Theme park
Water & Amusement Parks
Enchanted Kingdom is an amusement park located in Santa Rosa, Laguna, covering 25 hectares. It features seven themed zones including Victoria Park, Portabello, Boulderville, Brooklyn Place, Midway Boardwalk, Jungle Outpost and Spaceport. The park offers a variety of rides such as Anchors Away and Space Shuttle along with live shows and educational attractions.
Always a fun place to visit. The rides are exciting and there’s a good mix for both kids and adults. The park is clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Food inside is a bit pricey but that’s expected in theme parks. Best to go early so you can enjoy more rides before the lines get long. Great spot for families and groups looking for a full day of fun.
Val T — Google review
I recently had the opportunity to revisit Enchanted Kingdom, a place I fondly remember from my childhood. While it remains enjoyable even now, I must admit that, as a tourism professional, I was somewhat disappointed by the upkeep of the facilities, though the rides themselves were still great. The overall appearance seemed a bit dated. Furthermore, I noticed a lack of cohesive branding; the ride announcements varied, and some lacked a professional touch. I believe that the staff play a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience.
Jabbar G — Google review
Perfect for a family outing, especially if you have kids! The rides, shows, and attractions are fun and memorable for all ages. A friendly reminder: bring extra t-shirts, lots of them, and towels too—the humidity in the theme park can get intense, especially during the day. It’s all part of the experience, though, and worth it for a fun day of adventure and laughter.

We went to Enchanted Kingdom to celebrate my birthday, and I had such a great time! It was already my third visit, but it’s still just as fun as the first time we went here — especially the food! I’m so excited to go back again because…i love it here haha!

Imho this is actually better than HK disneyland which I've been to twice reluctantly. It's not overpriced, not overcrowded and probably the same size. Only downside is it has no Disney brand but I would go here again for the rides. Of course Disney Tokyo, Disney Sea are on a totally different level and those are actually the best theme parks in Asia.

If you’re looking for something fun and thrilling activities, just go here. Bring your friends and family or neighbors and let them experience the xtreme rides for them to realize that life is important HAHAHAHHA. Those Rides will make them choose to live instantly.

Super fun!! My faves are: Dodgem, Up Up and Away, Flying Fiesta, and Rialto 😆💖 waiting time for some rides took around an hour tho😭 (may nakasabay na school field trip😭) but still fun!!!!!!!! Might get EKspress pass next time

It waa a lot of fun. Rio grande is still a blast after all these years. Pretty much like enchated kingdom itself. its nice to see that this place doesn't look old or dilapidated after all those years. My kids dob't like theme parks but tyey enjpyed it here so i would like to come back nad have some more fun at e.k. i guess what i didnt like in e.k is the lack of food choices. There are a lot of stall but its just repetitive. Maybe more pinoy food choices, more finger fopds, more snacks are what i wpuld suggest.

Santa Rosa Arch

Historical landmark
In the heart of the Lion City of the South stands the Santa Rosa Arch, a significant local landmark with a rich history. Built in 1931, this American colonial period structure pays homage to Paris' Arc de Triomphe and was restored by David Dia at the request of Mayor Jose Zavalla. The arch features four lions at its base and is often illuminated at night, adding to its allure as a symbol of culture and history in downtown Sta. Rosa City.
The Santa Rosa Arch, also known as the Bantayang Bato,is a monument in the city of Santa Rosa in Laguna, Philippines. The original structure was built between 1859 and 1860 and was patterned after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France. It was commissioned to be built by Arcadio Arambulo. It was built as a replacement to an old guard tower which was used by the Spanish colonial authorities to guard the then-town from bandits. The current structure was erected in 1925 during the tenure of Municipal President Jose Zavalla. Local sculptor David Dia was commissioned to renovate the arch in 1931.Since the 1931 renovation, the arch exhibits Art Deco characteristics.

The Santa Rosa Arch is a prominent landmark that can be found in what is called the Lion City of the South. Famous landmark in downtown Sta. Rosa City. Symbol of culture & history.
Ted G — Google review
The Santa Rosa Arch, or Bantayang Bato, isn’t just a monument—it’s a piece of the city’s soul. Built between 1859 and 1860, it was actually inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Pretty ambitious, right? But Santa Rosa has always been a city with big dreams. The arch we see today isn’t the original, though. It was rebuilt in 1925 under then-Municipal President Jose Zavalla, and just a few years later, in 1931, local sculptor David Diaz gave it a makeover, adding those cool Art Deco vibes. One of the most iconic parts? The four lion sculptures perched around it. They’re not just for show—they’re meant to be the city’s guardians. In fact, that’s where Santa Rosa gets its nickname, the Lion City of South Luzon. More than just an old arch, this monument is a symbol of the city’s pride, history, and identity.

Fast food restaurant
Mang Inasal provides efficient and timely service with friendly employees. The chicken they serve is more flavorful compared to a branch in Quezon City that was sampled. The cleanliness of the restroom is rated at 4 out of 5, although there were issues with the toilet not flushing properly and the water from the sink appearing less than clean for flushing purposes. There is an opportunity for improvement in this area. The restaurant offers dine-in options and does not require customers to present their vaccination cards.
The location is very accessible. And definitely there's a lot of parking space! It's in waltermart Santa Rosa!!!! Hahaha! Kidding a side. A lot of people eat in this branch. To the point that you can't really take it against the service crew if they don't usually smile and looks tired and upset 😅 The food is ok. Chicken sometimes is dry and most of the time other options are no longer available after lunch. Big space but air conditioning needs improvement.
Xandro S — Google review
Chicken Inasal is Marinated in vinegar, calamansi juice, lemongrass, and achiote oil and grilled to juicy perfection, this Filipino chicken barbecue is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser Chicken inasal, commonly known simply as inasal, is a variant of the Filipino chicken dish known as lechon manok. Chicken inasal is a grilled chicken part, typically the breast or leg, while a lechon manok is a stuffed whole chicken. It is chicken marinated in a mixture of calamansi, pepper, coconut vinegar and annatto, then grilled over hot coals while basted with the marinade. It is served with rice, calamansi, soy sauce, chicken oil and vinegar (often sinamak vinegar, a palm vinegar infused with garlic, chili peppers and langkawas). There are two popular versions of chicken inasal: the Bacolod and the Iloilo. The usual difference between them is that Bacolod's inasal has a slightly sour base flavor, while Iloilo's has a sweeter flavor, because of the addition of lechon sauce. Chicken inasal was first sold in calenderias in Iloilo in the 1890s. Chicken Inasal was selected as the representative food culture and cuisine of Bacolod and Iloilo cities respectively. This is probably because this dish originated in Iloilo and Bacolod. Some of the popular restaurants that serve Chicken Inasal are Bacolod Chicken Inasal. Then there are Mang Inasal, Manokan, Island Chicken Inasal in Boracay, Balay Dako in Tagaytay, and Barrio Inasal in Iloilo City. All restaurants sell inasal, but please note that each restaurant has its own unique atmosphere and menu due to its recipe and preparation method. Among them, Mang Inasal is the largest restaurant chain that serves Chicken Inasal, with over 600 outlets in the Philippines. Anyone can get unlimited rice for a small additional fee. The downside of this restaurant is that they do not offer any other menus except chicken inasal due to a lack of ingredients often

Extra Rice takes too long to come by. Wrong order was given and our takeout didn't have chicken oil which makes me truly sad.
Bryan B — Google review
Clean, prompt service and nice staff. Their chicken is tastier than one of the branches in Quezon City that we have tried. 😅 Restroom cleanliness is 4/5 - no flush, and then the water from the sink to be used to flush the toilet does not seem very clean. Could be improved.

We visit Mang Inasal in Waltermart Sta Rosa today Dec 4, 2022. The person giving order is the same person cleaning the tables. We watch the personel while cleaning tables and we noticed that he never change his plastic gloves right after wiping tables and trays and even after getting the dishes. He has the same exact plastic gloves to use in giving orders, extra rice and giving utensil which is very unsanitary. Staffs are not friendly and looks like they are being forced to work and look unhappy in what they are doing. They also did not give your orders in one go and let you come back and forth 3-4 times to get all your orders and they don't even have any idea about your orders and has to show your receipt wherein fact they should've the list for all the orders. Very bad experience and we will never go back on this location. The management should do something about this.

Filipino restaurant
Kuya J at SM City Santa Rosa is a must-visit Filipino restaurant that promises to satisfy your cravings for authentic local cuisine. It's the perfect place to take visiting friends and family from abroad for a memorable dining experience. Indulge in their mouthwatering crispy pata and delectable baked scallops, which come highly recommended by patrons. Don't miss out on their delightful Halo-Halo, Beef Tadyang Sinigang, and refreshing Cucumber Shake.
This was my first time trying Kuya J, and the experience was mixed. The food was okay—just your usual Filipino fare, nothing particularly special. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was nice, and the ambiance is modern and stylish, making it a pleasant place to dine in. However, the waiting time was disappointing. Even though it was a weekday and not busy, it took 30 minutes for our food to arrive. We ordered the family bundle, and we expected it to come out more quickly. Overall, it was an okay first experience, but the long wait time is something that definitely needs improvement.
Don V — Google review
We had lunch here today and ordered their 50% promo set meal along with the lumpia balls. The food took a while to arrive (which I thought Kuya J had already improved on, as they’re known for their very slow service) but that was fine since we were on a 2-hour break. The lumpia balls came first and it looked very appetizing, but when we bit into them, they were completely raw inside. We informed the waitstaff, and they took them back to the kitchen. However, when they returned, they were still a bit raw, so I just asked to have them canceled. The servers also came across as a bit hostile and passive-aggressive, which made the experience more unpleasant.
Dwight L — Google review
Disappointing Experience at Kuya J – SM Sta. Rosa Branch I usually write positive reviews when I’m satisfied with both the food and service, but today I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Despite several empty seats inside, we were made to queue outside just to place our orders. After ordering, we were told to expect a 40–45 minute wait, which we accepted. We then waited outside standing for another 10–15 minutes before being seated. We expected things to go smoothly after that, but after 30 minutes, only the sinigang was served. Since there was no indication that the rest of our food would arrive soon, we requested the rice so we could at least eat with the sinigang — but even that took several follow-ups and arrived partially uncooked. We were a group of four, but only three soup bowls were provided — one of which still had water in it. We weren’t sure if it had just been washed or used and not dried properly. Since we had nowhere to empty it ourselves, we had to ask the staff to take care of it. It took almost an hour before the rest of our viands arrived. Even then, we had to follow up again for the second rice platter we initially ordered, as well as for basic items like tissue. What added to our frustration was seeing customers who arrived after us being served first — even though we didn’t order anything that required extra preparation. Throughout the experience, no staff member gave us any update on the status of our order, despite several follow ups, which made us feel ignored and unvalued as customers. We’ve had consistently good experiences at Kuya J branches in Cavite and Manila, which is why we chose to dine here again. But this visit fell far below expectations. The food may still be good, but good service is just as essential. I hope this feedback encourages improvement — because loyal customers expect and deserve better.
Maribel C — Google review
The service at Kuya J SM Sta. Rosa needs improvement. Our food took almost 45 minutes to arrive, and when it did, the sinigang was way too sour, and the vegetables weren’t properly cooked. Not worth the wait or the price. Hopefully, they can improve their service and food preparation.
Reiko L — Google review
We waited 30 minutes outside the restaurant for a table. Before agreeing to wait, the staff took our advance order to supposedly prepare it ahead of time—but even after we were seated, we still waited anothee 30 minutes for our food. I asked one of the crew for napkins, and he told me to wait. After several minutes with no follow-up, I had to ask again before he finally gave them to us. Later, my wife asked the same crew for water. Again, we were told to wait while he served other tables. 15 minutes later, we were already eating dessert and still had no water, so I had to follow up again before we were finally served. Right after giving us water, he asked to clear our plates—even though I was still eating my dessert and drinking. I just nodded and said okay. He then said the bill was on its way and quickly cleared the table. It felt like we were being rushed out. This crew clearly didn't want to serve us and acted like we were bothering him. If you don’t want to serve customers, you shouldn’t be working in a restaurant. It felt like clearing our table was his way of telling us to leave. The food was good, but the service was bad—slow, uncoordinated, and lacking basic customer care. I don’t recommend this branch, they seriously need to improve their staff training and attitude.

We just had a late lunch at this restaurant at s.m sta.rosa,we are hungry and exhausted for a long day and they just give us a very poor service!!! Food is incomplete, some orders was not serve ,and not just that event water is also hard for them to be serve like we ask for it like 4 times. Other tables was complaining also for there vat charges.like if you entered there restaurant even you order or not you will be automatically charge and you are included for there total vat sales. What a service. And even there supervisor cannot explained it well to us. Holly crap!!!!!!!

Very disappointing service! For almost 1hr waiting, i talked to your crew to follow up the 2 sets of solo meals...he said, cooking na po sir. And i insist to cancel the orders, and after 1 minute. This is your order po, then my wife and i expecting the food "Very hot food" because the word "cooking". To make it short this bad experience, we'd taste the " pares beef and sizzling chicken",.lumamig na Kuya J! Anong nangyari Kuya J?

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's is a well-established, enduring fast-food chain renowned for its scrumptious burgers and fries. Upon entering the bustling establishment with a sizeable cohort of seniors, we promptly approached the counter as it appeared unoccupied. It was irksome that at every McDonald's branch we frequented, we were urged to use the self-service kiosks despite the venue being devoid of customers.
When i find it inconvenient to dine in McDonalds Cabuyao and McDonalds Pulo, because of "Coke without ice" service, we go here to satisfy our craving. 5 stars over all rating and i mean it.
Anju V — Google review
McDonalds is consistently good. It's the store service and the ambiance inside that varies. For instance in this branch, juice was accidentally spilled on the customer and on floor around the counter but the counter person did not bother to grab some napkins and hand it over or make an effort to help the customer. Instead, I had to call her attention to act on it. The floor of the toilet is wet which can cause an accident. I saw one crew enter and use the toilet but he did not bother to mop it dry. Minor things like these are part in their training. I hope the crews in this branch will improve. And management act on this.
Travel T — Google review
My husband had the iced coffee and I had brewed. Both were downright nasty. The burger had a slice of tomato taken from the front which had the "eye" - they didn't even bother to remove it. We understand inflation, but does it have to happen 3 ways - prize, size, and quality? Your business will suffer in the long run.
Claire S — Google review
We arrived in a big group with lots of senior citizens, so went straight to the counter since no one was actually there. It just annoying that every MCDO’s branch that I visited will ask me to order from the self service thing even if the place is actually empty. Since we had a big group we took a long time doing the self order machine and ends up still ordering at the counter anyway. Everything was good, the manager handled our group well apart from the part that one of the lola got upset with the cashier because she was the first one to order and she got her order wrong. And we have to follow-up for some of our missing order. Apart from that the service was fast and the place was clean.

TGI Fridays is a popular casual dining establishment that exudes a lively and festive atmosphere. This chain restaurant offers an extensive menu of American cuisine, along with an impressive selection of beer and cocktails. Customers can expect excellent service from the attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. While the ordering process might differ from local norms, it doesn't detract from the overall experience.
The best TGI Fridays branch so far! Really enjoyed their unli Mojitos. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Very good customer service. They have free unlimited nachos too! Definitely bang for the buck. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

We had lunch at TGI Fridays and it was a pleasant experience. We just wanted to have a quick lunch since we are on our way to a staycation, and it was perfect because there was no waiting time even though it is lunchtime when we arrived. The service was fast and the staffs were really nice and accommodating. We ordered the seafood platter which my husband and son really liked. My son had his always favorite mac&cheese, my husband has the whiskey glazer loin pork, and I had the milkfish meal. We also ordered a truffle bacon pizza which is also good. The prices were reasonable and I even enjoyed the 50% off from my credit cards promo. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch and I’d definitely come back again.

Food taste is okay but the meat portion is not on par with the price. Meat portion like chicken with the pasta, chicken with the salad. You will not be full with the regular sized salad even with add on chicken. I also have never experienced a restaurant with lots of mosquitos! I just wanted to eat fast and leave. Staff were really good with service. The manager should prepare the restaurant for the guests and do something about those mosquitos.
