Beaches
Honeymoon Island State Park, located in Dunedin, is a barrier island known for its pristine four-mile white-sand beach and clear, calm waters. Visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, and hiking while taking in the natural beauty of the virgin slash pine forest. The park offers amenities such as showers, restrooms, a cafe serving food and drinks, and rentals for bicycles, kayaks, beach chairs, and umbrellas.
Awesome place to go for a little day adventure. If you want to get all the way to the end of the island it will be a little bit of a hike. Pretty secluded the further you go though. Very nice powdery white sand beaches. Not too crowded on a weekend. The entry fee does cost but it’s not much, I think $4 per car or something. Cool wildlife to see as well. Several beach access points.

So tbh I didn’t feel this place lived up to expectations we drove out there the day of our flight heading home. This was the last beach we were going to it was a bit of a let down. To be fair it was very nice there but compared to other beaches we went to for free this beach was 8 bucks to get into the state park. Not trying to bash the place the rangers were all very nice the visitors center was also very nice just so many other beaches we went to were free and in my opinion nicer. I thought the shell tree was really cool too
P P — Google review
Love this beach!! Def my new go to. Perfect for paddleboarding or just hanging out. U can rent or bring your own. It get a busy towards the afternoons but there is tons of parking.
Angie G — Google review
This is one of my favorite spots to go to the beach. Entrance is $8 pretty car up to six people, but it is so worth it! The sand is nice and fluffy with lots of seashells. The water is warm and not too many waves, the sunset is magical and so so sooooooo pretty. There are showers and bathrooms with changing stalls here. Definitely give this place a visit, your will enjoy every minute of it.

We decided to explore a new spot while in Florida and headed to Honeymoon Island Beach just outside of Dunedin. The island is surrounded by lush greenery and nature, yet also offers a gorgeous stretch of beach. On the way in, we saw several turtles crossing the road—there are even special crossings for them, so be sure to slow down and watch out. It’s a perfect blend of natural beauty and seaside relaxation.
Stephanie C — Google review
It costs $8 a car load up to six people but well worth the cost. This is a beautiful State Park and is well kept up minus some of the buildings still being closed from last year's hurricanes. We went for a drive but ended up spending hours here walking the beach ⛱️ and viewing the different hiking paths and dog beach here. Definitely would come back and make a day out of it. There was one food truck and all bathrooms are replaced by port of johns. Hopefully they will be able to get the buildings back up and going soon.
Mark M — Google review
Absolutely perfect! If you're looking for a less crowded and more local beach this is definitely it! White sand beaches and endless seashells for the kiddos to hunt. We had an awesome time here!
Jason D — Google review
Best state park and beach in the area! It did get pretty beat up from the 2024 hurricane season, but still one of the most natural, filled with soft white sands and plenty of parking. The entrance fee is $8 per car up to 4 people, and they take credit cards. The pavilions are still closed, but there are rows of porta pottys. Perfect for families, as it's easy to get to the beach areas with multiple entrances that have walkways. The water is calm and has shallow areas at low tide to just sit in your chair as the water bushes up against you. So relaxing! Fantastic for sunsets! The dog beach area is a little bit of a walk to get to, but one of the nicest around.

Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill & Bar is a laid-back beachfront hangout known for its seafood and drinks with a Tommy Bahama feel. The menu offers a variety of appetizers, bowls, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and entrees like coconut shrimp and St. Louis-style barbecue ribs. It's also famous for being one of the best spots to watch sunsets while enjoying tropical beverages and live music.
Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill is absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, and the service was amazing—shoutout to Bella for being such a wonderful host! The location is perfect, right by the beach, with breathtaking views that make the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're looking to relax with a meal or soak in the beautiful surroundings, this place has it all. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The beachfront bar had an amazing sunset view that made the whole evening feel special. The music was lively, the atmosphere was fun, and the food and drinks were better than I expected. It’s the kind of place you could easily spend a few hours just enjoying the vibe.

PERFECT In every way! Right on the gulf beach, white sand, beautiful sunshine, wonderful sunsets, good food, cold drinks, excellent service! This place is fun with live music, good vibes, and friendly service. Everyone was having a great time, watching sports on TVs, and listening to good live music. Chips, salsa, and freshly-made guac was perfect! Beers are cold! Love it!

🌴 Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill & Bar – Clearwater Beach 🌅 We had an amazing dinner at Palm Pavilion last night, one of Clearwater Beach’s true gems! The atmosphere couldn’t have been better, beachfront dining, live music drifting through the air, and the perfect view of the sunset over the Gulf. The staff was friendly and the service was great. We ordered the coconut shrimp (crispy and golden perfection!) and a grilled shrimp bowl that was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Washed it all down with a crisp Angry Orchard Hard Cider while the sky turned pink and gold. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good food, beach vibes, and live music just steps from the sand, Palm Pavilion is the place to be. Highly recommend catching sunset here it’s pure Florida magic. 🌞🌴🍤🎶 Parking is close, but can be hard to find during peak hours.

Flew into TPA and headed straight to Clearwater for lunch. After I parked in the paid lot next door, I followed the live music to Palm Pavilion. Got a seat at the bar with a view of the beach. Plenty of seating for groups of all sizes. The Palm Rum Runner was the perfect blend of liquor on a sunny Florida afternoon. My entree El Cubano “Tampa Style” was savory and tbh one of the better Cubans I've had. Attentive service by the bartender. Convenient location off the main drag. Walking distance to shops, boutiques, and other spots. 9.7/10.
Jes J — Google review
Well, not only was the food amazing and the service, the parking attendant was so nice, and super friendly and helpful. It was a great experience, the best Mahi Mahi I have ever had. Highly recommend the place, and anytime I am in the area I will be coming here
Ray M — Google review
If you want a beach joint with drinks, food, and a view, this is your place. It is very casual from the walk off the beach. Some days have acoustic while dining. There is an air conditioned room, but the other areas are open to the outdoors. Must have a shirt and shoes to enter. The staff is fun and pleasant. The fun cocktails and frozen drinks are fun and beachy. They offer skinny varieties too. The fish tacos were good portioned and tasty with fresh ingredients. The Grouper sandwich was very fresh and the fries were crispy! If you want the view and atmosphere, with good food, you will be happy!

An excellent local restaurant on the beach! We went to watch the sunset and it was perfect from their outdoor seating area. Not only was the view great but the food was really good and the service was friendly. I look forward to returning to this place in the future.

Restaurant
Frenchy's Rockaway Grill is a renowned seafood shack located in Clearwater Beach, known for its vibrant and festive atmosphere. This beachfront bar offers a unique experience with live rock and roll bands playing hits from the 70s and 80s. The menu features Floribbean-style dishes, including the famous grouper sandwich available in various styles such as Cajun, Caribbean, and Reuben.
this was the only restaurant we were heavoly recommended in Clearwater that we went to and absolutely no regrets. The Tampa area is famous for fishing grouper, so we had to give it the good old try. We asked how it tasted, our waitress identified it as a white fish that is more savory than mahi mahi, she was totally right. husband tried it fried, I tried it blackened. I loved the seasoning, it was light and paired very well with the pickle and mustard/sauces. Newbs typically try it fried, husband wasn't disappointed. the homemade key lime pie was pretty good, with pronounced lime and Graham cracker flavors. Give in to the hype, it's worth every penny.

5-Star Sunset Bliss at Frenchy's Rockaway Grill What an absolute gem Frenchy's Rockaway Grill is! Tucked right on the sands of Clearwater Beach, this spot nails that effortless Florida vibe with its open-air setup, live music humming in the background, and those jaw-dropping Gulf sunsets painting the sky in oranges and pinks. We snagged a table on the deck just in time for golden hour, and it felt like we were dining in a postcard. The menu is a love letter to fresh, local seafood—our group's picks were spot-on. The famous Super Grouper Sandwich lived up to the hype: flaky, perfectly seasoned grouper piled high on a toasted bun with all the fixings, no sogginess in sight. We also devoured the She Crab Soup (creamy, rich, and just the right kick of spice) and some crispy coconut shrimp that paired beautifully with a chilled local craft beer. Everything arrived hot and vibrant, with portions that left us satisfied but not stuffed. But let's talk about the real star of our evening: our server, Greer. From the moment she greeted us with her warm smile and beachy energy, it was clear she loves what she does. Attentive without hovering, she nailed our drink refills, suggested the perfect pairing for the seafood and even shared insider tips on the best spots for a post-dinner stroll along the beach. Greer's enthusiasm made the whole experience feel personal and fun. If you're in Clearwater, skip the chains and head straight to Frenchy's Rockaway Grill. It's casual, delicious, and unforgettable. We'll be back soon—sunset views and Greer-level service? Yes, please! 🌅🦐

The place is great! It has that perfect beach vibe mixed with excellent service and atmosphere! Definitely a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy their famous grouper sandwiches. I tried the traditional fried grouper sandwich — it was good and well-prepared, but I’ll try other options next time to give a more accurate verdict. While it didn’t completely blow me away, it was still tasty and satisfying. What really makes the place stand out is the friendly service, quick attention, and positive energy! I totally recommend visiting this awesome spot and enjoying a nice margarita while watching the sunset. We’ll be back! 🌅🍹

WOW! We were expecting this to be a basic beach restaurant with pretty mid food and drinks like we’re used to. But holy crap, this place was amazing. The drink options are insane and you can get a 20oz cocktail rocks/frozen in a souvenir cup for $13. We got the crab fries, rock poppers, and steak dippers. The crab fries were life changing, the poppers were mid, and the steak dippers were very good. For drinks we got a strawberry mojito and rum runner. The atmosphere was great, menu had great options, and our server Britt was so sweet. We plan on going back for dinner and getting crab legs, highly recommend!

I went to Frenchys for lunch today and it was so Freaking Good!! That is one of the best tasting filling meals I've this year.. I ordered a 6 oz grouper sandwich , it was grilled with the spices, and it had onion, tomato, tartar sauce, a delicious roll ! There was a big pickle on the side and it came with french fries 😋 I had Pepsi to drink.. We got to sit right there on the beach!! My feet was in the sand the whole time . The view is Amazing 😍 one of the best all around experiences, I would highly recommend this restaurant.. our server was Jeff and he did a great 👍 job... One of the best grouper sandwiches I've eaten
Jay H — Google review
Many Frenchys around but this one is beachfront and has tables facing the water! Perfect for dinner watching the sunset. I ordered the classic fried grouper sandwich which was perfect while my husband ordered a basket of shrimp. I honestly thought his plate looked like more fries than shrimp but everything was wonderful. Our water was super amazing despite how packed the place was getting. It also looked like someone was doing some professional filming while we ate I was wondering what it was for!

We visited on a clear day, and the clear beach in Tempa nearby was absolutely beautiful. This restaurant is just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Although we were told there would be a 30-minute wait, we were seated in just 10 minutes. The live music created a great vibe, making the atmosphere even better. The food was excellent—made with fresh fish and natural ingredients. The flavors were clean, not too salty or greasy, just perfectly balanced. Prices were also very reasonable. The outdoor terrace looked inviting, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot if you’re near the beach!

First time in Clearwater Beach, so I decided to try this place at my boss's recommendation. This restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and has outdoor seating. We ended up sitting in the sand near the beach which I had never done at a restaurant before. We ended up getting the crab fries and the shrimp pasta. It was absolutely delicious! We will definitely come back the next time I come to Clearwater Beach! Thank you Frenchy's!

Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa

3.9
(5993)
Hotel
Nestled on a 10-acre private beach, Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa offers a luxurious experience with elegant rooms, top-notch amenities, and exquisite dining options. The hotel features two outdoor pools, a modern gym, diverse restaurants serving global cuisine, a Starbucks outlet, and a beach tiki bar for enjoying tropical cocktails at sunset.
Perfect location for families! This resort is right on the ocean, and I believe every room offers an ocean view with balcony. There are plenty of fun activities for children, and the staff is wonderful and very friendly. The property also features two pools, making it an ideal getaway for all ages. At night, they even played The Lion King for all the kids to watch on a big screen outside. It was truly wonderful. Right on the beach there are a lot of fun activities for kids- a huge water- blowup slide and trampolines and more. The rooms are small but cozy and the family vibe makes up for it.

Unfortunately not a good stay.. To be fair, I will start with the positive. The location is great for walking the shops and restaurants. The hotel also has great access to the beach and the pier is close by. That's where it stops. They only allow vallet parking for $30 per day. They have a "resort fee" of $30 per day that doesn't offer anything, not even a bottle of water. The rooms are extremely worn and not very clean. We had someone's hair all over our "clean towels". Everything is very overpriced but what isn't now a days. Just be prepared to spend at least $30 for 2 drinks. The staff seem kind enough but honestly they were all disengaged and didn't seem to care about much. I have a background in hotel management so I can give some grace but they could do alot better. Management needs to stop being greedy and turn their focus back to the guest experience. Take care of their staff. Do that, and the money will follow naturally.

This is a 3 star hotel located in a 5 star location. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets are breathtaking. So, if you are looking for a 5 star SPA experience, this is not the hotel for you. If you are looking for 3 star hotel prices, this is not the hotel for you, you will be charged like a resort. But if you can enjoy a 5 star beach location and don’t mind a 3 star room, you will have a great time. Beach rentals are for the full day from 7am to 7pm. You can go in the morning, leave to have lunch and come back for the sunset. We think it was worth it $110 for a cabana and 2 chairs. Beach rental prices: -Full Beach Package is $251 -Beach Cabana $50 -Beach Umbrella $33 -Reclining Lounge Chair $29

This was one of my least favorite Hilton. The location is great. The front desk people were awesome. Valet were super nice. What I didn't like was the beds are so small that 2 people can't fit into one bed. We had four people to a room and we were only given three towels. Housekeeping never came back on our second day so we never had enough towels. The garbage was overflowing because nobody ever came to the room to clean it. I don't think the hotel should charge its guests who are already paying a lot of money to use the chairs on the beach. We had two separate reservations. We've done that before where we added a second day and the hotel, always combines the stay.. This hotel made me check out in the morning just to check back in. It was very inconvenient, especially since we had rented jet skis and needed to be on a tour. Also in the lobby, there are three elevators, but only one of them works. The other two were not in working order. After 30 minutes of waiting for an elevator, we lugged our luggage up the 8 flight of stairs. Needless to say, the location is great, but next time I will be staying at a different hotel.

The entire stay was wonderful from check in to check out! Staff was warm and inviting, accomodations were fantastic....the resort even decorated our room with complimentary champagne, rose petals and anniversary banner for our 20th wedding anniversary! Beautiful views and convenience of everything walkable distance. One night was just not long enough! Glad to be a Hilton member, thank you for an incredible stay!

This is awful place to stay! Ask for a room with a view well if you don't ask for a jr suite forget it because you get a partial view! Looking over a parking lot or the entire AC units which is so loud you can't even hear yourself talk or hear the ocean when your on the balcony. So, they changed our room to the 4th floor that was even worse could hardly see the ocean. They they switched us the next day to the 9th floor great view if you want to stand on your balcony and look out, if you sat down couldn't see over the

Exceptional stay! Yader took care of us during our 5 day stay and he was simply amazing! I can’t say enough about him! I usually don’t leave reviews but the Hilton in Clearwater beach is worthy of one! So sad to leave! Staff is fantastic and they will take care of Every detail! Can’t wait to come again!

We stay with Hilton any chance we can. We were excited to stay here because of the location, but weary because of the reviews. A couple takeaways from our stay: Pros: 1. Location - The location of this hotel is truly perfect. There’s a long line of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, dessert places, etc all within walking distance of the hotel. We stayed for four nights and the only time we used our rental was to get from the airport to the hotel, then from the hotel back to the airport. 2. Staff - Every single staff member we came into contact with were so kind, polite, and helpful when needed. We didn’t encounter a single staff member who wasn’t pleasant. Valet, lobby staff, restaurant staff at breakfast, housekeeping, etc. They were all phenomenal. Cons: 1. The rooms - The rooms are small and outdated as mentioned in most of the other reviews. The beds - Tiny, springy. The TV’s - Only have local channels, half of ours didn’t work, no option for anything smart ( I know, we are at the beach. But we are in 2025 and our kiddos love movies at bedtime ). We booked a street view but we are diamond members and we got upgraded to room 755. It was very nice having an ocean view, but it was SO loud outside of the room. All of the AC fans are right below you and you can hardly hear the person next to you speaking outside. The balcony door was near impossible to open, even for us adults. The top part of the outside handle was broken off, probably due to people trying to open and close the door. The door to our room was also hard to open, I had to shoulder it myself a few times, and it had to be pushed on to close completely. There are no microwaves in the rooms. 2. The Towels - The bath towels in the rooms honestly feel like sand paper. They are rough and not soft like you expect from a hotel bath towel. 3. Valet Parking Only - We arrived fairly late and never received any information about parking on the Hilton app. It was very difficult to find parking - come to find out because it is Valet parking ONLY. Supposed to be 24/7. However no one was present when we arrived. The situation was rectified but I do think more information should be provided up front at time of booking so people know what to expect no matter what time they arrive. 4. The Elevators - We spent a lot of time waiting for elevators, not even just due to foot traffic, but due to buttons not working, cards not unlocking the outside elevators, etc.

Sand Key Park is a stunning waterfront destination in Clearwater, offering a long stretch of pristine white sand and clear water. It combines the beauty of the beach with park amenities such as a dog park, cabanas, and a playground. Despite its scenic beauty, it's less crowded than Clearwater Beach. Visitors can enjoy picnics, surfing, and other outdoor activities while taking in the local marine wildlife. The park also features a salt marsh area with benches for bird-watching and relaxation.
Sand Key Park is a great beach spot—clean, peaceful, and super convenient. It’s just a short walk from the parking lot and restrooms, which is a big plus. The beach itself is beautiful, with plenty of seashells to collect and even the chance to spot dolphins, which made the visit extra special. They offer jet ski rentals, chair and umbrella rentals, and even have a few food trucks around for snacks or drinks. The views are absolutely stunning and it’s a perfect place to relax and unwind. Parking is available for a fee, but it’s worth it for such an enjoyable beach day. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

Wonderful park with ample parking and less crowded than neighboring Clearwater beach. Great place to take photos by the beach or rocks. Lots of white sand and beach area. Wonderful for sunset.

As a photographer/videographer, I absolutely adore this beach for the variety it gives. From the rocks to sea oats and then ending with a perfect sunset, it’s definitely top on my recommendations to clients!

Great place that’s usually not too crowded. Parking is around $8, and the spots are big enough for trucks and SUVs. Plenty of trash cans are nearby, and the bathrooms are clean and well kept. The sand between parking lot and the beach have more shells than most the surrounding beaches so wear sandals.
Robert R — Google review
We went here for the park itself not the beach and we still had to pay $6 bucks for it even tho they were going to close in 2 hours. We didn’t want to risk getting towed. My chihuahua enjoyed the cut grass and ran around a couple times. We decided to do the loop which wasn’t long maybe a mile. I suggest wearing shoes rather than sandals. I got poked by some sharp grass or something. Overall it’s okay. There’s def other dog parks that’s better and free.

“Carnitas? More like Car-NOT-as” If you’re looking for nachos topped with delicious, tender carnitas—keep driving. What I got was pork chunks braised in verde sauce. That’s not carnitas, folks. That’s chile verde playing dress-up and hoping no one notices. Spoiler: I noticed. And I wept. The “house-made” chips from flour tortillas might have had potential, had they not been drowned in the verde lagoon. What should’ve been crispy and golden turned into a soggy, limp mess that resembled something between a tortilla and regret. Feeling brave (and still clinging to hope), I tried the Cantina Burrito with barbacoa. It was… a pot roast burrito. No, seriously. A huge amount of unseasoned, sad meat shoved in a tortilla. I think I tasted cumin once, maybe in a dream. The carnitas-that-weren’t were at least tender, but the barbacoa was dry, flavorless, and clearly cooked by someone who once read about seasoning in a book they never finished. And just to put a cherry on this culinary disappointment sundae, the manager was too busy schmoozing with his buddy at the outdoor podium to even pretend to care. Customer interaction? Never heard of her. Final verdict: If you’re craving a Mexican meal, try literally anywhere else—or just stay home and microwave something. You’ll be better off.

Definitely recommend this place! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the fajitas with extra meat and shared them, the portion was more than enough. The drinks were top notch as well; the skinny coconut margarita was so good! Service was excellent (Renee was our waitress), and the atmosphere was just as great. Highly recommend!

Absolutely worth every penny!! Loved our server miah/Mia. Absolute beautiful soul and person all around. Made me and my fiance feel very welcomed. Food was outstanding, wasn't long of a wait either. We sat outside because it was a nice beautiful shaded day.❤️

This cantina is a great option for a classy atmosphere with Mexican cuisine. I got the birria tacos and a Pamelo. Both were fantastic and filling. I also got the guac and chips, very fresh. My server, Nelson, was so personable and kind. We were sat immediately on a Friday night.

We were in the area to celebrate my birthday and one must was to find a good spicy margarita. Stumbled upon this place via google and we stopped on our way in. Exceeded our expectations by far as the spicy margaritas were phenomenal. We had the spicy skinny watermelon margaritas and dulce calor. I was a little worried the watermelon was too sweet with no heat, and was surprised. The server/bartender also there’s no store bought sweet and sour mix which I love. We also got the chicken fajitas, guacamole, and churros. The chicken was marinaded and cooked perfectly, and my husband states these are the best churros he’s ever had. A perfect balance of being fried. This place is easy to miss (bottom of the Hilton hotel) or drive by, but it’s a must if you like margs, fajitas, or churros.

Fantastic food and drinks. Menu can be hard to understand since it's a mixture of Spanish and English. Service was a little slow. But best Mexican we have ever had. Had lots of flavor which can be hard to find. Great burrito and fajitas. We went back here a couple times. If you sit on the patio, don't sit on the very outside in the evening. Some unruly guest to the hotel might throw ice down at you.

Fajitas come out sizzling! That was cool. Shrimp fajitas were tasty. We had Guacamole for appetizer it was tasty. Wifeys chicken burrito was good.

Named after the loggerhead turtles that frequent the area, this upscale eatery offers a cozy yet classy atmosphere with romantic ocean views. As Clearwater Beach's only AAA Four-Diamond restaurant, it provides seasonally-inspired dishes such as duck confit and black grouper, along with an extensive wine selection.
We came here for lunch and had a lovely experience. The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic — refined and with a touch of high-end cuisine. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful ocean view, which made the meal even more special. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place for a fantastic dinner. Our server Amanda was exceptional! We sat outside for sunset dinner. The bread is amazing! We had sushi, Ceasar salad and grouper dinners. It was all delicious. This is an upscale restaurant, although we thought the prices were reasonable for portion you received.

Went here for our anniversary dinner and it was a fantastic! Every drink and course was so pretty and perfectly cooked. We sat outside on the deck with a perfect view of the sunset. If that was enough by itself, our server, Amanda, was exceptional- so kind and helpful as well as knowledgeable and attentive. Wouldn't hesitate to go back!

My birthday dinner could not have been more perfect . Our waiter Juan repeatedly said he would take care of me for a memorable evening , etc . He was friendly , informative, super great with the pacing of each course , and just a delight . The food was simply outstanding. We each had an order of Diver scallops , shared the caprese salad , and he had grouper and I had Chilean sea bass. Perfectly cooked , tender , delightful light crisp on top. Also Juan provided an amuse bouche of delicious spanikopata . The scallops are to die for , just perfection . Incredibly smooth burrata on the caprese salad . The light delicious sauce on the fish is simply divine . Although we turned down dessert , Juan politely encourage us to enjoy a complimentary birthday dessert so we chose the. Vanilla crème brûlée. Again , outstanding . A beautiful evening g in every aspect.

Had an amazing experience here food was exceptional. I was seated at a bar table my waitress was phenomenal I wish I could remember her name. The meal here was easily the best I had during my time in Clearwater Beach. I highly recommend and will definitely return for another wonderful experience.

We came to have a nice meal and watch the sunset from the balcony. We reserved a table, but they could not accommodate 5 at the tables outside, so we had to sit inside. That actually wasn’t that much of an issue and you will absolutely get a great view of the sunset, but still a bit disappointing. Nice meal? Absolutely not. Caesar salad was very bland. NY Strip steak was small and not very good. My son got the “Petite Steak” from the kids meal and they really honored the “petite” part. It was basically a meat patty for a slider. My wife’s tenderloin was very roast like and pretty dry. My son’s pizza came out burnt. At the end of the day we spent $250 for what I would consider $60 quality food. Service was also not great. Had to ask 3 different servers that we were ready to order. Had to ask for bread 3 times. From the time we sat it was an hour and a half before we got our food. Again, not a huge issue, because we got to enjoy the views of the sunset during that timeframe. If you want good food and that’s the priority, don’t go here. If you want a really good view of the sunset and don’t care about food quality or cost or service, then this is your place.

The food was fantastic, HIGHLY recommend the oysters Rockefeller! The Elk was delicious but would have preferred a little less black pepper. Crème brûlée was amazing and my husband said the snapper was one of the best meals he’s ever had. Michelle was our server and she was so attentive and down to earth.

Nice restaurant located inside of the Sandpearl Resort. It's open to people not staying in the resort and has a beautiful view of the beach if you sit on the patio (which is on the second floor), we didn't have trouble getting a table but I suggest making a reservation on the weekend. If you drive they provide free valet for up to 3 hours. The food was pretty good, they brought some complimentary bread and hors d'oeuvres while we waited, the crispy flakey bites were delicious. I ordered the Gulf Grouper, which was good but the sear was a bit over cooked (in my opinion at least) which I ended up cutting off. The other two people in my party had a salad and the NY strip which they both liked. Overall we had a very nice dinner, if you looking for an upscale restaurant with a beautiful and quiet view this is a great option.

Sushi restaurant
Sekushi on the Beach is a low-key spot with an industrial-style decor, offering Japanese sushi, dumplings, and noodles. Located at 524 Mandalay Avenue in Clearwater Beach, this small restaurant is known for its fresh sushi and excellent service. The menu features sushi rolls, sashimi of assorted fish, ramen, steamed buns, and an extensive raw bar. The sleek Japanese art decor sets it apart from other restaurants in the area.
Ashley is an excellent server and the manager. The house salad was wrapped in cucumber slices and so tasty. The fried dumplings were crispy and crafted to perfection. The sushi wraps were exquisite and fresh. We dined outside in the front patio where we could smell the clean ocean air. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. And the wanton canoli was out of this world. We’ll be back!

Five stars for this sushi spot! Everything I had was excellent, but the standout was definitely the quality of the fish. It was so fresh, and you could really taste the difference. I'll be back for sure.

Passed this walking and wanted to try! Started off with the shrimp app which was delicious with a spicy linger bite at the end, (maybe I'm a wimp) then I also tried the short rib bao bun which I really liked. Got the $49 sushi boat that has 6 rolls and everything was delicious and fresh. For my bday they gave me a canola style wonton which was cool and good!! Will be back

This place was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, which immediately set the tone for a great meal. The customer service here is top-notch the team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure you have the best dining experience. As for the food WOW. The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every roll we tried was a masterpiece, from the classic Tuna Nigiri to the creative specialty rolls. You can really tell that they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of thought into each dish.

My wife and I went to dinner here on our recent vacation and were greeted with very friendly staff and excellent service. The food was delicious and everything from the appetizers to noodles and sushi were prepared with great attention to detail. We started with a house and seaweed salad, the house salad had one of the best dressings I have ever tasted from a Japanese restaurant. We then got the pan fried pork dumplings which came a great chili crisp on top. For our mains, we split the Wagyu-Don, which was a fantastic Udon dish with the best beef broth and teriyaki wagyu beef on top and the Ninja Sushi boat, which featured five rolls all of which were prepared with extremely tasty fresh fish and the Sand Key roll was a favorite.

This restaurant is a must in Clearwater. They are amazing! Is the food authentic japanese? Not really, but they make it even more delicious. My 18 MO had yaki udon and he ate so much of it. Honestly, the udon was better than the ones I had in Japan. Samurai Shrimp was also amazing! Clarissa was our waitress and I have to say: she was the best waitress I had in entire North America. She somehow understood the baby was hungry and started bringing the dishes earlier. She also had attention to details and made sure we had the best dinner we could ve wished for.

Hands down 10 outta 10 experience! From the food to the service everything was quite exquisite. My sister and I had the calamari, Parmesan ceaser salad, grouper and the most delicious dessert... Breakfast in the morning was mind-blowing I had not one thing that was bad! Thanks Rustys bistro for such an amazing time to remember ❤️

Not at all impressed with the food for the price. The menu was not the same as online and was very limited. My “breaded” steak was burnt and served with French fries for $38! The calamari was chewy and inedible. We ran out of water and had to wait several minutes for our server to offer more water although the place was nearly empty. I do always like to end on a good note; the staff was very very nice and welcoming, the bread appetizer and salmon entree were very good oh and my son loved the broccoli.

We came back for the ribeye steak, but unfortunately it was not on the menu anymore . Sad. We had a lovely dining experience overall. The grilled octopus was a standout—perfectly tender and bursting with flavor. It came served on a bed of hummus or some kind of purée that was incredibly rich and well-seasoned, adding the perfect creamy contrast to the char of the octopus. The tenderloin was also impressive—beautifully soft and juicy, though it leaned a bit more on the rare side than expected for a medium rare. Still, the flavor and quality of the meat made up for it. I’m not usually one to eat mashed potatoes, but I have to admit, these were absolutely packed with flavor and hard to resist. We ended the meal with in-house chocolate chip cookies that were warm, gooey, and simply delicious—an unexpectedly perfect finish. Service-wise, Julie was very sweet and personable, though a bit forgetful at times. Nothing major, but worth noting if you’re someone who values attentiveness. Overall, a memorable meal with a few quirks, but the food more than made up for them. Would definitely return.

We are picky customers. We weren’t sure we’d have the best experience at this place being it is currently rated 4.2. Usually we seek 4.5 restaurants or higher. But alas, we are staying at the hotel and after a day of sun, we were wanting something convenient so we decided to give Rusty’s Bistro a try. Wow! So glad we did! From the moment we stepped in the pretty blonde hostess welcomed us with a warm smile and got us seated promptly. The gentleman serving our table was outstanding. Very knowledgeable on the menu and helped us make the right selections. I had the seared scallops, hubby got the rib eye. Kids ordered cheeseburgers and grilled steak kabobs off kids menu. The food was perfect! Every bite mouth watering delicious! We decided to get desserts as well, and they didn’t disappoint either. Giving this place five stars! Ambiance, service; food, wine and drinks! All amazing!! You won’t regret eating here.

I need to try this place again. I tried it for the first time on Valentines day with a reservation we made more than a week in advance. To be fair it was a set menu and I hate set menus, but I realize they do these on nights they have a high volume of people and want to make it seem more personal yet quick. We only had 3 hours total. 2 hours to eat and 1 hour of drive time because we only had a sitter for 3 hours that's why we were so specific with reservation time. We showed up 20 minutes early for our reservation and we're told to sit outside in the lobby. We checked back in at our reservation time and were told to have a seat in the lobby untill they came for us. We were offered alcohol for the inconvenience, but we dont drink so we just sat in the lobby for a while. We were finally sat very very very late about 30 to 45 minutes late. After being sat they did mention the kitchen was backed up. We were served another hour later and I could tell the waiter was trying his best to pace things out to make it less noticeable things were coming out slow. Sadly the food came out about the time we had to leave to get the kids so we did have to pack up all the food and eat it at home after picking up the kids. I'm probably more disappointed that we didn't get to eat nice food at a nice resteraunt kid free even though we did have a reservation and a little more than 2 hours in the actual resteraunt. I don't want to judge them too harshly on the Loooong wait because it was a busy night. I think I will try to go back again on a regular night and see how it goes. The food was good.....cold but good. It probably would have been better fresh. The cappuccino was good.

I Had a hamburger. It was good, juicy and flavorful. The nachos were also good. Next time I will only have the cheese on my nachos and get the sauces on the side. The sauces were good, it's just too much plopped on there for my liking. Would definitely come back

Dinner tonight was fabulous! We were surprised there was not a wait for this place! The food was so fresh- unique flavors, large portions, and wonderful presentation. Our server, Randy, rocked! He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Jamie, the maître d’, ensured everyone was taken care of- staff and customers. All around fantastic experience and the highlight of our stay in Sand Key. Everything was delicious, but I cannot say enough about the delectable crab cakes, spring salad, and pasta pappardelle (tender pasta with blue crab, scallops, and shrimp- so good!).

Located in Clearwater Beach, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a renowned facility dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing marine animals. It was established in 1972 and is housed in a former water treatment plant with large pools ideal for rehabilitation operations. The aquarium is home to various injured marine life that cannot return to the wild. One of its most famous residents was Winter, a bottle-nosed dolphin whose story inspired the movie 'Dolphin Tale.'
This aquarium has come a long way! I remember going here when I was younger back when it was a wildlife rescue center. The aquarium has really grown up since then and has some incredible displays. And not just for its permanent residents but also for the same wildlife rescue they’ve always been known for. The parking is much more manageable now with their parking garage built on site and the balcony facing the intercoastal has some incredible views. I would take your time with this visit and be sure to hit all of the different locations throughout the facility as there are quite a few hiding in some corners that are definitely worth checking out. All in office is a great trip to go on and is a fun way to spend some time out of the heat at Clearwater Beach.

Had a great time at this aquarium. At first I was a little disappointed to find out that feeding dolphins and stingrays would be an extra cost, but was then QUICKLY pleased with how many animal interactions we were able to have!! First coming in I got to pet a starfish which was super cool, got to see lots of dolphin tricks, pet a stingray!!!! I would do this again for sure. They also had such beautiful memorials all over the building for baby Winter, and props from the movie as well.

We had a great time here. I will say, there weren’t quite as many exhibits as I had hoped for the price we paid. We did see a great quality dolphin presentation, though, that was quite close and I felt was almost worth the whole cost of admission. I just didn’t think it took as long for us to get through as I had thought. Overall, though, a great and VERY educational experience. They clearly spend a lot of their time and money on rehabilitation work for their animals, and I felt great that my money went towards that work.

Camera/pic lady was great, Very informative lady by dolphins exhibit, (apologizes forgot her name but she was awesome!!!) she knew alot about all of the dolphins...and I mean all of them Rosie, Izzy, Rudy, Hope💚, and of course Nicholas!!! Loved the otters too!!! The tricks and chores they can do are great for all ages!!! Watch yourself could get turned around even with signs around a lil confusing on which way to go next but it worked out anyways... Very much a lot to take in the first time, definitely need a second trip in my opinion... DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY!!!!! A bit pricey on the pics!!!!

Clearwater Marine Aquarium is such a special place to visit, especially for families. It’s not your typical aquarium—it’s more focused on marine rescue, rehabilitation, and education, which makes the experience really meaningful. You get to see rescued dolphins, sea turtles, otters, and other animals up close, and learn their unique stories. The facility is well laid out, with interactive exhibits, educational presentations, and a great view of the rehabilitation areas. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Kids especially love the dolphin encounters and the hands-on learning zones. There’s so much to see and do that you can easily spend the majority of a day here, taking your time with the exhibits and enjoying the different experiences. You also leave knowing your visit helps support rescue and conservation efforts. Overall, a must-visit if you’re in Clearwater—both fun and inspiring!
Tash G — Google review
Some reviewers say ticket prices are high. I see it as supporting the mission of the aquarium to rehabilitate hurt animals and give those who can’t be released back to the wild a permanent home! Sea turtles are endangered so I particularly love what they’re doing to help them! We took the behind the scenes tour which was good insight. And the VR was fun for the family. Overall it’s a great place to learn as a kid or adult!

A marine that rescues and rehabilitates dolphins, sea turtles and more. Giving the public lots of educational opportunities. The only issue we ran across were the guys with the sea turtles … unfortunately, they were quite unfriendly and when asked a question, the one was very short and rude. Even at times was on his phone. Not saying it wasn’t work related but it was a bit disappointing. An awkward moment that passed as just that … a moment! Definitely not a deal breaker! Especially being, everyone else was friendly, helpful, polite and present!! I still highly recommend taking the opportunity to visit Clearwater Marine Aquarium! I believe it’s good to familiarize and educate yourself with what is going on and what prevention is needed for a better outcome for all!
Sara — Google review
I was a little underwhelmed during my visit as my expectations were a little higher than what the Clearwater Marine Aquarium had to offer. The employees I had interactions with during my vist were friendly enough and very knowledgeable in their field. The tickets we used were graciously gifted to us and I'm very thankful for that as I wouldn't be able to justify paying the price being asked for admission tickets with what I saw during my visit unfortunately.

Seat yourself at the bar or one of the booths/tables. We ordered the Old School Grouper Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tenders Basket, Piña Colada and Jalepeno Hush Puppies. The grouper sandwich was flaky, crispy and well-seasoned. Hush puppies were fantastic. The chicken tenders were close to the best I’ve ever had and the fries are addicting. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was poorly constructed. It’s two tenders, tossed in buffalo sauce. The sauce soaked into the bread and the bread practically disintegrated. If the sandwich held together I have no doubts it would be amazing. The piña colada tasted like coconut milk; but some may like it like that. The sauce with the hush puppies was phenomenal. Definitely would come back. Great atmosphere, Great food and Great Service.

Pier 60 in Clearwater is a vibrant boardwalk known for its stunning sunset views and fishing opportunities. Spanning just over 1,000 feet, it's a popular spot for artisans, street performers, and live entertainment. The pier hosts the nightly festival 'Sunsets at Pier 60' and annual fireworks displays on Independence Day and New Year's Eve.
Love this beautiful beach!! Sand is white and feels clean. Water is shallow, family friendly place where tons of kids were playing. A little bit of a walk from parking to beach area, but not bad at all. Playground, bathrooms and shops near by. So happy we chose to visit this beach while visiting Florida for the first time

The pier always offers a great view of the Gulf, the beach and the sunset. It was closed in late August 2025 for renovations so check on status before going out. The area is very busy and parking is nearly impossible. Public lot was full so we drove to Hilton Hotel next to the pier. Valet parking is for hotel guests but if you offer $30 cash, the parking lot guy will let you in. Be careful going through the roundabout... It's mayhem!

Nestled on the sun-kissed shores of Clearwater Beach, Pier 60 is a slice of paradise where the day bids adieu in the most spectacular fashion. We arrived just in time to catch the sky ablaze in hues of orange and pink, painting the Gulf like a living masterpiece. Street performers added a whimsical vibe, but the real showstopper was that breathtaking sunset—pure, serene bliss. If you're chasing golden-hour dreams, this is your spot. 5 stars, hands down! 🌅

Love this place! We of course went down day after Labor Day for dinner, swim and sunset. It is all magical and nothing beats a Florida sunset from the pier, in the water or on the sand! Parking is pay by plate, go early or go late. The pier glows at night and lots of people walking to and from! The beach is just serenity and the rejuvenation you didn't know you needed!

Clearwater Beach Sheraton Resort on Sand Key

Wedding venue
The Sheraton Sand Key Resort offers upscale rooms, some with ocean views, and a private beach. Guests can enjoy modern dining options and an outdoor pool. Rustys Bistro at the resort is known for its Thanksgiving buffet featuring a variety of delectable dishes including Gulf favorites like cocktail shrimp, oysters, and crab claws. The carving station offers citrus-marinated turkey and other savory options. Additionally, there's a chef's fall dessert table with cakes, pies, cookies, and more.
We came 2 weeks ago. Loved our stay. The rooms are very nice and clean. We had a beautiful view. We came for a night and decided to extend our stay to another. The hotel is very pretty but the restaurant is so scary, we actually made Reservations with the family (6 of us) to eat the first night and not leave the hotel and were surprise that the restaurant at 8p had nobody but us. When we sat down, the cups on the table were so disgustingly dirty we decided to walk out. There’s many other good places to eat around with in walking Distance. Besides that, i think the hotel should offer umbrellas and chair like every other hotel does around here. The property is very well located and the beach here is beautiful. The staff in the front was very nice and accomodating. We will stay here for the location and how comfortable the rooms are, but if you guys want to bump it up, fix the main restaurant because it makes the experience feel like the hotel is outdated and you are also losing business.

We hosted our daughter’s quinceañera at Sheraton Sand Key Resort, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We also celebrated our oldest’s quince there in 2023, and we knew we had to come back for 2025 because of how incredible the staff and event team are. The entire team was over-the-top accommodating, warm, and genuinely attentive to every detail. They made us feel so welcome and cared for every step of the way. The event coordinator and staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to truly enjoy the night and create unforgettable memories with our family and friends. Truly the best staff ever — professional, kind, and exceptional at what they do. We are so grateful and couldn’t imagine celebrating anywhere else!

I don’t even know where to begin. We booked the Sheraton for our anniversary trip (which they were told). No acknowledgement or special treatment from the hotel to celebrate, but OK. When we checked in, we asked for a quiet room, not near the elevator, with no connections to other rooms. The front desk woman said ‘we should check out our current room first as it’s very nice.’ The room we were assigned connected to TWO other rooms. In the middle of the night we had to call downstairs and complain about noise. The next morning we requested to be moved to a new room. Then, room service. The first day it didn’t arrive on time. We called and asked where it was. We were told ‘it’s coming.’ 3 minutes later, we hear the phone ring in a nearby room that’s not ours. Then our phone rings. The manager tells us ‘we didn’t select a delivery time.’ Hmmm…just bring it up when it’s ready, please. Room service debacle 2: this time WE did everything right on the order sheet. The order didn’t arrive on time…again. We called. We are told the manager(?) didn’t arrive on time that morning and they couldn’t locate her. So we just cancelled the order which messed up our morning schedule the day of check out. On top of all this, we were not given our free dessert voucher at check in. We were not given proper bike rental instructions so we had to ask. Also, beach chairs and umbrellas are not free - you have to rent at a steep rate from a third party company. Fast forward a few days later and not only were we charged $50+ for the bike rental, but I also have other random charges from the Sheraton on my credit card that were NOT part of my final agreed upon bill. This place is an absolute mess and should not be associated with Marriott.

The front desk staff was great!! The beach access is great and it’s the reason we chose to stay there. The room was nicely renovated HOWEVER there was a gigantic roach in the room which ruined the stay for me. I realize it’s Florida and they like to call them Palmetto bugs. I don’t care what you call them. They are disgusting. We happened to be checking out in the middle of the night anyway which is why we were up with the lights on. The front desk basically said it’s Florida and there’s nothing they can do about it.

What seemed online as a 4 star resort, felt in reality like a 2 or 3 star experience. Room was clean and up to date with a decent balcony but it’s mid from there. The pool area is decent but it took over an hour just to get a towel despite it being not too crowded. I am mainly disappointed that on top of a resort fee and a steep $25 parking fee, you don’t get any form of free lounging by the beach. $55 for two loungers and $15 per beach chair! I’ve stayed at many beach resorts in florida and that was a first. Thankfully i booked with points, but if i was paying the rate of $350-400 a night for this off season october weekend, i would be disappointed with the lack of value. 2.5/5

I enjoyed everything about this hotel, except for the fact that I was not able to use a luggage cart. We had to take 3 trips when leaving to get stuff to our vehicle. Room was good, clean. Set up a little odd with bathroom door and counter, and the table was set up in front of full body mirror.

An excellent hotel without a doubt! I’ve recently attended several conferences held here, and everything went wonderfully. The service is outstanding, as well as the food and the staff! It has exclusive access to one of the best beaches in Clearwater, with some of the most beautiful sunsets! An excellent place to enjoy a short vacation or a few business days.

This hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but in reality, it feels more like a 2-star experience. From the moment we arrived, the service and quality fell far below expectations. When we checked in, the front desk staff was unfriendly and appeared to prioritize giving out the worst rooms first. We were given keys to a room we couldn’t even unlock. When we returned to the front desk, we were told to go back up and try again, and if it still didn’t work, to call maintenance. The key still didn’t work, so we called maintenance, who changed the battery in the lock. Once inside, we were hit with a loud noise from the AC unit. We asked the maintenance tech to take a look, and although he removed the filters, it made no difference. He suggested we request a different room, saying other rooms had quieter units. However, when we returned to the front desk, we were told all AC units were the same. After insisting, the supervisor got involved and sent the maintenance tech to check other rooms. Eventually, they found a room that was slightly less noisy, but still far from comfortable. We accepted it because we had no other choice, but the noise remained disruptive—especially at night. To make matters worse, we had booked a room for 5 people, but upon arrival were charged extra for a fifth bed. We were told the “room for 5” only includes two queen beds. This was extremely misleading and unprofessional. The only positive experience was at checkout, where the staff member was polite and kind—unlike the rest of the staff we encountered. Overall, this was not a 4-star experience by any standard. Poor customer service, misleading booking practices, and uncomfortable accommodations made our stay disappointing and stressful.

Captain's Pizza is a popular spot on Clearwater Beach, especially for late-night dining. They offer thin-crust pizzas and a variety of breads and desserts until the early hours of the morning. Customers praise the delicious pizza options, such as spinach, feta, and tomato or extra cheese and ham. The restaurant also provides pickup and delivery services from 11 AM to 4 AM every day of the week.
This is THE BEST pizza on the strip. The crust is delicious, and the portions of each ingredient are perfect.

After seeing the sunset by the ocean, the family needed to be fed so we saw a pizza place with a sign 2 slices of cheese pizza and drink for $7.99. The boys were all in on pizza time. The establishment is located on a busy street where parking is hard to find. If you find parking, you will pay for every 15 minutes you're parked on the street. The pizza place is located next to many different bars, sweet shops and Hulk Hogan merch place. You enter the business and the young man took our order and quickly created the pie for us. The bathrooms and establishment was well kept. Business was light so our slices came out quick. The pizza was not generic tasting and the pie crust was light not with heavy breading. The cost for our 4 orders was $43 and worth the price.

Perhaps the employee was having a bad day. Don't get me wrong he was not rude. Just sort of monotone it kind of made me feel like I was wasting his time at some points. I went for pizza and it was not that good. However at least the restroom was clean. Located in a good spot but, a little lively music for the atmosphere would do this place some good. And some good old interpersonal skills will help out the customer service issue.

Five stars because this is place has one of TOP 3 best pizza's I've ever had and I was a pizza baker myself for 10 years! We had the "Captain's Special" wich I highly recommend and the "White Pizza" wich is an insanely good garlic bread with cheese. Ingredients were really fresh and the crust was baked to perfection. Great and quick service by the owner. Quiet and comfortable place, different from every other restaurant on Clearwater Beach with blaring music.

Google says they are open until 3am daily however, when my boyfriend and I walked over from our hotel at 1am they were closed. Also found it odd that when you click on their website it brings you to a page with a completely different name. The images online also show a different location than they are addressed. Very confusing. I’d suggest an update on their hours and information.

They guy was obviously overwhelmed and unnecessarily rude. On top of that, seriously the worst pizza I have ever had, Literally it’s a disrespect to pizza. In fact pizza it is an overstatement, It looks like they’re using an easy bake oven to cook them. They forgot our marinera and ranch but charged us for it! Worst 50$ I ever spent, Will never return.

Seafood restaurant
Island Way Grill is a sophisticated seafood restaurant located on the shores of Clearwater Bay. The restaurant offers a blend of Asian twists on classic seafood dishes, along with a sushi bar and scenic water views. Guests can indulge in freshly caught fish, hand-cut steaks, premium oysters, and daily specials while enjoying the stunning sunset. The establishment provides a warm and family-friendly atmosphere suitable for various occasions and events. Island Way Grill also features an expansive dining room and outdoor seating under beautiful lights.
Island Way Grill is an absolute gem on the water! From the moment we arrived, everything was top-notch. The ability to dock the boat and step right into the restaurant makes the experience even more special. The waterside dining atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, the perfect spot to enjoy fresh seafood and great company. The food was outstanding fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every dish we tried was impressive, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Service was equally excellent, attentive, friendly, and professional without ever feeling rushed. Between the convenience of boat docking, the unbeatable views, and the amazing food and service, Island Way Grill delivers the full package. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience on the water!

The service was truly top notch, attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel special. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the hospitality. While the spread was generous, it leaned toward standard buffet fare without much to set it apart. If you're going for the ambiance and stellar staff, it's worth a visit. Just don’t expect culinary fireworks.

We love this restaurant. We got married here and have never had a bad experience. Food is wonderful. Service was amazing. Demetri ( i believe that was his name) was fresh out of training and I wouldn’t have noticed! His attention to detail, and attentiveness was outstanding! We pulled the manager aside and let her know about our great experience! We will always be back.

My go to for Sunday brunch whenever I come over, on the way to the airport before flying back to the UK. Lovely restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. $45 for the amazing “all you can eat” buffet, which includes a welcome Mimosa or glass of champagne. Great variety of breakfast items including an omelette station. Fabulous fresh shrimp, mussels and crab salad, sushi, lunch choices, fresh fruit and miniature desserts. Great service, our waitress today was the amazing Lynsie who was very sweet, helpful and attentive.

We were seated opposite the main work stations and wine racks, adjacent to a private function, which resulted in constant foot traffic and noise. The tables and chairs were outdated and unstable. However, if we stood up, we could catch a glimpse of the water in the distance. It was later revealed that we were not seated in the main dining area, which was significantly superior to our designated seating area. When I requested to speak with the manager, a young, somewhat sarcastic representative approached our table and stated that the establishment needed to be fair to its waiting staff. I was taken aback, as I had booked this evening well in advance to celebrate my wite's birthday and retirement from the USAF, where she held a high-ranking position. I had anticipated a fine dining experience, not a seating area akin to a casual breakfast establishment. Not even a tablecloth was provided. We were informed by the purported manager that bookings were being taken a year in advance and that the dining area was busy tonight. Upon inspection, however, we observed eleven empty tables. I documented our seating area and the superior dining area with photographs. I expressed my disappointment to the sarcastic manager for ruining my wife's birthday. I would recommend that a restaurant like Island Way Grill appoint a more representative ambassador for their establishment. This experience caused significant distress for both my wife and myself. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

The food was okay; it was not on par with Frenchys or Crabbys Dockside despite being more expensive. The cauliflower side was delicious, though! The service was quite bad; I don’t think our waitress was trained well at all. She was very sweet but just didn’t seem to know how anything worked. We only saw managers when they came out to deal with problems at other tables. We had to call a manager ourselves to deal with an incorrect bill… she kind of tried to bargain us down, which was strange, but she ended up fixing it. There are many other places to try on the island that I’d recommend before this one!

Food, service, atmosphere, and views were fantastic. The oysters were exceptional! Amazing dinner at Island Way Grill overlooking the marina. Food highlights: York River oysters from Virginia, charbroiled oysters, hogfish (so good!), and sherry-maple-sesame Brussels sprouts. 🦪🐟🥦 Such a great way to end the day!

Restaurant
Crabby's Dockside Clearwater is a family-friendly restaurant located on Clearwater Beach, Florida, offering a variety of American favorites and seafood dishes. The restaurant provides stunning views of the beach and features a casual yet modern layout with floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests can enjoy dishes such as Jumbo Caribbean Lobster Tail, hogfish Imperial, conch fritters, and beach tacos while taking in panoramic sunset views.
A fun, laid-back spot for a tasty meal. The oysters three ways were a standout—absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying the Hogfish Imperial—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The blackened salmon was also spot on, perfectly seasoned and beautifully prepared. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for fresh, flavorful seafood.

It’s rare when I give that bad review but this place didn’t meet any expectations I had. That’s my fifth time being at Tampa/clearwater area and that would be my worst dinner among all of all. The mahi-mahi and the grouper was extremely dry and over seasoned, and the rest of the seafood was no better—overcooked and over-seasoned, which was especially disappointing in a place known for fresh catches especially that we choose especially for our kids to try the crab and was dry as well. The burger was bland and completely tasteless, with no juiciness at all but the worst was coleslaw overly acidic, so sharp it was unpleasant to eat which 3 of us got from our group and it really upset our tummy. I had local friends recommended to not eat there but I still went for the gulf location but it was a big mistake. With so many better options nearby, this restaurant completely missed any good expectations. The food quality was poor, the flavors were unbalanced, and nothing about the meal made me want to return. A disappointing choice in an area full of great alternatives. In addition to that the place is lacking cleanliness and the wait time is ridiculous and not worth it. The pictures speak for themselves , save your money.

Delicious and HUGE lobsters and oysters. Restaurant did a great job of seasoning and preparing filing portions for our hungry bunch - especially after coming up from a day out in the sun. Crabby's had indoor, outdoor seating with bar seating as well. There are multiple levels where you can be seated in doors. Overall, great experience, the only critique I would have is that we arrived an hour to closing with a few other groups not with us. The server at the time was a bit impatient while taking our orders as I assumed the kitchen was wrapping things up for the night - however it was a weekend night and our table was not one of the last ones left. We felt a bit rushed while deciding our dishes but were happy with how everything tasted.

Great food. Awesome service. Magnificent vibe! Close proximity to the beach and hotels. The mixed drink was delicious. I think our host's name was Jamie. He made our visit an amazing one. We ordered shrimp Alfredo, fish and chips, key lime pie, spinach dip, and the bucket drink. I'll definitely return to this place when I return to the area!

Great view of the sunset from 2nd & 3rd floors! Service was fabulous both visits. Food was a little cold the first visit this trip, but the flavor was still there! Definitely recommend grouper anything on the menu! My son said it was the best cheeseburger he’d ever had!

Really nice restaurant with a great menu. We started with the clam chowder and mussel appetizers. Then we had grouper. (His was grilled and mine was the fried sandwich which was so light and tasty.) If you are looking for seafood I highly recommend going here.

Nice place near the water but the food was disappointing. We ordered the No Worries Combo $30.99. The calamari was undercooked, we barely received any grouper, and only 3 shrimp. The picture is the full order. We order two sides of mac and cheese expecting it to be good but it tasted like boxed mac and cheese. We threw it away.
Millennium L — Google review
Saw this restaurant online and wanted to try it. Parking is horrendous there. We did get sat down right away. When we went to order our food, my wife and I both specifically said, we wanted all the appetizers on our bill. Appetizers came out ,the conk fritters, and the gator bites were okay. The oysters that they ordered, they had to wait for crackers and hot sauce for them. , a manager actually had to come over and bring them over to us as he was walking around checking on tables. Then when the main courses came out, my wife had to wait for her cracker to break open her crab legs, as they were in the dishwasher??? Dinner food was ok once we got everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. Then, of course, he brought the bill, and I didn't notice at first, but he had split the appetizers between myself and another party. Especially after we told them more than once that we were paying for the appetizers on our bill, Then the other party had told him that he was paying for the other three people, and the one lady he gave her a bill for her dinner which I think he corrected and put on the other guys bill. , if you go there, Do not sit outside, because between the birds and the flies, you spend half your dinner swatting everything away. I think when we are in Cearwater.again, we will probably try somewhere else.

Spanish restaurant
Columbia Restaurant Sand Key is a renowned Spanish restaurant with a rich history dating back to 1905. It was established by Casimiro Hernandez Senior, a Cuban immigrant, and has since become one of the oldest and most beloved restaurants in Florida. The restaurant offers authentic Cuban and Spanish cuisine and boasts a beautiful decor with an expansive deck overlooking the waterway, providing a perfect setting for special occasions or casual gatherings. With multiple locations across Florida, including Clearwater Beach, Sarasota, St.
First impressions walking in.. Am I under dressed? It looks fine dining lol. The atmosphere is awesome. The decor with all the old pictures. The staff are all dressed up. The tables are all nicely set With a great view of the intercoastal waterway. Their bread is all freshly baked. I would suggest getting there salad with their homemade dressing. They mix your salad table side. It is $10, but worth every penny. Every dinner item I've had here is really top notch. Pricing varies. Some dinners are moderate to high price. While others are average price. Really it's affordable for any family.

We ate at 3pm on a Saturday, so it was fairly quiet. We eaten at other Columbia locations and like the one in Ybor the best. It’s definitely the most beautiful. Putting that aside, we had excellent service and meals were wonderful.

I had my birthday dinner at Columbia Restaurant in Clearwater with my wife, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We started with the Black Bean Cakes for tapas, perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and even better with a little guacamole. I actually caught myself making that eyes-half-closed face because the flavors were just that good. For our entrées, I had the baked stuffed grouper, and my wife had the Lechón Asado “1905.” Both dishes were incredible. Mine was so good I cleaned the plate and even used the table bread to soak up every drop of the sauce. We shared a flan for dessert, which was creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet ending. What made the night truly memorable was our waiter, Edgar. He was personable, conversational, and genuinely kind. Since it was my first time dining here, his attention and thoughtful service made my birthday feel really special, and I appreciated that more than I can say. The atmosphere was equally impressive, with a beautiful view of the Gulf that gave the evening an extra layer of charm. This is an excellent spot for celebrating a special occasion, and we will definitely be coming back.

Decided to take the drive all the way out here instead of the location in Ybor City. And it was totally worth it! This place has a good Castilian vibe and there’s waterfront views here. The service was good, timely, and efficient. I liked how they mixed the 1905 salad in front of us and asked if we were doing anything special. The food here is absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the 1905 Salad, but there’s more: my crusted Mahi Mahi was very enjoyable with the lemon sauce. However, I wished the hot sauce came out quicker. I also really enjoyed the Flan and Key Lime Pie. They were both very sweet. Overall, would absolutely recommend this! All Columbia locations are great.

We love the Columbia! This was our first time visiting this location and you can’t beat the ocean views while you enjoy your meal. The 1905 salad is hands down the best salad we’ve ever eaten. The sangria is also a must!

Went to celebrate our son’s 7th birthday on the water and it was stunning. They have excellent bread and chicken fingers for kiddos fyi!! The food was delicious however they only offer Flan as a dessert so there was no treat for him to enjoy. I asked for any alternative but the answer was no. EVERY question I had (including asking for plates to use with bread and butter) was as if I was asking for A LOT. This is a one off because every time I’m there it’s SO GREAT all around but as the management told me… I could have just asked for a different server during our meal (yes that was the solution). Ready, here’s the issue: The long blond haired server that has a name starting with C was the issue. She seemed frustrated with everything we asked about but we just dealt with it but it’s strange to have a server “helping” you that seems like you are annoying them. The end of the meal I provided my card. She returned after charging us for our check AND the table next to us. I caught that the check slips didn’t match. An extra 92.02 was charged. I did confirm my card was used on both tables. I asked for a manager and she ran up to him trying to explain whatever she was trying to get out of. The entire meal was ruined by this one team member’s terrible attitude doing a terrible job. This is one of few locations you can expect the best of everything and tonight was a big fail.

I've been to three of the Columbia locations over the years. And all of them are absolutely excellent. There is no place like them. They set the standard for excellence, flavor, service, and atmosphere. However this location in particular stands above the others, even in my opinion over the original Ybor location, for this one is always near and dear to my heart. Nothing in particular that I can place a finger on, but I've found this location to always be my favorite. I've lost count how many times we've been here, how many major family events or just quick weekend celebrations we've had here over the years. Even after moving way out of the area, and having to drive over an hour and a half each way, past other Columbia locations in fact. The Columbia at Sand Key, and all the beloved staff there have become a part of my family's most cherished, core memories. A special shout out to James C. You're the best! Thank you all for all the awesome memories, and here's to many, many more in the future. All our love, -The Crazy, Happy, Disney, Gluten-free, Family.
