Parks
Allea Park of San Luca is a central park located in the heart of Novara, offering a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day and especially popular among young people during weekend nights. While there are regulations that limit certain activities for children, the park is well-maintained with ample space for various recreational activities. It features a beautiful pathway behind bustling bars, making it an ideal spot for romantic evening strolls or relaxation.
Central park of novara, right in the middle of the city, close to the bar zone, usually the place is active, most if the day time there's someone around, in the weekend nights its usually full of young people, so just to seat or start a rando conversation. If you wont see any dogs in the park (unlikely) you could also see some birds, butterflies, and rabbits. It is really really recommended in the pre summer time and until September more or less to put some anti mosquitoes spray, or you just might getting eaten alive... enjoy ;)

Wonderful park other than the fact that children cannot do the things that children do because of all the really silly and stupid regulations. Like running on the grass, climbing trees, etc, etc, etc.

(Translated by Google) The Alicarni butcher's shop in Novara's covered market is a wonderful place to go to buy fresh, high-quality meat. The butcher's shop stands out for the vast choice of cuts of meat available and for the care with which the staff takes care of the customer. The sales staff are very kind and available to provide information on the preparation and cooking methods of the chosen meat. In particular, if you are looking for an excellent fillet, you cannot miss the scottona steak, with its delicate tones and tender, tasty meat. But there are also many other specialties, such as boiled cuts, veal stew, tripe, cotechino and salami. Furthermore, the Alicarni butcher's shop is also an excellent choice for those looking for organic and zero kilometer products. Buying here means supporting the local production chain and contributing to protecting the environment. In short, if you are in Novara, I highly recommend you stop by the Alicarni butcher's shop: a place where quality and customer care come first. Stadium
Stadium Silvio Piola offers a unique experience for football enthusiasts, blending nostalgia with the vibrant atmosphere of local matches. While some facilities like the bathrooms may need attention and cleanliness could be improved, the overall charm of this venue shines through. The stadium is surrounded by ample parking space, making it convenient for visitors. Despite a few pesky mosquitoes after rain showers, fans can enjoy an authentic Italian vibe in the stands that truly enhances the matchday experience.
Attended a game here and the atmosphere is fantastic.. some nostalgic local football. Pure Italian vibes in the stands
Abdelrahman N — Google review
The stadium sits outside and quite a walk from the historic centre and train station (taxi was around €10 one way) and facility wise is very basic. Stadium features a 'plastic pitch' and there is a video scoreboard opposite the main stand, which is covered. Novara fans created a good atmosphere full of support vs local rivals Pro Vercelli. Large car park adjoins so easy to access and park if driving. One food kiosk served fans outside. Inside, there was a table set up with a limited offer of beer and snacks. Pretty much your classic average lower league municipal Italian stadium...was Serie A not that long ago.
Carl B — Google review
The bathrooms were poorly maintained, the seats were dirty but all in all the camp was nice, there were a lot of mosquitoes because it had rained.

(Translated by Google) very very good, much better than the one in the center that every 2x3 cancels orders because they are always missing something. tonight we got the new rolls with meatballs and they are nothing short of spacey, I hope they stay. the only flaw was that they removed the salami from the cold cuts and it's a shame because I loved the piadina with salami, rocket and cheese. I hope they put it back.

(Translated by Google) I was a regular customer but today I was disappointed. I ordered a piadina for a quick lunch in the office and it arrived practically empty! Three counted slices of bresaola, one of lettuce and two very small pieces of tomato. For 6.90 for piadina plus delivery (12.70 total) I expected, not just a pound of cured meat, but at least not to eat just the dough. Never happened before, but I won't order again.

(Translated by Google) I know this company and I can say that it really pays attention to detail in the preparation of the piadine, from the dough to the ingredients chosen for the filling. The difference is made by the staff, by the attention they put into every single piadina. It only takes a few seconds more to make a dish too dry, or a few less to leave it raw. Here in Novara I ate some perfect piadinas, both for spreading and filling. The ingredients were arranged in the right places and in the correct quantities. I recommend the kamut dough, it costs €1 more but it is really light and digestible without giving up a good flavour.

(Translated by Google) Really disappointing experience. The place had beautiful decor but that's the only thing I can praise. We showed up a quarter of an hour after the noon opening, and were told that we had to wait outside because the service wasn't ready yet. Once inside we were able to order but the dishes arrived exorbitantly slowly, which I can't explain given the semi-empty place and above all because you only order 4 dishes at a time. Unfortunately, the sushi also did not live up to expectations, with flavors that did not match. I won't go back (Original) Esperienza davvero deludente.

Restaurant
Located next to the Coccia Theater in Novara, Cannavacciuolo Café & Bistrot is a historic establishment with modern decor and a terrace. It offers a diverse menu to satisfy both sweet and savory cravings. Visitors can enjoy creative dishes and an extensive selection of Italian pastries prepared fresh daily. The café provides a pleasant setting for morning coffee, while the bistro serves up delicious meals.
The 3 of us spent a splendid lunch at this Bistrot. Abundant fun and creative plates. We had the blind tasting menu with 7 plates, but in the end, I think we had like 11 plates. We had an aperitif, a bottle of rosé, and cold, spiked coffee. The bill came to 120€ and a super full belly per person. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and the chairs were very comfortable which was important for a 2.5 hour meal. The terrace was amazing but was close at lunch due to the heat. The staff was knowledgeable and professional; the masks were always on. We will visit again.
Carol C — Google review
At the café: What you get in the plate is definitely a 4+ (tasty, creative, good looking). The decoration is rather on the poor/austere side, not welcoming and far from being cosy. I’ll give it a 3-. The service is truly poor, far from usual Italian warm & welcoming hospitality. I’ll give it a 2. Hence the global note of 3. It is a pity the renomé of the famous chef has no side effect on the level of service.

I celebrated my 23rd wedding anniversary today 13/06 2021. The service was good, but not excellent. Unfortunately, the waitress totally forgot our requests. At the beginning, I told her I didn't like fish and the first dish they brought was with seafood 🙄. Then, we ordered the wine test and they forgot about it. When we were in the 6th dish, we asked the sommelier what happened with the wine. He didn't know anything. Communication breakdown breakdown occurred within the staff.

Deludente. We enjoye fine dining but objectively and unfortunately we did not eat well at all at Bistrot, which is quite surprising given all the hype. Maybe a bad day for the kitchen? I would not go back to test this theory, so many excellent restaurants in Northern Italy to return to, this one can just get archived as a bad memory.

The Basilica of San Gaudenzio is a prominent landmark in Novara, Italy. Its towering central cupola, reaching 121 meters high, makes it visible from almost anywhere in the city. The 19th-century masterpiece features ornate columns and colorful frescos inside its opulent interior. This church is renowned for its impressive dome, one of the largest in Italy, offering breathtaking views from the top.

The Basilica, a symbol of Novara, adds a wonderful atmosphere to the city with its high dome and exterior facade that harmonizes with the surrounding streets. The architecture of the Basilica is truly fascinating and worth exploring. The interior is not cluttered with objects, with the architectural features taking center stage. I can say it's a religious structure that impresses you with its grandeur as soon as you step inside. We enjoyed exploring it. Wonderful church, however the way to get the best view is inside a bank parking lot. The security guard is extremely unfriendly. Why would they not allow access to see the beautiful structure? I guess this is reinforces the trend of Italy giving control of historical monuments to corporations.

Refreshing contrast between ornate decor and plain walls. Quiet, still atmosphere and not crawling with tourists. The statue that was formerly atop the spire is now inside so you can get close up to see the details.

Museo di Storia Naturale "Faraggiana Ferrandi" is a charming museum located next to the Duomo di Novara, offering free entry. It showcases an impressive collection of taxidermy animals, including reindeer, badgers, kingfishers, lions, tigers, and even a polar bear. Each display provides detailed information about the animal's habitat and lifecycle.
What a hidden gem of the city! We went today with 3 years old and 5 years old. We loved it! It is well maintained and very educational! Many to explore!
Lan X — Google review
Staff is very kind and it is clear they try their best, and we acknowledge and appreciate it. But the museum itself is just... not good. The exhibits are old, done in outdated methods, and wonky-looking. As a lover of natural history museums I was deeply disappointed. It can only be enjoyable for someone who never saw taxidermy before, maybe. I feel bad for leaving this review, since I can very clearly tell an effort was made in order to make this museum better and more modern. But at the end of the day, it's just a small bunch of decades old, poorly taxidermied animals in small rooms, and is just not worth the time or the parking money. I can not, for the life of me, understand the high rating on Google.

(Translated by Google) The first surprise is its gratuitousness, the second is the richness of its content; I believe the entire animal world is represented, placed in the reconstructions of the various habitats and accompanied by explanatory panels. A museum that has the flavor of times gone by; to make it more current it should be enriched with multimedia contributions and I don't think anyone would object if entry was paid. I think he is not very well known; we happened upon it by chance attracted by the advertisement of an interesting photographic exhibition open until December 1st 2024.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I'm not particularly fond of stuffed animals, but I have to say that in this museum they are artfully displayed, following a very interesting path. The staff is friendly and helpful, the displays are clear and well-lit, with small multi-sensory stops and a photography exhibition. I also think the children's activities, which we glimpsed during the visit, are very interesting (unfortunately, my kids are too old). The visit is free and lasts at least an hour. It's definitely worth a visit (or two!) (Original) Bello, bello, bello.

Casa Bossi, a neoclassical architectural gem designed by Antonelli, is a prime example of 19th-century civil architecture. Although it has suffered from neglect, efforts have been made to restore parts of the structure and open it to the public. The house, located on the highest point of the city, boasts over 200 rooms spread across three levels and covers approximately 6500 m2. It features secret passages designed to prevent servants and gentlemen from encountering each other.
(Translated by Google) Enchanting! Visited on Sunday 8 December, thanks to the commitment and courtesy of the volunteers of the "Amore x Casa Bossi Committee". The visit lasts about a couple of hours, and extends between the internal garden, the first and second floors. The villa boasts approximately 6000 m2 of internal surfaces and 259 rooms, as well as stables, cellars, an outdoor garden, several floors built on multiple levels. Many anecdotes and gems told by the guides who accompanied us, the marvelous "The Magic Room", from which, thanks to small holes strategically positioned on the frames, it is possible to see with extreme meticulousness the projection of the Dome of San Gaudenzio and the The bell tower, together with the skyline of the surrounding houses, is difficult to explain in words, forgive me, but go and see it, it's really worth it!!! If possible, visit it at sunset, because this projection is colored naturally thanks to the sun's rays! It's a shame that the Municipality of Novara, despite owning the property, does not take care of the maintenance and renovation of such a work of art that Antonelli left us! (Original) Incantevole!

The house stands on the highest point of the city, conceived around the mid-19th century and has reached the present day in a bit of a state of repair. and decadent but still full of its charm... Thanks above all to the committee for the Bossi house and to other associations who contributed to the reopening of the doors of this incredible palace... recently it has in fact been possible to visit a large part of it with a guide. This gigantic house is full of stairs, passages, rooms and halls with ceilings where you can still see some frescoes and with a truly unique view of the dome and the bastion that overlooks the lower part of the city thanks to the numerous balconies and small balconies... It tells an incredible number of more or less important stories of people who lived there until the 80s... among these stories there is also a small space for my memories... that on those stairs and in those courtyards I was lucky and the privilege of playing when I was a child....seeing it again today still gives me that desire for adventure that it hid in every corner and let's not talk about the attic!!! Unfortunately, unlike the latter, the deterioration it is experiencing is evident, despite attempts in recent decades to put a stop to the structural decline of the building. The efforts made in this sense are undeniable, and it is clear that the funds for a real renovation of a building of this size are very difficult to find; however, you need to keep making attempts to get it back on track, both externally and internally. It is a small masterpiece of Antonelli's nineteenth-century neoclassicism, and a wise architectural recovery would make it an artistic pride of Novara.

Cupola di San Gaudenzio, an architectural masterpiece by Antonelli, offers guided tours that take visitors up to 100m. The ascent to the spire is quite interesting, with comfortable stairs throughout. The dome of the Saint Gaudentis Church is a majestic structure in the region and provides truly fascinating information about the dome and the Basilica. It's an experience not to be missed for those who appreciate architectural wonders.

Experience the excitement of exploring the dome of San Gaudenzio, a defining landmark of Novara and a standout element of its skyline, visible from nearly every part of the city and beyond. Constructed over four decades, the dome showcases the brilliance of Alessandro Antonelli and stands as one of the most ambitious masonry structures in the world, comparable to the Mole Antonelliana in Turin. By following walkways that were once inaccessible to the public, and equipped with a helmet and harness, you can uncover the history of this remarkable example of 19th-century architecture. From the sweeping colonnades and the spire rising 100 meters high, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the city, from the distant Alps to the skyline of Milan.

(Translated by Google) It's supposed to be some kind of gourmet restaurant, at least the names of the dishes, the prices and the quantities suggest this. Since there were no vegetarian options at all, we took a pasta dish without squid and a rice dish without mussels, which did not affect the salted prices. Both dishes came in green sauces that actually only tasted salty. The two stars are the result of a nice waiter and a clean toilet with a full soap dispenser and dry towels.

Terrible experience! Would never recommend! The food was good, but the service is the worst I’ve ever seen. Waiter and waitress were so slow and didn’t care. Waited for bottle of water for 15 minutes. When I asked for Drink menu waiter looked at me like I’m some sort of crazy person. He said why you need the menu there’s just drinks.... Waited for the main course for 40 minutes and when asked how long I have to wait he said - long! And then he added- if you don’t like it, you can go! There were few tables taken. The Galleria d'Arte Moderna Paolo e Adele Giannoni is a captivating fusion of medieval and Renaissance design, showcasing the evolution of Italian culture and art. The contrast between its name and architecture reflects the city's growth. Visitors can explore historic rooms with coffered ceilings, enjoy a wonderful view from the loggia, admire frescoes in the argentario, and appreciate paintings by renowned artists like Giovanni Segantini.
not a big gallery with numerous and beautiful creations of painting. very quiet and not crowded place. I advise you to visit, numerous halls will please art lovers. kind and polite staff will always help. Excellent location in the center of the old town, in a historic building with beautiful architecture.

The Giannoni Gallery in Novara is among the most significant modern art collections in Piedmont, featuring works from the 19th and early 20th centuries. It is housed within the Broletto monumental complex, situated in the historic center of the city.

The Senoras who helped me negotiate this large collection of wonderful Italian artwork, were multilingual, efficient and understood their collection very well. The attached restaurant was very good too. 5 star.

Excellent! One of my fav gallery. Not big, enough about 1-1,5 hour to enjoy. Here are some of my most favorite paintings as well as my favorite Giovanni Segantini (also many paintings such artistic directon like Divisionism). Generally museum is very well-kept and modern. Btw there is also a very large and old hall "Palazzo del Comune" inside gallery, emotions to see so old historical original building is incredible.

The works exhibited are truly wonderful and range from the Risorgimento era to twentieth-century art. The staff is kind and helpful and the prices are honest. The visit is highly recommended to immerse yourself in the art between the 19th and 20th centuries and enjoy these masterpieces! The Cathedral of Novara, also known as the Duomo di Novara or Cathedral of St. Mary Ascension, is a significant religious structure in the heart of Novara's historic town center. While often overshadowed by the Basilica di San Gaudenzio, it boasts a neoclassical design and features a separate baptistery dating back to the 4th century.

Nestled within the Sacred Area complex, the Musei della Canonica del Duomo di Novara offers a captivating journey through time with its impressive collections of sacred art and illuminated manuscripts. This museum is divided into two main sections: the Lapidary Museum, which showcases memorial stones and altars dating back to as early as the second century BC, and the Museum of the Treasure of the Cathedral, featuring an array of religious artifacts that highlight Novara's rich ecclesiastical history.

(Translated by Google) The Rectory of the Cathedral of Novara represents an unmissable stop on the journey through history that stretches from antiquity to the Middle Ages. Located in the heart of the city, the Canonica offers a precious testimony to the ecclesiastical and architectural history of Novara, dating back to its origins in the first half of the 12th century. The initial construction, commissioned by Bishop Litifredo, included a "claustrum" intended to accommodate the clerics of the local Church. This space was organized around a courtyard, surrounded by houses on three sides and the Bishop's Palace on the western side. The Rectory has undergone numerous expansions and modifications over the centuries, including the introduction of a portico and the construction of a loggia adjacent to the Bishop's Palace. Between 1476 and 1486, this loggia was closed to create a room for the chapter library. Analyzing the structure of the Rectory, it is clear that the northern sleeve is the oldest part, characterized by a masonry made of reused bricks in a herringbone pattern. This architectural complexity reflects the different historical phases that have overlapped over time. The unevenness of the vaults is balanced by the pointed arches, which give a sense of uniformity to the complex. Along the portico, you can admire numerous pictorial testimonies from periods prior to the restoration, together with terracotta tiles that framed the original windows. The walls of the rectory's quadriportico also host numerous ancient works of art, forming what is known as the Lapidary Museum, established by Canon Carlo Francesco Frasconi in 1813. This museum collects Roman epigraphs, tombstones and monuments. To ensure the conservation of these finds, many of them were transferred to the Museums of the Canonica del Duomo, located in the adjacent buildings, and replaced by faithful reproductions. The Museums of the Canonica del Duomo of Novara can be freely visited during the weekends and upon reservation during the week. These museums offer a fascinating experience, allowing visitors to explore not only the ecclesiastical history, but also the architectural and artistic evolution of Novara. Today, the Rectory of the Cathedral of Novara is part of a larger complex that includes the Cathedral itself, the Baptistery and the Bishop's Palace. This complex represents a cultural heritage of inestimable value, which bears witness to centuries of history, art and faith. Visiting the Rectory of the Cathedral of Novara means taking a journey through time, discovering the deep roots of the city and appreciating the beauty and richness of its historical heritage. I highly recommend anyone who is in Novara not to miss the opportunity to visit the Canonica del Duomo. Its fascinating history and works of art make it an essential destination for lovers of culture and history.

Starvin' Burger is renowned for its delectable burgers, which are meticulously crafted to achieve an exceptional blend of taste and consistency. Extensive research is dedicated to perfecting not only the meat but also the bun, resulting in a harmonious combination of flavors. The accompanying sauces are expertly chosen to complement each sandwich's distinctive character. Additionally, the fries offered at Starvin' Burger are genuine and satisfyingly crispy, while their chicken dishes feature real cuts of meat rather than processed alternatives.
Possibly some of the most delicious burgers I have eaten. Much research is put into the flavour and the texture, not only of the meat, but also of the bun. The sauces match very well with the specific character of each sandwich. The fries are actual fries, and the chicken meat is actual chicken, not processed. Try the nuggets and you won't regret it

Santuario di Maria Ausiliatrice, also known as the Marian sanctuary of the Salesian institute S. Lorenzo of Novara, is a sacred place that offers a serene and peaceful environment in the heart of the city. The sanctuary is rich in artistic works and provides a sense of inner peace and comfort to its visitors. Despite being located in the city center, it serves as an oasis of silence and tranquility.
(Translated by Google) Always "my" Marian sanctuary par excellence. I regularly attend the s. Festive mass at 11.15am and, every time I seek comfort or simply need to be listened to, I always find an important point of reference in the person of the Rector of the Sanctuary. Stefano C — Google review
(Translated by Google) It is a beautiful Marian sanctuary, very well kept and welcoming. It was built between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with the laying of the first stone in 1896. It obtained the official title of sanctuary in 1912. Its architecture is clearly inspired by the neoclassical style, but with very personal touches: the coffered ceiling and, above all, the serliana loggia that runs along the entire single hall of the church almost as if it were a sort of women's gallery are elements that give a Renaissance touch to the building. In addition to the profound religious meanings (the cult of Mary Help of Christians was introduced to Novara by the Salesians of San Giovanni Bosco), the sanctuary is also interesting from an artistic point of view. In particular, the Chapel of the Crucifix is notable, which houses a beautiful sculpture in cast bronze with both high and low relief workmanship: the work was created by the Novara sculptor Carlo Cantoni (1872 - 1944), who depicts episodes around the large central Crucifixion of the life of Jesus.

Galleria Dei Portici is a small shopping center in Novara, offering access to a unique tea shop and other local businesses. While it may not provide the extensive retail experience of larger malls, it's a convenient stop for everyday necessities. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll through this historic arcade, which has been a beloved spot for locals over the years. It's also an excellent place to escape the sun for a while and explore the charming local shops inside.

(Translated by Google) The Galleria dei Portici in Novara is a well-structured shopping gallery well located in the heart of the city. However, there is one big flaw that I cannot fail to mention: it is always deserted. Every time I pass by, all the shops and bars inside are always empty or even closed. It's really a shame, because with the right vitality it could become a nice place for a large bar or a shopping promenade. The structure itself is inviting and would have all the potential to be a lively and popular meeting point. We hope in the future it can be enhanced and animated as it deserves. In summary, the Galleria dei Portici is an excellent location, but unfortunately it lacks the dynamism that would make it a real center of attraction.

The Chiesa Sant'Eufemia is a charming, petite church that may not grab attention at first glance, but it boasts an impressive size. Adjacent to it is an oratory where children can engage in play. The parish priest generously permits small groups like boyscouts to generate funds by selling pastries and treats following the mass. This place attracts friendly individuals and emanates tranquility as a Catholic Church should.

(Translated by Google) The Church of Sant'Eufemia, in Novara, is a jewel of history and art that I have often found closed, but which I can't wait to visit. Its origins date back to ancient times, contemporary with the construction of the churches of Ognissanti and San Nazzaro della Costa. Already at the time of Bishop Litifredo, this church was a place of worship granted to the brotherhood to celebrate liturgies. During the period of the brotherhood of San Defendente, until 1586, the management of the church was entrusted to them. Subsequently, Sant'Eufemia became a hospice for pilgrims, a role it maintained until the nineteenth century. The brotherhood, in fact, left the church due to the union with the order of the Confraternity of the SS. Trinity of the Pilgrims of Rome. In 1666, the building underwent a Baroque style renovation, similar to what happened to the Church of Ognissanti. The current facade, concave and characterized by a refined two-tone between the white of the walls and the yellow of the finishes, dates back to 1694-1698. The columns, whose stone stands out in the dominant colour, together with gables and projecting cornices, give the facade a timeless elegance. The main entrance, part of an imposing porch, is surmounted by a window, while two side niches house statues. The interior, in the shape of a Latin cross with a large transept, reflects the style of the facade. The pulpit, created between 1682 and 1683 by the carver Vallo, is an example of rich wood carvings. The choir, in rococo style from 1775, is the work of G. Olivarez da Corbetta and P. Barengo da Magenta. Among the pictorial works, "The Assumption" by Agostino Sant'Agostino from 1677 and the "Martyrdom of a Saint" by Giuseppe Antonio Pianca from 1745 stand out, both dramatic and evocative. Furthermore, there are "Sant'Omobono" by Bartolomeo Vandoni (1603-1676) and other works of considerable artistic value. The Church of Sant'Eufemia also houses funerary monuments, including that of Count Giuseppe Tornielli Brusati, sculpted in 1843 by Antonio Bisetti. Ultimately, this church represents a treasure of history and art that certainly deserves an in-depth visit to admire its works and immerse yourself in its fascinating history.

(Translated by Google) Sant'Eufemia, the most blatantly baroque building in Novara, was built between 1666 and 1698 on a pre-existing thirteenth-century church, which at the time of reconstruction was in an irreversible state of decay. The polychromy and the countless friezes of the concave façade, combined with the frescoes and decorations of the interior, make Sant'Eufemia a true archetype of the seventeenth-century artistic movement par excellence. Not to be missed for lovers of the genre. 049 Novara is a vibrant bar that serves as an ideal spot for friends looking to unwind in a lively atmosphere. While the food may not be the highlight, it’s perfect for enjoying drinks and socializing, especially during their energetic DJ parties at night. The bar offers excellent quality pizza, aperitifs, and salads at reasonable prices, making it a great choice for casual dining rather than formal meals.
Recommended for pizza, aperitif and salad: - quality/price: excellent raw materials and plentiful dishes. Good relationship quality/money - atmosphere: background music, but that allows you to speak - location: excellent, in the city center - service: nothing to mention

This bar is good for friends gathering and if you like alive and noisy places, it is one of the few ones in Novara. Food isn’t something special and you shouldn’t go there if you want to have a dinner, but the place is good for drinking and having fun with friends. Additionally, there are DJ parties at night.

Worst pizza to have in Novara. Service is even worst, have to wait 40 mins just for a waiter to get your order. About ambience and atmosphere seating at the peak time is acceptable as you will see high volume of people here.

This place is great, it was super friendly and the staff was very helpful and spoke English very well. Our Italian is terrible, unfortunately. And the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

The bar is in a good zone of the city and you can have a nice view on the Square. Happy hours at 18 or very nice there is a lot and at an affordable price. The only con is that it's a very crowded place so during covid-19 it isn't the best place where to go

Probably on e of the 2 most frequented and energetic bars of the area, they give out a decent sized tagliere with olives cheese and salami, drinks leave you to desire a bit more

The location is nice but service and especially the bathroom was a nightmare, and it wasn't even so late at night.

Nestled on the outskirts of Novara, Osteria del Laghetto is a delightful haven that combines tranquility with exquisite culinary experiences. With its stunning views of the serene lake, this charming eatery offers a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The menu showcases high-quality dishes crafted from fresh, seasonal ingredients, highlighting local flavors with both simplicity and elegance. One standout dessert is their fruit gelato—hollowed fruits filled with deliciously flavored gelato—a true treat for the senses.

(Translated by Google) Excellent quality products. Very welcoming atmosphere, overlooking the beautiful lake. The specialty of the menu we tried was the fruit gelato, a dessert made of hollowed-out fruits filled with flavored gelato. Prices were decidedly high. Service was meticulously maintained. Parking and accessibility were adequate, including for those with disabilities. Prezzi decisamente alti. Servizio curato nei minimi particolari. Parcheggio accessibilità adeguate anche ai disabili.

(Translated by Google) Excellent, high-quality fish, well-prepared. Air conditioning could be improved. Friendly staff. Well-organized and delicious dishes. The wine list is extensive in every sense. (Original) Ottimo pesce di buona qualità e ben preparato. Aria condizionata da migliorare. Personale gentile. Piatti ben organizzati e buoni. Carta dei vini ricca in tutti i sensi.

(Translated by Google) Very fresh fish!!!! Very well prepared dishes, exceptional. Dinner by the lake, good....... slightly expensive, but considering the fish menu it is justified. (Original) Pesce freschissimo!!!! Piatti molto curati eccezionale.

(Translated by Google) I agree with the previous posts. Excellent seafood cuisine in a quiet setting, a bit hidden for those unfamiliar with Novara. However, I think the prices are a bit high. The open kitchen is good. Good service and an extensive wine list. It's a shame about the high prices... (Original) Condivido i post precedenti.

(Translated by Google) A small corner of tranquility and good taste on the outskirts of Novara. Osteria del Laghetto won us over from the first moment: a relaxed atmosphere, genuine hospitality and a cuisine that knows how to enhance the flavors of the territory with simplicity and refinement. The dishes are carefully prepared, well presented and full of flavor, with quality raw materials and an evident attention to seasonality. Each course is a perfect balance between tradition and creativity, accompanied by a carefully selected wine list. The staff is kind, attentive but never intrusive, capable of making every guest feel at ease. The location, surrounded by greenery and overlooking a small lake, offers an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for a romantic dinner. A place where you gladly return, where every visit is a confirmation. Highly recommended! Consigliatissimo!

(Translated by Google) Prices are perhaps a little higher than average; it's okay to spend a little more to eat fish in Piedmont, but still higher than average. The owner, by profession, only wears a chef's uniform; he's rude, ill-mannered, presumptuous, and arrogant. Not because I'm a customer and always want to be right, but hearing the owner say after taking the order: "This table is strange, with so many people at it, you're only ordering so few dishes? Just a second course?" Unbelievable.... It felt like being at Parolaccia in Rome.... Except that in Rome, being arrogant, rude, presumptuous, and rude is a characteristic of the place. We didn't leave the table only because we were having dinner with family members who were visiting us from out of town and needed to grab something to eat before leaving. We might return, but only to have a laugh with the owner, because as incredible as his behavior is, it feels like being at a cabaret dinner. The only positive note goes to the foreign waiter who has nothing to teach the owner, and to the boy who welcomes you upon arrival who, when faced with the owner's blunders, shows only disappointment and embarrassment.
