Ski resort
Sessellift La Crusc is a modern cable car located in the Dolomites, offering heated cabins and stunning views of the surrounding valleys. It provides access to iconic sights such as the Church of Santa Croce (La Crusc) and the Armentara Meadows. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking landscapes and vibrant greenery, making it an unforgettable experience for relaxation and nature appreciation.
Made our way to the top, theres a small church and café there as well. Take not last transport down is at 415. Really enjoyed the view and staff were kind and polite throughout the rides.
Felix K — Google review
A convenient lift, new cabins, beautiful views from the route. When changing to the second section, you need to get off and go to the second lift (don't throw away your ticket!). At the top, there is a beautiful church and an atmospheric pub. Just in case, there is also a helicopter landing pad :)
Daniel G — Google review
This small ski area is really nice as a d-tour from the main resorts along the Sella Ronda. It is basically only one 3-km piste of the La Crusc area, although very nice piste and top with the church to visit. So 2-3 hours including stops maximum. The same ski area as your accommodation base is not recommended, since Badia village is not ideally located for the Alta Badia and greater Sella Ronda ski area. Everyday you will spend at the least the first and last half hour to fully get into the main ski area and back. In that sense La Villa, and especially Corvara and Colfosco are much better located. Also Badia is very limited in restaurants, bars and shops.
Pedro P — Google review
It is a wonderful lift and a beautiful place to hike in the Dolomites. Nice church at the top of the lift that is very important in this area. We came in the summer and there are a number of hikes that you can take from the top of the lift (or hike your way up to the top of the lift and then take it down or hike down. We did the Santa Croce Sanctuary walk as a “recovery” hike after five long and difficult hikes. The lift itself was great - new, clean, well run and easy to buy tickets and take. The only reason we do not give it 5 stars is because there are just so many magnificent places to hike in the Dolomites, the area around this lift would not be our first choice - but it served our purpose and we really enjoyed the hike.
Andrew K — Google review
One of my favourite cable cars/chairlifts in the area. The open chairlift is comfortable and the views are amazing.

Incredible experience. Breathtaking landscapes, every corner of this place brings you emotions. Relaxing trip and memorable stay. Lots of nature. Greenery so vivid and views so incredible that they seem surreal. It is an experience that everyone should have and repeat. It is very beneficial for relaxation.

Lalunch lake, a small body of water surrounded by pristine nature and tranquility, lies in the presence of the majestic Sasso della Croce. The breathtaking landscape captivates visitors with its stunning beauty, although the water quality may not rank among the finest. Despite this, Lalunch lake offers picturesque scenery that mesmerizes all who visit this enchanting tourist attraction.
Beautiful scenery.

(Translated by Google) The name "Lake" is an overstatement of a swamp, because that's what it is. We visited Lake Sompunt, starting from Badia, and then, following the trail, we reached Lake Lunch. The signage disappears in the last stretch of the trail, so you have to go by intuition. Then, arriving, you'll be amazed, and you'll feel like you're on "JACKERS APART."

(Translated by Google) Not overcrowded, in the middle of the forest. The route is well signposted and is also suitable for beginners equipped with suitable shoes (Original) Nicht überlaufen, mitten im Wald. Strecke ist gut ausgeschildert und auch für, mit geeigneten Schuhen ausgerüstete, Anfänger geeignet
Patricia D — Google review
(Translated by Google) More than a lake, a marshy wasteland. The path to get there from Sompunt is far from simple as the maps indicate, and, worst of all, the descent towards Badia is closed by order of the municipality which is so diligent in imposing fines but does not have the intelligence to indicate the closure at the start of the trail from Sompunt. So whoever arrives at this swamp is then forced to retrace his steps - without eating because there are no refreshment points - tripling the distance.

Apres Ski La Munt is a fantastic place for both apres-ski and dining. The venue offers great beverages, enjoyable music, and a delightful ambiance. As a restaurant, it is remarkable with its simple yet elegant decoration and impeccable service provided by the friendly staff. The menu boasts delicious food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended are the exquisite tartars, including beef and fish options, as well as the harmonious combination of pea soup with shrimps.
Very nice atmosphere, polite peoples, very tasty food, the service begin at 08.00 o'clock in the morning, coffe excelent, the best tiramisu from Italy and the best goulash soup in the region.

A great place for Apres Ski. Super nice interior, cozy and warm. 5m from the slope. Food was excellent as was the service good. For us much better than many other places e.g. in Austria. Well run and friendly!!! Just see the Schlutzkrapfen ; )

The food was delicious and the prices are really good.I recommend the tartars the beef and the fish one are excellent and the peas soup with the shrimps was a perfect combination. The carpaccio was so good as well. And of course we couldn’t leave without dessert, we had the tiramisu, erdbeeren with vanilla sauce and the chestnut semifreddo. which were all delicious.

A real gem in Badia. Right at the bottom of the main slope. Great place for a drink after skiing and even in covid times fantastic ‘apres-ski’ vibes and great music. Incredibly friendly landlady and a very well run bar. Have been in a lot of a different ski resorts and never found such a great end of piste bar. We will return!

Came for dinner in the apres ski restaurant. It is 5/10 for food. We had some good items such as the goulash and orzo soup. The main courses we ordered such as the pastas, burger and the lamb were average. One pasta came out too aldente. Service was friendly although a plate of pasta was forgotten and came after the rest of the 4 plates came out. Would not go back.

Bar Ariston is a highly attractive and pleasantly quaint pizzeria where the staff exudes warmth and friendliness. The pizzas are delectable, offering exceptional taste without being overly expensive, alongside an equally satisfying salad option. This establishment stands out as a great choice for dining on Sunday evenings when limited options are available. The pizza itself is of high quality, complemented by an excellent selection of house wine. While not extravagant in ambiance, the overall dining experience at Bar Ariston leaves customers content.
It's probably the best pizza i ever had. Thin and crispy dought with delicious toppings. Works over the day, which is rare in this area. Quick service and very friendly stuff. 👌

Holiday apartment
Maso Runch Hof is a laid-back farmstay offering airy apartments with kitchens and balconies. The cozy restaurant serves simple yet elevated farmhouse cuisine, featuring dishes like ravioli, pork knuckles, local fish, and barley soup prepared with excellent ingredients and seasoned to perfection. The rustic and quaint atmosphere adds to the dining experience, making it a must-visit for those looking to savor traditional Ladin cuisine in a comfortable setting.
Great local restaurant. Extremely friendly staff! Good wine selection and good prices! Mickey is a very professional waitress. Thanks and see you soon!
Bojan P — Google review
During my recent visit to Maso Runch, I had an outstanding dining experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect mood for a great meal. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. I especially enjoyed [mention a specific dish you liked, e.g., the homemade pasta or grilled meat], which was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted homemade and authentic. The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made excellent recommendations and ensured that everything was to my liking. My food arrived promptly, and I never felt rushed or ignored. Overall, I highly recommend Maso Runch to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for a casual meal or a special night out, this place delivers on both quality and service. I will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been coming to this area on holiday for years, and I still keep finding new foodie gems. Maso Runch Hof is a cozy, traditional spot serving authentic local specialties. The food is super tasty and beautifully presented. Definitely worth a visit – just make sure you book ahead, or you might leave hungry 😜.

We had a woanderfull time at Maso Runch. The apartment we stayed in was grate. The hospitality of the family that owns the place was outstanding. The food from the on site restaurant is delicious. You get fresh eggs and milk from the farm, warm bread delivery to the room in the morning. The views are wonderfull and the atmosphere is so relaxing. If you come with kids there are many activities they can enjoy at the farm, like pating the animals, playing around the endless well taken care off yard. Highĺy recomend this place !!!

We had a spectacular dinner Set menu, they do those things and they do that to perfection Flavours were outstanding Portions challenging to finish even without the refill (that was always offered - and often accepted 🙃) Then the staff, just lovely and authentic to the maximum 5 stars without any doubts and first restaurant we’ll book once back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nicolò S — Google review
Wonderful traditional farm to table meal, served with care and love from a local family. You are served a selection of local dishes (decided by the chef), complimented by a good selection of wines.
Nick W — Google review
We had dinner here as part of a Duvine tour. In a trip full of great food, this place stood out. The food here is simple - you’re not getting anything covered in foam, or carefully arranged on your plate with tweezers, or decorated with emulsions - think ravioli, pork knuckles and ribs, local fish, and barley soup. It’s the type of food you’d expect in a farmhouse, but elevated to a place of gastronomic delight. The ingredients are excellent, and they are prepared and seasoned perfectly. There are excellent local wines to have with the food. The service is friendly, attentive and capable. Maso Rünch Hof is worth going out of your way if you find yourself within 100 km of San Cassiano.
Alan B — Google review
What a place, this is a true gem! They have a fix menu and everything they bring is simply fantastic, maybe a bit heavy, but this is typical winter food! The service was also top notch and the owner offered us some additional ribs once we were done! The location is also very nice and it's a very old place. Just go here of you want to enjoy some fantastic typical food!

I found the disneyWorld style extra queuing lanes annoying and often risky due to the icy ground. They were only necessary for an hour or 2 in the mornings but were left in place full time. Other than that: great lift.
U B — Google review
Edit 4-1-2022: finally, they are using waiting lines. Still short and chaotic in begining of line with plenty of space for improvement, but nevertheless already a bit better than before. Gondola get stuffed with People. Really no idea why it stays so 'random'. Original message: Absolute the worst chaos. No waiting line, no distance, no guidance. There are acres of space to make room for responsible distance waiting, but obvious choice is made for cash from parking places. This is the best example one could fear for closing of Lifts because of ignorance or incompetence (and i'm a fervent fanatic skier !!!)
