Larks Home Kitchen Cuisine, situated at the Ashland Springs Hotel, is a bright and relaxed restaurant offering French-influenced New American fare. The restaurant is located on East Main Street, making it a convenient choice for a meal before enjoying Ashland's summer plays. Larks takes pride in supporting Oregon's local farmers and purveyors by using the freshest locally sourced ingredients such as vegetables, herbs, fruits, meat from small ranchers, Oregon cheeses, and nuts.
Being at Larks is always a treat. I love the whole vibe of the restaurant and the service is friendly and attentive. There aren't many places you can get a hanger steak and they cook it to perfection. They had a breaded artichoke heart appetizer special while we were there and it was so good. I love that they have a vast wine list as well. Definitely a great spot to treat yourself, friends and family. I almost forgot about the basque cheesecake! Divine!

I’ve been there several times on special occasions. The third or fourth time I was actually able to meet the executive chef; Franco. I called him, “The Culinary Maestro!” We ordered the sausage clams, pork belly Brussels sprouts with roasted hazelnuts, pork chops with polenta and kale. Finished with a butter cake. Will definitely be back again soon to enjoy a special epicurean meal from the Culinary Maestro!!!
Ryan W — Google review
Larks was a nice high-end dinner here in Ashland. It was a lovely atmosphere to have a conversation and enjoy a date night. We enjoyed a steak and a curry dish. The presentation was on point and what you would expect for a higher-end restaurant. The steak was perfectly cooked to order. I recommend going here and trying this out if you're looking for a nicer upscale dinner in the Ashland area.

We made reservations for my husband's birthday and it was everything we expected of Larks and more. The service was fantastic, food was delicious, atmosphere warm and cozy. We love that we can always rely on Larks to be consistent in all things especially their attention to the quality of their ingredients. I so appreciated their non-alcohol Lavender Lime Drop was as beautiful and tasty as their alcohol cocktails. Thank you Larks for a wonderful evening
What O — Google review
The main dishes coming out of the kitchen looked fabulous. But when in Ashland, I head to Lark’s for a phenomenal Caesar salad with grilled chicken. This visit, the dressing was delicious. The small grilled chicken breast, however, was thin and overcooked. Same on our second salad. As far as the crispy brussels sprouts starter, personal preference. Extremely oily. While the creamy goat cheese was good, chef could choose a brighter and tarter tasting goat cheese to offset the unctuousness of the sprouts. When paying higher prices, I expect more overall. Perhaps it was an off night for the busy restaurant. A lovely by-the-glass Cava for $10!

My in-laws have been coming to Ashland (at least) once a year for the past 20 years, and dinner at Larks is a must. My husband and I joined them this year, and they did not disappoint! The entire staff was welcoming, fun, and provided great service! We enjoyed various special/seasonal dishes as well as fan favorites (hem-hem the fried chicken). Espresso and dessert was a must, so we didn't fall asleep during the show (we were headed to)! Reservations are highly recommended!
Victoria R — Google review
Pretty basic food for a “High end Restaurant”. I got the simple burger and fries and it took 2 hours for the food to come out. The burger was overcooked and overpriced and the fries were so stale. The Atmosphere was pleasant and the servers were pretty nice. I’ll return next year in Ashland for the Shakespeare festival. Hopefully they can improve on there many flaws.
Lol X — Google review
One of my favorite restaurants in Ashland, Larks serves great cocktails and excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. The ingredients are locally derived and high quality. Someday I hope to try more of their entrées, but the fried chicken is just so good I can never resist ordering it!

Loved this spot, needed dinner and was staying at the best western next door and didn’t wanna go far. I had the chicken Alfredo and my child had the pot roast! Both were delicious with very generous portions! Would like to try breakfast here eventually would definitely recommend as I had great service she was very attentive.

Second time here. Excellent food and service. Yes, I added ketchup to the Denver Omelet before taking the photo. On our third time here, we had the pulled pork sandwich. To spicy for us. Finished it but won't get that again. Still won't have a problem coming back when in the area.
Nolan B — Google review
I'm beginning to like this place more and more. They have the sweetest, hardest working, professional waitresses in town. Always on top of it and very professional. Today I had a pulled pork sandwich and I was surprised how good it was! I think they may have actually smoked it themselves. Ashland needs a good BBQ restaurant. Maybe the Oak Tree could start smoking some baby back ribs, brisket and chicken? I wish they would. I'll be coming here more often! Reasonable prices, professional wait staff, and really good food!
George I — Google review
I am working in Ashland this week and wanted some place that I hadn't been yet. I came across this place and decided "why not?" I ordered the chicken tenders and man, were they great! Lightly breaded, but, crispy and juicy. The fries were fantastic! Tasted fresh cut, with the skins still on, just the way I like them! I got a tuxedo cake to go. I ate some of it when I got back to my hotel room. It was really good, but, not as good as the dinner. If I'm ever back in the area, I would stop in again!
Tera S — Google review
Breakfast is excellent. Love the omelets. Raider omelet. YUM! Lunch is great. Really good sandwiches. I’ve been coming here for five years for a reason. There’s a full bar in back and music and tv screens. The people are very friendly. Great place!😎
Scott F — Google review
Very friendly and attentive service but, the food was not so good. I ordered homemade corned beef hash and it was like someone chopped lunch put cooking oil on it and mixed with hash browns. The corned beef was way to much way too much in proportion especially, when eating cheap lunch meat drowning in oil. My wife makes homemade corned beef and I didn't expect it to match up but there was nothing resembling homemade about it. I will avoid this restaurant in the future. S. King
SCOTT K — Google review
Yuck!. Tasteless and visually unappetizing. I got the turkey and mashed potatoes which turned out to be two white blobs with a bunch of brown gravy all over. And a tiny little plastic cup with canned cranberry sauce. It looked and tasted just like hospital food. Big mistake!

Standing Stone Brewing Company is a solar-powered brewery and restaurant in Ashland, offering locally sourced pizza, pub grub, and a cozy dining atmosphere. Visitors praise the friendly staff and delicious food, with highlights including the cheese pizza with flavorful crust and red sauce, as well as the chicken tortilla salad. The establishment's spacious interior and outdoor seating options provide a comfortable setting for enjoying their menu offerings.
Many of us have experienced not being able to see the forest for the trees but sometimes you can't see the trees for the forest. There are so many great places to eat, drink and hang out in Ashland that sometimes you miss something. I have walked past SSBC a hundred times, I finally walked through their doors and I'm so happy I did. It's much bigger inside than you'd suspect. Intimate and cozy dining area, nice outside seating option with heaters. We sat in the bar area up front and enjoyed some of their beers and shared some very good French fries. Friendly staff, very clean, open kitchen concept. I look forward to our next visit and trying out their pizza and burgers. I really liked the 2IPA.

I went out on a limb and got Brussels sprouts, which I normally don't like and would never order. They were fried to a crispy perfection and served with a delicious garlic sauce - I actually liked them! The beer flight sampler was delicious. The winner beer according to me was the Dark Vader. I had a burger which was yummy and also the Marionberry Cobbler was super delicious, the crust was perfect and the ice cream oozed all over. Joan was a great waitress - a nice person and she made sure I had everything I needed. Thanks, Joan!
Eileen W — Google review
We’re from out of state but find ourselves visiting Ashland every one to two years. I always try to dine at SS when we’re in town because of the consistent nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. My son says the cheese pizza is “the truth!” with a delicious red sauce and chewy flavorful crust. I appreciate that the kids meals come with an option for edamame as opposed to only fries. The chicken tortilla salad is quite honestly the best of the best. I wanted to bottle up that dressing and take home! So so good. 10/10 experience as always.
Amanda R — Google review
Really good food in a cool space. I built my own burger w/ the beef patty and added blue cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and caramilized onions. It also came with tomato jam, which was really awesome. Those sauteed mushrooms really were the star, though. Everything seemed super fresh and well prepared. Happy hour parmesan garlic fries were good enough but I wasn't a huge fan of the basil aioli. Superior customer service.
Erica H — Google review
One of the best burger I have eaten. Even the bread is good. Genuinely friendly service. Beer sampler is also great to try if you can't decide.
Chunglin W — Google review
Good tacos with excellent refried beans. The Vietnamese salad was solid. The zombie fries are incredibly good, and very rich. Tasty beer, excellent location and decor, and service was great.
Jordan B — Google review
We tried three tasty beers. The club sandwich is delicious and hearty and the curry sweet potato fries are meaty and crisp. The host was clueless, but the meal made up for this. Bring your growler, they fill just about any container here!
Mike W — Google review
Standing conveniently located smack dab in the middle of Ashland town center, Standing Stone Brewery is my rock when the call of hunger creeps into the belly of this outlaw. Whether it's a hot date, a family outing, a girls night out on the town, or just a beer when the whistle runs dry after a beautiful stroll in Lithia Park.. the Stone is the place to hone in on. My compadres. I must admit, Mexican is my favorite and I mostly only ever eat tacos.. but friends, believe it or not, the Standing Stone whips up the best asada tacos featuring local organic steak with some of the tastiest authentic salsas served on the side to pepper your senses to your gastrointestinal satisfaction delight? Well u better believe it comrade, because this place will even make a burrito out of those same ingrediente for a couple dollars more. I recommend adding avocado 🥑 to any dish, and make sure to tip the waitress Emma with the pink bow tie extra generously.. she's great and shows the customers a level of attention and service usually thought of as being long gone, only found in the old days.. and for a man of class, taste and sophistication, such as myself.. I'm happy to tip and show my extra gratitude. Thanks again and keep on truckin.

Nestled within The Winchester Inn in downtown Ashland, Alchemy Restaurant and Bar is a high-end dining establishment that offers an elegant atmosphere and New American cuisine. Embracing the concept of alchemy, the restaurant's chefs skillfully combine individual ingredients to create exquisite dishes. From vibrant produce to savory meats and seafood, each element is carefully crafted into culinary masterpieces. The refined staff shares a passion for creating balanced and artful dishes that represent the essence of alchemy.
We had a fantastic experience at Alchemy and we will be returning for sure. The food was amazing and worth going just for that but the service impressed us just as much. We made a last minute reservation for our anniversary and they were able to get us in which was great. The staff were attentive but not over bearing and they answered our questions and made sure we had what we needed. Our server was brilliant and he made our dining experience top notch. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate inside and the outdoor seating was spacious and peaceful. As we were leaving the deer were meandering up the hill. The aged ribeye was perfect and absolutely huge. The lamb shank was delicious and tender. Everything had amazing flavors without being overwhelming. The drinks were pleasant as well. I would recommend Alchemy for a special celebration or just a pleasant evening out.
Andrea A — Google review
Atmosphere was great as was the service. The food on the other hand had some issues. 1. The scallop appetizer comes with three scallops. There were four of us. We indicated we would be happy to pay a bit more to have a fourth scallop added. We were given a lame excuse about keeping the count correct. 2. The duck dish was good but not up to the price level. The breast portion was a bit tough. 3. The filet mignon had a hunk of gristle and too much fat. Not what I would expect at a dining establishment of this caliber.
Dan C — Google review
Some dining adventures can be sheer magic. Such was our experience this past Saturday night when we took out of state family to Alchemy for dinner. it was a magical mix of wine, weather and a professional wait staff who took fantastic care of us. Kudo's to Christian, a great waiter, who saw to everything ... from dinner selections and a great wine pairing. The Caesar salad was a cut above, but the fig salad sent our taste buds into orbit. My filet was grilled as requested ... medium rare. Evan , the new chef found ae free minute to come out of the kitchen and introduce himself. His outward, embracing personality is reflected in his cooking. Reservations are a good idea.
Loring W — Google review
The food was quite good, although I've definitely had better at this price point. Nice cocktails. The service was friendly and helpful, but super slow - we got there at 6:15, and didn't have time for dessert before we had to leave for our 8:00 show. The atmosphere was pleasant. I would recommend for a leisurely dinner, but make sure you've allowed lots of time before a show.
Maxwell P — Google review
To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I was dressed right. Place is a bit fancy but they didn’t treat us like outsiders. Had a glass of Pinot and the duck breast. Both hit. Service was a little stiff, but the food was really well done. Would come back if I wanted to impress someone.
Lila C — Google review
My partner and I came in for dinner and our experience was great! The drinks and food were very delicious. The lamb tartare is a must try as our server Kidd was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. It was a busy night and our food came out promptly. Kidd’s recommendations were spot and he helped make our evening special. We would have preferred to sit outside but Mother Nature had other plans. We look forward to coming back.
Kevin — Google review
The Alchemy restaurant in Ashland offers a wonderful blend of location and atmosphere — refined without feeling pretentious. Service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience. The tuna carpaccio was excellent, fresh and delicate in flavor. I particularly enjoyed the foamed potatoes and the kale-and-mushroom side that accompanied my ribeye; both were prepared with care and full of character. The ribeye itself was cooked perfectly, but fell short in other respects — only about three-quarters of an inch thick, lacking marbling, and somewhat difficult to cut. On the brighter side, I had a “fun” gin and tonic made with locally sourced tonic, which brought an unexpected twist to a classic drink. Overall, a restaurant worth visiting for its setting, service, and inventive touches, with a few areas for improvement in the steak department.
David K — Google review
Went here for a birthday dinner and we each tried something different. They were ALL phenomenal. The service was amazing, the butter was especially devine. And what a beautiful garden view! We also loved the restaurant layout and how the smaller rooms make things more intimate.

Oberon's Restaurant & Bar in Ashland, Oregon is a unique Shakespeare-themed establishment that offers a combination of restaurant and bar experiences. The venue is known for its great ambiance, quality service, and live music performances. With a magical Celtic-Irish vibe, the bar offers an extensive whiskey menu and delicious food options such as meat pies and sandwiches. Guests can enjoy the cozy indoor space or relax on the back patio by the Riverwalk.
I come here every year to my OSF trip, and let me tell you, they NEVER disappoint. Tonight king Scottie made these BOMB nachos, 10/10 + Gyosi was absolutely an incredible bartender who made the best lavender lemon drop ( I come from Portland, so that’s a huge compliment) There was some commotion going on with a guy and Gyosi handled things quickly and swiftly keeping us safe and calling police . 10/10 for BOTH of these wonderful guys!

Not as Advertised - A Completely Different Experience If you’re planning to visit this spot based on the website or its previous reputation, be aware that it’s under new ownership and has undergone significant changes. The menu is now very limited, offering just a few basic bar food options instead of the full menu you’d expect. While the drinks are still creative and enjoyable, they’re one of the few remaining elements from the original experience. The atmosphere has also shifted. The staff seemed distracted and not particularly welcoming, which made us feel a bit overlooked. We waited for quite a while before being acknowledged at the bar. There was live music, which could have been a great feature, but the performance felt more casual and conversational than engaging. It seemed like the focus was more on chatting with the few other patrons than on creating a lively or inviting environment. We came hoping to enjoy a full dinner and a memorable night out, but unfortunately, the changes to the menu, service, and overall vibe led us to leave and dine elsewhere. If you’re looking for a casual drink and don’t mind a limited menu, this might still be worth a visit. However, for those expecting the experience advertised online or the charm of the original establishment, you might want to manage your expectations or consider other options. I hope the new owners take this feedback to heart and work on aligning the current offering with what made this place special in the past.
Rachel Z — Google review
The best spot if you want to fully immerse yourself into the Ashland vibe quickly. Drinks are delectable and good price for top shelf options. The food isn't terrible, just good pub fare. Always have live music and the staff are great!
Derek — Google review
The old atmosphere was WAY better. I spent $22 on nachos and got soggy chips as soon as they can out of the kitchen and it was a single layer of chips. Such a small portion. Also ordered mozzarella sticks ($15,) and they gave us 6, let me repeat that 6 mozzarella sticks. I miss the old Oberon. Drinks were good, just over priced. Don't come in if you are expecting decent portions and a good experience.
John E — Google review
Visited Oberons on a Thursday evening. The bar was dead besides a DJ and friends that were setting up for a Juneteenth dance party. We ordered 2 spicy margaritas (which were not spicy) some mozzarella sticks and two Southwest salads. The 2 salads came out first. They were small and didn't have much substance despite being the entree. Then the drinks arrived, and then the mozzarella sticks, which were served cold. The bartender was not friendly, in fact we didn't feel welcomed at all. When it was time to get the bill the bartender took her sweet time, even though the bar was dead. Cool atmosphere and convenient location.
Sara C — Google review
Absolutely love this hang out spot in Ashland! Always variety crowd, fun, music, excellent drinks and service rocks! We always leave happy.
Sephora G — Google review
What a gem! We were looking for a place to have a nice dinner and a drink and Oberon's was the perfect spot. The staff were friendly and helpful, the drinks strong (signature G&T for me and Moscow Mule for my husband), and the food beautifully presented and delicious! We were lucky enough to get a table outside overlooking the darling riverwalk, and it was the perfect way to end our Ashland adventure. Note: They also had darling gender neutral restrooms!
Cindy J — Google review
Fantastic and fun place! We had a bartender than mentioned that he moved up from east Hollywood that made the best French 75 drink that my girlfriend has ever had! He made the drinks with a level of care and precision that I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever seen. If you’re in Ashland definitely make a stop here for fun drinks and check out the beautiful and relaxing patio by the river Oberon’s shares with several other great restaurants on that street. Ashland is definitely in the top three best cities in Oregon and Oberon’s should be on the short list of best bars in town!

RedZone Sports Bar N' Grill is a beloved local gem located just a stone's throw from the Ashland Springs hotel, making it an ideal spot for both sports fans and foodies. This inviting venue features numerous TVs showcasing live sports events, creating an electric atmosphere perfect for cheering on your favorite teams while savoring delicious bites.
So happy we have a real Sports Bar in Ashland. When I get tired of the "boutique this" and "single origin" that and just want to watch a game, drink a cold one and eat some great food this is my spot. Taco Tuesday is pretty awesome, real beef or chicken tacos well dressed for $1! Strangely they don't have any beer specials happening at the same time as the $1 tacos 😂. The seats are not very comfortable but the TV'S are plentiful and crystal clear.

What a great little spot! We wanted some wings on our trip home and this place really hit the spot. A great salad we could share as well. Excellent service, great prices and a really solid menu. I bet this place really gets after it on game day!
Scott L — Google review
Not so impressed anymore. Used to be our go to spot for casual business meetings. But two women in the 50s I guess aren't their thing cause the last two times they practically ignored us and were rude when we needed things like a napkin. We had generally gone there for the fried pickles. We usually order at least 3-4 drinks and 2-3 plates of appetizers so it isn't like we are going in and ordering water. Service used to be good and friendly but after this last visit I am done and won't be recommending it anyone.
Tammy K — Google review
I've had two of their sandwiches, both were good. However, their "Cuban sandwich" was basically a bbq pulled pork sandwich that I could easily buy almost anywhere in North Carolina. The only thing right was the dill pickles and mustard. I grew up in Miami Florida. There's literally a Cuban restaurant on every block. This so-called Cuban sandwich is so far away from anything Cuban that it's in another universe. Seriously, there's nothing remotely "Cuban" about it. It's a midline pulled pork sandwich at best.
Erik D — Google review
The few times that I have been here now I’ve enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. So many different games being played to keep your attention. It’s very casual and the food is great!
Andrew T — Google review
My wife and I visited shortly after they opened. The sign still said closed but there were already people inside. We shared some pretzel sticks that includes a jalapeno cheese sauce which was definitely a canned cheese sauce with some pickled jalapenos thrown in. My wife had a Reuben and the fries with it were soggy and seemed like they had been reheated from the previous day. I had a small order of wings which were freezer burned, overcooked, tough and stuck to the bone. I ate one and left the other 7. Eventually the waiter came by to check on us after he spent about 15 minutes periodically looking over at our empty drinks. When I mentioned the freezer burn and picked up a wing to show him he just gave me a blank stare, smiled and nodded then asked if we wanted a refill.
Chris ( — Google review
I stupped into The ResZone to watch the Golden State Warriors had some great wings and a wonderful old-fashioned. Bryan is an excellent bartender. The last old-fashioned I got was at Martinos. I asked the bartender Steve not to put soda water in it and he did it anyway he said that's the way it's made yet I brought in the playboy bartender guide from the 60s and they do not make the original old-fashioned with soda water it tasted Like Coca-Cola..Steve the bartender refused to make it the proper way. Thank you Bryan thank you Lama I love the Red Zone.

The limited menu includes whole pizzas, salads, nachos, pretzels, and breadsticks. Additionally, there's a coffee bar serving various drinks and pastries at the same location.
Good rotating beer selection with a good variety to please almost everyone. We went on a night where they did trivia and it was very enjoyable. The host wasn't too loud, some places are too loud for us. The pizza was a great pizza when you just want pizza with your beer. Definitely don't expect the greatest pie of your life but it's really really good. We'll be back!

Great line of Taps, excellent appitizers. Wings were very good, Flatbread Pizza very tasty. Weather outside was nice.

Friendly staff, fast service. Wasn't super fond of the setup outside or the pizza but probably just me. Beer was great and that's really what matters. I do like the concept of coffee in the morning and beer at night. I got garlic pizza and a flight. Would still return.

I went to the pub and had a glass of wine, then ordered nachos to go. When we got the nachos home, I found that the top third was fine, but the bottom third consisted of broken chips from the end of the bag. This was pretty disappointing for a $27 investment! I do not recommend the nachos. On top of that, there was a 15-minute wait despite there only being half a dozen tables occupied.

This place can only be experienced and not explained. The staff, makes it best. 1 woman army.
Harsimran S — Google review
5 stars for drink selection, 3-4 for food. 4 for staff, the guys are great and give good pints, the others not so much. The pizza was surprisingly good the wings were a disappointment, not crispy just kind of soggy. All food is prepared in this kind of easy bake oven so what can you expect. The vibe and views of the mountains are both great. Loved the raspberry cider and IPAs. The cheese on chips looks decent. The soft pretzels are good but the cheese they serve with them is served cold, totally throws me off.

Twice now I have had service problems at Growler Guys, Ashland. Fun place, but straggling. It's fine if all you want is beer, but food orders are not working well. My guess is that they do not have the number of staff they need to operate efficiently . Tonight, it took more than 30 minutes to get a sandwich order so I ended up takng it to go. On one previous occasion they didn't make the menu item I ordered, but being hungry I didn't say anything. And the "taco meat" on the small taco salad is a has a texture like what my dog likes. The link to the website for their "loyalty program" also is a dead link.

Over 70 beers on tap. Gluten free beer on tap. Good music, nice chill spot to hang out night or day. Comes complete with take home Growlers and a little coffee corner too to grab some Lattes if needed. Right in town.

Brewery
Brewpub
Hawaiian restaurant
Nestled in a picturesque mountain setting, Caldera Brewery & Restaurant offers a spacious dining experience with stunning views. This popular eatery boasts an impressive selection of craft ales and lagers on tap, complemented by creative pub grub made from locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant also features an extensive display of beer bottles from around the world. While the food may not be exceptional, the fantastic service and diverse beer offerings make it a must-visit destination for beer enthusiasts.
Spring finally reared its gorgeous head, so it was time to grab a meal with outdoor seating. Caldera came to mind. Time to soak up the view of the hills and get a little sunshine. I’m not much of a beer snob—to me IPAs taste like the smelly rope you were forced to climb in 3rd grade gym class. Can’t comment too much on the selection (lots of IPAs), but I can say the menu made for an intriguing read. They had beers concocted with chocolate, toasted coconut, rose petals, hibiscus, and even Hatch chilis from New Mexico. I picked a nice stout to keep me company. I was impressed with the quality of our main course. We went with the truffle mac to share, and then the Baja fish sandwich (love the name). The noodles in the mac were done just right, firm and not falling apart, doing god’s work, carrying the rich and creamy truffle cheese. The fish was cooked beautifully—crisp and seasoned on the outside, flaky and glistening on the inside. The ingredients were all fresh and refreshing. If you’re looking for some quality pub food, come out and try it. ☀️ ⛰️🍻 Pro tip: if you love root beer, they make the best kind. Also available at local grocery stores. Low in sugar if you are watching your figure.

Honestly it was okay. I have had their beer that is supplied in grocery stores multiple times and had high hopes. I got a flight and two pints and none of them were super great. I was excited for the pretzel bites but they were more like tiny little pieces of bread. The dipping sauce was good! I loved the soda hop soda though, and the house made ginger ale was good if you like ginger and not too sugary soda. Service was decent!

This place always puts a smile on my face, anytime I head up to Washington state from SoCal I make it a point to stop here. It’s been a minute since I’ve visited however the truffle Mac and cheese is fantastic and the burger was juicy flavorful and fresh. Great brews in a relaxing atmosphere. Just what I needed after driving a few hundred miles
Haus P — Google review
The fish and chips were flavorful and savory. Cooked well--crispy on the outside and flaky fish on the inside. The burger was also flavorful and juicy. Bun to burger ratio slightly off -- lots more burger than bun -- but that didn't stop us from eating all of it. Next to a Tesla Supercharger location--convenient to eat while charging.

Great food, great service, excellent cocktails. I enjoyed the different brews/bottles on display. Even the flower pots were decorated with their bottle caps!

Food was good. Beer was ok. Was a busy Friday I’ll give it, but our server was gone long enough for me to forget what she looked like. My biggest gripe was I asked for nachos and she really wanted us to order our dinner with it. I said I wanted our nachos first and food after we were done with nachos. She said she had a button for that. I should have known better but she looked seasoned and maybe would be right. Nope. Got my food almost immediately after my nachos. In fact with the hot sauce it asked for with the nachos. No apologies. Too many good breweries 10 minutes up in Medford to waste time here. I would recommend.

Food: good, Beer: okay, Service: bad, Ambience: nice I had lunch here while charging my car, and it was a mixed bag. Service is definitely the weak spot. I ordered a tuna entree that came with mashed potatoes. I asked the waitress to substitute fries since that's what I was in the mood for. "No, we can't substitute. But you can order a side of fries." Seriously? Are their fries so precious, or the chef so self-important that they refuse to sully their dish that way? I was already paying over $30 for the entree and a beer, so I wasn't going to shell out extra for fries. Another service nit: they gave me water without ice. That wouldn't normally be an issue except it was 100 degrees outside, the water was warm within minutes and the server didn't come back for a while. The tuna dish was actually quite good, even the mashies that I didn't want. The dark lager OTOH was a disappointment. Pretty weak and flat. The place looks nice and has potential, but they need to be more customer friendly.

Nestled in the vibrant Railroad District, Peerless Restaurant & Bar is a hidden gem that beautifully marries upscale New American cuisine with eclectic influences. This former warehouse boasts a stunning garden patio, perfect for enjoying everything from refreshing cocktails to seasonal dishes. The menu showcases an array of flavors, featuring highlights like Ahi Poke and spicy lamb noodles that reflect Asian and Middle Eastern inspirations. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, especially during winter when guests can warm up by the fireplace.
One of the best restaurants in Ashland hands down! The food was out of this world and had the most wonderful cozy atmosphere. We had the Duck Dumplings and Shrimp Fitters to start, which were divine. The chefs talent and creativity really showed in each dish. My table got the Seafood of the Day, Pork Cheeks, and the Duck Confit for our entrees. Each of us were blown away! We all commented that it’s one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Needless to say we will be back.

Easy online reservation via the restaurant website. Appetizers: 1) Sourdough and honey butter rope with sea salt and parsley 2) Carpaccio Soup and salad: 1) onion soup 2) lobster and fennel salad Entree: 1) market fish-flaky, white halibut atop asparagus risotto 2) duck breast with roasted root vegetables Service: attentive! Originally sat outside on a crisp spring evening with outdoor heater. After the sun went down, it became too cold and we (and, several other table guests) all moved indoors with ease. While the onion soup was topped off nicely, it didn’t resemble a typical French onion soup with a deep beef and wine base. Instead, it reminded me of a chicken pozole but without the chicken and chickpea. It was ok. Our favorite was the lobster and fennel salad by far! Accompanied by a generous slice of sourdough finished with creamy butter, the real treat was the honey drizzled butter. The entrees were very good and we’d recommend. I may return for the ribeye.

What a fun place for happy hour, especially when the weather is nice outside and the garden is available. We recently enjoyed happy hour in the garden of Peerless. The garden is large enough for quite a few people, quite, beautifully landscaped and shaded during the warm summer months. The service was excellent and the food was delicious, especially the hamburger. It's a shame that the happy hour is only one hour. Definitely take advantage of the happy hour out back in the beautiful garden and enjoy some delicious food and great drinks.

I’ve been here more than once. The food is always very good and occasionally brilliant. Portion sizes are reasonable but not large if you’re a big eater. (Given the price point) Bartender is sharp and there are good wines by the glass. Atmosphere is pleasant and homey and not crowded. Conversation is easy even with other diners.

One of my favorite restaurants to come to in Ashland. The outdoor garden is a beautiful place to dine on a warm summer evening. Take a moment to admire the large apple tree in the back.

They always take good care of us! We started with great cocktails: I had the Well-oiled Machinist, a duck fat washed Buffalo Trace bourbon with campari! Ooh la la! My wife had their G&T with a house made rosemary-forward tonic that was to die for. For starters my wife had amazing crisped potato dumplings with zucchini and vadouvan curry, covered in diced tomatoes and chives. (Pictured below) I had the perfect beef carpaccio. For dinner we had the Katsu Pork Confit Crepinette, a rich and decadent creatively twice cooked pork, loosely ground, and fried crispy; and the also rich and wonderful seared duck breast where roasted root veggies played with bright fresh orange. We loved everything.
Dylan L — Google review
My wife and I have been coming here for years, but this last visit compelled me to write this review. First off the food and vibe are usually amazing. I’ve always felt you could never go wrong eating here, honestly. But the 3 star review is for a couple things from my latest visit. First, not a huge deal overall, but they allowed us to reserve a space online outside, but outside was closed for a wedding. So we were put inside for my wife’s birthday, when we really love the outdoor area at Peerless. Again, not a huge deal, it’s just we didn’t find out until the day before. When asked why we could book it in the first place, they told us they weren’t sure. Benefit of the doubt says that it could just be their scheduling systems fault, technology is weird sometimes. Second, while enjoying our meal, a couple was sat next to us with a very fluffy white dog. This dog did not look like a service dog, albeit they were well behaved. This feels like it’s against health code first of all. And my wife and I were not asked if we had allergies, which we do to certain breeds. This whole interaction felt a bit odd for an establishment as upscale as Peerless. So, the whole latest experience definitely makes me reconsider enjoying my time here, considering I’m paying around $200 for a meal for 2. Probably just an isolated incident, but again it felt strange there was no acknowledgment of the situation.
Dayne P — Google review
Overall okay place, but a few things were disappointing. The deconstructed cheese and crackers was a good idea, but specific elements of that dish kind of ruined it. The dumplings and zucchinis were the best thing of the night (more like pierogies though). The bread is $9 for 4 slices, I find that outrageous even if the butter is delicious. I was extremely excited about the beef cheek and it was way too salty, the potatoes were smoked in a way that made it taste like cigarettes (I’ve never had that before), and just was not well balanced. The chocolate cake dessert was dry and tasteless (think low quality pound cake) although their sorbet was good. Our server was lovely and yes they are severely understaffed but we were not in a rush. 3 people, 5 drinks, 2 apps, bread, 3 mains and 2 desserts for $300. Not crazy expensive but also not totally worth it. I would try again but not immediately. Hopefully they can make me change my mind because I wouldn’t actually recommend this restaurant right now.

Louie's of Ashland is a laid-back spot offering American cuisine and cocktails, complete with a charming creekside patio, game nights, and sports on TV. The restaurant provides an extensive menu with options for both humans and dogs, including many vegetarian choices. Diners have praised the delicious food at reasonable prices, such as tacos, hummus, Thai lettuce wraps, BBQ ribs, and wild-caught salmon. The atmosphere is described as warm and inviting with attentive but not overbearing staff.
Good service and good food with reasonable prices. Also has a wide selection. Truffle fries were ok. the Oregon Ribs which did not have much of a blackberry taste but were still good. Chicken skewers had a spicy sauce along with them. Somewhat small for $11. Chicken. Canoes were tasty. Drinks were strong. My wife liked the lavender lemon drop so much she got 2. Service was attentive. Food came fast.

We tried out Louie’s on a recent trip to Ashland, and boy was it good! We lucked out with weather and were able to sit out back on the patio which was delight and right next to Lithia Creek! The staff were very friendly and helpful with making menu suggestions. The food was delicious and came very quickly! This is a great eatery to try on your next visit to Ashland!

Delicious, healthy eats! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We called ahead for a walk in order of the chicken skewers meal with sweet chili and peanut sauce, paired with organic greens and brown rice—nutritious and tasty. Added espresso ice cream, creamy and perfect for a park stroll, melting into a fluffy, mousse-like texture. Will definitely return! Side note: every experience with the staff was superb and matched with a genuine smile.

The setting here is so fun, by the creek, along the path to the theater where many restaurants are situated. They are SO dog friendly, even with an individual water bowl and a fur-baby menu!!! Kip had chicken and rice. 😀 Their human menus are color coded. Vegan (green) and gluten free ( blue) for example. But lots of meat dishes too. Small plates. Great cocktails (purple menus) . Really affordable. Really good wait staff who all came and greeted my pup. My waiter Cody was awesome- Thank You! Can't recommend this place enough, I'll be back.

Brickroom is a stylish and architecturally stunning restaurant located on the second floor with a beautiful deck overlooking the Plaza. The menu offers modern American small plates and mains, complemented by an impressive selection of craft cocktails. The casual yet vibrant atmosphere often features live music on weekends, attracting a lively crowd. While reservations are recommended during peak times, the experience is well worth it for the beautifully presented and delicious food.
This was a lovely meal. If you sit outside on the patio you can listen to the creek flowing. They have an awning and umbrellas for the outdoor dining. The food was locally sourced and yummy. The menu wasn’t too long, but everything was done well. We were pleasantly surprised by the baked olives served warm with herbs. The loaded fries! You can’t go wrong with bacon. We went in a group and everyone loved their food and craft cocktails. The hummingbird and Mary Sue were our two favorite cocktails. It is on a second floor so make sure you’re looking for it.

No dice. We understand staffing issues are often beyond the control of restaurant management but at some point, ya gotta acknowledge the customer and apologize. Obviously they were short staffed on a Saturday morning in August. Ashland was packed and rainy so cafes were *busy*. Everyone hustled *hard* here but the place was half full and after a 5 minute wait at the host stand and FORTY minutes after being seated, we had still gotten not one word of acknowledgment from a server. Nothing. I think of us as pretty understanding but ya gotta at least say you’re sorry. We had a 1:30 play & were hungry so we bailed at Noon. 45 minutes of coffeeless salivating was enough. Too bad. The menu looked great, the drinks looked awesome and the decor was very nice. Maybe you’ll catch them on a good day. We didn’t and there are plenty of other choices. We headed to a fully packed Brothers who warmly greeted, quickly seated & served us right away.

I absolutely adored my experience here. I sat outside for an early dinner. The sun was hitting the balcony just right and the creek was babbling away. I ordered the dirty fries (no banana pepper) as an appetizer and the cherry pork belly for my meal (substituting rice for the polenta which I think made it a lighter dish). The fries were tasty and the ranch was really good. The pork belly though?! Out of this world good. The cherry compote is perfectly acidic to balance the fattiness of the pork belly, then the chili oil drizzle gives it this mild but lingering heat and the shaved green onions on just add delicious freshness. I highly highly recommend this dish. I’m only visiting for 2 days and I’m considering going back for it tomorrow!!!

Definitely deserves 5 stars. Great atmosphere, a solid bar and a wonderfully curated menu, particularly the entrees. From the starters section, the spicy blackened cauliflower is excellent, the cubano is a straight classic from the sandwiches, and I was pleasantly surprised by the tender and flavorful flat iron steak over garlic mashed potatoes. Great spot in a neighborhood of great spots.

We came two days in a row for bunch. We were some of the only ones there for Friday brunch and had an incredible bartender/waitress who was so helpful, cool, and friendly. She was one of the reasons we braved the more busy Saturday brunch and even with the crowds the vibes at Brickroom were immaculate. Can’t say enough about the staff, and the only thing better was the food. Really great food with gorgeous presentation and attention to detail— again, that can be hard to come by on a busy day so we were so impressed with the quality of care from the entire Brickroom team. You may see us again tomorrow 🤭

Omar's Fresh Seafood and Steaks is a classic steakhouse and cocktail lounge that has been serving a variety of dishes including beef, seafood, and burgers since 1946. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff who make diners feel welcome and appreciated. Customers have praised the delicious escargot in mushrooms as well as the fresh oysters, although they may not always be served on the half shell.
I had a great experience at Omar's . I was stopping by 2 get some food after work. I entered it with escargot and seafood excellent I could not ask for better. Ryan the bartender was courteous and helpful in selecting my items. I had stopped in a few days earlier for the $10 lunch what a deal. Ryan waited on us at that point to he was gracious and knew his stuff who arrived quickly and we were excellently satisfied.

First time dining here, we enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of historic photos, which I really enjoyed. Fresh flowers in old glass vases on every table. Seated quickly, server was a sweet girl. We tried the special of New York strip, garlic mashed, grilled asparagus in balsamic glaze, and panko breaded soft shell crab. $45 per plate. I was really happy with the steak, it was cooked and seasoned really well. I liked the asparagus, it was not mushy but firm. The potatoes were plated beautifully as well. Husband had an oyster shooter that he said was great. Husband did not like the crab, there was a slight mush in the middle. I didn’t know how to eat it, 😂 but overall a good experience and somewhere I’d go again. Ashland also has an additional food tax even though it’s Oregon so you will find that at any restaurant you eat at there, and they do charge a card use rate of I think 3%. Only gave 3 stars for the food because of the crab, the rest was good. Thanks!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Omar’s in Ashland is pure gold. Sat at the bar with a bartender who was warm, funny, and poured a martini that was absolute perfection — kept the whole bar buzzing while still making me feel like a VIP. Bomb!! The onion rings were golden, crispy nuggets of joy — smothered in ranch, beer-battered to perfection, the kind of flavor you only get from years of practice. Big, bold, and downright unforgettable. I’d drive up from San Francisco just for another basket.

Got here (first timers) at 4:30 pm, ahead of the Raiders vs Warriors game and took advantage of happy hour. Got invited to sit at a table even though only the bar was open. Ordered up off the specials menu— the calamari, some chowder and a set of pork bbq sliders, complimented by an Arnold Palmer for the driver and a couple of John Dalys (add vodka). Finished off with one-each of the desserts—blueberry cobbler, a crème brûlée and an ice cream sundae. Completely not sorry. Everything was truly amazing, made fresh in-house (except the ice cream). Freshly breaded seafood, freshly fired sugar cap on the crème brûlée. Just amazing. If the volleyball didn’t bring me the Ashland, Omar’s would!! We’ll certainly be back!

This IS THE PLACE first eating dinner or lunch or whenever they're open. We had dinner and it was very very good! Oyster shooters, clam chowder, steamed clams, to start accompanied with plenty of fresh hot bread, then our mains were the Halibut, perfectly prepared with a beautiful seasoning just a touch of crust but the meat was flaky and melt in your mouth delicious, the fish and chips are the best I've had since Scotland, and finally and perhaps incongruously a chicken fried steak! It was the best I've had. Period. Sorry Texas. While the mains were enough the sides were also excellent, from my potato wedges that had a nice crunchy seasoned exterior and a lovely soft center to the real whipped potatoes seasoned with a bit of chives and butter these were amazing by themselves. Then when we're all done begging for mercy they mention their creme broule and it won the night. Hard crust creamy not too sweet smooth deliciousness. All this amazing food plus 6 adult beverages (they have a full bar) was under $200!!! Blew my mind. This is not cheap food, this is excellent food prepared excellently at a bargain price. If I lived within a 100 miles I'd be here once a week. Finally the people are the friendliest most warm and helpful group I've been around since the 80s. Proactive service! Remember those days. These people haven't ever forgotten. In businesses since 1946!!! Just a real treasure! Treat yourself and visit. Tip your waitstaff the amount you know you should have paid for this great experience!

This is a total hidden gem. The restaurant looks humble from the outside and bar, but the interior dining room has an old-fashioned, intimate atmosphere. Everything about every dish my family ate was impressive and satisfying. My NY steak was excellently seasoned and cooked perfectly medium rare. The Oregon Snapper fish and chips my mother ate were outstanding. Especially the "chips," which were these tender potato wedges with a outside crisp I've never seen before. And our server was professional, personable, and relaxing. Overall, for me and my family, it was perfect in every aspect.

Our group of four dined here recently after a weekend at the Shakespeare Festival. Our service was excellent; I particular enjoyed the chicken fried steak. The breaded coating was actually moist, instead of the usual rock- hard crust one usually gets with this item in most places Bits of bacon in the breading were an added bonus. We shared a sundae for dessert, just like nearly every other group that was there (6 groups). It was definitely worth eating there, and I would definitely make an effort to eat there every time I'm in town.

Nestled in the heart of Ashland, The Black Sheep Pub & Restaurant is a delightful spot that captures the essence of British cuisine. This cozy establishment offers a menu filled with hearty favorites like meat pies and classic fish 'n' chips, complemented by an impressive selection of beers and cocktails. Upon entering, guests are welcomed with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The inviting atmosphere is enhanced by charming decor that reflects its English pub roots.
This review is (of course) for the Black Sheep, but more specifically for their revamped brunch menu and new chef. I went here the other day for a brunch-time drag show (they feature performances by local artists multiple times a week + have open mic nights as well!), and decided to order the Eggs Benedict. Now, I'm going to be real: I'm kind of obsessed with Eggs Benedict. If it's on the breakfast menu at a restaurant, I am getting the Eggs Benedict. Most of the time, I am happily satisfied. Once in a while I am disappointed. However, this Eggs Benedict, made by The Black Sheep, might be the best Eggs Benedict I have had in the valley in as long as I can remember, and I do NOT make that statement lightly. The English muffin toasted to perfection + buttered lightly and the hearty slice of ham understood the assignment— however, the star of this dish happens to be the eggs themselves: I have never consumed, let alone cooked, such a perfectly prepared egg in my life! The chef clearly knows what they're doing! The jammiest of jammy yolks...I'm drooling just thinking about it. 🤤 All of it draped in a perfectly seasoned, velvety hollandaise with just the right amount of tang makes this dish utter...perfection. To seal the deal they pair the dish with some delicious home-fry potato wheels (which I boxed up and took home as leftovers) and a few pieces of fresh fruit to cleanse your palate. Do yourself a favor, and the next time you want Eggs Benedict while roaming around downtown Ashland for a respite to break your fast, take yourself out to The Black Sheep. As for me personally, I will be back soon, hungry for more.

Overwhelmingly mediocre. This is not really an "Irish pub" as it is a bunch of random memorabilia from the British Islands and Ireland thrown into a high ceiling upper bar. The food was $16-18 per plate for underwhelming food. We ordered Shepard's pie and fish and chips, F&C was fine, they gave us a lot of fries and only two pieces of fish, they could have given us half as much fries and another piece and I would have been more happy. The fish itself was delicious however, and the tartar sauce became with was homemade and excellent. Best part of the meal. It came with buttered peas that were round mush, but that's to be expected from buttered peas. The shepherd's pie was almost deconstructed? It was like they separated all the essential ingredients into three parts and layered them on top of each other. The flavor was mediocre, it just tasted like stewed beef and potatoes. If you think that's all. Shepherd's pie is your sorely mistaken. Finally, our beers were somehow $10 a piece, I had a Guinness on draft and my wife had a black and tan. I wouldn't recommend this in the future and we likely won't be back.

After a quiet stroll in Lithia park we stopped by for some Pub Fare here. I had the Fish cakes and A Cornish Pastie with some Home Cut Chips ion the side. The food was great, the beef perfectly tender and the pastry was delightful. Forrester our Host was helpful and professional.

The food was great and server attentive. The fish and chips were crispy and it was such a large portion! The Scottish eggs were a new try for me and I loved the Dijon mustard. Then, a local shop called The Lantern, hosted a story telling night for patrons to tell a life story about a given prompt. It was almost poetic to hear.

Nestled in a charming converted house, Cucina Biazzi offers an intimate dining experience that transports you straight to Italy. This delightful restaurant features a lovely patio adorned with wisteria, perfect for enjoying the fresh air while savoring generous portions of authentic Italian cuisine. The menu is customizable, allowing guests to tailor their meals to their preferences.
My husband and I always eat at Cucina Biazzi when we pass through Ashland! This was our 8th time and the restaurant remains amazing! Our server was very attentive, every dish superb, and the wine was the icing on the top! Our favorite dish of all has always been the Lobster Ravioli, if you eat only one thing that should be it, it’s too die for!
V. B — Google review
We had dinner reservations at 5:30pm. It was our wedding anniversary. We ordered the 4 course service and paid an up charge for the lobster ravioli. We also paid for the special which was a fish stew... where the fish was dried out. I inquired about their port wines and expressed interest in dessert. When we pulled up, there were 2 tables before us...one outside and one inside. Before we got our entrees, 2 other tables had their entrees before us. They too had ordered the 4 course meals. Our server had barely paid attention to us. Our food was just simply dropped off. Maximum tables in the entire place was 7-8 tables from 5:30-7:00pm. They had 2 servers and couldn't deal with it. I heard the other server offer an extra plate for the shells and tails for their customer that ordered the same thing as my husband. Our server never did that. There was a huge lag in between the courses. We were not the servers priority. The service sucked. I want to also put it out there, that I have had a decade of food service experience. I was horrified with the lack of attention and level of service that was provided. The Winchester House (Alchemy) has exceptional service, the Arbor House is awesome and Rivers Edge in Grants Pass is great too. Do not waste your time on this place. Rebekah needs some training on how to work her station. Rebekah needs to focus on all of her tables. We were super disappointed.

Wonderful trout special, very unusual mushrooms in the antipasto, "vanilla" ice cream extraordinary. Excellent service. Long established tradition for great food. Everything is good to great.
Samuel S — Google review
Excellent food, but I agree with one of the reviews that the food lacks salt and there was no salt at the table (we would expect a gray or Maldon salt because of the price of the dishes). The salad and capellini are split dishes. We ate on the patio which was nice but hot. No refills offered on the lemonade and iced tea. So, including service and lack of salt, my wife and I agreed that this was not a 5-star experience but should have been.

When my Lady said she wanted to see the Redwoods and Oregon Coast, I had only one requirement for my experience. Cucina Biazzi has been in Ashland, OR for as long as I remember, and I hoped it was still there. I remembered many meals enjoyed both inside and under the wisteria-covered patio. What I remembered most about the always amazing food was the Tre Formaggi Ravioli con Lobster, jumbo 3-cheese raviolis, with large chunks of sauteed lobster in a very special Lemon Cream Sauce. I have searched for it every place I have been since I left Ashland in 1999, but I have yet to find its equal. When we arrived, I began to fear that the dish may not be as good as my memories of it, that perhaps I had built it up over time into some mythical experience which no meal could live up to. I needn't have been concerned. When our server brought it to the table, I went into sensory overload just from the aroma, yet I was almost afraid to taste it. My first bite brought tears to my eyes. It was even BETTER than I remembered. The second bite brought even more tears of joy, and by the end of the first ravioli, I didn't know if I was going to be able to get through the rest of the dish, much less the rest of the meal. Yes, it was that good! I appreciate the staff for making us feel more than welcome, and for knowing when to stand back when a grown man is weeping in extasy over his meal. I can not recommend Cucina Biazzi highly enough. The setting is beautiful, the service is 5-star, and the food has been some of the best I have had in my life, anywhere. Squisito!

Wow! This was an amazing meal! The place is small, but absolutely adorable and intimate, really feels of a classic Italian dinner experience. The food was outstanding, also a good wine list. Only complaint was the service was not great, but really didn't matter because the food was so good.

Hearsay Restaurant, Lounge & Garden is a charming establishment located in the lower level of Ashland's renowned Old Pink Church. The warm and inviting eatery offers a diverse menu featuring American steaks and seafood. Guests can enjoy the cozy interior adorned with local artist murals or opt for outdoor seating in the leafy garden. The restaurant prides itself on delivering an exceptional dining, social, and entertainment experience.
Hearsay was such a treat! It looks like it’s been around for quite some time. We were able to eat in back garden/patio area without reservations because we arrived close to 5pm but making reservations is highly recommended. The garden feels like a beautiful oasis. It’s such a pleasant spot to eat a yummy meal. The drinks all looked like they were prepared with a lot of love. The scallops, though small were delicious. All of our food was really good. We were pleasantly surprised by this sweet place.

Perfect in every detail! We loved our hand crafted and original cocktails! Strawberry infused campari paired with caraway liquor and sweet vermouth? Wow! We loved the seared scallops with ripe, mango and jalapeno. The beet salad with orange and feta was delicious and we fell upon it. Our entrees were the chicken Milanese, fried tender crispy in lemon better caper mustard cream sauce with mashed potatoes and aurricula salad. And the flaky rich halibut in brown butter with asparagus and parsnip puree. For dessert, the lime coconut sorbet with shortbread was bright and fun and well worth it. You made our night, Hearsay. Thank you!

We had reservations for a Monday at five o'clock. Being early diners we had the patio to ourselves where we were promptly seated. The surrounding shrubs and trees added to an idyllic setting. The wine list is more than adequate, featuring many Oregon and California reds. For a starter I selected the Spanish grilled octopus which rocked my taste buds ... expertly prepared to the right tenderness and served on a bed of cannellini beans. For the main course the short ribs served on polenta with a layer of wilted spinach hit all the high notes. The halibut and shrimp and pasta dishes were also raved about by our group. By the time our dinner arrived the restaurant was filled to capacity. The service at times was a little less than attentive and was knocked down one star.

Everything was absolutely fabulous, Kimberly provided great service. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was on point delicious. We celebrated a birthday and anniversary. We definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Our party of 10 visited before going to a play. Great food, almost everyone got a different cocktail and enjoyed them all (but the fancy gin and tonic). Short ribs seemed to be the biggest hit food wise. The outdoor atmosphere was enjoyable, and the service was excellent for a large party.

Cute jazzy eclectic restaurant near the oregon cabaret theater. Menu is small but offers delicious items. There is garden seating, but we have not been offered a table out theret and we have visited twice. Service is good. It did take a little while to get our first drink. But after that, the service picked up. We would definitely return!

Lovely spot to dine before an evening of theater (no theater for us, just dinner). Their cocktails are creative, appetizers delish to share. We had grilled asparagus and the goat cheese with citrus jam and crostini, also shared the beet salad. Entrees were great burger, veggie platter chicken Milanese, and prawn fettuccine, all delish. I didn't care for strong goat cheese, and theirs was mild enough for me to enjoy.
Colleen S — Google review
An excellent menu of classy new American dishes has really improved of late. The short rib here is to die for so well smoked and braised to a creamy fork soft texture. The onion tart on the starter side is also amazing. Salad choices are also upper end. Great atmosphere, craft cocktails, and even a small but adequate wine and beer menu make this a good restaurant for date night and enticing food for the foodie in your group. Service here is prompt and very professional. Ashland has few such restaurants, so just go!

Customers have praised the perfectly cooked dishes such as coho Salmon and chicken piccata served with delicious sides. The best local smoked Coho salmon scramble and Marionberry muffin ever! Great service. All six people liked their food.

Food was OK. Stephanie the waitress was pleasant and a good waitress. The busboy/ dishwasher, as Stephanie put it, seemed "challenged". He entered the restaurant area 3 times, twice when Stephanie was not there. No one else was in the restaurant. He would look at me with disgust in his eyes and nod his head no, several times and seemed to be mad and talk to himself or me. The third time he appeared he again nodded his head giving me a dirty looks. I asked him if he had a problem. He said " I'm getting off soon, and will not let anyone ruin it for him". I replied, hope you have a better day. Then Stephanie walked in and asked if everything was OK. I said yes and asked her if the guy had problem? She hesitated, then said " he's challenged. I replied, that's a kind word, he's has problems. I left. Bad for business!

I've drive past this little gem a lot when in Ashland. My neighbor and I decided to go check it out on 8/28/25. First off, the atmosphere is completely relaxed and very casual and definitely was a good fit for both of us. The woman running the place is very friendly and an awesome conversationalist! We ordered Moscow Mules and they did not disappoint (love them better than the ones at Louie's). I ordered the Ruben Supreme,(no kraut 🤢), and it brought back memories of the Onion Roll deli back in Michigan. My neighbor got the Fish and chips plate and absolutely enjoyed every bite! They treated his service dog with so much love and attention too! Definitely a hidden gem in the bougie world of Ashland. Plenty of parking for both able and disabled people with easy one level entrance and exit. My next trip to Ashland might just be so I can treat myself to yet another awesome, comfortable, relaxing, and delicious cafe and bar lunch. Can't wait to find out how good their patty melts are! Thanks so much to all the wonderful people that work at The Wild Goose!

Nestled in the heart of Ashland, the Ashland Food Co-op is a delightful grocery store that surprises visitors with its vibrant atmosphere and commitment to local, organic produce. While it may not seem like a typical kid-friendly spot, children flock here for the mouthwatering selection of seasonal fruits like juicy strawberries and tasty treats such as cream cheese-stuffed bagels and smoked salmon. On sunny days, families can enjoy their meals in the charming courtyard while soaking up live music from local musicians.
Best grocery store in Ashland. Great selection, good quality, lots of healthy and organic items, great produce and just a really welcoming feel. Does not feel corporate at all. Good take out counter, lots of places to sit outside, good parking - just a great experience.
Andrew K — Google review
Nice store with a great little cafe. My only complaint is how busy it gets as both the parking lot and the aisles are usually packed to the max and it can get a bit hectic. Selection is decent for a smaller store and the prices are a little on the high side (to be expected so close to downtown).
Chris W — Google review
Not impressed ( sorry) first time coming here. Parking was extremely hectic which i guess shows people love shopping there. I did appreciate that there were bulk organic items which is nice but I can find what I need organic much cheaper and not taxed in Medford And Central point at grocery outlet or even natural grocery. I guess if you live in Ashland it's convenient And maybe the best choice around.
Jenny S — Google review
Love, love it! If you're in or live in the area, definitely check this Co-Op out. A great place for supplies, organic, GF, produce, meats, snacks, bulk & a food bar for a meal. In the back there's bulk honey, bring your own jar (be sure to get it weighed on the way in) or there's multiple size containers if you need one. Yummy muffins & cookies plus a coffee bar. ☕️ 💜✨️
Rae M — Google review
The Ashland Co-op has a great selection of high-quality products, and their commitment to sustainability and local sourcing is truly admirable. The staff are friendly, helpful, and clearly work hard to keep things running smoothly. The café bar is probably my favorite part, it consistently serves delicious food and drinks, and I always leave satisfied. That said, the shopping experience itself can be challenging. The space is very small and often overcrowded, which creates a tense, uncomfortable atmosphere. I’ve frequently encountered cranky, entitled shoppers who act like they own the aisles. People rarely want to move or make space for others, and you can feel the tension the moment you walk in. It makes what could be a pleasant trip feel like a stressful one. I really wish the atmosphere matched the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff.
Ruby N — Google review
Picked up dinner from the hot bar. Everything tasted fresh and real. After a few days driving I-5, this was much needed! Oh, we also paired our dinner with a chocolate stout and dessert (tiramisu). Will definitely go back next time I’m in the area!
Caleb G — Google review
I was disgusted to come in to the HOT food area and see how many DUSTY fans blowing on the food they pre prep for everyone. I mentioned this to the lady at the help desk which she said she would relay to the kitchen manager. I went in a few days later to see if someone had taken care of the problem, as this is “food contamination” and still a yellow fan covered in dust blowing directly into the kitchen. As an establishment that asks people for $100 for a co-op card this is definitely not acceptable. My pregnant wife and I will not be returning. Really quite a shame that they don’t take people’s health as seriously as they claim.

The dining experience at Osteria La Briccola was incredible. The service provided by server Sydney was outstanding, and the house-made pasta dishes were exceptional. The cocktails were also beautifully crafted. The clams and mussels were fresh and bursting with flavor, while Gary's Squid Ink Linguini stood out for its lightness and perfect level of spiciness.
Although the location isn't the greatest. It was definitely an excellent experience at this fine dining Italian restaurant with a menu that had so many delicious options. The staff was very helpful in deciding what to order. The deserts were amazing as well. Make your reservations and try this place out!
Steve H — Google review
As an Ashland local, this restaurant would be at the top of my list for anyone passing through. Normally as a rule, I don't order pastas out at restaurants. You end up just paying for the chef to throw together a sauce. However, when the restaurant specializes in making fresh pasta from scratch, this rule can and must be broken. I have gone to Osteria several times and never ordered a meat dish, always pasta. Pictured you can see my favorite squid-ink pasta. Squid ink noodles, shrimp, and sausage mixed in a gorgeous buttery sauce. The freshness and brininess of the sea collide so beautifully with the heartiness of the sausage. I literally have dreams about it, wake up, and book my reservations. For starters, my go-to is the tricolored salad (green, white, and red elements 🇮🇹). Makes for an excellent meal! I felt bad for the guy sitting next to me chomping on a steak. My advice: don't miss out on the pasta! The ambience here is great. There is a casual bar area, or a more elevated dining room. Go for the patio if the weather permits. The service is typically either phenomenal or average. Be sure to make a reservation and enjoy!

Myself and my family had the opportunity to eat at La Briccola last week. We sat outside, which was beautiful, even with the warm weather. There was plenty of shade and the view of the trees and the sound of the creek made for an excellent atmosphere. We ordered two bottles of wine, two salads, an appetizer, four entrees and three desserts. All of the food was quite well prepared, delicious and came with great service. My only complaint is that while the bread is quite excellent, there isn't enough bread served to begin with and the fact that they charge you for extra bread, especially for a party of 6, comes off as cheap. I'm been to plenty of upscale Italian restaurants around the country and this hasn't been the case. The atmosphere inside was also quite excellent. The server was friendly and attentive. The owner came around to all of the tables to check in and assisted us when needed. We even purchased one of their delicious pasta sauces after finishing our meal. I would recommend getting a reservation, especially during peak tourist times of the year.

Osteria la Briccola is likely the pinnacle of the Ashland theater district dining options -- not because we've tried them all -- but it's hard to imagine that any restaurant does it better. The upstairs (up elevator) dining room is beautiful and inviting, with a wonderful, shaded outdoor patio overlooking the river. Osteria la Briccola's excellent standards are apparent in every aspect, from the truly skilled and gracious staff to a thoughtfully curated menu, impeccably prepared. The attention to every detail at Osteria la Briccola creates a welcoming dining experience for the senses that you won't want to miss.

Creekside Pizza Bistro is a relaxed eatery in Ashland, Oregon that specializes in both signature and customizable pizzas. They also offer a full bar with a rotating selection of beers and a pool table for entertainment. Situated by Ashland Creek, this restaurant can be somewhat elusive to find but is definitely worth the search.
This place offers pizza by the slice in a few choices from veggie to pepperoni. I ate at the bar and my tab was very reasonable. It’s a little hard to find. Just go to the exact address and go down the stairs. As named, it is by the creek.
Dick A — Google review
Looks like a cool spot to grab a drink but I wasn't impressed with the pizza. Maybe they left my order back there a long time but the crust flaked into pieces and was so messy to try to eat. I paid $4 to add pepperoni and they didn't add it, and the center of the pizza was stuck to the box and really soggy- all the slices ripped in half and the toppings slid off. I showed up when they said for my order, and had to wait another 20 minutes to flag down a server to pick it up, despite several stopping by to use the register.

Found a screw in our fries (yes, a whole screw was put into the middle of the fries), pizza was mid, and the service was not great. Server seemed to make the rounds to everyone but our table and gave us paper plates while everyone around us had plates. The actual location seemed great. Seems like a nice place if you're already friends with the wait staff or kitchen.

This was our first time here but we really liked it. It is a little hard to find as you have to get to it from the back nad lower level of the building and under highway 99 bridge, but is is well worth it. We had the Yammers for an appetizer. Then we had the Walnut Pear salad which is just delicious as the Walnuts are candied and it is topped with a balsamic vinegarette dressing. To finish we split the Slammy vegetarian pizza. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is very efficient.

Great experience at Nama last night. First time guest and i felt like family. Best course was the cup of dashi. I really enjoyed the trout hand roll, the egg and potato chips, and halibut tiradito. Sipped on N/A sake was was glad. Best restaurant in Southern Oregon.

Was very excited to dine here after having such an exceptional experience at MAS this past winter. The wife and I came in for our third wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been a more perfect dining experience. The food leaves you longing for more after every bite, the drinks and especially for me the sake we’re far superior to anywhere else locally, and the atmosphere is of that what you would expect from a restaurant in the Bay Area or New York City. Can’t wait to come back more often! We’ll done Chefs and Team!

The food and service were fabulous. I was particularly impressed by the complex and delicious vegan items that were prepared on the spot, without advance notice, for my partner. She was gracious enough to accompany me with a belief that there would be very little for her to eat at Nama. She left feeling that she had had one of the most tasty meals she has ever had in Ashland, reminding her of the meal we had at 11 Madison Park in NYC, the three star Michelin rated vegan restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Local jewel. Must go in your visit to Ashland. Everything in the menu is incredible. Fresh, flavorful and original. They mount the plates in thoughtful way, great for instagram enthusiasts. Good drinks, variety of options. The menu changes constantly, but you’re in for a treat!

If you're in the mood for a delightful culinary experience, make your way to Bird & Rye, located just a short stroll south on East Main Street. This unique establishment blends the charm of a pub with the comfort of Southern-style cuisine, all crafted by former Oregon Iron Chef Neil Clooney. Indulge in their mouthwatering fried chicken and pimiento cheese hushpuppies—definitely worth every calorie!
Relaxing, local pub feel, serving Southern comfort food with a pacific northwest twist! Great atmosphere, great food. We ordered several items off the menu because everything sounded so good. Started with a baby kale salad (big pieces of thick, crispy bacon, super fresh greens, crazy delicious beetroot pickled hardboiled eggs, radishes, blue cheese dressing). So bomb!! The buttermilk fried chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crispy on the outside. Chicken tortilla soup was excellent. Fried chicken thigh sandwich was perfectly cooked, slaw was crispy and simple, and the house-made pickles were DELICIOUS and a beautiful addition to the sandwich. (I could eat those pickles all day.) The brisket dip was packed full of flavor. The meat was smoky and crisp on the outside, tender on inside. Love the addition of pickled red onions. We also tried a few sides: mac and cheese, fries, and collard greens. YUM!! Small, intimate setting. Great drink selection! Keep up the good work, B & R, and much success!

We enjoyed dinner here - we had the fried chicken sandwich, black bean burger, and the potato skins with slaw, the earl gray old fashioned and a neurons. Everything was very tasty, and the portions were generous. The fried chicken was moist and flavorful (I had the buttermilk not the spicy options). The goat cheese contrasted nicely with the spiciness of the black bean burger. The potato skins were tasty and would have been excellent with the addition of BBQ meat. Drinks were solid. The bread and butter pickles were perfect. The only reason atmosphere gets a 4 star vs 5 is that I expect/ prefer a dark quiet whisky bar and this one probably normally fits that bill,, but there were a few ladies at the bar who were extremely loud and the room does nothing to dampen that.

Please get the Nashville fried chicken sandwich with sun dried tomatoes, blue cheese and avocado. With a side of Mac. Oh my heavens, literally the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten in my life. Service was good too. Went in when it wasn’t so busy.

We had a party of six and we all enjoyed our dinners. From the deviled egg appetizer to the wedge salad and gluten free fried chicken, everything was delicious. Will definitely come back again.

INCREDIBLE food!!! Amazing service and gluten free. My husband has celiac and he eats here all the time with no concern for cross contamination. We absolutely love eating here. The chicken is AMAZING.

This place has been on my "want to eat there" list for a while. If you like fried chicken, it should be on yours too! My Nashville hot popcorn chicken was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. I also gad a quarter bird buttermilk style... probably the juiciest & most tender fried chicken I've ever had. If I were to change anything I'd ask for 4-6 pickle chips, 2 just isn't enough.
Forrest C — Google review
Went in for a nice bite to eat, never been here before. But I don’t understand how this place is at a 4.2 star rating. The server was amazing/the atmosphere. However the food was terrible. I ordered fried chicken and Mac and cheese….why would you put crushed potato chips on top on Mac and cheese?!?! The Mac and cheese itself was horrible let alone with chip crumbs on it. The chicken was okay, but the sauce was foul! My brother got a burger which he puked out 5 min after forcing it down. Unfortunately won’t be coming back for the food!
Andrew H — Google review
What a bizarre experience we had here. The couple sitting next to us said exactly two words to eachother, faces in their phones the whole time. Came for the Nashville Hot Popcorn Chicken. What we got was the Nashville Burnt Popcorn Leftovers (see picture). Couldn't eat it, the waitress came by, looked at it and commented on how burnt it looked and went on her way. She came back to hand off our "happy-hour chicken tacos" which were composed of small unused chicken pieces and corners, bland as could be. I mentioned the Nashville Hot chicken again and she offered to re-order it for us. The second order was everything I hoped it would be, juicy, succulent, fresh (see pictures). The first order was just something leftover from earlier in the day and reheated. Really shameless. In spite of all mentioned there is a good vibe going here. If they cook you a fresh order the chicken can be really great. I would not recommend coming here, too much of a gamble. If you do come remember after they seat you and give you a menu, you have to get back up and order from the bar. Good luck.🤞🏼

I'm relatively new to the area and have been enjoying the wide range of dining options available. I was delighted to discover a regular bar that maintained its usual hours during the holiday season. This establishment is precisely what the town needed - it possesses a touch of eccentricity, a slightly dim atmosphere, an alluring quality, and an appealing sense of edginess (in a positive manner). It exudes a friendly and inviting ambiance while remaining affordable and comfortable.
Both my husband and I love this establishment! It is a vibe and honestly, the time we have been here service has been great. It is smallish so once it starts to get full it gets a little loud like most places do later in the night. If you like quiet, come earlier. I have enjoyed all my visits and so has my husband. We will keep visiting for sure!

Chill local bar with pretty epic decorations and a killer playlist. Video lottery and a few other games. Good prices. In the heart of Ashland.

What a massive disappointment for Ashland. The staff, though friendly is not attentive in the least. Never saw one person clean. One nearly completely consumed beer sat at the counter for over an hour. They do r know how to make drinks and they taste terrible. I ordered a simple neat Pendleton and was served a bottom shelf whiskey. So it was left there as were my hopes of ever returning. Waste of time and money. There is also one pool table that is NEVER shared.

Gil's is renowned for their exceptional pulled pork nachos, which are considered the best in Ashland. The outdoor seating can be a bit challenging, but the overall atmosphere and the people are fantastic. It's worth noting that during busy times, it's not advisable to call in for takeout as they may falsely claim an hour-long wait just to deter you from ordering.
Stopped in for some wings & a sandwich. I had the Brisket Bahn MI & both classic Buffalo & Habanero Orange wings. The sandwich was out of this world! The wings were good for oven baked. The orange habanero were HOT which is what i wanted. Overall a killer place to eat.

I’ve eaten here at least 3 times in the last year or so it’s been here. And every time I get it, the food looks good but it has 0 seasoning. And for people serving Mexican food, there should be lots more flavor. My friend ordered the fries platter thing basically like a dump of things you’d put on nachos, but on fries. I was expecting deliciousness. It tasted like nothing.

Bar Juillet in Ashland, Oregon is a popular spot that offers a mix of wine, French cuisine, and cocktails. Despite being new to the neighborhood, it has quickly gained popularity. The restaurant encourages family-style dining and offers a diverse menu with farm-fresh ingredients that change regularly. The cocktails are carefully crafted and the atmosphere is welcoming. Customers have praised the delicious food and outstanding service at Bar Juillet, making it a favorite spot for many visitors.
Best happy hour in Ashland period! The fried chicken is something special. I'm usually a thigh guy but these breasts are amazing. Awesome fries, $4, and $2 quality draft beers, are you kidding me?! "Chicken breasts and beer, my three favorite things."💥🙌🏼

Bar Juillet is such an Ashland gem! I love the laid back family style eating, unique wine selection, and fun atmosphere. The seasonal, local menu is always playful, fresh, and delicious. From Manila clams to summer scallops to house-made pasta, the menu keeps me excited. The cocktails never miss and the staff feels like family. Perfect place to have a luxurious meal with friends or family by the creek.
Samantha N — Google review
Brace yourself for a conflicted food review. Bar Juliet is a well-known and revered spot for locals. Historically I have enjoyed their outstanding cocktails, but find their food overhyped. I often roll my eyes and accompany friends for dinner. Indeed, if you glance at the menu, you’ll find their basic spaghetti dish listed for $36 and their house salad runs for $25. Other classic plates (steak, halibut) run at about $40, but the portion size of these dishes doesn’t match the typical fine dining restaurant. Their kitchen sort of runs on-the-fly and so you are expected to order several dishes to share, which come out at their own pace. My qualm is you end up eating like you’re at a tapas spot all the while paying full fine-dining price for each plate. Nevermind the economics lesson, let’s talk food. We started with the charcuterie board which was one of the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Lots of bold flavors and textures between the cheeses and meats. The focaccia bread was also fresh, airy, and excellent. I would actually recommend getting this even if you’re going out just for drinks. The peach-flavored old fashioned was a hit, and we also tried a potent lavender cocktail which was super unique. The main dishes we got were well-executed. The steak was a petite filet that was superbly tender accompanied by a red pepper sauce. Small portion with a light salad, but delicious. The burger was very rich and had the density of a dying sun (just look at the cross-section!). Contrary to what you may think, this is a dish to cut up and share. On this night, service was an issue—my poor friend’s main entree was forgotten. He ordered a burger for himself and we waited for the kitchen to roll it out and it just never came. I was prepared to give the place 4 stars and warn you to just go during happy hour, but will have to stop short at 3. Generally focus on the delicious cocktails and expect a few bites of good food here or there.
Steve — Google review
I did have the best gin and tonic of my life here. But everything was super salty and inexplicably had fish sauce on it. Service was excellent. Burger buns were stale. Fried chicken was weird, tasted like it marinated in soy milk?? Pasta was good. Fries aggressively average. Drinks were amazing. I wouldn’t go outside happy hour.
M G — Google review
We stumbled upon Bar Juliette on our trip through Oregon. Wow! Everyone and everything was fantastic! The staff were friendly, skilled and great to talk to. We sat outdoors on the upper porch as we had a two pups with us. Great people watching and nice breeze on a hot day. The staff was very accommodating of the pups, shared water and kisses/ pats. We arrived just as they opened and happily for Happy Hour! They have a large selection of beautiful wines on their Happy Hour menu. I enjoyed an orange and a light red, Fossil & Fawn “Do Nothing”. Yum, Yum, Yum! We enjoyed the Crudo, Melon and Prosciutto Salad, Frites, and Fried Chicken. The Crudo was Scallops on a puree of fruit with thinly sliced strawberries, oregano with a light dressing of olive oil. Light and refreshing, total hit! The melon salad was lovely, as were the fries. The star of the show was definitely the Fried Chicken. Best of my life so far. Lightly fried, super moist and flavorful and accompanied by a fennel slaw and a spicy remoulade. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Cant wait to stumble in again on our next trip!

Outstanding! We were visiting from California and went here based off of a local friend's recommendation. We eat all organic at home and try to find that when we are traveling. Everything was absolutely delicious but I must admit my favorite was the fried Chicken. It was out of this world!! So juicy and the breading was like dessert. We shared the peas, little gem salad, shrimp, burrata, fish, Chicken and steak. It was the right move to share because it was all fantastic. Our cocktails were great as well!
Sirius R — Google review
Lovely!! Food was incredible - everything tasted so good, even better than it looks if that’s possible. Food presentation was on point. We definitely over-ordered for 2, but we weren’t going to turn down leftovers! They have an expansive bottle list (few glass options though), and an amazing cocktail program. I ordered the rum & rye raisin cocktail and it tasted refreshingly fall, apple cinnamon with a rosemary twist. The fried chicken was our favorite, along with THEE salad, full of summer fruit, nut, and seeds - a unique combo that we couldn’t stop eating. All the wait staff were super friendly, the ambience was just the right balance between quiet romantic and a bustling social scene. Highly recommend and would absolutely come back for another delicious dinner!
Zoe M — Google review
Such a nice evening at this Ashland restaurant. Four of us ordered five small plates to share. The crunchy pea salad with mint was delightful as was the spicy fennel pasta. The Burrata with rhubarb and raspberry drizzled with olive oil and served with pieces of toasted focaccia was extraordinary. Mushrooms and whipped ricotta tartine- yum! The beans with asparagus and a poached egg wasn’t so flavorful and the beans were al dente. It was, however, warming on a cold evening. If you prefer beans cooked through, pass on this dish. Our waiter was delightful and funny, fantastic service. Nice minimalist interior ambiance. Small yet very nice wine list including an orange wine. Reasonable prices and good quality. Cook those beans and season a tad more for 5 stars from me! Great place for small plates and ‘good’ wine by the glass.

I was so happy that I was able to find a filipino restaurant in Ashland. I ordered their Barbeque and their Sisig sobrang sarap (Super Yummy) It’s like, it’s gonna be my comfort food all the time. I was so glad I found this restaurant. Ms. Teresita which I guess the owner was very nice to me and humble, the place is great and feels like home (Philippines) If you wanna try filipino cuisine, go and check their menus. Will surely go back and let my american husband try it with me. I was not able to take a good picture of their food because I was so excited to dig in! haha

Adorable Filipino cafe with fresh, authentic dishes! Save room for dessert, especially their homemade ice cream. We tried the lumpia (fried rolls with meat and veggies), pancit miki (saucy, thick noodles with shrimp, scallops, celery, snow peas, cabbage, and carrots), a special fried pork belly, jasmine rice on the side, calamansi iced tea, ube ice cream and cheese ice cream. Both ice creams were topped with homemade sweetened corn flakes. All of the food was delicious. We know the location in downtown Ashland is probably super expensive so the dishes are all a bit pricey for what you get - for example, the pancit miki had two small shrimp and four tiny scallops. I wish the ube ice cream didn't turn my mouth purple 🤣 The cafe itself is beautiful and the staff are all sweet, friendly and helpful. The owner herself visited all guests as well.

GOOD VIBES! MUST VISIT! Ordered the Kare Kare, Chicken Adobo and Lumpia. All Yummy. Tasty, authentic, humble and approachable place to experience. Great ambiance with bold Filipino flavors and friendly service. Excellent execution and representation of Filipino food, refreshing to support and discover Filipino when done right with intention, Ashland is lucky to have Harana. Overall the restaurant delivers on design, food and service. Bonus shout out to playlist selection; w/ the soulful Filipino melodies and hiphop bringing everything together. Will visit again! Thank you Family! Fyi, Harana means to serenade in Tagalog. It all makes sense now.

We had an incredible experience at Harana! The meal made me feel like I was sitting in their kitchen enjoying a comfort food meal with my family. Their menu is small making it easy to choose but I'll tell you this you can't go wrong with anything. We tried almost everything on the menu and while we enjoyed every bite my favorite dishes were the Pork Belly and the Beef Mami that was almost like a beef noodle stew. Their Lumpia was exceptional as well. They do serve cocktails which my friends enjoyed but I really enjoyed their non alcohol Calamansi Lemonade. I can't wait to take back my family because I know they will be craving it as much as I do.

I was so impressed with this Filipino restaurant. All of the food was delicious, approachable, had depth, and an attention to details. Delicious pickled veggies on the side? Done in house. Not just crisp and tasty lumpia but a tangy lumpia sauce that pops in your mouth? Done in house. Oh, even the Frosted Flakes on the ice cream seem to have superior texture and flavor? Why those are candied in house too. Even if the food wasn’t as good as it was I would support this sweet mother son duo who gave us the best service. Visit Harana!
Miriam C — Google review
Small, cozy, intimate. And, a perfectly crafted menu. A limited menu means you’re getting the greatest hits of Filipino cuisine made with incredible skill. You really can’t miss with anything you order but in our opinion, you’ve got to get the lumpia (duh), and the beef mami. Additional shout out to the Kare-Kare for a light and lovely peanut sauce and the best pickled mushrooms we’ve ever had.

(2 years ago) Wonderful intimate place. Nice wines and tasty small suppers / appetitzers. Good place for conversation. Definitely will visit again when down from Seattle. Came by again in November 2016 while in Ashland, we always drop by for dinner or something lighter. Always pleased. Small place, so I would recommend a reservation if on a schedule. My latest try, Steak tar-tar and a Rhubarb & Whisky was great.

This is seriously one of the best restaurants I have tried in years. Everything was perfect. Had the Tempernero flight of three for $17 and a NY Strip cooked to perfection. Make sure you get the beussel sprouts browned and smoky with a salted bacon and lemon flavor, which was simply amazing. The Strawberries and Cream was off the hook too. So glad I came!

Outstanding Cocktails, Came in here on Halloween with friends and family, the place was crowded, the bartender came to the entryway and showed us to the room in back, no one else was there it felt like our private dining area. Having been a bartender myself i will say that his cocktails were perfect. Its been a long time since i had a real pisco sour, not to mention the rest of the eclectic drinks he brought us. We'll be back for round II around christmas time.

I love the ambience of Liquid Assets as well as the Hot Toddy I ordered. However, the cheese plate at HH price of $14 was good but a very small offering. The entree I ordered was the ribs w/ mac. Very disappointing as there was maybe 1 teaspoon of shredded ribs w/ the Mac & cheese. The cost $18! If I ever come back I would not eat at all - just have a cocktail during HH!

I'm sorry but I can't recommend this place, and I really want to. The wines they serve are old not "aged" and past their prime. Some bottles were clearly corked but still in the tasting, and returned to the tasting lineup after I mentioned they were. The staff was very new and knew little to nothing about wine, mispronounced simple terms, and just didn't know what to do or handle questions. The place was nice but cramped, and just didn't feel like a winery. The antipasti plate was great though, and would've been perfect if the wines were good. With so many great wines/wineries around skip this place.

The area is known for its lush greenery, pristine beaches, and crystal-clear waters, providing ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. Tabu also boasts a rich cultural heritage, with traditional villages and historical sites waiting to be explored.
The food was overpriced and mediocre. The service was very slow. I wouldn't recommend it since there are several other good options close by.

Skout Taphouse & Provisions offers a unique dining experience where you order from a central counter and wait for your food to be delivered. While some dishes like the Dirty fries and beer cheese were too salty, the smash burger and beef brisket sandwich received high praise. The outdoor seating by the creek side provides a lovely atmosphere to enjoy their extensive drink selection, including beer, cocktails, and nonalcoholic options.
3/11/25 Everything we ordered was delicious, and with so many options on the menu, there’s bound to be something for everyone. The giant pretzel is no joke—the waitress warned us about the size, but we were still shocked when it arrived! It’s definitely big enough to share among a group of friends. Skout has a beautiful location right across from Lithia Park, with plenty of outdoor seating. Parking can be tricky since it’s limited in the area, but it’s worth the short walk, especially with all the great shops to explore nearby.

Had a great smash burger! My wife had an awesome prime rib sandwich. We sat outside. The atmosphere was great. Skout Taphouse is pet friendly. We took our two dogs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Skout Taphouse!

Delicious food in a beautiful location! We split an Albacore Affair and the Brisket sandwich and they were amazing. The bread was deliciously toasted the albacore was fresh and outstanding. The s’mores dessert was on a different level of delicious.

Really cool location next to Lithia Park excellent atmosphere inside. The customer service was great. The venue is pretty awesome with some nice outdoor seating available. It would definitely return. A huge selection beers on tap. I ordered the brisket sandwich and my lady ordered the daily special which was the garlic chicken burrito or the vampire burrito. As far as the food, a little more to be expected and desired, the brisket was OK. The vampire burrito lacked a decent amount of chicken and there was no avocado on it as stated so there is room for a little improvement on the food side otherwise a really wonderful experience.

Lobster Sandwich was too good, both bread and meat, perfect combination of crisp and softness. Veg Taco - not good Fish (cod) and chips - Average

We were first time visitors with our relatives from Ashland and got introduced to Skout. In short: great variety of IPAs, great food (we had tacos and brisket), waiting time was perfect for food delivery at table. We loved the outside space / seating right next to a creek. If you want to digest a possible carb heavy meal there is Lythia park right across the street, so you can combine it with a walk in the park afterwards. Will visit again, Cheers from Germany!

This is a great place to visit in the Ashland plaza! You’re right across from Lithia park with lots of great features. The food here is always great and they have new things to try pretty often! Their tap list is large and their in house cocktails are great every time. It’s a popular spot so during the busy times (lunch and dinner) there may be a bit of a wait but it’s never been too bad at all. The seating right along the creek is wonderful on a hot day under the umbrellas with a little breeze off the water. Staff are always friendly and happy to answer questions and make suggestions.

Skout has a fantastic location and the atmosphere is really great. It's a popular spot near Lithia Park with a large and impressive selection of adult beverages. It's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a place to grab a drink and hang out. My experience with the food was a mixed bag, though. The garlic truffle shoestring fries were absolutely delicious and the highlight of the meal. However, I would pass on the fry sauce and the smash burger was a bit disappointing. The patty was cooked well but was pretty bland, and the potato bun was a letdown. It was firm and tasted a bit stale, and it seemed like it hadn't been toasted at all, which made the burger feel pretty uninspired and dry, especially with no sauce. Overall, it's a solid place for a drink and the fries, but if you're specifically craving a great burger, you might want to consider ordering a different menu item or heading somewhere else. Parking in this area is a real challenge, so keep that in mind.

O'Ryans Irish Pub, a genuine dive bar in downtown Ashland, promises a nostalgic atmosphere. With an array of Guinness and Harp on tap, this establishment is ideal for those seeking a blast from the past. The abundance of Jameson's further caters to whiskey enthusiasts. For entertainment, patrons can enjoy pool tables at an affordable price of 75 cents per game and engage in foosball with three keepers instead of one.
I love the young people here, very respectful and super welcoming. The bartender on Wednesday nights is just the sweetest young man around, I feel welcome every time I come to Ashland. I've never tried the food, I bet it's as good as the service, though!

We had a great time at this bar. As four young women, we felt safe and the bouncers/bartenders were great! They had an awesome DJ and the place was really clean! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

I love going here for a beer and a Lil video poker; the only food I ate there was the Papa Murphys that they heat up and serve hot, and it was fine. Great place to have to have fun, and very friendly staff.
Mark A — Google review
My favorite place to get a good beer, play pool and old school Pac-Man/Frogger games. Bartenders are super friendly and the clientele are awesome. One guy comes in with his beautiful pitbull and another with his African macaw parrot. Very very fun place.

O'Ryans Irish Pub in Ashland, Oregon offers a welcoming and enjoyable experience. The friendly bartenders are always happy to chat and serve up delicious drinks at reasonable prices. The pub features pool tables and slot machines, providing plenty of entertainment for patrons. With its comfortable atmosphere and generous pours, O'Ryans is a great spot to unwind and have a good time.

This was the definition of local bar. Within walking distance. The bartender was helpful, nice, and helped give us some recommendations for dinner. Great for drinks, limited menu.

A real dive bar/Irish pub in downtown Ashland?!😱 Great blast-from-the-past! Guinness and Harp on tap (Always). Sooo much Jameson's in here. Pool tables for 75 cents. They have foosball too but it's the kind with three keepers not one. Nothing fancy or boutique here folks. They can cook you a Papa Murphy's pizza though while you watch a game and chat with your mates over a Guinness. 👍🏼 BTW, the gal bartending was awesome!

If you like Jameson, this place is for you. Bring cash for pool and juke box.

The Trapdoor Bar & Grill in Ashland is a remarkable establishment that has risen from the ashes of the old vinyl club. It boasts a fantastic ambiance and seating arrangement, with a lower ceiling that adds a touch of classic speak-easy charm. The venue features contemporary design and a modern look, complemented by an impressive staff and ambitious ownership. The bar offers delicious craft cocktails and an extensive selection of high-quality spirits.
Cute little alley way bar. Went for Sapphic night with dj tuffshed. Amazing vibe, sweet bartenders. Felt like an old school gay bar for the night. Highly recommend, Especially gay/lgbtq events <3

The place was completely empty at 10:30pm on a Saturday, however the DJ was fun and played whatever we wanted to hear. The bartender was okay at first but tried pushing a drink on me that I didn’t order which made me a little uncomfortable as a young woman. I declined and pushed it away multiple times and continued dancing to the awesome DJ’s music. The DJ would get 5 stars from me!

Love a vintage feeling, semi underground, hole in the wall club. There's a vending machine that gives out art and trinkets from local artists. It's amazing :)
Ella T — Google review
I was a regular before the new owner, I used to love trap, I’ve spent thousands of dollars over the years but, the vibes of the bar have gotten really boring since the new owner has taken over. it was my first time in there since the ownership. The bright paint that caught your eye on the doors, has been covered up with a dull gray. A skeeball machine and pool table that people huddled around all night have been replaced with empty couches. There’s nothing to do in there now. Drink prices increases significantly, and old staff was fired and replaced. Don’t think I’ll go back anytime soon
Devin — Google review
Added a 20% service charge without telling me and then gave me a ticket that had a line to add an additional tip. Super shady to add gratuity without telling your customers. I always tip 20% but I'm not cool with tipping 40% which would've happened if I hadn't asked to see my itemized receipt
Matt L — Google review
Delicious food, unique drinks, great prices, fun arcade games and friendly staff; what’s not to love? We will be going back frequently and highly recommend you give this place a try!

This is a nice quiet hideaway with great cocktails & yummy street tacos. Ron is the bartender & provides excellent service all around. They should call it Secret Door as discreetly located as it is.... Lol.
