Nice supermarket with great variety of products and stores. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My personal experience is very positive about this "shopping street" in Flensburg, as you don't need to visit a lot of other shops to buy your everyday goods and food. I would also love to visit the interior design and accessories store there, if one would be available.
Ginta O — Google review
This is a massive car park for motorhomes all parked along side each other, 99 units when we stayed. Its OK for an overnight, free parking, water €1/100 litres, drive over grey & septic disposal. Its outside the shopping centre so cars take spaces, but they tend to be gone by 6.00pm. Good for an overnight stop when crossing the border.
Gill C — Google review
Good size shopping center. Prices are not very low and the food court is quite small with limited seat places.
J H — Google review
Wonderful Christmas spirit. Singing angels, photography opportunity, a Santa Claus, some stores give out chocolate with the purchase. The Christmas decorations were very cute and parking is free (but be there in good time because it will be stuffed). Even had the opportunity for a glutenfree meal, but gor symptoms still so not for celiacs. Still, it's better than nothing.
Marianne — Google review
Lots of good stores, and Citti Park supermarket has everything you could want, a great selection of fresh meats, cheeses and fish. The shopping mall also has a variety of small restaurants/cafes. We always look forward to our trip there every few weeks. Also plenty of parking outdoors and in.

Kenn M — Google review
Istedløven, or the Isted Lion, is a significant monument in Flensburg, symbolizing the city's complex history. Originally erected to commemorate the Danish victory in the Battle of Isted, the statue has since become a powerful symbol of reconciliation. Located in a peaceful square, it's a poignant reminder of the region's past conflicts and the enduring hope for unity.

Peaceful park with the historical Lion statute and a graveyard next to it. The history of Istedloven (The Lion statute) tells a lot about bitter and then peaceful relationships between Germany and Denmark. Today, the statute represents the current friendship between these two countries.

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's, a renowned and enduring fast-food franchise famous for its delectable burgers and crispy fries, holds the distinction of being the pioneer American brand in Germany. Preceding their counterparts, Burger King and KFC, who established their first German eateries during the 1970s. This establishment prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service complemented by a vibrant and charming ambiance - an amalgamation that enhances patrons' dining experience.
The place is really crowded on Saturdays, but when we ordered, the food came in like less than 10 minutes, comparing to other restaurants, the food was REALLY delicious, its the most recommended McDonald's in Flensburg you should go
Matrix — Google review
It was slightly crowded, maybe because it was Friday night. A friendly staff and good quality.
Ahmed B — Google review
All the foods was good, but all of the machines was out of recipes, 1 machine out of order. Than it is too annoying
Alpha B — Google review
The worst one I've been to, the french fries were cold, the sandwich didn't have the ingredients that I ordered, we were two and we ordered separately, they put spicy sauce I've ordered in my friend's tray and his ketchup in my tray. Basically nothing was correct.
Amir E — Google review
This McD has great service, excellent and nice personnel, and the hot food is pretty much always hot (definitely hotter than lukewarm!), and the cold stuff is never melted. No wonder this place is often busy!
Angutivik T — Google review
Fine burger, fries could be crisper. Quick and pleasant service. Clean and nice looking room. Ok parking. If there are more than one car ordering drive away it’s not possible to get out for other cars driving away.
Frank O — Google review
For a fast food restaurant it was disappointing. I had to wait 15 minutes on a cappuccino with a muffin while it was not very busy. It seemed they had things not under control, because managers where acting like they didn't had any overview. I thought they had the organisation in control in Germany, but it seems they didn't. Next time I go somewhere else.
Redknightattack — Google review
The pumpkin spice latte doesn't taste like pumpkin spice at all, no hint of cinnamon or pumpkin. Really disappointed in that. The atmosphere is nice though. Would still prefer the American mc Donald's breakfast over the German one, although the German is by far more healthy but tastes to the equivalent of cardboard. All in all, it's decent. It will fill you in the go.

Steak house
The Gnomenkeller, believed to have been built in 1583 as a wine cellar, now houses the restaurant Porterhouse. Here, surrounded by wall and mural paintings, you can enjoy succulent steaks from the lava grill. The menu also offers fresh and hearty international cuisine with delightful vegetarian options. Located in Flensburg (Hohlwege), the Porterhouse in Gnomenkeller is a popular destination for gatherings with friends or family. It provides accessibility for individuals with limited mobility.
A very cozy and lovely place with fantastic food! The staff is very professional, friendly and kind! I highly recommend that you book a table here and enjoy their amazing food! You won't regret it! 😀
Tony K — Google review
The beef was wonderful. I ordered "blue" and received blue. They have escargot, which is surprising as we're so far north in Germany. This basement restaurant is a comfortable little place, however... A salad buffet. Don't judge a book by its cover. For a restaurant with a buffet, they have good food. I choked on my drink, and was immediately served a water. That should tell you how the staff are like. It almost feels overstaffed? Accommodation was frighteningly fast. (The menu is a little flashy, even for my taste. Describing the different cuts of beef word-for-word as stated on it's respective Wikipedia page is a bit... Distasteful?)
Callmepease1 — Google review
Porterhouse im Gnomenkeller is a nice restaurant with a vaulted ceiling painted to give the impression that it is made of bricks. The walls and ceilings feature paintings and attractive designs. There's a date, 1586, painted on the wall. According to the waiter, the building dates back to that year. The quality of the food is good, and the service is quite satisfactory. I had Scholle, a type of flatfish, for 27.50 EUR, and a small beer (0.31 L) for 5.00 EUR, bringing the total to 32.50 EUR. At the bottom of the receipt, it states, “Tip is not included.” I paid with a card, and the waiter brought to my attention four large squares on the screen of the card reader where I could choose a tip in addition to 32.50 EUR. If I chose the first square, a 5% tip would be included. If I chose the subsequent squares, the tip would increase by 10%, 15%, etc. At the bottom, in small text, was “No tip.” When I chose “no tip,” the waiter continued to be kind, friendly, and professional. However, I’m quite sure many people would find being asked to consider giving a tip to be highly intimidating. It is not my responsibility to subsidize the restaurant employees' salaries. People working in restaurants in Germany are generally well-paid.
Ridanos P — Google review
This place has a very unique atmosphere because of the arched ceiling with different gnomes painted on it. The food os very delicious and the service is top notch. We'll definitely be back. A piece of advice, if you order and XXL steak be aware that you can ask for 2 x 200 that way the last bit won't be too dry.
Kevin S — Google review
don't order their béarnaise sauce here. they get 2 stars. 1 for the place, it's super cozy and 1 for the steak, it was nicely tender. back to the bearnaise sauce it had no taste of bearnaise at all. when they ask and we are satisfied with the food, we mention the béarnaise sauce is inedible, they respond with a no. another waiter asks about the pond when we finish eating. we say the same and feed the waiter ril to taste. the waiter answers yes yes and we hear no more. their salad was just limited and with wrinkled tomatoes because they had been there too long. a very disappointing experience. the place does not get a recommendation from me.

Restaurant Review: "Porterhouse im Gnomenkeller" – A Hidden Gem for Steak Lovers Tucked away in a charming, labyrinthine cellar in the heart of the old town, "Porterhouse im Gnomenkeller" offers more than just a meal – it delivers a memorable dining experience steeped in character and flavor. The moment you step inside, you're transported into a cozy, almost magical world: vaulted stone ceilings, warm ambient lighting, dark wood furnishings, and whimsical details that live up to the "Gnome Cellar" name. It’s rustic and atmospheric without ever feeling overdone – a unique and inviting setting. The service is friendly, witty, and clearly passionate about what they do. The staff took time to walk us through the different cuts and cooking styles, even presenting the raw meat tableside for those who wanted a closer look – a nice touch that shows their dedication to quality. We went with the signature Porterhouse steak, ordered medium rare – and it was spot on. Beautifully seared on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with a deep, rich flavor that speaks of excellent sourcing and expert grilling. The ribeye was equally impressive: well-marbled, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sides didn’t disappoint either. The truffle fries were crisp and aromatic, and the creamed spinach was silky and well-seasoned – clearly made with care. Their wine list leans towards bold reds, perfectly suited to a hearty steak, and the staff gave thoughtful pairing suggestions. For dessert, we finished with a warm chocolate lava cake and vanilla ice cream – a classic done right, with a gooey center and just the right sweetness. Verdict: "Porterhouse im Gnomenkeller" is a true find. With top-quality meat, excellent service, and an unforgettable setting, it’s a must-visit for steak enthusiasts and anyone looking to enjoy a special night out. Pro tip: Reservations are highly recommended – this hidden gem is no longer a well-kept secret.

This place is great. Take no mistake. The restaurant has great atmosphere, the service is wonderful and the food and vine is great. We had a plate with 3 different kind of meat from grill and a pepper steak, ummmm just great. We waited only 10 minutes. I would have waited much longer with no problem because I had a 0,5 ltr of the house vine a d it tastit great. They have a long list of house vine and it has a great price. The service was excellent. If you have the chance, take it. If I should complain about anything, it would be about finding the place. It was not easy.

Located in Flensburg, Die Weinstube im Krusehof is a popular wine bar that not only offers a selection of exquisite wines but also serves delicious flammkuchen on wooden boards. With its old house charm and low ceilings, this establishment guarantees cozy hours for visitors. Nice and cosy restaurant at the end of a small old fashion alley. The menu mainly offers a selection of flammkuchen, but these are also well made and quite delicious. Good selection among beers, cocktails, and coffee. Very charming atmosphere, with a hint of ancient times. The restaurant do not take reservations, but if there is a short wait, have a beer and relax on the seats outside, while gazing through the deliteful menu options. Great service, highly recommended.

This is a charming restaurant in a small alley. Not recommended for people with walking difficulties as the bathroom is upstairs using a step staircase.
BB — Google review
Let me say this first; GREAT flammkuchen in a GREAT place. We both ordered the ‘original’ one with onions and bacon, and it was tasty and lovely. The old building gave a fairytale-like atmosphere. If only rated on this - it would be five stars and not three. But… The place was busy (which is a good sign), and of course they kept on taking people in. However it took ages for the food to arrive. 45 minutes after we ordered it. A very long wait, especially because the premises were extremely cold to sit in. Heard several people talking about it too, so we were not the only non-penguins in there. A shame for such an, otherwise, lovely place.

Seafood restaurant
Piet Henningsen is a historic tavern by the sea specializing in generous portions of fish and seafood, as well as steak and schnitzel. Situated in Flensburg, it is the oldest seafarers' gaststatte in the area, exuding a maritime-rustic charm that still resonates today. With its prime location by the harbor, this cozy establishment serves up a delectable menu with a nautical twist.
We celebrated our first marriage anniversary here. The goat cheese appetizer and the main dish Miesmuscheln were good enough. My husband had a soup and a fish. They were also very good. I like fish better indeed.
Kabun Y — Google review
Piet im Fischmarkt is a charming seaside restaurant in Flensburg, offering a delightful and **romantic** dining experience with a personal touch. We arrived without a reservation, which turned out to be a mistake—all tables were fully booked. However, luck was on our side, as the staff kindly offered us two spots at the bar, where they usually don’t seat guests. Surprisingly, this ended up being the best seat in the house! We had a perfect view of the entire restaurant, were close to the bar, and could interact with the friendly team. The **atmosphere is incredibly pleasant and romantic**, with large windows offering a stunning view of the water, sailing boats, and Flensburg’s picturesque seaside buildings. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a **breathtaking sunset** while dining—ideal for couples or anyone looking for a serene, scenic meal. The owner, who was working tirelessly behind the bar—handling dishes, serving food, and more—shared the restaurant’s history with us. Originally opened by her parents, she and her husband now run the place after relocating from their previous location across the water. The decor is fresh and modern, yet nostalgic touches from the original restaurant remain on the walls, adding a nice sense of tradition. The food was outstanding. We started with the **fish soup**, which had a delicate, flavorful broth with just the right amount of spice, filled with tender fish and seafood. For the main course, we chose the **fish platter**, featuring three different types of fish served over vegetables and accompanied by a delicious gravy. Each bite was a delight. To finish, we indulged in the **apple strudel**, served warm with vanilla ice cream and cream—a perfect ending to the meal. Portion sizes were generous, presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were exceptional. Prices were reasonable for the quality offered. The service was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Overall, Piet im Fischmarkt is a must-visit in Flensburg—whether for the fantastic food, the romantic seaside ambience, or the dedication of the owners. Just remember to book a table in advance!
Uri M — Google review
OVERVIEW Very good fish platter BUT disappointing service! PLUS + The ‘Flensburg Fish Plate’ was at a top 4* level — a generous portion of mixed fish cuts layered over well-seasoned vegetables, complemented by a side salad with a unique, flavourful dressing. + A main course was enough to fulfil and satisfy. + Staff menu recommendations lived up to expectations. + The ‘harbour view’ was a standout feature that added a sense of calm and elevated the overall dining experience. MINUS - I felt noticeably overlooked throughout the visit — a frequent complaint in reviews. - I waited an hour for a single main course — in a half-full restaurant — and it was only served after I queried the staff. - The menu was exclusively in German and failed to reflect the city’s global nature. - The menu did not state that the ‘Flensburg Fish Plate’ vegetables were sautéed with small pieces of bacon! It also lacked basic dietary labelling. - The fish served was of average quality and lacked the freshness expected from a harbour-side restaurant. - The restaurant could provide QR code self-payment option at each table for quicker, hassle-free service. ORDER Main: * Flensburg Fish Plate

We ordered shrimp and fish soup for a starter which were delicious. For the second course we ordered a steak which was also of a high standard and fish which unfortunately was not fresh (spoiled). The waiters behaved very well (the fish was not added to the bill). However, the chef's behavior was out of place because he tried to convince me that it was a certain type of fish and that it smelled specific, although he wanted to make a new dish for me. To the Chef 😀..... I am also a cook and next time just admit that you made a mistake and served spoiled fish
Paweł F — Google review
The fish dishes look better than they taste. I was disappointed. It looked good, but was a bit bland. The Salzkartoffelen had no salt whatsoever added. I would have liked some kind of sauce, as it all became a bit dry after a few bites. Wine was good. It seems a fancier place than it actually is.

DING DONG we have a 5* Champion. - Make reservation and enjoy the cozy atmosphere in this neighborhood gem. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, definitely the best dining experience in town for us. - I ordered the Labskaus, a local delicacy, and man....was that gross. Not that they made it wrong, I think that dish is just not my taste at all. The fish soup made up for it though. All in all we paid $160 for two including drinks and tip. Not cheap, but we found it to be OK for what they offered.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem for Seafood Lovers – The Flensburg Fish Platter is a Must-Try! If you’re craving fresh, authentic Northern German seafood, the Flensburg Fish Platter at this restaurant is a standout choice. The combination of salmon, pollock, and plaice fillets was cooked to perfection — tender, moist, and bursting with flavor. The mussels were fresh and aromatic, resting beautifully on a colorful julienne of vegetables that added both texture and freshness. What really tied everything together was the Pommery mustard sauce — creamy, tangy, and subtly refined. It elevated the dish without overpowering the natural taste of the fish. I asked to skip the fried potatoes and replace them with extra vegetables, which the kitchen happily accommodated. That simple change made the meal lighter and more aligned with my current fitness goals — and it still felt indulgent. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy, and the plating was elegant and inviting. 🔹 Highly recommended for anyone looking for a balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented seafood dish. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Very interesting local history museum, recounting how Flensburg grew with trade including the Rum & Sugar trades with the Caribbean, and how slavery was in the picture. There is a very entertaining 20 minute movie (also narrated in English), which really is interesting and well presented, as well as the static displays showing, for instance, how the town has grown over the centuries. Note that the entrance fee is €8, but for an extra €2 you can get a ticket which also gets you into the 3 Museumsburgs exhibits (History, Natural History and Art) a bit further downtown, also well worth visiting 👍

Nordertor, also known as Norreport, is a significant historical monument in Flensburg and the last remaining city gate in the area. Built in 1595, this Renaissance marvel served as protection for nearly two centuries. It stands as a testimony to the wealth accumulated by merchants through trade with Mediterranean and Caribbean countries. Crossing this gate feels like stepping into the real north of Flensburg, away from its shopping wonderland, and into a diverse community of Flensburgers from around the world.
Nordertor is one of Flensburg's most iconic landmarks, serving as the old northern gate to the city. Built in 1595, this historic structure is a symbol of Flensburg's medieval past and its importance as a trading hub. There is a little cafe hosted by the Phenomenta called Cafe Lights out (licht los). It's run entirely by blind people. The whole upper parts is dark, so you can't see, just like the blind people. It's an experience and the cake there is amazing. It's really worth going at least once! The down side is that it has a pretty long line sometimes to get into the cafe. So bring time when you go!

While not a traditional restaurant, when visiting Flensburg, you must not miss out on Ben's Fischhütte. Located by the Museumshafen, this establishment serves the most delicious fish sandwiches during our road trip along the Baltic Sea coast. We indulged in a variety of delectable fish sandwiches here and can attest to their freshness and tastiness. The menu also includes local beer and other beverages, and the friendly staff adds to the overall pleasant experience.
We got smoked salmon and Backfisch! Both were amazing! (Smokey salmon was a bit better😉) There was a long line but we enjoyed it very much as the view is so good too! They’re very friendly and they would ring the bell for whoever tips! Highly recommended!
Leila D — Google review
Amazing Backfisch sandwich. The customer service was amazing—the gentlemen took extra care to explain the menu in English with a smile on his face. There was a line (as should be with a popular establishment), but absolutely worth the 5 minute wait while taking in the scenery. Also nice sitting areas on the docks. South African approved! ✅🇿🇦
Mduduzi M — Google review
Ben’s Fischhütte is one of those places that has a lot of hype. It’s literally just a small shack on the harbour in Flensburg, and the line was huge when we were there. The food is good, no doubt, but not without flaws. The bread was toasted so much it was almost cutting up my mouth. I had one with fried fish and remoulade, and while the fish itself was nice, it needed way more salt. The other one I tried was fine, but nothing that really stuck with me. Service was a bit slow. The staff were joking around and having fun with people in line, which is of course nice, but when the queue is that long you just want them to move faster and get the food out. The location is beautiful, right on the harbour, and it’s worth a visit for the experience. But for me it’s more about the novelty than the food itself.

Backfische (fried whitefish?) Whatever it was, it was divine! Bread was fresh, crispy exterior, and soft inside. Large portion of fish, sauce, lettuce and pickle. YUM! Gent working feverishly to serve the masses was efficient, yet very kind. What a find! There are benches along the water to enjoy in the fresh air.

I am not hesitate to give 5 score for the food. It was very tasty and great decoration. Staffs were super nice. They have no english menu but the staff try to explain us each menu in very detail. The ambience, service, food and wine was really, really good! Prices are reasonable. You need 3-4 dishes per person, I would say. The desserts were a bit disappointing compared to the savoury dishes, unfortunately. The flavours weren't as sharp and well-thought out. So, if I was to go again, I would skip the dessert and eat more of the other dishes.

We had a great evening at the Hafenküche. The staff is attentive and super friendly. Regarding the food, it is on the pricier side, especially for Germany I feel like, but I think it is worth it. There are options for everyone (meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan), with very creative flavour association. The starters (tatar & gyozas) were a bit too salty, but the main dishes were stellar, and the dessert was so interesting, with aubergine in it! Thank you :)

Me and my fellowship was staying in the rooms upstairs of the restaurant for the night and decided for a quick visit to eat and leave the next day. With the great atmosphere welcoming us we got our table from the charismatic and nice staff we got our table. Started with the “Schaufflstück” and we were hooked, incredible piece of meat with the then risky choice of carrot cream (it was also incredible). Combine that with the solid choice of their homebrew, chefs kiss. Next up, “Merguez meat ball”. I was not the greatest fan of the cheese but with the melon salad hitting its sweet spot at the back the line of tastes I was sold. It struck me then that I was sad that I maybe never return. End the night with a 8 year old Barbados rum that had already been in 3 caskets and stored in the fourth at the restaurant. I went upstairs and slept well. Incredible workflow, great cooperation from all the staff. Cheers to the staff who had a friend who had a summer place south of Gothenburg. “It’s raw pork … it will not kill you!”

Goldene Lilie is a restaurant located in Flensburg (Hohlwege) that offers Chinese cuisine. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for people with limited mobility. It features a rich and diverse Chinese buffet that leaves almost nothing to be desired. Despite its somewhat hidden location on the first floor, the restaurant's interior is described as old but clean and pleasant. While the buffet may not be extensive, it is deemed sufficient by visitors.
I visited Flensburg and went to the Goldene Lilie restaurant to enjoy the food. There are many delicious dishes you can choose from, the menu is attractive and diverse. The staff cheerful and enthusiastic. Welcome to here and enjoy 😊

The price on their website was not the same with the one at the restaurant . Website said 18 and it was actually 24 euro for the buffet. Was there 18 february and it was super cold inside . We had to wear our jackets when eating. And also the don't serve the complimentary cocktail any more. But despite all that the food is still very good.

Bland food, dirty, overpriced and uprofessionel staff. What happened to this place? It used to be one of my favorite places. Now its an empty shell of its former self. The food was so bland and the place so dirty and cold i just wanted to get out of there rather then enjoying an evening out. And the waiter seriously got annoyed and angry because we wanted to pay with visa/mastercard because their payment processing machine didnt work. How is that our fault? What is this? 2005? So we just payed cash and got out of that terrible place.

My son of 2 years old is an absolute fan of exotic food. Especially Asian! We had an evening buffet with 7 people, staff is super nice, the atmosphere is a adventure and overall it's a very pleasant experience. Photo made my son, close-up fries and noodles!
Lainey A — Google review
For a second the entrance seems like you go the wrong way but keep going, you're right. You are getting welcomed right away, they even find seamless solutions for more than 7 people but you better reserve in that case. In the evenings people mostly take the all you can eat buffet for 13,50 € which offers pretty much everything you need. Also vegetarians are very welcome here, they even change meat for tofu in meals you might like. In my case the tofu was deep fried and fatty, I'd prefer a quick roast in a pan and that would have also decreased my rating by 1 star but in the end I got a free vitamin booster that was really refreshing so that helped me to keep that star ;) I'd recommend this place cause it's cheap and the team works nicely. To the management: Keep the good work up and try to make veggie meals less fatty. Thx

The Italian restaurant Ristorante Italia offers incredible cuisine that is highly enjoyable. They have a diverse menu with both regular options and daily specials, making it difficult to choose what to order due to the overall quality. The location may be slightly distant from the city center, but it is within walking distance at approximately 2km. Great place for all ages, very mind-stimulating and fun. It could be really nice is it was a place in the museum where we could find the right solutions/answers to the questions. We spent a bit more than two hours, but it could be more if we tried every single exhibit. There is a cafe one level up, which sells pastries, coffee and a large variety of soft drinks jouce.
Natalia P — Google review
Absolutely loads of experiments and interactive elements spread out over 4 floors. Some more detailed instructions of what you need to do and explanations of the outcomes would have been very helpful. Many things were self explanatory for adults but .y little kids were often confused about what they needed to do or what the point of that particular experiment was. Nevertheless they had a great time trying everything out for a few hours! Parking was 8,40€ for 4 hours which I found shocking. If possible look for alternative cheaper/free car parks than the designated Phenomenta one.

Cool place to visit and enjoy together with family. Lots of fun and interesting activities to try out. Enjoy your time there and have some fun.
Bjørn E — Google review
Incredible location for very little money.. Great for kids, even our three year old loved it, but even better for older kids to learn physics and concepts. We used 2 hours, but had to hurry through the last couple of exhibits.
Jacob R — Google review
Fun science museum with a lot of hands-on activities. It is clearly designed for school-age children, not much for little ones. When crowded, it is hard to get to do all of the activities.
Stephanie P — Google review
Great stuff, lots of things to do on practical machines that show simple physics. Kids will enjoy this. Only getting a ticket is a pain since you have to calculate at least half an hour for standing in line to the single open ticket counter. we wanted to go sunday, but there was over an hour of waiting time, so we came back on tuesday to stand in line for over half an hour.
SuperMobian — Google review
Brilliant museum! Most of the installations are easy and impressive. The kids need very little guidance and mostly run around absorbing cool impressions. One idea excited me most: just a box with sand which is colored topographically by a beamer 🤩

(Translated by Google) In addition to the beautiful view over Flensburg, there is a variety of flora, which is mainly found around the ponds, on the edge of the forest and on the wild meadow. There is also the water tower from the 1960s with a viewing platform. Herbal spirals of local herbs with fabulously beautiful spices were created around the pond. From lemon balm to savory. (Original) Neben dem schönen Blick über Flensburg befindet sich dort eine artenreiche Flora die sich vor allem um den Teichen befindet, am Waldrand und auf der Wildwiese. Von Melisse bis Bohnenkraut.

(Translated by Google) In general: I am very happy that the system was built in Flensburg at all. Very large and spacious with all the equipment for full body weight training. Rubber floor is okay so far. The disadvantage is clearly the coating on the rods or the lack of it. In wet weather, without chalk on the poles, the grip is the limiting factor. In addition, many bars are too wide, especially for women's and children's hands. Otherwise everything is possible. Ansonsten alles machbar. Ähm und schön grün^^

Beautiful Chatolic church - AND if you are lucky you can hear some beautiful music
Kenn M — Google review
Been there for Christmas Concert of Bach Choir - very good choir and director, splendid soloists, a high level of professionalism and artistry. My seat was a hardbacked chair which was a bit tough for 90 minutes. Seats on the benches were certainly better. The church's inside is fabulous, the atmosphere was gorgeous.
Britta K — Google review
This church is the biggest church in the centre of Flensburg. A letter from the danish bishop Tycho von Aarhus has mentioned the church in the year 1284 for the first time . He stated in this letter that the inhabitants had started to build the church in a gothic style. In the following centuries 3 new "rooms" where added to the exsiting church. It was a pitty that we could not enter the church as a concert preparation were in progress.

Pretty architecture from the outside. It gives a nice vibe to a shopping street with old and well done architecture with beautiful and handcrafted details! Flensburg is full of beautiful architecture (!) and fun details on the houses and buildings!

A beautiful little jewel in the middle of Flensburg, where you can enter normally and relax for a while, and you can presence some wonderful concerts when you're lucky. The way its built, gives you a glimpse on the traditional style churches had been layed out and decorated in the area.

St. Nikolaikirche, also known as the Nikolaikirche, is a classic Gothic hall church that dates back to 1390. The church offers diverse liturgy and music services three days a week, attracting many visitors with its important organ and national choir. The building features impressive architecture with aisles of similar width to the central nave and six pairs of sturdy round brick pillars.
St. Nikolas‘ Church (“St. Nikolai-Kirche”) on Südermarkt market square is a three-aisled stepped hall church with massive round pillars, built in two construction phases between 1390 and 1480. When I visited the church there was some renovating inside and out side

Beautiful old church in the middle of town. Built over various periods with some impressive pieces throughout especially the organs. Worth it to drop in but nothing really in English other than the plaque outside so mostly just nice to take in the atmosphere. Many old nobles etc buried here which is interesting to see from centuries ago. Would be great if you could climb the tower but we couldn't see a way to.

Italian restaurant
San Marco is a welcoming eatery that serves traditional Italian cuisine, including pasta, grilled dishes, and pizza. The restaurant boasts a bright and relaxed ambiance, complete with outdoor seating options. It is renowned for its excellent steaks, pasta dishes, and pizzas. Additionally, it offers the best beer in Germany - Schwarzbier from Hansens Brauerei. The service is always friendly and the food consistently delicious. Value for money is exceptional compared to other establishments.
Excellent steaks🙏pasta and pizza’s and THE BEST beer in Germany: Schwarzbier from Hansens Brauerei :-)👍👍👍 Service is always very freindly and food consistency ( especially the outstanding good steaks) is prima. Compared to DK is value for 💰 seriously good😃 Old favourite dish was the super delecious Fillero el peppe.. New favourite dish is Salatteller Caresina... fantastic mix of fruits and super tender rindfillet stripes😋😋😋

You should proudly share your own country”s cooking culture, instead of faking you come from somewhere else , and making a bad copy of their food … just to make money. The pizza was “baked” in a pan . They have no pizza oven . The serving staff was thought friendly …. And gained 2 stars for the restaurant.

Chinese restaurant
China Imbiss China Bai in Flensburg offers a delightful experience for those looking to indulge in Chinese and Asian cuisine. The restaurant provides a wide array of healthy and vegetarian dishes, inviting guests to savor exotic flavors in a stylish setting. From crispy chicken in Thai curry sauce to delectable fried rice, the menu boasts an impressive variety. Additionally, the option to reserve a private space for events adds to the appeal of this establishment.
A good restaurant to try when you visit Flensburg. I see many people talking about excellent duck, chicken, etc dishes here but fish is also a must-try dish. Deep-fried food is also a strong point of this restaurant. The owner said that he has renovated recently his restaurant with the second/large space next to the original one. You therefore can reserve a private space for your parties/events up to 20-30 persons.

The food is little bit too salty and the rice is not well cook. The price is really cheap and the service is fine.

The food was almost authentic...almost because the Thai curry was very mild in flavor and the vegetables used felt like frozen vegetables rather than freshly cut. Service was really humble and nice. Overall : don't mind it but could be stronger in flavors.

Very nice! Nice food, great price(!) and very nice staff! locals eat here - will come back if I'm in the area 😊 we got peking soup, chop suey duck with sweet-sour sauce and chicken with peanut sauce, and the tropical lemonade with lychee was really nice!

The food was fantastic ! We arrived a little late & there were very few people in the restaurant so the atmosphere was a little subdued. My wife ordered chicken fried rice with oyster sauce, I ordered crispy chicken in Thai curry sauce. We were very satisfied with our meals. Delicious crispy vegetables & a surprisingly tasty fried rice. The Thai curry I asked for extra spicy & although it wasn't mind blowing spicy it was very tasty. Service was excellent & the food came very quickly. Definately eat here again. Price for 2 diners & 2 beers very reasonable at 36 euros 😀😋

Very nice place to eat, especially during the summer months because of the view. The menu is quite extensive, offering many choices in meat, as well as fish. Regarding the quality, it was also very good and tasty. Recommended for a night out with company!

We came 28.07, early, 4pm, before kitchen is open but encouraged by nice online reviews, ready to wait a bit. Left dissapointed in a blink, felt very unwelcome, met impatient service; girl came for drinks order before she gave us menu. She should find job far from people or change attitude as she gets bad reviews to her chef. High season service should be more welcome...
