Monument
Korcula Town Gate is a charming and picturesque fortified town located in Croatia, known for its remarkable beauty and strategic position. The town's fortified walls, dating back to the 13th century, surround the entire Old Town and offer panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding archipelago. Often referred to as a mini-Dubrovnik, Korcula Town is a gem of Croatia with limestone streets that transport visitors back in time.
My wife and I were happy to take the ferry from Orebic to Korcula. The journey is short and pleasant. The old town itself with its magnificent entrances takes you over and you quickly travel back a few centuries in history. There is so much to see. Small shops selling coral, paintings, food and of course ice cream to cool you down while you walk along the hot stone and at least 400-year-old streets.
Bogdan M — Google review
Korčula is a beautiful place with a lot to offer, and overall, I had a good experience. It's definitely on the expensive side, but that's expected for a touristic destination. The scenery is stunning, and the town has a charming atmosphere that makes it worth visiting. One downside was the overly aggressive approach of many sellers—especially in the more crowded areas. Even when you're just walking by or have already said no multiple times, they keep trying to offer you things, which can get frustrating and ruin the relaxed vibe. That said, there are some great spots with more reasonable prices—you just have to explore a bit and avoid the obvious tourist traps. With some patience, you can find genuinely good places to eat or shop without being harassed. Despite the downsides, I’d still recommend visiting. Just go in knowing what to expect and be ready to hunt for the hidden gems.

A beautiful walk up the stairs and through the Town gate. As the tower was closed I did walked upto a certain point and admired the view, but also to see the gate from the other side, which it has got some I interested details like the cannot with the cannon balls, the coat of arms and the soldier helmet at the centre.
Kypriopoulla — Google review
Simply magical old town with its impressive gate to enter, it's narrow streets, many stairs, different shops with sometimes original galleries, charming restaurants and cafes. What a throwback in time !
Lamis G — Google review
We were visiting at the morning time and wasn't to cruaudy. Nice old Marco Polo town with own soul and of course long history. No entrance fee , just if you scale up to entering tower it is 3 eur for adults.
Stane B — Google review
I would recomend this as a place to visit if you are history lover. If you can get a tour because you will find out cool things about the city.

Saint Mark's Cathedral is a 15th-century church located in the old town of Korcula. It was built from Korcula limestone in a Gothic-Renaissance style by Italian and local artisans. The cathedral features intriguing sculptural details on its facade, including figures of Adam and Eve, a two-tailed mermaid, and an elephant. The bell tower offers panoramic coastal views and is adorned with ornate carvings by Korculan Marko Andrijic.
Saint Mark's Cathedral in Korčula Town is a standout example of Gothic-Renaissance architecture, constructed between the 14th and 16th centuries by local stonemasons. Situated at the highest point of the old town, the cathedral features an ornate façade adorned with a fluted rose window and statues of Adam and Eve. Inside, visitors can view notable artworks, including paintings by Tintoretto. The cathedral's bell tower offers panoramic views of the town and the Adriatic Sea, accessible for an additional fee. While entry to the cathedral itself is free, the bell tower requires a separate ticket. It's advisable to check opening hours in advance, as they can vary by season. The cathedral remains a significant cultural and historical site, reflecting Korčula's rich heritage.

St. Mark's Cathedral is located in the old town of Korčula. It was built in the Gothic-Renaissance style, completed in the 15th century. The interior is quite modest, you can feel the spirit of the times. There are sarcophagi embedded in the floor, where dignitaries are buried. My wife and I lit a candle and paid homage to the dead.
Bogdan M — Google review
it's a nice cathedral located in the middle of the old town of korčula! it's very nicely decorated, and the price to entry is very cheap (3 Euro's for adults, and free for children)! definetly recommend checking it out if you're into religious architecture, but it's nothing too noteworthy if you're a tourist
Faris S — Google review
3€ per person to go in plus €5 more to go up the bell tower. Be warned: as with most bell towers, you go up a stone, spiral staircase but this one seemed narrower than most. The walkway at the top is super narrow: my backpack and I had to squeeeeeeze through (I weigh 70kgs and am 175cm tall so am not overweight). The cathedral is small but beautiful.
David L — Google review
Beautiful little church in the middle of oldtown Korçula. The first when going up was extremely narrow (even a little claustrophobic) but the views from the top were amazing. Not super safe to go with small children as there are many places they might slip, stumble or just step into thin air (our 4 year old went butt first down the stairs as they were pretty steep). Not much space at the top either so recommended to go with a smaller group of people.
Fredrica B — Google review
The Cathedral of St. Mark (also known as Korčula Cathedral) is located in the heart of Korčula’s Old Town. Built in the 15th century, it features a blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture that makes it one of the island’s most striking landmarks. One of the highlights is climbing the cathedral’s bell tower, which offers breathtaking 360° panoramic views of the town and the sea beyond. Be prepared, though—the steps are very steep and narrow, and the climb can feel a bit challenging in such a tight space. Still, once you reach the top, the view is absolutely worth it, and you’ll feel a great sense of accomplishment for making the climb.
Stephanie C — Google review
Beautiful architecture. The entrance to the cathedral is not free.
Gaja Š — Google review
Very disappointing to pay 3€ to receive not information on what to see in the church and any significant explanations or history. It is a small local church which does need some explanation.

Museum
Marko Polo Centar is a small stone house in Korcula Town, believed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. The center includes a museum that vividly portrays the life and adventures of the great explorer through tableaux and an audio track. Visitors can enjoy stunning sea views from the tower. The recently renovated center offers informative exhibits, graphics, and information about Marco Polo's significance for the history of Korcula island.
One of the most gorgeous towns I’ve ever seen. Buildings from the 13-15th century so beautifully kept. Amazing food, emerald waters and every corner had wine, gelato, fish, and pizza to die for. Go, u may never leave. 🫶♾️🇭🇷
Christiaan C — Google review
As my mother put it "Marco Polo had less trouble on his journey than we did navigating this museum." This was the only thing we experienced in all of Korčula that I don't recommend. Such an embarrassing and poorly done exhibit. After wandering around trying to make sense of the numbers and arrows, I went back downstairs to ask the employee if there was a guide book or brochure. He said "no, but you can have this" and gave me a map that required an actual magnifier to use (see photo). Only 1 of the multimedia screens was working, so we missed a lot of information. The "artifacts" were mostly replicas or irrelevant knick knacks (items from the silk road circa the 20th century...). It seemed that several exhibits had been removed, and the "library" was empty (see photo). The only redeeming feature was the view from the tower. The order was confusing as well - it seems to start in the middle and you end up in the beginning only to have to walk back the way you came. Don't waste your time.
K C — Google review
The Marco Polo House in Korčula, Croatia, is less of a traditional museum and more of a cultural center and gift shop dedicated to reimagining Marco Polo’s life. Inside, you’ll find displays of what his maps, tools, and diaries might have looked like, as well as exhibits highlighting the many places he traveled and explored. The highlight is the lookout point at the top of the center, where you get a direct view over the city and the beautiful Saint Mark’s Cathedral. It’s a small but fascinating stop that offers both history and stunning views, and admission is only 6 euros.
Stephanie C — Google review
Possibly the worst exhibit I’ve seen recently. They must not actually believe Marco Polo was from here. All 6 TV screens were not working. Half the displays were empty. No information or guide document. The last room …every door open and empty. Really weird.

Cocktail bar Massimo

Cocktail bar
Located at the top of the Zakerjan Tower, Cocktail Bar Massimo offers a unique experience with stunning views of the peninsula and Old Town. Accessible through wooden staircases, this open-air bar is popular for its picturesque setting, making it a favorite spot for capturing Instagram-worthy moments. The bar's terrace provides an ideal setting to enjoy exotic fruity cocktails while witnessing breathtaking sunsets.
Massimo was highly recommended by many and did not disappoint! We went up during sunset and had a beautiful view of the bay and the setting sun. There are limited tables but we did get lucky and snagged one! People came in and out for ohoto ops so tables did open during the time we were there. Our friends didn't mention the ladder climbing to get to the top so that was a fun surprise. Anyone with mobility limitations or a dislike for precarious ladders may not be well suited. But it was perfectly safe when taken slowly and we saw people of all ages make the climb! Be sure to check it out for a great view!
L C — Google review
Amazing cocktails in a thoroughly unique historical setting. We sat atop a medieval tower sipping delicious cocktails brought up along the outside of the tower by pulley system. The views over the old town of Korcula as well as Peljesac and the nearby islands is brief taking, highly recommended! Pro tip - leave your backpack behind and ladies, skip the skirts/dresses for this one… you have to climb up a ladder and through an opening to reach the top - the opening isn’t huge so backpacks tends to get stuck and in a skirt/dress everyone under you gets a look!
Heather W — Google review
The best place in the city to catch the sunset. The drinks are tasty but a bit on the pricy end but you pay for the experience which is 100% worth it. Ladies, great place for the instagram photos (: just keep in mind the way up to the tower requires a ladder so maybe wear shorts under if you’re wearing a skirt! It’s an interesting concept you must experience when in the city. The staff was great and accommodating.
Melynda R — Google review
This rooftop place is an absolute must-see while in beautiful Korcula! Nothing else like it! Service was impeccable! Views are unbeatable. Loved the way the drinks come up via the tray on pulley system. Can’t wait to return!
Kelly M — Google review
Great place to watch the sunset in Korcula. Access via steep ladder so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Cocktails around €15-18. Expensive but you’re paying for the view & the setting!
Emma D — Google review
Definitely a tourist trap. The location is cool and unique but it’s basically just a bunch of people standing around taking pictures of themselves. Worth a visit if you want to be able to say you had a drink in a turret, but honestly you can get better views elsewhere in Dubrovnik and cheaper drinks almost everywhere else. The server up top was very friendly but the one at the entrance was a bit surly. Be prepared to wait for a bit to get up if you come at a busy time (right before sunset).
W. W — Google review
Great place to grab a drink and see the sunset! Steep climb up a long ladder. I got the pink grapefruit g&t and it was really good and refreshing.
Beatrice G — Google review
This place is a must visit if you’re ever in the area! If you are a person like me who will do some crazy things for views, then you’ll definitely climb a ladder up a hole to see the views of this cute cocktail bar. If you have trouble come up stairs this is not the bar for you. The ladder is the only way up. But once you are up you will see that the views are worth it. The drinks are not anything special, so it’s really the atmosphere, and once again the VIEWS!!

Dessert shop
Cukarin Korcula is a renowned pastry shop in Korcula Old Town, offering traditional local cakes and specialty products. The highlight is the whisper-light cukarin, crescent-shaped biscuits traditionally enjoyed with prosek wine. Additionally, the shop features the irresistible chocolatey Marko Polo bombice and other own-brand cakes displayed in a glass cabinet. Visitors can also find a variety of specialty products such as Korculan wine, olive oil, and specialty chocolate bars.
Please don’t come here if what you are looking for is an inexpensive, run-of-the-mill ordinary cookie or two, because this is not that kind of place. Instead, think of this as a Michelin star restaurant serving only fresh, handmade, lovingly-prepared traditional baked sweets. The owner, formerly a nurse during the Balkan War of the 1990s, decided to do something to make people happy, so she opened this shop and has served delighted customers her edible artworks ever since. Please, do not complain about paying what she asks — the price is fair for the labor and high-quality ingredients in what we receive, and these are worth every cent.
Marsha R — Google review
The small pekara was nice but the pastry and cookies are not special. The selection is not much and the prices are quite high. It was fresh and sweet. The staff were very friendly to us.
Tom ( — Google review
I have visited the place on Sunday which it was closed, so I popped in again during working hours. The place is famous as the lady that makes the cookies and other specialities, have been doing so 30 years and more. I have bought some biscuits which are not any different from the others.

Marco Homemade Ice Cream is a must-visit spot in Croatia, offering a delightful selection of homemade ice cream and gelato. The flavors range from classic to unique, including options like fig cheesecake and vegan orange and ginger. Visitors rave about the rich and creamy texture of the gelato, with combinations like dark chocolate & orange and salted caramel receiving high praise. The welcoming owner adds to the charm of this ice cream haven, making it a perfect stop while exploring Korcula Town.
This ice cream was so good I went both nights when I stayed on the island. The watermelon sorbet was delicious (a rare find so I always get it when I see it). It had some seeds in it so I knew it was legitimate and fresh. It was also a good price for the quality.
Rebecca — Google review
Ice cream was good - however nothing special. You have many options in the city too - the cone was terrible and the service was also bad. It seemed like she was doing us a favour by giving us some ice cream. We had the watermelon and Marco Polo flavours here
Aditi G — Google review
This artisanal ice-cream is truly amazing! The scoops are value for money, good in both a cup or a cone. The Marco Polo is highly recommended! The Lemon Sorbet packs a delightful punch. Kinder ice cream had delightful swirls of chocolate with the vanilla. The combination of salted caramel and peanut ice cream were artfully balanced. We stopped here every day during our 6 day stay. It's an amazing treat on a hot or even a rainy day! If you can ignore the rudest service lady in all of Korcula, do yourself a favour and go here!
Michelle W — Google review
Best ice-cream we had on our whole trip in Croatia and lovely staff. This place was particularly good for me as a lactose intolerant person as the vegan options were amazing, they tasted so creamy and like real ice cream not just sorbet. We went here twice a day everyday during our stay as it is so rare for me to find such good dairy free icecream.
Claudia C — Google review
The flavours of ice-cream are incredible. We walked past it each night so I got to try quite a few! The watermelon sorbet was unbelievably creamy. The fig and cheesecake was indulgent but refreshing. The orange and ginger was sweet with a kick, and the Marco Polo ( forest gateaux in a cone) was sheer bliss. Go there (lots!)
Nic H — Google review
Wow! Marco's is the definition of artisanal ice cream. Imagine the sweetest, sun-ripened Adriatic fruits concentrated into rich, homemade sladoled (ice cream). The watermelon flavor was absolutely mind-blowing, and the fig (smokva) cheesecake tasted exactly as what you imagined it would taste like. This is a must-visit spot, located just downhill from the basketball court at Banje Beach. Highly recommended!
Fred M — Google review
Top ice cream in Korcula. Would call it a mix between gelato and ice cream. Tried the chocolate, salted caramel, Marco Polo, strawberry, and vanilla flavors. All quite good.
Mike P — Google review
Worth the walk away from Old Town. We got really good ice creams; lavender with white chocolate (really refreshing), watermelon (that actually tastes of real watermelon, not that bubblegum crap) and some really flavourful intense pistachio. Really creative flavours and with great quality. Wish I could try them all.

A cosy pizzaria and wine bar down an alleyway in Korcula. THe staff were friendly and welcoming, the pizza was hot and delicious whilst the beer was cold. What more do you want?
Neil L — Google review
The pizzas are delicious and great value. What let us down was that we went out of our way to find a Gluten Free restaurant for 10 people, which Leut is meant to be and advertised online and in person as. We arrived at 18:15 and were told they didn’t have any GF bases. We decided to say since our two GF could have salad. The salads were terrible, dry and the chef was disgruntled about adding extras like avocado. Overall a disappointing experience.
Brent R — Google review
The only gluten free pizza we found in Old Town. Friendly staff, great prices. We bought wine from the market near the dock a few blocks away, took the pizza to go. One gf pizza wasn't enough, we went back for a second. Two pizzas 25 Euros.
Rolando K — Google review
The pizza is good and cheaper than other places, price $14euros for a large one. The salads are very simple, so maybe a bit expensive for what they are made of. Quick service. Good overall. They do take cards.
Alma F — Google review
The staff doesn’t quite care about their clients. I came to this establishment without any expectations and left with a bad impression. Didn’t get to try any food because the waitress simply never came back to take our order or to check the other costumers. After a very long time waiting they came only to say they were closing - mind you is 14h50 on a Wednesday. Totally unprofessional. I’m certain you have better pizzas in the city center, just save your time.

Really phenomenal experience at Pizzeria Leut, this place was referred to us by a local and I’m very happy with it. Fairly priced with delicious pizza. For the beer drinkers out there pay attention, the .5L beer on draft is 5 kuna more expensive than a .5L beer in a bottle. Would recommend and would return.

We came here per recommendation from our guide. It was delicious!! We had the lobster with pasta for 2, risotto, bread service, grilled veggies and 2 pasta with butter for our kids. The Marco Polo Croatian wine was lovely! The kids also ordered the chocolate cake, note it does have orange inside, not on the outside and it is strong. The seating on the terrace was lovely and once the sun went down even more lovely, the even during July! We saw other tables around us order the fish and it looked delicious!

The service was outstanding, the food an absolute delight, and the atmosphere felt like traveling back in time. Everything was perfect. The fish was incredibly fresh, and Adrian’s attention couldn’t have been better, we truly felt at home, away from home. Even though we had to wait a bit longer for the big fish, they went above and beyond by offering us extra appetizers and dessert. They treat you like family. Highly recommended, 100%!

Located in the picturesque Korcula Old Town, Bokar Wine Bar is a charming spot near Marco Polo House. The bar offers an impressive selection of wines and delectable cold meat and cheese platters or tapas. The cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and traditional vibe make it an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring or to kick off a lively evening.
So so nice. We enjoyed every second. Dalmatian platter was exquisite. Service was very knowledgeable and friendly. They treated us like royalty. Wine selection was amazing, you cannot have a bad wine here. The setting is just out of this world. See it for yourself!

A fantastic spot for wine lovers! The wines were absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable—offering great recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly. The charcuterie platter was generous and paired beautifully with the drinks. Would definitely come back!

We came here twice on our trip. The wine tasting special with a platter was delicious and reasonably priced. The owner was lovely and spent time chatting with us. Would highly recommend as a pre dinner stop.

We had an amazing time at Bokar, enjoying a wine tasting while overlooking the water. The service was incredible, offering us more than we had ordered. We had an immaculate view, delicious food, and every wine we tasted was incredible. Korcula can be a busy town which make Bokar the perfect stop to enjoy the scenery and pause before continuing on our excursion.
Luke B — Google review
Really enjoyed their wine tasting, €20 for 3 wines and small meat and cheese snack board before 8pm. We had a variety, 1 rosé, 1 white and 1 red but other people were having just one kind if that's what you'd rather. Great view, highly recommend as a starter before going to your restaurant for a meal.

A charming spot tucked away in a small alley, perfect for enjoying a wine tasting on a hot afternoon. The owner, Velko, is friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. While we’re by no means wine experts, we know what we like, and everything we tasted here suited our palate.
Thang T — Google review
Really looked forward to the visit from the good recommendations here! But got really disappointed from the service. Barely an hi on arrival. Tried the wine tasting, got no info about the wines even when we had questions, the waiter didn’t even show us the label. Wine were good, the food OK. Wouldn’t go back because of the tired staff. Such a disappointment.

So fun. Service was excellent, our waitress made fantastic recommendations. Instantly understood our preferences and tailored choices to us perfectly. Cool view down a narrow alley, to the water and mountain beyond. Loved it!

Restaurant
Restoran Radiona is a charming restaurant located just a few steps away from Korcula's old town. Despite having a small menu, the food is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable about both the food and wine. The dining terrace offers lovely views of the marina, making it a perfect spot for a delightful meal. Visitors highly recommend trying their slow-cooked lamb shank or beef tartare served with toasted home-baked bread.
We had an incredible dinner here tonight! The beef tartare was delicious, served with toasted home baked bread. The prawns in olive oil, garlic and chillies were cooked to perfection - delicious! My husband had the steak which was very tasty and our friend had the gnocchi with wild boar - so good! Service was excellent! Highly recommend this place if you’re in Korčula! You won’t be disappointed!

The waiter was very polite and professional, the view from the terrace amazing. I had black risotto and am not impressed, it was too watery and could have been cooked a bit longer, was sort of bland. The bill was 34 euors, I had a glass of wine with the risotto. Price vs food quality (at least the meal I had) does not match.

Just a few steps out of Korčula's old town, there is a nice restaurant with a very kind personal. Even thought their menu is "short", the food is very good. Don't let a group of people in front of restaurant distract your from visiting this restaurant ( note for the restaurant: this is not ok!) It pays off to walk some minutes out of old town and eat properly.
Tadej S — Google review
we ordered squid with chard, the squid was tough to chew and not fresh, after which we ended up with stomach aches. We complained to the waiter about the squid after he said "squid has to be a bit tough" Do not recommend.
Ivan B — Google review
Small menu but the food is really excellent and the staff are knowledgeable on the food and wine. Nice views of the marina from their dining terrace. Had the slow cooked lamb shank, my wife had the chicken. 4 glasses of Posip, a bottle of water and a desert to share. Total bill was 575 Kuna (About £70). Very reasonable. You would pay 2x that in Korcula which is only a short walk away.

Unbelievable food and absolutely exceptional service. We had the tuna tartar, beef tartar, ragu with gnochi, tuna steak, prawn rissotto, chocolate suflé and something special they prepared just for us as we had a vegetarian among us. Everything was amazing and the waiter was extremely friendly and professional doing everything possible to make us happy. Would recommend to anybody visiting Korcula.

Charming restaurant by the marina. The cuisine was exquisite. We also paired our courses with posip and grk, white wines that are famous and produced in the Dalmatian region. I highly recommend trying the sea bream salad as a starter. Portions were generous; I suggest ordering an app and a main course to share between two people. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and the service was superb. Thank you for a pleasing dining experience, especially on our last evening in Korcula!

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Pupnatska Luka Beach. Not quite as popular as Saint Mark's Cathedral, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Beaches
Pupnatska Luka Beach is a charming small pebble beach nestled in the bay of Pupnatska Luka. Its crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming, and the picturesque views from the shoreline are equally delightful. The beach offers amenities such as chair and kayak rentals, portable toilets, and various restaurants in the bay. Situated just 15 kilometers away from Korcula Town, it's a popular choice for families.
Amazing place. Parking for 10 euro per day . 2 or even 3 places to eat and drink. 30 euro a day for sun beds and umbrella. A bit of a scary drive going down and up , but 1000% worth visiting. To make it easier to get to the beach go up a little bit from the stairs and there is a little path.
Euromy2005 — Google review
Very nice and clean beach with a gorgeous view and colours, water is crystal clear and great for scuba diving/snorkling. Pebble beach, so swimming shoes and a comfy sun mattress are recommended. The drive is an interesting experience, down a long and narrow-cornered way but safe when driven carefully. Be aware for other cars coming, not too many spots for passing by. Lots of parking space, different costs depending on the area you park, it's 7-10 euros for the whole day. Quite an easy access down to the beach. The first you find are stairs going down, but there is also a concrete ramp further along the way that leads to the beach. I recommend to come earlier for best spots, the beach gets quite crowded along the day and the beach is appearently popular among families (not maybe the most quiet spot therefore) and is kid friendly. Sun decks and parasol cost 25 euros, if wanted. The beach has two restaurants, we visited the beach twice and tested both of them. Each different, but both very nice and offer good food.
Erika T — Google review
This beach is a drive down a windy long road, but worth it. We arrived from the new road which is gravelly, parked up early at 9.30 at the front had got some beds on the beach. It’s €7 for parking not €10 anymore and €25 per twin beds and a brolly, that’s if you want them, there is space to sit on the beach for no cost(other than parking). We liked it as it had a nice restaurant and could spend all day here without faffing on bringing packed lunch. The beach and sea and views are worth it. The small boats pull up and there is plenty of space for a SUP board. Water shoes are useful not necessarily needed, but next time I would bring a comfy mattress for the wooden slatted beds, they are not the comfiest. I give it a four, a little harsh really we visited twice during our stay and I would go back but 6 of us for beds is costly and the meal was great first time and average the second. The beach though I love.
Nicola P — Google review
Easy access with car, steps to beach nice access, beach is with small to medium stones and sand at moments but reare. 4 is overated but due to natural beauties I need to leave 4. From the moment you come to beach steps guy takes 10 eur for parking, after that they charge 30 eur for beach seat for seating and sun protection "optional"... but most of beach is covered with this sets. Not good is nature behing your back not even tried to look clean and tidy with no trash bucket on whole beach. My question is if you are selling drinks food sun sets and charging parking why somebody is not responsible for putting trash bin in and clean it on daily basis
Ivan L — Google review
Perfect beach with clear blue water, not too crowded. Has a couple restaurants and the option to pay for sunbeds (around 30 euros for 2). Easy to park a car and access the beach too. Only improvement is that the parking is 10 euros, which is ridiculous for a Public beach. Other beaches in the island also have parking, but for free.
Camila G — Google review
Great beach to spend the day at. I highly recommend bringing goggles and a snorkel to view all of the fish and sea life. By the rocks at the side there are very colourful fish. There's a Pepper & Choco gelato stand which is open until around 18:00 (around sunset). There is ample parking as well as a beach bar and a restaurant. Great for the family.
Ava J — Google review
Beautiful nature, nice pebble beach, clear water, not overly crowded even now end of July. Parking available for 8 or 10 Euros (depending on how close you park).
Johan D — Google review
The beach is big and water is very clear. In september it's not that busy.Umbrellas and sun laungers are 30€... There are 3 parking spots the longest walk is 8€/day medium 10€/day and the closest one is 7€/day.

Church of St. Anthony is situated outside the old town on a small hill, accessible via 101 steep steps flanked by cypress trees. The church boasts a harmonious blend of traditional and modern architecture, seamlessly integrating with its natural surroundings to create a serene ambiance. While the views from the top may be partially obscured by trees, visitors can still enjoy picturesque scenes of the island, bay, city, and mountains in the background.
Beautiful church and very calm atmosphere overall. And a beautiful sight of Badija island when you go around the church.

Sonia M — Google review
A beautiful church on a top of a hill, that you need to climb 101 steps to reach it but is worth it. The peace and quite of the place makes all worthwhile. The scenic views over the Adriatic and the small Isles are amazing. The cypress trees that lined the route to the church are protected.
Kypriopoulla — Google review
Long stairs up the hill with cypress trees on each side. Small Church on top with a circle walkway around the grounds. Great view all around of the bay, city and mountains in the background. If you know the game Myst, that's how it feels like to be there in real life. Especially when the sun is shining through the trees casting shadows on to the whole scene.
Avgas&altitude — Google review
Not a ton to see here, just a quaint old church. And the views are mostly locked by trees. It was closed to enter when we went but you can still look inside through the gate. The view up/down the stairs is pretty though.

A calm place, nice for an evening walk. Stairway to heaven could be one association. Nice view on the Badija island from up there.

Wonderful place with shade of cypress alley especially in the noon, the church is small very authentic and you can take a look at the inside

Great place to visit. There’s a few parking spaces at the bottom. It’s a great flight of steps up to the small chapel (locked) at the top. Views from the top largely obscured by trees but still worth the climb up.

If you're looking for a convenient and scenic way to explore the stunning islands around Korcula, look no further than Taxi Boat Korcula. This water taxi service offers frequent trips from Port 9 to the charming city center of Korcula, making it easy to hop between various destinations like Badija, Vrnik, and Lumbarda. While experiences with drivers can vary—some are professional and friendly while others may not meet expectations—the overall service is reliable.
I took these taxi boats many times while staying on Korcula. Went to Badija many times and also all the other stops. Super convenient, and a beautiful ride. Captains were always great, and boats come every few minutes. I wish they offered a discounted weekly pass or 10-trip or something- next time I’ll ask about that 🤩
Rosa R — Google review
Boat goes twice every hour to three destinations. You can purchase a day pass for 20 euros for island hopping or pick your destination. Payment in cash only
Elle F — Google review
The €20 round-trip ticket covers three destinations, but I found the two islands rather dull. It would be a more memorable and interactive experience if there were more signage or an information center to introduce the places we are visiting. Lumbarda is definitely worth a visit—it has a few sandy beaches and a beautiful coastline you can explore on foot ~
N W — Google review
Great experience! Very nice and punctual. We used it for transfer to our hotel (korcula old town to port 9, 3€pp) as well as a full day tour (20€ pp) to visit two islands as well as lumbardia. All worked great even with our big luggage items.
Günther N — Google review
Very convenient taxi boat, can't fault them with anything. They were there on time each time, efficient a d super convenient (I got the daily pass). The islands are beautiful however without many amenities. I've heard tourists complain, expecting restort beaches I guess. 5* for the taxi co.pany though.

Sweets and dessert buffet
Aurora Sweets is a popular spot in Korcula, offering a variety of vegan and plant-based options. Visitors appreciate the availability of vegan cakes and plant-based milk, making it a standout choice in the area. The cafe's offerings include delectable treats like vegan chocolate ganache and choco&mint cake, which have received high praise for their taste and quality. Additionally, the establishment's friendly service and picturesque sea view add to its appeal.
Best place in Korčula for a healthy (and vegan friendly) breakfast, and for vegan or GF treats. I really enjoyed the açaí bowl (one of the best I’ve had. Great flavor, real açaí, and not too sweet) and their overnight oats (really tasty and with lots of fruit, though I don’t see the point of using plant based milk in them if they will also use normal yogurt so that it doesn’t end up being dairy free). I also tried the vegan raw carrot cake and chocolate ganache cake. I’m not a fan of raw desserts, but these were amongst the best I’d tried. If they had been less sweet they would have been fantastic. The one thing to avoid is the coffee—I had a cappuccino with soy milk and it was amongst the worst coffees I’ve ever had. It just tasted bitter and burnt. Service is very friendly. Also worth noting that they only have vegan options for breakfast. Their lunch menu has no vegan options.
Tamara — Google review
The food was amazing. The cocktail exceeded all my expectations, I will definitely be back. Nice atmosphere and very friendly waitress.
Antonia P — Google review
Lovely açaí bowl and granola selections. Such a relief after never ending breakfast buffets of eggs and bread. Made me a perfect double Americano. Pricey but the view from the table is unbeatable.
Robyn B — Google review
We have been here 3 times in 4 days (eventhough the place is a but pricey) as they have vegan cakes and plant-based milk. Only cafe in Corcula or at least we have not found another one. I tried vegan chocolate ganache and choco&mint cake, both very good. Choco ganache was my absolute favourite. Not too sweet but tasty. Smoothies are good, too. Service was friendly, a bit slow if they are busy but we did not mind, since the view is great.
Mariann B — Google review
Only plant base milk in town. Love the vegan lemon cake. The cake is very delicious but price is high. However it’s worth of the money.
Penporn N — Google review
The homemade cakes are crazy delicious, so full of taste, chocolaty-creamy, we enjoyed it very much, despite the fact it was pretty expensive. And the staff is very well mannered, you feel they love their job and are glad to help or suggest what is good on the menu.
Daniel — Google review
Tasty breakfast choices also with vegan and vegetarian options! We had the overnight oats which was AMAZING!!! And the Cheesecake which met our standards 😁💪everything was delicious and the service was great! Very polite personnel with clean kitchen and very nice view by the sea!
Vas E — Google review
Plenty of vegan options here and a must visit when in Korčula. We actually came here twice in one day! We got the açai bowl for breakfast and when we asked if it was vegan, the staff informed us that the granola has honey in it and that they could make it with oats instead. Great that they are aware of this! Great coffee with oat milk too! The cakes which are vegan are all clearly marked and so the only thing I can say is that it would be great if a symbol could be added to the food menu too so that you can know for certain which items are vegan.

Aurora is a stunning seaside spot in Croatia that offers top-notch coffee, delectable homemade cakes and sweets, as well as outstanding breakfast and lunch options. The restaurant's Quinoa bread and passionfruit-coconut cake are particularly addictive. Visitors rave about the quality of the food, with highlights including the sensational Adriatic Grilled Octopus and other mouthwatering dishes like ceviche, tuna tartar, steak, and more.
What an amazing restaurant, staff are amazing food is fantastic. We started with a cosmopolitan and a martini, best martini I have had. We then had the seafood ravioli and the octopus as main courses. Both were astounding, the octopus was the best I have had and the ravioli which my wife had was parcels of heaven. Accompanied with bread from the gods. We asked for a glass of white wine to accompany our dinner and the waitress brought two different glasses for us to try, they were spot on and a great accompaniment to our dishes. Our dessert was strawberry galette and stuffed dates, both were exceptional. Thank you to the staff for a delicious meal with a great setting and attention to detail. Highly recommended.

Couldn't ask for a better dinner for our one night on Korčula. The dalmatian platter was so yummy and our server was super attentive and kind. Also got the duck and pork chop. Chop was a bit dry.
Simona K — Google review
Very beautiful ambiance right by the sea (photo). Friendly service and a good selection of seafood. However, it's highly recommended to make a reservation, as we only got our table by sheer luck. The only downside for the food star is that there was a hair in our food, which naturally spoiled the appetite a bit. Overall, though, we're very satisfied.
Leonas K — Google review
Location and atmosphere made this dinner unforgettable. The view overlooking the island is simply breathtaking and sets the perfect backdrop for a special evening. Service was excellent — Mikelina looked after us so well, and her recommendations were spot on. The cocktails were first class, and it was such a treat to finally enjoy a perfectly made dirty martini after searching throughout our travels. The food was equally impressive. We started with the pulled pork kroketi, bursting with flavor, followed by beautifully presented mains: macaroni with beef and crispy chicken. Both dishes were plated with care and tasted just as good as they looked. As I said at the start — location, location, location; atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere. We absolutely loved our meal here and would highly recommend Aurora to anyone visiting

Seafood macaroni was tasteless, too much sauce/watery. Had to ask for grated cheese to be able to eat. Raspberry cake was hard, as if frozen, texture and taste both bad. Price and experience was totally not worth it. Beautiful view, but shame on the preparation.

Like every other place for essentially junk food in hipstery setup, the food is juicy enough and crowd pleasing. I did expected more quality ingredients considering Maha reputation and considering a bit exuberant prices. The waiter was great though, naturaly friendly but still very professional.

Friendly service and good burger. For 18€ I would expect the best smash burger ever though, the bread was great but the meat could have more Maillard reaction. Fries (in this case potatoes) start at 7€, also quite steeply priced. I’d give 5 stars for slightly better value.

Very good, had the chicken tacos / pulled pork wrap, delicious, roast beef salad (suggest asking for mayo on side), had a smash burger; for gluten free - just did it on a bed of salad, burger was dense very good!!

Even though there was a bit of a wait (the place is clearly popular) our server Nikola was so friendly and funny, and checked in on us, letting us know things were running a little slower than usual. But wow, it was worth it. For our last night in Korčula, we had the pulled pork, chicken, and original burgers, along with the truffle fries, and the flavours were incredible. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. You really can’t go wrong for your dinner here!

Konoba Maslina is a renowned restaurant located near the waterfront, popular with locals and offering delicious homemade dishes and local delicacies. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a fantastic selection of local wine and beer, making it family-friendly. Despite its unassuming exterior, it offers hearty Dalmatian staples such as homemade pasta, seafood, grilled meats, and pogacice puff-pastry rolls.
We (2 adults, 2 youngsters) were at the „Konoba Maslina“ for a lunch before visiting Korčula town. We enjoyed very good food and very good service - the waiter even spoke very good German. We had Cevapi andPasta and Salads which were all of excellent quality. Together with the main dishes came a very tasty self made bread straight from the oven. For the Ambiente I give only three stars which is not a complaint but one needs to be fair to those restaurants directly at the beach…

This used to be a good restaurant 2-3 years ago. Now the portions are small, they are stingy even with french fries and calamari from the freezer. Greasy Vienna schnitzel was not tasty. It's a shame because the average adult person will left hungry. They are the only ones in area that work in winter, so they will have guests anyway. We hope that they will improve the quality and portions.

A pleasant 30ish minute walk from the old town, this place feels local and friendly. The portions are on the larger size that are full of favour. The fresh salad and house wines also both good. Great to get out of the centre and experience something a little more authentically Croatian. The puff bread things they bring to begin with are hard to stop eating!

We have heard from our friends about this restaurant a long time before we even came to Korčula. We were more than eager to try this traditional Croatian food. It certainly met all of our expectations which were very high right from the start. Everything was so deliciously, prepared with diligence and lots of details. You could taste authentic home made kitchen. The stuff was very friendly and fast. They gladly explained us everything and even more than that. We will definitely return to this place and recommend to all of our friends.

Day 3

Southeast side of town
For day 3, we recommend exploring the southeast side side of town. Start the day off with Vela Przina Beach, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Vrnik Arts Club. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Vela Przina Beach is a popular sandy beach located in the village of Lumbarda on Korcula Island. It boasts fine golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, making it an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking. The beach faces south, allowing visitors to enjoy ample sunshine and dry weather. While there is a parking lot available for a fee, the entire beach offers soft sand both onshore and in the sea.
Nice beach where you can walk out really far. Beware the slippery rocks. There were a lot of families in the late afternoon, but it was not crowded. There are a couple beach bars.

A wonderful unpretentious beach. Great for chilling all day long and the beach bar is a must visit
Ed P — Google review
Beautiful beach with clear water and sandy! There is not much shadow, you can rent parasol for 7€ or sunbed 7€. When you arrive try to drive further to the beach there is a free parking instead of the guy who stop you at the entrance for ticket, feel like a scammer
Thao J — Google review
A beautiful sandy beach near Lumbarda on the island of Korčula. There is a parking lot on the beach, which costs EUR 5 for the whole day. The entire beach is sandy and there is also sand in the sea. There is no shade, so it is not very pleasant to be on the beach without a deckchair and an umbrella (5 EUR for a deckchair and an umbrella). There is also a bar/tavern on the beach so you can refresh yourself with a cold drink. The bay is beautiful, but due to the aforementioned sand and shallows, the beach is more suitable for families with children and is therefore quite visited.
Hrvoje H — Google review
Of all the beaches I visited on the island, this was the most underwhelming. The water was a bit murky—likely because it’s a sandy beach—especially compared to the crystal-clear stone coves nearby. I actually ended up leaving and swimming at the local town beach instead, which was much nicer. That said, it could be great for families with young kids who want to play in the sand. There’s plenty of parking, and I didn’t spot any sea urchins, which is a plus. But if you have a car, I’d recommend heading to another cove.

After a week of rocky beaches I was so happy to find a sandy beach. This beach was lovely, clean and plenty of space. There is no shade but you can rent umbrellas for 7 euro with a friendly guy to help you set it up. The water was clear and refreshing. There is a also a pavilion that serves food and drink if you fancy (I didn't go here so can't comment on the quality). There are also toilet facilities here. I walked here from the bus which was a small mission but it was worth it! There appeared to be plenty of parking options if you were driving.

One of the most popular beaches, cos it's sandy and a 15 mn ride from old town. Very easy going. Long chairs and parasol on the expensive side (7 € each) so better come equipped

Really beautiful and clean beach. Road down could be tricky if you’re having trouble walking, good shoes is needed also bring swimming shoes! Cute little kiosk with water/ beer etc. Good and cheap sunbeds/ umbrellas to borrow, 10E for two beds and an umbrella.

Beach
Bilin Zal Beach is a small but charming local beach with soft sand and clear turquoise waters. Despite its size, it offers stunning views of the Peljesac Peninsula, making it a favorite spot for many visitors. Accessible by foot from Vela Przina or Lumbarda, this picturesque beach is perfect for enjoying the scenery or grabbing a drink at the nearby konoba.
This place, which is completely local, has an extremely nice presentation and service. I recommend it to everyone who really wants to taste local places. The food is delicious, the beer varieties are good, it is right by the sea and you can jump in the sea before or after your meal. I especially thank the lady who serves. She adds an extra beauty to this place.
Selim T — Google review
A nice sandy beach with few facilities. It can be reached by public bus in about 20 minutes from Korcula followed by a 5 minute walk. There is a reasonable large car park. It has a relatively nice view. I had read elsewhere that it was good for snorkeling but was a bit disappointed as not much to see.
Neil B — Google review
Perfect little spot in Lumbarda, Korcula. Sandy beach, which was perfect for kids, it is an easy slope into the deep about 15/20m before it’s a bit deeper for the kids. I highly recommend this place while staying on the island.
Cameron A — Google review
The reason I like this beach is simple - it’s great for kids as you are not worried for any accident - they can walk for almost 100m and still they can touch ground. 2nd reason - water is clean and it has sand in which, surprisingly does not make water dirty. 3rd reason is that you can snorkel but you have to go over border for swimmers which is dangerous, but i saw many mussels and also 2 octopus. 4th reason is bar at the beach - it’s just great, especially staff there is really nice and prices are normal for 2021
Ales K — Google review
Very beautiful and secluded, but the beach itself is very very small with very limited sandy spots to lay a towel. Also there is only one small vendor on this side of the peninsula for drinks/food. A little difficult to find on bike as well.
Kathryn K — Google review
Nice sandy beach a bit cowded. Sunbeds and parasols at 6 euro!! Bar and toilets available. Nice undeep water with sandy bottom great for kids!

Clear water and clean sand. Good beach overall

An interesting sandy beach. It was okay, but not astonishing. Be prepared that there is no shade there (parasols can be rented). The parking at the beach costs EUR 5.

Lovrić Winery, located in the charming village of Smokvica, is a delightful family-operated establishment renowned for its exceptional local wines. Specializing in Posip, Grk, and Rukatac varieties, this winery offers visitors the chance to partake in wine tastings and tours while learning about the art of winemaking amidst picturesque surroundings. The intimate setting and personalized touch make it a must-visit destination for those seeking an authentic wine experience.
We popped into this small family owned winery after a day relaxing on the beach. We had the flight of 4 which was very reasonable at only €13/p. It was so delicious we had to buy two bottles at the end. The best part was hearing about the ancient family history in the area and the history of wine on Korčula, very interesting and beautiful. I would return in a heartbeat

This has quickly become one of my favourite spots in Lumbarda. They have a wonderful selection of homemade white wines, the kind you don’t just stumble upon anywhere. Marin and Ante are genuinely kind and always happy to recommend something based on what you like. I’ve left with wines that became instant favourites. If you’re in the mood for a fresh and light white, try the Pošip. And if you want something truly unique, go for the Prezenca, it’s unforgettable.
Blanka O — Google review
Really nice family run winery. Owner gave us an overview of their wines and some history. Fast friendly service. Great chance to taste different wines including the local grk. We did the wine tasting and all the wines were quite smooth and unique in flavor. Really pleasant quiet vibe with great views of the water and city, shaded with a light breeze and relaxed pace.

We had a great time at Lovrić Winery in Korčula. The guide was really knowledgeable and gave us lots of insight into the local grapes, how the wines are made, and what makes them unique Croatian wines. The setting is beautiful, the wines were lovely, and the service was warm and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re around Lumbarda!

Bire Winery, a family-owned establishment in Lumbarda, has a rich tradition of winemaking and offers wine tastings and tours. Visitors can enjoy sampling a variety of wines, including Posip and other local varietals, amidst the beautiful vineyards. The winery is known for its scenic location. Guests have praised the professional sommelier who explained the winemaking process during their tasting experience.
If you are looking for a winery! This is the spot! Absolutely stunning architecture. Very clean. Both inside and outside seating. The wine tasting is very good with the snack plate.
J-Kube — Google review
They have three different tasting options, 2, 3, 4 different wines and with a very nice snack selection, including meats, cheeses, toast, marmalde, olives, tomatoes. All the wines were very nice. We particularly liked the sparkling rose and Grk. It is a steep walk from the harbor shoreline. They have parking as well.
John J — Google review
We had a really nice time today, even visiting the winery with our six-month-old baby. The staff were very friendly and one of the brothers ( JOSIP) took the time to explain many details about the wine, which we really appreciated. This time we couldn’t stay long because we were with the baby, but everything was great. Just a small note for future visitors: they accept cash only . There are many narrow one-way streets—so just make sure to find the right street to get there. They open from 2 p.m. and while you don’t need a reservation, it’s a good idea to call ahead because it got quite busy while we were there. Everything was really good and we even bought a bottle of their white wine to take home.
Ivana P — Google review
Bire Winery, in Lumbarda, is a family owned winery. One son was presenting/serving the tastings, outside on the terraces, another son working inside in the bar area, and some of the items on the available tasty snack plate were homemade by their mom. Be sure to get the snack plate. I was on foot, coming from the water taxi between Korčula, and had limited time, so unfortunately could only go to one winery in the area. I was very glad I went to Bire. I enjoyed the whole experience, and ending up buying a bottle of all three of the wines 🍷 I tasted (Rose, Grk & Plavac), which were reasonably priced. Do note they only take cash. I was a few € short, after digging through my pockets & wallet, and they graciously said “no problem, don’t worry about it.” ❤️🇭🇷
John P — Google review
Local, not crowded, but still popular. We were 6 people trying Sparkling, Rose, Grk and Plava. Interesting stories about the wine production in the family winery. We liked all four wines, so we bought several bottles to bring back home.
Thomas N — Google review
Unforgettable experience and wine quality. We left the winery with 7 bottles to take home. 4 wines in total, each wine is precise, elegant and well rounded. The snack plate was divine as well and paired perfectly with the wine selection. Their star wine is Grk, a local variety which they brought to perfection. You can purchase only 2 bottles as they have limited quantity and it's in high demand. Fully recommended, do enjoy the experience!
Sanja S — Google review
Was really looking forward to visiting this winery, but we had a horrible experience! The only staff member there was so rude and abrupt! The place was empty and he pretty much kicked us out. We asked if we could buy two bottles to enjoy at the winery and he yelled at us and said: you either taste or leave. Horrible experience!
Mayra S — Google review
Fun 90 kuna deal for 4 different wines; rosé, white, red and dessert all dry except the last one which was half sweet. Definitely a worthwhile visit! The wines were nice but all of them were rather tame (had the same style). They did give a nice little explanation and answered our questions about the wines. They seem to be into their craft. The scenery (a little garden) is very beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

Restaurant
Vrnik Arts Club, situated in the serene island of Vrnik within Korculas archipelago, exudes a relaxed atmosphere. Its town beach features vibrant hues and small pebbles, making it a tough choice between basking under the sun or admiring the turquoise waters from the docks. The restaurant, housed in a converted old school building, boasts a tranquil terrace where guests can savor delectable cuisine.
Had an amazing experience at Vrnik Arts Club! The food was amazing but the service even better. We came with two little kids (toddler and a baby) and were not the easiest guests but the service exceeded any expectations. Will definitely be back!

Rating for the restaurant. Phenomenal experience being greeted from the dock to table. We had Amber Jack and lobster. Pretty excellent meal, albeit overpriced. Highly recommend if cost isn't an issue.

Stopped for coffee whilst island hopping. Had to look for someone to serve us but they were polite and happily served us coffee at a table. Great location would have stayed for lunch if the timing had been right
Tracey A — Google review
My girlfriend and I visited the only restaurant on the island, hoping to enjoy a cold drink. Unfortunately, we were told that we couldn’t be served at the restaurant because the tables were reserved only for guests who were eating. What surprised us most was that the terrace was completely empty, with around 20 tables available. Only half of them were set for dining, while the other half wasn’t even prepared — that’s where we sat down, thinking it wouldn’t be a problem just to have a drink. Still, the staff insisted that they will take our order only in the beach. There were a few small tables on the beach, but they were in direct sun with no shade. The only other option was to sit on the ground in the sand, in the shade. Neither of these felt like a comfortable or welcoming alternative, especially considering how empty the restaurant was. Overall, we were quite disappointed by the lack of flexibility and hospitality. It felt like they had no interest in serving us unless we ordered food. Also they were realy rude (owner and the staff).
Blaž P — Google review
We did’t stay at the hotel but the restaurant has the best pasta IN THE WORLD. I’m not exaggerating: the black ink monk fish pasta is mind blowing. Will miss it every day forever.
Bob J — Google review
In line with other reviews, this place comes off as a pretentious trap catering only to those ready to cough up the doughs. We fancied a drink and asked the waiter if that was possible. He said yes and showed us to a table, though clearly unwilling. It already felt awkward, but we sat down since we'd gotten into the troubles of asking. From the start, the waiter made a noticeable effort to make us feel unwelcome — no menus were offered, even when I asked to look at the drinks menus, being told there was only the house option. No price announced. Unfortunately, it was undrinkable. We left one glass completely full. We ended up cutting it short and asked for the bill. I was asked whether I’d pay by card or cash; I said card. Shocked to be told the price was €20 — for two glasses of bad wine - I ended up paying cash instead. I was welcomed by an angry look from the waiter who complained that I’d said card in the first place. I’m not sure what the difference was for him, as this didn’t involve any more effort on his part. Unacceptable to be treated that way. Just say no if you’ can’t be bothered! Avoid this place at all costs - you’ll be mocked and looked down at if you don’t have the looks of a big fish ready to be scammed (we were literally mocked by another waitress throughout the whole time we sat there). Also - what’s it got to do with arts? They simply mastered the arts of being unbearably disrespectful.
Laetitia M — Google review
Id say CHECK EVERY TAXI BOAT THAT ARRIVES AT THE PIER because their timetable is not accurate - our boat come 15 minutes early and we didn’t know so end up waiting another half an hour for the next boat. That’s why we end up have a drink here. They say they do not have drinks menu so we pay whatever they say the price is. A small local beer: €6.
N W — Google review
Prices change depending on who serves you, they will not give you menu or tell you prices, they add things to your bill that you did not get. Be careful!

Konoba MORE is an exquisite seaside restaurant that offers delightful cuisine, generous portions, and friendly service. The dishes are superbly prepared, including tomato salad, cabbage salad, sea bass with potatoes and chard, and seafood risotto. The ambiance is truly captivating as it overlooks the sea and creates a wonderful atmosphere. Although the overhead fans need fixing to address the heat issue, the staff remains incredibly welcoming. The view is stunning and the food quality is exceptional.
My family and I came here a couple nights ago and had a great meal. The fresh grouper was delicious, as well as the calamari and shark. The restaurant is family owned and operated, and everyone was so nice. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. Highly recommend!

One of the best locations for a restaurant. Sitting on the terrace, looking at the small fishes swimming right next to the table. Very beautiful atmosphere. Food was good but not exceptional. Nothing to complain about though because overall the experience was great. And price was reasonable.

Do not skip this restaurant!! Incredible seafood, right on the water with a beautiful view. We ordered a bottle of local wine from a winery in Korcula, mussels (best mussels I've ever had!) and a grilled fish platter that was delicious. The waiter was also very patient and kind when we asked his help with cleaning the fish! A lovely afternoon.

We had one ofour best meals at this restaurant. We have ordered a black ink risotto with seafood and it was delicious. The dish it was so tasty and it had the flavours of the sea, and there was so much seafood in it. We also had the fish soup which again it was tasty and freshly made. The octopus salad it was another hit at this place. Also they have brought us bored as a complimentary treat. Service was attentive, friendly and staff very helpful. Stoped at this place based on the recommendations of google maps, and couldn’t be happier about the food we had there. I tried the black risotto and the octopus salad. We stopped by for lunch during our Korcula private boat excursion. We were warmly welcomed and served quick. This place has been the highlight of our trip so far!! We only just touched the tips of the menu for lunch. Had prawns in garlic and parsley, fried anchovy and homemade olive bread, with Greek salad. Just spectacular. The beautiful view might as well be an afterthought because it’s just so perfect. Theodora looked after us at lunch and she is just a lovely waitress. Will be back at least once more to try the main courses. Grilled whole squid and Scampi sounds lovely.

I have been wanting to send in my good thoughts and wishes to this lovely restaurant! Forgive me for taking so long as we visited three years ago! We were able to walk to this lovely place and initially we were seated at the last table & it was SO BIG!! 😂 We sat and ordered wine chuckling at how long our table was for two people. The waitress asked if we minded her seating another couple at the other end. Of course we did not mind and we made friends with this wonderful couple from Slovenia. We have over the last three years kept in touch with these fine people and rejoiced when their first & then 2nd baby was born! Last year we spent 10 days in Slovenia and several of those days with them!! Had we not met them at your restaurant this would have never happened!! Great Food!! Wine!! Service and above all the memories that began there and continue to this day!! Thank you

Outrageous prices. And you are charged 3.50 euro each for the place setting. 9 euro for a bottle of water! Whilst I understand its the only restaurant on an idyllic island...the prices are insane and the choice extremely limited. Nothing on the menu for children at all. Charge crazy prices if you want...but then perhaps have an option of something affordable for younger kids.

An experience of a lifetime! last day we finally had the opportunity to enjoy the experience in Croatia. Everything was perfect. I can highly recommend this restaurant. I use the term experience because at Moro Beach Stupe is so much more than just a place for Lunch . It’s a treat for the senses. A playful and interactive show put on by some of the most friendly, fun and thoughtful restaurant staff I have ever encountered. Lunch at Moro Beach will surprise and captivate you throughout the three hour meal with some of the best local vine from Pelješac . They’ve perfected it and have thought of everything, from the food to the service. As an example, The staff at Moro Beach not only booked us a reservation but called us a fancy Boat from Korcula to the Magical Island where is the Restaurant. The Service there was amazing, the Food is really really high End as well. Fresh fish and even some food was prepared live infront of us from Chef Who is amazing. The whole experience was magical and I can only hope to return some day to see what they’ve thought of next. Thank you to all the amazing staff at Moro Beach.🫶😍

Amazing beach bar with outstanding service! The staff were incredibly friendly and full of good energy. They immediately noticed my injured wrist and brought ice without hesitation, regularly checking in to see how I was feeling. They even packed some ice for me to take on my way back to the island. So thoughtful and helpful – highly recommended! ❤️

We were on a boat in Croatia and stopped by here for lunch. Food was amazing and the seafood in particular was so fresh and good! Expect to also have fun. They have a DJ and dancers for entertainment. We were a large group of 20 and they looked after us so well.

The place is beautiful, the setting of he restaurant is amazing. The service and attention is great. Guests seemed to have a great time there. I'm putting 2 stars as it has been one of the worst Aperol Spritz that I've tried. The price was 15 euros for watery drink, plus you are more or less forced to leave at least 15% tip if you pay by card. If the Aperol would be great it would be 5 stars despite the price, just for the setting.
Galina D — Google review
Food was excellent, as was the entertainment. Was there from 2 till 7 roughly and Nikola took care of our table excellently. Most impressively he didn’t need to write our order down, remembered all our orders off the top of his head. 10/10 would recommend to anyone
Edward P — Google review
Eh, a bit disappointed. No DJ, sax or dancers/performances. There was no drink service to the beach chairs (that they are charging $25/chair for). There is a $200 minimum spend for the daybeds which isn’t too bad but after spending nearly $300 they still charged us for the chairs despite it being completely empty when we arrived and still plenty of unused chair at the end of the day. It’s pretty and unique but very overpriced and underwhelming service unfortunately.

Badija

Island
Badija is a charming island known for its beaches and picturesque views. It is home to a 14th-century Franciscan monastery, adding historical allure to its natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy interacting with the island's deer and exploring the clean beaches. While some feel that the beaches are not exceptional, others appreciate the serene atmosphere and crystal-clear waters for swimming. The island offers limited amenities, such as a cafe that operates seasonally and basic facilities like toilets.
This place is like heaven on earth. Although there are many people, it doesn’t feel crowded, there’s enough space for everyone. We arrived on our sup, which was an amazing experience too. If you enjoy an active holiday, I recommend to park your car near the 'Last Chance' cafe. There’s a nice, clean spot where you can set up a sup or kayak and start your adventure. Your first stop can be Otok Vrnik, which is very close, then the small island of Kanjemnjak, then Otocic Planjak Island. Finally, you'll come across the beautiful Badija Island with its monastery. The beach stretches along the entire island, making it easy to park your sup and relax. Be sure to take a walk - there's no way you'll miss a Bambi!
Sally P — Google review
We visited Badija Island during our stay in Korčula and while it wasn’t a bad experience, I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. To get there, you’ll take a water taxi from the pier next to the main ferry stop — it’s €10 round trip, cash only, and about a 20-minute ride. The process is easy and scenic, but keep in mind there’s not a lot happening once you arrive. The island is mostly enjoyed by locals sunbathing along the rocky coast, which is nice if you’re looking to relax and swim. But beyond that, there’s not much sightseeing. There’s a small monastery (€7 entry), a single restaurant, and a tiny shop with drinks, ice cream, and other basics. We had hoped to see the island’s famous deer, but in August, likely due to the heat, we only came across one. Overall, it’s a peaceful spot for sun and sea, but if you’re looking for adventure, history, or wildlife, you might be underwhelmed.
Melanie J — Google review
This island is worth the visit. Accessible from the main ferry port, it takes around 20 minutes to reach. Once there, we were so lucky to see the deers!! We then visited the monastery and checked several beaches. It was a nice day spent walking and exploring ☺️
Lamis G — Google review
it is an oasis of peace in which to take a nice moment to breathe naturalness, you will also meet free fawns that approach us very tenderly. a piece of advice, don't feed them, because otherwise we will deprive them of their hunting essence...
Tiziana A — Google review
Yes, there are few deers, beautiful pebble baches and great water. The 1 star is just to make an attention call about the waste, rubble and scrap that is few meters away from the beach, just to avoid having to take it to an authorized landfill on the peninsula. If Croatia wants EU funds, the country shall act as an EU state. PD: The only island good looking buildings are a small bar and the monastery, so the waste has few possible origins....
Ivan — Google review
Lovely walk around the entire island. Beautiful sea views and swimming in crystal clear waters. Cafe is only open in season.
P D — Google review
My favourite place to swim in Croatia. You get a beautiful view of nearbly islands and the peninsula. The water is very warm. You ideally need sea shoes though. I got the water taxi from Korcula (20 euros to hop on / hop off as much as you like) and also stops at Lumbarda and Vrnik Island.
Rachel J — Google review
Hard to understand why this is a destination. It is photogenic, there are deer, the waters are spectacular in colour BUT swimming is challenging with sea urchin infestation. Abandoned sports amenities give it a dystopian feel, once again great for photos. Adding to the dystopian feel large signs announce that FKK is forbidden. Such an amazing place;)

Aquaculture farm
OPG Komparak is an agricultural farm located on the outskirts of Korcula town, offering a unique experience to taste local treats such as honey, olive oil, jams, and preserves. Visitors can explore the beehives, plants, and olive trees on the farm and visit their store to purchase these products. The farm also provides guided tours where guests can learn about the traditional process of making honey, olive oil, and gin with a zero waste policy.
What a great experience. I really enjoyed learning about the bees and honey production. This was because the owner was so engaging and funny. Tasting is excellent. The honey is so good. I would recommend the full tour with gin tasting. I’m not a gin gal but it went down smooth. Must check out this local experience!
Lisa P — Google review
A wonderful place. A passionate man with a love for what he does. The story of the bees and his relationship with nature is special. Their products are outstanding. I would highly encourage a visit. Thank you!

Such a fabulous hour spent with Vlaho today! Very warm, funny and informative with delicious honey and gin too. Excellent with our 9 year old. Highly recommend a visit!

Such a great experience! Vlaho is hilarious, it made the tour so much fun - we laughed a ton. It was also super informative, we loved learning about the bees and honey making process. Not to mention the honey and olive oil were DELICIOUS. The best we have ever tried. Definitely recommend!
Franci S — Google review
Enjoyed a wonderful tour and tasting of honey/olive oil here. Vlaho was so informative, passionate and had a great sense of humor. All of this made for a great experience, plus we purchased some amazing gifts to take home (small size jars of honey and gin that are carry-on friendly).
Sarah M — Google review
We visited this morning with our 10 month old baby and had a fantastic tour. It was so interesting and informative but delivered in a humourous way, we learnt a lot about bees, their behaviour and how they produce the honey. It was also good to see a working hive and our baby was fascinated by it. We also tasted olive oil and marmalade which were also fantastic. Vlaho was very welcoming and not put off by our baby squarking away. It was just the right amount of time (1 hour inc tastings) and his products are great quality and clearly made with love and dedication. We left with lots of honey!! Thank you Vlaho.

The OWNER was EXTREMELY RUDE! There was a group inside that was just finishing up. The owner acknowledged that my husband and myself were waiting outside along with two other people. He said he would be a couple of minutes. No problem. The majority of the group left within 5 minutes except for two individuals who lingered. The four of us were patiently seated outside…The owner then proceeded to LOCK THE FRONT DOOR?!?! and continue a lengthy conversation with the 2 lingering individuals! What was the purpose of that? Why he didn’t want us in the store to browse is a mystery. After 20 minutes the two other people waiting left.… and at that point we left too. Obviously the owner did not want our business and frankly, he didn’t deserve our business. It’s extremely rude and disrespectful to waste our precious vacation time. Everyone else throughout Croatia was fantastic and welcoming.

This was the best tour we ever had. Everyone is so welcoming, warm and interesting. We had so much fun and learned a lot. We learned about the process of making natural traditonal honey, olive oil and gin with zero waste policy. After the learning part comes the part we loved the most - tasting of honey and gin! I bet you never tasted a honey this good, and the gin TRUT is beyond words. If you are looking for something authentic, traditional and local - this is a must see/ try experience

Korcula Town Museum is housed in a charming 16th-century Renaissance palace located in the heart of Korcula Old Town. The museum boasts 24 collections, including archaeological, traditional shipbuilding, ethnographical, stone-masonry, musical, natural history, and maritime exhibits. Visitors can explore ancient Greek and Roman ceramics recovered from shipwrecks as well as a replica of a fourth-century Greek tablet. The museum's English-language labeling enhances the experience for international visitors.
In the new renovated museum of the city of Korcula you can find a lot of information of very interesting and rich island history. You will go through different phases of the island development and for a hour or two travel through the time. Amazing place to visit!
Maja J — Google review
Delightful little museum that offers much to intrigue in a relatively small, but pleasingly modern, space. Visitors who are fascinated by the past and prepared to spend the time (and do a bit of reading) are taken through thousands of years of history, including a glimpse of 19th-century cultural life in Korčula - the curator(s) must be congratulated! Not all the explanatory texts and audio are accompanied by English translations, but super friendly staff can assist. A lovely experience (on what was a very cold and wet island afternoon!)

Cute museum showcasing local history all the way from prehistoric times to 20th century. Not sure it's worth the €6 entry fee but it was nice all the same. Nice to do something a bit different to swimming and eating and drinking!
Alice W — Google review
Really good and modern museum occupying 5 floors. EUR6 entrance fee. The basement has the oldest pieces, and it gets more modern history as you climb up. Also a good toilet in the basement, which is handy! I particularly liked the helmet from the 5th or 6th century BC.

Nice exhibit explaining the history of Korcula. Location in one of the old Venetian palaces on the main square. If you have plenty of time it's a good way to spend half an hour to an hour, but if you are in a rush better spend the time walking on the small streets.
Csaba C — Google review
Decent city museum! I definitely liked the amphoras (+music background) and photos from 1930's and 1950's. Someone put quite and effort to arrange the exhibition in chronological and well-arranged order.

Korcula Town Museum is located across the St. Marc Cathedral. The Museum is housed in Gabrieli's palace, built in the 15th and 16th centuries but newly renovated. It consists of 4 floors and shows how life on the island looked before. I would definitely recommend this place so you can understand the history of Korcula better. My favorite parts of the museum are the 3rd and 4th floor but the other two floors are no less attractive.

Marco Polo Museum

Museum
The Marco Polo Museum offers an intriguing look into the life of the famous explorer through seven lifelike wax tableaux. Despite its small size, the museum effectively utilizes its space to narrate Polo's story and era. Visitors are encouraged to take the audio tour for a comprehensive understanding of his life. The souvenir shop at the end provides a nice touch, and there are additional shops in the vicinity as well. Overall, it's a fascinating experience that appeals to both adults and children alike.
Very nice museum of Marco Polo. The location is small but utilizes the space wisely to tell the story of Polo's life and times. Accept the audio tour and a person is tempted to walk and look continuously, but it really helps to stay on the scene with the audio tour to get the real flavor of the man and understand his story. The souvenir shop at the end and associated shops throughout the area are good. Everybody could find something they liked or a friend would like. The entrance to the muse6is a bit hard to find, being around a corner without adequate signs, but anyone local can direct you to the museum. A good experience!
Walter G — Google review

A nice try to describe Marco Polo's life but kinda expensive...
Samo K — Google review
Definition says that museum is an institution that cares for a collection of artifacts and other objects of artistic, cultural, historical, or scientific importance. This is not the museum. This is more like Marco Polo experience through 6-7 rooms with real size dolls. The scenography is fine, but the story that you follow through the audio guide is more like sugar-coated story about Marco's adventures so it's lousy based on real facts. Don't ruin your visit to Korčula and avoid this overpriced (60kn) place.
Nebojša K — Google review
The story of Marco Polo'life presented in an exciting and accessible way
Olga R — Google review
The audio tour takes around 30 minutes. It is less of a museum and more of a audio description of the live of Marco Polo. The details are biased and very dramatic. It is entertaining but not required to do while in Korcula.
John P — Google review
Great use of audio to listen to the story of marco polo.
Laura E — Google review
Deserves zero stars. There are no objects of lasting interest or value, so for my understanding it doesn't even qualify as a museum. It's an expensive ripoff, for 60 HRK (as of July 2018) you get a headset and a bookmark. The audio guide is way too long, and you would need to literally crawl to have some synchronization between the 4 stages and the guide. Besides no one (except the korculans themselves) honestly believe that Marco Polo was a korculan. Make your kids a favor and buy them icecreams instead.

Restaurant
Restoran Planjak offers incredibly tasty cuisine, outstanding service, and a pleasant ambiance. It is difficult to find any flaws in this establishment. The wife enjoyed a perfectly cooked medium-rare rump steak prepared over charcoal, while the son relished chicken medallions accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes; he even approached the owner to express that it was the second-best chicken he had ever tasted (with his mother's being the ultimate favorite, of course).
We ate sea bream and žrnovski makaruni. Delicious. Service was very good and our hosts were friendly.

Our friend Roko suggested this restaurant and quickly introduced us to the owner and a few of his friends. He ensured we got a table on the patio and was incredibly hospitable. We ordered the tuna tartare - which I have to say, is 100/10!!! What a great spot for a little vino and snack before getting on the ferry. Can’t wait to go back and have a full meal! Hvala vam puno! Amfora buffet-pizzeria is a charming restaurant tucked away in the side streets near the main gate of Korcula old town. The menu may be small, but it offers delightful options such as locally made pasta dishes and Chinese-influenced Wok Chicken. The ambiance is romantic with overhead lights creating a chilled-out yet vibrant vibe. The friendly service adds to the experience, ensuring that even non-pizza lovers can enjoy a customized meal without cheese.
This is another excellent small restaurant in the heart of Korčula. We arrived on a very rainy Wednesday evening in September and managed to get one of the last tables inside. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. I asked about local spirits and about pelinkovac. He explained it was sort of like Jagermeister. It was great. We both had the homemade pasta with beef in a sort of ragu - delicious! The local wine was a bargain at 6€ for 25cl.

This a nice restaurant in one of the side streets not far from the main gate into Korcula old town. The menu is quite small but I'm sure you'll find something to your liking. The "locally made pasta" dishes are recommended. The pasta in truffle sauce was plain but nice to taste and garnished with some small, sweet tasting berries. Interestingly there is a dish called Wok Chicken which, as it's name suggests, has Chinese influences - my wife enjoyed it. Lava cake is nice too. Service OK.

Great spot in the heart of Kortula’s old city. Indoor and outdoor seating; recommend the latter for stone alleyway quiet vibe. Menu highlights include personal pizzas and homemade pastas. Service is attentive and kind. Prices reasonable and cards accepted.

Amazing place, the food is amazing and the personnel is very friendly and helpful. They have a lot of local and vegetarian options. The restaurant is located in a beautiful little street with an amazing view! The building itself is a beautiful example of the (Venetian) architecture in Korcula and has a very nice history. The owners were very passioned about this and shared amazing insights!

Food is really poor. Seafood pasta served with trace of seafood which is lucky as whatever was inside didnt taste right. We also shared mussells which were tastless too, and pizza was soggy. Seems it is time for you guys to change a chef. Service staff was nice tho.

It was raining and we were looking for some cosy comfort food for breakfast. This place is super cute, the outdoor seating is covered so we could still sit outside. The staff were more than welcoming and service was very fast. The truffle cream crepe was to die for! Definitely recommend this place for breakfast, brunch or a snack.

We kept passing this pancake place while in Korčula because it was close to where we were staying. Eventually, on our final evening, we decided to have our dessert here. It's a fun place with a concise menu of sweet and savoury pancakes that are made fresh for you. You pay tourist prices and, while the service was quick to make the pancake, we did have to go looking for somebody when we wanted to pay after waiting for quite a while. When next in Korčula I'm sure I'll try one of their savoury dishes too. Making pancakes isn't rocket science but it is tasty.

This pizzeria is right by the sea with a beautiful view. Even though it was quite busy, the wait time for a table was only about 5–10 minutes, and it was definitely worth it. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the food was absolutely delicious. Considering the prices in other restaurants on Korčula, this place is also very affordable. Highly recommended!

If I back to Korcula island I will definitely be dining here again. Staff is kind, view is gorgeous, food is homemade, fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable. We even couldn't eat all we ordered so they packed pizza cuts for kids for later. There were 6 of us, we paid meal, drinks and one salad €120. It's only €20 per person.
