The Shack in Raglan is a popular dining spot offering locally baked Raglan Bagels for breakfast and their signature Chillicrunch Rice for lunch, featuring miso-fried brown rice with crunchy vegetables and zingy peanut chilli crunch.
My partner and I came here twice for brunch, the first time we both had granola, fruit, and yoghurt (pictured) and it was really good. The second time we had the zucchini fritters (also pictured) which was amazing and tasty. We also ordered lattes which was a nice, strong hug.
The service was also great, the cafe is the busiest place in town but there's no shortage of very friendly staff.

Super helpful and friendly staff, it was very busy in the weekend. Dog friendly place. Special love their idea leave the coffee grounds out of the shop. Let people free to take for gardening. That's really cool.

Honestly my expectations weren’t that high. A cafe in the sleepy surf town close to Hamilton at first glance offered a couple of basic bakeries, some with run-of-the-mill take out options and a pub. Stumbling on “The Shack” was a stroke of good luck sent from the Gods.
The place has a “small town friendly” vibe, an eclectic menu of premium offering of deliciousness to suit any diet restricted or picky eater. There’s literally everything from Gen Z to Boomer catered for here… and the quality of food to rival any big city top 20 “must try” cafes.
It’s a shame the view wasn’t the gorgeous raglan harbour, but then again… it if was, we probably wouldn’t have found it.
What a lovely place to stay! Have a coffee (or tea, like I did), enjoy a nice lunch — I loved the avocado toast — and don’t skip the fig loaf; I ordered it twice because it was so delicious. The people were incredibly kind and helpful. I even met a few lovely people here and had some great conversations. The whole place has such good energy — I could have easily spent many more days here. Thank you!
Service is amazing, the staff are so friendly and kind. The food is absolutely devine, they change it up frequently and the taste of every meal is like an explosion in your mouth. It’s pretty hard to find a good matcha latte around and these guys are up there with some of the best! Best cafe in Raglan by far 💛

Stopped here to make a plan for the day. The chili egg scramble and oat milk chai were great and hit the spot. Friendly atmosphere, comfortable to read, enjoy the WiFi, and some tasty treats.

This place has a casual, kind of homey feel but not much seating choice inside as most seating is outside on the deck. We tried the pizza, which is laid out in a glass case. You pick what appeals to you and they heat it up. It didn't look that appetizing but was actually pretty good. We did have a couple of issues with the place, the main one being that we were there on a very cold day, yet the large front entry, deck entry and another window were wide open. On top of that, there was no heater, so it was freezing inside! The other was this seemed to be the kind of place that's friendly to the locals but not so much to outsiders. We felt like we were intruding on the server while the locals coming in were warmly greeted. We tried to get gelato after our pizza but the proprietor was too busy chatting with the locals while making coffee; so we gave up and left. In all, in spite of liking the pizza enough, we would not recommend this place.
Great option for an "on the way" coffee. We have dine in and food is average. Mocha OK. However the customer service is not the best, once we were ready to order, the lady taking orders is a bit rude and doesn't make me feel welcomed at all. Not a HI or whatsoever. Just simply types in the order and that's it.

Found this place last time we went to Raglan. We had the tiramisu, and gelato as well as Raglan Roast coffee. The next day my kids were begging to go back for more gelato so we also tried the pizza. Will definitely come back. The kids often talk about the gelato place!
Came here because three travel places said it was The Place to go for coffee. We didn't end up ordering coffee but still enjoyed our drinks. The ice cream cabinet looks really interesting - with some unusual and yummy looking flavours, such as 'rice and cinnamon'. Most impressed with how cheap the coffee menu is! The water filter is nice and icy, just what one needs on a hot day. I would love to come back and try out the brunch menu. Thanks for a great experience!

Great selection of amazing pizzas and finish off the meal with delicious gelatos even if it is the middle of winter.

Visit 1 over a weekend: Nice lunch with our parents. Bookings are often necessary. Enjoyed calamari (decent plateful) ceviche, garlic prawns and beef and cheese burger. Mojito didn’t go astray either. Lovely service and nice view by the window.
Visit 2 - next weekend: Stopped in for lunch again. Not quite so great. Ordered a Margarita and the rim was sugared rather than salted. Shared a plate of the fish and chip meal - the chip portion was sadly lacking and the piece of tomato in the salad was microscopic ( the ginger dressing was very tasty) - this was a $31 meal. Very disappointing
What a lovely experience on a rainy day. Friendly staff happy for us to sit over a cup of tea while we waited for our friends. Fabulous seafood chowder. Highly recommend a visit to Orca. With a lovely view of the harbour this was the perfect place to meet friends.
My sister and I came to Raglan from Auckland for the weekend. We ate here for dinner on Friday, lunch on Saturday and back again for dinner on Saturday night. We sat in the garden area each time which was lovely and sunny.
The food was amazing!
We had: garlic bread, fries and calamari for Friday dinner, a beautiful broccoli salad and an aubergine stack for dinner, and finally the tofu dish and vege stack for dinner. All very yummy, great seasoning, spices and dressings. And just to be even more piggy than we had already been we got ginger crunch and cookie slice to take away 🐷

Excellent restaurant with great food and service located near the water in Raglan. The Lamb Shank was perfection as was the Fish and Chips with a twist that the fish can be ordered fried or baked.
Reasonably priced as well.

Nice place to enjoy classic seaside fish and chips. We ordered 2 fish burgers for $16.50 each, 1 scoop of Beer Battered Chips for $6.30, 1 scoop of Regular Chips for $5.30 and 2 pieces of gurnard for $10.50 each. This is quite an expensive place for fish and chips however considering the rising price of Fish and Chips these days it’s nice to get a quality product for the price paid. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, could do with more seating considering the size of the area.

Lunch with a view! Locals and visitors to the area plotted around the wharf fishing, plenty of tables outside, inside and partial coverage here for some excellent fish and chips.
Plenty of fresh fish options on offer, a fantastic 10/10 chowder, I had the baked Tarakihi and beer batter fries - AMAZING.
The kids meal for $11 is sufficient too.
Highly recommend - excellent team on deck too filleting on site, team cooking and serving.

We had a really lovely lunch here on a day trip to Raglan. We had two hot dogs (these are actually proper pork sausages rather than frankfurters, dipped in batter, which we were pleased about as that's what we prefer anyway) and a portion of chips to share. Our food came out within about 10 minutes and everything tasted hot and fresh. The battered sausages were absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed our chips- they had a nice flavour and were seasoned well. Our bill came to $17 which we thought was really reasonable given the portion size and flavour. Would recommend!
Granted it was on a Saturday around 1pm but waiting 1hr 10mins for a mediocre fish burger, average chips and nice fish just doesn't present good value. I'd caution against getting caught up in the self-promoted hype of this place having the best fish n chips in Raglan and support a smaller little fish n chip instead. Just my honest 2c.
Yup, a trip to Ragg’s is incomplete if you don’t do fish and chips on the wharf. Beer battered chip 1/2 scoop for $5 is the same portion size as a full one in town
Fall apart, still taste the sea salt snapper crumbed or battered … sigh, heaven sent - fish and chips should be illegal to sell if it isn’t to this standard in Aotearoa 😎

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my partner’s 60th birthday at The Wharf Café, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience. From start to finish, PJ, the owner, went above and beyond to make the night special. His level of professionalism and dedication was truly exceptional.
PJ was incredibly helpful in every aspect of the event, from assisting with shuttle arrangements for our guests to offering advice on the best setup for the evening. His generosity and attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor, leaving everyone at the party raving.
A special thank you to PJ and his wonderful staff, whose friendly and attentive service truly made the night memorable. I was even able to decorate the restaurant the night before, which added a personal touch to the event.
The entire celebration was a success, thanks to the incredible hospitality and support from PJ and his team. I highly recommend The Wharf Café for any special occasion — they made my partner's milestone birthday unforgettable. A huge thank you once again!

For the best seafood chowder we have ever had, it is a must try. Friendly staff, quickly seated, and orders placed. Meals were promptly served, it wasn’t busy to be fair. The meat lover’s omelette was excellent, the chowder was a standout. The 4 of us are well travelled and enjoy food. The recipe is a guarded secret. We understand why.
Absolutely amazing food and service! My husband and I came in for a booking at 11:30am, we were quickly greeted and shown our table, the staff were friendly and efficient, our drinks came quickly and our food order was taken not long after and any changes we made to the meal were noted correctly. The food came out hot and fresh, it was absolutely delicious.
We will be coming back regularly.
We had an amazing family experience here. The service was outstanding from start to finish, making us feel truly welcome. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It’s a lovely family-friendly restaurant with an incredible view, which made the whole evening even more special. The food wasn’t great. I got the waffles with eggs and sausage. The sausage was the only hot thing on the plate. The waffles were so sweet, almost crusted with sugar, didn’t need any syrup. The eggs were cold and hard. Maybe too much vinegar in the water… my partner got eggs on toast with sausage and hash brown. Everything was cold, sausages cold in the middle. Food took ages to come out and we were the only people in the restaurant. 4 members of staff were trying to fix a gate, maybe that’s why it took so long. Defs won’t be going back. Go and eat somewhere like Wyld or the shack. Much better service and food quality.
Had a wonderful brunch here with the family – all four of us loved our meals. Great value, amazing service, and such a friendly, helpful team. They even brought a fresh pot of tea after I spilled some! Beautiful water views made it even better. Highly recommend!! 😊
Our first visit. I always shy away from places with extensive menus but I was nicely surprised. The fish was fresh and delicious, kids enjoyed their meals and milkshakes. Generous portions.
Try and get sitting on the verandah overlooking water. Inside was a bit cold and hectic with people going in and out.
The stuff is very lovely and attentive
Wasn’t the greatest. Requested outdoor seating they tried to sit us inside. Couldn’t cook the steaks to how we requested. Overall the food could’ve been better and was over price for what is was. They ignored us after making the complaint and brought the chef out to solve the issue. Which in my opinion is unprofessional. They tried to make up for it by giving free desserts which was nice but the staff really needs to work on their communication better. Probably won’t be back.

An incredible evening - brilliant music, food (I had the bang bang salmon salad, partner had the pork ribs and noodles in broth and we finish with the best burnt caramel and choc tart ever), cocktails, craft beers and the best vibes. We didn’t want to leave!
Headed away for a wee weekend break with a girlfriend to Raglan and discovered the most amazing Japanese asan fusion dining with super retro dining vibes! So recommend this place! Flower power cocktail, and food full of flavour sensations! This is the place to be. Music that just rocks the the vibe and the decor a unique blend to create just the perfect setting for chats and chill moments!!! Congrats and please come and enjoy this awesome place!!!

It is a beautiful place with a beautiful view, in the food court they have green grapes hanging everywhere, it is beautiful. The food is very tasty and the portion fills you up quite a bit. Came to eat at the restaurant we have been a few times before and enjoyed it but this time ithe food was disappointing. I ordered the chicken ceasar salad there were so many crutons and they were huge dominating the salad and the chicken was over cooked which made it tough and dry. My husband got a pizza. We could have got a better pizza from Pizza Hutt but four times cheaper a postive was the hot chips with sauce was nice
Very happy with our stay here. Our room was cosy and clean. Being Winter, I was worried about the cold, but we stayed warm all night. Eating mussels and fish and chips on the balcony outside the communal living room was a highlight. The food was delicious. The fish batter was light and the fish was succulent. And those mussels? Just yum! I loved the character and charm of the place. Happy with everything.
Saturday early evening, 6.30 booking and the restaurant was quite busy given it was a wet night. We were a party of 4 guests. Seated quite promptly as we had a booking. Menus and drinks list were given at the time of seating. Unfortunately things didn’t go to well from then. We placed a drinks order, and requested table water, as one or our party was the driver. Got the drinks, no water. We placed our dinner order, and about 10 mins later the waitress returned to inform one of our party their choice was not available. So another decision was required. We received 3 of our meals in a reasonable time frame, one missing. The last meal was delivered a good 15 mins later, the rest of the table was 60% through their meals. This was after adding the waitress to follow up on our outstanding meal. Unfortunately the sticky chicken meal that was late was severely overcooked. The 2 pizzas and Thai beef salad were good. No one asked if we wanted more drinks. When we went to pay, the original meal order that we couldn’t have was also charged to us. Disappointed with whole experience sadly.
Um what can I say the guy on the bar was good...as soon as we walked in and ask for bar menu was rudely told over there..then when we ordered 2 of our meals came and thats its it...when partner went in to ask was rudely told by the dark headed foriegn woman that basically had to wait another 30min that woman needs a attitude adjustment because hospo isn't a strong point for her...won't come back

Great spot in the centre of town, sports bar. Lots of friendly, helpful staff. Proper old school hotel with the pub downstairs (lounge, sports bar and sundeck) and accommodation upstairs.
Ordered the steak and chowder. Must compliment the chef on the steak, perfectly cooked, same goes for the chowder. Staff were excellent and went far beyond to accommodate us.

Went to the Sports bar to watch the NPC final...lot of rugby supporters in there doing the same. Had to ask if they could put the sound on the tvs...staff appeared disinterested and said they didnt know how, or its up to the owner...few of us asked....but no deal. Its a Sports bar !!
Finally 10 mins in the sound came on but turned off again at halftime. Had to ask them again.
The large barlady couldnt give a toss. Rude as, and just flicked us off with "its not my decision". Sound finally came back on 10 mins in.
Bar staff were rude and couldnt care less...lots of people came in to watch it...like i said. Its a Sports bar, but they would rather play music than sport.

An awesome place to bring the kids! Fun vibe with swings, cool lights and bean bag chairs; my son was entertained the entire time. Menu was pricy, but most places in Raglan seem to be. Food was good but nothing fancy; and the cider shushies were delicious!

We had an amazing experience at George Beach Club in Raglan. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming. Fantastic food and fresh drinks. We ordered the fish and chips to share as it comes with 4 pieces of fish and a fair amount of chips. The fish was amazing and the tartar sauce was the perfect addition. We also split a cheesy garlic flatbread and finished our meal with a cinnamon sugar doughnut. We had some Good George slushie drinks and enjoyed the beachy atmosphere.
We pulled into Raglan late and hungry and stumbled into the nearest restaurant and so glad we did!
Although it was cold and rainy, we were warm and cozy inside the patio which was bright with colorful lights. The swings looked like so much fun!
Our host and server was engaging and brought our drinks and food quickly.
The seafood chowder was delicious, but the pizza was the highlight with a perfect crust from the wood-fired pizza oven.
And don't miss out on the signature dessert - can't go wrong with a donut and cinnamon and ice cream!

Amazing place, and really friendly, down-to-earth staff. Went out for lunch with my family and our little dog. Everyone enjoyed it - the atmosphere is fun, the food is delicious (and huge portions), and the service is top-notch. My 11 year old liked it so much he begged to go back the following day, and wanted to bring his cousins along too. All round great place, and would highly recommend the anyone👌
Friday evening quick dinner at George's Beach Club. We had fantastic pizzas - really impressed with the light fluffy base on the cheesy garlic bread! Great seafood chowder with lots of fish, mussels and prawns and enjoyed the refreshing cider slushies.
Initially seated at the back near the bathrooms, I asked for the staff to move us to another table and they were accommodating for us. My last dinner on a recent visit to NZ so I was glad to be enjoying the sunset and see a bit of the water from the front of the venue.

If you like hot chocolates, then this is a must visit because it has the best hot chocolates I have ever had. Loads of variety of different flavours and super chocolatey. Tastes like a cup of melted chocolate. They have lots of different baked goods too. The brownie and banana loaf were delicious. Outstanding hot chocolate and food. This place is a master class in how to make rich decadent food and is not for the faint of heart. The rich smooth thick salted caramel hot chocolate was exactly what the doctor ordered on a cold rainy spring day while the kids loved their small hot chocolates and marshmallows. The only drawback of this place is the size - very small ( eead cosy) interior but warm and welcoming. Lovely staff attentive ank knowledgeable. This cafe, while being on the expensive side will be a frequent touch point when we are in raglan.

Wow, the minute you pop into this small shop you are enveloped in a sensory experience. The array of baked sweet goods on your right as you walk to the counter are so mouth watering to the eye. The atmosphere is very quaint, with decor that is very welcoming and cosy. Lovely lady served us, and the hot chocolate would be one of the best we have experienced. The black coffee and cream with a Portuguese tart, delicious!! A must visit if you are in Raglan.

We are true coffee and pastry lovers, so finding a place like this felt like a real treat. The coffee and food were very good, but unfortunately the overall experience wasn’t as positive as we had hoped. We felt the service lacked warmth, and even when a question had to be repeated, the response came across as unfriendly.
It also seemed like there was a new staff member being trained, and it was a bit sad to see that the teaching approach looked rather harsh. We believe that with a friendlier atmosphere, this place could be truly special, because the products themselves are excellent

You may have to wait for the gelato if it's busy, but it's not too sweet and very delicious. I tried the rum raisin and passion fruit gelato. The next day I ordered the beef wrap ($15). It was delicious and I highly recommend it. Dogs are welcome.
I genuinely come here every week! Everything about this place is amazing. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, the shop itself has a cute and cozy atmosphere, and the outdoor seating area feels like a private garden, which is an especially nice escape when town gets busy in the summer months. The food, of course, is the main selling point, and I must say their beef burrito salad is my favourite meal and current food fixation! The servings are so generous and is great value for money (which is why I feel like I can justify going there every week!). If I had to pick one meal to eat for the rest of my life it would hands down be the beef burrito salad, and my partner has the vegan one and can attest to it being just as good. Overall, we highly recommend this place! :)
The shop has a charming atmosphere, but unfortunately, our experience with the staff was disappointing. We waited in line for about 10 minutes to place our order, during which only one staff member was working. She was friendly and doing her best. However, when another staff member came out from the back to help, she didn’t acknowledge the queue or ask who was next. Instead, she served the person who arrived after us without saying a word. It felt dismissive and unprofessional.

Greta place for ice cream. They have a lot of different fruit options, so something for everyone. It was a very welcome cold treat on the hot Raglan day we were visiting. Definitely a stop we’ll be making again.

Ok so I get that this is a nice fancy restaurant and has a great vibe, but there is one thing I have to say, is this place is a rip off. Dinner for two cost $65 and that didn’t even include wine. You spend $65 to eat a mediocre dinner, nothing delicious or near good quality to feel half full and poorly scrumptious.
I would not recommend this place, rather go to the Sushi restaurant next door which has a much better selection, value, and vibe.
Well over priced - my grandson got the meatballs, honestly there were 4 very small ones. I had the risotto smoked pumpkin with charred vegs- Risotto was a mash spread over the plate and the charred vegetables (like 4 or 5 pieces) were unrecognisable vegs. Not a great meal at all. Atmosphere was busy, but chefs dropping things in the kitchen on the floor more than once or twice.
Another amazing meal. Service and food excellent you set the bar pretty high for Raglan well done guys my dinner was awesome, can't wait for next time 😋

Their snapper, encased in a perfectly golden crispy batter, paired with sweet potato chips or even a classic cheeseburger makes for an unforgettable meal.
The best fish and chips I've had in the two months I've been in New Zealand. Both were perfectly done and seasoned, and it wasn't too greasy. We chose the lemon fish.
I don't often leave reviews, but I decided to share this experience because there are so many negative reviews of this place but I had a completely different experience.
It was also the fastest (~5 minute wait vs ~20 in other places) and the young lady working was super nice!

your standard local fish n chip shop, had the staples of fish, chips, burgers and hot dogs. only fault was the fish had an oily taste but still decent. Prices felt a little high but when you're on holiday it isn't a major issue.

Purchased the tarakihi fish and chips. Fish was NOT fresh and tasted horrendous. There was a layer of slime between the fish and batter and it also smelt really bad. My kids and myself could not even eat it and ended up throwing the lot away. (I’m nervous that the portion we did stomach is going to make us sick). Chips were terrible, over cooked and dry. Portions were good however - which I was surprised at after reading some other reviews which indicates that they are inconsistent.
Price is steep too which is to be expected in a small beach town. I don’t mind paying extra if the food was actually good.
It’s sad because this fish n chip shop use to be amazing years ago when we last visited.

The pizza base was nice and toppings were generous. I had a vegetarian pizza that came with avocado. My one critique would be that the avocado had been cooked with the rest of the toppings - which makes it bitter and therefore the pizza was not that enjoyable. I personally prefer avocado as as topping if it's added after the pizza comes out of the oven so it tastes fresh.
It was easy to order online and pick up 20 minutes later. Would suggest take-aways as the indoor seating area could have a better atmosphere. Otherwise a fine experience :)
Don't know why this place has recent bad reviews. We were visiting from Auckland. Comparing it to Dominos is silly as they are two total different places. The ingredients here tasted better than Domino's. Had the supreme and chocolate dessert pizza. Supreme was nice with a good ratio of toppings and the dessert pizza also lovely. Front of house staff apologised for wait and we didn't wait all that long at all. You can also wait inside where it's warm. See you guys again on our next visit.

My experience at pirate pizzas was… alright. The entrance stated that it was a pirate pizza, so I thought it would be pirate themed. I was disappointed when I didn’t see a pirate themed pizza parlour. Though, there was a puss n boots hanging on the wall which was kinda coolio. The pizza came pretty fast, approximately a 15 minute wait. The bruda was staring at me tho and questioning my way of life so that made me a bit anxious. Overall I rate my experience at pirate pizzas a 67/69. Would recommend Adrian’s barbershop for anyone. Much love xoxo

Don’t usually leave reviews but just wanted to share how great this venue was at sorting an incident that happened- a man undid my top at the bar and tried to take it off me. After my friends told me to tell the bar what happened, the bartenders didn’t even question it they immediately informed the management to ask the man to leave and one even gave me a jacket to wear after noticing how uncomfortable i looked.

Made an in person booking for 3 people on Saturday morning for that night. Arrived and picked out meals from menu then a waitress arrived and told us they had a party of 60 plus and could not serve us anything but pizza. They must have known they had that group when I made my booking. 60 people don't just walk in off the street.
The bar staff on the night we were in, were wonderful, they were super busy and appeared to be under a lot of pressure sadly.
We had a few drinks which were good, but our food never arrived. After about 40 mins I asked about it and was told it was on the way, acknowledging it was busy we went back to our drinks but popped to the supermarket in the mean time just in case, after an hour I asked again and was told 5 mins, it never came. at 1 hour 30 I asked for a refund, which I did get but we were disappointed not to have been able to eat with our drinks.

Very disappointing, ordered 2 meals and although they were quiet, it was a big wait. When they arrived, the pesto pasta had no signs or flavour of any pesto. Then after a little bit, we found a metal shaving in the food. We sent it back and they said they would make another one, by the time it arrived all meals and drinks were finished, just as this one was starting. A real shame as the location and character has a lot of potential but you still have to follow through with good service

This little gem of a restaurant truly lives up to its high Google rating. As a connoisseur of Indian food, I was impressed by the quality of the dishes. Just came back from dinner here with my partner, and it was amazing. The curries we ordered were so delicious and flavourful, and the curry and rice servings were so generous. I barely made a dent in my main because I was so full, which is great because it’ll make great leftovers! I was given to-go containers and a bag too which was very helpful. My partner finished all of his can’t stop talking about how delicious is was. The naan, roti, mango lassi, shots and samosas were so delicious too. On top of the great food, the staff and the owner Andy were hospitable and so kind. Highly recommend coming here!!
The curries were authentic and absolutely delicious, in fact I’m already planning to have the Creamy Dal Makhni again (made with black beans cooked in butter and cream). No awful sugar-filled mall style curries here!

What a great find for a quick snack after a surf. Amazing service and delicious toasted sandwich. I had the pesto and mozzarella. Good value and a filling feed. Not a lot of seating but we found a table for four no problem. Easy takeaway option to go and eat by the estuary nearby.

Had our first visit to Bad Brother today and was beyond thrilled we stopped in. I had a Buffalo Ranch Chicken on Brioche and my son had the Mozzarella, Pesto, and Chorizo Toastie. Both sandwiches were loaded with fillings and super flavourful. The owner was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Thanks team.

My partner and i had a single smashed burger and a cripsy chicken burger, with a hot chocolate and iced white. BEST BURGERS we've had in a long time!! And the coffee was really good, perfectly extracted and had a nice flavour to it. Cheers guys for the good feed and friendly service!

If you are looking for clubbing this is a go to place .. the groove ,music and the beats will never stop your legs from moving.. the DJ’s are awesome.. sometimes if you are lucky the party goes on till late .. There would be a small cover charge for entry but it’s totally worth it .. there is good snacking options too .. overall it’s a very nice place .. did have a wonderful time and would recommend to check it out
Extremely long wait on Sunday afternoon. Four coffees all Luke warm. Burritos looked okay. Loaded fries cold, cheese not even melted after at least half hour wait. No access for my dad's wheelchair. Won't be visiting again sorry.
We went on a Wednesday and they had an open mic night which was awesome with many different acts.
The potato curry was spicey but delicious.
Only improvements would be the addition of a lager on tap and some cushion on the seating. Service was lovely.
Such a relaxed, friendly, welcoming space. Beautiful friendly, happy staff. And the wrap was one of the best! With hash brown and falafel. Easy 5 star for me xx

Cool little hidden spot for a coffee or a drink and bite to eat. Located down a fun lane with good options for outdoor or indoor seating. Fun creative decor and great coffee at affordable prices with friendly service. Would love to come back and check out the evening vibe.

I'm surprised there are no reviews for this tiny place at the end of the town. I had thee most beautiful fish & egg burger ever..cost $10 +$2 with an egg..but it was a larger size bun. My man had a BBQ beef burger & he loved his too..glad we didn't order chips as we were full just with the burgers. Highly recommend!!!

Had to wait over an hour for a burger and chip. The burger was amazing and the young Asian cook that’s there was really great, but the owner was really rude to people watched him watch straight past people with their orders that were clearly waving out to him and seen at least 5 people ask for refunds because it was taking to long. Plus she completely stuffed up one family’s order when they had been waiting over and hour and a half and they ended up walking out after not getting half of the food they had paid for
Had to wait 1 hour & 20 minutes for food, would have no doubt been longer if I didn't query the bloke at the front who went out back and swiftly sorted it out. Appeared to have misplaced the order somewhere in the 4 feet from the counter to the cook. Happened to so many others waiting, was a shambles. The burgers were OK but were rather over priced. Will not be back.
Just came here for dinner due to Joe's being closed- wish we hadn't.
Young girl on the front counter served us with a lollipop hanging out of her mouth and seemed like she didnt want to be there at all.
Food didn't take too long to come out but we were SO disappointed in the quality considering the price was incredibly high.
Definitely won't be coming back sorry team ✌️
Best takeaways in Raglan - Just good value! Fried chicken is awesome, burgers are big and fulling for only $10. Hope these guys stick around. Takeaways with a Japanese twist that always delivers on taste. You guys need to get a website
My grilled fish was great, came with a lemon wedge and capers, was juicy and tasty. Crispy chips. Will be my go to as very quick service.

The menu boasts an array of options, including seaweed salad, Mikey specials, inari, aloha rolls, and even spam musubi. Diners rave about the quick service and friendly staff who enhance the overall experience.
Such amazing sushis ! One of the best I had since a long time. A must try when you come in Raglan.
We also took a Don tofu that was really good.

This is incredibly overpriced, for two people it was $52 for our selection - which would normally be around $30 at a normal place. The sushi was nice but nothing special, avoid this due to the price unless you are a) starving or b) so rich that you dont care about price.

Nice big pieces compared to what you would usually expect, but also more expensive than you’d expect ($25 for 8 pieces). We went on a Sunday and I think the sushi wasn’t freshly made BUT the service was good..!
Food is average. Staff is friendly. Tables were gross and sticky. The staff must think the back of the restaurant is their storage closet.

Nice spot for lunch. Sushi options can be a bit limited but the bowls are made quickly and are tasty.
