We recently dined at Le Schuss, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. We ordered two slabs of beef and a potato tartiflette, and given the price, we expected a lot more in terms of quality. One of the beef slabs was extremely chewy, making it difficult to enjoy. The chips that accompanied the dish were also a letdown—they seemed like they had been reheated multiple times, lacking the crispiness and freshness you would expect. The potato tartiflette was decent but didn't quite make up for the overall disappointment we felt with the meal. Given the typical mountain prices, we were expecting a higher standard of food. Unfortunately, Le Schuss did not meet those expectations, leaving us feeling like we didn't get good value for our money. (For example, the access to the ski locker area is very tired) However, after 2 years of Covid restrictions I don’t imagine there is the budget for this. The bartender was lovely but there were issues with supplies of certain drinks on the carte. For first-timers, better directions for accessing the hotel part of the building complex would be good.
