Camping cabin
La Rocca Camping Village is a lakeside campground that offers both pitches and rentals. It boasts a restaurant, a heated pool with a bar, and is situated near the stunning Garda lake. The accommodations are well-equipped with amenities such as a kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, and comfortable bed. Guests receive a welcome kit which includes some kitchen cleaning supplies. Although the room may show signs of age, it is overall clean and reasonably priced at around 60 euros for couples during the off-season.
We have just finished our second two week stay at la rocca. I haven't got a bad word to say. We stumbled across the campsite a couple of years ago whilst staying next door and immediately fell in love with the place. The staff are amazing and they remembered us from the year before, all of the animations team deserves a well earned pat on the back as they work countless hours jumping around and never fail to smile. Our daughter Bella loves staying here and Isobel is her favourite "teacher". We love the entertainment in the evenings and often rush back to make sure we don't miss it. The location is perfect, we ride our bikes out most days, skate on the boardwalk and enjoy walks to all the neighbouring towns. The pools are great and the animal park is a great asset to the campsite, we've never stayed anywhere else where you can walk alpaca through the vineyard. I can see that the management team are investing money back into the campsite as we had noticed new features this year such as a brand new play park. We can't wait to come back but a year seems a long way away. Thank you to everybody at la rocca. It's our family's favourite campsite and we travel a lot. Massive thumbs up to everyone involved. I haven't left a review for rooms as we towed a caravan but I'm assuming they are great.

Location is good. Pitches are okay. Our family came to this campsite since the 90s but we will not return. Their rates are too high compared to overall quality, especially when you also have to deal with the arrogant gentleman at the reception. We witnessed him being rude to customers before us and we experienced the same unnecessary sarcastic comments from him. He should not be in a customer facing position.

Wow!! We loved our stay at La Rocca Camping Village. We booked one of the Top Due maxicaravans, which had the most incredible views of the lake and provided spacious accommodation for our family of four. The maxicaravans are closest to the Panorama swimming pool, which always had seating available and had the most incredible views of the lake. There is also an astro pitch and beach volleyball court available for use until 10pm. The kids loved to play football with other campers in the evening. The restaurant is also excellent and available throughout the day for meals. The take away service was perfect for a quick feed and a delivery service is also available. We enjoyed time in the lake, which is a 2 second walk from the front gate of the site. There are several watersport options available through the onsite Surf Point shack. The team there were helpful in getting us started with SUP. Would highly recommend to families looking for an active, but chilled, holiday in beautiful surroundings.

We just had a 12 night stay at this campsite. This was the first time we did this type of holiday but we really enjoyed La Rocca with our two kids 8 and 6. Hands-down the entertainment for the kids is what makes this campsite if you have young children the effort the mini club employees make with the kids is above and beyond some of the daytime activities included horse riding and bee keeping experience 😀 Ina and Anieka were two that our girls mentioned. The mini disco was fun and then after there was nighttime entertainment which was very good Kevin the main entertainer was a natural showman we loved the movie night dances and Brazilian ballet. We liked the restuarant alot and could eat and let the kids play without worrying Kevin and Serjei were lovely servers. It was a bit expensive but the standard was high. The overall cleanliness of the camp was excellent everywhere. There are 2 main pools and you could always get a sunbed. Overall I'd recommend this campsite especially if you have kids. Thanks La Rocca!

We came first time here ar 2013.and it was amazing. We came back now in 2025 and it is even better. Beautyfull restaurant with good food.and great service. Friendly reception. Great rooms for shower and washing.they are cleaned constantly. Directly on lake. Places for tents and caravans are nicely separated and has trees ,great for shadows. Personal is very friendly. Dogs shower and dryer,is just perfect after bathing at lake. Many activities for kids and adults Great place for van service.only problem that many people don't read signs and empty and fill up chemical toilet with wrong Waterhouse. But it is not campsite fault, more like a humans factor😅. Amazing place!
Olga L — Google review
A wonderful place to stay! Great for kids and for adults. Very good pool areas, great drinks in the poolbar for reasonable prices and close to the lake with a bridge to jump and dive from. 10-15 min walk to Garda with good resturants and shops.

Beach Punta Cornicello in Bardolino, Italy is a must-visit attraction on the eastern shores of Lake Garda. It offers stunning panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the natural beauty. The beach features a cozy bar serving aperitifs and snacks, as well as a nearby Ferris wheel for added entertainment. Visitors can enjoy live music from DJs while taking in the beautiful scenery.
Beautiful town, really picturesque walk along the lake with excellent views from the top of the ferris wheel. Lovely little bar at this spot with a great range of drinks and chill vibes. 100% worth the visit and can’t wait to come back again!

We had walked down from the village of Garda and ended up at Bardolino super hungry. Good stop for food and drink. Considering it was super hot, the Coronas came out in ice bags. Great idea!!! We shared a toasted sandwich, which was delicious. Highly recommend. The only issue they played the same music over and over.

Small pebbly beach offering the opportunity to swim in Lake Garda. There's a small cafe further on from the beach offering meals or take-away sandwiches and drinks. Bardalino itself is pretty popular which means finding a parking space other than at the formal car parks can be a challenge. Still, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area

A mist go to restaurant!! Food, wine, service all extremely good standards! Al fresco dining, staff very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. Everything was delicious, the wines, pizzas and pasta all fantastic. The restaurant is situated in a great setting and ambience. Seemed to be popular with couples and also families. Andrea was outstanding and explained the menu very clearly a few times to us with great patience. The desserts were amazing!!!! All teh vegetarian food was just delicious and would highly recommend it. The restaurant definitely made the effort to accommodate for this. Great value for the price. Had your first taste of Grappa at this restaurant!!! It was poured into our mouths from a very long glass bottle!! An Italian tradition it appeared, was fun and made us chuckle 🤭

We stumbled across this cafe on a wet morning for a coffee and noticed how friendly and modern it was so booked a table for dinner that evening. Food was first class we had the buffalo poke bowl and Nduja pasta both meals were absolutely delicious. For dessert we had the Tiramisu which was the best in the world. Staff very friendly and excellent service. Would definitely recommend but it's best to book as it gets busy.

This restaurant was amazing. The food was excellent. We all had pasta and the staff even prepared a kids pasta for our son. The desserts were homemade and were the highlight of the meal. The wine which was recommended was very nice and reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful contributing to a lovely atmosphere for the meal.

Located on the lakefront after Parco Carrara Bottagisio, at the end of the town, stands a stunning Ferris wheel that stretches 30 meters high. This pet-friendly attraction offers a carriage specially designed for transporting small four-legged companions. The park itself is somewhat obscured by the presence of numerous Christmas booths, yet it remains conveniently situated alongside the water. A multitude of dining and shopping options are available in this area.

Spiaggia Lido di Cisano offers complimentary parking for those who avail themselves of the daybeds, umbrellas, or choose to sit on the terrace. The food provided is satisfactory, and the staff is courteous. The prices are reasonable as expected. Access to the lake can be obtained through large stones situated along its edge. Instead of sand, there is a grassy beach area.
Nice area with cool breeze from the lake with the mountain view, and there are some bars with simple food around. Water was warm and nice to swim, but it doesn’t really have beach. You can still relax and chill on the grass area.

Family place A beautiful place to take sun to relax and to play for children's.

Free parking if you use the service of the daybeds/umbrella's or take a seat on the terras. The (snacky) food is more than ok, the service polite. Prices as aspected. Acces to the lake via the big stones on the side. Beach is made of grass, not sand. Beware of the e-steps an (mountain)bikers when you cross the (public) path to enter the water. I was afraid that we'd spend hours to find a decent lakeside-spot, but this one made me happy! 2021 daybed 9€, carParking, showers, toilets en dressingrooms included.

Very beautiful museum, that tells a story of olive oils production. You will find various tools and watch short films that explain the entire process. Entrance and the parking are free. At the end, you can taste and purchase different olive oils. We’ll definitely visit again!

This is well worth a visit. In a very short time they provide a very informative education on Olive oil and how it is made both now and in the past. They have a few nicely done videos and many museum quality items from the history of Olive oil production. At the end you can sample many items and buy some if you like. Also note that the restroom is outside on the side of the building and they need to buzz you in from the front desk.

A very interesting place. Entrance is free. I saw olive processing facilities for the first time in my life. Here I also saw handmade wooden screws (for oil presses)! I was speechless! I also bought REAL olive oil! It really wasn't expensive. Very friendly staff. I will definitely come back, in the future holidays.

Ristorante Giardino delle Esperidi is a charming eatery in Bardolino that serves beautifully arranged dishes, showcasing the artistry of gastronomy. Its unassuming ambiance and outdoor seating add to its old-school charm. The restaurant prides itself on using local and seasonal ingredients, which are skillfully prepared by three talented local women chefs. Their dedication to quality has been acknowledged by their consistent inclusion in the Michelin guide over the years.
Our favourite restaurant in Bardolino. We visit every year when at the "Lago" on holiday. 3 local women cooking with local and seasonal produce. Fact they're mentioned in Michelin guide year after year says it all. We were very happy to see some old favourites still on the menu, and some very tasty new dishes too. Tobacco infused ice cream. We'd 3 courses, 2 bottles of organic wine and coffee, and still had change from 200 euros. Roll on July 2024 for our next visit! 🇮🇹

Sometimes you just have to trust the Michelin Guide – and this time, it was absolutely spot on! Giardino delle Esperidi is one of those places that instantly makes you feel welcome. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which sets the tone for a truly enjoyable evening. We chose to sit outside, and it was perfect – a cozy little spot where you can soak up the lively street vibe while still focusing entirely on the food. And what food it is! We went for the two-course menu (€44 per person), and every bite felt like a small celebration of flavor. If you go, don’t miss the fish carpaccio as a starter – it’s fresh, delicate, and simply unforgettable. The wine list offers a thoughtful selection, and the waitress gave us excellent recommendations with a smile. Whether you’re a fish lover or prefer vegetarian dishes, this place is a must-visit. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and food that easily lives up to its Michelin mention.

Fantastic experience, great if you’re looking for something a bit special. Quite pricey but you get what you pay for! Food was delicious, and service was outstanding. We had the sea and land tasting menus which were beautiful and waitress recommended a lovely wine pairing. We had an amazing time:) Grazie mille 🤩
Eleanor C — Google review
Very charming place with rustique italian food. Interiors are toned down with original details. Attentative service, great wine pairings. Menu is quite straightforward, food of high quality but the wines are the main attraction at this venue. Charming owner.
Martin S — Google review
It was quite expensive, but that wasn’t the main issue. The real problem was that I found a piece of foil in my pasta. Normally, they would cancel the dish or offer some form of compensation, but they didn’t. After that, I couldn’t eat my pasta.
Zeev R — Google review
Excellent food here. No wonder this place got a nod from Michelin (the Michelin Plate: Good Cooking). I had the truffle baked in cheese, I would normally not have gone for a dish like that because most of the time I have gotten truffle it has overpowered the dish but I thought it was worth the risk this time due to the reputation this place has. I was not disappointed. The parmesan the truffle was baked in was strong enough to compete with the truffle and provided a balance to the dish. My girlfriend went for the vegetarian millefeuille which was also excellent. It felt like the vegetables where picked that morning. I am not giving it 5 stars because it was a little pricey and it felt like it was missing something, like it needed more atmosphere but I would definitely recommend anyone to come here.

Amazing lakeside restaurant. Super friendly staff: kept giving our dog biscuits! Really stylish and five star feel restaurant: inside and out. We had wonderful salads and pizzas and although the place looks so posh, they didn‘t turn up their noses at us, although we had just come from the beach and didn’t look very smart. I would really recommend this place for food, location and atmosphere. Thank you for making us (and our dog!) feel so welcome!

Our experience was very good. We were visiting Bardolino for the wine festival, the weather was very good and Bardolino was overcrowded. We chose it to have lunch as one of the dishes of the day was our favourite Cozze Papata. The food was very good, the service decent and the prices normal. 5 stars from us!
D0rian7 — Google review
Once again, a cover charge but our table did not get bread as other tables did. It must be because we're English or because we told them that they had got our order wrong when they brought it. Definitely better places to eat in Bardolino.
Janet C — Google review
Terrible experience at this beautifully positioned restaurant. 😔 A very rude and obnoxious waiter, belittled me for asking if they had gelato and for the loo - I even asked for the 'bagno per favore' in Italian. This is a restaurant he said aggressively! We were planning to eat here, but just had a drink after such a hostile encounter.
Tam M — Google review
Decent food, nothing to write home about, but also OK for the money. We tried the schnitzels, the Milanese is rather dry, while the one with white wine / mushrooms is quite good. Good fries, too. Great beer, even if the selection is very limited. Very fast and polite service, and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, so overall a very good experience. Will try the pizzas next time.
Adrian M — Google review
Sadly the best part of the restaurant is the location and view as well as friendly staff. The food was incredibly disappointing - especially the truffle pasta was completely dry pasta with no sauce whatsoever, we have never seen anything like it. The Carbonara was not the safe choice I had hoped it was, barely any taste and undercooked Guanciale. Side note: the music they play there during the evening is ACDC‘s Highway to Hell and insanely random music which is not fitting either? Wouldn’t recommend… Maybe for a drink it’s okay…
Lara B — Google review
Terrible food. Service is OK, waiters are a bit cool but nice, location is very nice. But location is nothing when the food is not edible. And I don’t mean bad food. I mean food (in this case the chicken on a cesar salad) that is so bad that you literally cannot eat some of the pieces. The meat is old, visibly old. It was clearly cooked a few days ago. So dry and hard, you cannot cut it, push a fork through it or bite it. We decided to skip the main course and walk away, but this salad - I can savely say - what’s one of the worst planets I have eaten (or left over) in my life. We showed the waiter, he seemed as shocked as we were, but he could only report it back to the chef. Also, charging 2 times coperto for 1 salad might be considered a bit unfriendly by most guests.
Treb — Google review
We thought we'd found a lovely pizzeria,at reasonable prices. How wrong we were, the pizza was OK,nothing special. The let down was, they plonked a paper bag down on the table, that contained bread and bread sticks,we didn't want to eat the bread, but if we did we weren't given plates. They charged €6 for this. The pizzas were just under €10,so bumped our bill up quite a bit ,for our cheap lunch out Rip off .

Nestled in a prime location overlooking the stunning Lake Garda, Ristorante Lunico is a refined dining destination that specializes in delectable seafood and mouthwatering pizza. With an expansive terrace that offers breathtaking views, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal while soaking up the picturesque surroundings. Guests rave about the exceptional service and delightful menu options, which extend beyond just pizza to include a variety of Italian dishes. The ambiance is charming, making it an ideal choice for both casual lunches and special dinners.
What a revelation we found this restaurant through a tip from the owner of Dolci Sogni Gluten Free bakery in Peschiera del Garda. The very friendly and courteous staff, the setting (view over Lake Garda) and the very friendly owner who comes in person to take orders has made us return more often. The food is delicious and the very extensive menu with over 90% choice of gluten-free dishes makes this restaurant a godsend for people with celiac disease. There is no cross-contamination and our daughter had multiple choices of gluten-free pizzas, fries and other gluten-free dishes. This restaurant is well worth multiple visits! I recommend to try the fish soup, it's the speciality of the house.

Very cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere and amazing food, we were offered a glass of prosecco right at the entrance :) It's not the first line but you can still see the lake. The size of pizza was tremendous, it's huge! And the dough is sooooo thin, I've never tried something like that, absolutely delicious

What a wonderful dining experience at Ristorante Lunico! We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco, which set the tone for a lovely evening. We asked the staff for recommendations, and they were spot on — knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly familiar with the menu. The fish soup was absolutely exceptional, one of the best I’ve ever had. The view is spectacular, the service was excellent, and the price-to-quality ratio is outstanding. I highly recommend this place and would return without hesitation.

A truly wonderful experience all round. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. The staff were fantastic. And the food was incredible. Amazing authentic Italian food with gluten free and vegan options. My partner said his steak was perfection. A lovely atmosphere and very reasonably priced. The staff even organised a taxi back to our hotel after which was greatly appreciated.

What a fantastic dining experience! This restaurant truly knows how to deliver when it comes to fresh, flavorful pasta and perfectly cooked seafood. Every dish we tried was full of authentic taste and made with care — from the rich sauces to the perfectly al dente pasta. What really stood out was their thoughtful gluten-free menu. As someone with dietary restrictions, it’s not always easy to find a place that combines quality and variety, but this spot nailed it. The gluten-free pasta was delicious — no compromise in flavor or texture. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, the staff incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, and the whole experience just felt special from start to finish. Highly recommend for a memorable meal whether you’re a foodie, gluten-free, or simply love great Italian cuisine!

Very busy restaurant. Lovely view of the lake. Some service staff lovely but one or two completely stressed out and tripping over peope‘s chairs all the time. One dropped a tray on my back which was a big shock but he just rushed on and didn’t stop to apologise. This entirely ruined our evening. Others were a bit stressy and didn’t give us a chance to choose. We won’t be coming back.

I highly recommend this restaurant.Fantastic service, delicious food and wonderful location. The gluten-free version was no problem with almost anything. Truly exceptional. ❤️
Rita P — Google review
Have to say I did not get the hype here. I am gluten free and felt immediately the whole experience was rushed. You are given a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival, even this part was rushed and we were hurried to our table. The waiter was keen to take our order within moments, so asking for longer felt uncomfortable. The food was ok, but I did not find it any better than any other gluten free meals I have had in Bardolino- Biri would be my number one choice from our weeks stay here.

Italian restaurant
When visiting Osteria Due Nani, it is advisable to request a table near the skilled chef working on the barbecue. His effortlessly executed grilling technique enhances the flavor of the fish, which is lightly seasoned and topped with a drizzle of olive oil. While savoring this delicious meal, one can also indulge in a refreshing spritz. Osteria Due Nani is an authentic, local restaurant in Bardolino that offers incredible fish dishes and friendly, humorous waitstaff.
Wow! We loved it here, it was the highlight of our holiday, so much so we revisited multiple times throughout our stay. The food is outstanding, so tasty and lots to choose from. The courtyard area is a lovely place to sit in the evening and they will always try and accommodate you even if they are busy. Finally, the staff are absolutely wonderful, so friendly and knowledgable. Thank you for having us!

Having dined around Lake Garda, I’d really recommend Osteria Due Nani. The atmosphere and surrounds are absolutely beautiful - just off the piazza and a mix of indoor / outdoor seats. The service was good, very helpful and you could tell that each person was really passionate about the place. We started with an aperol and a limoncello spritz. We were given the usual Italian bread basket, which was pretty hard but soft once you broke into it and added olive oil/balsmaic. We ate veggie and for mains had spinach and ricotta tortellini with sage butter and walnuts. We also had gnocchi with arribiata sauce. Each dish was divine. You could tell the pasta was handmade and the portions/pricing was good. We also had a 125ml jug of Bardolino red wine for just €5. In total we paid €65, including tip, for 2 x spritz, 2 x wine, tomato and mozerella and 2 x pasta. As I said, I’d really recommend here.

My gastronomic highlight in Bardolino! Very nice romantic ambience in a historic courtyard. The food is very typical of the region and of very good quality. Especially recommended is the meat from the charcoal grill.

My recent lunch at Osteria Due Nani in Bardolino, right along the picturesque Lungolago Francesco Lenotti, was a delightful experience that perfectly blended a charming setting, exceptional food, and heartfelt service. This cozy lakeside gem has quickly become a highlight of my Lake Garda visit. The setting is nothing short of enchanting. The osteria’s rustic charm, with its stone walls, wooden beams, and soft lighting, creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like stepping into a family’s countryside home. We opted for the outdoor terrace, where the gentle breeze off Lake Garda and twinkling fairy lights added a magical touch. The view of the shimmering lake at dusk made every moment feel special, perfect for a relaxed evening with great company. The food was a standout, showcasing the best of Veneto’s culinary traditions with a focus on quality and simplicity. We started with two appetizers that set the bar high: the tartar and the smoked Angus carpaccio. The tartar was a revelation—finely chopped, melt-in-your-mouth beef, seasoned with just the right balance of herbs, capers, and a hint of mustard, served with crispy crostini that added the perfect crunch. The smoked Angus carpaccio was equally impressive, thinly sliced and delicately smoky, with a drizzle of olive oil and shavings of aged Parmigiano that elevated the dish to something truly memorable. Both dishes were fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor, proving that simple ingredients can shine when handled with care. The service was impeccable, striking that rare balance of professional yet genuinely warm. The entire staff worked like a well-oiled machine, keeping the busy terrace humming along smoothly while maintaining that signature Italian warmth. Osteria Due Nani is a must-visit in Bardolino, deserving every bit of its stellar reputation (4.3/5 on Google, and a Travelers’ Choice nod). The combination of its idyllic lakeside setting, exquisite dishes like the tartar and smoked Angus carpaccio, and top-notch service makes it a standout. I’m already dreaming of my next visit. Five stars—bravissimo!

Probably the most cosy restaurant here in Bardolino. Their pasta is in-house made and the portions are generous. Don’t forget to try their flambéed crème brûlée with a, to some, way too noticeable egg-tone. Do note that there’s a 2,50 euro ”acquaintance fee” per person. Strongly recommended when the weather gets moody.

It was hard to find an authentic and local (and less touristic) restaurant in bardolino, but luckily we tried out due nani, the fish dishes are amazing, love it. And also the waiter is very kind and funny, high recommend if you want to try something local from lake Garda

The one restaurant I was really looking forward to having read the many great reviews. The only restaurant so far that I have been disappointed with. The food was ok not amazing. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes as the steaks did look great on other tables so perhaps steak is the way to go here. The big disappointment compared to other restaurants we’ve used in Bardolino and surrounding towns is the waiting staff seemed unfriendly and disinterested in us. For that reason we wouldn’t return as there are much friendlier and nicer restaurants around.

This is a really cute mini golf course, popular with families with children of all ages. 18 holes for a reasonable price. Small snack bar with tables and very friendly staff. Don't expect the balls to bounce off the edge of the course; they stay exactly where it hits the edge. Variety of challenges at each hole. Definitely recommend it!

The Wine Museum of Bardolino is a captivating attraction located in the picturesque town of Bardolino on the shores of Lake Garda, Italy. Established in 1991, this museum offers an immersive experience that delves into the rich history and culture of winemaking in the region. Divided into thematic areas dedicated to different aspects of the wine production process, visitors can explore original exhibits showcasing everything from vineyard cultivation to bottling.
We visited the Zeni Wine Museum one afternoon whilst visiting Lake Garda. It’s a little bit of a walk if you don’t have a car up a hill, but it’s worth the effort. There is a nice small museum all laid out nicely with plenty of information. They also offer an unbelievable 6 free wine samples during your visit. Considering the museum and tastings are free, it’s incredibly generous! They also have a huge shop where you can buy bottles of wine and much more too. If visiting the area, certainly stop by and check it out for an hour, it’s great.

Free wine museum. Free wine tasting. We saw reviews of this place before visiting and decided to stop by. It's a gorgeous site to cycle to, with views overlooking the vineyards in front of the lake. You get to taste 6 wines each for free - there is a selection of white, red and rosé. The bottles in the shop are also incredibly reasonably priced. All of the staff were lovely and happy to describe the wines or give recommendations.

Visitors can explore the well-maintained garden of Villa Rizzardi, which holds an intriguing history including connections to Pablo Picasso. We booked the privet tour of the winery and cellar, including wine tasting. The experience was incredible! Our guide (Anastasia) was kind and professional in her explanation about the history of the winery and the grounds it is on. The wine itself was spectacular. Very special and strong reds and light whites and rose. We bought some of their locally produced olive oil which was aromatic and rich. A great experience for wine lovers who want to investigate the local tastes of Garda!

A really magnificent winery, the shop was nice and charming. We took a tour with our fantastic guide Anastasia that explained everything about the winery with passion and answer all our questions. The tasting afterwards was really pleasant. The price of the wines in the shop, the level of the tour with the tasting and the idyllic scenery makes this an easy 5/5!

Well worth a visit. Not only good wines and very service minded and pleasant staff but also a very, very nice tour if the garden of Villa Rizzardi. Huge garden but still very intimate. Interesting history and stories about the Villa. For instance a very good artist friend of Pablo Picasso lived there for many years and Picasso visited frequently to get inspo. The garden is very well maintained and have many surprises. A Magnolia tree from mid 16-hundreds is one of the spectacular trees. You can taste and buy wine at the showroom while hearing all about the place.

Extremely poor tasting ceremony. You get few drops of a wine to taste with the feeling that you should be anyway grateful for that… No food. And you pay for the tasting even though you purchased a wine. The place itself - nice, very nice, thus with a huge, obviously not used, potential 🤷🏻‍♂️🤓

It was a pleasant tour. The right amount of information for us en the guide was very kind. She knew what she was talking about. The winetasting at the end was very nice. We got a delicious charcutery plate (which was included in the price) and three good wines!! Afterwards, it was no problem to taste some additional wines, so we could take the right decision of the wine we were buying (which is not an obligation). Again, the guide gave us all the information we needed to make our decision. We would definitely recommend this place.

I stopped here because I wanted to buy a few bottles of classic Bardolino from a local producer. Bardolino has always been among the wines I enjoy the most because because it is very easy to drink and goes perfectly with many dishes. The winery is amazing and the staff was delighted to explain everything and to make me taste a selection of their wines. I immediately liked Fiori di Rosa which was is sort of a sparkling Chiaretto, fresh, fruity and lovely. I ended up buying two crates. Can't wait to drink them with my friends 😋

What an incredible place. My husband and I visited here while we were on our honeymoon in Garda and we loved this beautiful, small, family run wine shop. We were greeted by the lovely Ilaria who gave us samples of all the different wines she thought we might like (they all tasted incredible!) and she told us some information about each one, in fantastic English. Ilaria was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed a glass of wine each out on the beautiful patio. It was such a beautiful, peaceful place to relax with a delicious glass of wine. It was also very interesting to hear Ilaria tell us about the vineyard and how the wine is made. I loved that it was such a small, peaceful vineyard, it was so relaxing. The wine tasted so lovely that we bought two bottles on the day and returned again before we flew back home to buy another two bottles to take back to England with us. The prices are fantastic and so affordable. A fantastic little place and we are so happy we visited. We really recommend that everyone visits here if you are in the area!

Terrible restaurant, went on a week-end to eat and guess what, they seat you give you the menu and if you choose to eat anything that is grilled ( you will have the surprised to eat something that was grilled (mix grilled platter ) a few hours ahead and get it ready-heated ) same happen for the grilled vegetables, they been grilled hours prior and re-heated. If you order pasta / salads / taglia / etc things that need to be made on the moment you get fresh things but be aware of the above . NOT A PLACE TO GO !!! You will ruin your whole day by having a terrible dish !!!!!!! Never happened to me something similar, if you know what good food should look and taste, you will agree with me. Alongside our drinks, they served a generous selection of snacks, which was a pleasant surprise. When it started to rain, the staff quickly opened an umbrella for us, ensuring we stayed comfortable. Excellent service and a great atmosphere!

Hit and miss place. Half of the food was good, the other half not at all. Cold, dry and tasteless pasta, unforgivable brasato. 50 minutes between appetizer and main course. Service ok. Although we didn't eat the brasato and pointed out to the manager, they charged for it anyway. Fritto misto and cocktails were good. Recommended for a aperitivo and snacks which are abundant, but definetely not for a real meal. Nice view by the shore.

Didn’t have any food but we had drinks here multiple times and it has been a lovely experience each time, the Aperol Spritz is lovely, comes with a fruit skewer, all the waiters/waitresses all lovely. Both outdoor seating areas are lovely, never sat for long before being served. We went one day when it was torrential downpour with a thunderstorm and we sat inside after the waiter warned us we were sat under a part of the umbrella that was going to soon leak, overall a good experience, you think that €12 is expensive for an Aperol and then you realise its a bigger drink than the rest of the €7 ones.
Abbie W — Google review
A bit expensive, I assume it is mainly for tourists due to its location on the promenade next to the lake. Seabass I had was good but the mushroom pasta my wife had not worth to mention it. No wonder we don't hear Italians eating there. If you wanna get local food for affordable price, then look for something else.
Zsolt T — Google review
Not the cheapest of drinks on our travels through Italy €40 for 2 Aperol Spritz and 2 medium beers. But the spritz was the best and largest I’d had and came with a fruit skewer.. beer is beer!!! A nice selection of snacks and staff friendly. We sat inside for the sitcom after our bike ride and it was great seeing the bar staff at work… so many bottles of Prosecco opened in readiness for the Spritz, you name it, they spritz it!!

This rustic Italian restaurant in Bardolino features delicious pasta and meat dishes served in a charming room or on a terrace with olive trees. The restaurant is popular for its fresh, homemade dishes and offers a range of vegetarian options. It also has a full bar serving wine, cocktails, and beer.
Phenomenal dinner. Handmade pasta with amazing sauces from local ingredients. The appetizers were to die for. Service was friendly. They have a gorgeous garden. But requires a reservation. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The atmosphere is lovely, especially the outdoor seating, which is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was quite bland and felt tailored to tourist tastes. The flavors didn’t really come together, and it lacked the authenticity we were hoping for. Disappointing, as we had looked forward to trying this place. :/

We didn’t stay at the apartments, we were just here for dinner. We had the “Torre di Carne” and some dessert, it was absolutely fantastic, with equally fantastic service in a beautiful location and atmosphere. This will be our new go-to spot every time we’re at Lake Garda, even if we have to drive an hour from the other side because it’s totally worth it!

Loved this restaurant so much that we ended up going three times on our week-long holiday. Professional and friendly service, sublime food (we tried several different things during out three visits, and everything was incredible), and absolutely beautiful interior and ambiance. You are not rushed either - your table is yours for the evening. Absolutely highly recommended!

Delicious big bowls of pasta. Service was also great and our waiter was super friendly and took the time to explain all the pastas despite losing his voice after surgery. Lovely vibe inside.

What a beautiful winery. Family treated us very well and made it a great pleasant experience. The wines were very good and the cheese comes from a local farmer in town. A must to stop here. So relaxing and beautiful

Great wines in a cosy garden. We had the wine tasting with some antipasti. Service was very friendly and the waiter gave us some information about each of the different wines and how they're produced. Grab a taxi or an e-bike for the visit.

Came for the wine tasting and food pairing and we absolutely loved it. The setting is stunning, the service was friendly and personal and the wine and food was of very high quality. I would recommend trying the homemade limoncello also, delish!

Our wine tasting experience was amazing, our host was so knowledgeable about the natural wine making process and the wines we tried. We were so lucky to be the only people there before they close on Saturday (1 November) until April. Sampled 7 amazing wines paired with delicious food, all from or very local to their location, in a beautiful setting. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We did their simple tasting and we were beyond impressed, we wished we could have stayed longer. The family and servers are incredibly friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The location feels rustic and authentic. We were also permitted to walk around the vineyard with our glasses in hand, with breath taking views of lake Garda from atop the hill. Beautiful organic wines, it was the highlight of our trip.

What a beautiful place, we are so happy we went! The wines are truly special, taking you on a journey. They are all organic and produced with traditional methods by passionate wine makers and you can tell. The food with the tasting was great, too. Quite frankly, the zucchini marmalade deserves a 5 star review on its own. The location is beautiful and full of love as well, as is everything here. I highly recommend visiting this lovely place and spending some time, enjoying the wines, food, and beautiful location, you won't regret it.

Visitors can enjoy generous tastings with speck, cheese, and crackers while taking in the beautiful views from the modern facilities.
We had an amazing time on our tour. Davide was very knowledgeable and interesting. He took time to explain everything which made the tasting even better! The tasting itself was fabulous. Such delicious wines - and nice complementary snacks to enhance the wine. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

We had a very nice time visiting the winery. They had speck, cheese and a variety of crackers for us and offered very generous pours of many wine samples. We found the wine to be very good considering the prices which for one wine started at just 4.50 euro. We took a tour of the celler and facilities which are very new and modern. The upstairs had wonderful views. I recommend a visit you will be very happy if you visit.

A nice tasting, the wines are the stars. Our host spoke good English. It is a tasting room, as opposed to sit-down garden. We booked ahead. They had a small plate of delicious cheese, salumi and crackers. They offer options for tasting, we tasted through the 3 chiarettos on offer, plus two whites and three reds. There were more reds available if that is your thing. I would definitely go back.

Nestled in the heart of Bardolino, Winery Costadoro is a charming family-run establishment that embodies the warmth and friendliness of its staff. Although our wine tasting experience was somewhat brief due to many wines being sold out, we were delighted to find an ample selection of prosecco and sparkling wines still available.
Great atmosphere. Good wines, especially recommend “light” one - Ariel rosato frizzante & Brio bianco frizzante for hot summer. Red barrel Wine Broi 365 with it deep intense taste is fantastic! You can also buy Olive oil from Costadoro, believe me you won’t regret. Special thanks to a lovely lady on a cash desk.

I had a rather disappointing experience at this Italian pizza restaurant. My family of five was seated, but for the first 30 minutes, we were completely ignored by the staff. There was no acknowledgment or assurance that someone would attend to us soon. Frustrated, we all got up and left. Surprisingly, the front-of-house staff seemed almost pleased to see us go. While the service was far from satisfactory, I must admit that I believe the food had the potential to be delicious. It's unfortunate that the restaurant's lack of attentiveness overshadowed what could have been a tasty meal. This place may not be very tourist-friendly based on our experience, but if you're willing to take a chance for the food, it might be worth it.

Not a single bad thing I can say and plenty of superlatives. You can choose several (non-pre-baked!) pieces of “Blechpizza” (rectangular pizza on a tray), which has a slightly thicker crust or just get a regular round pizza of a single type. They even had a pizza Hawaii on the menu – I can respect a pizza maker who is not afraid to put such a pizza on the menu in Italy without fearing being beaten to death (and no, I didn’t choose this one, even though I like it) – shows a strong resolve no matter what “the people” around you might think. :) To me it was the best pizza I had during my stay around Lake Garda. The place is quite small and located in the less tourist-occupied part of Bardolino and the staff are very friendly.

We completed our two week vacation in Italy, and my husband and I both agreed that Taverna del Borgo was our favorite dinner experience! Mark and Claudio were both so nice and they took time to get to know us. Their food was exceptional and the tiramisu… no words can describe. I will be dreaming of it for years to come. Service was Great and Ambiente cozy 👍🏼 Drinks: Gin & Tonic and vino Bianco Frizzante were very refreshing. Food: We ordered an antipasti plate as first course (big portion)- very tasty. But the bread was so extremely dry it felt like a rusk to bite into… Main dish was Tuna - really delicious and fried just perfect. Dessert: Pistachio Selifreddo, the bought sauces on top completely destroyed the nice flavor of the ice…

I do not recommend this place Ordered T-bone steak medium. it came 3 minutes after I ordered it and was raw nearer the bone and well done further sway from the bone. About 1cm thick. Vegetables ordered along were potatoes which came cold and were about 3-4 days old and mushy, soaked up with oil. Pre cooked spinach came cold. When told the waiter he took it and microwaved it quickly and brought it back. Wine recommended was also sub standard.

Ristorante Costadoro is a peaceful lakeside eatery that offers a variety of well-known dishes like pasta and polenta. Situated in a serene venue with garden seating, it provides a 5-star service. The menu features intriguing appetizers, first courses, and main courses with an excellent selection of both meat and fish options. Dining amidst the olive trees in the garden creates an ambiance reminiscent of the Garda hills.
A beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and we were given lots of complimentary drinks. The food was delicious as well. They had us seated in the outdoor area, while we were there it was quiet.

Worst tartar I’ve ever had – and the service was even worse. We were welcomed by a male waiter who seated us, took our order, and served the first course. When he cleared the plates, he noticed I hadn’t finished my tartar and asked if something was wrong. I politely explained that the flavor was good, but the meat had large, chewy pieces full of sinew. He simply nodded and said, “yes, the pieces are a bit big,” with no apology or concern. He came back once more to serve the main course — but gave the wrong dish to each person at the table without saying anything or offering an apology. After that, he never returned to our table. No one asked if we wanted drinks with the main course. No one offered dessert. No one checked in on us again. As it got darker, the staff turned on the table lamps for all the other guests — but since he was avoiding us, we had to turn on our own table lamp. When we had finished eating, a female server cleared the table and we asked her for the bill. Nothing happened. After about 10 minutes, we went inside and asked again — that’s when she said “tavolo,” indicating she had understood and would bring it. Still nothing. We had to go inside a fourth time, and finally the original male waiter brought the bill — nearly 20 minutes after we first asked. He casually blamed the delay on the waitress not speaking English well. But that excuse doesn’t hold up when he, who clearly speaks English, deliberately ignored us after we gave polite feedback on the food. The entire two-course meal took 2.5 hours, even though the restaurant only had 8–10 tables occupied. No apology. No follow-up. No drink refills. No dessert offer. The food was average, and the poor, dismissive service turned it into a disappointing and frustrating experience.

Very good food at a reasonable price. Service was quick but quite unfriendly - asked if they had a kids menu and he responded just a flat ‘no’. Glasses had a moth in - no apology. Just generally a bit abrupt

⸻ We arrived shortly after 7 PM and were seated promptly. We ordered a starter and a main course. The freshwater fish from Lake Garda was full of bones, and the beef tartare my partner ordered was nearly inedible – the meat was poorly cut, with large, chewy chunks that were impossible to eat. We politely mentioned this, but were met with a hostile look and a waiter who became visibly annoyed and arrogant. After that, we had to wait an hour for our main course. When it finally arrived, it was slammed onto the table by the same grumpy waiter. We weren’t asked if we wanted more drinks, even though our glasses were empty, and no one checked in to ask how the food was. The waiter ignored us completely for the rest of the evening – we suspect he may have been the owner. When our plates were cleared, we asked directly for the bill. We waited 15 minutes with no sign of it, then went inside to ask again. We were told the waiter would come immediately, but after another 10 minutes, we had to go in a third time. This time, they claimed they didn’t speak English and didn’t understand. Overall, the service was absolutely terrible – the worst we’ve ever experienced. Rude staff, a sulking owner, and zero hospitality. We’ll never return and strongly recommend others stay away. Worst service!

We got our food very fast. They have this House Spritz. Wow that was absolutely fantastic! So so so so good! It is also possible to get it without alcohol. The restaurant is located in a beautiful area, very quied and next to a wine garden. We would definetely reccomend it!

Restaurant
Al Germano Reale is an outstanding eatery with a diverse selection of dishes. While they offer delicious pizzas, they also provide fantastic burgers, steaks, lasagne, and fish for those seeking variety. The Guilt head fish dish in particular is highly recommended due to its superb bream. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere laid-back, complemented by complimentary aperitifs, bread, and Grissini.
Really good local restaurant. After ordering you get a drink on the house a small apéritif. They had most of the common pizzas you would want and even taste well. It is an affordable place with free Wi-Fi which is nice since the mobile coverage in this area isn't too great. We didn't finish our pizzas and they asked if we would want to get it packed in a pizza box so she took our plates and came back with the box really friendly staff. Would easily recommend.

Al Germano Reale is a great restaurant! My family and I were in lake Garda for about a week. We eat at Al Germano Reale 2 times . The dinner was delicious! A lots of food options. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant is located in front of the lake . My kids enjoy eating there and playing outside after dinner. I really recommend this restaurant. The employees are very friendly and chef is very creative. I love the food !

Superb restaurant. A broad menu. Yes there's Pizzas but also great burgers, steaks, lasagne and fish (if you fancy a change from Pizza). The Guilt head fish dish, a fine bream, is highly recommended. Friendly staff and and relaxed atmosphere, with complimentary aperitif, bread and Grissini. Set back a little from the lake, but a great venue. Returned again, after trying others; it has attentive service but is not fast food. After ordering steak, we were served a great complimentary bruschetta, before the superb succulent filet steak arrived. The fries are also something a little bit special. BTW. the WiFi is great also, which with limited network coverage, for O2 and Vodafone in this area, is a great bonus.

Absolutely a great place. Good food, service and warm-hearted staff. We have been there many times and will keep coming.

First of all drinks. We wanted glass of prosseco and they brought white wine (the house wine) that they are pouring from the carton. For the starters we have ordered mixed cheese plate for 12 eur. I will not jugde cheese but for 12 eur they brought 4 pieces of 4 different cheeses. Chesse quality was really not worth it this price. For the main dish, we have ordered grilled mixed fish for 2 persons so total 50 eur. For this you get 1 dorada, 2 st. jacques, 2 langustines and calamari. Full price is 50eur! I mean for this price it is cheaper to get taxi to bordolino eat there and go back. You will get better quality. I am not talking about food quality but it is not wow, you get everywhere the same. In this place it is just overpriced.

Day 4

Keep it simple
For day 4, these 7 places should be enough to fill your day with something exciting to do in Bardolino. Start the day with La ruota di Bardolino and make your way through the city to get to Ottolenghi House. This should take about 7 hours of your day.

The Ruota panoramica a Bardolino, while offering an enjoyable experience, may seem slightly overpriced considering the duration of the ride. However, aside from this factor, it presents a pleasant opportunity for both adults and children alike to appreciate the surrounding vistas. It is worth noting that admission costs 7 euros for adults and 5 euros for children. Overall, this tourist attraction provides a visually pleasing experience despite its relatively higher pricing in relation to time spent on the ride.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful day at Lake Garda in the Bardolino wine festival. We went by bus and I think it's definitely the best way to get there to be able to enjoy the day to the fullest. I give 3 stars because as much as it deserves and I would go back, the choice of wines at the stalls is not exactly excellent. So, let's say if you want to drink, there's as much as you want, but if you want to taste wine it's not exactly the right place. For the rest I will return and recommend it (Original) Una bella giornata al lago di Garda nella festa del vino di Bardolino. Siamo andati in corriera e penso sia decisamente il modo migliore per arrivarci per potersi godere la giornata al meglio. It has gained high praise across various review platforms, including winning the TripAdvisor Travelers Choice award for 2022.
It was one of the best fine food we have Italy , very good prosseco and red wine with a service that can make other restaurants jealous ! Cleanliness and promptitude mix with a lot of food art !

While on holiday in lake Garda we found this little restaurant ,down a quieter side street in Bardolino . With tables and chairs set out on the pavement and lovely outdoor lighting it was the perfect spot for dinner , nice and quiet . The food was amazing , the fresh fish from the lake was delicious as were the pasta dishes and desserts . Lovely Bardolino wine and great service from our waiter Sacha. We liked it so much we went back three times during our stay !

Our go to Osteria in Bardolino. There are so many good quality restaurants here, so raising that bar is not easy. Situated next to a wine bar in a very airy, secluded side street, this husband and wife team consistently put out excellent local food of a very high standard. A very good wine list compliments the food here. This is the only restaurant we visit more than once when holidaying in Bardolino. Happy to report our very recent visits resulted in nothing but more plaudits. The monkfish Tagliatelle is easily the best seafood dish I've eaten in all out trips to the Lago. See you again in July 25 Very highly recommended 👌 And, advise you book in advance.

Fabulous!! The best meal we’ve had in Lake Garda. The waiter was attentive and so polite. We shared the chicken parfait starter - so rich and lovely. Then Monkfish tagliatelle and lamb ragout tagliatelle- both amazing. For desserts millefeuille with strawberries and amaretto semifreddo - both divine. Don’t understand why more English people don’t eat here - you’re missing something so typically Italian rather than the tourist traps. Grazie mille.

Very disappointing and disrespectful experience. We were only allowed to choose from three pizzas, which were cold and tasted old. About 15 minutes after we finished, other guests arrived and were given the full menu – something we never received. It felt like we were not welcome or valued as customers. Completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this place.
