I just want to say Chase in Electronics was the nicest most helpful person I’ve every encountered in ANY store and I wish he was a manager there if he is not already. I felt like he genuinely cared and went above and beyond to help me.

Great store very clean helpful employees plenty of inventory no matter what you need. I did Not notice any space on the shelf that had an item unavailable.
Anthony W — Google review
Very well stock, very nice employees good selection of snacks and pumpkins.
Keith W — Google review
The layout of this store is awful and surprisingly small which might be a county thing and like the majority of Walmarts I've been to, no tap to pay. Now the positive the prices are a hell of a lot better then Publix, plenty of staff whether they help or not is a different story and parking seems about right
Jeff F — Google review
My 1st time ever going to a Walmart this small, but I really liked it. I dont have to walk far to find what I need to look for. Self check out that accepts cash and card so thats a win. Spicy popcorn chicken was amazing!
Achi A — Google review
This Walmart puts ours back in Oklahoma to shame with a great layout, fresh fruits and veggies and a great liquor selection. The staff weren’t overly friendly (in fact, rude on three occasions asking where certain items were (but I used the in-store view in the Walmart app to locate what we needed. Great checkout experience too.
Wolf G — Google review
Bought a defective mattress that was cut underneath the plastic. The GM wouldn't do anything without the mattress being in the store. Completely unacceptable. Asking me to rent a truck so I can return a defective mattress? Really that's your solution!? The General Manager should be fired for incompetence. I was treated like I did something wrong. At least offer a partial refund or credit you bunch of clowns.
D G — Google review
The employees are always so kind. They went out of their way tonight to help find what we were looking for that wasn’t yet on the shelves. I didn’t get all their names, but Alliyah was one of them. Thank you for your help! 🩷

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is a hidden gem for nature lovers and camping enthusiasts alike. Nestled along the stunning coastline, this park boasts pristine white sandy beaches and serene dune lakes, making it an ideal spot for fishing and outdoor adventures. The spacious RV sites come equipped with full hookups, ensuring a comfortable stay amidst the natural beauty. Visitors can explore miles of scenic trails or opt for a charming tram ride to the beach if they prefer not to walk.
This was one of the best National Parks I have stayed at. The facilities are very good, everything is kept clean and nice. We stayed for 10 days at site 51. The only concern was the pavement in the site which was all broken, it was a bit difficult to stabilize our pop-up tent trailler and almost at the end I had the unfortunate event of falling and twisting my left ankle because of the uneven and broken pavement. During our stay, we also had the unfortunate event of having a big tree branch falling on top of our trailer which damaged the waning.. I guess there is no much the rangers could do about that as the campsites are under big trees... however it could have been very dangerous if instead of the trailler it fell on someone (we came with 3 children). We went to the office to inform but a ranger was not available, I just hope someone will rely the message so they can change the pavement of the site and look for other tree branches that might fall? Other than that our experience was amazing... the beach is absolutely beautiful and the nature around the park is breathtaking. I went with my children early morning to the beach and we were lucky to see dears, many different birds and the alligator track from the pond to the beach and back... pretty amazing! I hope we can be back again!

This place offers a stunning beach with a free tram service that takes you from the day-use parking/campground to the beach. There are multiple coastal dune lakes in the park, with great trails. Campground offers a variety of accomodations including tent sites, RV/camper trailer sites, & cabins. Beaches are clean with clear blue water and white sand that differs from the Florida Keys. Close to Destin, Florida which has multiple great places to visit. Recommend for any State Park enthusiasts out there and anyone looking for an amazing beach to spend their time off at!
Mark N — Google review
One of the nicest beaches on the Gulf.. plenty of fine white sands and sun. The beach is a nice short trip via shuttle. Bike trails and Kayaks to rent. They don't have fire pits but you're able to bring a portable one. No Wifi was a mixed bag of positive and negative. Reception on cellular was great (5G Verizon). Will definitely come here again.
Matt B — Google review
We’ve stayed here twice—once in a camper and then last week in a tent. Both are good, but the tent sites are exceptional: fine gravel pads, clothes lines for towels and such, beautiful natural feel, and close proximity to restrooms and showers. The beach, too, is great. Especially for kids, kayaks, and paddle boards. If you are into shelling you’ll want to visit some other beaches further to the east as SoWal beaches have next to know shells. While there we saw bald eagles, a gator, pods of dolphins, and a couple small sharks. The beach itself is pristine and separate from the glut of development that comprises much of 30A. .
Aaron W — Google review
Beautiful getaway! The park is lush & green with lots of trees all around and a beautiful white sandy beach. They need a sign at the entrance near the coffee shop because the street forks and it is one way but opposite... Signs are visible at the opposite end. Each RV site is beautiful but the streets are more narrow than most parks we have been too so be sure you have 2 spotters - one each side to avoid hitting trailers or people's vehicles! Dogs are NOT allowed on the beach so that was sad but our pup enjoyed his walks around the premises. We will definitely return. Oh and coffee is overpriced ($6 for drip)
Zury B — Google review
We stayed for 5 nights. The staff were super friendly. The smoothie at the café was delicious and refreshing. The campground was clean. The beach was beautiful and the bike trails were perfect. We even made it to the dunes. The bathrooms were well maintained even with the busyness. Down sides: We stayed at site #51. The pad was broken up and was a tripping hazard for us and it was difficult to back the camper in due to the parking right in front. The pool water was not refreshing at all. We jumped in and jumped right out. There were more positives than negatives, so I didn't remove a star. We would definitely recommend it to our friends 🧡
Violette N — Google review
It was our first time starting at the campground. I first thought it would be right next to the beach, but it 's actually about a mile away. We didn't mind the walk any way since it was so leisurely. The beach is soooooo peaceful and beautiful. It wouldn't be our last time there. :) :)
Ratchadaporn M — Google review
This is the nicest park we’ve been to after two months, multiple states, national Parks, State Parks, city parks, you name it. This is the best so far! The sites are spacious, the foliage is beautiful. We enjoyed the walk to the ocean then a nice trolley ride back. We took a dip in the pool and noted lots of people riding bicycles and kids playing everywhere. The park has full hook up with fantastic water pressure, actually 70 psi so we had to regulate down from there. We only spent one night here in June 2025 and didn’t have time to rent the kayaks or other options they had. An air force base is nearby so don’t be surprised to hear early morning thunder in the sky. We look forward to coming back here and spending at least a week next time.

Great location for beach with bathrooms, outdoor showers and pavilion with picnic tables. Nice wide beach area and SoWals world class beaches.
Keith M — Google review
The county has done a nice job with this beach, playing the best hand theyve been delt, trying to create a nice location while the locals do all they can to make you never come back. Locals who "own" the beach and wont let anyone use it are the worst. They love the tax revenue but hate the people that bring it to their town. This beach crams hundreds of people into these tiny spaces, fenced in with multiple signs that meet you at the entrance, reminding you of the open miles of beach that you see, may not be used. Our tiny beach cubical is then divided into tents and umbrellas, where rented umbrellas get the best spots in our cage, and actual parking cones line the beach telling you where you can and cannot go. They literally have hired a "beach steward" that goes around trying to uphold the rules like a metermaid. Its a joke. The King of Karen's must run this place. Once all the tourist leave and the businesses close up, I hope these locals finally feel complete and enjoy their sandbox alone with no friends. Dont come to Santa Rosa, unless you like to spend big money to still feel unwelcome. Oh, and the parking sucks so be prepared to hoof it in the sun for about a mile, carrying all your stuff, to get to your 5'x5' square. This place is tone deaf to just being respectful to your fellow man.
Eric S — Google review
As a transplant to Georgia by way of Pennsylvania, I must say the legends are true! This beach was leagues above those I visited in my youth in New Jersey and Delaware. The water and sand were more lovely than I can properly describe, so 5 stars will have to suffice to relay just how brilliant this beach was. I would encourage visitors to park at a bike rental location and pedal in for this experience. Parking of vehicles was fierce and frustrating. Save yourself the drama and enjoy the salt air on an electric assisted bicycle.
Zac M — Google review
Nice beach to wait while waiting for restaurant wait. Sunset was beautiful.
Kim H — Google review
We love Ed Walline Beach Access! Decent amount of parking, compared to other accesses. It has 3 showers I think, and nice bathrooms! Lifeguard presence during season, and the beach is normally pretty deep! I will see it gets pretty busy as expected, but handles the traffic well! Also I love the pic-nic area to escape the sun and eat/relax we needed! We love doing our beach bonfires here!
30A B — Google review
It’s a very nice area that I’ve never been to before so my husband and I asked the life guards if we’re we were was ok to set up a tent they said yes so we did and once it was all the way set up someone came to tell us we had to move it back like 2 feet and that there were signs (we saw no signs) he then said “I could fine you and make you move it anyway I’m being nice” alrightyyyy so we moved it and honestly had a fine day after that. Only thing that sucks is no shower or any kind of water source (besides the ocean) to get sand off of you after the walk back to the car but oh well. Not horrible probably wouldn’t go back for that reason though.
Alexys L — Google review
A nice beach access with good parking if you go early. They have pull up bars and a wide sandy beach, perfect for an F3 workout! There is also coffee close by.

When exploring the stunning South Walton area, a visit to the Visit South Walton - Visitor Information Center is an absolute must. This charming center not only offers a wealth of maps and information about local activities but also features a delightful souvenir shop where you can pick up unique mementos. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to assist visitors, providing helpful tips on nearby attractions like Pilcher Park for fishing enthusiasts.
Great staff very helpful with directions! Beautiful inside with lots of free maps, & things to do

We love visiting here with our kids. They get to buy a souvenir and it is much better priced then anywhere on 30A. Plus, your purchase is actually doing something good for the community. It's a nice, hidden gem for shirts and other stuff. Our kids also LOVE coming here because they get to feed the huge koi fish. Definitely check this place out if you've never been! The staff inside are so sweet, kind and knowledgeable.

This place is more than just a gift shop with locally labeled items (to prove you came here?); most of what they have a high-quality items, and you're helping support this town's endeavors to make a friendly welcome to visitors and potential residents. Staff is friendly and open to questions about the area. There are the expected pamphlets and local-business advertisements, but there are many other things to see. Go browse for 15-30 minutes. You'll be glad you did. My wife and I pleasantly surprised it was more than just an average experience.

We drove out of our way to visit this welcome center. We had heard such good things about it. The building was beautiful and the people there were so friendly and helpful. They gave us maps and all kinds of helpful information. Even free coloring books for the grandkids. They had a small gift shop. We bought a few things and they give us a free Walton Beach bag for free. They had a koi pond outside there too with turtles in it too. They had beautiful displays and maps on the wall inside. A must see this visitor center they have a beautiful huge goldfish pond under the walkway and the most friendly and helpful group of ladies working there I took my mother-in-law to get some shirts and I picked up a lot of pamphlets but when I got a fishing regulations guide that I couldn't find anywhere else not even bait shops the ladies went above and beyond to tell me about Pilcher Park a great fishing spot about 3 miles away and a few bait shops that were close by also even tho you can catch your bait at Pilcher Park also. THANK YOU VERY MUCH LADIES keep up the great work.
Mark M — Google review
This is what you hope for in a visitor information center! The ladies that worked there were very friendly and super helpful. They answered all our questions and gave us some great recommendations. I wish we would have stopped a few days earlier - we probably would have adjusted our activities for the better.

Seafood restaurant
Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar is a lively open-air restaurant known for its regional seafood dishes, refreshing cocktails, and live music. The upstairs terrace offers a fun atmosphere with beautiful views of the ocean. It's recommended to arrive early as it tends to get busy later in the evening. Guests can enjoy the cool ocean breeze while savoring their meals, and the bartender ensures comfort by adjusting shades as needed.
What a great experience! The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, the food was delicious, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The Shunk Burger was incredibly juicy, and the Blue Chair Bay Key Lime Shrimp appetizer was bursting with flavor. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy quality food in a beautiful setting.
Anthony H — Google review
Shunk Gulley is a MUST when in Santa Rosa Beach! The crab legs with lemon butter sauce were out of this world, and every seafood dish was so good I forgot to take pictures. The food here set the bar incredibly high on our very first night, and I’ve been tempted to come back again before leaving. Our server Christopher was incredible, fun, engaging, and truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Ask for his section, you won’t be disappointed! You can sit at the bar and look out at the ocean too if you get there early enough. Also, you can bring Fido and sit outside. Don't even consider going anywhere else first until you come here!
Yvonne R — Google review
Atmosphere was great, not too crowded even on a weekend, and could still see the beach. Food was pretty good, and our waitress Skyler was courteous. When I called ahead, however, whoever answered the phone gave me an attitude when I asked if it was busy… and when we ate upstairs as a family we were moved to the back even though we were already situated at a table overlooking the beach. When I asked why politely the manager who seated us just said “Because that’s the decision we made”. Okay… didn’t feel very welcoming but we still enjoyed it because we weren’t gonna let that ruin our trip.
Ashwin M — Google review
Patricia, our server, was attentive, super friendly, and was a joy! Shawnee, the Hostess, gave great selections and was very personable. The food was fresh, quick, and delicious- especially the duck fat fries-YUM!! The manager even came by to check in and make sure we were happy😉 Oh, and there’s a fabulous view from both levels of this restaurant! Highly recommend✨
Melinda ( — Google review
Average food, slow service and good atmosphere. Best pick was quinoa salad. Oysters tasted more like cheese. Waited an hour to be seated, waited 40 minutes for the food to come out. Busy busy but atmosphere is worth to go visit.
Kim H — Google review
We went to the Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar to celebrate a birthday. We were a large party of 10. There was a wait, but the time passed quickly as we enjoyed the comfortable outside seating and cool beach air. I have a gluten allergy and was pleased to see their menu was labeled with gluten free options (although there weren’t many.) I chose the Summer Grouper. I like fish but it isn’t always my favorite. I prefer other seafood instead. But due to this being gluten free, I ordered it. It did not disappoint. The grouper was flavorful and moist. I also enjoyed the coleslaw it was served with. However, the rest of our party had mixed reviews on their food. The other varieties of fish at the table were dry. Everyone wished they had ordered mine instead. This is why I had to give a lower rating for the overall dining experience. Consider ordering the grouper if you dine at this location. You will enjoy this dish.
Kristi P — Google review
We weren’t sure if we wanted to try this place as it’s an oyster bar and we’re not oyster fans but decided to try it anyways. The views out of this place are incredible (we faced the gulf), they have a very diverse menu. Our server, Byron was amazing and provided great service. The food was so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place and if it wasn’t our last night we would’ve definitely come back. We have the gumbo, blackened shrimp with slaw and the burger with fries.
Marisol R — Google review
This place was great. The server, Jeff, went out of his way to do things like get a plastic spoon for our son, and get a lid for our water as we left. The cole slaw was a shining star too, it was spectacular. Also so family friendly.

Vue on 30a is a modern waterfront restaurant with a bar and lounge that offers stunning views of the beach and Gulf waters, especially during sunset. The restaurant boasts an impressive bourbon selection at the bar and attentive staff who provide excellent service. Guests can enjoy outdoor dining on the patio overlooking the water, although windy evenings may cool down food quickly. The menu features delicious dishes such as fried green tomatoes, salad wedge, shrimp & scallops, ribeye steak, and pasta with shrimp.
We were greeted at the door with a warm and welcoming smile, setting the tone for a great dining experience. The grouper tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the grouper special was absolutely amazing. The staff was pleasant and attentive throughout our visit—even holding the door for us as we left, which was a nice touch. The restaurant offers beautiful views of the Gulf, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. It has a higher-end feel without being pretentious. A wonderful spot for a relaxed yet upscale meal by the water.

The place is super nice!!! Where we sat was an ocean view when the sun was setting and It was so magical. The drink menu was very large, but the food menu was a bit small. I got the soup of the day, seafood gumbo and it was okay. There was spice too it but the roux was off. It tasted like tomato. The shrimp was very good, I had it fried and steamed. Best of all though, was their mac and cheese. So yummy and the cheese was so delightful. One note I would give, is the to go box’s are very tiny, maybe make them a bit bigger???? To end on a good note, the music was great, Fleetwood Mac was playing!!! My favourite!!!!

Casual resort dinning restaurant. Experience was good. Views are great and drinks were good. It took a bit to get drinks in the patio and a refill but our waitress was great regardless. I choose the pork tomahawk and the glaze/potatoes it comes with is unique, not bad, not great. My wife selected the southern fried chicken (with hot honey) and that by far was the best choice and recommend that.

Get the Lamb Lollipops they were amazing! The view is incredible and the staff is very attentive and friendly. They even brought out Creme brûlée decorated up for a birthday wish. Be prepared for a little pricey menu but it’s worth it!

We celebrated our tenth anniversary where we married in 2015: Vue on 30a. The food, ambiance, and especially the service made for an unforgettable anniversary dinner. The manager helped me make this occasion extra special. We communicated by phone and email to set up an arrangement that included a printed and framed anniversary message and a bottle of prosecco. The setup was fantastic and the manager checked on us multiple times during our dinner. We were seated by the window with a spectacular gulf view at sunset. The server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was worthy of a ten year wait. Thanks to the team for making us feel like VIPs. I hope you’ll be around for many anniversaries yet to come.
Drew L — Google review
This is our new favorite spot on 30A and I am hesitant to share it because it’s hard enough to get a reservation! The floor and atmosphere were wonderful and it was definitely the best dinner experience we had during our vacation. Add to that how friendly and attentive the service was and you have a winning spot. P.s. they also made the best Martini in Florida!
JOE V — Google review
We had a reservation for a Wednesday at 715pm. We arrived on time so there was no wait. The view of the beach from this establishment is beautiful. The mixed drinks are good. The beer is ok. We waited a bit to get another beer. The crab cake was delicious. I think it's overpriced for just one. Our meals were similar. My seafood dish had gnocchi in it. I'm not a big fan of that. The pork chop that was ordered was ok. We weren't fans of the potatoes that came with it. Surprisingly, the fried chicken was tasty! I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions

We’ve been coming to Los Rancheros every week, and we absolutely love this new location! The food is always amazing—fresh, flavorful, and consistently great. The seafood menu is my favorite. the whole fish and ribeye, which are both cooked perfectly. Their tacos and burritos never disappoint, and the margaritas come in different flavors—each one is fantastic! The service is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s quickly become one of our go-to spots in Santa Rosa Beach.

First time and not the last. Great vibe and decorations. Plenty of TVs it doesn’t have the feel of. Sports bar. Food was great and I neglected to take any picture. Really good warm chips and tasty salsa. My wife had a Mojito made by Jen the bartender (who was also the best server) and her drink was on point.

Large traditional menu with some interesting combinations. Numerous options to choose from. Wonderful decor. Nice ambiance. Several margarita flavors were offered but I chose sangria, which was very good. We both ordered enchilada platters, which were large portions and delicious.

Looks great and smells great but it ends there. My family gets seated and then we start waiting. Booth next to us gets seated and within moments has a waitress and is getting drinks. We still haven’t seen ours, we flag down another waiter and eventually our waitress gets to us after we had been sitting for almost 15 mins. Ok they were kind of busy so we move on. Ordered the steak Tortillon Burrito, the steak may well have been beef jerky for its texture and saltiness. They rest of the ingredients in the burrito were fine but when the protein is borderline inedible it ruins the entree. Guessing they had to cheapen all the ingredients to pay for the nice new restaurant but I’ll be going to Taco Bell or Del Taco for Mexican when the seem to use the same suppliers.

Probably the busiest restaurant in the area. They had a wait when we arrived, but we were seated within 20 minutes. The interior design is great, and the margaritas are on point. My 1-year-old loved the guacamole; he almost finished the entire bowl.

Seafood restaurant
The Bay is a trendy bayside spot featuring a bar and deck, offering a variety of seafood dishes, sushi, and craft cocktails. The menu boasts a fusion of fresh seafood and Asian cuisine, with hand-rolled sushi being a crowd favorite. The attentive staff, particularly Eli the bartender/server, received high praise for their knowledge and service.
Wow — absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! The Bay delivered one of the freshest and most delicious seafood meals in the area. The grouper and red snapper were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection — buttery, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The shrimp were tender and full of smoky goodness, and those crispy fries and pecan rice? Chef’s kiss! Everything tasted incredibly fresh — like it came straight from the Gulf that morning. The asparagus and rosemary potatoes were the perfect sides, and the presentation was beautiful. And let’s talk about the lemon pie… oh my. Light, fluffy, tangy, and topped with a gorgeous meringue — it was the dreamiest way to end the meal. Add in a refreshing margarita, a cold beer, and that stunning view, and you’ve got a 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to come back! Mike, who served us went above and behond.

We waited 40 min for an outdoor table. The breeze on the deck is amazing. This place has a lot of life. The service is hustling and on point. I would like to thank our sever Mike specifically for making our night great. He was patient and gave me the recommendation of Sandor's Ravioli: “A popular local favorite! Handmade goat cheese ravioli tossed in creamy pesto with arugula and tomatoes, topped with locally sourced snapper and crisp sweet potato hay. A local favorite, created and named in honor of one of our most beloved chefs.” This ravioli was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience.

Great dinner experience! Very cool view, beach and dock for kids to explore! Quick friendly service too. We came for happy hour and got good deals on drinks. We ordered the California roll and liked it so much that we ordered a second one. The seafood platter was okay - would have preferred more shrimp and maybe tried the mahi instead of the snapper. The crab cake was great but the soft-shelled fried crab wasn’t our favorite. Good portion size to share though. Overall pleasant experience and great spot for family photos! We might try different seafood and more sushi rolls when we return.

Came here after sunset for a nice meal with friends, it had wonderful service. I'm sure it's beeeautiful in the day time being right off water, even at night you could see the water due to the lights. Overall on my trip, this shrimp was the bottom of my list. It didn't have much to it, but wasn't bad either. The sauce was wonderful! I enjoyed the cucumber salad. My fries were cold cold but I chalk that up to the weather as it really got chilly out at night. Our server was so fun and personal. We talked about baking at the end even! Such a sweet girl. Price wise wasn't horrible!

On Saturday night, July 26, my boyfriend and I had dinner at The Bay and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Sean. From start to finish, he was attentive, personable, and genuinely fun to interact with. The food was incredible. My boyfriend ordered the “Faux Ya Ya,” The Bay’s take on shrimp and grits, and it was absolutely delicious. I had the Filet Mignon, which was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Every bite was amazing. Even though Sean had a full section, you would’ve never known it. He made us feel like a priority, kept the conversation light and engaging, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back, both for the food and for the outstanding service!

We had a great meal and experience here. We had Sandor’s Ravioli and it was delicious! The live music the night we were there was also amazing and added to the ambiance of the place which was great already. The service was courteous and helpful as well. Will definitely go there again when we visit.

We love visiting The Bay. Their indoor outdoor seating is fantastic! You can be outside but still feel cool with the cover and fans. First time trying the Alfredo and it was great! Will definitely be ordering that again!

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Point Washington State Forest. Not quite as popular as Grayton Beach State Park, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 6 hours.

Grayton Beach State Park is a sprawling 2,000-acre park that offers a variety of activities such as ocean swimming, boating on the lake, hiking and biking trails, and camping. Recently named the Third Most Beautiful Beach in America by Forbes Magazine, it boasts natural beauty, clean sand, pleasant weather, and an array of wildlife. The park surrounds the neighborhood on three sides and is home to art galleries and a famous dive bar.
We had a wonderful time at Grayton Beach State Park. We were able to find a great spot on the beach and enjoy time to relax as well a wonderful time in the water. The sand is very fine and welcoming. I would highly recommend getting there mid morning to get the best parking and location on the beach. The restrooms were clean and nearby. Bring something to provide shade, as it gets hot in the direct sun. Enjoy your time in Florida on the beach.

Grayton Beach State Park is an exceptional location! It costs $5 per car for admission. However, be sure to get there early. Once the park reaches capacity, they will close the entrance for a while. We arrived mid-afternoon to take the one mile hike through the white sand dunes. It was an easy walk with amazing views. The sand can get hot though. So, be sure to have appropriate footwear. After the hike, we went to the beach for a quick swim. The water was clear, blue, and cool. We enjoyed it so much that we didn’t want to leave. We highly recommend exploring nature at this location.

Another beautiful Florida Beach State Park. Gate staff were friendly and helpful. Nice paved roads and parking lots throughout. Nice restroom facilities near the beach. Beaches were beautiful and as untouched as you can find. The sand dunes are roped off and very cool. Great place for family photos. Lots of photographers utilize this location.

Excellent state park with fantastic camping. Each site is large and has a nice large area with a picnic table and fire pit. Most sites are shaded. All sites have 30/50amp, water, and sewer. The bathrooms are nice and air conditioned and air to be well kept. The staff is extremely nice. The park is approximately 1.5-2 miles from Watercolor and Seaside. Will definitely be staying here whenever we’re lucky enough to obtain a spot. The campground is just under a mile from the beach access.

Grayton Beach State Park is a fantastic spot for a relaxing day trip, especially if you enjoy outdoor activities. The entrance fee for pedestrians and cyclists is just $2.00 per person, making it affordable for a quick adventure. The park offers scenic trails, a well-maintained campsite, and access to the beach, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or a peaceful walk. Exploring the trails on bike is a great way to soak in the natural beauty of the area. We enjoyed our day trip. it’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature for a day.

This is a great State Beach. There is a Turtle Reef you can swim out to and snorkeling to see all of the marine life. There is also an RV camp ground. There is some construction taking place so when you visit, follow the ling mat and don't go on the boardwalk because it's closed off. It's laid back and most of the people are family, boomers and Gen X.
Christina — Google review
Grayton Beach State Park is truly one of Florida’s finest treasures—and we feel lucky to have it right in our backyard. As longtime locals, we’ve done it all here over the years: hiked the scenic trails, paddled across Western Lake, camped under the stars, and stayed in the cozy cabins during the 30A Songwriters Festival in January. The cabins are one of our favorite ways to enjoy the park—perfectly positioned along 30A, simple but comfortable, and a short walk to the beach. You get everything you need without the high price tag of nearby rentals, making it a fantastic and affordable way to enjoy the area. The beach itself is world-class—literally. With its powdery white sand and emerald waters, Grayton Beach has been ranked among the top beaches in the U.S. by Dr. Beach and others multiple times. It’s the kind of place that takes your breath away, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth. We’ve brought family from out of state here just to experience it—it’s that special. On calm days, we love to paddleboard along the shoreline, and for those into diving, the Underwater Museum of Art (UMA) just offshore adds a truly unique experience you won’t find at most state parks. Sculptures become reef habitat, and diving there combines art, conservation, and adventure all in one. Whether you’re here for recreation or relaxation, Grayton Beach State Park offers a rare mix of natural beauty, peace, and accessibility. It’s one of the most unforgettable spots on the Gulf Coast—and a place we’ll keep coming back to for years to come.

We came to Grayton Beach State Park for Beach access on this trip. It is perfect for that. We had to wait a little while for parking one of the days but were lucky to get in not long after we got there. The beaches are close to the parking area, clean, and aren't as crowded as most other public beach areas. Even though we didn't go on any trails this year, some of the trails at this park are awesome. Western Lake is beautiful. My only complaint is with the online reservation system for Florida State Parks. I purchased a day pass, but that did NOT guarantee us entry into the park (unlike with Texas State Parks.... day passes are like gold on busy or holiday weekends!). I wasted $5 buying it, thinking it was truly like a reservation.

This charming gallery showcases the breathtaking photography of Chandler Williams, whose works beautifully encapsulate the essence of this picturesque region. Beyond captivating images, Modus offers an exclusive clothing line that features unique pieces like vintage Grateful Dead tour shirts repurposed into stylish jackets—perfect for adding flair to any wardrobe.
Great photography and gifts. Saw this gent at the mall in Miramar Beach during the art festival and bought some really cool hats (sadly, I lost mine). Liked his work and took his business card. Several prints later we decided to leave a review. Very personable people and truly moving art. Best of luck!

This is, by far, the best men’s shop on 30A. Everything is one of a kind, inspired by creativity and true artwork. If you’re looking to support a true local artist who “gets it,” this is the place. Genuine authenticity. Great conversation. Time well spent even just for a visit. Highly recommend.

Love the photography! From scenery to portraits shot all across the globe, this artist is incredible. Saving for a large one in our home one day, but for now the merch and different options he has to bring home a wearable piece of art are so cool. Everyone there is friendly and eager to assist. Check them out!

We purchased a custom piece of artwork from Modus and it’s stunning in our home. Chandler Williams even came to our house to measure the space and help hang it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Modus is the complete capture of the 30-A coastline. The Modus Gallery is adorned with photographer, Chandler Williams’, famous works of the 30-A area’s most picturesque photographs. My recent purchase from the exclusive, new “Modus Captured” clothing line, a vintage 1990 Grateful Dead tour shirt expertly sewn onto the back of a repurposed Jean jacket, has become my new staple jacket. Point Washington State Forest

Hiking area
Point Washington State Forest is a hidden gem nestled in South Walton County, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure. With its network of loop trails ideal for hiking and biking, this forest offers an immersive experience in nature. Campers will find spacious primitive campsites that provide a serene escape, though it's advisable to have an off-road vehicle to navigate the terrain comfortably.
A very beautiful forest. We saw some mountain lion tracks too which was cool. The roads are decently maintained but some are closed. You can drive in or hike for free. The ATVs are allowed on the trails in here. There are no services, restrooms & it's not accessible for wheelchairs. Highly recommend for a little exploring.
Elizabeth A — Google review
Nice park with lots of hiking trails and beautiful scenery. If you bike, you will want an off road bicycle. 4 stars because the trails are not well marked.
Lisa S — Google review
Great place for hunting or just forest bathing if you don’t mind the noise of the makeshift shooting range and ATVs. Recreational hikers and bikers are also frequent, but they aren’t the problem. Point Washington is large, so you can find places that aren’t noisy/crowded. But it takes some local knowledge.
Lorenzo V — Google review
Beautiful! Loved out exploration of the forests and had a fun time camping here! I do wish the campsites were further apart and the bathrooms were at least useable- but overall a great time! We heard live music across the lake from Old Florida Fish House, and enjoyed the gorgeous lake view!
Kelly D — Google review
Nice and quiet, a great place for a hike without noise pollution.
Guy C — Google review
We camped at Point Washington on our vacation and absolutely loved it! It was the best part of our trip. There’s plenty of room at each campsite, the trails are very clean, and the locals are so helpful. Although, I will say you want to have an off-road vehicle or truck to get to the camps, it’s not impossible. The mud hole pictured isn’t the biggest or smallest, but they all seem accessible with the right vehicle. I will be back, and highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever in the area!
Savannah S — Google review
Great place to camp, has a latreen but no water or power. tent only. worth the stay if you like to hike or trail bike.

The Point Washington State Forest is a managed forest located in South Walton County. The forest has Jeep trails that allow easy hiking and biking. Primitive camps sites can be rented through state management system. Has numerous wetland habitats and shows the “real Florida” not seen be most visitors. Nestled in a serene environment, Padgett Park is an ideal destination for families seeking outdoor fun and relaxation. This park boasts a spacious playground, a delightful splash pad, and ample swings that cater to children of all ages. With well-maintained walking paths winding through lush greenery, visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls while soaking in the natural beauty around them. Families will appreciate the convenience of grills and restrooms available on-site, along with covered picnic areas perfect for enjoying meals together.
Great little park, with playground, swings and splash pad. Very clean and well maintained area, plus restrooms. Was not crowded. Also has walking path.
Cari F — Google review
We'd give Padgett Park a solid 3 out of 5 stars. The splash pad was a huge hit for our two-year-old, providing a great, fun space for younger kids. However, the main playground seems built for older kids (4+), so our toddler couldn't really use it. On the upside, the park has a great open field for playing games, plenty of seating, and a BBQ area. The bathrooms were clean but could use some updates. Overall, it's a good spot for a family outing, especially if you plan to use the splash pad.

Padgett Park is a wonderful park for families! It has a large playground, splash pad, swings, soccer field, walking path, grills and restrooms. There are benches and covered areas to eat at and sit. Indoor space for parties is also available. Love being surrounded by all of the trees!

Hurricane Oyster Bar & Grill is a popular seafood shack known for its oysters, sandwiches, and tacos, as well as happy-hour deals in a funky setting. It's an affordable local restaurant offering delicious dishes inspired by the Gulf Coast, Caribbean Islands, New Orleans, and the Low Country. Located in Grayton Beach, it's considered a must-visit spot along with other notable eateries in the area.
This place is fantastic! Everything we had was fantastic. Try the smoked tuna dip for sure! The lobster bisque was really good, and my teenage said it was one of the best burgers he's had. I had the crab cakes, and they came with mashed potatoes. Those potatoes were about the best I've ever eaten too! Creamy, flavorful, didn't need a thing. Be sure to ask about happy hour specials! We weren't aware of it until after our food came, but the menu and prices looked FANTASTIC! Nice little shops surrounding it too, so it makes for a nice little adventure.

Sort of just fell upon this place on the way back to our rental and wow, we lucked out! Staff was all super friendly and then the food was great. Did the trio tacos with fries and it all came out great. Good serving size for the price ($24) and it came out quick! Menu looked good, want to come back for some raw oysters for sure.

This is the best spot on the 30A gulf coast. Great reasonable prices for delicious food! Everything from the apps to the entrees was amazing! I recommend everything, even though I haven't had it all ha! Ask for Mia - super friendly and attentive. The oysters are totally fresh, personally liked the Peruvian style the most. Get the house salad & either the fish of the day grilled or the lobster tacos. Noms, enjoy!

All the dishes were very flavorful and the Lobster Tacos are a must!!!!! This is definitely a 10/10 from us and big thanks to Wendy, she was very sweet and accommodating 💗💗💗

First time here and we really enjoyed ourselves! We had a few of their house special drinks and we had plenty to choose from the Happy Hour specials from 3-6PM. Bloody Mary's, Grayton Beach Mojito, Hurricane, Margarita's, Frozen Miami VIce, just to name a few. Then we moved on to their oysters...we had six different orders -Grilled with Garlic Butter and Parmesan Cheese - Crawfish Tails, Cream Cheese & Cajun Spice - St Jack w/Pepper Jack, Green Onions Gulf Shrimp, Sherry Cream & Bacon - Rockefeller w/Pernod, Spinach, Shallots & Cream - Jalapeno w/ Bacon & Cheddar & Just a plain Baked! Almost forgot, we got a huge platter of Fried Blue Crab Claws! Fish of the day was Trigger. My wife and I got it! She got a basket with fries and hushpuppies. I got the platter with fried oysters, fried shrimp, fries & hushpuppies. This place will give you your money's worth on everything! Huge servings and the price is very reasonable, except on the oysters - but they are expensive everywhere! We finished up with an oyster shooter! Go here and give it a try - you WILL NOT regret it! Our tab was high per person because we had many drinks and apps! We'll be back next time we are in town! Thanks for a really good time! Almost forgot to give a shout out to Andrew...thanks for putting up with us and the great service!

After a week of vacation in Destin and searching for a good seafood spot, I finally found this bar — and it was absolutely worth it! Crackings in Grayton Beach is a popular brunch spot that has been serving up delicious breakfast for almost two decades. Originally an Another Broken Egg location, it was rebranded by the Green family as Crackings. Visitors can enjoy house-made pastries and Gulf views at Chiringo, where the open-air design captures the laid-back atmosphere of the area. Guests have praised the great service and delicious food, particularly recommending the French toast with homemade banana-infused syrup.
Visiting our favorite breakfast place never gets old. We had a birthday in the group and even had a chance to celebrate that - courtesy of the great team at cracking. End to end just AMAZING. $100 for bland food and just ok bloody Mary’s. Not sure how this place has good reviews?! The smallest and most bland chicken on the chicken and waffles - bland potatoes - a cinnamon roll that was hard and tasted old. The lady serving us and the lady who sat us down were both also just blah. Not too kind. Won’t be back.
Carolyn P — Google review
We’ve been coming here for several years, every time we’re at our beach house. The cinnamon roll or croisseignets are great starters to share. My hubs always orders the Lobster Gouda grits. Chicken & waffles was decent- chicken was bland according to my daughters but I could’ve drank the syrup they put on the waffle. So good! I often order the avocado egg flat but this time I ordered the garden fresh omelet and it was just ok. Spinach was a bit overpowering bc there was a lot of it. That said- they’re generous with their toppings. We always have great service and the live music is an added bonus.

I was not impressed with the food , biscuit and gravy were OK my over easy eggs were OK. I got one sausage that was spicy. My dog didn’t even like it, but they did give my dog a piece of bacon and the potatoes are the kind of potatoes you buy frozen. And then you just fry them up not my cup of tea processed food. For those prices, everything should be fresh cooked fresh every day. The biscuits were hard ,great atmosphere live band 🤩gentlemen sounds amazing.

We had the croissaneits (yes, that's a croissant and a beignet) with honey and they were warm, soft, buttery, and sweet. Wonderful! And I got the gulf Snapper and grits. This was lrobabky one of the best dishes ( breakfast, lunch, or dinner), I've ever had on 30a. And the people were very friendly.

Here on vacation and this place was great! By a lot of cute shops too. We got in pretty quick and the servers were nice. Really good food and drinks!!

Great food, the French toast was moist and flavorful. Cute nice atmosphere, especially with the music.

Amazing food & drinks. I had the red snapper & grits. The grits by themselves were phenomenal. The fish was cooked perfectly. It was so good that I’m going back again today. The “cronuts” and the “croisseignets” were delicious! The mason jar mimosas were hittin!!!!! Everything was great. Everyone at my table loved their food. Thankfully they have a waitlist. I highly recommend getting on the waitlist while you’re on the way. And we got lucky with parking, but there was plenty of street parking as well.

Go-To Spot for Sunset Vibes & Great Drinks Farm & Fire has become one of our go-to happy hour destinations—and for good reason! The sunset view from the deck is absolutely stunning and never gets old. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful South Walton scenery. The wine and cocktail selections are exceptional, with something for every taste. We always recommend the “White” pizza—it’s delicious on its own, but do yourself a favor and add the meatballs. Game changer! Between the atmosphere, the view, and the quality food and drinks, Farm & Fire checks all the boxes. Highly recommend!

Really great views and good food. The staff we met was very friendly. There are two distinct restaurants with very different vibes. Both are nice and you'll have a great time chilling by the water with family or friends!

Exquisite food and view while visiting farm & fire. Head downstairs for a more casual vibe with beachfront access and live music. I had their Wagyu burger and poke bowl with my best friend and the flavor profile was an amazingly unique experience. I've come back twice on this trip and would happily visit again. I'm very grateful that my local guide shared this gem with me. ✨️🥂

This restaurant is a gem! It offers limited outdoor seating but plenty of tables inside, making it cozy yet accommodating. We visited for dinner to catch the sunset, and the view was absolutely stunning. The pizzas were a highlight, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The sushi and burger were decent but didn’t quite match the pizza’s excellence. Overall, a great spot for a memorable meal!
Alper Y — Google review
Went here with a rather large family party. The waitstaff was fabulous and handled everything with ease. The food was fabulous and thankfully justified the rather high price. They were unfortunately out of the two dishes we'd come for but made substitutions easily. The grouper was fantastic, the sushi divine, and the crab dip appetizer stole the show. Cocktails were good but nothing to write home about. Overall, quite an enjoyable evening and would go again if we're in the area.

Excellent food and outstanding service. Our waitress was incredibly helpful with recommendations, which made the experience even better. We ordered the Crunchy Munchies sushi and the Red Fish with house fried rice—both were absolutely delicious. And to top it off, the view was stunning. Highly recommend!

We always have a good time with my husband and my kids. Food is delicious. We love to eat sushi and pizza. Our most favorite I would say pizza because the dough that they make is amazing.

These are some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The bartender, Sean, has a true gift for mixing drinks and providing a very pleasant level of service; very attentive while letting guests enjoy their evening. We’ll be back for sure and we hope to see you there.

The menu offers a variety of options including steak, fish, and burgers, all cooked to perfection. Guests recommend this place for drinks with friends, date nights, or any celebration.
We had an amazing experience! There was no weight when we arrived, although I would highly recommend you calling ahead. The restaurant sits right on the water and has beautiful views of the Gulf. I am gluten free and I love that they had a gluten-free option for me. Our server, Jennifer, was awesome. The atmosphere was peaceful. The food was delicious. Highly recommend!

David was a phenomenal waiter. Very kind, quick, and knowledgeable! Food was really good and the view was gorgeous! Our party of 7 was seated outside immediately. Love that they had a little kid area if you were to have to wait.

Dinner was delicious! I had the coconut crusted halabet and my husband had the herb crusted chicken. Both were absolutely delicious! Our families had the red snapper, the shrimp and crab cake plate and the Mediterranean salad. They all raved about the dishes! Key lime pie was amazing! Try with a sweet vanilla wafer crust and vanilla bean whipped cream - delicious!

Fish Out of Water is one of the best spots on 30A for an upscale yet relaxed meal. The views of the Gulf are incredible and the atmosphere feels both refined and welcoming. The staff is attentive and professional and the service matches the quality of the food. Post church Sunday brunch here is the best with fresh dishes beautifully prepared and served with genuine hospitality. It draws a high clientele that appreciates great food great views and an easy coastal vibe that never feels pretentious.

Our server Galina was fantastic! She helped me choose gf/df foods and they were all mouth-watering delicious. We even ordered some food to go! I would reorder all of the foods I ate and then some.
Brittney M — Google review
This place is beautiful and the view itself is worth some of the food not being that good. I had the shrimp and grits and it was very weird. It wasn’t bad, but also wasn’t amazing - S&G have to be amazing. It was tomatoy and had some pieces of meat, not what I’m used to, specially compared to what you get in NOLA. Our waiter was a little bad too. She would disappear at times and we had to wait a looong time to ask for something. The bartender was great. The rest of the food my group ordered was very good-hush puppies were super tasty. I recommend this place. The service and the food not being what I expected I think is a minor thing that just needs some adjustments. Thank you for your attention to this matter TFP

This place was incredible. Wasn’t there for drinks and happy hour prices were really good and reasonable had an incredible view. One of the best restaurants on the water in 30 a. Highly recommend it happy hour. I had some really good deals little limited.

We went here after seeing the good reviews and the beachside scenery. The scenery did not disappoint and most of the food was very good! We highly recommend the mac and cheese and the bacon and pimento. We also really liked the shrimp and grits. They mentioned a new menu was started only the last week and I think they have some things to work through. I also think the fry oil was dirty, all the fried items were kind of sub par in taste and quality. I also had to send back a piece of fried chicken because it was 80% breading with almost no chicken. All of the salt brined chicken was served extremely dry. We were also served a $40 beef filet cooked well done all through the middle. Having to send entrees back and wait another 15 minutes ruined the main course in my opinion and I have rated as such.

BEST playground we have found since moving to the area! Toddler playground, big kid playground, lots of things to climb on including multiple rock climbing platforms and a dome, see-saw, car and plane for toddlers, splash pad, and even a skate park. There are lots of swings including a toddler swing, tire swing, and an accessible swing! There are bathrooms including a family restroom (no changing table though) and there is a pavilion with a grill and picnic tables. And there is a walking trail! Hands down best park in the area!

Now with a new concrete skate park! Soccer fields, football and baseball, softball fields. The county does excellent work watering, cutting and grooming these fields. Look and work great. Also a fun little park and splash pad right next door for younger kids.

Nice clean park with good fields for soccer and baseball. There is a splash park for the kids in the summer as well. Can't wait until they add the skate park later this year!

Busy place on the weekends for all the sports teams to compete. More designated parking areas along with shaded covered areas for spectators would make this park a more welcoming facility.

The Chroma and Kathleen Broaderick paint night experience is TOP NOTCH! As a fellow artist, I love to take classes and learn from other artists and this is the best paint night I’ve been to. The whole experience from the professional level paint, brushes and canvas to the wonderful teaching skills of Kathleen, a night at Chroma is well worth your time and money!

I have honestly wanted to learn how to oil paint since as long as I can remember, but it always seemed very complex until I took a class at Chroma 30a. Kathleen was such a great teacher and honestly launched my obsession with oil paints. There’s no way you can not enjoy one of her classes. I have even reached out to her with a couple questions afterwards and she has been so helpful and encouraging. I look forward to my next class.

Justin is my favorite local artist but I hadn’t stopped to check out his gallery until yesterday. I’m so glad I did! It was warm and welcoming with a fun layout to explore and even touch his art! I had so much fun looking at all of his incredible work in person. Highly recommended.
Colleen K — Google review
I'm not an artsy person, but this place was recommended to us by family. I was extremely impressed by his artwork. It was really neat to see how his art literally pops off the canvas. The 3D look is awesome and the colors are great. You can just walk on in, chat it up with the people working and ask questions. There's the bottom floor and top. The whole thing was beautiful. We took about 30 minutes to look at everything. It was worth the bit of a drive to see. People into art can easily stay longer.

The Best Art Gallery on 30A hands down. Justin's work is like nothing else I've seen--3D paintings?!?!

Unique gallery. The work had a texture we've never seen before. The 3D appearance made the work a style of it's own. We actually picked up some of his textured materials to bring back to Kentucky with us to experiment with.

Nanbu Noodle Bar in Grayton Beach offers a unique blend of Asian cuisine with the warm hospitality of the Deep South. The restaurant serves up a variety of dishes including ramen noodles, noodle bowls, poke bowls, and dumplings, with options for vegans and those who are gluten-free. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make for an enjoyable dining experience. Customers rave about the delicious food, particularly highlighting the Korean beef BBQ yaki noodles and pork miso ramen.
Wayne(host/waiter) was our guy on this food adventure. 5 ⭐ for him on this visit . My 16 year old son discovered this place while on vacation and had to take us there. Needless to say, it was a HIT! This is a cozy place with a great atmosphere. The menu has too many great things to choose from for one trip. We feel good about our selections. The 🍶 sake flight was wonderful...I really enjoyed the chance to try the different flavor profiles in one sitting. Oh, the food was delicious and shared by all. We loved this place!!

Man I don't know what happened. Been coming here since 2020 and the last 3 times I've went were just plain weird. This is my tuna roll that they rolled for me. $17. Also why are they so big now? Used to be my favorite "cheap" place to eat on 30A after working all day. Wayne if you're reading this, you're great. This is nothing against you our family has loved the staff but I'm just sick of the inconsistency. From undercooked pork dumplings to poorly made sushi rolls.

I had the Faroe Island Salmon Poke Bowl 🥣 Filled with rice, ponzu, tangerine, pickled beets, ginger, scallion, cucumber, avocado and wasabi peas.. it was absolutely delicious! Wait was minimal, staff was friendly, price was modest, and the atmosphere was laid back & relaxed. Stop by when you’re near Grayton Beach 🏖️ #florida

Quaint shopping center and eatery. Service was wonderful and attentive. We enjoyed the appetizers very much. My favorite appetizer was the pork belly buns, they come in two per plate. I ordered the spicy tuna poke bowl. It was a bit dry. My husband ordered the beef bento and thought it was ok too, not something he would order again.

Good Food and Amazing service. We brought our 5yo and baby with plenty of options for kids to eat. Parking can be tight depending on the time and day. The portions are larger than expected. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine. We ordered from lunch menu, sushi isn't served till dinner.

My review got removed accidentally 😢 I really enjoyed my meal at Nanbu Noodle Bar. The food was great, highly recommend the Ramen. My only comment is the broth was a little sweet for my taste, I tend to prefer a more traditional salty broth. The décor was fun and well done. Even when busy there was plenty of places to sit and get a bite to eat. They served a nice variety of Sake and Japanese drinks. For those who prefer there was also high quality bottled sodas. I loved this place and would happily go back if I am in the area again.
Micah F — Google review
Nanbu's location along 30A near Grayton Beach was a welcome sight for us after having American-style food for a couple of days. The change to Asian-style meals and seafood was both refreshing and comforting. I thoroughly enjoyed the ramen dish with its various options, authentic and savory broth, hearty noodles, tasty veggies, and fresh herb garnish. The poke bowl was equally impressive with its presentation, delicious flavors, and high-quality tuna/salmon. The highlight of our visit, however, was the exceptional service from the staff, who greeted everyone with big smiles and made our experience even more enjoyable. I also appreciated the Caribbean twist in the upbeat music playing during our visit. Overall, I would definitely recommend Nanbu for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

Goatfeathers Seafood Restaurant is a casual American eatery and fish house that has been serving customers since 1988. The restaurant features a full bar and an attached retail market. Lunchtime offers a quieter dining experience with slightly lower prices, making it an ideal time to visit. The friendly and efficient staff, such as server Lindsey, adds to the enjoyable atmosphere.
We decided to stop by this place for late lunch today. This place catch of the day for today was the triggerfish. It was fresh and flavorful. The salmon has lots of seasoning including pineapple which add a great flavor. The hush puppy was good with a hint of sweetness. The oysters were great. The shrimps were fresh. They even have the kids menu which was nice. The kids menu including the virgin frozen drinks was a nice touch. One kid picked virgin pina colada while the other kid pick coke. We had alcoholic pina colada drink and mango beer.

We tried this place for dinner after a friend recommended it. Parking is not great but the food is! Elevator was inoperable so that sucked for my elderly mom who had to climb the many stairs to the restaurant above. Smallish in size but we didn’t have a long wait. The red snapper special and amberjack (fish of the day) was delicious! Fried green tomatoes, Gouda grits, and Parmesan potatoes made for great sides. The biggest and best surprise were the hush puppies- YUM!!! A little sweetness to the meal 😋 Also, we were pleased with the kids’ menu offerings. I wish I remembered the server’s name as he made our experience even better!! Overall yummy food but would caution for those where accessibility is an issue.
Mai L — Google review
We ordered the grilled and blackened shrimp, fish and chips, a salad with fried shrimp, and Alfredo. The food had mixed reviews with the grilled and blackened shrimp being the favorites. The customer service was good. It did seem pricey for the quality, especially concerning the Alfredo and the fried food that we ordered. There isn’t a view, which was what we were looking for this evening. Overall it was a good experience.

Really enjoyed my meal! It had been about 30 years since my last visit. I went as a kid with my family and got a t-shirt that I wore until it was more holes than shirt. My only complaint is that there wasn’t anyone in the shirt area so I could buy a new one. I got the fish and shrimp. Plenty of food, and all of it was hot and delicious. Hush puppies, fries, slaw, all really tasty. This location has a cool water feature running over the windows on the back of the restaurant that adds to the atmosphere. Service was quick and the staff was attentive and welcoming. Great experience all the way around!

We’ve been hearing about Goatfeathers for years and I’ve never been able to come eat here. This restaurant had the best crabcakes the best shrimp and grits, and incredible Brussel sprouts. It’s very casual, laid-back and great service.

Very cool vibes, love the oyster shells on the walk up to the restaurant, and the waterfall windows were neat! Our food was delicious and had very generous portions, one appetizer and one entree was enough to split amongst me and my husband, and didn't break the bank! If we lived closer, we'd be back all the time!

Basmati's Asian Cuisine is a small, intimate restaurant along 30A that offers a mellow and cozy atmosphere. The menu features a variety of Pan-Asian eats, including sushi and other delicious dishes. Guests have praised the fresh and well-presented food, with highlights such as gyoza, seaweed salad, Asian salad with ginger dressing, snapper special, and chicken fried rice. The attentive and knowledgeable servers make dining here a delightful experience.
This was a great restaurant. Service was wonderful although they were really busy when we came so the food was slow. I did have better sushi (at Old Florida Fish House) but it was still good and our fish was wonderful as was the salad. I would absolutely not miss the fried rice. It was spectacular. Our server tried to talk us into a half portion and we didn't listen. Get the half portion. I don't know a scenario in which you'd get the full portion. Lol Great meal!

Our experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing — especially with the sushi. The fish was not fresh, and it was immediately noticeable both in taste and texture. The cuts were large, uneven, and far from the delicate, precise presentation you’d expect from any place that takes sushi seriously. Clearly, sushi is not this restaurant’s strength, and I would strongly recommend they focus on other menu items instead. We had higher hopes based on the overall reviews of the place, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning. If you’re craving quality sushi, this is not the place.

I am a local and I have been to Bowman many times and the service is always been excellent tonight. Went to my disappointment. It took forever to even get a drink. Our appetizers came before our drinks and our table was never cleared when we finished our food and then it took forever to get our dinner by then we were exhausted and didn’t want to eat our waiter kept saying we’re short staffed not my problem and the food was good we had the soup and the calamari But this is not normal for Bosses MATTIE‘s horrible horrible service.

Not a lot of vegan options. Food was okay but the sushi was small sized and very expensive. Atmosphere and service was good.

Was excited to try this restaurant and have some good sushi. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was nice but extremely loud even in the "outside" seating area. The menu was stained with food. Sushi was just ok and we had to ask for soy sauce and chopsticks..... kind of a given I would think. Nothing was horrible with the food but nothing was great or made us want to go back. Then we noticed the prices on the menu did not match what we were charged especially for the drinks. Would have been nice to know ahead of time there is an extra fee for using a card... we would have paid cash. The whole experice just wasent what we expected from the area and the type of restaurant this seemed to be.

Basmatis was recommended to us by a few folks and we thought we’d check it out. Plenty of gravel parking out front and we were sat immediately for our reservation. Reservation is not required and there was plenty of seating for walks ins. Overall, I’d recommend the Caesar, Red Dragon sushi roll and red snapper dish. The rest of our meal was sub par. Our server, Jesse, was great and knew his stuff. I would have given more stars if the restaurant had more space and the sushi was better prepared.

We went here as we have a discount book we bought earlier in the year and have yet to use. We drove for half an hour to get here. A pretty little place, very intimate. We were shown to our table after being offered either indoor or outdoor (screened) seats. We asked if our discount was valid as the table was being laid and were told we could. Unfortunately the grouper my wife wanted had sold out. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Our starters arrived promptly and the presentation was second to none. However, for me the flavours just weren't there. Maryland style crab cakes are my favourite, they just didn't do it for me unfortunately. The wife had a selection platter. She also agreed it was nice, but not amazing. I also ordered spring roll which was again, beautiful fresh and presented, but lacked in punch. It certainly wasn't horrible. Our mains were brought out at a good point after the starters, my wife had a half portion of fried rice with shrimp and I had the bbq duck. My duck was fantastic - the flavours were great much more like what I expected. Cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. The shrimp fried rice was also nice, not fantastic and had some rather large lumps of onion in it. The shrimp were huge, which meant there wasn't that many of them. We then shared a coconut cake for dessert. That was very nice. However it all fell apart when we presented our discount. We were told we couldn't use that with the fried rice as a meal. We spend $160 between two of us, yet we hadn't spent enough to meet the requirements. That was very disappointing. And the meal certainly wasn't worth $160 (Inc tip) unfortunately. I doubt we would go back, which is a shame.

Basmati’s was nothing short of AMAZING! Food, service, atmosphere were top notch! Highly recommend the pupu platter for first timers. We had the feeling frisky sushi roll and it didn’t disappoint. The snapper and the grouper were outstanding! We’ll definitely be back.

La Chalupita Mexican Market is a fantastic establishment with delectable cuisine, generous portion sizes, and a delightful ambiance. It offers an array of authentic dishes that closely resemble homemade meals, accompanied by substantial servings at reasonable prices. The diverse selection available is truly impressive, incorporating an abundance of spices, chilies, meats, and cheeses. This hidden gem also provides the convenience of shopping for groceries alongside enjoying a fulfilling dining experience.
My favorite taco spot in the area, hands down! I visit here every time in town and only wish to visit more.

The food was pretty good but the menu isn't all that great if you have food allergies. My husband has alpha gal and cannot eat any red meat. He ordered the chicken burrito. There were cutup pieces of hotdog inside and it was not listed on the menu. Luckily I ordered it as well and found it before he could eat it.

Went here for the restaurant and it’s an authentic Mexican place. The milanesa torta was delicious. Also got the chicken flautas were way better than expected. The sauce bar was a good addition

Decent market with lots of authentic options. Dry good and fresh fruits and veggies. They also have a small restaurant with lots of choices. I really like the tacos and the quesadillas! The parking lot isn’t huge but I’ve never had a problem finding a spot. I normally order my food ahead is time so it’s ready when I get there.

didn't try the restaurant part of it, but based on how busy it was, I would definitely try... the pork skin with meat or "chicharrón con carne" is one of the best I've tried in the US, The juices were okay but maybe a little too water down for my liking. would visit again for sure

Authentic Mexican food The cuisine is garden-fresh and delicious. The prices are unbeatable. Our family of 5 ate for under $50, including tip. This is where Latinos go to eat. There was a line out the door waiting to eat here. 10/10 will definitely eat here again!
