Water park
Day spa
Hungarospa Aquapark is a popular water park in Hajduszoboszlo, offering a variety of swimming pools and thrilling water slides suitable for all ages. Despite some areas showing signs of age, the park provides an exciting and adventurous experience for families and thrill-seekers alike. Visitors can enjoy numerous pools, including a spacious swimming pool with fewer crowds, making it ideal for adults without children.
Large area with pools, tickets for the pools and the water park separately, different areas, you can buy food and drinks on the territory and there is also a booth with water toys

This place was dated. I expected much more than that. On the pictures it looks much better than in reality. Food is expensive and way bellow average. Basic entrance fee is €20 per person. I was very disappointed.
Jaroslav G — Google review
Nice experience, definitely book a stay for at least 2 or 3 days so you can experience everything. Food prices are good, the entry fee is not that high, so you should visit this place.
Vetesy — Google review
23-25 July 2022 There would be so much to say about this amazing place... But the short version... Cheap for what it offers, crowded but still not crowded somehow, clean, fun, cool vibe, lots of activities. Fantastic place. Payment cash/card for almost everything (the mini-golf course, was cash only and the boat ride can be paid with card only the at the info booth right across the bridge from the boats)
Florea C — Google review
The greatest times are gone long time ago. Complicated system of tickets, the person in the ticket box doesn't speak English enough to explain it. Aqua park paid extra, pools are totally cold in the end of June. There is only one small thermal pool in area of Aqua park with warm water. If you are not a child who's enjoying the slides no matter how faded they look, there's nothing to do. Also, it's not clean.
Aneta K — Google review
Best water slide offer in Hungary. There are 20 slides in 3 groups (cool, pro, extreme). Waiting time average 1-5 mins / slide, absolutely not annoying. The huge field is full of water-activities and pools. Stuff is professional and helpful. Service / catering are over expectations. 4 stars based on the western European price-rate. Family with 2 children can spend some hundreds of euros easily in a day. But worth trying and start early! ;)
Csaba K — Google review
The entry price is already expensive, not to mention that 70% of the activities inside require you to pay extra. The slides also close after August 31st, which is really dumb, since early September is still summer. Workers were also pretty rude. Wave pool is way too cold and only operates like 4 times per day for 5-7 min each time. After playing around in a big pool, our feet were colored blue and hurt badly. Pretty disappointing experience overall.
Nenad T — Google review
The worst experience ever. Very expensive (120 euros for entry for 2 adults+2kids), dirty pools, entire area looks like nobody did any maintenance for years. There is no grass around, wet feet creates mud all over the place. Food areas dirty and low quality of the food. The sunbeds are dirty and worn out. The acces system go broken and we had to wait first half our to get the tickets and again more then 20 minutes to acces the slides area. The lifeguards are some bored teens with probably no safeguard experience. Do not waste your time and money here!

Fordított ház is a unique and fun tourist attraction where everything is upside down. Visitors can explore the house and experience the disorienting feeling of being inside an upside-down structure. It's recommended to have cash for entry as only cash payments are accepted. The visit typically lasts around 10-30 minutes, depending on whether you're with kids or not. Keep in mind that English or Hungarian may not be spoken by the staff at the reception desk.
Nice house to visit :) All the things are up inside the house and the fact that has an angle of the floor makes you deezy after a couple of minutes :))
Bogdan . — Google review
Interesting, but very short program. There were some smaller mistakes inside, especially the position of pictures on the wall, but it was a good experience. I paid 1900 ft, on the website was 1700 (there is no possibility to buying tickets), not a big difference but not correct.
Ágnes H — Google review
Didn't really seem worth it. With the ticket price (again, you can only pay in cash!!), it would be better to visit the town museum for sure. Much more interesting and enriching. I understand though that perhaps with children, to do something different, it may still be a site to see once in town. There's advertising about it everywhere, so you can't really miss it, even if it is outside the town centre.
Giulia — Google review
It was fun place to visit! You need to make sure you have cash with you because that's the only way you can lay to get in. My kids and I we spent a good 30 minutes there to explore it. But without kids would have been 15 min. Enjoy it's fun!

(Translated by Google) An incredibly extensive and diverse collection! Tractors, cars, tractors, motorbikes, tractors, old gadgets and gadgets, tractors and curiosities. I've already mentioned the tractors :-D Well, yes, there are most of them, but I recommend it not only to those who are hooked on agricultural machinery (I think it's a must for them), but also to all those who are even a little interested in petrol/diesel technology. The entrance fee is surprisingly cheap and the welcome is very pleasant. The owner is happy to tell you about the objects, but he doesn't force himself on us, he lets us look around freely and here you can get lost in the things to stare at for hours or even a whole day. The only drawback is that the accumulated things are crying out for exhibition space ten times over, so the place is quite crowded...

(Translated by Google) Machine shop - Exhibition of technical, transport and agricultural equipment in Hajdúszoboszló "The idea behind the exhibition is attributed to József Mogyorós, who gathered all the oldtimer cars, motorcycles, bicycles, agricultural machines and other household items displayed in the museum under one mantelpiece. The collection of these "treasures" began in the 1980s, and the number of antiques owned by József Mogyorós kept growing over the years. Hajdúszlói Géptár hides many treasures, which are rarely found nowadays, organized into different topics. Among the items in the museum's exhibitions are also rarities of vehicles that were saved from being crushed and melted as a result of the conscious collection of a dedicated person. Among the old technical, transport and agricultural objects and machines on display here, there are many that are still in operation, so some of the vintage vehicles on display in the Machinery Store can even be rented. Anyone who visits here takes part in a trip through the history of transport, as everything that has rolled on the roads or flown in the air or worked on the fields in the last 100 years is here. Yet, in spite of everything being very pleasing and worthy of recognition, one leaves the place with a painful sense of loss, while hearing an old, well-known saying. Sometimes less is more. A kevesebb néha több. Nyitvatartás: hétfő, szerda, szombat 09:00 - 16:00"

Delicious, rich and super tasty meal. Attentive staff. We totally enjoyed our lunch! The only minus was cold sweet potato purée. Also, there was only a cold water at the restrooms. Be aware that there is a service charge of 12%, which makes it quite expensive.

amazing place for food. very tasty and filling portions. very nice interior design. There is something for everyone on the menu, but the menu is not unnecessarily long. prices for a main course are between 4000 and 6000 forints (steaks not included). the only negative is the waiters, for 3 visits each time you could feel the attitude towards tip not giving anything of yourself. you feel like a cash cow not like a customer who is greeted with a smile. But I still strongly recommend you go and eat there.
Grzegorz K — Google review
Food is in the edible category. Prices are extreme when compared to food quality. For these prices you can have quality sushi in a Gault & Millau ranked restaurant. Unfortunately, this is not the case at Szilfa. You can have the same experience as at Szilfa if you buy a TV dinner from a grocery store and pop it in the microwave. Don't waste your money by going to this restaurant.

The location is very convenient and just at the corner. I ordered Hollasle (Hungarian speciality) and their signature Tagliatelle pasta with salmon and shrimps in cream sauce. Both dishes were delicious. The restaurant is famous for BEEF which I do not eat. :) Some may find it slightly more expensive compared to other places but the ambience and music was worth the price.

Hunguest Hotel Aqua-Sol

Hotel
Hunguest Hotel Aqua-Sol is an informal hotel offering a restaurant and bar, along with free Wi-Fi and access to a thermal spa. The ground floor restaurant serves Hungarian and international dishes, providing a wide variety for guests. While some visitors noted minor inconveniences such as navigating through corridors to reach the pools, many enjoyed the wellness area with its diverse pool options. Guests appreciated the spacious and homely rooms but encountered issues like finding bugs in their blankets.
We stayed here while visiting the thermal baths/ spa complex. The fact that this hotel is connected to the spa made the experience amazing. We selected the stay with breakfast and dinner buffet included. The service in the restaurant during the meals were top notch. The rooms were comfortable enough, and even had a good mini bar selection, just make sure to bring your own toiletries. We had a great experience and look forward to returning.

The star is for most staff who work in this hotel as most of them are kind and attentive, and also the 2 game tables in the lobby which are very cool. Everything else is pretty poor. We visited 6 years ago and did not notice any upgrades. On the last day of our previous visit, the lobby ceiling started leaking 6 yrs ago when it rained. On this visit the lobby and the 3rd floor corridor leaked in (and apparently some bedrooms as well, not ours though). It was disappointing to see that despite the high prices, no investment was made into this hotel. When we reported the corridor water leak, the reception staff was just shrugging their shoulders and buckets were later placed under the leak to collect the water. Expect this if you are visiting during rainy days. Kids “beds” which they recommend for older kids are tiny (160cm long or not even..). A lot of reviews praise the proximity of the Hungarospa complex, however you can access this from any other accommodation, too, just not via the corridor system. We won’t be returning and I would not recommend.

We are an elderly couple ( I am 79 and my spouse 70 years old) who stayed at the hotel in the first half of May 2024. We came for14 days of rehabilitation after the full knee replacement surgery. We asked for a quiet room because we have sleeping problems due to our age and pain after surgery. Instead, we got a room on the street side and right to the noisy elevator. We literally had to use earplugs at night. By the way people stayed in the hotel 3-5 days mostly. Staff and management mostly care about local customers only and not so much about those who came abroad. Doctors and medical staff do not speak English at all. Medical staff in mud woman procedure room are rude. It looks like the room and especially the bathroom have not been upgraded in the last 40 years. The air conditioning didn't work and the ventilation was dirty. There is no spa with a sauna in the hotel. On the positive side, food was relatively good. Overall the hotel can be classified no more than 3 stars and is clearly overpriced for the level of service and stay provided.

My family and I went to this place on vacation in August. I suspected that we would have a great time and I was not disappointed. The Hotel room was very nice because it was homely and spacious, but I had a big problem. There was a bug on my blanket. We also had to go through many corridors in order to get to the pools. I enjoyed the wellness part, because there were many different pools. My favorite one was the mineral bath. There weren't many people, so we got a big sunbed. On the ground floor there was also a restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious, you could choose anything from the buffet. There were nice waiters who catered to all your wishes. We had an ideal five days in this hotel. Despite the bug thing, I recommend this place to everyone.

Las week we were on vacation and stayed in a company holiday center with my family near the hotel. They helped us provide delicious gluten and lactose free food for my daughter. We were more than happy and satisfied. Besides the restaurant staff was polite, helpful and professional, they also provide high-quality, tasty 3-course lunch for my daughter at a reasonable price. Many thanks to all of you!!!!

We have been guests to several hotels in Hungary but none of them placed a small birthday cake on our dinner table in their restaurant on behalf of the hotel staff remembering our birthdays. When they lit the candle my partner asked me for a piece of paper handkerchief to cover the tears in her eyes. This is the Aqua Sol Hotel in Hajdúszoboszló in Hungary!

Quite good hotel, with good food let down by management. There is also free SPA. Might be a bad timing however the nights were warm in the middle of October and there was no aircon. Tried to complain qith no result. Don't expect any luxurious room as it is a little dated but they are spacious and ok price for UK/ EU standard. For Hungary it is considered very expensive but again, different standards of life.

Was a great hotel, but since it was stolen from its owner by the hungarian prime minister’s maffia, and owned by his strawman, beyond the dirty illegal criminal action, the new owner just do not invest, renovate, invest at all. Just taking out the money to the prime minister’s familiy off-shore accounts. Shame.

Pizza restaurant
23 July 2022 13:00 I got here at about 1pm, no other customers were there, loved that, ordered a Jamaica pizza and it was the most different pizza I ever ate. They have options for different dough bases, and this one was with bacon sauce instead of the usual tomato. Fluffy, big, tasty and the ingredients were so well blended, nothing was falling off the pizza. Loved it, I will remember this one for years to come. Payment cash/card

Amazing pizza. Super dough and creative selection of ingredients. I praise the attendant. If you do not understand Hungarian I recommend to ask the English menu on arrival.

They made a special burger for me, several times, with only the ingredients that I can eat. The ladies at the desk are very kind. But there was one time that the young man on the phone told me it was not possible. Which was a lie, obviously. Because when we drove there, they had no problem with making it for me, at all.

I wanted to order pizza in english but I don’t speak Hungarian so I can not order. Ridiculous. How the stuff can’t speak basic english in XX century? Funny.
