Brisighella in 2 days

If you only have 2 days to spend in Brisighella, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Brisighella is a small medieval hill town known for its dramatic setting beneath three rocky peaks topped by a fortress, a clock tower and a sanctuary. Its historic center features narrow lanes, pastel houses and the distinctive covered Via degli Asini, once used by mule drivers. The town is also a spa destination and sits on the edge of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola Regional Park, offering walking paths and countryside views. It makes an easy day trip from Ravenna, Faenza or Bologna while giving a quieter, more traditional slice of Emilia-Romagna.
With favorites like Osteria Pontenono, Ristorante L’Infinito, and Trattoria Croce Daniele, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like L'Osteria di Guercinoro and Trattoria la Casetta so you can get the best taste of Brisighella while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

In the heart of Brisighella's historic center lies Via degli Asini, also known as Donkeys Road or Via del Borgo. This ancient covered street was originally constructed as a defensive structure in the 14th century, featuring half arches and serving military purposes. Later on, it became a route for transporting gypsum from nearby caves using donkeys.
I came across this ancient street on my way to the Clock Tower and I have walked to the end of it. The cobbled street with the stables it was the main street were donkeys were employed in transporting the gypsum from the mines. Now the stables are private homes. Is worth a walk through if you happen to be in Brisighella.

The cuisine at Cantina del Bonsignore is outstanding and receives top accolades across the board. Don't hesitate to pay a visit to this remarkable restaurant for their mouthwatering pasta dishes and friendly customer service.
One of my favorite restaurants in the region. I have dined here numerous times and always had outstanding food, wine and one of the most unique underground dining experiences! I love Brisighella so much, I purchased a property here which just happened to be on the same ancient little street as this restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant, among numerous others in this beautiful village.

Excellent! Really! Tasty bruscetta's, good red housewine, Excellent ragu Bolognese, sublime 'chocolate pie', very friendly staff, fair price, cosy location. The best restaurant experience I've had so far in my 2-week culinary Italy trip. Michelin star-worthy place in my opinion

Truly excellent pasta, paired with the house wine. Salame di ciocolatto on mascarpone was a perfect end to the meal. You will not regret coming here.

Unbelievable place! Two steps down into the bar, a few more down to the subterranean dining area featuring a vaulted ceiling. I come to Italy several times a year and this some of the best service I've had. The food also gets top marks across the board. Don't hesitate, just go!

Torre dell'Orologio is a charming clock tower located in the old town of Brisighella, surrounded by pastel-colored houses and quaint streets. This medieval village is dominated by three rocky pinnacles, where the tower stands alongside Rocca Manfrediana and Santuario del Monticino. The area's picturesque setting in the Valle del Lamone, nestled between Florence and Ravenna, adds to its fairy tale-like ambiance.
It was worth the climb to the top as you are rewarding with some amazing views of the village, valley and the castle on the opposite hill. On the day of our visit the clock tower was closed. The sunset it was great too.
Angie O — Google review
One of the three towers in Brisighella on top of hills. This is the clock tower from the XIXth century, with great views to the city. You can also enter it, and the clock displays Ora Italica (goes from one to six, not twelve).
Julia B — Google review
A spectacles point of view. Definitely worth every step up.

The place is beautiful, but it was not possible to go inside because it was closed. Climbing here is worth it for the incredibly beautiful views of the city from the height of this hill.

Such a nice view! From that point you can see the whole city and the castle that's opposite to it, it's worthy the walk 😁
Juli L — Google review
If you're in Brisighella, take a walk up to the clock tower for great views across to the castle on the next hill, and also views of the village below. Highly recommended.

I went to Carletto Cafe Gelateria And Food where I had a drink. The host was very friendly and offered a tasty platter to snack on. They have an excellent selection of gelato and ice cream sundaes as well. A friend suggested visiting Brisighella and trying the ice cream from this establishment, which turned out to be delicious. The local ice cream comes in a wide range of flavors, making it convenient for those in a hurry.
We visited this cafe three times during our stay in Brisighella. Once for gelato, once for coffee and the final time for aperitivo. It has a great location with outside seating in a park environment. Prices are reasonable. The young woman who served us on all three occasions was friendly and helpful, despite language barriers.

Overall it was very good! As a starter I had scallops with beetroot, roasted bacon crumbs and a lovely fresh mouse. After the tenderloin (filetto di Manzo), almost perfect. The meat was great, but just a little more towards well done than medium. I would have liked it between medium and rare. The preparation of the vegetables and the sauce was perfect. The wine (Siresol rosso veneto 2017) was a top combination for me. I wasn't planning on having dessert, but given the quality of the other dishes I couldn't resist. The dessert was called: “Loveria valrhona”, on the advice of the waitress… It was bad for the body, but great for your brain. The service was very pleasant, the young lady was honest and adequate (I would have liked to pay earlier though, but then you are expected to walk to the cash register yourself). By the way, the young lady looks like a real Italian movie star, which fits well with the setting of the restaurant. All in all, the quality and the atmosphere exceed the price and expectations. Simply very very good.

We shared the polpo antipasto. It was yummy, but the octopus was chewy. This is a difficult protein, so we just enjoyed the flavor. Then we shared the passatelli with Parmesan cream and truffles. It was delicious. Then for the secondi’s I had the pork cheek and my wife had the veal. While both were good, the sauces were so salty, we had to work to get the meat out of the sauces. This just should not happen. All sauces should be tasted by the chef.

Just you look at that! Tastes as good as it looks. Beautiful place, fantastic menu, great staff! Update on spring menu 2019 - just perfect - as expected.

Very interesting interior which is the real Grotta but that’s it. Very stuffy and high humidity on the upper level so it’s hard to breath there. The food - nothing special. The poached egg with asparagus and truffle was just the watery boiled egg (my homemade one is more delicious, to be honest) with a piece of asparagus and some slices of truffle with no truffle aroma; absolutely insipid; wanted to salt it but there was no salt on the table. No menu in English. Gonna use google translator? - Good luck, if your mobile internet is available there. WiFi? Sure, it’s available only if you register with the Facebook. This is definitely not the place I will ever visit again, sorry.

Lovely dinner experience at L’Osteria de Guercinoro. The server was knowledgeable and between her English and my Italian we had a great dinner. We started with the cured meat platter. So good. Then we shared the Ragù, which was the highlight of the dinner. We then shared the grilled porchini special. Sitting outside, enjoying dinner, the wine and trying to converse with locals made for an excellent evening.

Best meal we had in our 10 days in Italy. We were sent here by our hotel and it was such a wonderful experience. The cave is so cool and authentic, the lady who handles all the front of house is such a truly lovely person. But the food won the day, the bolognese was easily the best I have ever had in my life - so simple yet so flavorful. The steak with radicchio on top was unique and delicious.
Tom A — Google review
This is probably best described as a boutique restaurant that serves wholesome, seasonal food with ingredients sourced from the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The steak was exceptional. The lasagne made with a local blue-like cheese and pumpkin was noteworthy. There are only about ten tables - it would be wise to make a reservation than expect a table by just turning up. There was also only one person serving the dining room when we were there. While it did not bother us, it might be worth noting that you are unlikely to have a quick meal or constant attention. Best to go with the flow and have a languid evening.

The hostess made sure that we felt welcomed and she took her time to explain the Italian menu to us. The food itself was very delicious and it felt like we had found a hidden gem in Brisighella. Make sure to get a reservation beforehand because it will be booked out quickly!

Nestled in the charming town of Brisighella, Trattoria la Casetta is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This delightful eatery specializes in traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist, showcasing handmade pasta crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Diners rave about their extensive selection of first courses, often ordering multiple dishes to savor the rich flavors and authentic recipes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal with friends or family.
We have fallen in love with this restaurant as the food it was tasty, delicious and fresh. We liked everything that we have tried here. The service it was attentive, and the prices was very reasonable. We were very surprised to see the restaurant full and locals were waiting for a table midweek, but with tasty and fresh food is understandable.

Very popular restaurant, it seemed because lots of people came in to eat while we were there. Good food and service. They started by giving us some normal bread but then immediately gave us some fried pizza bread that was so so good! We killed them immediately. I had barbecued ribs that were very good but a tad fatty. It came with red cabbage that was really good too. My wife had steak which she said was excellent. I can recommend this establishment when in Brisighella.

Very popular with friendly and hardworking servers. Food was amazing and well priced. One drink we ordered never came, but they were very busy. Service was slow due to this (understaffing maybe??) but if you’re in no rush, this is a lovely lovely place to eat and relax.

Good overall, but the portions are a bit small, or maybe ive been too hungry. The waiter with beard and glasses is a very polite gentleman. Best thing to call for reservation before arrival.

Fabulous food! Been traveling around Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna region in the past couple of weeks, trying many great restaurant. When it comes to first courses ("Primi") La casetta sits a notch above all. My wife and I started ordering 3 first courses and ended up ordering 2 more. That's 5 pastas in two! Why? Recipes are traditional, however many with a modern twists, ingredients used are strictly local and pastas are all handmade. Pro-tip: pastas are all good but filled pasta (ravioli, tortelli, cappellacci etc..) are on a different level.

We picked the set menu, 25€ per person. It was so much food. Starting with the selections of aperitif such as gnoccofrito and charcuteries and squacquerone. Then choice of 2 pastas, we picked spaja larda and tagliatelle ragu. The spaja larda is very tasty and interesting. The meat we picked grigliata mista and grilled pork. They were well over cooked and dry. Dessert selection was okay.

(Translated by Google) The Restaurant: we are in Via Naldi 20, in the heart of the historic center of Brisighella. A very central and privileged position. Among the cobbled streets, stretches of city walls, stairs carved in chalk, we are in the soul of the citadel, right next to the ancient Via del Borgo better known as “Via degli Asini” for the shelter it offered to the carters' animals... an elevated and covered road, illuminated by arches of different sizes. Unique in the world! The history: Chef Massimo Mazzoni and Chiara Conti opened the restaurant 12 years ago, gradually renovating what once seemed to be an "anarchist center". Legend or truth? The environment: the spaces are typical of a small and delightful village tavern immersed in the wonderful hills of Romagna. A pleasant, intimate and slightly vintage place, made up of two small but characteristic rooms, one old and one modern, very particular in the furnishings. To get tables in the old room it would be better to book in advance, since it is small and reserved for candlelit lunches and dinners. The confidential and friendly approach of the managers also gives a rustic flavor to everything. This is an osteria, not a restaurant! The cuisine: it is the Romagna cuisine, exquisite and genuine. We are talking about zero-mile cuisine! Massimo Mazzoni, an imaginative and creative chef, prepares very interesting menus, always attentive to the seasonality of the products and the strong bond that they must have with the territory. The proposals range from Mora Romagnola cured meats to fillet wrapped in lard and grilled, from Tortelli with buckwheat flour seasoned with braised roe deer with Sangiovese, bay leaves, cherry tomatoes and Brisighella DOP oil, and there are also dishes based on truffles, both white and black, and porcini mushrooms. To start off with a bang, Chiara presents us with a rich appetizer served in an original way; we have two crostini with black and white truffle, marinated anchovies, baby carrots, salad and fresh fruit. The presentation surprises me, as does the taste. I am immediately struck by the scent of truffle, its flavor is unmistakable and in contrast to the intense saltiness of the anchovy; the fruit and vegetables give a touch of freshness. Let's move on to the first course: fresh pasta ravioli with delicious Moretti artichokes, and a side dish of purple cabbage, dried tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and burrata. The exquisiteness of the Emilian ravioli is indescribable, cooked to perfection, and the combination with the burrata and onion is excellent, the crunchiness of the cabbage and the acidity of the tomato. A second course also arrives, a bean soup with sausage. The strong flavor is old school, "very strong". Laughing with the chef, we tell ourselves that this is a dish for real men! What we liked the most: definitely Chiara and Massimo! Beyond what we ate, which was all delicious, we met two precious people, who put so much love into the business they created and watched grow. Chiara has an exuberant and engaging character, Massimo is a force! He is full of talent. Two such special people that we spent time chatting happily even after dinner. In short, it is true that this place is very famous in the village for its piadinas, first courses, game, soups, creams, wines... but the friendliness and friendliness of the owners are undoubtedly additional ingredients! Final judgment: a small corner of typical and rare gastronomy, in the center of the beautiful village of Brisighella. An osteria where you can stop to break the hunger while enjoying the local cuisine. The food is excellent and prepared on the spot, and Chiara is also very attentive to the preferences and intolerances of the customer. An ideal gastronomic break for those in search of emotions lost in time. Il sapore deciso è vecchia scuola, "very strong".

When I arrived in town, all the eateries were shuttered. However, I stumbled upon a humble establishment called Bruschetteria "TORRE". Despite its simplicity, this place offers scrumptious and sizable bruschetta along with various delectable dishes. The two ladies who attended to us were incredibly kind-hearted. Not only was the food excellent, but the staff was also warm and welcoming.
We came to town and all restaurants were closed. This place is simple, but their bruschetta are tasty(and large in size), as well as other dishes. Two ladies that served us were so very sweet.

The people who run the restaurant are heartwarming, you don’t only get an authentic Italian food experience but also become happy thinking these kind of beautiful places still exist 😊 Pro tip: Have a coffee after the meal, they have the best espresso I’ve ever had in Italy!

Amazing little family run restaurant in Brisighella. The staff were, friendly, attentive and clearly stayed open longer than they were going to fit us in for lunch. The pasta we both had was absolutely delicious!

Interesting, if dated, place to eat. The staff were very friendly, even though they didn’t speak a word of English they really made us feel welcome. The food was decent enough, as the name suggests their main offering is bruschetta, with a few other dishes thrown into the mix. Overall, this was an interesting insight into Italy outside of the major towns and tourist areas.

Day 2

Center of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the center side of town. Start the day off with Rocca Manfrediana e Veneziana, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Ca' Di Malanca. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Castle
Rocca Manfrediana e Veneziana is a historical fortress with two distinct sections: the Venetian Tower, dating back to the 16th century, and the Torricino from 1300. It was constructed by two different families, the Manfredi and the Venetians. The site has been well-preserved through continuous restoration efforts, making it one of the best-maintained military castles in the region.
Even when we knew that the castle it was closed we still walked up to admire it close up, and it was worth it. The views were absolutely breath taking to the valley, village and further a field.

Castle closed = no probs! Still 100% worth for the views themselves, truly stunning and that's why we should visit the places to simply enjoy them 5/5!

I got in love with this town! You have many little caffes and restaurants in town. Some little shops, little park in the city center. And all that is under the castle! When you will climb to the castle you will be rewarded with amazing views. If weather will let you, you will be able to see Ravenna and Adriatic sea from top pf the castle! If you love hiking, there are many different hiking tracks. You can choose from short distance to long distance. From time to time town organizes city events, from cycling races, to historical rally cars visit. Really highly recomended place on your way, or going from Florence!

La Lanterna is a cozy and private eatery managed by a family. Guests are warmly welcomed with politeness and elegance. The delectable dishes are beautifully presented, boasting rich flavors. The staff members demonstrate exceptional hospitality and friendliness, creating an atmosphere akin to a delightful family gathering. Situated in the charming historic center of Brisighella, La Lanterna enjoys a unique location near the renowned Via degli Asini.

Small restaurant but very good food! Fast service and kind staff. I ordered the fritto misto and loved how the shrimp were fried without their shells, so no peeling necessary! Wife’s fish dish was very delicious too. Can highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in Brisighella. Oh, can’t forget the excellent chocolate cake with mascarpone at the end of the meal!! Very well done. Most likely will stop in again another night.

Our first night in Brisighella and La Lanterna did not disappoint. The seafood was delicious and the staff were friendly and helped us along with our poor Italian. We shared the scallops(off menu) and shared the spaghetti with clams and the gnocchi with shrimp. All delicious along with a wine recommendation from the staff. It is small, reserve early. But so good!

In a prime location, Ristorante L'Infinito offers a relaxed and enjoyable evening with meticulously prepared food. The diverse menu consists of delicious and beautifully presented dishes that are both balanced and excellent in quality. The restaurant's wine selection is also commendable. (Translated by Google) Describing this splendid restaurant in just a few words is very difficult, because it is not enough to give an opinion on the food, environment and service to give an idea of how beautiful it is to dine here. It was a real treat! The place is very well looked after, in a beautiful position in this unique village that is Brisighella. Simple and elegant tables. Splendid plating, with the right quantities that fill you up without making you come out bloated and weighed down. Very high quality of food both in terms of ingredients and preparation, with traditional dishes such as passatelli or polenta, but expertly cooked to make them tasty and unique. Resounding value for money, it's now hard to eat a simple pizza for less than you would for a full dinner here. And the best robiola cake I have ever tried, combined with the company of the chef who cheered me up by telling me his recipes and many pleasant anecdotes... Thank you for this beautiful evening!

(Translated by Google) I had dinner at this restaurant following the recommendation of another restaurant in the area. The restaurant is located at the end of a staircase, in a strategic position. During the day it will certainly offer a breathtaking view, in the evening you can enjoy the environment. We were welcomed very well despite the early time (7pm) and the request for gluten free dishes. The feeling is that of being in a refined and superior class environment. We chose to taste two second courses, two side dishes and a dessert. We chose the rabbit dish and the wild boar dish with a side dish of roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables. The sensation is that of being in front of first choice ingredients prepared in a masterful way. Attention to detail is fundamental but this one still winks at quantity (which is important). The only note (my personal thought not shared by my dinner companion) is the feeling of stringiness of the meat, a little dry. The potatoes and vegetables are good. For dessert, however, we chose pear pudding. Again, a sublime and well-balanced dish, not sweet. Note: I didn't like the slice of pear with the peel as well as the cream at the base which was perhaps a little too liquid. It must be added that we were offered a small welcome appetizer consisting of cauliflower cream soup with croutons. Excellent. Also offered are pastries served with coffee. Attentive, precise, present, kind and helpful staff. Relaxing environment, soft music and customers with an appropriate tone of voice. Complete menu with all the allergens present in the dishes (possibility of gluten-free but without AIC certification). Absolutely super bathrooms. Price: around 30 euros per person for a second course with side dish, water, half dessert, service, cover charge and coffee. For me it is recommended, prices perhaps a little high but still in line with the places in the area. Super atmosphere and staff, excellent food with some (personal) flaws.

(Translated by Google) As infinite as the waiting times I don't give a star because the service staff in the dining room don't deserve it, but I have to admit that the cuisine deeply disappointed me. I will try to narrate what was served to us, my wife ordered a caramelized onion as a starter and was served half an onion... followed by a chicken breast with thigh and it was really tiny. I chose a fillet of sea bass and in my opinion it was truly bland and did not have an inviting appearance, furthermore the artichokes offered had nothing to do with the beautiful moretti artichokes found in this season in Brisighella, furthermore the portion offered was really very small. My mother-in-law opted for the roasted lamb and I have to admit it looked good. As for the desserts, my wife's was well presented, while the one my mother-in-law ordered was a dollop of cream with a handful of strawberries…. . Ultimately, an experience that didn't excite me, also due to the very long wait to have lunch.

The Pieve di Tho, a parish church constructed during the 8th and 10th centuries AD in the Lamone valley, lies along the path leading to Fiesole. This remarkable structure showcases remnants of Romanesque architecture and medieval frescoes. It houses a renovated crypt that, regrettably, has been stripped of its original decorations. Additionally, within a stunning natural backdrop, stands an impressive Romanesque basilica—an ideal venue for concerts.

The establishment includes a specially designed structure to accommodate pilgrims and wayfarers. Some sleeping arrangements consist of bunk beds with only nets and no mattresses. Personally I did it both by MTB (up to Colla) and on foot On path 505 from Faenza to Colla, Ca'Malanca is located in the middle In the meadows surrounding Ca' Malanca there are various tables where you can stop to eat your packed lunch Near Ca' Malanca there are other paths such as the 579 which reaches Purocielo to the church, with a walking time easily under 2 hours On the road that goes from Brisighella towards Marradi, there is a clearly indicated crossroads for Ca' Malanca, the road is unpaved for a good 6 km so decide whether to continue by car based on the car you have, personally I prefer on foot. From the dirt road, after about 2 km, there is a path on the left (not marked and not numbered), it passes through the woods and turns upwards returning to the higher road, at the crossroads between path 579 at the point where it is possible to continue towards Ca'Malanca or Puro Cielo (Original) Luogo tranquillo e immerso nella natura Situato nelle colline Romagnole tra Fognano e Marradi, più precisamente sopra a San Martino in Gattara É adibito anche a museo per ricordare i Partigiani deceduti nella battaglia di Purocielo del 1944. For me, one of the most excellent hotels I have ever seen. A working community and beautiful service. Something worthy of a beautiful Romagna hotel. A piece of Italy in a building. Simply beautiful. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Without a doubt, a place I recommend visiting if you go to Italy<3

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant - a group of 15 people on a bicycle tour. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and specious rooms. Daniele and his family had prepared a fantastic dinner based on local ingredients and paired it with some wines from the district. Long story short, everything was super good and service was excellent. Many thanks for your hospitality and memorable stay.

My wife and I enjoyed our time immensely! The staff and family were more than friendly and kind. When first checking in the owner even gave her parking space to us (I was floored by her kindness). The breakfast was solid and the restaurant was a nice and good value. I highly recommend the hotel.

My mother and I spend a nice 3 days in this lovely place and let me tell you it was just the most amazing, wonderful and beautiful experience! I mean the views were beautiful and all but I think what made the stay even better is knowing the host himself(and owner) made our experience all more enjoyable and memorable for that I owe him special thanks!🙏 The rooms were very confortable and bathrooms were very clean. I enjoyed the fact that this Hotel was located in the middle of a very wonderful and walkable area that have many nice local shops ( I would check what time they open and close though) La Rocca also has a wonderful restaurant which is again run by the owner himself! I also Definitely recommend visiting La Rocca Terrace.. the view there was something else, truly. The food, the atmosphere, the nature, truly it was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and would come again.

We were in Brisighella for a wedding. The staff and the manager were very helpful throughout our stay extending their services and kindness to beyond our 2-day stay into organising our stay in Florence. The room was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and clean. The food at breakfast and lunch was both fresh and tasty. We highly recommend this hotel.

The Albergo La Rocca is a great property. It is in a great location in the heart of the quaint village of Brisighella. It has been well decorated with a strong aesthetic vision that one might describe as modern minimalist white with accents of ochre. It is staffed with people who are friendly. The rooms are reasonably priced (and might have been recently refurbished), and the restaurant serves good dishes. There’s a terrace and sun deck on the rooftop with views.

(Translated by Google) Excellent food, excellent desserts, friendly owner and kind service... Vintage location... parking nearby, prices have increased, but like all restaurants, and still good😉 ... definitely worth trying! Really good! (Original) Ottimo cibo, ottimi dolci, proprietaria cordiale e servizio gentile... Davvero buono!

(Translated by Google) A nice place to eat good dishes (unfortunately some more than others). Discreet service, all surrounded by biblical times between one meal and another. I don't think I would go back if I could. PS: they made a mistake in giving us the receipt and we had to go back to have it corrected.

(Translated by Google) Decent first courses, the ragù was good but too watered down for my tastes. Good grilled meat but too toasted (almost charred), but that day there was no waitress and the owner did everything herself, from the cash register to the service to the cooking, I probably would have eaten better on another day.

(Translated by Google) Excellent experience for the food and the friendliness of the managers. Booked the fish menu offered on Tippest and we were all really satisfied with the delicious dishes we consumed. A quality that cannot be taken for granted with excellent quality wine from a local winery. Well done! Highly recommended! Bravi! Consigliatissimo!

(Translated by Google) Truly a tavern, the room is created from the back of a bar, with few seats. The fresh pasta produced directly by the girl who runs the place. Simple but very tasty dishes. The commitment to managing the place and satisfying customers is notable. Good. Brava. Certamente ritorno per assaggiare qualche altro piatto

(Translated by Google) We booked for the classic theme evening. The place is warm and welcoming. The menu was rich in flavors and with attention to detail, excellent. Do not underestimate the bill which resulted perfectly within the quality-price range. Molto consigliato

(Translated by Google) Having lunch with a Tippest coupon, we chose the fish menu. The fried gnocco (offered as a starter and not included in the menu), the starter and the first course were excellent, the rest was nothing special. Negative notes: over 45 minutes of waiting despite the reservation, non-existent service (we cleared the table ourselves and took bread and grated cheese ourselves), only one appetizer served differently from what was written and lack of possibility to choose between the two desserts included in the menu . So overall sufficient but we won't be returning.

Trattoria Croce Daniele is a longstanding establishment that never disappoints, offering a diverse and delectable menu. Though the climb to reach it may be time-consuming, the ultimate reward of delicious food makes it worth every effort. From appetizers to desserts, their dishes are consistently excellent, including mouthwatering starters, satisfying main courses featuring various meats and sides. The restaurant's charming setting also boasts an impressive view.
Absolutely fantastic fare and very nice staff, I did not pay but the prices on the menu seemed reasonable. Very good vino sfuso as well.

(Translated by Google) Trattoria in the middle of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines. I recommend the 35 euro menu with starters, three first courses of your choice, roast with potatoes and dessert (drinks included). Among the first to mention are the potato tortelli and the spoia gross with radicchio and bacon. The roast lamb is really good. Friendly staff and quick service. For the effort it takes to get there in the end it's really worth it. (Original) Trattoria in mezzo all'appennino tosco romagnolo.

(Translated by Google) The cold cuts are very good, the first courses are exceptional, as are the roasts. The mascarpone is also delicious. The service is typical of a trattoria, and the prices are average (I recommend the set menu for a good value). I will definitely be back.
