Food was great at Joe's in Walnut Creek, we happened to catch lunch on the day of their soft re-opening, and everything was FREE, appetizers, entree, and cocktails 🍸 Really tasty food and drink. 💯 Will definitely go back !

Good set of shops with Macy’s and Nordstrom . Any kind of goods you may find here. Apple shop is there also. Cafes and restrooms are available.

Nice place to relax and shop. The 1st place we went to in Walnut Creek. A full service outdoor mall. Contemporary with everything up to date. My wife and teenage boys enjoyed the plaza. I recommend it for food and shopping.

Great outdoor mall. A pedestrian bridge would be nice to get through traffic but I like how open it is. Parking is free for 3 hours... After that it's $25 for the day. The parking spaces are marked by lights so easy to find a open space by a green light above the space. They had a wonderful promotion for Gatorade this weekend giving away free Bolt 24 bottles. Cooled down during a hot weekend of shopping.

It’s been along time since I’ve been back to the Broadway Plaza. Prior to the pandemic it was always a nightmare to drive down Broadway and find the stores. Much less parking was a nuisance. Today it is beautiful it is a wonderful plaza with plenty of parking with escalators and elevators everywhere that are in working order it looks clean as well maintain. There is plenty of room to walk and to shop and no longer have to navigate traffic. I will be back.

First timer and really enjoyed the Lobster month lunch. The grilled lobster was perfect, and the garlic fries were hot and crispy . I ordered Joe's salad which was fresh and beautifully plated. The Mai Thai cocktail was THE BEST I've ever had!! The staff offered wonderful service and the restaurant was lively and clean.. Don't forget to try a delicious dessert. I will return.

We got here for lunch and eventually moved to the bar for an early dinner. Our waitress in the dining area was a little off putting in her attentiveness to our table, but the food and drinks were still good. My only real gripe about eating in the dining area, the cleaning staff is standing incredibly close to the tables to clean up after your eating. However, because they are soooo close by, it's almost a "hovering" aspect to hurry you along with your meals. In a sense, not truly allowing you to enjoy what's being delivered to your table. Once we finished eating lunch, we eventually moved to the bar because NO ONE wanted to check on us to see if we needed anything else and we had a better time there. The bartenders were incredibly attentive and informative. Overall, it was much better company and welcoming at the bar. We'll still go back because the food and drinks are good, but maybe sit in a different section next time.

If you're a seafood lover, Walnut Creek Yacht Club is a must-visit. The food quality is absolutely top-notch, with fresh seafood delivered daily that you can taste in every bite. The menu offers a variety of options, and whether you go for the lobster or any other dish, you're in for a treat. While the prices are on the higher side, as is typical for the Bay Area, the quality and experience justify the cost. The customer service is outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who make your dining experience even more enjoyable. I was craving fish and chips and heard that Walnut Creek Yacht Club had some of the best in town, so I decided to give it a try. The cod was great, perfectly cooked, moist, and delicious. The fries were fairly standard, but still enjoyable. If they can do fish and chips this well, I’m sure there’s plenty more on the menu worth exploring. I’ll be back.

What a treat! We sat at the bar in the back because we didn’t make reservations on a Saturday night dinner. Service was very attentive and atmosphere was comfortable. We started with the Joe’s Salad, perfected dresses; and the soup of the day ~ Roasted Pear, blue cheese and walnuts…so delicious!! The half dozens Kumomoto oysters were outstanding (and I’m not a huge fan of oysters). I had the Rainbow Trout with the lemon and capers which was perfectly balanced and delightful. He had the Seared Ahi with ginger and soy sauce, which was very flavorful. Great experience. Highly recommend.

My BF and I had his birthday dinner here. We had such a great time, the food was great, fresh and tasty. They had my BF name printed on the menu, sang him a birthday song and gave him a complimentary creme bruele, he was very happy. We went to another seafood restaurant to celebrate his birthday before this but I was very disappointed with their services and I planned a replacement one. I am very glad I chose this place because it gave him the special night. We will definitely be back again. Pricing is very reasonable as the portion is great. We were very pleased with their services too, so great. Atmosphere wise, it is on the loud side. Definitely not a place you want to bring a young baby or young kid. The toddler beside us was wailing and getting frustrated the whole time we were there. We don't mind it but it understandable why the kid is feeling that way. We can barely hear each other too.

Great experience. Service was really good, we were moved outside even though they had some seating in the "aft". But food was good and we had really good waitresses. Inside does look like a yacht which is cool. Had the linguine and clams with mussels which was great. Not too creamy or salty. My wife had a really good Mahi Mahi with two sauces. Kids had the breaded shrimp and fries. That was good value.

By far my favorite coffee spot! Philz never disappoints — every cup is smooth, rich, and basically the nectar of the gods. Their app makes it super easy to order ahead and skip the line, which is a lifesaver when I’m in a hurry. If you love great coffee and great service, Philz is a must. Highly recommend!

Café is very very good, we got all our informations about Café, milk alternatives and sugar perfectly from the gir on the counter, perfect knowledge and very good and friendly service! Definitely a much better cafe than by other brands that are more expensive because of their name... i just love it and im happy I got to know this brand! ❤️🔥

The coffee tastes good and quiet and clean. While enjoying a cup of Philz's signature mint coffee at an outdoor table with a cool fall breeze and music flowing in... it's similar to Korean mix coffee with a few mint leaves added.

This shop is amazing. The place feels cozy and welcoming the moment you walk in. The staff are friendly and always quick to help. The menu has a great variety, and everything is made with care. It’s clean, comfortable, and a perfect spot to relax or get work done. Easily one of the best coffee shops around.

They have good customer services. The employees are nice and welcoming. And the wait is not too long. I got the avocado toast, I love it. It is delicious and have a bitter sweet taste. The flavor on top has a nice texture. The atmosphere is chill, you can study there as well.

Without a doubt the best coffee in the Bay. Staff is friendly and treats every single person with dignity and respect. No ego from employees like a lot of other coffee shops. Philz deserves all the success they have and I’m sure that employees are trained to be the way I described. Most employees don’t have the initiative to actually treat people Iike a fellow human being, so I like to support the businesses that emphasize that while training their employees. Va de Vi Bistro & Wine Bar in Walnut Creek offers an experience that excels in ambiance and presentation but falters in delivering consistent culinary satisfaction. The service was outstanding. Our server skillfully managed the tight 1.5-hour table turnover, ensuring we kept pace with the kitchen while still enjoying our meal. The hostess, equally adept, finessed a last-minute reservation with grace—commendable touches that showcased attentive hospitality. However, the food itself was a mixed bag. Each small plate impressed visually but largely disappointed in flavor, with the exception of the butternut squash soup shots. These provided a sip of autumn warmth, boasting rich, creamy textures and well-balanced spices. Unfortunately, they were served in glass shot glasses that became too hot to handle, delaying enjoyment. The risotto lacked the depth of butternut squash flavor and was under-seasoned, making for a forgettable dish. The braised short ribs, served with polenta, failed to justify their price point. A longer braise could have developed more robust flavors, but the portion size and execution fell short. The Brussels sprouts dish was similarly flawed—overwhelmed by the tangy bitterness of unsweetened pears and pomegranate seeds, with Greek yogurt exacerbating the imbalance. Only the cod stood out as a highlight, with impeccable preparation and flavor, though its $21 price tag demanded excellence. The restaurant’s aesthetics are well-curated, creating a sophisticated dining environment. However, one can’t help but wonder if the prime location is inflating prices and detracting from the emphasis on culinary quality. While the presentation of the dishes was professional, the flavors felt secondary, leaving diners to rely on ambiance to justify the premium cost. Va de Vi has potential but needs to refine its focus on delivering standout flavors to match its visual and atmospheric appeal.

Great wine selection and quick bites! We tried several appetizers they were really tasty. We let the waiter pick our flights and he did a great job! It’s a bit pricey but so is everything in this area.

This place is such a gem. My daughter and I had a rare lunch alone and we loved every taste and even the timing of dishes was perfect! The Brussels sprouts and asparagus, tacos and shrimp over cornbread were a perfect meal for two. I had an NA beer and my daughter the staff picks white wine flight!

I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of this place before. The food here is amazing, only downside is it’s quite expensive but that’s a given considering the quality . The exterior of the restaurant is super nice and secluded and I love the big tree feature. Only thing I did not like about this place was our server in particular who did not have a friendly attitude and was being rude to one of the cooks who did not have very good English. But the other waiters who we interacted with were very friendly. Personal favorite dish was the beef cigars!

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. Their outdoor sitting in a quiet bylane is especially enchanting! All of the entrées we ordered were really delicious, but we especially loved their house fries and their potato leek soup, served in shot glasses. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

This place is very busy. We made reservation for outside on line. It started busy already. The host arranged a nice table. The environment looks like a beautiful garden. The food we ordered are fantastic.Braised Beef Short Rib,Beet salad ,Alaskan black cod, Dessert samplers platter Cheese platter . Very tasty! Good service! All in all they are worth to have a try!

Nothing comes close in Walnut Creek to the wonderful vibe of this outdoor patio space, full shade (great for summer nights!), friendly staff, and very good food. This is our new go-to in Walnut Creek. Definitely recommended!

Have been here twice. Food is good, little on pricey side but not excessive. Portions all appropriately sized. The atmosphere and ambiance is excellent. They pay attention to details beyond food. For a restaurant this place has a great drink / wine menu, whoever is their bar manager has curated a great beverage menu with great cocktails and wine flights. Our server Giancarlo was outstanding. Would recommend and will be back.

We came for Father’s Day brunch and had a wonderful time! Service was great, from the greeter to the server and everything in between. We weren’t sure if we wanted to sit inside or outside so they let us take a peek and decide. Outside was lovely so we sat on the patio. Drinks were tasty, food was delicious, and everything was pretty timely. We never felt rushed or like we had to grab anyone’s attention. A bit pricy but I would definitely come back.

The bartender was extremely slow in preparing the drinks, and the food was subpar with reasonable portion sizes. Everyone was only content with their food which was disappointing for a bday celebration. The beer can chicken wasn’t available either which was another let down.

Bounty Hunter absolutely blew us away! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The vibe is lively yet relaxed—perfect for a fun night out or a cozy dinner. Special shoutout to Joanna and Kate, the two incredible bartenders who made the entire experience unforgettable. Their energy, service, and cocktail recommendations were on point. They made us feel like regulars from the start! To top it all off, chef David personally brought over a decadent chocolate treat that was out of this world. It was such a thoughtful and delicious surprise—rich, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with love. It’s rare to find a place where the staff goes the extra mile like this. Bounty Hunter is now officially on our must-visit list. Don’t walk—run here! You won’t regret it.

The patio seating is at a garden making it dog friendly. It’s serene, with lots of shades. Great for lunch. Fried chicken is crispy and juicy (order it). Onion soup is particularly well seasoned and balanced (order it). Hanger steak is flavorful and tender (order it). French dip is made quite well. Fries are well cooked. Great service. Dessert is decent but not the greatest strength. Tacos are good but also not the greatest strength.

Walked in on a Friday night for late dinner and drink. Kinda wish we hadn’t… The cocktails were just okay but the 6 oz wine glass for $20 was not. Way too overpriced! When it comes to the food, I ordered shrimp and grits while my companion ordered the beef brisket. They brought my companion pork ribs which she didn’t order. They proceeded to bring out the most overcooked, dry pathetic brisket I’ve ever seen. The waiter said it would melt in your mouth and that was obviously a lie. They brought out another cut of brisket but it wasn’t much better. My shrimp and grits were okay but definitely not the best. The calamari appetizer was overcooked. Service wasn’t great either. I will never step foot in this establishment again and do not recommend.

I was really hoping this place was going to be worth of our anniversary dinner. Sadly it was underwhelming. My husband’s beer and the carrots were the highlights of our meal which cost $146. Our artichoke hearts were soggy and had very little meat for $15 price. The brisket came out cold, grey and very gristly. I had to spit out half of what I could eat. The coleslaw had no flavor. My husband’s prime rib was cooked okay but definitely not better than lesser expensive restaurants. Our waiter was friendly but unfortunately could not recover the let down of the experience from the kitchen. Sadly we will have to re-do our anniversary celebrating at another steakhouse.

Italian market with all authentic items and the deli is super legit! The head cheese sandwich with everything is delicious! Highly recommend!!

Horrible service. You take a number and they don’t even call numbers, then randomly start calling numbers again. Extremely slow service! Food is way over priced. Two of the smallest cups of ravioli from the hot bar was $22 and a small half piece of lasagna was $9. Ravioli tasted like canned food. Definitely would not recommend.

Good place to get an old school Italian deli sandwich and comfort food. At the deli counter, you can also get cold salads, desserts, marinated mushrooms and olives, and hot food (ravioli, lasagna, chicken, soup). They have a cold case selling a variety of drinks including beer. If that’s not enough, they sell a selection of imported grocery items… dry pastas, wines, cookies, candy, jarred olives and a bunch more. Right when you step into this joint, pull a number, and get in line at the deli. They might not be using the number system if it’s not busy, so no harm in pulling a number. The sandwich menu is hanging above the counter on the far right. You get to pick your choice of bread. Ohh the bread is bakery quality, gorgeous, and delicious. Dutch Crust and Sweet French Roll are my bread faves. They carry Molinari and Columbus deli meats. Yum. There is no indoor seating, but they do have an outdoor seating area. Another thing to note is that they Door Dash, and take text orders and old fashion fax orders.

Hidden Gem Alert!!! WHOA!!! This place is legit a fabulous sandwich shop!! I grabbed a sandwich for my flight and was very pleased with all the options. The menu is a little hard to read cause there is so much on it, but once you figure it out, it’s great! I got the salami sandwich with provolone cheese, Mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and a pickle on the side. The sandwich was filled with tons of Salami and the French Roll was PERFECT!! Those will now be my fave sandwich place! They also have a small grocery store and a pastry counter. Definitely go take a look!!

Always a great experience! I love their Prosciutto sandwich, which is always made to perfection Charcuterie items are of great quality and always fresh. I also love their spaghetti and meatballs. Their prepared meals are sooooo delicious. I love Genova Delicatessen 5☆☆☆☆☆

I bought ravioli and mushroom sauce, they were all rotten. I came back less than 1 hour after buying them and they only wanted to give me a gift card (I spent $140). I will never come back and will not recommend it at all.

We went there on Valentine's Day. The only choice we had was the fixed menu. I wanted to try additional items in the regular menu, but none was available. The sea bas was excellent. The meatball was pretty tasty. The steak was tender and flavorful, but the portion was tiny. The French fried was undercooked and was not eatable. The service was horrible since they were servery under staff. The tables were too close together so the staff could not even go between them to deliver food to some tables. We waited very long to be served each course. We had to ask the server 3 times to finally get a box for leftover. The dinner took 2.5 hours instead of less than an hour. Small portion and overpriced menu. We were disappointed.

Good food and drink. Solid service. The wings were tasty. A half dozen is really like an actual dozen since you get both flats and drums in one. The chicken tacos were legit. Super flavorful. The best was the Johnny cash burger though. Delicious! Good beer selection, and the cocktails were solid too. Rasheed was our server. Super cool, great recommendations on food, and pretty attentive too.

We dined outside and atmosphere was great but it can get a bit crowded when the area is full. Fast service and delicious food. I should have read the description of my salad a little closer because I didn’t expect fries to be mixed in my steak salad. If you enjoy people and car watching, you will enjoy your outdoor dining experience.

Plenty of parking. Easy to find corner spot. Great outdoor seating, with some shade. For a party of 5 on a Sunday we waited about 15minutes to be seated. Our server was great & quick with waters & stayed on top of keeping our drinks refilled. It was my family's first time, so our friend that brought us there suggested what we should get. Their menu had tons of options. Food was great we all enjoyed what we got. I only had left overs because the portions were filling for me too. They have a house sauce that I of course wanted to take home that had to go with my leftovers. Would definitely eat here again.

The service was excellent and the food was high quality. The outdoor seating had great vibes and was super relaxing, with country music playing in the background. I like that we were not rushed to get the check and got to enjoy our meal. I will definitely recommend to friends and revisit!

Went on a Friday for lunch, was seated right away. Had the Gold Rush burger and Chop(p) Cheese sandwich, and they were very good - burger was juicy, chopp cheese ground beef was seasoned well, and flavorful. Little Paloma mocktail was refreshing. Lesher parking garage was about a block away, and offered one hour free parking.

Sooooo …. Once I saw MUDSLIDES on their menu, it was over for me! I inhaled them first one and only got halfway thru the second. While inhaling my first mudslide, I munched on fries and gravy. Ya’ll. FRIES AND GRAVY. Yes. With the second Mudslide came the burger and sweet potato fries while Husband dug into Buffalo wings. I was so stuffed from sucking down the first Mudslide, I seriously only took maybe four knife-and-fork bites of my burger. But oh those were so delish! And whoever’s playlist was on, excellent job! Our server was super nice! Overall, def recommend! It’s now three hours later and I’m in bed with a still-full belly!

The service was amazing. Our sever was quick to refill our water and very attentive. The food was delicious overall; we especially enjoyed the Iberian oyster, which was very tasty and Paella negra. I just wish there were a bit more meat, but overall, it was a great experience. Just note that there’s an automatic 20% service charge added to the bill.

Teleféric Barcelona serves polished, flavorful Spanish plates, but my visit was undermined by how a service issue was handled. Food highlights - Paella Negra: Deep, briny squid-ink rice with perfectly cooked shrimp and clams; creamy aioli provided a bright counterpoint. - Crab Croquetas: Crisp exterior and silky, well-seasoned crab interior. - Wagyu Empanadas: Flaky pastry with a juicy, savory wagyu filling. Service and incident I found a hair in my drink. Staff repeatedly checked in afterward in a way that felt overbearing and made the situation uncomfortable rather than reassuring. Management did not offer a comp for the contaminated drink. Given the clear nature of the issue, I expected a discrete, manager-led resolution such as a refund or comp and a brief apology. Ambiance note The dining area is on the second story with an open-air terrace; it is NOT a rooftop. The space feels elevated without being on the building’s roof. Verdict Good technique and dishes, but the service recovery fell short. I would return if the restaurant addressed how managers handle contamination complaints and trains staff to resolve them discreetly.

Enter an Industrial style building with the strong aroma of fresh baked pizza. On the second level is Telerific Barcelona. A Modern Spanish food gem in well lit wood finish interiors. Food here is amazing and delicious. Non alcoholic versions of well known Spanish beverages are available. No wonder it is a favorite of many in the San Francisco Bay area. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Parking tho can be a challenge.

Great location, great service and, most important of all, the food here are better than the food that we ate when we were in Barcelona last year. The Catalan Tomahawk was perfectly cooked and the broccolinis are the perfect side dish. The oysters, the octopus, the chicken Empanadas are all very good appetizers but the we didn't care for the wagyu Empanadas much. The churros are a must for dessert. They were so good that we ordered a second serving. We live in San Francisco but we're definitely coming back ASAP...

Came for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Not a lot of people seated, nice window view of the outside. Parking was a bit of a struggle to get here, but overall not too bad. Ordered off of the executive lunch special, and had the tuna tacos and paella negra for myself, others had ordered the crab croquetta and paella mixta. Everything was good, I personally preferred the negra over the mixta, but both were good. The tapas were excellent and delicious all around. Servers were attentive and friendly, environment was clean and pleasant to look at. At the end of the bill is a 20% service charge, so tipping is not recommended unless you choose to do so. Overall a good experience for lunch!

The food was fantastic! Everything we tried was delicious. We had the wagyu empanada, gambas al ajillo, paella mixta, and churros. The churros were free because we signed up as a member in open table, where we made our reservation. We will definitely be back!

Came for dinner last minute and we squeezed in at a high top table. Food was great and well presented. We enjoyed a number of small plates. Service was a bit slow but the place was very busy.

The park is very nice, there are two ponds. There is a playground. A recreation and picnic area. And there is also a place where you can walk with animals. And also add beauty to the park are its inhabitants - Canadian geese and wild ducks. But there is a danger, that here it is allowed to fish with hooks, which harm these animals. Personally, my husband and I saved two ducks from a fishing line with a hook, which were caught by fishermen on a hook instead of fish. One duck was caught by the wing, the other by the beak. Therefore, fishing is harmful to animals. Please prohibit fishing in this park.

Heather Farm Park is beautiful.. the whole garden was filled with gorgeous flowers. Came here on a whim and fell inlove with it. Extremely peaceful, romantic place for couples and the scenery does not disappoint.. property was very east to find. I would definitely come here again during the summer as I think there would be plenty more flowers in bloom.

If not the best, probably the largest play ground in area. The large sand area with water dispenser to make lakes and moats is fun. My only complaint is it gets super busy on the weekends and I didn't want to take my eyes off my young child because he might be hard to spot in the crowd.

I reserved the medium picnic Area #8 for my October 2025 baby shower. The picnic area was clean, the weather was perfect ( 75 degrees) and the playground was located directly across the picnic reservation area which was super convenient. It's a great location for any Park party, baby shower or picnic. I love this Park!

Would like to notify the people that this park has lots of construction currently going on. Playground is open, have no fear. The fields are being turned to turf right now and they have started the main building's remodel and aquatic center project. The pond is gated off and being drained. The back side of the pond where the horses are (iykyk) seemed inaccessible from the gardens @ Heather farms but potentially accessible from the dog park direction but didn't check.

Great pool and I noticed an outdoor yoga class going on. Beautiful park

Great park!! Nice playground, swimming area, great picnic set ups, and I can see where they are reconstructing the baseball/softball fields. Lots to do, lots of space, my little guy had a helluva time. Will be added to my parks rotation.

I really don't know how to rate a dog park. But I'm just happy there's a place locally I can take my dogs. There's a section for small dogs and big dogs. I have both, so my little dog goes in with the big ones. I've never encountered any dog fights but I'm sure it happens. I've never met any angry dog owners either, but I'm sure they pop up every now and then. Let's see what else.. convenient parking, and it's all tan bark with a paved trail that circles the park. Lots of room for your dogs to run.

This dog park is big, although, there isn’t grass but tan bark and a circling path for yourself to walk to on. People who are regulars are almost always attentive to their dogs and communicate well to the behavior of their pet. The dog park offers tennis balls, which is usually lying around to use, as well as toys that you can give to your dog to offer them best time. You can bring your own toy, but be prepared to have other dogs want them! The park offers water buckets which you can take and fill at the front with the hose, plus an additional water fountain for both dogs and humans which is great. In the small and big dog areas, they provide ample dog bags—quality ones might I say—spread across the park for people to use if one does not have a bag on them. It’s usually busy in the mornings around 10 to 11am then around evenings after dinner, plus there are places to sit such as numerous benches hidden in shade depending on the time of day. (Picnic tables are available.) It’s quite relaxing, being that there is nature surrounding the place. Even an owner’s pet can have their fun and exploration while one can walk around the park for exercise! Bathrooms are not within the dog park but is available further down the parking lots that isn’t too far of a walk. The park I would say is well maintained, for on Thursdays, they clean up the loose bark that tend to fly off. It’s an overall enjoyable dog park with explicit rules to be followed, and I think it is suitable for any dog that loves to play, wants to run, or plainly observe and enjoy being in their element.

My dogs frequent and love this place! It has tables and benches for hoomans. They also have a small plastic swimming pool, toys and playground for the dogs. There’s also separate areas for small dogs (under 30lbs) and big dogs. The dogs here are friendly. In fact, my dogs have their own pack and best friends now even though we just recently decided to try this dog park. The best time to go is around 4pm onwards where there’s a lot of dogs to play with. There are also buckets of water, water fountain, and poop bags available. They used wood chips instead of grass. It’s a chance to socialize with other fur parents, too, and pro tip, you’re gonna be super popular among the fur babies if you have treats. Hahaha! Plenty of parking spots.

As an animal professional, I'm always skeptical of the safety of dog parks. But my dog had a lot of zoomies yesterday and our yard is small, so I figured I would try this one out, since we love Heather Farms so much. This place was so clean, and it seems like most of the dog owners who come here are very responsible! There was one dog with an oblivious owner whom I was warned will often start scuffles, but the space was so large we did not need to interact with them at all. There are plenty of benches and shady spots to hang out, and a little trail to circle while your dog runs.

The fun park has everything. An area for the large dogs and a separate area for the lil dogs. Just please clean up ur mess. Too nice of nature to let us see and enjoy mother nature

I love this park. My girl goes there every weekends and she absolutely loved it. She is a small pup so she goes to the small dog side and play with all her friends. This park has also a big dog side and both sides are always filled with friendly dogs. Both the parks are very clean and well maintained and people pick up after their pups.

I love how this park is divided by two different sizes. Park is clean too. A lot of friendly dog owners are around. It’s pretty busy in the afternoon.

Purchased the Tiramisu cake saturday 9/13/2025 for my daughter's birthday. It was amazing, delicious; everyone at the party agreed. I will definitely order again. The store front is only open by appointment so orders are submitted through the website online. There was a little glitch with the pick up time but that was due to a misunderstanding on the website. The website told me the time was EST, not PST so I had to confirm the actual pickup time. Overall, good experience.

Four years ago, I ordered a cake for my sister. She’s a cop (I know), and when she graduated from the academy, I wanted to surprise her with something fitting - a giant donut-shaped cake. A Sweet Affair delivered. This chonky masterpiece was funfetti-filled and probably weighed 25 pounds. It was hilarious, over the top, and genuinely delicious. Recently, I went back to order a small birthday cake for her. While browsing, I noticed one of their featured cakes had a Simpsons theme. I casually asked the clerk if they could stick one of those small pink donuts on top of a red velvet cake as a running joke between us. To my surprise, the chef went above and beyond. Instead of just topping the cake, they made a mini version of the original donut cake - a baby donut cake. Complete with bright pink frosting, it was just as funny and somehow even more charming. And of course, it was delicious. Sure felt nice to be remembered and I hope the chef enjoyed making it as much as we enjoyed eating it. We’ll be talking about this for years to come.

1st visit here and I ordered the Santa Fe Breakfast sandwich 🥪. It usually comes on croissant but they just ran out when I ordered (around 11:30am) and substituted with a different toasted bread. It’s a huge portion! Feels like comfort food and enough sandwich for 2 to share. Vibe is very casual cafe style with 4 booths and 4 tables in back.

Haven't been here in years but I remember the times we ate there. Terrific sandwiches and awesome (HUGE) cookies. Glad to know the fiasco with BoA is over. May I suggest a different and much better bank? US Bank is among the most trusted banks in the USA and has a branch office in downtown WC.

I have been going to the Sweet Affair for several years. I love the brownies, my late mother loved the chicken salad sandwich. The baked goods are also to die for. I love this place. I always bring home a dozen brownies when I go back to NV , put them in the cooler and they will be fine for the 280 miles trip 😋.

Fresh baked bread makes for EXCELLENT sandwiches!!! 😋 All of the fresh cookies and cakes I've tried have been delicious as well. ALWAYS friendly service. There are some nice clean booths inside and tables outside. One of our favorite places for lunch! Enjoy!

Sweet affair is an oldie, but goodie. This place has been around since I first moved to the Bay Area 30 years ago currently two locations that I am aware of both in Walnut Creek. It’s my go to place I mean it’s an addiction so be careful if you need a cake for any occasion, they have plenty ready to go or if you want to pre-order. Their sandwiches are amazing. You can do a half sandwich with super salad and they even have chicken pot pies. Their breads are made in-house they will slice them up. The cinnamon bread is a must.

We stopped in here on our way to Travis, we had lunch and a drink, the environment was modern and clean. Our service was just ok, the guy helping us was just not friendly or personable at all. The food was fine, we had appetizers and had a nice time chatting with each other.

Very good beer and there’s a fantastic pizza vendor that appears to be quite regular. They are expanding their location, so there’s no inside seating right now. Definitely worth a visit.

We enjoy coming here for Cali Craft’s open space. They have a big selection of beers and non alcoholic beverages. From time to time, they will have food options by partnering food trucks. I would definitely recommend coming here if you enjoy beers but also it is an easy place to hang. Breweries are pretty great for young families.

Great open searling outside with delightful beers. Only issue is either people are blind & stupid when it comes to parking.. or the lines are gone.. but i have never seen so many people take up 2 spaces in y life.

Came here with a friend and the outdoor open-air seating was great! It was my first time here and I think I was expecting to see the brewery here but it was just a beer garden/ taproom. The staff were really friendly and told us about the different beers. They also have a food vendor selling hotdogs, it's good but would be better with more variety. We probably went too late and they were sold out of other items. Plenty of parking space as it faces a parking lot but it was initially hard to find it as I made a right turn too early. Overall, pretty good vibes and decent beer🍻

A great place to unwind with a huge beer selection. They also offer food, and there is a food truck outside. It's kid and dog friendly.

We went to CaliCraft in Davis this evening with friends. The staff was wonderful. The pizza and fried chicken sandwich were thoughtfully prepared. BUT the two Summer salads we had were not edible…literally terrible. They were supposed to have arugula & romaine lettuce which was substituted with 100% iceberg lettuce and there was 0 taste. The chicken was not chopped or cut and was primarily dark meat. They were ugly, bland and a huge disappointment….my friend and I couldn’t eat them. I also need to mention we ordered one pizza, received 2. Ordered two Summer salads and they brought Caesar salads to our table which we had to send back. We kind of gave up after my husband had already eaten his dinner and the other 3 of us sat waiting for our food. I hope they hire a chef to make up a good salad recipe for them so we can go back. I mean, how hard is it?

A nice urban park right in the middle of Walnut Creek. It's no Central Park or Golden Gate Park, you're not going to spend your whole day here, but it has just enough space to stretch out a bit. There's some nice landscaping, wide-open space, a few neat old bridges over the creeks nearby, and plenty of seating for when you're just looking for a place to rest either in the shade or in the sun. Crucially, there are public bathrooms too -- something that's often in high demand and short supply when you're walking the adjacent Iron Horse Trail. Just be advised that that they're not visible from the trail and you'll need to walk into the park and across the wooden footbridge to find them. You can see all kinds of people here on the weekends, including lots of kids and seniors. There's a community center with public art classes and the city library both accessible from the park, and the park has its own free parking lot if you're coming by car. All in all, it has pretty much all you could hope for from a park of its size. The reason it doesn't get five stars is because there are often homeless guys sitting at the picnic tables chugging vodka or smoking cannabis in the middle of the day. I haven't seen them really aggressive, but it makes the park much less of a relaxed, family friendly space. There's also usually a lot of trash (plastic bags, beer cans, etc.) down in the creek and nobody regularly picks it up.

Pretty park in the middle of Walnut Creek downtown. There’s a gazebo that makes it look like Star’s Hollow in Gilmore Girls. Abuts the library, so you can find a nice spot under a tree to read. There’s a clean children’s play area too, though the restrooms aren’t in great shape.

This is one of our favorite neighborhood parks — my 4-year-old son absolutely loves it! It’s small, clean, and has a nice grassy area. There’s plenty of shade, so the sun isn’t too harsh, and it’s conveniently close to the library, which is a big plus. The only downside is the sand play area. Unfortunately, some visitors bring their dogs into that space, which makes it less clean and not ideal for kids. Kindly, we ask dog owners to keep pets out of the children’s sand play area to ensure a safe and hygienic space for everyone. Overall, it’s a lovely park with great potential for families!

Awesome park! I went here as a child around 25 yrs ago and it's so nice they've changed nothing about this park. My son especially loves the train.

Ridiculously excellent! Basic hamburger made with fresh meat, buns made on site, and then lettuce, tomato and a homemade sauce that tastes really close to a Big Mac sauce. Oh yeah, fresh cut fries! Really good meal, reasonable price, too. Prepare to wait, it's cooked while you wait and there was a line in the middle of the afternoon! Delivery was going Great guns, too. Great job, Mooyah!

This place is very good and the staff is extemely friendly. Never had bad service here. Their fries come in huge portions even the single serving is big the shareable is huge. Big selection they have really good turkey burgers, beef of course, vegan burger if you have any plant based friends or family, lettuce wrapped burgers, build your own burgers, along with fries and sweet potato fries. Very good prices too for the amount and quality of food you get. Also have a real good online and phone ordering system. A+

The house made burger buns stood out to me. The burger was excellent but the bun sold me. The fries were great as well. Very comparable to Five Guys.

My family loves this place. Essentially a better Five Guys...and I like FG. Always jumping cause the burgers are solid. I think they might make one of my favorite fries.

This is a follow up to an older review where I said this place feels a bit “low rent” and not in a good way. Since that last review, they have remodeled and although it isn’t drastically different, it feels better and I like the colors they used. The menu is refreshed though I cannot say if they have added any menu items. It just looks better. I’ve seen a few Next Door posts where people rate their favorite burger places in Walnut Creek and a few names seem to always get mentioned frequently and I would disagree with those choices. Mooyah is the best burger place in town even if there are others that are similarly good. Try it and let me know if you agree.

I enjoy the Mooyah blackbean veggie burger with avo, grilled onions and mushrooms! Their hamburger buns look homemade (less bread compared to conventional hamburger buns), but be prepared to finish your meal with a spoon because everything overflows onto the tray. A gourmet yummy mess! Quick service, and decent French fries.

Big venue which I'm sure can be very noisy if full of people. The Guinness pot pie was delicious. The Satay salad wasn't that good, the chicken had an off taste and the satay sauce was on the spicy side. Our waiter was friendly and efficient.

I had been hoping to visit this establishment for some time, and with family in the area, we chose to dine there for lunch. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦😋👍 The service was impeccable; we were seated immediately, our orders were taken swiftly, and our meals arrived promptly. 💯👏😊 The pies were steaming hot—a word of caution!—with flaky, delicious crusts and ample gravy. 🥵🔥⚠️ Unfortunately, they were so hot that I burned the roof of my mouth, resulting in a blister that prevented me from finishing. 🤕🩹😭 We certainly intend to return, but next time, I shall allow the pie to cool slightly before partaking. 🥧😋😊

Very tasty food in an aesthetic environment. The mother and son waiting when we went were prompt and friendly. The pot pies are a unique take on a classic, with excellent spicing and juicy meat. The stuffed jalapeños were fantastic. Unfortunately, they were out of bread pudding; I really wanted to try it!

By far one of the best, if not the BEST restaurant in Walnut Creek. Nooki and Anne have been my son’s and I servers and they have both been just phenomenal from suggestions of menu items to their overall demeanor and personalities. Could not have asked for a better experience, dining or otherwise, and this has very quickly become a weekly establishment that I frequent. If you are looking for somewhere in the area for either a quick bite or a couple hours to just relax and enjoy food and drinks- this is the place to be.

I've been here twice and the craft cocktails are really well made and thought out. The food is DELICIOUS and playful at times with its garnishes while maintaining a satisfying portion size that goes with the rustic theme. Could not recommend more

This is the third time I've been here. The pot pies are very good. This time I decided to try the hamburger. It was good. The french fries were so overly salted. It wrecked the meal. Each of my guests. Very much enjoyed the pot pie that they picked. Overall a lovely place. Would not order the fries again.

That's place is a great spot in walnut creek to get some amazing food. The pot pies are awesome as well as the starters. We got the carnitas pie and the spicy chicken pot pie for dinner. The carnitas was perfect and the spicy chicken was great and actually spicy! Make sure to have them add on cheese and a fried egg on top to finish it off. This is a great restaurant everyone should try out. 😋

This place has become a typical family consideration for lunch or breakfast, and one of my top picks on the menu is definitely the orange juice—it's fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is always friendly, which enhances the overall dining experience. The quality of the food has consistently met my expectations, making it a reliable choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. That said, I do have a couple of minor criticisms. While the tabletop surfaces are always clean, I’ve noticed that the cleanliness under the tables can feel a bit lacking, and some of the windowsill areas near certain booths could use a little attention. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means, but it’s something worth mentioning. Overall, Black Bear Diner is a solid choice with a great menu and a cozy vibe. I’ll definitely continue to return for the tasty food and friendly service! Highly recommend it!

I had lunch at Black Bear for the first time with a group.. Had a great time. The food was wonderful, plenty and very tasty. The chicken fried steak was tender with their amazing sauce. And then biscuits were incredible ! Servi e was great, friendly and helpful. This will be a new go to spot to enjoy a great meal out without breaking the bank!

We came for breakfast Saturday morning. The crew showcased great team work and outstanding customer service. Jose was our waiter and checked in on us often. 3 other members came to check on us and tended to our asks and plates. I ordered the bacon Benedict and it was tasty. The orange juice was deliciously fresh.

Me and my husband came to try this place for the first time, the food was very good, and our waitress was really nice and always checked up on us. The food didn’t took too long to make. My whole experience was good.

Love ordering from Black Bear Diner! The food is always delicious with generous portions, perfect for comfort meals. Delivery was quick, everything arrived hot and fresh. Great quality and great value — highly recommend!

This is like home to me. Staff are nice. We had steak and avocado toast, both of which were delicious. Unlimited coffee refills. Also, they are dog friendly, which is so important to me. The atmosphere, the lighting and the design is cool.

Came here for a birthday dinner and the food and service were pretty good. We started with the spinach salad and Boston style clam chowder. The salad was drenched in dressing which was wayyy too salty, but the chowder was pretty good. For entries we had the crab pasta and salmon, both were pretty tasty. For dessert we had the fruit tart (I’m forgetting the name) and the bread pudding. The bread pudding was so delicious but I was too stuffed to eat more than a few bites and sadly didn’t take the rest home. We came on Dec 30th and the restaurant was almost empty, so the service was very fast. Overall I would eat here again.

FInally getting a chance to post the pics and review from the Scotts Seafood Holiday buffet. The sheer amount of food was impressive. There was a wide variety of choices, from seafood (of course) and soups and carved meats. The dessert display was inviting and the desserts delicious. The wait staff was right on top of the mimosa refills. And lastly, the band - fantastic! I'd go back for sure.. It is a bit pricey, definitely rivaling Las Vegas buffet pricing, but not as wide a variety.

My Husband Surprised me and Made Reservations here for Us on Valentine's Day. It was so delicious. This is one of our new favorite spots and if you are in the area looking for a new restaurant to try, I hope you stop by.Starting with our appetizer,  We ordered the Traditional Trio. Calamari, Cajun Popcorn Shrimp and Crab Cakes. Everything tasted So amazing and Fresh. I was very surprised!!  Before this night, both my husband and I were not a huge fan of Crab Cakes, but now we are. The Cajun Popcorn Shrimp was seasoned to perfection as well as the Calamari. Next Are Our Entrees! My Husband Ordered The Steak And Lobster- 6 oz. Petite Filet Medium Rare and 6 oz. Lobster Tail, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Vegetables Marchand d’Vin & Drawn Butter.  He Loved Every Bite ! No Complaints Whatsoever.I ordered The Atlantic Salmon, Grilled with Spinach and Sliced Garlic Potatoes. The Sauce that The Salmon was In was Very Good.  The Spinach was fresh as well as the potatoes. Everything was literally amazing.Next And Finally... Is even better than icing on the cake. Dessert!!!! Omg so let me start off by saying that it was absolutely amazing. Didn't know that Eating Delicious Food can give you an Orgasm? Eat at Scott's and Get Yours Today! I Ordered the White Chocolate Cheesecake. I enjoyed every freaking bite! I really had no room after my dinner but I could not let even a bite go to waste.My Husband Ordered The Bread Pudding "Bananas Foster" which is made with Dreyer’s Vanilla Ice Cream, Rum Sauce, and Golden Raisins. It had no low points. Everything was made perfectly and we went home extremely full. I overall enjoyed myself here at Scott's Restaurant. A very kind gentleman played the piano for most of our time there and hearing his music brought us memories of The Piano Sound Effects On Our favorite Childhood Cartoon, Tom & Jerry. Service was excellent during Sunday brunch. The beignets were delicious upon being seated and the mimosas were fantastic. There were other complimentary drinks to choose from, e.g. bloody Mary's etc. We were extremely excited and pleased to find out included in the brunch were fresh oysters! Mmmmm. We will definitely be back to this location!

Proof yet again that exorbitant prices don't mean better food. This crab sandwich cost $28. Where's the crab? I thought maybe this was a mistake. Sent it back to the kitchen, and it came back the same. Maybe they should call this a grilled cheese and avocado sandwich. Never mind the cost. The taste of this sandwich? Well, tasted like grilled sourdough and cheese.

The food was great, but we waited a long time to get served. Apparently there was some confusion over who was waiting our table. We went around the time of a million holiday parties, so I'm willing to bet it would be better another time.

The service was amazing! I don't remember our servers name, but she was bartending as well. The food was really good, but I don't feel it lived up to the $91 price tag per person. The eggs benedict and some of the shrimp items should have been changed out more often. The fresh fruit was limited. The mimosas flowed very freely, and that saved the experience.
