Seafood market
When in Chatham, MA, a visit to the Chatham Pier Fish Market on 45 Barcliff Ave Ext is a must. This market offers an authentic New England experience with its direct seawater tanks and views of fishermen unloading their catch. The menu includes a variety of seafood rolls, sandwiches, lobster bisque, clam chowder, and seafood baskets.
One of the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had! 🦞 The lobster was super fresh with a natural sweetness, and the mayo was just right present but not overpowering. The brioche bun? Toasted to absolute perfection. I also got the clam chowder. It was lighter and less creamy than I’m used to, but still so flavorful that I enjoyed every bite. We sat outside at the picnic tables and looked for seals at the pier afterwards. Didn’t see any so can’t wait to come back!
Tina H — Google review
This place definitely lives up to the hype. The food was delicious. I got the fried clam strips and my wife got the crab cake. We shared a clam chowder which was filled with a lot of clams. The service was pretty quick and went smoothly. Not much seating in the area but everyone was kind enough to share their table with strangers. Everyone was there for just good food. The biggest negative is the parking lot. We got very lucky but parking is very difficult here.
Jane K — Google review
We absolutely loved Chatham Pier Fish Market — the food was outstanding and the setting made it even more memorable. You walk inside, place your order, and the food is handed over through a pickup window, which gives it that casual, authentic fish-market feel. The seafood is as fresh as it gets. The fishing boats are literally a few feet away, unloading their catch. A couple of favorites here are the lobster roll, chowder, and fried fish combos. The portions are generous and the flavors top notch. The place itself is modest and no-frills, with picnic tables or benches outside where you enjoy your meal while taking in harbor views. Because it’s on the pier, you’re right by the water, with gulls overhead and fishing activity happening all around. Restaurant Guru Parking can be tricky in high season — you may have to wait or walk a bit. Go a little early (before peak lunch hour) to avoid long lines.
Peter S — Google review
Phenomenal- the service was great and the food was amazing. We got 2 lobster rolls, one with fries and one with onion rings. The lobster was so fresh and warm, the rolls they came on were perfectly buttered and basically Melted in our mouths. The fries were really good but omg the onion rings were some of the best we’ve ever had. Would come back 10/10 times. Unfortunately we visited during the nor’easter so we had to eat in our car and pretend like we were sitting right next to the water 😂
Hayley D — Google review
Omg. If there was anything cuter than seals slapping each other, blowing bubbles, and laying on their backs I don’t know what it would be. We came here just to see the seals and it was amazing. The smell of fish isn’t too overwhelming either. You can see them unload the fish and everything else is done underneath. Definitely worth a visit.
Brittney G — Google review
Beautiful views and a great way to see the fishing industry in action. The restaurant near the pier is casual and excellent. Parking is a premium so be ready to wait during busy seasons.
Joseph W — Google review
Great experience with the fresh Seafood and the Pier to watch Seals and Fishermen unload their catch. The lobster roll was loaded and super juicy. One of the best I’ve had on Cape Cod. Gets very crowded and parking is tricky but definitely worth a visit.
The A — Google review
we went to go see seals. the deck is large and has a lovely view of the bay. has a bit of a strong fishy smell as to be expected. took two toddlers and they were entranced by the seals hanging out under the deck my youngest started saying seal right then and there. end up taking a tour to monomoy Island boat tour.

Seafood restaurant
Impudent Oyster is an upscale seafood restaurant located in a former church, offering innovative takes on classic dishes. With over 40 years of experience, the restaurant serves up delectable raw oysters and a variety of seafood options such as Portuguese shrimp, scallops, and lobster. The bustling bar scene adds to the lively atmosphere where patrons can enjoy delicious cocktails.
We stopped here just for a snack. The oysters were so deliciously fresh. I could have eaten a bucket. Next time I'll have some food
Tony S — Google review
An delightful restaurant tucked inside an old church which was charming. Everything about this dining experience was perfect. I called a few weeks in advance to book a table for Father's Day. There were two options available: 5:15 or 8:30. I took the earlier seating that was available. Our waitress Melinda was wonderful. She was friendly and gave us outstanding service. Our food was simply delicious. The bread was warm with a savory rye flavor to it. I'm not a bread person but we couldn't stop eating it! The appetizer Oyster Rockefeller has such rich, delicious flavors, with a touch of lobster on top. I enjoyed the swordfish Rivera while my husband devoured each morsel in the Pesca Fra Diablo. Both meals were full of flavor and a good size portion. We passed on having dessert as unfortunately there wasn't anything that interested us. That part of the menu seemed to be lacking in comparison to the rest of the menu. The restaurant was very busy and all seats at the bar were taken. It's a place you definitely need to try... But remember to make a reservation in advance.
Victoria C — Google review
Fantastic food! High quality, very delicious dishes. We did not get reservations so no tables were available (highly recommend advance reservations) but were able to get two seats at the bar. We got two items from the daily specials, a mixed seafood in vodka sauce and a grilled swordfish.
Christian H — Google review
Wow! This place was amazing! Didn't have a reservation but was able to get bar seating for two after a short, five minute wait on a Saturday night during the summer around 7pm, though I saw others waiting longer after I was seated. Ordered off the original and specials menu. From the original menu - Bacon wrapped scallops: amazing! The bacon provides a nice texture contrast to the perfectly cooked scallop. You get five pieces sat open some toast and covered in a nice light white sauce. MUST ORDER! Meatball appetizer: soft and tender, not too much of a bite but perfectly seasoned and very tasty! If you're looking for something other than seafood, give this a try! Blackened halibut: super yums! It sits upon cheesy grits, which is a perfect companion to this moist and succulent fish. I honestly wasnt even thinking about getting this dish, but the bartender recommended it and I'm sure glad he did! Highly recommend Specials menu - Peach and pomegranate sangria: I could drink gallons of this delectable nectar. Perhaps a touch sweet, but I found this very drinkable and without the usual bitter notes from most other sangrias. Dave's third day: okay I'm not sure what the name of this drink is (I think it's someone else's name) but it has multiple vodkas with fresh pressed watermelon and lime juice. Honestly, pass this one, this drink did not hit and represented the only thing that I did not care for. I thought it would be refreshing but it was so bitter, maybe I just didn't understand what they were going for. Seafood carbonara: scallops, shrimp, lobster, pancetta in a cream sauce with noodles. Perfection! Maybe a bit less enjoyable by the end of the meal as you fill up, but those first bites are phenomenal! The bar area was very dark, but definitely set the vibes so I'm not knocking it. If you can get a reservation, all the better. This is definitely somewhere I'm recommending to anyone visiting Chatham or Lower Cape. As an aside, I heard the oysters Sydney are super good, I can't remember what's on them but people were impressed!
Aaron B — Google review
Was told the reservation list would be impossible and we shouldn’t try to eat there. We walked in and were lucky that a couple at the bar were leaving right then. Great food and service! Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for a nice dinner in Chatham.
Matthew C — Google review
I didn’t take many good pictures other than this delicious Switchback draft. Specials here are always fantastic and the pastas are probably the best down the cape. You can get lucky here sometimes if you try and sit at the bar. The bacon wrapped scallops and stuffed oysters go CRAZY
Tommy C — Google review
Beautiful restaurant great ambiance and the food is wonderful. The place used to be a church ⛪️ So good that I hope to be back tomorrow. Thank you for a delicious and memorable meal 🍽️

such a fun place to eat! really enjoyed the atmosphere, food & service. put our name in for lunch & waited about 15 minutes - it is a small waiting area & it does get crowded, i’d recommend putting your name in & pop into some shops around the corner to pass the time! the lobster roll was one of the best we’ve had & the onion rings are thin cut, crispy & delicious. cocktail menu is fun and fresh as well - we would absolutely be back!

Chatham Candy Manor

Chocolate shop

Dessert shop
When visiting Chatham, a stop at the Chatham Candy Manor is a must for any sweet tooth. Established in 1955, this local sweet shop offers hand-dipped confections and velvety fudge made with fine craftsmanship. The delightful aroma of chocolate greets you as soon as you step inside, making your mouth water instantly. With over 60 years of history in the community, it's no wonder that this candy store is a beloved staple.
We got to see the staff working together to make a batch of about 200 candy canes! It was a unique and unexpected experience for us. Also, we purchased way too much fudge...I mean... if you can't decide, take home a little bit of every yummy sounding flavor, right? We also got some dark chocolate non-pariel candies...dairy free and vegan friendly. Stroller accessible as someone came into the store with one.

Super friendly and had a great collection of sweets including amazing chocolates & house made fudge. Yum! Also loved the dog treats out front.
Candiece B — Google review
After patronizing this business for decades it is no longer the same quality or customer service focus. BEWARE you do not want to order anything via their website or phone ordering to be shipped. They definitely use old product to fill those orders and then blame shipping for the stale tasteless quality. See pics below of $10 eight oz bags of maltballs. I purchase these same items in their store in Chatham and ship home to myself throughout the year and they have never looked like this so it’s not the shipping. They admittedly purchase all of their novelty chocolates from another vendor so perhaps that’s where the quality suffers but either way they rebag and place their store label on these items so they should ensure freshness and overall quality. If purchasing on site they’ll say everything is fresh but I highly recommend you ask to taste test esp the fudge. I’m assuming because their prices have increased so much they’re moving their product much slower however the customer is receiving much worse quality for much high prices.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Chatham Candy Manor! From the moment you step through the door, you’re greeted with a warm smile and an incredible selection of treats. Their service is consistently top-notch, and the staff always goes above and beyond to help you find the perfect candy or gift. It’s also our go-to spot for client gifts; the packaging is beautiful, and the assortment of sweets never fails to impress. If you’re in Chatham, this shop is a must-visit!

Do not leave Chatham without going to the Candy Manor! Very high quality chocolates, delicious! Excellent service with people who know their chocolate. It’s pricey but so worth it. I’ll do an extra five miles hiking to have this chocolate anytime I’m in Chatham!

Movie theater
The Chatham Orpheum Theater, originally opened in 1916, is a historic landmark that has been a beloved destination for generations. After being closed in 1987, it was revitalized and reopened to the public in 2013. This non-profit theater showcases new movie releases as well as occasional live events, offering a unique experience for both locals and visitors.
First time patron and will definitely be back. I’m a movie junkie from one of my first jobs as an usher ( yes I’m that old), in a movie theater. There’s just nothing not to like. It’s an old theater (I like old like me) than was saved and done over by generous patrons of the arts. It has 2 theaters, 1 quite a bit smaller than the main theater. Everything is perfect, large screens, good sound system, very comfortable seats that recline and everything is spotless. The lobby, restrooms and the theater itself were very clean. Like the Mrs. says; “There’s clean and then there’s; they even clean in the corners clean.” Their corners were clean too. Some other things that make this theater special are the old classic movie posters, the extremely large mural on the large wall in the lobby of dozens of movie stars. I looked it over for several minutes and came up with the names of many of them and would love to see how many I could come up with. The corridor that leads from the lobby to the theaters is covered with heart warming stories of people with Autism. It’s a heartwarming use of a public space. Now that you’ve heard all the great things about this place wait there’s more. Just when you’ve gotten everything you’d want in a movie house, they throw in a small pizza restaurant with a full liquor license. The pizza shop is one of several “Pizza Shark” shops on the Cape. Never having had one we decided to stop and have a slice after the show. We both liked it, in fact possibly my favorite new Cape pizza. It’s pretty much a thin crust style with a great crust, perfect blend of sauce and cheese with a great flavor. What more could you ask for. We will absolutely be returning as this will be our first choice for movie viewing in the area.

Best movie theater I have been to in years - best popcorn and you also have a bar inside, I mean, truly a gem and will definitely return!!
Sebylita — Google review
Charming and quaint from the outside with great films not at the mainstream movies. At the same time- Pizza Shark is inside and has fab food and salads. Lastly- seats are comfortable inside the theater and tech is updated. There is no downside to seeing a movie here!!! And downtown Chatham- need I say more!
Marianne D — Google review

Loved This Place!! Very comfortable seats. They have a full bar with a nice food selection. My wife had some espresso martinis and I had some Whales Tail drafts. We didn’t eat but what others had looked good. Manager was very informative and the gentleman working the bar was beyond friendly. You can also bring your drinks in the theater!

Veterans Field in Chatham is a popular spot for families to enjoy a Cape Cod Baseball League game, particularly featuring the Chatham Anglers. Situated in downtown Chatham, it offers a nice field and adequate bathroom facilities. Additionally, there's a playground nearby for kids to have fun. While the bleachers may need improvement and parking can be challenging, the overall experience of enjoying CCBL Summer Ball at Veterans Field is unmatched.
Great place to bring a family or a date to a ballgame... donation asked for entry, maybe $5 each it's going to a good cause, and you are in... for a donation or free 🤔. We walked and even sat for a little bit behind home plate! Places to sit all over the field, concessions and a playground sit to the right side of the field.

Very nice playground, lots of fun and challenges for my 3yo daughter. Some of the equipment needs some repair. The seesaw feels very wobbly like a nut is loose. The lil shark and fish need some attention as well. Very beautiful settling and they have restrooms which is wonderful.

Chatham Village Market is a locally run full-service grocery store located in downtown Chatham. It offers a wide variety of fresh products and unique items, making it a paradise for food enthusiasts. The market is known for its clean environment, abundant meat selection, unique pasta options, and locally made salad dressings. Visitors also praise the market's delicious quiches and friendly staff.
The Chatham Village Market is a fabulous market and a huge asset to the people of the community and to visitors, too. The store carries so much for its size that it’s kind of amazing. The fish and deli and prepared foods section in the back of the store, is wonderful, as is the baked goods section. Contrary to what some reviewers claim, the prices are reasonable and competitive for a community market, and sometimes even less than the big food markets, on some items. For a modest sized food, kitchen and home provisions market, this place is great!

I just wanted to take a moment to share how impressed I was with the staff during my visit. Everyone was incredibly helpful when I needed assistance finding specific items, and they went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. The people at the checkout were also exceptionally kind and friendly, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. Great customer service all around!

We loved this little market! Because of size and location, it is probably a little more expensive than other nearby store but it had a great selection, especially in the bakery. We needed ingredients to make a charcuterie board at our Vrbo and decided to get supplies at this shop. They had everything we needed. We even got to try some great sweets.

The cafe's location on Main Street in Chatham makes it easily accessible for locals and tourists alike.
Visited on a Wednesday in April for late lunch and were kindly greeted by their staff! We were able to easily find a table after ordering at the counter and did not have to wait long for our food. The sandwiches were all fantastic with so many great menu options to choose from! This is the perfect lunch spot while taking a stroll around the streets and highly recommend everyone check this gem out!

Truly a hidden gem in downtown Chatham. We went here on a whim to find some breakfast and it was definitely worth it. The homemade Himalayan ice chai is a must and the cold brew was smooth and refreshing. We ended up getting the breakfast sandwiches and they were hot and delicious. Would definitely return on my next trip down cape!

This place rocks. I think most people come here for the sandwiches, which are great! But I really prefer the momos (chicken dumplings with a spicy sauce) and the chicken tika; their Nepalese offerings are delicious. They also do a decent latte, and it's usually possible to eat outside on their porch seating on a not-too-busy day and watch the town drive in through mainstreet. this place is also cozy when the season winds down. All over wonderful spot to grab a bite.

Absolutely amazing! We stopped in while visiting Chatham and were blown away by the flavors. We ordered two vegan-friendly dishes along with the poke bowl, and everything was fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. On top of the incredible food, the owner was so warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re in Cape Cod and looking for something truly special, this Nepalese restaurant is a must-try. We can’t wait to come back!

I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and a breakfast sandwich. The macchiato was the perfect level of sweetness and the sandwich was delicious and filling! The staff was really patient with us and offered us recommendations of their favorites! The inside is so cute. Truly worth visiting day to day or for a quick spot to go to after the beach!
Jilrou — Google review
This little cafe was such a pleasant surprise in the Cape. The non descriptor name is hiding some truly delicious homemade food with a Nepalese flair. We got the Momo, the Mediterranean panini and the best homemade chai latte I've had in a long time. The panini had fresh grilled vegetables with thick feta and the Momo can only be described as taking tiny bites of delicious beef stew presents. It comes with a very spicy sauce that my partner devoured and I barely used because my Irish stomach is incredibly lame when it comes to heat. The inside is small but you can sit outside and enjoy people watching while you wait. I can't wait to come back to sip some chai and try everything on the menu.
Ritz Z — Google review
If you don’t eat at the Public cafe while in Chatham you are missing out. There is so much flavor in every dish thanks to the Nepalese/American fusion. Our favorites: breakfast burrito (dip it in the accompanying Aaludam), breakfast sandwich, the No.5, Kimcheese Sandwich, Mixed green salad, Aaludam Rice.

Sunday, fun day with our family in town. Beautiful place and our server could not have been more attentive. Shasha was efficient and most pleasant. While the food was waiting a bit longer than usual but having a good chat with the new manager, Phil was delightful. He came back to check us again and brought us a dessert. We enjoyed the time here and definitely will be back very soon.

Wild Goose Tavern is a great dining spot right in the heart of Chatham. It is a spacious, clean, and nautical interior, with fine-dining-like menu. Service was very kind and pointed us in the right direction on the menu, even cracking jokes. Food was very good, especially the fish and chips. Though for what the menu was priced at, I would have expected a little bit better from this place, especially with the wait times for food. Overall, it was a solid spot in a great location, and it provided a nice date night feel.

Just got back from a very strange experience eating at the Wild Goose Tavern. We chose to visit solely off the back of the Google reviews, I didn’t realise that only the first few reviews were positive at that point, a fact I’m only just aware of now while writing this actually. The establishment is lovely, fresh, clean, bright and very inviting on a dark October evening. It’s a good job the building is welcoming because the hostess certainly wasn’t! I have never before met an individual less suited to the job they are employed for as this young lady. Her slothening attitude was so bad it was actually bordering on comical. No welcome, an exaggerated time to find a free table on her system (even though the dining room was only about a quarter full), an effort made to vacate her seat and the slow speed at which we were shown to our table had my wife and I looking at each other totally bemused. I’m glad to say the service from there took a marked up turn. Our server was present and very helpful, although he did bring us the wrong wine. The food was superb! Clam Chowder brilliant, Shrimp Cocktail fantastic, Chicken Milanese great and the Lobster Ravioli super! Compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff. Very nice indeed. So after a false start I think I can recommend the Wild Goose Tavern just keep in mind you may not be made very welcome. 4/5 because after all, first impressions matter.

Had a dinner with my husband this evening. Lovely view from a patio and good food while my husband requested for Gluten-free. It took a while but we had a manager came up, Philip offer us glass of wine during our waiting time. Good came up perfectly as my husband expected. Overall great experience and thanks to our server Chevar for taking care this evening. Will come back very soon. Love this place!

Went here for a family dinner while visiting Chatham. The atmosphere is great and the service is top notch, however the food is overpriced and quite bland. I had the swordfish that needed seasoning and also got to try some of the special “prime rib” that had no seasoning at all and only came with a horseradish sauce. It was a fun place to try, but I would not go back to this restaurant for the food.

If you’re looking to ruin your night and waste your money, Wild Goose Tavern is the place for you. We came in with high hopes, but what we got was careless service, cold food, and a management team that clearly doesn't care about the customer experience. For a place charging fine dining prices, they deliver fast food quality—and honestly, fast food service would’ve been a massive upgrade. It all started when they brought over our 3 bottles of wine… but forgot the glasses. Small mistake, but it set the tone. When they finally poured the wine, no one bothered to ask if it was to our liking—something you’d expect at these outrageous prices. Then came the real disaster: we waited over an HOUR for appetizers. Just two soups and some raw bar items. Not one check-in, no updates—just staff walking by as we sat there confused and increasingly frustrated. To be clear, a few people in our party work in the service industry—we tried to be as patient and understanding as possible. We get it. But this wasn’t a busy night handled poorly; this was blatant carelessness and a total lack of communication. When the apps finally came, they were mediocre at best. We had to flag down our server just to order entrées, and when those finally arrived—almost two hours after sitting—they were STONE COLD. The burger? Freezing, with unmelted cheese (I’ll attach a photo). The swordfish? Lukewarm. The lobster quesadilla? Barely tasted like lobster. And the fries? So bad they were practically inedible. And for a large party running up a high tab, some basic communication and care should’ve been the bare minimum. We didn’t even get our water glasses refilled once. Eleven people, sitting for hours, literally thirsty. Our reservation was at 7:00. We didn’t leave until 9:35—causing us to miss another reservation we had for cocktails. By the end, we were standing up at the table trying to get someone’s attention just to pay the bill. The damage? $800. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were offered a small discount—nowhere near enough to make up for the trainwreck of a night. And we weren’t the only ones. Tables around us were visibly upset and complaining too. That should’ve been our sign when we first walked in. Bottom line: the owner and management should be genuinely ashamed of how this place is being run. The prices suggest a high-end experience, but what you’ll actually get is a disorganized, understaffed, slow-motion disaster. Either they’re cutting corners to save money, or they truly have no clue how to manage a restaurant—or both. Skip Wild Goose Tavern and spend your money somewhere that actually respects its guests. This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.

Eating outside on a beautiful night was made even better by our server , Garrett. His comments and recommendations were superb. The lobster garlic bread was an amazing start to the dinner. Our first time here and won’t be our last !

When I say NO service... I'm serious. Walked in spoke to woman behind host stand... She says"she will be with you on a moment"... She disappeared into the kitchen adjacent to host stand. She appears 4 minutes later grabs some menus and looks at us in a daze. I ask is the table ready? She walks away and comes back a gestures.foe.ia to follow. The waitress comes for our drinks and lunch order then disappears... Never to be seen again. Someone else drops our food on the table and says nothing. After waiting for 5 minutes no one comes to the table. I walk over to bartender and ask for some Barbecue sauce and Malt Vinegar; No barbeque sauce available, 1 min later a bar back drops vinegar on the table. Not what I expected for mediocre food in a tourist overpriced environment. Lunch for 3, 1 beer, 1 coke, fish & chips, fish sandwich, burger $99. t was the worst tip I have given in 20 years... Grand total $110.

Red Nun is a neighborhood pub renowned for their acclaimed burgers, fresh seafood, and a wide range of beers. They are known for their diverse menu including fish tacos, salads, and fried lobster, as well as daily specials. The establishment attracts both locals and tourists and is an ideal spot to watch sports events. Red Nun has two locations: one in Chatham which is a small venue with local games televised, and the other in Dennis which is larger and requires a 25-minute drive.
Nice little restaurant/pub with a cozy setting. In the warmer months, they have outdoor seating too, which helps as the interior seating can get a bit crammed. The service is good and speedy in regards to the timing of your food being promptly delivered to your table. I say this because we only had an hour to spare for lunch on this occasion, we were impressed with how fast our food was made. The Thai burger is so good, not to be missed! And that peanut sauce they use could go well on anything. It was so delicious. I was able to substitute the beef meat for chicken instead, which was nice to have that option being a non beef eater. My spouse ordered the Nun Burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and it was huge. Both our meals came with fries, and honestly, I could have done without them easily. As the burgers could pass for full meals on their own. We left here feeling very full and satisfied and looking forward to sitting on their patio in warmer months to enjoy some cold ones. 😉

We went to the Red Nun in Chatham for the first time and I’m not sure what took us so long! The food was pub food fare done right. I had a cup of clam chowder, not the best I’ve ever had, but very good. Lots of clams in it. I also tried the Western Burger but with Ghost Pepper cheddar instead of Swiss. The burger was excellent. I could smell the char as soon as it arrived and it tasted like a grilled burger. Delicious. I had onion rings instead of fries and those were really good too though I tried my wife’s fries and they are a solid option as well. She had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. It’s a fairly small place and I imagine in season it’s very busy. It was pretty busy when we went yesterday on the first day of March. If you are in the mood for pub food after strolling around Chatham, I would recommend it. We will definitely be going back.

They provide indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly but our waitress wasn’t that knowledgeable or helpful about the menu. The food was only ok, local beers were good with a great selection. Atmosphere was nothing special and overall this place wasn’t anything special, and it was not a great experience that we were hoping for.

Literally so delicious I had to go back multiple times on my recent vacation to Cape Cod. I ordered the scallops with a side of sweet potato fries (which were the best I've ever had!). Service was quick and food was amazing!

The Nun Burger was the best I've ever had. We visited Chatham from Minnesota and came across this place. We went back to Chatham the following year and the first stop was here. I wanted to get a t-shirt both visits but no luck, they sell fast. Definitely check this place out.

The food was awful. The fried chicken sandwich was definitely from a frozen bag, and the fish and chips were as bland as could be. Also, the “medium” burgers were bright red in the middle. Don’t go to the Red Nun for a meal.

Restaurant
Located at the Wequassett Resort & Golf Club, twenty-eight Atlantic is a renowned New American cuisine restaurant that offers stunning views of Pleasant Bay. The seasonal restaurant features a classic dining room with elegant Shaker-style decor and hand-blown glass chandeliers. Executive chef James Hackney prepares exquisite dishes using locally sourced ingredients, making it a top dining destination in Harwich. With its 5-star Forbes rating, guests can expect an exceptional culinary experience paired with breathtaking bay views.
We did the 7 course tasting menu. It was phenomenal and did not feel too full after. The views were stunning. Service was too notch. No issues at all. They were accommodating of my allergies. And it’s not often that you can find 7 course vegetarian menus so that was very appreciated. The fried squash blossom with ricotta was my favorite along with the chilled soup. The risotto was just okay but every other dish was absolutely worth trying.

Wow — what can I say! The food here is absolutely amazing — beautiful quality with so much depth to every dish. That said, if you’re the type of person who just shovels food down like you haven’t eaten in a month, this is probably not the place for you. And if you’re looking for a giant plate of lasagna or a massive steak — again, not the place. But if you appreciate thoughtful, well-executed cuisine that’s beautifully presented, this is heaven. I had so many questions for our server (who was fantastic) about all the different ingredients — every dish was clearly well thought out and crafted with care. The portions are perfect — exactly what a normal-sized human needs — and every bite is an experience. 5 out of 5 all day long. Highly recommend.

We did the four course and it was very good. The sea glass cocktail was lovely, and the wine list is excellent. The oysters were good, the burrata watermelon salad was very good, the lobster carbonara was excellent, the beef carpaccio was absolutely delicious, the tuna was excellent, the wagyu strip loin was excellent, the duck breast with duck leg cassoulet was excellent, the green apple brown butter mochi was delicious, and the devil’s food whipped ganache was also delicious. We had a table by the window and the view was quintessential cape cod magnificence! And the service was absolutely excellent! If you like fine dining and are willing to pay for it, you will not be disappointed. If you are unsure about that, you might not be satisfied. As a side note on atmosphere, we witnessed a black tie wedding happening outside below us on the lawn overlooking the bay and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen such a stunning bride, just gorgeous, it looked like a shoot for vogue bridal, the entire restaurant was oohing and aahing as she passed by below us, such a magical moment to witness. We wish the new couple, whoever they were, a lifetime of happiness together.

We happily returned to 28 Atlantic this summer because we had an excellent dinner experience last summer for our large party. Besides the great views and service, however, this dinner was disappointing. We had the 7 course tasting and each course was smaller than from the prior year, but more importantly, the food quality and flavors were not as good. As soon as the oysters course was delivered, we thought there was something odd about it. There was almost no liquid in the 2 oysters and they tasted fishy and slimy. They were obviously not fresh. When mentioned to the staff, the chef did provide a new plate of plain oysters that were fresh and tasty. Some of us liked the vegetables and egg dish which provided a bit of richness with the egg. The fish course was well cooked and had a mild flavor. Only complaint is that it was barely warm. The beef course was tasty but the portion so small that most of us were not quite full, even after the dessert. I'm disappointed by this experience. A hallmark of a great restaurant is how consistent the food is from one service to the next. I really hope that the food improves because it's on such a great property and did have really good food the last time we visited.

Had a lovely experience here last week. We were the first to arrive for our 5:30 reservation (indoor) and were seated promptly and attentively. Our server was wonderful and he did a great job explaining the menu. We were sat at the corner window seat for 2, best seat in the house! Excellent view! We did the prix fixe menu. Butter poached lobster and lobster carbonara were OUTSTANDING. But then again, everything we had was fantastic. Drinks were awesome as well. It was a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone!

The service and atmosphere here are both superb, you’ll be treated to an unbeatable view and professional staff who will take great care of you. The food unfortunately was extremely hit or miss. I got the 7 course tasting menu and was equally blown away and disappointed. I’ll go dish by dish. Amuse Bouche - Grade A: the salmon toro with a crème fraiche was fresh and delicious Oysters - Grade A: beautifully done with caviar cucumber Tuna Crudo - Grade A+: possibly the best I’ve ever had Lobster Carbonara - Grade A+: incredible homemade pasta with the highest quality lobster Halibut - Grade D-: overcooked and under flavored. The vegetable accompaniment was like a stale hospital fart from a dying man. Steak - Grade F: how I imagine a leather sofa would taste. Devils Food Cake - Grade B+: solid but nothing to write home about. Overall, not worth the $1k+ price point for a party of four. Too inconsistent. The meal started out incredible but wound up as a disappointment.

Twenty-Eight Atlantic is hands down the best restaurant on Cape Cod. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special the breathtaking views of Pleasant Bay, the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, and the flawless attention to detail. The food was outstanding, each dish thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. From the fresh oysters to the beautifully plated entrées, every bite felt like a celebration of Cape Cod’s finest ingredients. The wine list was equally impressive and paired perfectly with our meal. What truly made the evening unforgettable was the service. Our server, Bojana, was absolutely amazing warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever being overbearing. She anticipated our needs, offered excellent recommendations, and made us feel completely cared for. Her presence elevated the entire experience and made the night truly memorable. Dining at Twenty-Eight Atlantic isn’t just going out to eat, it’s an experience, and one we will never forget. This is without question the best restaurant on the Cape, and we can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My oh my. What a treat! We sat outside and ordered from the outdoor menu and the prix fixe menu from inside. Clam chowder was amazing. The sushi with lobster / scallops was great. The Chatham Squire is a great place to go for a casual meal with your family. It has an eclectic menu with something for everyone, and they often have live entertainment.
Great little bar in the middle of Chatham. Nice local atmosphere, great service and a good selection of beers, both draft and in bottles. Quirky decorations (personalised license plates from around the US) and a pool table added to the charm. Great place to spend the evening after hiking around the cape. Food looked good, though we didn't eat. Plenty of parking nearby for your DD.

This is definitely the place to be in Chatham! The Chatham Squire has a great location downtown that is paired with a true tavern atmosphere. My advice if you are going in mid-summer to the "first come first served" side: be patient! Get a drink at the bar and wait for folks to be done, we didn't have to wait as long as we thought. We started by putting our names in on the dining room side (there is the tavern side as well) and then walked around Chatham. Coming back, we noticed a few seats open at the bar and then, only a few mins later, a table opened. The bus boy got us right away and we sat a 6 top comfortably. We started with drinks - they have tons of local cocktails. Our server was absolutely amazing! My children were all in on getting to draw their server and then give it to them! Very cool engagement for the kids. See photos below, we started with local, fresh oysters. (They also had funky cups and straws for the kids, see oyster pic). Oysters were top notch, came out fast, and with all regular garnishes. Next, after another round of drinks, we got our main meals. I deviated from what I'd normally get and tried something a bit different: the fish tacos. Huge. Amazing. Fresh. For a tavern that does seat yourself, you really cant beat the food! This is why you come to Chatham - this tavern felt timeless. The staff was warm and welcoming - and when I forgot my to go boxes, they had them stashed behind the bar. It's the fare you're looking for plus the atmosphere of a local fishing community without sacrificing any quality. Get there early or late, there will be a crowd looking to party with you!

Authentic New England tavern experience that harkens back to an earlier age. The bar scene on one side of establish is a happening place both day and night. The restaurant side serves authentic New England seafood as well as other options. I was impressed with cod fish dish and enjoyed sharing local oysters with my family members. Every time I visit Cape Cod, the Chatham Squire is a must visit.

We eat here every time we come to Chatham. The lobster bisque is elite. Stuffed quahog is delicious! Kid friendly which is extremely nice! I've gotten multiple meals, and I'm glad I have. I do enjoy a good burger most of the time, and they do a great job. Service is always great too; especially for a place as busy as them.

On both sides of this restaurant (the dining room & the bar) service is great! We returned two nights in a row just to see the two bartenders in action, and on our second night we enjoyed a very friendly waitress during our dinner. (For the record: kitchen closes before 9pm!) We visited during Halloweekend and there was a good mix of ages in the bar. Very fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Ducks In The Window, located in Chatham on Cape Cod, boasts the world's largest collection of rubber ducks. This unique store offers an incredible variety of ducks along with games, toys, and puzzles for the whole family to enjoy. Despite being a small store, it is packed with cute and diverse ducks that attract duck enthusiasts from far away.
My husband collects ducks and Mr Doodles has his own private Facebook page. This place had the most ducks we’ve ever seen. It was 3 hours out of our way but well worth the trip. A very cute little town. Glad we stopped to buy some new ducks. Plus they can personalize your duck. The gal cashing us out was very friendly and we loved our visit.
Norma L — Google review
On a recent family vacation, our daughter lost her most favorite stuffie, a small yellow duck with red feet she named Clara that has been with her since birth. I was overjoyed to find that Ducks in the Window was selling online that very same duck that was lost (or so I thought). A week later we arrived home to find a box containing a duck, not with red feet, rather orange. I contacted Ducks in the Window to explain the situation, stating that their website clearly shows a duck with red feet in multiple images and that is not what was shipped. Their response? “We received your message and Wabanub only makes the orange feet duck. They are also discounting making them so they will be hard to find.” No acknowledgement that they were falsely advertising a red duck but shipping something completely different and no offer to remedy the situation. I have emailed them twice more since that initial correspondence and they have not answered. I try hard to patronize small businesses because we need strong, local alternatives to the retail giants but honestly had I ordered this item from Amazon, I would not be having these challenges. That makes me incredibly sad because it might influence the shopping decisions I make in the future. I will not loose sleep over the lost $28, but as a father I certainly have over not being able to bring "Clara" home. That duck meant the world to her. Most of all, I am sad for them as a business and for their employees that they don’t realize how important taking care of the customer is in this age of unlimited choice.

We always stop by the store when we’re visiting the cape and always purchase a duck. We decided to get one for our daughter online one day and placed an order July 6th. That same day we got a notification that a label was created. A week later, nothing. I checked the status and it shows it hasn’t even left Chatham. I tried to call the office and no one answers. I tried emailing and nothing. Absolutely shocked at the lack of customer service. Will be disputing with my card company. Please don’t ever buy from their website! Almost Two weeks and counting to get a duck? Not worth it.

We always stop by and visit when in Chatam. Very quaint and this is the first time we happened to come and the windmill was open. Had a nice history and got to see the inside, which still mills corn! We spent an hour touring the Windmill & walking the grounds. This Windmill was used to grind corn which was very important until it was readily available at local markets.

Lighthouse Beach, located in Chatham, is a popular destination known for its expansive sandy shore and strong currents. The beach is distinguished by the iconic working lighthouse that serves as a guide for boats navigating the treacherous Chatham waters. Visitors can also witness a large population of seals frolicking in the surf. While parking may be limited, shuttle services are available from nearby town parking lots.
Worth going out to see when you are in Cape Cod. Interesting history of the lighthouse and how it came to be. You can walk the beach out front and find thousands of thousands of slipper shells if shelling is your thing.

We visited briefly on a beautiful April day, while i provided out of state guests the flavor of Cape Cod. We didn't get a chance to swim in the cold water today, but it was still a memorable visit for my Michigan friends! They were fascinated by the White Shark warning signs! Their love of history, service, and landmarks appreciated the Coast Guard building, lighthouse, and vessel.

This beach is gorgeous with many sand dunes and a barrier island. Not too tough to enter- there’s a stairway and the. You are on the beach. The stairs have a platform with a beach halfway and are not too long. There are beautiful walks through the dunes that the water has carved out. Not much beach at high tide but low tide is great. The beach doesn’t have many rocks or shells. Parking is available in-town for $15 with a shuttle bus to the beach. After 5 pm you can park at the scenic overlook parking across from the lighthouse.

Absolutely beautiful beach right across from the lighthouse. Free parking lot but limited. If you can get a spot it is worth walking down the stairs to see it. We went at low tide. Beautiful dunes.

One of the many beautiful beaches on Cape Cod. Take a walk, dip your toes into the cool water, and appreciate the beauty that is Cape Cod National Seashore.

Really lovely to walk especially at low tide. Dogs allowed during off season. Here are some pics from early October of walking to the right once you enter the beach from the parking lot and walk down a bit. Beach itself is not handicap accessible. Steep stairs.

We went in March. Water is clean and the sand is very soft which I believe it’s a good choice for kids. We also saw parents brought their kids their for fun. I don’t have much to say but I did enjoy the time waking along with the beach under the pure blue sky.

This is a nice beach. I went here while visiting Cape Cod and was satisfied with my experience. This is a beautiful, sandy beach with a barrier island. The water in between this beach and barrier island creates a serene environment. I gave this beach five stars because it’s a beautiful beach and one of my favorites in Cape Cod.

Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge, located just south of Chatham, is a 2,750-acre preserve that includes the Monomoy Islands. The area is home to dunes, beach grass, and hundreds of harbor seals from November to May. The refuge offers walking-trail maps, exhibits, and hands-on games in the visitor center. It has been restricted for migratory birds and animals since its establishment in 1944.
No tickets needed. We are met by two incredibly friendly volunteers who gave our kids free color books, apparently a Saturday special. After a 10-minute walk through a gated neighborhood, we found the trail to the park. After a brief Sandy walk, an amazing Vista opened up. Tidal pools, egrets, shells look, shallow water for wading. Perfect for a family with small children. The kids could just run and play and find shells. A precious memory.

Haven’t been in a couple years and didn’t know visitor center, restrooms, trail and beach in front of parking area, etc., are all gone due to coastal erosion. Still beautiful ocean and beach, but a longer walk to get there. Love, love, love the isolation - even during week of July 4th.

Park here and then walk through a private road and down to the beach. Wonderful place off from the beaten path. Beautiful house, boats, ocean view, and plenty of bird. Sandals recommended for the beach!

Coming with good old memories of hiking on the seaside trail at low tide and seeing the trail disappearing behind us being submerged in water and then we had to take the trail through marshland back…, it’s really in memories now! Haven’t been here for almost five years and when arrived we were puzzled “ where is the small museum?!”, we saw a shed with tables for information display instead, later we were told that the museum has been demolished two years ago, even worst news was that the 3 mile seaside hiking trail that we were coming back for was no longer accessible due to the erosion and loss of one session of beach! Anyway we decided to renew ( not refreshable now!) the hiking experience at the time of lowest tide, great vistas of sand bars appeared once we reach to the waterfront, still that blue sapphire like water surrounding a peaceful sanctuary! We especially walked to those eroded coastal line section, trying to find back those old memories not taking away by the Mother Nature! A good place for family with kids or for a quiet moment of your own mindfulness and peace. We encountered a group for bird watching, and spotted a yellow leg sandpiper and a wounded bird ( reported to the staff at the shed), lots of baby crabs and horseshoe crabs. No ticket needed now to access the hiking trail, the trail head located in an upscale neighborhood. Parking space was full by the time we left at 11:00 am.

Breathtaking views. We struggled with the maps so it ended up being. 3.2 mile loop vs 1.5 but we loved every second of it.
Rebecca F — Google review
Beautiful area! Kind local told us you can park at the spot Google took you to. Then walk back down the road, take a left into the neighborhood and walk down and you’ll see the trail. Nice walk! Lots of wildlife. Walked along the inland and saw hundreds of horseshoe crabs. Very lovely area.
Mia-Fei L — Google review
Wow! What an amazing place! You can already tell it was going to be a unique experience just driving here. The scenery was breathtaking and the place feels like "members only." Unfortunately, I was disappointed they closed off the trail from the parking lot due to erosion. The provided an alternate route to get onto the trail that loops through the residential area with the huge mansions lining each side. Some big houses indeed! The trail was nice and loops to the beach. I read there were mnaybseal sightings in the area but I didn't see any during my hike. Maybe next time. What can be more relaxing than hiking on a beach on a crisp autumn day with no one else in sight except the sounds of the ocean.

If sushi is your thing and you're looking for a delicious, exotic bite while on vacation, then look no further than Blue fins Sushi & sake Bar. Offering both Japanese and Thai dishes alongside Korean favorites, this restaurant will not disappoint your sushi cravings. If you're feeling especially adventurous, try something new!
The food was amazing! The gluten free Pad Thai was delicious and a generous serving size. The Chef Special Sashimi had a beautifully fun presentation and the salmon melted in your mouth. Make sure to book a reservation if you want a table. We sat at the bar and it was still a pleasant atmosphere.

Amazing sushi! We ordered oysters Rockefeller and they were fresh, juicy and perfectly cooked. We ordered 4 rolls, our waitress suggested a few and we liked her recs. Fish was fresh, flavorful and delicious! Hard to make a reservation so you need to make it 2 weeks in advance. Worth it!
Amelia T — Google review
Went on a Saturday night and it was super packed. Luckily got a seat at the sushi bar. All the speciality rolls were fun and down my alley with a lot going on. We ordered 5 rolls and all of them were great. I think the Red Sox and Roll 513 were our favorites! The miso soup was good too but 10 bucks for not a ton of soup.
Jacob T — Google review
We decided spontaneously to try this place on a Tuesday night. All the tables were completely booked up, but that was alright with us as we enjoy sitting at the sushi bar! The sushi staff and servers were exceedingly friendly and fun. We tried two cocktails of which our favorite was their take on a mai tai. We had some hamachi nigiri and the lobster dip to start- both very good. The real star of the show was our rolls. Namely, the toro jalapeno! Probably the best roll I've ever had. The Roll 503 was also outstanding. And do not skip out on trying their unique Oreo dessert roll... I was skeptical, however, it was crazy fun and delicious! Pricey but not unlike all the prices in the area. I would definitely recommend!
Arianna T — Google review
My review is mostly about the service. We made reservations at 4:30 , I called to let them know that we were running 10 miss late. They said no problem but will need the table by 6pm. When we arrived the hostess repeated herself saying that she needed the table by 6pm, I said: no problem! Again a 3rd time when we were eating, they told us that they needed the table by 6. I felt very uncomfortable and we left immediately after our dinner. Food was actually very good but we will not come back .

This would be the go to restaurant for the Chatham area. The sushi is incredible and can’t recommend enough the toro Nigiri topped with fresh wasabi. There’s certainly a reason why this place has reservations booked weeks in advance even in the offseason.

Amazing sushi! I ordered takeout for a large party of 10 people and we had a great experience. We placed the order over the phone and they were so accommodating to complete the order for us within a certain timeframe. We tried several rolls and sides, but the ones that stood out to me were the tiger eye roll and angry dragon roll. The edamame, fried rice, pad Thai, and tomago were well liked within the group as well. It was also presented so beautifully. Overall it was a great dinner and delicious food!

A divine experience - great service, exquisite food (korean bbq ribs hot starter best I've ever had; 513 roll was excellent too) , drinks (jalapeno mango margarita was a nice surprising spicy sweet mix) and great vibe. Nice server, food came out quick - just overall great. Make a reso way ahead of time or walk in and wait for a spot at the bar/sushi bar - all worth it.

Ice cream shop
Emack & Bolio's is a dessert chain known for its creative ice cream flavors, frozen yogurt, and other sweet treats. With several locations, including one on Kent Place just off Main Street in Chatham, this ice cream shop offers high-quality treats. The ice cream is praised for its great taste and creamy texture. Despite the somewhat sterile ambiance and limited amenities like no samples or bathroom, the delicious ingredients make it worth a visit.
Excellent ice cream chock full of delicious ingredients! My vanilla had real vanilla beans and Mom’s almond joy had coconut ice cream, almonds and chunks of dark chocolate. Look for the cone on Main St and follow the signs and sidewalk back to the shop. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating!
Alison J — Google review
Great ice cream. It's hard ice cream but on the softer side. I had the vanilla bean speck which has a strong vanilla bean flavor and good creaminess. On ice cream alone I'd give it 5 stars since it's one of the best vanilla beans I've had. However, there are no samples (hard to know what to get without trying), you can't split scoops (must get the biggest 2 scoop size to try to kinds), there is no bathroom, and it's cash only. So lots of inconveniences but great ice cream. Worth a stop if you know what you want or are willing to take a chance given it will likely be good. Prices are also slightly higher than other homemade ice cream places on the Cape I've been to ($5.35 for a kiddie cone)
Samuel W — Google review
Cash only, which is just inconsiderate given everyone carries cards now. . Staff was more concerned about carrying on their conversation than paying attention to a customer clearly waiting to be served. Just completely ignored her presence. Ice cream was terrible, threw it out after a couple bites. There are many better options on the Cape and Buffy’s right up the street if you’re looking for good ice cream in Chatham, it’s always busy. Should’ve known this was bad because no one was here during peak foot traffic.
Linda G — Google review
New look so I asked if ownership changed. Answer was no but new management. Made sense since most of the look changed. Out of several flavors. Answer given was EB will not deliver and store needs to pick up from CT or Boston depending on flavor. Not the Answer you wish to hear when it is high season. Ice cream and hot fudge were excellent but I have never been at EB and it was relatively empty at 8pm. Staff didn't know how to ring up certain items There are other options as we usually go to 2 or 3 places. We decided to drop EB from our list
Robert S — Google review
I’m not sure how this place stays in business considering they charge much more than every other ice cream shop on the cape for significantly less ice cream. Additionally this place is cash only, with employees touching money and then scooping ice cream, touching cones, etc for each and every customer. Not sure what the local health department rules are but this does not seem up to code.
Ryan P — Google review
long wait but worth it! creamy ice cream with many flavor options. note that they only take cash
Angie — Google review
I am very fussy about ice cream. My friends and I decided to go to Emack & Bolio’s because they have some unique, fun flavours. I got Beantown Buzz and Blueberry Crumble, and both flavours were amazing. It was a little expensive (Over $6 for 2 scoops) but it was worth it, because the size was decent and the quality was great. Also, this is the cleanest ice cream place I’ve ever been to. And, the girls who were working there were very nice :)

Girls were nice, and ice cream was so good, but disappointed that they don’t allow sampling. What if I wanted to try a new flavor other places don’t sell??

Restaurant
Cuvée, the restaurant located within Chatham Inn, offers a sophisticated dining experience with an emphasis on high-quality wines and innovative dishes featuring steak and seafood. The elegant ambiance extends to the outdoor patio as well. The menu showcases beautifully presented four-course dinners that are thoughtfully crafted by skilled chefs.
A truly extraordinary experience! Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was perfect. Luz was our server and she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly and personable. Our reservation included a 4 course dinner, but we actually received two extra complimentary courses, champagne, cookies and brownies to take home! An anniversary dinner we will never forget. We can’t wait to come back!
Laura C — Google review
Stayed at Chatham Inn last night and dined at Cuvée and have to say it was outstanding! Javier the sommelier was terrific (and generous) with the wine pairings. The waitstaff is very well trained and professional. And the chef made a couple of table side visits to present the sauces, etc. Love that the menu is a tasting menu (4 course) but at least 3 choices for each course. Menu seems to change frequently but if I went back tonight- I’m not sure I’d change anything- every bite was delicious! Can’t wait to return.

Special thanks to Ryanna whose warmth and kindness set the tone for my experience at Cuveé. Here you’ll find an intimate restaurant with a well priced set menu of fine delectables. The night started with a cold corn soup (ginger, verjus), fluke (apple, feen herbs), toro (caviar, picked cucumbers), lobster (my favorite and very beautifully painted), aged john dory (a rare treat with caviar velouté) and refreshing corn desserts of textures that tickle the palate. I had a wonderful time with the unpretentious and caring staff who were so accommodating. A cape gem.

Very well done. We enjoyed the 4 course tasting menu. Service was excellent and the food was prepared thoughtfully. Sometimes with a tasting menu a dish will not resonate with you but this was not the case with Cuvée. We really liked each course.

An Exceptional Dining Experience at Cuvée Our evening at Cuvée was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, every detail was executed with care, creativity, and warmth. We were fortunate to have Rafael, the sommelier, guide us through an outstanding wine pairing that elevated each course perfectly. His knowledge, passion, and genuine enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. Our server, Elena, was absolutely wonderful — attentive, gracious, and thoughtful in every interaction. She struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, making us feel so welcomed and cared for. And a special note about the chef — not only was the food brilliant in every sense (innovative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious), but the chef personally came out to speak with us. That moment made the evening even more special, and his talent and creativity truly shine through in every dish. Cuvée delivers more than a meal — it’s a world-class dining experience in the heart of Chatham. We left feeling both spoiled and inspired, and can’t wait to return.

Absolutely, hands down the best dining experience we have ever had. Food was exceptional & service was outstanding. Luz was knowledgeable and sweet. Brandon was knowledgeable in wines and paired our meal perfectly. We ordered an espresso martini at the end & they somehow stenciled our photo onto it with coffee bean powder after asking to take a photo of us. We thought it was for social media- to our delightful surprise it was stenciled onto my martini! A memorable dining experience to celebrate our engagement that we will never forget. Chef Issac & the establishment deserve a Michelin star.
Makayla S — Google review
The restaurant itself is located in the back part of the hotel. Ambiance is nice however there is no view of the outside. Beautifully decorated however think of a large conference room with dining tables where noise of other guests travels. We were served complimentary sparkling wine which was a nice touch. New chef that was personable when he came out to check on tables. Tasting menu was very creative, beautifully presented and delicious, some temperature issues from the slower service. Wine pairing were unique to include a few champagne and cider wines to pair with our meal. This is where the sommelier tests the boundaries. He has quite the personality and his pairings while it did compliment some of the dishes, didn’t impress on its own. I do appreciate the creativity that he brought but depending on one’s palate, it might not fit what you would normally expect from a fine dining french restaurant. Portions were definitely generous though. Looking back at the pairing, most of the wines seemed to be at a lower price point than expected which left me a wondering if the extra cost for wine pairing was of good value. I would not recommend the pairing rather just selecting your own wine so you know what to expect. The cheese course was a huge disappointment and I would not recommend it. Service was fine but seemed a little slow and disjointed. Overall, the meal was delicious and the experience just okay. At the higher price point of almost $1000 for two. I don’t feel it met our expectations to return.

Chatham Lighthouse, located on the southeastern tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is a historic landmark that has been guiding ships since 1808. It was originally built as part of a pair in 1877 before one was relocated in 1923. The area's transformation from a fishing village to a seaside resort began with the establishment of Hotel Chatham in 1890.
The lighthouse and Coast Guard ship were both very cool. Don't let the fact that Google says it's closed fool you - you just can't go inside the lighthouse but you can see everything and it's really incredible. The beach is stunning. If you take a little walk down onto the beach you can see the Great White Shark caution sign - it's a little hard to get a picture without walking down to it but the walk isn't too bad.
Connie P — Google review
Iconic, operational lighthouse with great views of the Chatham sand bars, dunes, and coves. Historically dangerous for ships, the bones of old ship skeletons sometimes become visible due to the ever-shifting sands. Swimming can be hazardous due to strong currents in the channel, with many warnings posted. Visited on a Sunday, so the lighthouse was closed for tours (open on Wednesdays with tickets), but it was still well worth the stop for viewing!
Erika M — Google review
We visited on a gorgeous day in mid September. Off season there is plenty of parking and not many people on the beach. It is such a peaceful way to spend the afternoon.

Got to take a tour through a friend with Navy connections. I do not believe it is open to the public generally, but if you contact them you may be able to arrange for a visit. Very beautiful and a great view!

The lighthouse is situated at the south east point of Cape Cod, in very aglomerated city Chatham. During the weekend it may be tough to find any parking lot, just wait a little, the flow is fast. The lighthouse itself is closed to the public, and is gated, you can't approach it, but you can see it very clear and the ocean views are beautiful.

We had gone in the early evening so we were not able to go up to the lighthouse. It is surrounded by a chainlink fence. The US Coast Guard is the ones who look after it so there were no trespassing signs.

Yellow Umbrella Books

Book store
Yellow Umbrella Books is a charming local bookstore located on Main St, offering a wide selection of new and used hardbacks and paperbacks. The staff is known for being incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations for both local reads and popular fiction. Visitors can expect to find an array of books by local authors as well as diverse subjects perfect for beach vacation reading. The cozy atmosphere makes it a favorite spot for families, with children often enjoying the back area while adults browse through the collection.
Yellow Umbrella Books is an underrated treasure trove of books! Few books are forward facing so you’ll either need to know what you’re looking for, or enjoy reading spines. Genres are clear cut. Isles are small. And finding what you want feels like an accomplishment. Although poor in personality, Yellow Umbrella is (in my opinion) a better option for book fanatics than Where the Sidewalk Ends down the road.
Liz — Google review
The new Chatham attitude? Or just the Yellow Umbrella? So heading into the bookstore, I notice their sign, No Food or Drinks. In compliance, I finish off my bottle of Diet Coke before heading in to shop. I immediately head over to the 20yr old guy at the counter, and ask him politely if I can toss my empty 12oz bottle into their trash. His cold and rude response, “There is a trash can outside”. (Which was a quarter of a block down, in the pouring rain.) Needless to say I won’t be giving them any of my money. But what the heck has happened to Chatham when a used bookstore starts treating their customers this way? Sigh. Double sigh. UPDATE: Going through the reviews, it’s clear this place is known for its rude staff. Really bad Karma for a used bookstore!!
Mark D — Google review
Though you may not realize it today, about 24hr's ago you were referenced in a tic toc video. Totally positive but you may want to go look, and be prepared. And go looking for the hand made card that might have been left on your premises.

Very rude encounter with the people running this shop while we were with our children looking at children’s books. Will not be be returning ever. There is another book store in town where the staff are friendly and welcoming.
James T — Google review
I stopped by with my family to buy a bunch of books to help pass the time on the long drive home. We had a few picked out when what I’m assuming was the owner stomped over to us and told us that “He’s afraid that if we couldn’t control our child then he was going to have to ask us to leave.” For reference, my one year old was quietly looking through the bin labeled “Books for kids to play with” when the owner almost bumped into him in his tiny store. I’d hate to force this guy to face his fears right then and there, so we left without buying anything. A little pro tip to the owner - If you don’t want children in your store, don’t sell children’s books.
Cristian R — Google review

Del Mar Bar and Bistro, located in Chatham and led by restaurateur John Zartarian and executive chef Maria Pollio, has been a top dining destination since its establishment in 2010. The restaurant offers a casual yet upscale dining experience with a focus on native seafood dishes like Portuguese-steamed littleneck clams and pan-roasted Faroe Islands salmon.
I have been here a few times but hadn’t been back in years - last night though was one of the best halibut dishes I have ever had and the butternut bisque and pumpkin ravioli were also absolutely incredible. I love the atmosphere in there and the service was also super great. Would highly recommend as someone that grew up on cape it’s a top 3 restaurant for sure!

Del Mar has to one of the best restaurants on the Cape. Super meal and service again last evening. Been to Italy a couple of times, however, their Gnocchi is the very best we’ve ever had. Crazy good! Super job Del Mar team.

We heard about Del Mar from edible Cape Cod magazine. They definitely lived up to the feature article on their establishment. 1. The bar is well stocked and the bartenders are skillful. The cocktail list is extensive and the drinks well executed. 2. The waitstaff is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and attentive (our waiter Simon was great, but it is a team effort). 3. The food was well made, perfectly cooked, and properly seasoned. We had a great evening. Thank you to the staff!

I have been about twenty times in the last few years and each time they are able to deliver on great cocktails, delicious food, good service, and a warm atmosphere. I would recommend anyone passing through town to stop in. The drinks really are a highlight if you like a well made cocktail; they can also make a very good dry martini which is way less common than it should be. Things I like to order include the mushroom tart (app), oysters rock (app), braised short rib (this may be seasonal), portuguese little necks, and the swordfish! I also like their pizzas; if I'm in the mood I will usually get the fig one or the sausage one and they're excellent. They used to have this amazing (imho) cocktail called the Driftwood but I think they've since moved on. Overall, very hard to go wrong with a dinner reservation here.

Went on a Monday night having never been in the area and it was packed but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Reservation highly recommended. The service was terrific for being so busy, water glasses filled before half empty, wait staff didn't miss option to update on your order. Now to the food. Everything I ordered was some of the best plates I had the oysters Rockefeller 10 out of 10 and the pork chop was the best I ever had. My wife had the bolognese linguine and the pasta tastes homemade and the serving size was perfect. I also thought the cocktail prices were very reasonably priced

Del Mar is always our first choice for date night! Whether we sit at a table or the bar, the service is so pleasant. The staff always makes you feel SO welcome! Wine list is wonderful, food is truly top tier.

The food here is the signing star. We made a reservation for 7:45pm on a Tuesday. The place was packed. Unfortunately it was so busy we didn't get our entrée amd eat until 9:05pm. The delicious food made up for it. We ordered steak fretes, cod, salmon, and filet. Drink specials were also wonderful. I would recommend this place but make sure you have a reservation.

The Chatham Railroad Museum, located in Chatham, Massachusetts, is a must-visit for history enthusiasts and railroad buffs. Housed in a restored 1887 train station, the museum showcases a collection of old artifacts and offers insight into the rich history of railroads in America. The museum's historical significance is underscored by its listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can explore the well-preserved wood caboose and learn about the role of railways in shaping local economies.
Unique little place, with tons of information about the railroads. The caboose is open for walkthroughs and the grounds are well kept. Unique in a sweet sort of way.
Theresa J — Google review
Really nice experience. This is a lovely small museum with a lot to see, read and interact with. Great place for railroad history with archival photos and an entire preserved caboose you can enter! Great for kids too!
Anna R — Google review
Fantastic little museum with interesting trinkets and a well-informed curator. I've never used a telegraph before, so the interactive one they had to try was so cool. Also, they have a retired and restored caboose that you can get inside and tour. The video inside the caboose did a great job covering the history of the railroad and was well edited to be thorough, yet concise. Overall, this was a quaint short stop that captured the Chatham spirit.
Stephen F — Google review
Great for a short visit packed with history finds! My son enjoyed the communications room... Telegraph etc but most of all the rotary phones that can call each other 😅. The caboose is also good. The volunteer was very nice, helpful, and informative.
Claire T — Google review
If you love trains and railroads, you're gonna want to stop here. A great spot filled to the brim with exhibits all about the history of trains on the Cape. The best part is the interactive component, which makes it super fun for kids and adults. They have a telegram machine, old signal phones, old ticket stampers, a train horn you can sound, and a caboose parked out back you can explore mad get a real feel for train loving. Amazing to consider how important trains were to the development of our country and how now they are so backseat.
Alexander K — Google review
We went during the week and Rick was there to greet us and make our time at the museum beyond spectacular. So much history in and outside of the museum, including an early 1900s freight caboose where you can walk through. Amazing experience for all, especially the youngins. Thanks so much for Rick and all of the other volunteers that make this place truly an amazing experience.
Chris W — Google review
Though small, the station offers a great and free experience about the railways history.

Museum is closed for the season until mid-June but you can still see some really cool-looking exhibits thorough the windows and climb on the vintage caboose behind the museum. Looks like it would be a great place to visit during the season when you can go inside!

The AWSC Shark Center Chatham is an essential stop for anyone fascinated by the world of sharks and their conservation. Located in the picturesque town of Chatham, Massachusetts, this engaging museum immerses visitors in the captivating realm of great white sharks through a variety of interactive exhibits and virtual-reality experiences. As you explore, you'll uncover the rich history behind shark research and learn about legendary figures like Frank Mundus, who famously caught the largest great white shark and inspired a character from 'Jaws.'
Cool little place. I enjoyed myself. Staff is great, especially the older gentleman that took my picture with the shark. Told me COOL infomation of things so i knew what I was looking at. Very very nice person You're lucky to have him
Cathy B — Google review
We had a great time at the Shark Center! I brought two 11-year-old boys and we had a fantastic experience. The exhibits are interactive and educational, and it was a great way to spend some time on a very hot summer day. What really stood out was the staff—everyone from the interns to the volunteers was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to answer questions, share fascinating facts, and make the experience feel personal and meaningful. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area, especially with curious kids in tow!
Jessica G — Google review
I had the best time. I learned of things I had no idea about sharks. Shout out to Jacob for being a great tour guide. Madeline and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
JE L — Google review
Our guide was wonderful and very informative! My family is very supportive of this Great White conservation group. I love their motto, "Respect the Locals." Great Whites and all sharks are fascinating, and learning more about them is exciting to me. If you can visit the Chatham center, I highly recommend it! There's one in Provincetown, too!
Kathleen M — Google review
Love the education and awareness that the Atlantic White Shark Conservatory staff provides on Sharks and how important that they are in the ocean eco system. Appreciate all that you do! Recommend stopping here to learn more about sharks. Cool shop with nice shirts, hats, and variety of shark themed clothing that can be purchased to support the ongoing research. Really loved the center that was in Provincetown too. Please take the time to learn about sharks and their vital role in the balance of the fragile ocean life that we rely on.
Steve T — Google review
We loved the shark center! First, I highly recommend reserving your time in advance online. Also, any money spent goes to the sharks as this is a nonprofit organization. It's currently $10 for adults and kids. Ages 5 and under are free. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about sharks (of course) and they were very friendly. We enjoyed the small exhibit on sharks and the fact checking throughout. The kids also learned some valuable information and were able to play in a small sand table at the end to understand shark feeding patterns. The kid also got to go outside and dig for real shark teeth, decide which one they wanted and the staff creates a necklace from you (it was $2 a child at the time of this post). Well worth the visit.
Kaitlin T — Google review
Great visit. Small place is packed with interesting exhibits and information. And the young man working was terrific. He had great insights and was really kind and friendly to our family. If you’re looking for something fun to do for about 30 or so minutes, highly recommend.
Brian V — Google review
This place is wonderful. Truly incredible. It provides the history, evolution, and biology of the white shark (aka the great white) as well as other New England species, it shows how you can track sharks that have been tagged, it has detailed information about how they tag sharks and the different types of tags, and there are stories about local sharks including Curly, Chex, and Bruno. There's even a model of Bruce, the puppet used in JAWS, a real shark cage photo op, and a summer fossil pit that kids can dig in for shark teeth. This conservancy is committed to shark research, public education, public safety, and conservation. Without it, we wouldn't know nearly as much about the North Atlantic White Shark population as we do and there's still so much more to learn. Their commitment to finding ways for humans and sharks to peacefully and safely coexist is admirable and I, for one, very much appreciate that. I appreciate everything they do. Support research!

The most amazing cheese store around...The staff was super friendly and was very informative about the different cheese. The store was very clean and well stocked with lots of wine and different pastas, oils, and cheese. We will definitely be back for the wine and cheese tasting. A must stop if you are in the area.

We had a delightful cheese & wine tasting experience at Chatham Cheese! The shop is small but very well curated. The cheesemonger that guided us through our tasting, Michael, was knowledgeable and personable. We thought it was a great value for the price — we were served a wide range of cheeses and accoutrements. We would certainly recommend the tasting experience or just a stop by the shop!
Kate L — Google review
The best cheese shop on Cape Cod. They have a variety of freshly sourced cheeses. All the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, even on new cheeses they just received. They offer samples of each cheese without any pressure to buy. You may find some of these cheeses at your local grocery store, but these cheeses are cut to order and there's definitely a noticeable difference in freshness and flavor. They offer cheese and wine pairings. Which is what the photos are from, they customize the cheeses chosen to you and your group. They also make cheese platters to order.

Seafood restaurant
Chatham Fish & Chips is a charming family-owned eatery in Chatham, MA, USA. This delightful restaurant offers traditional seafood dishes such as fried fish and clam strips. The menu features a variety of delectable options to satisfy any seafood lover's cravings. The warm and inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Customers rave about the amazing lobster roll and generous portions at reasonable prices.
Enjoyed a nice dinner here after my son recommended it. The owners' son is in school with my son. Its a very casual counter service fried seafood joint. I got the haddock wrap which was nicely fried, light, and had a nice crispy coleslaw. Flavors were great and the wrap had a tiny char which added a great flavor. The wrap was lightly dressed which prevented it from getting soggy...which was appreciated. My son had the burger....which he devoured...so im thinking it was good! The star of the show though.... the clam chowder. Super flavorful, creamy, and loaded with clams. By far one of the best I've had so far this spring! Prices are fair and comparable to other similar establishments. Perfect location of main street with its own parking! We will definitely be back!

Went here today for the 2nd time...even better than I remembered. Great service, great food, great location. But where CF&C went above and beyond was the detail to the family environment. Super kid friendly, with lots of coloring options for the kiddos. Then they let the kids put their finished products on the walls? Awesome! My boys were too busy coloring to eat . Great time. Can't wait to visit again!

A small family restaurant that serves delicious and fresh seafood. My mom and I were visiting the area and didn’t want to go anywhere too fancy, so we looked what was off the main drag of town and found this spot. We fell in love with the food! My fish and chips were massive, super hot, and amazing! My mom loved her fried fish sandwich which was also quite large. Staff are friendly and welcoming too, which is a nice plus. We will back when we’re back on the Cape.
Katie B — Google review
We had to get out of downtown and I'm so glad we did. We couldn't find anything open with parking and traffic so we went a block down Old Harbor Rd and were really surprised how good the food was. The fish and chips were amazing, but I wasn't ready for the Jerk Shrimp, Curry Goat and friendly service. WOW. They have plenty of patio seating and room inside to serve the most amazing 'not expected' dishes. I love unassuming restaurants with amazing food like this. They make their own sauces and really care about the food they put out. #shocked

I got the fish sandwich and it was so good, left me so satisfied! (the picture has a bite taken out of it) The decorations were very nice and the staff was super friendly!

A great place for families and individuals alike. The food was absolute top quality. All fried items were perfectly cooked, super fresh and not greasy at all. Lobster rolls are amazing. I would argue they are one of the best ones around. Same goes for the chowder. Haddock Rubin and Cajun shrimp were all delicious as well. It’s a down home restaurant with tables inside and outside so you can enjoy your meal no matter what the weather is. Best value in town!

Amazing seafood!! Fried shrimp is plump and lightly breaded, so good. Also had the haddock wrap, which was great. Quick and friendly service. Order at the table and they bring it right to your seat outside. Highly recommend!

I've been coming to this store for years, every trip I make to Chatham I always make sure to stop in. The woman behind the counter is always SO friendly and helpful. She is wonderful! We came in this past week and I found the exact books I was looking for, and then some. I pray this place never goes away! What a magical place with amazing staff. Thank you for all that you do <3

Enjoyed this local bookstore with a name that evokes fond childhood memories. Local authors were highlighted. What I really liked were the reviews and recommendations by the staff, which helped me choose my book. We didn't go upstairs. Appreciated having a couple chairs for resting downstairs. Clerk was friendly. We didn't realize until we checked out that there was a little nook where drinks could be ordered.

Charming bookshop with separate children’s building. Although able to order books for you, Where the Sidewalk Ends isn’t the first place to go to search for hot books. Nonetheless, a Chatham staple for ambiance alone.

Very cozy and welcoming bookstore. Very nice staff, a book choice for everyone’s taste as well as age. A lot of books for kids and teenagers. Event though the book that I was looking for was absent, they kindly offered to order it for me. Happy with my visit. Nice place to browse and shop for books.

We had amazing seafood dishes and salad to start. Karen was so kind and got us a lovely spot at the bar last minute. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Pisces! Very small, somewhat choppy sections for the tables but the food was very good! The rib eye steak was cooked perfectly. The mussels app was really tasty. And the service was excellent.

My family and I had an amazing time at Pisces Coastal Kitchen. The food was great, our server was very sweet, the atmosphere was pleasant. We were greeted extremely kindly by the hostess Karren, as she made sure we felt comfortable on a table we specifically requested. Special thanks to her! Overall, our experience was flawless, and we will definitely repeat our dinner there.

If you're looking for a night out in Chatham, with some dynamite, fresh seafood fare, add this to your list. On the Cape its hard to find a bad seafood spot, but this one is terrific. Set in a charming house, this restaurant is small in size and a popular spot, so make reservations early. It's got a fun cocktail list and every item on the menu looks better than the last one. I ordered their famous seafood stew which did not disappoint and was delicious. Their wine selection is also terrific and pairs well with their offerings.
Alexander K — Google review
We have been coming here for years. This was a huge disappointment. Steak ordered medium rare was medium well at best. Calamari was chewy and bland. Muscles overcooked. Scrod dry. Terrible, overpriced meal. Never again.
Viola P — Google review
The Chef has created a lovely menu, and the atmosphere is "beachy casual." However, there are some areas that management should focus on improving: - The bartender seems to have become complacent; he seems to be more focused on what the servers are doing, as opposed to the patrons sitting in front of him. I would happily have ordered a second cocktail, but could not seem to get his attention. -Wait staff was harried, and the girl with the kerchief on her head started banging artificial candles on the bar next to where I was seated. When I asked her if she needed assistance, she said, "these are just fun to play with. " The level of professionalism of the waitstaff is taking away from the high standards that are coming out of the kitchen.
