Feniglia is a stunning 7km stretch of sandy beach and pine trees located in a natural reserve that connects Monte Argentario to the mainland. This untouched beach near Orbetello offers crystal clear waters, wild nature, and fine white sand. Visitors can leave their cars in shaded parking areas and explore the pine forest on foot or by bike before relaxing on one of Tuscany's most beautiful beaches.
Close to paradise I’d say. Pure nature with cristalline sea waters. Stunning views and 7 km of a dream beach

Beautiful sandy beach that spans a huge distance. Water and sand quality is very nice. There is sometimes debris from the trees and algae but if you walk a little bit you can definitely find spots that are clean. Parasol and beach chairs are extra ($) This public beach is very busy so it is best to get there early.
Ian R — Google review
Lovely, long sandy beach. Early in the morning was super to walk. Later in the morning it filled up pretty full even for late June. I found a nice hill with a breeze to hang my hammock and enjoyed watching over the crowded super-hot sand.
Jeremy L — Google review
The eastern beach looks nice, nothing more... Public parking is about 15min walk from the beach. The eastern public beach is far away from the expectations of a wild beach. I guess there's another specific access to the untamed areas of the beach. Navigation apps couldn't suggest anything a car can reach. Maybe I'll get successful next time...

Nice long beach. You may want to walk in the woods and then cut back along the beach. A couple of bars and a pay car park. Good shallow area for kids.

Except it‘s 1800km away, this Beach reminds me very much of the German Baltic Sea. Great pine Wood offering shadow and shelter from the wind. Magnificent clean sea and sand. You can easily get into the water, because of the big sandbeach and the small descending entry. Even several dozends meters into the sea you can still stand in the sea. Therefore great for children or people with minor fear of deep water.. 😉 Of course you might need to walk a bit to be a bit more for yourself, but the beach is long and big enough so everyone will find his/ her Place. Great spot to enjoy the mediterran sea, if you stay far from the sea in the tuscany and worth some driving!
Alexander K — Google review
The beach is very beautiful and very long, not crowded, smart and friendly staff, precise and perfect bars and services. The beach can be reached from the car park via a walk in the beautiful Feniglia pine forest. Beautiful place, it really deserves all the effort to cross the pine forest. The beach is set back from the others, which would be an advantage. There are no services other than sunbeds and umbrellas, which are expensive compared to other beaches in nearby locations.

Nestled atop a hill, the Roman Town of Cosa offers visitors a captivating glimpse into ancient history. This archaeological site features impressive ruins, including a forum and temple, alongside a museum showcasing excavated artifacts that tell the story of this once-thriving settlement. A visit here is not just educational; it’s an immersive experience where you can wander through partially unearthed structures and feel the weight of centuries past.
Not an ordinary place by any means. This is anything but Roman Town. It is megalitic marvel. Build by unknown ancient technology completely misunderstood by academia and people. COSA has minblowing 300 m long megalitic wall comparable to Sascayhuaman in Peru. Wall build thousands of years before romans existed. I don't even care about about archeological museum uphill...

Wide open free access area with Roman ruins and several excavated items you can find in the museum (2 euro entry) . If you've done the sights in Rome - can skip, but if you're around Tuscany and want a taste of the past, good place to visit
Sandiip S — Google review
Beautiful "park" with great views and a lot of acient ruins to explore. Not crowded so you can relax and enjoy the connection with the past. Free admission to the park, the museum is paid.

Incredible Roman settlement from 300 BC with amazing views on the sea. Find the access to the ancient water reservoir, quite an impressive vaulted space! There is also a small but interesting archeological museum you should pay a visit to, remarkable sculptures and Roman objects found on the site.
Vincenzo R — Google review
If you are in the area a great educational stop. Walk among the ancient ruins that have been partially excavated. The cost for the museum is only 2€ and well worth it to get a better history of the site. In early October we had the place almost entirely to ourselves. The descriptions of the various areas are in several languages including English. Very informative. The sense of history is immense and you can get a feeling for what it was like to live in the BCE.
Doug D — Google review
Amazing how this city shows a highly advance engineering in construction and water management. There are many reservoirs, channels and also terracota pipes that shows how important was the rain water for the survival. I was in shock when I first saw the pattern in the walls very similar to the ones in Machu Picchu and Tihuanaco in Perú.
Ava S — Google review
Very kind, well educated staff, enthusiastic to tell about the museum. The site is amazing with layers of history, some of which make you question the accepted account of history.

Parish S. Maria Assunta, also known as the co-cathedral of the Diocese of Pitigliano-Sovana-Orbetello, is a Gothic and Baroque style church with a rich history dating back to the 14th century. The cathedral features splendid frescoes and a rose window on its facade, overlooking a richly sculpted pointed arch portal.
Beautiful catholic church in the centro of Orbetello!! Big church with a large square!! 🕍🇮🇹👌

This church has a surprisingly long history. It was first built in the 14th century then, through the centuries, was expanded. It's a shame that the exterior is not kept in better condition - it is in need of a refurbishment. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful piece of the long history of this small town.

(Translated by Google) The Cathedral of Orbetello, dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta, was built during the Middle Ages and renovated in 1376. Gothic elements were added to the ancient Romanesque façade. Noteworthy features include the portal, the cornice with animal figures reminiscent of the Orsini family, and the rose window. The interior houses the chapel of San Biagio, which houses the relics of the city's patron saint. The bell tower was also rebuilt in the late nineteenth century.

(Translated by Google) It is still unclear whether the cathedral stands on the remains of an Etruscan temple. The first mentions of this date back to the papal bulls of Lucius III from 1183. A grand staircase leads to the richly decorated portal. The late Gothic façade features a delicately crafted rose window, above which, in a niche, is the bust of Saint Benedict of Norcia. Numerous works of art can be admired in the three-aisled interior. The relics of the city's patron saint are kept in the Chapel of San Biagio. After a reconstruction of the bell tower in 1898, it appeared in the Neo-Gothic style.

Nestled in the serene waters of a tranquil lagoon, the Ancient Spanish Mill stands as a captivating remnant of history. Once part of a series of nine windmills constructed by the Spanish, this charming structure is now the last one remaining. Its picturesque location near Monte Argentario offers stunning views, especially at sunset when the atmosphere transforms into something magical. While it may show signs of wear and tear, with a little imagination you can envision its former grandeur.
Good big parking on both sides of the pass, no place for beach/swim and water here don’t look good. mill itself stays on water and not accessible without boot, anyhow it’s size is like a garage for a car ;-)
Kamil N — Google review
This is the last remaining windmill of the 9 that were built here by the Spanish. Like so many beautiful pieces of history here, this windmill could use some work on the outside. It needs a little imagination to picture how grand it must have once been. The best time to see it is at sunset - you'll get a great experience.

This mill makes for some great photos if you have the right atmospheric conditions like no wind and a great sunset! Worth a visit.

Great camper stop, my favourite in Tuscany, maybe try and avoid high season, best parking place under the pine trees overlooking the natural reserve, great fish restaurant, nice bar, lively atmosphere especially during evenings. There's no market but the butcher, the cheese van, the fish monger and the green grocer come in to sell their local food, very convenient and very yummy food.

Worst place to stay on the coast. Not well maintenant, terrible smell and they gonna charge you for everything facilities access. 10€ to dump grey water. Drive a bit further, you deserve better
Alexandre C — Google review
Worst campsite in the area. The sanitary installations are dirty. There is no soap and no toilettpaper. They claim "hot water costs 1€" and "the time stops when you stopp the water" but the reality is different. There is no water at all when you don't insert a coin and the time continues even when the water is off. At the beach one member of the staff told me that an umbrella plus two loungers cost 13€ for one day. At the reception they told me that it would cost 20€ because of the time. It was 3:40 pm. The price for a stay on this campsite is 1,50€ a day. That means the use of the umbrella and the two loungers costs more than half of the daily stay here. This is the worst campsite in Italy I was in my life. Stay away!

Restaurant
La Taverna, a pizza restaurant in Orbetello, is surprisingly accommodating with its air-conditioned dining area and friendly staff who respond quickly to requests. One outstanding feature is the incredibly fast service, although it is advisable to make a reservation due to heavy visitor traffic. The red house wine receives favorable reviews, though the only drawback is the somewhat uncomfortable chairs.
Great restaurant with an hard working family ! We were eaten 2 nights, because the friendly workers, the old, but warm interior en ofcourse the great food for a nice price. The first diner, we ate pizza and the filet, especially the pizza was great, fresh from the wooden stove in front of our table. The second diner, we ate seafood, the mussels and spaghetti seafood, wich were tasteful and great again. Recommended for a visit !
Rob K — Google review
If you are lucky enough to be served, food is not bad. In about one hour we managed to get the pizza we ordered and two pasta. The pasta has been served some 45 minutes before the pizzas. We observed at least 3 orders 'delivered' to the wrong table and sent back to the kitchen for rerouting. We went to pay at the cash desk and the guy smiling told us that we could get a 10% 'discount' if not paying by card. In short: avoid the place.
Simone F — Google review
opposed to all of the negative reviews we had a great time here, even as foreigners. yes the waiters were in a rush every minute, but thanks to that we had our meal pretty soon after ordering. after trying many other pizzas around town, La Taverna’s pizza was on a whole other level, the though was exceptional and the rustic form of the pizza proves that it is done freshly and by hand.
Har M — Google review
Pleasantly Surprised! Hidden Gem Despite the Low Rating I honestly wasn’t expecting much based on the Google reviews, but this place completely blew me away. The pizza was perfection — crispy, wood-fired crust with just the right amount of chew, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The pasta? Absolutely divine. You could tell it was fresh and made with care — perfectly cooked and bursting with authentic Italian flavor.

The best food in Orbetello! Everything was so delicious - spaghetti frutti di mare, pomodoro, pizzas. The service is excellent.
Nadya M — Google review
Good food. Service can improve: it's really unorganised and my friend asked for spicy sauce three or four times and never got it. Environment was good, although we felt very narrow and our table was quite unstable. Overall a good place. Suggested

I was sceptical of this restaurant because of some reviews, but it turned out it’s an amazing place to eat. We felt very welcome as foreigners, the food was delicious and delivered within a reasonable time, the tiramisu was the best we had in all our trip around Italy. I think some forget that when visiting a foreign country they’re the responsible ones to adapt to that specific culture, not the other way around. Here people are lively, comunicative, with a lot of energy. I personally enjoyed how full of life the host is. We recommend this place!

Trattoria Rugantino is a charming eatery that serves delectable dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. This traditional restaurant offers an array of mouthwatering Roman specialties, such as carciofi alla romana (artichokes), bucatini amatriciana, pasta alla gricia, coda alla vaccinara, and saltimbocca alla romana. The food is prepared using high-quality ingredients that enhance the flavors.
We visited Trattoria Da Rugantino in Orbetello and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is charming, the food is homemade and authentically Italian, and the staff are very friendly. Everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true taste of Italy and a cozy dining experience. Well, we paid 105 EUR for 3 people. Pros: - nice, crispy fried food Cons: - The bread slices came from that kind of very stale batch that you would normally be afraid of feeding the ducks in a public pond. Why would you serve something like this as a starter? This was - seriously - the worst bread I've ever had. - There was no salt or pepper dispenser on the table and no olive oil either. You CAN do that, if you're sure that (a) your bread is so good that olive oil would simply spoil the fun or (b) if you always hit the sweet spot with your spice choices, in the eyes of every individual in the world. IF!!! - Value for money was pretty bad, especially from a quantity perspective, given the whole bill of over 100 EUR. - The fried potatoes (side dishes) that were to go alongside the main dishes came about 10 minutes before the main dishes such that they had cooled down by the time we were served the main dishes. - The restroom was in bad condition. - The staff wasn't very friendly but maybe that's because we didn't speak Italian. Whereas they did say thanks and applied the usual verbal formalities, I'm not sure I've noticed a single genuine smile. - There were no vegetables in any dish and the plate design was very spartan and not at all innovative. Summary: Too many blunders for a price way too high, while the food wasn't very memorable either.

Absolutely fantastic food the best meal we have had in Orbetello . Very quirky but the service is very slow when they are busy. I would recommend the wonderful slow cooked pasta Ragu and the lamb chops were delicious. Wine in a carafe was very good. They have a lovely seating area outside. Worth booking a table in advance to ensure a visit.

The place looks very nice. We are with a group of 4, one of us doesn't eat meat. When asked if they had a vegetarian menu or could make a salad (or something like that) the answer was no. Very bad because the rest of the food looks really good!

Wonderful roman food. We started with fried artichokes & zucchini flowers. Then pasta, the carbonara, cacio e pepe & gripepe (which I'd never tried before but was peppery and delicious!). House wine was great.
D ( — Google review
We visited this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The appetizer, cuttlefish in a tomato sauce with lots of peas, was a culinary first for me, and not in a good way. It was an odd combination that simply didn't work. The spaghetti all'amatriciana was passable, though nothing special. However, the saltimbocca was truly terrible. It was both unappealing to look at and to taste. The meat had a strange smell and was as tough as shoe leather. The wine was average. On the positive side, the service was quite pleasant, and they did remove the saltimbocca from our bill. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The quality of the food, especially the main course, was far below expectations.

A simple restaurant with amazing food. Here you can enjoy typical food from Rome in a very relaxed environment. We ordered carciofi alla romana (artichokes), bucatini amatriciana, pasta alla gricia, coda alla vaccinara and saltimbocca alla romana. All food was delicious and cooked with premium ingredients. Staff is very flexible and kids friendly. We really enjoyed the food experience and highly recommend it.

Watch your RECIPE!!! sadly we were billed 8€ for dessert and coffee although we never ordered them and didn't receive any either... This is just plain bad business practice and should never ever happen! The starters were really tasty and the carbonara was extremely creamy but a bit salty for our taste. I hope it was only a mishap but recommend everyone to really check their recipe before paying.

A couple arrived at the coast unexpectedly, having traveled from their Tuscany residence. They brought an umbrella and sunbeds and initially settled in the first row by the sea but later moved to the third row, possibly due to it being designated for renters only. The cost of renting was high (30) but reasonable for a refreshing drink. The restaurant offered a pleasant ambiance and delicious food, although some dishes like squid and fried fish were slightly overpriced.

My wife and I came to the coast from the heart of Tuscany and landed here by chance. For two or three hours, we brought an umbrella and sunbeds. First, they moved us from the first row by the sea to the third row??. If I understand correctly it is only there for renters? When I paid, the price was high (€30). The drink was refreshing and the price was reasonable.

V expensive loungers/shades - €45 for two beds! Clean toilets but you have to pay for a short shower. Close to parking and nice sheltered spot to enjoy the beach. Bar was ok price wise but limited range

Great food & atmosphere. A bit overpriced but dishes like the squid and fried fish were worth it. The octopus wasn’t moist and tender, definitely needs improvement

The beach is 90% empty and we wanted to sit first row. Note: we paid €40 together. The waitress told us that all the first row seats are taken. We are sitting here the whole afternoon and no one showed up. It is such a shame how they treat tourists. I would not recommend them!
Meg L — Google review
Average beach restaurant serving mainly fish courses. Grilled and fried scampis are good, with sizeable portions. Side dishes on the other hand are overpriced and sub standard. They were a bit short on staff and waiting times were quite long, plus no cleaning tissues after serving shellfish denotes a lack of attention. The area is rather pricey, but still our bill was a bit too expensive for the overall quality and the coffee tasted really bad.
Alberto R — Google review
Quality of food has unfortunately declined vs. last year. Appetizers were good, pasta small portions and tasteless. We skipped the mains. Pity we weren’t allowed to sit outside on a beautiful day (as no table was prepared). Staff was friendly though.

The restaurant boasts a laid-back atmosphere and offers an excellent dining experience with its extremely friendly staff. Situated on a shaded terrace overlooking the beach and the charming old town of Porto Ercole, guests can enjoy stunning views while indulging in their meals.
See those pictures and says it all. You literally eat by the beachside, with higher position and views! Made it back like 3 times... even for my birthday. Superior service and attention when you treat them nice... its italy, smiles are great both ways. My peoe loved it too. Fresh seafood, loved the cruditè, and the supreme wine sellection. Prices are good too!

EXCELLENT food and extremely nice staff. Shady terrace right on the beach/water, with a charming view of the old town of Porto Ercole and the sea. I particularly appreciated the staff's understanding when I asked to be seated far from a table with a dog (I have severe allergies☹), and they made sure two other couples with dogs who arrived after us (and initially wanted to sit next to us) were finally seated at a distance. 5 stars also for this consideration, as many restaurant personnel are not so accommodating.

Proximity is everything
For day 2, we bundled attractions like Stabilimento Balneare Bagno Delle Donne and Aldobrandesca Rocca di Talamone and other places within a close range, so that the time it takes to travel between all of them is less than one hour. 👍 What We Loved • Endless fun for kids: crab fishing, snorkeling, cliff jumping — pure summer adventure. • Great lunch spot: the lasagne was a hit, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Reserve a table early. • Simple but solid facilities: clean toilets, showers (small fee), and changing huts. • Easy access: nearby parking and a short walk down steps. • Local charm: friendly lifeguard helping the kids, feeding fish, and keeping the vibe relaxed and safe. ✅ Verdict Feels like a locals-only secret spot — genuine, charming, and full of character. A perfect alternative to the more touristy sandy beaches nearby. Highly recommended!

Amazing rocky beach, easy access, free parking within 400 m. 20 euro for half day sun umbrella and 2 sun beds: great price. The water was crystal clear. Services: shower, changing room, toilet, cute restaurant. Good customer service. Good food at the bar/ restaurant.

Perfect beach club, The service was excellent, and the facilities included showers, bathrooms, changing rooms, and a restaurant/café. The water was crystal clear—ideal for snorkeling with a scuba mask—and there were cliffs for jumping. The cost was €40 for two sunbeds with an umbrella

PROS -It is pretty much only accessible with car. -there are enough parking spots and it costs 2,50€ for the whole day; which is great! -Long, pleasant beach, with soft sand. -Not too crowded, even on high season. -Great for paddle boarding/ windsurfing CONS -No toilets!! So prepare accordingly -No bars, restaurants or anything (which is kind of a pro, but also a con if you get pretty thirsty/hungry) -No possible to wash sand off anywhere.

Ristorante Il Vicoletto Talamone Centro Storico is a relaxed eatery with rustic bricks and outdoor seating, offering a variety of antipasti, pasta, and seafood dishes. Located in a cozy village, the restaurant has around 7-8 tables inside as well as a small seating area outside. Despite arriving late, the owner graciously accommodated us. The menu features a decent selection of main courses and starters.
Best seafood ever for me in this restaurant ran by Neapolitans. Atmosphere is nice, food is delicious, service is great and owners are good entertainers. What else do you wish? Nearby you can walk in the streets by night of Talamone, and go to the port where maybe you have arrived by boat to the marina. Across you can reach Giglio Island. This was our best experience, not only in Talamone, but in Italy altogether! Service was superb, food was exceptional, and the staff felt more like family than servers. We highly recommend this place!!
Julia B — Google review
On a quiet Sunday evening in mid-June, freshly arrived in Talamone, I tried to sit down at this restaurant for dinner with my family (four people in total). Although we arrived very early (7:30 PM) and no tables were occupied, the restaurant manager, upon learning we didn’t have a reservation, literally laughed in my face and, with a vulgar gesture, rudely brushed us off. No one was around the restaurant except the servers waiting idly, sitting on the steps of the alleyway. We could have eaten immediately or waited for a table later in the evening. Yet, no options were offered to us. I fully understand that a restaurant might be fully booked, but such blatant disrespect is unbecoming of a hospitality professional. Perhaps their cuisine is excellent—I unfortunately didn’t get to experience it firsthand. What’s certain is that the manager is an utter lout who ought to learn a shred of basic manners and professionalism.

There is a small shower that runs at 20cent for bathing/washing the dog. The wonderful sea. The only difficulty to take into account is the black beach: be careful in the hours between 11am and 4pm it gets really hot and for large dogs like mine who cannot be picked up it is something to consider. (Translated by Google) I have been frequenting this cliff for over 40 years, as a child we used to come fishing near the mouth, and it was always pleasant to return. Years ago there was no paid parking, the bar with umbrellas and sunbeds was a quiet and natural place, and with the ladder you could reach the mouth of the canal. In recent years we have returned and the Etruscan cut seemed abandoned to itself, with rubbish on the ground, the smelly canal and the ladder interrupted for safety reasons. Yet we are visiting an important ancient engineering work, a canal dug into the rock to prevent the ancient port of Cosa from silting up. Today this important testimony from 2000 years ago goes completely unnoticed and misunderstood. It's a real shame: the area should be cleaned up and enhanced to make those who visit understand that it is not a simple seaside resort, but an area of high archaeological and environmental importance. At least explanatory panels should be placed and the access route cleaned and made safe.

The setup was done with little means, the tables are old and some pieces are missing. The commitment is admirable. My family and I still liked it. The staff with us was very kind and empathetic. I recommend that children bring an extra t-shirt, as the temperature difference with the outside can be high. It's recommended for its romantic ambiance, amazing service, and delicious food. The gnocchi is particularly noteworthy for its unique taste and incredible sauce. Additionally, it offers a wonderful starter of antipasto di mare and seafood prima piatti and mains.

Visiting from the U.S. with a large group to study food systems and was invited to dine at this restaurant. Everyone had varying food preferences and the chef was able to create dishes that worked for everyone as a group. The food was stellar and cooked very well, including the seafood. The calamari was some of the best calamari I have ever had -- and coming from the Bay Area where calamari is a mainstay on many menus, I can truly recommend it. I love the olive oil flavors and the exterior dining experience on a pretty quiet side of the street. The wine was equally exceptional, not bitter nor too sweet. If you have pre-existing notions of what American-Italian food is, leave them at home and come visit this restaurant with an open mind. Italian food is not what a typical American may think it is supposed to be, in fact, American-Italian food isn't Italian at all.

From an American palett, this was horrid. I've eaten much better Italian in the United States. In fact, olive garden (which i consider low end) is better than this. Clams were so salty we could not eat them. Pasta was hard. Salad was dry and disgusting. Ravioli was OK but definitely not close to best. 50+ eudos for a horrible meal. Definitely not worth it. Avoid.

Located near a roundabout, Ristorante A Paranza pleasantly surprised diners with an unexpectedly appetizing dinner. The seafood offerings were superb, with each dish bursting with flavor. The chef's culinary skills deserved applause for the delectable creations served. This establishment comes highly recommended for those seeking a memorable dining experience. While the food was commendable by non-Italian standards, it fell slightly short compared to other exceptional restaurants in the area that have spoiled patrons with their remarkable cuisine.

3rd time - 3rd attempt for a better attitude from the owner but the same rude inattentive service. Food is of decent quality but not that of authentic Sicilian and you can’t have certain dishes as it’s too much strain on the kitchen. Example 3ppl can’t order 3 different pastas. That’s RIDICULOUS! I truly don’t like leaving negative reviews but I can’t tolerate rudeness three different times. Everyone has a bad day but maybe it’s just his time to retire.

Very naturalistic and thanks to a recent storm that brought a lot of sand to the south side you can go around barefoot and swim without rock shoes. Be careful on the north side, as well as slippery stones and sticks you can also find sea urchins in the water, going barefoot is dangerous. no toilet facilities or kiosk so it is unthinkable to spend the whole day, ideal for a quick visit and a nice swim, crystal clear water suitable for snorkelling especially in the morning when there are no waves or boats passing in front to and from Talamone.

(Translated by Google) It's a pebble beach with no facilities, but it's easy to find a spot to set up an umbrella among the rocks and lie down. There's no proper parking lot, but people often park theirs on the side of the road that leads to the sea. There's room for about 10 cars in a line; we recommend arriving early, no later than 10 a.m., to secure a spot. Scooters, motorcycles, and bicycles are no problem. The sea water in front of the beach is truly breathtaking, clear and full of fish. Water shoes, a mask, and a snorkel are recommended. It's possible to swim over the rocks and reach the adjacent bay. A highly recommended experience! Esperienza consigliata!

(Translated by Google) The best Vermentino I have ever tasted is Bruni Perlaia. Having said this, which is not only me but also Luca Maroni, I must admit that I have been a customer of the winery for over a decade. In their wines there is the flavor and aroma of the Tuscan Maremma, there is the passion of the brothers in making a good wine, which over the years has become excellent. White, red or bubbles, take any and start the journey into one of Italy's wine excellences.

The reds that I prefer are the Grenache €18 per bottle, not cheap; Perlaia Syrah €8 per bottle and the Marteto (Morellino base) €6.50 per bottle. The Laurite is also wothwhile, a Morellino Riserva, but at €12.50 per bottle I prefer to go the extra mile and go for the Grenache. They also make two cheaper reds, Poggio d’Elsa, Sangiovese base blended with CS and Petit Verdot, not bad, at €6 per bottle and a cheap table wine called Regio for €4 per bottle. On the white side of the table they make two Vermentino, the Perlaia at €16 is an excellent white and the Vermentino Plinio at €6.50 is also an excellent white when cold during a hot summer. Then there’s a Regio white for €4 again which I have never tried. A big minus is that when visiting they are not organised for tastings, which I find ridiculous given that one travels maybe far to reach them but then you need to trust strangers like me for feedback on the wines. This is inexcusable. They say that they organise tastings but for groups and by appointment only! But then if you go to the Santa Lucia winery, just a few kilometres further north on the Aurelia, and which I also recommend, they welcome you with snacks and tastings of all their wines. I would give Bruni 5 stars if it were not for this in my mind not minor issue.

Spiaggia della Fertilia is a hidden gem for water sports enthusiasts, particularly kitesurfers and windsurfers. From May to September, the beach benefits from consistent north-west thermal winds that create ideal conditions for thrilling rides on the waves. The gentle sirocco adds an extra touch of excitement with its light breezes, making it even more enjoyable.

(Translated by Google) We stayed two nights in this magnificent farmhouse within the nature reserve at the end of September. A very private, welcoming and romantic place, away from the daily frenzy. The price of the rooms is medium-high, but includes full board and the obligation to book at least two nights. If this might initially make you turn up your nose a little, once you get there you immediately understand that two nights are not enough to fully enjoy the experience: total relaxation, detox from technology, sea and nature. The hotel staff is very kind, clear and attentive to the needs of all its guests, in particular the culinary ones which are immediately asked for at the beginning of the stay. A fundamental and particular aspect is that dinner is served for all guests at the same time (8pm), creating a pleasant and convivial moment. Breakfast is free and buffet style (not too varied but genuine and good). Access to the three beaches is private and reserved for guests of the farmhouse, so you can enjoy a beautiful sea without the risk of encountering foreigners or crowding (shoes recommended as it is rocky). The Internet does not connect anywhere in the reserve other than a few lines on one of the three beaches or near the reception, but once there you completely forget about wanting to use any device. It was a wonderful experience and we wish we could have stayed longer. Furthermore, it is possible to enjoy the whole day even if check out is at 10am on the day of departure. Even a take away lunch was prepared for us at no additional cost. We hope to be able to return.

Circolo Sporting Club Talamone AICS is a highly enjoyable restaurant with an upscale reputation. Though some might consider it expensive, the quality of the food is exceptional. The hummus with shrimps stands out as a unique and delicious option, even if it deviates slightly from traditional hummus recipes. The pizzas are also superbly crafted and reasonably priced. However, what truly sets this establishment apart is its staff.
Nice place with friendly staff!!! Good menu, a little bit difficult because only in Italian :) All meals very tasty, the cod was amazing and my kids really enjoyed pizza. Thank You for a nice evening!!!!

Very nice restaurant. Overpriced? Yes, but food is really nice. Hummus with shrimps is amazing even though it’s not exactly an orthodox hummus. Pizzas are great at a very reasonable price. But the best is the staff. The person at the reception is very welcoming and has great vibes. Our waiter with longish hair with nose piercing was also very friendly. A lot of waiters from posh restaurants could learn some light hearted attitude from him, really.

Not for tourists that can't speak italian!!! First there is no card. The waitress reads out the menu for us and tries to explain the meals in a very bad english. So what she told us along with others there is "cordon bleu" and "penne Carbonara". We ordered this + frittes +mixed salad. We got some bread - it tasted like nothing, a salad out of 2 tomatoes and some peaces of green salat without any dressing just with some packs of vinegar, salt, pepper. For the meal we got a little normal breaded peace of meat (no way near a cordon bleu), fries and a plate of baked vegetables (this is their Definition of Carbonara). So for a conclusion: we didn't got what we ordered, they speak very bad english, there is no card and their definition of meals is way different than what they really are.

Agriturismo Buratta is a charming rural accommodation, offering rustic accommodations in a modest farmstay setting. The establishment includes a deli and provides complimentary breakfast and parking facilities. Highly recommended by TripAdvisor users, this laid-back venue boasts a relaxed atmosphere where patrons can order at their own pace and find their seats before being called for their orders. With an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, the food served here is both authentic and organic.
Wonderful accommodation in the countryside! We had a very nice time here

Honestly I don't feel like giving more than two stars to an agriturismo, which, instead of focusing on sustainable materials and practices, uses plastic or disposable materials for serving any food and drink. I would expect this in the lowest class canteen, but not in a place nestled in nature and living from nature! I was horrified when I saw even the breakfast buffet presented in disposable materials. For me this is already a good reason not to go back. Also, in an agriturismo I would have expected much more choice in terms of vegetables and home made food, but at breakfast there was nothing like that (especially if I compare with the other properties we have stayed at during the time in Maremma, not agriturismo type but serving great choice of freshly made food with several vegetarian options). Not even eggs were served at breakfast. The savoury part was only cold cuts and cheese. Another point was the bathroom: it needs deep cleaning and reparations. And please replace mono plastic doses with big soap dispensers.

.We went to the classic cities to visit, rome, florence, milano and venice and we just stopped here for a night but it was enough to say it was the best decision we made the whole trip. When you travel to Tuscany you imagine to find yourself surrounded by nature, good food and friendly people. When you drive up to Agriturismo Buratta you find exactly that. To give you a taste of a familiar cuisine and environment you are welcomed by Lorenzo and his amazing staff that will make sure you feel at home. The tables are located outdoor on different levels on the side of a hill where the local fox may come and say hi every now and then. The portions are generous and the choice of local dishes is vast for first courses (pasta dishes) and second courses (meat based dishes). For what concerns appetizers there is a list of cured hams, salame, cheese and pickled and preserved veggies that they make with produce from their property. You can either ask for a selection of certain products or a mixed platter with a bit of everything. There are plenty of desserts to choose from and they are all delicious. As a table of four we tried all different dishes in order to taste a bit of everything they had on the menu. The ratio price/food is very good. Will definitely come back in the future with more friends.

We have been there to eat dinner, very different experience than other restaurants. Was not really bad, but Google found it as best restaurant in whole Talamone area, as non-Italian I can not agree. My vegetarian gnocchi with cheese and mushrooms was just okay, my boyfriend ordered ribs that were very different from typical ribs, small portions. Place is mostly for Italians (there was lots of people anyway, parking was full), was okay but no fireworks. On a side note, place called itself bio-something (which refered to food, I understand that), but all the plates were made of paper, cups for water- plastic. At least fork and knifes were normal. Very bad of them. There was couple of containers to segregate the trash we were served along with food, but dirty paper goes to mixed trash, not paper anymore. That was the worst part of this visit :(
Sabina S — Google review
I've been here 3 times for dinner now and every time it's perfect! It's never let me down! I shared a mixed platter of cured meats, cheeses and vegetables to start...and the cold cuts are always top notch...and don't get me started on the cheeses! After that I decided to go for the Pici alla Buttera (again!). They're a bigger and thicker spaghetti-like pasta which is the best way to describe them. Cooked al dente with a suasage and olive ragù...and every time it's out of this world! The sauce coats the inside of your mouth so well, full flavour here! :D Finally as a main I went for the suckling pig which was moist, juicy and the crackling perfect! Roast diced potatoes also done to perfection! Most of what you eat here is produced by them or aquired locally in the Maremma area, so you can't get more local than that...deserves 6 stars. So, all you tourists will be in for a treat if you decide to go there! :)

Decided to come here because it was suggested pn TripAdvisor and one of our friends suggested it. Very casual and laid back. You order, seat yourself and your name is called when the order is ready. Honestly food, bio and local. No frills attached. Nice location. Only miss are the 'dishware ' is plastic...too much waste for a place so into being local and 'authentic'. Appetisers are a bit pricy but all in all, Good meal for a good price.

Pizzeria Stella Marina is a delightful spot for pizza lovers seeking a quick and affordable bite. With slices priced between €1 to €3, you can indulge in quality ingredients without breaking the bank. The unique dough may differ from traditional styles, but it adds to the charm of this eatery. While seating is limited—mostly geared towards takeout—you'll find that their long Sunday hours make it easy to grab a delicious meal on the go.

Thankfully very long opening hours on a Sunday! Here you can get a cheap, tasty and filling meal that is suitable for vegetarians as well. There is only one table for seating outside so it seems more like a takeout store than a restaurant.

It’s very simple - pizza, in slices, cheap and fast. Very convenient for a snack. Only drawback is that the dough - pizza base - is specific - not like traditional ones that you might be used to, a bit different. Overall - recommended. Not much space for parking a car - best to do it along the street.

Delicious pizza .. impressed by the price difference compared to Rome. Prices varies from Eur 1 to 3 per slice with quality ingredients Had a slice of anchovies and tomatoes pizza paid Eur 2.50 plus Eur 1 for water and 2.50 for a lemonade drink.
