We had an evening meal which was ok, definitely a place that tourists eat, not locals. We came back the next morning as only a few places were open and we were not surprised to be served a very poor quality coffee. Additionally we had to wait 30 minutes as only 1 waiter was serving. Unfortunately we were in a rush and we didn't have time to find somewhere else but at the end it costs us as we had to wait 30 minutes. I would recommend not going to the Plaza Mayor restaurants if you don't want to have a bad experience.

We opted for hamburgers for our mains and to be fair they were very good and cooked precisely as we had asked. A bottle of Rioja was well priced as was the Cointreau, albeit I had to explain to the waiter that the Fanta limon ordered was not for mixing with the Cointreau, no I didn't want oranges and lemons!!
