I love this place, one of the last drive-ins around, complete with snack bar. I usually go when they are playing an old movie I love, but they play new ones, too. Recently I went to a huge horror market there with craft and VHS vendors, and then killed some time at the river, and came back for Dracula and Fright Night. Some tips: There are some thrift stores and such in Newberg if you want something to do before the movie starts. Just don’t buy a ticket (available at the entrance) until you’re ready to stay put at the drive-in, as there is no free readmission if you leave. Also, please don’t run your car continuously during the movie, block the view of others, or otherwise be inconsiderate. Please drive very carefully and slowly in there. It’s like a big parking lot with mounds to park on. You might want to bring a blanket, because even in summer, it can get chilly at night. The audio plays over the radio and also on speakers. It sounded really good. You can bring lawn chairs to sit behind your car if you want and whatever you like to be comfortable while you watch. If you have a very, very tall vehicle, you might not be able to get through the entrance (but you’d block people’s view anyway unless you park in the back row). This is a special, fun place for serious movie lovers and everyone there works so hard to make it a nice time and keep this historical time capsule going. It’s so important to support it. And FUN!

As a movie-lover, this was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. You can tell how much passion they have for film and they insist on offering a high quality, classically nostalgic movie-going experience. Sound was great, as was the projection and the bonus pre-show, intermission, and closing commentary from the announcer. The concession stand had all your favorite movie offerings like nachos, popcorn, sodas and hotdogs. Can't wait to go back to see new and classic offerings, and we'll definitely make another trip out to Willamette just to come back here!

Wow what a great trip down memory lane. This is a true gem that I hope will remain for many years to come. Dog friendly too for those of us who enjoy bringing our whole family with us.

Best place to take in a movie. I especially love when they double feature a new blockbuster with a complementary classic. It lets me feel like I'm both keeping up with the now and embracing the best of yesteryear.

Had a blast here watching the original Jaws and Jurassic Park. The staff are always friendly, the concessions reasonably priced and tge picture and sound quality are great for a drive-in. Its just a fun thing to do even if we have to drive an hour each way.

Have gone multiple times this year especially for horror thursdays and love it everytime. But for the love of god please know how to operate your car BEFORE you arrive, learn how to turn off your lights and if your radio doesn't stay on long bring a portable one with extra batteries, and jumper cables, you might have to jump the person next to you like i did. Only grievance was on 9/27 someone had their headlights on for 75% of the first movie (even after another patron told them how to turn them off 🙄).

Great experience! We were a group of 8 visiting from out of state and tried all thirteen beers they offered on tap (and a few they had only in cans). Found something that suited everyone’s taste. The team was super friendly and engaging. Love the homey entrepreneurial spirit exhibited by the owner. If you are in the Newberg area, it is well worth the visit!

Visiting from Michigan, I'd heard about Wolves & People from a friend who visits every time he's in Oregon, and I was excited to check them out... and it definitely didn't disappoint. I've been to many breweries, and Wolves & People is one of the best (and most interesting) I've been to—not just in Oregon, but anywhere! Everything on tap was unique and delicious, the setting is beautiful, and our bartender was incredibly fun to chat with. I love everything about this place. If I could give Wolves & People more than 5 stars, I would.

Great experience overall! Hard to find breweries with beers like this! My actual score would be somewhere around 4.6-4.7, but in general, this is a place I would highly recommend everyone checkout. Things I would love to see change to take this place up a notch? 1) Install a sound system for music instead of just a little Bluetooth speaker. It will distribute sound more evenly and add to the atmosphere you're creating. 2) Offer some sort of snack item with the beer. Meats and cheeses go perfectly with the beer and only add to the atmosphere being created here! Perhaps a charcuterie board? It doesn't have to be anything big. Keep it minimal and selective 👍👍

Came in for the first time to some soothing bluegrass by locals who loved what they were doing and really made for a great atmosphere. WC IPA was delish, and the Hazy IPA was also on point. Could use some wine, cider, or seltzers for gf who doesn't like beer. But otherwise, love this very cool, chill, relaxing spot.

Great dog friendly location with amazing views. The staff is knowledgeable and personable (I wish it hadn't been so busy because i would have loved chatting longer).The beer here is delicious and unique. A must stop for anyone passing through. I would come here again and again....if only I lived closer.

Unique beer in unique location. Located in an old farmhouse in Newberg, Wolves & People has perfected the enjoyment of physically distanced beer. The taplist always has plenty of interesting small batch creations made with ingredients sourced from the property. Kids and well behaved dogs are welcome. Bottles and cans are available to go as well as crowlers of their draft beers. Enjoy!

A perfect place to take your beer enthusiast and even the family. My husband is a brewer and enjoys this place so much. They are a farm style brewing company with an unusual flare for beer you can’t find elsewhere. There are games for kids to play and lot of land to wonder on while you sip your brew. It’s definitely one of our favorite spots to grab a cold one.

Serene setting and well kept. Unrelenting hills and lots of forced carries made it slightly hard to enjoy as a high handicap player while walking. Next time I come here will probably rent a cart instead

The intent of this review is to hopefully shed some needed light on course conditions. The positives - Great staff, mostly great layout, well kept grounds and mostly well run course. Watered, landscaped etc. The negatives that are keeping me from coming back: #1 - The greens have been consistently rolling slower than grandma's shag carpet. This is not an exaggeration. I play all over the valley and I cannot think of slower greens except maybe The Children's Course and honestly even that place might be faster. #2 - Holes look like they've not been newly cut in months and range mats are brutal and could use an upgrade. I get they might trying to penny pinch, but charge $3 more a round and topdress and roll your greens for crying out loud. It's not expensive.

I played 18 holes today and yesterday here at Chehalem Glenn! This course was awesome. It is really fun to play. While it is an easier course, it has many challenges too. I always get friendly service from the Marshalls and from the desk workers. I definitely recommend this golf course!!!

I've had my eye on this place for a year or two now, and finally got a round in here recently... Good layout, great value. Front 9 begins mostly back-to-back, then opened up a little out near some houses before you play the 9th back to the house. Back 9 starts over near the Putting Course and seemed a little more open than the front, although the entire course is plenty wide. Challenging, but not overly difficult. Between the driving range, putting & chipping areas and the Putting Course, there are plenty of fun, golf related activities here aside from playing a round. For a winter round it was a fairly dry track. Well maintained with fun greens; anything over 4' or so will have some slope in play on your read. Staff was helpful & friendly. I would definitely play here again.

Very nice staff. Reasonable price. As tough a course as you want it to be. A good walk as well. Greens are true, but slow. They keep them long probably because of all the play.

As always, golf here is full of trials and tribulations. Lots of forced carries with woods and creeks. Some of my friends refuse to play here but I rather like it. The course is in good shape. What's missing is a restaurant and bar. If you want more than a hot dog and a beer, find somewhere else for your 19th hole.

I live 50 minutes away. Since moving here in 2021, I have played here multiple times . The course is already in good shape. Excellent and challenging layout. To walk the course, you have to be a strong walker. I do wish the greens were faster. There is a huge difference between blue and white tees. Holes 10-12 especially.

The green areas are great, and it's great for taking a walk or going to the disc golf. The only place that was a bit unpleasant was the playground, it's sad how bad it smells. We weren't able to stay in the playground, you can't enjoy it.

I put up a really bad review at the beginning of the season because I was really tired of this place looking so horribly. If it hadn't been recently taken down I was coming back to update it. I went yesterday and it was cleaned up better than I've ever seen. I am so proud, everything is cleaned up and landscaped and awesome. Now if we all try just a little, we can keep it clean!! I am so happy it changed!

I'm getting married at the Chehalem Cultural Center in August. My fiancé and I were looking for a place to take pictures 📸 close by. I know that it's spring now, and everything won't be this lush, but I find this park a must-see for pictures if you like green hills and three quaint little bridges going over a little stream.

Beautiful and awesome park. It is a steep walk down into the central area, but worth it. The kids park area is great. The ground was hot when we were there but the slide and play structure was not, which was something we were worried about. 7yo rated it a 10 out of 3, whatever that means.

Love this little park. Clean, fun and a nice little hike/walk after the playground. Walk was a bit muddy, so prepare if it’s been overly rainy, but nothing some boots can’t handle next time There were a few teens taking over the playground around dusk which was a little uncomfortable with my 4yo, however, they’re kids too and it was nearly dark so we went ahead and finished our playing for the day. All around it’s a very nice park.

Really nice pool and facilities. The people here are very nice, friendly, and helpful. My family and I really enjoyed our time here during a swim meet.

My 9 year old daughter takes swim lessons here and we are loving it! Her swim instructor, Kaylee is patient and kind. She pushes my daughter to get better while giving her grace.

Swimming laps here is so great! The competition pool is the perfect temp for workouts and everything is so clean. The front desk staff and lifeguards are so kind. Bring a lock if you want to stash anything in a locker.

Beautifully maintained facility, great parking, gymnasium and walking track are excellent. Weight room has the necessary equipment. Front desk staff is friendly and very helpful. The Pool / Aquatic side is excellent with a very well maintained public and competitive pool facility. We are fortunate to have this in our community.

I really can tell this spot is one of my favorites!!!! The pool is great and clean! I love how they separate the Olympic pool from the jacuzzi! Is cool swimming in cold water and normal temperature. 10/10 😇

There’s a lady who works there, her name is Becky. I had a very bad experience with her. We called her asking if the sauna works, and she responds with “come to the sauna and check yourself”. What type of bullshit is that? We pay for a family membership and the lady Becky can’t even do her job, check the sauna. 0/10 customer service.

They're mainly a self service only now, which is kinda lame in my opinion. But the staff is very nice and helpful. The only other thing was the fries were half empty, I don't know why they're skimpy with them.

Assistant manager had very long fingernails touching and preparing and serving food through drive-thru.. I questioned this as it is a food safety hazard she became aggressive and told me that I was incorrect. This is in fact a safety hazard according to Oregon State Health Board as well as nationally.. avoid this place!

All the times I’ve been in this location, my food is cold, old and looks like toddler constructed to burgers. Minimum wages is too much is way too high for this kind of integrity!

I ordered 2 snack wraps with no lettuce, I got them with lettuce, I contacted support and nothing, so I PAID for 2 more with NO LETTUCE. I got LETTUCE. no help and no support. waste of so much money. they never get my orders right ethier way

Got home with my to go order. And these are the large fries that we pay almost $5 for. Very disgusting. Newark McDonald’s is one of the worst when it comes to their preparation of food. Quality control. This was not the first time this happened .

Honestly I work really close to here so I go to this location a lot. They never put more than one pickle on the sandwiches and when you ask for a side of sauce with your order, they give you 3 nickel sized dabs of sauce and get mad if you try to ask for more. They’ll argue with you that they did give the sauce and that you have enough. I’m tired of trying to ask them for anything. Even if I order the sauce with my meal at the speaker, they still give me grief when I get to the window. They get one star for my meal at least being right

I frequently stop at McDonald's every where I go...free WiFi and water...this morning I stop at the Newberg OR location...5:oo am only a quarter in my pocket,cold from the rain last night...i as for a water the ladies working ask if I'd like a coffee I said I only have a quarter no money...the employee said it's on the house & refills are free...the other morning around 11:00 same mcMcDonald's a ladie seen me there with a drink and my backpack and she came over and gave me 4$ to get a bite to eat...i was watching a movie and I was dressed nice didn't look like I was on hard times...Best McDonald's & cleanest I've had the pleasure of visiting not to mention friendly employees & town full of good people hands down...4~29~18 Richard Friend

Cute little area to stop with the food trucks. Great food, served very hot. The area wasn't very busy and it seemed that they still took a long time to serve. My partner had already received and finished his meal by the time I got mine, even though I ordered first. Loved the food though, flavours on point.

One of my favorite Thai foods. The price is so easy for you to turn around to grab on your way home. Great taste. The couple seem to work hard and care about the customers to make sure how I like my order.

Abby’s is one of our staples since moving to Newberg. It was one of the first places I’ve tried and was also recommended some items to try by some friends. The Hawaiian is great and so is the Mediterranean pizza. The Mediterranean was especially great during Lent when I could not eat meat on Fridays. A large pizza and some garlic knots are a perfect meal to have for two with some leftovers for the next day! Takeout and delivery have elicited the same quality pizza. Tasted great and I will def order more in the future.

This pizza was excellent! Abbey's Legendary Pizza is a chain but it has the feel of a local pizza joint. We tried them out because we don't have them in AZ and the pictures looked pretty wild. It definitely did not disappoint! We ordered our pizzas to go and it was going to be 30 minute wait so we decided to get a few beers and hang out. The beer selection is small but really good and we had a great time talking and waiting for the pizzas. We ordered the taco pizza and the Philly cheese steak pizza. They were both delicious but the Philly was definitely our favorite! As for the service, when we arrived no one working really seemed jazzed to be there. We were glared at by the girl at the cash register and no one was communicating with each other very well in the kitchen. It kind of felt like maybe there had just been a fight. That's 100% speculation but it was pretty tense. Even the manager seemed annoyed when he had to pour our beers. I am guessing that no one else there was over 21 which is why we had to wait for the manager to be available. The service definitely was not great but the food was fabulous. If you are going to pick up pizzas and leave you should not have any issues. I would absolutely recommend getting pizzas to go from here if you are in the area.

One of the best Abby's pizza locations around. Up to date with throwbacks to its history. The Pizza was Abby's quality and the atmosphere was what i remember from my childhood.

Abby’s Pizza in Newberg has been a family favorite of ours since the 80s! We love the cozy atmosphere, especially sitting around the warm fire. The kids always enjoy watching the pizzas being made fresh—it’s part of the fun and keeps them busy while we wait for the food to be done! The salad bar is great. Great food, great memories, convenient location, and a place we have enjoyed for decades.

We waited 90 minutes for one pizza and one sandwich and a salad. It was delivered and the bbq chicken pizza was soo salty I could not eat it. I sent a contact form on the Abby's website and got a voicemail that I can not hear other than they would email me and call me back which has not happened. I ended up throwing it away because I just could not get past the extreme salt. Would not recommend and will not try again

This was our first time having pizza at Abby’s, we tried Greek, the Garlic Chicken, and the Pepperoni in a large. Initially we were slightly taken back by the price of 3 pizzas. But once we received the final product, we understood why they have a higher price point, they are quite generous with their toppings in both quantity and quality. Overall, the flavors were on point, the dough was great, the service was fast, and their customer service was great.

Not friendly order taker.... Also, couldn't hear her.... And... The pizza was burned, it was hard, toppings were sparce on the hamburger and it was very spicy. We were told they don't serve the potato slices because they are too busy. 🧐 Thank s will be our last visit you this Legendary Abby's pizza.

We did the dinner tasting menu and had a great recommendation for a bottle of wine. Impressive wine selection, no doubt. The presentation of each dish was beautiful, though the flavors ranged from truly delicious to just okay. Service was friendly and attentive, with thoughtful touches like napkin refolding. That said, the pacing was quite slow, over three hours total, which made the overall experience feel longer than expected. A nearby large party added to the noise level, and while we understand that some evenings are more challenging than others, ours didn’t quite meet what we had anticipated from a restaurant of this caliber.

We did the seven course tasting menu which I recommend. Value was very good...$300 including great wine pairings. Service was excellent. From the Amuse to the finale dessert the courses were unique and each stood out. The wagyu was amazing but the sides served with it were exceptional in their own way. Very well thought out and paced. The wine paired with the Lettuce Wrap was PERFECT! None of the courses missed. Left just a bit stuffed but not ridiculous like some tastings...you can eat and drink it all and not leave uncomfortable or drunk. We do a lot of tastings including some of the big names in NYC and this one is near the top.

Wow, what an incredible experience! We had an anniversary celebration dinner and it was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed their four course tasting menu and there wasn’t a single dish that wasn’t incredible. There were so many thoughtful details and all of the service was top notch.

It was a beautiful setting from the moment you left the main road. Once you walk through the doors into the Jory you are greeted with kindness and thoughtfulness. Our meals were outstanding. Our service was perfect. The wait staff were right on time with everything. Not forgetting you are there but also, not coming to the table too often. We had a lovely walk afterwards around the beautiful property. The gardens were lovely and the sculptures were wonderful. I will definately be returning.

We enjoyed a delightful brunch on the restaurant’s sunny terrace. The cast iron pancake, topped with blueberries and goat cheese ricotta, was absolutely out of this world - fluffy, light, and bursting with flavor.

We had an amazing brunch at JORY restaurant and our server Kai was really great! The dishes were really good and the bacon was just superb! 10/10 would recommend. It's a pricey place but lives up to expectations.

The best part of this place was that it was run by all women and inexpensive! Suggest if you order grilled cheese to ask for more cheese. Burger was good. Suggest not ordering salad, pretty basic, but the ranch dressing was good. Small place with parking and ice cream.

This place is a hidden gem! Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere, amazing service, kind and respectful! This place feels like it is straight out of the 50's, so much so I wanted to immerse myself in the whole experience while I was there. This place reminds me of a burger place I grew up around. So thankful I found this place that reminds me of my childhood. Amazing amazing amazing! It's a must stop for anyone traveling, though! Yes, the food will take a little bit to get to you, that's because it's fresh meat, everything was fresh! Best burger place I have been at in a long time!

The prices are reasonable and the burger actually taste like meat. I will say the inside is a little dated The AC was a bit high and the bathroom needed to be tidied up. However, I will be back in the future and lool forward to trying different menu items.

Iconic Newberg dining experience. Don't come here with your pretension and big city values. This place is for families, friends and community. Be prepared to wait for you food without complaint, and be patient with the staff which is almost exclusively local youths. Food is affordable and delicious.

I go here often, one of the last places that carries impossible/beyond meat and can substitute for any burger. The milkshakes and ice cream is incredible, a very popular local spot indeed. Always a 5/5, however it is small (to be expected given how old it is) so a dinner rush can leave you waiting for a little bit for your food, but don't worry, it's worth it. If you're looking for an old fashioned diner with American eats, this is the spot.

A Newberg classic. Sure it's not super fancy, but it's full of history. Expect squeaky chairs, but you'll leave with great memories of those chairs. I try to take my kids whenever possible, and they absolutely love it. I just went to see the new Despicable Me 4 movie, and I could have driven further to Hillsboro or McMinnville, and end up paying more to see it on higher definition screen, maybe better sound, but the local charm and appeal of this little theater keeps us coming back. Friendly staff is nice too. Oh and upstairs you'll find an old projector on display, classic movie posters and some Newberg memorabilia. Fun!

Front desk yelled at my child and refused to get a mangager. Extremely rude and disrespectful. If a company has new rules that’s fine but you should post them and not yell at my child because you feel entitled. I’m extremely disappointed with Tracey’s behavior. She embarrassment to this company. Customer service should be polite. She also said she could act rude because this place is historic. I’m astounded by this behavior from and Tracey, who is an adult. Wow

The old woman who works here is needlessly rude and aggressive. Consider giving her a non-facing customer role. Her ill behavior does NOT make people want to return to this establishment.

Drove down to Newberg from Seattle just to eat at The Painted Lady—and the 4-hour trip was totally worth it. From the moment we walked in, our server made us feel super taken care of and explained each dish and wine pairing really well. We had about 9 or 10 courses, and everything tasted amazing. My favorite was the Ube Genoise—every bite was magical, and I honestly could’ve had three more. They were great about our dietary restrictions too—I had the vegetarian menu and loved how thoughtful and creative each dish was. The Miso custard and agnolotti with the sourdough bread were so good. They even brought out a chocolate cake for us to take home, to celebrate my spouse’s birthday, which was such a sweet touch. Definitely a great spot for a special occasion or just a really nice dinner.

My partner and I had dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary on July 12. There were 10 courses, not including the anniversary cake. Everything was delicious. I heard the miso custard has been a popular dish and yes, that WAS really good, but the canapes was just as good. I was amazed how crispy the mushroom was. I have a big appetite but by the time they brought the dessert, I was stuffed. I just took a bite and my partner finished the rest. It took us 2 hours to eat everything, but we probably should have slowed down. I didn't take a picture of it, but they had decaf. Towards the end, I saw a fly, which was the only negative feedback on the Painted Lady.

I was disappointed by this place as a whole. To be fair to them, their service was amazing- no complaints about their waitstaff. We did not do a wine pairing because we had been tasting all day and the pours were very generous at other tables- but it would’ve been a great option if we weren’t already a bit wined out. On the negative, the food. The portions were reasonable- we were full at the end- but the food itself was very, very underwhelming. In particular, the albacore loin was extremely fishy. We could smell it as it was coming to the table. You can’t serve something that is clearly that old/not fresh at this price tag. Was unable to eat it. Everything else was just ok. I feel like they tried to over complicate things to make them appear more high end rather than actually focusing on ingredients and flavors. Would unfortunately not recommend this place. Better food for 1/3 the price elsewhere.

My wife and I visited for our honeymoon and while the service was pleasant, the food was completely underwhelming in almost every way. It’s a tasting menu, so smaller, more curated dishes are to be expected–but every course was either very under seasoned, or just…boring. The salmon was not fresh at all and I could smell the fishy-ness as they brought it out from the kitchen. It was a blah course overall. The pasta and romesco sauce were devoid of any salt whatsoever, and the accompanying pork belly (2 bacon bits sized pieces mind you) were dry and hard. The steak course was fine, but that’s a low bar as it’s not hard to cook a good quality steak. The dessert course seemed like they didn’t know what exactly they wanted to do and threw a few things together which was a rubbery mess overall. The atmosphere was also…something. But I’ll leave that up to personal preference and ultimately isn’t why we chose this option for our honeymoon. The Painted Lady simply does not live up to the experience one would expect to have when spending $460 on dinner. This may seem as a harsh review, but we wish we would’ve known better before coming and made other plans. We’ve visiting numerous other fine dining establishments (including tasting menu dinners) while spending less $$ and having 10x the experience in every way possible.

We went to celebrate an anniversary and it was one of the best dining experiences I've had and the best in Portland by far. We had the full 8 course tasting menu. Service was very friendly and attentive and the food was incredible. Tons of really complex dishes both in flavor and texture. I felt like I was slipping closer and closer to unconscious bliss with every bite. Food coma! The dining area is cozy and candle lit. Will definitely be back the next time we're in Portland!

Hands down the most amazing food experience I have ever taken part in. Went there for our 24th anniversary and it was simply magical. There was not 1 thing I didn't just drool all over. Those tastes I tasted defy explanation. And with the wine pairing, it just made the evening perfect. This is a true hidden gem.

Hubby and I came for our anniversary lunch and it was absolutely delightful! The menu changes slightly by the day and almost entirely by the month. Service was excellent - we were never left waiting - our dishes were served with great timing. Today was gnocchi for the main course and, oh my, does that gnocchi melt in your mouth! The flavors are delicious. The focaccia with the house branded olive oil and balsamic vinegar from Italy are to die for. All their pastas and sauces are made in house. I also really loved how the menu clearly indicated ingredients for those with dietary restrictions. Even better, housemade gluten free gnocchi was also available! Highly highly recommend this restaurant for a nice meal out!

Just spent an amazing hour having the absolute best traditional Italian food I have eaten since leaving the East coast and having family meals...or those that I have cooked myself. Chef Dario has his restaurant Rosmarino Osteria Italiana firing on all cyclinders. The food, by far, exceeded expectations. In English, my wife had the mushroom rissotto while I ordered the special, short rib raviloi, AND the lasagna. The lasagna is made with chef Dario's nona's bolognese. I want to say more about the food quality and its traditional qualities but frankly, no words will suffice. If you think you enjoy Italian and want to try REAL traditional Italian, make a reservation for Monday or Thursday night. If, like me, you enjoy a top shelf Chianti, try their house private label. Grown, made and bottled in Italy for the chef, it is magnificificant. My wife also had the beet salad. This consisted of cubed beets on a bed of truffle cream and topped with crumbled pistacios and micro greens. I am not a beet guy but this was the best I have ever had. Take my word when I say...top shelf. Happy birthday sweetheart. I hope you enjoyed it.

Incredible dinner in Oregon wine country.... This is a must try if you're anywhere near here. Our server Brandon was great and the entire staff was friendly/welcoming. Our meal started out withe the prosciutto and burrata salad which was so fresh. The table bread was also fantastic. The main course was vecchia modena gnocchi which was smoked guanciale with butter and cream to go along the a diavola pizza which was exceptional as well. The pizza crust was so light and a little chewy in a good way. Perfectly spicy. Dessert was the raspberry sorbet and the blueberry cheesecake which were both great ways to end the meal

Well today it's lunch, last time was dinner two years ago with my Mom for our birthdays. Server Brandon was awesome! Made thie experience unique. Well, back today with my mom in spirit as she couldn't make the trip. But, I'm back today for lunch.

This was such a cool, unique experience. Dario was awesome and the food was amazing! We did their Friday night 5 course special and it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend for special occasions!!

Out of all of the restaurants I've tried in my decades of existence, it would be hard to single out any restaurant whose food was better than this. The pasta is truly handmade and fresh (not just claims made on a menu). Even the espresso martini was memorable. I had the Alla zozzona, and I wish I could describe how delicious it was. Our only complaint? Our party of two couples were traveling and celebrating anniversaries, and shared this when we made reservations, and when we arrived. But we were seated in the very back of a converted (think plywood hotbox) area behind the restaurant on a 95 degree day. If the food had even been a little bit more disappointing, we would have gotten up and walked out.

We stopped in for brunch and it was amazing! Better than I had expected and it will have us back. We had the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken, it’s mouthwatering. The gravy has wonderful flavor and the chicken was nice and crispy! We also enjoyed the croissant French toast with apple on top. Perfectly balanced and tasty. Enjoyed the Brunch punch and a Bloody Mary to top it off. Service was nice the friendly and the restaurant is very fun on the inside.

My wife and I came for brunch. She got the brioche french toast and I had the fried polenta with mushrooms and a fried egg on top. The food was absolutely outstanding. The coffee was also excellent. Our server was polite and very helpful with the menu. She was also very prompt with coffee refills! We will be back as often as our budget allows!

10/15/17: 4.0 out of 5 - The standard hasn't changed. The food is still good and the service is friendly and attentive. Brunch was good but great with friends. HOWEVER... In a bit concerned about the bill having 5% tacked on for Health and Wellness, which I believe, is for the employee's Health Insurance. 02/19/17: 4.5 out of 5 - Ruddick/Wood was a first stop for food before my friends and I headed out for wine tasting. Firstly, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Great with explaining what is what and making suggestions. Secondly, the food was amazing! Every dish had a uniqueness about it. Portion size can be shared unless you are a power eater. And, lastly, the restaurant itself had a rustic modern look. It's clean and spacious. To my surprise, there is a bar in the back side where you will come across going to the bathroom. Overall, it was a great eating experience with friends. Definitely suggest, when in the area, trying out Ruddick/Wood once and decide for yourself. Enjoy!

Worth the trip. Went for a brunch because the Chicken and Biscuit was recommended. Happy to say I wasn't disappointed. Service was super friendly. Very nice atmosphere. Clean. Welcoming. The Eggs Benedict was great, the greens on it really helped the flavor profile. The Chicken and Biscuit was great, if not a tad salty. Hazelnut Biscuit made it a great combo together. Looking at the menu, there were other items I really want to try. The Pastrami Hash and the Deviled Eggs to be sure. We will be back.

We tried this place. Servers were nice but inexperienced. Our food took a while, ot was presentable but had no taste. Well, the stuff that didn't have red pepper flakes on it had no taste. Almost everything had red pepper flakes on it and was spicy. Even the fries and my kids couldn't eat them

(A pleasant change of Outdoor dining with no masks - although today was the first day the Communist Governor’s ridiculous “mandates” expired so that might have contributed) Delightful outdoor dining experience and wonderful menu selection. All of the foods had a refreshing complexity of flavor combinations due, in part, to the open flame grill and infused with wood smoke notes. Definitely try the fries and don’t overlook dessert. The apple bread pudding with caramel was stunning! Complaints: While their drink selection seemed well though, it was a disappointment they used table salt on our margarita. A “23% service & wellness fee” is added to every check. Sorry, if you can’t afford to pay your staff or your food isn’t good enough to draw a crowd, rethink your business plan. Disguising this as a “service and wellness” fee is a recipe for losing a repeat customer.

Great menu featuring locally sourced items. Staff was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. I had the pork chop. It was perfectly prepared. We will definitely be back here. They had a nice selection of local Pinot's.

The coffee cottage is a very nice local coffee shop that everyone in the area should go and check out! Very good customer service and good coffee. People typically see a line when entering and get fairly discouraged thinking it's busy, but I can assure you the line moves fast and the employees work hard! I had the "ol st. Nick" peppermint white chocolate mocha, it was delicious! I also had the French turkey sandwich which was very good and came with complimentary chips and side of a pickle! Highly recommend for anyone in the area, it has a very home like feel to it!

The Coffee Cottage is your typical coffee shop in a college town. Very relaxed vibe inside with loads of caffeinated options to choose from. They also have a nice menu for breakfast and lunch options as well. The cottage is located in a former house on the corner. The employees are friendly and quick to take your order. This was my first visit and the food came out in a timely manner however I was told sometimes they can be slow. I ordered the grilled cottage roaster and it was delicious. I enjoyed the roast beef, spinach, and garlic aioli combo. The flavors really complimented one another nicely. The bread was also very tasty. Pricing seems average for the area and I would return.

What a lovely place for coffee! It’s spacious with lots of nooks, kind of like a community living room. Wonderful outdoor garden seating. Highly recommended

Great in house roasted coffee, teas and smoothies to go along with some yummy pastries and gluten free treats. If you want something more substantial they have a nice sandwich/wrap selection. Several vegetarian selections as well. Freshly roasted bulk coffee beans are available as well.

A great little cafe right off of the highway. I only stopped here to kill time, but I would love to come back here. They have a decent selection of books to choose from, just to complete the cozy cafe vibe. Entering the cafe I expected to get a simple cappuccino, but looking at the large selection of flavored mochaccinos I ordered the "Grasshopper Mochaccino" and the "Viva a la Veggie" in a wrap. The food was excellent and served promptly on a. Little plate with chips and a pickle. During this time I admired the architecture and enjoyed a podcast next to a window which displayed the highway. My drink was placed on the counter up front and my name was called. The waiting time was so low I hadn't anticipated the drink, I was still left to my thoughts. This has to be one of the best mochaccinos I've ever had. Not too hot, great amount of foam, not far from what I expected but just the right amount of surprise. If you ever find yourself looking for coffee in Newberg, check out this little place. They have a drive thru and they're privately owned, so support a local business.

I love the pork ribs, lean and so tender, tasty as well. The chicken wings were good but served kind of cold, instead of hot. My husband liked his chicken. The Mac and cheese was very tasty. So new ownership, we met him. More power to him. I always like to support locally-owned businesses. That's where we'll go! We'll come back for sure even though it's quite a drive from Portland.

We happened into this little restaurant while we were in Newberg Oregon. I had the brisket sandwich and my boyfriend had the grilled cheese brisket sandwich. And then we shared some burnt ends. the entire meal was DELISH and the staff was super friendly. Next time we are in Newberg we are for sure stopping in again.

It’s a hole in the wall restaurant. Very informal generally for to-go orders. You would not know unless you search for specific or places to eat in this small town. The new bypass highway also does not help as it would skip people from going thru the main drag. So much of that this is THE place for brisket. I could not find anywhere in Portland area that can match this quality. Oh boy! Chicken is okay. Pork end is salty. Brisket is to die for. They no longer carry sweet and sour sauce which I think better than the spicy one (which is not very spicy hot)

Storrs Smokehouse is my go to BBQ spot! I’m hooked on the chicken wings smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor every single time. My husband and I always share the Grand Daddy, and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, and cooked to perfection. We often getting 2 meals out of it. The quality keep us coming back. Highly recommended if you're craving authentic, delicious barbecue!

Their BBQ is some of the best I have had up North. High praise coming from a Southern gal. Service is amazing and quick. Biscuits and gravy served fresh! The brisket...my gosh! They also have the best pickles 😋 (I am super picky with brisket and pickles and they blew my mind) Their pricing is so affordable for the amount you get! All around great food, great staff, cute location!

Absolutely the best brisket ever. You can cut it with a fork. No frills, but great food, service and prices. Try the pork belly on the weekend if you want a new addiction. You can also take home some meat for later, but from my experience it will not be in your fridge for long. The crew is friendly and welcoming. The relaxed environment is perfect to unwind and the taste will make you forget about whatever concerns you walked in with. Suggestion - don't wait until close to closing to go as when the particular meat is gone, it is done for the day. Cheers

Absolutely the best brisket I've ever had! Every time I'm in town this is a place I have to stop by.

First time here- not the last. So good! It's an outside place with limited seating- today was a perfect day for this. I didn't check it out, but there is also a patio with limited covered seating I was told. We ordered the cheese bread, a Ceasar, the pork shoulder and pineapple, and the pizza of the month. The app was fantastic. Basically a smaller pizza crust, cheesy, with a hint of sweet and truffle oil. So good. The Ceasar was large- 12.00 too- and packed some heat. Almost to spicy for my wife. I loved it. If you have an aversion to spice, you might want to ask if they can reduce it. The pork shoulder & pineapple pizza was in my top pizzas in this area. Really just a great pizza and balance of flavors. Not to sweet or savory- just good. The pizza of the month was also really good- but here is my minor critique. It came with pears, cheese, herbs, Evo, honey, and njuda. The bites without njuda were a little to sweet- but when I got a bite with everything- omg! My point is it needed a little more sausage so you get more bites with it. Great first impression- forgot to say their crust is in my top 5 in the area. I might rank higher upon my next visit. Light and crispy, not overly charred with a great wood fire flavor. So good! Staff was also very friendly! Great place!

Straight up this pizza is awesome. As a former New Yorker I have craved pizza just like this. The crust is perfect, crunchy yet light and passes the fold test. The staff here is friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. Cool for a date or for dinner with the family. We love sitting outside and having a slice and a cocktail. This spot is under new ownership and the quality of the food has gotten even better. I love this pizza and I dining here. Hands down some of the best pizza I’ve had on the west coast.

Awesome place for pizza, craft brew, cocktails, and patio dining. We had the Bianca and Fungus Pizza and they were delish. The honey truffle bread was a delectable starter. Also had a fresh cookie straight out of the oven. Chef and staff are great and general vibe was so upbeat.

Great atmosphere. Pizza is delicious, but maybe a bit more ingredients would enhance the flavor to not have the bread flavor overpower the ingredient flavor. (It would just be my preference, so my solution may be to request add ons.) Loved the texture of the bread. The combinations work very well. The Truffle Cheese Bread was my favorite! Had a "Gin and Juice" cocktail, and moms margarita was strong! Good place.

This is such a legit great pizza spot - dare I say “Pizza Speakeasy”?! Don’t worry if you don’t walk directly here on your first attempt, it’s a little off the street inside the block. Great pizza and great energy from the crew that works here. More of a speciality pizza shop; don’t expect to your kids to know what Evoo, mozz, or pecorno are, but the ingredients are fantastic quality, so they’ll love the flavors. Crust It’s a hand tossed thin crust pizza, with some thick spots for the thick crust lovers. Sauce Quality tomato base that isn’t overpowering. Lots to like here. Cheese Cheeses are also high quality and really add to the experience. Toppings You can tell they spend their money on toppings. Such great tastes!

Delicious! Laid back, very friendly staff and tasty pizza. This was my second time here. Outside area is cool, a great summer hangout. -- Update, staff is pretentious and short. I like a unique pizza and local ingredients. But the last 2x I grabbed a pizza, the employees acted like I was at Departure downtown. Don't act like you're the hot new 5 star restaurant in town. You're serving pizza, you can treat your customers like people.

Great place for some yummy pizza! We got the pie of the week and the truffle cheesy bread and they were both amazing. They have some unique options like this one with pork belly, pineapple, avocado and radish as well as more standard options. They have a nice craft beer selection as well as cider and wine options. The entrance is down the alley but it's a really nice space with indoor and covered and heated outdoor seating.

Great, fresh produce store. They feature local fruit and veggies, going beyond to also offer limited staples (e.g. eggs, milk, tortillas). Any time I’m passing Rays, I always stop to pick up produce for the week. The selection is fresh and the prices are better than the grocery stores. Rays does not disappoint!

They always have fresh produce included from local farmers & low prices. The staff is very friendly & ready to help. Ray himself is so sweet & has excellent customer service, everyone loves him. I love coming into this store & his other one in Salem off of Silverton Rd & 30th Ave. I just wish this store wad open year round like the one in Salem is open year round.

We had high hopes for this place as it's been here a while. We bought cantaloupe that was like baby food inside, a watermelon that said it was seedless but was not and peaches that were hard and rotten on the inside. Everything seems like seconds and not quality . Won't be going back. Don't really know where these great reviews are coming from.

Place was dirty and unpleasant. Quality of the fruit was poor. Had to hunt for watermelon that was not in sun all day. Corn on cob was good however. Have always loved this stand in the past...sorry to see it going down hill.

Love this place, the produce is always excellent quality and really inexpensive. We've bought loads of stuff here over the years and the prices really can't be beat by any local store. Plus they have plant starts in the spring and a cool selection of Hispanic products

This is the best ice cream I’ve ever had. You MUST get a waffle cone. They are made to order, delicate, crunchy and spectacular, you won’t regret it. I’ve had the trick or treat ice cream twice and am so impressed by this hand made ice cream. We absolutely love this place.

This place is awesome! I took my son here to get an ice cream - all handmade and handmade waffle cones. The have a great selection of books in the store and also have amazing coffee! I would definitely recommend a visit.

A favorite spot for unique flavors and fresh ice cream in Newberg -- located in a great coffee shop (Chapters). You can shop for books, puzzles, games and cards while you're there too! Make sure to get your ice cream in a waffle cone. Very important. They're made fresh to order.

They made the waffle cones FRESH!! Right in front of us. Seriously great ice cream also. No idea if it was organic or fresh or from Wagyu cows or from cows milked by virgins. Do.Not.Care. The ice cream was so good and flavorful and the kid helping us was really great. The cold brew coffee caramel flavor was like a slap in the face - thats how great it was. If you have the time, def stop here. If you don’t have the time, change your schedule. Newberg seriously rocks lately.

I love love love ice cream. Anytime, anywhere, no matter the weather I will eat ice cream but some places don’t have what it takes to sell the best. cream northwest is the place to go for the best ice cream for miles! It could easily compete and surpass the big ice cream shops in portland. Their seasonal flavors are so unique and the regular flavors are great. We come here anytime we are in newberg which is often and we buy the pints. There’s consistency in the creamy flavors, no samples due to covid and the bookstore area and coffee shop next to them are peaceful and together they compliment a great atmosphere where you feel comfortable. My kids like the root beer and honey vanilla flavors, I love their coconut based dairy free flavors. It’s great that they have flavors that the entire family can enjoy.

The waffle cones are fresh, usually still warm, and there’s always great flavors of delicious ice cream.
