Mile-long secluded swimming beach & a trail that runs through 5 different natural communities.

The parking lot is open. Still only a coupla bucks to park. It's a short walk to Milton pass. Nice quiet beach to watch the sunset.
Stump Pass Beach State Park Manasota Key Florida $3 to get in small parking lot well secluded and so many shells...well worth it! Definitely do-able again and again!! If I lived here I would come here 3-4 times a week! The water was gorgeous and we saw some dolphins playing in the water! There might have been 40 people spread out here at this beach...so gorgeous w my cousin Shari
Awesome spot! There was a huge amount of shells from the recent storm. It was like 3 feet deep. There's shark teeth all over but you gotta figure out what to look for or you'll miss them. We saw a dolphin here and lots of birds. My son found a ton of sea slugs and baby fish. Very family friendly and peaceful. I'd recommend this spot!!
Beautiful area. Heard they are planning to fill in an area caused by hurricane Milton making access to tip of Stump Pass. Let nature be natural I say!
The staff was amazing 😍! Beautiful State Park, get there early and get in line for parking. Remember parking is limited and a privilege. Show courtesy and patience; some of us save up all year to take our family 20 minutes away.. We know it's not far. We live here year round and love our visitors; love us back ❤️. Thank you 😊
It's the most beatific beach in Florida! The sand and water were perfect. Great spot for shells.
Stump Pass is a nice beach. The parking area is small so if you don't get there early you might not be able to park. However, it also means it's not very crowded. The beach is on a sandbar area and on one side there were jellies swimming about. The staff there are super friendly and helpful and we found some really nice shells.
One of the best kept not so secret beaches in the area. After the hurricane milton they had to move a lot of sand before they opened again, now its open and beautiful. Still under development in some parts but overall a great beach spot.

Wide sandy beach rimmed with tropical foliage & trails, plus boat ramps & fishing on the sound side.

Our stay at this beach exceeded expectations. The sand is very clean, the sea water is crystal clear, and the area is well maintained. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it easy to enjoy the sound of the waves. We also appreciated that the beach was not overcrowded, which allowed us to find a quiet spot. This location is ideal both for family vacations and for romantic walks along the shore. We would be happy to return again. 🌊☀️
I came to look for Shark's teeth and I was a bit lost in finding parking. I took a chance and parked next to the public parking area that is fenced off due to hurricane damage. The beach was nice and I managed to sift through the sand. I didn't find any Shark's teeth but it was nice to have the sea breeze blow on my face and have a nice beach day by myself. The water was beautiful and only wish I could wear. The only problem is finding parking but other than that it was a beautiful day and place to visit.
This is one of my favorite places in the United States. It's so serene and chill and beautiful! The community is wonderful!! Hopefully, the town and beach dont get bought up by developers since they've experienced 3 major hurricanes in the past 3 years. It would be such a shame if this low key, quiet oceanside area turned into another expensive dirty tourist area. It is really a very special place!!!
Really nice beach. Plenty of parking. Was kinda crowded for a weekday but snowbirds are starting to show up. Lots of families shark tooth hunting. We were looking at all the beaches in the Venice area. We did stop at Shark Frenzy too. Looks like the area is still recovering from the hurricanes last year. Lots of damage south on the road the beach is on.
Beautiful beach. Warm and mostly clear water. Fishing from the shore was steady all day. Head a little to the south when you enter the beach and it’s less busy. Plenty of parking and clean restrooms. Lots of shark teeth as well!
Really like going to this place find a lot of sharks teeth. Also can see where the turtles come in to lay their eggs and go back out to the sea. Went in May.
Great shells and shark teeth if you’re willing to forage. Didn’t have a problem with parking when we went on weekdays.
Great beach, very clean. Bring your scoops and sifters to find shark teeth! You don't even have to get in the water, sift right from your chair.

White sandy beach with boardwalks, playground, volleyball & basketball courts & picnic shelters.
Slide 1 of 8
Beautiful beach, close walk from parking lot to water, plenty of good restaurants, bars and small shops in walking distance. Pay to park with ParkMobile app. There are usually less crowds at this beach, compared to other nearby Florida beaches. There are lots of shells to find, and shark teeth are common here too! This is a great spot for all ages.
The parking is open again, but sadly the restrooms are not. Nothing but Port of John's lined up. The beautiful Boardwalk is gone there are still no basketball nets. No signs of anyone working on it besides the mowers and blowers who's blaring noise ruined the peace and solitude that you would expect to find at 7:30 in the morning. It's been a year, what's up Charlotte county?
Nice beach that is not crowded, but you will need to pay for parking, via your phone and CC. Found some fossils, enjoyed watching the storms roll by, in front and behind us. Decent facilities, bathrooms were clean, but really need a little more light inside. I recommend this venue to all who are looking for a quiet beach to relax on. *Note* Traffic can be a rough, leave plenty of time before and after your visit.
Nice beach. Sand Is a bit more course than some of the other popular FLORIDA beaches. Sharks teeth wash down from Venice here. So a less crowded spot to look, not always quite as nice though. Pay to park. You need an app. Restrooms are a walk away. Not super close. They have a kiddy park before entering the beach area. It was closed when we went. Not sure why. No signs. Just yellow tape. Lots of seaweed. It was gone after a few days. Bad red tide. Also gone within a few days. Beware of jellies.
With all the red tide problems & rain I've missed going to the beach. So I had to go... I heard RED TIDE was starting to clear up & I wanted to see for myself. The beach was pretty deserted, maybe 4-5 small groups of people were there. I didn't smell anything, which was good but I did have persistent coughing for awhile. I didn't see allot of dead fish, 3 to be exact but I stayed in one area so there may have been more further down the beach. The water was a bit green as pictures show but no one was in the water. I hoped to find shells but no such luck there, workers who combed the beach for dead fish must've collected shells too. So I satisfied my curiosity about red tide clearing up, I believe it is but its not quite ready for normal population. I'll give it a few more weeks & try again.
Unfortunately the tide brought in loads of brown reddish sea grass to the shoreline. Apparently the city should clean it up by the weekend. Also, today the beach was jammed packed around 2ish. Sadly the beach sand was a bit sharp due to excess cut up shells. The sunlight of course was delightful. We totally appreciated the waves splashing sounds too.
A beautiful Florida beach: sandy mix with many shells and an occasional shark tooth. Very new and nice shaded playground, restrooms, boardwalks, picnic areas, basket ball, volleyball, and plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Parking is easy with a kiosk to pay by the hour, which was $.75/hr for us by credit card. The beach tends to get busy.
Nice beach… lots of shells…parking is not free but it is cheap; across the street there a a few restaurants with in and outdoor seating and a few beachwear stores; bathrooms were decent (we went in the morning); the sunset was amazing

Beautiful, and clean! There is so much to do here! We came for a birthday party, but saw so many things to do the next time we visit. I saw two huge fish caught and a very fun atmosphere for my 9 year old. He made so many friends. Gorgeous trees! I can't wait to return!
Loved this beach! Not crowded. I found a Sharks tooth & I wasn't even looking for one. I found a stone that looks just like a piece of wood. Google says it's an Indian artifact. Idk, but it's cool!
Nice beach. Never crowded. Plenty of parking. Safe. Clean and lots of landscaping. If you are looking for a beach that let's you have some space and is slow paced, you'll enjoy this beach. Water was crystal clear.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, natural beach experience, Blind Pass Beach is it. The water is crystal clear (usually), perfect for swimming or just soaking up the view. It’s also a hot spot for finding shark teeth. I found a bunch of small ones without even trying too hard. There’s plenty of space to spread out, and it never feels overcrowded. Bring a sifter and a keen eye, and you’ll leave with some great little treasures! P.s. I recommend wearing water shoes. There’s a shelly area when you enter the water and can hurt your feet.
Beautiful beach. The water was perfect for kids and adults to swim. Lots of turtle nests. I kind of hope they don’t rebuild the road. The second picture are the trails a turtle left coming up the beach to nest and back down to the water.
Such a beautiful beach. I got slammed really hard during hurricane season 2024 but they are working on it. Eventually restrooms and showers will be fixed soon (April 2025). Portable Restrooms are available. Plenty of parking available. Notice you’ll have to drive from the south (Englewood) since the street coming down north (Sarasota) is washed out. It’s still one of the most beautiful places around for shelling and shark tooth hunting. You’ll also find kayak launches and fishing piers there.
our favorite beach with little kids, usually the waves are small and kids enjoy swimming in the shallow waters. you can find many beautiful shells and shark teeth here! plenty of parking and showers available
Lots of storm damage. Bathroom not open. Now using out house. Parking lot is free but lots of standing water . water is nice and shallow

This was a great experience. We spoke to the owner/winemaker John. He was knowledgeable and had some great stories and information. All of the wines were very good, we had 5 types of wine and bought two bottles. The first press Olive oil was very delicious. The shop is small inside but had a lot of interesting items. The classroom was also on the small side, however; everything was organized and very clean. We'll back for sure when we come back to Englewood to visit my folks.
My husband and I stopped by during a trip for our 5th wedding anniversary in October and it was one of the highlights of our trip! John (the owner) is a fantastic and gracious host! He's incredibly knowledgeable about wine and a wonderful and entertaining gentleman to spend an afternoon with. The wine (and olive oil!) are amazing. Definitely worth a stop!
Here for a week on vacation. The owner John is absolutely wonderful and entertaining to boot. I like dry reds and I’m pretty picky about them, very good. I’m a club member at wineries back in Chicago and I must say these were just as good , some even better. My wife drinks sweet wines which he don’t make but these where so good that she enjoyed them as well. Thx John!
We tried 5 wines along with olive oil and balsamic glaze . It was excellent. John the owner is really down to earth and a lot of fun. We brought home some cabernet blend and can tell you this was a very enjoyable experience. We got to meet other couples during our tasting and it was a great time.
We have been to many wine tastings around the country, but Catanias Winery has been the most enjoyable. The owner/winemaker made THIS tasting the best. The wine is excellent!!!! Can't believe this treasure has been in our. backyard for 9 yrs and we just discovered it. Thank you, John, for a outstanding time!
Stopped in today for a quick wine tasting. The 4 of us learned so much and had an excellent time. The owner is an incredible person with great knowledge to share and he’s quite the entertainer as well. This is a must-do for anyone who enjoys wine. The wine is outstanding as well.
It is with sadness that I just learned of John Catania's passing. His hospitality, humor and knowledge of wine was the absolute best. He made you feel like family and always sat and chatted as you enjoyed his wine, olive oil and other Italian delights. I served his homemade sausage and received rave reviews! My only regret is that I did not stock up on his wine because it is the BEST! May the angels come to greet you, John and may your soul rest in peace. My condolences to the family. John was a true Sicilian!
Wonderful wines, vinaigrette and olive oil. The owner is very knowledgeable and shares his knowledge with you. Wednesdays they have dinners and I wish I had been able to go to that. The wines were delicious! Make sure you bring money or check with you as they don't take credit cards

Natural waterfront area with paved & unpaved trails, a boat ramp, picnic areas & a nature center.
Slide 1 of 8
Beautiful scenic park consisting of a kayak launch, partially paved and unpaved walk trails along with educational plaques you can read about eagles, reptiles, butterflies, plants and more. Bikes aren’t allowed on the trails as stated on some signs, but I still saw someone ride in using an eBike which can be hazardous and unsafe. Overall, it’s a park I loved and recommend to many for walking or going for a run. I felt it was also easy to get around and not get lost. On hot days definitely stay hydrated! I also loved that there was plenty of sitting benches along the way. I wish more parks nearby did this. In North Port, the trails barely had any sitting benches. I also liked that they had restrooms here.
Nice wide walking paths. Cleared 5-6 ft on both sides. If you’re afraid of the creepy crawlies this is the path for you. You’ll be able to spot everything in advance. Saw some gopher turtles and an armadillo. There are apparently some bald eagles here but didn’t see them this time
Great place for a short hike or walk. A quiet, serene atmosphere with great views. Cleanup is still going on from the hurricanes so the docks and some paths are closed but overall a great place to visit!
Very nice low key (mid week) place to see a bit of real Florida nature. Surprising amount of trails through pine barren woodland. One area was closed for nesting Bald Eagles! We saw a large turtle near the main building. There are several nice shady benches near the water and small Environmental information center. Small openings along the water allow access for fishing through the Mangroves. Would visit again, especially early in the day if hiking as there may be 5 miles of easy trails here! Worth a visit if in the area!
Nice trails to wander. Easy parking. Restrooms. Views of the water and lots of birds. Benches to rest on on some trails. Covered picnic areas.
A great place to hike along the bay. Nice boardwalks and bridges. Trails are very well maintained and mostly wooded. Spotted tortoise, iguana and eagles. This is a bird nesting area so some trails are closed seasonally. Take only pictures and leave only footprints.
So far my favorite environmental park in Englewood! Nice wide trails and walking bridges with rails for those with mobility challenges. The parking is ample and the handicap spaces are large. The kayak launch is a bit of a walk but worth it. Didn't see any wildlife aside from lizards and squirrels, but we got a shot of a fish close up. Restroom was clean. I only wish the office had been open for educational purposes.
What a fabulous place to walk. The trails are well maintained. Plenty of seating in shady spots. Maps along the trail and trail markers make it hard to get lost. I walked the trail around 3 and it was a great mix of sun and shade. The park boarders the bay and there was a lovely breeze. If you want to kayak there is a launch area not far from the parking lot. The restrooms were clean. The entire park is beautifully maintained. Bonus, plenty of parking. And it’s all FREE!

Nice Park with: Boat ramp Birding Canoe/Kayak Launch Dog-Friendly (Leash Required) Fishing Grills Historical / Cultural Resource Picnic Shelter / Pavilion Picnicking Restroom Swimming
The park is nice except for all the homeless people that come around sunset and sleep on the picnic tables and bathrooms. It's out of control. I feel bad for them but some of the things we saw were unsanitary and a risk to others. Always a nice breeze there.
It's an ok little park. I probably wouldn't recommend it for swimming as there are lots of shells and rocks on the shoreline. Great for shell hunting though. It's still fairly worn from the storms almost a year ago.
A small town park with restrooms, boat access, a small community sailing program. Nice information on an ancient native burial site. Worth a quick stop if in the area.
It’s a beautiful place that took a beating from the hurricanes in 2024. Still worth a visit. Especially for the drum circle on sundays or to watch the sunset. There’s plenty of parking, a boat ramp and a fishing pier. Restrooms are also available.
Another beautiful local park with history. There is a boat ramp here and lots of parking for boat trailers and regular parking for cars. There is a beautiful open area off the parking lot with benches looking out onto the bay. Breathtaking. There are several covered picnic areas with grills. There was only 1 in use, so most likely, there is usually one available. Behind the picnic tables is the burial grounds. There are trails into the grounds. It's beautiful. I really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful seat on the bench watching the water, birds, boats, and the beautiful surroundings. The breeze was amazing, and I am sure at sunset, this would be a great spot. I am sure I will be back to see. It's definitely a nice quiet spot to visit, and I am sure I will be back.
There’s a very nice public boat ramp here. The park is small, but has a nice view. There are a few covered picnic areas and some benches to enjoy the view. The point can be very, very windy. On the day I visited, there was someone flying a kite and a windsurfer - which would be great for that here. This might be a nice place to bring the kids because there is a tiny trail area they can explore and not get lost. The educational part about the local Native American tribe that lived here thousands of years ago is also a nice aspect. There is tons of free parking for both cars and boat trailers.
Great well maintained boat ramp with ample parking. Two slips allowing four boats access at a time. Many different places to launch a kayak. Large covered Pavillion with nice public bathrooms. Also has several small covered Pavillions with grill surrounded by large grass area. Great place to fish, sunbath, read a book or watch the sunset. Awesome family park, just make sure to wear something on your feet if swimming or walking in the water.

Good market, best vendors. As a health-conscious person I like this gluten, dairy and sugar free place. They make amazing chocolate, cookies, unbelievable delicious ice cream and spreads. Highly recommend!
Great boat displays as we couldn't have the annual races dir to hurricane Helene e Milton.
My family has been to this farmers market several times over the past few years, every time we stay on Manasota Key. There's always great food and unique gifts. The honey is great, with several different varieties and flavors as well as unique jewelry, crafts, fruit, seafood, and other items for sale. Highly recommend it!
First time at the local farmers market today and I was VERY impressed. My dear husband is going to have to give me a strict allowance. So many vendors! All quality! Everyone is really nice. Felt good to be there. Looking forward to next week!
So many different options of fruits and vegetables! Any type of lunch available. Music, ect.
I really enjoy this market. They have lots of great vendors who offer a wide variety of stuff. Parking was pretty good, theres a few lots across the street from the market that make it nice to get in & out. I like the location, it's right around all the shops in Dearborn. makes for a good day out
This is one of my "go to" places. There's vendors with any type of food, vendors selling their crafts such as candles, jewelry, clothing, went to Jocelyn Hoch who sells beautiful spiritual & botanical art jewlry. Absolutely stunning creations. So when in Englewood Florida on Thursdays this is the place to be !
Love the crepe guy..even will make them gluten free!! Flowers are amazing at 5$ a bundle. Nicest people too!

I recommend the Cedar Point Environmental Park. The two women working in the Welcome Center were very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The center has several trails to hike. We walked the Big Pine and Jeep trails, both of which lead to Lemon Bay. Definitely wear closed toe shoes that you do not mind getting dirty. There are some wet muddy areas, at least right now, and apply mosquito repellent. There are a few benches along the trails, but not many.
One of my favorite walking parks in the area. Charlotte County does an excellent job maintaining their nature preserves. The primary trail (Keep Trail) is pretty much a straight shot back to the Marianne and Phil Owen Pavilion. It's wide and usually dry, but doesn't have a very nice opening out to the water. There are a few paths you can take from the end to approach and look out onto the intercoastal, but not much else. The best trail is the Big Pine trail. This one loops back into the Jeep Trail in a couple spots but in the middle, it continues onto a sandy beach/dune you can walk onto for a much nicer view of the water. Fortunately, it's still around, even after all of the recent hurricanes. The trail system north of Jeep trail is worth skipping. It backs up to a residential area and there's not much to see. You end up hearing road noise in sections, unlike the other trails. Like others have said, bring insect repellent and wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty; there are several muddy spots, depending on recent rain. Parking can be difficult to find depending on the day and time. Arrive early for the best spot. Also nice, this park has a standard restroom with running water. Cell coverage (T-Mobile) is excellent here, despite a review from a few years ago mentioning otherwise. If you're up for a long day of hiking, the trail system connects all the way to Ann & Chuck Dever Park through a walking path that goes under Placida Road and through Oyster Creek Park. You can also pack a lunch and eat at one of several picnic tables throughout the trail system. Great park worth visiting at least once. Look up and you might even spot a Bald Eagle!
It’s nice that the trails go all the way to the water. Unlike across the street at Oyster Creek, I didn’t have cell coverage in here but the trails have good signage and I don’t think it would be possible to get lost. The trail names are different than how Google maps labeled them with colors. There is also an area where you can view a bald Eagle nesting site from a distance. Lastly, there isn’t much parking (which is free) so many people just park on the side of the road.
Just discovered this nature park and I absolutely love it! Well maintained, lots of trails, many of which go by the water. Great little environmental center.
We went and hiked here for our first time. The volunteer staff were very friendly and they provided information about the cookie house as well as the nature center and the trails! They also provide a trail map. Pretty awesome park but wear your boots. Some trails are a little muddy but still accessible.
What a great walking path in Englewood, Florida! We loved looking for wildlife! We got to see many birds, a black snake, a crab and a lizard eating a snack!
There are many trails to choose from as to which some lead to the water and a small shoreline, with lots of shells. There is Plenty of shade as well as sun throughout the trails. Public restrooms are available if needed near the parking and building. (which were clean 👍) Excellent place for a family day.
What a nice park. Very clean and well maintained. They have a kids play ground, several walking trails, and walking access to the intercoastal waterway. This would be a nice place for a picnic. There are a couple of different picnic areas where the picnic tables are shaded. They have restrooms next to the visitor center.

Went this afternoon matinee to see Sleeping Indoors. The performance was fantastic and the actors were superb. I enjoyed it so much it was heartwarming. This was my first time at this theatre and it won’t be the last. I’ve already booked the show for next month
Just saw a performance of the “Odd Couple” last night. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life! Congratulations to a great cast of comedic performers! Each one was so well cast! When Felix was honking his nose trying to clear his sinuses, I thought I would just die!!!! :-) The theater is small with not a bad seat in the house. Appreciate a way to see great theater without breaking the bank. Looking forward to future shows!
I saw Pie in the Sky at the Lemon Bay Playhouse last night, and it was wonderful. The show was both funny and heartwarming. The cast did an amazing job bringing the story to life, and the intimate theater setting made it feel really special. Highly recommend catching a show here if you’re in Englewood!
This was our first time at the Playhouse. What a delightfully entertaining evening! The theater is small and intimate and you feel drawn into the performance.
Theater is warm and inviting with local cast and crew producing truly enjoyable entertainment. Patrons are friendly and talkative sharing comments and experiences.
I loved it! The Comedy acts were great. All were very good. We will be back! Enjoyed Gid Pool. We laughed so hard. I even stepped on stage before anyone got there to see how it would feel being on stage. Lol Joan Nichols
Saw The Odd Couple, and it was terrific! Enjoyed the performance.
Good entertainment. This playhouse is supported by volunteers. The ticket price is reasonable and if you buy a season's subscription, the price per show is even lower. I have a seasonal subscription. There are a couple of times when I have to change the date of attendance, the change is easy and there are no issues whatsoever. I like to support these local efforts. Although some plays are better than others, it is always a fun night out.

We stumbled upon Myakka State Forest while exploring new hiking spots, and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! The wildlife was incredible—we saw a variety of birds, wild hogs, deer, rabbits, and so much more. It’s such a peaceful and beautiful place to explore. We’re already planning to come back for camping and hunting. Definitely a family-friendly and educational experience for the kids. Highly recommend!
I stayed in the flying a primitive campground at this state forest. Everything here was well-maintained and clean and the Ranger was very friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful place that is close to a lot of things and yet you feel very secluded. There are several lengthy trails that are easy to access and hike. Reservations are required through reserve America. There is a faucet for non-potable water in front of the Ranger station near the road. Great find in Florida!
Earlier in the year I was in my first spruce Forest at Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia, and now in what was like going back to the Jurassic. Coming here to this beautiful Forest. It's been an amazing year
Maybe I picked the wrong trail, but the north loop is nothing impressive. Would be amazing on a horse or maybe a bike. The trail is flat, sandy, and monotonous. Many of the paths could be marked better. It is easy to get disoriented. The forest looks so ethereal from outside but inside, you get the sense that you’re on a big empty lot of land. Lots of construction sounds nearby. Sorry to leave a bad review but hoping to spare some adventurers the time. 😞
Good hiking trails that are quiet and peaceful. This is a great place for active meditation. Movement with introspection. "Are we living our lives with a truly authentic purpose, or are we just blindly playing our role as another cog in the machine?" Something to meditate on.
I camped here 1 night with my best friend. We only camped here because we drove from Massachusetts to Florida and made 2 stops the whole ride. No sleeping. So we needed a place to stop the night. Let's just say its beautiful during the day time. Lol at night I was scared as heck . From the animals making noises and I'm pretty sure it was a gator lmao I ended up going in car to sleep . However again during the day it was beautiful and we had fun.
This place sucks for hunting. All these deer and you cant hunt. To many regulations and hardly any small game to speak of. Basically a nature walk to to much gear. Plus you pay for a permit amd a hunting license then you still have to pay $2 to be in here. They nickle and dime you to death for nothing.
Absolutely a worthwhile place to either visit for a hike or camp out overnight. Beautiful, majestic, and full of unique wildlife. Will absolutely be one of the greatest experiences. Highly recommended and would love to visit again in the future.

One of my favorite trails. Watching it recover from hurricanes and fires over the years shows how nature can rebound. Many wildflowers a crab and, an Eagle nest today.
Cute playground with a lot of fun equipment for the kids, and it’s breezy. My only gripe is that I wish there was more shade in the parking lot and over the play areas. It looks like there once was but they’re down, my guess is from the storms. It would be nice if they were back up. The kids would be able to play more because some of the equipment gets hot in this sun
Very lovely pet friendly park for walking, running, biking, and with kayak launch. It has large paths made of gravel, sand, shell, and dirt with several bridges that cross oyster creek and overlooks for viewing. The length is about 1.8 miles. Note that it does appear to have had a recent fire, and thus a minor burn smell. In areas where there was a fire, the flora and fauna are recovering with some beautiful new plant growth.
Wow, love this pool and lovely rec center along w dog park and wonderful walking trails!
Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park is superb. The lifeguards are professional and very personable. The kids all have fun together and the cliental are all friendly and everyone is there to enjoy themselves. The pool area and restrooms are spotless. The swim area, lap lanes and deep end with the dive board offers something for everyone.
Very large. Fenced-in dog park, has three different fencing areas., one for large dogs, one for small dogs. And a training area. Well maintained. water dog bags and trash available
Very nice park. It has a tennis court, basketball court and a skate park. You can jump into the pool for only $3. The entrance to Cedar point park it's right by the skate park so if you are feeling adventurous you can go for a nice hike. There is also an area for little kids to play in and a little pond at the park with bass (you might see some alligators).
Great partially covered playground, section off by ages. My grandkids love playing on the equipment or playing in the big open grass area. There is a large Pavillion to have a cook out but it's not IMO close enough to the playground itself. There is also nice clean bathrooms on site as well as a bike or walking path through the woods. There is also a skate or BMX park as well. You have to provide your own equipment for that and sign a waver. There I believe is a small fee as well.

We go once a year for diner. Great bar. Good views. Open area.
Great food, beautiful view and boat parking!
Good food and service beautiful scenery crowd can be a lil stuck up but overall good place. Some staff seemed judgemental.
A Big Thanks to Sandy and her team. Sandy and her team were extremely accommodating to lifting and placing our new Cobia 350. The guys were cautious and observant. Much Appreciated guys!! See ya again soon..
We spend a few weeks in Englewood, Florida every winter. We’ve found this place, initially as a boat rental. Now, it is also our go-to for sunsets. The have a “dirty water” rum and pineapple drink that ends the day with perfection. Good food, drinks, view, and very reasonable boat rentals. I love the view across the inter-coastal waterway.
Such a Beautiful place! Great food and great outdoor entertainment!!! And the most amazing sunsets around!
Best marina ever! Shrimp, frozen bait, tackle and lures, abundant selection of Costas, shirts, hats, gifts and BEER (even a good selection of craft beers) and snacks! The Lighthouse Grill is here too! Tiki bar with a twist....the menu is amazing! The smoked pork and chicken melt in your mouth! Best rueban sandwich I've ever had....and I love the smoked wings!
We showed up last Sunday at noon...13 kayaks paddles up and the Dockmaster helped us figure out where to go to get our kayaks out of the water and safely out of the way. The Lighthouse Restaurant was hopping but at the next pier a brunch tent was setup serving all-you-can-eat Sunday buffet as well as bar drinks. We had a wonderful break in the shade, couple of drinks and an hour later on our way again. Our group was heartily welcomed and the tent staff were so helpful and friendly. We all raved about that part of our day trip. Plus you can linger on the Adirondack chairs at the end of the pier and watch dolphins. Awesome.

Beautiful place in my backyard
I really like the park and grilling area but some lady in the Garden area was rude and wouldn't speak to my child when she had a question about the Garden area. So its a great place to hang out with your family
I'm sure it's great, but it is never open when it is supposed to be. What is the deal?
I love this museum. Their staff is also very informative and approachable. Learned a lot and really a must-try experience.
Very interesting place, knowledgeable tour guides, very informative trip! Also the volunteers served strawberry shortcake for $4.
A wonderful place to see tidbits of Old Englewood and some Englewood history. Hours are easy too, Wednesday’s and Saturday’s from 1-4.
Interesting history here and I learned a lot about the area. Many great old photos
Great new location now at the Lamp House at 604 West Perry.

I had a internet issue on a Sunday night, within 2 minutes I received a response, 8 minutes the issue was fixed. Wow! Add to it the awesome service at the dock AND by management! 5starts all day everyday!
Amazing!! Great stay!
Chadwick’s is the best dock in town. Big slips, great location, and Jim is the man. 10/10
