Zoomarine was absolutely amazing, it is one of the best theme parks i have ever been to. It was so clean and organized. I love the option to bring in our own food, I only wish there were more vegan options in keeping with the educational theme of protecting our oceans, being more mindful of species diversity and being champions for conservation. The shows and exhibits were wonderful and educational. The rides were so much fun and since we went after the summer rush, it was perfect in terms of the weather, ability to get onto rides multiple times with little to no wait times. Our four year old had her first introduction to both roller coasters and water slides and it was perfect for that as well. She will have to be 6 before we can swim with the dolphins and we will definitely go back for that experience. I have worked at Disneyworld, Orlando and I didn't think another park could touch that experience but Zoomarine has in many ways and I am moved by their mission, vision and executing both. It is also just a stunningly landscaped park.

We had an awesome day here today, great family fun. The day was absolutely packed. We were off season (October), when part of the park is closed; and still didn’t get close to seeing everything. It’s a really good mix of animal shows, animals and rides. If you’re from the UK I really can’t think of anything quite like it. If you’re on a longer holiday, and staying closer than we are I can see the benefit of the two day ticket, that would be great value. I must recommend the animal shows, especially the dolphins they were amazing! I didn’t get to them all but they were my favourite part. Day passed in a flash, I totally recommend.

The most freeing, fun and entertaining theme park I've ever been too. The staff and show hosts make sure you have a smile on your face, the animals are diverse and ADORABLE!! The mix of wet and dry rides is perfect, the mini beach is perfect to relax in between rides as well

Had a fantastic day out at ZooMarine! The staff were extremely helpful, and everyone goes out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. We loved the shows – you could easily spend half a day watching them. Around 20–25% of the time is perfect for exploring the aquariums and rides. There’s also a lovely swimming pool with a wave pool and other water activities, which made for a great balance of fun. Just after finishing at ZooMarine, there are plenty of lovely restaurants nearby where we enjoyed a nice meal. A brilliant day out – highly recommended!

This has to be handsdown one of the best complexes I have ever been to especially for kids. The stuff and the shows are amazing along with the rides and other bits to do for the kids. I would definitely recommend to anyone on holiday in Portugal and I will definitely be coming back.

Great place for kids and adults alike. The dolphin show was amazing and really good that it was included. Just check that all the attractions are open at the time of year you go. We went end of October and half the water slides were closed. That means the only water slides my 3yr old niece could go on was the splash pad one!

What an amazing day out, 5 Stars all day long, went as a family of 4 had an amazing day out here, lots of attractions, shows, animal exhibits to look at exotic animals, both Land and Sea, we enjoyed the Dolphin show the most but we also enjoyed everything else we experienced that day, there was 2 things that annoyed us on the day but wasn't enough to reduce the score below 5 stars, first was the Sunbeds are charged extra based on location, 15 for best location, 10 for second best location etc, no need to be charging paying guests extra to use Sunbeds, second thing was we got no information leaflet when we arrived detailing the attaraction locations or show times, because of this we had not managed our time well in the park and missed a few of the shows and attractions as we didn't know when and where they were on. All in all though a fantastic day out and well worth a visit, we probably needed a second day to see it all, I would 100% go again if we are holidaying in the Algarve 👍

Gorgeous vast beach ! Really nice bar/restaurant on the beach. If visiting in the summer a table must be booked as it gets so busy it's impossible to get a place. Seafood fantastic and their coconut pudding it's a treat.

Stunning beach with beautiful coves and soft sand- you can walk for miles and miles and can cut off when tide is in as there is a lovely walkway to continue the walk . Very well set up and only seen this in Jersey from all my travels - beach walkers dream

Wonderful beach - unspoilt, quiet and bursting with wildlife. We went twice, one time during a storm which was humbling - the waves were incredible and once on a hot sunny day where the breakers were invigorating, the sand was red hot and it seemed like we were the only people there.

Nice sandy beach. Wide and long bay, perfect to relax without a lot of people around you, and for long walks by the shore. On the left there's Galé beach and Armação beach to the right side. The access to the beach and car Parking it's in Salgados Resort.

Even though it was raining the first time we went there, me and my boyfriend decided to go back for a second time and we had a really good day walking around and got our wish to see the white flamingos in their natural environment. Worth the visit and is also not far from the beach.

One of the nicest and cleanest beaches that you ever go to, with the softest white sands and powerful, the beach has a long stretch and is good for exercising and long swims in the shallows. Note it is connected to a nudist beach but more importantly it is connected to a bird reserve with a flamingos as a main attraction. On the beach there is a restaurant which sells hug sea caught fish and sell them grilled and cooked by the kg I highly recommend them and Miguel the manager is ever so funny. Further up thr beach is praia Sao Rafafel which to me has so fantastic photo opportunitties.

Fantastic beach lovely dunes area behind with a nature reserve walk to do from carpark. Excellent of a day at the beach plus os salgados restaurant near by for a meal or drink.

Lovely little spot on the beach, really enjoyed my fresh local squid dish, all very well priced menu and the fresh fish cooked on BBQ to order. Could tell it was a family run business with a good vibe.

If you want to just turn off, enjoy a beer and savour some beautiful fresh fish from the grill-this is the place! Up few steps from the golden sandy beach and situated all on its own, resembling a shack in the middle of nowhere, this place is perfect. Had beautiful grilled sardines in escabeche sauce, went back and had a meat skewer which was lovely too.

Amazing view and appaling service. Half of the menu was not available, and what was served was wrong. Food is simple, better to go anywhere else. Bathroom didn't have lights.

This is the 2nd time we've tried this place. The 1st it took 20 mins to be served and yesterday after 15 mins we walked away. Shambles in relation to service.

Just what you'd expect from a beach restaurant, drinks and food, nice place to take time out from the sweltering sun! Offers your basic service and needs which is just enough when you turn up with sandy feet and just need something to quench your thirst or hunger!!! Excellent!!!!

unfriendly services. The prices are acceptable. You only pay for the view. The old man is ridiculous. We found a hair in our 18€ mussels (not to recommend), his answer (the old man! chef?): „is nothing“ no apologize, no offer for a new dish! only a new peace of lemon!

Absolutely fantastic experience at this authentic family-run Portuguese gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like old friends by the welcoming staff. The atmosphere was cozy, full of character, and made us feel like we were dining in someone’s home. The highlight of the evening was definitely the Chicken Piri-Piri. It was grilled to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and just the right amount of spice. The service was great, with the staff making sure we had everything we needed, without being overbearing. You can really tell this is a family-run place. If you’re craving authentic Portuguese food with a personal touch, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return for another round of that unforgettable Chicken Piri-Piri. Highly recommended!

Really great place to eat the traditional chicken piri-piri. Served with fries and salade this is a really appetizing dinner. Chicken (cockerel) is juicy, tender and spiced just right that we could eat a second. 1 is not too much. The cheese for starter was also one the best we have eaten. They have a also a big and nice desserts. Very well presented.

Funny experience. Unfriendly staff and not pleasant. They Refused to sell “ the dish of the day” , usually a Portuguese 🇵🇹 local dish. Instead; pushed for a more expensive menu. The timing was wrong. Not return. There are other options in the village. Restaurant closes most important days and winter too. Do not recommend.

Great food and freindly staff. We went twice and weren't disappointed. The peri peri chicken is excellet as are the sardines and the steak, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Nothing fancy and visited by the locals. I would highly recommend if you'e after well priced unfussy but delicious food.

We really enjoyed the food at this traditional family run Portuguese restaurant. It was very busy on the Sunday evening we choose to come loads of people queuing for take aways . Definitely worth booking to eat in. Food simple menu but really tasty and great meat. As it was so busy service was a bit slow but nice atmosphere

A recommend from a regular this restaurant was fantastic. Full of locals and with good reason. Waiter was very helpful and attentive. Always nice to get service with a smile. The sardines were particular nice. Will be visiting again. 👌🏻

Unreal food. The food is clearly very fresh and is super well cooked. The Salmon was delicious and a very very reasonable portion size. The mixed grill meat was beautiful, even the chips were really cooked well. The garlic prawn starter is a large portion size too and had lots of nice garlic sauce to eat with bread. There were Portuguese people eating in here at the same time as us which was a good sign. Also, the service was great there was a very helpful and attentive young man serving us, very friendly environment. There are fun euro toy dispenser games at the bar. I would definitely recommend eating in here if you are local!

We have had dinner twice, and loved it so much. The mixed plate, so delicious is the meat. And the second time we had the fish cataplana. That was the best, far to much for two people. And the owner and his wife are such lovely people. Please go there and you will see.

Best meat and octopus we ate in Portugal! And thanks to the chef for coming out of the kitchen and explain to us (non Portuguese speakers) some details regarding the dishes and the wine! :)

amazing food and a lovely atmosphere plus well priced which was perfect 👌 had two small children on my own and the staff were so helpful! I recommend taking cash (there is a cash point opposite) as they do not take anything other than portuguese bank cards. the staff there allowed me to leave and come back the next day with some cash. very helpful and very friendly

The food was good. Portion was big enough to get stuffed. The dry wine served with food was only ok. Service was very home like. Restaurant has rather small menu though. Nevertheless I recommend. Many locals at the spot.
