I recently visited the Saffar restaurant at the new Intercontinental hotel in Ras Al Khaimah for a lunch with my family. The buffet offered a wide range of delicious food, prepared by talented chefs from around the world. The staff provided excellent service and made sure we had a comfortable dining experience. The restaurant always managed to find seating, both indoors and outdoors, despite being busy. They offer a vast selection of dishes for dinner, lunch, and breakfast, all of which were consistently great.
Love this restaurant for the yummy food and especially the staff they are really wonderfull and can get you anything you dont find on the buffet, they are polite and helpfull even in times when the restaurant was under pressure with high volume, they never disappoint.

I had a great experience dining at this buffet. The selection of meals was excellent, all prepared to a high standard. The desserts were delightful, and the savory dishes were perfectly cooked, offering a wide variety to choose from. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Moses, whose warmth and positivity truly stood out, such a ray of sunshine and he made my day.

I visited this new Intercontinental hotel in Ras Al Khaimah today for a lunch from Dubai with my family.We went to the Saffar restaurant and decided to try their buffet which was only for 135 AED. I must say we were very happy with the quality of the food, the variety and the wonderful service from all the staff who took so much care of us.
It was a wonderful experience and on e again great food! My favourite was the cheeseboard which was exceptional!
Very little to no variety, doesn’t match intercontintal quality, for example food in intercontintal Fujairah and Dubai festival city is much better. It feels like they try to cut the cost of the open buffet. For example the Shakria have only sauce no meat . The hotel is amazing and the team is super nice when waiters are super nice. It is a shame that this is the quality in such nice property

Buffet restaurant for newly opened hotel. Staffs are pretty friendly and polite but I can tell they are still getting used to the new system. I don’t wanna complain I just hope they can pick up the service flow. I can notice waiters keep sending food to wrong table. Two waiters forgot my egg order or maybe it was sent to other table. Coffee was amazing though. I saved it before it was sent to another lady. Coffee was made by proper espresso machine but one single poor barista has to take care of hundreds of people in rush breakfast hour. Sometimes I just wish I can get a quick black coffee from machine.
Breakfast buffet here and the variety of available breakfast items were good, the ambiance and sitting are amazing, it was quite packed for a weekend morning, and the staff at the entrance were not organized which was a little let down, however our server (Yash) provided outstanding service and made sure we got what we wanted even after last order, bravo...
The main resturant in the hotel, no matter how busy was the place we always managed to have great seats inside and out, the choices are huge, had dinner, lunch and breakfasts there, and it was always great.

Our recent stay at The Cove was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we checked in, everything felt effortless, luxurious, and completely relaxing. The entire resort radiates calm and comfort — beautifully maintained grounds, stunning ocean views, and staff who genuinely go above and beyond to make every guest feel special.
We chose the all-inclusive package, and I can honestly say it was worth every penny. Having everything taken care of made the experience so stress-free — meals & drinks were all included, which allowed us to fully unwind and just enjoy ourselves. Every meal was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, flavorful dishes that catered to all tastes. Whether we were having breakfast overlooking the water, enjoying lunch by the pool, or savoring a beautifully prepared dinner, the food quality and presentation were consistently five-star. The cocktails were delicious too — expertly made and always served with a smile!
Our room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with an incredible view that made it hard to leave each morning. The housekeeping team was attentive and discreet, keeping everything fresh and perfect throughout our stay. The attention to detail in the design and amenities made it feel like a true luxury escape.
And I can’t say enough good things about the spa — it was honestly the highlight of the entire trip. If you visit The Cove, make sure you book at least one spa treatment; it’s an absolute must!
The resort itself offers plenty to do, from lounging by the pool with a cocktail in hand to joining in on fun water activities or just exploring the nearby area. I had a wonderful stay at Cove Rotana. I got an early check-in and initially stayed in a standard room, but it felt a bit congested so I decided to upgrade to a sea view room. It was worth it, as I enjoyed amazing views of the pool, lagoon, and beach right from my balcony. The food was nice with plenty of variety, and the resort has three pools with different views plus a mini waterpark. The main pools close early, but the village pool is open until 9 pm, which was perfect for a late swim. The sunset spot was beautiful, especially around low tide at 5 pm when you can see it up close. The hotel is huge, but the buggy service makes it easy to move around. With many restaurant options, a gaming room, pools, and great views, the resort had everything I needed and I didn’t even feel like going out.
Our stay at The Cove Rotana Result was an enjoyable and relaxing stay once we had upgraded to a Club Member all to the thanks of Nabin who works in the Breeze Bar. This came about on the first night when we were ordering drinks and he recommended the upgrade noting that we didn’t like the house drinks.
Ahmed who was the beach attendant who worked at the Club Members beach area was amazing. He was very professional and within one day he knew our requirements.
Always had a friendly approach and nothing was ever too much. A great credit to the team.
The food in the Basilico Restaurant there was always plenty of choice and the food always came out hot and freshly prepared.
As a Club Member this gave you access to all the restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Due to upgrading we didn’t experience the buffet in the Cinnamon Restaurant but this did always looked extremely busy and chaotic.
The basic all inclusive I would rate this as a four star but once upgraded this would make the stay to a five star.

We started the day at the sunset pool where the staff were rude to us, he didn’t allow us to have any drinks because it was the day we checked in, an he’s the same staff member who didn’t allow us to have drinks the day after because we were checking out, when am I allowed to have drinks?
We went to the buffet to eat, i don’t know where to even start from. The dishes smelled off, the food was inedible, there wasn’t much to choose from to eat so we left feeing hungrier than we came, as the only food we could eat was pineapple.
We went to shower after; the water was freezing cold, we called the reception to help, they said they couldn’t help us. I had to go to the reception and speak to the manager to get it fixed!! Or else no one would’ve listened to us.
The manager Mohammad Sonbol was really nice to us, he gave us access to the BBQ that was supposed to be “fully booked” as the receptionist informed us earlier in the day. And it was empty!!
The breakfast today morning, it was the same disaster in terms of smell and variety of food, even poached egg weren’t an option.
As I go twice a month to RAK for staycations, this would be my last time in Cove and I will make sure to share this review online so other people don’t face the same problem when pay 5K for one night in a hotel where it’s supposed to be an all inclusive and clean 5 star hotel.

I booked a weekend get away to escape dubai and i made sure to get the premium all inclusive so i can chill and enjoy however it turns out it doesnt include many things simply as a red bull or even room service so u need to go to the restaurants to get food but u cant have it delivered to ur room. Such nonsense. Might as well order careem delivery to get ur food for u.. such waste of money and time i wish i had spent that time somewhere else. Literally for the same price you could stay in atlantis or meridian and both will get u much better customer care.the crew doesnt seem to care much they can promise to call u back and they can easily just forget. u have to keep following up on ur request . Feels like too much work for a get away staycation. Which is makes it ubsured i could have stayed in my house and got my food delivered went to the nearest bar for some music which would have been much better than their "DJ" on the beach. and enjoyed a much similar view and didnt have to drive all the way to rak... I dont get why is it five stars hotel if the basics arent there.

We planned a short 2-day staycation at The Cove Rotana, but the experience was so delightful that we couldn’t resist extending our trip. The property itself is breathtaking with its peaceful lagoon views and beautiful architecture. It feels like a little Mediterranean escape right here in the UAE.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home and a little extra special. This trip was about surprising my husband, and everyone went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Personal requirements were taken care of with so much warmth and attention.
Huge thank you to Amir at the reception for a smooth check-in and making our extension hassle-free. At the restaurants, Nandhu, Sheryl, and Anastasia served us with such kindness and smiles that every meal felt like a celebration.
The spa experience was an absolute highlight. Ahmed did a wonderful job, and Salem along with the team made sure everything was relaxing and well arranged.
A big appreciation to the staff who were super quick with luggage and room services, making things easy and comfortable throughout our stay.
Most of all, a heartfelt thank you to Syed Rishabh for planning the special surprise for my husband and ensuring our date night turned into a memory we will cherish forever.
We left with happy hearts and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a magical and personalized staycation experience! 💙✨
The place is huge and has a lot of facilities! Our room was really nice and spacious with a pool view! Breakfast was great as well as the food at the beach. It was so relaxing and even if the place is huge, there’s no need to worry as there are buggies just a call away and the drivers were really nice! And thanks to Mr Mustafa and Rishabh for making this stay memorable to me and my friends!

We loved the dinner buffet, which offered a wide range of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. While I wasn’t a fan of the orange cake served for dessert, the chocolate brownie more than made up for it.
The breakfast buffet was even better — absolutely impressive! A great variety for all preferences, and I became a huge fan of their omelet station, especially the delicious cheese omelets.
The service was excellent, and the taste of the food was consistently very, very good. Highly recommended for anyone staying at the resort!

Not at the level of a 5 star resort. Cheap cafeteria food at best. I went here for dinner. Poor execution, mostly cheap ingredients and a small selection of protein. The pictures speak for themselves. Thinking about a comparison with any 5 star hotel & resorts buffet in Dubai this is embarrassingly bad.
FEB 2025 update: Considering how many guests have meals at Cinnamon on a daily basis for breakfeast, lunch, and dinner, I must compliment the service and seating staff, an improvement - KUDOS! As for food variety and preparation, I feel as though this area is not as good as it was during my previous 2 long-term stays here. Other guests also commented that the food was repeticious and not really good. The deserts were also not good and frankly boring. This area (menu and meal preparation) needs improvement because the guests have noticed and are not talking kindly about the cuisine at Cinnamon!
MAY 2024: Food varies; sometimes good, sometimes great. But one can always put together an appetizing menu. Theme evening menus are worth visiting! Service is mostly good, but suffers during peak hours. Staff are not coordinated to effect that after a table is vacated, the servers do not always get to clean the table prior to host/hostess seating the next guest. Atmosphere outside is relaxing and welcoming, inside somewhat more hectic, but typical of all-in buffet restaurants. **Most seasoned service employees are friendly and wish to please. Management could improve here by allowing only trained service employees to serve/work with guests.
The food was delicious, staff were very lovely and the place was authentic. Special thanks to Mister Tinu for his hospitality and kindness!
Cinnamon All Day Dining at The Cove Rotana was a highlight of our stay. The variety of dishes was great, especially during breakfast and dinner. The quality of the food was consistently good, and there were options for everyone. The staff were friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant seemed understaffed at times.
We didn’t enjoy lunch as much, but overall the experience was positive. Definitely a good choice if you’re booking all-inclusive at the resort.

It was buffet served with Variety of dishes includes arabic ,continental ,Indian etc. Clean and fresh food , enjoyed with the great beach view infront ⛱️. Overall nice vibe in there . Amazing bar with lovley open air terraces. Their all you can eat sushi is fantastic, flexible to order specific types or take a mixed platter. The staff are really super friendly and attentive, specially Andrea who was excellent and really friendly.
At night the outdoor balcony area overlooks the hotels live band and music, making it a really nice view point and relaxed vibe.

We went to this place for dinner on the first day of the Eid holiday. They had an offer of unlimited sushi for AED 149 per person, including non-alcoholic beverages, which was a very good deal. You can check out other offers on the website.
We also walked around and saw the beautiful areas of The Cove Rotana Resort before heading to the restaurant. One of the reasons we liked it a lot was the hospitality of the staff. They took good care of us and always asked if we would like another drink. Our time there was nothing short of delightful and memorable.
The service is extremely poor, and the restaurant inside the main hall closes prematurely. The staff are very unprofessional and dishonest — they inform us that the restaurant is closed and that no orders can be placed, even though it is clearly still open. This reflects a lack of effort and credibility from your team. Your employees are neither professional nor committed to serving guests. Your services are not offered for free —customers pay for them, and unfortunately, what we experienced was unacceptable. This is a bad experience that will not be repeated.

Wow, just returned from a wonderful week at Anantara. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, well appointed with stunning views. From the moment you arrive the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food was lovely, impressive variety both at breakfast and dinner. The gym is well equipped and clean, the resort is pristine and the private beach is stunning. All the staff are amazing, incredibly kind, helpful and hospitable. A special thanks to Yassine, Asmae, Sayed, Zain, Suleman, Eimran, Omar, Hiralal who all made our stay unforgettable. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly, its absolutely perfect, the staff are a real asset and really make the hotel stand out from the rest. Having previously stayed at the Waldorf, I can honestly say Anantara exceeded all our expectations.

It is a great family resort in Ras Al Khaimah.
What truly makes the difference here is the service provided by the staff. Everyone is exceptionally polite, friendly, and welcoming, which made our stay very special.
Pappu, our housekeeper, was always available whenever we needed help. At Sea Breeze, the receptionist Asmae (if I recall the spelling correctly) welcomed us always with such warmth and kindness. Breakfast was enjoyable, the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and the dining options overall were fantastic with great variety. Since we visited during the low season, we couldn’t try Asado, but that gives us a perfect excuse to come back again.
Omar at the pool made our experience memorable, while Nelson from food and beverage also left a lasting impression with his warmth and hospitality. Our private chauffeur buggy driver, Zunair, ensured our transfers ran smoothly and even arranged our departure back to Dubai with fresh towels and water in the car, which was a thoughtful touch.
In terms of facilities, there are a few details that could be improved. The family pools’ tiles need proper maintenance as some are broken, posing a risk of cuts if one isn’t careful. Additionally, the water could be better cleaned since we noticed a significant amount of sediment in the pool early in the morning.
Overall, the resort is charming and family-friendly, but the staff’s service truly stands out and is what transforms the experience into something unforgettable.

A lovely few days at this resort in Ras Al Khaimah. Our room was extremely spacious and well equipped. We dined at Mekong and the Beach House where the food was excellent. Staff are extremely attentive throughout the resort. We were well looked after by Melanie and Aaditya at breakfast which offered a great selection of anything you could want for breakfast. By the pool we were taken care of by the 2 Imran’s - our only complaint is that the pool tiles are in urgent need of repairing as many tiles are missing. Lovely swim up cocktail bar In main family pool. Gym is well kitted out, did not use the spa unfortunately.. The new adult pool is lovely. Beach very clean and water calm. Overall a great hotel experience fitting with our experience of other Anantara hotels.
Overall love this place beautiful staff so friendly and VInod is great he drove us around a lot. Just one thing, I believe the service of some of the restaurant waiters could be better. They need better training of how to order and informed about each meal and allergy as well as follow up on the table on empty plates etc a bit more.

What a Beautiful Gem in Ras Al Khaimah.
The food was very good. Went there for an emarati breakfast and wasn't disappointed at all. More than the food, the staff is so well trained. I would like to thank Sania especially. She was so attentive. Just as an example: my Son said he wanted the cucumbers from the haloumi we ordered and there were only 4 pieces but Sania (without us asking for more) got more cucumbers for my son. This is service. The small things matter.
I definitely recommend this place for the excellent nostalgia of Old Emarat (I was born and raised in UAE), the simple but amazing food, the refreshing karak tea and SuperWomen and Men that are the wait staff.
Will come again for sure!

My first experience of Philippines food. Except the fish soup i liked all other dishes which was part of my meal. I don’t have clue about the names of the dishes. The experience itself is worth. The serving lady was polite enough to guide us through dishes and cooking (yes we do have to grill or dip in the soup by ourselves) process. The meal was filling. I liked their ice tea a lot.
The first time I visited as a non filipino to try the Filipino dishes. I didn’t thought the food will be this much delicious.. Specially as a non filipino um looking for spicy and the owner of the restaurant specially gave me an extra spicy for the food.. Need to highlight the service of the restaurant um surprised.. they are very generous and kind with the service.. whoever planning to come here its my pleasure to recommend this place even for other nationalities as well..

The halo2x is okeyish, typical and nothing special. The delivery was not good; the plastic cups were squeezed in plastic bag, resulting for the cups to crack and break.

I would suggest to try another shop.

I don’t normally order Pinakbet (mixed vegetables sautéed in fish or shrimp sauce) and we don’t even prepare this at home but this time I decided to give it a try in a restaurant that I just happened to pass by and I am surprised with the taste. It’s really good. The place is clean and price is affordable. Quality is amazing and customer service is superb.

We all had fun together and didn't worry about our safety thanks to Ahmed!!! I had an unsatisfactory experience during my stay at this hotel. At the reception, I requested a sea-view room but was informed it was not available, even though I later noticed it being offered to others. When I asked about cancelling my booking, the staff member at the counter confirmed it was fine, but the booking amount was still deducted. When I followed up later by phone, I did not receive clear or helpful support. I feel disappointed as the process and communication were not handled properly.
Eslam at the front desk was very welcoming. He is multi lingual in 4 languages, which was amazing. Very proactive with all my requests for my wife’s birthday. This is our second time here, and we will surely be back again

Was a nice trip, would suggest if you can to stay in the intercontinental club side for the extra perks such as cocktail hour and the adults only pool. Can also have breakfast in the club lounge which is far more relaxed than the overcrowded main buffet.
Grounds are tidy and overall a very pretty resort.
Staff are absolutely wonderful here so friendly and personable and made the holiday.
The pools however can do with some maintenance as tiles are falling off.
Dining- Saffar is far too small for the whole hotel especially since many people stay in the resort for dinner as there isn’t much choice outside. At times felt very canteen like and took the whole meal to receive drinks.
Lavant and Nar had very poor service and was a really disappointing evening.
NoHo was quite nice but again service was slow.
The spa was nice but I would suggest a post massage relaxation area for the tea. After the massage you just get dressed and are directed to go back to the reception which was a shame.
The gym was pretty lack lustre with only one bench and the showers are ice cold.
Overall was a nice quick break but some places they could work on.
We dined several times at Saffar Restaurant in the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab, and every visit was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was always busy, the team went above and beyond to look after us and make us feel like family.
The Indian food was particularly outstanding – full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked – while the pizza and pasta kept kids happy every time.
A huge thank you to Milan, who took amazing care of us, and to Prateek, Shiraz, Renuka, Chandra, the Deputy Manager, Moses, Juni and countless others I know I've missed - sorry- for their warmth and professionalism. Their service was friendly, attentive, and genuine. Thank you for topping up my rose wine ;) The best service we’ve experienced in Ras Al Khaimah. We left every meal smiling. We will miss you all.

Rooms and amenities around the hotel look shabby - feels like hotel was built long years ago. Dirty sunbeds, dirty sofas in the restaurant area, cracked corners in the bathroom, cracked tiles in the pool.
Air conditioning in the room is too cold and can’t be set up differently, so one has to choose between opening a balcony and sleeping in hot or getting cold with the air conditioning. Air conditioning would not work even if the balcony door is just a little open.
Food in the restaurant is ok, but overall experience is poor - no tablecloth at the restaurant even at dinners, waiters very rarely deliver drink orders to the table, although do take orders. In rare cases when drinks are delivered, it’s often not the complete order. There are queues to get a table at a restaurant, especially if you prefer seating outside. Dirty plates stay with you until you leave the restaurant unless you purposefully handle it to a waiter passing by with a cart.
This feels and looks like a 4 star hotel at best, an average one.
The sea is close and the water there is clear and nice, but the beach is rather busy and it’s crowded all over - both at the beach and around the pools. Finding a sunbed can be a challenge. There aren’t enough toilets and showers at the beach, not all areas of the beach are conveniently located to get prompt access to it which can be a challenge if you’re staying with a little kid.
Cleaning of the room was good though - at proper time and well done.

Our 3 year old daughter had a great there wss so much for her to do. She had a great time at the kids club. We discovered the Space Cafe online, as we wanted to get out for something new. The photos online looked promising, so we gave it a shot. It started nice with a warm welcome. The place has a very nice interior and feels cosy. We ordered beverages first and mentioned that we have to study a bit the menu. Coffee's arrived fast (we also could choose from different beans), but our water was missing. We sat for a while and I almost finished my coffee. The ordered water hasn't arrived and no service staff was bothering to come and take our order for food. I went to look for service staff and the girl - on the mobile. Great. Well, that was it. I requested the bill and we left. Flat white and cappuccino where great, service needs more attention. Location is for sure great and as mentioned the interior is top.
Everything is excellent, and I would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their outstanding cooperation and dedication 😍.
I have just two minor observations, and after addressing them, everything will be perfect:
1️⃣ The sound of chairs moving is a bit disturbing. A possible solution could be covering the chair legs with plastic to prevent the noise from friction.
2️⃣ There are not enough power outlets near each table. It would be great to provide more access to electricity for those who want to study comfortably and charge their laptops, phones, or iPads 🔌💻📱.

The best breakfast spot in RAK in terms of location, food , service and ambiance. The egg benedict was perfectly cooked and was super delicious. The classic french toast was also yummy. I also ordered the cold spanish latte which was good. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
It was a good experience being first time in this mesmerizing cafe, the picolo was lovely .
But in the lemon mint cooler, it was very strong the lemon part.
But I'll come back soon to try other other dishes as well.

I loved the aesthetic of this cafe. I went here for brunch with a friend and the Eggs Benedict was delicious. I also got the seasonal Christmas dessert, which was divine.

The menu starts off typical of a cafe but in some areas like the sweet items tries to get a little creative and decadent both in the offerings and presentation, making it one of the trendier places to grab a coffee and bite to eat.
Service is knowledgeable and friendly, parking is available out the front, and the overall experience makes it a nice place to chill with friends or family.

The best thing about this cafe is its atmosphere, very calm & soothing style that makes you relax.
Unfortunately, the food is not up to expectations! Here is my feedback on the 3 items we got: The cheese croissant was extremely bland, not because of the cheese but due to the croissant dough itself, i highly recommend changing the dough recipe. The French Toast was Ok, nothing stands out. Lastly, the Round Croissant Benedict, this was extremely delicious! Highly recommended.
The service was good, and the staff was friendly and responsive. However, the service was too slow! I am not sure if it's due to a shortage of kitchen staff, kitchen capacity, or general slowness. Just keep in mind that you might wait a while until you receive your order if the cafe is half full.
I was recently in RAK for business and my colleague asked me to join her for lunch. And voilà I discovered the cafe! The place is beautifully designed, aesthetically impressive and comfortable to lounge. The little squirrel figurines were adorable....we tried their quinoa salad with berries, pink sauce pasta and refreshing mango drink. All were upto the mark and delicious. Simple food and yet satisfying. Portions were humble and the way of serving drinks and food was fascinating. A special mention of staff also. They were so polite and courteous. I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Madras Restaurant.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of both the staff and the restaurant itself was concerning. Hygiene is a basic expectation when dining out, and unfortunately, this restaurant does not meet that standard. On multiple occasions, the food I ordered for delivery arrived with an unwanted "free gift"—hair mixed in with my meal. This was enough for me to stop ordering from them altogether.
However, I decided to give them one last chance and visited the restaurant in person, thinking that perhaps a dine-in experience would be better. To my dismay, I encountered an even larger issue—cockroaches in the dining area. At that point, I decided it was best to walk out.
Overall, I cannot recommend Madras Restaurant. It is essential for a restaurant to maintain basic hygiene and cleanliness, both in food preparation and dining areas. Unfortunately, this establishment falls short on all fronts. Spare yourself the disappointment and seek out other dining options in Ras Al Khaimah.
Perfect South Indian breakfast available I've tried tried masala dosa it's really delicious where as service is also quick and the waiters are also kind and helpful..Im always visiting and I will recommend to all to have a visit!

I like the look and feel of the place. Food is definitely affordable. Taste was okay. They might work a little bit on making the food tastier for a bit of +5AED if that’s feasible concerning the location and season and competition around. Staff should refrain from greeting people coming/leaving the shop from the counter area as it seemed loud and inappropriate and we’re talking about a 7-m distance here where there are customers seated across.
I had a nice time with my girlies here. I tried their cakes and shake and they were good. Will have to keep coming back to try the rest of the menu. Located in Al Hamra Village and facing the marina, this is the best spot to hang out for breakfast and early dinner. They serve the best Salted Caramel speciality coffee and French Toast. Staff are also great and very attentive. The best part, they are pet friendly!

Well located the ambience is cosy and they have a good selection of cakes and beverages. What is missing? Or are we to assume it is to be compared with the likes of Costa, Starbucks, etc.? If it is so, then it misses just a sleeve. However, if it's to be an exclusive cafe as its appreance projects; there is much more missing.
The glasses filled with hot beverages are not convenient and cause burns.
Waiting for the drink to cool just spoils it all. No spoons or serviettes given, it is more a grab it yourself.

Wonderful place for a book lover. The best cafe in this area they have nicely worked on the decor of the cafe with graffiti and books. They also offer items to sell like bottle, cups etc.
Food is good and coffee is also nice more importantly the environment of this cafe is really peaceful and bliss.

I recently dined at the newly opened restaurant, WAHAT AL SHAMAL PUNJABI RESTAURANT, with a group of friends. We indulged in a variety of snacks such as samosas, aloo pakoda, and chicken tikka. The chicken tikka was exceptionally well-marinated and cooked to perfection. Moving on to the main course, we ordered daal tadka, mix veg, chapati, and chicken biryani.
Recently I visited this newly opened restaurant with couple of my friends. In snacks we tried samosas,aloo pakoda and chicken tikka everything was amazing,chicken tikka was well marinated and perfectly cooked.For main course we ordered daal tadka, mix veg, chapati and chicken biryani. Chapati were so soft just like home made and chicken biryani was out of the world.Really amazed by the food. Ambience was good and managment is very friendly, owner personally came to us to attend.I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is one of the restaurant we could feel a typical Punjabi Dhaba ambience. We had Samosa, phulka, sarso ka saag, mix vegetables, veg biryani and chicken butter masala at a very very reasonable price.
Samosa - Must try. Very tasty.
Phulka - Good. Eat it fresh. After sometime it becomes sticky.
Sarso ka saag - Very good. One of their signature dish. Must try.
Mix vegetables - Good. Scope of improvement in taste.
Veg biryani - OK. Scope of much improvement in taste.
Chicken butter masala - Must try. It comes with bones, but if you want boneless ask for it.

Recently thought me and my family would try out this newly opened restaurant. All cuisines are available but we decided to try out their Indian food on this visit. We ordered the mix kebab platter, chicken biryani, chapati and dal. The kebabs just melted in the mouth and tasted delicious. They were the highlight of our meal. Biryani was North Indian style and the whole family wiped their plates clean..it was dat good. Will definitely be visiting wahat al shamal again to try out the other items on their menu. We loved the sincerity with which the owner of the restaurant described the saag (spinach) making process and his love for organic farming. The food was delectable with the best tandoori rotis I have ever had in the UAE. Absolutely, a hidden Gem in the Northern Emirates. Would definitely recommend their Dal Makhni and will surely be visiting again to indulge in Sarson ka saag and makhi dee roti the next time.

I recently visited Brews & Co Cafe on Cournich Road and was immediately impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The furniture appeared new, giving the place a fresh look. I ordered two lattes and a saffron milk cake, all of which were delicious. During my conversation with the owner, it became clear that he truly cared about his customers. He was courteous, humble, and kind, even offering different types of coffee to try.
We came from Abu Dhabi for the weekend and found this cosy cute homely cafe by chance. Very professional baristas. Great coffee and food. The atmosphere is welcoming, the furniture is new, the place looks fresh.

Then we had a quick chat with the owner who showed much interest in conversing with his customers in a very courteous way, humble and kind, he gave us some other types of coffee to try, not of my taste but the gesture is more than enough to make me respect him and understand that this place started with passion rather than anything else.

A nice cafe with good ambience. SErvice was good, we had loaded fries and they were good in taste. When asked for jalapenos they even gave us extra jalapenos. Coffee was okay in taste. Third visit, I went savory with the Pepperoni Pizza and Chicken BBQ Pizza. The crust was thin and crisp, and while the pepperoni pizza lacked actual pepperoni, the flavor was still enjoyable. The BBQ chicken was sweet and smoky, a solid comfort pick 🍕🔥.
Service across all visits was friendly and fast, and the menu offers a wide range—from breakfast to pasta, desserts, and specialty drinks. If you’re in RAK and want a café that’s versatile, photogenic, and flavorful, Laloca Cafe & Lounge is worth exploring.

The space is quite large, and the interior design is a beautiful blend of Japandi and Scandinavian aesthetics. I genuinely love this place! In fact, whenever I have guests visiting, I make sure we stop by.
I've visited both in the morning for breakfast and in the evening after dinner. I've tried several of their mains, coffees, and cakes—everything has been consistently good.
I honestly can’t recommend it enough. It's truly my favorite spot in RAK!

On the adjoining terrace, there's a private pavilion with air conditioning where you can sit and enjoy the vastness of the sea. In winter, it's even possible to sit outside.
Tea and coffee are lovingly prepared, and the lava chocolate cake is simply divine.
A special thanks goes to Yeshoda, one of the waitresses, who remembered us even after more than six months and always has a smile on her face.

I’ve been dining at East Restaurant, during my stay in Sofitel Al Hamra Village Resort, Ras Al Khaimah, for the past three nights, and the experience has been absolutely fantastic. The food was consistently delicious, with every meal better than the last.
A special mention to Abhiney, who was exceptionally attentive and made sure our preferences were remembered and perfectly catered to. He coordinated with the kitchen each time to ensure everything was just right.
Also, a big thank you to Chef Naweez who is truly a magician in the kitchen! Whether it was vegetarian or non-vegetarian dishes, every plate he prepared exceeded our expectations in both flavor and presentation.
The warm hospitality and attention to detail from the entire team made our dining experience memorable. Highly recommend!
The staff were very polite and respectful, which I truly appreciated. However, the overall dining experience was disappointing. The food did not taste good at all, and we had to wait for about an hour and fifteen minutes before it started arriving. Even then, the dishes were served one by one, which made it hard to enjoy the meal properly. By the time all the plates came, we were already full but without actually feeling satisfied or happy with the food.
We dined at this restaurant throughout our entire 2-day stay, and every meal was exceptional. The food was consistently excellent, but what truly stood out was the attentive and personalized service we received each time. Despite the restaurant being packed during every visit, we always felt like the staff was there just for us.
A special thanks to Mr. Rachid Lasfar, who took care of us from our first meal to the last before we left the resort. His considerate and professional care made us feel right at home. This level of hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable.

On my first visit, I tried the Iced V60 using Brazilian beans—smooth, nutty, and low in acidity. It had a mellow chocolatey finish that made it perfect for slow sipping on a warm afternoon ☕❄️🇧🇷👌🏻.
Second visit, I went for the Iced V60 with Colombian beans, and it offered a brighter, fruitier profile with subtle citrus notes and a clean finish. Both brews were expertly prepared and served chilled, showcasing the café’s attention to detail and bean quality ☕❄️🇨🇴😍.
The menu includes a wide range of manual brews, espresso-based drinks, and light bites.

I have always adored this establishment! It offers an authentic Emirati atmosphere. I am fond of their maleh salt fish, chicken saloona, assortment of salads and soups. The private cabins and interior are delightful. The venue exudes a charmingly old-fashioned style, with classic films displayed on the television! Their vimto slush and sangeeni chai (black tea) are particularly commendable! A visit or order is definitely worthwhile due to the pleasant ambiance.
I'm Chinese and I'm so excited to find this hidden gem! Moreover, the grilled fish and rice are super delicious! I also wanted to order grilled chicken, but I felt like I couldn't eat it anymore. I must eat it again next time I come to Ras Al Khaimah!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The rice took too long to arrive, and by the time the rice came, the grilled dish already become cold. They didn’t have forks available, and there was a minimum order requirement for reqaq (i need to order 4 breads), which was inconvenient. Additionally, we were asked to leave our table to accommodate others ( who had a reservation) , which felt unprofessional and embarrassing after they escorted us themself to the said area. To top it off, we were charged for water and 7-Up that never arrived ( we did ordered though) . Definitely not the experience we expected , waiters are barely visible and it takes them so long anything.
The service and staff was good, the atmosphere was good, the food was normal, i went with the family, they preferred if the food has less onions in the shakshouka. The taste is normal. I still believe that there is a huge area for improvement in terms of if the food, the servant should ask how the food needs to be to be cooked as the amount of some ingredients are normal compared with others.
Great place to have some delicious king curry and seafood mix grill platter.

Wonderful find! I have lived in Dubai for 5 years and enjoy proper Emirati food. My husband was born here so he knows Emirati food well also … and we both loved this place. Came here on a week’s holiday to RAK and we will definitely be back. The seafood platter and kingfish curry were amazing. Great value for money, nice staff and fun homemade environment that shows real creativity and ingenuity in imagining a “local” neighborhood feel.

Loved the Texas fries & pasta definitely recommend them, but pizza was below average honestly. Then for desserts the tiramisu was really nice, but needed to be more cold.

It "was" clean a year a ago, i found some hair in two of my pastas and iv talked to them and I didnt like their reaction and i was not pleased with thier response. And they didnt give me my money back.
The service was not bad, took longer than usual to serve the coffee and food,
The food quality not good, and totally different then what displayed, i ordered “egg Benedict”and the egg to be medium cooked and it was suppose to be served with muffin bun but instead it was overcooked and served with normal potato buns and the sauce was basically “masala sauce”, and the other order was “good morning Moscow “ and the egg to be cooked medium, the dish has no ingredients in the menu, but as displayed it was 3 pouched eggs, guacamole, tomato sauce, and nachos chips.
But we received it with two pouched eggs, avocado small slices with red onion (not the proper guacamole at all), again I received it overcooked, and asked the to add the third egg as per the displayed dish,
and the third dish was “ organic omelette “ which was basically overloaded with mushrooms cheese and onions, with a thin layer of egg, so i asked to talk to the chef, it was clearly he has no idea about the dish and how it was supposed to be served. He immediately asked to change the whole dishes but i refused that because no point of despising this much of food in the garbage and I’m sure i wont get better than what was served in the first time,
It is one of the best cafes in RAK, easily. Really amazing collection and variety of items on the menu. From outside, it looks ordinary, but trust me, it's great, and I am a big fan now. Hopefully, the taste and quality are consistent every time I visit.

• The fruit cake was the standout—most delicious! 😍🍰
• Enjoyed the honey, ginger & lemon drink 🍯🍋🫚, soothing and well-balanced.
• Unfortunately, the V60 cold brew ☕️🧊 didn’t meet expectations—flat and lacking depth 😖.
Ambiance is cozy and service was decent.
Recommended for desserts and warm drinks, but specialty coffee could use improvement 🌟.

Selections is one of the very best Restaurants/Coffee shops in Ras Al-Khaimah. There is a reason why it's so popular. The staff (including Umar, Rodgers & Francis) are amongst the best staff anywhere. This is the place to go if you want good food and drinks. It's also the go to spot for meetings etc. The decor is amazing and is unlike anywhere in Mina.

Waterfront cafe that isn’t attached to a hotel complex. View over the marina. Good choice of food - mostly western. I had tacos which was great because I’m intolerant to gluten. Lots of coffee (including decaf) and juice options. Nice friendly staff.
Although there were some hiccups with my order initially – I requested a medium ribeye steak but received it well done – the staff promptly rectified the issue by providing a new dish. Unfortunately, the replacement steak was rare, which wasn't what I had hoped for. However, I must commend them on the taste; it was fantastic. Overall, despite the mix-up, I enjoyed my experience and would consider returning. I'm hopeful that on my next visit, they can ensure my satisfaction from start to finish. Looking forward to giving them another chance.

A new cafeteria with delicious sandwiches and superb karak. Tried their shakhooka sandwich (5/5) a must try. Keema sandwich was average. Karak was really good and in-par with the tase of Nena tea. Pomegranate juice was excellent too. Ambiance is superb and the staffs were very friendly.
The service was fine , the food quality used to be good and it has dropped badly... the special falafel which used to be really great is dry with old khubz and cold sandwich which gets stuck in the throat .. unfortunately not satisfied alot .. I hope this is taken care of in future for other customers

I only have good things to say about this place. The classic French toast is honestly the best I’ve had, and the hot Spanish was exactly right for me - not super sweet or bitter. The staff was also very friendly. I went at around 10am and it wasn’t busy. The tables are also spacious for studying 👌🏻
