Meyhane
Eski Meyhane, which translates to "Old Tavern" in Turkish, is a newly opened establishment located on the shores of Kumluk. The restaurant offers a traditional meyhane experience, reminiscent of bygone eras and steeped in nostalgia. It is nestled amidst lush greenery and evokes an ambiance that pays homage to centuries-old Turkish social traditions.
Eski Meyhane is an absolute gem in Datça! The food is simply amazing—full of authentic flavors and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. The owners are incredibly lovely and welcoming, making the experience even more special. They even gave me a little gift, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Their kindness and friendliness truly set this place apart. Highly recommend for an unforgettable dining experience!
Monica — Google review
A place shows a good example of turkish meyhane culture. Loads of colorful, fresh i and healthy mezes, with a decent fish fridge, you can find seabass, sardines, mullets and whole bunch of regional fresh caughts. Cool, clean, recommended. Fairly priced compared to turkey standarts.
Eren K — Google review
Great mezzes, family run Highly recommend this restaurants. All the mezzes are freshly made, and both the hot and cold ones are great. As is the manti and the kofte. The staff speaks a little English and will go a long way to ensure your well-fed and happy when you leave. It’s family owned and run, so you get none of that tourist trap nonsense that you get on the beach. Prices are very reasonable and they have a nice art gallery upstairs. And don’t turn down the Turkish after dinner coffee, it’s a real treat!
Cor C — Google review
This is a cute little authentic Datchan restaurant owned and run by one family.. all home made food. I really liked the overall setting in the alley under a huge pomegranate tree. The mom who was on a break generously offered is what she was having for lunch with her family. The food was very delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend it.
Sam S — Google review
Great place! One of the best spots in Datça, the food is all classic Turkish cuisine and is amazing. I would recommend the Atom, Paçanga, and the Calamari. Typically Turks start with the cold appetizers and move to the hot appetizers and then the meal. The staff is amazing, some of them speak English so they are easy to work with for foreigners. We did dinner there twice during our trip and every night was amazing. If you’re looking for the Turkish experience, this so your spot
Carl T — Google review
To be honest they have crazy prices for Turkey, although the food is not bad (a bit heavy with garlic). Paying 60 euros for meze and a main (no drinks) is insane for a small restaurant not even on the beach.
Mike D — Google review
Nice ambience and very good food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. She took care of us very well. Their Turkish coffee was delicious. I would highly recommend to visit this place for chill lunch or romantic dinner.
Vaibhav D — Google review
We ordered 3 mezes, two glasses of wine, two coffee and one octopus. The bill was 355 TL. Mezes were ok, but octopus was too expensive for its quality! Family business. They try to do their best, but the price for this quality is too high! After that dinner we went to the restaurant on the shore and ordered octopus again. The taste of it was much better and price was chipper!

Mediterranean restaurant
Cafe Inn is a modern and inviting cafe that offers a comfortable yet contemporary atmosphere. The menu likely features a variety of classic cafe dishes with innovative twists, from freshly brewed coffee to baked goods. It's known for its homemade jams, Datca olives, fresh Aegean herbs, and an assortment of cheeses for breakfast or brunch with a view of the sea in Datca. Additionally, it offers options like pizza and pasta.
We happened to find this restaurant, and we were very satisfied with the food. The staff served us with warm smiles and kindness, and the food was excellent. The beef salad was especially good, and the bread with olive oil they served before the meal was really tasty. I highly recommend this place.
Inkyou Y — Google review
I recommend making a reservation, you can eat inside or by the sea. The dishes offer modern tastes compared to many restaurants in Datça. The service is a bit too friendly, those who go there will understand what I mean 😅
Galev — Google review
Nice intimate restaurant. Good service. Eye for detail. Clean. Really good food, well presented. Kitchen deserves an applause. Nice music en view. We had a wonderful diner with the kids. Thank you for your hard labor! We like to come back another time.
K D — Google review
Highly recommended. High quality food for reasonable price, lovely service, great atmosphere. A relief for us as we visited Datca as tourists and had some very poor food at ridiculously high prices. Cafe Inn was recommended to us by a local English couple. You do need to book as is popular.
Neil B — Google review
By far best restaurant on the beach We loved the cafe inn, we had breakfast there twice. It’s such a change from the other beach side restaurants because everything they make is fresh! The jams are home made, the cheeses are fresh as are the olives and the eggs. We had the house breakfast, the spinach omelette, fresh orange juice, home made olive bread and the filter coffee. Not all of those items are on the menu so make sure to order them or ask about them. It’s a family run business and it shows, it was the one place on the beach where we did not walk away feeling we had gotten the “foreigner (yabanci)” experience of mediocre food at exceptional prices. If you come by in the afternoon or morning you can also order some fresh olive bread to pick up fresh out of the oven in the afternoon. Highly recommend!
Cor C — Google review
The best restaurant in Datca. They have amazing organic food, perfect staff, everything os original and they welcome you with a warm smile.

Restaurant
Culinarium is a modern and charming restaurant situated in the heart of Datca, offering a picturesque view of the Aegean Sea. Created by Ulrike, who settled in Datca years ago, this dining spot presents a fusion menu featuring German, Turkish, Italian, and French cuisines. The rooftop terrace provides an enchanting ambiance for guests to savor their meals while taking in breathtaking views of the harbor area.
How to sum this place up as succinctly as possible: The grumpy old chef reluctantly serves you divinely delicious modern cuisine while you look over the Datça marina. In most cases I’d take off a star for the poor hospitality. But the food was just too good to do so, and made me realise that the grumpy chef may have just been a master at work.
Dean W — Google review
When you come to Datça, I definitely recommend setting aside one evening for this restaurant. The food is exquisite, the fish is delicious, and there’s a wide variety of wines. With attentive staff, flavorful dishes, and a stunning view, it’s a fantastic restaurant.
Burak K — Google review
"Datça is a wonderful place. Chef Mehmet, Manager Ms. Deniz, and all the staff are focused on delivering great flavors. You must try their incredible dishes. You should also taste the wines made from grapes grown in Datça’s nature. Thank you Culinarium 🙏
Goktug G — Google review
The most romantic restaurant ever. The chef Mamet is magic:) Deniz-manager local wine sommelier and staff are bravo!! Call early for reservations so they can expect you, although we walked in. May-Oct, You get to climb up to the open roof terrace, over looking the famous Datca sailing harbor, Wow!!! Don’t pass on the bread w/ olive oil balsamic dip. It is an original recipe, to die for; the olive oil is sourced from the owners own olive ranch…”Afiyet olsun” - ie enjoy your meal:)

"A Mesmerizing Dining Experience with Room for Improvement" Culinarium is a fine dining establishment that boasts a stunning roof terrace with an amazing view, setting the stage for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The ambience is truly enchanting, making it an ideal spot for a memorable evening. The restaurant's rooftop terrace creates a delightful atmosphere, allowing guests to enjoy their meals while taking breathtaking views. The combination of fine dining and picturesque scenery undoubtedly sets this place apart. While the ambience and view are impeccable, the starters were amazing but the mains didn't quite reach the same level of perfection. My husband and I had lamb dishes, which was tough and chewy. Although the dishes were beautifully presented, some fell short in terms of taste and execution. This inconsistency was a bit disappointing, especially considering the otherwise enchanting setting. One area of improvement would be the attentiveness of the staff. The servers should be more proactive in checking if diners are enjoying their meals rather than waiting for the customer to ask. A more attentive approach would undoubtedly elevate the fine dining experience. In conclusion, Culinarium offers a captivating and unforgettable dining atmosphere, perfect for experience. And maybe we weren't lucky enough that day. With a touch of improvement in food quality and attentive service, Culinarium has the potential to be an absolute gem in the fine dining scene.

This family owed and operated cafe is a must visit in Datça. There coffee is one of the best and the food and desserts are so delicious. They really care about creating a good quality product and it shows. Very friendly service and a nice atmosphere. After trying many cafes in Datça this has become our go to.

Lovely cafe, wonderful food Highly recommend Yeni cafe, the food is super tasty and well-seasoned. We had the celery-quince soup followed by the sweet potatoe and beet quiche. Their menu is limited due to Covid but don’t worry everything they offer will be great, healthy and organic. We had some coffee of their Moca master machine and bought some chocolate and art for home. Highly recommend!

What a great place to sit and chill. This was our favourite place in Datça to drink and people watch. There are toilets available for customers, the baby kittens climbing the tree were gorgeous.

Nice place for everyone. Perfect location for families; sea for adults, lake and waterfall for children! Service is quick and employees are friendly. Really coasy and relaxing place in Datça.
Eren Ö — Google review
I visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The place is clearly money-oriented with no regard for customer satisfaction. The staff were rude and arrogant, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming. I definitely would not recommend it.
Chloe E — Google review
Very very expensive. 150tl for one cup of tasteless coffee. No displayed price list, they charge what they think they can. An establishment to avoid. Our 1 months tour has indicated this is NOT typical, others have been welcoming, friendly, left after a chat and feeling warm and happy. The staff here have an attitude problem.

Located on the ground floor of the Sapphire Hotel in the vibrant Liman area, Dalida Datça is a delightful stop to take a break if you find yourself in the center of Datça. With its serene architecture and an array of coffees and cocktails, this establishment adds an extra touch of enjoyment with its calming pastel-toned ambiance.
The reason we went there was to have breakfast at our hotel (casa dalida) for 5 days in a row and everything was great 😊 just don’t forget the breakfast is self-service. Thanks to the cute girl who was working for season (we were on the same plane after! She was so cute~ Say our greetings to her dalida fam~)

Ambiance is very relaxing and nice. It is pet friendly :) We tried pizza basil arugula pizza ‘fesleğenli rokalı’ and Love Hurts Cocktail. The cocktail is ok but very difficult to have other tastes because of the flavour of hot chili pepper. So it doesnt deserve its’ price.
Galev — Google review
We went there for dinner and the new menu is amazing. We had the kong fish bao and chicken bao, they were both amazing, how ever you must try the ayran asi soup, great refresher during hot days of summer. The roof top opens after 7:30 amazing views and the staff is very helpful. Definitely a must go place when visiting datca.

Юлия М — Google review
Unfortunately, the beautiful interior of the cafe does not promise delicious dishes .. we were with friends today - half of the dishes are not on the menu. They waited a very long time for orders - they brought food in beautiful plates, pasta stuck together inside, no tomato sauce - everything without spices - fresh and not tasty. the salad was impossible to eat - sour. but we were so hungry that unfortunately we ate... If you opened a cafe - spent a lot of money on the interior and plates, then why don't you have a good cook? There are few places with European cuisine in the city and you could become the best, but instead a spoiled mood. I will come again when it is tasty, but now I do not advise.
Maria P — Google review
My go to place when visiting Datca. Friendly atmosphere, modern universal dishes and cocktails, beautiful design and pretty views. In the menu you will find many local ingredientes and unique recipes. Looking forward to try the new addition, lionfish bao!

It features a selection of music genres, including blues and Latin, creating a unique ambiance complemented by a fireplace and stylish decor. With its sea view location, it's praised for its pleasant ambiance day and night.
We loved the coffee! This is one of the best coffee places we’ve been. Beautiful outdoor setting by the sea. There is spacious tables and chairs extending into a garden area. The coffee is really good. I added and extra espresso shot to my iced Americano and realized later the coffee is really strong (in a good way)! The menu offers food and pastries.

Mia Coffee & Bistro is a charming spot located on the pedestrian-only Rauf Balik in Datca. While it may not have an extensive selection of pastries, their coffee is highly recommended. The Brazilian coffee bean used for their Americano is particularly noteworthy, and you can even opt for an extra shot for a milder taste. Visitors praise the excellent batch brew that truly captures the essence of freshly roasted coffee.
Best coffee in Datça! Batch brew was excellent, tasted like actual fresh roasted coffee. design/concept is really modern and well decorated. Will be coming again!

Very expensive! Atmosphere is very good, people are helpful enough. As food, mezzes are not good as expected, salad was fantastic, fish was very badly cooked and very expensive. In general, it definitely doesn’t worth to it’s price, low food quality with high prices

The fish as well as the cold and hot side dishes were tasty. Also, a good atmosphere down on the Kumluk Beach. Though, it was quite pricey. I've been to different fish restaurants in Datca, even though this is among the better ones in terms of taste, the price/quality ratio does not feel right.
Anıl İ — Google review
Just below average. The grilled fish, tasted of gas (either a gas stove or they poured too much has on the coals). The starters and the appetisers were very average. Fimally it was very pricey at over 2000 TRL for 2 people. Unfortunately, very unimpressed and would recommend avoiding.

Overrated place. People may not pay attention while it has crowd but waiters walking around constantly which makes you feel uncomfortable. Bottle beverages are good to go as they should be but cocktails or hot chocolate type ones has poor taste and undistinguished. Would expect legit beverages as their terrace.

(Translated by Google) We ordered a flat white, a latte macchiato, a caramel latte macchiato, and beers. The waiter spoke limited English and had to "put together" our order several times. The coffee was generally okay, except for the latte macchiato – it didn't look like a latte at all and tasted like it had been heavily watered down. Overall, the place is quite interesting due to its location. It's worth a visit, if only to judge the quality of the food for yourself (we didn't order anything of the sort). Kawa generalnie w porządku za wyjątkiem latte macchiatto - ta nie wyglądała w ogóle na kawę latte i smakowała jakby była mocno rozwodniona z wodą. Generalnie miejsce dość ciekawe z racji lokalizacji. Warto zawitać chociazby aby samemu ocenić jakość serwowanego jedzenia (my nic tego typu nie zamawialiśmy).

Cafe
Nestled in the heart of Datça, The Coffee Grinder is a delightful haven for coffee enthusiasts. This charming café offers an impressive selection of specialty coffees that rival those found in major cities like San Francisco and New York. With both indoor seating and a lovely outdoor area, it’s the perfect spot to relax while enjoying your brew. Visitors rave about the exceptional quality of their coffee, crafted with care using top-notch equipment like a Marzocco espresso machine.
Nice specialty coffee shop in Darcy's with beach views. This place knows about coffee, they have a Marzocco for espresso drinks, but also make americanos with filter and press. If you're looking to buy beans to go they offer the service to grind it at the right size for your machine. Food is good too, highly recommend the cheesecake.

By the seasid, In Datça you’d enjoy this nice place. They got plenty of cold and hot drink options.. I’ve asked to taste their suggestion and was glad to let them pick this time :)
Ali — Google review
We have a vacation home in Datca, so we are in town several times a year.  When I visited the Coffee Grinder for the first time, I was surprised and delighted to find coffee of this quality in a small town in Turkey.  We live in the US, and I have not had better coffee in San Francisco or New York.  It is truly exceptional.  Clearly they take their coffee seriously.  The service is always excellent.  Yesterday when I visited the young man who took my order not only remembered me from six months ago, but remembered my usual order.  The bakery items—cheesecake, pies, croissants, vegan balls—are first--rate, as are the salads and light meals offered. As I read through the reviews, it is obvious that most clients appreciate the fine coffee—as I do.  I am puzzled by the occasional negative review, but they all seem to focus on the fact that the restroom is reserved for customers.  One reviewer noted that the ‘polite” thing to do would be to make the restroom available to anyone who walks in.  All I can say in response is that it seems to me that the polite thing to do when you want to use the facilities at a private cafe is to buy something.

I wouldn't lie if I say that's that's the best cafe in Turkey I've been to. I spent there many many mornings working remotely and I love the quality, the atmosphere and staff! Everything is well thought, the place is always crowded even in the low season which shows that also local people have interest in hanging out there. I'm looking forward to come back there, thank you guys!! ❤️❤️

TONKA Patisserie is a delightful gem nestled in a charming seaside town, where the talented chef Feray Aydogdu crafts exquisite daily desserts that are sure to brighten your day. With just two small tables for enjoying your treats on-site, you can savor these delectable creations alongside a refreshing cup of coffee or lemonade while engaging in delightful conversations about Datca and gourmet delights with the chef herself.
Amazing patisserie in a small seaside town. Delicate, delicious cakes invented daily by chef pâtissier using fresh local produce. Recommend fruit cakes but you need to rush to get a taste before they sell out. In case you make it on time, artisan chocolates are Neuhaus quality and macarons almost compete with Laduree. Yumm.
Evrim A — Google review
What a lovely pastry and chocolatier. We stopped by for a quick dessert in the afternoon. The garden is soothing but desserts - well they will make you forget about all your troubles.

Selen T — Google review
This place may only gets a five-star for its ambience. The hospitality is nonexistent, and the owner is downright unfriendly. (Her mother was the only kind person I encountered). I would not advise the macarons. If you’ve ever tasted Yann Bakery, Ladurée, or Pierre Hermé’s macarons, you’ll know what I mean. I couldn’t try the highly praised cakes because they were “sold out” the owner said in a dismissive manner. She barely speaks, as if she’s forced to open a patisserie to the public. The chocolates were average, the coffee was good. The ambiance is pleasant if you don’t mind the lack of hospitality. I wouldn’t go back.

Hidden paradise. Who said that you can't buy hapiness... Be sure that you arrive just after they open at 11am to have your daily treat. If you are late them most probably they will be all sold out pretty fast. Daily French Patisserie. Top quality ingredients, internationally awarded chef
Koray A — Google review
Great patisserie with a lovely chef/owner to enjoy some French delicacies! Everything is prepared daily and all off the desserts I could try was delicious. You can either enjoy your dessert in the shop with a fresh cup of coffee or lemonade, or you can have it to go. It's a "must visit" in Datca. But go early in the morning because everything is sold out quite quickly :)

Sardines were not available so we ordered a fish sandwich that was served almost without fish. A lot of bread, some salad and few thin pieces of fried fish. Most of the food you see here is not available.

Disappointing my fish was overcook on one side and undercook (raw in the middle) on the other. Everything else was fine but i expected that a place that specialises in fish couldd do it right. In fairness it was an extremely busy evening.

We have been in Datca for 11-12 days and we had a chance to visit this newly opened, lovely coffee shop several times. The place is run by a charming young couple. They are great hosts and they provide a lot of information about the city. All the coffee varieties I could try (e.g. Turkish Coffee, Cold Brew), smoothies and desserts were all freshly made and delicious. The place is very cosy and you can also buy some nice handmade accessories. It has a bit off the centre, so you can take a break from all the noise and truly calm down. It's worth visiting, multiple times if you can. It will add value to your vacation, nothing less.

They also serve pizza once a week. The ambiance and flavors were excellent. We'll be back soon. (Original) Karışık tabağı ve beyaz şarabı harikaydı. Cemre Cafe is a charming little spot that feels like a home away from home. As you step inside, you're greeted by the delightful presence of a young girl who seems to have made it her mission to ensure everyone has fun—especially if you enjoy games on your phone! The cafe offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for families, with its shady corners and tranquil vibe. Breakfast here is reminiscent of what you'd find at home: fresh and wholesome without any frills.
Had a quick rest here. Some çay and almond limonade plus some warm cookies. Friendly and good a quick stop by.

(Translated by Google) First of all, the name of the place is Ceren Cafe. We came for breakfast. If I were to summarize the breakfast: it is the same as the breakfast you have at home. Nothing more, nothing less. Everything that arrived was fresh and clean. A small family business, a shady, quiet place. Note: the sweet little girl was still playing. I think his job here is to play games :) (Original) Yerin ismi öncelikle ceren cafe. Kahvaltısı için gelmiştik. Kahvaltıyı özetleyecek olursam: evinizdeki kahvaltının aynısı. Ne bir eksik ne bir fazla. Gelen herşey taze ve temizdi. Küçük bir aile işletmesi gölgeli esintili sessiz sakin bi yer. Not: küçük tatlı kız halen oyun oynuyordu. Onun buradaki mesaisi galiba oyun oynamak :)

(Translated by Google) A very interesting business. We entered Ceren Cafe and there is no Ceren!! You can enter to rest (no one looks or cares). You can easily sit and leave for 1 hour without ordering (tested). The blank stares and carefree attitudes of the operators are astonishing. If you want a menu, they point you to the menu at the door. My advice is to either take a photo of the menu or sit at a table close to the menu.
