Zoos
Daejeon O-World is a charming amusement park nestled in the picturesque nature of Daejeon's southern mountains. It comprises three main attractions: Zoo Land, Flower Land, and Joy Land. Zoo Land is home to 600 animals from 160 species, including Bengal tigers, giraffes, elephants, Korean wolves, zebras, and black bears.
A place to visit when in Daejeon, a 3-in-1 amusement park. The rides in the Joy Land are mostly for kids and teenagers. The Animal Land consists of lovely animals from all over the world in clean habitats. The Flower Land can be visited in the night, with beautiful lights and a musical fountain. Food is readily available and very reasonable for a theme park! The entrance fees of ₩34,000 for adults and ₩28,000 was well worth!

Beautiful park and so much things to do! It was quite bigger than I expected, and we really enjoyed the zoo, flower land and bird land. Lots of unique animals in the zoo area, and it is spacious and clean. Not lot of crowds during weekdays, which helped us getting plenty of time to roam around, enjoy the park and take tons of pictures. We loved it here!
Hanna L — Google review
Good place to spend weekends there. Many animal, birds exhibits and flower gardens are there. Takes almost 3_4 hours to filly cover the park. Also there are many rides on payment basis there which will keep the kids engaged. Plenty of parking
Vivek G — Google review
Great zoo, birds, safari, flowers . Lot of areas for children and people to enjoy and there is an option for tracking near by .
Ronit N — Google review
It’s a nice place to have fun in couple, family or friends. But if you can’t stand children’s screaming, that’s not a good place for you 😅 The Safari is nice but i felt heartbroken when i saw the elephant and the giraffe alone. They should not stay like this. 😞 also, It’s written it close at 6pm but at 5pm everyone have to get out of the parc. Even the gifts shop was close.
Isabelle S — Google review
About 4 rides were close when we came. The waiting time per ride was fast. We like that the rides were longer... not much on food selection. You need to wear really good walking shoes as the zoo is located in the higher ground so a bit of walking uphill is needed. The toilets are not as clean as I would like them to be. The staff and crew are really nice and friendly. The safari ride was rather fast. So we didn't get to enjoy it as much.
JOLEN C — Google review
Daejeon O-world, is a recreational park for adults and kids alike. Conveniently located the place can be reached by public transport and own vehicle. There are a lot of busses that run in this route. The place has a huge parking lot as well. Booking tickets in advance is recommended, as the place could get crowded especially on weekends. The place has theme parks, rids for kids to enjoy, a small safari, a good decent size zoo. We were surprised to see puma and jaguar in the zoo, which most of the zoos do not have/keep. The animal enclosures are big and plenty of space for them to roam around. However pity is to see large birds in small enclosures with no/very little space to fly. The safari is short but good. For kids there are a lot of rides to enjoy. There is also a dance performance by the staff, which is really good. The place has plenty of food options as well. From western food, burgers, fries, to Korean food and snacks. A good place to visit when in Daejeon, would recommend 5-6 hours to enjoy the place fully.
Piyush S — Google review
Daejeon o World is the main attraction of Daejeon. It’s a beautiful amusement park but it’s quite small as compared to the everland or lotte world. We enjoyed the gyro drop a lot. But the unique experience that i had there was the jungle safari as the bus is taking us on a ride through the jungle. This is first time I experienced how it feels to be behind bars. In most zoos the creatures are behind the bars and we enjoy watching them from outside. Here we were all stacked up in a bus like behind the bars and the creatures were freely moving in their natural habitat. So i do really liked this idea and enjoyed it. Also the flower garden was mesmerizing. It was beautifully decorated🤩 All the rides were amazing

Since its inception in 1926 and subsequent designation as a national museum in 1949, it has evolved into a premier destination that celebrates the wonders of science and technology. Located conveniently near Expo Park, this world-class institution boasts an array of interactive exhibits that engage visitors of all ages.
A grand complex at the outskirts of Daejeon, the national Science museum comprises of several themes from nature, evolution to technological development. The museum is accessible by bus services and does not require entrance fees. You can spend quite some time here given its sheer size.
Amos S — Google review
It is such a beautiful science museum! It is spacious, extremely clean and so many interesting exhibition halls and interactive learning opportunities throughout the hall. We didn’t had enough time to check all the exhibitions, but future tech hall was one of my favorite exhibitions. It is extremely well maintained and I really appreciated there are so many clean restrooms everywhere. It is educational for all ages. I would highly recommend everyone to go visit.
Hanna L — Google review
Spacious parking lot The entry and most of the exhibitions are for free. They range from natural history to basic sciences with many things you can experience hands-on. Good for child 5 or above and below 13, in my opinion. It's worth visiting for their education and fun.
Minjae I — Google review
We visited on a weekday afternoon. The admission was free, and we were the only ones there. They had many interactive displays. It was too big to see everything in our short 1.5 hr visit. I would be happy to go back.
Jina B — Google review
Huge museum with great activities for kids of all ages! Lots of seating for adults, and a water cooler would have been nice. I like that the convenience store is located in the garden outside. It doesn't interfere with the kids learning and playing.
Connie P — Google review
If you like history and technology this is the place for you. My first time touching a meteorite and it's feel so amazing. Very fortunate I'm here.
Joey T — Google review
One of the best Science Museums Globally. This museum has something for people of all ages.
NARESH J — Google review
A very big museum, absolutely worth visiting! It had 3 main buildings, one is a natural history museum with rocks and animals including dinausaurs, another one is practical, where you can try some experiments and the third one (my favourite) is dedicated to technology and the future. The entrance is free and the park around is is very beautiful.

Hanbat Arboretum, located in the heart of Daejeon's urban center, is a sprawling man-made arboretum that offers a diverse collection of trees and plants. Spanning 371,000 square meters, it features 19 theme gardens showcasing 1,787 plant species. The arboretum serves as an educational space for youth and a tranquil green oasis for city dwellers. Visitors can explore pathways, play areas, and a large pond while enjoying the lush surroundings.
Beautiful park with natural and well manicured sections. When I went in the afternoon at the beginning of September there were maybe a couple of dozen people in the entire park, so it was possible to really take in the natural sounds of the birds and nature. The smell of the forested areas was amazing. Best of all, there is no entrance fee. I didn't go inside any of the exhibits since many seemed closed at the time.
Nima N — Google review
It was huge and I had a great experience. You can take a bus to hanbat arboretum and just walk.

**Hanbat Arboretum: A Nature Lover's Paradise!** This place is incredible! From the moment you enter, you're greeted by a beautiful rhythmic fountain and cooling showers. There's even a coffee shop, convenience store, and restaurant for refreshments. It's all kids friendly. For the active crowd: There's a huge paved cycling path with bikes you can rent. Lovely, shaded pedestrian walkways for walking or jogging. Feeling studious? Check out their well-stocked library, perfect for learning about plants and animals. Traveling with kids? They have a dedicated play area to keep them entertained in the library. The jewel in the crown: The arboretum itself boasts a variety of stunning flora and fauna (though I didn't explore the paid ticketed section). Beyond the plants: There's a beautiful natural pond teeming with colorful fish you can feed with bread. Relaxing walking paths with bridges offer scenic views. The atmosphere: Lush trees, calming birdsong, and the gentle sounds of a flowing stream create a truly peaceful environment. Comfortable benches are perfect for a moment of quiet reflection or conversation with loved ones. Heads up for nature enthusiasts: You may spot a snake warning sign in one of the thicket areas. These signs are just a safety precaution to let visitors know that snakes might be present in that area, but they don't roam. Hanbat Bridge: Relaxing walking paths with bridges offer scenic views, including the meticulously designed pedestrian bridge connecting the arboretum to the Hanbat Tower – a true engineering and colorful masterpiece! Overall: This arboretum is a masterpiece! The design and execution are top-notch. I could easily visit here countless times and never get tired of it. **Highly recommend!**

7 Apr 2024 It was crowded with families having fun cycling around, couples having picnic under the cherry blossom trees. Flower petals were falling as the gentle winds blew. Flowers in various stages of bloom and wilt were seen. It was a nice visit.

Wow- what a beautiful place. It’s a smaller version of the New York botanical garden but has a lot to see and do! As you enter there are a couple buildings on the right which you can enter. One is a green house and the other is insect research facility with an area with some live animals. (Lizards, bugs, fish). There is also a beautiful cafe on the rooftop of one of the buildings. It’s called the healing cafe. The rooftop has a lot of flowers and small birds and good drinks and snacks. As you go further in, you get to the gardens which are quite expansive and have various different areas. There is a lookout, two large ponds, meditation areas, senses garden and even a large field for kids to run around and play. You could spend many hours here. We stayed for about 2 as we walked through and had coffee at the cafe. Best of all - ITS FREE TO ENTER!!

Thos is a great place to excape the hussel of the day. It is located near the Daejeon Art Museum and is a beautifully landscaped park area with a variety of habitats. There are open lawn areas, ponds, streams and pavilions where one can sit down and watch the surprising amount of wildlife in this hidden enclave. I recommend it as a place to go and enjoy the boardwalks that lead to unexpected scenes. The only negative for me was a little traffic noise in the northern reaches of the park. Daejeon spent allot of effort to make a special location for getting away from the crowds for a few hours or even the whole day as the opening times are long, especially in the summer. Look at the enclosed photos for more information and come and enjoy.

Nestled in the heart of Daejeon's urban landscape, Yuseong Hot Springs offers a surprising oasis with its outdoor spa surrounded by Chinese fringetrees. The alkaline spring water, rising from 200 meters below at temperatures between 27 and 56 degrees Celsius, has been cherished for centuries for its therapeutic properties. Originally discovered during the Baekje Kingdom, this natural wonder continues to attract visitors seeking relaxation and healing.
Can’t believe these hot springs are FREE! We went on a Sunday morning and wasn’t too busy. Make sure to wash your feet before you put them in and wash afterwards. Definitely worth a visit to relax. 2 different section. One pictured and the other is a little further down with different style pools
Sophie H — Google review
Wow, a public & free hot foot spa in Korea? Unbelievable. I've never seen anything like this before in South Korea. If you're in Daejeon and nearby this place, definitely consider visiting it. Especially when the weather is cold The instruction on how to use this foot spa is available in English, and is pretty common sense. Let's all practice basic manners and keep this place clean
SeungJun K — Google review
Definitely a place you must visit in daejeon, particularly when it is cold. It is a great neighborhood to have a Sunday evening stroll alone or with your family & friends.
Toyyeebah M — Google review
Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to dip my feet in because of limited space. I could read the faces of people's who were enjoying hot spring. I saw a book shelf with free books to read and relex. Kids were also enjoying with parents. Worthy visit.
Shagufta A — Google review
This is a free foot bath. If you pass this road, sit down and relax at least once. I recommend it.
H.W ( — Google review
Very interesting way to relax during such cold weather. Mostly locals and some walk by foreigners soak their foots. Soak about 20-30mins depending on your own like
MOUSE A — Google review
This is an area in Daejeon that is famois for the hot spas. In this park like area one can relax with uour feet in the hot spring water. It os also free. They call it a foot massage but no one touches your feet, they are messaged by the water! I also recommend that you walk around in the area and if you wish for a hot bath go to the YouSong Hotel. It is close to this area and lust ask as all in the area know of this famous hotel.

Daejeon Expo Science Park is one of those places where you can enjoy a bit of everything — history, science, and a relaxing walk. The park was built for the 1993 Expo, and you can still see Hanbit Tower standing tall with great panoramic views of the city. There are small museums and displays showing expo history, plus some interactive science exhibits that kids enjoy. The walking paths are wide and peaceful, with plenty of trees and seating areas. The Expo Bridge is especially beautiful in the evening when the lights come on, and sometimes there’s a music and fountain show near the plaza. It’s not a huge theme park, so don’t expect thrill rides, but it’s perfect for a 1–2 hour visit if you like scenic spots and light learning. Easiest way to enjoy it: come in the late afternoon, explore the tower and exhibits, then stay for sunset and the night lights. Great for families, couples, or anyone looking for a calm, photogenic place in Daejeon!

Daejeon Skyroad is not a highway, but a vibrant shopping arcade in the Silicon Valley of Korea. The area is home to various research institutes and science parks, making it a hub for innovation. Visitors can explore the National Science Museum, enjoy the Expo Science Park, indulge in treats from Sung Sim Dang bakery, have a blast at Daejeon O-World amusement park, and shop at Daejeon Skyroad.
If you are a shopaholic, try to avoid visiting this place. Otherwise, you'll end up spending all your money on shopping 🛍 😄 There is a good place just under the bridge where you can sit and feed ducks, enjoy the sky view, etc. 🦆🌊
Keanu — Google review
This is a popular shopping area in Daejeon, South Korea. There are many foods, and shopping malls both underground and above ground. Affordable clothes, everything you need. Near the KTX station and subway, there are always music events here. There is also a famous bakery, Seong Sim Dang, in Daejeon.😋 You go ➡️ Subway ~ Jungangno station ( 105 )

Daejeon Skyroad – A Futuristic Walk Through the Heart of the City Located in Jung-gu, Daejeon, Skyroad is a massive LED arcade stretching over 250 meters along Jungang-ro. It’s a vibrant spot where media art, shopping, and leisurely strolls come together in the middle of the city. The dazzling video displays on the arch-shaped structure make you feel like you're walking through a futuristic metropolis. The area is known as "Euneungjeong," a popular hangout filled with shopping malls, cafés, restaurants, and other conveniences. It’s especially loved by younger crowds for its lively atmosphere and trendy vibe. Just a 15-minute walk from Daejeon Station, Skyroad truly comes alive at night. The combination of lights and visuals creates a magical ambiance—perfect for snapping photos that are sure to stand out on social media. If you're looking for a unique urban experience in Daejeon, this is definitely a must-visit spot!

A main shopping street of Daejeon. It is located 1 subway station or a 15mins walk from Daejeon railway station. U would find plenty of shops retailing clothes, branded goods and food. 🥘 Whether for an exquisite meal, local delight or simple snack, you will find something you like.
Amos S — Google review
Lot of great shopping area, live, very nice and today there is a famous bred and cake and the line is huge . Come and enjoy the atmosphere
Ronit N — Google review
Unique experience for western visitors. Many stores, bakeries, restaurants, coffee shops etc. Everything is very colourful and there is a vibe of celebration. For some reason, which I am not clear about, there are multiple stores dedicated to claw machines ( aka crane game, skill crane or UFO catcher) Not one machine, not one store, but many stores of those machines. Somewhat strange. There are also stores that lets you dressup and take photos of yourself in a photo boot (which is kind of strange, given the availability of camera phones). Another uniqe shop is the cats coffeshop. It has a song that stucks in your head about how to meow. The skyroad is also very close to the Daejeon market. Both highly recommended. The only downside is the parking, but overall it is not very expensive.
Moshe B — Google review
The place has many stores and the roof over the street looks fantastic. Be aware that the main lights in the middle of the skyroad were turned off when I arrived there. I strongly suggest to check schedules and look more information on internet beforehand.I suggest you check the streets nearby as well, because they have cool lighting and several stores to hang out.
Renato V — Google review
I’ve never seen a place like this, looks like some kind of steampunk futuristic street. Definitely one of the most interesting spots of Daejeon. You will get an overload of smells, lights and noises. There are a lot of places to eat, shop and drink.

What an AMAZING gallery with cheap prices and professionally curated exhibitions. Kim Hyungkoo's oil paintings are spectacular, as are Cho Phyunghwi's ink paitings. There are some exciting upcoming exhibitions.

We came during the rainy season and stumbled upon this museum because we couldn’t do anything outside haha So our expectations were really low and in-person exceeded our expectations. There were lots of exhibits and works of art around the museum. I think we spent about 1-2 hours strolling around! Here’s some of the pieces in May 2023
Queen B — Google review
This place was a bit odd to me. I'm all for the arts but I was thinking this place was going to be one of those picture art places not gene splicing horse and human DNA to give a human prosthetic horse legs type art. So it was kinda weird. At the start of the tour, a lot of the art pieces were about body heat activated lights that were in a dark room. I enjoyed this. But toward the end, it was about prosthetics and people being controlled by robots. I am not an art person so I'm saying that this place wasn't my cup of tea per say.
Garrett M — Google review
It's a must place for interactive art lovers or if you just want to take some cool Instagram pictures.
Sharon N — Google review
Very interesting museum. They currently have exhibits based on bio mimicry and bio tech art. The museum itself is small and takes about 1 hour to view everything. There is a small cafe for drinks and small dishes. There is an interactive robot but that exhibit only opens from 2-3pm.

It was okay but 15000 won entrance fee for the special exhibition of Pulitzer Prize winning photographs were a little steep for what it was..

Expo Bridge, located south of Expo Park, is a striking architectural marvel designed by Hui Lee Shun for the 1993 exposition. The twin-arched bridge stands out during both day and night, offering stunning views of the city lights and illuminated water jets from the nearby fountain. It serves as an introduction to Daejeon City's advanced technology expo and is a popular spot for leisure activities such as biking, paddleboating, and canoeing in the river.
Quite famous place in Daejeon. There are lots of interesting things to see. Play with your camera angles and take some cool snapshots. Enjoy the fountain with music in the evening. The entrance is free for the Expo Science Building, go to the top and see Expo Bridge from there 🌃✌️💥

Beautiful place for a walk around, picnic, and spending time by biking and other activities. Parking space isn't always easy to find because it gets packed fast, especially after the new Shinshigae mall open. The blue and red bridge structure is iconic of Daejeon.

Went to KAIST for summer school. This place is about a 20 minutes walk away from KAIST. Would recommend to go during the night where it is more cooling. There is also a summer fountain show at the expo park! The expo bridge lights up at night as well (7/8pm)

Great landmark, lights up at night and is a really nice place to be for a relaxed time. It is part of the expo park, which has bicycle rentals as well as other things. Hiking Trails
Gyejoksan Mountain Red Clay Trail is a popular destination in Daejeon, South Korea. The mountain is home to the ancient Gyejoksanseong Fortress dating back to the 4th century CE. The best way to explore the mountain is through the eco-healing barefoot walking trail known as the Red Clay or Hwangtogil Trail, which opened in 2006.
Definitely recommend if you're okay with walking barefoot on a hill. I was doubtful initially, because I didn't like the thought of stepping on clay that's already been stepped barefoot by others. But the whole experience wasn't too bad. There are many foot-washing stations if you wanna wash your feet in the middle of the hike. Everyone was walking barefoot too, so it felt kinda funny tbh. I'd recommend wearing pants that are not too long or those that you can roll up. Try visiting there about two days after the rain, otherwise it could get a bit too muddy. Bring a small towel to dry your feet after the hike!
Will H — Google review
READ BEFORE YOU GO This is a 14.5 km loop (a bit more if you count the approach) through the forest. The first 5 km has the clay path that's relatively well maintained. Despite what you may have seen in social media, the majority of the path is hard compacted clay, not squishy like in the videos. There are occasional spots of softer clay, but it's mostly packed down. It also gets very slippery when wet imagine wet pottery clay beneath your feet. However, they don't really tell you but after about 5km, the path is not maintained and degenerates into essentially a gravel path, but with sharp pieces of gravel buried underneath a pile of leaves. Imagine doing a hike on a bed of Lego. It gets progressively worse until you hit the 12.5 km mark and it gets a bit better, but still nowhere near as good as the first 5k. Worse still, there is about a 1km stretch that I found about a dozen shards of glass (see video). This makes you paranoid and constantly looking at your feet to avoid the glass, this missing the whole beauty of the walk. The locals must know this because after that point there was almost no one on the trail, and the three people I saw in the last 10km all had shoes. Another minor annoyance is that there are these tiny bugs that love to hover around your face and sound exactly like mosquitos. They don't seem to bite, but are annoying non the less. I know nothing can be done about that, but I thought I would mention it so you're informed. If you do want to do the whole 15km loop, be sure to bring your shoes with you instead of leaving them at the bottom. It took me about 4.5 hours to do it barefoot without any breaks. If you have shoes on, you can definitely get it done faster. I would rate the first 5km 5*, and the last 10 km 1*. Giving a 2 overall because of the glass.
Nima N — Google review
Lovely trail in a forest setting. Went around sunset, it was pretty quiet and unlike many mountain trails in Korea the surface was smooth, no need for proper hiking shoes. Steep incline or decline in certain parts but mostly flat and easy to walk. There were still trees with fall colours and especially in dusk light they were beautiful. Did not try the clay path as it felt too cold to walk barefoot but I saw a few people doing it.
Dana — Google review
Highly recommend! I chose to only walk in the clay the last few yards on the way down. Go all the way up to the Fortress. The views are breathtaking!
Lisa R — Google review
Route to best views in Daejeon. There are shorter but steeper starting points to go up to Gyejoksan fortress or Gyejoksan mountain, which by the way are the best highest peaks I could find around. View from the fortress is better and that seems to be the main attraction. Less trees blocking the view. Other routes are not so well identified, so this is good starting point if you are new here. Otherwise than reaching the peaks by steeper climbs the routes are quite flat trails. Seems that walking bare feet in red clay is a thing here. I kept my shoes on. Thats ok too.
Aatu D — Google review
Parking is hard to find, but OPEN on Chuseok! A good amount of people, not too bad though!

Daejeon Jungang Market is a sprawling central market in Daejeon, extending from Daejeon Station to the Daejeonchon river. It comprises various smaller trading areas, including covered streets and indoor halls where you can find an array of goods such as fresh produce, electronics, traditional attire, kitchen utensils, and more. The market is popular among locals and offers a glimpse into everyday life in Daejeon.
This is a traditional market with lots of traditional food to choose from. Items sell in this market are cheap but good quality. Like the shopping feel here.

Interesting and huge place. I liked that the market is set up in a way that it has different divisions - food area, theres a clothings area, household/ dry food shopping area.. cant remember whats the other 2... The food space is quite similar to other markets.. big place to explore. But what impressed me was the clothings area. They have many ajummas sitting into tailoring/ customising hanboks. Very cool place to walk around and see the beautiful attires..

The large central market of Daejeon, there’s plenty of household items, marinated ingredients and finger food for purchase. You can either take the subway or walk there. However it is pretty quiet most of the time with quite a number of stores closed.

Typical local market with regular stuff. Not really catchy for tourists; perfect if someone just looking for authentic Korean street food.

Vesta Buffet

Buffet restaurant
Vesta Buffet is a well-known restaurant in Daejeon, South Korea, offering a high-quality buffet-style dining experience with a wide range of Korean, Japanese, and Western dishes. The modern and spacious interior provides comfortable seating for individuals and groups. Despite not having an expensive hotel feel, the restaurant offers good quality food at a reasonable price. Guests can enjoy seafood, desserts, and other dishes at just under W70000 per adult.
Did reservations through naver map app, and got 10% discount. The prices increased in July, so now is 54.000won/person. I thought it could be overpriced, but it is actually pretty decent. The food is good, variety and quality. The dessert section is super! The cakes were very delicious.
Andreia C — Google review
I feel like I come here too often. Cuz When? I couldn't think of anything to eat, I always chose to go to a buffet 🤣🤣🤣🤣
S. R — Google review
Great deal for the price. Not quite the expensive hotel feel, but quality food for the most part. Definitely a great deal for just under W70000 per adult, and half that per child. For about 1/3 the price of a top notch hotel, you still get good quality seafood and other foods, dessert, etc. Crab served every 30 minutes and one piece each, which is fine as long as you time it and get a bunch at once. Our whole party got a piece each and it was enough for the evening. I liked that they had soy sauce crab, spicy crab (both raw), abalone, and eel. The ribeye is normally done medium well, so I asked for medium rare and he made one special for me, and though it still came out medium, was much softer and I was happy with it. Also, coffee to-go on your way out was super nice. I'd definitely come again, and personally would rather come here 3 times than go to one expensive hotel. :)

A bit pricey and since it was a holiday, we had to pay dinner/weekend prices for lunch. But overall there were many options and everything I tried was fresh and delicious.

Great buffet restaurant in Daejeon. Reasonable price, and the atmosphere is really accomodating. There are many selections fot the food and desserts. Special meals such as steaks and pastas can be ordered fresh from the stand-by chefs. There is also a free take out coffee or tea. I just hope they have take out icecreams as well.

One of the best cafe in Daejeon! The location is right next to Chungnam Univ, which means you can get here very easily. I felt like I was in forest! The beverage was very good but little bit expensive. Still, since the cafe is very big, it is priceworthy. Definitely, I ll be here again!

Best Brunch in korea. Been meaning to come back for years, so glad I made it happen. Still the best

The food is so good and filling. The cafe mood is cool. I think it is kinda famous so there will be a waiting list. We had to write our name and because it's winter and full inside, we decided to stay in a nearby convenient store and waited for them to call us. So i recommend to maybe call and reserve earlier. The food is quite pricey but it's delicious.
Ailyn F — Google review
I ordered the Hash Brown Eggs Benedict and an americano, my wife ordered the breakfast platter with a vanilla latte. Overall the food was good, the Benedicts has a sweet take on it because of the caramelized onion. The eggs on the platter just needed some salt but everything else was good. The latte ehh was okay
Andy R — Google review
Small but Kinda cool place. The dishes I ordered were good and fresh. The staff members, however, are too busy to be friendly. The food is a bit expensive. But I think it isn't the problem of this restaurant, considering the average price of these kinds of dishes in western style brunch cafes in Korea. The price of the two dishes were ₩27,000. This restaurant seems like quite famous in Deajeon so you might need to be in queue for several minutes just like me. I went here on Saturday lunchtime and waited for about 40 mins.
A L — Google review
Well it was Wednesday, not even weekend but they already ran out of the resources, and could not serve a few signature menus including egg benedict and french toast. Outback Steakhouse Dunsan is a lively Australian-themed chain that specializes in serving succulent steaks, seafood, and other hearty dishes commonly found in a steakhouse. With its vibrant atmosphere and impeccable service, this establishment guarantees a satisfying dining experience. The quality of their steaks is exceptional, complemented by delectable pasta options and delightful beverages. The restaurant's cleanliness is also commendable, ensuring a truly hygienic environment for patrons to enjoy their meals.

Noppon W — Google review
The service is okay. The prices are extremely expensive. The kitchen no since of timing as they brought appetizer out, followed by salad and soup, and then the steaks. Our table had plates resting on other plates. Just to get it to fit. Ordered Aussie fries and there was very little bacon for 20,000 won. When the steaks came they set a cheese disc on fire. If you want a baked potato it's extra. If you think you're getting the same experience in the US you won't.

I want there once because i wanted to eat steak, and the atmosphere was clean and the service was verygood. The steak was really good and the pasta and drinks were so good. The cleanliness seems to be good. It seemes to be a true restaurant without any flaws i recommand the most basic ribeye steak.

Always good to go back to this cosy place. The Steaks are made to order so when you order medium well you get medium well (you don't have to cross your fingers). It seems they are hiring more English fluent staff so it's a plus point for me. My last experience here was great and I would definitely recommend this place if you are in town and craving some juicy Tomahawk Steak.

Friendly service but the food was nothing like the original chain. There was also a limited menu full of overpriced Western foods. I give them bonus points for having salad variety though, salads and English menus.

A wonderful spot to spend time, 옛터 Yeter offers three establishments for dining: a café, a Korean eatery, and a steakhouse. (Translated by Google) I visited with friends and ordered a gamjatang stew for four, not a gamjatang ttukbaegi (potato stew stew). The bones were about the size of two joints, which is about two per person. I wish there was more meat attached. They serve plenty of vegetables, but they were a bit dry after boiling, so I added more and enjoyed the meal. While gamjatang bone stew isn't usually bad, this restaurant's flavor is also excellent. The best part is the owner's generosity and the kindness of the servers. They kindly added side dishes. There are several tables in the hall, and there are also private rooms. The restaurant also has a "dolhalmae" (a type of "old lady"), and they sell local snacks and specialties, making it fun to eat and watch. If you're looking for a good meal, I highly recommend this place.

DoorRooChiGi is the stable dish of Daejeon (I have been told). This plave has been around over 20 years. It is simple spicy Tofu stew with overgrown green onion. After eating Tofu, you mix boiled handcut noodle (extra charge) in the spicy sauce. Even locals appear to have hard time handling its spiciness. There is artificial fruit flavor juice called 'Coolpis' which will help to bring down burning sensation. If you can handle spicy food, you will enjoy the dish. There is same dish with squid. Boiled pork dish is also recomaneded. Dip the meat in the sauce! Good luck.

There are two types of naeng-myeon in the menu. 냉면 is just plain normal type which has a sweet and sour flavored soup. 꿩냉면 is the 숯골원 signature. It is not 평양냉면. Their soup has a chicken stock flavor. is the second time using that airport. To my big big surprise, they did improve a lot. Thumps up. The first time, was in January, the service was a pure disaster. Now, nothing like the 'old' days. Impressed. Just keep in mind, coming here by train is a little adventure. You almost go through the woods to reach the airport! If it's a nice weather and you travel light isn't a problem. But imagine having a rainy day and a big suitcase! You wouldn't enjoy it at all. Coming here by bus is your best alternative.

Cheongju International Airport (CJJ) can get very crowded during peak travel seasons, and parking often fills up quickly: • Parking demand may exceed capacity by around 120% during holidays (e.g., Chuseok), with lots reaching full even with overflow areas activated . • There are 4 main lots: • Lot 1 & Lot 2 (primary, also EV charging available) • Lots 3 & 4 (opened only when primary lots are full) . • For long‑term parking, daily rates are ~₩10,000 for lots 1–2 and ~₩6,000 for lots 3–4 when available .

Very clean and spacious - good. But long layover and no sleeping pod to purchase, unlike Incheon (you can rent a sleeping pod or at least find places to lie down - not here) - very bad. Avoid connecting flights here in the future if long layovers.

Airport facilities are in general alright, but parking conditions are terrible. There are 4 parking areas which are all very big, but all are packed with cars without a single space. If you want to leave cars during your vacations, be very prepared in advance, or you'll be in trouble.

Hi , to who may boarding on flight 7c3172 from Cheongju to Oosaka. As you may know that flight schedule on early morning. You can’t access the airport use the public transportation. So we decided went one day earlier and stay one night on the airport. Fortunately the airport police officer let us stay. But it is not allowed as this airport no flight after 11PM still 6:55 . So please be careful. I really not suggest you choose this flight to travel . The airport located very inconvenient. No hotel nearby and taxi also not available at late time and early time. If you rent car it will be smooth . Hope this can help you.
