Nestled at the southern end of Cleethorpes, the Cleethorpes Boating Lake is a delightful oasis that beckons visitors with its serene charm. This picturesque park features a lovely trail that encircles the lake, where you can spot playful ducks and graceful swans gliding across the water. Families will appreciate the wading pool for kids, making it an ideal spot for a fun-filled day out.
Such a beautiful area. I've been to Cleethorpes quite a few times and never new this existed. It's dog friendly, although they do need to be kept on a lead.

It is a lovely place to admire the birds and go for a peaceful wander around. There were plenty of different types of birds to see and it has a nice atmosphere! The views are lovely all away around the lake. Plenty of seats which is nice to stop and relax for a bit.

Coffee very very nice. Breakfast looked good was nice and hot. Was dissapointed, Bacon didnt make an apperance on my plate and the sausage was hard. I had a good seat indoors away from the wind overlooking the wildlife in the lake.

Scenic Railroads
Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a charming narrow-gauge railway that offers trips and events along the Cleethorpes foreshore and Lakeside in Lincolnshire. It is the last surviving steam light railway on the east coast of England, providing a nostalgic experience with its old-school locomotive train. The ticket prices are reasonable, making it a great addition to a holiday in Cleethorpes. The journey is popular among younger children and offers plenty of scenic views along the way.
Great miniature train ride and lovely staff , very interesting exhibition at the lakeside station ( where the cafe and small bar are located, plenty of parking ( paid £4 for 4 hours ) adjacent to the station
Garry N — Google review
A Charming Seaside Experience – Perfect for All Ages! We had a wonderful day at the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. It’s a beautifully kept heritage railway with loads of nostalgic charm, running right along the scenic coastline. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It was a lovely day out, especially enjoyed by my toddler who absolutely loves steam trains. Watching his face light up as the steam engine pulled into the station was priceless! The ride itself was smooth and relaxing, with lovely views along the way. The stations were clean and well maintained, and we really enjoyed the little café and museum too. It’s a perfect outing for families and train enthusiasts alike. We’ll definitely be back—highly recommended if you’re in Cleethorpes!
Chloe B — Google review
We enjoyed this! The trains ran to time, every 30 minutes. We did a return journey & got off to spend a short while at far end where there is a pub (live music today, a Saturday in July) & a small cafe & gift shop, There's a fair amount of parking at the far end, & a large EV charging hub so you could start from this end & use the train to get to the promenade. There's a path alongside the railway, looks tarmacked the whole way & good for wheelchairs / pushchairs too - guess you might do a single trip & walk the other way (about 2km). The train has a wheelchair accessible carriage for 1 wheelchair or mobility scooter per trip. We got on without having to wait. Our group, 1 in wheelchair, 2 other adults & a dog fitted in the carriage nicely ..,a staff member was there to put ramp up & down, & safely lock it, without us waiting.

The Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a narrow gauge railway that runs along the edge of the coast. It is a great place to visit with children. There is an exhibition showing the history of the railway. There is a nice cafe and gift shop and plenty of outside covered seating. The signal box is a great little pub.
Andrew N — Google review
Very good for value, lovely views. Definitely recommend again! ❤️ also did the crazy golf it was fun however the golf course itself wasn’t level so you can’t really aim right.
Heather M — Google review
I'm up in Cleethorpes quite often as I have family who own a caravan nearby and I always make sure to drop in for a trip on the line. Staff are friendly and polite, the maps and timetables are easy to read, the shops are well-stocked and from an enthusiast's perspective, the fleet is absolutely nothing to sniff at! All in all, the CCLR is a must-visit if you're spending any amount of time in Cleethorpes. Photos are from the 2025 steam festival.

Really enjoyed the ride takes about 5 minutes each way bug worth it and a good price

Parkway Cinema in Cleethorpes is a seafront complex with nine screens, offering the latest mainstream releases and live theatre at the Grimsby Auditorium. The cinema boasts state-of-the-art projection and sound, providing a wide variety of programs suitable for all ages and tastes. While some visitors mention limited snack options and high prices for drinks and snacks, they appreciate the helpful staff, cleanliness, and overall family-friendly atmosphere.
Film was great in 3d (Tron)! Snacks were lovely and the cinema is clean from the screens to the toilets. Sean and Paul are amazing and so friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re around.

Terrible prices. Not clean, even the screen was dirty. You could see all the dirty marks on screen while watching a film .. My boy even noticed it .. £50 spent in total . Would have been cheaper and better experience getting bus to hull and going to there better cinema experience!!!
Warren N — Google review
Nothing much it's a cinema with sky high prices, but when you want to see a film it's got to be. The good bit was we got to book the seats we wanted, and it wasn't very busy in our bit. Saw stitch don't remember the first one being so sad.

Nice and clean cinema. Only issue is that the seats could be more comfortable for the amount your paying for a ticket
Farrah — Google review
Popped in to see the latest Downton Abbey, prices are relatively good, the seats were a little old and worn in places but the picture was good and the floors were clean.
Adam S — Google review
Parkway Cinema Cleethorpes - A Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Upkeep My recent visit to Parkway Cinema Cleethorpes was unfortunately marred by a noticeable lack of attention to the venue's overall cleanliness and air quality. Upon entering the screen, a distinct fusty smell was immediately apparent, seemingly emanating from the upholstery of the seats. This, combined with what felt like very poor ventilation, made for an uncomfortable and somewhat stale atmosphere throughout the film. It's clear that the cinema is in dire need of a thorough industrial clean. Better ventilation systems, or at least a significant improvement to the current ones, would also go a long way in enhancing the audience's experience. While the core cinema experience of watching a film is there, these issues with the environment are significant enough to detract from what should be an enjoyable outing. I hope the management addresses these concerns soon, as a refreshed and clean environment would vastly improve the overall impression of Parkway Cinema.

I went to see an Easter 🐣 panto there over the bank holiday with work, and i thought the Alice in Wonderland performance was quite entertaining 😜. It's the first time I've seen a live show at the cinema 🎥 but I'd happily watch one again 😀 x

We absolutely love it at Cleethorpes just over an hour from home, the beach is spotlessly clean as is the promenade, Meggies Fish and Chip shop is the place to visit for your seaside chippy fix and then loads of 2p slots if the weather is crappy 😍

Cleethorpes beach is a hidden gem, has clean sands, plenty of space, and a really welcoming seaside feel. The mix of traditional charm with modern touches makes it perfect for both a peaceful walk and a family day out. Lots of sea side accommodation for guest. I enjoyed the old locomotive train ride from the beach, which is well priced. Always feels refreshing to visit!”

I really don’t rate this 😏 very disappointed with this beach has to be one of the worst beaches I’ve been too , was more of a muddy beach not really sandy and the actual sea was always far out ,by the time it comes in it’s late in the day no good . I think also not much to see here such a shame

Cleethorpes Beach in Grimsby is the perfect example of a classic British seaside escape. The wide stretch of golden sand invites long walks, and the sound of the waves creates a calm backdrop. Even on a day with a bracing North Sea breeze, the atmosphere is invigorating and full of character. The promenade is lively, with plenty of places to grab fish and chips or warm up with a hot drink. The area feels clean, welcoming, and full of local charm. Whether you’re there for a family outing, a romantic stroll, or simply to breathe in that fresh sea air, Cleethorpes offers a timeless coastal experience. It’s not just a beach — it’s a reminder of the simple joys of the seaside. I’d gladly return for another refreshing walk along the shore.

Weelsby Woods Country Park

Park
Weelsby Woods Country Park is a spacious natural park located at the boundary between Cleethorpes and Grimsby. It was once the grounds of a demolished manor house and now features mature woodlands, meadows, and tended lawns. The park boasts ornamental stone lions at its entrance and offers recreational activities such as football, rounders, and walking paths through the woods.
I only went to park see 'Wojtek' the famous WW2, smoking, drinking and dancing bear who helped to carry ammunition for the soldiers. But what I saw of the park I was very impressed. If I lived close by to the park, I know I would visit it on a regular basis. It looked clean and well cared for.

Lovely woodland walk, dog friendly, free parking, clean toliets, lovely cafe with fabulous ice cream.
Katie G — Google review
This is a peaceful location ideal for an evening walk and for taking your children to play. It features a play area for kids and walking paths. However, the ground can become muddy during rainy days, so I recommend wearing Wellington boots. There are also benches and tables available, making it a nice spot to sit and read a book. Additionally, there are plenty of parking options.
Prashanthan B — Google review
Lovely park for all the family. Spacious park and woods to walk your dogs with picnic benches to stop at. There's a dedicated park for kids to play on. Climbing frames and a small zip line The cafe is now open to stop for a coffee and refreshments. Dine in or take out. Fair amount of parking too.
Chris L — Google review
Large park with open grassy areas, trees, playground, cafe (very good) and woodland walks at the back. Busy at weekends but one of the best places for the dog or kids to let off steam! Lots of benches, picnic tables and bins and all very well maintained.
Mick T — Google review
It's a lovely place except not enough bins by far and because of stupid driving by the men emptying them , the bins got moved in response to complaints. It would have been better to make the driver follow the mph rule there and stick to the paths and not cut across the grass. , instead of punishing those who visit the place . The ice cream/ caffe is lovely the ice cream good and they do some sandwiches. And bits . They are not responsible for the toilets , yet are the ones that get the complaints . Our council has allot to answer for :/ Now folks are not picking up their litter or dog mess and the place is becoming very littered This in turn encourages antisocial behaviour . Very sad Also the idiots are back , leaving their litter , lighting fires and camping where there are no facilities . Also for the size of the place not enough toilets and the ones there the council do not repair . This leads to human fouling , quite horrid The other problem in this beautiful place is it's becoming overrun with giant hog weed . This gives nasty chemical type burns that take forever to heal .you think nettles are bad ..try that :/ I love the woods ..but it should not be down to volunteers to manage them . Yes help ..but the council needs to do it's part , more bins , better toilets and organise folks that really know what they are doing to manage the woods for all
Sue — Google review
A lovely place for a walk. Lots of friendly dogs (and dog walkers) to meet. Another visit. Very quiet, perfect to let the furry stretch his legs.
Alex D — Google review
Lovely woods. Now the cafe is open brings alot more people to the area with plenty of seating. A fantastic enclosed children's play area. For the elder kids and adults they have exercise machines and other equipment. Big green areas for playing football , rounders. Lots of picnic tables. A descent path walk all the way round if more adventure is wanted there are paths into the woods.

Staying at Cleethorpes for only one night whilst travelling through, this looked the best place to eat and it did not disappoint. The young man who served us went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with everything. The food was excellent, the best we had received during our trip. A very clean and presentable with a decor that had really had a lot of attention that complimented the atmosphere.

A truly atmospheric and unique place. Everything about this place creates its atmosphere from the very entrance. From the beautiful tablecloths to the wall décor and lamps. The food is excellent. The beef was cooked to perfection. The decor is pleasant, the service is attentive, and the food is delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

We visited Fez for my wifes' birthday on February 6th and it was our first visit in a few years and was good to discover that it's as good as it's been from the start. Food was gorgeous, whether it be a Tagine or brochettes (lots of chicken!), the mushrooms in cheese sauce starter was so tasty. A special mention for the chips and BBQ chicken pizza, hardly Moroccan but they were both among the nicest I've tried in a restaurant that wasn't a chippy or an Italian. Service was spot on, we weren't waiting too long for anything and our server was polite and friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The bill for 5 of us with starters and mains, several cokes and three beers was just over £150, so not bad at all. Overall, a very pleasant experience and we will be more regular with our visits in the future.
Mark H — Google review
First time visiting and i can't wait to be back. Service was great even tho i called last minute to add more people that at the end didn't come. Food is so delicious, but the dessert should be your starter. And special mention to Rof, he was amazing 🤩 thank you for making our friend's meet up so enjoyable.
Katy M — Google review
We first visited a year ago whilst on holiday and were excited to return again during our recent short break. Fez is just as excellent this year as last. Lovely setting, lighting, decoration and music all just right. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing, full of lovely veg cooked to perfection and the chicken so tender. Starters and deserts were lovely and the prices are so reasonable. If I had to find a fault, maybe a little too much salt in somethings for my taste but that's personal preference. This is an all round excellent restaurant and we look forward to returning next year as we usually manage a yearly visit to Cleethorpes.

From the moment we were seated, Brandon’s bright and bubbly character set the tone for what became a truly exceptional dining experience. Always smiling and effortlessly attentive, he ensured every detail was handled with the utmost care the kind of service that elevates a night out into something truly special. My 50-day-aged fillet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection tender, flavorful, and served exactly as I had hoped. What impressed me even more was Brandon’s professionalism and genuine care when it came to my partner’s meal. He noticed her dish needed to be re-fired due to her allergies and stepped in immediately, handling the situation discreetly and gracefully. Her meal was soon delivered perfectly prepared, and the extra attention made her feel as special as she deserves to feel. Taking my beautiful lady out for the evening, all I hoped for was an experience where she felt cared for and celebrated and thanks to Brandon, that’s exactly what we had. His attentiveness and charm brought warmth and laughter to the table, adding that personal touch you rarely find. Brandon is an absolute credit to the team, and we left feeling not only well-fed but truly looked after. We will be returning soon not just for the outstanding food, but for the service that made the evening unforgettable.

This is a small cafe with a couple of tables outside on the pavement front and probably about 8 tables inside(these were being cleaned in-between customers visits). There's good choice of drinks along with hot & cold food options on the menu which have very reasonable prices indeed. The staff on duty were very friendly & pleasant during my 1st time visit. Its a bit of a trek to use the toilet facilities as you have to go through the fire exit door at the rear & use a traffic cone to hold the door open so you can return back inside the cafe once you have used the toilet building located outside .

A small privately runCafe in the centre of cleethorpes. Did some really nice breakfast cobs for me and my family when we visited over Easter. They were good quality butchers sausages (full of flavour) and decent bacon too. The kids didn't leave anything to waste and that is always a good sign! We arrived late because of traffic but we called to let them know and they had everything ready for us and we were so grateful. My mum is gluten intolerant which they catered for so to be able to eat all the food without worrying about feeling poorly afterwards was so amazing for her. I so recommend this, the room was quiet and pleasant, the food delicious, and I thought the price was worth it.

Fabulous Shared seafood platter!!! One of the best we’ve had and we’ve had quite a few!!! Service was exactly what we like: fun, professional and respectfully cheeky - thank you so much!! Will definitely be back with our larger family!!! Great choice of food. Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Great value for money x see ya soon.

Beautiful little cosy spot, uncomplicated contemporary menu, great flavours, best in Cleethorpes by far. Liv & Leah looked after us well, but hats off to the chef who obviously has a lot of passion for this lovely eatery. We will be back.

Nature & Parks
Originally established in 1883, People's Park has undergone renovations that include the addition of two bowling greens and beautifully landscaped beds. Nestled within a residential area, this park offers convenient parking options for visitors. It is an idyllic spot for dog walkers, joggers, and individuals seeking relaxation through sitting or leisurely strolling. Children can enjoy a dedicated play area while public conveniences are centrally located near the lake and operate from 8 am to 8 pm.
"What a lovely place! Swans, ducks, a cosy coffee shop, and all the basic conveniences. There's no official cricket ground, but we often play cricket there and really enjoy it!"
Samiullah K — Google review
Been a while since I visited the park and I forgot how beautiful it is. It all looks very well kept apart from one large corner of the lake that could do with skimming all the floating debris off. Shame that the floral hall is all closed up now, hopefully something can be done with it in the future and bring it back to what it once was.
Mark H — Google review
Large spacious park, suitable for a walk, run, dog walk, taking the kids to play. It has a play area for ages 2 up, loads of grassed area to play sports, and have a pic nic. Cafe serving hot and cold food is next to the lake, and toilets were in the same building. Really nice place to spend a couple of hours.
Darren B — Google review
This is a beautiful park right in the centre of a residential area. There is ample parking around the park. Great for dog walkers, joggers, sitting, strolling. There is a dedicated play area for the kids here too. Public conveniences are in the centre, by the lake open from 8 til 8 in the evening. The lake has a couple of resident swans and ducks. There is an old bandstand here too that does get used from time to time for events There is a bowls club here too with a fantastic bowls green. Well worth a visit anytime of the year

What a fantastic place, children's playground, lake with swans and ducks and a nice coffee shop and conveniences too
Solo T — Google review
Lovely park, I went here daily whilst staying at my mum's to take the dog for a walk, nice little spot to walk around, big open field in middle, lovely water area with ducks and benches to sit on, there is a cafe and children's park also.
Jade K — Google review
What a beautiful park, such a surprise to find. Lovely tea rooms, lake, green spaces and park for the kids. Well kept.
DK G — Google review
Most of the area is clean, but it could use more rubbish bins since some people are snacking and occasionally throw their wrappers away. A "Don't Litter" sign may be useful.

Time 4 Play Grimsby Ltd is a small play center that's perfect for younger children. It offers a wide selection of reasonably priced food and has hosted many successful birthday parties. The venue also provides free on-site parking, making it convenient for visitors. Despite being busier than usual, the staff maintain good cleanliness and are polite to customers. The play area is well-maintained, with attentive staff ensuring surfaces are regularly cleaned.
This place is a hidden gem! Just moved here and wanted to check out my local soft play. I paid £4 each during school time with a free drink. Different play areas for ages and made for adapted to their needs. The whole place is full of vibrant colour, fun characters and different play activities. Food and drinks are affordable and with a great selection for child & parent. During the week they have fun children’s sessions of crafts, picnic and music. An overall amazing place for my children. Plus there’s a car park outside ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Horrible experience here took my neice (2) nephew(4) and step daughter(4). Someone’s child jumping on and pushing my neice went and told a staff member of staff they spoke to the parents and then the child was let off again. Continued to bully another child and then started kicking my neice. Mother was not bothered at all by the actions of her child. We decided to leave but reported it again to the same member of staff but nothing was done. Not a good experience at all. The place is lovely other children and parents not so much
Dana B — Google review
Turned up play could just go in no time slot needed. Don't see why should have to pay for adults too get in bit silly really. Asked for an apple to be peeled they brought it was peeled and chopped and stinking of onion obviously my child didn't want to eat it which I didn't blame him. Only went here as the cricketers is closed at the moment.
Kate J — Google review
The soft play is great but beware they have a dodgy parking firm using ANPR operating. If you don't register your car on entry you risk them issuing a large fine with draconian enforcement.

Heritage museum
History Museums
Step back in time and immerse yourself in the world of 1950s fishermen at the Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre. Housed in a modern building at Alexandra Dock, this interactive museum offers a glimpse into the tough yet fascinating life of trawler-men and their families. Explore authentic equipment and fixtures from old trawlers, learn about the challenges faced by fishermen, and discover how an entire town was involved in the fishing industry.
Grimsby Fishing Heritage Museum is well worth a visit if you happen to be in the area. This is no ordinary museum. Huge investment and careful planning is evident here, creating a memorable, engaging and inspiring experience. The museum includes sensory elements that immerse you in the experience, taking you through the history of fishing in Grimsby and bringing to life what the industry was like. There's easy parking on site and the staff are also superb. A tea room and cafe are also on site. Highly recommend seeking out a visit.
Dr S — Google review
We visited the museum and the ship in front of it. Thanks to the family ticket, it wasn't expensive. The guide on the ship had a lot to say, and the tour lasted an entertaining hour. The museum is beautifully designed, but without visiting the ship, you'd miss a lot. The idea of looking for a job at the entrance is nice and fitting. The many different rooms are entertaining and authentically designed. We weren't entirely sure whether the smells in the museum were intentional. We spent a total of just under three hours here and can recommend the place.
Michael K — Google review
We had an amazing time visiting the Ross Tiger with John! I definitely recommend the experience. The immersive museum for all ages was a wonderful discovery. Coming from Sheffield it was a good day trip
Kiara A — Google review
Loved it - it combined the old and the new well. The mocked up trawler and its various cabins was so well done, especially it's subtle movement as if at sea. Lots of activities for ALL ages. Very good value for money.

We came here as my fella told me he's never been before!! I couldn't believe it! Its such a lovely place to visit. So interesting learning about my home town. Its great value for money. You must also do the Ross Tiger tour. Very informative guides who have the experience of fishing. Nice and clean and very well looked after.
Rebecca B — Google review
We had a wonderful day out. Firstly a brilliant tour around the trawler followed by a delicious lunch in the museum, and then a great walk around the museum. It was good to hear about the plans for the future of the trawler, which would only enhance the experience.
Frances P — Google review
The Grimsby Fishing Heritage Museum is a modern Museum dedicated to the history of the grimsby fishing industry. In the main part of the building in a dock is a Fishing boat surrounded by shops and a pub with a 1950s theme. There is a lot to see with rooms showing life inside a trawler. For an extra charge there are tours of the ross tiger trawler moored in the dock next to the museum. It is quite a unique Museum and well worth visiting if you are in the area.
Andrew N — Google review
Extremely charming and enjoyable immersive exhibition for any age. Plus and the additional option of taking an accompanied tour of a rare Trawler, positioned just outside, which was an excellent way to experience and see the working and living conditions. Good cafe with GF options and lovely gift shop. Enjoyed it all.

Ample parking. And plenty of disabled parking bays. Good arrangements for people in wheelchairs, just tell them when you book .

First time visitor to see Adele tribute act. I found as a wheelchair user the location of seats for myself and companion just right. Easy to park outside go9d selection of drinks from cafe. Toilets easy to access. The show was good however the second half sound quality was far superior in fact if the first half had matched second I would have given 5 stars and an excellent. I would go again as easy to get to all set up to make your night memorable
Mike T — Google review
I had a great night there. It was a good show of "one night of Queen" I hope to have a look and see what else they have on. Plenty of free parking that's a big bonus. The seating could be better tho.
Andrew M — Google review
Went Saturday and watched the northern soul show, a throughly enjoyable performance shame it had to end well worth the trip, venue staff polite and friendly and helpful, toilets clean and excellent parking area, the only negative for the night were the drink prices £2.80 for a small bottle of cheap water.?? Yea fully understand you're at a performance but over £12 for a lager sandy and a cider..

Takeout Restaurant
If you're in Grimsby, you absolutely must check out HPK Express for a delightful takeaway experience. This gem is renowned for its mouthwatering pizzas and kebabs that are crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Many patrons rave about the generous toppings on their pizzas, which are freshly made daily to ensure perfect texture and taste. The chicken kebabs are also a hit, offering a juicy option for those looking to indulge without straying too far from healthy choices.
Best kebabs in Grimsby!! I ordered HPK Special Mixed Kebab, and it was very delicious. A portion is absolutely masive. I mean, you could feed a family of four with that 😄 Very nicely presented and freshly cooked. Highly recommend this place 👌 Good prices, especially for the size of the portion and quality.

Ray C — Google review
The food was horrendous, the garlic bread was that thin hard you couldn't bite it, the chips were like concrete, pizza was burnt and I was missing a kebab, will not be ordering for this restaurant again

Best place ever. Always exceeds my expectations. The pizza is amazing, the staff is very friendly and always welcomes us warmly. Always my first choice for a friday night/weekend meal. I highly recommend it.
Raquel S — Google review
HPK is honestly the best takeaway in Grimsby. The pizzas are unmatched - plenty of flavour, generous toppings, and the bases are incredible. Freshly made every day, and always the perfect consistency, texture and weight. If you're feeling a bit more on a health kick, the chicken kebabs are the way. Tasty, juicy, and cooked just right. You can tell everything’s made fresh and with care. Always friendly service too, and the food’s consistently great. Don't look further than HPK for your Friday night meal (or any night for that matter).

I am visiting Cleethorpes for the weekend and trusting the reviews decided to buy dinner from here. Reviews are correct as food was spot on. The special kebab, pizza and the complementary garlic bread was perfect. Even the sauces were not ready made but made at the restaurant. Staff is friendly and very welcoming. Definitely coming here when I visit again. 5 stars 🌟
Muhammad C — Google review
Ordered a kebab to share (£20) and food did not turn up for 2 hours. Delivery driver stated it was his fault as other customers had complained. Sent him on his way with a couple of quid too as it clearly was not his fault. Food was lukewarm and not the greatest. I’ll be sticking to my usual haunt from now on. Thought we’d give it a try due to all the rave reviews but sadly, on this occasion, the food did not live up to the hype.

Went on a recommendation from my sister. Did chicken Donner on the spit which seems hard to get now locally and usually means we stick to the same place. Lovely service from the moment I arrived. Lovely gentlemen and a smiling lady greeted and served immediately . Food was ready on time for collection and hot. The order was exactly correct and the food was lovely. Will use again. Maybe a new favourite as it topped our usual place. Very happy. Hopefully aways this good!

Very disappointed always used here for the last 4 months I have lived close by rang tonight and was spoken to extremely rudely and refused to order to me as apparently I left them a rude review that there was hair in my pizza and I have never had hair in the pizza and never had any bad reviews about them and I definitely wouldnt continue to order from them if I had hair in my pizza they clearly have mistaken me for someone else as I rang up to place my orders too very rude and unprofessional to speak to customers like that as I have never complained about them!!!

This amazing business recently helped to host our very first Silent Book Club! They have plenty of seating, with the main seating downstairs and 2 rooms upstairs, one of which is a family room. The room upstairs had plenty if books which you can help yourself to/swap for new reads and plenty of board games. It feels very rustic and quirky, with a great atmosphere. Everyone who came loved it, some people had been there before and some was their first time, eager to return. We're all so excited to have a monthly meeting at Riverhead Coffee, and I am so, so grateful for such a lovely place to enjoy reading and socialising. Definitely recommend visiting this spot! The staff are absolutely wonderful, couldn't do enough for you and are so friendly. 💜☺️

Yesterday (Sunday 9th March 2025) I visited Riverhead Coffee (Grimsby) for a coffee drink & something to eat. I wasn`t sure what to have however Tyler (Riverhead Coffee member of staff) was serving myself, in which he was on hand with their quick and creative thinking of what I should have, the only things I said was, I would like some salad & I hadn`t had breakfast. Tyler thought of what they have in which they made this lovely creation which was: roasted sweet, tomato salsa, avocado with salad and home made potato salad. The creation was a lovely surprise in which I wasn`t expecting, it was nice, refreshing with everything coming together perfectly. Tyler`s customer service wasn`t anything short than expectational, with him taking the time to care, understand and do the very best to serve customers. Whilst I was there I first hand saw him take to his own helping and being understanding of others, in my option the team are very lucky to have someone as amazing as they are. I would highly recommend Riverhead Coffee to all. Samantha Brown

The staff were very rude and the food wasn't very nice. A bacon and sausage bun for £3.50 with only 1 of each meat and the jacket potato was raw. Waited over 25 minutes for disappointing food and an unpleasant and unwelcoming atmosphere the whole time. I would not visit again and would not recommend to another. Many other nice cafes and burger vans in the area. Truly scrumptious is the worst!

Always a friendly greeting and great customer service even when they are really busy. The prices have been creeping up lately but still the best value for money in the area. It opens at 7am almost every day of the year and is teeming with wildlife. The lake offers opportunities for fishing and boating, while there's also a designated area for dogs to swim.

Nice tranquil park that is generally not overly busy. Would be nice if the dog walkers picked up more of their dog’s mess instead of leaving it either on the path or trails. Same for putting it in a bag then tossing it away

Blundell Park, the home ground of Grimsby Town FC since 1898, boasts a capacity of 10,000 and various function spaces. This delightful stadium features a meticulously maintained pitch equipped with sprinklers. A sufficient number of stewards are always present to provide support, while the majority of facilities are satisfactory. However, due to its age, certain areas within the stadium exhibit signs of wear and tear.
A vintage traditional football stadium boasting the oldest Main stand in the EFL. All areas under cover. Cracking atmosphere with passionate fans. Great bars for home and away supporters. There is a fan zone that is open before the match and at half time, serving local beer from Dovks Beer. Good selection of food in the ground. On street parking and good bus service from Grimsby and Cleethorpes railway stations. A good selection of pubs within 10 minutes walking distance of the ground, that accept away fans. Plenty of affordable bed and breakfasts in Cleethorpes if you need to stop over.

Visited the shop whilst on a weeks holiday. The lady was fantastic and so welcoming. Thank you and made my holiday. Loved the stadium and the warm welcome.
Jamie W — Google review
A good old fashioned football league ground with lots of character. I visited with my two sons (6 and 10) over Easter for the Swindon fixture. Stewards and staff were really helpful and efficient in and around the ground. Only minor grumble, ordered tickets for the mainstand for 3 seats together, avoid seat N88 if you can. It's a restricted view of not just one but both goals! (See photos). Luckily there was a group of seats vacant closer to the away end so upped and moved without any problems for a better view!
David T — Google review
Great ground for the level that Grimsby are at. As a premier league club supporter, its hard to give praise without sounding condescending. But the club is in the middle of its community and as an away fan I felt they looked after us with friendly stewarding, a decent bar and the food was better than at a lot of Premier League grounds! Won't bang on about the result (The less said, the better!) But congratulations and well deserved. Honourable mention to the dirty fries for £7.50. Absolutely amazing!

Great stadium, good beer outlets, friendly locals, but really cold! I mean, really cold! It was a fun ground to go to, but take a hat.

The Home of the Mighty Mariners. The atmosphere is always great. Plenty of good food choices in each stand and woth the new owners it is always improving.

What more can I say. We took the grandchildren to watch the GTFC V Shrewsbury match. A great game at a proper ground, that we will all remember, even if they did have to listen to grandads 40 year old stories🤣. Shan't get to Man U match but we'll be back for other games and as we live South of Peterborough, we'll get to some away matches as well.

Nice ground, all seating and all.under cover, views can be restricted by metal beams supporting the roofs, good bar area in away end, pitch was in great condition after a lot of rain and it was December. Well worth a visit

Located in Grimsby, the Caxton Theatre is home to the Caxton Players Society, which has been entertaining audiences since the 1940s. The theater boasts an auditorium with seating for nearly 200 people and hosts a variety of performances. Visitors have praised the reasonable prices at the bar and enjoyed productions like 'Double Top' and 'The Railway Children.' The cozy atmosphere and well-maintained facilities make for an enjoyable experience, with friendly staff adding to the welcoming ambiance.

Caxton theatre is a hidden gem in Grimsby and worth a visit for anyone who is looking for something different to do beyond the stereotypical pub/bar nights in Grimsby. That being said, they do get brownie points for having a bar on site, I appreciate anywhere I can get a glass of wine from.

Exceptional show tonight. Well done, cast. Really gave me insight into the struggles. Love coming and being exposed to great team work & building a great show
Rebecca B — Google review
Seen a few shows here recently and all were so well done. You can really tell that everyone involved pours their heart and soul into the production. There are so many positives - community values, reasonable and accessible prices and lovely atmosphere to name a few. It’s a small local theatre so don’t expect fancy changing scenery and technology, but with the facilities the various crew and cast manage to immerse you in a different world for a couple of hours. The seats are a bit tight but you also come to expect that in older theatres. 🎭
Sarah — Google review
Having never been before, I had absolutely no idea what I was walking into. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Firstly, I was impressed with the prices at the bar. Once I'd ordered, I took a deep breath and waited for the price... I needn't have worried, very reasonable. Then, walking into the theatre itself, to find a compact but quaint room. The lights went down, curtains opened, and we were transported to 1970 Britain. The production was The Railway Children. For such a compact stage, the actors did such a fantastic job. The cast didn't miss a line and delighted the audience with their adaptation of this classic. All I can say is "thank you, Caxton Theatre" it won't be long before I return.
John C — Google review
A sell out for A Christmas Carol 6th December 2019 and the entire week. Very funny and entertaining, and great acting for amateurs, you would think on seeing any production here that they were professionals, a great night for the price of a ticket, which is very reasonable x

Yardbirds Rock Club in Grimsby has been a fantastic place for me to spend countless memorable nights. The club's atmosphere is electric, and the music is always top-notch, making it a must-visit for any rock music enthusiast. One of the standout features is the reasonable pricing for gigs, ensuring that you get an incredible value for your entertainment. However, it's essential to mention that the club is situated in a relatively rough area. While the experience inside is fantastic, it's wise to be cautious when leaving late at night. Taking appropriate safety measures and arranging transportation in advance can help ensure your visit remains enjoyable from start to finish.

Fantastic venue, we attended The Brew Christmas gig and had a great evening. Massive investment since our last visit over 6 years ago, just wish we lived closer and not a 100 miles away. The bar staff were friendly and if you love live music, I can highly recommended it.

The yardbirds rock club is an excellent venue for live music. It has been much enlarged and improved since we first visited a few years ago. There is an excellent stage, with good views in front or from the raised balcony, further back. There is a nice long bar, and the service is good with an excellent range of beers, larger, and cider. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The club gets really excellent live acts. There is an outside seating area behind the club. Highly recommended.

I can’t comment on food but I will say I had one of the funnest nights here that I’ve had in a long time! We laughed, we danced and may have over indulged a little on the tequila. First time review for this cafe, and I'm happy to return. Food was prepared fresh and hot. If you want something different to the menu, They are happy to modify if they can. Staff are friendly and chatty. They also have delivery service on, Just eat. The parking is a little difficult as roadside only.

Ordered breakfast for delivery. My black pudding burnt, 2 out of the 3 pieces of bacon was also burnt, the food is un edible to me. They also forgot my drink and when I called them about it I was told that it would be taken of the next time ordered! which is un acceptable as the drink was paid for and she said there was nothing else she could do about it. This for me is not good customer service And quite unacceptable! and they have lost a good customer! but on the bright side they have earned this lovely review and the pictures to back this up.

First time trying this cafe. Felt like it's over-advertised doing the leaflets. They dont seem capable to serve to the demand. I saw pictures on the leaflet plus online and was expecting a much better service. The environment was extremely noisy to the point where we couldn't talk to each other as we couldn't hear each other at all at times. Person serving nearly dropped our plates in my face as she was walking way too fast towards us. Understandably, it was very busy, but again, that just shows they can't match a demand. Our food was just warm, not hot at all, and it felt like it was standing waiting to be served. Unfortunately, i do not think i will be coming back. There is a lot to learn im afraid.

Bar & grill
I have visited The Grosvenor bar & grill multiple times in recent months and it has consistently impressed me. The food is always delightful and arrives promptly, even when serving a large group of people. The staff is friendly and readily available for any assistance needed. The drinks are both enjoyable and affordable. Although there was a slight delay in the food being served due to high demand, the quality was still satisfactory.
Three of us popped in for lunch to try the new Sizzling Pub menu. I had the 11oz Pork Tomahawk and it was wonderful and a great addition the menu. The chop had been barbecued perfectly, the bone blackened but the meat really tender and succulent. The pub does warn you that this particular dish takes 30 mins but well worth the wait.
Franklin O — Google review
Was quiet busy so expected a little wait. Waited 10 mins for drinks and about 25/30 mins before food arrived after ordering on the app... Food was nice, felt like the fish had been stood under the lights a little while but other than that was ok. Will try again soon 😃

Lois W — Google review
Went for a meal on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered the chicken sizziler with rice and garlic bread. When food came the food was not even sizzling, the vegetables looked like they had been soaked in water and the chicken was literally a slither of a fillet. The garlic bread was cold and cheese was not even melted properly. I complained about the garlic bread which was taken away and clearly just shoved back under grill again. I tried ordering drinks via app but would not let me add a dash of lemonade to my drink, i asked one of the staff to assist and was told to go to bar its easier. Needless to say I will not be returning .

Great value for money. Setting up a tab wasn't a problem, then we ordered at the bar. All food was served in a timely manner Starters 3 for 10 quid were very well cooked, we especially enjoyed the breaded halloumi fries, just a bit different to elsewhere. Mains, the Steak and Doom bar Pie was excellent, and pleasing to see freshly cooked peas unlike our local Flaming Grill. The Mega Mixed Grill was very good, outstanding with the Steak cooked to perfection, my only caveat was the rather inferior quality of the sausages, but they were properly grilled, lovely crispy sweet potato fries. I do love a Sundae, the milky bar one here is super. Many many thanks to the Kitchen team for memorably excellent food quality. Highly Recommended, much better value and better cooking than last time in went to a Miller and Carter.
A U — Google review
Had the best mixed grill that I've had for ages, the only thing missing was eggs! Steak cooked perfectly (rare). Wife and son very happy with their scampi and hunter's chicken. The only criticism my wife and son had, was that they wouldn't have known they were eating lemon meringue if it hadn't been in the ingredients list.

Me and my husband went on Wednesday afternoon session. We paid for tickets and sat down where we wanted. We ordered food and had a voucher to get a free drink or dessert with a main meal. Husband chose the main and got the pudding server said she couldnt deal with vouchers and shouted over to a colleague loudly I asked for my food without the greaseproof paper on the plate (previously had issue with this when last went) the server said she didn't like cleaning the cheese off the plate that's why they're on there. Last time I complained about the greaseproof paper, didn't expect to be eating off a plate with that under the food I had paid for. They told me it was policy to use it but could ask for it without next time. If it's policy then why could I ask for it without next time? Anyway, my food was nice my husbands food was dry and bland. We missed the first ticket play as it wasn't same ticket name on the board as what we had then someone else asked if it had been played yet and the caller said he had missed it, and so had we. We played the first half of the main game paper book, then left in the interval. We was very disappointed and overall waste of time going. Won't be back in a hurry.

Absolutely SHOCKING. Would be giving 0 stars if I could. After having to complain about 2 staff members, John & “Mrs T” SCREAMING across the hall at one another in the middle of a bingo game causing us to miss numbers and not have a fair chance at the game, after my complaint we decided to give it another go after a couple of months and was completely baffled at the unprofessionalism. “Mrs T” clearly proving that she hasn’t taken a word in from our complaint and at 50+ years old decides to whisper making the little group of staff members gathered around her turn around and stare. Professionalism has never been a strong point for most of the staff here. Minus a couple of lovely ones, you feel like you’re walking in to a clicky school playground. Massively gone down hill since it was taken over by Buzz. The unprofessional behaviour certain staff members exhibit is disgraceful and unfortunately overshadows the good work and friendly service that some of the other employees provide. After reading more reviews it’s clear to see this is not the first time something like this has happened and that certain staff members clearly make a habit out of providing an unprofessional service to paying customers.

Museum
The Ross Tiger, the oldest surviving sidewinder trawler in Grimsby, is docked at Alexandra Dock near the Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre. It was part of the world's largest commercial fishing fleet when it entered service in 1957. The ship stands as a symbol of the bravery of Grimsby's fishers during the mid-20th century and serves as a memorial to those who lost their lives while on duty.
The Ross Tiger, that museum ship in Grimsby? It's the UK's last surviving middle-water side trawler. It shows how fishing advanced in Grimsby and how brave those British trawlermen were.

The tour of the Ross Tiger must not be missed! Our tour guide Bob was very informative, characterful, engaging, and insightful. The vessel itself is an incredible example of a bygone era and generations of industry and culture. It would be incredible to see the decks restored to contemporaneous wood. Don't miss out. Visit, take the tour, and learn about what life was like for generations of working people in Grimsby!

We visited the Grimsby fishermen’s heritage museum mid April 2023 it’s a museum about the way of life for trawler men in Grimsby , it is extremely well presented. There is also a very nice coffee shop. I would recommend a visit to the museum. But following on from the museum a guided tour of the side trawler the Ross Tiger and a tour not to be missed, the guide was (Bob I believe)an ex skipper of trawlers and extremely informative with explanations of how a trawler operated , and his stories of some of his experiences .An outstanding experience if you get the opportunity do visit it’s well worth the time. I would like to think that as part of Grimsby’s heritage the Council will help with the upkeep of this fascinating part of Grimsby’s history for generations to come. 2•5 Hours spent and worth every second.

From a large fishing family and had a brother who sailed aboard the Ross Tiger so finally went on the tour.absolutely fascinating. Ex Skipper gave a fascinating account of what it was like for the fishermen on a daily basis. Should have done this tour years ago. And to find that he knew at least 2 of my 4 brothers who fished was a bonus. Would highly recommend this.

I sailed on the Ross Tiger many years ago now. She is a loverly ship . Back in the early 70s we had some great catches back then and the crew got on great with each other most of the time. If you have never been on the Ross Tiger it well worth the visit . The council was given this ship for only £1 as far as I am aware. Like someone eles as said the ship is starting to sink . We already lost the Lincoln castle steam ferry ⛴️ a few years ago that was a desirable ferry boat and was sold for scrap. If the council don't start to repair the Ross Tiger then this ship will end up in a scrap heap . . We know it will cost alot to fix her up . But for how long it's been owned by the council I don't think they have ever spent a penny on her . What a disgrace. Do you people want to see her scraped. I know I do not .

This once proud vessel is now sinking into the mud due to council incompetence, she has a rich history of fishing and used as a spy ship during the cold War but now is left to rot away outside of the fishing heritage centre. This fine vessel will be sold as scrap if nothing is done soon.

As you wander through narrow corridors and explore mysterious nooks and crannies, you'll uncover captivating historical exhibits in the prisoner cells. The museum provides an engaging experience for both locals and visitors, offering a fun and informative exploration of Grimsby's past.
This was great little find. Small but packed with exhibits and information throughout the history of Grimsby. Just one suggestion, some of the information was displayed on a black background and not very well lit so made it hard for us to read. Would highly recommend a visit.

Unfortunately we didnt get to see the museum because the site is card payment only, and I refuse to use any business that is card payment only, cash is legal tender and should not be refused in any site regardless of the reasons. CASH IS KING.

Very good experience, loads of things to see and very educational, they have a quiz sheet which helps you as you go along your Watford both adults and children. Worth the visit , although not pushchair or wheelchair friendly, staff was very informative and didnt charge for my mother who had mobility issues .. she managed the steady walk round but she isnt fully needing a walker to mobilise ..the whole family had fun and the price for entry is cheap enough too. I've loads of pictures but limited what ive posted as dont want to spoil the experience.

This place I not open on the weekend although it's for tourists?, so we decided to visit today (Friday), find a parking spot, short walk to the museum with my disabled wife, and there is a notice saying closed sorry for any inconvenience, won't be going back as I am not wasting my time or money on fuel again to find it closed.

Italian restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a taste of Italy in Grimsby, look no further than Da Vinci. This charming restaurant is perfectly situated in the town's heart and specializes in authentic Italian cuisine that will transport your taste buds straight to Italy. One standout dish is their Stromboli pizza, topped with double pepperoni sausages, mozzarella, and a sprinkle of oregano—it's a must-try for any pizza lover!
Went here last night while they did the 'kids eat free midweek May'. It's my son's birthday this weekend so came for an early birthday meal. when we sat down at our table the members of staff were very friendly and approachable. Gave the kids some colouring crayons and an activity sheet for them to do. When looking at the menu there was so much choice on what to have which is good and for me means when I come back I can try something different. The prices are decent and affordable which is good when needing to keep an eye on the bank. The food came out at a nice pace and was absolutely yummy and filling. The kids enjoyed their meals. All members of staff are very welcoming and made the experience enjoyable. This place will definitely become our regular as already planning on coming here next month for my birthday.

The waitresses were all lovely. The starters were all tasty. My main was ok but lacked flavour and I'm pretty sure my chicken was turkey. It was thick slices and the grain was bigger than chicken. Was quite an expensive evening with the house wine at £21 a bottle, although it was a good wine. The atmosphere was good but we were a large party so not sure what it would be like as a party of 2.

A little gem of a place. Looking for somewhere different from pub grub and takeaways this place popped up on a Google search. Friendly attentive staff, comfortable seating and a good menu. One Moules Mariniere, followed by Risotto da Vinci for my fellow diner, one Chicken Provencale and Penne di Pollo Pesto later we were very happy diners. Freshly prepared, served nice and hot and the tastiest Mediterranean food I have had for a very long time. Only a 5- 10 minute walk from the train station and bus stops. Trains from Barton upon Humber take you to Grimsby Town station, definitely worth the trip.

The food was so tasty, a Smokey cloud from the oven added to the ambiance. This place has such a good reputation and is always busy whenever we have been. Friendly staff getting into the Christmas spirit with music and costumes. Great food at good prices x

Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the food because I was so absorbed in eating 😅 Really enjoyed our visit here last night. Good food, nice wine. There was a small hiccup with a meal coming out late but no star lost because the staff were so courteous about it. Hoping to visit again soon :-)

Very friendly, almost family experience. In credible dishes. Chef/owner seemed very happy and enjoyed his work. I had lamb dijon which was tender and rich. Ask for some hot brioche bread to soak up the amazing gravy. Book ahead to make sure you don't miss out. Would book again so I can work my way through the menu lol.

Open late on Sundays, they deliver delicious meals quickly, making it perfect for those late-night cravings. Absolutely banging takeaway! Ordered twice now an oh my god best takeaway in grimsby!!! So delicious! Salad tasty and fresh! Excuse the missing tomatoes in my photo as I gave them to my partner lol but Absolutely beautiful food my partner loves the kebabs definitely recommend and our new favourite and go to!!!

Absolutely disgusting service!!!! Was waiting an hour and a half so my partner called to ask where the food was. The guy on the phone accused us of lying saying the food had already been delivered and that we were "hungry wanting more food" and that a blonde woman had answered the door and taken the food, which was all a lie. Disgusting customer service, he soon changed his tone when I started speaking and eventually said he would send the food out. Never ordering from here again and have told all friends and family to avoid!!!!
Jamie F — Google review
Okay, so we had both take out for lunch and because we liked it so much we came back for dinner as well. The best thing is the kebabs are roasted on the spot and the meat is fresh. This will understandably take a bit of time but not so much that yoi are waiting eons. Food is easy on the stomach and spices are amazing. Pizza absolutely superb! Staff super friendly and courteous! 100% recommend!

We ordered Rogan Josh and a triple burger, had a bit of a wait but was worth it for the quality and freshness of the food. The curry was the best ive had in a long time, the burgers are hand made, juicy and taste great. Will definitely be back. Very good prices too.

Ordered a Daal Curry with Naan bread yesterday. Service was great, but I've never seen such a watery Daal Curry in my life. It all went into the bin. I would have took it back and demanded my money back, but lucky for them I had better things to do. Absolutely Disgusting! Will never go again..

If you find yourself at Docks Beers in Grimsby, make sure to swing by the Mockingbird Street Food hut for a delightful culinary experience. This vibrant spot offers an enticing selection of succulent chicken dishes and flavorful vegan options, complemented by a variety of topped fries and tots that won't break the bank. After enjoying some local talent during BBC Introducing Live, I couldn't resist trying their poutine fries—an absolute treat!
We came from Belgium to taste this beer/food. It's almost 900km. We were not disappointed. Only one regret: not to be staying longer. We took a good resolution: we will come to Grimsby once a year!! It's a deal! Thank you mates ❤️

Serving stale buns. Buns don't crumble like this unless they are stale. As soon as you touch it, it's in bits. And it tastes dry. Chicken is too big for the crumbling bun or to get in your mouth. If you make food, make it edible and not just for insta pictures please. The slaw was generic and nice but defo not wow or even standout. Sweet and sticky chicken wings weren't either. They were lovely and crispy but squeezing some honey on hot wings it'll fall off. This dish is crispy wings with honey at the bottom of the plate Chips. Nice. Didn't seem to be seasoned other than lots of salt which was fine. We'd come off a freezing long walk so we're soooo hungry we ate everything and couldn't be bothered to get replacements (if you're serving stale buns then you don't have fresh; I'm not here to tell you what happens when honey hits hot wings) Made for Instagram not eating.

Ordered through Deliveroo. We ordered the Mac & cheese, poutine and a loaded fries. First of all it was an hour late, secondly, the food was cold when it arrived, and the mac and cheese was missing the cheese. It was just pasta. If you read the description on the website, it states a rich and creamy vegan cheese sauce. Disappointed is an understatement. Never again. Absolutely disgusting.

Nice street food. We had one of the "proper" chicken and one of the alternative vegetarian "mock chicken" dishes with fries. Both were very nice and went down well with our Docks Beers.
Steve F — Google review
Nice food was quiet when we visited, great service and really liked the biscoffee chicken wings 😋😋
Tom K — Google review
I love the food from here ! I can honestly say that the seasoned fries with jerk seasoning are the BEST fries I've ever had. Most takeaway fries aren't very pleasant when you have them delivered but these remain delicious. Crispy on the outside , fluffy on the inside and perfectly seasoned with the jerk having just the right amount of kick to it. The chicken tenders are exactly that - juicy and tender. I'm in love with the Reaper sauce. And that coleslaw is so, so good - so creamy and tasty. The delivery staff are always really friendly and upbeat too. I'm not vegan and haven't tried the mock chicken tenders or vegan options, but the sauces , sides and coleslaw are all vegan and are delicious. I want to know the secret to the beautiful creamy coleslaw!

Caspers Pizza Restaurant has recently undergone a transformation under new management, and it’s definitely worth a visit! This charming eatery is dedicated to serving up authentic pizza crafted in the traditional Neapolitan style. With an emphasis on quality ingredients, they use real Italian tomatoes, flour, and sea salt alongside local cheeses and meats to create mouthwatering dishes.
It's half price on a wed for couple of weeks.and believe me the portions are bloody huge.food is lovely.servers on point.standsrds very high.definately be going back half price or not

A 2 hour wait even though it was estimated at 35 minutes. On phoning to request an update was dealt with by a very rude female member of staff. She made it much worse, no sign of an apology or understanding. When the food finally arrived (cold) the pizza boxes were crushed and the toppings stuck to the lids. The chips were wet and soggy. So summing up - a two hour wait for inedible food which went in the bin. Order at your own peril!!
Jonathan G — Google review
While the food was indeed delicious and served piping hot, I must express my disappointment with the significant increase in prices within just two weeks. Our previous visit, which included two pizzas, a garlic bread with cheese, and two drinks, cost us around £24. However, during our most recent visit, the same order amounted to a hefty £37. I'm uncertain whether this discrepancy was due to an error in inputting the prices or an actual hike in menu prices. Regardless, the perceived expense does not align with the value we received for our meal.
Charley B — Google review
Such a shame as this used to be a great cheap and cheerful place to eat. It's recently been taken over by new management and it shows. The meals have gone up ridiculously high and the specials don't allow you to choose as many as you could before. And the pizzas we had were soggy and limp. Massive disappointment and won't be returning.
Nicola M — Google review
Absolute joke Waited for up to two hours for the food to arrive at our house and by the time it came, it really didn't feel worth the wait. 2 hours for a pizza, two portions of chips and a donner kebab wrap WITHOUT a free garlic bread that usually comes free anyway! Not even to make up for the wait! I'm not one to complain about restaurants, as I've worked in the hospitality industry myself and I know how hard it can be, but I've never had to wait or make someone wait that long for something so little before. If you want decent food quickly, I would not recommend.
Ryan C — Google review
I had the meat lovers calzone, absolutely sensational. My work mate had the king kong burger and said it was far too tasty for a work meal. The new owners have certainly turned it around back to its former glory.

Distgusting service. Food ordered around 6.30pm, 2 kebabs and one or two sides. 9.45pm food finally arrives following a call to the restaurant at 8.30pm and advised food was only just being prepared. If you're too busy for the order then don't accept the order. I could've spent that money somewhere that respects their customers. Food arrived cold, kebabs dry, chips sweaty, sides lukewarm. No apology, no effort to contact us. I remember this restaurant was one of the best in town years ago. Not any more. Disgraceful. No respect for customers or apparebtly for themselves.

There is an extensive range of beers, larger and cider, with a wide range of craft beers. The staff are very friendly and obliging, offering me a taster of a beer i was unsure of. Visited twice during my holiday at Cleethorpes. Loved the open view on the brewery and on sunday even able to take a closer look. Interesting for a Homebrewer to see how the kit setup was. Had a couple of good chats about the beers, used ingrediënts, colabs and upcoming events. For that last, on wednesday I've seen that it looks promising with the new tap coolers. Enjoyed the unique smooth cask ales and the juicy neipa's from keg. Bought some cans for home and merchandise. The sticker is on the extractor hood of my homebrewery among other visited breweries, thnx!😎

We had visited the Museum so wanted some where to try local ales. Excellent choice. My husband had the IPA 101 and managed two pints! We tried the catering van. I had the vegan wrap as I can’t have dairy. It was excellent . Loved the toasted wrap. My husband had the burger which as you can see is massive. If you visit by car go in Tesco’s just up the road to park! We don’t live locally sadly. Otherwise it would be our local!!

Brewery Tour. We had the pleasure of taking part in a fantastic brewery tour on Sunday. To say the tour was generous in time and tastings would be an understatement - the talk was informative and we were given a fantastic array of beers to try. Lewis is a great brewer and did a great job of showing and explaining the process and varieties of beer. All staff were really attentive. We also had some excellent food from the regular food stall outside (brisket loaded fries) which was delicious. All in all, if you like your beer, this place is a must visit.

Top place to go with really good clean IPAs. The staff are brilliant and very friendly. We're from out the area and they were very nice and recommended drinks to us which were all nice. They even had some Brewdog collaborations. You can see where beer is made/ brewed here too which is very interesting. Ben top guy with great recommendations. Actually one of the cleanest places I've ever been to ever. The lady with pink in her hair was cleaning and I mean literally everything in there, no exaggeration, to an amazing level. Lovely Christmas decorations too since we visited in December. I would definitely visit here when back in Grimsby in future!

Grimsby Minster, also known as the Church of St James, has been a significant Christian place of worship in Grimsby since 1586. The building itself dates back even further, with origins before the 12th century. It underwent Victorian restoration in 1856, which included rebuilding the south transept and extending the chancel. Visitors have praised the minster for its beautiful setting and reasonably priced afternoon tea and lunch options.
Beautiful place with a lovely little cafe inside and a awesome Christmas market too.

We laid flowers today at the statue tribute to fishermen that sadly got lost at sea today. We couldn't have our service in the minster because of the sad demise of our Queen Elizabeth. We had a rehearsal last week in the minster and our service should have been at 4pm . But some of us ex fishermen and fisherfolk and church folk "father Chris from the minster, our Supt Suesan Brown and local MP for Grimsby whom laid a wreath attended. Father Chris and Suesan said prayers to end the flower laying. It was a solemn occasion but we all enjoyed it and the weather was lovely as well. Not quite the same as being in our beautiful minster but hey ho needs must. We all enjoyed it just the same. Hope you like this review with a difference. Cyril.

Alfred Enderby is a traditional smokehouse located on Grimsby Docks, with a history spanning over 100 years and two generations of the Enderby family. Their traditional smoking methods have gained international recognition, particularly for their Grimsby Traditional Smoked Haddock. Customers praise the exceptional quality of their smoked salmon and haddock, emphasizing the freshness and exquisite taste.
I visited Grimsby for work. I stumbled upon their smokers in the old docks. There is a reason they are here over 100 years since setting up, it is called quality, pride and delicious. I urge anyone to support these artisans. Fair, honest and purveyor of the finest in the world, let alone England. They showed me the smoke house, the product and the people. ALL worthy of your custom. The salmon melted in my mouth, the smoked Haddock was sumptuous in my fish pie. Forget artifical equivalents, this is the real deal. What a pleasure to be welcomed in.

Had a tour here on a Grimsby docks open day, the gentlemen that took us round was soooooooo passionate about what he does and the product he produces. He’s a real credit to the industry.

Lovely old smokehouse, 100+years. Very friendly and informative staff. Fish looks amazing, cannot wait to have it later. Note: steep concrete steps to shop , has sturdy handrail. My mother made it , just advising.

Each time I go to the east coast I HAVE to go here for their smoked Haddock which is subtly flavoured and amazing. Also their smoked salmon is out of this world. I just heat it through and serve with crushed new potatoes and wilted spinach with a little buerre noisette. As a chef it's the best I've ever tasted. Thanks to a company that's been doing things properly for generations.

We are regular buyers of Enderby`s smoked haddock, which I`m eating as I type...Its excellent...However last week we tried, for the first time, their smoked salmon portions.....Truely food of the Gods. Never mind Dover Sole or even Turbot....This beats it by a country mile..

Fabulous place. Great decor, loads of comfortable seating. It was a really warm welcome, although we said we were drinks only. Smells from the kitchen made sure we would visit again. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Two menus lunch and evening look really good. Nice atmosphere. Great decor and lighting. Thank you.

Staff members Kai and Gracie were absolutely fantastic. They handled everything incredibly well during our visit, flawlessly rectifying an issue with my burger, and were amazingly kind. Drinks were insane. Thank you for such an amazing visit xx

Lovely staff and food. Was very nervous at first but the staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Drinks menu (including cocktails) was insane I will admit. They had some drinks on there that I did not expect but appreciated. Cocktails were very unique, my partner was infatuated with the choices. Food menu was great, not too much but not too little. They didn't try and have everything but it felt like they had just enough. My burger was perfect and the handmade chips are the best I've had. My partner had the creamy lemon chicken and it was to die for. 100% recommend, their opening times are very good if you want to pop after work.

What a brilliant place. The food was wonderful, and we found out there was a quiz later that day so we came back again and it was great fun. The staff are amazing - Kai, Lily, Gracie and Lennon are all excellent, with great customer service skills. Even though we live in the midlands, we're going to try to come back and visit again when we can. Highly recommend!

A cocktail bar is only as good as its staff and on Sunday had Kaj as our server making us fantastic cocktails and was a great all round server very knowledgeable. Large range of cocktails and very good limited edition list, we tried a few! (Harry Potter themed cocktails right now) Would highy recommend this place to anyone wanting something with a bit of class in the grimsby area

I had a fantastic experience — the assistant manager Kaj was outstanding! He wished me a happy birthday and made me feel truly welcomed. His service was second to none: professional, friendly, and attentive throughout. The food was also top quality, which made the entire visit even more enjoyable. I would definitely return again. Highly recommended.

Was served Diane sauce instead of peppercorn. Found out after id tipped it on my meal myself and my partner both tried it and could taste the mushroom. The staff twice tried to say it was peppercorn, after a conversation I was brought out a different sauce that was clearly peppercorn and not what I had earlier, I was called a liar by the staff, had my entire evening ruined, absolutely bang out of order horrendous service. Spent hundreds here in the past so I think id know if id of had the correct sauce. Also seen the waitress carry through shots to the kitchen multiple times so the chef was probably drunk, if you make a mistake you take accountability and own up to it you dont then insult the customers and call them liars any muppet can tell a siane sauce from peppercorn..horrific way to treat a paying customer won't be coming back!

Fast food restaurant
Burger King, the iconic fast-food chain famous for its flame-grilled burgers, fries, and shakes, has made a significant mark since it first opened in Britain back in 1977. However, it wasn't until December 1998 that Grimsby residents could indulge in this culinary delight right on their doorstep. The opening at the Little Chef site on the A180 was a momentous occasion celebrated by local patrons.
What a lovely guy Dom is! We struggled to use the kiosk and he was super happy to help us out! Showed us how to use the app and claim offers! Great guy! Thank you

DISGUSTING ATTITUDE on the desk, dark haired girl 5 mins ago if you want to time stamp. Finger full of mayo on the royale, Handful of fries, not salted as requested, looked at me like I was out of order and questioned me for asking her how much she was charging me before I scanned my card… DISGUSTING

Went there recently. Stuff was very rude. Attempted to take the Mickey out of my disabled wife. The burger which we had to wait sometime for was squashed and looked pathetic. I will not be returning there. I strongly suggest that you don't go there either. Service rubbish food rubbish prices expensive. There are better places to go

During my travels, this is the only fast food outlet in the world I have ever been to that doesn't sell coffee!!! When I asked for a coffee, I was informed that they don't sell coffee. When I asked why not, "because we don't have a coffee machine". Fair answer, I guess, but not good for business. No wonder Burger King is closing branches.

Another fast food review. Here I found the floor was dirty and food full around one tables. Many table tops hadn't been cleaned so hard to find a clean table. The staff wasn't so busy as only a couple of customers seated. But staff just stood behind the counter. Not one person came to the floor to clean floor or tables all the time I sat there. Then it starts me thinking on how dirty the kitchen area could be errrr The food was standard and ok. French fries wasnt hot too cold. Threfore not great.

Went around 14:00hrs for a drive through. Order as per request. Food good service good.

The service was very fast and the food was great quality for the price. The staff were nice and ordering using the kiosks was easy.

Cold food, milkshake spilled over so cup was wiped with dirty cloth, after asking for it to be changed manager muttered under her breath about it being a clean cloth. Disgusting attitude from management, drink should have been changed no question. Appalling
