Tapas restaurant
Bar La Tasca de Ana is a lively and rustic spot in Jaca, known for its extensive menu of tapas, pintxos, and Spanish wines. The restaurant offers modernly presented tapas without compromising on quality, featuring imaginative dishes at reasonable prices. In addition to the classic rodolfitos that are a must-try, the place also serves simple yet well-prepared dishes focused on high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is pleasant, with the option to sit outside during summer.
Fabulous experience. Wasn’t sure what to order but we were recommended tapas and all of which exceeded our expectations. Our favourite was the liver and onions, followed closely by the artichoke and garlic, but hard to say which was our favourite. Cannot say enough good things about this place. PS photos do not show all our tapas because we ate them first!
Estella T — Google review
The BEST! We thought we'd have to wait for a table, but when we went inside to get a drink, we just stood at the bar and could order tapas and eat it there. Very busy, but service at the bar was excellent and fun. You must try the rodolfito! Very good food and well priced. If you're in Jaca, this is the place. We did have lunch at a different bar, but it was nowhere near as good.
Nigel B — Google review
Celiacs beware!! Their gluten free menu has no prices. Ask before you order. €18:40 for two mini plates of "huevos rotos con jamón" Never again!
Kevin C — Google review
Wonderful little tapas bar. Felt lucky to get a table as none were left just a few minutes after we arrived (around 19:30 on a Sunday in October). Great variety of tasty dishes. Very friendly & efficient staff and a really nice atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more.
Robin R — Google review
Great bar for coming with family or friends and enjoy the evening! The atmosphere is great, dynamic and authentic ☺️ Ordering a wine or a beer with some pintxos is enough, but having a great experience includes having dinner here . We took as starter Croquetas de Jamón, Artichokes and Fried Shrimp with a delicious sauce. After, following the waiter recommendation, we order duck wings and pork with Boletus sauce. We had to order twice the shrimps as they were amazingly good!😍
Celia F — Google review
Great authentic place, a lot of local people coming to eat or just have a tapas here. Quite big variety of tapas, but you can't imagine how good they are. Quality of the food and price is in a really good balance
Asel D — Google review
We arrived as the bar opened and people were already waiting for a table. Very quickly all of the tables were gone and people were queuing. Fabulous tapas bar, amazing food and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend a visit
Susan B — Google review
The best Spanish food I've ever had! I always come here when I'm in Jaca, even multiple times on the same trip. Highly recommend! There is often a queue outside before it open so be aware to avoid disappointment.

Excellent. It was busy and they found us a table. The waiter was helpful and efficient. We had an excellent bottle of wine that was local. The prawns were first class and I loved the grilled baby onions. The pork was delicious. The place had a real buzz to it and we were not hurried. The biggest surprise was the bill. I felt we had a lot for the money. Classy place

Beautiful view, cozy and tranquil atmosphere with delicious food and warm staff. The food quantity is big and extremely satisfying. Booking is a must.

Called in at lunchtime to book for the evening writing down the 7.30pm time we wished to dine to avoid confusion due to language barrier. We only realised later, when we turned up to find them closed, why the waitresses were laughing inappropriately as we were leaving - appalling treatment! Totally unnecessary and unfriendly. Shame on them.
Belinda V — Google review
Loved it!!! The wine was amazing, that's a fact. We had the menu del dia, the spinach rolls with goat cheese were amazing. Melted right in my mouth. The main course was very good as well. Meat was well cooked and tender, sauce and wine accompanied it very well. The dessert was delicious too, it was not too sweet and not too sour either. I give 5 stars for the view on the terrace and the excellent food. The portion sizes were just right as well. Excellent service and food! Kind regards Arne
Arne B — Google review
Dishes were too elaborated and the taste was not following it. Overall okay, I would expect more for the price.

Dropped in here for lunch. You enter by a deserted bar, the dinning room is along the passage on the left. The food was good value for money. I will definitely come again.

Amazing place. Waitress went above and beyond helpful despite the language barrier. The food was INCREDIBLE, every dish we had. 3 courses each (2 people) and comes with a bottle of wine, plus 4 soft drinks, came to €35 😲 Will be returning soon.

Classic case of poor reviews and one staff member (?) spoiling a perfectly good restaurant. I had a lovely young lady serving me and a superb menu del día at eur21 50. The other staff member (boss? ) smoking nearby, glaring at customers and sitting with friends (and lovely dog). Bottom line food and my service brilliant!

Restaurante La Cadiera offers a cozy setting where you can savor robust steaks and casseroles typical of the Pyrenees. Since 1994, Fran y Ana have established this establishment as a reference for mountain cuisine, blending traditional methods with constant innovation in creating new dishes. The menu features traditional "picoteo" options such as tapas, skewers, stews, and toasts alongside à la carte offerings.
Quite an enjoyable experience here! The place is rather busy (or maybe we came at such an hour), but the service is fast. The food is tasty, the staff are friendly! It is also clean. We learnt about it from a local.
Anya N — Google review
Fantastic restaurant. Hearty local food and incredibly good value. You can choose smaller plates or the set menu, which I had, during the evening. Friendly efficient service and amazing food. And everything came out hot which is sometimes lacking in Spain. The stew was piping hot, the steak came sizzling on the plate and was perfectly cooked. Even the coffee was piping hot. Ten out of ten for food, service and value.
Adam D — Google review
Excellent experience of regional food in an austere ambiance, served by it's owner. Reasonable prices and extra tasty food. Thank you to our waiter, Eric, for such a familiar service. We'll be back!

Jaca is about halfway between Madiran, France, where we had been staying, and Zaragoza, Spain, where we were headed. On the advice of a friend, we stopped for a great, inexpensive lunch. Nice people and good food.

Fun traditional aragoneses joint. Delicious food and lovely service. Reserve or show up early as it gets tremendously busy.
Marina R — Google review
Impossible to get a table if you are not a local. We have tried on numerous occasions to book in advance or even walk in but the staff are rude and cold and will not even attempt to check if they have space if they see you are a tourist "No no no totalmente lleno, imposible". It's a shame because my partner and I have been visiting Jaca for years and have a very fond memory in the restaurant.
Emma T — Google review
Didn't order bread but got it anyway while waiting for the main course so we though it was free. While we were eating they refilled the bread and yes we ate it too. When it was time to pay, it turned out that the bread were not free. It didn't cost much but still we didn't order it so it felt like we got tricked. We paid 52€ for 1kg of meat with bone with a little bit of potatoes chips, 1 water, 1 beer and of course bread that we didn't order. The meat was good though.

(Translated by Google) Very good. The menu may be a little expensive but the dishes are very elaborate and exquisite so the excess price is gladly paid for. The menu price on a weekday is 17.50. Of course, (expensive) drinks aside, if it's not water. The wild boar stew is highly recommended, don't miss it. It is worth paying a little more to taste such an elaborate and exquisite menu. (Original) Muy bueno.

(Translated by Google) Eggplant chips, fettuccine with vegetables and tomato and cauliflower and broccoli cocktail seasoned with pine nuts, lime and parmesan, very delicious and different food but always maintaining the Aragonese essence. The menu is €16 (starter+second+dessert) and there is a wide variety of dishes to choose from. For the main course, the casserole with zucchini and beet puree was very delicious. (Translated by Google) Although it tastes very good, the portions do NOT match its price. It should be noted that the place is VERY cozy. The almost charred Ternasco and that has a supplement. The staff was very friendly but the person who served us barely managed to smile. To think about it before returning, otherwise your wallet is full. They could adjust the price and offer at least one beer and/or house wine with the menu (1 bottle of water for 4 people).

(Translated by Google) On Friday, May 1, my husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner, thinking it was the best thing in Jaca. We wanted to treat ourselves, as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We ordered, without caring about the price, a portion of pan-fried clams and a second turbot. Well, the clams, which for the price could well have been from the street, were indecently small in size and also not at all fresh. I understand that since it was a holiday, they couldn't be from the day, but they were for several days and of terrible quality. They would have been better if they had told us they weren't left. Turbot, a real shame. It consisted of a mini fillet of a farmed mini turbot that, although it was not bad in taste, for the price, 28 euros each, it could well have been skewer turbot. In short, a scam. In total, we paid 103 euros, including the Rioja Crianza wine, but without desserts or coffee, for an indecent dinner for a supposedly upscale establishment. Terrible quality-price ratio and average atmosphere and service.

Restaurante Biarritz is a cozy venue with a terrace that offers daily menus featuring regional-style grilled meats and fish. While they also have an à la carte menu, the daily specials are highly recommended, including delicious options like migas, stone-grilled meats, and spectacular wonton pasta cannelloni with changing fillings. Located next to the Ciudadela de Jaca, this restaurant stands out for its traditional dishes and high-quality products, especially the grilled meats.
EXCELLENT VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN MENUS I had not expected a restaurant in a quiet corner of the Pyrenees to offer separate vegetarian and vegan menus. The burrito with vegetables and tofu was delicious, and the cheesecake dessert was artistically presented and wonderfully tasty. Then, with an unexpected flourish, the waiter brought out a sample of the local liqueur. On top of that, the Biarritz is ideally placed between the fort and the cathedral and it attracts a mixture of Spanish and foreign clients. A perfect finish to a long day.
Colin T — Google review
They do everything right here. From the service to the food they are a high class restaurant. The Daily Special includes a starter, main course, bread, wine and dessert. I had bean soup with sausage for a starter. The soup was good, but a little bland, could have used a little more spice. For a main I had steak and fries. Th steak was prepared well, but the sauce on it was a little sweet for me. For dessert I had Flan and it was delicious. Overall the food was good but not great. I would go here again.

Exceptional. One of the best restaurants I've ever! The menu extensive! The menu del dia was a bargain, included a great wine (not well know but excellent), water and bread, with so many choices for appetizers, mains and deserts. The food delivered faster than I've experienced, and perfectly executed! The service was another level... with personality and humor, and effective. They cooked the meat in the fireplace that warmed the dining room! And the location is ideal - across from the Ciudadela

Stuart D — Google review
Horrendous. Service was a great combination of both rude, bordering on open hostility, and incredibly slow. The food wasn't any better. The gambas/prawns were served plain and many were off, the albóndigas/meatballs were gristly and served in an awful sauce, the calamares/squid rings were soggy and chewy. I spent €77 and came away hungry. The setting is nice, at least. Still, I would avoid at all costs.

Nice location by the cathedral but they had one waiter for 20 tables and the service was just terrible. Steak for €19.50 wasn't that good ... with a very small portion of chips. I'd try and find somewhere else if you can.

Cobarcho is a sophisticated restaurant located in the heart of Jaca, offering a chic and modern dining experience. The comfortable and warmly decorated dining room sets the stage for savoring Aragonese mountain cuisine cooked in a wood oven and grill. The menu highlights meticulously prepared grilled meats and fish using high-quality ingredients. Guests can expect an upscale experience with an excellent wine selection to complement the flavorful dishes.
Not the best steak asked for medium. U der cooked good portions
Alan T — Google review
Upscale city center restaurant with Aragonese specialties. Great wine list (bottles), excellent flavors. Ribeye was 1 kg, so we split…plenty of food, saw it being prepared. For the €€ and aging was not as tender as we hoped, so slightly disappointed with that, but maybe that’s the regional way?
SouTex T — Google review
Easily the best service on trip so far in Spain, attentive, knowledgeable and upbeat. Maria, was the lead server, but had two assistants, they worked together seamlessly, never there when we didn't need them, always there when we did. We did the Prix Fixe menu with the beef option. All of the offerings were regionally inspired and the feeling was as if we'd been invited to a friend's home for the evening. Everything was delicious and prepared and presented perfectly. The atmosphere is lovely and it was just a fantastic experience. Thank you!

An amazing meal and great service. The grilled suckling pork belly and the sirloin were both very special.
Melissa B — Google review
Extremely Disappointing Experience We had high hopes for this restaurant, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. From the moment we received our food, it was clear that this place is nothing more than a trap. The dishes arrived lukewarm, and the service was subpar at best. The chuletón was a major disappointment—mediocre in quality, lacking flavor, and terribly overpriced. To make matters worse, there was no black pepper or any seasoning to enhance the taste. Even the fries came without ketchup, which was the final straw. This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience we’ve had in Spain. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A hundred stars wouldn't do this justice...the steak! - outstanding! The service - amazing!! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cobarcho, thanks from Ireland x

They had trouble cooking my steak to well done. The staff are nice and friendly but it was a staggered service.
Roger M — Google review
Really disappointed in general. It looked promising but the food did not live up to its sophisticated image. Most of the dishes arrived lukewarm and the food was ordinary. The chuletón was not cooked as requested and was mediocre. The only highlight was the delicious cheesecake. Not terrible but terribly overpriced for what you get in our opinion.

Casa Esteban is a popular spot in the capital of Pirineo aragones known for its delicious burgers, fries, ice cream sundaes, and elaborate desserts. The restaurant's pared-down space adds to its charm, although some may find the service a bit lacking as there are no table services and customers are called up to place their orders. It's recommended to make reservations due to the high demand.
I cannot say enough good things about Casa Esteban. When I was a child 25 years ago, I would come here with my friends to have some of the best burgers in town. This summer I had the opportunity to come back, fearing they might have closed - the owners have changed at this point, but they keep the same essentials that make this a great restaurante: great ambiance, easygoing attitude, and great sandwiches and burgers with fantastic quality bread. Now, don't come here expecting dietary specificities and custom burgers: they tel you right on the menu, they serve what they serve, if you don't want it, go eat elsewhere. I'm lactose intolerant, so if I'm having something lactose based here, I bring lactase with me. You get the idea. This is not a super fancy place, it's a local-spirit business where you'll be treated friendly if you're friendly and don't come demanding alterations to everything. Quality of food is great, staff are nice, service is fast (except when it fills with people, and it will fill with people because locals know this is a good place to eat a sandwich!). I'm so glad nearly 3 decades later it's still as awesome as when I was a kid. Next time I'm back in town, I will for sure come back, and I highly recommend you try them. Just be aware that during parts of the year, given volatile tourist population, they might have weird or limited business hours, so instead of depending on google maps for their schedule, make sure you stop by a few days before to check the schedule they have posted on the door. You'll be glad you eat a burger or bocadillo here!

The best food I had in Jaca by far. The menu was long and yummy. Our group picked a few starters to share, where I would highlight those crispy "torreznos"I ordered a giant salad and a delicious duck magret. It was amazing. The dessert, brownnie with ice-cream was impressive too. Highly recommended

1. Food!!! Delicious, typical, will long remember this as a benchmark for the best chuletón (we ordered two: rare and medium rare) 2. Service: <3 x 1000. We felt welcome like at a family reunion. 3. I am writing it yet before we paid, but no matter what I already know it was worth the money ;)

La Cocina Casa de Comidas in Jaca is known for its quality menu, professional service, and a central terrace. It's a place to relax and savor well-prepared dishes along with a selection of fine wines. The restaurant is famous for serving one of the best Ollas Jacetanas in the region. Visitors praise the delicious tapas, creamy salmorejo, and flavorful meatballs. The establishment offers a relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff and an extensive wine list.
Don't believe the akward customers, people who don't have a clue about Spain, nor food/wines...I am a demanding patron who has wandered the world, and this low-key jazzy place is the real deal, a combo of relax pro staff/service & well executed dishes, along with great choice of wines and spirits (which can prove to be an issue in other Jaca businesses). This is my second visit in a year and I intend to be back. Only small complaint would be a wish for some renewal of the menu.

Bar L'Acherito is simply amazing! Their hamburgers are incredible, and the chicken fingers that you can take for the return trip are absolutely spectacular. The best part of it all is the exceptional treatment by the staff. When you visit Jaca, this is definitely the place to go. They have a nice selection of delicious meals that cater to various dietary restrictions. The food and service are fantastic!
EXCELLENT RESTAURANT WITH OUTSTANDING CHOICES FOR VEGETARIANS AND VEGANS We came here for dinner and enjoyed it so much, we returned for lunch the next day. The décor is clean and modern, and the clientele spanned a wide range of ages. During our two meals, we sampled hummus and crudites as a starter, and three main courses: salad bowl of goat’s cheese, quinoa, avocado and onion chutney; vegetarian burger with avocado and cheese; salad bowl with falafel, mushroom and couscous. All the dishes were well-flavoured, pleasingly presented and satisfying. We shall certainly eat here again.

We visited Larcherito, a bar in Jaca, without a booking and were able to sit at the counter. We enjoyed the salad, vegan meatballs, and vegan burger, which were all good. However, the tuna dish wasn't to our taste. The atmosphere was casual and laid back, which suited the bar well. While the experience was not exceptional, we appreciated the service and the effort put into the dishes. We would recommend Larcherito as a good option for casual dining in Jaca.

December 2024: We came to have lunch at this restaurant and were overall pleased. Prices are fair for the portions and the food is of good quality; we also liked the presentation. There are several great vegan options, I'd even say that this is the best place for vegans in Jaca. However, there was no plant milk for coffee. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is good. The one thing that stops me from giving five stars is that we had ordered a seitan burger but instead of the seitan it was a vegetable patty. January 2025: Second visit to the restaurant, this time for dinner. The falafel & couscous bowl was tasty but the falafel was too salty in my opinion. They still had to plant milk which is a shame.

In the old city but away from the main tourist areas this restaurant is a hidden gem. Fantastic food at unbelievable price. Great value for mone. We managed to get a table outside as the restaurant was packed with local people enjoying lunch. We were made very welcome with excellent service. I would highly recommend!

My husband and I ate here last night: I had the gyoza bowl and he had the red velvet burger. It was so delicious, I am back tonight to try the falafel bowl. And I will probably be back before we leave to go back home. There's so many other dishes I want to try! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the space is just so modern and gorgeous. They take reservations and if you like to eat dinner later than eight, you should make one. You won't regret it! The falafel bowl was delicious, but I think I like the gyoza better. Just the right amount of dressing and generous portion. I couldn't finish it.

From the moment you walk in, the service is exceptional: attentive, friendly, and lightning-fast. They always serve you with a smile and make you feel right at home. But let's talk about the important thing: the pizzas! They're simply delicious, and you can tell they use top-quality, natural ingredients. Every bite is an explosion of fresh flavor. A great plus is that you can choose the type of dough for your pizza, which is fantastic for customizing it to your liking: classic thin wheat flour dough, whole-grain spelt flour dough, or rye and whole-grain flour dough. The only considerations you should keep in mind are that it's for pickup and dine-in. And during peak season, call to reserve because they fill up quickly. But if you're looking for a pizzeria with impeccable service, delicious natural pizzas, and impeccable food, this is your place! You won't regret it!

The atmosphere was cozy and traditional, which made for a lovely dining experience. We would definitely recommend Nadali to anyone looking for a great vegan meal in a cozy atmosphere."

Amazing vegetarian food. My boyfriend and I had one vegetarian testing menu and side dishes which was sufficient for both of us. Delicious food and a very helpful waiter who speaks perfect English made it a great experience overall. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Really great restaurant in the centre of Jaca. The staff were really friendly and spoke English. We had the tasting menus which were excellent. I'm a vegetarian and the menu was very tasty and looked good too. We were very happy that we found this restaurant, well recommended.

Iranian-spaniard fusion restaurant. We tried several dishes and flavours where what we expected, different! The only thing the "meatball" was served a bit cold, however, staff was so kind that they did not deserve 4/5. Totally recommendable!! We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed a lot the vegeterian menu. It filled our stomachs and it was delicious! We also ordered a special black tea they buy and they served it with a little pastry: fantastic! You can check the menu on their website. The service was nice and attentive. You can see the kitchen too (very clean). Completely recommended and good prices.

Our visit to La Terapia restaurant in Jaca was truly delightful. The staff members were friendly and the cuisine was absolutely delicious. We were particularly impressed by the squid ink croquettes, which not only surprised us with their size but also left an exquisite taste in our mouths. It was a pleasure to discover this hidden gem in Jaca, where we experienced exceptional food and outstanding service.

(Translated by Google) The service was very good, but I really expected more about the food. We ordered bravas and a steak, which, to my taste, was tough and not tender at all. I couldn't even chew it, and on top of that, it took them ages to bring it. It's a shame, but otherwise, the service and the waiter were very good! The bill was €37 for two Cokes, a bottle of water, a steak, and patatas bravas. Very nice room. We went with a dog and they had left a bowl and bed in the room for us. Communication was very good. The staff had arranged our room and given us details so we could just go straight to the room. Would recommend and return. Thank you

Strange arrangement with hotel split into two buildings. Comfortable room. Good bathroom. On my case I had the short walk to the other part of the hotel for a very good breakfast. However the location is perfect,in the centre of town. No view from room but surprisingly quiet. Friendly service. I will be back!

It was recommended by my dad who made it sound like it was some special restaurant in Jaca. Go there is you like cafeteria food. I didn’t think it was particularly cheap either, but the service was friendly.

Very friendly staff, rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable beds, heated rooms, powerful shower, unlimited hot water. Very central to all amenities. Has a restaurant attached. Serves breakfast from 8am. Doors do close with a heavy noise so you here other guests arriving and leaving their rooms and I could hear the person next door snoring, that said, I have had a good sleep here. I recommend this place and I would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here in October of 23. The hotel was clean and a marvelous location. The hotel staff (Ruth) was amazing, she and my wife talked for a very long time about the local area and she gave my wife great information on local places, shops, restaurants, and local history. We will be back next year and stay here again. Thank you El Acebo for a wonderful stay.

They offered a double bed and they gave us two small beds together, its not very professional at all. The television didn’t work properly, the signal would leave all the time. They told us at night that they would give us back the money or in some way give back. When we went back down in the morning the owner of the hotel told us that she wouldn’t give us back any money at all and if we didn’t like it we should have left before. Very negative experience, we will never go back. And don’t recommend it to anyone.

On a chilly evening in Jaca, four American tourists stumbled upon Restaurante Asador Casa Martín. This cozy eatery captivated them with its charming atmosphere and the enticing aroma emanating from the open flame grill. They savored the entrecote, which was flawlessly prepared. The complimentary wine and warm ambiance only deepened their connection to the restaurant's rich culture. They vowed to return one day with their own families and share this initial encounter during their time studying abroad.
It’s a nice place with cute decor and ambient atmosphere. We were rather early for lunch (if compared to locals), so it wasn’t full. The meal was tasty. The staff were nice and welcoming. There is a menu in different languages. Please, note that the bathroom is upstairs, so if you have someone for whom it is hard to walk up or a person in a wheelchair, that’s smth to keep in mind. The location is also good in my opinion.

Probably one of the worst or the worst restaurant experiences I have had ever. We booked a table for 5 people and arrived promptly about 10 minutes before. We were left waiting for half an hour outside while the waitress sat other people ahead of us. We didn't mind this but would have liked better communication about when the table would be ready. Eventually we were seated for another wait for our orders to be taken. We were discouraged from getting pizzas and heavily pressured to take pasta dishes. We stuck to our choice but this proved a big mistake. The pizzas took 30-40 minutes to arrive at our table and then arrived covered with raw flour. We ate what we could because by this point it was past midnight and we were all starving but it definitely was not an enjoyable experience. When the waitress asked at the end of the meal why we had not finished, I showed her the flour to which she told me that they had been so busy they didn't have a chance to clean the oven! An apology would have been appreciated. We payed our full bill and will not be returning ever. Save yourself and go elsewhere in Jaca.

Fantastic deal with room, dinner, breakfast and the most incredible spa experience. Very comfortable bed, good food, efficient and friendly service. We booked directly with the hotel online. It was such a great stay and such an affordable deal (105 euro including room, breakfast, dinner and spa experience) that we decided to stay again on our way back from San Sebastian. 100% will return whenever possible. The spa experience was so fun and so revitalising. Honestly, I could live in this hotel.

Stayed in their one-bedroom apartment. We used the pull out couch as a bed as well. Surprisingly comfortable. The only reason I didn't give it a five-star review is I felt the spa is not well monitored. It's clean. But I felt the temperatures of the jacuzzi were not hot enough and the steam room suffered from not being hot enough too (there could always be weird regulations that I don't know about). The choices of relaxation however in the spa was fantastic. There are a lot of families with small children here.

This is a very cool hotel. We were traveling and stayed only one night. But I did not want to go from there. Rooms are spacious with living room and two bedrooms, good smart TV with internet connection. However, the Internet has worked slowly. The room was clean. Friendly staff. There is an underground parking at an affordable price. As well as parking on the street near the hotel. Very good and tidy town, mountains are also incredible. Breakfast was good and typical for hotels: eggs, bacon, juice, tea, coffee, fruits, toasts, flakes, jam, cheese ... We had also dinner in a restaurant from the hotel. It should be noted here that not all meals were delicious. Cachopo from beef stuffed with chicken and cheese was difficult to chew and the clip was very fat. But the salad with orange and cod was incredibly delicious. Also liked the ribs. French fries were raw. Desserts did not impress us. The wine is delicious. The restaurant staff does not speak English.

From a 3 star hotel, for this price, our stay was a huge disappointment. The apartment is really small, maybe ok for two people, but for four... The hotel advertises it as a huge, convenient room, but the other bed is just a sofa, and when you open it, there will not be enoigh space to move in the room (literally). The maintenance is poor, several mayor things were broken in our room. The receptionist tells contradictory things, even in one minute. - I asked: can we use the SPA? - receptionist: yes, it is in your booking, it is free - me: ok, I would use it - receptionist: no, no, you need to book it - me: alright, let's book it then' - receptionist: it's 9.9€ per person - me:??? After such a conversation, you notice that you can't expect too much from this place. In the restaurant, the menu is only in spanish, if you think an english menu is basic, you will be surprised. The waitress knows english either, and she told us to use google translate... In a 3 star hotel... The food was bad also. The price of the parking is horrible, even though the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. It is even more expensive, than the inner city of Barcelona. So you can pay 199€ for one (not good) room with breakfast. So according to the managemant it's ok, but it is not. The hotel tries to count is per person, but you pay for a room with breakfast, not for one person. For this price you can get TWO rooms with breakfast in Jaca, or anywhere else. It is also non acceptable that they don't translate the menu, because 'it changes' or they can't. Nobody cares about it. It was only available in spanish, even no need to talk about it. This hotel should really re-think the priorities, beacuse 'let's use google translate' it's totally unaccaptable. English is a worldwide spoken language, but even the waitress could speak spanish only.

Baviera Jaca Cocina de Mercado is a casual dining establishment that offers a variety of Spanish tapas and main dishes, along with an impressive selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. Although the restaurant may appear dimly lit due to its closure, the quality of the cuisine more than compensates for this minor drawback.
The location is very old style but the food is updated to current tastes. Lot's of fish and shellfish options. Good place for celebrations.

(Translated by Google) We found this restaurant by chance and how lucky we were. A spectacular dinner!! The tomato had an exquisite flavor that we hadn't eaten in a long time, the tuna belly more of the same. Homemade and super creamy croquettes. The Octopus was delicious and the jewel in the crown, the zamburiñas with a grilled flavor, we had never tried them with that flavor. Just remembering it makes our mouths water 🤤 We are from Barcelona and we are already planning another trip to repeat 🥰 A single small recommendation, smiling at customers is free.

Mountain House is a delightful dining destination that beautifully blends traditional Spanish flavors with international cuisine. The menu features an array of dishes, including the beloved paella, succulent grilled meats, hearty burgers, fresh sandwiches, and vibrant salads. With its modern and stylish decor, guests can enjoy a spacious dining area or relax on the terrace for al fresco meals. This spot is perfect for casual lunches or dinners with loved ones.
At lunch during the week we took some rations and the plate of the day. I'm extremely picky with food as I'm from the other side of the border ;) And it was a good surprise. Good portions, tasty food (cheese croquetas!). We didn't wait long and our plates arrived warm. Service (2 women) was fast and efficient. The place itself is nice with an amazing collection of mountain books and a wonderful fireplace. Finally the bill was super correct, I didn't break the bank, Im not starving anymore, and I enjoyed the food. What do you want more? I recommend.

We ate here one night in August, and it was totally full! Service was a little slow at first, which was not surprising considering the amount of people eating, although the staff were happy and cheerful ( i dont think i would have been with that amount of work!) Food was great, no problems, no photos though as my wife was fed up with photos for google!

We had dinner here with our 2 year old and 4 year old. We didn’t have a reservation but had no trouble finding a table. The food was tasty, I had a Caesar salad and my husband had the burger, both of which were super. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering we both had 2 drinks. Would definitely recommend.

We decided to have a dinner here 07.12.24. Ordered CARAMELIZED PORK RIB WITH BLACK PEPPER ACCOMPANIED BY CHINESE SCALLIONS AND WEDD POTATOES & TXOGITXU ENTRECOTE (250 GRAMS) GRILLED WITH POTATOES GARNISH AND PEPPER SAUCE... The pork ribs were just microwaved (not freshly cooked) The entrecote was dry and tough as a sole. As a result, wasted money and complete disappointment with our meat dishes. We will not come more! Strongly not recomended!

I could not recommend anyone to go here. We had the Salmon Avocado Poke Bowl. The avocado tasted old and past it’s expiry date and the salmon rancid. When telling this to the waiter, we got no excuse and they only mentioned they would tell the kitchen. In the end we were still asked to pay the full check. PS: Not even the coffee was ok, worst coffee I had in Spain

The food was very good, menu del dia, but just well prepared and presented. The service was not that good. Yes it was a national holiday, so quite busy in the town, but in these moments a good waiter can shine. But sadly the large waiter with glasses did not perform. Way to quick in taking orders, no time to look at the menu and decide. Bringing the new course when the previous was not fully eaten yet. Icecream, send back. When finished the molten icecream came again, so that was send back also....

Ordered pizza with a soda, and carrot cake with coffee for dessert. The pizza was tasty, with thin crust that was probably hand stretched. The carrot cake was very creamy and sweet, with nuts. They also offered le free olives for snacking and a shot on the house. Prices were very tight, fit for the quality of the place. Waiters were nice and welcoming, though I ordered in Spanish so I can't speak for their English. El Rancho Grande is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Nestled down a quaint alleyway, this family-run restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The menu features mouthwatering dishes, including expertly grilled vegetables and mixed meats, all prepared in full view over an open fire. Guests rave about the Argentine steak, which is not only delicious but also generously portioned.
Excellent food and great service. The meat was outstanding! It was quite busy because it was a national holiday but they did their best to ensure that we had everything we needed. I'm coming again if we return to Jaca!

Excellent food, we ordered the grilled veg ans mixed grilled meat dish. Both were really well done and cooked in three bbq area in full view. They even came to find me when I left my bag hanging on the chair. Another sign of a good quality establishment.

Had excellent meal with great service and delicious Argentine steak, perfectly cooked on the open fire. Family run restaurant and really welcoming and friendly. It’s down a small alleyway- definitely worth going to find.

Terrible chuletón, absolutely not worth the money. Potatoes rústicas were soggy and bad quality. Salads were a few leaves thrown together. Desserts were uneatable. Never have I eaten in place so highly rated on Google that turned out so badly. Generally in Jaca the food is of a pretty good standard, this is the worst place I’ve eaten to date.

Best McDonald's ever! Food choice, quality and service as you would expect. However, this was my first McDonald's that had bi-fold doors to open up the whole seating area, fans and water sprayers from ceiling to keep cool on such a hot day was very welcome and the view was just amazing.

All restaurants closed here from 3 to 8pm ..!! I can't believe a tourist town can afford to do that...! Anyway , we need to lunch a 4pm and McD save the day. The special fries are great. Easy to park. Thanks McD.

Standard McDonald's in Jaca, Spain, but with an awesome view of the mountains! Stopped here on the way to San Sebastián. Since I'm a fast food fiend, tried a bunch of their chicken sandwiches. The McSpicy was my favorite! The Alitas de Pollo or Chicken Wings were great too! The American Style Chicken sandwich with Honey Mustard was pretty good as well! Then on the way back from San Sebastián, I sampled their beef burgers. The Signature Collection Burger with Goat Cheese was sublime, while the Grand McExtreme with Bacon had that meaty typical burger taste we all love. The only thing I did not like as much were their Chicken Nuggets, in the Philippines, where I'm from, the nuggets are crisper and saltier. The Spain McNuggets were a bit soggier with less taste. I did enjoy their sauces though, as the McNugget sauces in the Philippines are limited to Barbecue, and Sweet & Sour. So the Spain McNugget sauce selection was great!

Food OK but the place was full of flies. They were everywhere in the eating area. It was horrible. Never had any fly problems in any other McDonalds. Significant number of other reviews also complain about flies but your responses are poor . It is clear that you are not taking any action to deal with what is a health and safety , food hygiene issue. Will not be eating here again and will be sending a copy of my review to McDonalds head office and to the relevant Spainsh government department.

(Translated by Google) A long-standing restaurant in a residential area on the outskirts of Jaca, located in a village house. During tourist periods, there's almost always a line to eat a 14-euro menu. The only explanation I can find for such a success is the good price of the menu compared to the rest of Jaca's restaurants, and the fact that there's parking. The food is too simple, vulgar, and we didn't find it of the highest quality for the tastes of those of us who were there. Maybe it wasn't the right day, but anything's possible.

(Translated by Google) Cozy picnic table where we could taste some good oil potatoes (note the irony). The nachos are rich but "just right", and the nuggets are very tasty. The loin sandwich was very good, but the meat in the hamburgers was of quite poor quality. But hey, we really liked having dinner there.

(Translated by Google) Good place to eat hamburgers, sandwiches and sandwiches. They are large and cheap, the portion of potatoes is a dish that is good for two, the zipi zape hamburger being so thick you have to ask for it well done, in my case since I don't like the meat not being cooked. They work very well for you if you want to get out of the typical Jaca bars for a bit and not end up in a McDonald's.

Very small place with pretty big terrace. Service quite slow altough it was the fault of the owners, just one waitress for whole place.... The food surprisely yummy, to highlight "croqueta de bacalao". Good value for price, about 15€/pax you can easily eat(very generous portions)

Cafetería Oza is a delightful spot that truly captures the essence of Spanish dining. Nestled in a prime location, it offers an inviting atmosphere where visitors can enjoy a variety of well-prepared tapas, sandwiches, and mixed dishes made from fresh ingredients—all at reasonable prices. Guests rave about the friendly service and quick turnaround times, making it an ideal place for breakfast or a casual snack.
Fast service. Typical tapas for a standard spanish bar... But extremely efficient. Fantastic square to have your coffee early morning with sunshine. 🥰

We went there for a small breakfast and it was much better than what you would expect from a place with such a low ranking: Lovely, fast service, tasty croissants, coffee and fresh orange juice and a great location!

Scared to leave, the whole building is surrounded by what looks like Romani gypsies, everyone of them a few sandwiches short of a picnic. They seem to harass every passer by, with what sounds like aggressive vulgar language

(Translated by Google) We stopped here for breakfast with our 2 children, and it's amazing to see us tourists, he charged us whatever he wanted, my husband asked him for the ticket but as you can see he committed an illegality by describing everything consumed as "various" and he deceived us. What we took was the following: 1 glass of milk + 1 piece of butter toast. 1 glass of milk + 1 toast Butter. 1 coffee. We should have complained in the face of such embarrassment; my son, being small, did not take anything. Nothing but nothing recommended. We returned in February and we have not set foot here. Bye bye!!

(Translated by Google) I'm surprised by so many negative comments, so much so that I thought they were referring to another establishment. I'm from Pamplona and I visit Jaca from time to time as a tourist. And I've always had a wonderful time at this bar: tapas, sandwiches, and mixed dishes are very well prepared (cooked to perfection and with fresh produce) and at a reasonable price. There are delicious tapas that aren't very common in other bars, such as breaded cod, empanadillas, shrimp, calamari, and croquettes, etc. I should also point out, as a sign of care for the product, that the bar pinchos are displayed in a refrigerated display case, something that is conspicuously absent in many other bars. I also always found the place to be very neat and clean, from the bar to the restrooms. The staff was always polite and attentive, and the atmosphere was full of locals (also visitors), which gives an idea of the popularity and longevity of this establishment in the city of Jaca. P.S.: I repeat, I don't know if those who commented so badly were in the same bar as me.

(Translated by Google) One of the best homemade pizzas I have ever eaten. Every time I'm in Jaca I try to order. The family ones are very large and have quite a few ingredients. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in jackfruit. As for delivery time, if you don't call during peak hours (as is logical) it is quite fast. 20/25 min.
