The place looks nice, but unfortunately the staff doesn’t care about the customer, ignoring them…and people just leave after waiting for more than 10 minutes (or more) without any attention. Food is just okay. Drinks are not the best and overall is expensive with no specific reason, taking in consideration the general experience :(

The atmosphere is why we decided to dine here. Our drinks took almost 40 minutes, we asked how long the food would take they said 35, one hour and a half later we got our food…ONE DISH. There was about 5 tables filled, and over 7 employees on the floor. But, the worst part was that the food was flavorless. We had the “carne serenada” , however the meat was extremely dry and flavorless. This was a plate with a mixture of several dishes but even my mom said everything on the plate tasted exactly the same. Very disappointing as this is a local restaurant that’s been here since 1994, but maybe it’s time for some changes and reevaluate service and dishes.

Hidden, off the beaten path restaurant in Pirenópolis. We first had caipirinhas, excellently made. Then we ordered the degustation menu (5 courses). The first course was raw cubes of fish in lemon juice, the skin was left on the fish making it inedible - tough and chewy and the dish was far too salty. Thankfully the rest of the menu was very good - especially the meat, really excellent. There weer toe more issues- the service was extremely fast. We were served the next course immediately after finishing the one before. It was like they wanted to see how fast they could get us out the door. Nice servers but please give your guests time yo relax and enjoy. The speed was unpleasant. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very charming. There were two large groups also dining there and unfortunately this made it incredibly loud, you could not have a conversation over the noise of the rest. Nice place but a couple improvements (ceviche! And speed of service) are needed.

The beer selection is probably the best I've ever seen in a Brazilian City. So I guess it has that going for it. My wife says the fish is really good but I've ever had it so I guess it's okay. In terms of being a really good bar slash restaurant that you wanna go to, this is the place along the road of bars and restaurants that you wanna stop at and eat. I didn't really feel it even reason to not go. Based on the experience I just had, I wouldn't have a problem stopping in here for dinner.

Xico Baru Piiri was legit food and service, we needed a nice cooked meal so I had the Filet Mignon Parmesianna with rice and fries. Felipe our waiter was excellent, he moved out party in quickly and got everything handled. The meal was brought fresh, piping hot and tasty. My only doubt was that this was not filet minon, was a bit tough and not tender like a filet cut normally is. Was most likely a sirloin cut, could of been pounded out a little flatter, but very tasty nonetheless. Our party was extremely large, everyone was happy and smiles where everywhere!
