Massage spa
Terme di Chianciano is a renowned thermal bath complex in Tuscany, known for its rich hot water springs dating back to the Etrurian and Roman ages. The area is filled with archaeological sites, and the thermal center itself has a history dating back to the late 17th century. Visitors can enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, spa treatments, and therapeutic options. Additionally, there are other free thermal areas nearby that can be explored by car.
Wow. Really enjoyed our three hours in the numerous hot pools, saunas, steams. It was a great experience!
Mary P — Google review
I frequent spa and natural relaxing treatments and was excited by this possibility. Don’t do it. No offense and love so much about this country and area but this place- don’t waste your time. Bathrobes old and ratty. Tries to be nice but old and honestly slightly ghetto. Saunas barely hot and literal pieces of skin or something’s floating around in still pool. We tried but had to warn anyone who reads reviews. :/
Rebekah J — Google review
Lovely! Had a lovely massage, great lunch, good company. A must see and do!
Miriam H — Google review
Very nice "spa" offering all kinds of "treatments". Clean and professionally run. Although you will be supplied with a bathing cap, good idea to bring your own (applies to both the ladies and the men).
Stefan K — Google review
We came all the way here but they charge much more than mentioned on their website (29 eur per 4 hours) Plus: they won’t let you see the place before “You pay first” Quite rude and unfriendly service We gave up because of that We have been to a similar place much cheaper and amazing service Not recommended atall

Park
Parco Fucoli in Chianciano Terme has been renowned since Etruscan times for its therapeutic thermal waters, including the Holy, the Fucoli, and the Sillene springs. The park offers a simple yet well-maintained environment with tables, benches, and barbecues. It is also a spacious venue for events such as concerts and conferences, where visitors can even bring their pets.

(Translated by Google) The park is large and very beautiful but not well looked after: more routine maintenance is needed. Fortunately it is free to enter. Excellent for children, there is a decent fenced and shaded play area: safe and cool in summer. Demonstrations are often held inside and in Palamontepaschi, which is therefore interesting and sometimes crowded. It has ample room for improvement. Nestled in the charming town of Chianciano Terme, the Museo Archeologico is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts eager to delve into the fascinating Etruscan and Roman heritage of the region. This medium-sized museum offers an intimate experience with its thoughtfully curated displays that bring ancient artifacts to life, showcasing exquisite bronze and gold works that reflect the artistry of past civilizations. Visitors will appreciate the informative translations available through QR codes, enhancing their understanding of each exhibit.
What a great medium-sized museum. You hear a lot about Rome but this is all about the Etruscans. It’s all set out in very true-to-life displays where possible. Some of their bronze and gold work was amazing. Not crowded. Lifts are available. Parking just uphill behind the museum. €6 entry per adult. We had a great visit. Very well done.

Well worth a visit. Good value (€6) and the exhibits are really interesting, and backed by really helpful translations driven by QR codes. The added benefit is the basement which is really cool and a respite from the burning temperatures outside. Particularly strong on the social history of the Etruscans. The museum would benefit from a more helpful overview at the start to allow the visitor to understand the exhibits in their totality and also to get an overall perspective on the Etruscans as a people. But definitely well worth a visit.

It’s a simple, humble place but the view and the quality of the food make it feel high-end. The pizza was fresh, full of flavor, and the whole setting made the experience unforgettable.

A small but delightful restaurant with very good pizza and "trousers" Difficult to park but we'll worth the visit. Fresh and we'll prepared ingredients. Tasty family run business.

Il Torotosco is a charming little gem that feels like a delightful escape into a whimsical world. This cozy eatery prides itself on homemade dishes, including their delicious chips and succulent burgers that are sure to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with quirky decor featuring eclectic toys and vintage items, creating an unforgettable dining experience. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming vibe, eager to share insights about their menu offerings.
Wonderful lunch! We went because they have a traditional American burger menu and was craving some food from home but decided to go with the Italian menu. Delicious and really different from anything in the area. That even provide bibs in case things get messy! Will definitely be back.

Great proper burgers with local high quality ingredients. Definitely worth stopping here if you're passing through the area

Had a great experience, the food was super tasty and a bit out of the ordinary (even if their pasta looked great too). The deep fried olives were very good. Had a meat burger that was deep fried and crisp with fresh veggies. The vegetarian option had a potato patty with lime infused sallad on top. All together a very good experience!

We waited for an hour to be served our hamburger. My husband also ordered an non alcoholic beer (pointed it out on the menu) and they brought one with alcohol. The hamburgers were very good though.

Il Torotosco is a strange little wonderland of a restaurant. It's fairly small, with decor made up of a jumble of eclectic toys and other items. The speakers, for example, are mounted atop a dining chair that's been hung above the door, the placemats are old records, and a jar of marbles is in the windowsill next to half an oversized Lego woman climbing into a tureen. The menu is fully Italian on chalkboards spread across the wall, so review the menu online before you come for translations if you need them. I got a vegetarian burger and holy (nonexistent) cow, it was incredible. Absolutely delicious, totally different than any vegetarian burger I've had before, and singing with fresh ingredients. I honestly can't get over how good it was. I took my burger outside to eat on the surrounding benches and tables late in the evening, and I was surrounded by Italians doing similarly, eating and drinking with friends and family. It was the last night of my trip to Italy and it was a postcard-perfect way to end the trip. Absolutely would go to Il Torotosco again, and you should too.

Great food and big portions!

Great place, looks as it's family run, used to be street food but now it ascended to a new level, a level I am glad I was able to try as every bit of their bico sandwiches is one step forward to the satiety of the perfect Tuscany taste. The owners were so kind as to explain the difference between Tuscany bico and Umbria's "torta al testo" which now all makes sense to me as I'm going to try making this better version at home, thanks. The only few suggestions I'd make are to cook this type of bread slightly less to avoid all the many burnt patches and use less oil but hey for this latter part of the suggestion who am I to judge it, considering the street food origin. Also the only place in the area to make bico, so just get here if you want real Tuscany food 👌
