The guava pancakes were amazing, great texture and taste. Exactly what I wanted when I saw them and imagined them, the service is great. Mario was very helpful and explained the portion sizes well, very friendly and attentive to all requests. The space is minimalist and warehouse-reminiscent, large and grey but showcase the pastries and artwork well. My party liked the food and coffee they ordered but I found my coffee a little weak for my tastes, overall excellent place. Would like to go again given the opportunity.

From the beginning to the end, BACHOUR won't stop to amaze you. The decor was beyond stellar. Our server Tania R. was very knowledgeable of their menu. She helped us to decide for our brunch. The "GUAVA PANCAKES" were fluffy. They had guava in between the layers, and on top, the guava paste with their own churned butter was great. The "AREPA FRITTERS"!!! this was a great surprise with cheese inside. Their "STRAWBERRY AND MASCARPONE CROISSANT" was so good, we promised ourselves to come back to try ALL OF THEM. Flaky and filled to perfection. We couldn't dare to leave without trying one of their amazing desserts creations. We had "THE ROSE" with an Strawberry jelly, pistachio,panna cottage, and an incredible almond cake, all inside this work of art. If you want to treat your senses and palate to a retreat of great flavors, go to BACHOUR.

We came here for breakfast and every bite was pure joy. The Crab Benedict was absolute perfection — soft-boiled eggs, fresh crab, silky hollandaise and roasted potatoes on the side — it was beautifully balanced. The Tuna Salad Sandwich was simple but flawless: crispy baguette, fresh tuna, arugula — light and satisfying. And of course… the pastries. Truly world-class. We tried a few signature desserts — and each one was a masterpiece, both visually and taste-wise. You can feel the chef’s artistry in every detail. This place absolutely lives up to the Michelin recognition. Friendly staff, fast service, and phenomenal food. Worth every mile we drove. Will definitely come back!

This is hands down the best restaurant I’ve loved in the U.S. Every visit has been a consistently wonderful experience. The cappuccino and matcha latte are always made to perfection—rich, smooth, and beautifully crafted. Their croissants are flawless, with that perfect balance of crisp exterior and soft, buttery interior. The desserts are both stunning and delicious, showcasing real attention to flavor and presentation. Their dinner items are also excellent, offering great variety and flavor without being overly complicated. I come here every time I visit Miami, reliably good pastry/breakfast shop. The waiters are always so nice too. It’s quiet with a lot of seating available, we enjoyed our brunch here. It’s slightly pricier than regular bakery but is worth every penny.

I have fond memories of Bachour, as I used to live nearby. I’ve visited several times, and each experience was truly enjoyable, especially because of their delightful pastries! From my very first visit, I’ve always felt satisfied. While the service has occasionally been a bit slow, it hasn't bothered me since I usually take my time. I really appreciate the outdoor ambiance; it makes for a lovely atmosphere.

It's 4 hours from where I live, but I still make it a few times a year. It's that good! Any time I have a layover at MIA for an international flight, I stop and get a box of viennoiserie to take with me. Love Antonio and his team! I did baking and pastry for several years, and this place knows how to do it right.

I'm stupid glad we slid thru this spot for breakfast. We were there on a Friday morning, so it wasn't crazy crowded, but I can easily see how it would be. The layout is nice and open, where you can see the bakers baking from your table. There's also a nice coffee/takeout counter up front. Our server was very attentive, and as I always appreciate, she made us feel at home. The menu isn't crazy extensive, and that made ordering a lot easier. I went right for the French toast. Just a couple thick slices of fresh-baked bread brought together into one big ol' slab of decadence. I'm gonna describe it just like it's written on the menu, "Brioche dipped in Vanilla Bean Custard, layered with Florida Pecan Butter, Crème Anglaise, Blueberry Coulis, Whipped Cream & ZTB Farmhouse Lemon Thyme", yeah, all that and then some. It was so deliciously rich I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. We also had the Egg Platter with two eggs, crazy crispy delicious smashed potatoes, labneh, pickled onions on top of fresh avocado, marinated olives, and spelt sourdough. That was fresh and impressive as well. I had the hibiscus lemonade, and it was worth the words I've heard describing it, "Awesome and alone worth the visit". All in all, I was very pleased with this spot and would recommend visiting. If I lived around there, it would easily become one of my morning treats. Oh yes, the restrooms were very clean and well-equipped.There are two individual rooms (is that the right word?).

My husband and I ordered breakfast — one egg platter and one avocado toast. The taste and quality were great, but the bread portion was disappointingly small, especially for a bakery. This was particularly surprising with the egg platter, where the bread came as two tiny strips alongside the labneh — not even equal to a single slice. The bigger issue, however, was the service — slow, inattentive, and unfriendly. Aside from the hostess, no one seemed interested in engaging with us. It took a while for someone to take our order, even longer for the food to arrive, and no one checked on us afterward. When we finally managed to get someone’s attention for the check, it was handed over without a word, barely any eye contact, and certainly no thank you or goodbye. Perhaps the mandatory 18% service charge has something to do with it — if the tip is guaranteed, there seems to be no motivation to provide decent service. Overall, while we really like this place for its baked goods, we won’t be returning for dine-in. It seems better suited for grab-and-go, or for picking up their bread at Whole Foods.

Incredible bakery in the Wynnwood area of Miami. I have been looking forward to going to this bakery for a while based upon it’s reviews, and the food is amazing. Large on-site bakery produces some unique items and fresh bread. I had an almond croissant that was very good. Highly recommended.

I have heard so many good things about Zak The Baker over the years but after trying Zak The Baker for the first time, I honestly don’t see what the hype was about. I’ll go into more details below: I went to Zak The Baker for a weekday lunch and was seated with minimal wait. It took a few minutes for a server to greet me and the service was overall pretty cold. The restaurant has a mandatory 18% service charge and the staff didn’t seem to care about providing good service because the gratuity was already tacked on to the bill. I ordered a Cold Brew Coffee ($5.50) to start. The coffee was good and locally brewed in Miami. The server advised they only have Whole, Almond, and Oat milk for creamer, pretty limited in my opinion for the cost of the coffee. For food, I loved the variety of fresh and locally grown items. I wanted to get the Caesar Salad but add a protein, and the server advised they can’t add proteins to the salad because “they are a fully Kosher kitchen and restaurant” and he seemed to get an attitude about it. The restaurant doesn’t advertise themselves as being a fully Kosher restaurant or I would have never come here as I don’t have a need to pay a premium to dine at a fully Kosher restaurant. The server advised the only protein they could provide was Salmon and it would be prepared on a separate plate. So I opted on spending less and getting the Tomato Bisque and Grilled Cheese ($15). The tomato bisque was really good, the sandwich was average and the servers completely disappeared after my food arrived and I left as soon as I flagged someone down for my check. My stomach was messed up later in the day after my meal so I’m not really sure about their food preparation at the restaurant and won’t go back.

The great thing about Zak the Baker is how they keep prices low while still using high quality ingredients they even harvest from their own farm! Extremely affordable which is amazing for Miami, especially in Wynwood. I had a sandwich for $12, honestly…you can’t beat that.The servers knew what they were talking about, super knowledgeable ,made the whole experience really smooth & welcoming. The space is bright, cozy, and it’s the kind of place that reminds you why simple, honest food can feel special. My experience was nothing short of exceptional . The best part was taking home a box of pastries to share with my family, you can really taste how fresh they are . Definitely a Miami gem .

The display case was filled with the most beautiful, masterfully made pastries. We were tempted by them all but settled on a bagel since we were visiting—if we lived here, we would have gotten a loaf for the week! What we got: - Nova Bagel 3.5/5. one of the better meals I had in Miami! The pickled onion was a colorful touch. The bagel itself was ok. - Frisee Salad 4/5. in dire need of veggies on the trip. hit the spot with its freshness. I liked the amount of dressing it came with but my partner felt it was too drenched and overwhelming. I’m sure if we got other pastries, they would have been fantastic! We arrived at 11:30am on a Monday in June and had no wait! After we arrived, the place was quite busy with people coming in. The staff was polite and they said that a few people cover an area so they support each other. The glass, open kitchen was gorgeous and fun to watch the busy staff prepping for the next day’s baked goods.

If you want to experience the perfect cafe au lait with a traditional canelé… this is the place. We have been coming back for more than 15 years now!

First time trying this place, I was a little skeptical about ordering food since i saw they are a pastry/bake shop but I ordered the seafood special of the day (Salmon with teriyaki stir fried veggies and a salad) and it was DELICIOUSSSS! I will be ordering it again next Thursday lol! so much flavor and prepared perfectly! I also ordered 3 macaroons (lavender, coffee, raspberry) soooo yummy! Lucky to have found this place so close to my job.

I went recently to pick some bags from Too Good to Go. The two people working there kept saying they couldn’t see me swiping that I had gotten the bags despite me showing them. They took a very long time to give the bags and even longer to simply staple them. I told them my car was parked in a spot where I couldn’t park and that I’d need to leave soon and if they could please hurry and they didn’t care. There weren’t even people whose order they were taking so I’m honestly not even sure why this took so long. I’ve previously come to pick up things in this store and they have always been ready by the time I get there. I’m frankly a bit disappointed from the experience this time as I do love the store’s decor and even more the food sold.

Beautiful pastries, coffee. Yummy, delicious and high quality. Like being in Paris but in Coral Gables. The menus looks amazing although we didn’t try any of the food. Definitely will be back for that.

My favorite bakery in Miami 🌾 bakes fresh, real bread and pastries that taste exceptional, very similar to those in Europe. I highly recommend the baguette, the fruit and nut bread, and the croissants. They are delicious!

Went to get breakfast here this morning and it was great. The line was long but it moved fast. I got an egg sandwich and it was amazing. So much flavor and the right amount of everything. The bread was also perfect and so delicious. It was so light and everything stayed in the sandwich and didn’t fall out. Highly recommend.

Right so…..I’m a complicated guy that likes simple things…today I was blessed. My friend recommended this place because I was close by and wanted a bite. She said the egg sandwich was great and that it’s a great spot. I believed her. I came in to a line that went out the door a touch. A gentleman was holding the door open for those waiting, I later found out his name is Larry. He asked me how I was doing with real interest, and we chatted for a second. He recommended the chori pan on special, although after telling him it’s my first time - he agreed that the egg sandwich was a great thing to try first. I ordered a cortado and a chocolate cookie as well. Leisa helped me order and she is a lovely joy to order from. The food came out quick as did the coffee. I sat down and spilled my coffee while putting sugar. They helped me clean it and brought me a new one without even asking… The sandwich was exquisite. Bacon was kind of caramelized, so it had a nice bite and thickness. The egg immediately bursted, providing for a nice dip. Complete perfect sandwich. They got water on tap as well for the guests. It’s cold and that was a nice touch. As for the flourless chocolate cookie…perfect once again. This might be the most detailed review I’ve written, as the experience has required it of me. Initially I was apprehensive to spend the money, as it was $23 including tip for all this. But…I knew that you get what you pay for, and now I’m ready to do some good work and continue to have a powerful day… So thank you to the team. Especially the staff that helped clean my mess. We stopped by for a morning treat and were blown away by the quality of everything we tried. The chocolate croissant was perfectly flaky with a generous, rich chocolate center – one of the best I’ve had outside of Europe. Madruga Bakery is an absolute gem! They serve one of the best sourdough breads I’ve ever tasted - perfectly tangy and wonderfully crusty. The Basque cheesecake is another standout, always hitting the spot with its rich, creamy texture and perfect balance of flavors. But the real star for me is their matcha - buttery, creamy, and smooth with that umami taste, but not too bitter. It’s just the right balance, with the true flavor of matcha coming through without needing any sweetener. I also tried their iced vanilla latte, and it was hands down the best I’ve had! You really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu; everything is crafted to perfection. From the sourdough to the Basque cheesecake, each bite is a treat. Highly recommend!

Loved loved this cafe. Baked good where delicious. We got the almond croissant, blueberry muffin and a slice of peach pie to go. We loved it. Cappuccino took me back to Italy and the egg sandwich is a must have. Unfortunately seating is difficult because it is a small space but you can pre order and it makes it a bit easier. We just had the best meal here. Jorge was the most excellent server ever. He was very attentive and made thoughtful and helpful suggestions for drink, meal, and dessert options. The stuffed chicken with Moro rice and plantains was fantastic. The vaca frita empanadas were chef’s kiss. It was extremely difficult to pick a dessert with all the delectable options, but the coconut bread pudding with ice cream was amazing. Highly recommend!

AMAZING! We were group of 15 and this place was smooth and easy breezy handling big groups!! Lorena was fabulous and so patient with us! Food was fantastic, all of us were very happy with our meal choices and all around same sentiment as we can’t wait to come back. We drove from Texas to eat here! We used to come eat here when we lived in Fort Lauderdale. We are back for business and barely got into town before we drove down. The food is unmatched. The atmosphere so lovely! The service is perfection!

Every time I’m in Wynwood, I have to stop here and get their pecan pie. It is the best pecan pie I’ve had as it’s not overly sweet. Their salted caramel pie is also delicious but I forgot to take a picture of that. The service is always excellent and the ambience is very cheerful with its colorful decorations. I will always be returning here whenever I’m craving something sweet.

I visited the Wynwood location after dinner to grab a pie slice before heading home. The attached pictures is exactly what I was served and no, I had not taken a bite out of it yet. I was basically served all whip cream. Especially for being called the “cookie monster”, this order was completely lacking. The quality of Firemen Derek’s has gone down since I first started going.

Fireman, Derek, your cakes used to be so soft so moist so delicious like I used to anticipate waiting to eat just that first bite I could remember. My mouth used to be so watery I used to feel so alive with every piece of cake or pie but lately I don't even know what to say. i'm eating cornbread and cornbread. I should put that in there too cardboard is that the word because when I put my fork through the K it crumbles apart nothing stuck together. Nothing is fresh. Nothing is wholesome. Nothing is fluffy. Nothing is soft. Nothing is soft melting in my mouth my mouth is not watery. i'm so disgusted and so disappointed that you guys have allowed your brand your standards. The taste the value to diminish it by not giving people fresh food when I say I used to order from you guys like every other day every week and to just ordered this last confetti cake, birthday cake or whatever cake you wanna call it with the sprinkles it was horrible man. Yeah yeah I gotta get it together. Get it together. Give people what they pay for this is not free when I'm picking up free food from you guys we're paying for fresh food. I mean I would only expect something fresh when you go to a restaurant when you sit down to eat that they're giving you something fresh. Please do better. Keep it FRESH everyday‼️

I have been a loyal customer of FIREMAN DEREK’s since the store opened. I have enjoyed many of your baked products , including crackpies, guava cookies, and Oreo cheesecake pies. However, my experience at the WYNWOOD store today has left me deeply disappointed and motivated to never return. The lack of respect and civility displayed by your manager was truly unacceptable. I arrived at the store and ordered a few items, including a slice of “CRACKPIE”. I took a bite while and immediately realized that the pie was stale and frozen. I explained to the manager that the pie was not fresh and didn’t taste right. Her response was dismissive and arrogant. She claimed that they didn’t get fresh pies because they were delivered twice or three times a week and that they had three stores, so they couldn’t possibly have fresh pies every day. This attitude was unnecessary , especially for a simple question. It doesn’t even make sense: since FIreman Derek’s have 3 stores, shouldn’t they be able to deliver fresh products ? you have Specially I had paid for a fresh piece of pie, and I didn’t expect to be served something frozen and unappetizing. If the pies are not FRESH, please put up signs !!! It’s only fair with the customer to know they are not paying for fresh pie. When I asked what I could do about the situation, I offered to get another product to substitute. After she cut the slice, to my shock, she asked me to pay for it. As a side note, the full pie I had purchased and paid for was already in the trash. She asked me if I was going to eat it, and I said no, so she put it in the trash bin. She insisted that she couldn’t give me “free food,” but the point is that it wasn’t free. I had paid for something and didn’t get what I paid for. Any decent business would try to make a customer happy, especially a loyal one. This manager turned her back on me the moment I asked for her name and went to the back of the store, never to return. I want to make it clear that during all this time, I spoke to everyone in a respectful tone and didn’t make a scene or yell at anyone. I simply expected the situation to be resolved in a civilized manner. This is not about a bad experience, a bad slice of pie, or even about the $10 I wasted in the trash. This is about a business’s respect for its customers. I left your store feeling frustrated and completely disrespected. If you don’t want to run out of business maybe you should be more concerned with keeping customers, perhaps you should be more cautious about who you hire as a manager and make decisions on your behalf. I don’t have the name of this manager because she didn’t provide it. Three unhelpful and arrogant workers were involved in this situation. No one offered any assistance. They all kept pointing to the policy signs, as if I were trying to “scheme the system.” All I wanted was a fresh slice of pie and to go home happily.

Ordered ahead for a 12 person dulce de leche pavlova. I ended up also buying a small tres leches, and a slice of carrot cake. All items were fresh and delicious. This place is on the second floor, is small with no where to sit and wait. None of the items were overly sweet and hit the spot. I tried calling multiple times and left a message once but never received a call back and no one ever answered the phone. It’s a shame there is not a location closer to Kendall.

Hands down the best confectionery in Key Biscayne. The famous Pavlova is known even outside the borders…..due to its unique amazing beauty and taste. Highly recommend it.Just don’t forget to order way, way in advance. They sold out quickly.

I had a terrible experience ordering a birthday cake for my daughter’s 18th. The whole process was frustrating from start to finish. When placing the order, there was no way to specify the number for the cake, and despite emailing and calling multiple times, no one ever answered or responded. There was never any confirmation, and it felt impossible to reach a real person. The lack of communication and complete disregard for customer service made what should have been a special occasion incredibly stressful. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I canceled the order and now am having a hard time getting a refund for the $300 cake.

WORST COMMUNICATION SERVICE!!! One week trying to contact them to order a cake, they don’t answer the phone, they don’t respond to messages, they just call you back whenever they are available. When we finally were able to be in touch with them we set up time of delivery and the address… guess what they didn’t show up and NOBODY WILL TAKE THE CALL… $300 for a cake

The go to place for special events desert it is always a winner with the Strawberry Pavlova made of walnut meringue filled of dulce de leche, whipped cream topped with fresh strawberries. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Birthday All enjoy and ask for Piononos information for there events. Service is good never disappointed even with the volume for this home made style establishment.

The decoration of this bakery is stunning!! Full of details and very colorful! They even have a space just to take pictures. In terms of the bakery items, their target is more vegan and gluten free customers. I am not vegan nor gluten free so personally, the taste was average for me. Not too much flavor. The presentation of the items and decoration is very nice.

This cute little spot is very nice. The cupcakes are mostly vegan and taste amazing! They have also one bite sized cakes which are very delicious too. Their guava cupcakes? A must. I found them to be a bit expensive but with good quality comes a steeper price. Definitely recommend

Very very cute place!! Gluten free and so tasty this cupcakes. Prices are high but you should not compare them with regular cupcake places because these are vegan and gluten free. Located in downtown Doral that I love and parking is free. They have a couple of tables outside for your convenience.

I was so happy to visit Downtown Doral and see Bunnie Cakes. I’ve followed this baker for a few years when my daughter needed gluten free. It brought me joy to see the growth she’s made and the yummy treats all looking amazing. Made sure to get some to bring home can’t wait to visit again….much success and hoping you expand to Broward soon.

Loved this place! The people were so nice. When I told the woman behind the counter that we were from Chicago, and had then driven from Fort Lauderdale to come to the bakery, she was very excited and immediately handed us a cupcake to try. ☺️ My daughter is vegan so she had been dying to visit. It was definitely worth the trip! I'm not vegan and tend to be skeptical about the taste of vegan baked goods. We got a container of assorted mini cupcakes. Everything we tried was fantastic! The Taste was great, cupcakes were moist, and had the perfect consistency. Loved it!

Please save your time and money! I was super excited for the cake; thus, this event was so important to me that I ordered it with a week in advanced. I was constantly emailing Jamie to make sure everything was fine for that day. It was for a graduation and it is so disappointing that even the guests saw the cake and said, “I hope you didn’t pay more the $40 for this cake.” Honestly, I paid $120 to have a cake look rushed, broken and uneven. They asked me to take the cake back, when it was their responsibility to deliver a cake to their highest standards as they advertised and guarantee their customers. If a customer is willing to pay a lot of money for a cake, please don’t sell it with the purpose to tell the customer “bring it back so we can fix the imperfections.” As to this point, I requested to speak with the office manager and no call or emails have been sent to me! Again, don’t waste your time and money. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone!

Walked in for the first time today and said to the team member, “beautiful place you have here. Today is my wedding anniversary, can you help me pick out the best cupcakes for my wife and I?” The young lady greeted with a warm smile and was very accommodating and helpful. PS, the cupcakes she picked for us were absolutely delicious! We will be back!

Gilberts is definitely not what it used to be. The service was terrible, with one older lady at the register that takes for ever. I decided to stop by today as I hadn't been there in years. I bought 3 croquetas and 3 pastelitos. when eating my croqueta, I bit into something hard and pulled out of my mouth a wrapped up plastic. Seems they rolled the croquetas with platic wrapping. Ugh. No more, thank you.

I used to love Gilbert’s Bakery when it first opened; it had such a great reputation and amazing food. I hadn't been there in years, so I was excited to stop by today and picked up a variety of items. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the quality. The only thing that stood out in a good way was the chicken empanada. Everything else was mediocre at best. The croquetas were overpriced and not tasty, the pastelitos de guayaba had a strange flavor and just weren't good, and the sandwiches were bland. The carne fría, in particular, seemed old and not fresh. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and it’s clear that the quality has gone down over the years. Any Cuban bakery in Miami can provide better and tastier items at a better price.

Today I bought some chicken menezier at your bakery on Bird Road and I was appalled when I saw the pastelitos and had my first bite. The quality of the product is horrible and so is the chicken filling. Gilbert’s has always been known for the high quality of the products but it is a shame that is not anymore. I have been a customer for years and I am very disappointed.

Among the worst empanadas I’ve had. Croquetas were embarrassing. Small menu, refused to make an iced coffee, overpriced. Don’t recommended. This is a picture of the beef empanada, does it look appetizing ?

My family has been buying their famous rum cake for years, and knew that's what my husband and I wanted for our November 2023 wedding. Eva, the baker, crafted a cake that was beyond my expectations and guests kept asking for seconds, and thirds.

We've been ordering Lucilas Cakes all my life, and they never disappoint. Most recently we ordered a cake for my baby shower, and the final result exceeded my expectation. I’ve been a customer of this bakery for a little over three years now, and I truly love it! Their desserts are always fresh, and the service is consistently amazing. The girls who work there are always so kind and welcoming. For about four or five birthdays, between family and friends, we’ve ordered their cakes, and believe me, they never miss. The cakes are always moist, flavorful, and beautifully made. I’ve tried so many of their desserts: the passion fruit pie, Nutella cream puff, strawberry cream puff, their cookies, brownies, and recently a new one they have, the mixed berries pavlova which was absolutely incredible. If you’re looking to order a birthday cake or just treat yourself to something sweet and delicious, this is definitely the place to go!

I ordered cake for myself and my husband’s birthday. It was ready on time. My cake was red velvet which is so tasty, my husband’s cake was cookies and cream tast as well. Everyone loved both and asked where I got them. My husband’s (left) had a little accident from our side but it was looking awesome.

The designs were spot on, and the flavors were incredible. Even today when there was a mix-up and my cake wasn’t ready at the scheduled time, they immediately made it right by baking a new one that was ready within an hour and a half — and they even gave me six matching cupcakes for free! This place was recommend to us. I think it's the best avocado toast that I have ever tried. It was delicious. During our stay we went back few times. Everything that I tried was great. They use quality ingredients and you can taste it.

What a great find. Driving around Coral Gables we just happened to stop in here. Fantastic baked goods including not just fabulous sweets, but brunch-type items like ham and egg croissants. Incredibly friendly, efficient staff. Clean place with great karma. Janeth was quite helpful with my Spanish, too!

I had a great time during this visit. The francesinha and the bacalhau burger were outstanding, not to mention the pasteis de nata. Friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely I am coming back. The only downside was the parking, but it is worth to wait for a spot.

Can’t wait to go back again. Their Serrano ham sandwich looks too basic for the price but it’s worth every penny. Their pastries are fresh and delicious. Although it might be too sweet for some people. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Phenomenal donuts. You really get what you pay for. Each one tastes like a completely different dessert you would get from a sit down restaurant. Not simply a "blank" flavored donut. Most are large. I’m a little late on writing this review but I promised myself I wouldn’t forget too. I went in like 2 weeks ago right before taking a state exam next door at Pearson view . I was tired and really sleepy. I went in like 45 minutes before my exam to have a coffee , donut and study a little more . I was greeted by John ( I hope I’m not getting his name wrong ). I told him , I needed something to wake me up . He made his recommendations and I got an ice coffee and a min keylime donut . I told him I was taking a big teaching test shortly . He was AMazing!!! He checked on me about my coffee and donut . Then I overheard him tell his co workers how he hoped I passed my test . I told him thank you ! He was like “ we need teachers so I really hope you do well .” I loved my coffee and the donut . To be honest there was nothing mini about that donut . It was smaller than the others but definitely mighty . The filling tasted just like a keylime pie . I genuinely enjoyed it but what made my visit so extra special was John’s customer service . When I left he wished me luck and even told me to come back and let him know if I passed my test . He was like you just got to believe that you already passed. I feel like I ended up at the right place before my test , with a genuinely happy and positive person . I passed my test! I went back to tell him but he had already gone for the day . I hope the owners see this review and that I got the right name . You have an amazing employee . I got way more than a coffee and donut . I got a great customer service experience, that now I will positively always remember. Those state exams make you really nervous and his positivity made a difference. By the end two other workers even wished me luck . Thank you John, for going above and beyond !

The donuts at The Salty are always baked fresh to perfection, and you know it’s made in house especially when you walk in, the smell of the bacon is unforgettable and captivating. Definitely must try the Maple & Bacon donut!!

A good spot to have brunch in Coral Gables. All dishes were tasty, came in copious portions, and super nicely presented. All ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Also the beverages were well prepared. The service is kind, quick, and most of the times present for any request or inquiry.

The food was exquisite and the pastries were absolute perfection. The staff was lovely and made the experience even better. Andres and Adriana gave me the best recommendations and I left perfectly satisfied. My mom got two guava and cream cheese pastries even though she only planned to order one and didn’t share with me she loved it so much and I got a chocolate one and the eggs Benedict with crab. I wish I could've stayed in the area to try them all. The whole menu was tantalizing. At the end, I was washing my hands and one of my veneers fell out and the holes in the drain seemed too small for it to fit through. Andres and Adriana helped me look thoroughly for 15 minutes with no luck and I wasn’t even phased because of my wonderful experience. So happy with this place!! Mucho cariño en L’Artisane. I don’t know how long this bakery has been open because there is still a menu posted on their door about pizza but there is no atmosphere in the dining area. It is bland and cold but we did take out and sat on a bench outside a bathroom anyway because all tables were full. The other seating option is bar seating. As for the food. It was exceptionally good. We had the ABC (almond, banana, and chocolate) croissant which was amazing. We also had a croissant with egg and fillings in it that was delicious. It was not like a croissantwich, it was more like a frittata of sorts but with the croissant as the dough. We were hoping to get a horchata matcha we read about but apparently that was last months special. I asked about this months special and there was none. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have cream for coffee. I think it is a staple for a place that sells coffee but definitely a Miami thing with so many people used to milk/mylks in their coffee. If you are visiting, know that there is a toll to go into the island that this place is on but the views will be worth it.

Omg!!! This is the best egg sandwich in Miami!! Garantee!!! And the house fries are addicting.. delicious. ... the orange juice is 100% natural. Our friends recommended this place following our south Florida Ruck Club meet up and it was phenomenal! We were sooo hungry we didn’t remember to take pics before eating so will definitely be back and order the same to capture the Shakshuka and the customized Avocado Toast that includes smoked salmon and pickled beets (recommendation from Juan our server). We finished off with an Almond Croissant. Mmm mm mm!

Found my go-to bakery in soflo! There is certainly a lack in quality, local, and trendy bakeries in the area. Being from Chicago and having traveled quite a bit, this bakery reminds me of something you would easily find in Chicago, NYC, Boston, etc. It has the it factor. Isn’t too try hard and they’ve got a blend of fresh and creative flavors. Waiting for the cardamom bun to return in the fall! Fun and vibrant ambience in a Sunday morning- the place was packed! So excited to return once they return!

This coffee shop nails the little things. The minimal, concrete vibe with wood stools and a sleek counter feels modern yet warm, and the staff are excellent. The ice in the coffee is crisp and clean, showing their attention to quality. But what amazed me most were the napkins—a small detail, yet chosen with such care that it speaks volumes about the shop’s thoughtfulness. When even the napkins impress you, you know every part of the experience has been considered.

It has taken me a long time to come to terms with the fact this is best bakery in the united states. I am a bakery lover. I have been to countless bakeries around the country and world to find the best and how lucky am I to have found the best bakery in the country a few miles away from my home (am i lucky or does the universe just want me to gain weight?). The croissants are the best I’ve ever had. I don’t know what they put in the dough, but it is phenomenal. I went over the weekend and they had cardamom buns which I had been looking forward to for weeks because there is no cardamom buns in the United States that are worth having quite frankly. Now these are worth having. I wanted to gate keep so bad but I can’t anymore. Baker and Barista deserves all the hype and more.

What an amazing experience! Our 3 day trip to Miami we stopped by the first day when we just happened upon it while walking. The gentleman working was so kind. He really made the experience so great we had to stop back in before leaving town today! They were incredibly busy today compared to the other but he recognized us immediately and made us feel so welcomed. The coconut cold brew is the BEST cold brew I've EVER had. If im ever back in Miami I will be back! UPDATE: I couldnt stop thinking about the cold brew before leaving the city. We went back to Baker and Barista for a 3rd time and I asked if they had larger batches of cold brew available. This wasn't something they were prepared for but I was.. with my own gallon jug! They were so accommodating for my insane request and I am happily drinking my cold brew from 10hours away lol AMAZING STAFF!

Baker and Barista is a gem in every sense of the word!!!! Nestled towards the latter end of Design District- I recommend parking at paradise plaza and walking over because it's well worth it! The vanilla latte was excellent, as well as the smores drink! My highlight was the amazing olive oil cake- wooooooooooooooow. The team was so friendly and welcoming- this place is a staple and you can tell everything is made with love!!! We need more places like this in Miami. Baker and Barista, Godspeed ahead!!!! Thank you for the awesome experience.

Stopped by Casa Bake near the end of the day, so the selection was quite limited. I ended up trying the almond croissant. The flavor was pleasant, although the almond note was pretty subtle. This isn’t your typical fluffy, buttery croissant — it’s more on the crispy side, almost like a cookie in texture, as if it had been baked a little too long. That said, I still enjoyed it. It had a nice crunch and a toasty flavor that made it unique, even if it wasn’t the classic style I was expecting. Would I go again? Probably only if I’m already in the area. I drove from downtown Miami just for this, and while it was good, it’s not worth a special trip.

The pastries and sandwiches are genuinely UNBELIEVABLE. I am in awe of these croissants, how crispy, fresh, and delicious they are. Make sure to get here early, because they sell out fast!! 🩷

Amazing bakery! The first time, I got there around noon, and they were already sold out almost of everything. The second time, I got there around 10.30 am and had much better luck, all 4 things I tried were delicious! Obviously super fresh, very fluffy, and so much flavor. The Danish with truffle and quiche Lorraine were my absolute favorite.

AMAZING CROISSANTS! Hands down best croissant I’ve tasted in the states. Wonderful staff, but they sell out very fast. My colleague stopped by around noon and they were already sold out with croissants. This place does have coffee, but it is on a smaller side, so you may want to get caffeine elsewhere. I saw many reviews about their pistachio croissant. It had so much filling, feels like the owner won't compromise the quality of these quossants by being cheap with the ingredients. They're giving PARIS, they're giving definition of QUOSSANT! It was a tad bit sweet to my likings, but it was definitely flavorful! My top picks were kouign amann and almond croissant. I've seen reviews saying that the almond croissant smelled burnt and wasn't up to par, but I bought almond croissants on two separate occasions, and they were SO GOOD. I am not from Miami area, but I would love to visit the next time round when I am visiting.

Delicious croissants, Dulce de leche one is the best. Almond croissant has like a pastry cream inside, which made me not love it as much. Dark chocolate was very good also!! They were out of pistachio when we went around 9:30 am. Favorite thing we got was the baguette bread loaf, that was outstanding.

Casa Bake is a not so hidden-gem in Miami with the most delicious and fresh pastries. I had the pleasure of passing by today and grabbing a few things to try and every single one was absolutely amazing. The spot is small and cozy with tons of options to choose from. Sadly by the time we passed by it was already running a bit low and they were making new stuff. So needless to say, they are popular and inventory is not guaranteed. The coffee paired so well with the croissant (I just wished I could’ve grabbed a chocolate or pistachio one instead). It was super flaky, but buttery and soft inside, just perfect. I will definitely be returning another day at an earlier time to try more of their options. The service was also super efficient. We were in and out under 5 minutes. Major kudos for this!

This review is specifically for the cake design. Service and professionalism is set aside since I feel I would be biased because Ingrid and I did not see eye to eye. On cake design, this is a $150 cake and it looks like I could have purchased this at Publix. There are no other elements of the Bluey besides some fondant cutouts. A bit of background, I told Ingrid that she has complete creative freedom and this is the end result. You be the judge of whether you get your cake’s here.

I had scheduled a cake tasting (for a destination wedding, I’d bought plane tickets for it) and she started WhatsApp calling me two weeks before at 9pm demanding I Zelle her a non refundable $500 deposit before she could confirm my picking up a tasting box because they're 'a lot of work' (they’re all standardized, cost $45, and come wrapped in plastic for a pick-up; I asked if I could choose the flavors and she WhatsApp called me saying of course I could not choose them---even though every other bakery does allow you to—and that even though I was specifically interested in one of the other flavors on her menu I wouldn’t be able to taste it). I said I understood that she couldn't save the date of the wedding without a deposit, so I would pay the $45 the following day and book back-up tastings with others, but I wasn't going to make the $500 deposit by Zelle without tasting the cake. She bombarded me (again, after 9pm) with calls and messages about how I needed to Zelle her $500 deposit before even having the tasting, saying 'What are you going to do if you don't like the cakes' as if it were shocking for someone to wait until the tasting to book the entire wedding. To be clear, she canceled my tasting because the *$500* was not paid, not the tasting fee. And THEN, while we were still speaking, she posted to her Instagram story gleefully posting that the specific date of my tasting was now open, including the attached emojis which I guess mean “no cake”? She was incredibly unprofessional, rigid, and rude. *No* other bakery I've spoken to has acted this way. Within a day I had tastings with numerous other bakeries lined up, all of which understood that people need a tasting before booking.

First off Ingrid was completely amazing! she was helpful from the intial contact to the feasibility of delivering the ordered products! For my baby shower I ordered the BEST alfajores you will ever try! I also ordered a box of beautiful cupcakes for the sweet table! Everything taste so fresh and was made to my design! Thank you T’antay, simply the best!!!!

I love Misha’s cakes. However, when I picked up my child’s birthday cake this year, I was surprised that they didn’t open it to show me as they usually have done in the past. I opened it myself and didn’t see anything off from the top and side when I quickly inspected it. Unfortunately, it seems they have issues with the fondant staying intact as evidenced by other reviews. Once I completely took it out of the box, I noticed that the cake was damaged on one side. But, at that point it was too late and I had to use it as is. People purchase these pricey cakes for special events and expect an intact product and not the headache of dealing with this on the day of such events.

The quality of customer service and management has declined significantly. I ordered a cake this past Saturday to pick up today (Tuesday) and even received a confirmation call yesterday. However, when I arrived, I was told they thought the cake was for September 30. The manager only offered excuses instead of a solution. Very poor customer service and unacceptable mismanagement. I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality of service provided. Do yourself a favor, don’t order from Misha’s!

Got these for my family sporadically. They loved the taste and quality. Unfortunately no vegan options so I was unable to see for myself, but my family raved about how delicious they were. They smelled and looked good. Very fresh.

When you spend $80+ for a cake, you'd hope it would be as described. Although it tastes ok, it does not look like the photo or the picture. Don't order from Misha's if you're looking for a cool food or cake gift. You'll get a Pinterest fail vs. what they show in the product photos. The icing colors blended together, the ghosts faces are just black blobs, etc... I would not have ordered from them if I knew they would not decorate as described.

I live in Franklinton Louisiana and contrary to the other reviews I’m going to have to say that I love their cakes. It was shipped to me from Florida and it came on time and it came in tact. I will order again since my husband’s Birthday is coming up 1/20. This review is base on my on experience and it was a good one. 👍😃

I recently ordered a cake for my daughter's first birthday from Misha's Cupcakes, and was extremely disappointed with the outcome. The cake was supposed to be the centerpiece of the celebration, but when I went to pick it up, it was in poor condition. The cake was smashed on multiple areas of the cake which made it completely unpresentable. The staff working at the time apologized and assured me that the manager would call me and make it right. However, I never received a call and when I called to follow up, the manager on call refused to speak with me, as she was "off the clock". When I finally spoke to the manager, I was told that because I took the cake, I could only be offered a 20% discount as a solution. I was extremely disappointed with the poor service and lack of accountability from the management. This was a very special occasion for my family, and the cake was a crucial part of it. I had high expectations for the cake and was looking forward to serving it to my guests. I was extremely disappointed that the cake was ruined and that the management didn't take any real steps to make it right. I do not recommend Misha's Cupcakes for any special events as they clearly do not take responsibility for their product and service. It was a huge disappointment for my daughter's first birthday celebration.

Cute little shop with a great variety of cupcakes. Not a huge selection of mini cupcakes but they sell them in packs of 4 at a discounted price. The dulce de leche cupcake was pretty delicious, while the red velvet cupcake was just okay. Nothing really stood out from it. None of their cupcakes have any fillings. Also, no restrooms and I dont believe I noticed seating either- it's a small shop.

An excellent local gem! The service here is always some of the friendliest I’ve experienced. The cupcakes are delicious, with thick buttercream frosting and moist cake, not made with lots of artificial ingredients. They have a large variety of flavors - some local specialties, like dulce de leche and key lime pie. Many cupcakes are actually available every day and not once or twice a week as the menu shows. The coffee is delicious as well. You can find tres leches from Versailles in a small fridge by the counter some days. After reading about how Misha’s treats their employees, I encourage people to check out this spot since it’s just a couple blocks away. Here’s how you run a business!

This place has got to close. Can't resist a cupcake and since I was next door getting ice cream I went in to give it a try. Honestly the cupcake looked terrible, like even I can make a prettier cupcake. But hell I decided to give it a shot. It was so bad I had to spit it out. Dry, tasteless, just bad. I gave it to my two friends to try and they also said it was the worst cupcake they had ever had. One of my friends asked me, "is this old? It tastes like it's two days old." I'm all for supporting local businesses, but not if they want to charge high prices for terrible products. This place needs to close.
