Nestled conveniently near Plaza 25 de Mayo, Aisito offers a delightful dining experience that captures the essence of local culture. Guests can choose to dine al fresco along the charming cobblestone streets or within the vibrant interior of the restaurant. The ambiance is enhanced by live traditional music performed by an energetic group, creating a lively yet cozy atmosphere. Patrons rave about the generous and flavorful dishes, with highlights including llama stew and their signature lomo Aisito.
We came here from the recommendation of a local and we were not disappointed. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We ordered a few things from the menu and everything was delicious (humita, tamale, empanadas, salad). The space is nicely decorated and they had live music the night we went. Highly recommend!

Overall, the restaurant is very nice. The food was authentic and also quite good. I only didn't like the bread. It was stale and generic. The only downsides were price (paying more than $25 per person is in the upper range of Argentinian restaurants, even more so in Jujuy), and service. Unlike the vast majority of restaurants I went to in Jujuy (and even in Buenos Aires), the personally had a very detached attitude. Not sure why but it detracted a bit from the experience. I liked next-door Pachamanka better.
AGG — Google review
Attractive place with dim lighting, candle light, great live music ($3000pp added to the bill) and friendly service. Large selection of wines at the more expensive side to what we usually go for but the jarra of house red was all good. We got the queso de cabra starter which was nice. It was a subtle flavour cheese garnished with a lentil sauce, cherry tomatoes and basil. There could’ve been more of the garnishings but we also could’ve asked. For the mains we had the quinoa risotto and fillet of llama Aisito, both were lovely! First time trying llama. It’s a tougher meat but really enjoyed!
Gianni B — Google review
A pleasant atmospheric restaurant with good calm music, paintings on the walls, and an excellent selection of wine. Strongly recommended.
Anton L — Google review
There are places (fortunately not many) where the service is noticeably worse and less attentive to a single diner than to a couple or group. Unfortunately this was one of those places. The food was good but not as excellent as I expected from a place like this and at this price.
Gad T — Google review
The interior with the colorful, local tablecloths is very pleasant. The food is delicious. We had dinner here twice. I had llama steak and it was amazing. For this I would give 6 starts if I could. Three things overshadowed the experience. 1. Lack of menu in English and English speaking staff. (We are used to that by now, so this was minor.) 2. Very hard time paying with card due to internet problems. 3. Entertainment from 9 pm on, that one has to pay extra for. It sounded like fun for locals, but was definitely too much for us, non-Spanish speakers. The musician between two songs was just talking and talking in the microphone in the room that is too small for an amplifier. It was so loud and intrusive, we could not talk to each other, just wanted to finish our meal quickly and get out as soon as possible. As the food was so good, we came back the second evening, coming early to avoid the "entertainment". We finished our meal and were getting out just as the singing started, but we still were charged the music surcharge. We felt cheated.

Best locro this side of the Capricorn Tropic! Great house salad and impeccable service (gracias a Guadalupe!).
Laurent G — Google review
The best restaurant and service we have had while in Argentina. We had the llamas steak (medium rare), the quinoa risotto, and super salad. We had an amazing wine call Cactus Tannat 2021 which was fantastic and will visit this winery tomorrow. They had live music which was perfect for the atmosphere and the service was intimate and focused on us. Would eat here again and again if I lived local.

The guy serving was very nice! Quiet location. Very nice patio. The lemonade was very nice. The empanada was great.

The lunch menu of day (3 courses for 12,000 ARS) was reasonably priced and with large portions. However, the food was very average and nothing special. Service was friendly from the young guys.

Really nice local restaurant in Humahuaca! The food was really good and people were super nice!
Mariana R — Google review
I went there for a coffee - the guy who served me was very patient with my poor Spanish and worked out that i was wanting a coffee called jarrito in this part of Argentina. It's like a double sized espresso. When it came it was very very good - I'm from New Zealand so I know good coffee :-) I think probably the best I've had so far in my 2 weeks of travelling. Nice environment with art on the walls, clean and bright - Free Wifi also... Muchas Gracias

Unfortunately the place has a total infestation of flies. Employees can at least spend some effort to eliminate pests
Jason L — Google review
The place looks really nice and has a cute garden. What a pity how they serve you! We ordered white wine and water and got glasses only for wine which were extremely dirty and the bottle of wine was warm, so we asked for ice to make the wine colder and got a bowl with ice cubes to put it into the glass instead of something to make the bottle cooler! No glasses for water. And the wine was horrible quality. We paid and left without finishing the bottle. The waiter doesn't care at all. Definitely not worthy to visit.

Bueno bonito barato. We had a very tasty three course meal, ate in the patio weich had a really nice vibe. Very recomendable!

Nice setting, we ordered the special that came with a single empanada each to start with, our mains (I ordered the cannelloni and my husband ordered a Bolivian dish) and dessert. The meals are massive and both tasty.

Muy rico! The food was delicious. We had to wait a bit long, but I think the guy was alone for the whole service and also for the cooking. It was really good. ☺️

I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant. it is very expensive for the bad food. I don't understand why there are so many good reviews on here. Look at the photo. A musician came begging for money, the meat came unsalted alone on the plate. the salad came without a sauce and there was no oil or salt on the table. I advise everyone to go to this restaurant. there are much better options in the village.

When exploring Northern Argentina, a visit to Pachamanka Restaurante is an absolute must for anyone craving authentic local cuisine. Nestled in the heart of Humahuaca, this vibrant eatery is easily accessible from nearby hostels and radiates positive energy with its colorful decor. Diners rave about the traditional dishes that are both simple and incredibly flavorful. During my visit, I indulged in a delightful empanada filled with cheese and quinoa, perfectly fried to golden perfection.
Excellent food, great service, and much attention to detail. The menu covers regional cuisine and other Latin American cuisines. Everything is prepared and presented masterfully. The ingredients are fresh and the food is made fresh. A very nice surprise in such a small town. Must visit.

Had a nice dinner in this restaurant. The food was ok, being traditional and regional meals. The prices are very good value with good sized portions. The young man serving was very helpful and the only one running all the tables. He did an excellent excellent job. The food did take quite a while to come to the table despite the restaurant being half full at best.
Morgyn R — Google review
The menu has vegan alternatives, which is a lot in the area. The quinoa risotto was very tasty. They also offer a vegan quinoa empanada with tasty sauces. They bring bread with plant based dips also. They have a very good wine selection from the wineries of the quebrada.

Nice dining room and the service is good too. The dishes are well presented and very tasty. We ordered some wine as well, so of course, the price per person increased. Paying by cash and you'll have a discount 👍

Amazing discovery!!! Absolutely fantastic food - mixture of tradition of the Andes with new tastes and sabores. We were amazed by the quality of the food. The bread coming with the salad was in different colours, like the mountains of the Quebrada. Definitely worth a Michelin star 👏👏👏

Absolutely delicious food. I came back for a second time and it was worth it. Excellent staff, friendly and ready to explain everything about food. Wonderful aromas and tastes from this region. If you want to discover Sth new about the food in Jujuy, this place is highly recommended to visit for a lunch!

This place serves some unique traditional food with local ingredients - great if you want something different. We had the quinoa and cheese stuffed peppers, llama roll and lamb ravioli - all were delicious. There are vegan and gluten free options too. Recommend to visit if you’re in Humahuaca!
Josephine L — Google review
The place was not even busy as I came for a late lunch having seen the reviews for the quinoa and yet the service was dull and slow. Quinoa risotto with mushrooms is ok but there are hardly any mushrooms. Compared to La Casona in San Pedro de Attacama this was a huge disappointment and was expensive. …and don’t bother ordering the churros as they don’t come with the spiced chocolate sauce that folks on here have been raving about…when I questioned the staff they denied it and said only churros and no chocolate sauce - RIDICULOUS! …in fact the churros themselves were DISGUSTING - cold and stale - not even the sugar that they were drenched in could hide the taste…that spiced chocolate sauce they use to do must have been amazing! Apparently they use to do a Peña (live music) though this does not happen anymore. Sad to say that it looks like this place has gone downhill. Fortunately there is Asaido which is a couple of doors down and serves outstanding humita, lama casserole, Dulce leche cake. The Regional Menu is a good at A$3400. The Peña at lunch and dinner is OUTSTANDING!

The chicken milanesas with fries at Pinocho Restaurante are incredibly tasty. The tamales are also delicious. I wanted to sample the Yama Neapolitan, but unfortunately, it took an hour and I had to leave. Occasionally, there is live regional music playing which adds a charming touch to the atmosphere, although it can be too loud for those seeking a peaceful lunch. Additionally, Pinocho Restaurante occasionally features traditional beats from the Churos changos group.
Cheap, tasty food. I recommend milanesa de pollo

Pinocho Restaurante offers good food and is definitely worth a stop if you're visiting Humahuaca. Prices are on the higher side, especially for locals, but the portions are decent and the quality is solid. If you're a tourist and not too picky, you'll eat well and enjoy the experience. Restaurant El Fortín offers a delightful dining experience that combines hearty, traditional dishes with a warm family atmosphere. Guests can indulge in generous portions of llama and lamb casserole, featuring real meat rather than just bones, which sets it apart from other eateries. The meal typically includes an appetizer, main course, and dessert at a reasonable price—drinks are extra. While enjoying your lunch, you can soak in the ambiance created by local musicians playing live music for added entertainment without any additional fees.
We arrived after the crowds for a very late lunch so there was no atmosphere but at least it was quiet. We had the menu touristico at 10000 pesos and it was excellent. La cazuela de llama y cordero con verdaderos trozos de carne(y no sólo de huesos, como en otros sitios). Música muy buena, aunque no tucán mucho tiempo. (Translated by Google) We were there in May, impossible to forget the excellent food and service! We started with some delicious meat empanadas (which we later had to repeat) and then with two salads. Pure magic of flavors! For dessert, a roasted apple, and to finish they treated us to some homemade "poisons." Thank you very much for having created such perfect combinations of flavors, accompanied by a magical atmosphere and attention as if you were among friends. (Original) Estuvimos ahí en Mayo, imposible olvidarse de la excelente comida y la atención! Unfortunately, La Tuna Restaurante only had one waitress who was overwhelmed with the tasks at hand. Despite that, it is still highly recommended as an excellent establishment with delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant attracts many foreigners who seemed to enjoy their experience there. The menu offers a variety of homemade dishes such as pizza matambito and ravioli, which are all prepared to perfection.
Great local restaurant in Humahuaca. We had a good lunch here. The Milanesa sandwich was perticularly phenomenal. Such a rich mix of fresh flavours on a crispy sandwich. Highly recommended for lunch! The vegetarian quinoa salad was tasty and fresh. It was not so busy when we visited the restaurant, so service was quick.

Very nice place with a varied menu, we got the llama milanesa, qinoa stew and garden salad. I would not recommend getting the salad since it was quite expensive compared to other items ok the menu and not really worth it. The other food was very good. Someone came and played some nice music and sang which was a nice touch.

Nice Family run restaurant. Walked in with 1 table occupied and half way through lunch it was pretty full. The empanadas here are fried and had curry giving a yellow colour, which I was not expecting at all.
Aziz B — Google review
The food here was dreadful. I had the pepper steak and papas. It took a long time and when it arrived it looked like black and white slop on a plate. The potatoes weren’t cooked and were swimming in white sauce and the meat was also swimming in sauce. Left most of it. My partner had the chicken pasta and did not enjoy it. Was surprised given the reviews but would not recommend

Good place for a coffee. Slow service, great veggie empanadas 🥟 of quinoa and maiz. Would go back but I can't give 5 stars to it

Very bad... we asked the menu of 850, that is an empanada, as main dish, we had pasta with a "sauce" if you can call it like that. No savor it was just a pure of tomato... as for the empanada as for the dish we heard the microwave going so suppose it was from mid-day or not fresh... I will definitely not recomend it...

1 star because we can’t give 0. We got there at noon and for the menu del dia they didn’t have one of the 2 options and didn’t have the postre. We ordered empanadas instead (which is also the entrada of the menu del dia) and it took the lady 45 minutes to come and tell us that they didn’t have empanadas. We were there for more than 1h because they never came to took our order at the beginning and left without eating anything. Very frustrating that if took them so long to let us know they didn’t have the food.
