Wonderful experience! We did the 'Cruising With The Clydesdales' tour. Everyone from our tour guide and tractor driver to the horse handlers were very friendly and super nice. The horses were, of course, beautiful and majestic! The grounds are beautiful as well. We highly recommend a visit! (Oh, and the gift shop has a nice variety of items that are not over priced.)
Patty T — Google review
The tour was great, interesting and informative. The horses were majestic and beautiful. The Dalmatians were a wonderful touch. I grew up around Thoroughbreds and it's amazing how much larger Clydesdales are. In the 70's Schlitz Brewing Company had a 40 Horse Hitch. The horses and Dick Sparrow the person who ran the hitch were all from Iowa, near where I lived, but I was so young I did not get to enjoy them, so it's great to finally be able to do so.

I really wanted to see the Budweiser Clydestales but I didn't want to drive all the way to St. Louis so I searched on Google and found the Warm Springs Ranch! Just a two hour drive from Kansas City, this stunning ranch offers different tours ranging from 20 dollars to high-priced VIP experiences. Literally my childhood dream come true. I went on two different tours and both were quite different in terms of what you get to see and experience! The highlights for me were meeting Stan, seeing foals, hearing the clicking hooves across the pavement and cruising around to see all of these gentle giants. The staff is well informed and make the expereinces interesting and educational! I really enjoyed Marsha as a tour guide rather then the one I had on the previous day (just she had more fun energy). All and all both experiences were fantastic and well worth it. I'm dying to go back in Christmas season to see the ranch then!! Thank you to all the staff there that truly love working with these amazing creatures and allowing us to come visit. Full blog on my catchingkato website to come. Oh and they also have wheel chair accessible parking and tours. The have a cute gift shop, love my new hoodie!

We had such an incredible time. We absolutely loved our tour guide Steve. He answered so many questions and took his time explaining. The ranch is spectacular. The horses were very friendly, not afraid to visit. Just a great experience. Thank you Warm Springs. We loved it.
Sheryl S — Google review
My wife absolutely loves horses, so anytime we have an opportunity to, we visit a horse ranch. This one of course is special since it is the breeding and training facility for the Budweiser Clydesdales. What a cool and storied history of these beautiful animals. And they are just majestic. It was such a great experience to take the tour and interact with the horses.
Andrew S — Google review
While traveling through Missouri, we took a side trip to see the Budweiser Clydesdales at Warm Springs Ranch. It was an amazing experience! To have an opportunity to be up close to these majestic animals was something we will not soon forget. The fact that there were numerous newborn horses on the ground, added to the experience. Of course, the highlight of the day was to see. West Coast hitch parade in front of everyone in attendance. If you have an opportunity to go to warm Springs Ranch, take the time and do it!
Bill M — Google review
Don’t think twice about taking one of their tours. You will be up close with the Clydesdales and learn a lot of really interesting information about the history. The entire staff is amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Sheri C — Google review
We went up to Warm Spring Ranch for the Main Event. It was wonderful. They shared so much information about the Clydesdales and the way the Ranch works. Everything ran smoothly and you got to pet and see all of the animals. It was definitely worth the trip up there.

I have been a member at Hail Ridge Golf Club for 15 years and I absolutely adore this place! The staff is exceptional, providing unparalleled service. Recently, I encountered a tee time issue through a golf website, but the owner swiftly resolved it despite facing challenging circumstances. The pace of play is unbeatable, the course offers a wide range of holes to keep things interesting, and the value for money is outstanding.
For $39 including cart for this gem is absolutely five star! Every green except for one that they are working hard on is in great shape, so ignore any reviews from years past about their greens being crappy. And the guy running the pro shop and course is super cool and nice! Can't beat the location right off of i-70 (but you'd have no idea a highway is nearby) for a great road trip golf pit stop!
Aaron P — Google review
Excellent layout with great contour. Staff was fantastic. Greens rolled great, despite limited mtc troubles.
Bob M — Google review
Fairway was struggling under heat this year. Also, the greens were aerated and tore up, so don’t plan on working on your short game here for the near future. In fact the greens are no fun to putt on right now. No sand traps. Good mix of par 3,4,5s. Water hazards on a few holes. Narrow, but paved cart paths. Holes follow a good flow that was natural to navigate from hole to next tee. Ground on fairways is very hard, so ball bounce is high, for better or worse. Fees seem a bit high for the quality.

Park
Nestled on a serene hilltop, Bell's View Park offers a tranquil escape with breathtaking vistas of the Missouri River. This charming little park holds special significance for families, as it features a bench dedicated to the memory of a beloved daughter who cherished her visits here. The peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained grounds make it an ideal spot for reflection or simply enjoying nature.
This is a wonderful little park. I live next door so if you see me on the front porch stop over and say Hi.

This is a nice quiet small Park situated on a high hill overlooking the Missouri River. The view is great here. It's especially meaningful to my family as our daughter who is now deceased used to go here as often as she could as her just a getaway place. We have placed a bench here in her honor and that's another reason that we go because it brings back fond memories of her.

Morgan Street Park is a charming destination steeped in rich history, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in the past. This park is not only the site of Hannah Cole Fort and the First Battle of Boonville but also holds significance as the location of Missouri's inaugural state fair. Visitors can explore various historical markers, including those commemorating the Second Battle of Boonville, which are strategically placed around the old hospital grounds and at nearby correctional center grounds.

Nestled in the heart of Boonville, Palace Restaurant is a delightful gem that captures the essence of home-cooked meals with a unique Greek twist. This charming eatery exudes a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of the 1960s and 70s, making it an inviting spot for travelers and locals alike. The menu boasts an array of delectable options, from mouthwatering pork chops seasoned to perfection to refreshing Greek salads.
We stopped in for lunch when we were in town and are so glad we did. The atmosphere is cozy and our server was lovely. We noticed that she knew most of her customers by name, which was pretty nice to see. The menu has a great selection and the food was hot and great
JA S — Google review
What a gem. I visited here for dinner with friends as we were traveling in from Kansas City. This a friendly mom-and-pop place with fantastic food. The atmosphere is a throwback to the 1960s and 70s. The menu includes Greek food and Greek versions of American dishes. My pork chop with special Greek seasoning was by far the best pork chop I've ever had, as was the baklava for dessert. All for a very reasonable price.
Clint A — Google review
Great food and fabulous service!! Our group of 5 were there for lunch, and several had the large Greek salad with grilled chicken. Yum!! One ordered the open faced roast beef, and she recommended it. Lovely people!
Toni H — Google review
A cozy local Greek restaurant with plenty of other choices on their menu. I had a Greek salad and their Shish-kabob- both of which were very good. My son enjoyed their whole catfish dinner and my sister liked their clam dinner. My niece had the chicken bites and we all enjoyed mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. Main Street in Boonville is very inviting. Would love to come back and stay at the Hotel Frederick.
Jodi B — Google review
We were welcomed with a friendly greeting as soon as we arrived. The food was great. I had a fantastic pork steak and the macaroni salad on the salad bar was the best I'd ever had.

Very good food. Fast service. Waitress was very polite and helpful.

Very good food here. Glad I stopped in. I loved the Greek salad, the dressing is very tasty.
Roy W — Google review
We had the wife of the owner wait on us. She was most in friendly. Short with us, like she really didn’t want to wait on us. Salad bar was minimal selections and was soaked in water. Livers had old grease smell. The chicken wrap tasted good but the chicken was dry and old. Would not recommend the extra miles. It took to get off I 70.

Fast food restaurant
A&W Restaurant is a delightful fast-food gem that serves up its iconic root beer alongside a menu filled with burgers, chicken, and fries. During my visit, I was impressed by the hardworking staff who managed to keep things running smoothly despite the busy atmosphere. Their friendly demeanor and excellent communication made the experience even more enjoyable. There's something truly nostalgic about sipping on a frosty mug of fresh root beer while indulging in delicious cheese curds next to a cozy fire.
This is a classic A&W location. The food is great and the fresh root beer is unbeatable. We were surprised at how good the chicken tenders were. All in all, we were happy to stop while looking for a place to eat from I-70. It is laid-back, clean, and delicious--probably the break from driving you need.
Brian B — Google review
This is a welcome blast from the past. Nostalgia at it's finest. The food was hot, and fresh. The service was great.
J P — Google review
Great retro building at this location. The employees were friendly as were the other customers. Always a must when visiting the area.
Karen B — Google review
We went through the drive thru and there were two younger ladies working. I couldn't tell if anybody else was working or not but the ladies were fantastic. They were working very hard as it was busy and their board was completely full. Most people would have lost it or broke down but these two were killing it. They communicated the wait, were extremely apologetic and grateful for our patience. We will definitely return just because of these two and their unwavering customer service skills.
Donald R — Google review
I can’t imagine why people are frustrated with minimum wage hikes when there was a dude at the register flirting with a girl while I stood at the counter to pick up my order that didn’t include the drinks I ordered. Several minutes later someone else finally provided cups. I wish I could go to work and flirt with customers while still getting paid.
Ben M — Google review
This place is an absolute treasure of nostalgia!! The restaurant has a style all it's own set in an era gone by. The draft mugs for your root beer are simply amazing. The food is always good the curds are always cheesy and the service is first-class. This place is worth the veer off I-70 into Boonville.
Kaleb H — Google review
Always very enjoyable to visit here! There's something about getting a frozen mug of fresh root beer, that's just downright nostalgic! The food is always fresh, & hot! The staff is always friendly, & I love sitting next to the fire! I only got a root beer, & cheese curds during this visit...but, it was all good!

If you're on the hunt for a dining experience that goes beyond the ordinary, look no further than W J's. Nestled in a charming old house just off the main street, this gem offers an inviting atmosphere with ample street parking. As soon as you step inside, you'll feel like part of the family thanks to their warm welcome and exceptional service. The cozy bar area sets the stage for a delightful evening, where you can enjoy drinks while waiting for your table.
5 star resturant doesn't even come close to the exceptional service and food quality we experienced on a busy Friday night. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and welcomed like we where regulars. The setting is an old house off the main street with plenty of street parking. Through the front door is a small but inviting sit at bar. Several small tables throughout 2 rooms and 1 larger room that had several people sitting around 2 large tables. The walls were covered with interesting pictures of locals and older architecture from the town. The waitress was very friendly and helped us upon sitting down. We recieved our drink order quickly and she answered all our questions with great recommendations. We ordered the Ahi Tuna and skillet potatoes. The waitress said it may be alittle while due to large wedding party. We recieved our salad quickly with house made horseradish dill dressing that was rich and full of flavor. To our very pleasent surprise our food arrived very quickly. The waitress told us the owner pushed our meal ahead of the big party and the owner wanted to meet us and talk. The presentation of the Ahi Tuna with the potatoes was perfect. The Tuna was prepared perfect and able to cut with a fork edge like butter. The sauce was perfectly added to the Tuna in a very minimal amount as to not over power the fish but compliment the dish with a richness. The potatoes were a surprise with deep pepper and buttery flavor. The entire dish was definitely unique and delicious. The owner introduced himself Brad Woolridge and asked if he could sit and visit. He told us of the history of his resturant and his father's strong influence in his life so much so there was a wall of pictures of his life and a resturant table that he and his father dined at regularly. Very rich emotional inspired history Brad shared with us. I could write so much about Brad and the conversation he had with us. He truly is a passionate resturant owner and chef. He introduced us to Tank the chef and Spencer the bartender. We had great conversations with both of them. This was a very unique and inspiring experience. Only in a small town do you get to meet exceptional people that love living their lives and enjoy meeting strangers. Wj's is a must stop and we would drive out of our way to experience the outstanding people we met and consider friends. Thank you Brad and your staff for a truly unique night of dining and conversation.

This place was amazing, we had a short wait but the staff was so nice about everything and brought drinks while we waited. I got the pasta Alfredo and my boyfriend got the wade davis (steak and potato) each entree comes with soup or salad which is always a kicker. Usually I pass on Alfredo when I'm out because it's not very exciting but this Alfredo was incredible! It was peppery and garlicy, tons of flavor! Loved it!

Really cool place! Never would have expected such a nice little restaurant to be inside an actual house, but it's pretty cool! All the staff was lovely; & even tho one of our orders got mixed up, it was all really good. The owner personally thanked us for coming in, which was unexpected but nice. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Restaurant
The 87 Diner is a classic greasy spoon restaurant with a great and attentive waitress. The menu offers huge pancakes, fresh orange juice, cakes, pies, eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. They also serve corned beef hash and have generous portion sizes at an affordable price. Paying with cash is recommended to get the best deal due to a surcharge for credit/debit cards. The food is fresh and crisp with friendly and fast service.
Stopped by while on a business trip. I had never been to this restaurant before but found it to be a very nice and welcoming place! The waitresses were super friendly and on top of getting my order. The breakfast I ordered was huge with great portions. Every bit of food I received was delicious! Prices were also super reasonable too. I think for my lunch and tip, I paid less than $25. I consider that I deal for the amount of food I received!

Stopped here for lunch on our way to KC. Kind of hidden in a small industrial area but plenty of gravel parking and a few spots on concrete along the building. Glampers can get in here. We had the Strawberry Bistro salad and the Catfish Nuggets Special. Both were good. Good food and good prices. Looks like they may be expanding to include dinner hours as well. Lots of locals here for lunch.

When visiting Boonville, make sure to stop by the River, Rails & Trails Museum for a charming and informative experience. The museum offers a well-laid out and spacious environment with tastefully displayed exhibits that provide insight into the city's history. Visitors can also enjoy a detailed train exhibit and explore period pieces related to the Missouri River and the local railroad. Additionally, there is a gift shop with reasonably priced souvenirs available for purchase.
Very nice, fully wheelchair accessible museum. Lots of things geared toward kids, but still a very enjoyable and educational museum for adults. BIG and very clean bathrooms with a private space for nursing. Well mannered pets on leash are welcome too!

This museum is soooo charming, clean, spacious, well-laid out, and beautiful. The displays were very tastefully done and well explained. The gift shop is easy to access and reasonable in prices. Please consider adding to their donation jar to keep this museum up and running and expanding. It is worth it, doesn't take up much time at all to view everything, and even offers a little fun with their train exhibit (which is absolutely amazing in its details). For a quarter, you get to make the train run! Can't beat that! Plus, the location is perfect to visit nearby attractions.

Thespian Hall, a historic building constructed by early settlers in the 1800s and preserved by the Friends of Historic Boonville, offers guided tours showcasing its role during the Civil War. The venue hosts quality performances in a quaint environment with a rich history. Visitors can enjoy events like dance recitals and music festivals while appreciating the building's beauty and historical significance. The hall is praised for its charm as a small venue and has been chosen for special occasions like weddings.
Great local play hall with tons of history. I saw a wonderful Christmas concert there and it was so well done and very much like stepping back into the past

I attended the Missouri River Festival of the Arts recently at Thespian Hall. Sitting in this venue was like going back in time to the classic music halls of yesteryear, yet it was well preserved, clean, and, surprisingly, the seats were quite comfortable! What really stood out to me was the amazing acoustics of this venue. I was seated just a few rows from the back wall on the lower level, but i felt like I was front-and-center with the orchestra. Can't wait to return to this venue for next year's festival!

Attended Big Muddy Folk Festival. Wonderful small venue with excellent acoustic.
Greg M — Google review
Went here for a dance recital. Couldn't find dedicated parking and all parking near the venus was taken. Seats are small, uncomfortable, and close. The person in front of me was similar in height, but I couldn't see the show over her head.... not much of an entry area or standing room for before a show or intermission.
Sara L — Google review
Certainly a "vibe". While you shouldn't expect anything crazy in terms of production, you can expect quality performance. The theatre has a rich history and those in charge of maintenance have done an excellent job in keeping it's quaint environment alive.

Very well done free Christian music festival. Mid July 2018 for the next one. Pretty close to the lake so there were tons of Mayflies and other insects flying around, but not one bite from any of them. The park is a pretty nice place too.

I am especially interested in anything related to historic railroading. As a kid growing up with steam engines daily passing less than a block from our house, the excitement never stopped. I especially like this site because of the engineering demanded to overcome two transportation obstacles, the river vs railroad, and railroad accommodating barge traffic.

Pizza restaurant
If you're on a road trip and find yourself in Boonville, Missouri, make sure to stop by Breadeaux Pizza for a delightful pizza experience. This charming chain specializes in both classic and inventive pizzas served on their signature chewy French-bread-style crusts. During my visit, I indulged in both square and hand-tossed varieties that were generously topped with ingredients like beef, mild sausage, and an irresistible alfredo sauce paired with cheddar and mozzarella.
I really liked this little place. Great pizza, and a cozy atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but they make everything to order so that's expected. I'll probably be back before my trip is over. I had the western chicken pizza, and the toasted ravioli. The pizza was their small (10") on their thin and crispy crust. More than enough for me. Brought 2 slices back to the hotel.
Craig S — Google review
I made a road trip 2 1/2 hours specifically to eat here. The town I live in use to had a Breadeaux but no longer does. The staff there was absolutely amazing, super friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bathrooms were very nice and clean. The food was better than I remembered it being. There was a couple there from out of state that also loved it. GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!
Billy M — Google review
Excellent pizza, just like I remembered it. I hadn't had Breadeaux pizza in 20 years. We made a 2 hour road trip just to stop in and see if it was as good today as when we last had it. The pizza didn't disappoint. We had thin crust meat galore and a BBQ pizza. The crust was amazing and the toppings were delicious. I highly suggest you try it for yourself.
Jeff D — Google review
Staff was friendly, professional, and served with a smile. We had nachos with chicken and ham and cheese baked potato. Absolutely Amazing and well worth the affordable amount they charge. We have now found another affordable place in Boonville to eat that you won't leave from hungry.

Stopped @Boonseville, Mo on the way to St. louis from Sioux Falls, SD We tried both a square and hand tossed pizza. The special 26.99 for 2 large 2 toppings. The kids loved the alfredo sauce with cheddar & mozzarella. We had beef and mild sausage w/marinara. The square pizza was not like any pizza I had tried before: crispy edges & crust with a bread like interior. Both pizzas had plenty of sauce without having to order extra: hard to get from most pizza places. Both were piled with toppings. One or two slices fill you up & The leftovers the next day were equally as good. The entire family loved this pizza so much We stopped again on the way back to Sioux Falls and ordered three more pizzas. It was amazing again! For a town with 8000 people, shocking any other pizza joint survives with this competition Wish Sioux Falls had this pizza place as an option. Worth the stop if your town does not have one!!
Sienna S — Google review
Great customer service, awesome pizza. I remember back in the 80's when they started... still just doing a great job. As soon as I opened their door, the rich aroma of Italian herbs and fresh bread reassured me that my first return visit is 20 years later was going to be a good one. We were not disappointed!
Jesse D — Google review
We were blowing through town and stopped here on a whim. The cheesesticks are very cheesey and they have that streeeeetch affect that everbody loves. You can dip them in their house brand pizza sauce which is very well balanced, slightly sweet. We're big fans of fusion cuisine and the cheeseburger pizza did not dissapoint. I got to enjoy two of my favorite dishes at the same time. It was like a pizza and a cheeseburger made love and had a baby in my mouth. If you're from the area or passing through Boonville and need somewhere to eat then eat here.

Menu is full of awesomeness breakfast and lunch, definitely something for everyone! Waitress was awesome unfortunately I didn't catch her name but she never missed a beat she kept up with the flow of customers perfectly and she was very polite. We tried a couple different things. The cheese curds are always a favorite at my table. The French fries did not disappoint. The Frisco was amazing! The crispy Chicken Sandwich was cooked to perfection and delicious. Several places were closed and they were closing early due to the holiday weekend and staffing. The menu looked great! We wanted to try several items which I have no issue with since we don't mind leftovers. We got a full order of biscuits and gravy... it's a lot so be prepared. Really good with a good amount of sausage and great biscuits. The Farmer's Omelet had fresh ingredients and good. The Pecan Pancake was huge with chunks of Pecan. I really enjoyed it. The service was great. She kept our water and coffee cups full and had a great cadence checking in to see if we needed anything. Great experience.

The angel food latte with blueberry cold foam was the yummiest coffee I’ve ever had in my whole life!! Got some quiches which were amazing too. This is the vibiest coffee shop you will find in boonville! So cozy.

After viewing their website, I ordered the tater tot casserole (half) and a side of gravy to add to breakfast I cooked at home. The gravy is what most people refer to as “dirty gravy.” It literally tasted like the flour roux from the pan it was made in, with pepper added. I poured it over my homemade biscuits and had to throw the plate in the trash. It was horrible. The tater tot casserole was literally 4 ounces. (Yes, I weighed it.) It was seasoned on the heavier side, although it was good. (I cook with a fair amount of seasoning, but not quite THIS much.) For the amount of food I received, it’s easy to say the prices are high. Nor is the quality much. 👎🏻

Went here for a little Saturday morning coffee and breakfast date! It’s a fun little spot about 30 minutes west of Columbia. Not a large area for seating but had plenty of room while we were there. Got a peanut butter blender, cinnamon roll and breakfast burrito. All good food and quick service! Was a great spot to sit, talk and chill for a bit. Check it out!

tried the simple engineer panini and subbed the peach mustard for the lemon dill aioli — super delicious! came back a few days later for the same thing, but due to a miscommunication I got the sriracha aioli which was also super delicious! love the paninis and pastries here, plus Winston is a really great waiter. Will definitely be back to try new things.

Quaint breakfast restaurant with an outdoor seating area and deck, also inside seating. Delicious biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito, and bumble 🐝 coffee was top notch! I myself enjoyed the regular coffee unlimited. Highly suggest you stop here for breakfast or lunch when in the area.

Funky, fun little place next to the train depot’s Rivers and Rails Museum. Large selection of coffee and tea drinks as well as smoothies and blenders. Biscuits and gravy were on point, peppery but not overly so, didn’t have to add anything. Fun, friendly and efficient staff. Cool, eclectic decor. Outside upper deck seating if that’s your think, but at 90° and 72% humidity I chose an air conditioned inside table. 😁

We arrived under an hour before closing. The staff was very friendly, lots of smiles and laughs in a totally Zen atmosphere. The food was delicious, and came out fast. What a great place to eat. We had leftovers that we had for dinner that night. The Engineer Sandwich was great.

Derailed is a charming little coffee shop and cafe. They have indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating, including tables with umbrellas for a little shade. The owner was so nice and keeps a pretty garden around the cafe. I tried one of their yogurt bowl daily specials, which came with Greek yogurt, fruit and, I believe, a cinnamon granola. It was delicious, and I’d eat it again for sure. My husband liked his breakfast burrito, and the coffee was great, as well. We also saw lots of people coming in and out with orders, so it’s definitely a popular place in town. I’d recommend it.

Restaurant
The Brew Brothers is a versatile spot suitable for various occasions, whether it's watching the game with friends, enjoying a date night, or grabbing a quick bite. The menu offers specialty craft brews to pair with juicy burgers and hot pizzas. One of their standout dishes is the Macho Nachos, which can easily serve as a meal due to its generous toppings and flavorful sauce. The restaurant's unique atmosphere features TVs tuned to different sports and a large sit-at bar in the center.
*UPDATE* Contacted Brew Brothers and spoke with manager Josh. He was very friendly and understanding and offered a whole new meal either carry out or eat in. We chose to eat in for dinner. Everthing was great. The food was hot, tasty and just as ordered. They were very busy, being a Saturday night, but the service was excellent. Will definitely eat at the restaurant again. Ordered delivery, first they don't send the habenero jelly that is supposed to come with the chicken strips. Then they didn't include the extra sauce you order and pay for. Add in no crispy onions for the French Dip and a melted lid for the AuJu making it spill everywhere making the whole dinner a soggy, sloppy, inedible mess. They really need to do better.
Shannon H — Google review
I don't give bad reviews because I'm in the service industry so I get it. But it wasn't busy and they are arguing over where to seat people and how, in front of customers. The lady in a booth had to go request service because they didn't get her. The fries tasted like fish. The burger was requested well done and has so much pink in it. I was just highly disappointed in it over all. The space is a unique and cool but won't be going back. The server had 4 tables with 4 other servers. Bar tender that had to help the lady had an immediate attitude and mad me mad just looking at her. Attitude adjustments are needed

Best part was the atmosphere! Very fun vibe and unique decor. The food was fine. Nothing superb but it was good and I didn't have to do the dishes! Our server was a good guy. He was trying. Would we go back? Maybe.

Nice bar and restaurant located within the Isle of Capri Casino. Restaurant is clean and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of TVs and pretty cool decor. Menu is pretty much bar bites and meals. I came in just before closing and they were quick to serve and accommodated my no bacon request on the potatoe skins I ordered. They also do take out.
CatchingKato — Google review
We waited for quite some time for our food to be prepared. I assumed that because the restaurant was nearly empty that it meant our food was being prepared well. My son's burger was good, my fish tacos were too just lacking in the ratio compared to tortilla. Our waitress was very cordial and our food was good. The place was super clean and very comfortable in atmosphere. I would recommend and want to try again.
Hallie C — Google review
No seasoning or flavor to the.food at all? Had dinner & breakfast when staying at the hotel & both were not as good as I would expect for the restaurant atmosphere. I expected something thatvwas going to impress me & that I would want to try again. The food wasn't horrible but definitely not going to waste my money & go back again...I will have something delivered to the hotel or go get something local in town.
Naomi K — Google review
I ordered delivery with Door dash. The food was delicious! I had the ribeye and the loaded baked potato (the largest potato I have seen, and a meal in itself). The steak was cooked perfectly and charred beautifully. Because they use cardboard containers, the fries and onion rings stayed crispy. Next time I am in town I will definitely order again! Thanks so much!

Beautiful mansion, beautiful site but I oops. The gate was open and look to left as usual and did not see private sign. The gate was open and car parked by the entry way. In past aslong as gate open, car at the entry way, it is okay to visit. Today people rules are different. I got locked in the property.

Very cool looking old place no one around to give a tour though

Beautiful old historical home. Still has orginal furnishings, clothes, dishes ect...of the family the home was built for. Is still owned by the same family that settled it in early 1800's. Unfortunately at this time its closed to the public while the newest genrration of care takers are doing repairs to the home, outbuildings and farm.
Jan T — Google review
No longer is open to daily public tours. How ever if the Nelson leonard family is contacted, sometimes a large group private tour can be arranged. The mansion has historic family paintings, clothes, dishes, furniture and mementoes owned by several generations of the founding family members. Some dating through out the 1800's into 1900's from around the world. The home and furnishings are in extreme disrepair & worn use by the many generations of family members and pets. So dont expect pristine museum condition or you'll be disappointed. This has been and is a family home. Still decorated and furnished mainly as it was when first built for Mrs. Nadine Leonard by her father Mr. Nelson, a wealthy banker from Boonville, Mo. The farm was in second generation ownership of the Leonard Family when the present home (3rd) was built. The family stories and surroundings give you an insight into the life of a family from the 1800's Missouri country side. I have always loved Ravenswood Farm and house. My husband was a third generation farm hand to work on the farm., I was a tour guide/ house keeper on and off for almost 25 years. Knowing and working for three generations of the family. We raised or children here and was visited by our grandchildren prior to our retirement and closing of the home. We look forward to seeing all the much needed repairs and improvements being done by the family members in charge of the farm and home now. It is slow progress and expensive. But their love for Ravenswood shows with all their dedicated work.

I was on an interior design field trip, and the details in the house were amazing!

One night stop in Boonville & needed to find a place to eat. Stumbled upon Maggie's - so lucky. Great selection of "bar" food, with ample portions & fair prices. Excellent service as well. If you're looking for a decent meal in Boonville, would definitely recommend Maggie's.

A true neighborhood gem! Friendly, local service. Ice cold beer. Friendly patrons. The onion straws appetizer was amazing. The food was very good. Great location.

Getting late as we travel west on I-70. Hungry. We see Maggie's in Booneville. Nice local bar restaurant, chicken bites, Ruben, and fried green beans. All were very tasty and prepared to perfection. Glad we made this as our eat stop!

I have been in the search for the best burger for many many years and I finally found it. The Buffalo blue burger has taken the crown! Absolutely incredible. Service was quick even during a weird hour. Try the pretzels and beer cheese sauce. They were excellent also. My husband had the blackened tenderloin and that was excellent also. Definitely will be back to try other options.

We popped in for a drink while making our way up and down the street shopping. We did not eat, but other people's food looked good. We were full from breakfast. The bar tender was super sweet and took good care of us. They do have live music a few nights a week, which is a good find. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside and it's 2 sides, each with a bar. We'll be back for food on our next visit.

Stopped at Maggie’s for a quick bite. No wait and got our food quick. The Prime Rib Philly Cheese Steak sandwich was very good. Be prepared for a lot of salad if you order the large one. And a very good salad too!

A great burger spot, especially for those who just road 30 miles on a bike to get there. Beef is great tasting and fresh toppings. Brew pub atmosphere.

Fast food restaurant
Wendy's is a popular fast-food burger chain known for its burgers and sides like chili and baked potatoes. It has been serving customers since 2007, offering a full menu of delicious breakfast options. The restaurant also provides drive-thru service, ensuring that customers can conveniently enjoy their meals on the go.
Atmosphere is just normal. Food was well made. Fries could have been a little less cooked and we're cooler than expected. So I think they set a moment. Burger was well made but I could have had a little more lettuce. Just seemed thin. The workers are fast though. Like fussy bees.
Robert D — Google review
Got a chicken wrap. Tortilla was so stale it cracked. Very little chicken. My son got a bacon cheeseburger. Cold and not fresh at all. Didn't open the bag till we got back on the highway. Try to stop elsewhere! If you do happen to stop here, I recommend checking your food before you leave. I will never stop at this location again! Absolutely terrible! If I could give less than 1 star I certainly would.
Lisa R — Google review
This picture was taken at 10:40pm. Google maps and the Wendy's app both say this location closes at midnight. The lights were off, floor was mopped and chairs on top of the tables. This means they ben shut down for a good while before i took this picture. People, especially truck drivers show up late and hungry because it says they're open until midnight. This level of laziness is completely ridiculous. The workers were hiding in the back playing around talking
Sergio G — Google review
I'd appreciate as well as other customers to view if an employee is struggling preparing quality standard food on the line, why doesn't all employees who are observing go and assist their employee or colleague. Speed, dedication and respect for their employee would be a grand idea for the community to witness poor satisfaction. Team work, guys and girls!!! Greatness can be achieved with a little effort and dedication. Help each other in the required time frame.

I ordered a meal at 9:40 pm on the Wendy’s app. I waited in my truck till about 9:55pm to walk in to get my order but little did you know the restaurant was closed. On google maps it says open till 12 am. Now I can’t get my money back and I’m starving.
Khang V — Google review
Ordered a chicken wrap. Tortilla was stale as hell. Very little chicken. My son got a bacon cheeseburger. It was cold and not fresh. Definitely a place to avoid!
John R — Google review
I wish I would have read the reviews first. I normally don't give bad feedback, but this was a waste of $26. He ordered the burger and fries combo and I ordered chicken sandwich combo. All of the tables were dirty. The fries were old and cold. Possibly fried in old oil. I took two bites and he only took two bites of our sandwiches. It didn't seem like the employees really wanted to be there and it showed in the food quality. It was terrible. Worst experience for a long time! I will never go back!

Wanted a " biggie bag" special, out of chicken nuggets, nope can't get anything for a substitution. So only 13 minutes from order time to actually get food. Now I remember the reason why I usually eat at a mom and dad cafe the next exit east.

I order Pizza Hut at least twice a week I got to my destination about noon (not local) I called to see if I could get my order placed for a delivery they told me unfortunately they didn't have a driver coming in until 4 PM. I understand that aspect at 3:45 I called to place my order again. They informed me again that they were going to have a driver there until 4:30 and that it was going to probably be 5:30 before they got my pizza to me due to the fact that he already had one delivery ahead of mine already, I asked can they do two at once and was informed no, they only take one order at a time. This to me seems like a complete waste of your delivery drivers time and fuel and if I was working on tips I would want to be as profitable as possible Please do a better job in the future I'll just get my pizza somewhere else
Mark B — Google review
This review is a little harder to leave than most because I worked for Pizza Hut for many years when I was a kid. I'm very fond of this company. Unfortunately as soon as we walked in the door they turned us away and said that they were understaffed to be able to help us. This happened not too long ago. Our second attempt was not much better. As soon as we walked in the door they said that they're fountain machines are not working. They went on to tell us that morning shift forgot to stock the 20 oz bottles. All they had, is what they had and nothing else. Secondly we ordered a large stuffed crust pizza and then shortly after they told us they were out of stuffed crust dough.. I'm pretty sure it's a hand-tossed pizza with string cheese in the crust. Apparently not anymore. And lastly they brought us out our pizza several minutes before our appetizer. She said it is just because it's how the cook runs the kitchen. Like what? I honestly strongly suggest going to a different spot for pizza. It is not worth the hassle going here. It is very sad to see how bad this company has fell.

I made a delivery order and had the tracker going and it stayed on "making order" for an hour so I decided to call and was told my order had been canceled when I said "and no one thought to give me a call to let me know?" The girl on the phone answered that she didn't know because she wasn't there and it was probably canceled because they didn't have a delivery driver, putting the attitude aside because I worked fast food for years and I get it, she probably didn't like the tone in my voice but the least anyone could do was give me a call and let me know that my order had been canceled due to not having a driver or I don't know maybe given me a call to see if I still wanted to have them make the order and just come pick it up? A call isn't that hard to make busy or not at least let me know my order was canceled and why, I'm not usually one to leave a bad review in fact like I said I worked fast food for years I get it but I would have at least tried to make a call to let the customer know it's called common courtesy....

Would not go here again. Came at 6pm said no one could run a register so they were closing dine in. There was still 5 people working. Ordered 3 pizzas next time they only made two then had to make third hy that time the other two were cold. This is what you get when you have all kids running a store. Wouldn’t recommend to go here for anyone.
Paul H — Google review
Called to explain my pizza was wrong. The "assistant manager" was very rude. He didn't even act like I'm a valued customer. From the time he got on the phone about the situation, he had an attitude. I had to explain to him how I would've spoke to a customer. He refused to give me the number for area coach, store manager etc. I could tell he's tired of his job and was overwhelmed but I'm just a customer. It wasn't my fault my order was wrong. A couple weeks earlier, the same guy fixed my order even though it was either a system glitch or my mistake. He willingly and politely fixed it but this time, he was just rude and inconsiderate. I told him that when I speak to the store manager, I would like for him to listen to himself on the recording and how he was being rude and disrespectful. He told me he stopped the recording by pressing certain buttons on the phone. So they have a way to hide their discrepancies from the company and obviously management taught him that to cover their tracks of wrongful treatment of customers. I spend between 60 and 120 a month here but I am highly disappointed in the immature and rude way they treated me. I hope this gets fixed. I called corporate and will be waiting for pizzahut store manager to fix my issue.
Robin C — Google review
Today I went in to have a nice dinner with my family. Come to find out they aren't dine in! She was very rude and said it's just me and the manager here so we can't have dine in. So stupid! The place was filthy anyway. A few months back I went in at 12 and the guy was like oh, were not open. Boonville Pizza Hut will NOT be getting any of my money.... Pizza Hut, you've failed miserably!

Barbecue restaurant
Restaurant
Buerky's, a barbecue restaurant, received high praise on May 19th. Customers expressed their satisfaction with the food they ordered through DoorDash. Despite having tried it before, they were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The fish dish in particular stood out and was deemed the best ever tasted from Buerky's. This positive experience reminded them of the good food enjoyed in Mississippi and highlighted the skill of the individual who fried the catfish.
Great food and atmosphere here. Fresh food and family or friends makes for a good meal. Guitarists here play well and provide music straight from the soul (the band Thoreau’d in the Road) Kind employees and waiters help get your food. Overall 10/10 recommend to any barbecue lovers.

I am completely in love with this place! The food is amazing, prices reasonable, and everyone I have encountered has been honestly friendly. Anyone can fake a smile and be courteous, but when you're doing something you love, a warm and happy demeanor shines through. They're doing everything right here!

As someone who does not live nearby, I am jealous of the locals who can come here frequently. We had a great lunch with everyone very happy with their choices. Going on the weekend to get ribs was a great call. Sides were tasty. Service was fast. Would love to get a chance to come back soon.

My family and I love Buerky's! Hands down the best BBQ we've ever eaten! Very friendly staff, and awesome family style environment. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone whose ready to experience about as good a selection of quality and custom smoked meats as one could find throughout all of Missouri! Owned by a truly genuine and loving family...The Buerky's! They are the real McCoy; this fact being one that you can take to the bank! Our sincerest "Thank You" to the entire Buerky's family our family love your establishment!

Have you tried the sandwiches yet? You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure. Everything is cut and prepared fresh daily. The salad bar has 16 items. The baked potatoes are really good, especially with all the toppings. Come in and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The loaded pulled pork nachos are my personal favorite and their fried fish is excellent as well. Large portion sizes and the food always tastes great. Their staff has always been friendly and attentive, and the dining area is kept clean. You definitely need to stop here and eat!
Valerie G — Google review
We walked in with a group of 20 people, (including kids of all ages!) and Buerky's was so flexible and accommodating. They allowed us to rearrange a few tables and essentially have an entire area to ourselves for eat in. Brisket was great! Tender, flavorful, delicious. French fries very flavorful. Mac didn't look great, but tasted like good ole comfort food Mac. Turkey was very good. Fried fish nuggets saved the day for some kiddos. Note that they did run out of a lot of menu items, and there was a note the window which states '$3 surcharge for brisket'.....but brisket was the only thing on the menu. Not sure if that surcharge was built in to the price or not, but we paid $40 for a sandwich and some brisket. 😳 Suggestion: when menu begins to sell out, do away with the surcharge. It's not really fair if that's the only thing you are selling at the time. Otherwise just increase the price on the menu.
