Hummerbuden is a remarkable landmark on the island, full of atmosphere and heritage. It's an array of huts with various shops, located between the port and the "Lower Town." Despite some construction works nearby, it's a fun spot to grab some food before embarking on a hike around the island. The row of shops offers a variety of items such as candy, hot food, and clothing, making it a nice place to explore.
Remarkable landmark on the island! You can’t miss it out. We only were disappointed a bit about construction works on the opposite side. (June 2020).

Ferry service
Landungsbrücke Helgoland is a popular destination reached by a 2.5-hour ship ride from Bremerhaven. Despite some weather challenges, visitors find the island's history intriguing and enjoy diverse attractions such as the short and varied path to Long Anna, duty-free shopping, and observing local life. The departure point for Witte Kliff to the dune is also located here, offering facilities like a first aid station and benches for relaxation.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, you can now clearly see that the jetty is getting old. Rusted railings, weeds between the joints on the floor, benches cordoned off with tape. Yes, I know that the weather on an offshore island leaves more noticeable marks than on the mainland. Nevertheless, the decline that has now been reached here is a level that neither corresponds to the island's own standards nor to the general price level there.

We only had a good three hour stay and looked around the island, of course you can't expire everything, we also shopped duty-free while we were here 😉 (Original) Wir hatten das "Glück" und wurden nicht ausgebootet ,wir konnten direkt in Büsum an Bord gehen und auf Helgoland ebenfalls . (Translated by Google) In normal weather conditions, here is the departure point for the Witte Kliff to the dune. There is also a “first aid station” and toilets here. When the weather is good, you can rest on the benches and watch what goes on on water, on land and in the air. When the wind blows really hard, the waves sometimes hit the quay wall and you get an involuntary shower. The buildings themselves are already very old and are in urgent need of renovation.

History Museums
Museum Helgoland, situated on the island of Helgoland in Germany, was established in 1927 by the Helgoland Museum Association to preserve the island's rich history and culture. The museum offers a comprehensive overview of Helgoland's cultural and historical heritage spanning thousands of years. Visitors can explore the museum courtyard featuring colorful buildings, a lighthouse, and an anchor. The exhibits include explanations about the formation of the island's distinctive diagonal sediments and captivating black-and-white photos.
A very nice little museum that explains the history of Heligoland. I enjoyed the geological exhibits which describes the amazing process how the island was formed.

Historical landmark
The bomb crater, located near Lange Anna, serves as a significant historical landmark that is recommended for history enthusiasts. Initially mistaken for an unusual football pitch, its sheer size vividly portrays the destructive power of the colossal bomb that caused it. The site offers breathtaking views and serene natural surroundings on the island of Helgoland. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a clean and peaceful environment alongside friendly locals. This destination is conveniently accessible from duty-free shops and restaurants nearby.
Stunning views, beautiful nature, polite and friendly people. Island is very clean and calm. I highly recommend it!

The bomb crater is worth a stop on the way to Lange Anna. I didn't know it was a crater at the time, I thought it was the world's strangest football pitch. It's not a long walk from all the duty free shops and restaurants of Helgoland.

Ferry service
The Ferry Helgoland-Dune is a short 5-minute ride that provides the only means of transportation between the islands. It's an affordable option and offers the opportunity to see seals on Dune island. Visitors are advised to respect the natural habitat of gray and harbor seals by keeping a safe distance of at least 30 meters. The ferry service is well-regarded, although boarding may take some time due to the older average age of passengers.
A place to rest. Have a walk around the dunes and see for yourself. But be careful and respect the gray seals and harbor seals by keeping your distance.
Ulrich P — Google review
Bit crowded ,kind of bus on water, but does the job and its cheap. Nothing impresive or bad about it , but the staff could remain from touching people who obviously dont need help when boarding and onboarding the boat.
Jakub Z — Google review
Please do not approach seals more than 30m!! Please do not scare these animals in their natural environment! You can find basic rules on island below.
Julia A — Google review
The ferry itself lasts about 5 minutes and doesn't cost too much. It's really the only way to get between islands and you will want to see the dunes so that you can see the seals!

The prices at the snack bar 2 Blaue Buden on Helgoland may be relatively high, as is typically the case in that area. Nevertheless, the quality of their offerings is exceptional. This ensures that customers get good value for their money. One particularly popular choice is the fried fish, which is freshly prepared and served piping hot in a crispy bun. A dollop of remoulade accompanies this delectable treat.
Stopped here for a couple of Beck’s beers and Fish and Chips on our flying visit to beautiful Heligoland. Great grub and beer and having no indigestion with the food was perfect! Superbly cooked fish with a little batter and great chips. 👍 Managed to eat the lot without having any pinched from those b****y seagulls…

(Translated by Google) Great fish stall. Rolls are served immediately, and everything fried takes about 10 minutes. The fish and chips are very fresh and delicious. Food is served at a separate food counter after a buzzer alert. If you don't have a free hand to defend your food from predatory seagulls, you can borrow a blue seagull-defending umbrella. Lobe and fried rolls are a specialty. Prices are on the higher end for a snack bar, but the food is very good. (Original) Super Fischbude. Restaurant
Rickmers Galerie Restaurant is a gourmet dining destination on Heligoland that offers a unique culinary experience. The restaurant serves 'dishes with history' and provides an excursion into the culinary heritage of Heligoland, complemented by international cuisine. The ambiance is described as calm and pleasant, providing an ideal setting to savor the exquisite meals offered. With attentive and courteous service, visitors can enjoy excellent food while being well taken care of by the friendly staff.
Food is great. One dish tasted a bit like sand but that could be because it was seafood. Very helpful staff. I don’t speak German and they did their best with English. Restaurant isn’t expensive compared to the food and the view is on the sea. Went there twice. Lots of dishes to choice from.

We had our first dinner on Helgoland in this rather posh restaurant where we were accepted despite our bum-like dress code and my unshaven face. The rain had stopped intermittently when we were walking over from our hotel and we were glad to be installed in British racing green easy-chairs before being shown to our table surrounded by a dense wall coverage of paintings. We were served by a very pleasant group of waiters and waitresses from different foreign countries like Ethiopia and Bulgaria who manage to survive on this island in the middle of winter. Food was fine and the wines by the glass of good quality.

Miro N — Google review
The table had a beautiful view, and the food was excellent. But the waiter was rude and made us feel very unwelcome. Without showing us a menu he asked what we wanted to drink, and then laughed at us when we couldn't answer. They started clearing our table, including glasses, while we were still eating, despite multiple other tables still being only on their main course, and the restaurant only being half full. Two hours before their listed closing time. We ordered wine, and he filled our glasses once and then left the rest of the bottle in a cooler in the corner. We tried to get in contact with him while he was at the table beside us, but he ignored us, so I got up and refilled our wine. All in all, he made us feel unwelcome and awkward, despite charging over €50 per person. Next time, I'll go somewhere else, despite the food being quite tasty.

(Translated by Google) A wonderful restaurant on the shore. Beautiful interior richly decorated with paintings. Panoramic windows allow you to enjoy the view of the port, the sea and the neighboring island with seals. The cuisine is also high class. Everything is very tasty, well-cooked and beautifully decorated. Here I tried blue potatoes for the first time. A real restaurant is always distinguished by details. Real (not electronic) candles burned on the tables, cloth, white napkins, sharp knives that were easy to cut meat with, real antique, antique items at the entrance, ... And even the waiter spoke Russian, was very friendly and courteous. But not only the interior ... I don’t know about you, but I go to a restaurant to have a delicious meal. And we liked this place on the island the most. We especially liked the crab soup. The meat was also cooked perfectly. The restaurant also has several types of non-alcoholic beer. In general, check out the photos ...

At 7:20 p.m., we considered checking the menu again for dessert. Without asking or hinting, the waitress, who had been extremely friendly from the start, came and brought the bill. We were a bit speechless and felt quite overwhelmed. So we couldn't have even finished an appetizer, and we didn't have a chance to try dessert. We knew that the tables were double-booked. But we didn't know that you only have 1.5 hours at the table, but the food wouldn't arrive for almost an hour.

(Translated by Google) What a sweet amber! Such a wonderful, lovingly run restaurant, where every dish tastes absolutely delicious! The portions are generous and extremely well-seasoned. We had the lobster soup as a starter, an absolute must!!! It was so delicious I would come back for that alone. For the main course, we had the crab skewers in an excellent onion, garlic, and rosemary broth. An absolute dream! We'd happily go back to Seehund anytime! Thank you so much! Rounded off with an eggnog, the walk home is even better!

Day 2

Northeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Lummenfelsen der Insel Helgoland, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Ausgang "Luftschutzbunker". All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Wildlife refuge
Lummenfelsen der Insel Helgoland, also known as the bird rock, is home to over 5000 pairs of birds annually, making it the world's smallest nature reserve. Visitors can observe a variety of bird species such as gannets, razorbills, guillemots, and more. It's a fantastic opportunity for birdwatching and photography.
Best place on the Island and the online must go. Birds Are nesting 50 cm from the path. Spectacular Virus.

Only 3 stars as this is not for everyone and it is a three hour ferry trip each way. The ferry is comfortable and serves reasonable food. We had about 4 hours on the island all on foot of course as the only vehicles are emergency vehicles. We spent most of our time walking around the island. Not all of it but certainly the most scenic and interesting. The coloured sedimentary layers of the cliff face with a sizeable Gannet colony are worth the climb to the top where the bomb craters can also be seen from when the RAF tried to sink the island. There is a tourist information office and a few shops including coffee shops. If this is your sort of thing you’ll really enjoy it. I would say only give up a whole day and Make the effort if it is your sort of thing. If I remember correctly the ferry leaves around 09:00 with the return trip leaving at 17:00 (check timetable) there is parking at the port. I have no idea what the parking charges are as we were on a motorcycle and we were directed to a suitable spot by a friendly chap and not charged. It is our sort of thing so we really enjoyed the whole day. Accommodation is available on the island for anyone wanting more than a day trip. Would we go again? No, only because we’ve been there. For us it was a one off and box ticked.

Very tasty looking birds. Funny things they do all day. Could spend there much time really they're collecting fishnets for nisting. Beautiful but dangerous. Sometimes the lines are stuck on the feet or feathers of the birds.

Wonderful wildlife/birds. This viewpoint allows you to watch the newborns as well as the birds upclose. Unfortunately, due to the high number of birds; the odor is terrible.

Lange Anna (Nathurn Stak) is a striking red stone colossus that protrudes from the waters on the north side of Helgoland. It's considered a natural spectacle and a landmark of the island, drawing visitors to witness its impressive rock formations amidst the rough North Sea surf. The nearby breeding grounds for northern gannets and guillemots add to the experience, making it a successful trip for nature enthusiasts.

Heligoland Lighthouse

4.7

Federal government office
Heligoland, also known as Helgoland, is a remote and peaceful island that can be reached quickly by ferry. Visitors should plan to spend more than a few hours there to fully explore everything it has to offer. The island's beautiful lighthouse is a must-see attraction, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. Despite the potential for seasickness on the journey there, many are eager to return for another visit.
This has the strongest light of any lighthouse in the German part of the North Sea and can be observed from as far as 28 nautical miles when visibility is good. It was converted from an air defense tower constructed during WWII and functions as a lighthouse from 1952, the year the Germans were allowed to return to their destroyed island. You can observe its light from wherever you are on the island.

(Translated by Google) Heligoland is great! Of course you have to really like such isolation 😇 You can get there quickly by ferry. However, the time until departure was short. You have to hurry if you want to explore everything. We only had 3.5 hours on Helgoland. You should treat yourself to a weekend to really see everything! Definitely a lasting impression. Not everyone there always seemed friendly, but overall the welcome was warm. I would like to visit again for a weekend (which is enough for me personally, as I think it's too quiet for me) to take a look at the rest that I didn't get a chance to see! Until then… Thanks for the hospitality (Original) Helgoland ist toll!

In order to take a closer look at everything, you should spend the night on the island. The time between docking and departure of the ferry is quite short. Evangelical church
A sailors' church like St. Nicolai Helgoland - Ev.-Luth. Kirchengemeinde Helgoland is a rare find. The church is adorned with numerous ships, while being surrounded by the main island graveyard. Its humble demeanor creates a sense of groundedness, offering visitors a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling crowd of day tourists.
This protestant church is one of two to serve the some 1500 inhabitants of Helgoland. It was inaugurated in 1959, seven years after the German population was allowed to return to their island, completely destroyed by the British bombardments on April 18 and 19 1945 and then on the same days two years later by a staged explosion aimed at destroying all the bunkers by the use of old ammunition. The pyramid shaped tower can be seen from almost the entire island and is crowned by a bank fishing boat showing the direction of the wind and lit up during the night by the flash from the light house every five seconds. Its a nice place to contemplate the evil parts of our history...

There are ship models hanging everywhere, the furnishings are without pomp and circumstance, very down-to-earth and honest. The cemetery around the church is very well maintained and forms a haven of peace in the town. The striking "weathercock" (it's a sailing ship) can actually be seen from everywhere, as it towers over everything on the high tower and is therefore an integral part of the "Heligoland skyline". (Translated by Google) St. Nicolai Church on Heligoland is an Evangelical Lutheran church with a moving history. After the original church was destroyed in a bombing raid in 1945, the new building was built on the same site until 1959. The church is dedicated to St. Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors, which is particularly fitting given its island location. Inside, the beautiful votive ships, donated by captains as thanks for rescues at sea, as well as the handcrafted colored concrete glass windows, are striking. The freestanding tower, with the island's largest bell, is a prominent feature of Heligoland's uplands. The church is not only an important sacred building but also hosts a variety of cultural events and is well worth a visit during a Heligoland excursion. Those interested in history, maritime customs, and North German church architecture will find much to see here. At the same time, St. Nicolai Church is a place of peace and contemplation in the heart of the lively island of Heligoland.

The church, both from the outside and inside, looks very beautiful; at the bottom of the tower there is an exhibition with a monument, but tourists are not allowed to go up. The inside of the church is very beautiful, there are two models of this church, one made of wood, the other of iron, they also sell CDs with organ music, post cards, various information about the church and even beads. There are also free brochures with information. The church is very beautiful, there is a second floor with an organ, but you can’t go up there, there is a very beautiful altar that you can approach, there are many places where you can sit, there are several side seats next to the altar, there are few tourists in the church, which is why it is quiet and peaceful, Models of ships are suspended near the ceiling, also one of the models stands near the wall behind glass, not far from the altar near the corner there is a historical book. The cemetery is very clean and looks perfect in combination with the church; you can only get to the cemetery (there is also an entrance to the church) through the entrance, since the cemetery is surrounded by a small fence. I really liked this church, it can be seen from almost all parts of the city, this church is one of the main attractions here.

Historical landmark
The "Wunder von Helgoland" Maulbeerbaum has a remarkable history dating back to 1810 when it was mentioned by Kleist. Despite being heavily damaged in bombings during the 1940s and 1950s, the tree displayed incredible resilience as new shoots emerged from its remains, inspiring the locals and earning it the title of the miracle of Helgoland. This story serves as a powerful reminder of nature's strength and ability to endure despite human destruction.

Our guide Mr. Siemens made the hour and a half go by very quickly with a lot of humor and, above all, a lot of specialist knowledge about the history of the island and of course especially the complex itself. In the complex itself there are lots of pictures and objects from the time, which give a great impression of how oppressive it must have been down there during the attacks. I can only recommend everyone to take this tour. You definitely don't experience something like that every day! (Translated by Google) Very interesting tour by an employee of the local museum. It was nice that he was also a real Heligolander and therefore organized the tour authentically. It was depressing to learn that the civil defense bunker not only saved many people's lives but was also inaccessible to many people due to the limited space. It is also naturally oppressive and frightening what wars cause and what people do to themselves as a result. A large rolling steel ball simulated and conveyed what an oppressive feeling it must have been to just suspect and feel what was happening “upstairs”.

With temperatures consistently at 13 degrees Celsius in both summer and winter, you should dress appropriately, and sensible footwear is also a plus. Those suffering from claustrophobia needn't worry; there's plenty of space, and despite the frightening subject matter, the story isn't jarring. The overall experience at Restaurant Atlantis Inh. Katrin Hofmann-Robinson was exceptional. The meals were fresh, delicious, and of the highest quality. The waitstaff provided outstanding service that was both knowledgeable and friendly, creating a professional atmosphere. Special requests for dishes were easily accommodated without any issues. This stunning establishment stood out as one of the best places to dine in Helgoland due to its excellent food and attentive staff.
We had our Christmas eve dinner in this sympathetic eatery in the upper town of Helgoland. Portions are copious and service is perfect including some good humour. There are a few vegetarian options and the wine served by the glass is of good quality. Unfortunately they were completely booked for our next couple of days on the island so we have to find another place for our next meals. Not an easy task since most restaurants are closed at this time of the year. Highly recommended!

I truly wish there were an option to give zero stars, alas, the system is far too generous. I have dined in many places, across many countries, and I cannot recall ever being treated with such a remarkable combination of unprofessionalism and aggression. It was, without exaggeration, possibly the worst service experience of my life. From the moment we arrived, the waiter was openly hostile—not just to us, but seemingly to every guest within his unfortunate reach. I’ll refrain from drawing conclusions and simply recount the facts, as they are more than sufficient to discourage anyone from eating here. We were told that choosing to sit outside would result in slower service. When we then attempted to order the local specialty—crab, which is prominently featured on the menu—we were informed that it needed to be ordered in advance. No exceptions. Apparently, having it listed on the menu without any mention of this requirement is part of the charm. Before we could finish processing that, we were informed we had five minutes to order or we would not be served at all. The kitchen, we were told, needed time to "prepare for the next shift." Again, this was at 18:00—hardly what one would consider a late or unreasonable dining hour. With no other option, we hastily ordered uninspiring substitutes. At this point, we were already irritated by the inflexible policies and the unnecessarily rude communication. And then came the final touch. A sixth person arrived at pur table—mere minutes after this self-imposed deadline—and the waiter flatly refused to serve him anything. One of us then asked whether the waiter understood the concept of “flexibility.” The response was truly astonishing: “If you want to offend me, finish your food and leave.” And that, frankly, said everything. I’ve already spent more time writing this review than the experience deserves, but I hope it spares someone else time, money, and patience. Honestly, going hungry would have been a more pleasant alternative to being "served" by this establishment.

The staff is friendly and well-prepared, ensuring a positive dining experience. One customer noted that 'sehr pikant' doesn't mean spicy but rather flavorful. The restaurant offers lunch specials that attract repeat customers. The staff speaks excellent German and has welcoming personalities.

Food was very good! I learned that “sehr pikant” doesn’t actually mean hot, as in spicy. We came back the next day for the lunch specials. Staff have smiles and good personalities. They even think I speak tolles deutsch! Smallish place with very interesting lighting. On the list to come back to.

Rooms were very clean and nice, with a balcony facing the harbor and dune. The balcony had two chairs with a table and a lounger. Upon request, a parasol was even provided. Unfortunately the room didn't have a safe and the clothes rack was very small. The breakfast buffet was brilliant, rich. Even pancakes and fried eggs were available. Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Viewingplatform Johnnys Hill. Not quite as popular as Düne, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Düne

(271)
Island
Düne is a small island located near Helgoland, Germany, offering pristine and tranquil beaches for sunbathers, seal watchers, and fossil collectors. It is accessible by a ferry from Helgoland. The island was once connected to Helgoland until a storm in 1720 caused their separation. Düne is known for its opportunities to observe seals in their natural habitat, making it a popular spot for photographers and nature enthusiasts.

Heligoland Düne Lighthouse

Historical landmark
I believe this small lighthouse on the Dune is one of the most popular subjects for photography. It withstands wind and bad weather, surrounded by a vast beach and frequented by planes from the nearby airport. At its base, seals and sea lions frolic while seagulls perch for a rest. It is particularly stunning against a blue sky.
Amazing place

Wind and weather, there is a lot of beach around him, the dunes and all the planes from the airport fly past him. The seals and harbor seals cavort at his feet and the seagulls settle on him for a rest. Of course it looks most beautiful when the sky is blue. The Aussichtsplattform Südstrand Düne is a viewing platform located on the southern beach dune. Offering stunning panoramic views, this observation deck provides visitors with an excellent vantage point to admire the surrounding scenery. Situated amidst nature's beauty, this elevated structure allows for a breathtaking outlook over the area. The platform serves as a prime spot to appreciate the picturesque landscape that stretches out in all directions, showcasing the natural wonders of this coastal region.
What a great place to see newborn seals with their moms and dads. Of course, you need to come at the end of the year when they are born all over this island. Just be careful not to disturb them.
Sebastian R — Google review
(Translated by Google) From here you can marvel at Germany's largest predators, the gray seals. Since they are predators, you can only approach them at a distance of at least 30 meters. Seals belong to the dog seal family and are the smaller of the two seal species found in the North Sea. Seals are more widespread than gray seals and are therefore more common on the German coast. You should take plenty of time to observe the animals swimming or relaxing on the beach. Seeing the animals so close in the wild is something special and worth a visit. The whelping season is from November to January, which is why a visit to Heligoland in winter is worth it if you want to see babies. However, the beaches were closed for the first time at the turn of the year 2019/2020.

The food was okay — nothing special and a bit too salty. Unfortunately, the entire experience was ruined by one staff member whose attitude was shockingly bad. All three of us were full and our vegetarian had her pasta wrapped up. Period. I had the classic Labskaus and was completely satisfied. Period. Both in terms of taste and quantity. The schnitzel with fries was also delicious and filled many of those present. Point: Griffin returned to fries dishes. The outside and inside area was rocking. Vodafone 2 waiters were both friendly and attentive. Point: The place was busy at lunchtime. Point: You do need to have a bit of patience, but I think that's part of the coast, just like the understanding of a small team. Point: We were very satisfied and can only recommend the place. The small dune also offers a magical environment where birdwatchers will be just as satisfied. Again, friends of the sea. Point: The usual tourist is armed with a camera that stands out thanks to a mutant lens. Point: A gang of digital predators and collectors on the hunt for prey. Today there's enough.

The latest review featuring a person's name and picture is not an official account. I am highly satisfied with Dune Sud, which provides a pleasant and peaceful environment for dining and having drinks. The staff members are always polite and helpful, ensuring that the waiting time for orders is minimal. I stayed at the restaurant for two nights, where the rooms were small but sufficient.
The last recension with my name and photo, is not my account. I am very satisfied with Düne Süd, its a very nice and calm place to eat and to drink something. The waiters are always kind and helpfull, and you dont need to wait so long for the order. Very good 👌

We stayed 2 nights. Room small but adequate. Did not eat at the restaurant as we waited 10 minutes but the waitress never came.

Coffee choice gets a bit lost in translation but both times the food was good and the service efficient and relaxed.

Good simple food. Has a bigger menu card then what you think when you read the signs on the street.

Fast food restaurant
Kochlöffel is a charming little snack bar conveniently located next to the elevator in Heligoland. With its friendly staff and modern touchscreens for ordering, it offers a quick and enjoyable dining experience. The food is prepared swiftly and boasts delightful flavors, making it a go-to spot on the island. However, it's worth noting that the restrooms could use some improvement, as they don't quite match the overall pleasant atmosphere of this unique eatery.
Nice restaurant
Selena — Google review
Since it’s the only fast food restaurant on the island, so the quality is acceptable. (Anyway you don’t have other choices)

I wanted to grab a quick fries to go. if I ignore fact that the gentleman serving me was barely polite enough not to be called rude , it took close to 15 minutes waiting and when I finally got mine fries with cheese sauce, they were slightly warm at best. By the time I walked up the stairs next to the store they were completely cold.. Portion was okay-ish for the money and fact its an island.. Overall not a nice experience, I recomend to go anywhere else ,plenty of options around.

So so food. Asked for sweet potato fries and paid extra and got normal.

Very dry chicken burger. All the food over cooked and quite expensive.

(Translated by Google) Nice little snack bar right next to the elevator in Heligoland. Friendly staff, and you can order using touchscreens. Our food was prepared quickly and was very tasty. Unfortunately, the condition of the restrooms wasn't quite as good; the smell, in particular, was more reminiscent of a train station restroom.

Restaurant
Dünenrestaurant on the island of Helgoland is a magnificent establishment that stands out from the rest. Visitors are pleasantly surprised by the absence of exorbitant prices, as they can enjoy delicious meals and drinks without breaking the bank. The friendly staff ensure prompt service, allowing guests to savor their food while admiring breathtaking views.
A very nice space. Everybody told that we need to reserve or we would starve on Helgoland. Not here. Just went there, sat down, ate, drank. Phantastic food, prices still reasonable if you consider the island prices. Definitely one of the rare places without rip off on that island.

The best burger in Helgoland is on Düne! Amazing service, food, and beach views. Highly recommend!
Matthew B — Google review
The waiters were extremely nice and we were having a nice time until I met the chef from Croatia. He was extremely rude about his colleagues and to myself when he found out where I was from! Shame on him and his bigotry.
Lisa J — Google review
Friendly staff, perhaps not enough for the number of customers. A great new change is that they offer organic sausages and other options. This should be more visible to customers.
N F — Google review
Good food and friendly staff. It is a shame that they have a wide variety of good alcoholic drinks that are great base for cocktails. Not many coctail options in the menu though.
