Chicken sandwich was very good. Brisket French dip was good however the au jus tasted like warm water very bland. same goes for the beans and rice no flavor. Sweet potatoes I recommend. dinning outside was nice. Staff was great!

Ill start when we arrived there was "complimentary" valet parking. But there was plenty of parking available and was unsure why the valet was even needed. As far as drinks there was some delicious specials including a chocolate banana drink that was terrific. The food was good, at our table we tried a protein bowl, fried fish, and shrimp. It all tasted delicious and was filling. Dessert I decided to get their friend cheesecake and wished I had gotten 2 with my 1st bit. But found the serving size to be perfect for my sweet tooth. Service was average nothing bad nothing outstanding.

Excellent grub and wonderful atmosphere! Had the Sandbar Bomber Burger and it was delicious. Whoever thought to put a tortilla on the plate to make a taco with all the toppings that fall off as you're trying to eat the burger is a genius. Make sure to check out when they have live music as it was such fun listening while enjoying our meal. 10/10 would recommend

Great food and atmosphere. It's a literal sandy bar and restaurant with sand on the floor. Drinks were good but service was a little slow. They were really busy though. The kids meal came with a bucket which was adorable and my son loved it! It was a little expensive but it was totally worth it after spending a day at the beach. Oh and they also do military discount but only for the veteran and not for the entire meal (we appreciated it regardless!).

We had a good time at SandBar. I love the fact that it was open air with sand beneath your feet! It definitely had the perfect vibes for a beach vacay. The food and drinks were really good - your typical American bar/grill food with burgers, sandwiches, some tacos, etc. We enjoyed that there was live music, though I tend to be more of a “enjoy conversations” person and always wish the music was just a touch quieter. The biggest downside with the open air was that, as soon as our food arrived, the flies descended. We were at another restaurant that provided table fans when the food was served for this reason, so something like that could be nice. We spent the meal swatting them away. My kids and I are rather skittish with bugs, so that was a little unpleasant, but it wouldn’t stop us from coming back. You get what you get when you chose to dine al fresco!

Fun place! They had a band playing 70s, 80s, 90s music. Watched the sun set while sitting next to the water. Big ole cheeseburger. That's like heaven for me! Highly recommended if you like any of the above!

This place was perfect for a long and relaxing lunch! You absolutely must try the coconut margarita and the coconut encrusted mahi mahi! Don’t forget to ask for Heather - she is lovely and gives amazing suggestions!

My husband had the Caesar salad (his go-to!) and said it was amazing — the grilled chicken was perfectly cooked. We also tried the buffalo cheese dip, and it was excellent. A great experience all around — we’ll definitely be back!

Incredible joint! Excellent service and scrumptious food. I'd be tempted to travel all the way from TN in the future just to eat the Seafood cakes and Grouper Rockefeller again. Make sure to get there for dinner before Happy Hour ends to get a pull tab at the bar. The Mule was great but the Rum Runner was the hit of the night. 10/10 would recommend!

Cool bar right by the beach with awesome food and drink options. The happy hour pull tab game is a awesome addition to make the experience more fun. We sat at the bar and the staff was right with us even with a bar full of regulars. The drinks and food came out fast and fresh! We got some bomb nachos that were just covered in some fantastic boom boom shrimp. They definitely did not skimp on anything, you get a lot of food at a great value. The prices are extremely fair and great for what you get. This is definitely a place I'd add in my rotation and a great option for any beach day.

After 2 hurricanes within 2 weeks of one another back In September of 24', this place kicks ass. Clean, food is amazing. Drinks are spot on. Must try. Highly recommend

Came in with a group of 7 and we all had a great meal. My favorite highlights were the seafood cake appetizer and the massively huge slice of coconut cream pie. But we tried a little of everything and it was all good. The Cole Slaw was a little bland, it could use a little vinegar or lime juice in it and the coconut martini could use a better garnish than just a cherry. But would definitely come back again. Service from Sydney was great too!

Nice place, especially for a stop after the beach. This place can hold loads of people with both outdoor and indoor seating and has live music. Service was excellent, and the food was very good but somewhat pricey, but you get what you pay for. Drinks were cold and reasonable. I'll definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Stump Pass Beach State Park Manasota Key Florida $3 to get in small parking lot well secluded and so many shells...well worth it! Definitely do-able again and again!! If I lived here I would come here 3-4 times a week! The water was gorgeous and we saw some dolphins playing in the water! There might have been 40 people spread out here at this beach...so gorgeous w my cousin Shari

Awesome spot! There was a huge amount of shells from the recent storm. It was like 3 feet deep. There's shark teeth all over but you gotta figure out what to look for or you'll miss them. We saw a dolphin here and lots of birds. My son found a ton of sea slugs and baby fish. Very family friendly and peaceful. I'd recommend this spot!!

The staff was amazing 😍! Beautiful State Park, get there early and get in line for parking. Remember parking is limited and a privilege. It's the most beatific beach in Florida! The sand and water were perfect. Great spot for shells.

Stump Pass is a nice beach. The parking area is small so if you don't get there early you might not be able to park. However, it also means it's not very crowded. The beach is on a sandbar area and on one side there were jellies swimming about. The staff there are super friendly and helpful and we found some really nice shells.

One of the best kept not so secret beaches in the area. After the hurricane milton they had to move a lot of sand before they opened again, now its open and beautiful. Still under development in some parts but overall a great beach spot.

Closest to NY slice in all of englewood. Good sauce. Huge flop to slices. Too much cheese making grease. Crust airy and not too chewy. No crisp. Sauce 2 Cheese 1.3 Undercarriage 1 large flop Crisp/chewy ratio 1.2 no crisp, not too chewy Crust 1.5 airy not too chewy Overall 7.0. Best ny slice you are going to find in englewood.

Little hole in the wall pizza place some may frown on its condition but, the owner was super nice and I had the best slice of pizza I've had hands down! Didn't get a chance to have the well talk about lasagna. I had the calzone and it was excellent as was the meatballs and meatball sub. they have a place outside to sit but I believe most order ahead and pick up! I'll be back.

Excellent! We were greeted at the entrance of the parking lot by the owner himself and he helped us park. We were seated immediately and chose to sit outdoors. Awesome atmosphere as they had live music and the weather was perfect for having breakfast on the water. The food was delicious and service exceptional. We witnessed the owner and wait staff helping a boat dock as well. I highly recommend this place! I wish I would have taken more photos but this is one of the view from our table.

Beachcomber is a lovely place to eat, it has spectacular seating on the water and plenty of it. The particular dish I ordered (wish I could remember) was a bit bland, but the burgers are phenomenal and so are the fries. The menu is small as well, so there’s only a few options unless you’re going to the specials menu. They had a great selection of drink specials, but what really made this place great was the AMAZING baked goods and coffee inside. If you catch yourself passing the area and don’t have time to sit and eat, the pastries and coffee alone make it worth a stop in. There’s also an extremely friendly and adorable cat that likes to hangout out front so that definitely earned this place some points.

We had such a great experience here! The drinks were spot on — refreshing and perfectly made. The highlight, though, was the strawberry shortcake dessert… absolutely incredible! Light, fresh, and so delicious — truly the best place we went in Englewood! Highly recommend!

Such a clean and aesthetic restaurant! There was so much seating, indoor and outdoor. The menu is limited though the prices are reasonable and there are many drink options! We were actually kind of disappointed with our experience at Beachcomber. I have not left many non-5-star reviews. The menu selection was small, and really only offered very basic options that seemed like they could make with a minimal kitchen. The service was also very slow; we actually wondered if we’d been forgotten about after ordering drinks. We did really enjoy the views and vibe. There was live music, and we actually saw a dolphin swimming around in the canal. We also saw a pelican and snowy egret.

Beautiful views, great food, super nice family! We absolutely love this place. UPDATE: been back 4 or 5 times, wonderful every time. Saw dolphins up close in the canal. Pelicans diving. Watching the boats come & go. OMG try the BOOZY DOLE!! Staff are always so nice. Live music often. This place is magical and is my favorite.

Really can’t say enough great things about this place. Family owned, beautiful setting, great management. You instantly feel like you’re on vacation in the tropics. We ate lunch, went for a bike ride, and came back for dessert - worth a trip here just for the soft-serve pineapple / vanilla ice cream on a sunny Florida day!

More than what you expect from the outside. Biggest cheese plate ever 🤤. Crab cakes were good. Some apps served on slate plates which could make them heavy but look pretty. This area is right on the water. Although the majority of the restaurant is outside there is a small bar and a few tables on the inside. Good wine options for your food choices.

This isn't just about beets and you'd like it even if you didn't like beets. House made blackberry sangria? Just say "yes". Tonight's dinner for me was a thick cut pork loin over sweet, creamy grits with asparagus & hubby got the grouper tacos. Both ridiculously great. And that's not just the sangria talking. 🤫 It's a little pricey at $25 - $40 per dinner entree, but you can order from the lunch menu all day as well if you want the same quality on a budget. Location and food were great! The outdoor area is on the bay and we watched dolphins swim in to chase fish😊 The Cuban sandwich was delicious and the egg potato salad was tasty. They have many wines to choose from- the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was crisp and delicious🥂 The guava infused key lime pie with fresh berries was divine... will definitely be back🌅

Love the local fresh fish options that Farlows has to offer. We had the Tuna Nacho to start, good, but I do wish they cut the tuna into smaller pieces instead of strips. It made it messy to eat. The Grouper Cheeks were good, but I didn't think they would be deep-fried. Good, but not as expected. The St. Croix items were very good!! Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and popular spot for locals and visitors. Reservations are highly recommended.

Amazing food...fish was very fresh and delicious! I had the Caribbean delight combo, then we had the puff pastry blackened grouper and the golden tile fish! All were excellent! Great atmosphere sitting by the water and live music..truly a great place to eat. 4 stars because it was very expensive.

Went to Farlow’s tonight for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Our server Hannah was excellent and on top of everything. We sat outside and enjoyed the live band. The salad with the house dressing was amazing. Drinks were great and meal was superb. Will definitely be back!

What a lovely spot! We ate outside under the canopy where they had a fellow playing guitar. Golden oldies but it created a nice ambient atmosphere. Our server was lovely despite my English accent asking for a Buddha IPA and of course it sounded like Butter to her! 😁 She was so sweet trying to decipher it!! On to the food, gosh it was lovely! We started with the barbados mussels then I had the scallops. With were delicious but quite rich so come hungry! Or take it home like we did! Dinner sorted for tonight!! 🤣 Highly recommended!

Pretty good food and service. The atmosphere could be SO MUCH BETTER! This restaurant is directly on the water but you can’t enjoy it because they have hedges blocking the view…why? Cut those down, or trim them drastically, to allow the view. Also, the wine by the glass list needs to be improved. They have some good wines available but only by the bottle. My wife and I will generally have one glass (I might have two) and buying a bottle is overkill. The band that was playing was pretty good and the volume was perfect as well.

Theresa was very attentive and very kind, fantastic service! We got buffalo chicken egg rolls which were delicious and crispy. The grouper basket with fries was cooked perfectly and not dry at all, great flavor. The club was also super fresh and delicious. Generous portions and also very good drinks.

Purchased a shirt with the price on the tag of $9.98. They charged me $18. I went back to get the price difference. The lady argued that the bealls price was the correct price and the $9.98 on the tag was the Nordstrom rack price and they wouldn’t honor it. I walked out without a shirt and they smiled and told me to have a nice days knowing I was irritated.

Shopped with my friend while visiting her favorite store on vacation last Friday. We were so excited about me visiting here for the first time! My friend ran into a horrendous situation during self check out. She asked the very dismissive sales lady to assist her with a glitch in the self check out kiosk, only to be humiliated...she verbally assaulted my friend, instead of helping her with her purchase, she admonished her for cutting the line. My friend was embarrassed!.. and as a devoted customer? Left. Unreal. Do better! My friend is Still upset, since she has been a loyal and devoted customer since 2018.

Welp, unfortunately for the short haired blondish lady at the englewood location you are at the center of this review. All I needed was my size shoe, I saw her walking toward me and figured she was going to help me find a my shoe size which the rack got organized by a 4 year old so, I was happy at first but it’s currently 7:54, she comes back next to me and asks my size then randomly and quickly checks a couple pairs on their super small shelf and then says very rudely “oh well we’re cling in a minute so come back tomorrow” ……. Boat ride was a blast heading out there and music was entertaining. The dunk they do once you’re out parasailing always feels amazing! The crew gives a fun experience and it’s definitely worth the try!! 10/10

What an experience!! We are from Illinois and the one thing my son wanted to do was parasailing. I am so glad we ended up here. Captian Ryan and Captian Dimitri were fantastic! They made the trip so fun. I was a little anxious and they were so great at putting me at ease, they also had something to help with any sea sickness. It was the most amazing experience. I highly recommend stopping to see these guys. My son had the best time, the Captian even let him drive the boat. 100 out of 10 recommend! Next time we are in the area we will definitely be back!

We grew up in the area, and for some reason neither of us have ever gone parasailing. I had a day off in the middle of the week, so decided to book with Englewood Parasailing since it’s close to home. *If you wait and pay cash the day of, you get a free shirt * It was really easy to find, and when we got there, we didn’t have to wait long. There were 5 flights at the time we went, but there was plenty of room on the boat for everyone. The captains had great personalities, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job. They had fun music playing and made even the most nervous of passengers feel at ease. There was a small situation with one of the people on board, and they handled the situation with nothing but grace, easing her embarrassment, which was fantastic to see. We were up in the air for about 10ish (maybe more) minutes, and got dipped a couple times. Even with some areas of the beach still looking a bit rough from the hurricanes, the views were still brilliant. The prices were fair enough that we’ll definitely go again.

Can't understand how this "pizza" place won so many awards for great pizza? Just my humble opinion from a man who has been eating pizza from coast to coast, grew up in Chicago, spent many summers in NY,NJ,. I have tried tgin, thick, Pan, Deep dish, etc. This pizza is about a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. The place was clean, bathroom excellent, our server was attentive to all our needs.

Mama’s is a cozy little Italian restaurant with a large menu. Great pizza and awesome Stromboli along with many chicken, veal and pasta dishes. You can’t go wrong with a visit to Mama’s. Fast take out as well with large portions.

We ordered a pizza over the phone at 8:40 PM, knowing the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM. We weren’t sure if they'd take a late order, but they did which we appreciated. However, before my boyfriend even hung up, someone on the phone said, “Well, we close in 20 minutes so… we hope to see you before then,” which came off a little passive-aggressive. I get that late orders can be frustrating, but the tone just felt unnecessary. When we arrived around 8:50, one of the staff—who was younger and friendly—initially asked if we were picking up for someone else. After we corrected her, she smiled and went to check on our order. But then another woman smirked and said to her, “Well, you would’ve lost that bet,” and they both laughed. It felt like they were making jokes at our expense, which made the interaction a bit uncomfortable.That said, they did offer red pepper flakes and parmesan, which was a nice touch, and our pizza came out shortly after. The pizza was decent, and I know from past visits that their pasta is genuinely great. It’s a solid spot overall—just felt like the vibe from the staff this time around was a little off, which took away from the experience a bit.

Absolutely horrible customer service! Calling out the older, dark skin gentleman, if you where my worker i would fire you! I ordered a peach sunshine evergy through the drive thru and got a guava refresher. I went back in to get the problem fixed and he got angry, re made it and slammed it on the counter and walked away. And also made it wrong, I don't even know what he made me, doesn't taste like it at all! The peach refresher is orange btw

Sometimes the sweet tea is great but for the last 2 or 3 times it wasn't freshly made. It was terrible, older and tasted soured . Your food, coffee ☕ and sandwiches plus doughnuts are good it's just that I like ice tea and freshly made. Please check it each day. I understand you get extremely busy and finding the time to do everything right is a challenge in these days.

Been coming to this location since I moved here two years ago. The staff are all so sweet. They do their best and work hard. You never have to wait a super long time (unless it’s a customer causing the issues). Thanks for making me smile and giving me caffeine!

went to order an evening drink, some man was talking and a woman but the dude was very rude i told him my order and he kept saying “what” in a disgusted tone. Didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. The woman defended him even though he was obviously very rude. If you don’t mind your order taker being completely rude then sure go here. Otherwise, starbucks is just up the street, tastes better, and are alot nicer!

Whatever man was working today was so rude. I went through the drive through and was extremely nice gave my one drink order. I go to the window and a lady cashed me out, she was nice. The man came over to the window to hand me my drink and just stares at me with a rude expression on his face holding my drink in his hand. He looks at me for a good 5 seconds with my drink in his hand before rudely shoving it into my face. Then I say “thank you” and he continues to stare at me with the same expression holding my straw. After another 5 seconds of him just staring at me with this awful look like I did something wrong to him he then shoves my straw into my face… again I say “thank you” and he just continue to stare. Then he slammed the window shut. Mind you I went at 4:30pm. I was the only person there, not like they were busy or anything. Makes me feel uncomfortable even drinking this drink. Management really needs to do a better job on who they hire.. I am in the service industry and would never treat someone like that even if I was having a bad day.

Went before closing. Like still open hours maybe 20 min before close. They locked the doors up, and I called to see how to order donuts. They said they didn’t have the donuts anymore and only had iced coffee. How do you CLOSE early before closing and trash the donuts before close? What a waste of time, gas, and my 3 year old daughter’s excitement. She’s been asking all day for them. So after dinner we said yes, ran to the store just for the guy to answer the phone with a poor attitude 20 min before closing as we are at the door and asked “where are you” and I said we’re here. And he just gave me silence so I asked do we come through the drive thru? He said yes. Just to say but all we have is iced coffee. I said no donuts?! So with that said- Terrible that they close store early and just ignore customers at the door.

All I wanted was a medium hot chocolate and HALF. a dozen donuts. Not only did the guy at the register charge me for a full dozen, but after I got through the six I ordered he told me he charged me for 12. He didn’t even offer a refund and told me to keep picking. Not to mention they had just about no options. I also ordered a medium hot chocolate which tasted like water. Gross.

Good Times Diner wasn’t much of a good time, but we made the best of the hand that was dealt to us. The Pros: Large menu with lots to choose from. Plenty of seating and it was well spaced out. Parking was easy. The coffee was good. The pancakes were outstanding. Really outstanding. The Cons: Good lord, where do I start? The service was fairly terrible. Our sever didn’t know the menu when asked about a dish or two. Then, she took our order wrong resulting in food we didn’t really want but were billed for. Prices on the menu didn’t match what we were charged for other items. They were out of bagels. We asked twice for “well done, crispy, bacon”, that didn’t happen. Drink refills were sparse. The tables were cluttered with everything you could possible want, and more cutting into the usable space. In the hallway to the restroom were soaking pans for what looked like utensils, and I think it probably has tadpoles in the water. Next to that was a large, open, garbage can where they scraped the waste and trash. It was out in the open and disgusting. Anyway, guess they are short on kitchen space if they have to keep that stuff in customer plain view. Perhaps we just got them on a bad day, that’s possible. Get burned twice, shame on me; we’ll try another spot next time.

Went to Good Times Diner for breakfast . No healthy items or many side options, and what we ordered was not so good. Scrambled eggs were flat, overcooked, brown, and dry. Bacon was good; crispy and warm. Omelet also overcooked and brown. Barely any cheese. Hash browns were tasteless, and english muffin was barely toasted; soft and chewy and was "buttered" with something that did not taste like real butter before it arrived to the table. Coffee was very good, but hard to get a refill. Old and dark booths, but clean. Breakfast for two included scrambled eggs & bacon (no sides), omelet with 4 toppings/hash browns/english muffin, and 2 coffees... with tip $35.

Walked in and saw that it was a traditional diner and absolute love these things. I only had a small fry as we were waiting to get a haircut, but the service was phenomenal. They were on top of everything and totally above and beyond with making sure we had drinks, refills, and food. When I mentioned I was in a hurry, they visibly worked to do everything in their power to accommodate. Very happy and hope to come back again to try more food.

We went for a late breakfast, and I guess I'd call it more a brunch. The food was super fast and they brought everything we asked for. They refilled our drinks without us asking & The waitress was accommodating without being overly bearing. I had a 3 egg omelet and my friend had a burger & fries. Overall we had a great conversation and meal!

My boyfriend and I came in to the restaurant early Sunday morning, we aren’t from the area but because of the reviews and rating we had to stop in and get breakfast and let me tell you, the customer service was impeccable! The first diner we’ve ever been to that was so attentive and kind, when ever my coffee cup was empty within a minute either one of the servers or the manager stopped by and topped it off. The food was also so good! It’s hard finding a place that serves biscuits and gravy southern style and let me tell you not a drop of gravy was left on my boyfriends plate. We’re definitely coming back and making the three hour driver just for the service and food!! Highly recommend stopping in and getting the eggs Benedict too!!

I've gone twice. Bother weekdays. Service was fast and friendly. 1st time food was perfect. Ordered the same thing the following week and order came back wrong twice. Maybe different cook but wasn't busy. Prices are consistent with diner food affordable with plenty of food to take home. Good luck and enjoy

My husband and I shared the fajitas for two lunch special. For the price, it was good. Lots of food to share. But, the steak was not seasoned. We had to add salt…and towards the bottom, it was burnt to a crisp. The tortillas were nice and warm. The rice and refried beans(although soupy) were good. We definitely weren’t expecting authentic Mexican food here but it gets the job done for the price. If it weren’t for the reasonable prices, we probably wouldn’t come back. Might give their breakfast a try.

Honestly I never write I review… But honestly this is disgusting… Thank God I didn’t took a bite on this… I can’t understand why they don’t use hairnets… It’s frustrating getting home and when I decide to check I see this…

We wanted to try the New Tenders, so we placed a mobile order and went to pick it up. The lady in the window said nothing to me, and then when I was handed my order she said nothing, and closed to window quickly before walking away. I wanted to ask if everything was there since it was one bag for a decent sized order....and of course when I got home I got the sauce for my tenders but not the two orders of tenders I ordered. Its fast food, its so easy and yet this McDonalds either always misses something or gives you cold food

Ordered online 10 mins before we get there. Them we waited for 10 mins at the drive thru and then they told us to park (in handicap spot) and wait which was another 10 mins. At the end they even refused to throw an apple pie in for the inconvenience Terrible place. Slow service. Not professional at all. It was a very disappointing experience

Waited in drive through for about half hour. Ordered in app asking for no onions Quarter Pounder. Had to go inside to avoid slow drive through again. They took forever to remake Burger. The manager offered me a free drink for the inconvenience but already had drinks and said that it would be nice to get fresh fries since they would be cold by the time I got them home with all the waiting. He completely ignored me and walked away. Worst McDonald's experience ever.

I do feel bad to review. I understand sometimes we can’t control things but this bar far was gross especially when a 7 year old nephew finished his soda and saw a dead fly in in his cup

THE LIGHT HOUSE GRILL……NOT McDonalds!!!! Great place to watch the sun set on Lemon Bay. Very friendly staff keep the food and beverages flowing. Always bring our guest for a wonderful time! Why this review of The Lighthouse Grill is labeled to McDonalds I do not know?

I ordered a fish sandwich plain for my wife plus other things at the drive thru. I got home and my wife opened her sandwich and it had cheese and a sauce on it. The ticket I got at the pay window says 1 Filet-O-Fish Plain. Evidently the people up front can't read
