Playground
Largo Central Park is a stunning 70-acre urban park with a community center, multiple playgrounds, and a military court of honor. The park boasts lush lawns, beautiful gardens, water features, and a striking clock tower. Visitors can enjoy eight picnic pavilions and the accessible Rainbow Rotary Playground. Additionally, there's an outdoor Fit Zone with various workout stations.
This place is so amazing at Christmas time. The number of things for families to do is perfect. The lights are breathtaking, and the park is so dog friendly. We will always make this a part of our Christmas tradition.

Great park to walk around. Good activities. Nice playground.

Had sooo much fun!!! Happy July 4th 2025!!! The food and drinks were amazing! And everyone that was there celebrating fourth of July were so nice!! Everyone was laughing and smiling, kids and teenagers running around having a blast brought me back to childhood memories enjoying the holidays! This park is beautiful and I really enjoyed celebrating the fourth of July here.
Alyssa B — Google review
So much to do! The theater, the children's train, free movies outside, library etc. Theater hosts many outside holiday themed events. Parking is ample, I could go on, luv driving or walking thru when Christmas decorations are lite at night.
Karen P — Google review
Happy 30th Birthday. The park put on a great event. Games, music, food, and free haircuts from Hair Mechanix. Thanks to all the park volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a success.

Largo Central Park is a great park to just relax and take it easy. Fun activities for the whole family and a good place to exercise and enjoy the sun ☀️
Jay H — Google review
A great place for all ages! It is a big, beautiful park with a great playground, exercise equipment, lots of shaded lunch spots and beautifully landscaped trails.
Laura M — Google review
This is a beautiful park with lovely landscaping and many interesting bronze statues throughout. There is a miniature train you can pay to ride on (it was booked for a family event the day we were there). The playground is top notch, so much cool stuff for the little kids. This park is a true gem.

Nature preserve
Park
Largo Central Park Nature Preserve is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, offering a diverse range of outdoor activities. The park boasts over 130 species of birds, otters, red foxes, American alligators, marsh rabbits, wild turkeys, and bats. Visitors can explore the 5-mile canoe or kayak route that culminates at Park Boulevard and take in the scenic views from the observation tower. Additionally, there are interpretive displays and a butterfly garden to enjoy.
I stopped by for a short visit to get a bit of nature and was quite surprised at what a lovely park this place is. It is a nature preserve and so no playgrounds and such but there are places to sit. There are lovely boardwalk trails through the trees and around the pond. Not a big place and the trails are relatively short and easy. Highly recommended.
Thomas S — Google review
Nice short trail and there is a boardwalk leading to a small lake to look for some live creatures. Won’t worth a special trip if not in the area. Florida Botanical Gardens, which is free and not far away, is a more beautiful place to explore.
I C — Google review
Definitely a great place to go…especially if you are non native to Florida! 😊 plenty of wildlife, beautiful trails, clean bathrooms…the only qualm I had was the transmission towers next door. No grills fyi. It is FREE and plenty of parking. Trail is very clean.
Jennifer F — Google review
Beautiful florida nature but sad that the facilities aren’t being maintained. Canoe trail completely unusable due to being overgrown. Update10/7/25: received email from Parks Supervisor that they will work on attending to issues.

was pretty!! got to see an armadillo scrounging for food, the birds sun bathing got some easy excersize and saw a real florida lizard(the full green one) was a very nice afternoon

Nestled in the charming Teakwood Village, Roosterfish Grill is a delightful waterfront eatery that has been delighting diners for over six decades. This relaxed spot offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect for enjoying the fresh air while savoring an array of New American cuisine. Seafood lovers will find themselves in paradise with a menu featuring locally sourced fish, shellfish, and oysters alongside hearty options like grilled steaks and baby back ribs.
This is a very casual restaurant. The staff is friendly and I was impressed that the waiter memorized our orders. There are grilled options for fish which is great for food allergies. They do use butter on the grill so they did not use it for my cod. I had the asparagus which was okay. Honestly, it’s best with vegan butter so I think it was as good as it could be. 😉 The French fries were perfectly crisp and delicious. We kept joking about the paper towels which hang from the ceiling. You will never run out. 😂

1st time at this restaurant for brunch. Hostess greeting was friendly and was seated right away. Ordered the crab stuffed tilapia smothered in hollandaise w garlic mashed pots and Ceasar salad. Was not disappointed, I could actually taste the crab stuffing, fish cooked to perfection. My companions ordered the salmon oscar and Ipswich steamers and enjoyed their tasty dishes as well. Next time, I will order the steamers. The server was excellent. She got the order right and did not hover. Btw, the bartender made a mango Margherita to die for.

We enjoyed eating out on the water. Our server was amazing and very attentive , and the food was cooked to perfection.

First time coming here and it was decent. Lots of menu items for seafood lovers and plenty options for those who don't want seafood. The fried Mushrooms were fresh and made well, probably the best I've ever had! Only issue during the visit was receiving spoiled scallops, when you cut into them you could smell that they were no good. The sever replaced them but we didn't eat them at that point.
Ebony R — Google review
Enjoyed our first ever visit to Roosterfish Grill. We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner and took advantage of the early bird special AYCE Fish and Chips. Our waitress was sweet, attentive and on point throughout our entire visit. We will definitely be back for another dining excursion in the near future.

Roosterfish Grill – Review: Roosterfish Grill is a casual dining restaurant known for its seafood-focused menu, although it also offers a variety of grilled meats, burgers, and appetizers. The seafood dishes, like fish tacos and grilled fish plates, are often highlighted for their freshness and flavor. The ambiance is relaxed and family-friendly, with a coastal, rustic vibe that makes it ideal for casual meals or gatherings. Service is generally friendly and attentive, though it may vary during busy hours. Prices are moderate, reflecting the quality and portion sizes. Overall, Roosterfish Grill is recommended for seafood lovers and anyone seeking a laid-back dining experience with a diverse menu.

Started with the Calamari it was very rubbery served with a marinara sauce.Had the grilled grouper dinner, for $36 it could have been bigger not a lot of flavor ,the fries were very good and coleslaw tasted old.
Don W — Google review
I had a great time at this place. The atmosphere was cozy and full of color, and the paper towels hanging over the table were unique and convenient. The waitress was friendly but seemed a little overwhelmed and forgot to put in my Guinness order. When I asked, she took full responsibility, so I applauded her (Brittany). The food came out rather quickly, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. I ordered the calamari, which was tasty and not rubbery. The fish and chips were done well- the thin and delicious batter. The fries were a bit underwhelming, and I would say they were kid-sized portion-wise. My wife had the shrimp and scallops, and again, they were very tasty. She couldn't finish, and I was happy to help. My mother had the fish and shrimp—four pieces of fish and five to six shrimp—and she was very pleased as well. They also tossed in some light but very tasty hush puppies. I was visiting from out of town, and while I wouldn't make a special trip back if I were in the area, I would stop by again! Parking was pretty good. If it was busy, it could have been a problem. They take all forms of payment, including credit cards and cash.

Shopping mall
Pinellas Shopping Center, located across from Largo Mall, offers a variety of activities and amenities. The former two-story indoor mall has been transformed into an outdoor shopping destination with a diverse range of stores, including optical shops, discount stores, and shoe retailers. Visitors can also enjoy dining options and services like nail salons and hairdressers. The center features well-known establishments such as Publix and Home Depot, providing convenience for shoppers.
Parkside mall is absolutely amazing there is always something to do here whether you're getting your nails done your hair done grabbing a bite to eat or wanting to shop there is always something to do they have Optical places as you can see in the pictures there's many places to eat there shoe places there's discount stores and just a little fact this mall actually used to be a two-story indoor mall and they took it down and built it as an outdoor mall just like Largo Mall. It is a fun place to go and just spend the day with you either your hubby or your children you could definitely make a day of it.
Kristin N — Google review
Crazy traffic getting in and out of this plaza but they have a very nice Publix and Chase Bank.
Scott M — Google review
Nice little shopping center across from Largo Mall with a very nice Home Depot, Publix, Publix liquor store next to Publix and a couple other little shops that I can't remember. Has handicap parking and accessibility to all the stores. Has a Redbox and ATM inside Publix which is nice. Very clean and well organized. Only seen 1 shopping cart in the parking lot so that is always a plus for me because they always roll and hit cars due to ignorant, inconsiderate people that obviously do not care about other people's property!
Jon C — Google review
Went to Publix to pick up something I was in and out in a short nice store
Cathy S — Google review
I absolutely love Publix. It's very clean and the employees are phenomenal. I am vertically challenged. Lol. I love Publix brand yogurt with the fruit on the bottom. I was reaching on the top shelf and couldn't reach. At that time an employee walked by and said let me get that for you. She was a manager and she even took her time to go in the back and get more. I highly recommend this Publix.

Nature & Parks
John S. Taylor Park is a 156.5-acre green space in Largo, featuring a 53-acre freshwater lake and extensive trails for hiking and birdwatching. Visitors can enjoy picnics under the shady areas, go fishing on the lake, or play disc golf amidst the natural beauty of the park. The playground area is perfect for kids to have fun while adults relax with a good book or take leisurely walks along the multi-use trail.
Beautiful spot if you want to be by nature while you do a 2-mile walk around the water.

Nice park. Quite large and lots of shade trees. The lake worries me with kids or pets. Any lake that large in Florida has to have gators?
Perc P — Google review
This is one of my favorite parks. Saw a bunch of bunnies when we were there today. Counted 12 of them. It’s a mile loop around the lake. It has a brand new playground for the kids. Overall, a great park day. It’s missing a little library though.
Gabie P — Google review
We were staying about 2 minute walk from this park. The playgrounds were shaded and so great for our kids to run off some evening energy. Also a really great place to see some wild alligators! Very dog friendly. We visited this park several times during our stay and never got tired of it.

Love this place! Been going there for over 25 years! Also have a nice Frisbee golf course. Nice picnic area, and play Area for the kids. Keep the kids and small pets away from the water. Lots of Alagtors in the lake.

I have been in Pinellas for over 30 years. I had no idea this place existed until last week. It has a little kid playground, big kid playground, bathrooms, a couple of lakes, fishing and Frisbee golf. The landscape is excellent and diverse. It felt like old Florida. It was hard to find the shelter we had reserved but it was because I had no idea how big the park was. We had a wonderful time at the park.

Family restaurant
Largo Family Restaurant is a cozy, family-owned establishment that serves comforting breakfast to dinner dishes. Customers who visited for dinner had an excellent experience. The service was exceptional, with dishes arriving at the table promptly. The staff and servers were incredibly friendly. The food itself was delicious, served hot and fresh. One customer in the group ordered liver and onions and thoroughly enjoyed it. Another customer had breakfast which they relished completely; the pancakes were particularly delightful when paired with warm maple syrup.
❤️Largo Family Restaurant is hands down the best spot to hit up with the kiddos! We’ve had some of the most awesome family dinners and breakfasts here. The staff is always super chill and friendly, making you feel right at home. The food? Always piping hot and delish! The whole place has this amazing family vibe that just keeps us coming back. Plus, they have an amazing selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from: wine, beer and etc Whenever I’m in the area, this is my go-to lunch spot. You’ve gotta try their signature desserts - they’re out of this world! I never manage to snap a pic of the food because it’s so darn tasty that I remember to take a photo only after I’ve demolished it! Thanks, Guys!❤️

Good food. Reasonable prices. Very nice servers. Soups are the best! They give you a lot of food. I recommend the Mexican wrap and their breakfast. The taco salad is awesome too. They have daily specials and 3 kinds of soup daily too.

Have been going many many years weekly & often. Since new owner the food is terrible, most of the weekly regulars of years no longer come, prices increased, the waitresses that have been there 17 yrs+ and so good gone. New ones not good, friendly, nice or accurate on orders. Food i receive cooked terrible and taste bad. This was the favorite restaurant of hundreds since opened. Now even I can no longer go there myself and miss the old place badly. Twice I had to return 2 dinners the same night because do bad and forget ordering another. Paid for my soda and left. I wish the previous owner and staff was back. So I guess I will stay away.
Mary D — Google review
I have eaten at Largo family restaurant for years. The food was always good and reasonably priced. Recently new owners took over and greed ruined it. The quality of the food is rancid. They doubled the prices and charge prices not on menu. I recently went of Friday night for the fri ed cod. I asked if they had it and I said I'd take the special. The fish taste and quality was spoiled and seemed sour. I did not finish it. When the bill came I had been charged a Super charge $6 above the 13.99 special posted on the menu and on signage all over Largo. I was charged 21.99. I asked for a manager and was told they don't have mgr and owners were not in. I pointed out I had asked for and ordered the special and was over charged. I now know why their parking is always empty. People aren't coming in for awful food and super charged prices. It's a shame greed took over and ruined this wonderful ole Family restaurant. Don't waste your time ... they'll double your money for horrid food.
Tansie W — Google review
Jodi was our waitress and wow ! She suggested all the best choices for us. The mustard for the Kolbassa was top shelf. The breakfast was perfect ! Huge delicious eggs and the best Hash Browns ever. All at a great price too !!

I ordered the club omelet, and it was mostly eggs. A few pieces of meat were cold. The pancake was chewy and cold. The only good thing was the hot tea. It's hit or miss!👎

“It is a nice and clean place to eat” But since my last post it has changed dramatically on food quality. Food quality is really down on my perspective. The meat is pre-package meat don’t come Off Rotisserie pre-packets as you could see in the photo and overpriced for them because I really liked their food two years ago

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a health-conscious eatery chain that specializes in customized beverages and light meals. Among all the local tropical smoothie establishments, the West Bay location stands out as superior. The staff members working there exude constant cheerfulness and positivity, especially Zoes who consistently displays friendliness and approachability. In addition to their friendly demeanor, Jaden skillfully crafts the delicious smoothies that attract customers from far away; some even make a daily trip to this store.
Most all these chains look the same inside, as does this one. Cute, clean with friendly staff who took care to make my food how I requested 😋 I got a smoothie, too, but not one on the menu. They always allow me to customize it. This is wonderful to me since I travel quite a bit. It allows me to have a smoothie similar to what I would make for myself if I were home. If you travel, you understand how wonderful this really is. I love their Acai bowls and smoothies. I have ordered their hot food in the past, but I don't eat meat or dairy anymore. Their hot food is also good.
Tr1sh — Google review
Ordered the Acai Berry Blast with no sugar with vanilla whey protein. Its so good I had to go get another one almost daily every day this past few weeks. Employees were very nice and the store was super clean. +AAA all the way.
Ben U — Google review
This is just another smoothie place... NOTHING out of the ultra-ordinary. Staff was efficient BUT robotic, no pleasantries what-so-ever! Seating provided but super sterile. Manager appeared to be on location BUT preoccupied and apparently frustrated. This is simple... JUST CHOOSE ANOTHER SMOOTHIE PLACE!
Mark P — Google review
I always come into my local tropical smoothie because the staff never disappoints. I get my food quickly and the quality is always so consistent. Zoie always welcomes me in with a smile and is so knowledgeable about the menu. Just sharing my experience as I’ve been a regular for years.
Briana H — Google review
Very disgusted with this tropical smoothie location, I enjoy tropical smoothie itself but this location and its employees always seem to have an issue or make an incorrect smoothie or missing items. I called the store they attempted to make it right twice but what’s the point if it’s continuously wrong or improperly made. They have careless new employees that are making wrong smoothies and management seems to be doing nothing about it. That or the provide poor training. It’s ashame. The manager was nice but not accommodating to providing a refund when I stated I would bring the whole meal back that has not been touched due to losing appetite after this altercation and simply stating I just won’t come back any longer after many failed attempts of trying to give this TS another chance since it’s the closest location near me, but he refused, especially when this is a repeated issue and I spend ALOT of money here to have my lunch either picked up; or delivered. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. You don’t get the quality you pay for because it’s more than half the time improperly made.
Donna M — Google review
This was my first time eating here. I ordered on the app and chose curbside pickup. I waited 10 minutes past my pickup time and saw three people go in and out with food. Eventually I went in and my food had been ready, sitting under the counter. Three workers were in there with one person just standing around. The bowl was now warm fruit and the shake was melted. If you are too lazy to bring food out for curbside pickup, don't have it as an option. Waste of my money. I will never be back.
Samuel S — Google review
Very Delicious and an employee named Lucas was very polite and was cleaning and Right before we sat down wipe down our table he made my day.
Lil C — Google review
Most of staff was friendly and the smoothies took a little longer then the Gulf to bay location. Which is super quick and everyone in there is nice. At the West bay location, while waiting for our drinks, one of the employees coming in for her shift, has no manners at all. She opened the the door and pushed by me without saying excuse and when I said something to her about it she apologized so she was definitely being rude intentionally. It’s crazy how some people feel entitled to treat people anyway they want.

Sandwich shop
Largo Subs is a casual, traditional counter-serve establishment that has been serving the Largo community for over three decades. This family-owned business offers a variety of hot and cold subs, wings, and burgers. The restaurant has gained popularity for its delicious gyros, which are made with flaky yet soft grilled pita bread and homemade taziki sauce. Fresh veggies are also included, enhancing the overall taste of the sandwich.
Steak was very nice.French fries were nice in crispy. My only recommendation is fixed. The air conditioning a little warm but we set inside and ate.Anyway ,
JudyEddy E — Google review
Sadly I was disappointed I was charged $11 and change for what should have had been a $7 sub. I felt the sub was at least 1/3 smaller than it should have been. The chicken parm I received was a rubbery Frozen chicken patty, with half the sauce it should have had which made the sandwich small, rubbery and dry. I was hoping for a lot more from a local vendor. They had only one size sandwich and no options for bread style. Wheat, rye etc. ☹️
Norman C — Google review
Steak n Cheese isn't worth $11. I could tell as soon as the sub was handed to ke how light it was. It tastes ok but unfortunately nothing special. I like trying new places and I try yo go with family owned business. If it was $8 maybe I wouldn't feel so disappointed. Staff is very friendly and all with fast service buy quantity and price was my deciding factor.

I just ordered a Greek salad in store and told the employee making my salad that Indid not want peppers, pepperocinis, or tomatoes and to put my onions on the side. The employee making my salad at the front counter acknowledged my request. I got home to find that my salad had peppers like I ASKED THEM NOT TO put in my salad. This s my second time ordering from this establishment and both times (at least a year ago now) my order has been messed up. Management please make sure that you train your staff to listen to your customers.

I’ve been coming here since I attended the high school next door. The staff have always been very friendly and the food is amazing! I always order the Greek salad (minus a few things) with a side of jalapeño poppers. Everything is so filling. I can’t wait for them to open up on Monday!

I've been passing by here for years and finally pulled the trigger for lunch here last week. As always I want to order everything off the menu but alas I ordered two sandwiches and an appetizer. My favorite was THE WORKZ which is their steak sub with Bell Peppers, Mushrooms and Mildly Hot Banana peppers. It was tasty and the bread was soft and amazing. It was the right amount of steak and toppings. My second fav was their Eggplant Parm Sandwich. The only thing I wish this sandwich had was more sauce. Next time, I will get some on the side. Then I saw a previous review which called for the Breaded Mushrooms. I'm glad I did that as they were deep fried perfectly and the quantity was just right! If you plan on getting your order to go, I would call ahead of time perhaps 10 minutes ahead of time. That seems to be the right play to make for this place. We genuinely had the absolute best meal of our lives. The owners made us feel like family & we will be forever grateful for their hospitality. What an unforgettable experience. Best French food in America. We will return, and HIGHLY recommend.

The food is incredible!!! Best meal we’ve had in a long time. The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked, so tender, and melts in your mouth. The deserts were homemade and delicious. Not only was the food a treat, but the service was exceptional. Owned by a very sweet couple. This is definitely a little gem you will want to check out.

We really love this restaurant with excellent European food Michelin star quality and presentation. Romantic atmosphere, light music, and very nice owners. Today we tried a paella as a special, so delicious. And desserts are just awesome - chocolate mousse and Mille feuille are my favorite 😍

My wife and I have dined at Michelin star, James Beard restaurants, and I have to be honest this place was better than any of those by far. Amazing food and service in a very quiet comfortable atmosphere. You will not be disappointed to come here I cannot recommend it enough. The only problem I do have is I don't even know what to recommend you try as it was all amazing.

I would like to give a huge thanks to this beautiful café. The lady that helped showed great hospitality and was very happy to help. I would give this café a 10/10. It gives off a very elegant but inviting feel when you walk in. I got a small salad because I wasn’t to sure on what to eat. But that was the best salad I have had in a long time. I really enjoyed my time there. My friend was happily offered another option when she tried the onion soup but was looking for a different flavor, which was kind. I will definitely be back.

WOW! What a great date night! First time here, and everything was amazing! A husband and wife team and they will melt your heart! Food was amazing, had a great bottle of wine, and dessert was to die for. Everything is fresh and home made! So happy we found this place!

Gardens
Nestled in Largo, Florida, the Florida Botanical Gardens is a sprawling 182-acre urban sanctuary boasting meticulously maintained gardens, interpretive nature trails, and an array of natural habitats. With over 25 display gardens showcasing a diverse range of flora like bromeliads, roses, herbs, and hibiscus, this sun-drenched arboretum is also home to a rich tapestry of wildlife including over 150 species of birds and mammals.
This place is a hidden gem in Largo, FL. First time visiting here this past weekend and had only a short time to visit before they closed at 5pm on Saturday. The little that I got to see was impressive with the range of plants and fauna. There are a myriad of walk ways to go down and every one of them has gorgeous plants to view. There are several benches to sit and relax to take in all the nature and fountains. It’s so peaceful here along with the sounds of nature. You really feel like you have escaped the hustle bustle in these gardens! I can’t wait to go back and see more of it while having more time to wander the trails and paths. Also to add, it’s absolutely FREE! You can’t beat that for enjoying some nature and a nice stroll.
Yexenia M — Google review
It's amazing that this garden is free! There is so much to see here. Alot of work and planning had gone into the whole area. Lots of benches and chairs to enjoy the views. Kids play areas, a variety of teaching areas as well as a wedding venue. There's just too much to for in this review. Definitely worth a donation if you go.

We liked the water areas and the flowers were beautiful. We did not see butterflies in the butterfly garden probably because it was overcast when we went. I guess technically that is part of the Majeed Discovery Garden. The botanical garden is totally free to enjoy. My nephew enjoyed seeing all thd dogs that people were walking with (leashed of course). They have a cute gift shop and there was a QR code to scan to make a donation to the gardens but it didnt work when we tried it. We were still in the gift shop though so we were able to give a donation at the register. The grounds are well kept and not super crowded for a Saturday which surprised us.

Beautiful Garden and very well maintained! I Came here for a Biology xLab Scavenger Hunt and it was really engaging and fun. Be careful of the Bees in the Butterfly garden, because there's hundreds upon hundreds of them,, do not remove any plants or fruit under penalty of law, and when it gets dark you will need Bug spray!! Great place to visit! 10/10

Such a lovely free garden! Well designed landscaping and hardscaping. Plants were lovely and thriving! Nice trails through natural habitat and others through planted paths. Wildlife abundant: saw many different kinds of birds, turtles, butterflies, fish! We enjoyed sitting by the water watching the birds and listening to the fountain. Blooming plants and pleasing sculptures and art! They have a wonderful little gift shop with quality merchandise and snacks. You can spend hours here in this large beautiful garden with great discoveries to find and enjoy!

It was a beautiful day to stroll through nature at the Botanical Gardens. Also the wildlife was out and about, with birds, snakes, and even a baby alligator to name a few. The trees along the path provide much shade, here are just a few of the plants I came across. The banana trees were so beautiful as the bananas were growing nicely. Whether going with children, teens, or adults this is the place that interests all ages. Many fun activities for children with instruments and fun activities in nature.

Beautiful gardens, with so many different types. I parked and walked into the majeem garden, it was various musical instruments made out of natural things. So cool. I would love to hear, see a concert of people using all the instruments.

I registered for the Time to Paddy 5K at Walsingham Park. I've never been here before. It is beautiful, well kept, and has lots to do, and it has shelters equipped with BBQ grills and picnic benches. I enjoyed the race with family. It was fun, and the participants were very friendly. Loved it. Kudos to the organizers. Hoping to see you next year.

It's a really big thing park and it's easy to get lost. We learned that the first time we came here, the second time we came, we decided to track our parking. What lovely park and everyone is super friendly. We did about almost 3 miles. If it wasn't almost a hundred degrees out, we probably would have gone longer.

Highly recommend even just driving through the park and just being surrounded by the trees. If you’re going for the new playground it’s at Shelter 1 & 2.

We visited Heritage Village in Largo, FL and had such a great time! It’s really well maintained and completely free, which was a pleasant surprise. Still finishing up reviews from Florida. This place is a nice little hidden gem. Old school town with plenty of interactive tours. From an old school store to a school, this place is is interesting. The garage has classic cars and one building is an old doctors/dentist office. Very scary!! If you have time and fins yourself in Clearwater, take an hour and walk this place.

Nature & Parks
George C. McGough Nature Park, affectionately known as Turtle Park, is a serene urban retreat nestled in Largo. This park is renowned for its thriving turtle population and offers various nature programs and outdoor activities. Situated along the Intracoastal Waterway, the park features mangroves, oak hammocks, a butterfly garden, and picnic pavilions. Visitors can stroll along the boardwalk with a designated turtle deck to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat.
A lovely small rescue park for birds and reptiles. We watched a helper feed one of the eagles. The birds were accessible to watch quite closely. Turtles, frogs and some snakes. There is a nice walking trail which we took for a bit but it got too warm for us. Everyone was kind and it was free admission, perfect for a place to spend a few hours.

A true hidden treasure, George C. McGough Nature Park – locally known as “Turtle Park” – is a must-visit for nature lovers near Tampa Bay! 🌿 🦆 Turtle Feeding Fun: The pond is magical, filled with dozens (if not hundreds) of turtles sunning themselves on floating platforms. You can buy tiny cups of turtle food (about $0.50–$1) from the Nature Center and watch them eagerly swim over—it’s so entertaining seeing them bobbing for treats . 🦅 Birds of Prey Showcase: Inside the Narrows Nature Center, rescued owls, hawks, and even a bald eagle serve as educational ambassadors. Around 10 AM–12 PM, volunteers take them out of their enclosures so you can get up close without a cage—a rare and amazing experience . 🌿 Scenic Walking Trails & Boardwalk: The nearly 0.8‑mile rubberized loop trail (made from recycled tires) is gentle on joints and winds through shady oak hammocks, a pollinator garden, and ends at a mangrove-lined boardwalk—perfect for wildlife viewing and perhaps spotting dolphins or manatees . 👨‍👩‍👧 Kid-Friendly Vibe: Families love the playground (complete with zip-line!), picnic shelters, and interactive exhibits—a safe and clean environment with restrooms and free parking . 💡 Pro Tip: Buy turtle food at the Nature Center (better value than machines!) and aim for a morning visit to catch feeding time and bird interactions . Overall: George C. McGough Nature Park offers a perfect blend: charming turtle encounters, inspiring birds of prey presentations, relaxing trails, and stunning coastal views—all for free thanks to Largo Parks . Ideal for a peaceful solo stroll, a hands‑on educational trip with kids, or just to reconnect with nature. Whether you’re a local or visiting the area, this park is well worth your time. I’ll definitely be back with friends and family!

A beautiful place, we met some amazing volunteers who are definitely the soul of this place. Their love and care for feathered and non-feathered occupants is beyond admirable. There is also a very nice playground for children and a few spots to sit down and enjoy your morning coffee. Please, consider donating when visiting, the work they do is amazing!

A.M.D. Produce is a charming farmers market that offers a diverse selection of produce sourced from local farmers and around the world. The store provides a quaint atmosphere reminiscent of traditional farmer markets, but with modern conveniences such as a website for weekly product updates and the option for curbside pick-up. Customers can expect to find an array of fruits and vegetables, including seasonal offerings.
Love this place very fresh fruit , vegetables and others , excellent prices also you would find exotic fruits and vegetables

I read the reviews on Google and wanted to checkout this produce spot. I don't know if it was just the day I was there because my experience today doesn't seem to be the same as others. They were out of a lot of items I needed like red potatoes, honeydew, romaine lettuce. The green beans and several other items were moldy and needed to be culled. The overall cleanliness of store is ok however the doors and windows are really dirty. The only employee was very interested in watching videos on his phone rather than cleaning or helping customers. I will probably visit here one more time to see if it was just an off day.

Delivery: I admit that I was concerned about having someone else pick my produce. I placed my order and answered a couple questions about my wants. Next thing you know I received a message that my order was delivered to the place I specified and receipt was in the bag. I was very happy with my first delivery and will not hesitate to place orders again and again! Thank you A.M.D. for the wonderful fruits, veggies, and delivery service!!

Always has fresh fruit and vegetables. Great place to get corn, watermelon and mangoes. I would suggest that you take a reusable bag as the items can get quiet heavy at times.

Update: I love this place. Great updates friendly workers . new different exotic fruits it's my go to for fresh greens and stuff🙂 I come here often. Place has had some good upgrades... Nice friendly employees holding the doors for me ( a big plus when u have a baby) they have had more produce options then before. I always find the fruits and veggies that I need but the bananas aren't always good.... I like to buy them almost green...

This place is right down the road from my office so I stop by frequently. They didn't have what I needed this time, but no one seems to have bean sprouts these days, so no biggy. But the items I did purchase were wonderful! The garlic bulbs are huge, zucchini as well and the green onions were fresh and yummy. The people are helpful and very nice, the store is clean and everything is always well stocked and looking neat. Everything they offer is priced right and it's one place I will be frequenting as long as they are open. You won't be disappointed because the selection it awesome and yummy as well!
Marsha Z — Google review
What a wonderful produce store! It has a quaint atmosphere like most rundown farmer markets. Yet, they have a website to get weekly emails about their products and even do curbside pick-up if needed! Heck, the store signs even tell you the produce sale of the week every time you drive up. They seems to have all kinds of fruits a veggies available and even new ones I see during certain seasons! I'm mostly grabbing plenty of leafy greens and peppers I constantly have to restock at this place. I could compare their produce prices closer to Aldi's produce market, but with a lot more variety. Great prices and would not be disappointed.

Mexican restaurant
Latin American restaurant
Los Mariachis is a traditional Mexican restaurant that offers popular dishes such as burritos, fajitas, and chimichangas in a simple setting. It stands out among other Mexican food establishments in St Pete by providing complimentary chips and flavorful salsa, excellent margaritas, and delicious cuisine. Despite being located 25 minutes away from the city, this hidden gem is worth the drive.
Mexican food is one of my favorite foods. I’ve been extremely disappointed with Saint Pete’s offerings. Everybody is trying to do a modern spin on Mexican food. I’ve been searching for a traditional Mexican Restaurant that greets you with complementary chips and tasty salsa, great margaritas and delicious food. This place is finally that place. It’s a 25 min trek from St Pete so that’s a bit sad. Just super happy to have found this place on a hungry drive by fluke. Not sure why it gets bad reviews but hoping to push that percentage higher. Looks pretty gnarly from outside. Almost left after pulling into the parking lot. Was here for lunch so didn’t have any issues with service.
Tim I — Google review
I love this place!! Many of my friends don't get it and think there are better places out there -- but this is one of my favorites. Servers are friendly, service is fast and food is good. Chips and salsa are delivered to the table within minutes (seconds) of sitting down. The fajita taco salad is my go-to thing!
Billie G — Google review
Originally thought it's ok. Not bad but didn't knock my socks off either. But after eating the meal . Ehhhh. We arrived a few minutes after 2:30pm on Saturday January 19, 2019. Lunch ends at 2:30 so to order the same thing between 2:30 and 3:00 the price if our lunch climbed $3.00. Two of us ordered taco, rice and beans meal. My son found a piece of plastic in his taco. That ruined the experience...they took 25 percent off the one meal as a consolidation. The chips were bland and needed salt. But even then they were bland

I've got to say that I should have really respected the past reviews. I gave it a chance and it was awful. Warm beer, unrecognizable food and pricy. They say that it's been remodeled but it's dirty and HOT in there. Not a pleasant dining experience. We left after our food smelled like fish and we didn't order any fish. Yikes!! Nice staff though. They didn't have a problem understanding our issues. It seemed like just another day there for them. I feel sorry for them. We still tipped our waiter 30 % on our bill of warm beer and 1 margarita. Good luck Los Mariachis. Your gonna need it!!!
Lori H — Google review
I didn't like the food. it was pretty salty yet bland. we had to track down the waitress to ask for appetizers, when the food for my table was brought out, mine was forgotten. I waited about 5 minutes and finally we went and found her to see where my food was. she didn't even know I didn't have food let alone if mine was ready. Another person at our table, their food was salty and her shrimp were charred and rubbery. she couldn't eat more than half at best. they deducted 50% off her meal. I got one refill of water, she took my glass and honestly she delivered people's food before we got our water back. Once we got our check, we never saw her again to check on us. I didn't enjoy the meal nor the service, it was my first trip and my last.
Savannah R — Google review
I ordered the super combination platter. And the ground beef in all of the items tasted bad. They offered me a new platter. But they would probably use the same meat. So I said no. I didn't want a repeat of that meal. They were nice and took it off of my bill. Management and service was excellent. I usually love that place. Bummer.
Joy G — Google review
We have tried this restaurant twice and had the same experience each time. As you walk in, it has a definite "worn" feeling to it which actually isn't a negative. In my experience, if it looks like that, it means that it has been able to stay in business for a long time. Good, right? The chips that were brought to our table each time were overdone. The salsa served with the chips had a very strong vinegar taste. The cheese dip appetizer was decent. The meals that we ordered were not very tasty. Staff was nice enough. First time is a fluke. Second time is a trend...

Located just a few minutes from Indian Rocks Beach, Mike's Pizza and Pub offers a relaxed atmosphere with TVs throughout the space for sports enthusiasts. OK, we made the 30-plus mile drive to try Mike's Pizza. Was it worth it?? Absolutely, the pizza was perfect as you will see in the photos, cooked to perfection, and the waffle fries with mozzarella cheese delicious. Located in Walsingham Commons, this casual spot offers a wide menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Lagoudakis family brings over 40 years of experience to the table and ensures exceptional service in a relaxed atmosphere. Diners can enjoy freshly prepared dishes from scratch with generous portions.
This is an outstanding restaurant that makes me think of the old fashioned mom and pop places in the 90’s. Service was great and the food was really good. The portions were very generous. I got the Turkey Club sandwich and it was so good. They serve breakfast too so my family also got pancakes and an omelette. The Smokehouse Hamburger was rated highly by my teenage son. Atmosphere was very small town feel and felt down home. Highly recommend!

Went for breakfast and got the Veggie Omelette with hash browns and a side of Blueberry Pancakes. I tried alot of restaurants in the surrounding area. This was the best Omelet I have had in a long time. The eggs were fluffy and perfect all the way through. Flavor was just on another level judging Omelettes. The Blueberry Pancakes were up there with my favorite pancakes at Cracker Barrel. This is my new place to go for breakfast. Was bummed out when we pulled in to eat today They are closed on Mondays but will be back again for sure and try there lunch. +AAA

Great place for dinner or lunch. They have a wide variety of food options. Want Italian- they have it. Want Greek - Check. Burgers or a different sandwiches- they got it. They offer so much! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. I enjoy eating at an establishment that can fulfill anyone's cravings. Don't forget to check out their desserts as well! So good.

Very busy place so the service is a little slow, but the waitresses were working very hard and the food was good. The children’s meals are large. The omelettes are very large.

The best family owned restaurant in the area! Savory is always consistent and the quality is exceptional. You can tell how much they put into the freshness of their food and I’ve never had a negative experience. The omelets are some of the fluffiest I’ve had, you can’t go wrong with any of their specials and love the creative menu! You’ll never leave hungry and some of the best prices around. The owners truly want their customers to have the best dining experience. Clean, fresh and always crave the food at Savory.

“Friendly Service and Family Vibes” This spot is perfect for a quick, no-frills meal. The food is simple and predictable, but the warm, attentive service really shines. It’s a clean, family-friendly space where the staff makes you feel welcome. Not gourmet, but great for a casual, fuss-free outing. Owners/Mgt : Your main entrance door handle wrapped in dirty cloth tape, is not hygienic to your customers. Washrooms could use professional cleaning on a regular daily basis.

Rating: Killah! Wonderful staff. Our waitress was so nice. She greeted us, made us feel welcome, and kept up great service the entire visit. Food was amazing, hot, fresh, and tasty. Restaurant was clean and comfortable. We went for breakfast and we both got the French Toast Combo. Superb!

Coffee shop
Dunkin' is a well-established franchise that offers an extensive range of distinctive morning eats and diverse caffeinated beverages. This enduring establishment has successfully built a reputation for serving delectable breakfast specialties and an assortment of refreshing java concoctions. Their menu boasts a wide selection of unique breakfast options and an array of delightful coffee creations, making it a go-to destination for those seeking a satisfying start to their day.
One of my favorite Dunkin Donuts. For the most part staff has a good attitude and friendly. Rarely ever long wait times even with lines out to the road. My only complaint is the parking lot. Very small if the line is backed up hard to park and walk in. Also if they are getting a delivery semi truck taked up most of the parking lot.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel compelled to today due to the extremely unprofessional behavior I experienced. To the owner: the young woman with pink hair and either black or green lipstick should not be working in customer service. Based on her attitude, it’s clear she either hates her job or has no regard for customers. I feel genuinely bad for anyone who has to interact with her first thing in the morning when all they want is a simple coffee or meal. While the man who took my order was polite, he got the order wrong. When I clarify that with her at the window where I pay there, the woman didn’t acknowledge me once—not a word—not even an apology. Instead, she spent the entire time cursing and complaining to a coworker in the back. Not to mention when she gave my card back her hand wasn’t even all the way out so I have to unbuckle my seatbelt to reach my card and the receipt back. I understand everyone can have a bad day. I run few businesses myself and know what it’s like to work in customer service. But I would never allow a member of my team to behave this way toward paying customers. If management cares at all about the customer experience or the reputation of their business, I hope they take this seriously and provide proper training—or reconsider who they put on the front line representing their brand.

I went thru the drive thru around 330 today and the cashier was extremely professional, very helpful. I noticed the other staff were also friendly and working hard. I didn’t catch her name but she had red color hair. Our food was delicious. I highly recommend this location and I will definitely be returning again soon.

I just wanted to let the women at this location absolutely kick ass. Always a smile always positive and the orders are spot and and delicious. My kids and dog are there almost every weekend morning and we look forward to it. Thank you ladies.

Been going to Dunkin for over 20 years... but this location as well as a few others in the area have been awful. Like you get your drink and cant even finish it awful. 20% success rate when it comes to getting things right. Not sure if its a supply issue, or if its a staff/management/training issue... its not that hard to make a coffee and I'm not asking for some special coffee either.

So I placed an order on the mobile app and when I arrived I stood by the mobile pickup for half an hour waiting, there were 6 other orders ahead of mine that were not even touched and instead of taking care of customers that were waiting for service the girl on the drive thru was barking orders focusing on making sure the workers filled her orders first instead on orders customers made or were waiting in line

The 3 employees we saw and helped us, were very friendly especially it being 5:30 in the morning. We even ordered the incorrect donuts and they fixed our mistake, with no problems.
