Nature & Parks
Lithia Park is a sprawling 100-acre expanse featuring a mix of grassy lawns, gardens, ponds, and wooded areas. It is home to various recreational facilities such as tennis and volleyball courts. The park holds historical significance as it encompasses the city's origins and several prominent landmarks in Ashland. As visitors wander along the meandering Ashland Creek, they can discover hidden gems like a Japanese Garden, bandshell, and decorative fountain.
This park is stunning and whimsical. I adore this park! There is always music of some kind going on in the park. It's beautiful to walk and also lovely to just sit by the pond with a book. It's gorgeous and if you are in Ashland you are missing out of you do not check it out.
Abbie L — Google review
Wonderful urban Park in the small town of Ashland. There are features of a typical park like grassy areas, picnic tables, and a playground. There are also multiple paths along the creek as well as some that go up the hill into a sunny Oak covered slope. There is even a free Japanese garden. Watch out you may lose cell phone service in the valley.
Ursala G — Google review
Stunning! A lovely park created by the same dude who designed the city park in NYC. Zen garden was great. I loved the redwoods. Truly one of the best parks I’ve been to
Lauryn C — Google review
One of my favorite places to go to when I wind up in Southern Oregon. It is so peaceful, calming, relaxing and refreshing. It's just a great park to be in, and it's safe. Sometimes there is deer walking and eating about, and often times there are musicians performing their music, lots of space for walking, running, hiking and picnicking, it's an extremely pleasant place /park to be. Located in downtown Ashland, OR and within walking distance of shops, eateries and performance centers, it really is a nice park to have in that area.
Pam — Google review
A great relaxing walk through a beautiful park. Japanese garden near by. River running through with access. Musicians playing. Playground. Perfect park. Did I mention wild turkeys..
Gary C — Google review
Gorgeous any time of the year. The trail through the park has wood chips and is a good route for a fairly easy hike. The Japanese Garden, the creek, the duck ponds, and the foliage year-round is stunning. One of my favorite places to be!
Karen C — Google review
Great park and beautiful walking trail along the creek, a must during the Fall. Parking can be a challenge during the weekends but you can find small parking lots along Granite St. they’re a little less crowded because everyone is mostly focused on the park’s main entrance.

What a Nice gem Ashland have. Miles of trails to be with nature yet you’re still in the city . Beautiful fall colors at its peak during my visit .

Pacific Northwest restaurant (US)
American restaurant
Restaurant
Larks Home Kitchen Cuisine, situated at the Ashland Springs Hotel, is a bright and relaxed restaurant offering French-influenced New American fare. The restaurant is located on East Main Street, making it a convenient choice for a meal before enjoying Ashland's summer plays. Larks takes pride in supporting Oregon's local farmers and purveyors by using the freshest locally sourced ingredients such as vegetables, herbs, fruits, meat from small ranchers, Oregon cheeses, and nuts.
Being at Larks is always a treat. I love the whole vibe of the restaurant and the service is friendly and attentive. There aren't many places you can get a hanger steak and they cook it to perfection. They had a breaded artichoke heart appetizer special while we were there and it was so good. I love that they have a vast wine list as well. Definitely a great spot to treat yourself, friends and family. I almost forgot about the basque cheesecake! Divine!

I’ve been there several times on special occasions. The third or fourth time I was actually able to meet the executive chef; Franco. I called him, “The Culinary Maestro!” We ordered the sausage clams, pork belly Brussels sprouts with roasted hazelnuts, pork chops with polenta and kale. Finished with a butter cake. Will definitely be back again soon to enjoy a special epicurean meal from the Culinary Maestro!!!

Larks was a nice high-end dinner here in Ashland. It was a lovely atmosphere to have a conversation and enjoy a date night. We enjoyed a steak and a curry dish. The presentation was on point and what you would expect for a higher-end restaurant. The steak was perfectly cooked to order. I recommend going here and trying this out if you're looking for a nicer upscale dinner in the Ashland area.
Tom B — Google review
We made reservations for my husband's birthday and it was everything we expected of Larks and more. The service was fantastic, food was delicious, atmosphere warm and cozy. We love that we can always rely on Larks to be consistent in all things especially their attention to the quality of their ingredients. I so appreciated their non-alcohol Lavender Lime Drop was as beautiful and tasty as their alcohol cocktails. Thank you Larks for a wonderful evening
What O — Google review
The main dishes coming out of the kitchen looked fabulous. But when in Ashland, I head to Lark’s for a phenomenal Caesar salad with grilled chicken. This visit, the dressing was delicious. The small grilled chicken breast, however, was thin and overcooked. Same on our second salad. As far as the crispy brussels sprouts starter, personal preference. Extremely oily. While the creamy goat cheese was good, chef could choose a brighter and tarter tasting goat cheese to offset the unctuousness of the sprouts. When paying higher prices, I expect more overall. Perhaps it was an off night for the busy restaurant. A lovely by-the-glass Cava for $10!
Lynn G — Google review
My in-laws have been coming to Ashland (at least) once a year for the past 20 years, and dinner at Larks is a must. My husband and I joined them this year, and they did not disappoint! The entire staff was welcoming, fun, and provided great service! We enjoyed various special/seasonal dishes as well as fan favorites (hem-hem the fried chicken). Espresso and dessert was a must, so we didn't fall asleep during the show (we were headed to)! Reservations are highly recommended!
Victoria R — Google review
Pretty basic food for a “High end Restaurant”. I got the simple burger and fries and it took 2 hours for the food to come out. The burger was overcooked and overpriced and the fries were so stale. The Atmosphere was pleasant and the servers were pretty nice. I’ll return next year in Ashland for the Shakespeare festival. Hopefully they can improve on there many flaws.
Lol X — Google review
One of my favorite restaurants in Ashland, Larks serves great cocktails and excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. The ingredients are locally derived and high quality. Someday I hope to try more of their entrées, but the fried chicken is just so good I can never resist ordering it!

Performing arts theater
Nestled in the heart of Ashland, Oregon, the Oregon Cabaret Theatre offers a unique blend of cabaret and theater performances. Housed in a historic building that was meticulously restored, this venue presents an eclectic mix of musical numbers and theatrical acts. With its optional gourmet dining experience, visitors can enjoy live entertainment in a cabaret-style setting. The theatre's season runs from February through December, providing an opportunity to immerse oneself in the vibrant arts scene of Ashland.
Wonderful, amazing, and very well done! Definitely a highlight of our weekend ! Located within the walls of an old Church. From the outside you'd never know the building had been repurposed into a enjoyable theater. The atmosphere for dinner and the presentation along with drinks by order made for an excellent time.
Ira N — Google review
It was my first time to this theater and at first glance the chains across the entrance on the downhill side and the “box office closed” sign kept me wandering around for a bit. Finally I tried the door on the Hargadine side and viola! Maybe a sign saying “entrance” or “welcome” posted would be helpful. The venue and performance was outstanding. The salad was decent, but the $12.00 key lime pie was pretty gross, melted into a puddle on the plate with dirty fingerprints on the edge. My advice would be to skip the food and enjoy the show!😎
S J — Google review
We saw Disaster last night and it was hilarious! The singing was amazing and very cleverly woven into the story line with lots of visual effects and surprising appearances by a very talented cast. We started with an incredible meal of 5 star quality that was so delicious that we both commented on how each other's choice was the best! The desert served at intermission was so decadent and yet so light! Highly recommended!!!
Chris B — Google review
The Oregon Cabaret never disappoints! High caliber, professional shows that entertain a wide array of audiences. My whole family loves seeing these shows! Dining before and during the show inside the theatre is a treat. A changing menu based on the show is delightful to discover each time, but with enough staples (like the cheese plate and Dick Hay pie!) that we know we won't be disappointed.
Zoey B — Google review
First time visiting this theatre. Charming little place with food and live stage performance. Wasn't a fan of the pathway to get to tables on the lower section of the second floor, but the view of the stage was fantastic. Next time I need to get there early enough to enjoy everything this place had to offer. I did not realize they served food also. Not a wide range of menu items but decent. Fairly reasonable price tickets for live theater. I think I'm going to get season tickets this year.
Allyson S — Google review
We have been to this theater several times and each time we have been fooled into getting food and drinks off the menu. My 3 stars is strictly for the horrible food and drinks. We just watched Disaster and we thought that the charcuterie was theme based. It was the grossest thing we have ever tried. We took a bite of each thing and had to have them remove it from the table. Drinks are badly flavored. Eat before or after the show, don't fall prey to this terrible menu. Also, they serve room temp water from the tap and it is barely drinkable. The shows are great, and we enjoy the venue.
Katie M — Google review
We've been many times before, mostly to plays with which we're familiar. We were somewhat unsure about the unknown "Disaster!" but we should have faith in OCT. It was raucously funny. Some will find flaws with the food, but if you have reasonable expectations, they will be met.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, established in 1935, is a renowned repertory festival that takes place from late February to October each year in Ashland. The festival pays homage to William Shakespeare while also embracing contemporary works, making it a vibrant center for theatrical innovation. Visitors can explore the charming town of Ashland and enjoy activities such as wine tasting, shopping, hiking, and biking in the surrounding mountains and forests.
We saw August Wilson's play Jitney, and we haven't stopped talking about it since. To say it was a fantastic experience all the way around does not do it justice. Let's put it this way, I am ready to drive the five hours to and from Ashland, OR to see it again! This is honestly one of the best venues I've been to to see stage productions. The staff from the ticket booth to the concession stand were awesome. They spoke highly of the play, which made me even more psyched to see it. 10 out of 10 recommended. That is all.
Nina B — Google review
We recently saw the Julius Ceasar play. Personally, it was hard for me to initially get into because of all the women playing male roles. Wish that there was a gift shop open afterward and that they would have announced intermission as well as how long it would be. The lights just came on, and nothing was said.
Nicole D — Google review
Watched Into the Woods today and loved it. Beautiful production and acting of the cast was amazing. Came all the way from Sacramento to watch the show and loved every single minute of it.

Better than any local theater you'll ever be. These are Broadway performances and huge productions. You've got to get the chance to go and see this if you like live theater in any way. Every show I've ever been to here has always performed immensely, and I would recommend a show to anybody! 🎭🤩✨ #Broadway #Performances #Theater #Productions #Shows

My husband and I visit Ashland a couple of times a year and always make seeing a play a must. This time we saw Shane (the fighting scenes were fantastic), The Merry Wives of Windsor (hilarious and delightfully cringey), and Quixote Nuevo (hands down the best show I’ve ever seen)—and we were absolutely blown away! Every production was incredible, and the theaters were beautiful and so comfortable. Truly an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!
Kate P — Google review
This place is so much fun, especially if you’re really into theater! I completely fell in love with it and highly recommend watching a play or show at night — when the lights come on, everything just comes to life. The actors are incredible — I had never seen a play before, but after my first one here, I absolutely fell in love. Even if you don’t fully understand Shakespeare or the old folklore language, you’ll still get it through the actors’ amazing expressions. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it all was — I was truly astonished! The only thing I’d say is that the concession stand prices are a bit high, so I recommend bringing your own water. Other than that, I adore this place — I’d go every day if I could!
Rosalinda N — Google review
Oregon Shakespeare Festival is officially BACK in every way (if it ever really left.) There is a reason this legendary theatre in little ol' Ashland, Oregon has the world-class reputation that it does, and it was on full display with this season's offerings; truly a fitting celebration of OSF’S 90th season. And the lineup for 2026 looks equally promising! If you get the chance to experience it for yourself, don't miss it.

The Ashland Springs Hotel, a Beaux arts-style establishment dating back to 1925, offers elegant rooms, a spa, and a farm-to-table restaurant. Situated just blocks away from the Elizabethan theatre of the Shakespeare Festival, this historic landmark provides stunning views of the valley from its top floor. The hotel's Larks restaurant serves satisfying meals while the well-maintained grounds offer an intriguing experience for guests.
Wonder old and renovated hotel. Like many European hotels most of the rooms are not as spacious as more modern hotels and inns but they are well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast is a step up from a ‘continental ’ morning meal. Sheets and linens are also a step-up with Cotton ruling the day. The hotel location is in heart of town so walking to most everywhere is order of the day. Prices are a bit on the higher side depending on your view and how high up your room is. We enjoyed the treat of staying there on our road trip.
Jack J — Google review
This was our third year in a row staying at the Ashland Springs Hotel for a weekend trip to the Shakespeare Festival. The hotel is turning 100 years old and despite that age the service has been good and the rooms clean. Unfortunately this trip we were caught off guard by the lack of quality in our experience. 1. When we arrived at our room the comforter had stains on it and the bathroom had long black hair all over. We were going to go ask for additional cleaning, but decided not to when we passed the maid laundry area on the way to the lobby. The employees looked exhausted and clearly were having a good time. 2. When you look around the hallways and rooms its one continuous landlord special of cover up jobs. We were unlucky to be in a room near some noisy folks who had a door with no soft stop. Every time they went in and out our whole room shook. Late night and early morning. This should be an automatic repair item for hotel management. 3. The towels in the bathroom were tattered and frayed. I’m all for using things until they are worn out, but not when I’m paying $300 a night. How is there not a budget for towels and bedding to be replaced? 4. When I check out they were unable to give me a receipt because of a “printer problem”. I got to my car and checked my email to see they overcharge me vs me reservation booking from 6 month prior. When I went in I had to find my email and hand my phone to the front desk. Not a huge fan of someone else handling my phone when they have the info on their computer. After some theatrics the employee said it was a $20 resort fee that they added. It was obvious I was not the first person to bring this up. Not only was that not on my reservation, but I was not informed of a new fee ahead of time or at check in. Considering they had time to text me a month ago saying they were eliminating the free breakfast, they could have mentioned the fee at that time. My advice to management – Raise the price a bit and maintain the hotel service and quality. Cutting the service, stressing staff, and adding random fees makes for an off putting experience when you are spending $300 a night. What used to be a unique and cool hotel experience just ended up feeling cheap. You have plenty of business, are the only hotel downtown, and offer a historic charm. Just raise the price $25 a night and do your job to maintain the staff and property. Good grief. We will not be staying here on our trip next year. Hopeful there is a change in ownership or management in the future.
Ed M — Google review
I made a reservation on-line for two nights, paid for the reservation, and have a receipt that says breakfast included. When I checked into the hotel, I was told that even thought I had already paid, the hotel had changed their policy, and now breakfast was $18 per person. I complained to the desk staff, but was told there was absolutely nothing they could do. It was a decision made by the owner, and I was given an e-mail address. I contacted that person, and was told that even though I was staying two nights, they would only comp me one breakfast. I subsequently let him know that this was not appropriate, but he refused to respond. I had paid for a standard single room based on the picture that was shown. The room I was given, however, was postage stamp sized. I should have received some kind of credit for the fact that the room was not what was listed. I am willing to overlook the fact that the room was so incredibly small that I had to place the one provided chair into the closet and place one suitcase into the unusually tiny bathroom. I can also accept that because it is an old building I had to move a table and get down onto my hands and knees to find an electric outlet next to the floor to plug in my phone for charging. But I cannot accept the fact that once I had paid for something, they refused to provide it. I will absolutely never stay in this hotel again.
Larry B — Google review
Definitely a 3 star hotel at 4 star prices. The rooms are fine. There is an elevator. The garden outside is cute. But the amenities are terrible. No valet. No service at all, really. I asked for help with luggage and they couldn’t even locate a trolley. I had to scout one out. Not happy. Will not return.
Camillia G — Google review
Great hotel location. Great services, breakfast buffet in the am. Found a fly frozen in ice from the dispenser and only 2 tissue in the kleenex dispenser. Otherwise nice rooms, quiet, with comfy beds.
Alan — Google review
THE HOTEL ADDS EXTRA CHARGES AFTER YOU CHECK OUT! I made a reservation on 3/31/25. My credit card was charged in full. After I checked out @ 715 AM, on 7/7/25, I noticed a charge for $11.21 on my credit card statement. I called the manager, Craig Stevens, and he said this was a facility fee. It is a new policy effective May 2025. I reminded him I made my reservation in March. He said if I do not pay the extra fee charged after I left the hotel, I could never stay at the hotel again. I understand the hotel is under new management; it is definitely not an improvement from my many former visits. DO NOT STAY HERE; they will bill you with your card on file, even if you made your reservation prior to the new policy!

Hearsay Restaurant, Lounge & Garden is a charming establishment located in the lower level of Ashland's renowned Old Pink Church. The warm and inviting eatery offers a diverse menu featuring American steaks and seafood. Guests can enjoy the cozy interior adorned with local artist murals or opt for outdoor seating in the leafy garden. The restaurant prides itself on delivering an exceptional dining, social, and entertainment experience.
Hearsay was such a treat! It looks like it’s been around for quite some time. We were able to eat in back garden/patio area without reservations because we arrived close to 5pm but making reservations is highly recommended. The garden feels like a beautiful oasis. It’s such a pleasant spot to eat a yummy meal. The drinks all looked like they were prepared with a lot of love. The scallops, though small were delicious. All of our food was really good. We were pleasantly surprised by this sweet place.

Perfect in every detail! We loved our hand crafted and original cocktails! Strawberry infused campari paired with caraway liquor and sweet vermouth? Wow! We loved the seared scallops with ripe, mango and jalapeno. The beet salad with orange and feta was delicious and we fell upon it. Our entrees were the chicken Milanese, fried tender crispy in lemon better caper mustard cream sauce with mashed potatoes and aurricula salad. And the flaky rich halibut in brown butter with asparagus and parsnip puree. For dessert, the lime coconut sorbet with shortbread was bright and fun and well worth it. You made our night, Hearsay. Thank you!

We had reservations for a Monday at five o'clock. Being early diners we had the patio to ourselves where we were promptly seated. The surrounding shrubs and trees added to an idyllic setting. The wine list is more than adequate, featuring many Oregon and California reds. For a starter I selected the Spanish grilled octopus which rocked my taste buds ... expertly prepared to the right tenderness and served on a bed of cannellini beans. For the main course the short ribs served on polenta with a layer of wilted spinach hit all the high notes. The halibut and shrimp and pasta dishes were also raved about by our group. By the time our dinner arrived the restaurant was filled to capacity. The service at times was a little less than attentive and was knocked down one star.

Our party of 10 visited before going to a play. Great food, almost everyone got a different cocktail and enjoyed them all (but the fancy gin and tonic). Short ribs seemed to be the biggest hit food wise. The outdoor atmosphere was enjoyable, and the service was excellent for a large party.

Cute jazzy eclectic restaurant near the oregon cabaret theater. Menu is small but offers delicious items. There is garden seating, but we have not been offered a table out theret and we have visited twice. Service is good. It did take a little while to get our first drink. But after that, the service picked up. We would definitely return!

Lovely spot to dine before an evening of theater (no theater for us, just dinner). Their cocktails are creative, appetizers delish to share. We had grilled asparagus and the goat cheese with citrus jam and crostini, also shared the beet salad. Entrees were great burger, veggie platter chicken Milanese, and prawn fettuccine, all delish. I didn't care for strong goat cheese, and theirs was mild enough for me to enjoy.
Colleen S — Google review
An excellent menu of classy new American dishes has really improved of late. The short rib here is to die for so well smoked and braised to a creamy fork soft texture. The onion tart on the starter side is also amazing. Salad choices are also upper end. Great atmosphere, craft cocktails, and even a small but adequate wine and beer menu make this a good restaurant for date night and enticing food for the foodie in your group. Service here is prompt and very professional. Ashland has few such restaurants, so just go!

Nestled in Ashland, 'Harvey's Place' is a charming restaurant owned by Rob & Anny Harvey. The menu draws inspiration from the Pacific Northwest, emphasizing comfort and quality. Guests rave about the delectable offerings, with highlights such as Anny's Carrot Cake stealing the spotlight. Whether it's a family dinner or a date night, patrons appreciate the excellent food and cocktails.
For our 22nd wedding anniversary my husband and I came here. We started with the artichoke dip. Our main entree we're, for me the salmon with polenta and spinach., and my husband had the filet mignon, mashed potatoes, and Cesar salad. I chose this place based on menu items. The food was delicious, the waitress was great, and the atmosphere felt romantic, perfect for our anniversary. Definitely will go again in the future.

The caprese salad was delicious and I would absolutely order it again! The ribs were pretty good, while tender they didn't have the best flavor but the mashed potatoes and spinach were great! Our server was really sweet and the cocktails were also very tasty. We had a big group and our server was very accommodating to our needs and since it was a work group we had separate checks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HARVEY'S Our first time here and what a pleasant surprise. From initial greeting to being seated and then to food recommendations, Faith was incredibly polite and friendly making the dinner an experience. The fish and chips was good. The clam chowder was one of the best I've ever had. I fly to Monterey usually for the best clam chowder, but this was as good or better. The meatloaf was very flavourful and well paired with a creamy mashed potatoes and Spinach. I take Faith's word that the Pot DE Creme is the best example of good things come in small packages. With 59M views of my reviews, it might seem like all I do is eat, but the truth is it's not far from the truth.

We’ve been coming here for 11 years. We used to come for the baked Brie appetizer, then they took it off the menu for some unknown reason. Now, we come to ask about the baked Brie. Every time we ask they say “everyone always asks! but we don’t have it anymore”. If everyone always asks THEN BRING IT BACK!!!! …. Unfortunately, we just had our last meal at Harvey’s. We waited an hour for our food, we were never checked on or updated, our appetizer plates were never cleared. No apology, no explanation, our waitress didn’t even approach the table until after A DIFFERENT waitress had to serve us food. The shrimp had veins, the burger was raw, the pork chop was tough. The restaurant is loud, uninviting (despite the cheap fairy lights strewn all around) and generally very mid. We’ve never had an outstanding meal here, but they USED to have outstanding baked brie. All of this being said, EVERYTHING would be forgiven and we would become OFTEN patrons again if they just brought the brie back. PLEASE!! It’s the only redeeming part of this place.

Harvey's is one of our favorite restaurants for family dinners and date nights equally. The food and cocktails are always good. Service is also good while slow at times, as things go these days with staff shortages. Just be prepared to be patient.

Nestled within The Winchester Inn in downtown Ashland, Alchemy Restaurant and Bar is a high-end dining establishment that offers an elegant atmosphere and New American cuisine. Embracing the concept of alchemy, the restaurant's chefs skillfully combine individual ingredients to create exquisite dishes. From vibrant produce to savory meats and seafood, each element is carefully crafted into culinary masterpieces. The refined staff shares a passion for creating balanced and artful dishes that represent the essence of alchemy.
We had a fantastic experience at Alchemy and we will be returning for sure. The food was amazing and worth going just for that but the service impressed us just as much. We made a last minute reservation for our anniversary and they were able to get us in which was great. The staff were attentive but not over bearing and they answered our questions and made sure we had what we needed. Our server was brilliant and he made our dining experience top notch. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate inside and the outdoor seating was spacious and peaceful. As we were leaving the deer were meandering up the hill. The aged ribeye was perfect and absolutely huge. The lamb shank was delicious and tender. Everything had amazing flavors without being overwhelming. The drinks were pleasant as well. I would recommend Alchemy for a special celebration or just a pleasant evening out.

Atmosphere was great as was the service. The food on the other hand had some issues. 1. The scallop appetizer comes with three scallops. There were four of us. We indicated we would be happy to pay a bit more to have a fourth scallop added. We were given a lame excuse about keeping the count correct. 2. The duck dish was good but not up to the price level. The breast portion was a bit tough. 3. The filet mignon had a hunk of gristle and too much fat. Not what I would expect at a dining establishment of this caliber.

Some dining adventures can be sheer magic. Such was our experience this past Saturday night when we took out of state family to Alchemy for dinner. it was a magical mix of wine, weather and a professional wait staff who took fantastic care of us. Kudo's to Christian, a great waiter, who saw to everything ... from dinner selections and a great wine pairing. The Caesar salad was a cut above, but the fig salad sent our taste buds into orbit. My filet was grilled as requested ... medium rare. Evan , the new chef found ae free minute to come out of the kitchen and introduce himself. His outward, embracing personality is reflected in his cooking. Reservations are a good idea.

The food was quite good, although I've definitely had better at this price point. Nice cocktails. The service was friendly and helpful, but super slow - we got there at 6:15, and didn't have time for dessert before we had to leave for our 8:00 show. The atmosphere was pleasant. I would recommend for a leisurely dinner, but make sure you've allowed lots of time before a show.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I was dressed right. Place is a bit fancy but they didn’t treat us like outsiders. Had a glass of Pinot and the duck breast. Both hit. Service was a little stiff, but the food was really well done. Would come back if I wanted to impress someone.

My partner and I came in for dinner and our experience was great! The drinks and food were very delicious. The lamb tartare is a must try as our server Kidd was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. It was a busy night and our food came out promptly. Kidd’s recommendations were spot and he helped make our evening special. We would have preferred to sit outside but Mother Nature had other plans. We look forward to coming back.

The Alchemy restaurant in Ashland offers a wonderful blend of location and atmosphere — refined without feeling pretentious. Service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience. The tuna carpaccio was excellent, fresh and delicate in flavor. I particularly enjoyed the foamed potatoes and the kale-and-mushroom side that accompanied my ribeye; both were prepared with care and full of character. The ribeye itself was cooked perfectly, but fell short in other respects — only about three-quarters of an inch thick, lacking marbling, and somewhat difficult to cut. On the brighter side, I had a “fun” gin and tonic made with locally sourced tonic, which brought an unexpected twist to a classic drink. Overall, a restaurant worth visiting for its setting, service, and inventive touches, with a few areas for improvement in the steak department.

Went here for a birthday dinner and we each tried something different. They were ALL phenomenal. The service was amazing, the butter was especially devine. And what a beautiful garden view! We also loved the restaurant layout and how the smaller rooms make things more intimate.

Brickroom is a stylish and architecturally stunning restaurant located on the second floor with a beautiful deck overlooking the Plaza. The menu offers modern American small plates and mains, complemented by an impressive selection of craft cocktails. The casual yet vibrant atmosphere often features live music on weekends, attracting a lively crowd. While reservations are recommended during peak times, the experience is well worth it for the beautifully presented and delicious food.
This was a lovely meal. If you sit outside on the patio you can listen to the creek flowing. They have an awning and umbrellas for the outdoor dining. The food was locally sourced and yummy. The menu wasn’t too long, but everything was done well. We were pleasantly surprised by the baked olives served warm with herbs. The loaded fries! You can’t go wrong with bacon. We went in a group and everyone loved their food and craft cocktails. The hummingbird and Mary Sue were our two favorite cocktails. It is on a second floor so make sure you’re looking for it.

No dice. We understand staffing issues are often beyond the control of restaurant management but at some point, ya gotta acknowledge the customer and apologize. Obviously they were short staffed on a Saturday morning in August. Ashland was packed and rainy so cafes were *busy*. Everyone hustled *hard* here but the place was half full and after a 5 minute wait at the host stand and FORTY minutes after being seated, we had still gotten not one word of acknowledgment from a server. Nothing. I think of us as pretty understanding but ya gotta at least say you’re sorry. We had a 1:30 play & were hungry so we bailed at Noon. 45 minutes of coffeeless salivating was enough. Too bad. The menu looked great, the drinks looked awesome and the decor was very nice. Maybe you’ll catch them on a good day. We didn’t and there are plenty of other choices. We headed to a fully packed Brothers who warmly greeted, quickly seated & served us right away.

I absolutely adored my experience here. I sat outside for an early dinner. The sun was hitting the balcony just right and the creek was babbling away. I ordered the dirty fries (no banana pepper) as an appetizer and the cherry pork belly for my meal (substituting rice for the polenta which I think made it a lighter dish). The fries were tasty and the ranch was really good. The pork belly though?! Out of this world good. The cherry compote is perfectly acidic to balance the fattiness of the pork belly, then the chili oil drizzle gives it this mild but lingering heat and the shaved green onions on just add delicious freshness. I highly highly recommend this dish. I’m only visiting for 2 days and I’m considering going back for it tomorrow!!!

Definitely deserves 5 stars. Great atmosphere, a solid bar and a wonderfully curated menu, particularly the entrees. From the starters section, the spicy blackened cauliflower is excellent, the cubano is a straight classic from the sandwiches, and I was pleasantly surprised by the tender and flavorful flat iron steak over garlic mashed potatoes. Great spot in a neighborhood of great spots.

We came two days in a row for bunch. We were some of the only ones there for Friday brunch and had an incredible bartender/waitress who was so helpful, cool, and friendly. She was one of the reasons we braved the more busy Saturday brunch and even with the crowds the vibes at Brickroom were immaculate. Can’t say enough about the staff, and the only thing better was the food. Really great food with gorgeous presentation and attention to detail— again, that can be hard to come by on a busy day so we were so impressed with the quality of care from the entire Brickroom team. You may see us again tomorrow 🤭

Standing Stone Brewing Company is a solar-powered brewery and restaurant in Ashland, offering locally sourced pizza, pub grub, and a cozy dining atmosphere. Visitors praise the friendly staff and delicious food, with highlights including the cheese pizza with flavorful crust and red sauce, as well as the chicken tortilla salad. The establishment's spacious interior and outdoor seating options provide a comfortable setting for enjoying their menu offerings.
Many of us have experienced not being able to see the forest for the trees but sometimes you can't see the trees for the forest. There are so many great places to eat, drink and hang out in Ashland that sometimes you miss something. I have walked past SSBC a hundred times, I finally walked through their doors and I'm so happy I did. It's much bigger inside than you'd suspect. Intimate and cozy dining area, nice outside seating option with heaters. We sat in the bar area up front and enjoyed some of their beers and shared some very good French fries. Friendly staff, very clean, open kitchen concept. I look forward to our next visit and trying out their pizza and burgers. I really liked the 2IPA.

I went out on a limb and got Brussels sprouts, which I normally don't like and would never order. They were fried to a crispy perfection and served with a delicious garlic sauce - I actually liked them! The beer flight sampler was delicious. The winner beer according to me was the Dark Vader. I had a burger which was yummy and also the Marionberry Cobbler was super delicious, the crust was perfect and the ice cream oozed all over. Joan was a great waitress - a nice person and she made sure I had everything I needed. Thanks, Joan!

We’re from out of state but find ourselves visiting Ashland every one to two years. I always try to dine at SS when we’re in town because of the consistent nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. My son says the cheese pizza is “the truth!” with a delicious red sauce and chewy flavorful crust. I appreciate that the kids meals come with an option for edamame as opposed to only fries. The chicken tortilla salad is quite honestly the best of the best. I wanted to bottle up that dressing and take home! So so good. 10/10 experience as always.

Really good food in a cool space. I built my own burger w/ the beef patty and added blue cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and caramilized onions. It also came with tomato jam, which was really awesome. Those sauteed mushrooms really were the star, though. Everything seemed super fresh and well prepared. Happy hour parmesan garlic fries were good enough but I wasn't a huge fan of the basil aioli. Superior customer service.

We tried three tasty beers. The club sandwich is delicious and hearty and the curry sweet potato fries are meaty and crisp. The host was clueless, but the meal made up for this. Bring your growler, they fill just about any container here!

Standing conveniently located smack dab in the middle of Ashland town center, Standing Stone Brewery is my rock when the call of hunger creeps into the belly of this outlaw. Whether it's a hot date, a family outing, a girls night out on the town, or just a beer when the whistle runs dry after a beautiful stroll in Lithia Park.. the Stone is the place to hone in on. My compadres. I must admit, Mexican is my favorite and I mostly only ever eat tacos.. but friends, believe it or not, the Standing Stone whips up the best asada tacos featuring local organic steak with some of the tastiest authentic salsas served on the side to pepper your senses to your gastrointestinal satisfaction delight? Well u better believe it comrade, because this place will even make a burrito out of those same ingrediente for a couple dollars more. I recommend adding avocado 🥑 to any dish, and make sure to tip the waitress Emma with the pink bow tie extra generously.. she's great and shows the customers a level of attention and service usually thought of as being long gone, only found in the old days.. and for a man of class, taste and sophistication, such as myself.. I'm happy to tip and show my extra gratitude. Thanks again and keep on truckin.

I was craving eggs Benedict (which was random for me) so I sought out a spot that had it. Not only did they have several Benedict options, they customized my order to be exactly what I wanted. The portion was generous, the vegetables were fresh and delicious, the eggs were perfectly cooked, the ham was noticeably high quality, and the hollandaise sauce was plate licking good. On top of that, the potatoes were delicious and crispy on the outside yum. The service was attentive and casual, and I sat by the creek out back for ambiance. I would absolutely recommend Greenleaf.

Simple, elegant, and delicious. My wife and I went for breakfast. Our server, Aleeyah, was absolutely fantastic. She was delightful and knowledgeable about the menu. She suggested the French toast and Norwegian Trout Benedict which was absolutely magnificent. Although I wish the onions were on the side as they over power the smoked trout at times. My wife ordered the farmhouse Marion berry pancakes which were generous and delicious. We’ll have to go back and try the French toast. The outdoor seating in back is charming.

How good is Greenleaf's breakfast? So good that we'll drive two hours just for their awesome grub. The Fancy Potatoes are just the best (make sure to add an egg!), their breakfast burrito is amazing... I could go on. But we wouldn't make the trek up there if it was just about the food. During our recent trip to Ashland, Oregon, we stumbled upon a hidden culinary gem that we simply can't stop raving about: Green Leaf Restaurant. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. We sat on the patio by the river, the stage for a remarkable dining experience. To start our meal, we couldn't resist ordering the Potato Skins. These delightful appetizers were a heavenly combination of crispy potato skins smothered in melted cheese, sautéed mushrooms, bacon, and green onions. We would never think of adding mushrooms to potato skins and wow it’s a wonderful addition, and the accompanying ranch dip added the perfect touch to this delicious appetizer. Sincerely the best potato skins we’ve ever had, not kidding! My daughter had the Rustic Soup. It was a comforting choice. Made fresh daily, Cream of Zucchini I believe made with coconut milk. Served with garlic bread, she loved it! Our son ordered the Short Rib French Dip, and it was a true winner. The braised short rib, on a French roll, was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The accompanying rich au jus for dipping added a savory dimension that elevated the sandwich to new heights. My wife ordered the Free Verse Veggie Pasta, a vegetarian delight that exceeded all expectations. The oven-roasted tomatoes, roasted garlic, white wine, and olive oil created a harmonious symphony of flavors, which blended beautifully with the basil and fettuccine. Topped with Parmesan cheese and served with garlic bread, this dish was a celebration of freshness and creativity. The addition of blackened chicken added a delightful twist, taking the dish to another level. As for me, I indulged in the Braised Short Rib, and it was an absolute triumph. The boneless beef short rib was flawlessly cooked and rested on a bed of creamy garlic mashed potatoes. The red wine reduction added another level to this fantastic dish. It was a culinary experience I was not expecting. The Green Leaf Restaurant in Ashland, Oregon, is a true hidden gem. From the exceptional service to the outstanding flavors of each dish, every aspect of our dining experience was impeccable. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a remarkable culinary adventure in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Special thanks to Hayden for his outstanding service and welcoming personality. We will be back!

My ex had bought my son a little kitty figurine from this location but he lost it on a trip with me to visit his grandparents. I'm not local so i emailed them a description hoping they maybe could identify it and possibly send it to me. They had several team members work with me to identify and ship it to me quickly. I didn't expect them to do this for a small dollar value item and my son is very happy that dad "found" his kitty for him.

Overwhelming and not a lot of space which made it hard to shop. Was hoping to find some kind of small ashland souvenir, like a magnet or postcard but didn't see any. Definitely a gift shop because it is full of stuff you don't need. Felt like a TJ Maxx. Nothing particularly unique, just overpriced stuff to help you show off and appear "trendy"

I cannot recommend this place. Experienced my first and last visit today. I had planned to have a fast food burger but this seemed like a much better choice and it was close. I told the attendant at the window it was my first visit and asked for a recommendation. She advised the burger. I asked to add Jalapeños and a side of potato salad. After a slightly longer wait than expected my take away order arrived. I was given a burger and a small bag of potato chips. I went back and corrected that. When I looked in the bag the burger looked larger and nicely packed so I was anticipating something. What I got was an overcooked, relatively tasteless hamburger patty in a toasted-to slightly burnt bun and a whole mess of lettuce. It is possible a jalapeño whispered hello as they acknowledged each other in the kitchen, but it never laid itself down on my burger. No jalapeños and almost no taste. Seriously Wendys would have been a better choice. There are plenty of sort of reasonable sort of good food establishments in Ashland. I think you can give this one a miss.

Overall, this sandwich spot is good and I would definitely go back to it. I would recommend!

I want to love this place, but after trying it out 4ish times I think the best I can say is it’s ok. I think the food has the potential to be excellent, but it misses the mark a bit. The good: flavor profile is lovely and there were good pickled vegetables on the cubano. The rest: the sandwich bread routinely gets very soggy within a few minutes, so it has to be eaten immediately which makes takeout less viable. Pork on the cubano was pretty dry and it took about a half hour to get my order with during a non-busy time I think this spot has some great aspects, but I feel like a bit more work is needed in some other areas

Decided to go here because it was on Diners Drive Inns and Dives. The food was very good. I had the Zombie Pastrami. The meat was delicious as well as the slaw. The potato salad was delicious as well. Seemed a little expensive for a sandwich, potato salad, and a can of pop but that's probably just today's economy. Definitely worth trying!

Not the cheapest, not the biggest, not the fastest but... One of the best sandwiches you can get in southern oregon! We were the first order of the day, lots of employees running around, sandwich took 20 minutes for them to make. These are finger licking sandwiches so have clean hands. Ordered the Pastrami Zombie to split, for 75 cents they split the sandwich and added an extra pickle and bag of chips. Very nice touch. The pastrami was delicious but we got a couple of tough gristly pieces. The slaw was excellent, the rye bread was good but maybe it should have been toasted? Great music playing, comfortable seating,(for a parking lot 🤣) good vibes. Next time Italian Beef.

Beautiful park, great facilities. Tennis courts just resurfaced. Unfortunately there are lots of homeless and associated trash and drug paraphernalia, like so much of this area.

Bakery
Mix Bakeshop is a bustling urban spot that offers a delightful array of delicate pastries, premium coffee, and housemade ice cream in unique flavors. The shop's inviting atmosphere and friendly staff create a warm and welcoming experience for visitors.
Great little bakery with a very nice variety of delicious offerings both sweet and savory. We really enjoyed the almond croissant with it's incredible lamination and soft fluffiness. The almond filling is delicious and evenly distributed so you almost get some in every bite. The ginger cookie is absolutely delicious and I won't miss an opportunity to get one on any return trips. We got a caramel tart and I really enjoyed it. It is salted caramel in a tart casing, what's not to love? The ham and gruyere breakfast tart could benefit from some moisture in the form of a jam or jelly but was otherwise pretty good if not slightly under salted for my tastes but I like a lot of salt. We also got what they call a Bostock which is a croissant loaf soaked in orange syrup and topped pears. It was good and we would get it again but not before we got another cookie and croissant. We'll be back to this little bakery for sure!

Monday... Stopped in after dinner for a coffee. Really good call. Brilliant cold brew made with Stumptown's "Bakeshop Blend", but the showstopper is the pastry case. Tonight we split a lemon meringue tart, and after that masterpiece there's zero chance we're not sampling the breakfast case with an espresso in the morning. Trust me, get in your steps and stop by for a well earned guilty pleasure. Tuesday morning update... As expected, the early coffee and fully restocked pastry case are just brilliant. Flaky and delicious chocolate and almond croissants 🥐, and the daily special banana bread lattes are likely the best I've ever tasted. Can we add more stars?♥️☕ Wednesday... Back again and still amazed. Put Mix high on your list when in Ashland.

Very busy place. There was a line out the door. Coffee, ice cream, bread, pastries and more. Delectable looking bakery goods. We ordered a lemon meringue tart and a ham and gruyere egg pie. She asked if I wanted it toasted and I did. When we got it was still on the cold side. We asked if we could get it heated up more and waited like 15 mns, finally trying to find someone and they had forgot it. I didn't care for it either (too much of a spice on it) but the lemon pastry was good. Seating outside and inside fills up quickly on the weekend

I want to give it 5 stars for the great quality of the desserts and ice cream, and the great price too! The Earl Grey chocolate chip ice cream was so good! The strawberry cake was the best I've ever had—I love it because it's fresh, made with real cream, and not overly sweet!
Lila C — Google review
I stopped in here after dinner to take some desserts home. I got a meringue cupcake and chocolate peanut butter bar. Both were incredibly good. The cupcake was moist and the meringue topping was like a delicious marshmallow fluff. The chocolate peanut butter bar was sort of like eating a peanut butter and chocolate cookie dough. I loved it, but it was very rich! Had to share that one. I didn’t get a drink or stay to eat there but I definitely recommend the baked goods! The service was quick and friendly.

Absolutely loved this place! The coffee was top-notch! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee.

This is probably the best bakery that I found so far in the rogue valley. The lemon meringue tar is amazing. The coconut macaroons are pretty good when they're crispy, and their chocolate chip cookies are ok. I was a little unimpressed with the coffee but it was okay as well

This is my favorite place to get ice cream and sweet treats. My favorite ice creams are the cookie based ones. Their carrot cake is incredible. That’s what my son wants for his birthday every year. I’m also a huge sucker for their chocolate caramel macaron. 🤤🤤

American restaurant
Louie's of Ashland is a laid-back spot offering American cuisine and cocktails, complete with a charming creekside patio, game nights, and sports on TV. The restaurant provides an extensive menu with options for both humans and dogs, including many vegetarian choices. Diners have praised the delicious food at reasonable prices, such as tacos, hummus, Thai lettuce wraps, BBQ ribs, and wild-caught salmon. The atmosphere is described as warm and inviting with attentive but not overbearing staff.
Good service and good food with reasonable prices. Also has a wide selection. Truffle fries were ok. the Oregon Ribs which did not have much of a blackberry taste but were still good. Chicken skewers had a spicy sauce along with them. Somewhat small for $11. Chicken. Canoes were tasty. Drinks were strong. My wife liked the lavender lemon drop so much she got 2. Service was attentive. Food came fast.

We tried out Louie’s on a recent trip to Ashland, and boy was it good! We lucked out with weather and were able to sit out back on the patio which was delight and right next to Lithia Creek! The staff were very friendly and helpful with making menu suggestions. The food was delicious and came very quickly! This is a great eatery to try on your next visit to Ashland!

Delicious, healthy eats! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We called ahead for a walk in order of the chicken skewers meal with sweet chili and peanut sauce, paired with organic greens and brown rice—nutritious and tasty. Added espresso ice cream, creamy and perfect for a park stroll, melting into a fluffy, mousse-like texture. Will definitely return! Side note: every experience with the staff was superb and matched with a genuine smile.

The setting here is so fun, by the creek, along the path to the theater where many restaurants are situated. They are SO dog friendly, even with an individual water bowl and a fur-baby menu!!! Kip had chicken and rice. 😀 Their human menus are color coded. Vegan (green) and gluten free ( blue) for example. But lots of meat dishes too. Small plates. Great cocktails (purple menus) . Really affordable. Really good wait staff who all came and greeted my pup. My waiter Cody was awesome- Thank You! Can't recommend this place enough, I'll be back.

Dinner outside was a nice experience until the flies became relentless. The service was good, out waiter was friendly and prompt. I try to be kind in my reviews. The food was OK. Not what we expected. The grilled cheese not up to par. Expected a few more spring rolls. My burger was ok . I don't highly recomend but I do recomend. The rest of our meal was fine. Great fries.

MÄS

New American restaurant
MÄS is a 16-seat tasting menu restaurant in Ashland, offering daily-changing dinners served omakase-style, depending on the market bounty of the day. Chef Josh Dorcak's vision was to create an intimate dining experience insulated from economic turbulence. Guests can savor dishes like spring benedict for brunch and house-brined Carlton Farms pork porterhouse for dinner at Larks Restaurant.
Chef Dorchek first popped up on my radar in 2014/15 if I remember correctly. His food was different then and it’s different now. It challenges your mind, your tastebuds and your senses. We dined at his first pop up event, watched his first Culinary Competition in Ashland and then dined at his newly opened restaurant Mas as well as Nama. Over the years his food has been a delight to sample and tonight it was no different. Josh was away but we were treated to the same lavish tasting menu with his Chefs as if he were there himself. As each course was plated in front of us we were given detailed information on each dishes unusual ingredients as well as the journey each had in its place on that plate. Each ingredient enhancing the flavors of the dish. This is not the place to visit if you cannot adapt yourself to the menu without compromising the taste profile. However having said that - the Chef will adapt to your requirements (preferably with prior knowledge) to give you the best dining experience that he can - but as I said the “original ingredients tell the story”. Our evening was spent in the great company of likeminded hospitality folk - Chef Andy, Chef Jeffrey and Sommelier Joe Shaugnessey. Because we chose to sit at the counter we shared an intimate couple of hours with them talking about food, hospitality and of course Wine and Sake. These are the two pairing choices that are offered with your meal. Both very complimentary to the seafood, meat and dessert choices. Joe’s wine and sake knowledge make for great conversation. If you are “into” food like me then you will understand why this was one of the best “birthday” ideas that my husband has had.

Have been twice in the past year. Consistently amazing. Will take you on a tour of the area, the west coast, the ocean between here and Japan, the vineyards of France and Italy, the farms of the Pacific Northwest. An expensive meal, but worth it and I'll definitely be back for a third visit as soon as possible. The staff are attentive, considerate, professional, yet somehow also laid back and just....real. It's a Michelin star experience, with the unpretentiousness of Ashland, and it works.
K W — Google review
The name is a problem. It is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to, we were seated in a private room (library). The chef stop by several times to explain the dishes. Oops, I forgot to mention the delicious food. I can still taste the combination of lobster and fois grass.
Joseph Z — Google review
Had dinner here with my wife on one of our first road trips out of Portland. It’s one of those tasting menu spots where you don’t fully know what you’re eating until they explain it to you. But in a cool way. Everything tasted clean and surprising. Expensive, yes, but it felt worth it once.
Lila C — Google review
I love the humbleness, yet layers of complexity within each dish, starting right away with the tea of seaweeds. Particular favorites were the “snacks” and Uku. Seafood and foraged foods forward offerings. I’m blown away what chef Dorcak and his team can do with such a small kitchen. Two induction tops, small convection oven, a sous vide bath, & small outdoor grill. No range, no griddle, no full size oven. Minimal. They are either very talented, or straight magical. The sommelier’s (Joseph) energy and passion was apparent and his crash course on sake was a highlight. This was a meal to be savored and remembered and is right up there for my favorite ever. Worth the trip.
James D — Google review
There aren’t words for how moved I was after eating here. I’ve lived across the US and Japan and have eaten at outstanding restaurants, but this was by far the best food I have ever had. I came here for my birthday and it blew my mind. The seasonal local ingredients, the unique techniques, as well as the really interesting flavor and texture profiles were really out of this world. I also really enjoyed the sake pairings that came with each dish. This is somewhere I will always dream of coming back to.
LLM M — Google review
Josh is an amazing chef, visionary and an embracer of all things local and fresh. So impressed with the dining experience tonight as well as the wine pairing selections. We've eaten at Thomas Keller’s French Laundry and this is a far better experience from the food offerings to intimacy!
Dianne T — Google review
Drop everything and get to Ashland ASAP to dine at MÄS. I am a food inspired traveler, and have spent the past 10 years of my life exploring every corner of the USA and the world for the best dining experiences. I have dined at many 1, 2, and 3 Michelin starred (and many unstarred) restaurants on 5 continents (Australia isn't covered by a Michelin guide), and without a doubt MÄS is one of my all time favorite meals. Washington and Oregon state also are not covered by a Michelin guide, so one begins to wonder, are Michelin stars even relevant? Because MÄS would definitely have some stars if it were possible. Every dish was a perfect bomb of umami (excluding dessert) that left nothing to be desired. Josh has put so much thought and creativity into amplifying and blending all of the multi faceted and intricate flavors and textures (I've never had crunchy seaweed in a soup before!) The Hokkaido scallop made me teary eyed, and it is almost impossible for me to be impressed. Something about the intimacy of a small group at a chef's counter definitely stirs my soul, and I am going to continue to seek out experiences like this. Oh, and, Josh has better taste in wine than anyone I've ever met. I'm already dreaming of the day I get to come back.

French steakhouse restaurant
Chateaubriand 36 is a French steakhouse that offers an amazing and cosmic dining experience. It's the perfect place for celebrating special occasions, with a cozy atmosphere and great mood lighting that can accommodate both small and large parties. The menu features delicious items like French onion soup, fresh salads, bone marrow, and their signature Chateaubriand steak. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, providing helpful suggestions for sauces and wine pairings.
If I could I would give a 6 ⭐ This place surprised me a lot, my husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were delighted with the food and service. If you go there PLEASEEEE try the onion soup 🤌🏻 This outfit led me to the heavens, the Tartare was also delicious, highly recommended! But, ok, I'm here to talk about the steak, it was another level. My husband ordered his raw 🥩 and it come exactly how he loves, normally the restaurant always messes up and he never get it right. It was just right, good job to the team, I can't wait to come back.
Isabela R — Google review
This one was a split decision. Kudos to the menu design. Lots of intriguing options and to have it themed as a French steakhouse injected fresh flavors beyond the usual streak, greens, and potato fare of an American steakhouse. I ordered the beef cheeks. My initial thought as I went in was “these people know what they’re doing.” The meat was so tender and flavorful, and it melded seamlessly with the truffle sauce and cauliflower puree. The broccolini was charred beautifully with just enough crunch. We were off to a strong start! The hanger steak was a different story. A difficult cut of meat to get right. The center was a perfect medium, but the crust was over-charred and giving off bitter, ash-tray tasting vibes. A couple of the center cuts showed the potential of the dish, but as you approached the blackened ends, it wasn’t appetizing. The drink list was exciting and I enjoyed the “Rum with a Vieux,” a sort of rum-based take on an old fashioned. We got a Caesar salad to start, which was mostly made from the dense lettuce hearts and was again, overly bitter. This was an intriguing restaurant to visit. I won’t be rushing back, but given the glimmers of technical mastery, I won’t cross it off my list either. At a lower price-point, this place would have been a 4, but when paying premium you can’t drop the ball on an entire dish.

I had to give the food only 3 stars my steak was perfect and delicious but my husband's first steak was pure tendon fat and grissle and his second steak was cooked incorrectly but he just ate the second one the waitress was so sweet and attentive she saw and apologied and even thanked us for not being upset about it lol. It is a small and intimate setting in the mainfloor of a old home requiring the tables to need to be very small so we were thankful we have both lost weight recently lol
Jessica D — Google review
Absolutely amazing experience to celebrate an anniversary! Food was incredible but the staff were the best part of the evening. Chris was an absolutely amazing server, incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Glenn was the best restaurant manager I have ever met, he was so welcoming and hospitable. My fiance and I cannot wait to come back
Isabel G — Google review
I didn't feel that the food and dining experience matched the menu prices. The restaurant is in the $50-60 steak segment. My strip loin was overcooked by one grade and the presentation was quite basic, served on what I believe to be a melamine plate patterned in a style that was incongruous with the table setting. The side order of glazed carrots was underdone, though the Pomme Puree was very good. While my companion was pleased with the Risotto, it was not enough to save the meal.
James F — Google review
I have been to France! Leon and Paris and this is by far better. You’ll be amazed and angry at yourself for not being here every day it’s that good. Amber is the best. I’ll be going back again and again and again.
Craig E — Google review
My wife and I dined here while visiting Ashland. The atmosphere, appetisers, and wine list were all excellent. Our steaks, however, were both undercooked and served quite nearly cold, and the sides were variably scorched or undercooked. The kitchen here has some issues with precision and speed of service both. To be quite honest, the value proposition here is quite bad for what we got, and I’d avoid this place.
Katherine R — Google review
I don’t even know where to start or how to articulate how I feel after such an amazing, elating, and cosmic experience. My wife and I had the honor and pleasure of having our 10th wedding anniversary dinner at Chateaubriand 36 today. For such a milestone, a celebration of great magnitude is in order which the chef and staff at Chateaubriand 36 far exceeded at doing. It was my wife and I’d first time eating here and over my dead body will it be the last time. Every single item we ordered was nothing short of perfection. I knew butter was good, but the bread and trio butter spread (not pictured) showed me things I couldn’t think of in my wildest dreams. The rest of the dinner was like a journey. Starting with bewilderment, love, and passion but ending with sorrow due to the journey coming to an end. My taste buds have never been assaulted by flavor in such a manner before and it will forever be welcomed. The meats were cooked to their most immaculate and perfect consistency, an extent that is only done by a master of their craft. I’ve never wanted to hug a chef more after a meal but this one gives me the desire and drive to find the father of the chef and shake his hand for raising such a flaunt musician in the kitchen. To the staff of Chateaubriand 36, you welcome my wife and I with a journey of taste that only Tolkien could describe. You made our 10th anniversary memorable (especially with having the whole restaurant to ourselves thanks to the OSF). I look forward to our next experience at Chateaubriand 36 and long for the day I can experience and rejoice this magic again.

Mt. Ashland Ski Area is a seasonal ski and snowboarding resort located in Oregon, offering lessons and equipment rental at its modern lodge. The area also hosts cultural events such as a Native American water blessing ceremony with drum circles and potluck parties. With high elevation, the snow conditions can change rapidly, providing varying experiences from spring corn to ideal powder for skiing or snowboarding. The terrain offers options for all skill levels, from beginners to experts, making it a great destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
I had the pleasure of visiting this ski area two weeks ago, and it was truly a unique and unforgettable experience. Even though it was snowing heavily that day, the atmosphere was incredible. The staff were on top of everything, actively controlling traffic on the slopes and ensuring paths were kept clear despite the heavy snowfall. Their attention to detail really stood out, making the experience feel safe and well-organized. It was quite windy, but that didn’t stop anyone from having a great time. Everyone was in high spirits, and the powdery snow made for some of the best conditions. Despite the wind and snow, the experience was nothing short of enjoyable, and it’s clear that the staff really care about providing a great experience for visitors. If you're looking for a ski area that offers both great service and a unique snow-covered adventure, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Great mountain with tons of character. Definitely on the steeper side, so beginners, this may not be the mountain for you. But that just means more vertical! Lifties are great, even if their backpack policy is kind of weird, if you know you know. Passes and tickets are on the steeper side as well, but it’s a 501c3 corp that owns and runs the ski area. So the prices aren’t really there for profits, just to make sure everyone is safe, and to pay a good wage to all the awesome staff that make this place run. Excited to come here for many years to come!

Excellent area to enjoy a day in the snow. I didn't ski, but I toured the park. They also have a cafeteria and bathrooms inside. I loved it.

This is a great place to go for family time, need to let off some steam by yourself or even on a date!!! The service and staff are always wonderful, very helpful and knowledgeable. They do offer private lessons and classes for skiing or snowboarding, the pricing is very reasonable and worth it. If you are new and want to learn please do not just head out and try to teach yourself on the mountain, inexperienced and untrained riders put themselves and others at risk by doing this take a class and keep the mountain safe for everyone to enjoy!!! My son and I had his first 1 hr private lesson together a few years ago, we bought him gear and lessons for Christmas because he wanted to learn to snowboard. The young man that we were assigned for our lesson was incredible, he was polite, patient, very knowledgeable and a very good teacher. My fiance has been snowboarding his entire life but was surprised to learn a few new tricks and tips from our teacher. They have options for everyone, hills available for people that are novice or experienced, skiing and snowboarding, all are welcome. They do have yearly memberships/ season passes that are a great option if you end up going more than a couple times in a season, plus you help support the resort to ensure we can continue to enjoy it for many years to come. They have a full service lodge that looks out over the bunny hill, it's fun to eat and watch the kids and new riders getting lessons. At the ski shop you can rent all gear needed for either skiing or snowboarding. They have certain items in the shop you can buy in case you forget something at home like gloves, scarf or goggles.. The lodge will host live music and special events all season long, just check the website. Also on the website, don't forget to check out the live camera feed to check conditions, you get a great view from many different points of the mountain, it's also just fun to just watch the people out enjoying the ride!! Thank you to Mt Ashland owners, supporters and staff for the dedication to continuing to providing the community with such a beautiful and enjoyable place!!!

Had a really great native American water blessing ceremony/get together up there on the mountain. Some interesting stories from the Oregon Indian Education crew, a drum circle and then potluck/music/cacao party after. It was an awesome day. Got a little too much sun out playing the flute so be sure to wear sunscreen or a hat if you aren't fully native and are prone to being sunburned - it's high altitude up there. Can't wait to snowboard it next season. Thanks Ashland Mountain staff for hosting us up there - I think the blessing helped subside the drought a bit and definitely helped spread the love and good vibrations.

First time visiting this area as I'm not a skier. I am however a runner and OMG I highly recommend the SOB 15K/50K/100K. The views are gorgeous and it's such a well put together venue. I'd imagine bike riding is awesome here as well. And skiing is probably top notch if you're into that. Overall 20/10 recommend.

The Ashland Welcome Center in Oregon is a delightful oasis for travelers making their way from California to the Pacific Northwest. After a long drive, this rest stop offers much more than just basic facilities; it features an impressive welcome center with multiple buildings, including a children's play area and beautifully decorated spaces. The friendly staff goes above and beyond, providing gift bags for children that cater to different needs, ensuring everyone feels welcomed.
Wonderful place to rest or stop in for some quick info. I was kindly greeted upon entering. They have free coffee, maps, travel information and postcards. Several restroom options which came in handy during cleaning. Stunning views. Pic nic area. We were amazed by this rest area: we had just drove out of CA, where a rest area only has bathrooms and a shed; this first rest area in Oregon has three buildings, and in the welcome center there are children’s play area, grand decorations and furnitures, free coffee; most importantly, two beautiful ladies as staff! They offered our kids two gift bags: one for typical kids to draw and read, the other for kids with special needs, full of fidgets and visuals, and a headphone! The most amazing part is their attitude: I feel so deeply touched when they offer the gift bags, the usual feeling that my kid is noticed by his special being but he is not discriminated but cared!

Wow, just wow. Pulled over, expecting an ordinary rest stop. This was so much more. Super inviting. Friendly staff. An abundance of free maps, travel guides, posters, coffee, stickers etc. Clean, spacious grounds for stretching your legs. Soda machines, clean bathrooms, pet area, and more. Some Cliff Swallows have taken residency on the tower. They're a little messy, but adorable to watch.

I've already visited this place for the 4th time, and when I first visited, the impression was so good that I compared a lot of things with CA, and I ended up moving in Oregon. It's a good place for dogs to rest on the well-planned grass in a very beautiful scenery, a bathroom with heating and hot water, and it's the first time I've been over night here, but commercial trucks are not allowed to enter, so over the night very quietly. Here can stay 12 hours so had to leave earlier that was the reason could not have warm hospitality from welcome center with nice coffee. It's a highly recommended to stop by if you want to feel Oregon heart.

This was a bathroom stop on the drive from northern California to home in the Portland area. What a fantastic facility. Beautiful building with free coffee and lots of information about all areas of Oregon. Cat at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stop here, even if only to use the facilities, grab some coffee and stretch your legs for a bit. Grab a state map and information about places to visit on the state. Nice covered tables outside if you are looking for a roadside picnic spot on the drive.

I stopped in at this excellent rest stop/welcome center on my drive to Eugene from Sacramento after having delays with my flights that meant I would be unable to get to Eugene at all that day - unless I drove or took the train. The train had already left (and took longer), so I just rented a car at the Sacramento airport and drove the 7+ hours and dropped it off at the Eugene airport. I was tired and it was a long and unplanned-for drive, but stopping in at this welcome center rest stop really boosted my spirits! It's in a gorgeous location, the restroom was clean and well-stocked, and the staff are absolutely fantastic, super knowledgeable and friendly (and offered coffee, but I was all coffeed out at that point - reading about the coffee in other reviews I now have regrets - I'll have to go back)! We exchanged stories of Oregon ice cream favorites (they shared Umpqua as a fave - I shared Junction City's Lochmead Farms that can be obtained at the Eugene metro area Dari-Mart stores, and we all agreed that any of the BJ's locations on the Coast was also a must stop when visiting there). They also shared a great hole-in-the-wall gem off I-5, K&R Drive-in https://maps.app.goo.gl/2zvY1faUSM1HfE5s7, to get said Umpqua ice cream generously served; turns out they have good burgers and fries, too! Anywhoo, this stop has all the best people and vibes. What a pleasant surprise!

Popped in here after a potty break at the rest stop (nice & clean!) and were greeted with smiles and easy conversation with friendly staff and a beautifully designed space with an excellent display of materials organized by region! If we didn’t have so much further to drive I could see hanging out for much longer!

Irvine & Roberts Vineyards is a spectacular destination with welcoming staff, breathtaking views, immaculate grounds, impressive wine selection, and delicious food offerings. The bratwurst special and cheeseboard are highly recommended. Visitors become regulars due to the exceptional experience provided by the knowledgeable and engaging staff. Guests enjoy flights of wine, meat and cheese boards, and particularly love the red wines. The owners' kindness and graciousness make visitors feel welcome to stay for hours without feeling rushed.

Super attentive staff! Great staff play such a huge part of the winery experience and Irvine & Robert’s nailed it. The wines are easy to drink, if a tad mainstream. The facility is stunning and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
Rachelle S — Google review
My recent visit to this winery was an absolute blast, largely thanks to their fantastic wine flights and breathtaking location! We had a wonderful time sampling their extensive selection, with 20-30 different flight packages to choose from – a truly impressive variety for any wine lover. Our server was incredibly accommodating and helpful; they even allowed us to swap one of the default wine options for something not on the pre-selected list, which we really appreciated. The views from the winery are truly to die for, especially on a beautiful day. They've done an excellent job with the outdoor seating arrangements, maximizing the stunning scenery and creating a perfect atmosphere for enjoying your wine. We truly had a blast soaking it all in. The only area where our experience could have been better was with the food options, particularly for kids and those seeking vegetarian-friendly choices. We struggled a bit to find suitable and appealing dishes for our little ones, and the vegetarian selection was quite limited. While we thoroughly enjoyed the wine and ambiance, having more diverse and kid-friendly/veg-friendly food options would have made our visit even more perfect. Overall, it's a must-visit for the wine and views, but be prepared to plan your food accordingly if you have specific dietary needs or children.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Irvine & Roberts Vineyards is truly a beautiful spot. The views of the rolling golden hills and vineyards are absolutely breathtaking and make for such a relaxing atmosphere. The patio seating under the shade sails is a perfect place to enjoy a tasting flight while taking in the scenery. Inside, the space is elegant yet comfortable, with a warm, inviting design that matches the quality of the wines. The wines themselves were excellent. We especially enjoyed the 2023 Estate Chardonnay, which had a crisp and refreshing finish, and the food pairings were a lovely addition (the crab cakes were delicious and beautifully presented). The only thing that would have made the visit even better was being seated in a more optimal spot as visitors the views are such an important part of the experience, and having a better seat would have elevated it from wonderful to unforgettable. That said, the staff was welcoming, and the overall experience was delightful. A must-visit if you’re in Southern Oregon wine country and we’d happily return again!

I can't say enough! It's like being in Italy! The staff is beyond wonderful, the wines are delicious and the food/food pairing is out of this world. Our server, Sara, is worth a million bucks. The owner, Doug Irvine, made us feel like best friends. So glad our neighbors told us about Irvine & Roberts!
K W — Google review
The views are great, and the wine was quite good. Food was the best anyone in our group had ordered at a winery in a long time - particularly the crab cakes and the large variety on the cheese board. Wine flights themselves were a bit pricey (especially for Ashland) particularly the $40 bubbly flight with just 3 sparkling. Waived with 3 bottles. Our group of 10 made a reservation months in advance and they did not have us in their books when we arrived, which is the missing star. However they had room for us without waiting on a weekend.
Steven M — Google review
I enjoyed their charcuterie board, the house made seed cracker was delectable. My friends also enjoyed their summer wine flight, I partook in a non alcoholic San Pellegrino pomegranate sparkling (very delicious non alcoholic option). The staff was friendly and attentive and made us feel special and welcomed, great view, easy parking, clean and relaxing.

The moment we walked we were pleasantly greeted with a smile and complimentary glass of Rose. The service was knowledgeable and warm. The crab cakes were fresh and cooked to perfection. The view was magnificent and the wine was Magnificent in the wine was robust and subtle. Great Sunday Funday!

This engaging museum offers a plethora of interactive exhibits that allow families to dive into the fascinating worlds of physics, biology, and technology through hands-on experiences. Many fun activities for all ages. Easy to find and fun things to do. Current have a dino fossil digging area that my son enjoyed for awhile as well as their pacific crest cove play area. Great opportunity for young ones to see other kids and start learning hands on activities.

A nice collection of interactive exhibits for the kids. They were short-staffed for the Thanksgiving break, but the people there were friendly and helpful.

We had our wedding at ScienceWorks and it was the PERFECT VENUE! Our guests (kids AND adults!) had a blast playing with the exhibits and the outdoor area -- with views of Grizzly Peak -- was beautiful for our ceremony and reception. Regina and Kevin were super helpful to make our wedding everything we had imagined! Highly recommend not just as a science museum but as an awesome event space!

Staff is nice, but they got rid of everything fun. Half of everything else is out of order or missing parts. I’d suggest going to the Children’s Museum in Medford instead.

I went today,3/17//23. The facility was well staffed. Staff walked around and spent time conversing with one another. I was not impressed by the lack of cleanliness ( papers all over the floor where the planes are made). I cleaned up the floor area along with my 2 and 6 year old grand child. In the room where the peg board and dominoes are, one can find spider webs on the walls ( see photos and enlarge to see the webs.) and the device outside that demonstrates echos was not fully functional due to garbage and debris inside. Someone could have cleaned it out some way or somehow so that we could have used it. There were a few activities that were not functioning and there were no signs on them...not sure if staff regularly inspect them throughout the day. I don't live in this state but I will be frequenting the place. I'm hoping something gets done about this and puts up signs as to how all of the things are sanitized. No one was able to explain that to this RN.

Great place to shop! Friendly staff! Large selection of clothing at prices that are very affordable! So many new items every week! Best shopping in Ashland!

I love going here. I usually find several items to purchase on each visit. Prices are amazing and you can find name brand clothing and some even with the tags on! Best part is you can take your old clothes there for consignment so when you buy you can use your balance to offset your purchases. Very well organized and the clothing is clean and in good condition. I highly recommend this store.

Well I'm very disappointed in this place. I take shoes in to sell and they can't find a pair of boots that I was picking up. They never sold. The lady that owns it told me well if it's been stolen. We usually don't give money for those but she gave me a little bit of money. They were selling the shoes for $30 and she gave me 12. So sad. We'll i never go back and then on top of that they've only mailed me a check because I already got my other money from my other shoes and they were going to charge me $1.50 because I extended the $10 policy

I would absolutely not recommend to anyone. I came in today during consignment hours. I did try to find out info ahead of time, looking at the Instagram page and calling 3 times (with no answer) and finding no information other than consignment days/hours. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any 'rules' on their Instagram page and they don't have a formal website so I brought all of my items because most consignment shops will sort through and decide what they want. I drove 25 minutes with a small baby to the store, bringing with me 2 baskets of items. A bald older man was working the counter (I believe the owner). After carrying in my items and a small baby, I spoke to him. He was incredibly rude to me, telling me I had way too much stuff. He was incredibly disgusting, rude, and dismissive. I wasted my time, gas, and energy to be treated terribly. Nowhere are the consignment rules posted on the Google page, Instagram page, or their automatic voicemail. I have never heard of a consignment shop having an item limit amount, but fine then maybe make it public. Again, I would like to reiterate that I was never offered any sort of help by the owner despite being a very petite woman holding a baby and two baskets of clothes!!! Not sure how I was supposed to separate "20 items" while holding an infant??? He certainly could have offered to sort and take 20 items from me which is what all major consignment shops do! Instead he was rude and nasty. It's seriously hard enough as is to go anywhere with a small baby, plus gas money, time, and trying to carry baskets of clothes and a baby! I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you like being treated like garbage. Drove down the road to Avant Garb and they were kind and accommodating! A little compassion goes a long way especially as a small business. Do better!!!!

Love, love, love this place! Very unique and well kept clothing. (Including jewelry, handbags, shoes, coats, athletic, and some formalwear. They work so hard and always restocking products. (Shoes are the best!) They also have odds and ends, such as candlesticks, vases, clocks, teapots, and wall hangings. You can't beat the prices!

Park
Nestled in the picturesque town of Ashland, Oregon, Oredson Todd Woods is a delightful nature preserve that invites outdoor lovers and their furry companions to explore its rugged beauty. This enchanting woodland spans over 271 acres and features an impressive network of trails perfect for hiking and biking. As you wander through the lush old-growth forests, you'll encounter meandering creeks, vibrant meadows adorned with wildflowers, and even charming bridges crossing small streams.
Lots of intersecting trails with a few different places to hop on. Trails range in abilities from easy to hard. Beautiful tall trees and well maintained paths! Parking is a little slim in designated areas but there is a lot of street parking available. Dogs allowed on leashes, I read about some option off leash areas as well but didn't run into them.
Courtney B — Google review
Lots of trails that are easy to follow. You can also download AllTrails and follow that way. We had service the whole time. Felt safe; leashed dogs; runners; all friendly.
Andie W — Google review
Great walking and hiking trails right on the edge of town with multiple access points, also connects with greater trail system so could get to down town or all the way to Mt Ashland if one so desired!
Dagr8n8 — Google review
Feel guilty leaving four stars but... Very little parking, more of a neighborhood spot. The trail does link up with the rest of the networks to White Rabbit etc and over to Lithia if you want to make a larger hike/run. Oredson Todd Woods is a smaller area you can make a few loops in, there are lots of little bridges over a small creek and there is a small waterfall feature. The trails are not really marked, it feels kind of intrusive for the neighborhood, the infrastructure does not exist for this to be a popular area. I hear dogs (and their owners) can be a problem here but that was not my experience today. The signage can be confusing as to where the trail starts. There is a path right off the parking area that looks like it cuts across private property but just stay on the trail and you will be fine. You can also walk up the paved road to the left and find an entrance trail on the right.
Carl O — Google review
A great place to hike, trail run and take your dogs. Small creeks run through the lower sections that are great for kids and dogs. The upper sections get steep and are more exposed, but still plenty of shade. A lot of good trails allows you to hike a mile or up to 10!

It made my day when my dog Baxter and I were out looking for a little adventure and stumbled upon this place. It's beautiful, dog friendly, and close to town. If you're looking for a quick little serene getaway to decompress for a few this is the spot. Will see be coming back here!

Lovely park and trails in Ashland. Some limited parking. Somewhat steep trails. Nice bored.
Ron H — Google review
This is a great series of trails to run/hike. These trails offer thick foliage and a mountain stream that combined, give a feeling of suddenly being surrounded by nature. This is a popular site, so mornings are better for running. Even though popular, everyone has been very friendly and polite about making room on the trail to pass during my later runs. :-)

Fast food restaurant
Wendy's is a fast-food burger chain that offers various side dishes like chili and baked potatoes. It is the sole alternative in town, but the staff members are consistently friendly and efficient. The food quality remains generally good, with fresh items served most of the time. However, occasionally if one visits too close to closing hours, they may encounter overcooked burger patties. Nevertheless, around 90% of the time, Wendy's provides a great dining experience.
Hurt my back and wrist slipping on their work floor in the lobby (hall to bathrooms). Now injured & on bed rest. Cannot work nor support my family at this time because of this. I hope someone will call me to talk about it from Wendy’s…. I need help. :(

There is no customer service skills put to use here at all. To be the only person in line and have it take 5mintues just to get acknowledge. Then after ordering it took an additional 25 minutes for our food to come out which was just 2 burgers and a fry. Burgers we're messy and I was unable to eat mine due to the bun being so soggy. Will not recommend this Wendy's to anyone. Yes, I understand its fast food but come on now.
Robert S — Google review
This Wendy's was the absolute worst I've ever been to. The buns were hard, they got my order wrong. Charged for large got regular. I would never go there again. We were visiting my sister and wanted something fast before going to the hotel, my husband and I both woke up the next morning with sour stomachs.
Roxie P — Google review
Had to leave a review because of the extent of how nasty this place is. The service was gross, the cleanliness was non existent, the drinks tasted watered down, the food tasted stale. The teenage boy behind the counter dropped my friend's wrapped burger on the floor and just picked it up and handed it to him after a minute. He also didn't give us drink cups after we ordered, we had to ask for them when the food was ready. There was a puddle that was covering the entire counter next to the drink machine. Flies everywhere. So annoying trying to eat with that many flies. My friend said the bun was stale and dry. I didn't get a bun so mine was fine. We were on a road trip and didn't even try to use the bathrooms because of how gross everything was. We went to the gas station instead.

I haven’t been to this location once where I wasn’t asked to “please hold” at the drive thru order spot for several minutes just to end up telling them I placed an order online. THEN, it takes forever to get your food and there is absolutely no cell phone coverage in this parking lot, so you have to sit there and think about the terrible choices you have made in life thus far leading you to this Wendy’s. Also any time I’ve ordered chicken they make you pull out of the line and wait.

Ordered a Nugget meal deal and a bacon jr cheese burger. What of the order that was there was disgusting, cold and looked like it had been made hours ago and the one thing that was supposed to be cold was missing, the frosty. I won't order from Wendy's again. A complete waste of money.

Nestled on a secluded five-acre farmstead estate just two miles south of downtown Ashland, Country Willows Inn & Estate offers a tranquil retreat with country-chic rooms and a range of amenities. The property features a pool, hiking trails, and is conveniently located near popular attractions such as the White Rabbit Trail and Oredson-Todd Woods. Guests can enjoy luxurious touches like heated tile floors in the spotless bathrooms, while the comfortable beds ensure a peaceful night's sleep.
We had a wonderful time here at Country Willows. We loved the rooms as they were super clean, spacious, and the amenities were the best we have ever had. I loved being able to feed the ducks too. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed the short hike we took too. The food was also excellent and I couldn't even finish all of it. We loved the large windows while we ate so we could look outside. I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. We plan on returning the next year for our anniversary. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was a welcome respite during my holiday travels. I stayed in their Sunrise Suite, perfect for my limited mobility as there were only 2 steps to the door. Room was gorgeous. Small kitchenette with micro, refrigerator, little sink, coffee & hot kettle and the necessary plate/silverware for in room snacking. Large room, heating bathroom floors a old fashioned deep soaking tub & fabulous tiled large shower area. The room also included a large private deck with seating & a fireplace. The location was beautiful & the grounds well maintained with scenery straight out of a travel catalog. Breakfast was in a separate building, with a lift for mobility challenged. Deck or inside seating with your choice of 830/930a dining times. Breakfasts were well presented, delicious & served with a smile! Great way to wake up. I highly recommend staying at Country Willows Inn Ashland. I look forward to returning.

Enjoyed our first time stay here in November as part of their veterans day month long BOGO special. The grounds are so beautiful with plenty of wildlife and well tended plants. There are trails for hiking, a fire pit to gather around, and an outdoor pool to play in when it's warmer. The rooms are gorgeous with every item, from the bed to the toilet paper, of the utmost in comfort. Upon check in, fresh baked cookies and fluted peach sun tea awaited us in the main house. The extremely helpful and kind innkeeper gave us a tour of the grounds and answered any questions. Entering our room a toasty fireplace was providing ample warmth and a couple of chocolates awaited us. Breakfast was held in the upstairs breakfast area that had windows all around providing a lovely view of the grounds. The food was fresh, well made, and beautifully served. The location is just on the edge of town to provide a quiet place while being close to everything. We definitely look forward to staying here again!

I had the honor of officiating a ceremony at this beautiful property, and it was truly magical. After spending a night at a little retreat in the country, an idyllic getaway that was in reality a horrific experience, we found Country Willows Inn. How absolutely wonderful it was and made us completely forget the atrocious previous night at the other place. We were allowed to check in early because the room was clean. When we entered, it took our breath away. It was beautiful. The room, the expansive deck with electric awning, the sunken tub and heated floors and the bed and fireplace was heavenly. The grounds were just as inviting. They were landscaped in such a way that I was able to enjoy most of it with my walker. My wife enjoyed the pool and we both enjoyed the gazebo and firepit. The complimentary breakfast was exquisite. There was a lift that enabled me to enter. It's a great place for handicapped people. The staff was wonderful and inviting. We couldn't have asked for more. We have found our get away that we will retreat to time and again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Country Willow, and it was an enchanting experience. The bed and breakfast boasts an artistic beauty reminiscent of a serene European countryside painting, with its breathtaking natural surroundings. The pool, nestled beside a cascading waterfall, adds a touch of luxury and tranquility to the stay. The garden area is equally captivating, providing a peaceful retreat. Dining at Country Willow is a highlight, offering a stunning view of the rolling hills and lush trees, with the added charm of a family of deer occasionally passing by. This place is a perfect blend of natural beauty and elegance, making it a memorable getaway.

Restaurant
Morning Glory Cafe is a beloved breakfast and lunch spot located in a renovated 1929 house, offering a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The menu features delectable dishes like Alaskan red crab omelette, bacon Belgian waffle with lemon butter, and grilled tomato on rustic sourdough bread.
Best breakfast in town. Small, quaint local business with unique menu items. Best Huevos Rancheros around packed with flavor. You can pair with a bloody Mary, mimosa or other libations. They have crepes, stuffed French toast and many other menu choices. There's a wait on weekends and they're only open Th-M until 1.
Linda B — Google review
2 stars for the food, the Lemon Ricotta French toast and Sourdough pancakes were pretty good. However we won't be returning, and I'll explain why. After we first got seated after about a 20 minute wait (and there's also no parking anywhere aside from 6 spots) we took 2 available spots at the bar. Shortly after we sat down, one of the workers (I'm not sure if this was one of the owners, but he was working the floor and the register) walked by me, grabbed my hot tea that I brought in, without saying a word, and chucked it in the garbage. At this point, I wasn't sure if it was an accident, or intentional, but I said "excuse me, that was my drink". When I finally got his attention, he looked over and was like "oh, well we don't allow any outside drinks". Which is understandable, but it's extremely rude to grab anything that belongs to a customer without saying anything. Also, there's no signage anywhere saying this. He could have easily said "Hey we don't allow any outside beverages" which would have been fine and I would have taken it back to the car. Anyway, I proceed to ask him to grab my drink back out because he was like "Oh you still want it?" Like bro, this drink was still full. Anyhow there was no apology, which makes me think he either did it intentionally or absentmindedly and didn't want to admit any fault. This should be customer service 101, you don't grab anything from a customer without asking. So for this reason alone, we won't be returning and in all honesty, we probably should have walked out of the restaurant. But we had already waited 20 minutes and didn't want to bother finding another place. But the staff could use a lesson in treating customers better.
Valerie R — Google review
This restaurant was highly recommended to us and we are glad we listened. Sure, it's busy on a Sunday morning. It's also one of the best breakfast spots we've ever been to! The blueberry cheesecake stuffed French toast was awesome! Check this place out. You'll be glad you did.

Nice place to have a sit down breakfast, but if you don’t get there early, expect to wait for a table. They do have an outdoor patio where you can also enjoy your breakfast. We found the food good but pricey , so isn’t a place you could go to often

The food was absolutely delicious, and even though the place was packed, the staff handled the rush effortlessly—making sure everyone was served promptly and with care. Only small issue was the AC blowing directly onto me as I sat at the bar.

I love this place. We got there just as they opened on a busy Saturday. Italian restaurant
Nestled in a charming converted house, Cucina Biazzi offers an intimate dining experience that transports you straight to Italy. This delightful restaurant features a lovely patio adorned with wisteria, perfect for enjoying the fresh air while savoring generous portions of authentic Italian cuisine. The menu is customizable, allowing guests to tailor their meals to their preferences.
My husband and I always eat at Cucina Biazzi when we pass through Ashland! This was our 8th time and the restaurant remains amazing! Our server was very attentive, every dish superb, and the wine was the icing on the top! Our favorite dish of all has always been the Lobster Ravioli, if you eat only one thing that should be it, it’s too die for!
V. B — Google review
We had dinner reservations at 5:30pm. It was our wedding anniversary. We ordered the 4 course service and paid an up charge for the lobster ravioli. We also paid for the special which was a fish stew... where the fish was dried out. I inquired about their port wines and expressed interest in dessert. When we pulled up, there were 2 tables before us...one outside and one inside. Before we got our entrees, 2 other tables had their entrees before us. They too had ordered the 4 course meals. Our server had barely paid attention to us. Our food was just simply dropped off. Maximum tables in the entire place was 7-8 tables from 5:30-7:00pm. They had 2 servers and couldn't deal with it. I heard the other server offer an extra plate for the shells and tails for their customer that ordered the same thing as my husband. Our server never did that. There was a huge lag in between the courses. We were not the servers priority. The service sucked. I want to also put it out there, that I have had a decade of food service experience. I was horrified with the lack of attention and level of service that was provided. The Winchester House (Alchemy) has exceptional service, the Arbor House is awesome and Rivers Edge in Grants Pass is great too. Do not waste your time on this place. Rebekah needs some training on how to work her station. Rebekah needs to focus on all of her tables. We were super disappointed.

Wonderful trout special, very unusual mushrooms in the antipasto, "vanilla" ice cream extraordinary. Excellent service. Long established tradition for great food. Everything is good to great.
Samuel S — Google review
Excellent food, but I agree with one of the reviews that the food lacks salt and there was no salt at the table (we would expect a gray or Maldon salt because of the price of the dishes). The salad and capellini are split dishes. We ate on the patio which was nice but hot. No refills offered on the lemonade and iced tea. So, including service and lack of salt, my wife and I agreed that this was not a 5-star experience but should have been.

When my Lady said she wanted to see the Redwoods and Oregon Coast, I had only one requirement for my experience. Cucina Biazzi has been in Ashland, OR for as long as I remember, and I hoped it was still there. I remembered many meals enjoyed both inside and under the wisteria-covered patio. What I remembered most about the always amazing food was the Tre Formaggi Ravioli con Lobster, jumbo 3-cheese raviolis, with large chunks of sauteed lobster in a very special Lemon Cream Sauce. I have searched for it every place I have been since I left Ashland in 1999, but I have yet to find its equal. When we arrived, I began to fear that the dish may not be as good as my memories of it, that perhaps I had built it up over time into some mythical experience which no meal could live up to. I needn't have been concerned. When our server brought it to the table, I went into sensory overload just from the aroma, yet I was almost afraid to taste it. My first bite brought tears to my eyes. It was even BETTER than I remembered. The second bite brought even more tears of joy, and by the end of the first ravioli, I didn't know if I was going to be able to get through the rest of the dish, much less the rest of the meal. Yes, it was that good! I appreciate the staff for making us feel more than welcome, and for knowing when to stand back when a grown man is weeping in extasy over his meal. I can not recommend Cucina Biazzi highly enough. The setting is beautiful, the service is 5-star, and the food has been some of the best I have had in my life, anywhere. Squisito!

Wow! This was an amazing meal! The place is small, but absolutely adorable and intimate, really feels of a classic Italian dinner experience. The food was outstanding, also a good wine list. Only complaint was the service was not great, but really didn't matter because the food was so good.

Wow! A real Italian restaurant with amazing service atmosphere and a huge meal for the price!! Plus it’s romantic! All of the food was exquisitely prepared and dark fresh. The waitress was friendly accommodating and took excellent care of us! We are coming back and bringing friends!

Blue Heron Park is a fantastic little park with ample parking and a safe distance from busy roads, making it ideal for families with kids and pets. The playground is loved by children, featuring a sizable play structure with slides, a net climber, and an impressive spinning merry-go-round that's safely sunk to ground level. Other amenities include swings, a swing line resembling a zip line, and even ADA modifications for children with disabilities.
Beautiful park. Very well built. Love it! And the Bear Creak Greenway leads right to it as well.

The playground remodel was great. The kids loved it and we quickly realized it had been two hours after what felt like only 30 minutes. Lots of swings and activities, open park, and a variety of activities

This is a great spot. They have just rebuilt the entire playground with foam mats as a play surface, I love this. It's a great playground for the little ones. There are clean bathrooms and plenty of room to play. They have 2 picnic shelters that can be reserved through the Phoenix parks department, who are very friendly and accommodating. It is fun to look at the community gardens located just west of the playground. Still a great spot+ Phoenix parks dept does a great job! Thanks!

Fun park to take kids. We were passing by and decided to stop. Only wish the playground had shade. A lot of great Sensory toys and areas to play. Love that the swing you're able to get on with your child.

Great little park. Good parking. Safe distance from busy roads for kids/pets My 7 yr. Old grandson loves the playground, which includes a pretty large play structure with slides, there is also a net climber, an awesome spinning merry go round that is sunk to ground level for safety, swings, a swing line (like a zip line) and more. Some ADA modifications for kids with disabilities too. The area also has great walking trails and we see lots of pet owners stopping by for dog walking.

Paschal Winery and Vineyard is a hilltop estate that offers stunning views of the area. Visitors can enjoy tastings of their own-label wines, along with cheese plates and desserts. The vineyard is known for its rich and layered reds such as Tempranillo, Cabernets, and Pinot noirs, which are perfect for both standalone enjoyment and pairing with food.
Yaharia and Sienna helped create an absolutely magical experience at the vineyard for one of the most special days of my wife’s best friend’s life. The venue itself felt like a literal paradise—serene, breathtaking, and immaculate. What stood out most was the rockstar staff, specifically Yaharia and Sienna! This duo worked tirelessly throughout the day, never missing a beat, yet always carrying themselves with grace and professionalism, like true experts. They were constantly busy, but you wouldn’t know it from the warmth and attentiveness they brought to every member of our friends and family. Their efforts allowed us all to truly be present and enjoy the day. Loved ones agreed it was a true privilege to have Yaharia and Sienna help facilitate one of the most important days in our loved one’s life. I can't thank them enough or recommend this beautiful venue more highly.

Gorgeous venue! There is Seating on the firstfloor, second floor including balcony and lots open air near the pond with swans! They have in-house food As well as a food truck for the event. We ordered the bread with balsamic and oil as well as the chicken skewers with sweet chili sauce. Both were excellent and served beautifully.

Beautiful Vinyard! The wine is delicious! The food is delicious! We had vegetarian domas with tzatziki. Indoor and outdoor seating, there was a lovely pond with swans! Wine is about 12$ per glass and 36$-45$ per bottle. We had the divine which is a cross between gris and chardonnay! It truly was divine! I must go back and taste ALL their wine!

We stayed at one of the "glamping" trailers last year, and had just a fantastic time! Extraordinary setting, and the RV itself was fitted out to be elegant and comfortable, with a large living room area, a comfortable bed, and even an outdoor hot tub with fairy lights. Lots of privacy and quiet. The property is stunningly beautiful, and the wines interesting. I recommend a wine tasting on the terrace, overlooking the pond.

Ashland Creek Park

Park
Ashland Creek Park is a 7-acre park offering a range of family-friendly activities. It features a community garden, playground, multi-use field, and walking path along the creek. The park provides opportunities for outdoor enjoyment and learning experiences at nearby museums. Visitors can also indulge in nature's bounty with sweet blackberries along the creek. However, it's advisable to be cautious of thorny plants in certain areas of the park. The playground lacks shade but there are shaded picnic areas nearby.
This park has a playground, very large community garden, and a lot of green space. It’s close to the creek, but I haven’t seen a spot where it’s easily accessible. The playground doesn’t have much for shade, but there is a shaded picnic area right next to it. There are also bathrooms, which have been pretty clean when we’ve visited.

There was a group of transients getting high at the entrance of this park. I had my kids with me.... They didn't even try to hide it. They just blew it all in the pathway we were walking down. Around 10 or more people just sitting there getting high in front of a playground specifically made for children and families to enjoy.... Have some decency people! I don't care what they do as long as my children don't have to walk through smoke to play. And the fact that they were obviously comfortable with doing this leads me to believe that this is a regular thing now. It's a shame because this was a nice little park once.
Rebecca G — Google review
Lovely is the word I'd use. Very serene great place for dogs and children. A play structure for the children and a creek to explore for everyone. There's also a large communal garden i believe, that I know nothing about.
Jonathan P — Google review
The blackberries along the creek are the size of quarters and oh so sweet. Nature is amazing. If you have a dog with short legs, say 6 inches or less, pick them up or don't bring em down by the creek. There are soooooo many giant goat heads with thorns like daggers in the "back forty". Some as long as 1/2 inch! The community garden is amazing and I like to see the changes as the plants grow. There must be something in the water....
Jennifer C — Google review
Great Park, it is beautiful right next to the creek with a community garden on the other side of it wonderful playground large Fields great for walking or jogging around only problem is a lot of people that live in the area bring the dogs to the park and let them off leash and it gets blamed on the homeless

The Schneider Museum of Art, located on the campus of Southern Oregon University, offers a captivating experience showcasing contemporary and student art exhibitions. This modern museum is an integral part of Ashland's cultural landscape, providing a platform for emerging and established artists to display their innovative visions. Visitors can immerse themselves in a rich artistic environment and explore works by American and international artists. The museum also houses a permanent collection primarily focused on 20th-century art.
Great creatives here. Love the art there is here. Loads of creative minds here.

It's a decent free activity, especially as a refuge on a warm day. But it's a lot smaller/shorter than expected. It only has three rooms and we got through it in probably 15 minutes. The current exhibit wasn't all that fascinating; we enjoyed the pieces in the lobby much more.
Sianna O — Google review
Really friendly student volunteers at this small but excellent student gallery. It was surprising that a small student gallery would also have famous works alongside student contributions. They had an original Keith Haring piece. Hard to find if you aren't a Southern Oregon University student, but it's definitely worth a gander. Also, it's free, but I encourage donating.

And the women that run the joint are top notch in every customer service category. Each having a specific specialty to offer. This place is unlike any other consignment market or craft fair. Belle Fiore Winery is an opulent estate with a European ambiance located just a 15-minute drive from downtown Ashland. The winery features an elegant French chateau-style tasting room adorned with pietra dura designs and offers tours, wine tastings, and hosts weddings and art exhibits. Situated on a 31-acre vineyard in the Rogue Valley AVA, Belle Fiore produces award-winning wines from 17 Italian, French, and Spanish grape varieties.

This place is majestic to say the least. From the long paved entrance, to the stately front parking area, to the many, many enchanting places to dine. This winery had it all. Delicious food (great portions) stunning views, great wine, and the most friendly staff. We visited tonight for our 16 year anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you to the staff who found us downstairs and escorted us to the outdoor patio, and our sweet and attentive waitress. Our experience was wonderful.

This was a delightful experience. Michael in the tasting room was knowledgeable, entertaining, and professional. He shared the history or the vineyard, wines and brought the wines to life. It was the special touches that elevated the experience. The wine was delightful. The second floor has a beautiful view. The charcuterie board was enough for the 5 of us to snack while we drank. The focaccia was warm, just the right amount of salt and flavorful. Great way to spend an afternoon or if you only have time for one winery this is it. It was a recommendation from a local.

Found it on a road trip with my sister and decided to follow the fwy sign to check it out! Service was impeccable from each staff member. The food was amazing and presentation was stunning! The added bonus was the live music! The band played amazing jazz selections and were so friendly. Don’t visit the PNW without making the trip here! The grounds and winery are breathtaking.

Excellent and large selection of delicious varietal wines and the chef creates amazing dishes! Our server Kristan was so knowledgeable, personal and very professional. We are so impressed with the property, food and wines, we joined the wine club.
Melisa K — Google review
The wine was excellent and the outdoor seating was beautiful, but the experience was overshadowed by the overwhelming number of flies from the nearby cattle. A large fly ended up in my wine glass (which the waiter replaced), and several landed on my pasta, making it inedible. When I declined to take leftovers, the waiter casually said, “If you just microwave the leftovers it should kill all the bad stuff.” That response felt dismissive and unprofessional. I brought up the issue again while closing my tab, but was only told, “Yeah, it’s from the cattle.” For the price of the pasta—which was only okay to begin with—it would have been fair to receive a refund or at least a partial credit since I barely got to eat it. Outside of the flies and mediocre service, the setting and wine were great. Unfortunately, the poor handling of the situation left me disappointed and unlikely to return.

Omar's Fresh Seafood and Steaks is a classic steakhouse and cocktail lounge that has been serving a variety of dishes including beef, seafood, and burgers since 1946. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff who make diners feel welcome and appreciated. Customers have praised the delicious escargot in mushrooms as well as the fresh oysters, although they may not always be served on the half shell.
I had a great experience at Omar's . I was stopping by 2 get some food after work. I entered it with escargot and seafood excellent I could not ask for better. Ryan the bartender was courteous and helpful in selecting my items. I had stopped in a few days earlier for the $10 lunch what a deal. Ryan waited on us at that point to he was gracious and knew his stuff who arrived quickly and we were excellently satisfied.

First time dining here, we enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of historic photos, which I really enjoyed. Fresh flowers in old glass vases on every table. Seated quickly, server was a sweet girl. We tried the special of New York strip, garlic mashed, grilled asparagus in balsamic glaze, and panko breaded soft shell crab. $45 per plate. I was really happy with the steak, it was cooked and seasoned really well. I liked the asparagus, it was not mushy but firm. The potatoes were plated beautifully as well. Husband had an oyster shooter that he said was great. Husband did not like the crab, there was a slight mush in the middle. I didn’t know how to eat it, 😂 but overall a good experience and somewhere I’d go again. Ashland also has an additional food tax even though it’s Oregon so you will find that at any restaurant you eat at there, and they do charge a card use rate of I think 3%. Only gave 3 stars for the food because of the crab, the rest was good. Thanks!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Omar’s in Ashland is pure gold. Sat at the bar with a bartender who was warm, funny, and poured a martini that was absolute perfection — kept the whole bar buzzing while still making me feel like a VIP. Bomb!! The onion rings were golden, crispy nuggets of joy — smothered in ranch, beer-battered to perfection, the kind of flavor you only get from years of practice. Big, bold, and downright unforgettable. I’d drive up from San Francisco just for another basket.

Got here (first timers) at 4:30 pm, ahead of the Raiders vs Warriors game and took advantage of happy hour. Got invited to sit at a table even though only the bar was open. Ordered up off the specials menu— the calamari, some chowder and a set of pork bbq sliders, complimented by an Arnold Palmer for the driver and a couple of John Dalys (add vodka). Finished off with one-each of the desserts—blueberry cobbler, a crème brûlée and an ice cream sundae. Completely not sorry. Everything was truly amazing, made fresh in-house (except the ice cream). Freshly breaded seafood, freshly fired sugar cap on the crème brûlée. Just amazing. If the volleyball didn’t bring me the Ashland, Omar’s would!! We’ll certainly be back!

This IS THE PLACE first eating dinner or lunch or whenever they're open. We had dinner and it was very very good! Oyster shooters, clam chowder, steamed clams, to start accompanied with plenty of fresh hot bread, then our mains were the Halibut, perfectly prepared with a beautiful seasoning just a touch of crust but the meat was flaky and melt in your mouth delicious, the fish and chips are the best I've had since Scotland, and finally and perhaps incongruously a chicken fried steak! It was the best I've had. Period. Sorry Texas. While the mains were enough the sides were also excellent, from my potato wedges that had a nice crunchy seasoned exterior and a lovely soft center to the real whipped potatoes seasoned with a bit of chives and butter these were amazing by themselves. Then when we're all done begging for mercy they mention their creme broule and it won the night. Hard crust creamy not too sweet smooth deliciousness. All this amazing food plus 6 adult beverages (they have a full bar) was under $200!!! Blew my mind. This is not cheap food, this is excellent food prepared excellently at a bargain price. If I lived within a 100 miles I'd be here once a week. Finally the people are the friendliest most warm and helpful group I've been around since the 80s. Proactive service! Remember those days. These people haven't ever forgotten. In businesses since 1946!!! Just a real treasure! Treat yourself and visit. Tip your waitstaff the amount you know you should have paid for this great experience!

This is a total hidden gem. The restaurant looks humble from the outside and bar, but the interior dining room has an old-fashioned, intimate atmosphere. Everything about every dish my family ate was impressive and satisfying. My NY steak was excellently seasoned and cooked perfectly medium rare. The Oregon Snapper fish and chips my mother ate were outstanding. Especially the "chips," which were these tender potato wedges with a outside crisp I've never seen before. And our server was professional, personable, and relaxing. Overall, for me and my family, it was perfect in every aspect.

Our group of four dined here recently after a weekend at the Shakespeare Festival. Our service was excellent; I particular enjoyed the chicken fried steak. The breaded coating was actually moist, instead of the usual rock- hard crust one usually gets with this item in most places Bits of bacon in the breading were an added bonus. We shared a sundae for dessert, just like nearly every other group that was there (6 groups). It was definitely worth eating there, and I would definitely make an effort to eat there every time I'm in town.

The Market of Choice Ashland is a grocery store that offers a diverse range of food items, including standard groceries as well as sandwiches and prepared meals. This establishment also stands out for its on-site kitchens where customers can enjoy Middle Eastern delicacies. Sam, with his extensive culinary experience spanning various locations, has contributed to the development of an array of Middle Eastern dishes at this store.
Great selection and lots of high quality groceries. The staff is friendly and helpful too. Love that there is always a cahier to check me out instead of having to use self checkout. Some prices on some items can be high though, but I'm sure that's the only way it makes sense financially for the greater quality compared to other stores.

Delicious food and deli options ready to go. Love their rotisserie chickens! The best in Ashland. Beautiful veggies and fruit. Everything you need to make fabulous meals.

A "mini", more intimate, Whole Foods style store packed with tasty, ready to eat, choices. Awesome salad bar, cheese kiosk and even decent sushi. Keep up the good quality, please.

Beautiful store, excellent range of products, wonderful fresh produce, incredibly delicious hot food bar, deli case and pastry. Employees are also super friendly and helpful! It has a reputation of being expensive, but since I moved to Ashland a few months ago and have been trying all the major stores in town, Albertson's, Shop'n Kart, Safeway and Market of Choice, I have found, outside of specialty items which the other stores don't carry anyway, their prices are very reasonable and they have great specials! I was in today and was mad to see that the Ritz crackers, Wheat Thins, brown rice and Spindrift sparkling water were significantly cheaper than what I paid the day before when I purchased them at the Shop'n Kart, which is supposed to be a discount store (plus their employees are rude). I'm not shopping anywhere else from now on!!!

We just love their fresh deli counter. There are so many other things we just love about this store. It is so unique and different.

I have a tick borne disease called Alpha Gal Syndrome and can’t eat any mammal. Thankfully, they carry Diestel organic fresh ground turkey and Diestel organic frozen turkey burgers both not containing carrageenan or rosemary extract which I react to because of AGS. Please don’t stop carrying these because I would have to literally move. While Whole Foods carries a wider selection of things I can eat, I’m grateful that this store has these products listed above because no other store does.

We came here for their deli’s chicken tenders three times during our Ashland vacation because they were so good! Like always, great vibes at this market of choice location.

Southeast Asian restaurant
Tot Restaurant is a modern counter-serve eatery that offers a fusion of Southeast Asian BBQ, Vietnamese sandwiches, and Thai curries. It prides itself on serving up authentic Southeast Asian cuisine made from scratch using local ingredients. The restaurant provides a casual dining experience with great options for takeout. Customers can expect generous portions suitable for sharing family-style, reflecting the traditional way of enjoying Thai food.
First time eating here, will definitely have to go back. Ended up getting the green curry, the picture doesn't to the portion justice because that bowl is deep! There was plenty of beef under the veggies also. Looking forward to some soup next time I go!

Food was good, overpriced but good. It felt like a fast food restaurant than an actual restaurant. If you haven't been here before help yourself to water in the water basin...also make sure you put your food and plates away under the water fountain before you leave. None of this was explained to us when we mentioned this was our first visit here. We watched and learned!

Unassuming, modest restaurant with Great Food! We ordered BBQ Pork, Braised Chicken and Noodles, Grilled Prawn Coconut Crepe and Mushroom Coconut Crepe. It was ALL good! Tots and spring rolls to start were also good but not as stunning as the mains. Desert was funky and delicious - we shared a hazelnut crepe and tapioca spring roll. We will definitely return.

I go to Tot every week for lunch to enjoy the unique flavor and take on some traditional Asian dishes. My personal favorites are the Spicy Tofu or Veggie Pho w/ fish sauce. I'm not vegetarian, but I find the meat distracts from the vibrant flavors. While the prices are a bit steeper than I would like to pay for lunch, I'm addicted enough to keep paying it. I would probably go twice a week if there was a punch card.

This place is amazing! I'm not sure why so many reviewers had bad experiences but I've been here countless times and always get top notch customer service and the most delicious, consistent food. Very helpful for people with allergies! I love the beef and broccoli and my wife loves the curry and coconut crepes! And of course the Pho is amazing!

We went one night looking for a noodle house and upon recommendations and reviews came here. We were quite disappointed with the food we got here. We got food to go and while the service was prompt the food was over priced and not as good as the hype. I ordered a ban mi sandwich and the meat was cold and dry and the sandwich was just mediocre. I got a pork bun as well and thought it was going to be a large one for 5 bucks but it was this tiny little slider type thing. I would have expected the tiny thing to be a dollar or 2 at most. Very misleading. My wife also got a noodle dish and was incredibly underwhelmed with the flavor. The "tots" were bland and were definitely not worthy of the hype. If you're going to name your place after your signature item tots youd expect them to be good...they were not.

A fantastic authentic Thai Restaurant! They have the best Thai Beef Curry I've had outside of Thailand! I love their portions too! One dish is good for two people with an appetizer. Family style is how Thai food is meant to be eaten; ordering several dishes to share around the table. You won't be disappointed. I love spicy food, so I am not the best person to gauge how spicy their food can be, but my friends who are completely adverse to spicy food say their food is spicy, but for me, it's perfect!

Pacific Northwest restaurant (US)
Nestled in the vibrant Railroad District, Peerless Restaurant & Bar is a hidden gem that beautifully marries upscale New American cuisine with eclectic influences. This former warehouse boasts a stunning garden patio, perfect for enjoying everything from refreshing cocktails to seasonal dishes. The menu showcases an array of flavors, featuring highlights like Ahi Poke and spicy lamb noodles that reflect Asian and Middle Eastern inspirations. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, especially during winter when guests can warm up by the fireplace.
One of the best restaurants in Ashland hands down! The food was out of this world and had the most wonderful cozy atmosphere. We had the Duck Dumplings and Shrimp Fitters to start, which were divine. The chefs talent and creativity really showed in each dish. My table got the Seafood of the Day, Pork Cheeks, and the Duck Confit for our entrees. Each of us were blown away! We all commented that it’s one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Needless to say we will be back.

Easy online reservation via the restaurant website. Appetizers: 1) Sourdough and honey butter rope with sea salt and parsley 2) Carpaccio Soup and salad: 1) onion soup 2) lobster and fennel salad Entree: 1) market fish-flaky, white halibut atop asparagus risotto 2) duck breast with roasted root vegetables Service: attentive! Originally sat outside on a crisp spring evening with outdoor heater. After the sun went down, it became too cold and we (and, several other table guests) all moved indoors with ease. While the onion soup was topped off nicely, it didn’t resemble a typical French onion soup with a deep beef and wine base. Instead, it reminded me of a chicken pozole but without the chicken and chickpea. It was ok. Our favorite was the lobster and fennel salad by far! Accompanied by a generous slice of sourdough finished with creamy butter, the real treat was the honey drizzled butter. The entrees were very good and we’d recommend. I may return for the ribeye.

What a fun place for happy hour, especially when the weather is nice outside and the garden is available. We recently enjoyed happy hour in the garden of Peerless. The garden is large enough for quite a few people, quite, beautifully landscaped and shaded during the warm summer months. The service was excellent and the food was delicious, especially the hamburger. It's a shame that the happy hour is only one hour. Definitely take advantage of the happy hour out back in the beautiful garden and enjoy some delicious food and great drinks.

I’ve been here more than once. The food is always very good and occasionally brilliant. Portion sizes are reasonable but not large if you’re a big eater. (Given the price point) Bartender is sharp and there are good wines by the glass. Atmosphere is pleasant and homey and not crowded. Conversation is easy even with other diners.
Climber T — Google review
One of my favorite restaurants to come to in Ashland. The outdoor garden is a beautiful place to dine on a warm summer evening. Take a moment to admire the large apple tree in the back.

They always take good care of us! We started with great cocktails: I had the Well-oiled Machinist, a duck fat washed Buffalo Trace bourbon with campari! Ooh la la! My wife had their G&T with a house made rosemary-forward tonic that was to die for. For starters my wife had amazing crisped potato dumplings with zucchini and vadouvan curry, covered in diced tomatoes and chives. (Pictured below) I had the perfect beef carpaccio. For dinner we had the Katsu Pork Confit Crepinette, a rich and decadent creatively twice cooked pork, loosely ground, and fried crispy; and the also rich and wonderful seared duck breast where roasted root veggies played with bright fresh orange. We loved everything.

My wife and I have been coming here for years, but this last visit compelled me to write this review. First off the food and vibe are usually amazing. I’ve always felt you could never go wrong eating here, honestly. But the 3 star review is for a couple things from my latest visit. First, not a huge deal overall, but they allowed us to reserve a space online outside, but outside was closed for a wedding. So we were put inside for my wife’s birthday, when we really love the outdoor area at Peerless. Again, not a huge deal, it’s just we didn’t find out until the day before. When asked why we could book it in the first place, they told us they weren’t sure. Benefit of the doubt says that it could just be their scheduling systems fault, technology is weird sometimes. Second, while enjoying our meal, a couple was sat next to us with a very fluffy white dog. This dog did not look like a service dog, albeit they were well behaved. This feels like it’s against health code first of all. And my wife and I were not asked if we had allergies, which we do to certain breeds. This whole interaction felt a bit odd for an establishment as upscale as Peerless. So, the whole latest experience definitely makes me reconsider enjoying my time here, considering I’m paying around $200 for a meal for 2. Probably just an isolated incident, but again it felt strange there was no acknowledgment of the situation.

Overall okay place, but a few things were disappointing. The deconstructed cheese and crackers was a good idea, but specific elements of that dish kind of ruined it. The dumplings and zucchinis were the best thing of the night (more like pierogies though). The bread is $9 for 4 slices, I find that outrageous even if the butter is delicious. I was extremely excited about the beef cheek and it was way too salty, the potatoes were smoked in a way that made it taste like cigarettes (I’ve never had that before), and just was not well balanced. The chocolate cake dessert was dry and tasteless (think low quality pound cake) although their sorbet was good. Our server was lovely and yes they are severely understaffed but we were not in a rush. 3 people, 5 drinks, 2 apps, bread, 3 mains and 2 desserts for $300. Not crazy expensive but also not totally worth it. I would try again but not immediately. Hopefully they can make me change my mind because I wouldn’t actually recommend this restaurant right now.
