Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Acquapark Onda Blu is a fantastic destination for families with kids, offering a variety of flume and tube slides that lead into splash pools. Visitors can purchase tickets online in advance or at the desk upon arrival. The park provides loungers and umbrellas for rent, and guests can also bring their own food or dine at the outdoor restaurant. Additionally, there's an option to hire parasols for the day, which come with two deck chairs each.
Fun place to visit with the kids, tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the desk. Whilst you’re there I’d recommend hiring a parasol for the day, they can be hired for €5. Simply take your tag and attach it to one of the unopened parasols (each comes with 2 deck chairs.) Swimming caps are mandatory for the pools but not the slides. Comfortable polyester caps can be purchased inside for €2.50 each. If you have valuables there are plenty of lockers at the entrance point, a non-refundable €3 deposit and a valid form of ID is required. It’s easily accessible so if you need to fetch your wallet it’s not a problem after you’ve been swimming. Food and drinks are good, wide range of different items available. You’ll need to purchase them at a ticket desk in the middle of the cafeteria (2 ticket desks are available) once purchased you take your ticket to the counter to collect whatever you’ve purchased. If you have different items such as coffees, ice creams, pizza and sandwiches you’ll need to visit each one to collect them. Service is speedy and the food is good considering the price.

It's too long to wait in the queue. A lot of people and it could be opened more entering doors. Good area with tables where you can eat your own food or to buy food there. Less stars because of dangerous slides, there are rough places between slides and pool,so it can easily harm you. Don't use bracelets, watches, or sunglasses ,it is easy to lose on slides. Be careful in the pool with flow. There are bayonets at the bottom of the pool.
Google review
The park was very clean. They had a lot of staff. Was not busy during the week. The slides are great. But, kids were fighting in the pool and lifeguards did not pay attention to stop them. Recommend buying tickets in advance if you can. We had trouble with the website due to having US phone numbers for the verification. Line in the morning for tickets wasn't bad though.
Olivia D — Google review
Great waterparks, some cool waterslides also for small kids. At the end of June there were almost no people there. There is room for improvement in the food.
Alexander S — Google review
Amazing place to visit. Plenty to do for kids of all ages. Only flow is that a blue slide has only a few donuts and queue for them is for hours. Some other slides with donuts have limited amount too and you need to wait.
Yana W — Google review
Just awesome place! Lovely for both - kids and adults. We arived after 14:00, so the tickets were cheaper than regular (18eur/person). Very friendly staff. Our recommendations to visit this place.
Vytenis M — Google review
Clean, tidy equipment. Polite helpful staff - could smile a bit more. Somewhat pricey, but expected. Great for families, especially if more than one adult to share the load and get some relaxation times. I wish smoking policy was as strongly enforced as the swimming cap policy. Despite a clearly designated area, adults seem happy to expose other peoples children to second hand smoke. Onda Blu could do this better. Maybe a few whistles in the direction of these rogue smokers would help.
Dhruv D — Google review
I went a couple days ago and it was great, I asked a lifeguard and there was about 500 people and it looked empty, short queues and great rides. You should definitely go

(Translated by Google) Located at the beginning of the beautiful seafront of Tortoreto Lido, at the intersection with Via Napoli, the statue of the Mermaid, in the center of a circular basin filled with water, has become the symbol of the city. The Mermaid was created in 1982 by the Fonderia “ Battaglia” of Miano and is in bronze. Not particularly harmonious in design, it nevertheless takes on its own charm, in that place, in the center of the square, in the act of shortening one's hair, turning one's back to the sea.

After asking an employee if we could sit for five minutes to get out of the sun and consume our purchases (a request which the employee granted), we were turned away by the owner because the table was booked. I noted that there was a three-year-old child and a very pregnant woman present, and when I pointed out that we would only be there long enough for the purchase, the owner replied that he could not proceed with cleaning the table, which, moreover, did not appear to be set in any way. Having acknowledged this, we consumed everything standing in the parking lot in front. This was extremely rude and lacked humanity, considering the presence of the child and the pregnant woman. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Ristorante is a delightful spot that offers great value for your dining experience. With a tourist menu priced at 18, guests can enjoy a first course of the day, a second course, water, wine, and coffee. The culinary highlights include delicious linguine with clams and crispy fried fish. While the service may be on the slower side, many patrons still recommend it wholeheartedly!

(Translated by Google) Passing through Tortoreto for a relaxing weekend by the sea (partially ruined by terrible weather to say the least) the Magnolia Dry was a very pleasant surprise where we had delicious evening dinners at absolutely honest prices. Not being good foodies, in general, my wife and I almost always prefer (at lunch and dinner) to have a single dish. Well, at "Magnolia Dry" we willingly made an exception to the rule, even treating ourselves to a complete menu, without leaving the table "weighed down" (despite the generous portions). What's more: these guys had the merit of being able to make me appreciate a fish-based menu, as I... don't love fish AT ALL!! So, "ça va sans dir"...! 😊😊 A special mention of merit for the tagliatelle with tuna ragout (d-i-v-i-n-e!!) and for the seafood salad, but also excellent were the trio of fish skewers, the excellent mixed frying and, more generally, all the based dishes of fresh local fish, in addition to traditional pizzas. Also worth mentioning is the availability (common at all) of the renowned Biella craft beer Menabrea, served on tap! All this is completed by truly commendable courtesy and customer care on the part of Marco and his highly efficient staff, who manage to manage customers quickly and efficiently, even at times of maximum attendance. The bill? An incredible final surprise that you don't expect...! Furthermore, it is one of the very few places I have visited that DOES NOT apply the hated and illegal additional "cover charge" tax (or at least makes it included in the final price of the dishes), so, as the Americans would say, "you pay exactly what you see"... In short, I really take my hat off to this splendid and young entrepreneurial reality. To always be kept rigorously in evidence in the notebook, for a dutiful visit, in case of a next trip to Tortoreto Lido. Excellent!! Eccellente!!

I start saying that this wasn't my first dinner in this place - or anyway here around. I have grown up in this village and in this area. I know how the fish should look like and should taste like. Most importantly, how good service should be. I say that because - since I was raised here- I know that the difference between going out for dinner and dining at home is a matter of degree most of the time. Here, ingredients are regional and awesome and products are fresh, and everybody can cook. I mean it: everybody can cook. Now, let's get back to the evening. We were 7. Arrived punctually at 20:30. First time to call a waiter for me ordering water and drinks: 20:45. 20:55 we stopped another waitress. She says she can take the drinks order, not the food ( we had enough time to write down the orders for the whole table!). We order two waters and a bottle of wine. Waters arrive- wine doesn't. Another guy sees us, so he comes along. Says that the wine had never been ordered. But he can take the full order. Great - nice chat. Two focaccia for starter, since we were hungry and the rest can come together. After one hour and 15 minutes one pizza arrives - not the focaccia starters. We stop another waiter, they say they will ask. Nothing happens. After other 20 minutes the dishes start to come out- focaccia with the rest. We had ordered 3 fried fish. Arrived one - we had to go back for the other two. No side dishes (we had ordered two fried potatoes, one backed one, and two cicoria ripassata). We asked for the other two fried fishes - they arrive but completely different from the one before. Sides not to be seen, but arrived the roasted fish. Three portions - pictures attached. Two full ... The third, cold and like spitted in the plate from leftovers (probably what it was! Picture attached). Arrive the sides - we asked cicoria ripassata - obtain zucchini .. WT... Asked for two coffees. Waited 20 minutes for two coffees- we were on the side of the bar, had to ask twice for them. Ps- no discount. Price 330 Euros!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

(Translated by Google) On our way back from vacation, we stopped at this trattoria in the industrial area of Tortoreto. It's a family-run establishment where you can still see the genuine passion of those who love their work. We had fabulous tagliolini...a generous portion, a mixed grill, two coffees, and a dessert...not homemade, but that's okay...if you're ever there, stop by. It's worth it, especially considering the friendliness of the owners. The location under the Salinello bridge leaves something to be desired but the place is not bad and the staff are quick and friendly. The staff were very kind and friendly, and the food was delicious. It still reflects the typical family-run trattoria. We paid very little (the spaghetti alla chitarra with tomato sauce and meatballs were excellent), and the portions were generous. We'll gladly return. Best regards, Monica and Sandro. (Translated by Google) English: We decided to celebrate our son's first birthday here and our expectations were not disappointed. We were given the opportunity to decorate the room as we liked, plus Danilo, the manager, satisfied our culinary "demands", delighted our guests with a large buffet of appetizers (from bruschetta to fried foods in batter, through 36-month parmesan flakes, focaccia and fountains of cured meats), a choice of two excellent first courses (the gnocchi alla Norcina were delicious) and a good second course based on saddle of veal with a side of roast potatoes. The staff is welcoming, kind, ready to satisfy your every request. It is a small family-run restaurant, which is preferable, especially for the quality of the products. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to celebrate small ceremonies or simply for a quick lunch. Chapeau! Ice cream shop
Nestled in the bustling area of Tortoreto, Gelateria Venezia Tortoreto is a delightful gem for ice cream lovers. With an impressive selection of around 48 flavors, including many chocolate-based options, this gelateria promises to satisfy your sweet tooth. While the prices are reasonable and the service is quick, be prepared for a small seating area that can get quite crowded during peak times.
Excellent gelateria with different and great flavors
Roberto B — Google review
The ice cream is very good, prices are moderate. The downside is that it's a very small but popular shop in a crowded area, so it gets very crowded. The seating area has maybe 6 tables, reserved for table service, but getting the attention of a servant during busy time isn't easy. To get take away, you must get in line twice: once to work your way inside to a register to order and pay, and a second time to work your way to the counter where you can tell the worker the flavors you want in your ice cream cones.

(Translated by Google) Let me start by saying I don't like giving negative reviews; I usually avoid them, but not this time. It's a shame I can't give a zero. I'm writing on behalf of other customers who have experienced the same treatment we did. Disorganized and rude staff. They greet guests at the entrance after apparently verifying their names on a list, issuing tickets and bracelets for entry to the event, only to then turn them away during the evening because they aren't registered (!!). I reiterate the absurdity of the situation: first they let you in, you get a bit of a feel for it, take a tour of the cellar, and then, magically, due to a moon phase or something, the employee approaches and asks you to leave because your name isn't on the list (?!). For my part, I reiterate that I duly called to attend the evening (it's a tasting) with the intention of paying for everything on the spot to avoid any mix-ups... Nothing, you're literally turned away without any hesitation or common sense... Are you kidding me or are you pretending?! No comment! Change jobs, it's better. Nulla, vieni letteralmente allontanata senza alcuna remora e buon senso... Ci siete o ci fate?! No comment! Cambiate mestiere che è meglio.

(Translated by Google) Exceptional wines, passionately illustrated by Mr. Pietro, made exclusively from local native grapes, each wine is produced with grapes from a specific vineyard surrounding the estate. For aging, they've chosen not to use barriques, but only steel or concrete. Whether you like it or not, once you taste these wines, you'll appreciate the quality and exceptional drinkability of these bottles, including some Montepulcianos. These are sincere, honest, and authentic wines, but not necessarily predictable: on the contrary, with every sip, they reveal what the work of these people, this land, and these vineyards, nestled between the sea and the land, can offer. Try it and believe it.

(Translated by Google) Recommended by our friends, we went to this restaurant on the hill at dinner time, remaining pleasantly surprised by the very nice atmosphere. Outside it has a large space with tables overlooking the sea, while inside it feels like walking in a pleasant square, almost meticulously recreated. They use a fixed price menu that varies from lunch to dinner respectively. At dinner, 2 or 3 types of menus are offered, including a pizza round. We, together with our friends, chose the meat menu with very rich starters including: fresh local cured meats accompanied by bread and cheese, abundant barley salad, mini portions of tomato omelette, a nice portion of fresh champignon mushrooms, cooked and well spiced tomatoes, mini portions of savory pie filled with ricotta, cooked and raw vegetables at will and a nice portion of french fries. As for meat there was the possibility to choose between about ten types, I chose a slice of beef while the others a mixed grill. The cut was very soft and tasty and served on a bed of fresh rocket and balsamic vinegar cream. The mixed grill had bacon, sausage and ribs (the only flaw was the rib which overall was dry). The typical Abruzzo wine was never missing like any other drink included in the price. Only coffee was excluded as was any correction, sorbet or semifreddo. If we have the opportunity, we will happily return at midday to also try the menu with first courses. For what we paid, the abundance and quality deserves 5 stars.
