Had a great time. All the staff were really friendly and spoke great English so I didn't miss out on any of the experiences. Having the people dressed in period dress and carrying out period activities really brought the museum to life.

Kids found this super. Multiple workshops. Good explanation. There are not that many historic houses ( but we are spoiled and used to bokrijk in belgium 😇) but at almost everyone there is someone explaining old crafts etc. Kids go for Free. Definitely advise a visit here if you're in the neighborhood. Take some picnick or buy some very tasty artisans bread. If you get rain you can shelter in kne of the houses.
A large living open air museum, with lots to see for the whole family. Some minuses where not able to ride the train if you don't have cash or Danish mobile pay and the restaurant didn't sell any food or snacks, just drinks and ice cream. Also some of the houses could do with a bit of love. They are old but there is a difference between old and falling a part. But still the atmosphere and all the houses, animals, objects that are really good (and there's a lot) make it a good visit!
Call place if not a high season. If museum is closed you can enter the park area anyway for jus 40 dkk , but can pay only with mobilpay.
It's quite interesting with living animals. We visited Hjerl Hede on a Saturday, unfortunately there were no handyman to show the old techniques. At the beginning there was a work station for the children to built a little boat.
A little slice of the past amidst some beautiful surroundings. The volenteer workers are very kind, informative and passionate about the history. Well worth the visit

Yet again did I visit this magnificent theater and this time to see amazing musical of The Beauty and The Beast. It was truely a spectacular stageshow with high class acting and sublime singing. It was a great pleasure to see and I will come back for more.
It is a great concert venue, with fantastic acoustics. Also, the stage is fully visible from all rows. Staff is also very friendly.

I can only rate this one a 5-star even though we were not inside the theater itself. We attended the Sting concert on the square and it was awesome. The aging man can definately still sing. It was a hell of a concert.

A great museum. I have read everything and have also heard every audio book that you could hear there. Fascinating to put yourself in this situation from the seafarers from back then. At first glance, the museum doesn't look big. But once you get inside there is so much to discover. In addition, the museum is divided into different floors. This museum was one of the best surprises during our Denmark vacation in 2020. It is really nicely done, telling the story of the sunken ships St George and Defence. There are many historic artefacts in the museum, but also the stories behind, both presented in a conventional way and utilising new digital technologies. There are many opportunities for interaction. Also there is a great lookout from the tower of the building and there is a fantastic playground in front of the museum. We can highly recommend this place both for families with children as well as for adults. Five stars!

We were greeted by incredibly friendly staff. In the lobby there is a place for bags and outerwear. There is a cafе and a shop with souvenirs.
This museum consists of two parts. In one part there is a historical museum, and in the second part the art.
History part made a great impression on us. I'm really grateful to the staff for the exposition they created. My husband and I are 28 years old, but we enjoyed spending time as little children☺️.
In the art museum we were able to enjoy different exhibitions. And again, the work of the staff is the best, I mean the people who are responsible for the design and cleanliness.
In some halls, there was music and different sounds. These sounds created a special mysterious atmosphere.
I used to work in a museum and I know how much work is needed to keep the museum in good condition. I can confidently say that there are people who like their work👍.

Love your museum. We have spend 4 hours. Such an interesting collection. Well showed the history of the area.
I only visited the private venue as part of a family gathering, so never got to experience the exhibition and display. Although did hear from family members that the dragon / dinosaur exhibition was particular popular for my younger nephews. When next back in town we will hopefully have a chance to visit. The external and internal visitor areas were all really clean and all staff were polite and helpful too.
The dragon exhibition is not good if you don't speak Danish. There is an English and a German text leaflet, but you need to search endlessly to connect the exhibits to the texts. It would be better to have QR codes on the exhibits or small english texts.
A lovely art museum, with something for every taste.

We were attending a wedding, I was toastmaster, and the head-waiter (Bille) went all in to give us the best experience possible. Totally professional in all aspects of service, keeping me in the loop all the time, and keeping all the guests happy. I can highly recommend Ekte if you're having a party, come-together, or just want a cozy evening with good food and drinks.

The service was extremely bad, given the fact that it should be a 4 star restaurant. The waiter did not know the menu, we got sat in the lobby even tho we reserved a table, no chance to taste the wine, nobody came to ask if our food was in order, it took a very long time for somebody to come and take our plates. Fantastic food, the service is very capable, and seem be around right when you need them, and gone when you don't. The ambiance is very classical and stylish, and the music is at just the right volume and consists of very weel done and very smooth sounding cover songs...

Cheeseburger and Fries hit the spot. However the restaurant could use more staff. It would also help if guests started cleaning after themselves or at least didn’t leave their trays at the table. We’ve been here two years in a row and both times it tasted amazing.
The restaurant on its own is fine, except for unclean tables and some stray napkins here and there. but the workers, they are not very positive, they don't smile to you and seem very unenthusiastic in general and the food is not well prepared. Its seems like they don't have anything under control and are missing half of their ingredients constantly...
We ordered three milkshakes and waited 40 minutes for them to forget one of them. After I told them that there was one missing they needed another 20 minutes to make the missing one because they first made all the burgers. I think it’s ridiculous to wait an hour for 3 milkshakes and they didn’t even taste that good

Good Indian food!!! Or that's what it used to be a year ago... new owner... very disappointed. The Chicken in the butter chicken was not chicken... probably it was turkey. The rice used to be fluffy and aromatic...this time they were bland and stone cold. The Lamb Korma was tasteless... really sad...this used to be a little gem of an Indian restaurant in Holstebro.. not so any more :-(
