Bayside Marketplace is definitely one of the must-visit spots in Miami! The location is beautiful, right by the water, and it offers a great mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment all in one place. The atmosphere is lively and full of energy, with music, boat tours, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view. It’s especially nice in the evening when the lights come on and the waterfront feels even more vibrant. The variety of shops is impressive – from well-known brands to unique local stalls where you can find souvenirs and gifts. The food options are also great, ranging from quick bites to sit-down restaurants with amazing views of the marina. A boat tour from here is highly recommended, since it’s convenient and gives you a wonderful perspective of Miami. That being said, it can get very crowded, especially on weekends, and parking isn’t the easiest, so planning ahead is a good idea. Some of the restaurants are on the pricier side, and like any touristy area, you’ll find that not everything offers the best value. But overall, the experience makes up for it, and the vibe is worth it. Tip: If you want a more relaxed experience, visit earlier in the day or on weekdays. For the best photos, sunset is absolutely perfect with the skyline in the background. In short, Bayside Marketplace is an iconic Miami spot that captures the city’s lively spirit. Despite a few downsides like crowds and parking, it’s still a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting Miami for a true taste of the city’s energy and waterfront beauty.

Spent my birthday at Bayside Marketplace on a Saturday and had the best time. They had live music on the water, plenty of shops and restaurants to experience. I highly recommend a visit. Its a 2 story outside shopping complex with all kinds of name brand stores to shop at.

Cute area to kill some time. Had a bite to eat at Tasca Paella Bar & Grill. Food was just okay and pricey. Would not recommend. Also, had Gelato from Scoops angling very pricey but delicious and presented nicely. As for the shops...they were okay. Huge candy store, they had some interesting treats. If you have a sweet tooth, a must!

Museum
The Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science, also known as Frost Science, is a captivating facility in Miami that offers interactive exhibits on weather, technology, and the natural world. With a three-level aquarium featuring sharks and stingrays, a dome-screened planetarium, and hands-on activities for kids of all ages, it's both entertaining and educational. The museum is located in Museum Park alongside other attractions like the Perez Art Museum and the Dogs and Cats Walkway and Sculpture Gardens.
We had such a wonderful time here! It’s the perfect spot for families—especially with kids. The museum is full of exciting things to explore, from stunning aquariums with all kinds of fish to hands-on science exhibits about light, planets, and more. Everything is designed to be interactive and kid-friendly. Our little one loved playing games, touching displays, and running around the spacious areas. We spent about 2–3 hours there, and the excitement never faded. The dome-shaped theater was a highlight—super impressive! The science film was a bit complex, but the immersive viewing experience made it totally worth it. Highly recommend for a fun, educational day out with the family!

The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science offers a stunning blend of science, technology, and marine life. The planetarium shows are captivating, and the aquarium is beautifully designed, offering close-up views of fascinating sea creatures. Exhibits are interactive and educational—great for kids and adults alike. Some sections felt a bit crowded, and a few displays could use updates, but overall the experience was engaging and well worth the visit. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean and modern. It’s a fantastic way to spend a few hours learning and exploring in downtown Miami.

I honestly found this museum okay - nothing spectacular but there were some parts that I liked. For example, their aquariums were amazing and it was fun to see the different types of fish/aquatic animals. The AI exhibit was interesting and you got to learn the history and power of Artificial Intelligence and I enjoyed the interactive elements. However, in general, the science presented at the museum was a little boring and focused a lot on sustainability/environmental science and astronomy, which is fine but I was hoping for a more diverse science experience. For example, I was hoping that they would incorporate more chemistry, physics and biology subjects that are interactive as a lot of people are visual/hands-on learners. Although there were a couple of immersive pieces, some of them weren’t working and I’ve been to more interactive science museums . Also, the museum looks huge on the outside but we were able to finish it in 3-4 hours (if you take your time). Overall, I appreciate the experience but would probably not go back again.

I went to the Frost Museum with my friend, and it was a wonderful visit! The museum is well-maintained, large enough to explore but still a manageable size. Definitely recommended for families with kids because it’s very interactive and really can teach and entertain kids at the same time. There are plenty of installations for people to explore. For example, in the Feathers to the Stars gallery, which introduces everything that can fly (dinosaurs, air planes, spacecrafts, …), you can make your paper airplane and test it using their setup to see how it flies or spins in the air. Paper and instruction are provided. Another one I like is a video game that shows how a spacecraft works. You play as the pilot and try to land on the moon. It’s an easy game but it tells you how many steps it takes for a spacecraft to travel to the moon and return. I never knew it had to orbit around the Earth first and should discard most of its shells. Anyways, it’s a great place to learn and have fun. The giftshop and the aquarium are good too! You can sit beneath a huge window and watch whales and sharks glide above you.

We made the mistake of going too late. I definitely recommend going at 10:00am and taking your time. The museum is interactive, with a live working coral lab to a fossil lab and the scientist are more than happy to answer questions. There is also a planetarium They show 3 shows, they are about 25 minutes long, at 1:30 they have a live show and at 3:00pm is a laser show (you ay $5.00 for those tickets. It is visually stunning and the views from the observation deck are beautiful. There is lovely plants all over the deck and the extra big binoculars so you can see distances like the cruise ships. There are a lot of interactive activities up here. The following level under has the labs i previously mentions and if you look over the railing you can see the largest tank in the aquarium. On the next door is ways to experience Floridas river of life and veiw the aquarium from above and the outdoors. The following level is the aquarium indoor there is a ton of interactive activities in this area. You are surrounded by beautiful see life on the other side is a space exhibit. The following level is more aquarium, the planetarium, I missed one exhibit but it is the baptist health (Ill be returning to take my time) and at the moment currently they have a Leonardo DaVinci exhibit. I cant recommend this place enough, it is stunning and well done. I dont live in miami but grew up there my parents still live there so I look forward to going back

Visiting the Frost Museum of Science in Miami was such an inspiring and fun experience. The building itself is modern and impressive, with different areas to explore: a huge aquarium, interactive science exhibits, and a state of the art planetarium. One of my favorite parts was the aquarium it’s multi level and designed to resemble real ecosystems, so you feel like you’re really discovering parts of the ocean. The planetarium is also amazing: with high-definition projection and immersive sound, the shows are both educational and magical. There are plenty of interactive galleries, too, covering topics like biology, physics, and technology. It’s a really dynamic place for both kids and adults to learn while having fun. Ticket prices (for the “Explorer Ticket,” which includes the exhibits, the aquarium, and one planetarium show): Monday–Thursday: Adults: US$ 29.95 Kids (ages 4–11): US$ 22.95 Children 3 and under: Free Friday–Sunday (and some peak periods): Adults: US$ 32.95–37.95 Kids (ages 4–11): US$ 24.95–26.95 The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe encourages curiosity and discovery. It’s not just a museum, it feels like a playground for science lovers, the Frost Museum of Science is a must visit in Miami, especially if you’re into science, nature, or just want to spend a day exploring something amazing. The ticket price is totally worth it for the variety of experiences you get.

This is hands down one of my favorite museums in Miami. With six different levels to explore—including an impressive Aquarium, an immersive Planetarium, and the fascinating Power of Science Exhibit—it’s a place that sparks wonder at every turn. The Planetarium show made me understand and become more conscious about pollution and global warming. The Aquarium, on the other hand, completely stole my heart—I could’ve spent hours mesmerized by the marine life. And to top it all off, the views from the terrace were absolutely picture-perfect. I visited to celebrate an anniversary, and it could not have been a better choice. Frost Science truly delivered an unforgettable experience. 🌍✨🐠

I’ve been here a few times and I think it’s a great place for children of all ages and adults. My favorite part of the museum is the aquarium. It’s so relaxing just watching the fish, sharks and string rays swim by. The other animals such as the birds, jellyfishes and seahorses were also amazing to see. I do think that some of the things should be improved, such as the wet lab and the planetarium shows. They’re not really entertaining for children. The interactive activity where you see the shark’s point of view was also broken during my visit. This time around, the Smurf’s characters were present promoting their new movie. At first, I did not see the correlation between the Smurf and physics lesson provided but the children enjoyed the dance party afterwards. Although, I must say that the staff providing the physics lesson was very knowledgeable and entertaining. They also provided Smurfs coloring pages, puzzles, crayons and temporary tattoos for the children to enjoy. As for the food, it is a bit overpriced but it was quite decent. I would definitely eat there again. I will also continue to come back to this museum as it’s fun and they keep changing some of the exhibits so there is always something new to see.

Crandon Park, situated on Key Biscayne, is a popular island park featuring a protected beach and various recreational facilities. The park's Crandon Park Beach offers crystal-clear waters and an offshore sandbar for sunbathing. Visitors can enjoy eco-tours, picnic areas, and concession stands. Additionally, the Family Amusement Center features a restored carousel and beachfront playground.
Beautiful beach, this is my 3rd time coming here. Nice clean sand. Beautiful coconut trees. We went snorkeling off the beach in the grass beds and saw lots of fish. My daughters found big conch shells and a sea urchin shell. You can order food and rent beach chairs with umbrellas but there’s lots of nice spots in the shade. We went at low tide so there was lots of seaweed and it was a bit smelly. But the water was clear and we had a nice time watching the pelicans diving for fish. Nice clean bathrooms and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand.

Beautiful beach. Very Caribbean. Palm trees and a lot of green. Unfortunately There were too many algae in decomposed and the smell wasn’t great. Also the water had a lot of sulfur and turn all our silver jewelry black

My favorite beach in Miami so far. So much space and not crowded whatsoever. The parking lot is ticketed so be sure to pay on the app before you walk to the beach. Super easy to get to from Brickell / Downtown. Mostly locals and chill vibes. There is some seaweed and the water is not perfectly clear, but the water is warm and still enjoyable. If you want to hit a bar on the way home on a weekday, check The Wetlab at UMiami’s marine biology campus on the way back from Key Biscayne. Even on weekends, there are a lot of places to post up. If you don’t want to (pay for/bring) an umbrella, there are trees with shady spots.

beautiful, clean, safe park and beach. I love this place. I snorkel on the seagrass beds a lot and there are always many fish to see, including small colorful reef fish. plenty of parking, $11 for a whole day ($8 per day weekdays). huge picnic area with trees, promenade, wide white sand beach with palm trees, snack bar, watercraft rentals. Paths around a small park that used to be a zoo, lots of wild birds and reptiles there now. bike lanes all the way there from the mainland. several miles of walking paths through a hammock forest and to a boardwalk overlooking the bay.

Clean up your beaches! I’ve been here several times over the past decade. The beach has always been my go to place to spend a couple of hours in the sun. It’s great to watch the sunrise too. You can see Miami Beach South Beach from here. BUT: Like others, this beach has become a dumpster. I collected the things on my picture within 3 minutes(!) right where I wanted to lay my blanket. Within the next hour I collected several hands full of thrash from the sand around it. Seriously disgusting! And having to spend $7 on parking makes me think if I will ever return. SAD!

Krandon Park in Key Biscayne is a hidden gem! This beautiful park offers stunning views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing day outdoors. The park has plenty of picnic areas, walking trails, and a playground for kids, so it's great for families or couples looking for a peaceful spot to unwind. I loved watching the sunset over the water and spotting some of the local wildlife. The park is well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it a great spot to spend an afternoon. Overall, Krandon Park is a must-visit destination in Key Biscayne!

The beaches here are absolutely beautiful — clean, spacious, and perfect for swimming or just soaking up the sun. One of the best parts is how easy it is to park. There's plenty of parking available for just $10 a day, which you can conveniently pay through a phone app or at the park office (if you can find it — signage could be better). The park also has lots of designated areas for cookouts, making it a great spot for family gatherings or casual barbecues with friends.

Jaguar Sun is a trendy spot known for its diverse cocktail selection, pasta dishes, and small plates served in a cozy and minimalist setting. After relocating to its original space with a revamped dining room and new outdoor seating, the restaurant has gained popularity for its cult-favorite Parker House rolls with honey butter and delicious bucatini cacio e pepe.
AMAZING! This place has it all. My husband and I went for dinner on a Thursday night and were able to snag a table by the bar, which is first come, first serve. From the delicious, out-of-this-world food, to the great & fast service by our outstanding server, Gabby. She made the experience that much more memorable by giving us her personalized recommendations and checking up on us often. The cocktails we had were all perfectly balanced and tasty (the high horse, sleepwalker, Top Hat, & Wolf Whistle). For food we tried the Parker house rolls (the honey butter was to die for), the wagyu carpaccio, Caesar salad, Arngolotti pasta, and the Tagliatelle pasta). Everything was like nothing we’ve had before and highly recommend everything on the menu. We will definitely be returning and mainly just for the Arngolotti and rolls!

This place is hidden but once we found it, it was a good lil vibe! The service was top notch, everyone was very nice and attentive. The drinks were great - we tried the happy hour drinks moscow mule and margarita. then we had to try the wolf whistle which is like an espresso martini. For food my boyfriend went for the oysters which were on happy hour and said they were fresh and delicious. The bread was fire and the Cavatelli pasta was decent, a little spicy for my liking!
Natalie E — Google review
Jaguar sun is one of my favorite happy hour spots especially for their oysters. Super cool, trendy, moody atmosphere perfect for a date night, ladies night, or intimate gathering. This time we sat at the bar and had exceptional service from all of the bartenders. There was never a point where any of us had an empty glass for more than a minute or two. As for the food… you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. One of my favorite apps is the Wagu carpaccio and we always have to get their oysters. Goes without saying, but don’t forget to try one of their Michelin awarded cocktails! (Not pictured) The living dead cocktail made me understand how truly deserving this award truly is. Definitely make a reservation or try to arrive early as the bar tends to fill up fast and walk ins aren’t always welcome.

Really is worth the hype! The staff is very attentive and of course the food is delicious. We ordered 2 rounds of the crab and corn agnolotti pasta because it was soooo good. Foie gras dessert was also amazing, and the wagyu beef carpaccio

This lovely little spot had been on my list for a while now. We swung by for date night and I was pleasantly surprised! The menu isn’t very extensive, but I can honestly say we enjoyed every single plate we ordered. The drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is moody, but well decorated. The service was immaculate and extremely quick. All our plates/drinks came out minutes upon placing the order. The only comment I have would be the quantity of the main entree. Overall, I’d rate it a 4-stars! Considering the amount we ordered, the price point wasn’t too bad either!

I had dinner at Jaguar Sun during my recent trip to Miami. It was nothing short of a 5 star experience. The staff were amazing. The atmosphere was incredible. The food and drinks were delicious. I ordered the Spicy Rigatoni and the Sebastian, which were both absolutely amazing. The rest of the items were 'on the house' (and still delicious). I loved my experience here and look forward to returning if I visit Miami again.
Christina N — Google review
Very interesting place to say the least. It doesn’t look much from the outside, you will hardly notice it here. There is only seating inside and I found it obnoxiously loud. The bar area is cool, the ambiance is unique. They call it a pasta place but the pastas didn’t blew our minds. The portions were very small. We are happy we tried it, it was on our list when we looked into the photos and how the atmosphere was. But it was a let down and it is not a place I will return again. The staff was lovely tho.
Derin Ç — Google review
A good experience overall. Great for groups to share pastas as the portions are reasonable. The tagliatelle was good but my personal favorites were the agnolotti and Maltagliati

Wynwood Walls is a vibrant outdoor destination showcasing large, colorful street murals created by artists from all over the world. Spanning between Northeast 25th and 26th Streets on Northwest 2nd Avenue, this innovative enclave features modern urban artwork that represents a diverse range of graffiti and street art styles. Over 50 renowned and emerging artists have converted 80,000 square feet of warehouse walls into an open-air museum, making it a must-see spot for photography enthusiasts.
During my business trip, I visited Wynwood Walls and was absolutely amazed. Every mural felt alive with creativity and meaning — it’s not just street art, it’s art that makes you think and feel. The atmosphere is vibrant, inspiring, and unforgettable. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying $150 in souvenirs to take a piece of the experience home with me. If you’re in Miami, Wynwood Walls is a must-see. I highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates art, culture, and a place that leaves you inspired.

The Wynwood Art District tour was incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and kept everyone engaged the whole time. They answered every question and gave great insight into all the art around the district. Walking through, everything was so clean, and the people we met were just as welcoming. Inside the art district itself, it was beautiful to see the history and creativity come alive. Truly an amazing experience; I learned so much and can’t wait to come back!

The Allure of Miami's Wynwood Walls The Wynwood Walls is a vibrant, world-renowned outdoor street art museum that has transformed a former warehouse district into a massive canvas for global creativity. Its primary appeal lies in its ever-evolving collection of large-scale murals by some of the world's most talented artists, including icons like Shepard Fairey and Eduardo Kobra. This dynamic art district offers a spectacular visual symphony, showcasing diverse styles from politically charged statements to whimsical, colorful designs. It champions street art as a legitimate, accessible, and powerful art form, revitalizing the neighborhood and drawing millions of visitors annually. It's an essential cultural hub, offering a unique, immersive, and highly photogenic experience that perfectly captures Miami's eclectic spirit. The area buzzes with galleries, trendy bars, and unique shops, making it a complete cultural destination.

Wynwood Walls was an amazing place to visit. My wife loves art and I understand it a bit. The art was Wynwood Walls was amazing. Ricardo was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, kind and went at the pace we wanted as we took pictures and enjoyed the art. After our tour Ricardo was our host for the freestyle painting event. He did a great job breaking down each step in how to create a “masterpiece”. Our artist experience with CPWON was also an amazing experience. He spent time teaching and helping each of us get the most out of our spray art talent. Finally, we took the buggy ride through Wynwood and saw so many wonderful pieces of art in so many fantastic styles. Jeronimo was our guide/driver and did an amazing job getting us to so many pieces of art and telling us about various pieces we’re created and pointed out some of his own really cool work along the way. I highly recommend Wynwood Walls! It’s not a museum as you might think. The work and creativity on display is out of this world. What talent.

Wynwood is an absolute must-visit when you're in Miami! This neighborhood is a vibrant explosion of art, culture, and incredible energy. The street art, especially at the Wynwood Walls, is breathtaking and constantly evolving – every corner offers a new visual feast. Beyond the art, the area boasts an amazing array of unique boutiques, cool galleries, and some of the best restaurants and bars in the city. Whether you're looking for a leisurely afternoon exploring murals, a delicious meal, or a lively night out, Wynwood has it all. Prepare to be inspired!"

Great assortment of murals (visited 23,skipped 24 so there was about 80-90% maybe different to my recollection) Loved the subway car, amongst other things, especially the punched glass portraits in its windows Shame the big galley of Americana type items wasn’t open or the street art area (always feel like you kind of missed something then in anywhere you’ve made a trip especially out to/paid to enter) Some augmented reality pieces you can interact with via the phone camera Worth walking the blocks around also to see what’s on the streets adjacent, also nice variety of food/ drinks nearby which collectively means a visit is a morning or afternoon out on a nice sunny day

Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is a leading art museum located in the Downtown Arts District near Edgewater and Wynwood. The museum's striking architecture, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, offers a unique experience with its vertical gardens suspended from the canopy's overhang. Inspired by the Stiltsville homes of the 1930s, PAMM overlooks Biscayne Bay and features a permanent collection of modern and contemporary international artwork.
The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is one of the best cultural attractions in the city, offering a stunning collection of contemporary and modern art in a beautiful waterfront location. The architecture of the building itself is a work of art, with open spaces, hanging gardens, and panoramic views of Biscayne Bay. Inside, the galleries feature rotating exhibitions and permanent collections that highlight artists from around the world, with a strong focus on Latin American and Caribbean art. It’s the perfect place to spend a few hours exploring, reflecting, and enjoying Miami’s vibrant art scene. A highlight of the visit is the fantastic on-site café, which offers fresh, delicious food with both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the water. It’s the perfect spot to take a break during your museum visit. The staff and volunteers at PAMM are also exceptional – very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The Pérez Art Museum Miami is an absolute gem for families looking for a culturally enriching and enjoyable outing in Miami! We recently visited, and it was a fantastic experience for everyone, from the littlest ones to the adults. What truly sets PAMM apart for families is its ability to make contemporary art accessible and engaging for all ages. While it's not a "hands-on children's museum" in the traditional sense, the thought-provoking and often vibrant exhibits, which frequently incorporate light, sound, and video, really capture kids' imaginations. We found ourselves having fascinating discussions with our children about the various pieces, which was a wonderful way to encourage their critical thinking and appreciation for different forms of expression. The museum's layout is manageable, preventing overwhelm, and there's a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor spaces that kids absolutely love. The outdoor sculpture garden, which some kids lovingly call the "sand bar," is a huge hit. It's a spacious area where children can run, play, and even interact with some of the art in a more relaxed setting, all while enjoying stunning views of Biscayne Bay. It's the perfect spot for them to burn off some energy after exploring the galleries.

This is a very beautiful newer museum on an extraordinarily attractive piece of land between the downtown skyline and the water It’s got a lot of exhibition space. The permanent collections upstairs are relatively small, and the rotating exhibits throughout the building are a larger percentage of the overall space. I took a whole bunch of photos of the exhibits to give you a sense of what you might see when you come here. The number of modern and contemporary big names is pretty small and there’s lots of emerging and new artists. So if that is what you’re hunting for, you’ll find that here in spades. If you’re expecting a lot of “early “modern from 1890 through 1950, you won’t find much —all depends on what you want

A beautiful and modern museum with a great variety of contemporary art. Perfect for a cultural and relaxing day. The architecture and views of the bay are stunning. It’s a great place to visit with family or friends and also has a nice café and gift shop. Highly recommended for art lovers!

Enjoyed my visit at the museum today. On a rainy & wet day, the one parking garage was full! 2nd Saturdays are 🆓 so the museum was extremely crowded. I decided to participate in a tour and it was enjoyable. The museum tour guide was very informative and passionate about art. The museum grounds are nice as well. The bathrooms were clean, that is a big plus.

We had an exceptional time at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. The architecture is stunning, right on Biscayne Bay, with beautiful outdoor spaces. The museum offers a perfect mix of vibrant, colorful art and thought-provoking works exploring diverse cultures. It’s also great to relax with a coffee at the in-house café while enjoying the view. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Miami!

Stunning museum! Absolutely love the range and choices of the collection. Lots of moving pieces to ponder. The staff is super nice. The terrace is gorgeous with a great view and swings (even though I got eaten so badly by mosquitoes lol), the gift shop is amazing!! I stopped by for a quick visit but can't wait to go back.

A Gem on Biscayne Bay: A Glowing Review of the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is more than just a museum; it's a vibrant cultural hub that truly embodies the spirit of Miami. From its stunning architecture to its thoughtful programming, PAMM offers an exceptional experience for art lovers of all ages and backgrounds. One of the most impressive aspects of PAMM is its dedication to international art. The rotating exhibitions consistently bring diverse voices and perspectives from around the globe to Miami, with a commendable emphasis on Latin American, Caribbean, and African diaspora artists. This focus not only reflects Miami's rich cultural tapestry but also enriches visitors' understanding of contemporary art within a global context. Each visit promises new discoveries and thought-provoking encounters with groundbreaking works. Beyond the art itself, PAMM excels in its bilingual and inclusive approach. Navigating the museum is seamless for both English and Spanish speakers, with clear signage and information provided in both languages. This commitment to accessibility extends to their programs and educational initiatives, ensuring that a wider audience can engage deeply with the art. It truly feels like a space where everyone is welcome and represented. Speaking of inclusivity, PAMM shines as a child-friendly destination. It's not just a place where kids are tolerated; they are actively engaged and encouraged to interact with art. From "PAMM Free Second Saturdays" with hands-on activities to "Art Storytime" for the youngest visitors, the museum provides tailored experiences that spark curiosity and creativity. The spacious galleries allow for comfortable exploration, and the outdoor areas with their lush hanging gardens provide a wonderful space for families to relax and play. It's truly a place where multi-generational families can learn and grow together. In essence, the Pérez Art Museum Miami is a triumph. Its breathtaking waterfront location, innovative architecture, and commitment to presenting global art in a welcoming and inclusive environment make it a must-visit. HistoryMiami Museum, a Smithsonian affiliate, is an educational center that delves into Miami's diverse history through archives, exhibits, and area tours. Established in 1940, it is the largest history museum in Florida and features four permanent galleries along with rotating exhibits. The museum also houses an Archives and Research Center, the South Florida Folklife Center, and offers City Tours.
This is a great museum! I had no idea that it existed (I'm a Miami native), but I'm so glad I know about it now. My Mom and I visited today, and had a really good time. The exhibits are displayed nicely, and there's ample room to move around. It took us about an hour to go through both the north and south buildings. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Bring your student ID for free/discounted entry! This was such a lovely surprise. We were in the area and decided to stop in and realized belatedly that we should’ve added it to our itinerary. Their hours of operation is rather limited so we couldn’t view the entire museum but the little that we saw was well worth it. You could easily spend the whole day here and it wouldn’t be enough. I really enjoyed it and the staff were so knowledgeable and kind. They had some interactive activities that we were struggling with, and they were very helpful. Definitely a must if you’re in the area! (Sort of unrelated but I got chased by an unhoused/homeless person on my way there 😂).

If you like history museums, and this will be a good match for you. There is quite a lot about the Native Americans, who lived here originally as well as real estate development. There’s two different buildings to take a look at so there’s lots and lots of content.

I was able to score free tickets through the library and took my mom to History Miami. She isn’t usually a fan of museums but she really enjoyed this one. I also found it very interesting. It has great pictures and artifacts about Miami and its development. As a born and raised Miami girl I really enjoyed seeing the pictures of Miami throughout the years throughout the museum. The museum is comprised of two buildings with a lot of stairs in both. They do have elevators too. But worth noting for people with mobility issues. One building houses the history of Miami that’s displayed chronologically. The other building houses exhibits and special artifacts. The exhibit we got to see was one on the evolution of swimwear. It was fascinating if you’re into fashion. All in all, this is a great activity to do on a rainy day or a slower day. We took about 2 hours to finish the whole museum.

Informative museum. Covers the diverse and rich history of Miami. The museum touches basis on various cultural groups throughout time which was very interesting to read about. The museum also has a section which covers the Seminole tribes history in early Miami.

I came for the Waves of Style exhibition opening and it was great. They had places where you can snap photos with Waves of Style props and individuals dressed in the theme. In the lobby area, there was also a DJ and an open bar. The drinks were traditional open bar drinks but they were good. I toured the museum, including the Waves of Style exhibition, and I loved it. It was interesting to see history of swimwear through the Miami’s perspective. It was also neat to see what Miami looks like through the artist’s perspective. I also loved how they had a section where you can sit down and design your own bathing suit on paper with different type of prints and all material needed. It was simple yet fun to do. Towards the end of the night they served hors d’ Oeuvres and they were all tasty. This was definitely something different to do in Miami. I absolutely enjoyed it.

A really nice museum that does a great job preserving the story of Miami and South Florida. The exhibits are well organized, with a mix of photos, old artifacts, and interactive displays that make it easy to follow the city’s history. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciated how much local culture and community history they included. It’s not a huge museum, but there’s plenty to see if you take your time I spent about an hour and a half exploring both buildings. Beautiful stop if you enjoy learning about how Miami became what it is today.

Mexican restaurant
Coyo Taco is a vibrant Mexican street food spot with a hidden bar, offering house-brand tequila margaritas. The Coral Gables location stands out for its spacious patio on pedestrian-only Giralda Plaza, providing a peaceful dining experience away from the bustling streets. Visitors can enjoy all of Coyo's signature dishes and cocktails at this outpost. Additionally, cocktail enthusiasts can access the speakeasy-like back room by walking through the door marked 'Staff Only.'
Every time I go to Miami, I have to come to Coyo Taco. The food is always fresh, the vibe is always good. The service is fast. the music and the people are always good. I absolutely love this place. I got the Beria tacos. I got a burrito and a margarita. My pictures are from two different occasions. I’m just putting it all in one review.

Coyo taco was highly recommended by my friends for tacos in Miami. At the Wynwood location, it was very busy on Friday night with people celebrating a bachelorette, pre-gaming before going out, or just grabbing a late night bite. The Wynwood location specifically has Mahi Mahi tacos. Their roasted cauliflower taco with a flour tortilla had crunch and flavor that was refreshing and actually tasted kind of healthy. The cochinita pibil with roasted pork had a soft corn tortilla and the meat was nice and soft. The real winner for me was their condiments - they had an assortment of various salsas, but the best part for my spice lovers was the spicy chili, onion, and carrot mix available to add to the tacos. It gave the perfect hit of spice without having to drench the taco in vinegar-y hot sauce (they have valentina’s hot sauce for those wondering). Would definitely go back, because they ran out of the duck confit taco and that is a unique taco I want to try! For those who want a margarita - they have a $5 house margarita available on the rocks. It’s your average margarita but an affordable add on! And how can I forget - there is a speakeasy in the back for anyone going out and wanting to pregame before going out in Wynwood. The ambiance was fun and busy.

6/10 not bad, but not good either. Place has been on my list for years and I stopped by today with my friend and we both agree this place is overrated. Reading the reviews you think this place is top notch but sadly it’s not and quite disappointing after we dined here. Being a meat connoisseur, the biggest red flag was the meat being already cooked, sitting in the back in stainless steel bins. How long the meat was sitting there??? I don’t know but all meat varieties were cooked, chilling in the back. Then they warm it on the grill. This is not fresh at all. And really not made to order. The quality of meats itself is standard. The seasoning of the meats or lack there of is what is missing. The pastor was bland really no flavor, and the asada was dry and tasted old. The only thing I saw them cook fresh and raw was the shrimp. So they put old meat on the tacos and burritos and just warm them up on the grill for a few seconds. Being from Los Angeles I have a great understanding of good street tacos for one dollar. Cooked fresh in front of you. $57 for a margarita, six tacos and a burrito. The best thing was the tortillas, salsa bar and frozen margarita. Service was good, interior was clean.

Coyo Taco in Wynwood is a super fun spot that fits right in with the artsy, vibrant vibe of the neighborhood. The atmosphere is a solid 5/5 – colorful, lively, and perfect for grabbing tacos after checking out the murals. Even though it was packed on a Sunday afternoon, the line moved smoothly, and the service was on point. The staff was friendly, quick, and kept things running without a hitch. We kicked things off with the guac, which was fresh and flavorful – definitely a good start. For tacos, we went with the cochinita pibil, chicken al carbón, al pastor, and birria. Everything was really tasty, with bold flavors and tender meats. Are these the best tacos in the area? Not quite, but they’re still a solid 4/5 in my book, and I’d definitely come back for more. One of the best parts? Their weekday specials. Don’t sleep on Taco Tuesday – you get 50% off tacos, which is a steal. Overall, Coyo Taco is a great spot when you’re in Wynwood, looking for good food, great service, and a chill vibe that won’t disappoint.

We had the guacamole and chips, carne asada alambre tacos, pollo alambre tacos and a ribeye taco. It was very good and tasty…I just don’t like the flavor of their corn tortillas so I used the chips from the guacamole instead.

Coyo Taco is a Mexican Restaurant w/ both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Outdoor Patio consists of park style benches / tables as well as some stool / counter seating. Coyo Taco has a cute, quaint indoor dining space that has a few tables & chairs. The fountain machine is there for you for get your soda, lemonade, etc. There is also bottled water, bottled sodas, etc. available for purchase. Coyo Taco's Margeritas ($5) are amazing! Coyo Taco has 2 lines.- one of for food purchases & the other is to gain entry into the Speakeasy. Security is at the front door & asks every patron to show their ID before they allow you to enter. When we first arrived, we went on the food line. We ordered Steak Burrito Bowl & Steak Quesadillas. The delicious, flavorful steal in both dishes made everything taste wonderful. We were then able to go into the Speakeasyto enjoy some music & dancing. Thank you to Edgar, who was attentive, friendly, & provided us w/ great.customer service. From the first to the return visit that evening, he was so kind to us & did it all w/ a warm smile. You made our visit a good one and we appreciated it. Coyo Taco's Speakeasy has a few seating areas w/ a full-bar & nice- sized dance floor. We enjoyed listening to hip-hop and r&b music when we sat & ate as well as when we danced. Coyo Taco also has a beautiful wall mural inside as well gorgeous mural-style artwork in their bathrooms. Coyo Taco is a good place w/ equally good vibes.

As soon as I walked in The atmosphere was very inviting and the staff was very nice. The prices are super reasonable. Their birria Tacos are amazing. And don’t get me started on the margaritas! Their flavor Selection was amazing as well and my favorite part is that they had different prices for different margaritas! Ranging anywhere between five and $12. I came here with my friend for lunch after shopping at Aventura mall the food was pretty good. I would not give it five stars, but it was good. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive nice kind. It’s a cute atmosphere, but at the end of the day, it’s a restaurant in the mall. we had the burger, which was good but not great. We had the salmon which I felt could’ve been slightly larger. The hummus is amazing. The Israeli salad was great as well. The dessert was average.

The food was exceptional! We ordered many different items, but the one that stood out was the hummus — it was perfectly balanced, silky, and paired beautifully with the well-seasoned bread. Nicole, our server, was outstanding. She was incredibly attentive, fast, and always nearby without being intrusive. She knew the menu well and was both personable and genuinely caring. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience thanks to both the delicious food and Nicole’s excellent service.

The food was top notch, worth the price. Had the salmon bowl, fries and everything was delicious. Food was split between two and it was plenty. Perfectly seasoned and beautifully brought to the table. Would highly recommend. Only thing to note is the area is spotty, but the building is safe w security in front and throughout given it’s a jewelry district.

After reading great reviews about this place I was keen to dine here. I was indecisive about what to order as there were so many great dishes to choose from! The chicken skewer was edible but lacked flavour. Halloumi is standard, can’t go wrong and it was delicious. The restaurant was located in a building full of jewellery stores; I almost missed it completely!

Must try! The food is top-notch. The chef and staff were extremely accommodating. I’m not the biggest fan of tahini, they use quite a bit in the hummus. However, the texture of the hummus was the smoothest I’ve had in a long time. Very well done and will always recommend!

Red Rooster Overtown is a vibrant restaurant by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, offering a unique blend of Southern comfort food with Caribbean influences. The menu features a variety of dishes, including jerk-spiced rum-glazed chicken and jambalaya with grits, alongside classic Southern favorites. The restaurant also boasts a cultural space for exhibitions and performances.
My man brought me here for Mother’s Day, and everything was amazing. From the live jazz to the beautiful ambiance, they created the perfect atmosphere. The guests were in great spirits—everyone was laughing, relaxed, and having a good time. The food? Immaculate. The texture, taste, and presentation were all on point. Every dish was a work of art accompanied with beautiful art, and the shareable portions gave real value for the price. Everything came together perfectly—it was an experience, not just a meal.

We visited Red Rooster Overtown in Miami two years ago, and it was an incredible dining experience that perfectly reflected Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s signature style. As fans of Chef Marcus, we were excited to try this location after dining at the one in London and it didn’t disappoint. The ambiance was absolutely top-notch. The design of the restaurant is vibrant, full of character, with beautiful murals, lush greenery, and a lively atmosphere that makes the space feel both upscale and welcoming. The outdoor area is stunning, and the energy of the place was contagious. The food was exceptional, from the creative appetizers to the flavorful mains, every dish was carefully crafted and beautifully presented. We enjoyed highlights like the famous chicken and waffles, perfectly crispy and juicy, and the lobster and grits which was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The cocktails were well balanced, and the cornbread was simply a must have. While we found the prices a bit on the high side compared to our experience at the London location (likely due to Miami’s prime setting), the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worth it. The service was friendly and professional, adding to the great vibe. If you’re in Miami and looking for a unique dining experience with amazing food, live music, and an unforgettable setting, Red Rooster Overtown is a must visit. Chef Marcus delivers again!

Red Rooster is all about flavor and vibe! Greeted by a chicken roaming outside (yes, really 🐓), we knew this would be different. The menu is limited with no substitutions, but once the food comes out, you understand why—everything is crafted with care. Highlights: jerk wings (spicy and bold), mac & cheese (rich and fresh), and cornbread with blackberry sauce + rum butter (unreal!). Desserts were just as impressive—especially the key lime pie and Oreo-rolled ice cream sandwich. Ambiance is low-lit, upbeat, and lively. Service was excellent—our waitress helped us work around the no-substitution rule with patience and understanding. Overall: 10/10 for flavor, vibe, and uniqueness. Highly recommend!

Visiting from out of town and had to find something close to the bright line. The absolute best oxtails I have ever had at a restaurant. So very tender, exploding with flavor. I could’ve asked for a better dish than this one. We were greeted upon entering very nicely. Staff was very attentive and helpful. I also had the cornbread, which was OK, but it did have a good taste to it. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes as average, but the star of the night was the oxtails.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant with my friends and my experience was excellent! We had a great server Shelbry who walked us through the menu, provided suggestions and answered any questions we had. He made sure our glasses were always filled with water and checked on us often. The cornbread was amazing and the Ms Fried Yardbird dish was very delicious. At the end of dinner, Shelbry even took the time to give us a small tour around the restaurant. We saw the artwork and he explained the history behind certain pieces. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Miami Seaquarium, located on Virginia Key, is a must-visit for families with kids. Since 1955, this marine complex has been captivating visitors with its diverse sea life displays and entertaining shows featuring killer whales, dolphins, manatees, penguins, sea turtles, and sharks. The 750,000-gallon saltwater aquarium is home to many of these friendly creatures. Additionally, the Seaquarium offers dolphin rides and experiences for an up-close encounter with these intelligent mammals.
The Miami Seaquarium is a classic attraction and a great place to learn about marine life and ocean conservation while enjoying fun shows and exhibits. It’s a family-friendly destination with a mix of interactive experiences, educational programs, and close-up encounters with dolphins, sea lions, and tropical fish. The layout is easy to navigate, with both indoor and outdoor exhibits that make it enjoyable year-round. Highlights include the dolphin and sea lion shows, as well as opportunities to learn more about manatees, turtles, and other marine animals. There are also options for interactive experiences, like swimming with dolphins, which make the visit even more memorable. The park offers plenty of shaded areas, food stands, and seating, which is convenient for families with kids. It’s also close to downtown Miami, making it an easy addition to any travel itinerary.

I attended the very last show before the Seaquarium shuts down, and honestly — it was heartbreaking. While the structure may look a bit run down, what truly stood out to me was the incredible connection between the staff and the animals. You can see the genuine love, care, and bond they share. The animals looked happy, healthy, and so well cared for. Many of these animals have been rescued and could never survive in the wild, so this place has been their home and safe haven. Seeing it close is deeply sad — Miami just won’t be the same without this historic staple that has brought joy, education, and unforgettable memories to so many families. Thank you to the amazing staff for your dedication, compassion, and the love you’ve shown these beautiful creatures every single day. 💙🐬

Went on a Tuesday and I have to say it was not crowded at all. But also there wasn’t much to do and not many animals at all. I wouldn’t even consider this an aquarium. When you hear aquarium you think you would see fish tanks lot of marine life but no. Definitely not worth it
Elizabeth O — Google review
This place was not busy at all. I appreciated the staff and all the knowledge they had to share about the animals that are there, any questions we had they had an answer. I will say the place seems slightly run down and could maybe use some renovations. There also were not as many animals as I was expecting you could say but the shows they had were really nice. It was so cool to see how the sea lions and Dolphins were so well behaved and trained. You could truly see the relationships the trainers had with them and that alone was a beautiful thing to see. Me and my family purchased our tickets on Groupon so it was $23.99 for each person which isn’t too bad for something to do.

It was a decent visit overall. The place is nice and well-kept, but a few sections were closed, which made it feel a bit limited. The shows we did catch were fun, and it seems like something kids would especially enjoy.

Wonderful experience in an iconic 70 year-old Miami landmark. Brought back memories from my childhood. The shows were great even though tomorrow will be the last day for them operating as the Seaquarium. Too bad one of the big companies didn’t buy them out and keep the aquarium as a research facility for the aquatic life here in South Florida.

It is a shame that they closed!! I met my next wife here for our first date, and I was lucky enough to come back one day before closing.. I think if it had been updated a little while ago, maybe it would have made it? But either way, we will always remember it fondly, and have happy memories of this place!

We stopped by on a bit of an off day, at the end of the day. Despite this, we were still able to enjoy 1 1/2hrs of seeing some very pretty animals and took in a great dolphin show as well!

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is a historic estate located in Coconut Grove, Miami. Built between 1914 and 1922, it was the waterfront villa of James Deering, an art collector and conservationist. The museum houses a diverse collection of furniture, tapestries, sculptures, and paintings from the early 20th century.
The mansion was built in the 1910s as a winter home for businessman James Deering. The architecture and gardens are gorgeous, like stepping into old Europe. Fun fact: there's a stone barge built right in front of the villa that protects it from waves and storm damage. It looks like a floating sculpture! The whole estate is beautifully maintained. Perfect spot for photos and learning about Miami's history.

Fabulous. This is the kind of place one could go back to day after day and never tire of. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful; the detail inside and outside the house unbelievable. And their café, is no ordinary café. An unexpected pleasure for sure. I’m so glad I stopped in, these ladies know how to move around in the kitchen, they’re so kind, so friendly. Their food is amazing. The best quiche I ever had, and delicious salad on the side. Homemade lemonade was excellent. Guava pastry was also the best I’ve ever eaten. I can’t say enough good things, Paula, thank you! You’re the best.

Perfect — thank you! Based on what you shared, here’s a friendly, natural review you could post on Google, TripAdvisor, or Yelp: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 out of 5 stars) I really enjoyed visiting Vizcaya Museum and Gardens! The place is beautiful and peaceful, with amazing ocean views and so many perfect spots for pictures. It’s a great place to dress up a bit and take stunning photos surrounded by nature and historic architecture. The only thing I didn’t love was that the pools and ponds could have been cleaner — it would have made the experience even more perfect. Overall, though, it’s a gorgeous, relaxing spot and definitely worth visiting when you’re in Miami!

I can stay in this place the whole day, the whole week! This place is so magnificent that I can't describe it! It's a truly exceptional experience. Everything was in the right place, every piece of the furniture was where it should be. During the walk, you can scan the QR code and listen to the tutorial, which was well-prepared. It was not crowded, and the security staff were very friendly. Amazing!

Built in the early 1900s as James Deering’s winter home, this villa feels like a piece of Italy in Miami. The architecture and interiors are full of history and charm. The gardens are breathtaking — especially in spring, when everything is green and blooming. A peaceful, inspiring place that’s truly worth visiting! 🌸

The Vizcaya Museum is absolutely stunning and truly worth a visit! Every corner of this place feels like a work of art — I honestly wanted to photograph everything. The architecture, gardens, and breathtaking views create such a magical atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who loves history, design, or photography. You can spend hours exploring the elegant interiors and peaceful gardens while feeling transported to another era.

We just showed up on a Wednesday. Had no trouble getting in.. It's an overthetop fancy mansion and gardens built circa 1915. House is unique and obviously decorated in an Italianate style. Gardens are the real treat!!! Neat plantings with lovely fountains. There was a wedding party taking photos. We saw many photograpers taking pics of Quincecers, families and close ups of the plants Included is a mangroveforest and another Florida native forest. It's huge, stroller friendly. The cafe had good salads and wraps.

Had a beautiful day visiting the grounds. Had to come back after 40 years. A few things have changed since I have been there. The court yard has a glass roof and air conditioning. I remember going as a kid in August and complaining it was so hot. We had a wonderful and knowledgeable guide named Ken. I reminded him that I remembered curtains & drapery in the courtyard area. He said yes they used to have some up. I got to reenact my photo on the steps. It was a great day which brought me back to my youth. If you happen to visit Ken also recommend a chocolate chip 🍪 cookie from the Cafe. After our day of adventure we stopped at the café and had some lobster rolls and that delicious warm cookie 🍪.

Public swimming pool
Venetian Pool is a historic and iconic spring-water-filled pool located in Coral Gables, Florida. Built in 1923, it was originally a rock quarry pit used to mine oolitic limestone for the area's early buildings. Designed by Denman Fink and Phineas Paist, it was once dubbed the world's most beautiful swimming hole.
Super pretty spot to spend the day and cool off. The pool is refreshing and the amenities are nice. Lounge on the sand area or rent a lounger. Plenty of space to swim and cool off the pools are huge. Really pretty waterfall feature. The staff is very nice and accommodating! Really great to visit during the week as there were very little people there. Paid $17 as I am a non resident, which is still very affordable. Concession stand was under construction but there were vending machines with drinks and snacks available. Would visit again!
Ashley F — Google review
This is a must see while visiting to Miami. The pool is so clear and pretty it's from a natural spring. It has a kiddie pool, a sand area and the waterfall rock grotto you can swim inside. Pretty neat. It is deep i would wear a life vest however there were plenty of lifeguards. You have to park in this lot kinda down the street but it wasnt far and its about $20 to get in. I remember it was vending machines but im not sure if you can bring a cooler or outside food.
Vikki R — Google review
The Venetian pool is a pretty great experience! The water is a great cool temperature to take a break from the heat of summer! With its beautiful turquoise waters, it is a wonderful spot for family or a nice date doing something out of the usual. I will have to knock it for the parking. Although if you arrive early Enough it shouldn’t be an issue. If you arrive after 11:00 you’ll be circling a few times waiting on a spot.
Juan C — Google review
I absolutely loved this place. I purchased my tickets the night before because I heard this place gets packed. I'm very happy I did because when I got there at noon on a Saturday it had already reached capacity. Parking is a little tricky because of how packed it gets. I had to circle around a few times before I found a spot. Once inside I was taken away by how beautiful and clear the water was. Word of advice: wear the life jacket if you're not a strong swimmer. The pool is super deep in some areas. However there are more than enough lifeguards standing by at all times. The seating areas get taken quickly so try to arrive early. Also the concession area is currently being remodeled so take your own snacks and drinks. This place is totally worth the $17 entrance fee. Lots of greats spots for pictures too. Will be returning soon. But probably on a weekday to avoid the crowds.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. I was working in coral gables for over a year and never stepped in. Last week I had the chance to go for the first time and they just open the place for the season. You can enjoy en relax, also I have to mention they have a good group of lifeguards that keep monitoring the area and the people in the pool. If you love to swim, you will love the 8ft deep side of the pool. Definitely looking to come back.
Danilo R — Google review
Was impressed with this place, nice tucked into neighborhood location and felt the pool was bigger and better than I expected. Will return to again to explore the cave area as that had just been shut down for the day, as I was swimming to it. 8ft depth nice to swim long laps in, I wondered why it would be closed for season and now I realize it’s likely the leaves that would be falling into water and too much to maintain.
Vinnie C — Google review
This place is very beautiful. The water was amazing, and the waterfalls were fun. Clean park and plenty of seating areas. Pricing seemed fair enough, under $20/person. Locals obviously get a great deal. Still worth the sight and swim.
Stephanie H — Google review
This place has been here so many years! A private pool located in Coral Gables, but non residents can pay $21 non-refundable no matter rain or shine for the day! There is a waterfall, smaller shallow pool, and underwater cave. Picnic seating and seating under covering. There is a mini beach and a little Cafe to see get food that is reasonably priced. Now note if there is inclement weather they will remove you from the pools and outdoor seating for your safety. They will not refund your money..no matter how long you have been there. So choose wisely. Other than that this was a great place to spend the day. The safe was super nice and knowledgeable about the history of the pool!

Coffee shop
Chef Sucre Café is a charming, sunlit restaurant that offers a mix of traditional bistro fare with a Latin twist. The café is known for serving breakfast all day, featuring delectable croque madams and croque monsieurs, as well as delightful sandwiches, fresh croissants, and an irresistible flourless chocolate cake. The friendly staff provides excellent service and the atmosphere is welcoming with both indoor and outdoor seating options available.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating. It was a hot summer morning and they brought out ice-water and a treat for our little dog who was parched from the long walk that we took to get there. The breakfast was excellent, we had avocado toast and they don't hold back with their portions. It didn't really feel like your run of the mill corporate avo-toast that you'd get from a franchise, they really put a great dish together. The flavors were balanced and tasty. We also had a side salad and hashbrowns which turned out fine. I recommend you try their iced vanilla cappucino, it's not overly sweet and they top it off with foam and cinnamon dust in a mason jar and it was truly delicious, we almost went back for seconds! We'll definitely be back there to try something else next time :)
Jason B — Google review
Review for Chef Sucre - Coral Gables I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chef Sucre in Coral Gables, and I was thoroughly impressed! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for breakfast or a quick bite. The cleanliness and organization of the café stood out; everything was well-maintained and tidy, which always enhances the dining experience. I ordered a hot chocolate and eggs with jamón serrano, and both were delightful. The hot chocolate was rich and creamy, providing the perfect warmth on a cool morning. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the addition of jamón serrano added a deliciously savory touch that elevated the dish. It was a satisfying meal that left me feeling content. The service was impressively fast, which is a huge plus for anyone on a tight schedule. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. Their positive attitude added to the overall enjoyable experience at Chef Sucre. In summary, if you’re in Coral Gables and looking for a great café with delicious food, quick service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Chef Sucre is definitely worth a visit! I’ll be returning soon to try more of their offerings.

Nice coffee shop next to Le Jeune with a good cappuchino and pastries. The service was fast and friendly (although they were quick to remind us that only clients can sit outside when they saw us without food and didn't ask if we had already ordered)..... Other than that the atmosphere was ok.

I order That Breakfast Bagel with a choice of 1 side, either chips and a salad. I chose the salad and everything was quick and fresh ( watched them make it). I had 10 minutes to get to an appointment and made it in time. I appreciate that the utensils came with salt and pepper and the Biodegradable bag.

Beautiful and sweet place! The server was really kind and welcoming and it’s the perfect price if you want to save some money not to mention the food is absolutely delicious as well. The food came in incredibly quick, warm, and delicious! Thank you for having us!

A million times yes !! Everyone here is so so welcoming, always with a smile and so extremely happy to serve you. They really seem grateful you’re there. Not only that, the coffee and food are 10/10. Gone here twice and it’s been delicious and amazing each time. Neither of the sandwiches we ordered have lacked flavor. I certainly recommend, this place is a gem.
Steph R — Google review
Certainly! Here’s a polished version of your review rephrased for a Google Review format: ⸻ The food at this restaurant is consistently outstanding—Chef Sucre is incredibly talented, and the quality is always top-notch. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience does not reflect the same level of excellence. The woman who handles orders and checkout (who I believe is the chef’s wife and co-owner) provides a consistently poor customer service experience. She comes across as unwelcoming and lacks basic customer service skills, which makes the overall experience uncomfortable. It’s disappointing when such amazing food is overshadowed by unfriendly service at the front. On my last visit, I ordered takeout because I was short on time. While waiting, I asked if I could sit at one of the many empty tables outside to eat quickly before heading to my appointment. I was told no, as she didn’t want other customers getting the idea that it’s allowed. I would understand this if the restaurant was full, but with seven open tables and no wait, it felt unnecessarily rigid and dismissive—especially considering I was a paying customer. Customer service should be about creating a welcoming and accommodating environment. Sadly, that’s not the case here. As much as I love the food, the lack of hospitality has made me decide not to return.

This place is the perfect breakfast / lunch stop to go with excellent coffee. The Cuban Style Colada was outstanding, 3 espresso shots with sugar. Loved it! The ham and cheese croissant was exceptional. Your choice of inside or outside dining. Chef Sucre Café is the perfect brunch spot.

Argentinian restaurant
Graziano's Restaurant in Coral Gables is a delightful haven for lovers of Argentine cuisine, offering an elegant white-tablecloth setting that perfectly complements its mouthwatering dishes. This inviting steakhouse specializes in generous portions of expertly grilled meats, including succulent churrasco and flavorful empanadas, all cooked over a traditional wood fire. The menu features an impressive array of beef cuts and savory mixed grills, ensuring every meat lover finds something to savor.
Graziano's came recommended by a friend and it was amazing. We started with the Chorizo Argentino casero. It was not spicy but flavorful. We also had the provoleta parrillera. What can I say? Delicious! A must have. We shared the tomahawk and it was prepared like no other medium rare on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The beef is from family owned ranches. It was a la carte. We chose a scalloped potato and mushroom risotto. The Portobello mushroom risotto was to die for. It was cooked to perfection. Graziano's has a market a couple of blocks down and we picked a Picanya cut of meat and grilled it the next day. I can't say enough about the food, atmosphere and service. Outstanding!!
Theresa R — Google review
The food was good — fresh and flavorful, on the pricey side of course. However, sitting next to the window was uncomfortably hot, especially during the afternoon. Would definitely come back, but next time I’ll ask for a seat more convenient.
Cinthya R — Google review
Great parrilla experience with an authentic Argentine touch. The asador uses Quebracho logs, which give the meats a delicious, smoky flavor. The food is very good, and the detail of serving wine in a traditional pingüino bottle adds charm. Service is attentive and friendly, and while prices are on the higher side, they feel fair for the quality. The only downside is the long wait, food can take over 40 minutes to arrive. If you’re in a hurry, it may not be the best option.

Disaster? I think not! This could have easily been a terrible experience... Nico, Roly, Marcos and Elmer ENSURED that didn't happen. My original table? Didn't like the location.... Marcos fixed that. My table light? Went out twice! Elmer and Roly? Attentive and quick on the draw to fix that. And Nico? The epitome of what the restaurant stands for... Family and friends, welcoming and enjoyable. The quality of service was maintained throughout the evening, and I was there when it was extremely busy (right after 7pm and there were a couple groups of 5+). As a solo dinner party, female and visiting from outsidE the US, I felt like I found my forever Miami spot. I wish I had found this restaurant sooner. The steak was amazing (medium-well bone-in ribeye... Must have with the veggies), the drinks were on point (sambuca for the win... even for a Caribbean gal with a taste for strong drink), the dessert was great (traditional Argentinian cake with coconut and cream... a cross between a cream pie and creme brulee... Yummm) but the service? I felt like family. It was the best part of my experience. I will be back. I highly recommend.
Leah D — Google review
We were seated in the back of the restaurants next to 3 families. Waited for over an hour and our food never arrived. The other families ate, got dessert and left. When we confronted the waitress she said there was a problem in the kitchen with our dish, never apologized and just kept on saying the food will be coming soon. We then walked out of the restaurant and went to another place. This was my second time here; the first time was 3 years ago. Idk if they changed management but our experience this time was very negative. The servers were walking by us in an empty back room just staring and offering no help; very uncomfortable setting. There are so many restaurants in the gables that would be happy to treat you right. If you are thinking about coming here with your family I would think about it twice.

Great place to grab a nice steak at a reasonable cost in Miami. Awesome selection of wines and appetizers. Super friendly staff and hand picked steaks daily. Highly recommend.

We went late night just to share a steak and we got their lomo with brussel sprouts and fries. The lomo was a little undercooked but still very good and same for the brussel sprouts, they weren’t as crispy as we hoped they would be. The fries were very yummy! Would visit again.

I absolutely love this place! It will be the best steak you have ever had in your life!! I’ve also never seen asparagus so huge!!! Servers are amazing! You will not be disappointed!! Let me add a table of 4 walked away with these same feelings- one had the meatballs as his main course due to needing a softer food and let me say they are amazing as well, one had the cowboy steak and the other had the boneless trimmed rib eye, not sure of the name of that one but all were extremely satisfied! One of the owners stopped by the table a few times and explained how they make some of their things using very old recipes! Au gratin potatoes and asparagus and ceaser salad were all amazing, lamb empanadas were also a hit and the ham and cheese empanadas were as well! You can’t go wrong here!

Restaurant
The Original Daily Bread Marketplace is a popular spot in Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood, offering a variety of traditional Middle Eastern and Greek dishes as well as ingredients for those who want to cook at home. The marketplace serves up classic dishes like tabouli, baba ghanoush, falafel, hummus, and lamb or beef kebabs with generous portions of fresh pita bread.
Everything here is AMAZING!!!! One of the yummiest Mediterranean markets I've been to in a very long time. Everything was so super fresh and delicious, you could tell it was made with quality ingredients and lots of love. Staff was great and super friendly. I ordered a lamb gyro which was very flavorful. They also have 3 different types of meats on a spindle cooling on the fire, so yummy. The place smells amazing from the spices and foods. The pastries were equally incredible I got the chocolate and pistachio baklava and another couple I can't remember the names but I'll remember the taste forever. Highly recommend!!!

Top middle eastern spot close to Coral Gables with homemade like traditional middle eastern food. Loved the olive aioli, hummus, lamb and their loaded fries. The service was fast and friendly. They also have a small specialty food market and sell varied sweets like baklava. Will come back!

I don’t usually write reviews however I was recently so disappointed in the lack of care in the food quality. I picked up dinner yesterday and this was my first bad experience here. The salad literally had clumps of hair. I sent them an email to avoid a bad review and got zero response. I was however sent email and text surveys on my experience so I responded to both to try to resolve my issue and make them aware of my recent experience. Still no response. I am probably too disturbed to return for a while. Really disappointed and I understand having bad days but even the post experience gave me a bad taste in my mouth.

I've ordered from here occasionally over the past decade or so, the gyros and pita bread are amazing, tatziki to die for, but yesterday, my lunch came with an extra ingredient. There was a full hair, follicle and all, folded into my meat grapeleaf... you can see it in the pic where i TOOK A BITE OF ONE AND IT WAS REVEALED LIKE A MYSTERY SURPRISE. I immediately lost my appetite and Uber eats only gave me a partial refund. I'm going to find another place to order from. I'm just really grossed out and disappointed because I was so hungry (I'm pregnant)...

They have a market that has stuff from east Europe and Middle East. The food court has delicious plates and the service is super fast!!!

I’ve always enjoyed visiting this place—I've been here many times. The food is consistently good, the prices are fair, and the market offers a wide variety of products I really like. Unfortunately, during my last two visits, the service in the fresh food area has been disappointing. Earlier today, I visited again. There were no other customers in that section and four staff members were present. I greeted them with a “Hello,” but none of them acknowledged me or asked if I needed assistance. I ended up leaving that area without being helped. Thankfully, the cashier in the market section was very kind and professional, which I truly appreciated. This is a great place, and it would be unfortunate for it to lose customers due to poor service. I hope you can address this with the team in the fresh food area so that the overall experience can match the good quality of your products. Thank you.
Aileen M — Google review
The food here is absolutely to die for. Everything they make is fresh daily and the real authentic flavor is delusions. I’ve been coming here for more than I can remember maybe 25 years. Their beef shawarma platter is amazing and the beef shawarma sandwich even better. You can in or place an order for take out. Any way you will always hit the spot. Humus fresh and perfect, babaganoush espectacular. The Baklava wow 100% recommended. The prices are so reasonable. This is one of my favorite places to eat.

I am a returning customer, I really love to eat here, the food is delicious and always fresh, but the ladies are not friendly, they are rude most of them and us as a customer don’t deserve to be treated with such a rude way, when we are happy to come to eat and support locals, instead you ended up mad and not enjoying the food. I will come back but would be nice if the owner talks to them to be more appropriate to the clients. Note: I spoke with a manager after, and he kindly addressed the situation. Thank you

Restaurant
Toro Toro is an upscale Pan-Latin chophouse and bar located in the Intercontinental Hotel. Despite its hotel location, it's not your typical hotel restaurant. Renowned Chef Richard Sandoval, with 34 establishments under his belt, has brought his successful Toro Toro concept from Dubai to Miami. The menu features a wide range of small plates, including ceviche nikkei and arepas with short ribs.
Had a great experience at Toro Toro last night. I called ahead to make sure meat is halal and they confirmed both on the phone and in the store that all meat is halal and only chicken is not halal. We tried an appetizer called short rib something to share and it was beyond extraordinary. It tasted amazing and was so soft and melting in the mouth. We had skirt steak and it was pretty huge 14 oz for $75 and they were cooked perfectly to our request. Steaks were really juicy and very well seasoned and it was one of the best steaks I ever had. Our waiter was friendly and professional and restaurant atmosphere was calm and classy

I visited this place during my vacation in Miami. The food was amazing. One thing that surprised me was that they serve halal steak. We tried their halal steak, and it was perfectly cooked and well presented. I really appreciate them for offering halal meat. The service was excellent. The only issue I have is their 18% service charge, which I believe is too high. The food was a bit pricey, but worth the money. I would go back there again for their halal steak.

What a great way to start the day than having breakfast here. Everything was amazing as far as the food goes but the best part about it was Ashae, she was wonderful and she made our morning even better!! We loved her and are gonna miss our time here. Thank you Ashae!!!

Very good service. Food is phenomenal and has great presentation. The bread they serve at the beginning is some of the best bread service I have ever had. The only downside is that because it's in a hotel that hosts events, the atmosphere may very. For us there was a part on the floor above that was literally shaking the ceiling. The whole four was reverberating from it.

Food was great but service sucked. I went twice and the first time the hostess took my order and said they would relay to the service. 10-15 minutes the server came over and took my order another 15 minutes went by and then i got my food before i even got the water I had ordered twice. 2nd trip was smoother, got service more promptly and then the server forgot about us. Waited 15 minutes to finally flag him down to pay. Food was tasty but expensive as expected. Will venture outside of the hotel next time

I visited after hearing several glowing reviews and wanted to experience it for myself. Unfortunately, my visit on Halloween night was disappointing. The atmosphere itself is beautiful, elegant decor and a lively ambiance which is the only reason I’m giving this place two stars instead of one. The service quality and portion sizes, however, left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I made a polite request to our server regarding a small accommodation from the chef. Without even checking, the server declined my request rather abruptly. I decided to stay despite that initial interaction, hoping the experience would improve. Everyone can have an off-day, after all. I imagine, having to work on a festive holiday is upsetting for the server. If you don’t want to work, then don’t. The food overall was average at best. While the protein was cooked well, the portions were noticeably small for the price point, and the drink presentation was underwhelming. For a restaurant with such strong praise, I expected more warmth, attentiveness, and creativity. Sadly, the experience didn’t live up to the hype.

We arrived without a reservation on a Thursday around 6pm and we were delighted that they were able to seat us quickly as we had a long 10 hour drive that day. Needless to say we were ready to tear it up on good food. We came here as me and my husband have been here before for cocktails and enjoyed our experience and said we would get dinner next time. We brought friends with us as we were all vacationing together to celebrate our anniversary’s. Let’s get into it- We were seated immediately and our server was at our table as we were being seated filling up our glasses with water. It gave us a chance to read over menus and have him explain things on the menu. Our server was fantastic. We ordered a good spread of food, some managed to get photographs taken before we jumped in. Everything with our appetizers was delicious and cooked great. The flavors were extremely satisfying after a day of snacking in the car. The Amarillo ceviche came as a suggestion from our server and it was absolutely delicious. 2 of us ordered the Wagyu, and both were ordered medium and arrived medium. They tasted amazing, so tender and flavorful. I like how they seasoned them and added the butter on top and it really made for an enjoyable meal. I also ordered the potatoes 3 ways and they were great. It had little crispy potatoes flaked on top, little tiny baby potatoes, and mashed potatoes. It was delicious. One of us said it was the best steak they’ve ever had, and for me personally it was in my top 5. I’ve tried lots of Wagyu and it was delicious, but I’ve had better. This is where the lack of 5 stars on food came from for me. I would absolutely come back again as it was a very enjoyable meal and really wasn’t a bad price for a very nice meal. Our server also made the experience enjoyable as we didn’t have to wait on refills, he was amazing at explaining any questions we had, and his suggestions also made for a very enjoyable dinner. The food also came out in a nice timely manner and we weren’t sitting for hours waiting so that was also nice to get dinner wrapped up quickly and into bed for our cruise the next morning.

During our recent stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, we had the opportunity to dine at Toro Toro on a Saturday night, and it was a pleasant experience. Our evening began in the comfortable lounge area, where we enjoyed a couple of cocktails while watching a college SEC game on a large screen. The combination of sports, bar ambiance, great food, and attentive service made for an enjoyable start. Our server from the lounge also provided excellent service at our dining table. She was knowledgeable about the menu and even brought the head chef to our table for an introduction and to explain some of the dishes. We started our dinner with prawns, octopus, and pork belly, which were all satisfying. However, the highlights were the perfectly cooked filet mignon and the flavorful red snapper, along with a great wine list offering many worldwide options. We ordered a bottle of Medalla Malbec from Argentina, which had a very nice bouquet, medium to full body, dark ruby red color, low tannin, and a slightly dry finish. Our side dishes, including broccolini and lobster mac and cheese (amazing), were also well-prepared and delicious. The dessert options, such as flan, key lime pie, and various cakes, were tempting for those with room for dessert. The overall dining experience at Toro Toro was fantastic, with our high-top dining table and big screen TV adding to the ambiance, especially with the great service and tasty food. We would definitely consider returning on our next trip to Miami.

Day 4

Off the beaten path
For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Bulla Gastrobar. Not quite as popular as Venetian Pool, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Restaurant
Bulla Gastrobar, located in the ritzy Coral Gables neighborhood, offers a tapas-focused menu with surprisingly reasonable prices. The contemporary bar is known for its made-to-order sangrias and Spanish & Catalan small plates such as croquetas with Iberico ham, codfish bunuelos, pintxos morunos, and huevos Bulla. The happy hour at Bulla is popular among the younger crowd and offers great deals on drinks like house martinis and sangria.
In the area for a book signing and found this little gem based on recommendation and walking distance and it was definitely a treat! And our server Lola was excellent not only was she friendly, but she was very knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations. We will definitely come back. Ate too quickly and didn’t get all of my pictures but had some amazing selections, including patatas brava

Great service and friendly staff. The atmosphere was vibrant but a bit too noisy. The Spanish tortilla was very good, but the octopus was too chewy and the burger was just average. Overall, an okay experience—some dishes could be better.

Dining at Bulla is always a treat, but Nick took the experience to another level. From the moment we were seated, his attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made us feel completely at ease. He knew the menu inside and out, offered thoughtful recommendations, and timed everything perfectly—never rushed, never delayed. Nick’s charisma and attention to detail elevated our evening from good to unforgettable. Whether it was refilling drinks before we asked or checking in with just the right frequency, he struck the perfect balance of hospitality and discretion. If you’re dining at Bulla, ask for Nick you’ll be in excellent hands.

Came to Bulla Gastrobar this past Sunday for brunch with family and friends, and once again, this place delivered. I’ve been here before for lunch, but this was my first time trying their brunch and it exceeded expectations. The menu selection was on point, the atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, and the service was attentive throughout. I also noticed they’ve expanded their second floor great move, it really opens up the space. Definitely a solid spot for a weekend brunch. We’ll be back soon.

Hadn’t been back for several years to be honest… I had gotten a bit accustomed to their menu and because I do enjoy my restaurants Bulla had become a staple. We had talked about going back and today was the day. Still very busy, (which is a great thing)… and they had added several item to their menu. Glad we tried it, planning on making another trip soon. Will recap soon

Everything was great, except the salmon 😟 The servers were super attentive. The atmosphere is super cozy. There is 50% off of alcohol until 7PM for happy hour. Definitely worth the trip!

Booked a reservation for Saturday night date night for me and the wife. Arrived about 15 minutes early and was promptly seated by the Hostess. Carolina was our server and she was awesome! Very attentive, provided good recommendations and was overall great. We ordered the Steak Medallions in Mushroom Foam Sauce and Patatas Bravas to start, both were really good. Especially the steak medallions. For main we ordered the paella mixta which was equally good. Safe to say we will be back for the quality food and great service.

Cafe
Books & Books is a renowned bookshop that offers a diverse selection of titles and hosts various events. Visitors can explore rows of books and then relax at The Cafe at Books and Books with a cappuccino. The indoor atmosphere and the outdoor patio provide an enchanting setting for leisurely reading or romantic dates. The bookstore frequently welcomes regional, national, and international authors for readings, book signings, and other events.
Like pretty much everyone who reviewed Books & Books, I found it quite charming as well. They have a couple rooms of books so not the largest selection, but really tall stacks and organized very well. Aesthetically pleasing store for sure. In the opening room with the cash register, most of the books’ covers are shown which makes it much easier to find what you may like. Sure, you can’t judge a book by its cover but sometimes that’s how you shop! They also have a cafe and, I think, a bar! Or they did this particular night. And those were super packed. So I guess those are good reasons to check out your local book store to ‘’read’’.

Amazing spot. Very laid-back and chill vibes. Place was amazing. Felt like a old school book shop. There’s even a restaurant and Cafe or you can order drinks while you check out your book or magazine in the patio. I spent about an hour here today. If you’re into books, I highly recommend this place. Prices are affordable as well. Nothing is inflated. The workers were also very helpful. I would definitely be coming back soon.

Love this bookstore. I’ll make the drive just to come here. You can tell what their ethics are by the books that they sell. They are welcoming, inclusive, and friendly. They have a cafe but mostly sell lunch-ish food, not so much for dinner (salads, sandwiches). I wish they did! They have beer and wine and also have indoor and outdoor seating. Overall it’s just so nice. They have live music on certain days. The parking situation is kind of a pain but that’s how it is in the Gables. Def come for a cute date night or if you want to come alone to enjoy a good book 🤗📚🤎

📇📚📖 Attended the Books & Books launch party for J. Philip Davies’ Catch Me When You Can—an incredible novel that absolutely delivered. Just as unforgettable was the venue itself: the timeless charm of a classic bookstore setting, paired with the warm, welcoming energy of the entire team, made the night feel truly special. Huge thanks to host Mark, along with Christina, Steve, and the rest of the amazing staff, for running such a smooth, thoughtful, and engaging event in a space full of history and character. A perfect setting for a literary launch!

Super chill spot to read, listen to jazzy music, or to just hang out in a quiet, classy spot. Obviously there are a ton of books, but there is also a lovely café to order food, coffee, and other sweets. And the bar is open in the evenings, along with some live music on the weekends. A great vibe every time.
Raygene R — Google review
One I love the courtyard area and on the weekends they have live muisc. There's plenty of seating outside, but limited space inside if you want to sit down work or eat. They have a large variety of books, in both English and Spanish. I also adored the postcard selection they had and the dark wood exterior.

Books & Books is one of my favorite spots! The service is always warm and welcoming, and the live music adds such a special touch to the atmosphere. The food is tasty and well-prepared, I just wish there were a few more gluten-free options on the menu. Still, it’s a lovely place to relax, eat, and enjoy great vibes.

Every time I’m in Miami, I come to this bookstore. It’s quiet, intimate, refreshing and the service is ALWAYS and consistently EXCELLENT. Every time I’d come I would dream of having my novel sold here and today that dream came true. I’m at awe! The novel sold great in Spanish (Puerto Rico, Spain, London, USA), and now it’s available in English at Books and Books. For an indie author living in Puerto Rico, this is a huge step so I am grateful to the family at Books and Books (Jack, Cristina, Mark & Mitchell) for supporting every indie author in birthing their stories. Eating House Miami

Restaurant
Eating House Miami, located in Coral Gables, is a popular restaurant known for its eclectic and locally sourced menu. Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli's creatively conceived dishes feature items like ropa vieja croquetas, crispy masa-encrusted queso blanco, and halibut a la plancha with plantain tostones. The brunch menu draws a cult following for its Cap'n Crunch pancakes and carbonara eggs Benedict.
If you ever find yourself in the Coral Gables area, make sure to stop by Eating House for a bite. The fish dishes are top-notch, and the Captain Crunch is a must-try! I had such a great time there—the drinks were incredible. Be sure to tell them I sent you, haha!

A Delightful Evening at Eating House in Coral Gables! My recent dinner at Eating House in Coral Gables was an absolute pleasure, thanks to their "Taste of the Gables" fixed menu. From start to finish, the experience was truly top-notch. The fixed menu itself was a culinary highlight – every dish was exceptionally well-prepared and bursting with flavor. Beyond the fantastic food, the service was excellent (Thanks Christopher M), attentive without being intrusive, making for a truly comfortable dining experience. The drinks were expertly crafted and a perfect complement to our meal, and the desserts were nothing short of spectacular, providing a sweet and memorable conclusion to the evening. Adding to the enjoyment was the restaurant's perfect location and inviting ambiance, which created a wonderful setting for a special dinner. Eating House is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in Coral Gables. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere and ambiance but a little bit pricey. The Wagyu smashed burger was very greasy and somehow salty. The branzino meuniere was very tasty and fresh. Loved the baked potato rolls and the kids

We hit Eating House on Giralda for Happy Hour as we only wanted a bite. True to my form, we were the first in the house! We were warmly greeted and treated like stars by the gal behind the bar. So welcoming. I had my usual prosecco. My husband decided to stick with water. We shared two plates, the beef tartare and the crudo. Both were very good. I did share, however, that there was way too much oil on the crudo; it overpowered the delicate flavor of the fish. I did not share that the "herb salad" was more like a scattering of microgreens. The gal said she's pass it on to the back of house.

A superb experience service was great even we were invited to look at the kitchen quickly. We truly enjoy the freshness of the meals, and we did an experience where you can share so many dishes among a big group. The owner happened to be there such a cool gentleman.

I was really surprised by this restaurant that our group just happened upon while walking around in Coral Gables. The atmosphere is very nice, the service was fantastic, the food was exceptionally good and the price was fair. Above all, we were also impressed with what we called a “clean” bill. That translates to a check that brings exactly what you ordered, no weird add-ons like a service charge or an outrageous tip already added on, or like it happened to me at another Miami restaurant, a “donation” to some obscure cause that was simply added on to our bill without even asking us first… Miami has become a place where you REALLY need to read that check, unfortunately. But, not at this restaurant: We got a clean bill! Most importantly, the food was very good, the portions were quite nice, and overall I was positively impressed. Will be back!

The food is spectacular, the chef is unique. The Brussels sprouts ceaser is a classic and the seabass is full of delicious flavors! The bartender Jordan is a doll and her passion for food with her energetic attitude is so nice to be around and a part of why we visit!

Last night we were looking for a change of scene in the gables and found it at Eating House. I was a fan of the restaurant from its original location but haven’t been back much since it re-opened. We were greeted outside while just looking at the menu which made us come in for a drink, we were welcomed in and then Steven, our waiter/bartender made it one of the most pleasant spontaneous dinners we’ve had in a bit. We were just coming in for a drink before dinner but changed our plans to have dinner at eating house due to the quality of food, beverages, service and attentiveness of the staff. We’re putting eating house into our normal rotation. Steven went above and beyond, helping us with selections from our first drink to dessert always with a good sense of humor and smile! For food recommendations- everything we tried was excellent and so fresh from the tuna crudo to the short rib and of course their famous dirt cup. P.s try the old fashioned it’s incredible.

Cebada Rooftop is a rooftop bar and restaurant located in Coral Gables, offering stunning views and a diverse menu. The cuisine is a fusion of contemporary American with a Latin twist, featuring options like raw bar bites, pastas, and various proteins. The rooftop dining experience includes cheekily named cocktails and happy hour specials on raw bar dishes. Chef Jorge Ramos brings his expertise to the table with an approachable menu suitable for casual dates or medium-sized groups.
Nice vibe for a weekend night, very casual rooftop on Giralda Av., valet parking is right around the corner. Food is served as “tapas”. Portions vary depending on which tapas you select. Ham croquetas w/guava sauce = AMAZING; octopus was my favorite, while is served with a spicy sauce that will reming you of “wing sauce”, if you mix up this sauce with the other sauces and rest of the plate, you’ll find the perfect balance. Caesar salad was very good; mushrooms croquetas, very good too; you must get the bread pudding with coffee ice cream, definitely the best option to end a very delightful meal.

This was such a great place to grab cocktails and some light bites! We really enjoyed the creative names of the cocktails, and the outdoor atmosphere was so much fun. Definitely recommend checking out this spot! We did not have a reservation and were able to get seated very quickly.

Rooftop Cebada: Chill Atmosphere with a Great View We stopped by Rooftop Cebada for a drink, and while the service was a bit slow, once we were attended to, the staff was very kind and welcoming. The real highlight here is the relaxed, laid-back vibe—it’s the perfect spot to unwind, have a quiet drink, and enjoy the view over the city. ✔ Casual and peaceful atmosphere ✔ Great place to chill without the noise or crowds ✔ Friendly staff once they get to you Verdict: Worth it for the calm vibe and rooftop experience If you’re not in a rush and want a peaceful rooftop experience in Miami, Cebada is a great choice.

Always a great time at Cebada. It wasn’t my first and it won’t be my last. Amazing selection of food, drinks are fire and the service is always great. Would definitely take a date here or friends visiting from out of town which is what we did!

Beautiful location, set up and ambiance. Ordered the corn ribs, the pan con tomate which was my favorite and the lobster rolls that were good too. The empanadas were hot and so delicious, we requested more. Due to our server forgetting to bring the shrimps we ordered, it arrived at our table luke warm to cold and not very good. A very loud and big party were seated in the covered (echoing) part near us closest to the bar, unfortunately that tainted my experience. Spoke to the manager in the front and requested another area, was told to wait about 10 min to see if a party showed up for a table in another area and were completely forgotten about for 30+ minutes. Once the food came out and the second round of drinks, we were approached and asked if we wanted to be moved when we had a 2 hour sitting limit and were about done. Unsure if I’d return but the food and drinks were good.

Italian restaurant
Bugatti Bistro is a long-standing Italian restaurant in Coral Gables, known for its housemade pasta and classic dishes. The restaurant originally started as a pasta factory and has been an institution in the area for 35 years. The decor is contemporary with plenty of booths, and the service is top-notch. The dinner menu features reasonably priced pasta dishes and entrees. Bugatti Bistro is particularly famous for its white lasagna, which has been a favorite among patrons for years.
Absolutely phenomenal experience at Bugatti Bistro! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The cozy vibe adds to the whole experience, and you can tell they put real heart into their food. Every dish was delicious and full of authentic Italian flavors—like a little trip to Italy with each bite. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were spot-on. And don’t even get me started on dessert, the perfect way to end the meal. If you’re looking for amazing Italian food in Coral Gables, Bugatti Bistro is the place to go!

Bugatti Bistro: A Mixed Experience During Taste of the Gables Our recent visit to Bugatti Bistro for the "Taste of the Gables" fixed menu offered a mix of delightful culinary moments and a few minor hiccups. Let's start with the positives: the food was great overall. The bread served at the table was absolutely divine – truly some of the best I've had! The wine selection was also impressive, offering a good variety to complement the meal. I was particularly fortunate to snag the last order of meatballs as an appetizer, which were delicious. My salmon entrée was excellent, cooked perfectly, and the tiramisu for dessert was a fantastic way to end my meal. However, the restaurant was packed, which unfortunately seemed to impact the service. While the staff was doing their best, the sheer volume of diners appeared to slow things down considerably. A more significant issue was that some of my friends were unable to get certain items from the fixed menu because the kitchen had run out, specifically the popular meatballs and the cheesecake. This was a bit disappointing for those who missed out. Despite these minor issues, the quality of the dishes I did receive was undeniably high. Bugatti Bistro clearly has a talented kitchen, and while the "Taste of the Gables" event might have stretched their capacity, the core culinary offerings are strong. With a bit more attention to stock management during busy periods, it could easily be a five-star experience.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time (today) during Miami Spice, and we were impressed. The service was good, and the food quality and presentation were good. But unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because... a flie flew into my husband's glass of wine, and it was swimming for a while before someone came, but the server exchanged without hesitation.

Bugatti Bistro: A Cozy Gem in Coral Gables My wife and I recently had dinner at Bugatti Bistro in Coral Gables, Florida, using gift cards from my brother-in-law. It's been a favorite spot of ours for years, so we were excited to visit again, especially on a Wednesday night—known for their famous lasagna. We made reservations, which turned out to be a good call since the place was pretty packed. Our server, Pablo, was friendly and helpful, walking us through the specials and making some great suggestions. My wife went for the lasagna, a dish that's become a Wednesday tradition due to its popularity. And it totally lived up to the hype—layers of meat, pasta, and cheese, with sauce on the side. I opted for the risotto with shrimp and Italian sausage, and it was just as good. For dessert, we shared the house-made ricotta cheesecake with raspberry sauce, which was a sweet ending to our meal. We washed it all down with Bugatti's house Chianti and Montepulciano wines, both of which were solid choices. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to save one of our gift cards for another visit. One of the best things about Bugatti Bistro is that you get excellent food and service without breaking the bank. It's definitely a place we'll keep coming back to.

"We gathered the whole chaotic clan at Bugatti in Coral Gables to celebrate Uncle Pedro's 90th, and let me tell you, the only thing richer than the Parmesan croutons was the family drama! My cousin swore his Minestrone had secret ingredients (he's still convinced it was the fountain of youth, given Uncle Pedro's spryness), The waiters, bless their patient souls, navigated our table like seasoned navigators charting a course through a particularly boisterous sea. Uncle Pedro, meanwhile, was holding court, regaling us with stories from the 1930s while simultaneously trying to sneak bites of everyone's Scaloppini di Pollo. The Tagliatelle alla Bolognese was so good, even my usually-picky nephew was silent for a full five minutes – a new record! And the desserts! The Crostata di Ricotta was divine, though I'm pretty sure my other cousin tried to pocket an extra Tiramisu for a midnight snack. All in all, Bugatti not only survived the Pedro's 90th birthday celebration, they thrived! Delicious food, beautiful ambiance, and enough laughter (and maybe a few tears, but we'll blame the excellent wine) to fill 90 more years. We'll definitely be back... once we've recovered from this one! Highly recommend for anyone who loves great Italian food and a side of memorable family chaos."

We had an incredible experience at La Taberna Giralda. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The mariscos paella was absolutely delicious, flavorful and perfectly cooked. You could tell it was made with care. The live flamenco performance was a standout. The singer’s voice was full of soul, and the dancer brought an incredible energy to the space. It felt like a little corner of Spain right in Coral Gables. What really made the evening special was the hospitality. The owner and servers were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel like part of the family. Their Coral Gables location is also amazing, with a warm atmosphere, flamenco dancing , and soccer events that make it such a lively spot. Highly recommend them both for catering and for dining in!

Restaurant
Morton's The Steakhouse is an upscale chain known for its aged prime beef, seafood, and traditional steakhouse dishes. With locations in Brickell, Coral Gables, and North Miami Beach, the restaurant promises consistent quality and impeccable service that has made it a favorite since its debut in Chicago in 1978. The setting at the Colonnades offers a unique elegance with outdoor seating under arches.
I know its a steakhouse so can’t comment on most of the food and or expect food for vegans or vegetarians I do have to say that there was a large assortment of sides and salads to chose from which were delicious. They were also very good at making food adaptations for you. Very nice and attentive bartenders with great drink selection and nice staff in general. Very cozy dining area well suited for a romantic date night. Bar area was better lit and very busy.

I booked the wrong location but they made room and seated a party of 4 with no problem. Our server took our order and never checked on us again. It got to the point that we were asking the manger to give us our bill … not great. Food: Steak was literally amazing and melting in your mouth. Lobster ravioli was a 10/10 but the sour cream mashed potatoes were literally so bland and dry. The wagyu meatball was a bit disappointing but 7/10. Triple cheeseburger 9/10. Would definitely come back to this location.

Tried the Miami Spice menu at Morton’s Coral Gables and it was absolutely worth it! The steak was cooked to perfection and the service was top notch definitely a must for steak lovers! From the Miami Spice menu ($60)I got Steakhouse Wedge Salad that was excellent, for the entree I had Center Cut Filet Mignon 8oz with Matchstick French Fries and to conclude with the dessert Espresso Pot de Crème. We also order a Prime Ribeye 16oz and it was simply perfect! Morton’s never disappoints, and when you go don’t forget to tell them Flavia sent you!

Came with my brother for his birthday. Everything was perfect: ambience, food, service. Our server Ralph was exceptional and made my brother's birthday extra special. I appreciate the attention and his food recommendations were on on point. Such a memorable experience. We might this a yearly tradition.

I came to lunch with a friend, and we had a great time. Our bartender and server Beatrice was incredible, her espresso martini was the best I've have had anywhere, she took the time to make a fresh espresso which I thought was really amazing. Beatrice was really funny and sweet and had all the guest in the bar laughing and having a good time. Our food was excellent. We both had Miami spice, and I thought it was a generous portion for being spice. I had the chicken Christopher it was so soft and flavorful. The truffle cream corn was great, and the chocolate mousse was decadent. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will be returning regularly.

Came for Miami Spice & was not disappointed - it was a great value for the price. Portions were very generous. We couldn't finish our meal so we ended up taking home dessert & leftovers. Service was very attentive. Outdoor seating was very nice. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Everything was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The service was outstanding and the food exquisite. We were celebrating a birthday and they went out of their way to make our evening memorable. Once seated, they already had personalized printed birthday menus, took our photos and delivered them in personalized paper frames, and treated us to a delicious complimentary lava cake. I highly recommend Morton’s if you want a fantastic dining experience with incredible food and service.

Our waiter Neb made the experience really special. It’s not necessarily the most trendy place in town, but the food is outstanding. They start you off with hot bread, the wedge salad is classic and the steak is perfection. I loved it.

Jungle Island is a tropical island theme park located on the MacArthur Causeway, offering an interactive experience with over 3,000 exotic animals and 500 plant species. Families can enjoy animal stage shows, aviaries, jungle trails, a petting farm, and educational exhibits. The park also features world-famous parrot shows, a Serpentarium, Jungle Theater, and an Everglades Habitat.
Oh this place was awesome!! I loved the animals, the aviary, the tree treks. I took my 5 y/o and 1 y/o and they loved it. Petting the turtles inside the aviary made them so happy! Be aware though, the parking is an extra $20.00

I absolutely do not recommend this place. There is no one to help you. The staff turn their faces away when they see you. I wanted to ask questions and get information about the animals, but I ended up getting all the information from Google. It’s nothing but a waste of time. And contrary to what you might expect, there isn’t much variety — for some reason, it’s mostly just birds

This place was awesome! Kind of like a small zoo but the REAL experience is the Lemur Experience. Getting to feed and hangout with the cute little Lemurs was an experience of a lifetime. Highly recommend if you're able to stop by.

This place was 10:10 highly recommend . It’s age appropriate for all ages . Plenty things to do waterpark splash, zip lining, tree trekking, animal shows, & sightseeing animals on the trail. Very nice workers and people friendly to help guide you through the park. The food and drinks is also a plus.

Neat little park. We got in with a promotion so for our family of 5 (one under 3) it was $90. We were told we had to purchase the bogo deal online and had to rejoin the line. There were smaller enclosures of animals (mostly birds) and open viewings of goats and parrots. The waterpark was good for our under 10 kids but the slide part was a bit dangerous. They make you sign the waiver because there is no one monitoring the slide area and making sure it is safe for others to go. My son was getting up from the slide when he was barreled into by another 2 children. The food options were decent but expensive. We went during the weekday and it was easily accessible.

Must-Know Info if You're Doing the Adventure Course! We had a great time at Jungle Island, but I want to share something super helpful‼️ If you're planning to do the Zipline & Adventure Course (Treetop Trekking), you do NOT need to buy a separate general admission ticket for the park. When someone buys the Adventure Course, it includes full access to the park for that person AND one guest! So if you're going for the obstacle courses — skip the general admission and just buy the adventure pass! Super fun and a great value 💯

Nestled in the heart of Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Art Cinema is a delightful haven for film enthusiasts seeking something beyond mainstream cinema. This charming boutique theater, which opened its doors in 2010, boasts a cozy seating capacity of 141 and features an impressive 28x12 screen equipped with cutting-edge 4K digital projection as well as traditional reel-to-reel capabilities.
A rarity in this city (I mean Miami). A quaint, personable, lovely place that serves great movies and exudes charm.

My favorite theater ever! ran and curated by a team of people who are truly passionate in the art of film/cinema. occasionally they'll have actual directors at their screening for a q&a. the community is amazing and being in a room with fellow film lovers is so amazing. right across from books & books too so after your movie you can head over and check out some books or even a live performance!! one of my favorite spots.

Been here for a few special screenings. Definitely appreciate the choices in films like Police Story or the Cowboy Bebop movie. Last night we went to see my favorite film Godzilla (1954) ironically on my birthday. Made it a very special night for me. Love this theater.
Nick H — Google review
Terrific local cinema devoted to bringing major releases as well as independent and art films to the neighborhood. The prices are not high but they're even more favorable if you get a membership. The sound system's great and both the digital and 35 mm projectors are in great shape. But It's not a large theater, so if you're coming for a popular Wes Anderson film, you might want to be 10 minutes early. The lobby snack bar has so many options, you'll never be able to try them all. I'm confident that there's nowhere else you could get a glass of wine and a bag of popcorn as cheaply. Thanks to John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the cinema will be upgrading soon to take over the patio furniture shop next door and add another screen.

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Luca Osteria is a modern and bright Italian restaurant in Miami, offering classic Italian cuisine with a slight twist. The ambiance is spacious yet cozy, making it perfect for a romantic evening. Known for its delicious homemade pasta dishes like bucatini with 600-day-cured prosciutto and rich short rib bolognese, Luca Osteria also serves indulgent interpretations of traditional Italian dishes.
Luca Osteria is an eclectic Italian restaurant with a minimalist design, and a very cool atmosphere. Our waiter Alejandro was of great help, giving us honest and thoughtful recommendations on what to try. We started with the carne cruda and the local stracciatella with honey & truffle, then moved on to the short rib Bolognese and the pesto. Both were absolutely incredible. For dessert, the pistachio semifreddo was outstanding and, in my opinion, a must. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

I've been to this Italian restaurant before, and it never disappoints! This visit was just as fantastic as the last. We were lucky to have Michell (hope I'm spelling that right!) as our server. Even though she mentioned she recently started working at the restaurant, you'd never know it-her service was phenomenal, and her recommendations were spot on. Big thanks to Michell and the whole team for making it a special night.

Had dinner here with my family this past weekend and I can see why it’s one of my mom’s favorites. Everything was incredible. Highlights for me were the patate fritte, truffle risotto, and pistachio ice cream affogato. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for sharing good food and conversation. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants.

This place is now going to be a monthly staple in my life. The food here is incredible. Everything we tasted left us wanting seconds. The appetizers are amazing, so many options that we almost didn’t have room for the main course. The truffle pasta was great not too heavy on the truffle taste but definitely a generous portion. The dessert was pretty good but if you love eating skip dessert and get more appetizers! 😄

The way this Truffle pasta changed my life 💗 for $59, I would 100% order it again and again. Absolutely delicious, I still think about it. We also had the Wagyu tartar, also SO GOOD. I was very pleased and very happy! I recommend and will definitely return.

I unfortunately had to deduct a star. We were charged for two items that we should not have been. Please take time to review your bill to avoid overpaying. Off the charts! 5 stars is the very least I could do! As we were without reservations, we were seated at the bar. What a turn of events and absolute treat this turned out to be! This was quite literally a chef's table experience! The staff here is just so kind, warm and inviting - they most certainly hotel right here. We were literally showered in warm hospitality! Non-alcoholic drinks were made to my imagination and the pasta was so, so comforting and good! As a finer dining sister restaurant to the wonderful Eating House, we should have expected nothing less! Chef, Anna, Danny, Oliver and Alex we can't thank you all enough! We are grateful for this experience and will be back for a repeat!

Bar
John Martin's Irish Pub & Restaurant has recently undergone a transformation, embracing a more contemporary Dublin style while still maintaining its traditional Irish beer and whiskey selection. The menu has been upgraded with delectable options like 24-hour brined Irish BBQ sauce wings and the classic John Martins Burger. The revamped interior brings in modernity without losing the venue's heart and heritage. With over 500 types of whisky, including rare casks, it boasts one of the largest collections in town.
I came here yesterday with my girlfriends for Galentine's, and boy, did we have a great time! The entire place was transformed into The Love Shack for a Valentine’s pop-up, and it felt so festive. For drinks, I tried the Berry Amour, and it was amazing. As for the food, it was surprisingly delicious. I had the mini pork osso bucco, which was much better than I had anticipated, along with burrata and Irish nachos with added brisket. The burrata paired wonderfully with the butternut squash and roasted beets. The Irish nachos cheese tasted different, as it was made with Guinness beer, but it was still delicious. The service was fantastic, despite the place being packed. There was also karaoke, and at one point, the entire place sang together. I absolutely enjoyed my time and would definitely return to this establishment.

Jared was an excellent server! Attentive and kind. Service was excellent, and food. Super loud. Other reviewers say the same thing it might be nice if they turn the volume down just a little? I had the pleasure of visiting John Martin's Pub and Restaurant in the city of Coral Gables on St. Patrick's Day. It was an incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the lively ambiance, complete with a DJ and awesome music, set the perfect tone for the afternoon. The restaurant was bustling with people, and there was a festival happening outside in the street, with John Martin's as one of the main sponsors. Despite the crowd, we were seated promptly and handed the menus. Our appetizers, chicken with sesame seeds and the irish nachos were simply delicious. For our main course , we opted for the Fish and Chips accompanied by fries. Our waitress was exceptional, ensuring that we were well taken car of throughout the afternoon, despite the busy atmosphere. I appreciated the option of both indoor and outdoor seating, providing flexibility for my guests. Additionally, the availability of valet parking or street parking was convenient. I am planning to return and bring my friends and family, it's a fantastic place where you can truly feel like family. Highly recommend!

Threefold Cafe, located in Coral Gables, is a popular spot known for its Australian-inspired menu and laid-back atmosphere. The cafe offers a gourmet breakfast menu featuring premium, locally sourced seasonal produce prepared in unique ways. Their baristas use freshly roasted beans from Panther Coffee to craft high-quality espresso drinks. Guests can savor signature dishes like smashed avocado on toast and ricotta pancakes while enjoying the trendy vibes and delicious eats.
We were looking for savory breakfast and found this place! DELICIOUS! They make coffee in house. We got avo toast with sun dried tomatoes & pesto. And hash browns on the side. It was filling, had the right crunch, the avo was perfect for our taste. We ended up getting an extra avo toast!

We went just for coffee. I had a cappuccino and hubby had a flat white. Both were delicious. Atmosphere was pretty quiet (we are the only ones in there). Very clean coffee shop.
Jaqueline O — Google review
I had high hopes for this place, but the experience was a letdown from the moment my coffee arrived. It was served in a heavily chipped and damaged enamel mug. I'm not talking about a quaint, rustic charm; I'm talking about jagged edges where the enamel has clearly flaked off. It's not only unappetizing to look at, but it raises serious concerns about hygiene and safety. Are there flakes of enamel in my drink? It's a health hazard waiting to happen. Service was great I have to say, she was as concerned as I and brought me coffee in a different cup.

I was in Miami to do a photo shoot and arrived early so I stopped by Threefold Café for breakfast. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the coffee was the perfect start to the morning. It took me ten years (!!) to get over to Threefold but so happy I made the trip! The Apple Crumb French Toast is perpetually going to live rent free in my head + heart, quality and meaty bacon, a killer lavender tea concoction, and one one of the most interesting hash browns I've ever had. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and wonderful softness/pure potato flavor inside. Normally I would want my hash browns to be salted more but the mild seasoning actually worked so well with everything else. Also made took me back to enjoying being on the boardwalk in the NE. Cool wind on the face and enjoying some boardwalk fries to boot! So love when food brings you back to lovely memories such as that. And it goes without saying that my server Monica really added that extra bit of awesome to the experience. Super lovely and such a great sense of humour! The only thing that will get a little nitpick from me is the coffee. Got a flat white (which was wonderfully smooth and strong) but would have love to see a little more nuance in the overall coffee flavor profile. Will make a point not to have it be another ten years to get back round to Threefold XD

One of my favorite places in the Gables. Today I decided to change things and not order the Brekkie Sanga, my favorite, and went with the avocado toast Italiano with a poached egg on top and a side of tomatoes. Absolutely delightful. One negative, though, I paid $38 for this breakfast. A bit too much for an avocado toast, isn’t it?

My wife & I had the best brunch here with a friend! We all enjoyed coffee & mango mimosas. It was a relaxing atmosphere with delicious food! My wife LOVES dill on anything, so she really enjoyed the herb eggs with a hash brown on the side. I tried the brekkie sandwich which hit the spot! Our server Rashad went above & beyond to make sure we had a memorable time. We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Miami!

Hillstone is an upscale chain restaurant known for its stylish and spacious setting. It has been a popular fine dining destination for nearly two decades, featuring a modern and warm atmosphere designed by Frederick Fisher and others. The menu offers a unique twist on American classics, including handcrafted sushi, prime steaks, and their signature tres leches with fresh fruit for dessert.
Absolutely amazing! The food, drinks, and service here are worth every penny. Not only is everyone attentive, they are also friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The tuna tartar is delicious and enough to share. Definitely order sushi, even if it's just one roll to share. The corn is a must! And don't forget dessert!

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The service is absolutely impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional. The cocktails are top-tier, beautifully balanced and crafted with care. The food is delicious, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but well worth it for the overall quality and ambiance. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially during peak hours. Can’t wait to come back!

We’ve been to Hillstone in Coral Gables a number of times over the years, and while the food has always been excellent, the vibe from the staff has often felt a bit impersonal. We haven’t experienced this in other Hillstone owned restaurants out side of this location. This probably a result of taming the classic Miami happy hour crowd. After taking a year off, we were pleasantly surprised on our most recent visit. The staff was noticeably warmer and more welcoming than in the past. Our bartender Janet and manager Jules were amazing. We tried the Firehouse Chili was delicious and the Home-Smoked Salmon, which was outstanding. Being asked for a credit card at the bar while seated felt like a move more typical of a lower-end spot, but maybe it’s a necessary policy given some of the clientele. All in all, it was a great experience. We’ll definitely be back just not on Friday or Saturday nights when the bar is busier.
Richard F — Google review
Had lunch there today and it was fantastic. The shrimp and macadamia nut roll and the chargrilled artichokes were perfect, as was the chicken sandwich and kale salad. The team work at this restaurant is impressive, making the service here outstanding. Excellent experience.
Karyn F — Google review
The service was excellent, and the food was as good as always — thank you. However, I was quite disappointed by the guest dress code during my visit. While I understand the need for flexibility, several guests were dressed in workout shorts, athletic shoes, and even appeared unkempt after exercising, which created an unpleasant atmosphere — especially at dinner time. It’s unfortunate, as I was celebrating my 15-year wedding anniversary, and the overall ambiance felt far below the elegant standard that this restaurant is known for. I truly hope the management will reinforce a more appropriate dress code to preserve the dining experience and the restaurant’s well-deserved reputation.

Niu Kitchen is a charming rustic cafe and wine bar located in Downtown Miami, offering an authentic selection of Spanish small plates. The restaurant's concept is described as straddling the line between madness and genius, making it an ideal spot for adventurous dates. The menu features creative interpretations of Iberian Peninsula dishes such as Galician octopus, brothy clams, and flavorful paella with seafood and aioli.
I really liked this place! We went on a wednesday night so not busy at all. Food came out quick and extra delicious. We ordered an assortment of foods and everything was a hit! Especially loved the Ous, the artichoke, and the gamba al ajillo. Super fresh, lovely tasting food and a very charming atmosphere. Staff were so nice and attentive as well. One thing I will say, is that you might want to order a few side orders of bread since a lot of the dishes really benefit from having it, but do not come with it (like sopping up all the delicious sauce from the gamba al ajillo). I don’t think you can really go wrong with anything you order on the menu. There was only one thing I did not particularly like, which was the foie gras, but I think that’s only because the pairings on this dish overpower the foie. I’m chalking it up to personal preference taste though. Overall great spot, very happy I stopped in.

The go-to tapa place in Miami. Quality ingredients paired with authentic flavors of Spanish cuisine makes dining at NIU kitchen an outstanding experience.

I’ll fully admit—I’ve written a review for Niu Kitchen before, but it deserves another. I’ve been in this industry for 16 years, worked alongside some of the top chefs in the game, and grew up with my grandmother, who was a chef at the Waldorf. I’d like to think I know what I’m talking about. And I can say with absolute confidence: Niu Kitchen isn’t just one of my favorite restaurants in the U.S.—it is my favorite restaurant in the United States. This little slice of Spain in downtown Miami is understated at first glance. But once you sit down, you’ll feel it: the warmth, the soul, the authenticity. What sets Niu apart—beyond its incendiary food—is its people. While so many restaurants around them are turning and burning through staff, Niu has kept the same loyal faces for nearly a decade. That kind of consistency and heart is rare in this industry, and it shows. I’m grateful this gem survived the pandemic, because they deserve every bit of praise. The food is transportive. I lose myself every time I dine here—each bite better than the last. The Bronzino tartar is a must, the legendary ous (only on Tuesdays, so book ahead!) is a revelation, and the squid ink arroz will stop you in your tracks. Don’t miss Chef Deme’s new clam dish, a family recipe from his mother—it’s soulful, heartfelt cooking at its best. For me, no trip to Miami is complete without a visit to Niu Kitchen. It will forever hold the most special place in my heart and truly feels like home.

This is my go-to for a healthy lunch! Absolutely amazing everytime! So healthy, delicious and amazing vibes! I always feel so good after eating since they use raw ingredients and no seed oils! They also have GF options! I recommend getting the salon, sweet potatoes, carrots and beet sauce. So delish! One of my favorite lunches in Miami!

What a gem! We need GF, no dairy/no egg. Found what we wanted with several options here. And the GF baguette was perfection! We had the roasted artichokes and mushroom paella. So satisfying to eat such good food!!! Photo of our empty paella pan because I dove in so fast.

If you only have one night to dine in Miami, this is the spot! Chefs Lomas and Cabrera put their hearts into every dish, and the team makes you feel like family. Great wine selection and top-tier music. ¡Gracias!

Amazing spanish food! Best tomatoe bread then Artichoke, paella, octopus, camarones al ajillo! And sarah the best giving the best service!
Arturo P — Google review
The food had good taste, but the portions were small. The service was average.
