Cafe
Nestled in a charming locale, the Courtyard Cafe has quickly become a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike since its opening. With an inviting atmosphere, it’s no surprise that Saturdays around 1 PM see a bustling crowd eager to enjoy the delicious offerings. The cafe is known for its exceptional value and quality food, making it a go-to destination for breakfast or lunch.
Absolutely great place! ive just arrived as they were almost shutting - but no problems ordering a pork dinner so late. Staff always very helpful accommodating and friendly. This place is popular and can get busy, but the staff never get flustered. From ordering the food to being allocated a table to food being served, always efficient. They are on top of things, so if a customer spills something at a table, or on floor... immediately cleaned up. The food is lovely and excellent value. The belly buster big breakfast is one of the best ive ever had and superb value. So many cafes these days are run by ignorant folk who cant be bothered with customers, but here, it has a feel of a family run business who actually value customers! My only gripe, is its not open 7 days a week!! check out the attached photo of my pork dinner - it was luverly.

Yesterday morning I visited and opted for a belly buster breakfast with a free complimentary cup of black tea and a can of Pepsi. The food didn't take long to arrive at the table after ordering so was looking forward to tucking into it. Everything was edible and I can't fault that. The sausages were tasty with the beans and tomatoes faultless. However the mushrooms and fried bread seemed very oily and toast tasted like it was cheap bread. I will visit again and may opt for one of the homemade meals that are on offer or give the breakfast another try.
Greg M — Google review
I had a delicious breakfast in the Courtyard Cafe. My go to choice is the breakfast bun which contains sausage, bacon, a hash brown, mushrooms, fried egg and a choice of beans or tomato’s (beans win every time for me). The bun is served open due to the quantity of fillings and whilst it looks a bit messy it tastes amazing. As others have said I’m not sure of the brand of sausage but they are large and tasty. The cafe can get very busy so get there early or be prepared to wait a short while, it’s that popular.
Bob W — Google review
Nice chicken and mayo sandwich, I had to drink was latte, it’s inside the market, friendly service, would recommend it
K — Google review
Was passing Freenman Street market and popped in! Came across the Courtyard Cafe, sat down for a bacon bun and a cuppa really nice. Friendly staff and quick service. Only issue really was two bits of bacon in a bun really felt like it needed three! Loved it thought. Be back soon to try out that breakfast!
Stewart W — Google review
Yes turned up for a coffee and a breakfast as my daughter is in a class for sewing next to the Cafe. A horrible woman comes over asking my partner to move on as we have not ordered food or a drink. Even tho we had every intention of ordering the only reason we hadn't ordered yet is my partner was breastfeeding are 7 week old son. . Terrible dont bother cafe round corner are more welcoming.
Steven C — Google review
Had a big breakfast and man was it good. Absolutely delicious food and massive portion on the buster £8 for full breakfast plus toast/fried bread and a cuppa.. bosh. Can't wait for my next visit.
Pippa W — Google review
Been here a few times at the weekend and it’s always busy so a good indicator of quality. They offer a great breakfast and daily specials such as cottage pies etc. and we’ve always enjoyed the food. Pic is the mega breakfast which was too much for me but the person I was with managed it!!

Hotel
Nestled in the vibrant heart of town, The Yarborough Hotel offers a delightful blend of comfort and convenience. Guests rave about the well-appointed rooms and suites, which feature cozy double beds adorned with soft pillows, spacious bathrooms complete with walk-in showers, and essential amenities like tea and coffee-making facilities. With air conditioning that keeps you cool during your stay, it’s an ideal retreat right across from the train station.
Stayed here a few times. Lovely rooms and friendly helpful staff. Bit last time we stayed we stayed in room 108 and it was very noisy with some type of generator right outside the window. Would definitely stay again but would request another room x
Janice H — Google review
The bedrooms are amazing and at the prices you pay a lot better than any of the other big chains. Food is standard spoons grub but the fish an chips are amazing! It's Grimsby so go for the Haddock. Service was polite and efficient, pub was clean, room was immaculate. Stayed here before an will do again. Can't fault the location middle of town with good access to road rail an buses. Overall very pleasant
Lee B — Google review
I stayed at this hotel for 2 days. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff provided good service — they even cleaned the room the next day without me having to ask. The air conditioner worked perfectly and made the stay pleasant. However, I was disappointed with the food. The ramen was absolutely not worth the money, though I did enjoy the avocado toast. Overall, it was a nice stay with great rooms and service, but the food could definitely be improved.
Astha T — Google review
Speed of service on the app has absolutely nosedived recently, even when the place is very quiet and staff (management included) don’t seem to care at all. I’ve previously been a big fan of this place but can’t recommend it anymore.
James D — Google review
Centrally located hotel in Grimsby. The room - 334 - was clean, the bathroom spacious, and the bed comfortable. An iron (always a plus), kettle, free biscuits, and a bottle of water were provided. Breakfast wasn’t included, but considering the price per night, that’s fine. The advantage is that the hotel is located above a pub, with a wide selection of beers at a fairly reasonable price. Highly recommended!
Eugene T — Google review
Located in the centre of town adjacent to the railway station. Rooms are good. Beer prices very cheap. Food typical Wetherspoons, cheap and cheerful. Fish and chips good.
David C — Google review
Very well refurbished rooms. I was in 214. The double bed was very comfortable with soft pillows. There's a very roomy bathroom with a walk in shower with an overhead rainfall shower head. A kettle with tea bags, coffee and hot chocolate. The air conditioning works great. And it's right across the train station. There's about 20 carpark spaces, there is a larger carpark close by. Very pleased I chose to stay here. Recommend.

Today's breakfast was brought to you by the deep fat fryer, a note to the cook, you do not cook bacon, sausages or black pudding in a deep fat fryer unless your just lazy, today's breakfast was shocking to say the least

Riverhead Coffee has made quite a name for itself since its inception in 2015, now boasting three vibrant locations in Grimsby and Cleethorpes. This beloved independent coffee shop is a haven for both locals and visitors, offering an inviting atmosphere adorned with colorful decor. The menu is a delightful mix of homemade treats like Chocolate Coconut Flapjack and Giant Cookies, alongside hearty lunch options such as bagels filled with Chicken Pesto-Mayo or Avocado.
Came across by chance whilst looking for a decent coffee and cake stop. What a gem!! Lovely smooth roasted coffee AND tea from the Brew Tea company! Ordered two Pieces of tea loaf from the wonderful array of home bakes on display. All very good and worth a stop off if in the area.

I was recommended to come visit, and so glad I did. It has cosy vibes, exceptional coffee, and delicious treats make this shop a must-visit. The barista wasfriendly and knowledgeable, crafting each cup with care. Perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends – can't recommend highly enough. Dog welc9ne too, bonus.

This amazing business recently helped to host our very first Silent Book Club! They have plenty of seating, with the main seating downstairs and 2 rooms upstairs, one of which is a family room. The room upstairs had plenty if books which you can help yourself to/swap for new reads and plenty of board games. It feels very rustic and quirky, with a great atmosphere. Everyone who came loved it, some people had been there before and some was their first time, eager to return. We're all so excited to have a monthly meeting at Riverhead Coffee, and I am so, so grateful for such a lovely place to enjoy reading and socialising. Definitely recommend visiting this spot! The staff are absolutely wonderful, couldn't do enough for you and are so friendly. 💜☺️

Lovely cafe for lunch. Friendly and efficient staff. Tea was lovely. I do love a teapot with proper tea. The homemade fruit cake was delicious. I will definitely return next time I'm visiting grimsby

This is my absolute favorite cafe in town! Visitings Riverhead Coffee is always an unique experience. They offers delicious coffee, fantastic cakes and healthy lunches. Owner and staff are so friendly and pleasant to talk with and they always show the best attitude to their customers. And a new Deli shop is just what we needed in the area! Highly recommended!

Yesterday (Sunday 9th March 2025) I visited Riverhead Coffee (Grimsby) for a coffee drink & something to eat. I wasn`t sure what to have however Tyler (Riverhead Coffee member of staff) was serving myself, in which he was on hand with their quick and creative thinking of what I should have, the only things I said was, I would like some salad & I hadn`t had breakfast. Tyler thought of what they have in which they made this lovely creation which was: roasted sweet, tomato salsa, avocado with salad and home made potato salad. The creation was a lovely surprise in which I wasn`t expecting, it was nice, refreshing with everything coming together perfectly. Tyler`s customer service wasn`t anything short than expectational, with him taking the time to care, understand and do the very best to serve customers. Whilst I was there I first hand saw him take to his own helping and being understanding of others, in my option the team are very lucky to have someone as amazing as they are. I would highly recommend Riverhead Coffee to all. Samantha Brown

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has been serving up delicious burgers and crispy fries for decades. The iconic chain made its debut in the UK back in 1974, with its first restaurant opening in Woolwich, London. However, it wasn't until December 3, 1984, that Grimsby residents could indulge in their favorite Big Mac at the brand's 152nd outlet. Today, McDonald's boasts over 1,400 locations across the country.
Come here about 3 times a week with my dad after we've been to Snooker 💯👍 Great father n Son bonding...🤣 But I love it. An staffs great, atmosphere is good. Food is good if its fresh. So thanks!!

Not sure I asked for bite marks in my muffin bun before it was cooked... what else goes on there? Rest of the food appeared ok...

Visit multiple times around midnight and I've twice now ordered a McCrispy and it has been rock solid and overcooked, totally inedible. It's irritating because the large meal was over £10 and for the burger to be a rock solid husk of overcooked chicken is ridiculous.

Top tip folks. Whenever you buy flat white coffee from the drive through, check you have coffee in the cup! A few times I have been caught out where my flat white coffee order was just a hot cup of milk!!! Peed off to say the least as I hadn't realised until I was on the road driving. I did mention it the next time I went and was told I should have brought it back......yeah right when ya on the motorway. Also check ya bread flat bread bacon, I have regularly been served with just one tiny piece of bacon inside flat bread. I know it sounds petty, but when ya starving and really need the bacon it becomes a big deal. Apart from that, staff are fabulous 👌
Patsy M — Google review
Wow, what a grim experience! It seems this place really embraced its Grimsby location. The drink situation was flat – literally, no fizzy or chilled options, just plain bottled drinks. Ketchup was a no-show in the machines, and our order played hide-and-seek: a burger was missing, and the halloumi fries went AWOL too, though we were too rushed to chase them down. And don't even get me started on the toilets – they were truly grim!
Peter Y — Google review
How on earth do you miss a burger when there was only 3 meals on the order and 1 meal was just chicken nuggets. Ordered delivery for it to arrive without the burger for the meal. I wouldn't complain if it was the first time but now its happened a few times, even managed to miss food whilst in the drive through.
Beth R — Google review
Almost empty at 2pm, very clean and a very helpful staff member on the restaurant floor, cleaning, tidilying and assisting me. The Big Arch was ordered for both of us. Excellent Burger- their best yet, bar none

I ordered 2 big mc meals 2 McFlurrys , ended up getting a happy meal and 2 watery McFlurrys , rang up and told them the manager was rude saying it wasn’t there fault it was just eats fault ? Managed to get refund from just eat ended up ordering from another McDonald near me told it would turn up about 8 then 5 mins before delivery was told your order was cancelled 😡. Will not be ordering again !

Asda Grimsby Supercentre is a bustling shopping destination that offers an impressive selection of food items and the popular George clothing line. Visitors will appreciate the spacious layout, which includes ample parking for convenience. The store boasts a friendly and helpful staff, although they can often be busy assisting with home shopping orders. While some areas could benefit from more frequent cleaning, the overall experience is enhanced by a great restaurant and various small businesses within the complex.

Absolutely shocking Service waited 42 minutes for someone to return to the bakery department to print a personalised cake for a birthday present no apology unacceptable
My U — Google review
Rude staff member at self checkout. Charged 69p for carrots despite price on the crate saying 46p. There was Lots of crates saying 46p. No big deal. It’s only carrots. Staff member made it out to be our fault. We didn’t put the crates of carrots in the wrong place. Come on!!! She was so Rude & it was all so unnecessary. Again….It’s carrots!!! Not a life altering event. A simple apology might have been a normal response but no…. We had to experience a staff member with attitude. What’s happened to customer service here. We were polite. We only wanted the price queried. Oh my!!! If you’re having a bad day… customers are not the ones you take it out on. Also 4 pack of donuts hard & stale . Yet still in Date.
AM ( — Google review
Went for a breakfast and Latte, no sausages and no Latte only poor instant coffee. Why can they not buy sausages in the store if they run out. The fact that you order electronically and pay for it makes it worse. If they don't have products you should not be able to order it. Very poor
Brian E — Google review
I usually go in asda because they generally sell items that I usually cannot get anywhere else. I used to enjoy the variety of foods, but I've noticed a dramatic change regarding their produce that has been reduced down to micro mini vacuum packed products, especially in the meat section. (Mince)as an example) and expect the customers to pay high prices, Veg Department a massive decline as there's never any left, total disappointment. I've worked in retail so I understand the high demand, but in my experience we have always restocked, and am wondering where's the staff to take care of such matters.

Getting better, could do with a more regular clean round the front door and carpark, once in plenty of stock, good prices and the normal ignorant get out of my way homeshoping army

Nestled along the picturesque A18, Route 18 Cafe is a delightful traditional lay-by spot that beckons travelers with its cozy ambiance and charming decor. Adorned with vintage tin signs and lush plants, this cafe offers a warm atmosphere where patrons can enjoy hearty breakfasts. The menu caters to all tastes, featuring everything from vegetarian options to the famed belly buster breakfast, which promises a satisfying feast for those daring enough to tackle it.
Amazing find, right on the main road. Large layby for parking, large space with lots of seats if you want to eat in. Comprehensive menu so something for everyone. Friendly staff and the place is very clean and well laid out. I had the medium breakfast, freshly cooked and the Lincolnshire sausages were a delight. Highly recommended, definitely on the list for a revisit.

A lovely traditional 'lay by' Cafe, on the scenic A18. The interior is cosy, full of charming tin signs, plants, and customers tucking in to excellent breakfasts. Speaking of which, our 'Vegetarian Breakfast' was really tasty, and well cooked too. But best of all, the ladies who do the cooking are friendly and chatty! All in all, highly recommended! Fantastic service and food was impeccable. I’m not a fan of Lincolnshire sausages however these may have converted me.
Chris D — Google review
What an absolute gem of a cafe. My family and I had a great breakfast here, and the ladies' cooking and serving were really friendly and efficient. The belly buster is a must try if you dare! Very tasty sausages and bacon were just an added bonus to the perfectly cooked breakfasts we all enjoyed.
Paul R — Google review
⭐☆☆☆☆ Poor hygiene and disappointing food I was really put off by the hygiene standards during my recent visit. An older lady working behind the counter (white hair short glasses) coughed directly into her hand and never washed it. Despite this, she went on to handle a 4-pint bottle of milk, made two teas while touching the cups for another couple, and then served me my bacon bun — all without washing her hands once. That’s a serious concern, especially when handling food and drink. To make things worse, the bacon bun I paid £3.70 for only had two small pieces of bacon in it — definitely not good value for money. I won’t be coming back anytime soon, and I hope the staff are reminded about basic hygiene practices, in todays world people should know better.

Tastys has always been lovely but is now 100% perfect after the refurb. I went with my partner today, he had the jumbo breakfast and i had the standard. Fresh, homemade gorgeous food. Nothing compares! I can't wait to visit again, always feel welcome. Thank you❤
Sophie G — Google review
Went for breakfast today with the other half as our usual place was full. Ordered 2 standard breakfasts with mushrooms and a hash brown each, I had a mug of tea. Hash brown was crisp, toast was hot and the cup of tea was spot on but that was about as good as it gets. Egg was still a bit snotty, bacon was ok-ish, beans were just warm. The deep fried sliced mushrooms were like chewing on fried cardboard and the cheap sausages were terrible with no flavour. Cost us just over £15 which is over £5 more expensive than our usual place and nowhere near as good. I'm guessing Tasty's is one of those joke names like Posh hotel. Also, could do with an extractor fan in the kitchen, came out with the other halves coat smelling like she'd sat next to a chip pan for half hour. Friendly member of staff hence the 1 star.
Russ H — Google review
Tastys is a good small old style traditional family friendly restaurant/takeaway and it's tucked away on New street in Grimsby town centre. I not sure when this place first opened but I can't recall it not being here, nothing has changed much over the years,it's still a good clean, well lit and brightly decorated place, it has it's own restrooms which are situated on the first floor. The food is traditional as well, a good selection of breakfasts, main meals which include home style pies, desserts and buns, the portion sizes are good here and the prices very reasonable given it's location. I think that it's the most reasonably priced restaurant in this area of town that offers this kind of food. The layout consists of a standard table and chairs layout, unfortunately it's unable to accommodate wheelchair users. It's cash only here. It also has a children's menu making it family friendly and it has friendly staff who provide the table service. There's some street parking in the side streets and the multi storey car park's in the town centre. It has a 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 food hygiene rating. Food review Jan 2019. I opted for a large roast beef dinner and a mug of tea. The size of the meal was generous in proportion with good selection of vegetables, the Yorkshire puds and some of the vegetables were of the frozen variety I think, the price of £6.55 was very reasonable for the meal, good value for money given the size of the meal. It is and always has been a nice cosy place to nip for a quick meal that won't break the bank. Update February 2020. There's been a few improvements made at Tasty's since my last visit. Firstly it's been redecorated, it's got a cleaner and brighter look and feel. 👍They have removed a couple of tables allowing easier access to the remaining tables,it was a little cramped before, the seating is all matching now.😊They have also reopened the first floor and access to a restroom. 👍 They had some soft background music playing which helped improve the atmosphere. Food review February 2020. There were noticable improvements to the food I received today compared to my previous visit, I opted for steak Pie today, a nicely presented plate of food arrived after a short while, comprising of a good slice of homemade style pie, this had a good crisp short pastry crust and a generous filling of tender good sized pieces of beef with a rich sauce, accompanied by some nice buttery mashed potatoes, fresh carrots and fresh savoy cabbage 👍, nothing sourced from frozen on my plate everything was fresh, which was a good improvement .👌 Price wise, still very reasonably here, I paid £5.25 for my meal and a further 80p for a mug of tea. I've upped my rating of this restaurant based on the improvements made to the fabric of restaurant and quality of the food. Update December 2021. Back open as usual, popped in for a lunchtime meal, I opted for a large cottage Pie with vegetables, an individually cooked pie arrived after a short wait accompanied by a generous portion of mashed potatoes, fresh carrots and Savoy cabbage,a nice traditional meal and plenty of it. I paid £7.75 for my meal which included a mug of tea. Food review November 2022. I popped in for lunch today, and opted for chicken curry with rice, chips and a mug of tea which arrived after a short while, a generous meal arrived, the curry was extremely mild but included plenty of chicken pieces and was reasonably flavorful. I paid £6.15 for my meal and drink.

Very nice staff and very clean we go to taste every week we have the jumbo breakfast and my children have the standard and we all love it don't have a bad word about the place.

Owners are very nice and polite. very clean very well prepared meals. well spaced out tables upstairs and downstairs. Wheelchair friendly and pushchairs very good all round quality.
Jedi V — Google review
Not wheelchair friendly entrance. Breakfast ok large portions but poor quality. Dutch cloth on tables and fake flowers. Table was suppose to be clean but there was beans smeared on table, stains on flowers and dust, which trailed into sugar dish. Windows full of cobwebs and dead flies. Hot chocolate not nice, when paying saw that it was from a sachet £1 for the box of satches unnamed brand. Glad the price was cheap. Will not be returning

Nestled in a charming corner, Buzz Cafe is a delightful family-run establishment that exudes warmth and friendliness. The inviting atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for breakfast or lunch. During my visit, I was greeted by polite staff who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. I savored two lattes alongside small breakfasts, with the flexibility to swap one item without any hassle—something rare in many cafes!
A very relaxed friendly family run cafe with a nice atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming and polite. We ordered 2 latte and 2 small breakfasts they allowed me to swap one of my breakfast items without quibble or extra charge unlike some places. Food was well presented hot and very tasty. The cafe uses all fresh produce and butchers bacon and sausages. Latte's were brought just before the breakfast so that you hadn't drunk them before your food got there which was a nice touch. We will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.

I was in the area and ready for some lunch. Instead of going into the supermarket I stopped by here and ordered a sandwich. Fresh and tasty the bread was lovely. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit!
Nicola T — Google review
Staff were really lovely, such a shame about the breakfast! Service was quick. The breakfast was not hot and the mushrooms were really salty. The sausage appeared to have been microwaved, eggs lukewarm/cold. We complained and the resolution was to microwave the breakfast again!!!! We only paid for our drinks and didn’t eat the breakfast. What a shame, one to cross off our list!

Ate here for the first time today and will definitely be going back. Breakfast was the best I've had in ages and all the staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful.

Well I have admit, that even though I work around the corner from Cafe Buzz, for some strange reason I’d not tried them! More fool me, as i recently popped in there for some breakfast sustenance and wow, the food was incredible! Superb service, faultless food and that is definitely down to the quality ingredient’s used. Fantastic bacon, lovely fresh rolls and amazing Lincolnshire sausages - locally sourced I presume. Needless to say, thank you and I shall look forward to working my way through the menu!

During my recent visit to Tesco Cafe, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the warm service provided by the staff. The two servers were not only polite but also genuinely interested in ensuring that my meal was enjoyable, which is a level of attentiveness you might expect at a fine dining establishment. This friendly atmosphere truly enhances the experience! Although I typically wouldn't consider dining at a supermarket cafe, I couldn't resist trying their breakfast after seeing how appetizing it looked—and it did not disappoint!
Popped in for a wapp N a flat white. Lovely. Consumed N done.

Tasty Halloumi burger with seasoned fries, tea to drink too, would recommend it, good service
K — Google review
Could do with a proper deep clean - trays were coated with a thick residue of grime and floors, tables and surfaces were all streaked and stained. Very disappointing bacon bap, bacon was watery, undercooked and tepid. Good coffee and pleasant staff hence 3 stars for them.
Simon H — Google review
Normally I would not touch a supermarket cafe but today the breakfast looked so good and it was
Mark H — Google review
Paid nearly £12 for a breakfast with a coffee, paid extra for sausage, bacon and extra egg, still could of put the whole thing between 2 rounds of bread. One slice of toast, I mean come on, who does one slice of toast. No mushrooms, black pudding, tomatoes, hardly a full English is it. Throughout I was plagued by flies landing on my plate, worried the flies might steal some of my meagre breakfast I ate quickly and left still hungry, feeling I'd just been ripped off. £12, never again I'm afraid. If you want a decent breakfast, don't go to tesco, you will be very disappointed. I've rated 1 star but had to, otherwise I can't post this but in reality I would give zero stars
Liam O — Google review
They have put the prices up again. We used to pop in there every week for a coffee and somthing to eat. Latte is now over £3 a cup. Breakfast very small, no mushroom or tomoto. Just one slice of bacon 1 sausage one egg 1 slice of toast and beans. Our time is up we will be going somewhere else in future.

Fresco Cafe Within Humber Seafood Institute is a delightful spot that truly impresses with its extensive menu and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast or craving something customizable like their hot dogs, this cafe has you covered. The breakfast burritos are particularly noteworthy—massive, flavorful, and an excellent value! Plus, if you're feeling adventurous, there's a slushie machine and ice cream station to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Friend of mine ordered a massive breakfast, and I jokingly asked if they deliver - and yes, yes they do. And HOW! Omfg - I ordered the breakfast burritos for delivery as a surprise for my husband on our day off - what a TREAT! These are monster burritos, excellent value, super tasty - we are well impressed; I'm going to see if I can convince hubby it needs to be a regular thing!

i came with fellow Carmand service users and staff here and i liked the fact that you could customise a hot dog to have it without the onions. there is a slushie machine and an ice cream machine. as I am a client of Carmand, i don't have to pay for anything. i get it served complimentary at no cost to me. the staff are all very welcoming and friendly

I went into cafe today for sandwich as i started work at 4am , i was told to wear a mask even though i have a exemption badge , i was made to feel like an outcast , and told to stand near a table and they would serve me when they had time , i was made to feel because i have a disability that i cant even get anything to eat , you need to educate your staff and stop them from making people who are disabled feeling like this awful staff and very abrupt !!!!

This is an unsung-gem of good, affordable food! Just a little away from the main sections of the town, but worth a slight detour if your hungry. The Chicken is always good, the serving size isn't shy and my pocket doesn't get angry at the prices. I regularly pop in for chicken and perhaps grab a coffee, but there's other stuff here to get. It's not just for the train station, the public can happily wander in a d grab a seat, or just take a bag to go.
Rich P — Google review
I stopped off for a cup of tea and a BLT sandwich ready to get the train for work, while my cuppa was being made I decided to stop for a bacon butty as I had plenty of time, the owners was really friendly and made me feel welcome, the bacon butty was perfect, normally I don't like cups of tea from cafe as I don't think they are very nice but I'm glad I got one, it was perfect and just what I needed. Great service with a smile, thankyou

Arrived at Grimsby station with 90 minutes to my train. Found the station cafe. What a hidden gem. After all the standard coffee chains, this one is the real deal. The best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted. Great panini sandwiches. Reasonably priced and Mark, the owner is a genuinely friendly chap. An all round 5 star experience. Thank you.

Think the guys name was Mark- Gave my little boy a free hot chocolate. Made my day, he got no recognition for it and did it off his own back. If you see this Mark I wish you the best with everything in your future. Sean
