Jerome in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Jerome, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Jerome is a former copper-mining boomtown turned atmospheric hillside arts community, perched high on Cleopatra Hill with sweeping views of the Verde Valley. Its steep, winding streets are lined with historic brick buildings, galleries, studios, and small museums that explore the town’s mining and Wild West past. Visitors come for ghost tours, nearby wineries, and easy access to outdoor activities in the surrounding high desert. Its location between Sedona and Prescott makes Jerome a popular day trip on a wider Northern Arizona itinerary.
With favorites like The Miner’s Café, Paul & Jerrys Saloon, and Hilltop Deli, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Mile High Grill and Inn and Haunted Pizano so you can get the best taste of Jerome while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Restaurant
The Haunted Hamburger is a popular dining spot known for its delicious burgers and intriguing history. Originally built as a boarding house for copper miners in 1910, the building has since transformed into a restaurant that attracts attention from magazines, cooking shows, and travel guides. The location offers stunning views of the Verde Valley, making it a sought-after destination in Jerome.
Omg. So good. I wish I took more pictures of how the inside looked bc it was very unique in terms of the decor. There was a bookshelf on the ceiling! I loved it. The food was soo good. I gor the ultimate chesesteak and artichoke hearts. My boyfriend got a burger and a soft pretzel. Everything was delicious. I wish I could tell you a haunted ghost story about the place but I cant.

Great place to visit, the town is full of local artists and so much more. Atmosphere at the Haunted Hamburger is so much fun. Staff is super friendly. We ate upstairs and had the absolute best seat in the house. Little table for 2 at a large window with an amazing view. Food was very tasty!
Nadean B — Google review
Tucked into the charming hillside town of Jerome, AZ, the Haunted Hamburger delivers more than just a clever name. We ordered the Double Haunted Burger and the Ghostly Burger. The patties were cooked to a perfect medium, just as we requested—juicy, flavorful, and stacked high with fresh toppings. The portions? Massive. These aren’t your average burgers; they’re full-on events. You can swap out the fries for a twice-baked potato (which I had) but the fries were the best I have ever tasted - crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. Tammy, our server, was incredible. Despite the bustling crowd, she was attentive without hovering, professional yet warm, and had us laughing throughout the meal. She juggled a packed section with grace and never missed a beat—her energy and charm were infectious. We couldn’t resist ending the meal with their carrot cake, and wow—It was humongous, moist, and perfectly spiced, with a generous layer of cream cheese frosting that dreams are made of. It even had candied walnuts! Between the hearty food, the ghostly charm, and the top-tier service, Haunted Hamburger is a must-visit if you’re anywhere near Jerome. Come hungry—and maybe bring a friend to share dessert!
Janine D — Google review
Got seated at the outside "bar" overlooking the valley...NICE! Tammy was our server, fun, polite and professional. I had the cheese steak and slaw; it was excellent. Wife had the chili burger & fries. Very good. Pics don't do it justice, as I forgot to take pics when served. But after digging in, I had to get pics of our very delicious lunch. Thanks Tammy!

Haunted Hamburger was a nice culmination of the day spent in Jerome. The wait was long since it is a top tourist destination, but exploring the town filled the time. We were seated outside on the covered patio and had a lovely view of the town. The hamburgers were okay. The onion rings were great!
Lindsay C — Google review
The food and drinks here were fantastic! I ordered the Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita, and it was absolutely delicious. The fried pickles were yummy and my burger was flavorful! The views of the valley were stunning, and our server was both friendly and attentive. Even though we waited a little over an hour, it ended up being well worth it. The staff handled the waitlist and the crowd smoothly and professionally. I’d highly recommend making a stop here when you visit Jerome!
Amanda E — Google review
Finding parking is difficult and the wait wasn’t too bad. The food came out pretty quick which made up for it. Great food options for kids like corn dogs and the burgers were juicy and flavorful!

This is a MUST see and eat location. If you are anywhere near Jerome and even if you're not you've got to make your way here. The food is just D-licious. The atmosphere is so relaxing and it's a great place.

Restaurant
The Clinkscale is a trendy restaurant, bar, and grill located in the historic Clinkscale Hotel. This modern American cuisine hotspot offers delicious food and cocktails in a vintage-chic setting. The hotel itself was originally built in 1899 as a mercantile and has been beautifully restored, offering six individually decorated rooms with hardwood floors and luxurious amenities. The restaurant exudes 1920s charm and provides an adorable atmosphere for diners to enjoy their meals.
We had a wonderful experience at Clinkscale. As Verde Valley locals, we have visited a few times, and each visit has been exceptional. The atmosphere and staff are consistently warm and inviting. We are always greeted with a smile and treated in an outstanding manner throughout our entire visit. The food selections are endlessly tempting, making us want to order one of everything on the menu. Our party has enjoyed an array of entrees, including salads, burgers, chicken sandwiches, soup, guacamole, and chips, among others. Everything we've tried has been absolutely delicious! We can't wait to come back for another meal. I highly recommend Clinkscale to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
Stephanie B — Google review
I attended dinner here on a Friday evening with a reservation. I was last here when it was the Mile High Inn and Grill. The restaurant has maintained the charm of Jerome with some good upgrades. Dinner service required a reservation when we went due to popularity, so I’m glad I had one. Service was top notch! The menu is varied, and everything we ate was delightful! My cocktail wasn’t the best, but my mom’s cocktail choice was really good and the wine menu is serviceable. Skip The Asylum and come here instead.
Kimberly S — Google review
This restaurant was clean, upbeat, staff was attentive. We had the burger & fish tacos, BOTH were so tasty! The fries were delicious too! We tried to save room for dessert but couldn’t finish the beignets. They were tasty but oh my, enough for 4 people! Very generous portions on everything. You’ll definitely want to eat here!
Deanna V — Google review
We had a really great lunch here! Everything was delicious. Our server, Savannah was wonderful - knowledgeable, perfect timing, sincere. She made our lunching a perfect experience. Will definitely go back…especially for the peach cobbler bread pudding, which was one of the best desserts I have ever had.

We were a party of three with a dinner reservation. We arrived early and our table was set and ready for us. Antoine was our sever. He was, in short, outstanding! Perfect service from him. He made sure everything was too our liking and checked on us several times. We ordered cocktails with our appetizer. The drinks were spectacular. I tried the Black Walnut Manhattan. It was love at first sip! For dinner....everything we had was incredibly delicious! The plating was beautiful. They have a very good wine list. So it was easy to have a good wine with dinner. In many years of dining in the Sedona-Prescott area, Clinkscale is the best restaurant we've experienced!

We didn't stay at the hotel, but the restaurant is 5 star. Food, drinks and service are top notch. We had breakfast. Lemon pancakes were out of this world. The eggs Benedict was perfection. Went back for dinner. Best meal and value we've had in many years. My husband is in the wine business, so we've been exposed to exceptional food.
Eleanor Y — Google review
We went to celebrate a few family birthdays as we are all pretty close on the calendar. We were well taken care of by our server Savannah (I think I got that right) she was absolutely a gem. We wanted for nothing, she was all over our drinks and noticed our youngest diner didn't seem to love his meal and quickly produced a replacement for him. For my first time, I was wonderfully impressed and I look forward to returning. Thank you for a special and memorable birthday!
Talia M — Google review
Overall, the food and drink were very good. The drinks were very well balanced and tasty. The food had great flavor. The turkey French Dip was unnecessarily creative: the turkey doesn’t really hold up to the dip. Otherwise the experience was excellent.

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
Vaqueros Grill & Cantina is a Mexican restaurant located in Jerome, offering traditional dishes like tamales, enchiladas, and tacos. Established in 2014, it has become one of the top restaurants in Jerome known for its authentic Mexican food and handcrafted cocktails. The festive decor adds to the overall experience. Visitors have praised the great service and fantastic food, with some describing it as the best Mexican cuisine they've ever had.
Truly a gem! I have a super restricted diet due to allergies (MCAS sufferers, you'll get what I mean) - Normally I have to get a salad when I try anywhere new and even then it's a risk. What I want to highlight here, is the consideration and thoughtfulness of our server. At other places, when I've had to remove ingredients, I'm usually brought the most uninspired, tasteless salads one could imagine. Not here! After having to remove my allergies, the server offered to add veggies to it. It wasn't an option on the menu. She then brought out one of the best salads I've ever had. It was filling, it was delicious and it didn't set off an allergic reaction. I've been to a lot of places, but never before has one of the staff offered to supplement my food with something that made it just as good as it would have been if ordered without modifications. To top it all off, the atmosphere was warm and lovely, it was clean AND it was well priced. Their house salsa and chips were loved by my fiance too!
AJ — Google review
The atmosphere was uplifting, and the restaurant was full of color. We ordered the steak fajita, and it was not exactly what we expected. We did get refried beans, rice, a small amount of lettuce, some sour cream, and 3 tortillas. The one thing we did not like was that the meat dish was mostly onions. So, little meat. I also ordered a Margarita. When I was given the drink, it had some red stuff around the rim. It made the drink a little spicy. I was never asked if I wanted sugar or salt. The waiter was very nice.

We drove up the mountain to Jerome and ate an early dinner on a weekday. After walking the main street in town we were pretty hungry and the kids chose Mexican food. The restaurant is nicely decorated with Day of the Dead themed paintings and paraphernalia and has some crazy chandeliers. They had skateboard videos going on both TVs. There is a full bar with a limited selection of draft beers (macro brews only) and bottled/canned beer, as well as wine and liquor. The people at the table next to us were very positive about the house margheritas. The food is pretty standard Mexican fare and was delicious, well-presented and fairly priced. I had Arroz Con Pollo which was excellent, the kids had burritos which they liked, and my wife had some chicken enchiladas. Everyone was happy with the food. My kids were very excited about the Mexican Coke that was served in the big (500ml) bottles. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly, accompanied by free chips/salsa. I'd go back if I was visiting Jerome again.

Food was fresh & delicious. Salsa is fresh made, corn tortilla seem to be fresh made. Had the Huevos Ranchero, was superb. Asked for eggs over easy & they were perfection. Nice runny yokes with fully cooked whites. Beans & rice was flavorful, fresh & delicious. Service was fantastic, fast & our waitress always had a smile on her face. If we're in Jerome will visit here again. View outside building is spectacular & amazing. Posted a few of outside & surrounding area. Great food and great service! We went in a Sunday and had a party of 17, they made room for us!!! So greatful! All the favorites, delicious refried beans, salsa, guac, margaritas etc. great decor and super tasty margaritas. The mocajete was incredible!!

Excellent food and service. We tried the molacajete, which was more than enough for 2 people. Served sizzling hot with warm tortillas, rice and beans it was just perfect. Quaint little Mexican place with interesting decor.

Wow wow wow!!! So good the salsa was AMAZING! In the photo was my Navajo taco. It was soooo good! could hardly stop to breath while eating it! This is on my list to come again the next time I’m near. The drive to the place was great but the food was better if you can believe that!
Scott J — Google review
Great little hole in the wall. You can tell it’s family owned and operated. The staff are attentive and polite. The food was amazing and I would make the drive just for that. Windows give you a view of the valley. It is small, so it can get busy fast, but the wait is worth it.

Nellie Bly Kaleidoscopes is a unique art gallery located in Jerome, Arizona, showcasing an extensive collection of handcrafted kaleidoscopes from over 90 artists. Established in 1988, it is recognized as the world's largest kaleidoscope dealer. Visitors can explore a diverse range of kaleidoscope designs, from simple to elaborate, and are encouraged to interact with the pieces.
My favorite store in Jerome!! Such beautiful art!! The kaleidoscopes are beautiful! So many different varieties and styles! The store also has a sizable collection of repurposed art! There is something for everyone! It’s the perfect shop if you are looking for a unique gift!
Michelle B — Google review
Wow! This place is so much fun. The staff is so kind and the whole shop is an experience! We felt like we were at a museum of color as we learned about different types of kaleidoscopes. This shop ended up being our favorite part of the day. 10/10, would recommend.

Everyone here was SO friendly and helpful! Junie was the sweetest person ever and so knowledgeable and showed me some beautiful Pieces! I got to come home with this beauty and can’t wait to add more to my collection, this is such a great store for all ages and my favorite place in Jerome!
Megan E — Google review
Besides our brunch at the Clinkscale, this Kaleidoscope Shop was the true highlight of our visit to Jerome. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, and the vast collection of original, handcrafted kaleidoscopes was breathtaking. They actually encourage you to pick up and look through their many unique pieces. Be sure to step out onto the back porch, too—it features interesting metal artwork and offers a gorgeous view of the valley. Let’s face it, what kid or young at heart old folk can resist from picking up a kaleidoscope and giggle. If you sensed that I was not impressed with Jerome, then you were right. It’s worth a short stop if Jerome was on your way to some place else.
Big C — Google review
There’s something truly magical about this little gem tucked into the hills of Jerome. Nellie Bly Kaleidoscopes isn’t just a store—it’s an experience. Every piece in there feels like a window into another world, each turn of the scope revealing a fresh perspective and a reminder of life’s beauty in motion. As someone who believes in seeing life through a lens of creativity, color, and love, I felt right at home here. Whether you're a collector, a seeker, or just someone who needs to be reminded that there’s still magic in the world—this place is worth the stop. Much love, Keith W. – Google Local Guide + Founder of ioWEAR

What a fun unique store of Kaleidoscopes! Before even going to this store I had heard stories from friends and Kaleidoscope enthusiasts who had made their way across the US to visit this place! When you first walk in the staff is friendly and seemed genuinely happy and ready to help you with any questions you had! There is tons of optional interaction with the Kaleidoscopes they offer and lots to learn! I highly recommend checking this place out while you are in Jerome!
Tali G — Google review
Beautiful concept for a store. There were many kaleidoscopes of various shapes and sizes. They even had kaleidoscopes attached to gemstones, and they also had ones where you could see gemstones through the scope. Very pretty and artistic. Accessible parking nearby and accessible sidewalk leading up.

Such a beautiful shop... They sell things you wouldn't even think of, from glass trinkets to calligraphy pens and banned books. The assortment of items is so tasteful, a bit pricy, but very unique. Be sure to visit the balcony, they have interesting metalwork items there and an incredible view of the landscape below. I am always sure to pay them a visit when I am stopping through Jerome.

Great place to have breakfast. Friendly atmosphere and great customer service. Also offer cocktails for breakfast. I heard that the bloody Mary’s were the best in town. Not to mention they have live music after 5:00pm on Saturday. We did stop by for the live music for a bit. Enjoy it!

Staying not too far away for the week we decided to stop & grab breakfast at the Mile High Grill & Spirits. The breakfast choices are numerous and the presentation wonderful. The food for the most part was great, my only gripe was a burger bun used under my benedict, it was an awful addition to an otherwise good meal. Everyone else loved enjoyed their breakfast.

Such an amazing experience! We stayed in the Inn and ate breakfast the next day! The eggs were so fresh I swear they kept a hidden chicken under the bar! We will definitely be back again!
Darth S — Google review
Wife and I just happened to find this place on a self-guided tour through Jerome. It was excellent. She ate the corned beef hash. It was presented well in a little skillet but more importantly, it was savory and delicious. Sorry...I forgot to take a picture. I had French toast, but it isn’t a traditional preparation. They home-make bread pudding and that is the “bread” for the base of the French toast. It is custardy, fried, sweet, rich, and fantastic. Definitely worth a stop if you come this way.

My Bloody Mary was spot on. We both had the soup of the day which was excellent. Nice twist on the Southwest Cesaer Salad with corn, black beans and diced tomato. Fish and Chips had a nice crunchy batter on it and fresh cut potatoes for fries. Our waitress was very personable.

Mac n cheese, fried pickles n Bloody Mary were all absolutely amazing!!!! Our waiter was super nice n the 1 man band playing acoustics n singing some of my favorite songs was a nice touch for our afternoon lunch. Highly recommended

Honestly the best breakfast I've ever had. Really nice atmosphere. Staff is really friendly and make you feel welcomed. We spent the night at the inn and I was definitely awoken by a creepy women's voice so it lived up to being haunted. Loved this place and can't wait to go back.

We stopped in after looking at their menu and specials outside. My bf had planned on having their special, but they were out. He had their club sandwich with a black bean and corn side. This side was amazing and I'd wished I had gotten it. I tasted the club. The bread was a bit dry and tasted old. I would not order it again. I had the Cuban sandwich, which was delicious. I was a bit disappointed in the coleslaw side. It lacked flavor and when I asked before ordering what kind of mayonnaise it was made with, the server didn't know and didn't offer to find out.

Bar
Nestled in a historic building, Grapes Restaurant & Bar is a beloved Italian eatery offering a diverse menu and an extensive wine list. This charming spot is known for its delectable American and Mediterranean fusion cuisine, featuring everything from fresh salads to flavorful pasta dishes and succulent lamb shanks. The restaurant's heated valley-view patio provides a picturesque setting to savor your meal while enjoying the impressive selection of wines.
Unexpectedly Amazing Cheese at Haunted! I’m not usually a cheese lover, but the cheese dices here blew me away—I devoured them as a starter (alongside the bushito) and even asked for an extra small bowl as a snack! And the cheese on their pizza? Gorgeous. Honestly, any pizza here would be fantastic. For pizza We ordered the white sausage, which was perfect—I love the hearty texture of thick Italian sausage lumps. For dessert, we tried a lemon cake (I forgot the name, but it was unforgettable!). Layers of moist cake, creamy filling, and a delicate lemon-chocolate coating made it a standout—and this is coming from someone who usually avoids lemon in desserts (I’m a hardcore chocolate person!). The waiter is very effective and nice! I regretted that I did not ask his name! Prices are reasonable, and the food is worth every penny. Just one tip: Call ahead to reserve an outdoor seat—it’s in high demand!

My service was impeccable from Gianna. Actually everyone was great. The place is really cute, clean and has a great vibe. It also has a dog friendly patio. It’s small and cute. I thought the food was just OK. Nothing to ride home to mom about the pizza was very dry and the crust was very thick. I had to ask for sauce because I didn’t seem to taste any on the pizza. I would go back to try something besides the pizza and the Caesar salad. I WOULD RECOMMEND

This place is one of the best places to eat in town. The atmosphere is phenomenal. The theme was perfect for spooky season and the view was spectacular with outdoor seating. The food and service are top notch. We had the spinach and artichoke bruschetta and it had me dreaming about it that night it was so good. Would definitely go again when we are in town.

Words can't describe our experience. The food is likely some of the most authentic and delicious on the Italian scene. The story was awesome and the vibe was fantastic. 10/10 must try if visiting Jerome or the Sedona areas.

Amazing lunch combo deal half salad and half a pizza for $15 thats a steal if ive seen one. Delicious hot honey pizza and generous amout of salad. Verde pizza was slightly unseasoned but overall a good choice. The atmosphere was rather dark but still cozy and intimate enough for date night. Service was fast and attentive so no worries there. They do get busy later afternoon so there might be a wait.

Kaylee was wonderful. Offered suggestions on what to choose, friendly and attentive to her customers needs. We chose the Cire pizza. Perfect choice. Perfect for 3 people. Friend of mine had a Sfogliatelle. The delicious dessert in the photos. Should have ordered one before lunch. The t shirt shop had great options if you wanted something to bring home. Looking forward to stopping by next time we are in town.

I spent my entire trip to Arizona looking for a killer local pasta place - Haunted Pizano delivered. The appetizers were delicious but the homemade tagliatelle was the star of the show. We loved everything we had - pizza, pasta, bread. It was all amazing. Can not rate it high enough!

This was a first time visit. We had come to this location when it was “Grapes” and decided to check it out when we were next in town. It’s a nice change, we absolutely loved the food, it was delicious. In particular the Caesar salad was superior. My companions both had the pizza/salad combo, and liked it very much. Good service, the atmosphere is OK, but we’re stuck inside because the diners I was with do not like to eat alfresco. I like their patio and would’ve sat out there if I had the choice. I recommend this restaurant if you visit Jerome.

This tiny hole in the wall, with barely enough room to fit 12 people has so much charm and chill relaxing vibes, full of amazing smells and foods. The people working here(who I'm guessing are the owners) are so awesome. The food tastes amazing and super like home made with high end restaurants flare and flavors! (All made to order so slight wait on the food, but very much worth the wait) It's so worth coming in for the food alone! Everything else is a plus!! Recommended foods: Am quesadilla and the Mr.Breakfast sandwich

The best little breakfast place in all of Arizona. The owner Chad, rumored to be Chevy Chase's half brother, always makes for a memorable Jerome experience. Arguably the best coffee, and egg and ham bagel in the West.

If you want to be treated like crap, this is a place to go. Came in 45 minutes before closing and was told no food except for sweets, which we didn’t come in for food. We just wanted to get a coffee. we were ignored for about five minutes. Had to find our own menu which was stashed on the counter and seated ourselves and then finally was greeted. I asked if they had any sugar-free coffee drinks and he said yes just black coffee with no sugar. And it was not said nice. Apparently I offended him by the request and he just got worse. Combative and nasty. My daughter ordered a scone which was delicious. That is the only upside. She said the coffee was ok. My husband and myself had Diet Coke. When we left, Chad did not say a single word to us. He was probably one of the most rude proprietors I’ve ever met. I read in one of the reviews that Chad had lived here 17 years and seems to think he’s superior. I am also local and have lived in the area for 30 years. Be nice to your customers. I would never ever go to the establishment again. $17.76 A small coffee, 3 cans of Diet Coke and a scone.

Small, but quaint café in the heart of Jerome. The owner operate is a one man army serving up delicious breakfast and great coffe.

This was such a delicious spot. We stuck around, nursing our drip coffees after eating just to soak in the friendly service and quaint atmosphere. I enjoyed a delightfully heaping portion of ham, egg, apple, and spinach on a bagel. If you’re looking for tasty, underpriced, fast service, this is your spot. Don’t forget the fresh bakery goods!

The food was fresh & delightful. The fresh-made pico was scrumptious. I can’t have gluten, but they make fresh scones for those of you who can! Highly recommend stopping in. The place is small, and that represents half the charm. Vintage feel and has a lava lamp too. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. This place is a breath of fresh air in a manic world. I’d assume the only 1-star reviews for this place were from people who either don’t pay attention to what’s happening around them, or they are entitled and need to be told to be nice. Twice during my visit, I heard the owner stand up for his other customers and his place. Once he told someone to be patient. *sigh* What a joy to hear an owner point out the customer isn’t always right.

So…first off, the barista, Chode (real name Chad), was nothing short of this moniker. He and his trendy hipster cohort displayed an air of superiority that was hysterically out of touch for a so-so coffee spot — I refrain from classifying this as a cafe despite the title — in the middle of the desert. I think perhaps they thought that because Maynard from Tool planted roots there that it made them cool by association, which it did not. Having met Maynard one of the times I was in Jerome, I can honestly say he was less socially awkward than these two “tools”. All puns aside, do yourself a favor and either don’t go there at all or stop in and holler out “Chode” for restitutions sake.

This was the first place we ran into when we got to town, so we stopped. Very small menu, they only have a microwave and a toaster oven so you're not going to get anything other than that. There are a lot of bees inside so if you're allergic I don't recommend. The lady that served us was super super nice. And the cook was okay, I said something and I think he took it wrong, so it got weird. Cute place , but only three small tables and the bathroom is across the street. And isn't open in the morning when the restaurant is. Eggs seemed to be done in microwave...

Nestled within the Jerome Grand Hotel, Asylum Restaurant offers an upscale American dining experience with a touch of Southwestern flair. The restaurant boasts scenic views of the Verde Valley, providing diners with a picturesque backdrop to enjoy their meals. Housed in a former hospital, the restaurant's decor features beautiful art deco elements that pay homage to the building's history.
The Asylum never disappoints! We hadn't been back in awhile, but everything was amazing as usual. Don't miss the signature pumpkin soup. It's the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The scampi was delicious as well. The ambiance of the place awesome. Old and kinda creepy, yet a thoroughly modern restaurant and the wait staff are all wonderful. And they make a killer espresso martini!

Our last visit, many years ago, was fantastic, and we were hoping to relive it. We were a bit disappointed, to be honest. While a lovely vintage vibe and beautiful view over Jerome, the Spooky vibe is gone. That's what made it unique. Now, there is one empty chair in a corner if a ghost wants to sit. After being seated, it took a long time to get water and menus. It wasn't very busy at all, 5 tables total. Our waitress did not tell us about the specials, and after hearing another waitress run through the 3, that night, I would have opted for one of them, had ours done so. The food was good, steaks were tender, but mine was definitely not medium. I did not send it back as, it did taste good and not too dry. Our $19 slice of Pecan pie did taste amazing, but not what we expected for the price. Also, our waitress said this was her favorite, then proceeded to tell the table behind us that the chocolate cake was. The cake is definitely the way to go. We did see one person send their food back, too. Really was a bit of a disappointing night.

This was an excellent restaurant with a superb setting. The decor was old-fashioned elegance with a funky vibe. The history of the hotel added to the ambiance and fun conversation. We had a table right by the window which provided an outstanding view of Jerome and the red rocks of Sedona in the distance. The staff was friendly and attentive. We went for lunch. The portions were all good sizes. One of the best Caesar salads I have had. The butternut squash was very flavorful and had an extra kick to it. The vegetarian sandwich was big and could have easily been shared by two people. The fries were hot and fresh and cooked just right as was the buffalo chicken wings. They gave us fresh homemade whole grained bread with the soup and salad and the bread was fresh, soft, and delicious. We did not get dessert as we were too full but we will be back to try dinner and dessert another time. This place may be a little bit pricier but worth every penny. The free matched was a fun throwback to olden times. In addition, they had a nice outdoor patio built right against the red rocks and outdoor seating for people with pets.
Sandee A — Google review
We arrived and it took a while to be greeted. The gentleman who greeted us seemed to be very lethargic and did not seem happy with our arrival. It was odd. We asked for a table with a view. There was an open table right near the window with a fabulous view but it needed to be cleaned from the last party that was seated there. There were no other patrons in the restaurant. He seated us in an adjacent table. When someone finally cleaned off the table, we asked to be moved to the table with the nice view. It was much better. I think the host just didn't want to have to clean off the table for us. We ordered the artichoke appetizer. The herb used on the artichoke had a strong flavor that was offputting. The accompaning sauces did not help. The salad was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was nice and interesting. The view was really nice and there was a nice breeze coming through the open windows that we enjoyed. I'm not sure I would send others here just from the way we were greeted and felt throughout the meal. No one seemed friendly or welcoming.

Stopped here for lunch on our drive back to Phoenix from Sedona and loved it. Good service, a tasty salad, and that kitschy, cool, slightly haunting ambiance that makes the Jerome Grand Hotel so unique. Definitely worth a stop.

This place is awesome. The foods was great and the staff was even better. I would definitely come back here.

Made it for sunset and moonrise. Spectacular views from the dining room. Dining room and bar seem original to this historic hotel, with newer finishes. The venue is itself with a visit. Creative beverages, creative dishes, enthusiastic wait staff. Had the copper camp old fashioned, revisited butternut squash soup, chilean sea bass and the pecan pie. Taste was exquisite and artistically presented. The sea bass was topped with pickled peppers. The pecan pie was a little too moist with the soak of bourbon. The price is on the high end, but the experience was well with it.

Excellent food - lots of love in the dishes for sure. The fries are delicious and service is great. Cool bit of history too - worth checking out if in town.😋

Great small restaurant in my new fav tourist town. Burger & salad were delicious, server was friendly and efficient. The theme was on point, I didn't expect to see imagery of an old western red-light district, but a great reminder of the true history of the sometimes wild west. Worth the stop!

I picked this restaurant for the unique menu titles speaking to the history of the town which did not disappoint. A very small, history rich feel that was quite enjoyable and you get to see the slant of being on the mountainside when your drinks are on the table. You may also get some additional information of the history of the building and a ghost story too. We went around 2pm and we got the last table, so be prepared to wait in busy season. Food was very good, and as original as named. Our server was great but be prepared to sit and chat because food takes a while to come out. Price was a little on high side but ambiance was fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing food, we had the Belgian Jenny Burger and the Gypsy salad. Both were absolutely delicious, definitely going to be regulars here. Can't wait to go back and try the others! The view outside the window was perfect for a mid-day lunch, being able to eat some delicious food then walk outside and enjoy the beautiful town of Jerome makes for a really enjoyable day.

We went here for lunch. It’s a very small place , clean , colorful and great design. The waitress was super nice . After looking at the menu we asked if the owner was Greek and she said he is Italian and he is also the cook. We ordered The Venus Pita with Rebel Fries. It was outstanding and we really enjoyed it. The price was reasonable also.

Omgosh!!!! A place NOT to be missed if you're visiting Jerome! Or worth the trip if it isn't already on your itinerary! This is a charming little place rich with history, fun decor and art work. Wonderful ambience! The menu itself is a riot... and the food is excellent. The fries were crispy and perfect...the burgers were wow, and the service was exceptional. I'm so glad we visited. Definitely will return!

Lunch for 5 with 2 salads and a split appetizer! The salads were quite large and the falafel was perfect. The venue and quite small (5-6 tables) with limited seating, but definitely worth it if you have the time. The Bloody Mary was tasty with a nice assortment of veggies. The service was great and a mostly full bar was available. We would definitely return to explore more menu options. Cheers 🍻

Jerome's Sliding Jail is a unique attraction in the town of Jerome, Arizona. Once known as 'The Wickedest Town in America,' Jerome had a rowdy past filled with drinking, fighting, and gambling. The sliding jailhouse has an intriguing history - it gradually moved over 200 feet from its original location down the side of a mountain. Visitors can explore this curious phenomenon at Jerome's Sliding Jail Park near the Visitors Center.
Super cool museum piece of history, and it’s free.
Mario B — Google review
I’ve never heard of a jail sliding down a mountainside so I had to see this for myself. Sure enough the jail’s walls and floor have been destroyed. It’s just sitting where it landed.
Kathy T — Google review
Jerome sliding jail is probably missed by most visitors because it s a block or so off the main shopping area, but it is a key historical component of Jeromes history and worth the stroll to see it. I suggest visiting Jerome and the tourist areas prior to the summer heat setting in, but if you find yourself visiting during that time, remember to carry plenty of water to stay hydrated. Enjoy Jerome, it's one of the best historical mining towns.
Michelle B — Google review
Great little town on the hill. Very cute! Tons of small shops and fun places to belly up to the bar!
Minnesota F — Google review
I love that they don't embellish the history of this little jail. They clearly state that the jail was moved to its final resting place to clear the road it had landed on when it quit moving on its own. It appears that there have been some efforts to preserve the jail, but if they do not take further measures there may be nothing left to see but a pile of rubble. So if this is something you would like to see, get up here while you can.
Coke F — Google review
I love Jerome! So much to see in such a small area. All the little shops are great, and I have to get my burger fix at the Haunted Hamburger every time I visit
Gigi D — Google review
Expected a little more, but it is definitely cool. I guess just not as historic as you would think it would be. But the whole town up there is really cool and worth checking out!
Lisa S — Google review
It was a rainy day and we made an extra stop to cruise through Jerome. My kids thought a jail sliding through town was pretty cool so we were glad to get a little wet to take a peak inside and grab a few photos. In my previous trip, I did a ghost hunting tour that also visited the jail and we brought out am/fm radios and asked the ghosts questions. It was pretty interesting.

Great experience. Great food in an old, historic building. Oldest restaurant building in Arizona. The bbq was outstanding. We had the J sandwich and the meat sliders. Fried zucchini as a side was out of this world. All good.

A Hidden Gem in Jerome with Incredible BBQ! What a beautiful little town Jerome is—tucked away in the hills like a hidden treasure. We stopped to take pictures among the stunning wildflowers blooming along the roadside, and the scenery alone made the visit worth it. But the real highlight? Lunch at Bobby D's BBQ. The food was absolutely amazing. You can tell they put heart and soul into their BBQ—perfectly smoked, full of flavor, and served with a smile. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the historic setting just added to the charm. If you're anywhere near Jerome, do yourself a favor and stop by Bobby D’s. Great food, great views, and a truly memorable small-town experience.

First, the good: Service was outstanding, friendly, attentive and prompt. The building is very cool and historic. The bbq sauces were very good. I really wanted to like this place but the food just wasn’t very good. Brisket and ribs were extremely dry and didn’t have much flavor. My wife’s burger was thin and easily fell apart. The beans were too saucy and sweet while the cornbread was super dry. I didn’t finish either. Maybe it’s good bbq for a tourist town or maybe it’s better on different days… but we know bbq and this was mediocre at best while charging premium prices.

My favorite spot for BBQ in Jerome - their sauces to die for - bought all 4 of them to take home with me for tailgating! Love smoked wings and brisket- great beer selection you can try before you buy - love the patio- and always the service is superb- today Felix just made my day! And all other times even when it started pouring raining we were on patio and had fun savoring the food but not wanting to go inside as the views are spectacular! Smoked bbq cannot get better than this!

This place is amazingly delicious.. the smell of BBQ brought us to this place . Great atmosphere great service. I got BBQ ribs with fries and cornbread. Delicious. Loved the fries. Cornbread was spot on and BBQ ribs were fall of the bone. I highly recommend this place . We will defently be visiting this place in the future.

Food was fantastic and the service was very friendly. It’s a little pricey but I’d go again. I had the brisket sliders which could have used a little more meat for the price, but everything else’s was delicious. Wife enjoyed her Arizona Sunset drink and the kids enjoyed their burgers. So much that it was a quiet drive back to the PHX valley for dad as they were all passed out.

Made the trip back to Jerome mainly to come here and was not disappointed. The shop is super chill, there's only a couple tables and a long bar to stand at but you can also walk around and shop. Anna, who was helping us was really cool, very informative of the wine and vineyards and had an awesome personality. They have some great wines, and the tasting was fun and a must do.

Insanely cool decor, Alan and Brian are very nice and patient men, i expressed that i hardly drink due to an alcohol sensitivity and was just there for a wine flight sampling and a chance to see the business, Brian met someone from Vernon for the first time, and i tasted wine for the first time. I tried 3 whites and a rosé, but I dont recall the names. The wines were palatable in spite of my sensitivity to the taste and affects of alcohol, so i guess that means its great quality wine... I lingered for a while to let the intense buz I got die down, and really enjoyed the time I spent here. Wonderful experience and great conversation. Thank you so much! You guys are almost 2,000 miles from my home, but I certainly hope and wish to see this place again.

Driving through the Southwest this place was on the route to Nevada. I’ve always wanted to see what MK does with his wine ambitions. Perfect opportunity. They provided me with a bottle of red and white (Anubis and Agostina), for my parents, both old school US Army Vietnam War veterans who love their wine. My father was especially pleased that the name is Caduceus. He is a retired doctor, both from civilian/military sectors. The caduceus has always been a symbol which I associate with him. He knows red wine and he was impressed with this. My mother loves white wine. When she opened this and smelled it, her eyes widened and she smiled. She loves it. Thank you, very respectfully.

I’m a huge Tool fan so ultimately this brought me here. I do enjoy wine and I was excited about trying Maynard’s creations. I did a tasting with a cheese board and all the wines I tried I enjoyed. I will say our server was very dry. I could not tell if she was being rude or just sarcastic. She was very knowledgeable about the wines and the processes though. Overall very cool and glad I stopped by. They have cool shirts and other merchandise to purchase too.

My kids and I had the best time here!! Not only was the breakfast sandwich one of the best we ever had, Rusty's burrito was also AMAZING! And....What a sweetie behind the counter today! Can't screw up breakfast. Or maybe you can... but this place didn't. I ordered the Miners Breakfast with a side of biscuits and gravy. It was very good. The place is very small, service is good, coffee is hot, bacon is legit - thick and smoky. If you're in the area, I too, recommend stopping in.

If you're not careful, you might overlook this delightful venue as it is DOWN THE STAIRS beneath the Christmas Store sign as you come into the town of Jerome to the left before the stop sign! We were all delighted, the 4 of us, at this wonderful discovery! We all had different menu items...hubby and I met my cuz and her fiancee for lunch and tour of the shops in Jerome. We are locals and this is under new management and we all were delighted with the Chef's take on many comfort foods in the menu! One was Flap Jacks that was raved about as the, "...best ever had.." by our eldest member of our group and picky on his praises, hubby had their Philly Cheese Steak that he said was better than he had in Philly! I had a wonderful take on a standard BLT that added turkey & avocado and on great sourdough bread! Their salads and freshly made dressings were heavenly as well. They also have a nice variety of teas, hot &/or cold. Will make a point to eat there on our next visit! A must-have for us, check it out! 😋🤠

Stopped into this venue on a Monday afternoon for a bite of lunch. They have a nice patio for dining as well as inside seating... We were definitely looking for the patio. The way their system works is you order the sandwich etc of your choice inside and then they bring it out to you. I enjoyed their hot cilantro pesto chicken sandwich with Jack cheese and added lettuce tomato onions and olives. See pic. For a beverage I had a craft soda, they have an excellent selection. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and the food is delicious! Definitely worth a stop for a bite in Jerome.

I love Jerome, And I also love sandwiches so my wife and I came in to eat today. The gentleman behind the counter was very outgoing and personable. I ordered the pastrami and provolone and my wife ordered a turkey sandwich. Both sandwiches were fantastic, bread was crispy, ingredients were fresh, the beer was fantastic as well as my wife ordered one of the strawberry blonde beers she said it was very good. If you like sandwiches and good quality ingredients which I think we all do I definitely recommend this place. Very clean in good quality food.

The Hilltop Deli is located in Jerome Arizona. We had the pleasure to meet Scott. The food is delicious you must try the chili. The vintage sodas are delicious as well. Try Dr.Enuf. The staff is friendly and the environment is breathtaking.

Really cool sandwich shop overlooking the Verde Valley. Very cool vibe; drinks are served in Mason jars and the walls showcase local artwork. The lemonade was delicious! Kind of expensive, but definitely worth it, if only for the views. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Visitors to Jerome should also check out the Wicked City bar downstairs for a beer, and fans of 20th century American industrial history (or old stuff in general) should head to the Gold King Mine down the road.

Not only is the location fantastic, but the food was incredible also. The deli cuts were fresh, sandwiches were generously sized, and the unique selection of drinks was a fun addition. Such a warm and cozy lunch, definitely would return here.

I admit I didn't expect much, but the cute arty deli is a hidden gem. I had the French dip, recommended to me, and it was the best I have ever had. The staff recommended apple pie with melted cheddar. It was Amazing, I will never eat it another way again. Friendly, clean, affordable, and delicious. This is now a must stop for us for all future road trips to and through Jerome.

By far the best sandwich in the Verde Valley! Friendly staff and the food is so well crafted. Portions are more than adequate and the price is fair. My wife and I shared a French Dip and a Ham/Avo/Bacon/Sprout sandwich and the kids had pastrami. All of us loved it. The French Dip, best I’ve ever had! We come from Prescott all the time which is an hour away just for the sandwiches. There are other good restaurants in Jerome but this is by far our favorite. Oh, and the beer is ice cold!

The service was GREAT and the food was AMAZING! This will be a place we eat at any time we're near by our even passing through. The guy taking our order was over and above. Great with my 7 year old and very helpful and informative with our order. The view is unforgettable! Even though this was firing the pandemic, they made everything easy and comfortable. Thank You

Gold King Mine & Ghost Town is a fascinating abandoned town in Jerome that offers visitors a glimpse into the past. The site features dilapidated buildings, an old mine, and an extensive collection of vintage automobiles and trucks. It's full of history, allowing visitors to experience what life was like in the area years ago. For just $22 for two people, it’s incredibly affordable compared to other attractions in the area. The working mill and car graveyard are both curious sights worth exploring.
My husband and grandson met Don at an ATHS Truck Show in Colorado Springs almost 20 yrs ago! They immediately hit it off, so much alike. Don invited us to come see him in Arizona, but unfortunately we are just now able to visit. This place had been on my husband's bucket list every since he met Don. Unfortunately Don has passed and Jim wasn't able to converse with him, but it was a special occasions and we got to meet and visit with his daughter and grandson. This place got 5 stars from us!!!

The perfect place if you love old cars and tools! The ghost town has contraptions and mechanical vehicles throughout its property. It takes around 30 minutes to see everything, but you’ll need more time if you want to “pan for gold. Note for families with small children: It’s a definite “do not touch” environment since almost everything is covered in rust.

Fun time! Went there with my wife and two teen sons the Monday after Easter, late in the afternoon. We all enjoyed it. Younger kids would really enjoy this too. A good display of an old mining town. A ton of historical items around. They also have life animals and gem 'mining', but we did not do the mining. A good time was had by all.
Eric R — Google review
It was something different, fun to do, and passed the time. REALLY liked the gold mining! (That was our purpose for going.) The place is a cross between a museum, a junk yard, an art exhibit, a ghost town, and a Renaissance Fair, minus the food and people. We followed Google maps directions and found it just fine. In Jerome there's an old style black & white oil truck with a big red arrow on top - follow it to the mine. Neat views! Cool stuff to see. There's a store with a nice selection of souvenirs and jewelry, and fossils. There are paths to take to buildings and exhibits. (Earth path vs paved path, so if there's moisture there will be mud). I recall a dentist, a blacksmith, sheds of vintage vehicles, the gold and gem mining, and a fake mine entrance. There is so much to look at your eyes are constantly moving. The blacksmith was there selling wares (hooks & hangers he forged, etc). There are flowers, plants and cactus, rocks, and bits of rusted or enameled parts scattered and displayed throughout. Little details everywhere. Its evident someone (many people) took time to create this southwestern ghost town wonderland. I think we paid $12 a person to get in and explore, and our bags of material to pan were maybe $25 a person? Gem bags were less cost. And the gold miner guide was very nice, and it was evident he enjoyed it. Fun day! We certainly didn't regret it. And now are addicted to gold panning...
Andrea N — Google review
A very fascinating place with sooooo much to see, you could literally spend all day here, my husband didn't want to leave. It would be nice if some of the youth activities were included but feeding the animals, geode, and gold panning are all extra. There is very little shade so be prepared for that.

What a wonderful and fun experience with friends at the mine on Saturday. We learned about the operations and saw the equipment. We even got to look for gold and copper. Every member of staff was very welcoming and friendly. Animals are adorable. It was a great way to start a birthday celebration weekend.

Had a wonderful time. The views were absolutely beautiful. The ride was bumpy but fun. Vivian was an excellent guide, so friendly, very knowledgeable, and an excellent driver. I would recommend this tour to anyone and would say ask for Vivian.
LaDessa F — Google review
So reading other reviews and going to the place it's easy to see people chalking it up to a junkyard, but that's from visitors who don't appreciate nostalgic things. Everything is American made steel and cars, it allows people to see past beauty made at home. You really have to love learning and looking at antiques to appreciate this place. We spent 2 1/2 hrs here. Feeding animals, doing the mining activities and just looking around. It's fun seeing historical places still operating. Plus the people running it tell about the town's history and mining. Just a good place to explore. Our kids age 6 and 15 both had fun

Jerome Ghost Tours offers an in-depth exploration of the town's history, guided by the Jerome Historical Society to ensure accuracy and insight. The Wild, Wild West tour provides a comprehensive look at Jerome's past through engaging storytelling and visits to significant landmarks. Led by knowledgeable guides like Courtney, visitors gain a deep understanding of the town's evolution from its mining boom to its present-day revival. This 1.5-hour tour is highly recommended for those curious about Jerome's captivating history.
My husband and I visited Jerome to celebrate our anniversary. We booked a Pandora's Box tour for 9pm, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!!! Maverick was great, super knowledgeable and engaging. My husband and I had a good amount of activity on our tour, especially in the cemetery. This was our first ghost tour ever, and we loved it!! Everyone was super friendly, explained everything to expect, showed us how to use the equipment, and really gave us in depth history on the town. Thank you so much for all the fun!! 👻

This was one of the most amazing tours I've ever been on! Courtney was absolutely amazing! She is an amazing tour guide and made the experience. She was very in tune not only with the spirits but with the customers as well. She shared her perspectives with us on the many questions we asked. It was such an enlightening experience to learn so much about the paranormal, the spiritual aspects of things and she really took her time to explain what was happening. We learned so much about Jerome's history, got plenty of stories and lots of communication. We didn't get much activity to start out, but she encouraged us to be patient and stay optimistic and sure enough the spirits began to talk quite a bit. The high school was a bit overwhelming and she continued to make sure we were all doing ok. The cemetery was my favorite location and where I got the best communication. I highly recommend the Pandora's Box Tour and Courtney as your guide!

Ghosts, stories, and the best tour guide you could ask for. Ed was amazing and knew so much about the area!! The equipment that we had on the tour allowed for a great experience speaking to our friends being the grave. My 11 yr old went and thought it was cool, especially when we asked the ghost personal questions. Don't miss an opportunity to learn about Jerome and speak to old miners! Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟 5 stars

Fantastic evening with Courtney and fellow ghost adventurers! We started at Jerome Ghost HQ for a quick intro and to pick up our ghost hunting gear. Then we ventured out on a walking tour of Jerome followed by a mystery machine ride to an old high school before finishing at the local graveyard. Visiting all these locations at night was a surreal experience! Learned a lot about the history of Jerome and potentially met a few of it's former, living challenged, residents 👻 I would definitely stay in Jerome and take this tour again the next time I'm in this area!

I had a rough start due to booking through a travel agency. I thought it was discounted, but it turned out to be the same price and with a headache. They doubled booked my group, then they canceled both of my reservations. So when we arrived for the tour I wasn't in their system. I booked this for my sister's birthday, so I was upset. It was really busy, so I wasn't sure if there were any spaces left for the tour. We were so grateful Aaron not only took the time to listen, but helped us solve the issue and even got us on the tour! While we waited for our tour to start we were able to hang out with Rue, the shop pup! Courtney was our tour guide. She was kind and definitely knows her stuff. We asked many questions and she kindly answered all of them. My favorite part was the history she gave of the town in great detail and enthusiasm! My sister really loved the devices we were given for the tour. We heard her name come through the voice box and few responses to our questions. I highly recommend taking a tour, you won't be disappointed! Thank you again Aaron and Courtney!

We did the Pandora’s Box, 2 hour ghost tour from 7-9 pm. It was absolutely phenomenal! Having the equipment was really cool because I’ve never heard of a ghost tour providing that. That’s part of why we jumped on this tour opportunity when we discovered Jerome. Courtney was absolutely amazing. She was bubbly and joking with us while taking care to communicate the history well and ensure we’re all comfortable. She checked in with us multiple times to make sure everyone felt good and gave us lots of information throughout the night. We had a decent amount of activity through the spirit boxes and a lot of activity with the EMF readers. We also rented an additional thermal camera and it was cool to see temperature changes in places where there were voices coming through the spirit boxes. I would highly recommend this tour and ask if Courtney will be your guide because she was the best!

This is was my 3rd time touring with this company! Each time was an awesome experience. The first tour I took with my parents was The Wild Wild West Tour. The check in process was smooth and the staff were kind and helpful. Courtney was our guide and she was sweet, kind and considerate of the walking pace and breaks were timed perfectly for my mother. We learned a lot about how Jerome became the Wickedest City, the mine owner, and what the residents of the town endured. She then shuttled us to some of Jerome's key landmarks and continued the history in the van. We were able to get out at the locations which was nice. Our second tour was the The Jerome Ghost Walk. We were given some more history, ghostly stories and equipment to use on the tour. This was a new experience for my parents and they had such a fun time. We took this tour at night, so it added to the spookiness of the tour. The next night I was here by myself and decided to take the extended ghost tour called the Pandora's Box and they did not disappoint. The first hour of the Pandora's Box is the Ghost Walk, so it was a repeat for me, but didn't quite feel like it. I had Courtney as my guide for the Pandora's Box and she gives so much history and stories, it was nice to hear it again so I could actually remember it better. She was attentive, kind and helped us communicate with the spirits. Especially, since I was solo for this tour it was nice to have her company. She asked the spirits if they remembered me from the night before and they said my name through the spirit box! I really enjoyed going into the old high school because I could definitely feel the heavy energy there. My favorite spot was the cemetery. I got so much communication there and I got a few names to come through. If you're looking to learn about Jerome and have some fun ghostly encounters I highly recommend the Pandora's Box tour! It was an amazing experience. I also highly recommend you request Courtney... you won't be disappointed!

I highly recommend the Jerome Ghost Tours company. I accidentally booked the wrong date. I only realized what I had done when they called me to see if I needed help finding my way to their office. I was states away and a week from arriving in AZ. They rebooked me without any problems. Parking was a bit confusing but the receptionist was very helpful in guiding me to their parking lot. They give out equipment as an extra which was awesome. We have been on tours all throughout the US and a couple over seas. Yet this tour was unlike any other! Our guide Courtney was enthusiastic and funny while sharing the history of the town. She brought it to life in such a way that kept our interest throughout tour. The ghost stories and ghost equipment added just the right amount of fun we were looking for. We really appreciated the passion and respect Courtney demonstrated for not only the spirits but the people on the tour. She took the time to make sure we were all comfortable in some of the more creeper locations. If you are considering taking a tour I recommend some good outdoor shoes, the 2 hour ghost tour with the shuttle and of course Courtney as your guide to complete the experience!

Nestled in the scenic hills of Jerome, Arizona, The Original Jerome Winery is a charming rustic-chic destination that invites wine enthusiasts to explore its exquisite offerings. Established in 2001 by winemaker John McLaughlin, this winery takes advantage of the region's unique terroir, where hot desert days meet cool valley nights—ideal conditions for cultivating exceptional wine grapes.
Great wine tasting experience! The decor is eclectic and the vibe is welcoming! Really cool artwork and natural lighting! The host was very knowledgeable and really added to the whole excursion! We enjoyed the white flight and it made our trip! Happy travels to all on Christmas! Hawaii Bobs Garden Art

The wine flights and stellar staff at [The Original Jerome Winery] really cask a spell on you. We had a grape time enjoying the flight selections, which even included delightful ports. The stylish décor was just the cherry on top. This place is definitely ferment to be a Jerome favorite!

This is our favorite winery in Jerome. Best tasting and most unique dry wines... Red and white! The guy working (kaine?) made it so much fun. He's amazing. Love all the nicknames and personality he gives to the wines. The decor is so cute. I want my house to look like this place. Generous pours on the flights and glasses. Pricing is great.

Peter was an amazing host, and the wine is delicious! The space is quaint and quirky and inviting. I highly recommend stopping in for a wine tasting, I tried all the whites, and my husband tried all the reds, and there wasn't a single bad wine. This was a wonderful experience if you like wine.

This is one of my favorite businesses of all time. Not a penny spent here is ever questioned. A trip here consists of delicious wine, fun and interesting art, as well as peaceful views. Support your local wineries and drink good ol' AZ wines at Cellar 433. You won't regret it. Also, if you love their selection as much as I do, you can sign up for their membership and have it shipped straight to your door twice a year while enjoying a handful of other percs each time you visit. Cellar 433, I love you!

The Spirit Room, located beneath the Connor Hotel, is a vintage bar offering live music and a laid-back atmosphere. Adjacent to the Douglas Mining Museum, it's an ideal spot to unwind with a cold beverage while enjoying historic surroundings. Visitors can also head to Mike & Jerry's for billiards on antique pool tables. Known for its ghostly sightings and lively ambiance, this establishment provides an opportunity to savor local brews or cocktails while reflecting on a day in Jerome.
The bar tender was very charismatic, and he made our green tea shots on point. I couldn't feel the cold outside. Mahalo for the hospitality. ❤️🌺

Music was fantastic. Had a good laugh when we walked in, bartender looked at us weird like we were gonna be problems, when he checked my id, then walked away to check it under the light I realized he thought we were underage!! To be fair, we were the youngest people in there by 20years, but it was a good giggle. Loved the mural, and absolutely LOVED the free feminine products in the bathroom. Good on y’all.

We spent the whole day here drinking beer, playing Scrabble, and drinking beer. The bartenders were super fast and super friendly. There wasn't anyone waiting more than a couple of minutes for a drink and the drinks were great.

I stopped in early on a Tuesday so at first I was the only one - a couple came in shortly after and Megan was so friendly and chatted with us while we had our drinks. She was great! And my drink was delicious too!

Took a drive along some winding back roads in the countryside. We went looking for fall foliage. Jerome is a quaint little town. Lots of art galleries and places to taste wine. It was one of the first real cooler days for us and we weren’t prepared with warmer clothing so we went looking for something hot to drink. Virtually not one decent coffee shop in Jerome. We decided on hot toddy’s Alcohol and warmth. What caught our attention was the music. Great band and perfect timing for a break. Order at the bar and grab a table anywhere. Definitely recommended for an afternoon break or if you’re spending the night they’re open pretty late on the weekend. No food as far as I can tell but for a drink and some entertainment this is the place in Jerome.

O J's Copper Country Fudge in Jerome is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. They offer an array of fudge flavors, ice cream, milkshakes, and even dog biscuits for furry companions. Visitors rave about the delicious Panuchi fudge and the friendly service from the staff. Additionally, if you're in the mood for more sweet treats, nearby candy shops like Rickeldoris Candy & Popcorn Co. are also worth checking out for chocolates and popcorn.
Stopped in here when I was in Jerome recently because I can't pass up a fudge shop that I haven't tried. This is possibly the best fudge I've ever had. Extremely creamy and rich but not too rich. The toffee was great too perfect blend of toffee and chocolate on top. The toffee was not too hard. My only regret is that I didn't buy more.

Great Fudge- probably the best I have ever had when we were recently in Jerome. Ordering on line was not very smooth. We paid 18.00 for priority shipping and SPS decided to take 7 days to deliver. I was looking forward to treating friends to the product while visiting them but the product arrived late and not in great shape. The fudge was not wrapped to keep that long and one of the two pounds came completely out of its box, covered in packing material. I emailed the company about the issue and have not received a response- several days later Update - it's been plenty of time and no response at all from the company regarding the condition of the product. I also notice that they do not look at their online reviews. I will not be a patron if I am ever back in Jerome

Lots of fun ice cream flavors here, and there's so many assorted fudge flavors as well on display. On the shelves, they had more candies and sweet items. There's something for everyone to satisfy your sweet cravings. The employee was welcoming and friendly. Note- there are about 5 or so steps to get up to the entrance, unfortunately no accessible ramp.

I want here after dinner at tried a few different fudge flavors and they are also good but I ended up going with Butterscotch caramel! If you're looking for a quick dessert this is a great place.

My son took me here while I was visiting. It must be something about the elevation, but it's the best fudge I've ever tasted. I got some of the rocky road fudge, dark chocolate sea salt caramel, and peanut butter. I drove 1200 miles round trip and it's worth the trip to get more.

Restaurant
Cornish Pasty Co is a charming eatery in Jerome, AZ, known for its traditional and vegan Cornish pasties as well as other English favorites. The restaurant offers a cozy and down-to-earth atmosphere. Customers can enjoy delicious Shepherd's Pie with ground lamb, flaky crusts, and delectable potato with cheese. The menu also features an Apple Caramel Pasty that tastes like apple pie and a PB&J pasty, although the distribution of ingredients could be improved.
This evening we embarked on a journey back to Jerome, Arizona for a delightful dinner experience. We were intrigued by a unique restaurant called Cornish Pasty Company. Chuck's familiarity with pasties, stemming from his time in England, sparked our curiosity. I, on the other hand, had yet to discover the joy of pasties. So we decided to dine there this evening. This restaurant's ambiance is enhanced by its moderate size and beautiful decor, which showcases historic photographs. A bar welcomes patrons at the entrance. The seating arrangements cater to diverse groups, offering booths and long tables suitable for large gatherings. Parking near the restaurant can be difficult, but visitors exploring Jerome's main street may discover available spots. While the restaurant's location requires climbing several flights of stairs, the wonderful food and experience make the ascent worthwhile. This restaurant's claim to fame is its Cornish Pasties, a classic British baked pastry hailing from Cornwall, reminiscent of an American hand pie. A pasty is essentially a D-shaped pocket of shortcrust pastry filled with meat and vegetables, carefully folded and crimped. We ordered several pasties, which were cooked and seasoned impeccably, resulting in a truly delicious and flavorful experience. Moreover, we ordered Tandoori Chicken Wings as an appetizer, which were exceptional, featuring Indian spices and a touch of heat. Following dinner, we opted for two desserts, each of which was delightful and delectable. The whipped cream accompanying the desserts was thick and served as a perfect accompaniment. The restaurant's menu also includes various other items, such as salads, as well as vegan and vegetarian options. The staff member was truly exceptional and provided outstanding assistance with the menu, exemplifying professionalism and a wealth of knowledge that elevated our dining experience. Her exceptional guest service extended to all patrons, making everyone feel valued. Her warm and engaging personality made our experience truly unforgettable. With her outstanding attitude and effortless communication style, she embodies the epitome of exceptional service This restaurant was a shining star, providing a lovely setting, incredible cuisine, and remarkable service. We will undoubtedly return to this superb establishment when we next visit Jerome, Arizona. What we ordered: Appetizers - Tandoori Wings GF Chicken tandoori marinade, oven baked, Served with lemon mint yogurt dip or ranch. Main Dishes - The Oggie (The Traditional Pasty) Steak, potato, onion, and rutabaga (swede) with side of red wine gravy or ketchup. - Balsamic Portobello Balsamic marinated portobello mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, spinach and fresh basil with a side of marinara Desserts - Banoffee Pie Graham cracker crust, layered with housemade caramel, fresh whipped cream, and topped with sliced bananas - Apple Caramel Pasty Apples, cinnamon, and caramel baked inside pastry Served with choice of ice cream and'or fresh whipped cream on the side, Banoffee Pie AGF (+$1)

I love a good twist on culinary tradition and this restaurant really delivers. We enjoyed a New World-Old World delight with the Cubano pasty. The garlic pork is succulent and tender. Pastry is light and flaky and there’s plenty of it so you have some for every bite. The cream sauce is excellent! Service was friendly and efficient and the restaurant is a pretty cool place to hang for lunch.
LS S — Google review
The food is so delicious and unique! I was a little worried that the pastry would be too thick. It definitely wasn't! There was so much filling and the perfect thin pastry covering. We tried 3 different, and they were all delicious. The meatball and Guinness Stew were the 2 favorites! The atmosphere was quaint and reminiscent of the mining history in the town. The staff were friendly and helpful. I chatted with the waitress and discussed the sage lemonade. She said she makes different flavors based on what local ingredients she can get. It was so unique and yummy! Hearty and warm, great on a summer day and absolutely perfect on a cool fall day! Jerome is a very cool little town, near the historic ghost town and mines. Definitely check out Cornish Pasty Co and grab lunch or dinner. Prices are mid. Not a cheap lunch, probably average for dinner prices.

Fantastic! Delicious food, unique location and setting, and great service. Huge variety of pasties and other food items. Everything we had was delicious. The Tandoori wings were amazing. There is an outdoor patio but we sat inside as it was a cooler evening. Inside has a great vintage vibe. Calling back to the old mining days. Jerome is a cool little town. Drive in for a pasty and walk around town.

Shepard's Pie with ground lamb was outstanding. That was a perfect dish. Truly one of the best I have ever been served. Very flakey crust, with a great crunch. Potato with cheese was delicious. Cheese had a crispy browning. Spicy red pepper soup was a tomato base and tasted italian. Apple Caramel Pasty was excellent. It tasted like apple pie. I would order again. PB&J pasty was good, but the ingredients weren't evenly spread so one bite I received globs of PB then the next a mound of jelly. It is also recommended to eat the pasty from the middle. Starting from sides may cause uneven food dispersion per bite. It was a calm atmosphere and the waitress was kind and knowledgeable about menu item availability. I would gladly return.

We were in Jerome today and were thrilled to see a Cornish Pasty open in the downtown area. We decided to go there for lunch. Things started out well. There was no wait at all. The service was decent, and our food came out rather quickly. The restaurant was beautiful, especially with the antique chandeliers and the damask wallpaper. One of my favorite things was the black and white picture-homage to the miners on one of the walls. I loved the high ceilings, and the windows were open, but it was 105 degrees today and there was no air conditioning, so they really do at least need a couple of larger ceiling fans for hot summer days. My only other complaint, and it’s a huge one, is that when we received the bill, the charges were an inaccurate reflection of the menu. In other words, I ordered an $8 glass of wine, and I was charged $11 for it. I had to keep my mouth shut and pay it because we were in such a hurry, but I was disappointed and won’t be dining here again. It was $45 for a Vegetarian Pasty, a salad, and a glass of wine. Although the food is good, that’s just too expensive for me, especially when I don’t know what surprises will end up on my bill.

Was not disappointed! Really enjoyed the leek soup, and the amount of yummy bread was outrageous! The pasty was good as well. Did not have to drink a lot of water afterwards so not too much salt thankfully. The ambience is outstanding as is the view. It’s my new favorite place in Jerome.

Absolutely delicious pasty's! They were sooo good that we came back a week later to try other ones. We tried the Cajun chicken, the chicken basil, and mexican style one! The soups with fresh bread were the highlights of the restaraunt, however. We tried the tomato, spicy pepper, and spinach mushroom walnut. The mushroom soup was soooo good that I looked up the recipe and have made it since returning home to enjoy! So glad we stumbled upon this place!! ❤️
