What a gem of a place! We have visited Norderney for a few years now and couldn’t be happier with what the new management have created. Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff and the choices and quality of food were second to none. We had our two young children with us who were welcomed and looked after by all the staff. So lovely. Only a short walk away from the beach and with a playground right at the doorstep. Simply fabulous. We will be back!

In our party we had the schnitzel (delicious), and two wonderful fish dishes. One special over puréed veg with ratatouille. The olive tapenade and bread selection were excellent (as well as a pumpkin seeded option for me). The atmosphere was rustic. The back of the restaurant closest to the beach had a cool fireplace that would be perfect for after dinner drinks. Details were fun, right down to the pony hair placemats. For me the meat in burgers are not yet the best. Breakfast was nice by the way. The most recent visit we had Friesentoast and it’s delish with big piece of steak and like 3,000 pieces of mushrooms on top of 2 toasts. If you love mushrooms and steak which is not flooded in sauce. This has become my favorite menu here.
