I ordered the shrimp pasta with ouzo, and it was hands down the best shrimp pasta I’ve had — not just in Greece, but in any restaurant! The flavors were incredible. My husband had the beef steak, which was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The portion sizes were very generous, especially considering the reasonable prices. The service was warm, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. We’re already looking forward to coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Great little place by the beach with wonderful and very welcoming staff. They place faces the beach, where they also have umbrellas and Sunbeds (12 euros for 2 Sunbeds and the umbrella as of June 2024). They serve all meals. The menu has a little bit of everything, mostly seafood. They have a section with specialities of Karpathos. The daily catch is in display.

The food was accurate, very tasty and not pretentious, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, And its location in a small and beautiful fishing port!! I wish I had another two weeks where I could check and taste the whole menu!! Definitely a restaurant I will return to, Amen!!

You never know what to expect from seaside restaurants, but here the food absolutely matches the views. Amazing calamari and typical shrimps, paired with tasty wine. To round up the experience, the home made courtesy desert was one of the best we had in our 10 days in Greece. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Had their breakfast here. Eggs with hash brown and orange juice. Nothing too spectacular, good food but not great. Has a beautiful view of the water and a great ambiance. Recommended if you want an okay meal with a nice view.

Server was friendly and responsive. Facilities and location are of the best in Pigadia. Don’t order food here, ever. It’s hands down the worst meal I have had in Karpathos in my 40 years of visiting. Mediocre to zero flavor. It was like bad American fast food. They weren’t even busy so there is no excuse. The food “looked” terrific but sorry, get a new chef and kitchen. Get a frape and an ice cream instead. I regret spending the money.

This is right on the beach so when you drink a coffee or something you can enjoy an amazing view to the sea and to the port 😍 It’s perfect place for have a coffee or drink a cocktail or eat a delicious cake. Here you can eat hamburger and salad as well. The owner is really kind, he often talk with his customers. I love having a coffee here and just watching that amazing view and daily life of Pigadia 💙

It was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious. The best i’ve had on this island. I had the chicken pesto, very taste. I’d defiently recommend. Also the servise was perfect. The staff don’t try and lure you into their restaurant. They are very respectful and kind.

A bar close to the port and people seemed to like hanging in this bar. Went to check out a couple of times what the fuss is about. It seemed that there is a large tv playing sports and pretty young ladies serving drinks was the attraction. The service was great but also it took a long time to make a simple drink or just one omelette.

Day 1: Head to Agnanti for breakfast for a high protein start to the day. We probably won’t need lunch! We could even return for dinner or late night snack because the basically only close for six hours from around midnight.

Can’t fault this place. Arrived in Pigadia today and same here for a casual coffee and WiFi. Service was attentive and I ended up getting their specialty Agnanti coffee which was very good. Also a bagel which was only 4€ and very tasty. WiFi good too! Came back for evening cocktails as they had a lovely vantage point for sunset. Had 3 frozen cocktails, all excellent. My favourite was the mango daiquiri. Lovely staff. Very nice vibe morning and night. Good people watching too.

A wonderful place for brunch and all day breakfast. They make the dough for their sandwiches on their own and it is really great! Best Panini dough I have ever tried!Top recommendation for Pigadia. The only reason why I put a 4/5 is to raise attention because we got the waiters in a middle of an internal heated discussion / fight which was unpleasant. It’s a petty for the enormous effort the entire team seems to have put.

Nuevo Karpathos was an astonishingly good late breakfast place. I did not even consider it that there, on a small island, could be a place like this! My absolute favorite was the chicken omelette, it had many fillings that lasted for hours! I had to try Karpathian Breakfast, too. It was great but too much food! 😂 The service was impeccable and every time I was treated like a special guest. The price level? A very good omelette and a large beer, 15 euros. Karpathian Breakfast with beer, 50 cents less. Go and enjoy! It was THAT good!

One of the best place to dine and wine in Karpathos. If not the very best place. Rarely give five stars, but this place deserves it. We tried several of other restaurants in Karpathos, but non could compete with Nuevo. Staff are friendly, but not intrusive. Always a happy face and make sure that you have a very pleasant stay. When it comes to the food, they are in class of their own. We tried several of different courses, all very tasty and nicely plated. Price wise, they are not the cheapest but not expensive either. Well worth every penny. Give them a try, you won't get disappointed.

Beautiful location, but very disappointing experience. We were served a risotto that was extremely salty. When we mentioned it, the staff said we could get 50% off since we had eaten some of it — but we never received that discount. In fact, we were charged full price and didn’t even get a receipt. We were not offered anything else to eat, so we left hungry. The staff claimed the saltiness came from truffles, but as people familiar with truffles, we know they add umami – not excessive salt. Our feedback was poorly handled, and it felt like they just wanted us to leave instead of finding a proper solution. So we left the place hungry that night. Disappointing service overall, and they never came and asked how the food was after they served it. They seem to busy.

Very good food & coffee for good prices! The service was also super friendly. They didn‘t have a vegan option on the menu so I asked about one and they created an oatmeal pancake with fruits, jam and peanut butter for me that tasted absolutely amazing!

When you visit Karpatho dont make the mistake and miss tasting the amazing ice cream with waffles from this place. Something that is remarkable is that all the people that working in this place welcome you with a big smile and give you the best service. Had a wonderful American pancake breakfast here among the locals. Lovely fresh orange juice and great Greek coffee too. We will definately visit this place a few times more during our holiday in Arkasa.

Great place to try out a nice selection of greek or imported beers. Also a big selection of drinks and finger food/snacks. Playing good rock music and had a good chat about their beers and tried a special tequila. Last day of opening for this season is tomorrow!

I haven’t been to Karpathos in 15 years, so when I visited this summer, I tried dozens of different places. I must say that Asteri cafe was one of the most consistent. They had a bouzoukia night on mondays and fridays with a lively nightlife! i wouldn’t miss a bouzoukia night. The music, greek tapas and atmosphere was all great. The owner is always there, so you know you’re going to be taken care of, every time. They also make the best Freddo espresso & frappe that I would get on my way to the beach every morning. Thank you Asteri cafe for everything, I will see you again next summer!

Decent lattes, big plates of healthy dishes (many options - the menu was huge), super sweet owners, and an energetic atmosphere (Brazilian house mix). Everything was also reasonably priced - cheaper than the main seaside drag. We went several times.
