Unfortunately we arrived there during the rainy days and the place was close for walk, we could only hang around the entrance area. I'm not sure why the place is called skywalk, but there is history behind the statue nearby. The place is clean with urban scenery, on the side of the bridge there were many wild pumpkin. Not sure how crowded it normally be, but when we were there, it was empty, which was nice. I assume it's not that crowded because otherwise there would be more people (the closure was based on weather, not planned). There were staff there as well who was polite and ready to help with information and story if needed.

Soyanggang Skywwalk (Glass bridge on Tieu Duong River), is the longest river bridge on the river in Korea located in the key city of Chunchoen, on the gentle river. I would recommend going there by evening to also enjoy the light show at the nearby bridge. Conveniently located the place can be reached by public transport. There is a big parking lot just opposite to the place and is free. There are a lot of good eateries around the parking lot, and also a convenience store. There is an entry ticket, but along with the tickets, they issue a note, of equivalent amount, which can be used for shopping, coffee, snacks anywhere in the town.

Had some spare time Chuncheon and came here for the views - I wasn't disappointed! The entry fee is 2000 won for which you get a voucher in exchange. The Gangwon Provincial Arboretum (강원특별자치도립화목원) is relatively close by, so combining these during your visit is something I'd recommend! 👍

I didn’t have much of expectations before coming to the museum but i was very pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful this place is and well put together.

Small but awesome place! My kids really loved the museum. They had plenty of stuff for kids to experience(in both kids and non kids museums). (I guess due to covid) it was pretty empty.

You can view the history and culture of Gangwon-do from prehistoric times to modern times at a glance. In addition to traditional cultural relics, there are exhibits of Buddhist culture such as the Five Hundred Lohan (closed on Mondays). Really a good place to know more about local culture.

My Delightful Bus Tour To Nami Island The bus picked me up from my hotel in Seoul for this full day adventure which included a stop at the Garden Of Morning Calm. This meticulously manicured garden was stunningly beautiful and relaxing at the same time.The tour guide and driver gave us a little briefing on the highlights and attractions upon arrival and set a time for return to the bus before he turned us loose. This is a thoroughly enjoyable place and can be a destination in it’s own right. Back on the bus for a short ride where we boarded a ferry for a short, scenic and fun cruise to Nami Island . Again a nice little briefing and return instructions. The island is an iconic location which can be seen in many Korean movies and TV shows. Rows of tall stately trees growing in a symmetrical and orderly manner must have been growing a very long time. They line both sides of roadways that I think of as inviting shady lanes. There are many landscape and flower features throughout the park. Photo enthusiasts will be well pleased. There are numerous food venues featuring tasty well prepared dishes. This complete tour was a pleasing and comforting experience from start to return.I would encourage everyone to visit here. I hope to return as well.

They serve traditional korean dishes and everything we ordered tastes nice - especially the side dishes. You have an option to dine inside or al fresco.

We recently dined at Nammoon Korean Restaurant on Nami Island and had a delightful experience with the food. I ordered the 도토리묵밥 (acorn jelly in cold broth), and my husband had the 돌솥 불고기 (bulgogi in a hot stone pot). Both our meals were delicious and full of authentic Korean flavors. However, we faced some challenges with the service. The staff seemed reluctant to approach us, possibly because they saw my white husband and assumed we didn’t speak Korean. As a result, we had to grab our own water from the jugs near the bathroom because it wasn’t brought to our table. Fortunately, I speak Korean, so we were able to place our order without any issues. On a positive note, they did pack up our leftovers for us, which is unusual in Korea, and I appreciated that. Overall, the food quality was excellent, but the restaurant could improve its service for non-Korean speaking visitors.

Great bibimbap! I was so hungry searching for something at least vegetarian and had had enough of pastry and sweets filling my tummy since no vegetarian food easily to find. Then I checked on happy cow and found the restaurant near by had spaghetti and when I was walking there I saw this restaurant and them having two vegetarian/vegan options. There is acorn jelly salad and bibimbap. I chose bibimbap,warm and fulfilling and healthy for my tummy. Korean vegan food is the best vegan food.
