodles, wok dishes, Australian and Andalusian steaks, as well as classic Austrian favorites like wiener schnitzel and kaisercharrn.
Solo traveler. Arrived without booking. Greeted with a smile and asked for a table for myself then swiftly taken to a choice of tables. This happened on both occasions I visited. Given the menu and time to choose. Drinks arrived, then shortly after the food. 1st meal was Carbonara and the second meal a pizza. All very tasty. Declined desert. I’m not a desert person. Staff very polite and helpful. All very well priced. Enjoyed the meals in a modern comfortable surroundings.

Meal was good, restaurant seems new, with a lot of staff, typical Austrian style. Only pity, they do not accept credit card….you need to use a cash machine at the entrance and to give 4 EUR to the bank (so that they simply shifted the pain from the restaurant to the customer….)

Good resturant, good food, nice decoration, everything was tasty but still some touch and extra tastes were missing. Carpaccio was very good meet but extra stuff and tastes were missing on it, Steaks were large and juicy, and medium as requested. One main annoying thing which is common in Soll, but not in any other ski resort i have been to, in Austria too, is that everyone wants Cash only, and dont accept cards, apple pay, google pay, etc...They must advance and avoid all those excuses of extra tax issues and other... please align to the world...

Was sadly disappointed with this place. :( I ordered the pepper steak medium well. It came back medium RARE and dripping with blood. They took it back and brought it back medium. I ate it and the flavor and everything was delicious, but the fries and vegetables were nothing special.... dessert we had the brownie and it was alright. Honestly, not worth the money IMO. My husband had a specialty plate for 18 euro and he loved it! Also take note, they accept cash only.
Chelsea P — Google review
Best meal we had in Austria, and Adam served us beautifully, recommended in and off menu dishes and made sure the kitchen is aligned to perfection. I would only recommend them having ventilation for the hot days. Everything else was just perfect.
Jonatan H — Google review
Very good and friendly service. My husband had the Ribeye and said it was fantastic. I had the Wagyu burger and unfortunately expected it to be tastier. It was ok but nothing to rave about. The cheesecake with caramel sauce for dessert was definitely worth it.

Been coming here for years and sad to see the decline in quality of food especially the take away pizzas together with the friendliness of the staff, real shame as was once the go to place. Frustrating still to not be able to pay via card. 2 stars.

Pizzeria Restaurant Chiaro di Luna is a charming establishment located in Soll that offers a diverse menu featuring pizza, pasta, and wraps. The selection of vegetarian pizza and spinach pasta is especially impressive. Additionally, their Turkish-style wraps are known for being generously sized and delicious. This venue also offers a variety of refreshing draught beers as well as hot beverages. Whether you choose to dine in or take away, the service is efficient and the prices are reasonable.
very good and tasty! friendly service.. highly recommended! 5 stars!

This restaurant served a purpose for us. We needed a quick bite to eat, ordered pizza which came quickly. Very good portion size and very tasty. Light touch service. No one else dining at the same time so it did lack atmosphere but that's fine for what we needed. Very good value. Takeaway also available. Some staff could converse in basic English which was helpful for us.

An absolute gem of a restaurant. Our favourite dinner place in Söll. Delightful family atmosphere and incredibly friendly service. The chocolate panna cotta was heavenly.

I ate lunch here with my family three days ago and had dinner today, both times the service was great and the food also. Very friendly staff and really good to children.

this place is absolutely amazing. from the food, to the employees, and the environment. This place isnt the most modern and amazing diner youll ever see but, its simply the way that they make you feel at home and make you feel like you belong to them. The treatment the portray is extremely excellent, along with the variety of foods that they serve. This is such a flamboyant place, and i recommend that you try it. It is amazing.

We have visited this restaurant twice and loved the food! The service was wonderful and it was a really relaxed environment, which is what we love when we eat out. We'd definitely recommend this to other visitors to Söll, especially the pizzas and pasta.

Had our first meal in Söll at Schullhaus and it didn’t disappoint! I had the cheeseburger, my husband ordered the Toscana chicken pasta, and we shared a side of onion rings. The food was delicious—especially the burger—and the portions were huge, definitely worth the price. The vibe of the restaurant was really nice and unique, and the staff were super friendly. We all finished off with the Black Forest ice cream, which was a lovely way to end the meal. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Söll!

Highly recommend coming here! The inside is super cozy, cool decor, great music, super friendly staff. I had the chicken pasta and it was very good, but after trying my husband's burger (the Wyoming burger) I wish I had gotten that! It was excellent. The fries were amazing too. Also recommend the onion rings! We tried the Nutella crepe, and it was good, but nothing special... wouldn't recommend. Overall, you won't be disappointed if you come here! Cash only.

The best burgers of Tirol! My favorite place to go when I am craving a burger ❤️
Andrea S — Google review
Some of the best burgers we've had! Really good size, brioche bun was wonderfully soft and fries were excellent. The nachos and onion ring starters were also very tasty. Staff were very friendly and place had a really good atmosphere. Service was a little slow, and the decor/music seemed to have a slight identify crisis (are they trying to be British or American?) but otherwise, would highly recommend!

Great place with stylish interior, superb service and great choices. Had a couple of burgers and enjoyed the friendly evening. Parking can be a bit challenging but is possible 3-5 minutes of walk in the village center for free.

The hotel features an inviting restaurant and a charming bar where you can unwind by the open fire, sipping on fine wines or indulging in delicious milkshakes. Live music adds to the ambiance every Tuesday evening throughout the year, and during winter months, Thursday nights come alive with tunes as well.
Great experience in the Hexenalm restaurant. Great food in nice place. Service was great and nothing was a problem. Speciál for me was a great Wiener schnitzel and Caesar salad. We had a few rounds of their snaps too and after payment received anothwr round for free.

(Translated by Google) I've been here a long time ago. I had hoped the quality hadn't changed. And I have to say: it's even improved! Fantastic presentation, even better service, and a level of attentiveness that's truly rare. The food was outstanding—in my opinion, the best schnitzel I've had in a while. The side dish of mushroom sauce was perfect, and they even packed up the leftovers. I don't know if I can praise this place any more highly, but it's definitely a definite recommendation!

Nestled in the heart of Söll, Dorf Stubn is a delightful eatery that captures the essence of Austrian cuisine. This charming restaurant has become a favorite among both locals and tourists for its warm atmosphere and friendly service. Guests rave about the authentic dishes, including hearty goulash soup and delicious grostl—a savory mix of bacon, onions, and potatoes that pairs perfectly with a refreshing Austrian beer.
This Australia cousin restaurant serves Top quality food with fair price. The atmosphere and decoration is rustic and welcoming. We really enjoyed the dinner (mixed grill for two) we had here and would recommend this restaurant if you are going to try Austrian food in Soll.

We spent a number of enjoyable evenings here, dining and drinking in this busy restaurant and bar. A wide choice and variety of food, which was always well cooked, plentiful and the service friendly helpful.
Jeff S — Google review
Food actually so tasty but the quantity is not much , and the service the guy with mustache not so friendly the other one so much friendly
Alradi A — Google review
Booked a table here for dinner one evening, staff seemed quite busy but were still friendly. Nice atmosphere inside, quite cosy. There were 9 of us and they did a good job bringing the food out close together. The food was OK, not bad but we have had better elsewhere in Söll.
Chrisy P — Google review
The atmosphere is really good and the staff is friendly. But the food: Not so much. I had a "Grillteller" (mixed Grill) which was listed as a Chef's specialty. However: The meat wasn't warm and it was dry and chewy. So if this is a Chef's specialty, it doesn't promise anything good for the rest. However, it must be said that the red sauce that came with it was really good Salsa. As desert I ordered "Cheesecake with fruit". Well. There was fruit, but it really wasn't more than a bit of garnish. There is literally more fruit on a cocktail in the "Schulhaus" restaurant nearby. The cheesecake itself was more like a vanilla custard than an actual cheesecake.
André B — Google review
Absolutely amazing food and service, we were seated regardless they were busy and we didnt have a reservation, waiting time with glass of wine, they care about you while you wait for the table. The best restaurant in Söll. Thanks
Ľubica M — Google review
Rude waitress, rushing around no customer service or manors. Ordered the sirloin and fillet steak medium, both came over cooked and the fillet was not a fillet cut and it was extremely tough. The sirloin looked more like pork. Attempted to call over the waitress over to our table to alert her how bad the food was, she ignored us, until 30mins later came to clear our plates and did not like our complaint. She offered us another steak, 30minutes later I did not want this. The bill came with both steaks on it, I asked for at least the fillet to be taken off, the waitress argued with me at our table in front of all the other customers. She refused to remove the steak and said ‘she had tried it herself’ yuk who eats a customers food they have returned!! The manager was called over to the table she also created a big scene, the whole experience was embarrassing. Eventually they removed the fillet steak off the bill. Such a shame as the restaurant is very traditional Austrian looking and has a cosy atmosphere just ruined by rude staff and rubbish cuts of beef at 39€ you would expect a real fillet steak!! Söll doesn’t have many restaurants but I would AVOID this one if visiting anytime soon.
Rachael M — Google review
Great Food - Wonderful Staff I have been to Soll 3 times now and the Dorf Stubn is by far my favourite place to eat. The food is fantastic with a large variety of dishes and some great Austrian classics - the roast venison was particularly good. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for an authentic Austrian meal with bags of charm.

Nestled in the stunning Tyrolean mountains, Hotel Restaurant Hexenalm Söll offers a cozy alpine atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. This charming hotel is conveniently located just below the valley station of the Söll cable cars, making it an ideal base for skiing enthusiasts. Guests can unwind in the wellness area while children enjoy dedicated play spaces and activities. The on-site restaurant serves hearty Austrian cuisine with generous portions, perfect for refueling after a day on the slopes.
We had a wonderful evening enjoying the live music of a traditional Austrian band in the restaurant. The food was good, and the atmosphere lively. A reservation is definitely necessary, as it gets quite crowded. Although we had our own table, we ended up sharing it with others who were there just for drinks, which made the space feel a bit cramped. Overall, a fun experience!

Such an charming traditional rustic style restaurant with top quality food. We really enjoyed having our Valentine’s dinner at this beautiful restaurant. The service was perfect and the staff were so nice and friendly. This restaurant belongs to a hotel which has two different restaurants, we were in the rustic restaurant which has music and nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it.

Hotel true to the Tyrolean style decor and food wise. Fantastic saunas. Went during the low season (shift from summer to autumn) and it was very good quality for the price.
Mia M — Google review
We reserved a table here for dinner one evening and although we had asked if there was space in the quiet part, when we arrived we were seated in the section with the DJ. This was a little frustrating as talking to each other was difficult, but we knew we probably wouldn't find space for dinner elsewhere without a reservation. Luckily the DJ stopped at 8pm and the music was much quieter. Otherwise the food was as you'd expect for Austria, big portion sizes and everyone enjoyed their meal. Good value for money overall.

Nestled in one of the oldest buildings in Soll, Die Krummerei Restaurant und Dorfappartements has a rich history dating back to 1855 when it was established as a general store by Leonhard Oberhauser. In 2018, this charming space transformed into a delightful culinary haven that exudes an elegant living room vibe. The restaurant features a small shop offering homemade chocolates, jams, and carefully selected decorative items that pay homage to its roots.
Very friendly service. Our dog was taken care of. Toast with salad was perfect. I recommend!

Lovely looking restaurant, was seated promptly. Ordered drinks and then food. Drinks came down in good time but food was over half an hour late . We got two dishes and then another dish followed, a few minutes after that and another dish followed and another few minutes my dish and the final dish arrived. The first person had eaten there's by the time mine arrived. €11.50 for soup and no bread. They charged €3.80 for a bread basket even though they were late with the food. Not good preparation from the kitchen. This also happened with two other tables beside us. Food was very tasty from the rest of the table.
Leah E — Google review
I recently had a great dining experience at the Krummerei. The food was exceptional, particularly the vitello tonnato, which was perfectly balanced in flavor, and the Kalbsfilet, which was very tender and full of taste. The service was just as outstanding - attentive, friendly and professional, making the whole evening even more enjoyable.

We have several meals here. Food was absolutely fantastic. IVana who was there Waitress gave us some fantastic recommendations and was just a lovely human being. I would definitely recommend this place Do it
Charly E — Google review
Would absolutely not recommend! My food arrived, the chicken was pink. I politely told the lovely waitress, who had been serving us, who got her “boss”. This woman came over and immediately told me i was wrong and demanded to see, i showed her the pink chicken and she grabbed my arm to see it better. She then took the food, whilst talking about me to herself in her own language, as she left the table . I was never offered another menu or to order anything else, so sat there whilst the rest of my party ate, and felt very uncomfortable as she kept looking over and glaring at me. When my party asked for the bill, she made out that she was doing a nice gesture, by paying half towards the cost of my dish, after looking at the receipt she did not do this. The food was untouched other than the chicken, that was cut by the bone and I had not eaten any of it. I had to then find another restaurant to eat at by myself. The owner was rude and unapproachable from the get go, and blamed the undercooked chicken on me being “fussy”. Such a shame as i absolutely love the rest of söll, but some people certainly should not be in this profession, and be that inattentive and make customers feel that uncomfortable. Would not ever go again and would not recommend to any friends visiting söll.

Probably the best venue in Soll, for late drinks, and music. Pool table, two bars, live music. Steak restaurant upstairs I think. Not too expensive for a ski resort, though the happy hour/2 for 1 offers were not evident this time, in Feb.

This place is terrible. So badly managed & is not a true representation of an Irish bar. Lazy rude staff & a singer who shouts & curses at the audience. Definitely have never seen that in any Irish bar back home. Maybe a suggestion would be to have some one who is ACTUALLY checking & letting people in the door. Once you get in you are met with a very tall rude English man who keeps shouting full to capacity. There is an entire other section which is only open on "Match days" much bigger than the other section & would be easily managed.(certainly better than the smaller bar)I would say the excuse of "no staff" is purely because noone in their right mind would want to work there.

Great place to stay in Austria specially in Soll. When you wanted to fully relax in the surrounding of the nature all around. I love this place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Franzlhof. There were nine men staying in 4 rooms in our group for a winter sports holiday. The ski bus stops outside the hotel and runs every 30 minutes. The rooms were very well appointed with comfortable single beds and high quality finishes to all surfaces. All our rooms had balconies with lovely views to Hohe Salve and The Wilder Kaiser. Breakfast was of a high standard with excellent food and drinks. Cleaning of the room was considerate and reliable. The reception was very accommodating to our check in and out requirements, enabling baggage storage and use of showers outside normal check-in times. There was a free car park opposite the hotel. It was a six minute walk to the town centre. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu was reasonably priced. The spa garden was very welcome. The hotel responded quickly to our changing circumstances before our holiday and were understanding and helpful. I couldn't fault Hotel Franzlhof. Highly recommended.

Great campsite in walking distance to Söll and with a bus to the mountains (I think it's free if you are staying here). All set up for winter camping with fantastic facilities. More than we would usually like to pay but so cheap to do washing that it made

We stayed in the hotel of Franzlhof and absolutely loved it. The (family)room was very spacious and good. We had 4 perfect beds, and 2 balcony’s. All staff was very friendly, housekeeping good! Breakfast also great and very neat, decent offerings. Ski space and bus stops in front of the hotel. Saunagarten was extensive, lot of options to chill. Only thing for us as we were friends is the naked part which can be left out :’). Thank you for the perfect hospitality!

We stayed here for our hike in the mountains (we rented a spot to place our 2 tents on). Reasonable price (shower included) and friendly, helpfull workers. Definitly would recommend it!
Katrijn V — Google review
Bad breakfast and sauna garden shared with camping. Breakfast was very bad. Very little to choose from and the food was not replaced so the trays were empty by 9 am and although we complained everyday to the one and only waitress and also in the front desk of the hotel, they didn’t replace the food. Also, the other tables were with the leftovers from previous guests and not cleaned, quite unpleasant to see. The breakfast service is not of a 4 stars hotel but you still pay for that. Definitely will not return and do not recommend this hotel. Regarding the Saunagarden: small but decent sauna area but with one big problem. Although is a 4-star hotel this area is shared with the camping next to the hotel run also by the them so expect to find the sauna area quite crowded. It is not a quiet and peaceful site expected in a 4-star hotel since it is shared with guests not staying in the hotel.

First time staying here and it was excellent, the room was a good size and spotless, staff / owners all very friendly and the ski bus starts right out side the hotel
James B — Google review
In full season, without o prior reservation, we were given a perfect pitch with shade. The camping has a restaurant, a playground, a mini-golf field, a sauna and a swimming-pool. The bathrooms and sanitary facilities are clean. We thank again the lovely receptionist, who made our stay here perfect! You can even order fresh bread and milk from the ecologic farm the family runs. We have been here last year and we will definitely come back again! The camping is a 3-minute ride away by bus (you take the bus next to the Eurospar) from the Hexenwasser and even closer to the lake Ahorn, that we have discovered by chance and it is a must see sight if you visit the area. Also, there are wonderful bike trails and routes for MB in the area. We recommend the one towards Scheffau. The stay in the camping Franzlhof was the highlight of our holiday so far.

Jausenstation Oberhausberg in Soll is a charming spot to relax and soak in the rustic atmosphere of the Tyrolean mountain landscape. The warm hospitality adds to the experience, while their diverse selection of traditional dishes and refreshing drinks caters to every taste. Whether it's for a post-ski beer or a satisfying meal after a hike, this cozy establishment offers an inviting respite from outdoor activities.
It's a great place to stop in for a few pints on the last run of the day off the mountain. We've been doing that every winter ski holiday for about 15 years. Funny only just found out the name of the place is Jausenstation Oberhausberg, we call it "The Zipfer bar" because of the beer sign hanging outside 😉

I frequented Ristorante Giovanni three times last week due to the exceptional quality of their food. The waitresses, whose names I am unsure of, were incredibly welcoming and accommodated our large group of 11 adults with great care. They were attentive and showed a remarkable ability to recall previous orders and preferences.
Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und es gab ohne Reservierung einen Tisch für 2 Personen an einem Samstagabend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen sind ausreichend groß. Man wird auf jeden Fall satt. Das Essen ist schnell gekommen (Translated by Google) The service was very friendly and there was a table for two people without a reservation on a Saturday evening. The most worse services we have ever had, the waiters weren't nice at all. There almost where aggressive. And when we where asking for a drink we got shoutet out. The food was okay only the pizza's where really fat. if you want to have a nice dinner I won't recommend this place. Just bad people.
Rick K — Google review
Very good food. But we waited for more than 50 minutes at the door. We reserved a table for only 2 persons, but we never get it. Didn't even offered us a drink, for the long waiting at the door. Owner got really agressive and waitress got very emotional. It's a very dissapointing service level for this price.

It was a very nice setting and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered the Carbonara “ohne Sahne” as i was excited to see it would be done right, but sadly ended up with noodles with scrambled eggs and some speck. When we asked the waitress if something was wrong, she said this is the original Carbonara, which is questionable as the goal is not to end up with scrambled eggs and noodles. I think the menu could be improved to call it House Carbonara as I did see this picture is consistent with what is online. If this is how you want to make it, that’s fine, but to me this is not Carbonara but Schinken Nudeln.

Went here 3 times last week as food was so good. Waitress x 2 females- sorry not sure of their names were so welcoming and tried to fit in our large group of 11 hungry adults. They were very attentive and remembered certain things we had previously ordered or what we did or didn’t like. Between us we tried most of the food on the menu! The cheese garlic bread was yummy- the arribiatta had the perfect spice mix- lasagne and calzone were so tasty. Salad was fresh and crispy. The pizza’s were very good 😊 The house wine 🍷 served in a carif was smooth and accompanied the meal perfectly- as did the pomegranate spritz. Well done and thank you for such wonderful food. See you next year 👌

The food was ok but the waiter was rude. When we were asked for drinks, we asked for the menu. The menu didn't include the wines, we asked for the wine menu. This time we were given only one menu. Maybe he wasn't having a good day but if it wasn't late and we weren't hungry we would definitely leave the place. There are better restaurants in the town.

Exzellent ! (Translated by Google) Excellent! Were here for dinner on June 28, 2022. In addition to a beautiful ambience, we enjoyed the Mama Mia pizza here (which is really highly recommended). 🍕 The two waitresses were friendly and on the ball, so they managed the entire, busy restaurant together. But be careful! Contrary to other information, Wednesday AND THURSDAY are rest days. Payment is also only possible in cash and there is no WiFi > people just talk to each other here. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) We were here for the second time and were thrilled again. Tennenwirt Restaurant & Bar is a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Soll, offering an inviting atmosphere perfect for a memorable dining experience. With its beautifully decorated interior, it’s an ideal spot to unwind after a day of skiing or hiking. The menu features creative dishes, including a standout risotto with herbs and tomatoes, although more vegan options would enhance the selection. Guests rave about the attentive service provided by friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure your comfort.
Wonderful restaurant in the heart of Söll. The interior is beautifully decorated. Perfect for sitting down and having a nice dinner. There was one vegan option available. The served a wonderful risotto with herbs and tomatoes. (Sadly the chef won’t share their secret 🤫) Only improvement would be if there were one or two more vegan dishes. 🌱 Service was friendly and attentive. I do recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for fine dining, creative, vegan and/or locally sourced food. It gets quite busy in the evenings so I would recommend you book a table in advance.
Kat K — Google review
We visited the Tennenwirt Restaurant & Bar as non-hotel guests and didn't have a particularly good time. The food was fair, roughly the same the same menu choice as other local restaurants and of a reasonable quality. The gentleman who served us spoiled our experience though, I think he was the restaurant manager. Upon arrival he looked down his nose at us and made us feel unwelcome, haughtily doubting the fact that we had a reservation at all, even though I had made the reservation several weeks beforehand. We all immediately felt ill at ease due to how he was treating our group of five guests. He was grumpy and lacked manners throughout our meal and then when we paid our bill at the end he counted the money we had given him to pay the bill in front of us, suggesting that he didn't trust us to pay the correct amount. As we were walking out we heard another couple asking the same man what they had done to upset him. What terrible service, I would recommend eating anywhere else in Soll than here and I personally would rather eat a cold pizza on the top of a garbage bin rather than return here.

Do not book in advance on booking.com. We paid crazy money for an ok room that dropped to half what we paid the day before arrival. Naively I failed to follow the "reserve, monitor, cancel, re-book" rule. Lesson learned.

This place has earned five stars. I would describe this restaurant as a very upscale and fine establishment with the price of a regular restaurant. You will definitely enjoy your time here.

Usually my favourite restaurant in Söll so had booked a table for 7 of us to have a filet steak as a treat on our last night, the day before the reservation we phoned and requested to change the time of our table to 2 hours earlier, we were told this would be no problem. Upon arrival we were told our table was still booked at the original time, when we informed the waiter that we had called and changed the time he replied that he had no idea why it wasn't changed but we had no chance of a table until our original time, when we complained about it he then became annoyed and slammed the reservation book shut and said it's 18.30 or nothing. No apology, just take it or leave it. We left it. I understand that mistakes happen but the attitude of the young waiter was unacceptable. Very disappointing.

We've been coming here for years when skiing above Scheffau. It's consistently great. Well run, friendly staff, good food, fair pricing, beautiful interior and the most wonderful position just to the side of the piste overlooking the mountains. Today's star at Tanzbodenalm is the friendly waitress from Romania who spoke fluent English and German. Quite frankly this part of the Ski Welt arena is superb with well groomed pistes, modern lift systems and lovely mountain restaurants. When the Tyroleans decide to do it right, they get it spot on. Well done Tanzbodenalm Bergrestaurant. We will continue visiting as a family, hopefully for many years to come.

Very busy restaurant! Visited almost every day of our skiing holiday as it was within walking distance of the gondola station for those who didn’t ski. Once you do find a table, which you quite often have to share, service is friendly but rushed (understandably given how busy it is). Quite a wide selection of food available but quite expensive. Great option to have lunch with amazing views at weltski station. You can access using a telecabing. The restaurant itself is big and has a big terrace with a great view. One of the special things is that it has an indoor seating area that moves around very slowly and offers great views that obviously keep changing. You dont feel the movement at all. In terms of food everything was great and high quality. As a starter we got a potato that came with some white sauce and bacon, it was truly amazing, really recommend it. We also tried a soup and the snitchzel and it was all really tasty, also very recommended. The service was relatively good and the atmosphere was great, full of people but nothing too crazy, we waited 5 mins to get a table at 1pm.

Absolutely worth the long journey up. Perched atop Hohe Salve, this restaurant unfolds breathtaking views of the Austrian mountains. Enjoy a delightful meal indoors or outdoors, while soaking up the sunshine. 🚠⛷️ PLEASE READ THIS: only accessible by cable car (Gondelbahn 42). If you want to head back to Scheffau, Elmau etc, your best chance is the Black Slope #2C going down. But boy be prepared! Then take #2 Kälbersalvenbahn). Don’t leave it up to the last minute!! We left at 2.30pm and missed the last lift at 4.30pm because the ski map and signs are confusing and not clearly marked. We got stuck trying to find the blue slope #65a. 🙈 🔥What’s unique: Seeking superior service and added comfort? Venture through the back door to discover a snug seating area adorned with sheepskin. 🏡Vibe: The main terrace offers self-service, complemented by an expansive indoor seating area. 🍲Menu: Embrace the rich tradition of Austrian cuisine, where vegetarian options come generously adorned with cheese or butter, creating a hearty, flavorful experience. While vegan choices are not on the menu, the atmosphere makes it a culinary journey worth savoring. 💳Payment: Conveniently, card payments are accepted. 😋Taste: Indulged in the pressed-cheese dumplings with salad (also available with soup) and gluten-containing spinach dumplings. Exquisite flavors, though the robust essence of butter and cheese may be intense for those unaccustomed to dairy. Consider skipping it if you prefer a milder taste. 🙋‍♀️Service: Prompt and efficient service adds to the dining experience. 💶Prices: Remarkably affordable, making this culinary journey a delightful and budget-friendly escape. Dumplings 10.50-12.40€, salad 14.80-16.80€, soup 7.50€ Suggestions to management: adding dairy free/vegan options to the menu would be amazing 🤩 January 2024 If you find this feedback useful, please click the helpful button so I can add similar content in future reviews.

Gasthof Stöcklalm in SÖLL/TIROL is a charming mountain chalet that offers comfortable apartments and features a rustic bar and restaurant with cozy stone snugs. Located in Hochsoll near the Hexenwasser, it provides lovely views of the Hohe Salve from its terrace. The restaurant also offers attractions for kids nearby. While the food may be slightly pricier than other restaurants, many find the prices reasonable given the tasty dishes served.
We can only recommend the Stöcklalm restaurant for a stop while skiing. We were there with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet at noon at 13:30. The food was ok - we ate Kaiserschmarren, Fritatten soup and spinach dumplings. To drink, there was Spezi and ski water. The service was very friendly. The only thing was that you could only pay in cash. Since there is an ATM at the entrance, this is not a problem. The toilets were also ok and clean. The prices for the food are certainly a bit more expensive, but you're in a hut, so that's ok. Funny: there was a monitor in the room that showed, among other things, the Am Vieh theatre, which is part of the hotel and restaurant. We saw cows in the barn or a sow around which the piglets were cuddling. From the restaurant you can go straight back to the slopes - either you go down the valley or you get on one of the chairlifts and the "Hans im Glück" lift. P.S.: #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet enjoyed the Kaiserschmarren!

Lovely place, but visited during night skiing and the music was so extremely loud and distorted it hurt your ears, no idea how people could stay inside that bar. Either the DJ was pushing the sound system too hard or the speakers are broken 🤦‍♂️

Stressed waiters, food rather mediocre and really expensive (granted, the kids menus were good and ok-ish in terms of price). Too many people for the poor three dudes who had no time and seemed rather stressed out, also with respect to their mood. Sorry to say, cannot really recommend.

We recently had lunch here during our ski trip. The food was alright, though the prices were really high and the service was very unfriendly. Unfortunately, wouldn’t do it again.

After waiting for 15 minutes without a single waiter looking at us, we finally got the attention of one. He threw our menus on the table and very rudely told us to wait even longer. Obviously, we left and they didn’t even notice. Rediculous.

Lovely restaurant in Hochsöll near the Hexenwasser. As far as I know, there are also rooms to stay overnight, but so far, I haven't used these. However, from the terrace, you have a nice view on the Hohe Salve, and only a few meters away, there are also attractions for kids, that can be observed from the restaurant. The food is tasty, but maybe a bit pricier than in other restaurants. I still think the prices are reasonable, though. The service has also always been great and friendly. All in all I can only recommend this place as a restaurant, since it is by far my favourite in Hochsöll.

In a relaxed mountainside hotel, guests can find comfortable and simple accommodations with communal bathrooms. The cozy restaurant and bar provide a pleasant dining experience, offering delicious meals that vary each day. Friendly owners ensure prompt service even during busy times, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Conveniently situated near the slopes and ski school, guests can easily access their activities without hassle. The only downside is that transportation of luggage may require the use of a gondola or car.
Very nice restaurant. Fast service and very good food. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Also a big kids menu. Playground right nice door

Did not stay here. Went to have a drink at the restaurant outside when skiing. The waiter was so rude to me. He did not give me my change. He took about 20% of the money that I gave. When I asked if I could get a beer in a glass, he said no. This while all other customers are being served glasses with beer. Would not recommend.

We had lunch here, which was ok. But never been treated so bad by a waitress anywhere. The blind old lady with tattoos and piercings. She wouldn't talk English, said that it's not done not speaking German (if she goes to Italy, she also speaks Italian?!), and where mocked because the water sandals of out kinds were on the table (rolled in a towel!). Never experienced anything like this. Hexenwasser is beautiful, but please go to the other alm...

We had a wonderful week at Alpengasthof Hochsöll. Cozy room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was not very extensive, but delicious. Dinner was different every day and delicious every day! Also ate here during lunch, also very tasty! Friendly owners, despite the restaurant was crowded on arrival we were helped quickly. Perfect location on the slopes and in front of the ski school, so we didn't have to rush in the morning. The only drawback is that you have to take the luggage up in the gondola if you don't want to drive up by car, but we knew this in advance. We will definitely come back here.

Good location in the ski resort, often busy, so you may want to get here early to grab a table. Good selection of food and all tasty, a bit more variety than other places on the mountain. Decent selection of drinks too. If you are on the waited tables, it can be a little slow getting served and getting the bill at the end. Otherwise, a good spot for lunch

Absolutely horrible experience with the cashier. She was very arrogant and unpleasant. An elderly lady who clearly has a problem working with tourists from abroad. This is the first time we have encountered such an attitude in Austria. The rest of the staff was very nice, so we are sorry about this experience.

Great location in the middle of ski resort. Great place to have lunch and take a break after you have been skiing all morning. Moderate prices, large variety of dishes. You can find here also five or six types of kids menu. The staff is very helpful and very kind. Fast service.

Nestled in the heart of Soll am Wilden Kaiser, Hotel - Restaurant Feldwebel is a charming chalet-style retreat that has been welcoming guests for over 500 years. With its airy rooms and suites, this hotel offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The restaurant exudes an authentic Austrian vibe, where you can indulge in delightful local dishes amidst a warm and inviting setting.
Loved this hotel. Good location right in the centre of Soll. Very large comfortable room, with a modern bathroom but above the bath shower (not the best). The toilet and bathroom were separate. We had no inter room noise at all. The breakfast was great with lots of fresh fruit. Would gladly return.

My friends and I recently had the misfortune of visiting the hotel bar at this establishment, and let me tell you, it was an experience we'll never forget - and not in a good way. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were made to feel like unwelcome outsiders. The staff, adorned in traditional dress, immediately eyed us up and down with disdain. When we tried to pay for our drinks with a card, the woman behind the bar scoffed and informed us that they only accepted cash, "just like we do back home." Meanwhile, the locals were able to breeze through, swiping their cards without a second thought. The cherry on top of this already unpleasant sundae came when the same woman server leaned in and whispered, "You shouldn't have come to our country if you can't respect our ways." Needless to say, we were taken aback by the sheer audacity and blatant racism of her statement. I understand that different cultures have different customs, but when those customs are used as a means to discriminate and make guests feel unwelcome, that's a problem. This hotel bar needs to take a long, hard look at its policies and the way its staff treats visitors from other countries. Save yourself the hassle and the heartache, and find a more welcoming establishment to spend your hard-earned money at. This place is a disgrace to the hospitality industry.

We got perfect service and very loving welcoming from the lady in the restaurant. Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but she deserves to be remembered!! They were flexible to our celiac gluten free need and were amazing. Thank you!

Went to the restaurant tonight. Worst service we ever had. I am a French canadien and I am used to tip 15%. I think the server thinks I am French (from France) so that I won’t tip because the service was such a disaster. We asked for the wine card, the server refuse and named everything without giving prices (?!). When we finished eating, the empty plates and glasses were still on the table after 20 min waiting for the bill. We wanted to take a desert but with that service, no way. We went inside to pay, and the server makes us pay as if everything was ok, and just with a bad attitude when he say I didn’t let him any tip 😂! And by the way, good was very ordinary.

A very nice hotel very busy pity the hotel menu for guests wasn't the same as they sold to people who weren't staying. The wellbeing area was excellent. The only negative was that they need to explain to their British and Irish guest about not wearing clothes in the sauna as this is not very well explained.
Garry B — Google review
We arrived as a party of 4 people, after a early morning start. On arrival we asked for some refreshments, myself asked for a glass of wine, I was told that they had no glasses, but would have to get half bottle. I agreed, with a cheese platter. I paid the bill and was 59 euros. Room was very dated but clean. Breakfast was good with a very good service. Food was ok, but the main service was for the al a cart at the front of the hotel, we were placed at the back. Our waitress was very pleasant in traditional dress. We had to pay 5 euros for a small carafe of water each evening with our meal. We purchased some drinks for our room, as there was no cooler, we asked for a glass of ice which was refused as we had not purchased a drink at the bar. Overall I think this hotel needs to address some friendliness to its paying customer. The bar near the hotel was lovely and friendly. I vwould go to this resort again but sadly not this hotel. This is the first time ever I have ever commented on my accommodation. I am waiting for a response because any other comments have not been not good 😐

The staff at Moonlight Bar is extremely welcoming. The venue comes alive at 4pm for apres ski, creating a lively atmosphere. It is recommended to try their 3L beer priced at 27.50 and their cheese burger, which offers great value. The bar itself is housed in an impressive wooden building and offers a quality apres ski vibe. "Depp Depp Depp Johnny Depp Depp Johnny Johnny Depp" That should be all you need to know about this place. Europop cheese and great atmosphere. The best apres-ski in söll. Pubs in the actual town favour more traditional almost English entertainment. If you want genuine apres-ski feels, head here. It's up the mountain above the gondola which makes walking up the hill after dropping your gear at the ski garage a chore but it's worth it.

Lovely people and a great location. Inside there is enough room for a full day and outside as well. It is easy to find while skiing and easy to take off again after you've eaten. Been here a few times to have a coffee break and to have lunch on vacation. The prices are very reasonable and orders get made fairly quickly.

The area is very nice, and we honestly didn't know what to do next in the following two days. But this restaurant helped us with altered food. We took a well deserved break from all the visiting, and spend the next 36 hours running to/from bed to bathroom. Truth be told, the scenery was wonderful. The service was so-so; nothing to write home about, but then again, nothing wrong.

Got food poisoned, the kid was the worse hit by it. Do not recommend even if the surroundings are splendid Later edit: we ate here on 29.08, around 13.00-14.00 and in the evening the child started bot not feel ok and then in the night she went to the toilet i think about 15 times. Maybe instead of saying without doing any checks that i am cheeky, maybe you should do some checks and see the facts. I am a very unhappy customer, that went on holiday and then spent most of the night in the bathroom with my child. So i think you should learn more about customer satisfaction and treating your clients accordingly

Having spotted the reviews for this place, we were determined to eat here at least once during our week in Soll. In the end it was so good, we went 3 times! First for a glass of wine and tapas, second for dinner (delish garlic and mozzarella dumplings) and third for a beer and crostini. It's super relaxed... You can pop in for a coffee and cake, a wine/beer and tapas or a full dinner. No pressure! On each visit we found great food, drink, environment (cute shop selling culinary delights and homeware) and the team were just lovely. Can't wait to return to Soll so we can eat/drink here again!

Very lovely couple running the place with a great team dedicated to do their best in creating an unforgettable experience. Beautiful location and lots of programmes to do, which they can help you to organize. We were here not just in winter time but in summer embracing sunny Tirol with lots of biking, crystal clear mountain lake baths, and hiking. They just opened a new restaurant with a superb menu, worth to try for the food as well.

AnDa's Konditorei-Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem in Soll that beautifully blends Austrian and Italian cuisine. With an impressive menu featuring unique dishes, it stands out among local eateries. Guests rave about the friendly service and the warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The homemade cakes and sweets are particularly noteworthy, making it a perfect spot for lunch, dinner, or just a sweet treat with drinks.
We visited here as a group of five on our final night in Soll. The choice of food on the menu was excellent with many different and interesting choices compared to other eateries in town. The service was friendly and helpful and the quality of the food was amazing. We all enjoyed our experience very much and agreed it was by far the best food we had eaten during our 5 nights in Soll. Congratulations to everyone involved with the restaurant, you are doing a fantastic job.

Great food! Ate here twice already, one of the best restaurants in the area. Lovely spaghetti with grilled vegetables and burrata on top, very tasty and finally a good portion of vegetables in a restaurant in Austria. The other day I had a vegetarian salad, and my table buddy had spaghetti with salmon, both very well made! Highly recommend this place!!

What a lovely new restaurant in Soll!!! A beautiful mix of Austrian and Italian food with service and atmosphere that make you feel like home. Their homemade cakes and sweets are absolutely delicious! Totally recommend for lunch, dinner, or just some ice cream and a drink... You won't be disappointed!

It took 45 minutes for our food to be served which was so long and disappointing, and we even didn’t receive the food we ordered, but we didn’t complain as we had been waiting for long time and we were so hungry and didn’t want to wait for another 45 minutes to get the correct item. They didn’t even say sorry for this long wait and mess. The food quality wasn’t bad. I don’t recommend this place at all.

(Translated by Google) Very original alpine pasture, finely and comfortably run by locals, an insider tip away from the crowds, so to speak. The hut, which is located somewhat out of the way, invites you to linger for a longer period of time due to its quiet surroundings and is therefore perfect for relaxing. For the most part, products from our own production are processed. High quality cuisine with a small but fine changing menu. On our final evening, we decided to dine at La Piazza Schindlhaus Ristorante Pizzeria, a beloved spot for families that offers much more than your typical pizza joint. This charming restaurant surprised us with its exceptional quality and attention to detail. The atmosphere was inviting, enhanced by contemporary decor and thoughtful touches like crystal water glasses. Despite being fully booked, the friendly staff welcomed us warmly without a reservation and provided efficient service throughout our meal.
We received a warm welcome when we arrived without a reservation. Service was friendly and efficient, and the pizzas are the best in Soll! The decor is contemporary and relaxing, and little touches such as crystal water glasses and soft drinks served in carafes added to the experience. It’s tucked away in a courtyard, so look out for the sign! Would recommend.

An amazing resturant, very surprising and unexpected. Especially compared to a few others we been to at Soll before this one and all were with good 4.5 and up grades in google. Everything we tried was great, so tasty and well prepared and nicely served. You could see there is attention to details. Nicely decorated resturant and very good atmosphere. I really recommend it. In addition... One main annoying thing which is common in Soll, but not in any other ski resort i have been to, in Austria too, is that everyone wants Cash only, and dont accept cards, apple pay, google pay, etc... But, this resturant surprised us again by accepting all types of pay, by mobile too...and for that full 5* ☺️💪👍🙏
Yehuda B — Google review
We arrived at 8:10. no one warned us that we are gonna wait for a whole hour. There was a big table of 20+ people that ordered just before we did and no one told us. If we had known this before we wouldn’t eat here. Food was pretty good.

Everything was great - the place, the service and of course the food!
Moshe M — Google review
The food was very good the service though was bad and unrespectful. Because there was a misunderstanding with the reservation we've reservated a restaurant with the same name and they either way told us we can dine in because both of us thaught we were in the right place. After that we ate around one and a half hour they said we have to pay and can't stay anymore and said next time we should take more care with the reservation and that it was our fault even though they told us we can dine in and checked the email of the confirmation of the reservation. Therefore is the staff mainly the owner unrespectful and accused us as our fault that the people who had to sit at our table had to wait for another table

Really nice restaurant with a lot of kids stuff to play on terrace such as tractors and trampolines. Food is of good quality and reasonable priced. Toilet is clean. In this restaurant you can get the crown after doing the hike and collected the stamps. Recommended: eierschwarmm suppe

Overpriced food which is not worth it. 60 cents for mayo or ketchup with super mediocre fries is downright a scam. Staff is not allowed to give tap water even when you buy a couple other drinks, thus couldn't fill my bottle for on the way.
