Beaches
Psaromoura Beach, located in the Agia Pelagia complex in Heraklion, is a small yet popular spot among locals. The bay is surrounded by rocks and offers a secluded escape from noise and crowds. Visitors recommend arriving early to secure an umbrella and enjoy the private feel of the beach. A friendly bartender serves drinks and snacks at the beach bar, while water sports like jet skis, kayaks, and paddle boarding are available for adventure seekers.
Very beautiful beach which during low season (end of October) wasn’t too crowded (high season is most likely very different). The water is so clear and it was a snorkeling paradise for us and the kids!
Appelgretchen — Google review
The beach itself was lovely—clean water, a great spot for a morning swim, and ideal for snorkeling. We only visited in the morning to enjoy a swim and a coffee. However, the atmosphere at the bar was a bit off. The staff, particularly the guy at the bar and his girlfriend, seemed somewhat annoyed and not very welcoming—perhaps because it was still early, around 9 a.m. It created a slightly uncomfortable vibe. We’d definitely return to the beach for the water and the setting, but probably skip the bar next time.
Jana C — Google review
The food was not very special. Loved the sunbeds at this beach. They were so soft and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely visit the beach again.
Steffi H — Google review
The water here is amazing I really enjoyed to swim there. For two people we paid 25 Eur and got the sunbed from the second row. After second row, sunbeds for two are 20 Eur but they are not clean as like the first two rows. The main problem here is wc. They have only plastic cabins. Also to eat they sell only sandwiches.
Melda A — Google review
The beach is somewhat small and the water level is immediately high. It is not easily accessible to everyone and this makes it ideal to stay all day in a very beautiful stall protected from the wind by the mountains and with spectacular views of the coast. There is a bar where you can buy some drinks and ice cream. Prices are ok
Technoselectors — Google review
Such a nice beach, definitely recommended! You need to come early to get an umbrella (up to 10:30). The beach itself is small and feels private, there is a beach bar with drinks and snacks served by very friendly bartender. Watersports also available, small boat, jet ski, kayaks, paddle boarding and katamarans. The only downside is the rocky entrance into the water however it makes the water extremely transparent. Overall a must visit place.
Nicolae P — Google review
Psaromoura Beach is a little hidden, which makes it the perfect place for a quiet morning or afternoon. There’s lot’s of beds to rent, but the prices were very high (€15,- for two) compared to other beaches. But also some room to sit in the sand.

Lygaria beach is the second largest beach in Agia Pelagia, featuring a mix of sandy and rocky areas. It offers various amenities including restaurants, cafes, a diving center, water sports facilities, sun loungers and umbrellas. The clear blue waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling with an abundance of marine life to explore. Visitors can also enjoy activities like kayaking and paddleboarding. The surrounding cliffs provide a picturesque backdrop to this charming beach community.
Great beach, choice of restaurants to eat from. Good walking areas. Public washroom potty, and changing room available. Only draw back is steep drive down to beach, with sharp turns where you are blind to on coming cars. Drive carefully.
Alex H — Google review
Beautiful beach with a mix of locals and tourists. Not too busy, but gets bussier at the end of the day. Great restaurant choices to choose from and the water is absolutely stunning. Take a look on the cliff on the left side and get a great view of the bay. The right side has a smaller cliff on the end which is absolutely recommended to take a dive or look and see how clear and blue the water gets here.
Day D — Google review
Very crowded on a Sunday with extremely choppy water while we were there. Sand beach, with restaurants along the way and some gorgeous places to take pics on either end of the beach. Staying here, we enjoyed it, but might not be worth a drive…
Livia K — Google review
Great beach! Got there around 2 pm, nobody charged me for the sunbed. A bit slippery when you go in, but it's truly a small beautiful oasis. Would return
Karla — Google review
Small beach with umbrellas. 2 sunbeds and umbrella 7€. Entrance to the sea: rock, pebbles and a little sand. Restaurants near. In the beach only one small supermarket.
Akvile P — Google review
Wonderful beach was enough umbrellas and variety of beds ranging from two to €10 for rent. Which is wider and not a shallow as in Aglia Pelagia. Wonderful snorkeling, opportunities to see small and large fish sitting on the seaweed. One of the best restaurants we’ve seen so far in Greece-Taberna Sirocco.
Katherine R — Google review
Decent price for umbrellas, cafes and taverns in nearby. Pebby sea, not crowded. Well recommended!
Mehtap M — Google review
Place is good but I gave a star less cause in comparison to the other beach (Agia Pelagia) we found this place a little limited in terms of choice of Resturants and accessibility + parking … otherwise the place looks very scenic and has ample amount of beds to sit and enjoy the sea

Mades Beach is a picturesque and intimate destination with clear waters, making it perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. The beach offers comfortable amenities such as chairs, drinks, food service, showers, and clean toilets. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful bay and swim to a nearby small island but should be cautious of currents. It's an ideal spot for those seeking privacy and relaxation in a charming setting. Additionally, the beach provides opportunities for various walking tours with stunning views in the surrounding area.
Nice beach with very friendly host, 3eur per chair as well as a drinks and food service. A shower, clean toilets and a bar do complete the set-up. Clean with extremely clear water in a nice bay good for snorkeling or scuba diving. A smal island is within swimming distance but beware of the currents!
Jan V — Google review
Beautiful beach but really busy due to the big hotel on the cliff. The water is absolutely beautiful. Great beach, but there are less busy beaches near which are just as beautiful. The umbrellas and seats cost €6 per day
Day D — Google review
Cool beach. but very often strong wind

Paralia Agia Pelagia, once a small fishing village, has transformed into a bustling tourist resort with hotels, restaurants, bars, and top-notch water sports facilities like scuba diving. It's popular among families and younger crowds for its lively atmosphere. For those seeking tranquility, there's a small sandy beach around the bay to the north near the cave-chapel of Evresi.
Süper nice beach. The bay is pretty much immune to wind. It wasn't crowded when we visited and the cafe behind serves many food & drinks and provides showers and WC.
Olcay S — Google review
We arrived an hour before sunset on a Sunday and found easy, free parking on the street. A 3 minute walk to the beach and we stopped at a minimarket on the way to buy some water. Now the beach as very little coastline for you to sit on, so you have to choose your spot carefully. You can either rent chairs, knowing the water with rush up under you. You can opt for a small section of sand, knowing that the water will wash away your things. You can grab a spot at the local bars/tavernas/cafes which are open the elements. We, however, walked to the rocks on the cliffside and that was a solid choice! The water is calm and beautiful. I swam around the coastline and was surprised by how many fish were swimming with me! A school of tiny silver fish, thousands of them, hung out with me. There were tiny rainbow fish too. It was beautiful. There are plenty of boats, so be careful. There are also place to jump off the cliff into the water, so be careful of divers too! All in all, if you are near Heraklion, I recommend this nice beach for a day of fun.
Jo J — Google review
Awesome beach with all what you need to enjoy, firstly they have good parking right at the entrance of the beach which is Great… and then shallow water in the start (there is a giant rock that blocks the waves and makes it more fun as you can go with toddlers as well) then goes deep, clear water, pebbles surface, no sticky sand, perfect for sun bathing with the benches available for EUR 5 for full day… (you just occupy the bench and someone will come and take the charges)… great Resturants on the brim and super markets !!! You can buy your beer or other drinks or fruits from the super market to save cost and then go to any restaurant for good food … there is a port-a-loo on the car parking area but otherwise all Resturant’s have washrooms that you can use if you buy something from there… Overall an AWESOME beach to go and spend your day if you are in this part of Crete (just 30 min drive from Heraklion, note the bus service is not good so don’t rely on that rather rent a car)
Abhinav S — Google review
A beach with clear water. It's very small, so there's little space for sunbathing or umbrellas. A set of umbrellas and loungers costs €10, but it's impossible to find any. Even if you go at 8:00 a.m., everything is occupied only by towels, which I believe are left the night before. People arrive at 10-11:00 a.m. I find this practice very unfair and wouldn't return to this beach for this reason.
Chiara F — Google review
A lot of options for free parking. It's 90% rocky beach, but the water is clear. Beautiful and pitoresque landscape nearby, worth everything. Unfortunately, there is little room for free sand towels
Creative D — Google review
Narrow beach but very nice, not windy. Many restaurants just behind.
Ognyan B — Google review
We went for a snorkelling/swim adventure here and then found this gem of a beachside bar. The cocktails are delicious. The strawberry daquaries are dangerous because they taste so good I could have easily drunk 3 in a row in quick succession and not realised how tipsy I was getting! We also tried the caipirinha, which neither of us had heard of before and that was delicious too! (Nice to have a rum based drink too, as most of the places we have been are more vodka/ouzo focused). There are some touristy shops nearby and, very helpfully for us, a taxi rank so you can get back to your hotel without having to wait for a bus! It's a shame this place isn't near our hotel because otherwise I think we would have been repeat customers. Service was good, staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Hannah's N — Google review
The beach is okayish, but the problem is it's too narrow, so if you're not renting a sunbed from one of the beach cafes, it's tricky to position a towel somewhere. On the left there are interesting rocks you can walk on and take beautiful pictures of the scenery. On the beach there is one cool hipsterish restaurant that is very colorful and has a great food, but a bit unfriendly staff. Lastly, water is very clean and clean which is a huge plus.

Beach
Paralia Psaromoura is a picturesque crescent-shaped bay nestled between cliffs, shielding it from strong winds. While lacking restaurants and hotels, the beach offers convenient access to various amenities and ample sun loungers for relaxation. Visitors can partake in water activities like pedalo rides or paddle boarding on the stunning blue waters. The area also features nearby parking lots and scattered accommodations.
Beautiful clear blue sea, large pebble and rock beach (not sharp) Plenty of sunbeds to hire two for 25€ for two and a parasol...which I will need the sun beams on this beach that price is for the whole day. The bar on the beach is great very polite helpful and friendly staff which also run boat hire with or without captain 90€ for an hour and jet skis 60€ for 15 mins (plenty of time ) life jackets supplied and a lesson if you've not driven a boat if u want to take it out without a captain The sea is lovely and warm lots of fish to sea if you like to go under the water, water is still small movement not massive waves Nice walk down to the beach, steep hill back up but very much worth it We spent every day on this beach we hired a boat twice so it was nice to see further than the eye and sea more under the sea and little coves. The guys that work on the beach you do an amazing job and are so welcoming thank you all Go and explore We will be back next year
Sarah C — Google review
It’s a beautiful small beach, but the private area’s umbrella are a bit overpriced. 25€ for the first row, 20€ for the rest. However, the bar was convenient with 0,50€ for a 0,5L bottle of water and 2,50€ for an iced coffee (frappe). There’s a public beach area, too, and free parking. You have to walk 4-5 min to the beach as it is downhill.
Alion Ç — Google review
Gorgeous little beach. Affordable and comfy beds, beautifully clear water and great cliff-jumping spots ✨ It's quite small so could get pretty crowded.
Rachel L — Google review
Crystal clear water with rocks around the beach. You don't have to pay for sunbeds if there is room in the beach bar.
Filip B — Google review
It’s a pretty beach, clear water and a lot of marine life. Theres free parking 4 minutes away and a small bar on the beach. There are sunbeds available but they cost 25 euro next to the sea and 20 euro near the back. There is also place for you to place your towels directly on the ground depending on the busyness or the time of day. We came here at about 3 in the afternoon and there were free spots with sun but also in the shade. There’s a small cabin to change into your bathing suit but no available bathroom. The bad thing is the insufferable loud music coming from the bar.
Anghelina C — Google review
It is a nice beach with stones. The water is very clear. You can easily see the bottom. Umbrella and two sezlongs are 25 eur (2024). There is a bar with a variety of drinks and some sandwiches and chips. I recommend buying some snacks from markets before coming here. There are 2 mobile toilets upstairs if you dare to use them. Free parking is available.
Özkan Ç — Google review
Sunbeds are too expensive - 25€ per set Unfortunately they have covered the whole beach with sunbeds so there is no space to sit down with your own towel. The beach is super nice though - compared to what you can find close to Heraklion
Alexandra G — Google review
Quite small pebble beach. It was pretty crowded today, probably because it was Saturday. There is a bar on the beach. 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella 20€. The water is very clear and worth snorkeling. Some water shoes would be useful too. There is a free parking up.

Almyra Seaside Food & Cocktails is the perfect spot to indulge in a delightful culinary experience while soaking up the sun. Just a short stroll from the beach, this charming restaurant offers an array of Mediterranean dishes that beautifully blend flavors, making each meal memorable. Guests can savor everything from expertly prepared sea bass to decadent chocolate desserts that leave you craving more.
Great place with traditional food selection. Very abundant portions so maybe you can skip the starters. They also bring bread and olives while you wait (1€ per person but worth it). The staff was nice and friendly and answered to our demands promptly. Free parking right behind the restaurant. don’t expect cheap prices, but it’s worth it - you’ll literally eating 1.5 meters from the sea. Good music, too.
Alion Ç — Google review
Very tasty food. Dishes had flavours that worked really well together, complimenting each other. The sea bass with veg is flavoured really well. The chocolate dessert was delicious! Creamy dark chocolate with a crispy base, mouth watering! We loved the food we returned the next day and had it again. The next day they also had prawn tempura which wasn’t on the menu. This is the best tempura I’ve had in my life. Good location where you get the ocean breeze.

Absolutely amazing experience – every single time! We came to this beach club several times during our stay, and every visit was a highlight. The location right by the sea is unbeatable, the atmosphere is super relaxing, and the drinks and food were always spot on. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the manager, who also served us as our waiter. He was incredibly friendly, super chill, and just an all-around amazing guy. Every time we returned, he recognized us instantly and made us feel like old friends. His energy and warmth really set the tone for the whole place. On our last day, we even took a goodbye photo with him — that’s how much we appreciated him. Thank you for everything! We’ll definitely come back next time we’re around. If you’re looking for a beach club with great vibes, top service, and the friendliest manager ever — this is the place! 🌊🍹🌞

Symposium Restaurant is a Greek eatery that offers a diverse range of dishes made with fresh ingredients, including both meat and seafood options. They also have options available for vegetarians and those on gluten-free diets. The restaurant provides indoor seating as well as an al fresco area for guests to enjoy their meals. This family-run establishment in Agia Pelagia, located opposite Alexander House Hotel, serves traditional Cretan cuisine that is both delicious and carefully crafted.
Excellent food at the beach, great service. We had lunch here several days in a row. Every time the lady kept greeting us with a large smile on her face, it was very friendly and welcoming. Each time, when we asked for the bill, we were surprised with fruit and raki- compliment from the house.
Ivalina S — Google review
Skip the Symposium salad - it’s a pricy salad mix with what looks like a store bought mayo based sauce, and way too much of it. They also kept a nicer table empty, even though it was the perfect size for our company and didn’t have a reserved sign on it. Definitely not a first choice among all the shore restaurants here.

We've tried five different restaurants here in Agia Pelagia and this one was the best. Delicious food and great service👌We were offered a strong drink at the end, along with some melon and grapes on the house.

Let's start by saying that the food is very fresh and good. But there's, at least with me, a big problem: the service! we've been ignored all the time, we had to reminder that we had ordered. After one hour and a half they bring the plates to us. So we've been here for a total of 2 and a half hour. So sorry for this 'cause the food was good, but we waste lots of time for this.
Matteo M — Google review
Very sorry to say but we got treated really poorly here. I simply asked what as in a dish and the server told me as he was walking away from me. Then our food took forever to show up. I have a feeling that due to the fact we didn’t speak greece is why they treated up poorly.

Today we rented a jet ski for 20 minutes, that was all okay except for one time where we ended up too close to the coast due to big waves and wind, and the jet ski was stopped as was explained at the start. This all seemed to be no problem and we drove back into the area after and then back to the beach as our time was up. Upon arrival a ‘coast police’ was waiting for us and without any explanation our passports, hotel information and phone number were asked. When we asked why this was necessary and if we did something wrong the answer was; no no it’s just a check and you have to give your information otherwise you’ll go to the police station. We said we wanted to know why and didn’t just want to give our information like that and the coast police got pretty mad at us in Greek and people were yelling at each other. In the end one of the guys from the rental explained to us that you need a permit to drive the jet ski, which no one had told us and we were not aware of. After half an hour of arguing with the Greek coast guard and the rental staff we were finally allowed to go. Let’s hope nothing else follows from this as this experience was already bad enough. Don’t rent a jet ski if you don’t have a licence!!! 👎👎👎👎🦆🦆🦆

Must do!! The owner and his crew are amazing friendly fun people!! In such a touristic island is not so easy to find spots that they really want you to have fun, instead of just your money. Well, that was a great spot with good Vibes!! We enjoyed a great experience ** absolutely recommend it 👍

Overall it was a very nice experience. We wanted to rent a boat and they said to us: You won't have fun because it's too windy. In my opinion it wasn't that windy, but they wanted us to enjoy the boat trip. That's a great service. Price for 3 hours with fuel included is perfect. Thank you and hope to see you soon.
Pavel S — Google review
Very correct service and fair prices! Thanks for the fun afternoon.

Quick service, no hidden charges. Rented the boat without skipper. Restriction not to come closer 200 m to beaches/rocks - claims boat tracked by GPS tracker . Which I doubt, but prudence needs to be exercised.

The best water sports, personal very friendly, perfect prices. I've rent a boat, it was very nice. The area is amazing, very nice beaches that you can visit with their boat. I will visit them next year also.

If you're looking to dive into an unforgettable adventure, look no further than CRETANDIVERS in Agia Pelagia, Crete. This PADI scuba diving center caters to everyone from beginners to seasoned divers, offering a range of stunning dive sites along the picturesque coastline. One highlight is the vibrant marine life near Chania Old Town, perfect for all experience levels.
The most incredible experience of my life! I was respectfully nervous because I knew it would be a new and potentially dangerous (if you don’t do as you’re told!) activity to do but it didn’t take long to feel safe with our guide Pedro, his fiance and his diving instructor friend. We had some time at the beginning to show us what to do including time with the equipment in the “classroom” so we got to know the hand signals and how to breathe using the regulators. We were shown a video and we went to the ocean. All equipment was provided and we went at a pace that was right for us, making sure we were happy before proceeding. As this was a beginners course, we weren’t allowed below 5m depth but there was so much to see! We saw several species of fish including barracudas! Everything was perfect, the lesson, the dive, the instructors. Incredible, highly recommend!!!!
Anne-Marie S — Google review
An absolutely fantastic diving center! Cretan Divers offers top-notch service with excellent equipment and a super friendly, professional staff. A special shoutout to Petrus — not only an outstanding diving instructor but also a brilliant psychologist who knows how to calm your nerves and boost your confidence, whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced diver. His calm presence and deep knowledge made every dive a true pleasure. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a safe, fun, and personalized diving experience in Crete!
Anton G — Google review
Such an incredible experience! Pedros is such a cool guy. Everything was extremely professional from the very beginning to the end. I felt safe during the whole time and enjoyed every minute I spent in a water. It was that good that I decided to book another scuba diving on same holiday!!! Lot's of practical and theoretical knowledge gained. After a short while I felt very confident with what we were doing. This experience gave me lots of beautiful memories which I am going to keep for the rest of my life. Will definitely scuba dive whenever I can. Absolutely love it right now!!! Thank you Pedros and your team. You're all great! ❤️🥳 Prince and Princess 🫣😝
Michał M — Google review
That was the best experience I have ever had! The instructor was professional, very patient (especially with me, cause I am a difficult one🤣) he spent extra time with me practicing how to breath etc. All members of the staff were very polite with great sense of humour. The general experience was amazing! Do not hesitate and book your scuba diving with them ;) Princess xx

Me and my boyfriend booked the Scuba Diving for Beginners course, no prior diving experience. Petros, our instructor lead us through the whole experience with ease and charm and made us feel secure from the beginning. It was an amazing time and after the course we checked immediately, if and how we could get certified to experience even more scuba diving. Thank you Petros and team for showing us the beauty of diving! Hope to be able to dive with you again!
Fabienne K — Google review
Everything about this experience was absolutely amazing. From the start, everyone was calm and patient. I felt safe during the dive and there was no moment where somebody wasn’t watching me or anyone else in the group. The whole experience was made so much more pleasant because of the constant feeling of safety. The dive itself was extremely nice and there was lots of colourful fish to see. Thank you !
Ioana R — Google review
Petros, his wife and all the crew there are just so friendly, professional and just lovely people! At first we were both nervous diving for the first time. They took the time to really explain the do’s and don’ts of diving to make us feel really comfortable. This was one of our holiday highlights and when we come back we’ll definitely be diving again with them. You can clearly see they love what they do.
Tom G — Google review
Our whole family just completed our Open Water Certification with Petros at Cretan Divers, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! Petros was incredibly patient, professional, and encouraging with each of us, making sure everyone felt safe and confident in the water. He has a fantastic way of balancing safety with fun — explaining skills clearly, giving us time to practice, and always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. Learning as a family was such a special experience, and thanks to Petros we all felt fully prepared when it came time for our open water dives. Not only did he give us the knowledge and skills to become certified divers, but he also made the course enjoyable and memorable. We left not only with certifications, but with great family memories and excitement for our next dives together. If you’re looking for a dive instructor in Crete, I can’t recommend Petros and the team at Cretan Divers enough — he made our family’s first step into the diving world truly unforgettable!

Motor Sun offers a friendly and reasonably priced rental service, with a laid-back Greek culture. The process is simple, requiring minimal paperwork and no extensive vehicle checks upon return. Customers have praised the quality of the vehicles, such as 125cc scooters and quads, for their reliability during trips. The staff are described as very gentle and accommodating to English speakers. Additionally, the convenience of delivery and pick-up services at hotels has been highlighted positively.
We rent a good quality 400cc quad from MotorSun company. Like it very much and enjoy our trip in the mountains close of Agia Pelagia village on Crete island. Very good and quick service., thank you.

Unforgettable Quad Safari in Agia Pelagia, Crete – Safe, Scenic, and So Worth It! I recently took part in a quad safari in Agia Pelagia, Crete, and it was an unforgettable experience! Kostas, who assisted with the booking, was friendly and offered us a great price, which made the process easy and pleasant. From the moment we arrived, Andrea, our instructor, made us feel completely at ease. He was incredibly well prepared, provided clear, thorough instructions, and made sure we understood every part of the ride before setting off. His calm, supportive presence was reassuring throughout the journey—he didn’t just guide us technically, but also cared for our emotional comfort, always checking in and making sure we were having fun and felt secure. The tour took us through some of the most beautiful areas of Crete, offering breathtaking scenery and unique, memorable stops. Each location we visited had its own charm, and being able to explore them from a quad added a real sense of adventure. The whole route was well thought out, and every moment felt exciting yet safe. We also stopped at a charming local restaurant – delicious food, friendly atmosphere, and it didn’t cost much either. An unforgettable day! I couldn’t recommend this tour and Andrea enough. It was well worth every penny spent.

Whole day of driving wherever you want with a big powerful 450cc quad for 100 euro is worth it for sure! I highly recommend them, rented and returned quickly and easily. What a fun that was!

I visited Agia Pelagia with my boyfriend, and we rented a car from Motor Sun. It was very well maintained and at a very good price. In the last days of our trip, we also decided to take a private safari. It was quite a surprise. In the beginning, we weren't that sure whether to do it or not, since we never even touched a quad in our lives. But with Andrea’s guidance everything went smoothly. First, we tried the quads to get comfortable with how to use them. Then we started the safari with him leading the way and giving us instructions. He brought us to visit places that we would have never seen by car. He led us safely through all the paths and also took us to some local tavernas to try some typical food. We had an amazing experience. Highly recommended!!

I was ordered a car with an automatic transmission through a travel agency. I received a 10-15 year old car with an empty tank from Motro Sun. The technical condition was average and the power steering stopped working on the return trip. the price for this car was 100€/day !!!! I do not recommend this used car rental company.

Paralia Mononaftis is a charming beach that offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With its stunning bay, it's perfect for swimming and snorkeling, although visitors should be mindful of the rocky seabed—beach shoes are highly recommended to navigate safely. The beach features comfortable sun loungers available for rent, allowing you to relax in style while enjoying bar service right at your spot.
Beautiful little beach. Calm waters. Rocky floor. Beach shoes are a good idea. Sun loungers £10 for the day. Worth every penny in my opinion when you can get bar service to your place on the beach. A few shops, couple of bars and restaurants, all great. I'm returning next year, and can't wait.
Simon W — Google review
Beautiful little beach perfect for swimming and snorkelling. It does get busy, sunbeds all but gone by 10am. Sunbeds €10 for two, really good value. Great taverna and supermarket for food and snacks during the day.
Ralph E — Google review
A peaceful, clean beach with well-priced and comfortable sunbeds. (€10) There are a quite a few bars, stores and souvenir shops conveniently close by - so you can spend a whole day here. Beach shoes highly recommended since there are very slippery rocks in the water.
Rachel L — Google review
Gorgeous little beach in a charming bay. Filled with locals and tourists. Come before 10 AM to snag a pair of sun loungers, will set you back €10. You can pay with card or cash.
Thijs — Google review
Absolutely love this beach, it’s small and not so many sunbeds but when you get one they are comfortable and reasonably cheap we paid €10 for two beds and an umbrella. The beach it’s narrow enough and once in the water the floor of the sea is solid rock which can be a little slippery, but once you know that and act accordingly it’s a joy.. once by the rock bed the floor falls away and you enter deep water, deep beautifully clear and super buoyant water.. it’s such a great place to enjoy a swim, especially very early in the morning. I swam here two ironing just after sunrise and it was one of the great highlights of my stay in Crete. Exceptional place..
Keith B — Google review
An absolutely outstanding beach. Water is crystal clear. Went snorkeling and haven't seen anything like it so close in. Most areas you can stand up but you wouldn't believe your eyes once you break through the waters surface. Wasn't overly busy and plenty of amenities available.
Damian C — Google review
Little beach with a clean water and a nice taverna! Try to come early as the sun beds and even the area to put your towel is limited and you can easily spend whole day here!
