Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Gardaland Resort is a renowned amusement park located in Castelnuovo del Garda, Verona. Established in 1975, it has gained international recognition and is considered one of the top amusement parks globally. Situated on the shores of Lake Garda, it spans 46 hectares and features a wide array of attractions and themed areas suitable for all ages. The park offers numerous shows daily, themed restaurants, and beautifully landscaped surroundings.
Gardaland Park offers an intense and unforgettable experience for the entire family. As evidenced by the fact that two days were not enough to do everything, the park's enormous size guarantees an endless variety of attractions and activities. Convenience and accessibility are the name of the game at Gardaland. Entry is exceptionally fast, and within the park, you’ll find food stalls and restaurants on every corner, so there’s always a place to rest and eat. Additionally, the park is technologically advanced and offers two useful apps: one for easy navigation inside the park and another for downloading photos taken on the rides, which adds to the experience and provides fun souvenirs. The variety of attractions is indeed for all ages, but it's important to note that most rides are suited for those 100 cm (3.3 ft) tall and above. Therefore, it's wise to plan accordingly. Even so, the park provides a diverse experience for both parents and children. As mentioned, the most worthwhile option is to purchase tickets directly at the box office. In conclusion, Gardaland is a highly recommended destination. It's a very enjoyable experience for parents and children, and it is highly recommended to take two days if possible, to have enough time to enjoy everything this vast place has to offer.

We had an absolutely fabulous day at the Gardaland! You feel like in a fairytale, and all the roller coasters are very exciting! 😍 I recommend going on a (rainy) weekday, so the queues are shorter and you manage to see everything. Feel free to skip the Jumanji Adventure ride though, it’s not quite worth a 40+ minute wait.
Anastasiia K — Google review
Another amazing amusememt park for kids and older as well. Rides get pretty busy with the nice weather, like in every resort. I wish there was a better overview what each ride offers - we waited 90 minutes for Jumanji adventure, which was absolutely no advanture plus it was all in Italian. Other than that, only 4 rides required height over 140, few over 130. Make sure to check these requirements before going. Also, buying tickets outside od the official venue office is cheaper so look for those selling points in the city.
Katja T — Google review
We visited Gardaland on a Wednesday and had an amazing time! 🎢 The waiting time for each ride was less than 15 minutes, which made the whole experience super smooth. The official app showing live queue times was very helpful — it helped us plan our route efficiently and enjoy more rides. The park is clean, beautifully themed, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and organized, and there were plenty of food options and rest areas. Both the kids and adults had a blast — from the thrilling roller coasters to the fun family attractions. Highly recommend visiting on a weekday if possible — short queues, great atmosphere, and so much fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yan Z — Google review
I am sure that a family would love this place...my wife and stayed at the Gardaland hotel, and rode the bus to the park in the morning (bus runs every 16 minutes) We love roller coasters and these did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the park is very well cared for (it's clean!) over all a great experience.
Paul R — Google review
Fantastic for kiddies as there is a great balance of calmer rides with ease of motion while still holding very good production value. The adult rides too are equally fantastic. I hold the overall experience below Europa park however and wouldn't go too far out of my way to visit it.
Aaron C — Google review
So much fun, there's something for everyone. We also went during weekday in October, there was minimal queue and wait time even on popular rides. Absolutely recommended visiting if you have kids and are in the area.
Hendy O — Google review
The park is beautiful, maintenance is superb, all clean, well taken care of. Halloween decoration was super nice! Prices are very high as usual in amusement parks. Rides are really exiting with many options.

Campeggio del Garda

Holiday park
Campeggio del Garda is a spacious campsite located right on the water's edge, just a short walk from the historic center of Peschiera del Garda. It offers various accommodation options including tent and campervan spaces, affordable mobile homes, and bungalows. The campsite features two swimming pools, an on-site restaurant, and a shop for convenience.
Nice camping village in very good location. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Air conditioner was quieter than in previous mobile homes I have visited. We stayed in a mobile home with three bedrooms (32sq m). Car can be parked in front of the house. Location in walk distance to Pechiera dep Garda city centre. Very nice playground for kids, animation team and program every day, pool and 24/7 reception.
Kristen T — Google review
Beautiful area and many great restaurants just a short walk away in Peschiera. The accomodation was clean and spacious for a family of 5. The on-site restaurant was great for lunch or dinner. Nice pool and plenty activities for young children and teenagers alike.
Alan M — Google review
We had a great week here as a family of 4. Great location, brilliant swimming pool, relaxed atmosphere. Great little shop on site. Only thing is that it can get a bit noisy from other guests and/ or neighbouring campsites.
Adam W — Google review
Second time here. Place is super. Great location. Staff are very friendly. Brilliant for kids and families. Only complaint was how they increased their price's. Last year (2024), a pint of beer was €4.50 at the disco. This year a 3/4 of a pint is €5, even though a full pint is €5 in the restaurant and pool bar. A mouth full of wine is €4. Either increase price's or lower the size of the product, but don't do both. To clarify, I'm not a big drinker, just like a cold pint on my holidays.
Robbie B — Google review
Tidy holiday camp. Cabin we had was excellent, there are lots of options so choose wisely. Pool was clean and well maintained/supervised. Shop on site was good. Decent location. If you see any images with a beach that’s total rubbish. There is no beach down there at all. Couple of stony/pebble areas on waterfront. Lake is great for fishing and swimming, pedallo hire etc. would stay again.
Mark M — Google review
Very friendly staff, and small but convenient houses perfect for a family stay. Beware that towels and bed linen is not included and you must bring them yourself or rent them on check in. There is a warm blanket in the closets that we did not notice until our second night. The location is prime and while the houses are not huge they have everything you need for a short stay. Chose them for convenience as they were super close to Gardaland. Would definitely recommend and return
K. M — Google review
It's an excellent camping. Water, sewer, toilets, showers, Wi-Fi. Big lots for your camper. Lots had a little mud is it rained before. Camping is next to the lake. We paid €30 for two people and a motorhome. It's very quiet, we woke up because the birds were singing.
Anita M — Google review
The place was clean and cosy. The air-conditioning unit was a lifesaver. Yes there was construction going on nearby but the house was soundproof, so we weren't inconvenienced at all. We were provided with some essentials like, shower gel and detergent. But for an easier, more comfortable stay i do recommend taking the following items; a sponge for washing dishes, extra trash bags, extra toilet paper, hand soap, kitchen or paper towels, salt, sugar, oil, towels and bedsheets (though you can rent the latter 2 from the camp).

One of my favourite place to visit. Stunning views and lovely people. It’s just a small town. Everyone is laid back. Will definitely be back again.

Gourgous old area of town, lovely walks and atmosphere. Great history to be discovered also. The walk along the canal part is lovely, and there’s a great places to eat and shop in the built up part. Thumbs up.

Visited Porta Verona recently and despite the crowd, its beauty truly stood out. The impressive stone archway, steeped in history, offers a grand entrance into the heart of the city. Even with the busy atmosphere, the architectural elegance and timeless character of the gate made it worth the visit. It’s a great spot for photos and a perfect starting point for exploring the surrounding streets. A must-see for history lovers and anyone who appreciates classic Italian design.

Ports Verona at Lake Garda is a charming haven where the serene beauty of the lake meets the elegance of Italian architecture. Picture cobblestone streets lined with quaint shops and vibrant cafes, where every corner invites you to pause and savor the moment. The harbor, a mosaic of boats bobbing gently in the water, frames a backdrop of rolling hills and lush landscapes. As the sun sets, casting a golden glow over the lake, the area transforms into a picturesque canvas of reflection and tranquility. Here, the gentle lapping of waves and the soft murmur of conversation blend seamlessly, creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and intimate.

Pizza restaurant
Vecchia Marina is a charming dining spot that offers a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. With tables spaced comfortably apart, it’s an inviting place to enjoy your meal outdoors, even on humid nights. The menu features delicious pizzas and well-prepared children's dishes, making it family-friendly. While some diners found the prices slightly high compared to other options in the area—especially for drinks—the quality of food remains enjoyable.
Beautiful place with great food. We liked everything and the service was very nice. I would definitely visit this place again. Also, although I don't know how to spell it, "Millie" was a welcome addition to our great dinner. Message: you're doing well 👍
Zdeněk G — Google review
Instead of bolognese for the baby, waitress brought us pasta with tomatoes, so when we said we didn't order that, she said we did and rolled her eyes, then she returned the same pasta with tomato with added some meat inside. The bread was burnt. I ordered Coca Cola in a can and received it in a glass. Waitress who looks a little bit fatter was unpleasant, the second, yunger one was ok. Meal passable.

Gluten free pasta and gluten free beer available. DJ was playing in the garden. Playground for kids.
Kristen T — Google review
We had dinner in this restaurant and they offer a good list of Italian dishes Lila pastas, pizzas, but also some fish and meat items too. The food was better than expected, quite tasty and of a good quality. What was a concern is the atmosphere, because the place has quite a nice terrace area to eat and enjoy the evening, but the tables are scattered all over, all different types and with plastic or metallic chairs. Also there is quite a number of mosquitos, which is not the restaurant’s fault, but you need to be aware of. The servers do a great job to support and serve you well. But just the overall vibe is not an impressive one. But they have a small play area for kids, thus it is a plus if you need it. If you look for an uncomplicated option - choose this place. But do not expect a super romantic vibe here.
Darya N — Google review
We wanted an easy dinner after a long day before heading back to our campsite, without walking into the town so went here from a convenience point. A good price to quality ratio on the food, you will and can get better however we had an enjoyable relaxed dinner sat outside one evening. Pizza and children's dishes were good, fair drinks offer. No complaints and family friendly

Antonio and his team were exceptionally. I was recently visiting the lake with a group of 20 students and we ate here twice. The service was speedy, efficient and the food was delicious. Freshly prepared and fantastic sized portions. Whether with a group or with my family I will definitely be back to see Antonio and team. The large table that seated us all together was a bonus! Grazie mille!

Bad experience for us unfortunately. Staff not friendly only the basics.. food average to be fair. I see many reply from the business .. we come from restaurant business we know our stuff .. and the cherry on the cake our spot was full of wasps .. impossible to eat .. staff see but not one does a thing.. when the time came to take away the plates the waitress was AFRAID and run away but you leave your guests with kids .. ended up eating standing up .. overall bad sorry. Nice live music funny songs to match the evening.. "such a shame" "relax don't do it" freakin brilliant ! Edit : after answer from owner .. pure lies... Unbelievable behaviour but after the experience it does not surprise me. Double edit No no no, you are abusing tourists, families here for pleasure and have a good time do you think this is what I want for my evening ?? Come on take responsibilities for you bad attitude and service ! And you are lying !!!! Amazing behaviour better and better !! Why were you burning coffee next to the table ? Didn't any of you heard my 2 daughters scared as hell ?? No you guys just IGNORED !!!!!!!! and when we left I saw you burning even more of it !! Don't lie like this ! Be professional apologize, acknowledge and move on ! AVOID PEOPLE GIVE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

First off this looked like a very nice place to have dinner, the outdoor seating looked very nice and there was a safe playground for our children so we decided to give it a go. Unfortunately not many other things were positive about our experience: I ordered a filet steak with bearnaise sauce but the meat was so chewy I doubt it even was a real filet. On top of that there was a hair in my food and worse thing was that the bearnaise sauce was not fresh made but just from a tube! The red wine we ordered was also way too warm, nowhere near the ideal 16-18 degrees you should serve red wine. This was more like 25 degrees or more... I had to put an ice cube in it to get at least some of the taste. There was also a live DJ with vinyl records playing music. Although the playlist was really good (80's hits) the music was WAY too loud. You sometimes had to shout at the table to understand eachother. Too bad we had such a bad experience as I believe they can do so much better and improve a lot.

Restaurant
Mida's Stube offers a great price-to-quality ratio. While its ambiance may not resemble that of an Italian restaurant, it does have ample seating and can accommodate all guests. The place is ideal for dinner as it quickly fills up with more customers. The service is prompt, and their spaghetti carbonara is one of the best around. However, their lasagne is quite standard and lacks portion size. Nonetheless, the restaurant provides a pleasant atmosphere to relax while enjoying a view of Garda Lake.
Very good food, good and fast service. Plus, they have really nice Halloween decorations
Silvian C — Google review
Decided to have pasta and revisited a restaurant I enjoyed last year while on holiday. This time, though, it wasn’t as good as I remembered. My pasta was alright, but the sauce was overcooked and way too thick. My husband had the seafood pasta and thought it was just okay, while my friend’s salad looked the best of the three meals. We sat inside due to the humidity, but we couldn’t get a table in the preferred area since they were all reserved. Strangely, no one occupied those tables while we were there. If you go, definitely book ahead to choose where you sit. We ended up in a large room with stagnant air, which wasn’t ideal. Last year, I gave this place a glowing review, so maybe it was just an off night.
Connie T — Google review
Lovely meat platters, good food all-round. Service was very quick and lacked finesse at times, sitting outside was brilliant with a view of the lake, inside was hot. Good kids area.
Caroline R — Google review
This was our choice for dinner on the lake Garda, because the kids wanted some chicken or meat, different from pasta and pizza. My lasagne was excellent!

I’ve never eaten a worse burger than what I was served there, I ordered medium rare, what I got was a joke, so overcooked it was like a slab of gray "something", absolutely disgusting. Waiters don’t speak any English whatsoever therefore I strongly advise not to eat there, to be entirely honest, I would call it the worst restaurant in garda, I tried more than a few places around there, not a single one had worse food than this place, for the love of god stay away from this restaurant

The food came surprisingly fast and was worth every cent. Fast service, good food, and fair prices. No complaint in the slightest.

Good price for quality. The restaurant doesnt have much in common with italian outlook, however there are plenty of seats and for sure you will find a place for you. We came by for dinner, few minutes later more and more guests arrived. Fast service. One of the best spaghetti carbonara i have ever eaten. Lasagne rather standard one. Pity there wasnt more on the plate. Nice place to chill out with the view of Garda lake. Could be five stars but we waited for quite a long time for the bill eventually i went to the counter and paid. The staff didn't ask if we liked the food or whatsoever so this could be improved. All in all it's worth visiting.

The first day we came here it was closed and we are so glad we came back again. The food and the service is excellent. Chef Fabio came to take our orders himself. Very friendly good looking guy! High quality olive oil, generous serving of truffles on the pasta, wonderfully seared tuna, one of the best sea bass I ever had and such exquisite desserts - pistachio creme brûlée and “the egg” which you cut open and it looks like a real egg with egg white and yolk. Note: the pasta and the tuna are half portions as they were very kind to split them into 2 for me and my wife.

Great food and atmosphere. Our little family ate pesto pasta, mushroom pasta and sea bass quattro formaggi pizza, and everyone was satisfied. One of the best tiramisu’s we have eaten!! We went here only because it was nearby our apartment, but it was good experience.
Ieva L — Google review
We really enjoyed our meal at La Cometta. The service was friendly and efficient. The meals were fresh, homemade and delicious. I had the seafood pasta from the specials menu. The sauce was delicious, it was packed with seafood and was a very generous portion size. The tiramisu was creamy and delicious, you could tell it was homemade. The rest of the family ordered calzone, pizza, pasta bolognese and pasta carbonara and all were very tasty. Compared to restaurants in Peschiera centre, everything was very reasonably priced. Just a shame we only came across the restaurant in our last night, or we would have been back to try other dishes from the menu. A great restaurant!

What a beautiful friendly restaurant, very attentive staff , spacious eating area, very clean toilets and kitchens , English isn't brilliant but better than my Italian . We ate out a lot during our two weeks but so wished we found this first, for 2 starters , 2 large pizza's, 1 litre of house white ( which was really lovely) and a beer for €40 or £35 ish cracking value . We will return . Ps if you've ever eaten at the pizza place at del garda village which was truly disgusting, the staff and the so called chefs should eat here to see how you do Italian food properly .

Castello Scaligero di Sirmione is a unique 13th-century castle located at the entrance of Sirmione, surrounded by water and offering stunning views of the lake. Originally built for defense, it now houses historical artifacts and exhibitions that provide insight into Sirmione's rich history. The castle features three entrance doors, three towers, and a keep with an impressive height of 47 meters.
This is an amazing castle protecting a beautiful little town. The views from the top of the castle are outstanding and the history of the castle is fascinating. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Parking can be difficult as it’s a very busy area, we used Grif Parking which was only about 350m from the castle and reasonably priced.

We visited the magnificent Scaligero Castle in Sirmione 🏰, a truly unforgettable experience! Walking along the walls and admiring Lake Garda 🏞️ was something unique. . The towers and ramparts offer breathtaking views, a real spectacle! I highly recommend a visit to this gem, a wonder not to be missed! The entrance ticket costs €8 / person #CastelloScaligero #Sirmione #LakeGarda #Italy 🇮🇹❤️💯👌 25.09.2025

The Scaligero Castle is magnificent! Walking over the drawbridge and exploring the grounds felt like stepping back in time. Highly recommend it for its history and beautiful photo opportunities.

This castle is unique because of the moat. You can take a boat tour around it too. View is beautiful and on weekends you can pay extra to go into the moat(dock) area, see photo for timings.

Beautifully arranged town, full of flowers and greenery. The castle itself is very well preserved. It is best to come in the morning as soon as it opens (between 8:30 and 9 a.m.) because then there is almost no crowd at all. After visiting the castle, you can walk around Sirmione, have a drink, have breakfast, enjoy the view of the lake full of ducks.
Katarina L — Google review
Very cool place to visit. There is only one road in and out so be ready for traffic. Parking can also be a problem as well. We did have to wait a bit to get onto the parking lot. It is just a place to visit for a day trip. I would spend more than a day around there as it is very small and crowded.
Arthur J — Google review
When we stood on top of the castle, we looked around in awe! What a perfect strategic location it was, together with the romantic scenery of the lake and mountains. Later, we found out online that it was built in the 13th century by the Scaligeri family of Verona. It was not only a fortress for defense but also served as a military harbor on Lake Garda. Walking inside, you can truly feel the power of its massive stone walls and sense the military strength of those who once ruled here. It is absolutely worth climbing up close to sunset.

A very beautiful and well-maintained castle surrounded by a majestic fortress wall. You can choose between a variety of gelaterias, or take a motorboat ride around the peninsula. The only downside is if it rains heavily and there is nowhere to take shelter.

The Archaeological site of Grotte di Catullo, located on the Sirmione peninsula in northern Italy, is a significant Roman villa dating back to the 1st century BC. Despite its name, it's not a cave but rather the remains of a grand Roman domus. While traditionally associated with the poet Catullus, there's uncertainty about this claim.
Museum is very small with few exhibits but the Grotte is amazing! Very large and the free audio really brings it to life. *Note the audio download is recommended to download from hotel wifi. It’s rather large and signal is 4g 2 bars Really enjoyed this site which is pretty cheap. Do also be aware if you plan to do the regional 1,2,3 site you can get a discount ticket. We only found this after the visit but 🤷‍♂️ all good.

If you can, book a local hotel to fully enjoy this place. If amazingly beautiful, but we were with our kids and this place requires a lot of walking, specially if the parking lots close to the old city entrance are full. We don’t regret anything, even parking far the visit was amazing. Just next time we will book a local hotel so we can stay more and walk less.
Luciano K — Google review
Incredible site to visit if you’re at all interested in history! The museums fairly small but contains a lot of interesting artifacts. The actual archeological site is well excavated and uncovered, so it is easy to move around and view the different buildings. Unfortunately the audio guide was not an option as I had to look after kids - so I cannot comment on it. On the topic of kids; be ready to carry them a lot, a lot of steep stairs and places to get hurt - but at the same time very kid friendly as they are free to explore. Would, and will, visit again!

Another attraction highly recommended if in Sirmione. Either walk or take an electronic train ride (from Terme) to the ticket station. The ruins are spread over a bugger space then I thought and there are lots of olive and fir trees and spectacular views. Peaceful and tranquil too. After the visit, you can walk down towards Jamaica beach as well.
Sarah S — Google review
The ruins are relatively interesting but what made this place special for us were the spectacular views of the lake. Alongside the ruins, it is worth visiting here just for the stunning views.

If you'll walk through this magnifiyplacs and think that people who build it and some who lived there didn't even heard about Jesus walking on the earth. Scale od PRIVATE villa build 2000years ago is unbeliy. Evidebyof some great work, architecture and art. Also the location and the view is thrilling.
Tomasz L — Google review
It is a very beautiful place. History is there. It is located just near the lake and gives inspiration to people. Everyone who visits Sirmione must see this place too.
Feridun A — Google review
Huge archeological site and museum. The excavations are phenomenal and can be accessed easily by following the tour itinerary. There is some stair climbing involved, but nothing bad. The views over Lake Garda are grand. Im my mind, I compared the Grotto a bit to King Herod's fortress Massada in the vicinity of the Dead Sea. The worst part is getting there. One has to fight slow moving tourist masses in the Old Town of Sirmione. It can take more than 30 minutes from the parking lots to the Grotto site.

Chiesa di San Pietro in Mavino is a medieval stone church located on Mavino hill, the oldest church in Sirmione dating back to the 8th century A.D. Surrounded by gardens, cypresses, and olive trees, it offers an atmosphere of peace and silence despite its proximity to the busy historic town center. The church is known for its frescoes and bell tower and is situated near the Grottoes of Catullus.
Wonderful small church set high above lake Garda with beautiful views . The church has amazing frescoes and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. Outside is the huge la Julia bell and war memorial commemorating the fallen of the 2 wars and particularly the 9th September 1943 when Italy surrendered to the Allies. There is also a field gun in the grounds.

This was a little off the main track, but worth it when we got there. Beautiful ancient church building, with wonderful restored frescos and structure. It has an amazing history and location. No cost to enter and stand for a while. (I wonder why they don’t have the description boards in more than one language? I can read about it online, but it would help.)

La Chiesa di San Pietro in Mavino is the oldest church in Sirmione and was built in the 8th century. It is small, but stunning inside and has beautiful frescoes around the internal walls. It was very quiet, peaceful and was a delight to visit.

A piece of paradise at the top of Sirmione town. The area is likely to be quiet as it's not known by many tourists, maybe because of its steep approach. Chiesa di San Pietro is surrounded by olive trees and tells stories from different periods of history. This little church was built in the 8th century.⏳ It’s a serene place to visit now, a great escape from the busy streets of Sirmione. The peaceful music inside helps you to breathe the atmosphere and enjoy sitting there for a couple of minutes. There is no entrance fee and it is definitely worth a stop.

A lovely setting & fabulous old church simple decoration on the interior & wonderful stained glass. The poignant War Memorial is to the left of the church. Away from the crowds but only 800m from the centre & 200m from the Villa Catullo. Well worth a visit if in the area. Returned in 2022 & enjoyed every peaceful minute.

Lido Cappuccini is a popular shingle beach with water sports and casual outdoor dining. Loungers and umbrellas are available for rent. Despite some poor reviews, the beach offers clean water, is not overcrowded, and is close to amenities. It's recommended to bring water shoes for kids but it's not necessary. Paid parking that is affordable can be found nearby.
Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Garda, Lido Cappuccino Cafe beckons with promises of stunning views, delectable treats, and a relaxed atmosphere. During my recent visit to this enchanting destination, I had the pleasure of experiencing the charm and hospitality of Lido Cappuccino Cafe firsthand. Location and Ambiance: Situated right on the edge of Lake Garda, Lido Cappuccino Cafe boasts a prime location that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the shimmering waters and surrounding mountains. Whether you choose to sit indoors or on the spacious outdoor terrace, you're treated to an unforgettable backdrop that enhances the dining experience. The ambiance is laid-back and inviting, with comfortable seating, gentle breezes, and the soothing sounds of the lake providing the perfect setting for relaxation and indulgence. Service: From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the attentive staff who made me feel right at home. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service was prompt and courteous, with servers going above and beyond to ensure that every guest's needs were met. Whether it was recommending menu items, providing local insights, or simply engaging in friendly conversation, the staff at Lido Cappuccino Cafe epitomized hospitality at its finest. Cuisine: Lido Cappuccino Cafe offers a tempting array of Italian and international delights, ranging from freshly brewed coffee and refreshing cocktails to light snacks and indulgent desserts. I started my day with a steaming cup of cappuccino, which was expertly crafted and delivered the perfect balance of rich espresso and velvety foam. For a light bite, I sampled the bruschetta, which featured ripe tomatoes, fragrant basil, and drizzles of olive oil atop crusty bread—a true taste of Italy's vibrant flavors. As I lingered over my meal, I couldn't resist indulging in a slice of tiramisu, which was decadently delicious and the ideal ending to my lakeside dining experience. Price: While Lido Cappuccino Cafe offers a premium dining experience, the prices are reasonable considering the stunning location and quality of the food and service. Guests can expect to pay a bit more than at a typical cafe, but the value provided by the exceptional views and culinary offerings more than justifies the cost. Overall Impression: In conclusion, Lido Cappuccino Cafe is a true gem nestled along the shores of Lake Garda, offering a delightful blend of breathtaking scenery, impeccable service, and mouthwatering cuisine. Whether you're seeking a leisurely breakfast, a midday pick-me-up, or a romantic evening meal, this charming cafe delivers an unforgettable experience that will leave you longing to return. I wholeheartedly recommend Lido Cappuccino Cafe to anyone visiting Lake Garda, as it epitomizes the essence of la dolce vita—Italian living at its finest. Buon appetito!

Spent a day here, swimming and taking the sun. It's a lovely beach, small and not packed. Plenty of restaurants and ice cream sellers nearby. Beach beds are around €12 a day. Houses close to the beach are stunning...worth a look. Very relaxing away from the traffic.

Lovely little beach. We had one day on the beach. We hired sun lounges (comfiest I’ve ever had!) and sun umbrella right on the waters edge, cute family of ducks visiting people on the beach and surfing the waves :-) great beach bar for drinks and food.

Il Forte Dei Cappuccini is a charming restaurant located in a stylish terrace overlooking Lake Garda. The place offers delicious seafood risotto, pizza, and Veneto region wines. On market days, the cobbled lanes are bustling with shoppers, but visitors can escape to the pebbly beaches of Cappuccini, Bergamini, and Fornaci along the elegant promenade.
What a view! Absolutely amazing atmosphere. The food is very good, we had pizza and felt it absolutely is made with quality ingredients and made intentionally - not just slopped together in a haste. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Really went out of their way to make it a pleasant and nice experience. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Filip R — Google review
The best: the view. Definitely just worth the view 👌. It could be considered a romantic place just because of it. Loved and enjoyed the cheap house wine. Food was ok and small portions.
Sheyla A — Google review
Overall, the food was decent – the pizza was tasty and probably the best choice. The seafood dishes, however, were underwhelming. The grilled sea bream was ok, but nothing special. Service was an issue, while the food arrived quickly (sometimes too quickly), getting the attention of a waiter for anything else was surprisingly difficult. When we tried asking servers who weren’t directly assigned to our table, the responses were a bit unpleasa. A beautiful view of the lake helps make up for some of the downsides.

If you are looking for nice pizza on a terrace with a great view of the lake you can't go wrong here. It was busy the night we were there but we were seated and served quickly. The servers were friendly. Big selection of pizza along with other dishes. We all had pizzas which were very tasty. It's a busy restaurant and maybe there's a bit of "getting people in and out quickly", but we had no issues. If you want to sit right at the front overlooking the lake then probably best to reserve first.

A beautiful location. I thought because it was in such a popular place it might just be standard but we enjoyed it. What makes this place special is the staff. So attentive and fun. Ask them for recommendations- the prawn and zucchini dish was one - and it was delicious. It's a well run place and a lakeside table is just the best.

We went twice this week as our apartment was just up the road. The food was just ok. The prawns were not good in the prawn pasta, they tasted cheap and my husband said his pork steak wasn’t very nice. He is a butcher so knows his stuff. The grilled vegetables were raw and we couldn’t eat them. The salmon and dessert were nice. The first time we visited they brought us complimentary limoncellos. Tonight we spent nearly as much. (88 euros for 2 as opposed to 98 euros for 2 but no complimentary limoncello. Very disappointing. We saw a couple near us have a pizza each and a bottle of water, free limoncello! It is not the money involved but the feeling.🥲

Fantastic Restaurant for high quality fish dishes. From Oysters to raw Sicilian scampi, to langustine pasta, risotto Alla sepia.
Florin P — Google review
It all started well with a beer outside, compensating for the wrongly setup opening hours on google. Then things got wrong: While we can thank the fish itself for being well grown up, the staff, including the owner, ruined it. You have the feeling you take too much space and your ordering is bothering them. The food is not worth the price. It is handled without creativity, respect or the special care that could justify an overpriced menu. It looks to me like a place arranged to bring your one night stand, thinking that you will impress her by some raw fish. Do yourself a favor: check the way the owner is answering to negative reviews and translate that into the experience you will have there. That's the first time I go somewhere with a 4.5 stars ranking (as of today) and leave so much disappointed.
Brice R — Google review
I had a very bad experience there, we sat outside and the smoke from the nearby road was all over us, it was hard to breath.. when we asked to move to another place because of the smoke the waitress just said NO, and also her manager said the same. This place might have some good food but its hard to enjoy it with all the smoke, and the not so good service.

We ordered a plate of raw fish (excellent, very high quality) with tartare and tuna carpaccio (not the usual mini tartare or carpaccio tasting that you find in many other restaurants), very delicate and abundant, plus oysters and prawns. All very good. For the second course, a baked turbot with potatoes, olives and cherry tomatoes. Perfectly cooked and portioned in front. To accompany a good bottle of Lugana. All of excellent quality. Very kind and helpful service. Price commensurate with the quality and service (indeed... we thought we would spend a little more). Recommended. Not the usual, classic tourist restaurant in the centre of some tourist resort. If you are looking for peace and excellent food, go there! (Original) Ambiente rilassante con musica di sottofondo. La Plume is a great restaurant near Lake Garda! The food was delicious, fresh, and looked amazing. The place has a really nice atmosphere and the view is beautiful. Everything was just perfect. The only small thing I noticed is that the waitresses could smile a bit more — it would make the place feel even more welcoming. But the service was still good and everything went smoothly. Excellent dining experience in Peschiera! We were absolutely blown away by the turbot fish and octopus. Fried pizza as an appetizer is a great start and the cheesecake an amazing ending. The staff is nice, trained and quite fast. Pleasant atmosphere, lovely „indoor“ seating with a view of the lake. Reservation recommended.

Table of 2 adults 2 children, welcomed into the establishment by a friendly lady and seated in the back near the bar area, the restaurant filled up quickly after we had been seated, was a really good atmosphere. Our waiter was very helpful and explained several things to us and accommodated 1 of the dishes to suit 1 of our children. The food was well presented and all pleased with what we ate, very good quality dishes. The Limoncello Spritz was very nice. The Vietnamese dessert we had at the end of the meal was possibly the nicest dessert we had eaten the whole week we spent in Peschiera 5/5!!

We waited 15 mins or so for a table here but were seated fairly quickly. We had the fried pizza to start which was so tasty and really good value at €11. The pomodoro spaghetti was also delicious, as was the carbonara. However, the service here was poor. We were forgotten about in the corner, and received no bread but all the tables around us did. It was obvious that the staff were under pressure to turn tables as quickly as possible and we were hurried for our orders/plates being taken away.

Food was fine, but had some small issues, like the pizza being over salted. In comparison, the dessert was definitely the star of the evening. The mango ravioli with passion fruit and babà with limoncello were delicious and something not seen in other places. Their staff was nice and if you get lucky to be sat on the balcony - the view on the harbour is really nice.

Great vibe and atmosphere away from the throng in Peschiera. Loved the food, super pizza with fab crust, tiramasu was really nice, great friendly service, you can hear the vibrant chatter of an awesome bistro. Loved this place and would highly recommend it.

Very average food but the lake front view was amazing. If you are looking for delicious food, maybe not this place. But the prices were fair for the food and service. The pizza was thick, and salad was not that fresh but overall we still had a pleasant time.

Excellent fun burgers that where a certain colour depending on what filling you choose. Very very tasty and a nice Italian beer 🍺 Raffo. Our waitress was super friendly and had a great smile 😃. The tiramisu was homemade and also delicious 😋 as was the cheesecake 😋. Recommended. 👍

We went here with a big family. 11 person. They immediately put 4 table together for us. Everyone is so kind and helpful. The food and desserts were amazing. The music is great in the background and it’s just a really good vibe. Also the view!! We’re definitely going to come back here. 🥰 Here are some of the courses:

Nice terrace, with a view of the lake, good food (i had the smoked trout from the lake) and delicious (strong) cocktails. Especially the service was amazing, friendly and personal. When I got harrassed by wasps they got me insect spray right away without asking!

Fantastic place! The staff were super friendly and the service was excellent. We really appreciated that they went out of their way to drive to a store just to get gluten-free pasta for us, since they only had gluten-free pizza available at first — such amazing service! Great gluten-free options overall, and a perfect spot for families. Highly recommend!

Restaurant
Osteria Rivelin is a charming 17th-century Italian eatery that offers a memorable dining experience. The restaurant serves homestyle regional dishes and features patio seating for a delightful al fresco meal. It aims to recreate the feeling of enjoying Northern Italian cuisine in your grandmother's kitchen, offering high-end versions of classic dishes from the Italian countryside. Visitors are recommended to try the steak with black truffles or lasagne with stuffed chicken for an ultimate main course experience.
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at this historic Osteria (tavern) when we were on vacation from Australia back in Oct in and around Largo Di Garda (North East Veneto region of Italy) The Osteria's location, waiter and waitresses were so welcoming and informative of the history of the Osteria and the food ingredients that they prepare are all locally grown and sourced. We had some fantastic delicious courses that were recommended by the waiter and we highly recommend this to anyone who wants to taste authentic traditional cuisine of the area. A must stop if you are coming to this part of Largo Di Guarda

The restaurant focus in local products, the menu features fish from the lake garda , the pasta we order was too salty for our taste but the appetizers were spot on
Andres J — Google review
We came here based on TripAdvisor reviews, and the first impression was very good, with a beautiful location and friendly staff. The starters were truly delicious, and the Valpolicella wine was excellent. However, things started to slip a little with the first course. My daughter asked if the pasta dish could be made without ricotta, but this was not possible because the truffle and cheese were combined in one sauce. Of course, we respect the chef’s choices, so we ordered the dish as it was. Still, in the 15 years I have been coming to Italy, it was the first time a chef did not want to prepare a simple pasta for one of my children — something as basic as pasta with olive oil and truffle. As my daughter eats a full four-course meal, she occupies a full place setting at the table. While the tagliatelle with duck sauce was excellent, her pasta was overwhelmed by ricotta and truffle, masking the flavor of the pasta itself. Everyone else’s dishes, both first and main courses, were very good, with generous portions and overall a fair price-to-quality ratio. Unfortunately, what truly let the evening down was the second glass of wine. It contained a large amount of fine cork. When the waitress came to clear the plates, she asked what was wrong, but there was confusion as they initially thought I meant there was cork in the food. Another staff member came over, understood the problem, apologized, and offered a new glass. Even so, I noticed some disapproving looks from behind the counter, and when the replacement glass came, I was shocked to find it was likely poured from the same bottle and had not been checked. It also contained cork. I chose not to make a scene and set it aside. Despite the fact that several staff members noticed this, no one addressed it further. At the end of the evening, when the presumed owner asked each table if they had enjoyed their meal, there was little conversation in my case. It was a missed opportunity. I was not angry, and as a family we had a pleasant evening overall, but the wine and the way it was handled were a real disappointment. The customer is not always right, but if someone says there is cork in the wine and it smells of cork, at the very least it should be checked, especially at €7 a glass, nearly €50 a bottle. A beautiful location with good food, but the service fell short on this occasion. Next time, I hope for better.

Beautiful local restaurant in Peschiera with stylish décor and a welcoming atmosphere. Authentic, flavorful dishes made with fresh ingredients, excellent service, and fair prices. Four of us ate generously with drinks and dessert, and the total was only €100 including service. A perfect spot for families or couples – highly recommended!

The restaurant delivers, but nothing special. Service feels a bit cold and impersonal. Food quality is good for Italy, but far from outstanding. Overall, an average experience.

Very special place to have a meal in a 16th century fortress. The atmosphere was beautiful, matched with excellent service. Couldn't fault the food and wine. Well worth the effort when visiting Peschiera on Lake Garda.

historical, beautiful setting. Great athmosphere and super nice service. Food up to par, the Duck tagliatelle to die for. Axcellent over all.

We had dinner here. The location is very nice. There is a wide selection of wines (with a dedicated wine list). We received complimentary bread as well as a small appetizer consisting of bread with Gorgonzola and a spoon with cheese and something with apricot. The typical "starters", in this case pasta, are too large for a starter but too small for a main course. Therefore, it's difficult to make the right choice (starter and main course, or just one of them). The food was very good but on the pricier side.

L'Osteria is a charming restaurant located in the old town of Peschiera del Garda, just a short distance from the lake and the picturesque town hall square. The ambiance exudes classical Venetian osteria vibes, with friendly staff ready to accommodate various dining needs, whether it's a business lunch, family dinner, or casual pizza night with friends. Chef Roger curates an authentic menu featuring traditional Venetian cuisine using high-quality ingredients from local suppliers.
During our one week stay, we came here four times for dinner as we had such a great time and knew we could count on delicious food and outstanding service. The staff was extremely friendly with us and our little daughter and really made us feel welcome. The food is excellent and no matter what you try, really tasty. It was also not over the top expensive. It is also nicely located in the city with a lot of other shops around.

We had a lovely lunch here. The pizzas were really tasty and so cheap - a margarita is only €6.50. The service here was also some of the best we had in our trip to the lake.

Bella Vista | Ristorante Pizzeria is a spacious and well-maintained establishment that offers stunning views of the lake. It features a diverse menu, including regional seafood, meat dishes, and stone-baked pizzas. The restaurant is known for accommodating dietary needs such as gluten and milk-free options. Despite its size, the food quality exceeds expectations with above-average pizzas and delectable seafood like sea bass.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Outstanding steak, stunning views, and top service I visited this amazing restaurant 10 years ago and still remember having the best steak of my life – so while on holiday in Lake Garda, it was an absolute must to return. I had the Château Chambrand steak, and it did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and just melted in the mouth. Our group of six all ordered steak, and every single one of us loved it – truly first class. The service was impeccable, friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. To finish, I had the tiramisu, which was just as impressive – rich, creamy, and beautifully presented. The setting is also worth a mention – the restaurant offers fantastic shaded views over Lake Garda, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy an exceptional meal. A memorable experience all around. Highly recommended!

The menu had a good selection and it was clearly marked out for meals that were Gluten Free or meat free. The other members of our party really enjoyed their pizza and pasta. The Gluten Free pizza I had unfortunately was a standard rock hard biscuit base. All in all, a good experience.

Bread with oil as a starter is delicious. As a main food we had lasagne bolognese and grilled seabass. Music is great and atmosphere was relaxation. One point is that a table was not fixed. We were satisfied.

The service was good and patient with the family. They brought bread and oil to the table- it was amazing. I think what threw us off (as U.S.east coast pizza eaters) was that this place was rated for pizza- so we were expecting Italy-level quality pizza too and it would blow our minds. So it was good, just we've had some already in Italy and it wasnt the level we thought. We ordered a Sicilian, margharita (which didnt have basil), proscuitto and mushrooms (the BEST one we shared), and a Quattro formaggio (four cheese, pizza bianca but was missing the garlic flavor we love- so really tasted like cheesy bread. So its good- but not what we thought it would be in Italy). So, its good at American standard, and I love my margarita pizza (judge it by the sauce more than anything else). In Italy- meehh, average.
Missy C — Google review
We decided to eat here because the place looked inviting from the outside and the menu seemed promising. We ordered two pizzas, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to expectations. One pizza with mushrooms had a bitter and strange taste in the tomato sauce, and the mushrooms seemed to come from a jar. The dough was very good, though, and shows that there is potential if better ingredients were used. The other pizza with salsiccia and broccoli was also disappointing. The broccoli clearly did not seem fresh, more like from a jar, and the salsiccia had an unpleasant aftertaste, as if it wasn’t completely fresh. We did not finish the food because the taste was simply too odd. Unfortunately, the service was also a letdown. The staff were not smiling or welcoming, and the bill was placed on the table in a rather rude way, without a word. About 2 hours after the meal, I became sick with vomiting and stomach issues, which suggests possible food poisoning. My boyfriend also get stomach issues after eaten the pizza. Overall, a very disappointing experience that we cannot recommend to others. The place feels more like a tourist trap than a restaurant you would want to return to. We have eaten in many places across Italy over the years – in Rome, Florence, and Naples – and know the true quality of Italian food culture, and sadly this restaurant does not live up to it.
Stephanie H — Google review
Placed in a decent location, however the Hugo spritz we had were very weak and tasted more like soda water and a dash of Prosecco, the spaghetti bolognaise was very nice however the tagliatelle truffle pasta was very oily and had no taste of truffle sadly, however the prices weren’t terrible but not the best compared to other places in the area

Delicous pizza and pasta. Nice ristorante near coast, after a day of sailing best place to refuel food 👌👍
Radoslaw C — Google review
Stopped by this place on a rainy night to grab a pizza takeaway. The restaurant (Via Mo) was packed with a large group that was just sitting down. After placing my order it seemed to get lost in the shuffle. When I finally got my pizza home and opened the box there was hardly anything on it! I had paid more than the average pizza because I wanted them to add mushrooms and some onions. What I got was piles of greasy fried onions, canned mushrooms and a scant amount of cheese! It was very disappointing. For a country known for its pizza, this was a letdown. On top of that, a soda cost €5.50, which felt unreasonable. Definitely would not recommend for pizza.

Ordered a steak and got it grilled english, small piece and only a slice of bread as a side (bread was burnt black) for 23€. While I am writing this my friend is waiting for over 1 hour to receive his noodles. The Others already have eaten their dessert. Very Disappointed. 2 Friends had Pizza and said they were very good; at least one good thing

Honestly, the best pizza napoletana I have had in a very long time. The best part yet… is that there is a huge free parking lot that’s 5mins away from this restaurant. The pizza is perfect in every way, all ingredients were fresh and full of flavour. The service too was really quick and good. There isn’t anything bad to say. Now I don’t know about the other dishes because I didn’t eat them however, from the looks of other people eating them… they were pleased. Come here, especially if you want a proper and classic pizza napoletana. You will not be let down.

The view alone makes this restaurant well worth a visit. We went here for dinner with three kids and had a wonderful time. The food was amazing and the portion sizes more than generous. Kids dishes aren’t on the menu, but several choices were provided upon request. The service was very friendly and attentive, though they did seem like they could have used more help as the place got more crowded. We didn’t mind waiting a bit from time to time and simply enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and tastefully decorated venue.

Porta Brescia (1551–1558) is one of the main entrances to the fortress, steeped in history and surrounded by a moat of shimmering water. Lined with vibrant flowers year-round, the approach is as charming as it is imposing. This review is from 3 years ago at the time I wrote this (reason -made a new google review focused account): Very beautiful place. However a common issue was the honesty and people: -all the stores sold the same clothes with different pricing -at the parking there was a guy ''acting like he worked there'' and wanted money from you for showing you a parking spot. Nice spot, not so nice people.

Went there for lunch, two adults and two kids. Food was excellent !! We had Pesto pasta, bolognase pasta, lasagna, and tomato pasta. Everything was super tasty. We ordered the large size, for 13-15 euros each, and everyone were full at the end. Total of 65 euros including lemonade, water and service. It was the best lunch we had in Italy, and at a very reasonable price. We will definitely come back next time. Paid parking lot just few min.

We stayed in Peschiera del Garda for a week half board at a nearby hotel. Visited here on our first night for drinks and loved the atmosphere and the service. We came back on Tuesday evening for drinks and then on Thursday for food. My husband had the Ravioli and I had the Caesar Salad and it was amazing. My husband said it was the best Ravioli he has ever eaten including in Rome and Sorrento. We enjoyed it that much we came back on our last night for more Ravioli and I had the Chicken Burger. Food again was amazing 😍 Cocktails are fantastic and the staff clearly love working here. The owner Valentina told us the chef makes small batches of fresh pasta throughout the day so it’s always fresh for the customers and you can tell. If we come back to Peschiera del Garda this will be the first place we visit 😍

Ice cream shop
Gelateria La Romana is a renowned gelato chain in Italy, offering some of the most delicious gelato in the country. Visitors often find themselves returning to try different flavors, with favorites including salted caramel with pecan, pistachio, hazelnut, and various liquor-infused options. The gelateria stands out for its reasonable prices and innovative chocolate-filled cones. Despite its modern and cool ambiance, the shop's menu is clear about the wide array of flavors available.
We had some of the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted here, and the staff was super friendly. Yes, it’s not cheap, but what they call a ‘small’ (one scoop) would be a ‘medium’ (two scoops) at most other places. So it’s absolutely worth it!
Felix D — Google review
Ice cream, excellent coffee, iced coffee with brioche, many flavors and not enough time to try everything. The whole experience is topped off with a craft-style interior and friendly service. A strong yes for this place!
Rewela — Google review
The staff take the time to let you taste the different flavours and also help with what choice there is. Great tasting ice cream. I had one and my wife had two flavours in a cup. 7 euros which we sat outside watching the people pass by. A very busy night
Vincenzo I — Google review
Great gelateria with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The scoop sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. A tasty treat that’s definitely worth it!
Szymon S — Google review
Coming from the Netherlands, I have to say this place has ruined my expectation of gelato in the NL. I have to wait to go to Italy to eat gelato. The best I've tasted. So freaking smooth.
Pepy J — Google review
Unfriendly staff and a chaotic atmosphere. There was no English menu for the ice cream flavours (which is fine), so I checked the website beforehand. When I ordered, the lady told me the website isn’t accurate because there are multiple branches. She seemed annoyed and wasn’t willing to help, even though I explained I couldn’t read Italian. Lots of shouting and no sense of welcome. The ice cream itself was okay but nothing special
Charlotte C — Google review
We came here after reading that they offer gluten-free ice creams, including gluten-free cones. All of us (not just the one with celiac) really enjoyed the unique flavors, the cleanliness of the place, and the friendly service. In my opinion, it was the best gelato we had during our trip. Highly recommended!
שושי כ — Google review
Great Gelato, possibly one of the best. Comments saying it’s expensive but compared to similar quality ice cream in the uk it’s the same. Large tub with 2 scoops of gelato was €5 so it’s more than fairly priced for a great sweet treat!

Peschiera Boat Rent

4.1
(325)
Boat rental service
Peschiera Boat Rent offers various boat rental options, including a 6-person 40 HP boat. Prices range from 50 for a 2-hour rental to 160 for a full-day (8 hours) rental, excluding petrol costs based on consumption. Customers appreciate the hassle-free reservation process and friendly staff who provide clear instructions on safety and handling of the boats. The boats are described as spacious and fast enough for an enjoyable experience on Lake Garda.
Antonio and his staff were helpful and friendly. The boats are great, with the 40hp (biggest allowed for rent w/out certification) more than sufficient. Lake Garda is big and there are swells, so get ready for an exciting (aka bumpy) ride. The rate was more than reasonable and the views... breathtaking!
Jeff N — Google review
Nice 4h tour, we booked the day before, the total cost of 138€ with 18 liters of gasoil consumed is very fair. The boat is powerfull enough to enjoy the lake. Recommended
L V — Google review
Super friendly staff, easily able to explain the rules and how to operate the boat. We were able to get some beautiful views all around the lake as well as some swimming within 3 hours. Thanks Nikita for cancelling your booking!
Robert M — Google review
Great experience would recommend - we went for 2hrs and spent €24 on fuel.
Tom K — Google review
We booked about 5 days before, which I highly recommend during the busy times for example in August. 6 hours cost us 140€ without fuel, which is a very good price in my opinion. The fuel for 6 hours (we drove pretty much) cost 45€, so all in all under 200€ for 6 hours. They told us that one full tank would last for about 5 hours of driving at full speed, so we had no worries about an empty tank. The boat was in pretty good shape and could go seemingly fast for only having 40hp, only the back seat row was a bit damaged. We were offered to look into the gas tank and take photos of the boat and the engine before the ride, which made everything very transparent for us. The instructions (on how to use the boat and the rules) before the ride were very clear and all in all everything went fast and smooth. Fully recommended :)
Henry G — Google review
I can spontan rent a boat without a reservation. Staffs are friendly and most important the price was really ok. We paid 30€ for 1 hour boat rent and gasoline 5€, so total just 35€. It is really worth it!
A T — Google review
We had a great day on the boat. We were a bit late because traffic was worse. It was no problem at all. Friendly people over there. Also for people who don't have much experience with a boat. Price is really affordable. You should make a reservation if you want the boat in August!

Lungolago Mazzini is an enchanting destination that should be on every traveler's itinerary when visiting Peschiera del Garda. This picturesque lakeside promenade offers a delightful walking path where you can soak in the stunning views of Lake Garda. As you stroll along, you'll encounter charming restaurants and cafes perfect for a refreshing break. While the beaches feature small pebbles rather than sand, they provide lovely spots for swimming and relaxation under the sun or shade from nearby trees.
Excellent walking path along the lake from Peschera D. Garda heading north. 10000+ steps for counters Restaurants/cafes' along the way. Beaches ( no sand--small rocks !!)for swimming. Some shade Beautiful views Some hotels and rentals lakeside. Recommended --Go

Beautiful walk along the Lake, but barely enjoyable because it is just immensely overcrowded. I came here in late September with awful weather and it was a slalom walk - I do not want to imagine what this looks like in summer.

Found this place literally under the apartment we're renting for our vacation. For lunch they have an all you can eat deal for €12 and being vegan I found many options so it was a great deal and everything was delicious. I got sea weed salad, avocado maki, miso soup, spring rolls, tofu with soy sauce for my son and also french fries for him. Kids pay €6. The service was great too!

I came months ago, and every time I think of sushi I regret not writing this review! Very good udon, the best sushi I’ve ever had, the salmon in particular, literally melts in your tongue. Congrats to the chefs, I wait to come back to this little hidden gem of a restaurant :)

I was with my wife, we liked it very much, great service, very well prepared food and a pleasant and romantic atmosphere, good location and very affordable prices. we paid €35 for two for lunch, only a few menu items it was not possible to order more than once, unfortunately this was the downside of the restaurant.
J. R — Google review
Quite average - the service was ok, food ok, but compared to all-you-can-eat restaurants in Milan it was a misery. Lunch may be convenient, but 22 euros for a very limited dinner is just not worth it.

Amazing food!! Very high quality sushi. The miso soup is smooth. The black sesame mochi is authentic and the service is friendly; very kid friendly. Our family, with kids ages (2) and (5) came for dinner and the kids loved all the food: different rolls, types of fish, crunchy tempura and the mochi dessert. High quality for all you can eat. Generally, the other (take your own) all you can eat put out terrible quality food to fill you up. This was very good. We were very full but not over stuffed. Order as needed, and excellent sushi. We’ll be back as long as we come around Lago di Garda. I read through a couple of the bad reviews and noticed they were of people complaining about the “all you can eat” menu versus the “normal” menu and wanting to mix and match the two. It’s quite direct. You pick a menu and order and proceed that way, either the flat price and order literally all you can eat or choose the normal menu and pay per order like a normal restaurant. We weren’t sure at first and asked to look at both menus to see the difference, and chose to proceed with the all you can eat. Our kids were half price. Seems very fair for all the different appetizers, rolls, and entrées one can order.

Tasty sushi dishes, wide choice and everything is freshly made. Staff very friendly. Some feedback, but that's personal, I'd like to see a photo of each dish so I know what I'm choosing. But that's really personal... I would definitely come again, no doubt!

Seafood restaurant
InChiostro Restaurant and Lounge Bar is a centrally located establishment in the historic downtown district, offering an array of upscale seafood dishes and beverages. The lounge bar provides a relaxed setting for sipping cocktails and enjoying small plates. Their menu features delectable options like truffle risotto with stracciatella, lime, and scampi. Visitors praise the restaurant's diverse selection of fresh fish and recommend trying the antipasti for two.
We had a great evening at InChiostro. The food was excellent and very creative. Our fish dishes were cooked to perfection. The service is very attentive. A great wine list (especially sparkling wines) offers something for every taste. The only thing I find a pity is the small number of wines by the glass. If you want to enjoy creative, tasty cuisine, you can have a great evening here.

Incredible! By far one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy. The flavor were complex and every course we had was delicious and better than meals we have paid double the price forThe service was top notch and they were so kind and accommodating for our limited Italian. They also had non-alcoholic prosecco and made me a spritz which were both delicious for anyone who does not drink. Highly highly recommend for anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner!

Off the very busy streets and just a little more peaceful. Doesn’t feel as touristy and the food was VERY good. Very heavy on fish 🐟. Nuggets for the kids were also really good and not just a rubbish extra. Waiters did a top job. Thank you
Alexander B — Google review
Very disappointed with this restaurant. The dishes were quite different from what is shown on Google Maps — the portions were smaller, and the presentation was much less appealing. The service seemed friendly at first, but once it became clear we weren’t ordering alcohol, their attitude noticeably changed. One middle-aged man with glasses was especially cold and made us feel unwelcome. It felt like we weren’t “spending enough” to be treated respectfully. That said, we did appreciate the kindness of one older female server. [Update — Response to the Owner’s Reply] Thank you for your reply, but I must clarify a few things. • Simply stating that your dishes match the photos on Google doesn’t address the fact that our food had noticeably smaller portions and less appealing presentation than what is advertised. • Mentioning your staff’s age range does not change the fact that a male staff member with glasses was clearly cold — regardless of age, the behavior we experienced was unacceptable. • Suggesting we misunderstood what a gourmet restaurant is supposed to be feels dismissive. In reality, the inconsistent service, mediocre atmosphere, and lack of refinement did not reflect the standards of a truly high-end restaurant. • Most disappointing was the clear shift in attitude once we declined to order alcohol. True quality is not just about claiming to be “gourmet,” but about showing consistency, professionalism, and respect to all guests — regardless of how much they spend. I stand by my review, and I hope this feedback is taken constructively.

This was a great find as I was walking through Peschiera. This is a family establishment and they were nothing but amazing. The service was awesome and the food was inventive and Michelin quality. The octopus antipasto and the risotto were delicious! I highly recommend eating here for a special meal or just to try something you won’t get in all the restaurants in Peschiera. I would come back for sure!

Had a wonderfull evening with my family and friends. The restaurant is quite small but with a nice ambiance. The staff were all lovely and if we had any questions they were always there to help. The food was all very lovely and presented with a nice touch. The octopus was one of the best I ever had. If you are a meat lover this is not the restaurant for you. But if you like fish make sure to visit the place!

The best meal we had in Italy, including in Michelin starred ones. Excellent fresh, locally sourced wherever possible, and a wonderful wine list. Very knowledgable waiting staff and excellent value for money

Great place for dining. Had a salmon appetizer, pasta and fish main and my son had chicken fingers. Everything was delicious. My only complaint was my son asked for extra ketchup which they charged us for. I feel like you’re paying enough that you can get an extra 10 ml of ketchup for free. But that’s a small complaint. Fantastic place for dinner. They were also great with my wife who is celiac.

Italian restaurant
Ristorante Pizzeria Trattoria Peschiera del Garda - La Rocca is a charming dining spot located in the heart of Peschiera, right by the lake. The restaurant offers a delightful mix of Mediterranean cuisine and wood-fired pizzas. Guests can enjoy their meals in a cozy indoor space with air conditioning or in the spacious garden area, which is perfect for families with children. While it can get quite busy, the friendly staff and delicious food make it worth the visit.
Great restaurant right on the lake, with very friendly service. Food is excellent with a good selection. Pizza is delicious Naples style.

Gluten free pizza not recommended. Deep-frozen base, soft and white from the bottom, 23,5€ for one pizza and glass of cola. I do like to thank them for having something as senza glutine, but they should say up front that the pizza is a deep frozen base one.
Kristen T — Google review
We weren’t very happy with our food. Burger 18€ arrives bare patty on a bunch of fries. For that price? Seriously? Cosa vuoi! My pizza dripping from tomatoe juice and cheese. The ham, not the quality I would expect. Maybe a 80% water dough, but not crispy in the middle! Che ca… With all due respect, but I feel like tourist trap. But expensive trap. Friendly service. Only when money is topic Mr. Owner will become available.

FAMILIES NOT WELCOME. We had a nice meal. Food is quite good, slightly higher priced, but that is to be expected because of the good location. HOWEVER, when paying the bill my wife was told by the Maitre D that playing poker is for bars. We are a family with a six year old and an eight year old. While waiting for our food we played a children's card game. When I questioned him about this he pretended to have no English. This has been our only negative experience in many years of holidaying, (and playing cards), in Italian restaurants. AVOID

Ordered 3 pizzas. We waited a long time for the food. The prosciutto had almost no ham. The pizzas were burned at the bottom. Waited a long time when we were finish eating. Had to pay with card inside. Payment failed twice and the old woman went mad. Told her it’s a Mastercard Gold and I used it multiple times today. She started yelling in Italian before the payment finally succeeded. What a terrible experience.

I don't usually leave reviews but we left this restaurant disgusted. The food was good, our waiter was friendly and professional. But the maitre'd was unfortunately the rudest I have ever come across. We were finishing up our meal in a timely fashion, conscious of the fact that the staff were eager to sit some of the people waiting. Whilst finishing up our drinks we also finished up a card game with our young children. I went in to pay the bill once we had finished our drinks and the maitre'd went out of his way to tell me that pubs are for poker, not restaurants. If we had taken an excessive amount of time his rudeness would not have been called for. However, we really had not lingered over our food or indeed the table once our meal was finished. A shame as it has been our only bad experience in Peschiera, where restaurant staff are generally so friendly and professional
Mary D — Google review
Worst lunch experience ever. The service charge was not clearly indicated. The menu prices didn’t include VAT, so you think you’re paying €12 for a dish, but it ends up costing over €14. We specifically asked for the meat in the carbonara to be cooked crispy, but it arrived undercooked and unappetizing. The manager or owner was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful.

Lovely restaurant. Amazing out door indoor bit. Like a convertible extension lol. Service was fine. What let it down for us, is that we felt that it was a bit too stuffy for us and the food we had was not special enough. I was expecting an explosion of flavours and I found it a bit underwhelming. To be honest we felt well out of our comfort zone. If you like wearing a jacket and tie to dinner then you’ll probably love it, but not for me I’m afraid. So please take this review as an opinion rather than any criticism.
