The Parola Armour Museum, located in the small town of Parola near Hameenlinna, Finland, is a top attraction for history enthusiasts. The museum boasts an extensive collection of over 50 tanks and military vehicles from different periods in the 20th century. Visitors can expect to spend around 2 to 3 hours exploring the exhibits, which are described in English and other languages. The entrance fee is reasonable at 10 euros with discounts available for various groups including military personnel.
As a volunteer at a tank museum in New York and a writer for the Tank Encyclopedia, I knew I had to visit this museum when I could. I finally did, and it did not disappoint. Lots of extremely rare armor, great displays, and functional armor. My guide, Niko, was very knowledgeable and we spoke well over an hour while looking at the exhibits.
Chris — Google review
It was perfect. The tickets, if you're a student, have a discount so it was pretty cheap. The museum is very nice, they got AA's, APC's, tanks... So many vehicles. You can even climb some tanks. Climbing on them was an awesome experience. The staff was also very nice too. 10/10, definitely worth it would come here again.
Yusuf C — Google review
The Parola Armour Museum presents a fascinating journey through the history of armored vehicles, from early models to modern tanks. It also places Finland’s military past in a broader context, touching on alliances and conflicts involving Nazi Germany and Russia. A well-organized and informative museum for anyone interested in military history and technology. I especially enjoyed the armoured train on display, that is rarely seen in exhibits.
Nicolai N — Google review
Review based on one visit. Located about 110 km north of Helsinki in Hattula, the Parola Armour Museum offers an extensive collection of roughly 70 tanks, 40 anti‑tank weapons, plus a full armoured train, largely unique within Europe. The only surviving BT‑42 assault gun, one of only two T‑50 light tanks left globally, and the only known BA‑10 armoured car in existence can be seen here. The indoor exhibition halls cover Finnish post‑WWI armoured unit origins, WW2 conflicts, Cold War and modern developments, with gear, medals, uniforms, and personal stories of Finnish service members. The outdoor hillside exhibits are protected by shell shelters and display retired tanks in realistic condition—some rusted, others restored. Recommended visit duration: 1.5 to 3 hours to explore indoor halls, outdoor exhibits, café, and shop.
Catalin M — Google review
Fantastic museum! Saw many amazing vehicles that are uncommon to see elsewhere. Definitely worth visiting. Includes a lot of Finnish history of well. 🇫🇮 Very interesting!
Naomi T — Google review
Parola Armour Museum shows real tanks, cannons, and army vehicles from WWII and modern age. You can try a cannon simulator that lets you aim and “fire” like in real training. A big highlight is the armored train, which is rare and almost complete, used in continuation war. The museum also has the only BT-42 tank left in the world. Cafe is also quite nice but don’t expect much from it ;) Hint: get a combined ticket with other local museums - it is 25 EUR but you get 4 museums to go.
Aleksandr O — Google review
It was a very pleasant surprise for me to see how big the place is and how much you have to see. The museum is big and you can easily spent a lots of time until you see all the tanks. The place is full of history and what is awesome is the fact that you can actually climb on two tanks, I found that a unique experience, to actually walk on top of a tank. When I visited the museum they had the Tiger II in there, a quite impressive a beautiful machine. I recommend the museum with all my heart, it's a beautiful place. P.S. They have even a simulator for artillery, you can shoot tanks (of course virtual) with an real piece of artillery. Thank you very much Parola Tank Museum! I had a very good experience and I will come back for more.

We did a Scandinavia trip this summer and we finished in Finland. My son begged me to come here and it was only an hour outside of Helsinki by train. We actually stopped in at Hameenlinna and toured a few museums there before taking an Uber to this museum. Long story short, it was worth the trip. So many exhibits and some very good history to read about. Several exhibits that the kids can get inside and move around on too so it was super cool. Very reasonably priced too. Would definitely do it again if/when we ever make our way back!

Häme Castle

Castle
Häme Castle, the most famous landmark in Hämeenlinna, is a medieval fortress dating back to the late 13th century. It offers captivating insights into Finland's history through its exhibitions and guided tours. The castle is conveniently located near the train station, allowing visitors to enjoy a scenic walk along the beautiful river Hameenlinna has to offer.
Highly recommended place to visit 🙌❤️🎉 Buy ticket advance from the website or you can buy on spot. Not too much crowded and spent quality time ✨ You can also roam around castle and enjoy food from cafe or buy suvenior from the shop 🤩
Mahbub K — Google review
A charming little medieval castle with beautiful lake views. The exhibitions are interesting, and it gets better the higher up you go. The castle can also be rented as an event venue and maybe even better as a venue than a museum. You can also try armors and medieval peasant outfits which is super fun!
İsidora — Google review
This is not my favourite castle in Finland but it is worth visiting at least once. It’s quite big so reserve at least couple of hours to check it properly. Info guide is available in English also. There are some tours around the castle, you can join them with no extra cost, but make sure to check the time on the website ahead of your visit. Free entry with the museum card
Olha K — Google review
The castle itself is quite impressive from the outside, but inside it feels rather empty and lacks many exhibits. Those that are on display are not necessarily related to the castle’s history. The real highlight is the castle building itself, with its fascinating architecture and the many little passages that make it fun to explore. One drawback is that English signage is missing in some areas, which can make it difficult for international visitors. The surroundings, however, are beautiful – especially the lake – and once the park renovation is completed, the setting will be even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s worth a visit, especially if combined with the nearby military museum and the old prison.
Dragutin K — Google review
Häme Castle is a well-maintained historical site with impressive architecture. While the structure itself is in good condition, there’s little original interior or furniture left, which makes it feel somewhat empty. Still, it's an interesting visit for those curious about Finnish history and medieval castles.
Nicolai N — Google review
Beautiful castle . We could not get in because it’s closed . Surrounding areas is beautiful so worth a walk around. Recommended .
Ajith D — Google review
We did not get to enter but we walked the grounds because we arrived after close. Beautiful buildings and grounds.
Bryan J — Google review
The castle and surrounding area is a very lovely place to visit, especially, during the medieval fair. It takes place every June and attracts thousands of likeminded people. You may not only appear as a kont or a knight but also buy local crafts and even rent a costume. There are medieval fights, horse racing, archery and other tournaments happening. Besides, the selection of foods is amazing! You may also grad a local brew, sahti, but be careful 😅 P.s. if you are going to museums - but a combined ticket!

The Prison Museum in Hameenlinna is a must-visit attraction, offering an intriguing look into the city's history. The museum features three levels of former prison cells, corridors, and rooms with informative displays about the prison, its inmates, and their daily lives. Visitors can gain insight into the progressive Finnish jail system while exploring this unique museum. It is recommended to purchase a common ticket for access to all three museums in Hameenlinna at a reduced price.
A must-see for history lovers! The Hämeenlinna Prison Museum offers a captivating look at over 150 years of Finnish prison life. The original cells, artifacts, and detailed displays really bring the past to life. It’s fascinating to see how punishment and rehabilitation evolved over time. Well worth a visit!
İsidora — Google review
Interesting museum, but everything is from 90s, would have been nice to see something older.
Niina — Google review
Buy a combo ticket with castle and armour museum if visiting all three, Costs 19 Eur. This was a different experience for me. Some of the procedures and exhibits reiterate how good it is to be on the right side of law. Would recommend to visit if close by Hameenlinna.
Prasanna K — Google review
Note: buy a combo ticket for all three museums! It saves a lot! 😎 The prison museum is both calm and fascinating. Walking through the old cells gives a real sense of the conditions inmates once faced, those do not seem too harsh. The exhibits are well done and thought-provoking. Probably, my most favorite museum in Hämeenlinna!
Aleksandr O — Google review
Buy a combo ticket that includes military museum, castle and prison museum. We first visited the castle, then the prison museum which is basically accross the castle ticket booking area. Next, we walked a little bit and entered the military museum. All these places are highly recommended. We were four people and it took almost 7 hours to complete. Not everything was written in English so we were quick to skip some of the things we did not understand the importance. You can take pictures and video without any restrictions. Just a quick tip, there is a nature reserve just 9 kms away from the castle. We had a picnic by the lake and surrounded by trees.
Abir C — Google review
Disturbing atmosphere and exhibits and history, would not recommend coming here with children, though there were a lot of kids here. Interesting to read, to see how it was functioning, and how people served here. Come and visit if you came for the castle. Free admission with the museum card
Olha K — Google review
Very interesting museum - I believe that most interesting from all three accessible in Haemenlina. Three levels of former prison cells, corridors and other rooms with brief history information about prison, prisoners and their day-to-day living conditions. I wholehartly recommend it. To be honest, the best solution is common ticket, which may be bought for all of three museums for significantly reduced price in comparison to single tickets.

The Artillery, Engineer and Signals Museum of Finland, situated in the heart of Hameenlinna, offers a captivating journey through the nation's military history from medieval times to the present day. It is a top-rated attraction showcasing the role of artillery in Finnish military heritage with an extensive collection of weapons, vehicles, and equipment dating back to the 16th century. The museum spans multiple buildings and outdoor yards for heavy artillery displays.
Interesting and very informative museum. All together three floors full of history ending up to modern days.

Very interesting museum where I discovered a lot about military things related to artillery, engineering and signalling. The museum has three floors with exhibitions and also has an outdoor place where you can see vehicles and weapons equipment. A combined ticket with the Hämeen Castle can be bought.

Review based on one visit. Museo Militaria is a must‑visit in Hämeenlinna for history buffs, tech‑curious families, and anyone keen to explore Finland’s national defence heritage. With its mix of immersive exhibits, broad collection, and scenic location, it remains one of the top military museums in Northern Europe. Tips: - Plan 2–3 hours to explore both the indoor galleries and outdoor artillery yard, with time for café or shop visits. - Guided tours are available in Finnish, Swedish, and English with reservation. - If you’re also visiting Parola Tank Museum or Häme Castle, consider discounted combo tickets.
Catalin M — Google review
Very interesting, even for someone who isn't really interested in military matters. The history of Finland was described wonderfully. However, the translations into English seemed to stop on the second floor! Very friendly lady at reception.
Estelle R — Google review
Buy a combo tickets and enjoy the history peacefully. You can literally touch some of the cannons, tanks and artillery.
Abir C — Google review
Nice place inside and outside. Can be interesting for that who knows or is interested in story of swastika in Finland - it used since 1920 in Suomi (Army, Navy, Air Force) and is not "German idea". This is the real history of Finland and just respect it!
Robin B — Google review
Spread between buildings on multiple floors and outside yards for heavy artillery. Buying a combo ticket with castle and Prison museum will cost you 19 Eur, and needs to be purchased at the castle. If buying a separate Artillery museum, it costs 10Eur Adult price. Knowing Finnish History and its wars will help you enjoy the museum. If you lack that knowledge and are not familiar with Ammunition in general it will be just a stroll.

Ravintola Dolce Amore is a charming Italian eatery that invites you to indulge in its authentic culinary offerings. Nestled near the Hameen Linna castle, this cozy spot may be located in a parking lot, but it compensates with delightful views and a warm atmosphere. Diners rave about the variety of dishes available, making it an excellent choice for those seeking quality meals in Hämeenlinna.
A very lovely place. I had a fun time eating the lovely food and having a thank you war with the waiter. Id give it 7 stars out of 5 if I could. Thank you -the pink haired canadian

Chicken salad smothered in three different dressings. The chicken is of poor and salty quality. The customer service is by far the worst I’ve come across around Hämeenlinna in a long time. Others in the party had a jalopeno burger, wings and cheeseburger. None were anything to go back. Would avoid. The salad has also changed from the past, so perhaps a new owner?
Sonja H — Google review
Nice service and nice food. Not too many good places to eat in Hämeenlinna and this definitely one of the best. Surroundings could be nicer as it is located in the parking lot to the Hämeen Linna (castle) but the view is nice. Good variety of dishes. Can recommend.
Rene R — Google review
Basic good grill food, big portions. A bit of a long wait, but there were a lot of other customers. Speakers turned on and off every so often it was a bit annoying.
Ella L — Google review
Basic food, ok quality. However, this fellow covers all elements on the plate with a with a spice mix that overpowers everything else, I suspect because anything else he serves up tastes of nothing at all!

If you're in Hameenlinna and seeking a delightful dining experience, look no further than Ravintola Piparkakkutalo. This charming eatery, whose name translates to "gingerbread house," exudes an old-world charm reminiscent of the sweet treat itself. Established in 1987 on the site of Albert Edelfelt's childhood home, this restaurant is housed within a century-old building adorned with white "scaled" walls that evoke the essence of gingerbread.
Delicious, high-quality food and tasty drinks. The portion sizes were perfect and the service was great. Also, one of the nicest restaurant bathrooms I've ever been in :)

The food and service are worsen. It’s used to be my favourite place in Hämeenlinna. We ordered steak and fish of the day. The steak was fine, however the fish of the day was not good. The whole meal was quite cold already when it was served. For the price we pay, I think it is not worth the price.

Hämeenlinna Art Museum, located near the city center of Finland, is a must-visit for art enthusiasts. The museum boasts an extensive collection of over 8000 Finnish and international artworks from the late 19th century to the present day. Visitors can explore diverse exhibitions in the main building and classic contemporary art collections in another building.
Hämeenlinna Art Museum has a beautiful collection and a well-designed layout that makes the visit enjoyable. It’s impressive to see such stunning and impactful artworks, especially the contemporary pieces, in a small city.

Nice museum, consist of two buildings. With the museum card - free entrance. We didn’t like the current temporary exhibition, so didn’t take any pictures of it. It left quite bad aftertaste and ruined the experience, that’s why 3 stars only. But permanent exhibition in the main building was good, even though also a bit dark. But worth checking out!
Olha K — Google review
They have small parking, but near is lot more, though it's not free. Small galleria beautiful building. Must see, if you visit Hämeenlinna.
Maria K — Google review
The museum itself is quite small and honestly a bit unremarkable. There wasn’t much to really catch my interest beyond a few paintings. I found the Jukka Korkeila exhibition particularly disturbing—not really my taste and not something I’d recommend if you prefer more traditional or uplifting art. Overall, it’s an okay stop if you’re already in Hämeenlinna, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.
İsidora — Google review
A diversely curated collection in the main building. We really enjoyed it and had the chance to discuss the artworks with the kids. Display selection seems also well thought of and made sense to me. It is true that it will require a bit more than 2 hours to visit all the rooms, especially if you choose to also visit the more classic contemporary art collection building (neo- and post-Impressionistic works etc.).

Palander House, located in Finland, is a must-visit sightseeing destination. This 19th-century house-museum provides a fascinating insight into the affluent Finnish lifestyle of that era through guided tours available in English. The museum showcases imperial and art-nouveau furniture, along with charming details such as a double-sided mirror for observing street fashion and authentic children's drawings from the period.
Period house from 19th century. Interesting items, great atmosphere. Amiable and knowledgeable guide (at least in Finnish).

Beautiful glimpse into Finnish bourgeois life! Palander House is a wonderfully preserved historic home that transports you straight to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Every room is full of authentic details, from elegant furniture to everyday objects. The guides are knowledgeable and share so many interesting stories about the family who lived here and the era’s customs. It’s a charming, atmospheric museum that really brings local history to life. Highly recommended for anyone interested in culture and heritage!

The city centre of Hämeenlinna houses the prominent Skogster Museum, which is part of the Hameenlinna Art Museum and City Museum. At this museum, visitors can explore the oldest exhibition of a Savings Bank Museum in Nordic countries on its upper floor.
Small but the video about Hämeenlinna history is worth the visit. Nice building, exhibition upstairs changed regularly. Free for museokortti.

Lovely museum, though we expected a bit more of it. Current exhibition is about dreams, sleep, I’d say it is a bit weak for the city museum, we expected something more impressive. It was still interesting, if you’re in the area - come and check it out. Free admission with the museum card

Some marvelous town history of Hameenlinna, video stories, artifacts and some modern art upstairs.
Hilary P — Google review
A real gem in the centre of Hämeenlinna, great large screen film showing the history of the town, and upstairs currently a "swinging 60's" exhibition, everything well displayed and presented, staff very knowledgeable.
Colin B — Google review
Contained absolutely nothing. Only a short film of the later history of Hameenlinna. The one star is for the clothes I could try on and take photos. It should be half a star. There were no artifacts of the old town - everything is in storage???!!

Fun little museum, but not much to see. Exhibit texts are predominantly only in Finnish. I'd only recommend with Museokortti.

Sibelius Childhood Home, located in Hameenlinna, Finland, offers a glimpse into the early life of Jean Sibelius, the renowned Finnish composer. The house provides insight into his formative years and the natural surroundings that inspired his music. Visitors can explore artifacts and exhibits related to Sibelius's life and work, gaining a deeper understanding of the influences that shaped his musical genius.
It’s a small, cozy home, but it leaves a big impression, offering a wonderful glimpse into the life and belongings of such an important figure in Finnish culture.
Gökçe K — Google review
Interesting but quite small. The Sibelius House is worth a visit if you’re interested in the composer’s early life, but be aware it’s a very small museum with only a few original items belonging to Sibelius himself. Most of the displays are period furnishings rather than personal artifacts. Still, it’s nice to see the house where he was born, and the staff were friendly and informative. A short but pleasant stop for classical music fans.
İsidora — Google review
Beautiful home. I was lucky enough to attend a concert of Sibelius's early works here.

Very interesting small museum, where you get a short glance into the life of Sibelius-family. I must highlight the enthusiastic, local patriot staff. However there is a good opportunity to buy a combined ticket which is valid to the Palanderin House either. This is 6-7 minutes walk on foot from Sibelius' birthplace.

Dragon Chinese Restaurant is a beloved culinary gem that has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Renowned for its exceptional Kung Pao chicken, this eatery offers a delightful blend of spice and flavor that keeps patrons coming back for more. Whether you're stopping by for an affordable weekday lunch or grabbing generous takeout to enjoy at your hotel, Dragon Chinese Restaurant consistently delivers delicious meals.
Simply the best chinese restaurant i've ever experienced! Kungpo chicken is fantastic! It's spicy and tasty. Everyone I know loves this place. I would eat nothing else but dragon's kungpo chicken if had a chance. If you visit Hämeenlinna, you should definitely try this place out!
Jesse S — Google review
Buffet with rather limited options but the fried chicken was surprisingly good. The service was satisfactory and the place itself was quite cozy for a Chinese restaurant. Most Chinese restaurants I have been to have been better than this one. This was, however, my first Chinese experience in Hämeenlinna.
Mauno-Juhani K — Google review
Below average Chinese restaurant. On lunch buffet there was only two options of meat, both of them with exactly the same sauce, which on top of all was too salty. The restaurant room is very small and some of the tables are located between two columns so you don’t have space to move your chair back at all and are forced to slide on and off it sideways. Me most definately not like.😡
Sauli T — Google review
The food wasn't that bad, but the lack of variety killed it for me. Quality isn't top notch either, it's just your usual chinese buffet. Chairs were a bit uncomfortable, but it gets a plus for cold water brought straight to the table.

Nepalese restaurant
I really enjoy this Nepalese eatery in the heart of the city, which offers ample seating. Their lunch buffet is diverse and changes daily on weekdays, including dishes like chicken, fish/prawn, beef/lamb, and vegetable curry. The drinks selection consists of refreshing beverages such as chilled mango lassi, coffee, and milk tea. Additionally, they serve individual servings of warm naan bread at each table alongside options like rice and noodles/chowmein.
The variety of dishes in buffet, the rich Nepali flavors was outstanding, and i must say hospitality was at its peak.
Sadhana K — Google review
It was ok. The princes are the same in many other Nepalese restaurants in Finland and the food was ok. Nothing "extraordinary", but fine. It was clean and the music was not too loud.
Maria K — Google review
Think twice or thrice before you go to this 'Ravintola Siddharta' if you are from an Asian background, specially if you are going for buffet. I visited this restaurant buffet twice, and both times I was left utterly disappointed. The first time, I thought maybe it was just a mistake or a one-time issue, but after my second visit, I realized this is a consistent pattern. As an Asian customer, I felt completely neglected. It became painfully obvious that this restaurant does not care about its Asian patrons. The staff seems only interested in taking your money and offering the bare minimum in terms of service. The food was not filling at all, with many trays empty for long periods, and some dishes were simply missing altogether. It was frustrating and completely unacceptable. The most disappointing part was the lack of attention to customers. When we asked for refills or needed assistance, we were met with indifference. This was not just a bad experience – it was clear to me that the treatment was different because of my ethnicity. It felt like they only served Asian customers minimally, as if we weren’t a priority. For a buffet, I expected better service and food quality. Sadly, I will not be returning to this place, and I do not recommend it to any Asian living in Finland, especially if you value good service and respect as a customer.

If you are on the highway from Helsinki to Tampere, this is nice place to break for lunch/ dinner. Nice and clean place, center of the city. A little difficult to get Parking place. Food was tasty, portions were optimal sized, could be a little bigger. Customize your spice levels when ordering, or else it turns a bit spicy. Good number of options to choose from.

Love this Nepalese place in the city centre with ample sitting space. The lunch buffet has a huge variety including a dish of each - chicken, fish/prawn, beef/lamb dish and vegetable curry ( the options/ recipes keep changing daily on the weekdays). Also includes drinks like chilled mango lassi ♡, coffee and milk tea( chai). In addition to rice and noodles/chowmein in the buffet, they serve individual warm naan bread servings on the table. Totally worth the money (10/11 euro per head). Edit: in summers they have aircoditioning too inside. It's quite a comfortable restaurant with amazing variety

Fresno Bar & Kitchen, located on the second floor without elevator access, has received top ratings in various aspects. The food is exceptional with a diverse menu that includes steaks and burgers, which are particularly enjoyed by customers named Su and Tu. The restaurant's interior is aesthetically pleasing, creating a tranquil and spacious atmosphere. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. While the burgers are good but not outstanding, one customer mentioned that they could have been juicier.

Probably the best experience in Hämeenlinna. We had samples as starters and they were fresh, hot and fried as they should be. Couldn't have done any better. I ate tuna beef and my friend had a burger. They were also just perfect which is rare to say about any restaurant. Nice sparkling wine and good service so our experience was definitely five stars.
Hanna H — Google review
The service is solid, nothing to complain about there. Same goes for the feel, aesthetic, tables and cleanliness. My issue was with the food. it is quite pricey and the portions aren't massive either. So you expect it to taste great at least. What I had was the pepper steak. I expected to be able to taste the steak more than the pepper. That was not what I got. The potatoes on the side were simple and tasted great. The vegetables were good without the sauce, but they don't work well with a steak. The pepper was overpowering and ruined a good cut of meat and an assembly of vegetables. Please order something else if you ever go here

Holy Cross Church is a stunning Gothic-style church dating back to the early 1300s, located in a walled churchyard. The interior boasts well-preserved naive frescoes from the early 16th century, depicting key stories of the Bible. Notably, the Tree of Jesse in the vestry is particularly exquisite. Additionally, visitors can admire a beautifully carved and painted pulpit from 1550 and several wooden statues depicting religious scenes.
Wonderful example of medieval Finnish Church with colourful "a secco" paintings and beautiful carved sculptures. One of the only three medieval building made of bricks in Finland, together with Turku's cathedral and Hämeenlinna's Castle.

Went here with my mum, brother and grandparents in the summer of 2021. My grandparents got in the line a bit too late and didn't make it to the tour (I think the limit was either 20 or 30 people in 2021). Luckily the tour guide allowed my mum, my brother and I to swap spots with them. The church was beautiful from what we could see, and my grandparents loved the tour. And we loved the gift shop! The understanding tour guide helped us have a special last day trip together. We are very grateful. 10/10

(Translated by Google) The senses were fully catered for with visual art. The downstairs gallery was wonderfully designed with different sized spaces, where you could enjoy the artist's works in peace and then move on to the next space. Here, both professionals and amateurs were in perfect harmony. Upstairs, happy women were busy making glass works. Yes, it was worth coming to Turku too! I recommend (Original) Aistit saivat täyden kattauksen visuaalista taidetta. Täällä sulassa sovussa niin ammattilaiset kuin harrastelijatkin. Yläkerrassa ahersivat iloiset naiset lasitöitä tehden. Kyllä kannatti tulla Turussakin! Suosittelen

(Translated by Google) A beautiful, old stone church. Well-maintained paths to the graves, a memorial to those buried elsewhere in connection with Uurnalehto. Beautiful and there is plenty of space for flowers and candles. Beautiful and atmospheric as a baptismal, marriage and funeral church. The congregation will take care of any problems quickly. However, there is room for improvement in the winter maintenance of the cemetery - those using assistive devices cannot access the graves if the paths have not been plowed and sanded. (Original) Kaunis, vanha kivikirkko.

Prabin S — Google review
Very nice environment, best lookout view in Finland, especially when there are some clouds in the sky. Very easy hiking, maybe 5 minutes to hike and then Voila you are in the position to enjoy the scenery landscape. It also has a tower which i think in summer is open for the visitors and also is free. Also a good cafe besides the view point which has good coffees and cakes.
Hamed D — Google review
Nice area with some really beatiful views, the only problem is that it's not really a nature preserve park: It's an area with scattered sights connected by common roads. It's not very comfortable to walk where cars drive.
Nikita L — Google review
Amazing place for any lake activities , hiking, sauna, bbq. The place is very clean and welcoming. You have easy car access to the main attractions ( some require very little walking to reach), with parking spots scattered nearby.

Took a very long time to get my food and the food was good but I saw someone say that they use spoiled ingredients and on one of my pizza slices it had only 1 olive and chairs aren't very comfortable and the drinks are very expensive and the payment machine was broken And also took the bottle I paid for and even when I said "wait!" He still put it in some bag with probably many people's bottles and I couldnt even get pantti even though the drink literally costed as much as just a big bottle from s market I had to pay that price for a 0.5L bottle

ABC Tiiriö liikenneasema is a fantastic pit stop for travelers journeying between Helsinki and Tampere. This convenient location offers a delightful buffet filled with a variety of tasty options, alongside coffee and snacks to keep you energized on the road. For those craving fast food, there's also a Hesburger available. Electric vehicle owners will appreciate the newly installed charging stations, allowing for quick recharges during your 15-30 minute break.
Pretty much everything under the same roof, and the buffet has really nice variety of selections. Bonus star from the new EV charging stations that are coming during the Fall.
Jani J — Google review
Went for charging and toilet break, quite many fast charging and well organised layout. Could have been more indication signs though.
Linfeng L — Google review
What is wrong with the cashier? I mean.. hello? So we 3 of us were there for the buffet and the other two person with me don’t speak English and one of them was trynna order for three and said “three” but I guess the cashier didn’t hear or understand he said “what?” and then I told him to make it three and when the we were trying to pay we were quiet confused abt it and couldn’t find the tapping spot for a bit and then the cashier helped to tap it but then he didn’t even return the card on the hand he just tapped and left it to drop.. I mean I get that anyone can have bad days going on but that kinda attitude is not what a costumer prefers. Ik it might sound as not a big deal but as was there it didn’t seem right to me. The food was just fine.
Yani R — Google review
We tried to have lunch here, but the cashier decided not to sell us lunch, according to him the time for lunch has ended for us. The customers after us were sold lunch normally. There was plenty of food in the buffet, So what was the reason? Hopefully ABC Tirriö does not waste all that food, in stead of selling it to the customers?! Our money was not good enough, or the employee did not care? Would be nice to know. Please select better employees and improve the service. There are ABC's all around Finland. We do not have to stop to this one anymore. Once was enough. Thumbs down.
Rezi M — Google review
I've seen cleaner and better maintained toilets among the freeways of Poland. Absolute disgrace to ABC-chain. There are dirt on the walls, broken toilets, and broken locks. Not cool
