Morning trip out on the Quad tour, a really enjoyable experience albeit we encountered some rain along the way, however the Quad Safari staff kindly came out and met us along the way in their minibus with some ponchos, which were very much appreciated. Great staff, great views and a great experience. Loved the Olive oil museum and having a mooch around the abandoned ghost town. Highly recommended trip out!

We had an unforgettable evening tour with Quad Safari Crete, taking us through charming, authentic villages and beautiful landscapes — all under the expert and entertaining guidance of our amazing guide, Mr. Sexy (yes, that’s what he calls himself, and it suits his charismatic personality perfectly!). The tour was both exciting and informative. Along the way, we learned about local culture and the history of olive oil production, which Mr. Sexy explained with great knowledge and humor. You could really feel his passion for the region and its traditions. The final part of the ride was absolutely magical — driving through the landscape in the dark, lit only by our ATV headlights and the stars above. It created an unforgettable atmosphere. All in all, a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and great company. We can highly recommend Quad Safari Crete Peninsula to anyone looking to experience a different and authentic side of Crete — and of course, meet Mr. Sexy, who truly is the cherry on top!

Such an amazing experience! We had the best time, it’s so worth the money and the tour guides are excellent. We want to thank ‘Mr Sexy’ for making it such a fun tour to do on our last day of our holiday.

What an incredible time quad biking! From start to finish, the staff were incredibly professional, witty, and genuinely funny, making for a fantastic atmosphere. We chose the sunset ride, and it lived up to all expectations – the views as the sunset over the ocean were absolutely stunning and unforgettable. The first stop was the local olive mill (Striligkas olive mill and museum), which is a brilliant place to visit in its own right, even if you don't take a quad tour. Can't recommend this place enough! Thank you!!
Nita H — Google review
Had a great morning on the Quad bikes, the tour guide ‘Mr Sexy’ was super helpful and funny. First stop was at the Olive Mill where we got to do some tasting and they have lots of different oils available to purchase at such a good value. Second stop was to a ghost village and then the final stop was home to a famous painter - the gyros and fresh orange juice is amazing. Great views throughout the quad biking experience, definitely an experience worth doing while on holiday!
Louise M — Google review
Had amazing time with Quad Safari Peninsula today! A lot of adrenaline , beautiful views and cool information about olive oil production and traditional village life. Our guides did great job providing safety and comfortable travel around the city. And making this trip funny and easy. Special thank you to the Fathi and his team. We want to come back again. If you stay in the aria you for sure must try this tour! 💫
Aleksandra D — Google review
The tour took us on beautiful scenery, and the different stops at the ghost town and olive oil museum were also exciting. Special shoutout to ‘Mr. Sexy’, our tour guide who made this trip even more fun!

Paralia Psaromoura

Beach
Paralia Psaromoura is a picturesque crescent-shaped bay nestled between cliffs, shielding it from strong winds. While lacking restaurants and hotels, the beach offers convenient access to various amenities and ample sun loungers for relaxation. Visitors can partake in water activities like pedalo rides or paddle boarding on the stunning blue waters. The area also features nearby parking lots and scattered accommodations.
Beautiful clear blue sea, large pebble and rock beach (not sharp) Plenty of sunbeds to hire two for 25€ for two and a parasol...which I will need the sun beams on this beach that price is for the whole day. The bar on the beach is great very polite helpful and friendly staff which also run boat hire with or without captain 90€ for an hour and jet skis 60€ for 15 mins (plenty of time ) life jackets supplied and a lesson if you've not driven a boat if u want to take it out without a captain The sea is lovely and warm lots of fish to sea if you like to go under the water, water is still small movement not massive waves Nice walk down to the beach, steep hill back up but very much worth it We spent every day on this beach we hired a boat twice so it was nice to see further than the eye and sea more under the sea and little coves. The guys that work on the beach you do an amazing job and are so welcoming thank you all Go and explore We will be back next year
Sarah C — Google review
It’s a beautiful small beach, but the private area’s umbrella are a bit overpriced. 25€ for the first row, 20€ for the rest. However, the bar was convenient with 0,50€ for a 0,5L bottle of water and 2,50€ for an iced coffee (frappe). There’s a public beach area, too, and free parking. You have to walk 4-5 min to the beach as it is downhill.
Alion Ç — Google review
Gorgeous little beach. Affordable and comfy beds, beautifully clear water and great cliff-jumping spots ✨ It's quite small so could get pretty crowded.
Rachel L — Google review
Crystal clear water with rocks around the beach. You don't have to pay for sunbeds if there is room in the beach bar.
Filip B — Google review
It’s a pretty beach, clear water and a lot of marine life. Theres free parking 4 minutes away and a small bar on the beach. There are sunbeds available but they cost 25 euro next to the sea and 20 euro near the back. There is also place for you to place your towels directly on the ground depending on the busyness or the time of day. We came here at about 3 in the afternoon and there were free spots with sun but also in the shade. There’s a small cabin to change into your bathing suit but no available bathroom. The bad thing is the insufferable loud music coming from the bar.
Anghelina C — Google review
It is a nice beach with stones. The water is very clear. You can easily see the bottom. Umbrella and two sezlongs are 25 eur (2024). There is a bar with a variety of drinks and some sandwiches and chips. I recommend buying some snacks from markets before coming here. There are 2 mobile toilets upstairs if you dare to use them. Free parking is available.
Özkan Ç — Google review
Sunbeds are too expensive - 25€ per set Unfortunately they have covered the whole beach with sunbeds so there is no space to sit down with your own towel. The beach is super nice though - compared to what you can find close to Heraklion
Alexandra G — Google review
Quite small pebble beach. It was pretty crowded today, probably because it was Saturday. There is a bar on the beach. 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella 20€. The water is very clear and worth snorkeling. Some water shoes would be useful too. There is a free parking up.

Beaches
Psaromoura Beach, located in the Agia Pelagia complex in Heraklion, is a small yet popular spot among locals. The bay is surrounded by rocks and offers a secluded escape from noise and crowds. Visitors recommend arriving early to secure an umbrella and enjoy the private feel of the beach. A friendly bartender serves drinks and snacks at the beach bar, while water sports like jet skis, kayaks, and paddle boarding are available for adventure seekers.
Very beautiful beach which during low season (end of October) wasn’t too crowded (high season is most likely very different). The water is so clear and it was a snorkeling paradise for us and the kids!
Appelgretchen — Google review
The beach itself was lovely—clean water, a great spot for a morning swim, and ideal for snorkeling. We only visited in the morning to enjoy a swim and a coffee. However, the atmosphere at the bar was a bit off. The staff, particularly the guy at the bar and his girlfriend, seemed somewhat annoyed and not very welcoming—perhaps because it was still early, around 9 a.m. It created a slightly uncomfortable vibe. We’d definitely return to the beach for the water and the setting, but probably skip the bar next time.
Jana C — Google review
The food was not very special. Loved the sunbeds at this beach. They were so soft and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely visit the beach again.
Steffi H — Google review
The water here is amazing I really enjoyed to swim there. For two people we paid 25 Eur and got the sunbed from the second row. After second row, sunbeds for two are 20 Eur but they are not clean as like the first two rows. The main problem here is wc. They have only plastic cabins. Also to eat they sell only sandwiches.
Melda A — Google review
The beach is somewhat small and the water level is immediately high. It is not easily accessible to everyone and this makes it ideal to stay all day in a very beautiful stall protected from the wind by the mountains and with spectacular views of the coast. There is a bar where you can buy some drinks and ice cream. Prices are ok
Technoselectors — Google review
Such a nice beach, definitely recommended! You need to come early to get an umbrella (up to 10:30). The beach itself is small and feels private, there is a beach bar with drinks and snacks served by very friendly bartender. Watersports also available, small boat, jet ski, kayaks, paddle boarding and katamarans. The only downside is the rocky entrance into the water however it makes the water extremely transparent. Overall a must visit place.
Nicolae P — Google review
Psaromoura Beach is a little hidden, which makes it the perfect place for a quiet morning or afternoon. There’s lot’s of beds to rent, but the prices were very high (€15,- for two) compared to other beaches. But also some room to sit in the sand.

Great place to relax and enjoy a good meal. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food and wonderful view. We had lunch & dinner and both times we were very satisfied. Highly recommend!

Great place near Agia Pelagia. The food is really tasty and the view is great. Also a sound plus for the music selection, you can enjoy all of this combined in a nice setting. Highly recommend it 🤗
Marta M — Google review
The food was delicious, and the staff were always friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. I visited the restaurant 3 to 4 times, and each time they treated us with a complimentary dessert, it was such a nice touch. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re nearby.

What a wonderful find. Perched on the cliff with the most amazing views across the bay. The food was amazing. We had the mixed fish platter and unfortunately also ordered starters. Unfortunately, because portion sizes were very generous and we couldn't finish our main course. Service was attentive and atmosphere was warm and friendly despite being towards the end if the season. We will come back next time we come to Agia Pelagia!!!
Giovanna M — Google review
Everything about the Yamas restaurant is perfect: the food is delicious, fresh, and made with love, and there is a wide variety from greek to european cuisine. The service is impeccable (and the servers are really cute) and overall the ambiance and location are great. The view on the sea accompanied by great music just gives this restaurant a unique experience and a great vibe. If I come to Crete again, I will definitely return to the Yamas restaurant, it is worth a visit! Definitely recommended. We love you Manolis, Ndorian, Manos, Kristi 🩷🇬🇷🫵🏼 Kisses from the crazy blondes 😘

Wonderful location, great food and the staff was really good, not much wait and good advice as to what wines or servings to pick. We had feta cheese rolls for two which was just enough, a bit salty but good overall. We then had a moussaka and chicken with feta sauce and fries which was good. The restaurant’s favourite white wine is really nice and will not break your wallet. Overall not so pricey, especially for the location, we had a superb moment. Definitely a must go if you are nearby. We were also served a piece of cake along with the raki, no need for a desert. You will not see the sunset as the place is facing east, but you will admire all sorts of wonderful colours while having dinner.

I have been many countries around the world as well as many places, restaurants in Crete in Greece. I am going to tell this restaurant has a different tropic modern vibes and unique style compared to all other popular restaurants. The staff ı dont even know what to say. They are so professional, ı know how the owners approach to customer if they are into money or hospitability. Those guys are so professional. I understand from food, serving style, approach techniques, the materials which is being used, ıf they are tricking you or honest etc. I can tell they make you feel premium vip customer. I really loved their friendly style. No matter who you are, they welcome you with their best. I believe their staff is choosen the best ones. Never felt any bad treatment or any bad vibes. This place deserve 10 star. Efharisto para poli mou file Yasass🏖️🇬🇷❤️💯
