Charming restaurant that you can access from one of the quaint side streets or directly from the square. We stopped after meandering the old town for several hours for a drink. I sat down and said to my friend "I'd like a lemonade" and there were 2 on the menu but neither was available. However, two special lemonades were available, one with lavender and one with rose. Both delicious and refreshing.

By far the best food we had on Crete – highly recommended! Absolutely fantastic experience at Lemonokipos! The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was honestly outstanding – I’ve never had grilled calamari this tender and flavorful, and the octopus was just as impressive. The setting under the old plane trees is beautiful and adds to the authentic Greek atmosphere. If it didn’t take us 1.5 hours to get there, I would seriously eat here every single day.

I had heard about their famous lemon tart and stopped by to sample it. Wow! It could well be the best lemon meringue tart/pie I've ever had (and I've tried many). The friendly manager/owner recommended a glass of wine to go with it and it was a perfect duo. The courtyard setting under the trees is lovely too.

The atmosphere was lovely and the service was nice. However we ordered fish of the day and it was incredibly pricy for the portion. Also for the 3 pieces of vegetables we did get - they felt frozen. The small amount of the fish was tasty.

A very nice and trendy cafe with impressive Christmas decor. The place offers good sweet and savoury pastries and pies. It is a good place for breakfast. Beware that the place is very popular and gets crowded, it is often hard to find a table. There can also be a lot of smoke and noise.

Really nice place to go and enjoy your brunch , nice atmosphere and most important of all very tasty food! The ingredients were fresh and our coffee good. Service was fast and the staff very polite. For sure I'll go again

Bankery is a fun place to grab a coffee and sweet treat! It's decorated in a really fun way, and the waiters are also dressed with the theme. The place can get quite loud, so it's not the idea place to work (unless you love loud places), but it's fun to sit and enjoy a coffee or chat with friends. The energy is lively, so it's not a quiet coffee shop. Also, smoking is allowed indoors, which is very typical in Greece.

What a fantastic meal. With a mostly attentive staff. About the only drawback is that the "inside" is really the inside and outside patio as one giant area that you can smoke cigarettes right beside a table in the non smoking area, that part sucked. However we will go back.

My American family of four that included an 11 and 13 year old was craving a big breakfast. We had been hanging out in Old Town every day and hadn't seen anything that would fit the bill. Then we saw photos on Trip Advisor and decided to give The Bankery a try. No, it's not The Bakery. It's Bankery because it used to be a bank, and still has the huge vaulted door downstairs!) It took awhile to get noticed by the wait staff once seated, but then they were so nice and so attentive! The kids had a lovely plate of eggs and bacon, and my husband and I shared the Variety Breakfast Platter for two. It was fabulous! A ton of food with a great selection of Cretan favorites and traditional American/ British choices. It was way too much for two so the kids shared and we brought the rest back to our villa. In addition, I had been craving some "American" style drip or filtered coffee. Couldn't find it anywhere. Here at Bankery I finally found it. Even better, it came in a great big glass mug that I could add all the creamer I wanted. I cried with delight I was so happy. I even ordered a second, it was so good. The manager and wait staff were very friendly and just couldn't do enough for us. We appreciated the free refills of cold clean bottled water as it was a hot day outside. In addition, the setting and decor was really hip and happening with good music. It would be a nice trendy bar if it were in Chicago. Yet there were lots of children present. The only thing that deterred from our enjoyment was that our table was surrounded by heavy smokers, but A) that is the culture, B) as Americans we're just not exposed to that anymore so it takes getting used to, and C) we were seated outside so that helped to dissipate the smoke. Lastly, the bill was incredibly reasonable for all the freshly squeezed juices and food that was ordered. All in all we had a great visit and we are so glad we stopped here.

A good choice for coffee and breakfast for two. Good location, right in the heart of Rethymnos. Although the service is quite friendly, they allow smoking in the cafe, which is quite annoying for the non smoking customers!!!!!!!!

This cafe is situated next to Rimondi Fountain, with natural shade. The service is excellent, and the drinks are very tasty and refreshing, especially the homemade lemonades. The food, however, is not very special. We had grilled calamari for lunch, which was quite chewy. Waiting time for food was over 30min. Overall, the cafe is a nice place to visit.

We stopped by Café Galero for a quick drink before dinner at another restaurant, and it turned out to be a lovely little surprise. The drinks were well-made and tasty, and the service remained friendly and efficient—even as our large group trickled in at different times. It’s a beautifully designed spot with a relaxed vibe, and I honestly would’ve liked to stay a bit longer.

The famous cafe in Rethimno, where we had a cappuccino at the beginning of the day, just arriving in Rethimno from Chania. It's a very nice place and you can also have snacks here, you could have a frugal lunch or a light dinner.

We had some break from exploring Rethymno and service are excellent but food was really bad we wait almost 40 minute and then we get our grilled calamari which was so chewy… but service and drink are amazing

We stopped by Galero for a late lunch. The food was top notch, the location is excellent, about halfway to most of the prominent landmarks. They also have a wide selection of beer both draught and bottled.

We had breakfast here sat out the front under the shady vines. The coffees and orange juices were both good. We shared the English Breakfast. I had the bacon and eggs. My wife ate the toast and jam.

A great spot for a vacation night out – lively atmosphere all around. Wide variety of food and cocktails, football on TV, a DJ spinning popular hits at the bar, hookah — what more could holidaymakers need? There’s a big cocktail selection — we tried a lemon twist on a Negroni, which was quite tasty. Also had a Greek salad, and everything was at a solid level. Special mention goes to the friendly and attentive service — thank you!

A hidden gem for breakfast, Cul de Sac is tucked away in a beautiful, quiet alley in Rethymno's Old Town. Their traditional Cretan breakfast is a must-try, featuring thick, creamy Greek yogurt drizzled with local honey, fresh seasonal fruit, and warm, flaky pastries. The freshly squeezed orange juice and rich, aromatic coffee perfectly complement the meal. Service is wonderfully friendly and attentive, making you feel instantly welcome. It's an authentic and utterly delicious start to any day in this charming city.

The food here is amazing. We had the beef tacos, Greek salad, baguette with ham cheese, mayo and fries. The salad came without capers and Olives but it was quickly rectified when mentioned. The cappuccino and flat white were the best we've had on the island (so far). The toilets are pristine too. Nice place in a great location 👍 🌮☕️

Went to Ali Vafis garden after dinner for a drink. Stunning outdoor courtyard with lots of greenery, nice moody lights and chill tunes. Big cocktail menu with wine and beer selections. Super nice place for a drink once the sun goes down! Didn’t eat here but the menu look decent. Nice little haven after being on the bustling streets all day!

It is quite hidden to find at first but has the beautiful garden to have a nice view while eating your lunch or dinner. Because it is outside so I recommend to come for dinner after sunset for the most comfortable feeling. During lunch time, it is quite hot. We ordered Rooster and Traditional Cretan pasta skioufihta. Both are really good. The food definitely is out of our expectation in the better way. The staff is helpful and caring enough.

The atmosphere is great; the restaurant is located in a quiet back garden, making it very quiet. The garden is also beautifully decorated. The food is good and average, nothing special. The service staff didn't seem very motivated, which was a shame. I think there's definitely still a lot of potential for improvement in the service department.

Ali Vafi’s Garden is a beautiful spot in the heart of Rethymno’s Old Town where you can finally escape the busy streets and relax in a truly elegant setting. They serve some of the better beers and well-made cocktails in town, perfect for a quiet evening out. We’ve had food here in the past — while I can’t recall every detail, it was definitely good and never disappointing. If you’re looking for a place with class, a relaxed vibe, and quality drinks, Ali Vafi’s Garden is absolutely worth a visit.

Atmosphere was very nice, quiet with an internal terrace. That was for the good part. (That’s the 2 stars) Service was excruciatingly slow and poor. For a salad and couple of sides, we had to wait over 30 minutes. Same for our coffees, although ordered as soon as we arrived, took 20 minutes to come. Not particularly pleasant experience with the server. Regarding the food , well, it’s the first and only time we went to a greek restaurant that had no tomatoes, which automatically removed a lot of options from the menu (special mention to the comment when asked if there was a possible replacement of the tomato by something in the same dish “what’s the point?”. Additionally this was only mentioned to us after ordered rather than when giving us the menu. Taking into account the wait time between visits from the service, it made the whole sitting a painfully slow experience. Food was relatively pleasant, but nothing special or extraordinary. The only part that went fast was for getting the bill, which was overpriced for the quality of the experience. Every other place we went to during our trip (over 10) was better. I personally would only come back for a talk around a coffee for a slow morning or afternoon, definitely would not recommend if you’re only there for a day or two.

Nothing to do with Crete. Very tired waiters waiting for the season to end. Even they tried their best to be nice and polite. A mutated Greek salad with capers a salty to death feta cheese. Greek salad with cherry tomatoes and normal tomatoes. No paprika no olives . Supposed pickled onions that you had to dig in it to find them. No salt and pepper in the tables No olive oil. The waiter was coming with an almost empty bottle of olive oil to drop it in what we had ordered. Waited 45 minutes for my plate when the place was not so busy when all the rest of the table was eating and since it took so long I thought would be something special . It reminded everything but not a Rooster and the mashed potato was far from a mashed potato. 4 stars only for the service since they really looked tired and they did all their best to be gentle and polite. After all was not a nice experience and didn't remind a cretan Hospitality.

We go there for breakfast 7 days. Friendly and nice personnel. Super espresso (with one of the best Italian brand), delicious toasts and fresh orange juices. We started the days in the best way! We definitely recommend it!

We get a very large meal for a good price. The burger is too salty for me, but the salad is nice.

Satisfying brunch expetience. Good service and atmosphere. Food is a thing of personal preference, bagle with avocado, bacon and scrambled egg was good - but addition of more salt, a little mayo and maybe a twist of lemon would be to my personal tast. Recommend for a coffee and a quick bite.

Really nice place for families with kids. There's a small play area in the cafe and a bigger playground just outside. Also very cheep place for a snack, but not so cheap for coffee.

Nice variety of brunch/breakfast options, coffees and desserts! Very good portions and nice atmosphere. We tried the Japanese pancakes for the first time here and it was delicious! Despoina (our waitress) took very good care of us but all the staff were friendly as well. The place can be quite busy at times but we were able to find a spot just by dropping in.

BARRIO – a place that makes you addicted… That’s what my boyfriend told me after trying the chocolate brownie and banana bread here. I didn’t believe him. And so we went together… Today we enjoyed a breakfast for two (they gifted us fresh juice and coffee — soooo sweet!) And that’s where it all began… First, we looked at each other, then at one another again, and back at each other… We couldn’t believe that this breakfast, kindly described to us by a girl with an angelic voice, would be so… so… exceptional. But even then, we had no idea what kind of gastronomic adventure awaited us. The fried egg with bacon was a classic. But the sausage… the sausage deserves first place among all sausages in the world (perhaps even in our galaxy)! This sausage makes you close your eyes and dream of only one thing — that when you open them, you’ll realize you haven’t eaten it all and can keep enjoying it! Forgive me, dear mister from Krakow who’s been grilling sausages for locals and tourists for 20 years — your sausage has now moved to second place, while yours (Barrio’s) has taken the top spot in my world sausage ranking!!! The pancakes melted in our mouths, the delicious jam, the honey, and the bread that reminded us of a colorful infinity of taste… Thank you again and again, to every single member of Barrio for your talented work. P.S. We’ll be back — and we won’t be coming alone…

Amazing service through our short visit to get ice cream. The staff was much more friendly and welcoming than the other resturants we have been to. Nice cream like any other ice cream but could have had wished for lower price per scoop ( 2€ )

Very disappointed. We were charged 10€ for the sunbed although we left after 15 min. The young lady responsible for the beach service failed to tell us that if overpassing 10 minutes we have to pay the charge for the entire day. Definitely I will not recommend to anyone neither will get back there.

Zero stars for the way we were treated. We went to your beach. The young girl responsible for the beach service told us we have to pay for the sunbeds (10 euros) and we have to pay for everything else we are ordering. A lot of other beaches offer free sunbeds if you are ordering drinks or food. We ended up staying because my boyfriend had a problem with his foot and he had to seat down. We left after 15 minutes as he didn't feel okay and she still charged us 10 euros without giving us any receipt.BEWARE!! ZERO customer service, so zero stars. We paid for something we did not use (the young girl failed to tell us at the beginning that when overpassing 10 min we have to pay the 10 euros) For us were the most expensive sunbeds we paid for. NOT GETTING BACK THERE FOR SURE NEITHER WOULD RECOMMEND THE PLACE TO ANYBODY.

Bought two ice-creams, both tasted like the lowest quality ice-creams they could find to sell. Pistachio with fake green coloring and no real pistachio flavour. The staff was very welcoming on the other hand. But I would never buy ice cream from here even if they pay for my holiday.

Great brunch cafe, by-the-book barista coffee, large portions and reasonable prices. Usually busy in the morning, be prepared to wait a bit for the food. Also if you're befuddled like I was by the missing faucets in the lavatory - look downward for a pedal :)

Worst experience of my stay in Crete! Ordered an omlette and an avo toast. Literally took 40 min to bring the food! 40 minutes of my vacation, wasted. For some of us, time is really precious! Not even for a dinner anywhere on the island waited so long ever, in more than 15 restaurants. Then guess what, the avo toast came with Hollandaise sauce on top (not written in the menu). As a lactose-free person, that s the last you want on your food. Plus some people wanna eat simple food, we dont want our food to float in questionnable sauces! I flagged the mistake, I asked what am I supposed to do now, wait another 40 min for another dish? I offered to pay the water and not pay my dish as they admitted the mistake, then I didnt want to pay for my mom s dish either as they completely ruined our meal and wasted our time. But the waiter insisted for me to pay the other dish "as there was no mistake in that" - even if we refused to touch the food at all. We talk about a 10 euro, untouched meal. Rudeness at its finest. Then of course she tried not to issue a receipt from the POS, asking: "why do you need the receipt? You have the transaction on your phone!" I will let other potential customers guess why I wanted the receipt. Hilarious experience!

The girl who prepares the coffees is so passionate about it and open to adapt to customers request! All she prepared for us was very good. We came here several days in a row. And the cakes were delicious. So did not have the chance to take a photo of them as we ate them fast :))). Great customer service.

Absolutely fabulous stop, close to the Thursday market, for a late breakfast. So much choice on the menu - of both food and drink - and it was served quickly, with a smile by our friendly waitress. The poached eggs were top notch. My yoghurt, fruit and granola bowl was delicious. Would recommend!

The place has really good schedules to have breakfast, doesn’t seem much but it is important because many cafes have no “plentiful breakfasts” or the restaurants just serve starting at lunch. We ordered some eggs Turkish style but the sauce was for my taste too acidic and was lacking a bit a salt, also my eggs were too cooked so they were not runny but next time I will try something else. The coffee was good and the prices are really fair. The service was friendly and fast.

I had the sweet potato toast, and it was delicious, highly recommended. Will come back for sure to try other toasts, maybe the pancakes that looked really good as well.

This had been my go-to place for a while. I love lots of choices on the menu. Recently though I had a bad experience that soured me on it. My 80 year old mom always joined me and always got the Chocolate croissant. Usually it was really good, but lately kind of spotty. The last time it was just really not edible. Mom very much hesitated to complain, but she did. Then a man came out and said that the croissant 'was always like this' and would not be dissuaded. I'm 100% sure that I know better. Yeah, fire that guy.

Wonderful spot!! This place has some incredible dishes - particularly their desserts. I wanted to try everything. I got a poached egg bagel and a large soft cookie... Super delicious. I highly recommend anyone with a sweet tooth to stop by here.

Cute little place, verrrry generous portions (consider sharing one plate). We both chose sweet options, but I was tormented as the savory ones also looked promising. Not expensive at all, and possible to take out the rest. Note: the bathroom is up some spiraling stairs. Nice settings, though it is along the road and you can hear the cars.

We went there for breakfast and coffee. I really enjoyed that it had TV screens showing football matches. It's an accessible place with very kind staff!

Really nice place in terms of view and location and vibe. But food was absolutely not worth its price. The bread with tomato and cheese was basically stone hard with watery tomato goosh and the portions were a joke. Nothing wrong with the coffee but not worth the price. The waiters felt very amateurish and didnt even say anything to us when we came in.

Honestly, one of the top restaurants in Rethimno. Great food with a wide variaty, nice staff and fair prices. The establishment is very modern with a panoramic vieuw at the sea!

Probably the best place in Rethymno to have Macedonian bougatsa. It is made with filo pastry and can be sweet (filled with custard cream) or savoury (filled with cheese, spinach or minced meat). The place is a take away. Except from bougatsa it sells various other pies, Thessalonian koulouri and coffee. The prices are normal and the place is certainly recommended.

Not a poshy place. But good fresh food and best quality coffee compared with coffe from more expensive bars and hotels in town. Family run business with heart and soul. Very decent prices. Not for picky people, but you can tell is the best place around quality versus price as many, many locals buy meals and drinks from here. Great Northern (Macedonian) flavors. The owner is a really cool guy, dedicated to his business. Modesty pays! Congrats!

A delightful local café for morning coffee and Bougatsa. The waitress greets every guest with 'Kalimera' and is very polite. The Greek coffee was excellent, the best I've had during my stay in Crete. Be sure to visit them and try their top-notch local specialties.

Really a wonderful place. After looking at Mark Wiens YouTube video that showed Bougatsa hit another city. I looked for her, and found one in the city, Rethymno. It is real thin pastry dough, along with either feta cheese or cream. The one with cream is served with powdered sugar and a little cinnamon. But this place has other delectable pastry grits. The main baker in the back, learned it from his grandfather, and taught his son , who also works there. It’s a lot of work, but a labor of love

We went here for the bougatsa and coffee. The staff were friendly and inviting and the bougatsa was delicious.

2,40€ for take away cappuccino is too much! additionally price list wasn't visible to costumers according to regulations. taste and coffee quality are really low which tastes more like warm water with coffee flavour. preparation of an excellent coffee needs far more than a nicely decorated environment and a friendly face and smiling personnel. improve all these and I m convinced you will have one of the best coffee shops in the city and in a place everyone needs perfectly located in the heart of a busy street

Great service, fresh products. I will say a slight better coffe than most places around. Here is great spot to sit and enjoy the coffe or maybe sandvich and watch the life.

Finding vegan food in Rethymnon has proved difficult, but here we stumbled across a vegan meze menu for 2, which we had to try. The food was simple and tasty, though perhaps a bit too simple for some of the dishes. They had a few other items in the menu that were also vegan. Friendly staff.

I went here twice during my stay in Rethimno. Staff were really attentive, I really got a sense that they cared that you had a good meal. I had the Cretan pancakes with honey and cinnamon the first day and the veg omelet the second day, both of which were extremely tasty and came out quickly! Great freddo cappuccinos as well. All that for what I feel were pretty reasonable prices.

We had the best breakfast ever here this morning! The omelette was perfectly cooked, but what truly blew me away was the salad dressing that came with it — fresh, flavorful, and incredibly unique. One of the charming tavernas nestled in the picturesque streets of Rethymnon’s old town caught our attention spontaneously, and it did not disappoint. The selection of traditional Greek mezes was diverse and delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Cretan salad, eggplant salad, feta saganaki, and freshly baked garlic bread – everything was excellently prepared and bursting with flavor. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the presence of many local guests added to the authentic atmosphere. The prices were also very reasonable. Absolutely recommended for an unforgettable evening!

The waiter was really friendly and helpful, the food was tasteful with a great view. They also include a complementary dessert and local snaps. It is expensive!! This is the worst part. You have a sea view...but well 45,00€ for two it is a bit too much. My opinion.

Ordered ceasar's salad and the dressing was gross... Also the tap water they serve was disgusting. Despite of that the place had nice vibes, good music and friendly waiters. Update: I revisited the place and there were many improvements. First of all they fixed the water issue and also everything we ordered arrived fast and was really delicious. Terrible service, waited incredibly long for drinks (2 of the same cocktail) which came with different volume of liquid in, a good mouthful of the cocktail was then spilled on the table by the staff which put splashes of red on my white polo. Overall just a bad experience. 2 star for the cocktail being tasty.

Absolutely amazing restaurant, as someone who travels to Crete every year, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The owners are the most kind and accommodating people, we made friends with the servers who were absolute amazing workers, and the environment is to die for! I would give 10 stars if I could, I came here multiple times this trip! The seafood linguine, the risotto and steak is amazing! (my personal fave) definitely check this place out, it feels like home ❤️

This is by far one of the best places for gluten free food. A lot of options from traditional greek cuisine to pasta and pizza. The staff are all very knowledgeable in regards to gluten allergies and the service is amazing. To understand how good the place is, we travelled every night 10km to eat there. We will definitely visit every chance we'll get while in Crete

me and my boyfriend came here three times in our week stay, whilst being at a all inclusive hotel, we found this place beacuse i am celiac and was looking for somewhere who provides for gluten free as our hotel didn’t, the food was absolutely incredible couldn’t fault it the portion sizes were amazing. the staff were brilliant very attentive and so so polite recognised us every time we came back. i would recommend this place to everyone. a big thank you to day night for making our holiday amazing.

Gluten free BEER 🍻 ✅ Served ice cold and a chilled glass 👏 They offer gluten free pastas and sauces as well, but we didn't try them. View of the harbor with a nice atmosphere and every single staff member made us feel very welcomed.

Disappointing experience. Ordered a tomahawk steak for two (€114 incl. two glasses of wine, a coke and a beer) which came with just six small potato wedges. We specifically asked for béarnaise sauce but were served pepper sauce instead. When we pointed it out, the replacement was a bad cheese sauce, not what we ordered. At this price point, the portion size and service accuracy were well below expectations. Would not recommend.

The place is not nice, services is also strange, they gave us menu with different prices than in the receipt. A lot of food on the menu they didnt have, and the food is not tasty. As we tried to explain to waiters about prices, they keep saying that they changed the prices in the menu, but it wasnt changed, then they said that they will change the price to the one like it was on the menu, but in the end they still charged us extra 30 cents, it's not a big amount, but still it was not nice to do that.

The best place to have perfect breakfast in Rethymno

Mammy's is great. Dine in, take out, or get a delivery. The quality and service are very good, and the pizzas are delicious. The crust is perfectly cooked with real pizza dough and local fresh ingredients on top. It really is one of the best pizza places in Rethymno, probably THE best. We go for the 'Classici' - sweet, fresh, home-grown tomatoes, ham, peppers, and cheese. Can't wait for the next one! Delivery is fast, and its always good value at Mammy's.

In my personal opinion, this is the best place for breakfast in Rethymno. Clean, hygienic and nice customer service. Menus, decor etc all are outstanding. Food was so fresh and nice :) I ordered tuna panini, garlic bread, fruit Juice and coffee. All are fantastic!

Ordered two meals, the bolognese was OK and showed up after 25 minutes, certainly nothing special. The margherita pizza on the other hand never showed up. After returning to the counter several times we were eventually told (after having been there almost an hour) there was an issue with their oven and the pizza wasn't coming, at which point we took a refund and left behind the remainder of the bolognese. There are several other places to eat in the area which have all had better food and better service, I highly recommend trying one of those instead.

Very straightforward and simple place, food is really nice and I definitely recommend eating here, and the prices are very cheap! Only problem is I've ordered food from here many times, and the delivery time is looong (still worth it though). But it's still a great place for eating in or getting takeout, the pancakes and pizza are def worth it, plus the staff were extremely helpful, even with my crazy "make a birthday cake out of pizza" order :D

Really good place for breakfast. Interior is great and modern. Food is tasty. Coffee is really delicious. Menu you can find by qr-code. Parking is around the building. Playground for children is near entrance to the cafe. A high chair for children can be provided. WC are clean. Also they have a hammock swing to relax totally. Busy place with locals & tourists. Plenty of parking. Accessible to get to tables, a couple of steps and ramp for wheelchair users. Good value for money. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Haven't tried dinner yet but I'm sure it will be good!

We passed by twice with a friend on my visit to Crete. The smoothies are tasty and they offer a big variety of them! The falafel was also a good choice for me. Although they don’t prepare it themselves it was pretty decent for a coffee shop. The next time we went we were taken care of by a man behind the counter who willingly let us customise our food orders although it would take him extra time. I appreciated it a lot!! When in Baki and want a breakfast I highly recommend coming to the terrace at Harbour Cafe for the best view in town, a welcoming staff and good food and drinks, we enjoyed it a lot. The place also have an evening option with drinks, good music and night view of Bali port. Don't miss it.

We went here for lunch/snacks and the view from the balcony was really beautiful. Service was nice but it took foreveeeeeer and we were the only ones in the restaurant so that was a little weird.

We Ordered 2 Pizzas today, and to say they were horrible is a compliment. They were inedible. The cheese tasted like it was Microwaved and the pizza dough tasted like cardboard. It was as if I was eating dog food. For 2 pizzas we waited over 25 minutes when there was no one else inside the cafe. We asked for topping changes but were told that the pizzas were pre-made but we decided to try anyways. The waiter was really polite & the view was stunning. I’m not sure if all the food is like this as it was my first time, I will not be coming back.

We came here for brunch and it was good and the view is great. I don’t know about the others but as an Asian with white family, I noticed that my white family fruits were nicely cut except for mine - 3 of their fruits bowls were nicely sliced except for mine. I do think the service is good. Overall just ok, would love to return but I assume they don’t want to serve me so I won’t.

The service was amazing. We order two fredo cappuccino plus the ham and cheese toast and a turkey sandwich. The toast was kind of basic but the rest was fantastic. The best of it was the view. Definitely a place you should visit if you happen to be in Bali.

Had some drinks and the service was quick. Sunbeds are free, but you need to buy food and drink from the beach side restaurant. We arrived around 1pm and it was pretty quiet. Plenty of parking round the side and easy to get to from the main road.

No surprises. We had a delicious fish plate for two (23€) which was a generous portion. House wine was good too. Expect couvert(?) 1.2€) Then enjoy the beach and complimentary sunbeds. Even sunbeds are served therefore leave your chilled beers at home.

Nice and quite beach, the taverna offers free sunbeds for customers who order a drink. Friendly staff, clean facilities. I prefer the place over the crowded Rethymno beaches.

What a disappointment. I think that the reviews are fake and misleading. We just bought a pistachio and a cream pastry. The one with pistachio was filled with an atomic green paste, very sweet, and had no flavor. The one with cream was so sweet that after 2-3 bites, you can put it in the garbage and forget that you had to eat something like this. For the prices that they have, I feel that it is a complete scam. I noticed that a lot of the top-rated places in Rethymno are like this lately.
