The House on the Rock is a one-of-a-kind architectural gem that features a sprawling, Japanese-inspired home built into a massive 60-foot rock formation. Visitors will be amazed by the vast collection of unique exhibits and displays, including impressive robotics and other fascinating curiosities. The museum offers something for everyone, with its full-scale replicas and quirky items sure to keep visitors entertained for hours.
The House on the Rock is truly one-of-a-kind — equal parts whimsical, eerie, and utterly fascinating. I've visited five times over the years, and every visit still reveals something new. The place is absolutely packed with curiosities and collections — there's something to see in every direction, so be sure to look up, down, and all around. Every nook and cranny holds a surprise. If you're planning to see it all, be prepared to spend the entire day and wear comfortable shoes. There is a lot of walking, ramps, and stairs, but the experience is absolutely worth it. Many of the interactive exhibits — like the self-playing instruments, fortune tellers, and mechanical music machines — require tokens. You can purchase these with a credit card at the welcome center, but the token machines throughout the attraction only accept bills. ...and unused tokens can be exchanged before you leave, so that alleviated my concerns of buying too many. If you're looking for a truly unforgettable experience, The House on the Rock delivers. The sheer volume of collections is astonishing, and the original house itself is a beautiful piece of architecture. To anyone who enjoys the unusual, the artistic, and the unexpected —this place is for you.

This place was amazing. Every corner there was something great to see. What a mind blowing collection of items. A must see. The staff was incredible friendly and knowledgeable. If you have leg, hip or back pain. I’d highly recommend some good walking shoes, some ibuprofen and maybe even a muscle relaxer. It a good walk that goes up and down, up and down, up and down. If you have little kids that will get tired and want carried, is suggest that you maybe wait until they’re past that stage. It’s a lot for little ones. If you have kids or family that are easily over stimulated, I’d suggest some eat plugs. It can get very noise and chaotic.
JJ — Google review
I don’t think anything could have truly prepared me for this experience. It was so incredible, mind numbing, ginormous, chaotic, and entertaining. Anything I could find online about it didn’t even scratch the surface of what we were in for. Every section was so over the top and captivating. Our group especially loved the iconic whale room and the original house. The carousel is a sight to behold. Fall is definitely the best time of the year to visit as the whole house is sort of spooky in its own way. My only couple of gripes are the length and the temperature. If you have mobility issues or do not like long walks, this is not for you. The whole tour is about a 2.5 mile walk and there’s quite a bit of incline. No problem for our group as we are avid hikers, but even my feet hurt by the end. The exhibit is also not temperature controlled. On the day we went it was 42 degrees, so the whole time it was about the same temperature walking through everything. We were very cold. Not much relief from it either despite being inside most of the time. Website says to allow a minimum of two hours but it takes most 3-4 hours to get through if you thoroughly look at everything. We found that to be true. We cranked through it and got out within two hours but can easily see it taking 3 or more if we spent more time reading and taking in every part of the collection. There’s just honestly so much to see. Too much to ever remember so at a point we kind of blacked out and just finished it quickly. Overall a once in a lifetime experience and I’m so glad we went. Well worth the ticket price in my opinion! Stop by downtown Spring Green on your way in/out for lunch at Wander Provisions and the ice cream shop next door!
Katie G — Google review
This place is still mind boggling amazing. Bring your walking shoes and prepare yourself to see a living piece of Americana. Its hard to describe the experience, you walk through the results of incredible drive, whimsy, wonder, and collections of collections. My only critique is that they need to spend a couple of weeks dusting, cleaning, then glueing a few things back together. Be sure to watch the history presentation at the beginning and read the wall features to get a better feel of what was accomplished.
Keith K — Google review
This place was super fun. We unfortunately were not told it would be 40 degrees indoors fon a 4 plus hour tour which made it less fun. The 4 stars is for the place itself but I feel the staff should have seen me in a sweater and advise me to dress warmer. I really made it miserable. We plan on going back another time and dressing appropriately. It's worth a visit but dress assuming it's either hotter or colder indoors then outside.
Matthew F — Google review
Was my 1st time there & had a lot of fun going thru with my friend! If you collect smashed pennies (like me), there are 2 machines & both are located in the restaurant area; 1 design for each machine; each machine takes 1 penny + 2 tokens; no rolling issues that I noticed. Only criticism I have is that it could use a little dusting; I know that's a big task wirh this type of place, but there is a strong dusty smell & was starting to get allergy/sinus irritation towards the end. Also, some of the machines that take tokens weren't working, but there was no signage; saw multiple people wasting tokens on machines that would accept them, but then not work; maybe someone could go thru once a week or something to test them & label if not working properly. Overall, I had a really fun time and was worth checking out because of it's uniqueness.
Chelsey T — Google review
I felt it's not worth spending a $35 ticket to visit. I felt like I was walking through a big warehouse where it keeps all cheap useless stuff from garage sales of the 1930s. These lack of maintenance dolls and fake stuff were out of time and dusty. There were many coin-operated, automatically playing stage sets and puppets, making us feel like we were in a nightmare. It's 2 miles to walk through the house. However, my son likes this place.
Lily L — Google review
I can't even begin to describe the house on the rock to anyone. I've done A LOT of reviews, and I've come to have a good skill with it. However, my words does the house on the rock no justice. I assure you, this the absolute most awesome place you've never even heard of. There is SOOOOO much visual eye candy, one is almost beside themselves. It doesn't matter if your a little kid, or an adult, a teen, a parent, a senior, there is SOOOOO much here. Let's take our EVERYTHING, and if your into architecture like Frank Lloyd wright, you MUST experience the infinity room. It definitely changed me. It gives you an indescribable feeling.

Variety of tours highlighting Wright’s Wisconsin works including Taliesin Estate & Hillside Studio.
Dale was our tour guide for the "Estate Tour" -- a 4-hour walking tour through FLW's home, the school, and a floor of his sister's home, plus walking past the barn, the windmill, and some other small buildings. By walking the 1.5 miles with our guide and having time to enjoy it all, we felt the vastness of the estate and got to hear so many more stories than we would have been able to hear on a shorter tour. Dale was a terrific guide, too. Easy to hear, despite the fact that our group was the maximum size (24), and he was respectful of guests' needs when a couple of folks needed an accommodation mid-tour. So many stories of Wright and his family as well as details about the architecture to notice and understand. Well worth the time and money!

Get the Highlights Tour ⭐🏯 Now that we got the recommendation out of the way, let me inform you as to why? ... It's worth it. Running roughly two and a half hours, this tour dives into the ethos of who Frank Lloyd Wright was, with the context necessary to appreciate it - most especially, organic architecture in its most raw form. If you're design buff, architecture student, working professional, or just interested in appreciating beauty in design, then this short escape just steps from the city of Madison should be at the top of your ticket. Go check it out! 👨🏾‍🎨

Planned a trip to Taliesin. We were going to do the self-guided tour. When we arrived, we were told that even though it’s self-guided, it doesn’t start until 3:00, after the guided tours are complete. I understand the reason — they don’t want the self-guided tour to conflict with the guided ones. That makes perfect sense. The issue is that nowhere in the description does it say this. You only find out when you schedule a self-guided tour that it’s at the end of the day. When I brought it up with a staff member at the visitor center, she acknowledged that this has been an issue before and agreed it would be a good idea to update the website description so people aren’t disappointed. When I see “self-guided,” I assume some flexibility. Our travel schedule didn’t allow us to wait another four hours to take the tour, and I don’t know the next time we’ll be in the area. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
Scott W — Google review
After visiting Taliesin West last month on a trip to Arizona and being an avid admirer of mid-century architecture, I thought it was finally time to make the journey to the original Taliesin in Wisconsin. I happened to be in the area after seeing a Shakespearean play at American Players Theatre the night before, and my trip was nothing short of impressive. The very ethos of organic architecture is woven into even the most minute details, and the surrounding landscape is absolutely breathtaking. This place truly brings Frank Lloyd Wright’s vision to life - I couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone with an interest in architecture or design.
Satyaki M — Google review
I was truly amazed! As someone who has played piano for events in Frank Lloyd homes before, I know how much time and work goes into keeping those homes restored and in good. This place was incredible. I was also very impressed with how much knowledge the guides had. I asked a lot of hard questions and they kept right up! Will be going for the walking tour!

It was worth the drive from Milwaukee! If you are a FLW fan, it is a must see! The gift shop is great, too. Our guide was wonderful. I'm so glad I went!

This isn’t just a theater, it’s an entertainment experience. From the theater tucked into the picturesque rolling Wisconsin hills, to the trip up the hill (by path of shuttle) to the theater area (with ample concessions, gift shop and restrooms) to the amazing performances given by some very talented performers. Absolutely would recommend, and we go back as often as we can!

Beautiful venue, setting in the woods. The Hill theater is gorgeous, with amazing sets & lighting. Very high quality productions. Incredible actors. The concessions are very proud of their offerings, if you're ordering ahead for a picnic. Ample areas to bring in your own picnic food.

Last night was my first experience at APT, and it most definitely will not be my last. I saw the show "Anna in the Tropics," and it was amazing. I laughed, I cried, I felt things deep in my soul. My favorite parts were the monologues. They were all done so perfectly (this the crying). The actors were great, the show itself was wonderful, intriguing, heartfelt, and funny. I loved everything about last night, I can't wait for my next show! Also, the picnic area is so nice for before the show and the seats are so comfortable! 10s all around! ❤️
Sarah D — Google review
We've seen a number of shows at APT and all of them have been really fun experiences. The actors are always incredible and they put on a great show. Not to mention all the other employees at the service desks and concessions stands are always very polite and helpful.

Every year we are in awe of the content of shows and the fabulous performances. Not sure how they continue to get better and better but it's working!! One of our favorite places!!

Very entertaining and would love to be back for a nighttime show!! The backdrop of the woods has an enchanting feel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Additionally the amenities were clean, the shop and concessions had a nice assortment of options. The day I went was a mildly hot day and we had cover from the sun until the last act. It would be nice to have more sun cover for the audience. Otherwise no other complaints!

One of the best regional theaters in the country in my opinion, Saw a wonderful version of 'A Winter's tale' if you love live theater, head to spring Green, Wisconsin.

Great performance! We went to a rare morning performance, with lots of well behaved high school and college students. (Good job, teachers!) 85 degrees and some seats were in the sun for the entire show. Take a hat and sunscreen if seeing a day time performance.

Wisconsin Riverside Resort, Inc. is a charming riverside retreat offering rustic cabins and a range of activities for guests. Visitors can enjoy camping with friends and family, rent canoes, tubes or kayaks to relax on the picturesque Wisconsin River, and savor gluten-free meals at the on-site restaurant. The resort's location in the Wisconsin River Valley makes it an ideal base for exploring attractions like the American Players Theatre and the House on the Rock.
We had such a fantastic experience here that we’ve already booked two weeks for next summer! Plenty of water fun with tubes, kayaks, and more. We enjoyed walking our dog across the river to the bank for a cool walk. The garbage and bathroom facilities are accessible and spotless. There’s a great dining area for groups, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Their on-site store has a nice selection of goodies. The sites are well-maintained; even with our late booking, we got a pull-through site close to the lodge and parking. The sites are a bit close, but still manageable with our 36' Class A and Wrangler. All the neighbors were friendly, making the whole stay even better.

Stopped for lunch while in town. Was blown away with the view from restaurant. Sat outside on a nice summer day. Beautiful place! Food was great. Bar was amazing! Will definitely be back to camp.

We only had dinner there. The staff was friendly and efficient. We liked the menu selections for both food and drinks. Our food good and the view is beautiful.

The rv park is very nice, right on the Wisconsin River. Full hook ups. Wide and level sites with cement patio and picnic table. The staff here is fantastic! Stephanie, the Recreation Manager and Gina, Campground Staff, both are very client service focused. We enjoyed our stay here!

Bad experience with a group that used for years. Ordered medium rare steak sandwich, received a steak sandwich with a black burned color ,literally with no flavor. I am not a complainer normally, but group was astonished when a showed them the steak color. I mentioned it to waitress and was told it was my problem since restaurant policy is not to replace when you take bite out of it. I obviously did not eat, and waitress got furious when I gave a low tip. Our group will never return to Riverside...
Ronald A — Google review
Restaurant and bar offer tasty food and drinks. Campground is clean and orderly with full hookups and summer time activities. I would have given more stars, but the public laundry and bathrooms would be great if the change machine in the laundry were stocked and operating. This is the second year in a row that I went in to shower and couldn't get change. Office was closed. Really a bush league way to run a for profit amenity. I spent 75 cents waiting for warm water. I can run down to govenor Dodge where my state sticker will get me hot showers.
Dave — Google review
Had lunch on Saturday and had a terrific meal. Service was great, as were our meals. Enjoyed a drink outside on the patio and enjoyed the view of the Wisconsin River. We’ll be back soon!!!
Jon P — Google review
The campground reservation was simple, but pricey. When arriving, we were promptly greeted but once our tent site was assigned we were slightly disappointed. Small sights, few electrical plug ins, no grill set ups, and far from the activities. I would suggest booking ahead, and making sure they're not too busy, especially around the holiday season.

Wow!! It's been years since I have been here! The little deer farm has grown! No deer anymore but is a great place for lots of country items. Pies, canned goods yard decor and tons more! I miss the deer but was told many people who came to visit didn't treat the animals well so shame on them for ruining such a wonderful aspect of Pecks. But do stop in now there is so many hard to find and handmade items you won't leave empty handed!

Bought a bag of sweet corn for $25. (It was maybe 6 dozen) Went to shuck it and it was full of worms! Maybe got 10 good pieces. Cooked it up and it was horrible! Worse corn ever! Had to throw it all away! Called and talked to them and they said to come get another bag. I am 1 hr from them so i said NO i was not driving back up there. (The corn was for a fish fry) Asked for a refund and they said NO we don't do that. I would not give this business another dime. In this day and age there are other businesses that will stand behind their product. I would never recommend this place ever!!! They should get 0 stars!

What an amazing place to see. So colorful, so creative, and so wholesome. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is it is WAY too over priced, period.

I stopped while on a motorcycle trip. They have a ton of things to see and buy. There are fun things for kids to do there. I would go again for sure.
Jeff M — Google review
Very cute place. I loved all the metal artwork available to purchase. And my kids loved all the assorted candies to buy. The petting zoo was an unexpected bonus. The bathroom was acceptable (at least it flushed?) but I guess they don't want foot traffic just to use the facilities. Worth the stop if you are in the area.
Amy D — Google review
Peck’s is such a fun stop! The petting zoo is adorable, the lawn ornaments are so unique (but expensive) and the candy/chocolate/fudge selection is out of this world. They’ve also got fresh produce, dried fruit, nuts, and even plants and succulents. A must-visit see if you’re driving thru Spring Green!
Monique — Google review
Very large variety of homemade goods in a large variety of flavors too! Pickles, jams, jellies, spreads, asparagus, beans, old fashioned gum & candy, fresh produce, frozen meat, and so much more!Plus they have a very large selection of beautiful metal art decorations in all sizes, shapes, colors and patterns and so much more! They also have a petting zoo that you can visit as well! If you're on a long trip I highly recommend you make this a stop for stretching your legs, giving the kiddos (even the grown up kids) something fun to do to break up the long ride & definitely buy some of the fresh food they have!
Michele L — Google review
We have loved coming here for years as part of an annual family trip. We arrived today and the animals are gone and it is overgrown with nothing to do anymore. The train ride was sitting out back and not running......I don't believe we will be back.

Last Leaf Public House (formerly Freddy Valentines) is a charming eatery located in a historic former bank, offering a cozy atmosphere and delicious gastropub fare. The ornate bar and TVs for sports add to the inviting ambiance. Guests have raved about the incredible food, locally sourced meats, and refreshing drinks like the Cranberry Mule.
We had an amazing dinner at Last Leaf! We had very limited time before our show at American Players Theatre, but the staff was very familiar with that problem and made it work; they gave us menus right away and had us order while we waited for our table, and they kept us posted on the wait - they were all pleasant, helpful and efficient. When we were sat, our food and drinks arrived immediately and it was all very good. Great food options for the GF and vegetarian people and a beautifully restored historic building with a cool vibe. I will definitely be back when I return to Spring Green!

My Wife and I ate here for lunch for the 1st time and couldn't have been more impressed. Great Beer cheese soup and the burgers perfect. Now let's talk homemade fries, BEST IVE EVER HAD! The staff was as cool as it gets and the atmosphere was very comfortable. My only problem was that I didn't get a chance to try everything on the Menu. We can't wait to go back!

Stayed in Spring Green for the weekend and this was our first dinner after 7 hours of driving. IT WAS WORTH IT. Beautiful atmosphere, our waitress was so lovely with suggestions and service. And the food is out of this world good. From the stellar grilles cheese to the catfish special that literally melted in tour mouth!!

This was my first meal in wisconsin on a 4 day solo trip. I agree with their website that they are understaffed but there service was good, I felt taken care of. I had a cucumber cosmo, Brussel sprouts app and their flatbread pizza special. The pizza was amazing. I think also important to note that a lot of the people working there seemed to younger people, teenagers and they were great.
Amber R — Google review
Excellent food and cool atmosphere in a well-renovated old bank. Nice outdoor patio space. Drinks were a tad weak, staff seemed a bit disorganized, and the cook yelling out orders from the kitchen at the top of his lungs (to the point I physically jumped nearly every time) was SUPER annoying, but we'd give it another whirl. Pictured: trout dip appetizer (DELISH), bourbon mule, fish fry, fancy grilled cheese add ham, and sweet potato fries (crispy and flavorful).

The decor is very nice. Historic feel with modern upgrades. The food is really good, blackened salmon was really good. It can be a bit pricey but a good place for a more formal dinner. They have a bar area as well as multiple dinning area's. Friendly staff.

I woke up the next morning and the word brisket was the first thing out of my mouth. We went on an off season Friday night and they were packed. Attentive, genuine wait staff was fast and knowledgeable. We ordered the farm fresh salad and added a protein. We both ordered brisket and it came in a cup on the side. AMAZING! Photo was taken in a very dim lit area.

I was pretty skeptical when we came in, and actually anti-Freddy Valentines when the menu didn’t have cheese curds (my one requirement provided to the person choosing our lunch spot). In spite of starting by having to overcome my admittedly unfair pissy mood, they blew me away. The Reuben was incredible, and the sweet potato fries were so good I can’t put together a description. I got to taste everyone else’s food, everything was great. It’s obvious they really put a lot of care into the food and I’m really glad we stopped there for lunch.

Farmers' market
Peck's Farm Market East is a must-visit destination every autumn. It offers a variety of attractions, including a free petting zoo, farmers' market, and play area suitable for all ages. The store sells an impressive range of products such as pumpkins in different sizes, large mums, decorative corn, apples, cider, caramel apples, vegetables, pastries cookies and unique candies. One should not miss out on their delicious apple cider slushies.
Has a great petting zoo and play ground for the kids. We love coming every fall because they have cute haunted houses set up for the kids. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Always a must stop on our way home from Boscobel. The grandkids love to feed the goats and animals.
Thomas M — Google review
What an experience for everyone. You can feed the animals and even pet them. I didn't get photos of the deer as I was too busy feeding them. The peacock was absolutely beautiful. The miniature ponies were so cute. A must visit!
Ronda M — Google review
Forget about the rest of these reviews about the store and how it was nice for a family day out. The way these animals are treated is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I went to Pecks and went through the terrible excuse of a petting zoo. All of the animals were begging for food and were giving nothing other then the corn people buy to feed them. All of the animals from the goats to the huge cows and elk were given a dog sized bowl for water. almost every animals ribs were showing and were just simply begging for just some attention. I cannot believe that this place hasn’t been shut down for animal neglect. No animal deserves to be treated like that. The people running this place should be ashamed of themselves. i’ve posted photos of the cow and deer in their conditions

Our favorite place to take the kids! They love feeding all of the animals-especially the goats. The market has lots of goods, kids especially love the room with toys-of course. They have beautiful-realistic stuffed animals! 🆆🅸🅻🅳🅴🆁'🆂 6 month photos wouldn't have been 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕕 without them! 🦝🐻🦊🦅 They sell delicious honey combs, ice cream, cookies, amish made food and more. Great place for family fun and photos! Everyone is always so friendly and kind!
Taylor R — Google review
We didnt get there early enough to go inside, but the outside of this place is awesome! We watched a goat being born not two feet from us. There were plenty of babies running around. The animals are friendly, and have a lot of personality. A very unique area, definitely worth the visit! Hopefully the next time we're in the area we can stop in and get some good fruits and veggies. I recommend stopping here if you're in the area. There are Pokestops and a gym here.

We try to visit Peck's East every fall. We love seeing the animals and always find something we HAVE to buy in the store. They sell all sizes of pumpkins from mini to gigantor, large mums and decorative corn. They have apples, cider, Caramel apples, vegetables, pastries and cookies, harder to find candy, and so much more. The Apple Cider slushies are so good! Even when it's busy the lines move quickly and the staff always friendly. Such a fun place for kids and adults!

It was very muddy due to recent rains. Animals were fun to see and feed. Store had good produce and gifts. Owners son was very kind and friendly.

Seasonal park with panoramic views from bluff hiking trails, plus public campgrounds & canoeing.
Beautiful state park!! So much history and amazing scenery!! I spent over an hour just observing the magnificent nature scapes around me!! So worth it!! 💯💯
Steven M — Google review
This is a smaller state park that I didn't know existed. Being on the river, you get high long views on certain areas, river side areas, and tons of mosquitoes. The hiking is relatively easy, with the hike from the tunnel to the top of the tower being the hardest and steepest. That trail also is pretty tight, and the steps they have on it could use a little tlc.
DeathofBelief — Google review
Extremely buggy and the toilets were very dirty and full.of spiders. I i go to many state parks and hike consistently so I am not afraid of bugs but it was insane, I have never had state park toilets as filthy as these, no toilet paper as well. The trails were great. The history was fantastic and that is the reason for the 3 stars. The other area of the park was nice green area. Being that it was a very wet summer I understand the mosquitoes but they were beyond unbearable.
Katie O — Google review
What an incredible place to enjoy a view of the Wisconsin River and learn about real Wisconsin history from the 1830s. Lots of stairs, but so worth it when you get to the top. I absolutely loved the historical exhibit of the shot tower.
Christine B — Google review
Very steep hike up to see the tower but the history is so cool that you MUST go and see it. Also, an amazing view from the top!
Audrey — Google review
One of Wisconsin's smaller state parks, but still worth the visit! Located near Spring Green, Tower Hill State Park tells the story of Wisconsin's mining past. The reproduction of the original smelter house allows visitors to see how lead from the mines of southwest Wisconsin would have been processed in the state's early years. The trails around the smelter house provide for a moderate hike and allow visitors to view the Wisconsin River basin for miles in either direction.
William P — Google review
Great views! The trail is steep but I'm 42 and out of shape and managed it okay enough to enjoy it.
Lisa T — Google review
This place needs some love! We enjoyed the hike but there is really only one trail and not a lot of options for hikes. The one that they did have needs to be cleaned up and fixed. It had a really cool historical aspect and there were a lot of maps on the trail so you wouldn’t get lost. The view was gorgeous and the hike was delightful.

Visitors to Peck's Landing are strongly advised to ensure the safety of non-adults and weak swimmers by providing them with life jackets, which can be obtained free of charge at the landing. Numerous incidents have occurred where individuals were swept away by the river, making it crucial to prioritize safety. Rule #1 is always wearing a life jacket, while rule #2 suggests positioning oneself upstream in order to intervene if someone is being carried away.
So easy to put in your kayak or canoe and lots of parking. Then enjoy the lazy Wisconsin river and take in the amazing scenery. Just arrange a pickup downriver.
Kurt K — Google review
Great sandy beach and place to get in and out of the river. Nice cliff views as well.
Chris M — Google review
We use this landing as our end point for a kayaking trip every year. Nice sandy beach to pull kayaks/canoes up. Plenty of parking and good room to pull multiple vehicles around close to the beach to load up gear. Has a nice loaner life jacket stand as well. No running water to rinse off or wash hands, only port-a-pottys...not full bathrooms.

First time there on our way ho.e from house on the rock. Beautiful and would like to come back for some kayaking.

First time, not bad fishing the sand bars, got skunked though. No toilet paper in either bathroom. Luckily had paper towels in car. Bad maintenance.

Located on Winsted Street, Gallery Art on 23 showcases the creations of 25 artists and features the studio of glassblower Colleen Ott. The gallery offers a diverse range of art including glass, metal, clay, photography, and paintings. Visitors can expect to find unique pieces not commonly seen elsewhere. Customers have praised the beautiful variety of art available at the gallery and have highlighted their positive interactions with Colleen Ott.
I'm not usually a glass connoisseur, but after stopping in here after a flat tire, I could't help myself. I filled the car with glass and had an amazing conversation with the owner/curator/artist that really set me on the right trajectory in life. Do yourself a favor and stop into Gallery Art on 23 - you will, definitely, absolutely, not regret it!
Craig W — Google review
We were very intrigued by the items outside and were excited about seeing what this art studio had to offer. We had planned on spending money to support this local business. When we walked in, the the person there demanded we wear a mask and we immediately left. You cannot patronize this business without wearing a mask. Every business can be run however they want, but we wouldn't have made the trip had we known. Very disappointed.

Beautiful variety of art. It is mostly a stunning variety of glass art, but there is also metal, clay, photography and paintings. Unique art you don't see everywhere else!

Restaurant
Homecoming is a charming restaurant located in a former elementary school building, offering locally sourced and seasonal food with a focus on pizza and handmade pasta. The establishment provides gluten-free options for both pizza and main courses, such as pork chops and New York Strip. Guests can enjoy their meals indoors or in the garden, with the option for takeout as well. The restaurant's owners are also opening a new establishment called Reunion.
Homecoming is a gem in a small town! So fortunate to find this quaint, unique restaurant for a Sunday evening meal. Fresh, local ingredients used. Dishes we ordered came promptly and were delicious. Friendly staff. Beautiful garden setting outdoors. Will certainly return!
Martha A — Google review
Everything was exceptional. Service, energetic vibe, and memorable food. The pork chop was prepared to perfection, tender, tasty and pan seared. The pasta stuffed with mushrooms and ricotta was a grand slam, hit-it-out-of-the-ballpark home run. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Easily the best restaurant in Southwest Wisconsin.
Darren W — Google review
Homecoming is such a special restaurant! I recently had my wedding rehearsal dinner there, and Kyle went out of his way to make sure the night was perfect. We were able to create a custom dinner menu, complete with their wood-fired pizzas that everyone enjoyed watching being made out back, and the food was beyond delicious. Honestly the best butternut squash ravioli I had ever had, and trust me I have had this dish many-a-time. Besides the amazing food, the drink selection was fantastic and the entire staff were top notch. I wished I lived in Spring Green to eat here all the time : )
Kelsi E — Google review
Playing Kenny Chesney outside almost lost them a star especially the cover of Tracy Chapman. The setting of eating outside was splendid. We were there for barbecue night. The collard greens were delicious. My companions loved the Mac and cheese side too. The smoked sausage, ribs, and chicken were all tasty. The refillable eclectic water krafts are nice. The lone bathroom seems inadequate but maybe there are more hidden somewhere.
Mike E — Google review
This place was excellent! A hidden gem in Spring Green. We found out the prices were appropriate for the quality and tastiness of the food. Everyone in our group was very happy with our experience here and look forward to making the trip again.
Tooli H — Google review
We had the pleasure of trying Homecoming for the first time recently. The pasta, wood-fired pizza, and the turmeric chocolate cake we had were all phenomenal. Our hotel told us it’s common to see owners at the SG farmer’s market picking up what’s in season to incorporate into the menu. This place is a gem and makes SG even more special.
Nicole D — Google review
Such a neat place. The food is SO GOOD - obviously made by talented, experienced chefs. It's a different concept in that you do all your ordering at the counter and they bring it out to your table. Grab your own plates and silverware and head outside in beautiful weather, or stay inside the old schoolhouse. The menu changes often depending on what local produce is available but their woodfired pizzas seem to be a staple (at least in the summer time). Picture is their Roasted Squash Toast.
Candace F — Google review
Fabulous food, atmosphere, and service! We were lucky enough to have perfect weather to sit outside amongst the butterfly garden and low-key music. Between the 4 of us we had 2 bottles of wine, 2 cucumber salads, an olive dish, sausage cabbage appetizer, and 3 pizzas. We had leftovers, but everything was great! Thank you so much to the staff for making our first visit so fantastic! We look forward to returning soon and will also gladly sit inside the beautiful dinning room.

Spring Green General Store is a versatile spot that offers grocery items, a cafe with allergen-free options, and a variety of adorable retail products. The store serves up delicious sandwiches and burritos, including gluten-free and vegan choices. It's housed in a converted 1910 cheese warehouse and features an attached retail shop offering clothing, jewelry, groceries, toys, alpaca socks, affirmation pen sets, and puzzles.
This is a hidden gem. The food was amazing. I had an amazing meatless frito pie. The items in the store are unique and fun. If you are in Spring Green, this is a must stop for lunch and/or shopping.

I’ve always loved this general store — it’s such a local gem with a unique selection and a charming atmosphere. I was really excited about what I picked out on my last visit, but the lady at checkout was honestly awful. Her attitude made me not even want to buy the things I had in my hands. It’s so disappointing because I hate writing a bad review about a place I like, but this experience has stuck with me for days. Really hope it was just a one-time thing because I want to keep loving this store.

We choose to eat here before going to House on the Rock. This was perfect!! Love the store and restaurant. This is the perfect store to find a gift for a loved one or to treat yourself!! Put this at the top of your list when visiting Spring Green The food was delicious, and the people were friendly! I ordered the quiche of the day a sausage, pepper and zucchini with Barbeque Chicken soup! I've never had anything like this before but it was fantastic. We also ordered a salad and cream of mushroom soup with rose. Everything was excellent and easily priced.

The corn chowder was fabulous as was the chicken salad sandwich. After lunch, we shopped - such fun stuff! Well selected and good quality women's vacation or everyday clothing too. Was there with a granddaughter, but this is a super lunch spot for couples or a group of friends

A lovely quaint restaurant where I've always had great food, and in addition, a fun gift store to shop. Option of gluten-free bread for sandwiches! And, these staff really know how to make great coffee.

I love coming here for breakfast on the weekends, but the whole menu is tasty. Every time I have somebody visiting in town this is my food spot and they always get hooked after one meal! The service is usually pretty fast, but even without that it's a great place to either just wait at your table or walk around and explore the store.
Omle E — Google review
Fun little place. The food is good. Nice place to enjoy lunch on the back porch and then shop their store.

So quaint and cozy but still had a lovely Saturday morning busyness to it. We got the horse radish radish scramble (really good and just a hint of the horse radish), Jimmy Dean scramble, a quesodilla cinnamon today, tea and coffee and all of it was delicious. The Opal Man of Spring Green is a charming local jewelry shop known for its exquisite collection of opal pieces. Visitors can find unique and stunning opal jewelry that makes for perfect gifts. The store is run by Tim Morgan, an expert opal cutter who provides personalized assistance to customers. While the shop's size may be small, the quality and beauty of the jewelry are undeniable.
I had some very old Opals handed down to me from my grandmother and wanted to find someone who knew opal very well., Someone that could help me decide what to do with them. I looked online and did some research, found the opal man in Spring green Wisconsin... I sent some pictures of my opals to them then I called and talked with a gentleman by the name of Tim Morgan., Who happens to be one of the Opal cutters. We set up a date and time for him to take a look at my stones in person and to see what we could come up with... My husband and I took a day trip to check it out. It's such a cute little shop. We went in ask for Tim and he helped us right away, I had a lot of questions he answered every one. 🤗 Bottom line.... My Mexican fire opal needed a little tender loving care and needed be placed into a pendant, One of the ladies who worked there showed me a beautiful pendant and It was perfect. We also decided to keep the white Opal in the ring it was already in but 1st shine it up and fix the prongs as there were only 3 holding my precious opal.. To think I could have lost it!.. I brought it in as a pinky ring.. Tim made a suggestion to size it up to fit my right hand ring finger, so I did. Tim Morgan was so helpful from the 1st moment to the last and everyone that helped me from that store was absolutely wonderful.. I know they have another store in Lake Geneva Wisconsin, My girlfriend and I will be making a trip there from Minnesota Most likely this summer. Thank you very much for all that you've done I absolutely love my Opal pieces.

Beautiful little brick building with an Opal jewelry store inside. I never knew there were so many different kinds, from different countries. All above my pay grade..but the employees still were were so friendly and helpful to me, my son and grandson.

I absolutely love my ring from The Opal Man! They have the most beautiful selection of genuine Opals. It is clear that each piece created here is made with love and superior attention to detail. I purchased my ring more than a year ago, and recently I bent it up pretty badly. I live in another state, so I wasn't able to drop my ring off in person. I communicated via email correspondence with Mark at The Opal Man, and he was able to give me all the information I needed to send my ring and payment to their studio for repairs and refurbishing. The cost of repairs was less than Mark had originally estimated, and they were able to accept a personal check. I just got my refurbished ring in the mail this morning, and I am just floored with the quality of craftsmanship and care devoted to bringing my ring back to life. I hope to visit The Opal Man every time I travel to that part of the country.

Amazing store, amazing owners and staff! I am now the happy owner of a beautiful white Australian opal. Thank you!!

Bought a ring last fall for $400, all the plating came off within a month, then the opal fell out. Finally just remounted the stone with cement and it just cracked in half when I picked the ring up. Not impressed. I wish I would have taken more action to get a refund early on but I thought it was fixable.

They have a coffee shop area also, but only one table for sitting with your coffee, so more of a gift shop vibe than a cafe.

I stopped in while rolling through town to get a cold brew, it was very good! I didn’t expect them to sell wine, they had a good selection of local wine! I asked one of the ladies for her opinion, I ended up trying a wine that neither she nor the other woman at the counter had tried. They requested a review of the wine, so I’m here to tell y’all that this wine was AWESOME! Thank you ladies for your kindness and good vibes

We go here mainly as a wine store (they do sell other things) and have always found the staff to be super helpful and knowledgeable with their decent selection of wines. Fun place to visit.

The coffee is excellent, as well as the service and uniqueness of the shop itself. Stay for the conversation, and you may find secrets to this hidden gem.

By far the best Subway, I've been to. Nice people, great food, that's significant, great community.

Ordered a chicken bacon ranch protein bowl (a salad with double meat) and got a chicken bacon salad with a dash of lettuce. I would have said something; however, it was ordered and picked up by someone else who did question this but was assured it was right..... common guys! The bowl was also (MAYBE) a 1/4 full, when typically it is touching the top. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I just left after dining in with my mom today. We had sat in the parking lot finishing a phone call for about ten minutes before entering, that is how I know no one had been in there. We walked in, there was no hello, and absolutely no pleasantries from them the entire time. Throughout my order, I tried to be happy and plesant as anyone can be having a bad day. I said my pleases, thank yous, and tried not to ask for too much. I asked for extra tomatoes and they were mostly just right ontop of eachother with big old gaps between, whatever I guess. Then I got mayo, all plastered in the middle towards the crack with about an inch of bareness on each side (6 inch sub, really?) Maybe I am abnormal, but I would like each topping with each bite. Thus, I asked for extra mayo (without communicating the issue, oops!) Well, I got plenty of mayo in the same spot. I said that's all for that one, thank you. Nothing, not acknowledged in the slightest (as per my entire order) So, by my moms sub I was pretty snippy and rude. She got a swipe of honey mustard and a swipe of mayo, is there no inbetween? The lady leaned on the counter while making and (failing to) wrap my moms six inch sub. It was so painful to watch that my mom offered to help. I don't know if she got offended, but she huffed and put the sticker away. Hello? We still needed it wrapped? Im glad that it didnt have to travel, because it wouldn't have been able to. We asked for a bag, and Im not sure what happened there, but it took forever and my mom wound up gathering all the food in her arms. We then searched for a table, but each one of them was dirty AND sticky. What have yall been doing? NO ONE had came in for quite some time, there was only one pickup order made, and I would imagine it took quite some time to dirty each table. We were talking about it quite loudly and had to ask for a table to be cleaned. One of the employees was just standing around, but he did not do it. Instead, we had to wait (understandable though!). Finally, we were grateful to just eat, free of these awful employees. Well, when we washed our hands there were no paper towels in the bathroom either! We wouldve told them nicely so no other customer had to suffer, but unfortunately they hid in the back and giggled for most of our meal (until a new person came in and they had to take their order). It's good to know that they have a personality, just not with us! They were this way with each person who came in, not just us. Unfortunate. Spring Green Subway used to be my favorite spot after visiting my grandparents. In the past, the workers had always been SO kind and the cookies were just phenomenal. Appearantly, not anymore! (the cookies were still pretty good... although they only had two macadamia cookies). I'm bummed out and quite upset with this experience.
Samara C — Google review
The most soggy sub ever and not even put together properly honestly not even eating this one.
AimBot710 — Google review
1 worker was being bitchy ever since we walked and was not polite at all. Sneezed on my food and when i said have a “good day” when i was getting ready to leave. he just said “ok”.
Holdan G — Google review
I will not be revisiting this subway. The amount of lettuce and tomato they put on a sandwich is pathetic. Isn't lettuce the cheapest thing you can put on a sandwich ? The lettuce was brown and old. It didn't even cover the bread. I asked for more lettuce and the worker hardly put any more. Pathetic sandwich. This used to be a great Subway.
Tyffany A — Google review
I always order and Italian sub or the beast, they got my order wrong and wanted me to pay for another one First, you don't argue with the customer especially when they are a regular patron And instead saying I'm sorry how my i help you,she didn't do that and told me that was what I ordered Never returning there again

Restaurant
The Shed is a cozy and unpretentious bar and restaurant in Spring Green, offering American comfort food and a selection of local beers. The atmosphere is described as homey, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the town or visiting nearby attractions like Taliesin. Visitors have praised the friendly wait staff who provide excellent service even during busy times. The menu offers a variety of dishes, with past patrons reminiscing about enjoying fresh salads and well-prepared meals over the years.
I did not expect such a good place! We were traveling out in the western part of the state, and just picked this place randomly. And boy were we pleasantly surprised! The appetizers were great, and staff were awesome, and the main course was delicious! It's not the fastest place you can get food, but, it is WELL worth the wait!
Chris B — Google review
We had a wonderful experience here. It was our first time coming to this establishment. Our service was prompt and friendly. The menu isn't too long, which makes it easier to select something. The food was fresh and had wonderful flavor. I had the Philly sandwich and my husband the steak wrap. We would definitely come here again when we're in the area.
Jodi O — Google review
Had the perch for fish fry! Was a tiny bit dry but still had flavor so still a solid 4.5! Our waitress, Bobbi, was pleasant and even offered dessert! Love the metal prints and the open concept bar. Will definitely be back!
Natasha P — Google review
Unfortunately not good food. Nachos were cold, unmelted, and flavorless. Beer battered loaded fries came out soggy and the quality of beer cheese was ick. Old fashioneds were a 2/5⭐️ lacking flavor, but at least they were cheap! We skipped ordering a main even though we were STARVING because the quality of the appetizers was so bad, which I’m glad we did because the burgers on the tables next to us came out looking sad. Service was friendly though and the bar was packed with people drinking, so that’s a good sign!

Never judge a book from its cover, a saying as old as time. This place has wonderful service and great food! I really loved the small details and the overall esthetic of the bar.

We had a group of folks where the number kept changing but they were flexible. When we got there, our table was ready. Service was great, food was great and fast, and prices were reasonable. Strongly recommended
Marshall N — Google review
Had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! Even though it was the end of the season and they weren’t serving outside, they still let us sit outdoors with our dogs, which was such a thoughtful touch. Elena, our server, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The food was top-notch—we had the bruschetta, bang bang shrimp, and the hot honey pizza (which was amazing!). The atmosphere outside was incredible and made for a perfect evening. They also mentioned Thursday nights are “local night” with a band, which draws a great crowd. Five stars all the way—thank you for the great service and delicious food!
Tori T — Google review
We were here for lunch on Friday. I had the burger of the week which was a jalapeño popper burger and my husband had the cheeseburger from the regular menu. I had onion rings and he had cheese curds. Both meals were excellent! I also had the raspberry vanilla Martini. Also excellent. I love the redo of the inside, very pleasant place to eat. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Will certainly return.

The Bank Restaurant & Wine Bar is a new establishment taking over the historic White School. Formerly known as Homecoming, this energetic restaurant is now called Reunion and is set to open by June 15. While reviews have been mixed, some patrons have enjoyed their meals, with one praising the crispy and juicy pork dish as one of the best they've ever had.
I only ate here once. The online review I read were mixed with the good and bad. However I am pretty happy with what I got. The pork I ordered was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, without the "pork stink". It was among the best I ever had in US.

Live music venue
Bar
Concert hall
The Sh*tty Barn is a seasonal live-music venue located in a barn, offering indie concerts from May to October. Known for its "Sh*tty Barn Sessions" on Wednesday nights, the venue provides a unique and intimate experience with great acts. Guests can bring their own food and chairs while enjoying affordable drinks and excellent service. However, tickets sell out quickly due to the venue's popularity.
A total jem. One of those out of the way, but worth it places to travel to. Where you immediately feel welcomed Good drinks and great bands.

Staff and other fellow guests were super welcoming. Great vibes. the venue was cozy and intimate. The website has everything you may need if you have questions. Thanks everyone for the great experience!
Ella R — Google review
Small open-air venue; a very rustic tiny barn that has had greats perform here. Tickets sell out very quickly. Purchase tickets in advance or call ahead the day of before heading there! Usually it's bring your own seating (line chairs up by the door and then when doors "open" take your chair inside for your "seat"), but not always so it's suggested you call ahead if you're not a regular. Music can also be heard outside so no worries if you didnt get a place inside, but would need to peek in the side windows to see the performance. Food truck normally on site (water and soda too). Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages near barn entrance. Performance poster are also available there, not at merch table. They too sell out very quickly. Enjoy roasting marshmallows (supplies etc provided by the venue) around the outdoor firepit. Big beautiful fireflies will also entertain you. Lay back and enjoy the abundance of stars too. Variety of bug sprays are conveniently scattered on outdoor tables. Although the venue is highly recommended, it can be quite warm (no AC) and may be difficult for wheelchairs. Bathrooms are (clean) port-a-pottys. Located in the country in beautiful area with rolling hills and rivers nearby so the drive alone is worth it (check out the nearby little town of Lodi)! I had the privilege of not only visiting this venue but also seeing, "Bandits on the Run". Check them out! They'd be great any and everywhere. Can't wait to see them again!
Cindy K — Google review
Positives.. Unique venue and resonable sound system. Good beer and quality snacks. Some interesting viewing areas too. Negatives.. People are allowed to come early and place any size camping chair in the venue and then go do whatever they want until show time. Most of them sat there while the band played and looked at their phone. The show we saw was a good energy, dance and have fun kinda band. But you can't because everyone is sitting down. Only us weirdos in the far back stand up and it's not as much fun to dance back there. I'll probably go again but that is a huge Negative in my opinion. Some shows should be standing first and seats in the back and other shows seats first and standing in the back.
Dennis — Google review
Charming, intimate venue makes for a unique concert experience. I loved seeing one of my favorite groups so up close and personal. The sound was great, too. People set up their lawn chair so early inside, that if you get there 30 minutes before the opener begins, the venue is basically already filled up with lawn chairs, and your chair might have to go somewhere with an obstructed view. Bathrooms are porta potties out back (at least for the general public). I wish there was hand-washing, since there was a food truck present (I wouldn’t want to handle food after using the bathrooms & not being able to wash hands).
Lauren B — Google review
I love this concert venue. Small, up close and personal. They get some great acts here too, but the shows sell out fast due to the small capacity.
Ryan K — Google review
Awesome place. Love the atmosphere. Love the food trucks. Love the people. Love the music. 10/10 would recommend.
Steve O — Google review
One of my favorite places to see a show. A very unique and intimate experience. Bring your own chairs (only a few are provided by the venue) and you are allowed to bring in your own food but the grub from Eno Farms is excellent. Tickets sell out fast.

The two ladies working at the shop, 10/7/25, were super unfriendly bordering on crabby. I asked a question and she acted as it was inconvenience. The merchandise was basically pricey Lands End returns.

I've shopped at the both the Spring Green and New Glarus store many, many times and always find good buys. However, yesterday was a real problem. I finally remembered to take my 4 punch cards for previously purchases. All 4 were about 3/4 punched.. They refused to take my 4 cards and total them for my credit because "it would be a waste of paper for the unused portion of the carsds.. Oh my goodness, I can't imagine what that would cost the store. I offered to pay for the paper. Was refused. WTH
Judy R — Google review
Every experience that I have there is mediocre. This new location is smaller and lacks the ambiance of the older store. The prices are decent but nothing groundbreaking. Items are always well organized. I dislike that there isn't a public bathroom though, it's very off-putting if you wanted to spend a lot of time there you need to seek a bathroom elsewhere.
Roman O — Google review
Not worth the effort. Neatly displayed, but the inventory is lame. Also, the clerks did nothing but talk to each other the entire time I was there, and they were rude and seemed bothered when I ask them a question. I won't waste my time returning to Bargain Nook, Spring Green, WI again.

We like the 'lesser traveled' places so we gave the western section a shot. Amazing views after scrambling up the bluffs.

It was a nice hike, but the trail wasn’t clearly marked and said “ends here”. I clearly didn’t read the whole sign or maybe still don’t know if I was supposed to go down the trail.

This is a really special place. I've lived in Wisconsin most of my life and am often impressed by all this beautiful state has to offer. It was a treat walking the preserve with my mom this Mother's Day. Thank you to the volunteers who keep this desert prairie alive and well!!

Beautiful place. Wish I would of known about this hidden gem earlier than just last week. I didn't see any cactus or any of the other things that make this area so unique. I am sure it is just because of the time of the year. Definitely going back in late spring to watch the cacti bloom and then during the summer to try and see the animals that are just native to this area. The hike was incredible. Beautiful views and scenery. I think we were about a week early for full colors but they were turning quite nicely. Definitely a worthwhile trip to Spring Green.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Spring Green Preserve State Park, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. Nestled in the heart of nature, this park offers a serene and rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Here's my review of the park: First and foremost, the natural beauty of Spring Green Preserve is simply breathtaking. The park encompasses vast stretches of lush greenery, rolling hills, and meandering trails that wind through dense forests. The landscape is a delightful blend of woodlands, prairies, dessert, and stunning rock formations, making every step a visual treat. The park boasts an extensive network of well-maintained trails that cater to hikers of all levels. Whether you're a beginner looking for a leisurely stroll or an experienced trekker seeking a challenge, there are options to suit everyone. I particularly enjoyed the diverse terrain and the variety of scenic viewpoints along the trails, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding countryside. One of the highlights of Spring Green Preserve is its unique geological formations, including the magnificent limestone cliffs. These natural wonders not only add to the park's charm but also provide opportunities for rock climbing enthusiasts to test their skills. Additionally, there are several interpretive signs and educational displays that provide fascinating insights into the park's geological history, further enriching the visitor experience. Wildlife enthusiasts will also be pleased to know that Spring Green Preserve is teeming with a diverse range of plant and animal species. From colorful wildflowers and singing birds to elusive mammals and reptiles, there's always something to discover. I was lucky enough to spot deer grazing in the meadows and catch glimpses of various bird species during my visit. Moreover, the park offers excellent amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There are well-maintained picnic areas with ample seating and shaded spots, perfect for a family outing or a peaceful lunch surrounded by nature. Clean restroom facilities and easily accessible parking areas were also available, making the overall experience hassle-free. Furthermore, the park's staff and volunteers deserve special mention for their dedication and friendliness. They were readily available to provide information, answer questions, and offer recommendations, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One thing to note is that while Spring Green Preserve State Park is undoubtedly a gem, it can get quite busy during peak times and weekends. Therefore, it's advisable to plan your visit accordingly and arrive early to secure parking and fully enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. In conclusion, Spring Green Preserve State Park is a true natural paradise that offers a delightful escape into the beauty of the Wisconsin landscape. With its stunning vistas, well-maintained trails, diverse wildlife, and friendly atmosphere, it's a must-visit destination for nature lovers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Whether you're seeking adventure, serenity, or educational experiences, Spring Green Preserve has something to offer for everyone.

Well dang it, the food was so good I forgot to take pics! Seated ourselves in a booth and were promptly greeted and brought coffee. Ordered the rise and shine with a side of hash browns, and the country Benedict With a side of pancakes. The food here is perfect. Exactly what you are looking for when you go to a diner. The service is fast and friendly. The coffee was good and hot. If I lived here, I’d be a regular!

Anita's Cafe was a refreshing little treat. Of course I went there for breakfast. The service was great. Our server was attentive and helpful. I asked for her preference between the Badger Griddle and Hash Griddle. She gave me honest feedback on what she thought. Then they had another lady who went around making sure everyone was topped up on coffee. The atmosphere inside was very relaxed and classic. You have like a little diner side right when you walk in. On the other is their little dinner seating area. After asking the server about her preferences, I went with the Badger Griddle. It was amazing. The mixture of the sausage gravy with the cheddar cheese makes for a great combination. All in all, I would recommend this little cafe for just about anybody. It was a nice time out, and cheap for the quality and amount of food.

I've met my grandparents here a few times as it's on a convenient location. The food is pretty good, nobody has ever been disappointed. However, I don't know if they need to double the size of their kitchen or something? We've waited for over an hour AFTER ordering every time we've been here.

The menu is a very solid one. I love country fried steak and theirs is top three I've ever eaten. I also do not like pancakes, but theirs have something fiercely delicious going on. The garlic curds are the perfect amount of garlic, not over powering. I have yet to have a bad experience there. The food, service, and people that work there are all quite amazing and considerate. I'm 100% going to keep visiting.

Absolutely beautiful little place with a lot of heart behind it, the ladies were super friendly and kind. Even with it being packed (both tourists and locals alike) they were very attentive and didn't miss a thing. Between good prices and great food there isn't anything missing from this little cafe. 100% would make my three hour drive just to eat here again.

They must have made the breakfast portions smaller as we did not receive the larger than average portions others claim to have seen. Basic average quality diner food at above average prices. Up charge for rye toast,up charge for using debit card. We probably won't bother stopping again.
