Great shopping store and so huge. There are a lot of clothes and it is so cheap. Clothes for men, women, children, babies... Everyone can come here for shopping. In this period keep in mind that you will have to wait in a long line and sometimes it will take you hours because it has to follow with Corona rules. But when you are inside you will enjoy shopping and the mask is not obligatory to wear.

There is 15 tills. Only 2 of them occupied by cashiers. 50+ people in the queue. Other workers, including supervisor, walking by but no one is willing to help. Poor management. Queuing for 25 min to buy 1 item.

I understand that the quality of the goods is poor because the prices are cheaper than other stores, but what I don't understand is why they insist on importing the ugliest colors of clothes? Have the beautiful colors become more expensive than the ugly ones?!

Fitting rooms do not work, very often on different days of the week. This is not convenient when buying clothes when there is no way to try them on

If you like to wear the ugliest colors, especially men's pants, then you only have to go to this store!

Terrible! If you're Australianyou will be interrogated. Drivers license not enough, as they've never seen one of those. Passport not enough as it doesn'thave the right numbers on it. Addresses needed for entrance. Then the crazy bat throws a hissy fit if you get upset over the interrogation. Chef!!!??? Avoid!

Absolutely ridiculous dresscodes… I mean I get you’re not supposed to come in looking like you’re going to the beach but being asked to remove your hat AT THE DOOR seems a little much… being seen by the eye in the sky WHILST PLAYING I get but just walking around I do not see an issue wearing a hat… sad, used to really like coming here… I guess it really is the small things that can mess up a good time Edit: now that I’ve been inside I’ve seen several people in violation of their precious dress code (torn/worn out trousers, shorts, see-through shirts, flip flops etc.)

It feels like the selection is different from other Zaras in the Netherlands. Very limited (good) choices and unclear layout. Strongly prefer other Zara stores. Staff is not very friendly and seems uninterested.

Never interest in actual selling the products. In the changing room workers are always busy with the clothes and newer willing to bring you the different size or check availability in the warehouse. On the cash register always one person standing on the top hours of attendance. Waiting time minimum 25 minutes to buy…

It is the second time that I have to pick up a package, and of course! I had to wait at a small pick-up point that they have (poorly signposted) and apart from where the workers don't see you... if you want to have their attention you have to call them... so why is this point created? second to buy some jeans, I was waiting in a long, long line, when I arrived at the payment after so much waiting I was told that the payment cannot be made by card that I must do it at the self-checkout... then why don't they inform or write it a sign indicating that it is cash only and they don't waste your time that way... I love Zara but I don't like the organization of that particular store at all. They would have to make some changes where customers can be better served.

To my opinion the quality is too bad the price is too high. Quiet rarely possible find nice clothes with good quality and materials.

I tried on a trousers and found a hole was in the zipper area. I brought it to the cashier and ask if they have another one so I can buy it. The sales said yes, there is another one but she asked me to look for it. I said it was not on the display because I’ve looked. Then she asked me to ask around in the fitting room. I was like… really!? Are you not even try to locate where is your stock so I can finish the purchase?? Before the conversation, the same staff was also just asking am I going to pay card or cash. The customer who wanted to pay card was forced to use the self check-out machine in the other side. Overall the staff was just rude and not even want to help a customer/ push customer away. It was on a Friday morning time that the shop was not even busy. I think this is the worse experience I had in a Zara shop. Real bad.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE employees (at least 2) refused to help while at least 15 customers in line. 1 cashier working. visit date 17/1/2021 around 12.20. these 2 spent at least 10 mins talking while i asked for help. gigles on personal talks. end up with third person come and help out after complain and bad mood on customer. hope manager can read this reveiw and start doing something ** EDIT: not only me who expereince this TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE**

The employee was rolling her eyes at me when I asked if they still have another non-broken stock with my size. The winter jacket I hold was with broken zipper, no discount at all even though a broken item shouldn’t be in the store anymore.

Nice place, good view of the stage from my spot higher up. Only thing: wasn't clear if there would be a break or not. So I waited a long time while actually needing to go to the toilet .. and at a certain point I just ran out of the theater to the toilets. Then I encountered my next problem: toilet signs are placed in super stupid places, so couldn't find them .. also garbage cans, come on people! But in the end, nice clean and good organized place. Would go again, now that I know where the toilets and garbage cans are.

It's really good. The ice-cream stays in the cone (so it's properly frozen, others locally can be half melted already.) They have many varieties, there's always something exciting to choose, or the usual.

Nice ice cream and nice cone as well. Huge variety of flavors available and busy but also well staffed. Stroopwaffel seemed like the appropriate local choice and it was good, not overly sweet even.

Tried the ice cream cones and the coups as well. Very tasty and so many options to choose from. I highly recommend their milkshakes and iced coffee. Staff is super helpful too. Great location for a Van Der Poel (right next to the station). I grab an ice cream every time I have a train to catch.

Good variety of icecreams and I love the abundance in the pieces of fruit/brownie etc depending on the flavour.

This time the food was good and service didn’t spoil the drinks on us this time. The pizza tasted very good and it’s enough for two. The panna cotta is very good but few. The chairs are horrible to sit on and most if not all are unstable and moving. The atmosphere is nice with big murals and an open kitchen. I would advise to go next door for ice cream because theirs is not good.

If you enjoy overpriced disappointment, this is your place. The waiter clearly missed her calling as a grumpy mime, and the service took so long I considered learning Italian to pass the time. The mushrooms on my pizza were sliced so thin they might’ve been hallucinations, and charging full-liter prices for tiny 200ml bottles should be a crime. Definitely not Happy Italy—more like Hangry Italy.

Entering Happy Italy, I immediately felt at ease in the cozy atmosphere. The attentive staff made the dining experience pleasant, offering friendly service and helpful recommendations. The food was average at best, but the portion sizes are great for the price! I wouldn't recommend the gelato though, you could get better ones at the supermarket. Overall, it's a charming spot for a relaxed meal with friends or a casual date night.

Good food, but the service needs improvement We’ve been to Happy Italy several times, and unfortunately, good service has been rare. The staff is often slow and seems unmotivated or unfriendly. On the bright side, the food is good. The pizzas are tasty and well-made, and the salads are fresh and enjoyable. There’s a kids’ play area, which is helpful for families, but the playground is quite basic. If you sit near it, the noise can be overwhelming, making it hard to enjoy a relaxed meal.

I will give just 3 stars for a few reasons: - the food was tasty and it came fast, it doesn’t deserve 5 stars because the quality of the salami was not the best I met, and also not so fresh. - the lemonade just full of ice and not so much lemons squeezed, only the taste was present. - the personnel was screaming to each other and that made a not so nice atmosphere to stay and enjoy a pizza. - the waitress not so implicated and not so friendly. After all, I apreciated the location, big place and enough tables if you plan to go many people. The waiting time is very short and they have many waitresses and pizza guys also

Nice place to get a pizza in a very convenient location nearby the station and centrum. Food is good, but a little bit pricey in my opinion (though for the Netherlands, it is quite acceptable), the taste is good but definitely not the greatest pizza, but still deserves a high praise. I prefer to get a pizza and eat at home since the restaurant is quite noisy and there are quite a lot of people usually, so keep it in mind. Overall, a nice place to get some food, but a little bit pricey.

Pizza dough is ok however the ingredients are definitely not fresh. Tomato sauce tastes like the one from frozen pizza you can buy in a supermarket. Portion sizes are big however it's obvious that they result in lower ingredients quality

Great food, service, and ambiance. The staff was friendly and had great suggestions, especially Sky. He recommended a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand that did not disappoint. It was delicious!

Just to share an unpleasnt experience first. After we were seated, the waitress came immediately to take the drink order. Then we were left unattended without menu. I had eye contact with at least two different waiters, still nobody brought us menu. After waiting for at least half an hour, we had to ask a waitress for menu. At that point I was upset enough to stand up and leave. On the other hand, to be completely fair, the food is pretty good, served in good portion. I hope my experience was a one off.

Drinks are expensive than other place, but they definitely have quality food and service. So, in general it is a good option in Enschede city center.

Food was delicious and from the moment I arrived the service was A+. The complete experience was really good, it's hard not to notice they payed special attention to details like the decoration and ambient music to make of this a top of the list restaurant and the perfect place for a special occasion celebration. Compared to other places in town you'll find it to be a little bit expensive, but in it's favor I must say that the quality and overall experience is worth it. I highly recommend the Tom Kha Kai, which is a Thai Coconut Chicken Soup and the Peking Duck with Plum Sauce, both plates were amazing.

The atmosphere and interior look amazing. I sat in a giant cage. The food was delicious. The staff was nice. The price is high. Rice, mie or bami needs to be ordered separately which cost 5 euro. I had Chicken Hawai. It was tasty. I recommend this place.

Very nice place, I had dinner inside a giant bird cage! Food was good, loved the dumplings. The hotsauce was actually hot, which was a very pleasant surprise.

Felt like the servers didn't really know what they were doing, things like not knowing dishes or keeping the menu on the table after I had to get it myself from another table. This is all not too bad, everyone needs to learn. However, the worst sin in life is having to pay for the toilet, which is a thing here. McDonalds and KFC I can understand having this for some extend, but a dine in place? What!? The food was average to good, I liked the pulled pork sandwich but it was a little overseasoned while the soup was barely seasoned at all. Prices were also higher then I was expecting. Don't recommend it sadly.

After shopping when you need coffee and cake break, delectable snacks or to sit down in a cosy atmosphere, this place is just perfect. It is located in a busy shopping area of Enschede, with friendly staffs, beautiful interiors and an open air dining patio ( for smokers) , so lovely in summer. Their egg omelette is perfect for breakfast and the apple tarts is perfect with a cup of cappuccino. They have a complimentary mini muffins, too, when you order coffee or tea. I love coming back here when in Enschede!

Exceptional service and good at Verso in Enschede. They accommodated a large group and served a delicious 3 course menu. The food was incredible, definitely some of the most flavorful food I have had.

I had the famous pasta at Verso, flambéed inside the Parmigiano wheel—definitely a showstopper! Their version has a bold twist with Sicilian lemon, which added a strong citrus note. Personally, I prefer the more classic, purely cheesy version without the lemon. That said, the entire experience—from the atmosphere to the service—truly made me feel like I was in Italy. Authentic, lively, and full of passion for food

We came here with the suggestion of a few local friends for a good dining experience. The service was very good, the waiters were super friendly and nice. However, the food was not as good we expected. We had Chef's 5-course with a variety of antipasto, fish and beef steak and most of them were overall a bit bland. Their signature spaghetti parmegiano was fine but got boring after a few bites, and they definitely need better presentation ( i wouldn't mind the look if the food was tasty). Talking of look-and-feel, the decor was also a let-down as they kind of stuck between the contemporary and tradditional italian restaurant. I thought they needed an update their exterior and interior design. All in all, a well-serviced restaurant but lack of taste, both in food and care for details

Dinner at Verso was delicious. We found the service to be extremely attentive, and the culinary food and the recommended wine tasted excellent. Definitely a place to return to!

Slightly overpriced yet tasty and nicely presented dishes glorifying not-as-expensive Italian and Italian-esque ingredients with style. Really nice terrine. The risotto takes improvement to reach the desired (and rightful) "cremoso" status. The flavor is there as is the venue and service.

First time and definitely not returning! After being sit the menu came 15 min after. Antipasto I chose was delicious and beautifully executed but the others antipasto wasnt that tasty. The other dish, risotto con lemone wasnt smth you would eat again, absolutely nothing special. The rice wasnt fully cooked. The service was super slow. Waited for 40 min for our second dish. Horrible experience. Kid friendliness is 0. Given the michelin star, I think there are plenty of other restaurants closeby that would deserve it, rather than Verso. Felt so bad because I wanted to surprise my family on my birthday. Waste of money. Totally disappointed. EDIT: someone from the restorant called us and asked why I left this review?! This is the weirdest thing ever! Sir, the risotto was not cooked. And yes, your child-friendliness is 0, because 1-the noise, 2-the lack of place to change the baby and 3-no food portions for kids. I would advise people to rethink the choice of eating at this place.

The Park is really beautiful. U can walk for a while or just sit down at a bench or the meadow. I preferred sitting by the water on the meadow, so I could feel more grounded🌱 I loved watching the ducks and gooses 🦆

It is a very spacious park, with lots of shade and a beautiful lake where you can see different animals. You can have a picnic in this park. It is great for walking, running, sitting for a picnic with friends, animals, etc.

Very nice and lovely park to hangout and is really close to the city centre. Theres even a basketball court and outdoor gym. With the ducks and the little farm with domestic animals and birds..you feel really close yo the nature.

Beautiful people's park. I really enjoyed the art market that was on, even on a rainy day it was really enjoyable. Coming from the other side of the world it was a really lovely place to visit.

Volkspark is always great for a walk or picnic. Additionally, it is a lovely spot for a festival. Here are some pictures from the Mout Bier Festival between August 6-8 2021. There was a good variety of delicious food, the music was nice, and the beer selection was impressive.

One of the great green parks of Enschede, wonderful too! Perfectly centred in Enschede, optimal walking distance from the train station and everything else I should say. Perfect during the Summer months for outdoor activities with a wide variety of Oak trees and Evergreens. During the Winter months the scenery is breath-taking and pristine. I have added a couple of snaps of this wonderful period. Spring and Autumn are great too, as long as the weather is Sunny then you can get the worthwhile experience. Most people I have seen take their kids for some leisure time, while the children do their own thing. For me it’s more of taking a shortcut to wherever I need to go and having a walk in the park is a good way to get some relaxing and fresh air. Most people I have met use the extensive area for jogging, training activities and or just enjoying the environment. Next to the park the city of Enschede organizes a seasonal fair, if you are into that kind of stuff. There is a pond were some ducks and geese enjoy the company of other beings with Earthy colognes. Stay away from the geese! They tend to bite if you get too close, or if they have younglings, which can be sketchy sometimes.

Good food and really good homemade ice tea, atmosphere at the place was really nice, full of people but not too crowded. Unfirtunately ordered haloumi salad but instead of haloumi got some other basic cheese. Not the end of the world but wasnt perfect. Overall a really good experience.

Thee table we were seated at was dirty. I ordered a cheesecake, and I haven't had such a terrible dessert in a long time ... just butter and cookies🤢I'm sorry to pay for this abomination.

Very nice ambiance, variety of food and drinks options available. Table on terrace is the best choice. Newly installed tent with water sprinkler is amezing ( for summer). Staff is young , enthusiastic and very nice. Plenty of toyes for toddlers/ kids available here. Sam Sam is our neighbour restaurant and we highly recommend it. Sat here for a drink when all of a sudden some weirdo on the square throws a beer bottle our way. It smashed apart again some glass separator right in front of us which prevented anyone getting seriously injured, but the sound was crazy and everyone realized it could have been much worse. Anyhow. Shocked people and shattered glass everywhere (including on our table). Staff came by to ask what happened, literally looked at all the glass, then left. After ten minutes surrounded by shattered glass the vibe was long gone so I went inside to tell them that we were leaving and asked them for the bill. I also mentioned there were tiny pieces of glass everywhere (and that they were probably in our drinks too) and recommended to clear the tables around us (to prevent that people would accidentally swallow such a piece of glass). Worst money ever spent for a drink we didn't even drink for safety reasons. Not blaming the girl who served us, she was very nice. But when she went to tell her manager, I believe that person should have made a more professional call.

Every time I am here the workers look annoyed and if I ask where something is they roll their eyes and mumble something as if they can’t be bothered. It’s like talking to a prepubescent child… it’s that eye roll, hair toss, talk to the hand- kind of vibe… For that reason I don’t shop in this store. Only online. At this point everything is accessible with the click of a button. What’s the point of going to a store if it isn’t for the experience?

Very basic clothes, nothing out of the ordinary. The self checkout did not take my card via NFC, but staff was there to help out!

Clean store, right now they have some nice sparkling clothes for new years. Sadly I was turned off from buying because the lady that is assigned to the changing rooms, kept gossiping about how customers take too much into the stalls and don't hang stuff up. I get that it's annoying but hearing all that complaining was also annoying.

It's an interesting museum and worth a visit :) I think it would be nice to go there as a family if you have children, but it's also suitable for adults. There may be talks and workshops and it's pretty diverse featuring typical technics museum objects. Many of the objects are not described in English though.

It's a nice museum. English text is mostly there. Not Everywhere. Guided tours are not scheduled and expensive. It's a bit weird museum. Not sure what the main tbeme is, but all the stuff is interesting.

The museum seems nice, but the exhibition is very confused. Among the various fossils and animals there is a Volkswagen. In history museums I would expect a minimum of historical nexus, a before and after, something that shows evolution or various historical discoveries. In this museum everything seems to be grouped by type of object and then randomly placed in that group. It's a shame because the structure is renovated well. This plus the fact that the visit lasts very little, I recommend the visit if and only if you have the museum card, or in any case you can enter for free.

Cool place. The mrs. found a leaflet that this place would show a butterfly exibit. Tip: when you go, get a family yearcard (EUR 25 at this time) which is cheaper then paying for 2 adults and 2 kids, and you can enter this (and the Rijksmuseum Twente a few blocks away) museum for a whole year. I bought the ticket on the spot, and used the QR code in the mail to enter. Very friendly staff to help you out. Lot's of caterpillars to admire, and you can see how a caterpillar evolves to a butterfly. Ofcourse, there is more to see, such as the history of the loom, one of the things which brought wealth to parts of Twente. Parking can be done close by in the street. At the time I was there, parking was free. There is a place close by where you can stop for a bite or a drink after a visit to the museum.

I enjoyed. It's a big museum considering the dimension of Enschede. The things it has are a bit random/diverse but so are the cities. Specifically if you live in the city or Overijssel region I think it's very important to visit so that you can get to know the history of the region.

Cool place. There uncombinable museums are combined in same place. Lots of unusual ideas like "white room" on photo - an exhibition of everything white, from paleontology to clothes. Really liked it. Lots of text only in Dutch, but even with only English it was nice.

I ordered fries. I waited more than 30 minutes, while later ordered fries were served. Turned out that they forgot my order. Guess what they did? Instead of making a proper one, they gather some leftover fries and serve it, yes, those small greasy and super salty ones, which are usually left in the bottom of your fries.

The worst experience ever! I was out with my colleges for a weekend in this club for the first time in my life. I am psychologist from Canada. I have psoriasis on my head and I wear a hat in public spaces. When I was entering this club the security guy asked me to take off my hat which I found disturbing, and even if I said I would prefer not to, he insisted that I must. SO I DID but I was embarrassed because of my psoriasis and instead of a hat I wore my jacket hoody later on. He came to me again and asked to take off my hoody. I asked why and the answer was: "because I said so" ! Then I asked him and who are you to tell me to take off my hoody??? And he throw me out of the club. He seems to have psychopathic and narcissistic trates and I do not recommend no one to go out to this place because of those sketchy- full of themselves - weak - women molesting security. V.

Paddys is my go to place in enschede. Whether for lunch, dinner, drinks or just sitting outside for a drink. Variety of food, and I never tried something I didn't like. Prices are super fair and portions are big. I love Saturday nights parties, the music, the vibes.

The famous Irish Pub in the heart of Old Market Square in Enschede. Nice place to chill out specially in summer...the place gets packed up. Right in the open market place of Enschede, one can relax and have an Irish beer ( Guinness ) or Dutch beer ( Grolsch) plus you can order food! Lunch specials, tapas, desserts,etc open 7 day’s a week!

The food was fantastic , we chose Ceaser salad, Paddys Burger an Clubsandwich. The Clubsandwich was probably the best an biggest clubsandwich you can get for just 10€

We were a group of 3 persons and had some nice finger food there but in the end a really bad experience at Paddy's. Someone stole our jackets when we went outside for some fresh air. When we told the doormen about the situation they did not care at all and wouldn't even let us in anymore to look for the jackets. Service personnel didn't seem to care either about their guests' experience. What remains for me as impression is very poor service and lack of customer orientation. Definitely would not recommend to visit this place.

Located inside a nice part, it's one of the best restaurants to have a good bite, nice steak or chill with your friends. The service is top notch and quick. The food is super tasty and have a good amount of options for drinks as well. The interior is spacious and the terrace is the best place to be in summer.

You must try to eat at Loetje at least once when you visit The Netherlands. I was curious if there is Dutch food that is worth trying (aside from bitterballen, kroket, frikandel, patat with humongous serving of mayonnaise, stamppot) and I saw "Loetje" as they have a lot of branches all over The Netherlands. We tried this branch - and the aesthetics of the restaurant didn't disappoint. It has a Great Gatsby/art deco vibe. We are a group of 5 and ordered individual steaks. The steak came in one by one so the steak is already cold as we have to wait for everybody to get their order. It would be nice if the order was given all at once (at least the steaks). And since we are a group of 5, we got a whole white loaf of bread stacked on one plate instead of putting some slices on each plate. The steak is okay - just okay to try at least once. The steak is swimming in a pool of salty butter gravy. Overall, Loetje is nice but their steak plate goes straight to your heart so eat with caution. The employees in the Enschede branch are nice but we had difficulty catching their attention as the place is a little busy when we dined there.

Don't go here if you even remotely love food. My steak was largely raw but the waiter insisted it was medium-rare. Besides that, all flavour was drowned out by the ridiculous amount of gravy they served with the dish. Edit in response to the owner reaction below We indicated to the waiter that the steak was not to our liking as it was still largely raw inside. He then told us this is what medium-rare is supposed to look like, which is patently false. After some back and forth, we did send it back and got a steak that was at least rare. I just find it very weird that the line cooks are unable to grill a steak medium-rare if that's the only way you make them. And if a customer raises an issue, you do not gaslighting them into believing this is what medium-rare is supposed to look like.

Nice looking restaurant. The pesto was of great taste. But the xl steak was just way too undercooked and definitely not medium rare, and even after returning it and waiting for quite some time it was barely better. I think the venue looks great, but enschede has way better places to eat at.

Huge and cozy restaurant immersed in a beautiful park. The atmosphere is truly attractive and service is ok. The menù has a selection of meat based(steak, hamburger), fish based (salmon) and veggie products and a good selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Unfortunately the food we tried was not the best. Good the lotje soup and hamburger is acceptable while toasts and fries should be improved. The oil used for the fries give them a strong retro taste of old or overfried product. The backed mushrooms were not worth the cost since it’s a little plate with few precut champignons from supermarket rather than fresh mushrooms. Coffee is too watery and we had stomachache after drinking it. The good and bad aspects are the reason for my 3 stars.

This is a fancy place for a nice dine in experience. All dishes are skillfully crafted and is equally delicious. The staff is really kind, polite and attentive. The interiors and cutlery is top quality. The location is super close to the station, if you have to catch a train and has an amazing backdrop of volkspark, for an after dinner walk :). One of the best location in the city.

Pretty average place. Went there as part of a business event where our company hosted their Christmas event with them. Most of the people were excited before the event to go here, but the experience left a lot to be desired.

Good morning, I have been going to this place 2 or 3 times a week for 2 years. Today I had a completely unpleasant experience I sat down and, as always, the attendant arrived 2 minutes later. I asked her to wait because I was waiting for a friend because we were going to have coffee. She said okay and left. Exactly 5 minutes later I was on the phone trying to resolve something with my husband and a man (manager) appeared. Talking loudly and demanding that I place an order immediately because I couldn't sit there without consuming it. I was 5 minutes away from the place. I felt extremely disrespected because I had already told the attendant that I would make the order. I asked for two minutes so I could end the call and he continued talking loudly until he got tired and left. I was angry and embarrassed, I placed an order for a machiatto flavor. I'm sad because I always come to the place but never go back! The company does not have a website where I can file a complaint. My friend arrived and we left, I won't waste my time in this place again.

We went there to get some coffee. The coffee was nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. Very nice outside inside terrace!

Never in my life have I had such bad service, nothing came on time meaning the orders were a complete mess, items we ordered didn't even come. The waitress/petulant child that served our group had the most discussing attitude I have ever had to deal with. I first tried to talk to her about these problems and all I received was a blank look of she did not care at all. When our visit was at its end I asked for the bill, she decided to just tell me the price and I said that isn't good enough I wanted to see an actual printed bill. When this arrived it was wrong as I suspected, I then tried to further my complaint as at this point I had clearly had enough. The extraordinarily arrogant waitress accused me of screaming instead of talking the first time I tried to complain (I have never been so insulted in my life) after she made this accusation I simply instructed her take a breath stop talking and bring me her manager. She then told me the manager was over there as she pointed towards the serving station, I simply told her to bring the manager to me. This didn't happen. The manager clearly could not be bothered and sent just another member of staff that did not in anyway have the ability or rank to deal with our complaint as he had to keep running back to the service station. No real offer of Compensation other than another item of which we were not prepared to wait any longer was given and our complaint was in no way cared about of satisfactory concluded. At the end of our complaint I requested the details of the waitress for my complaint to the Head office, but as suspected it was refused a long with the recipt for our purchase. This is not how anyone should be treated so my advise is stay away from this business, find one that values their customers!!

We ordered a caprese from the menu, but was served the most basic tomato and mozzarella without pesto. Please don't call it caprese in the menu or serve what you write. Was my first time, but disappointed :(

Sat at table for 15 minutes and watched 3 other tables arrive after us being served before us. We indicated to the waitress and she indicated to wait. We left without even ordering. I will not return.

What to say, it was a perfect evening. The whole evening I felt as if I was having a moment of selfcare, I was so completely relaxed. Staff is so kind, knowledgeable and relaxed. Beautiful design and I was in love with especially the plates, which combined with the artsy presentation of the food was just an art work. Then the flavours itself were as surprising and fascinating as the dish looked. As if you tasted all it's colours. Very creative combinations and all so different. And I love the emphasis on sustainability, local culture and healthy food. Lots of Michelin out there but this one really deserves it but the people are so humble. Lastly, they have wonderful knowledge about drink pairing, whether it was about wines for my French boyfriend who loves a good wine, or alcohol free cocktails for me - each combination they made with the food just hit correctly!

We sadly had to interrupt our December menu. Thanks again to the staff that reacted so flexible to our situation. Joan is a very special restaurant in all sense: food, wine and staff!!

Good food, but the courses included in the arrangement were served at such a high pace that we needed to rush our wine drinking. This is not acceptable at this price level.

This restaurant used to be my dad’s office when he was still in charge as police officer in the region. Fabulous experience and exceptional food and wines. Highly recommended.

Really nice museum, I like the thematic setup where art is next to eachother related by theme, not timeline, so art from different era's are right next to eachother.

No so big museum. The Rijksmuseum Twenthe in Enschede, the Netherlands, was founded by textile industry Baron Jan Bernard Van Heek. He donated his own private collection and the museum building to the government. So thus making it a national museum. I am so happy to see hear 3 paintings of Peter Briegell. There are some contemporary exhibitions. I love the exhibition of contemporary artist Weidmuller.

Wonderful museum! Several cool exhibitions (and absolutely different in terms of info/energy/visual content). Beautiful cafe (with a very good coffee and a very appealing cakes). Just one little thing that I didn’t like (but museum can’t do anything about it, of course) - quite an expensive parking fee nearby.

I visited the Rijksmuseum Twenthe with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t full at all. The entry is free for Students which is great! There are a lot if beautiful paintings and different kinds of modern art. We really enjoyed our visit and especially liked the 10 meters of sound, lavender carpet and most of the paintings.

It's a unique experience to visit this place. Was not aware of such rich and fine collection of art, history and culture. The museum has assistive gadget guide to follow items and information. A wonderful courtyard with a cafe and a souvenir shop to spend a nice afternoon, surrounded by open corridors. Also includes exhibits of modern art and stylistic dutch overtones of de stijl and art deco movements. What a visual treat !!

Lovely museum with a small collection of works from all over the world. Ranging from the 15th century to very recent. The Royal wall tapestry display is a must see. Temporary exhibition in May of 2024 was by Kees Stoop.

Such a gorgeous unique place! I ordered a chicken toast and wanted it really quickly because I was in hurry. And it worked! The only problem was the toilet, which was not that clean.

😍 Went here on our last day in Enschede for breakfast. The venue inside the library is very interesting with a lot to explore and cozy as well. Very good service and fair prices (ordered everything in the picture plus another tosti, two coffee and an “easy breakfast” for less than 40€). Tab-Water is for free.

Great place and cheap to especially with how good the quality is! Great value for your money! The best way to describe the place is as a cheaper Frank & Charlie's, and I mean this as a compliment! Very childfriendly, lots of children playing everywhere, so good place to with kids. It's also part of the library and has some study spots with outlets but I don't think studying here would be too productive with all the noise. They also don't allow laptops around lunchtime. I'd recommend the American pancakes and the Chai Latte is also quite good.

Chill, relaxed place for lunch. Nothing gourmet, but great value for money. The chicken wrap and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup are great choices. It can sometimes be quite noisy, since it's quite popular among families with little children, but usually has a relaxed coffee house atmosphere.

Arrived at 9:40 on a Monday morning, and in a fully empty space was told not to use my laptop at that specific table and that I needed to move. Just add a minimum spend or maximum time (if you really must). Laptop-free rules are obnoxious and should be removed.

Very cozy and aesthetically pleasing cafe. We had the avocado toast and American pancakes. The pancakes have a very delicious mango sauce. For drinks, we had a vanilla flavored chai latte and a dirty chai latte, both very tasty. The staff is also very friendly. It’s a nice place for brunch and also if you want somewhere to work/study.

WORST bar in Enschede, the workers are so disrespectful, they make it mandatory to put away our jackets for 2€ even If you are wearing it, that’s why they can’t stand on their own by selling beers. The worker was touching me while he was telling me to put my jacket away. The 1€ beers are not even worth it. Terrible place. Couldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy

Terrible place! Workers, manager, security are very disrespectful. They just do not want people to be there. If you guys dont want to do the job, don't do it, go home. Somebody is trying to have a good night out and you guys are destroying it. Beer is 1 euro but nobody wants to go there because of manager and security!

Went to have a drink with some friends outside, and the price and atmosphere was just very bad. Expensive and annoying people just getting drunk during the day next to you.

If you are not dutch no jackets allowed. You need to pay 2€ to put your jackets in the cloak room otherwise they expel you out RACISTS

Most unprofessionell secuity ever seen. I just went outside to say goodbye to friends. Did not leave me in again because apperntly I had no Ticket (altho I had been inside for 2 huors and spent over 70 Euros just in Drinks). Just wanted to get my jacket. Weak

Don't do it. Writing this review while still sitting here, it's that bad! We came here to enjoy the warm evening. This place seemed emptier than its neighboring pubs. We should have known. We were served by a young waitress with pinkish hair and a nose ring. She was extremely rude and seemed unhappy to have to attend to us. No thank you or please even though we were very courteous to her. She gave us so much attitude when we asked for an ashtray and menu. She seemed to be the only waitress around so we had no choice. She was on her phone when we wanted to order and we waited for her to look up to wave to her. She was visibly aghast that she had to leave her phone and attend to us! Again zero smile when she served us. At some point it even felt a bit racist as I saw her being nice to locals. I had to get up to pay my bill like few other tables because she was not looking up from her screen. When I got there I saw that she had her whatsapp screen open. That was the last straw for me. We always leave a generous tip wherever we go even if the food and service is just ok. Needless to say, we are not planning to leave any here! Seems the owner doesn't care much about this given all the bad reviews. There are plenty of nice pubs around, better spend your time and money there 😉

I love it here! There are a lot of animal varieties such as alpacas, goat, cow, pig, rabbit, etc.. Just be careful when you have food on your hand..they are very aggressive 😂 And..watch out for your steps ;)

One of the best parks I've been too. You can pet rabbits, hamstrings, sheep, goat and lamas (if the lamas are in the mood🥲) and many more animals like chicken, birds and even kangaroos, although I didn't seem them this year when I went. Not sure what happened to them Great place for kids or the family. I am 21 and still had fun. Nice bond with ducks and other similar animals. There is also a place for kids to play. Animals look like they are in a very friendly environment

This park is quite big, many people choose to come here for running or doing other sports. There is plenty of space for just having a picnic as well. Many birds and other domestic animals are taken care of inside the park so especially for animal lovers it would be a lovely place to visit.

Very nice location, awesome place to take your children or having a weekend stroll. There is even a small petting farm with unique animals you wouldn't normally find around.

The place is a little paradise on earth, perfect for children to be introduced to animals outside the pet norm, perfect for people with stress and anxiety to calm down and relax around the presence of those majestic creatures. Perfect!

We expected your team to handle the situation with the gravity it deserves. Instead, we were offered only a 10% discount, which we found to be an entirely inadequate response to such a dangerous and alarming oversight. We urge you to take this matter seriously, investigate how this could have happened, and provide an appropriate response. We also expect to hear what measures will be taken to prevent this from ever happening again.

Such a good meal! You usually get 5 pieces per person per round, and you can order another round when things are eaten up, so choose wisely if you're a bigger group, because everyone will be chaising the good food.

The best all you can eat from the city! The sushi isn't huge, the hot meals are delicious, only the drinks that could be better, because I don't like Pepsi 😞 But besides that, it is awesome

Beautiful restaurant, tasty food, and fair prices Blue Sakura is a visually attractive restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and tasty Japanese food. The pricing is fair for what you get. I’ve been there a few times without a reservation and always found a table, although I was asked each time if I had booked in advance. So it might be wise to reserve, especially during peak hours.

Great place to chill with friends, the fried items on the menu are very tasty and fried very well although for some reason the sushi and meat options were tasting similar or the same which i hoped it would taste different from each other as different ingredients were used to make the sushi/meat. We also asked for tap water but the waiter refused and told us we can give tap water if you buy a bottle of wine which was strange but overall not a bad place to eat at a all you can eat but i wish that each item could stand out on its own.

Blue Sakura has been my favorite restaurant in Enschede since 2020! After three years, I went back in 2024, and it cost 29.50 euros per person. The food was tasty, the service was good, and the ambiance of the restaurant was also nice! My favorite dish is the Gebakken zalm. I remember its name has changed, it was called Sake Yaki. But the taste remains the same. Definitely will go back here to enjoy my comfort foods!

The best food I have had in a while. Very fresh and tasty. Very easy to order and the waiters are always kind and helpful. I am definitively coming back.

Nice cozy place with very friendly hosts. The food is good and have ample of options to choose from. The best part is the smart ordering using the tablet on the table, cutting the waiting time. The experience was very fun and time well spent.

Absolutely wonderful place! It felt we were seated in the lap of nature, enjoying well-made vegetarian dishes. The lasagna was delightful, and the drinks were very refreshing. The staff were very polite and friendly, adding to the experience! Maybe due to the dinner rush, it took quite a while for the food to be ready. But the wait was worth it for the delicious meals! 10/10 recommend.

The ambience of this pretty restaurant is a huge reason in itself to visit here atleast once! I enjoyed the burger and the kebabs were okay.

A very unique vegan Restaurant. Great food, amazing atmosphere!

This place is one of a kind. I was amazed at all the quirky little details that have been put in different places to create a truly unique experience. The staff was super polite and answered our questions thoughtfully. The only problem we had was with one of the desserts that either had really thick cream cheese or mayonnaise (!) on top of it so it was just too "heavy" to eat in the end. But I highly recommend the vegetarian burger, it is one of the best I have ever had!

The place is unique, really different with another restaurant. The high tea package is nice to share with family or some friends. But some of the cakes are a bit too sweet. Overall, it’s a good place to spend Sunday afternoon with family.

This place had been warmly recommended to us but we will not be going there again. The meal started great and I can recommend the horomaki and beef tataki. The fried rice was just OK but the wait in between the dishes was very long and with very little service. The wagyu, 60€ per 100g, was horrendously expensive for what we received and was served cold which ruined the entire experience. The placement of tables really doesn't allow the waiters to see you and attend to the tables properly, the light is also very dimmed and the ambiance very loud. The lights are so dimmed that our waiter could not see the very obvious red stains on the spoons and had to replace it 3 times before we could get a clean one. They forgot us for dessert and had to be reminded to bring the menu, we chose 2 surprise desserts for 2 people each: one normal and one for gluten and dairy intolerance. The normal one was a huge disappointment with sorbets and not so nice accompaniments. The one for the dietary restrictions was horrendous though, somehow the sorbets were different than the normal ones (mango, lemon and cherry from clearly different brands than the normal ones even though they are both sorbets) and tasted like chemicals. This was paired with some fruits that were not even ripe. All in all we thought we would get a high quality restaurant but got an overly pricey experience with mediocre food that was way too expensive for what it was and very poor service due to the table placement.

Very disappointing. The food was ordinary and the price was too high. The service was okay.. but not good enough for what we paid. We chose the chef menu 2 and it came with soy beans (basic), a soup (it was ok), the sushi had a truffle maionese and a kimchi flavour maionese that it was also served in the warm dishes afterwards (warm maionese as a sauce). The grilled fish had no flavour, the meat dish was ordinary. We finished with cheesecake and ice cream that didn’t feel homemade, it was supermarket quality. The music was loud and the waiting time between dishes was too long. This experience was too low for the high price we paid.

The best Japanese Resto we've ever had in Netherlands! I surprised my husband to dine during his Birthday and he had so much fun with it. We both like the food, wine, sake and the service! Thank you to Shing Yin and Dunya for making my husband's birthday extra special. Kudos to the Chef!

Great ambiance, very friendly staff. My family has come to this restaurant for years and the food never disappoints. For big groups I suggest reserving tables on time, and make use of the Chef's Choice menus. They are easier for the kitchen for big groups, and definitely worth it and easily sharable among multiple people. Love this restaurant. Will definitely come back many times and recommend it to everyone.

The rolls, but most dishes actually, have a lot of sauce on them, making the actual fish hard to taste. The chefs menu is a lot of food, but it's definitely (too?) pricey. Staff is nice. Doesn't feel authentic Japanese, more fusion-like. They have their own parking on the other side of the road, where there were several places.

This place doesn't disappoint. Yesterday we had the best grilled lamb chops ever. Absolute bomb.

Superb sushi! Even the take-out option is of impeccable quality. If you're in for a delicious treat, than you can't go amiss at TAO.
